- 1:34after the show is over.
- 1:36So this is Inspirations for Your Life.
- 1:38Today, like I said, is Friday April 10th
- 1:412026.
- 1:43And the granular topic for today is Renewal
- 1:48is Actually Real, Series 5, Show 15, Episode
- 1:527.
- 1:53And this is going to close out our
- 1:56master topic week.
- 1:58So I'm John C.
- 2:00Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
- 2:04podcast host, coach, keynote speaker, graduate student and
- 2:07a passionate lifelong learner.
- 2:10Pretty soon, as of next Friday, I'll be
- 2:12a published author on April 17th.
- 2:15So here's the truth, ladies and gentlemen, most
- 2:17people wait for change.
- 2:19Very few people live like it already happened.
- 2:22And that is the difference between staying stuck
- 2:24and actually rising.
- 2:26If your life does not reflect the change,
- 2:29the change is not real yet to you.
- 2:32And that can be a problem.
- 2:34Number one, guys, act like change is possible.
- 2:39Your behavior must reflect your belief.
- 2:43If it doesn't, you're gonna just cycle.
- 2:48You could spiral downward, you could just stay
- 2:51stagnant, but it's not a healthy thing.
- 2:54All right.
- 2:55Number two, carry fresh energy into old spaces.
- 3:00Do not bring outdated thinking into your next
- 3:03chapter.
- 3:04There's no need for it.
- 3:05Your next chapter can be completely different than
- 3:08the chapter you're currently in right now.
- 3:10And you don't even need to finish the
- 3:11chapter you're in right now.
- 3:12You can move to a brand new chapter.
- 3:15I think a lot of people don't realize
- 3:17that it's never too late to start again.
- 3:22You know, people have timelines or when things
- 3:26are supposed to be done.
- 3:27But it's interesting that people just don't really
- 3:30get certain things.
- 3:33And I want to tell you that when
- 3:36you believe something, and I'm going to go
- 3:38back to a saying I've used many times
- 3:39before, Henry Ford said, if you believe you
- 3:42can do it, you're right.
- 3:43And if you believe you can't, you're also
- 3:44right.
- 3:45So our belief sets up our mind and
- 3:48body to achieve.
- 3:50And so I talked about something new yesterday,
- 3:53which was kind of an interesting epiphany I
- 3:56had.
- 3:56And that's bar.
- 3:57And that is believable.
- 3:59Okay, achievable.
- 4:01Okay.
- 4:03And when we think about believable, we think
- 4:06about which achievable, right?
- 4:11That's important.
- 4:14Okay.
- 4:18Relieving yourself to, you know, the stresses of
- 4:22life can sometimes be hard.
- 4:26But we need to push a little bit
- 4:29each day.
- 4:30Remember, it's gonna get uncomfortable.
- 4:32I said that to you guys.
- 4:34Number three, renewal starts in daily choices, small
- 4:37actions create lasting transformation.
- 4:39And that's the most important thing I want
- 4:40you guys to get from today is that
- 4:42a small task that you do, but being
- 4:46done consistently over time will build momentum will
- 4:51help you grow exponentially.
- 4:54Number four, new life needs new habits, growth
- 4:57requires structure and repetition.
- 5:00So don't get stuck because the Joneses say
- 5:03you can't do it.
- 5:04The marks and say you can't do it.
- 5:06The bandwagon effect, don't get stuck on that.
- 5:09Because once you go down that pathway, it's
- 5:12not easy to let's say reverse not that
- 5:16you can't.
- 5:17It's like putting a truck, you know, that
- 5:21doesn't have what's a full four wheel drive.
- 5:26And it goes into a car and you
- 5:28can't back out.
- 5:29Once you get into that mud pit, or
- 5:32that dirt trap.
- 5:34It's very hard to get out if you
- 5:36even can get out on your own.
- 5:38Sometimes you might need help to get out
- 5:40people pushing it or a tow truck or
- 5:43something like that.
- 5:45Number five guys stop expecting old results from
- 5:48new intentions.
- 5:49Nothing changes without aligned action.
- 5:52And Einstein said, definition of insanity is doing
- 5:55the same thing over and over again and
- 5:56expecting different results.
- 5:57So why are you doing that?
- 5:59You're not insane.
- 6:01Change up what you're doing even change one
- 6:03thing.
- 6:04It doesn't have to be everything.
- 6:05Just change one of the variables.
- 6:06And you can see that there inevitably will
- 6:09be change.
- 6:10Number six guys, rebuild from the inside out.
- 6:14Identity drives everything you create.
- 6:17So you are your reality.
- 6:22You are what your perceptions are transferring to
- 6:28you.
- 6:28So perceptions are very important.
- 6:30And we have to be understanding of those.
- 6:33Number seven guys, let today reflect what you
- 6:37now know, awareness without action is wasted.
- 6:44I talked about awareness a lot in my
- 6:46book, I'm not going to go into that
- 6:47now.
- 6:47But awareness is something that got me to
- 6:52change my life over 14 years ago.
- 6:55But most people think awareness is this quick
- 7:00thing that you learn.
- 7:01It's not.
- 7:02It's a gradual process where you become in
- 7:06tune with your mind, your heart, your spirit,
- 7:10things you see, hear, touch, taste, smell, and
- 7:13even the proprioception of your hand of your
- 7:15feet of your limbs and different parts of
- 7:17your body.
- 7:18I think that's a really important thing.
- 7:21And hopefully you guys will definitely enjoy that
- 7:23in my book because I go very deep
- 7:26with that.
- 7:27Number eight, practice your comeback.
- 7:30Repetition builds strength and confidence.
- 7:34I know that we've all fell before.
- 7:36And it's not how many times we fell.
- 7:40Doesn't matter.
- 7:42It's how many times we got back up.
- 7:45If we fell five, and we got back
- 7:47up five, great, we fell 10, we get
- 7:48up 10.
- 7:49Great.
- 7:49If we fell five, and we only got
- 7:52up for problem, we fell 10, we only
- 7:55got up nine, we're still down.
- 7:57Those are problems.
- 7:58So practice your comeback.
- 8:00You don't need to be an expert to
- 8:04start or great to start.
- 8:07But you have to start to become that
- 8:09expert to become great.
- 8:11Many people I talk to like, Oh, john,
- 8:13I'm not good enough to do that.
- 8:15Neither was anybody else.
- 8:17So you need to start.
- 8:18So you can become that.
- 8:21Number nine, live lighter, clearer, stronger, remove what
- 8:26slows your growth.
- 8:28And when you find what slows your growth,
- 8:30you can change your life.
- 8:32Let me say that again.
- 8:35When you find what slows your growth, you
- 8:39can remove it and that will change your
- 8:41life.
- 8:42Now.
- 8:43Removing it does not cause an immediate change.
- 8:49It causes your awareness to change.
- 8:53And then slowly over time.
- 8:56You've noticed the patterns have changed.
- 8:59As long as the patterns change, you will
- 9:01move very quickly to your desired results.
- 9:07Number 10, guys, protect what has been restored.
- 9:12Progress must be guarded intentionally must be guarded
- 9:19intentionally.
- 9:20If it's guarded intentionally, then and only then
- 9:24will you be able to move forward.
- 9:28Only that protect what has been restored.
- 9:38And when we know that progress is guarded,
- 9:42we're a little more.
- 9:46I'll say cautious, but we're a little more
- 9:49discerning in the steps that we take.
- 9:53Let me give you an example.
- 9:55Let's say you're a kid and you're getting
- 9:57an allowance when you were younger.
- 9:59And you were given I don't know $10
- 10:02a week, whatever.
- 10:06And even though there was more money, you
- 10:09weren't going to get it until next week,
- 10:12next Monday, next Friday.
- 10:13So you needed to budget that $10 for
- 10:16things you might want to do that might
- 10:18be getting ice creams that might be getting
- 10:21other things your lunch and things were covered.
- 10:23But if there's something else you wanted, maybe
- 10:25there's a toy you want or something like
- 10:27we had a five and dime by us.
- 10:29And there are always these inexpensive things you
- 10:31could go and get.
- 10:32So what that teaches us is that we're
- 10:37discerning about how we're spending our money.
- 10:38We're discerning about how we make our choices
- 10:41in life.
- 10:41And these choices will not only define the
- 10:45moment, but they define our character, our integrity,
- 10:48and our entire life.
- 10:51If we stay on that trajectory, if we
- 10:54change, of course, things change in our life.
- 10:58Number 11, guys, renewal is maintenance.
- 11:03It's not magic.
- 11:04Consistency sustains everything in your life.
- 11:08Everything.
- 11:10Maybe you're saying to me, John, you know,
- 11:12I've done the consistency route.
- 11:14It didn't work for me.
- 11:15I get that it didn't work for you.
- 11:16That doesn't mean you stop it.
- 11:20It might mean that you probably did it
- 11:21one day, two days or three days, maybe
- 11:23another day, but you didn't get the results
- 11:26you wanted.
- 11:26So you stopped.
- 11:28That happens with a lot of lead generation
- 11:29systems that happens with a lot of business
- 11:31initiatives.
- 11:32People stop because they don't get the result
- 11:35when you keep doing something and it becomes
- 11:38a natural habit, something very easy to add
- 11:41on to your daily routine.
- 11:43Maybe it's messaging to people on LinkedIn or
- 11:46Facebook or what have you.
- 11:48And when you treat as a system and
- 11:51you don't expect anything, you just do it
- 11:54as a habit.
- 11:56Eventually, it will give you an ROI.
- 11:59So again, renewal is not maintenance.
- 12:01In the sense of it doesn't just happen
- 12:05once.
- 12:06Renewal is maintenance.
- 12:08We think about it being consistent.
- 12:10It's not magic.
- 12:12And maintenance we've learned sustains everything in our
- 12:16life.
- 12:19I was talking to President of my university
- 12:22just yesterday on a walk.
- 12:24And we were talking about sustainability at Montclair
- 12:27State University.
- 12:29And he made a very interesting statement that,
- 12:33you know, they have, you know, a cogen
- 12:37facility where they create most of their power,
- 12:40but not all.
- 12:41And being a gas fired environment, you might
- 12:45think that that is bad for the environment.
- 12:47But he was explaining how different nuances, okay,
- 12:53and producing in our state is actually giving
- 12:56us more of a sustainability pattern, because we
- 12:59don't have to ship it out.
- 13:01So those were very interesting things.
- 13:03And when we think about sustainability, a lot
- 13:05of us think about it on a grand
- 13:06level.
- 13:07But we can think about sustainability in our
- 13:09own homes and our own businesses.
- 13:11How do we recycle?
- 13:12How do we throw things out?
- 13:13What do we do in our lives?
- 13:15This is the kicker, guys.
- 13:19Today, do you throw all your garbage in
- 13:23one container?
- 13:23Or do you separate it out?
- 13:25Does your town or does your organization even
- 13:29participate in that?
- 13:31I know there's some that say they do
- 13:32it, and then you do it.
- 13:33And then I find out that they just
- 13:35lump everything back together.
- 13:37Because they charge a lot of money for
- 13:39the separation.
- 13:40But that's not proper.
- 13:42Okay.
- 13:42Number 12, guys, what rises must be sustained.
- 13:47Growth requires discipline over time.
- 13:50Growth does not shoot up because of just
- 13:54one action.
- 13:56Now it can drastically drop by an action
- 13:59you take.
- 14:00That's negative, but it doesn't always dramatically increase
- 14:03with just one action.
- 14:06Takes a series of actions.
- 14:09I'll give you an example.
- 14:10Posting on social media.
- 14:12A lot of people want to post ads.
- 14:14I belong to a lot of different groups.
- 14:17And my whole goal with these groups is
- 14:19not to advertise.
- 14:23It's to create an awareness in the groups.
- 14:27We have a philosophy on one day a
- 14:30week, you're only allowed to post business content.
- 14:33And then usually on Sunday, I choose that
- 14:35day to post nostalgia content, things about history
- 14:38in the town and things like that.
- 14:40Well, the thing about Wednesday is most people
- 14:43and for a while, I was branding my
- 14:45Wednesday post with one of my tech companies.
- 14:48But what I later learned is that you're
- 14:51better off to frame it as a question.
- 14:56And people get curious about it.
- 14:58And when they see there's no company mentioned,
- 15:00and when you ask a question, and they
- 15:02comment back, guess what?
- 15:05You can say, yes, we've been helping people
- 15:07do that for a while.
- 15:08If you want us to help you reach
- 15:10out.
- 15:13See, people value information.
- 15:19And the reason I know this is because
- 15:22when I started with this group, oh gosh,
- 15:24over 12 or 14 years ago, I wasn't
- 15:27growing.
- 15:30And it was because I was posting content
- 15:33that was about, hey, look at me, look
- 15:35at me, look at me, I'm not important.
- 15:37You are.
- 15:39So I changed my philosophy about a year
- 15:43ago, that I need to be giving more
- 15:45to the group.
- 15:47I don't need to worry about what businesses
- 15:51I have, what services I offer, but create
- 15:53curiosity.
- 15:54And that curiosity will get engaged with not
- 15:59overnight.
- 16:01The nostalgia posts obviously get results very quickly.
- 16:06The tech posts, questions like, you know, has
- 16:09anybody experienced something like this?
- 16:11Or I'm curious what you guys are going
- 16:12through.
- 16:13That creates discussion.
- 16:16When one person responds, even if no one
- 16:20else responds, they're seeing that.
- 16:22They're also seeing myself as a top contributor.
- 16:26I'm not the world contributor yet, but I
- 16:28think I'm like 1200 or 1400 points from
- 16:30that.
- 16:31That took some time to grow.
- 16:34And the reason it took time is, I
- 16:36wanted to make sure that people are getting
- 16:40to know me for my integrity.
- 16:43Not as a salesperson, and I'm not a
- 16:46pushy salesperson, but some people do that.
- 16:49This is why when I interview people for
- 16:51the Inspirations of Your Life show, the first
- 16:53question I ask them after I say to
- 16:56them, thank you so much for coming online
- 17:01and picking a time to meet with me.
- 17:04I just want to be clear with you
- 17:06about what this interview is going to consist
- 17:09of.
- 17:09It's going to take about 15 or 20
- 17:10minutes.
- 17:11And in this interview, I'm going to learn
- 17:14if you're a good fit for my audience.
- 17:17I want to also let you know that
- 17:19this is not a sales show.
- 17:21What that means is you cannot come on
- 17:24the show and pitch a product or a
- 17:26service.
- 17:27We can talk about products or services that
- 17:30you have worked with, but it is not
- 17:33a direct association to allow people to buy
- 17:37that product.
- 17:38Now I sometimes make exceptions when there's an
- 17:40author I say, hey, if you want to
- 17:41learn more about their book, but I don't
- 17:42push the book.
- 17:44A lot of people out there, and then
- 17:47I asked this other question, I say, and
- 17:50just tell me before I even get into
- 17:53my second question, I say, just curious, Joe,
- 17:55Mark, what show was it that you watch?
- 17:59Because I have a couple shows, right?
- 18:01And which show was it that inspired you?
- 18:03Which show did you watch?
- 18:04Did you watch, I usually say, which show
- 18:07did you watch?
- 18:08Or did you watch a show?
- 18:11And what makes you think we're a good
- 18:14fit?
- 18:14If they cannot tell me what show or
- 18:20what reason we're a good fit, I say,
- 18:23you know what, I thank you so much
- 18:24for your time.
- 18:26I know it's valuable just like mine is.
- 18:28And one of the things that we ask
- 18:30is that people do watch a full show
- 18:34or two, so they know if it's an
- 18:36alignment, and then come back with us.
- 18:38You know, nine out of 10 people don't
- 18:41come back.
- 18:43And that's okay, because they were just looking
- 18:45to pitch me, okay, a product or service
- 18:49before they even get on the show.
- 18:50And that's a big no, no.
- 18:52And the other thing they do is when
- 18:54they get on the show, they become this
- 18:58unmanageable monster.
- 18:59So I'm very good at handling these kinds
- 19:02of guests.
- 19:03And if something like that happens, we had
- 19:04something about a few years ago happen.
- 19:07Now, when we first started the show over,
- 19:11it's gonna be over four years, because it's
- 19:14four years.
- 19:15And basically, we're going into our fourth month.
- 19:18I'll tell you that I wanted everybody on
- 19:20the show, I didn't care.
- 19:21But now I've gotten very selective as to
- 19:23who do I want on the show?
- 19:25How do they align with my audience and
- 19:27myself?
- 19:28And will this be a good fit?
- 19:31And what I have found is, a lot
- 19:35of people will sometimes lie their way through
- 19:37the interview that can happen not often, what
- 19:40I make it a deliberate interview and ask
- 19:42questions that have required them to take action,
- 19:44there's a good chance they haven't taken those
- 19:46action like watching those shows.
- 19:48When I say that you watch our show,
- 19:49and oh, yeah, so several.
- 19:51Great.
- 19:51Just curious, which show did you watch?
- 19:55And why do you think we're good fit?
- 19:57Oh, john, that was so long ago.
- 19:59Well, if you're having a meeting with me
- 20:01today, and you haven't even bothered to go
- 20:05and watch a show with me, do you
- 20:07really think I should spend 10 or 15
- 20:09minutes to see if you're viable?
- 20:11No.
- 20:13So it was about three years ago, this
- 20:15guy had somewhat convinced me it was a
- 20:19lighter interview, it wasn't as tight as it
- 20:21is now, when we do the pre interview
- 20:23chats.
- 20:24And I let him know about, you know,
- 20:26there's no profanity on the show, and you
- 20:28have to sign a release.
- 20:29And he came back to me, so okay,
- 20:31no problem.
- 20:32And on the show, he did two things.
- 20:38He started to talk about his products or
- 20:42services.
- 20:43And then he cursed.
- 20:45We blocked it out.
- 20:48But as soon as he did, I said,
- 20:50you know what, Joe, look at the time,
- 20:53it has been a privilege and pleasure being
- 20:55with you.
- 20:56We actually have an emergency that just came
- 20:58into our desk that I need to cover.
- 21:00I hope you're doing very well.
- 21:03And good luck with all your ventures and
- 21:06take care.
- 21:07Bam, he's off.
- 21:09Well, thanks so much to him.
- 21:10We appreciate that.
- 21:11And now let's get to what the show
- 21:13is about.
- 21:14So the show is about integrity.
- 21:18The show is about not selling people.
- 21:21The show is about not using profanity.
- 21:25And that was the important newsflash, that I
- 21:28will not let someone come on my show,
- 21:32any of them, and try to dominate it
- 21:35with abusive language, foul language, or even manipulating
- 21:42it.
- 21:42So they're trying to push a product or
- 21:44service when there's no story about it.
- 21:47I had a company on about two years
- 21:49ago.
- 21:50And I knew it was gonna be one
- 21:52way, but it was kind of interesting because
- 21:53they built a product that the Yankees bought
- 21:56and the Dodgers bought and a few other
- 21:59baseball teams bought the Atlanta Braves.
- 22:03And so I brought them on.
- 22:04But I knew when I got them on
- 22:06the show, that they were gonna just fit
- 22:10into my mold, but they weren't gonna do
- 22:12anything more.
- 22:14They really didn't share the show out, nothing.
- 22:18So I was impressed because I'm like, gee,
- 22:20this is great.
- 22:21Now, I'm not so impressed with celebrities or
- 22:25people that have a big following because you
- 22:26know what, a lot of these people, I
- 22:29don't like to say this in a bad
- 22:30way, but they're jerks.
- 22:31They come on my show with this pompous
- 22:35shoulder ego.
- 22:37And they feel that, you know, they're the
- 22:40be all of their industry.
- 22:42That's great.
- 22:44But there's a humble way to approach that.
- 22:47And I get tired of people that think
- 22:49they can just do whatever they want.
- 22:50So I don't tolerate that.
- 22:53Number 13, build systems worthy of your growth.
- 22:57Structure creates stability.
- 23:00Structure creates stability.
- 23:01I found that even when you're starting out
- 23:04and it's lonely, your structure will create and
- 23:07build more.
- 23:08You may not bring hundreds of people on,
- 23:10but you will attract the right people, the
- 23:13right relationships, the right business relationships, the right
- 23:17opportunities because of your alignment, your energy.
- 23:22Number 14, feed what you want to keep
- 23:26alive.
- 23:27Attention determines the outcome.
- 23:29I've said before, wherever our thoughts go, that's
- 23:34where the energy is going to flow.
- 23:36Let me say that again.
- 23:37Wherever our thoughts go, that's where the energy
- 23:39is going to flow.
- 23:41Number 15, upgrade your standards today.
- 23:44Raise what you accept from yourself right now.
- 23:49Soon as you do that, you're going to
- 23:52notice a difference in communication with other people.
- 23:58Number 16, stop returning to expired patterns.
- 24:01Old habits destroy new progress, unfortunately, guys.
- 24:05But yet some people still go back into
- 24:08those old habits.
- 24:10Why?
- 24:10I'm going to tell you why.
- 24:12Force of habit, but because they're comfortable.
- 24:17And when we get uncomfortable, that's when the
- 24:21magic happens.
- 24:22That's when success starts to rear its head.
- 24:26And as long as those patterns stay, success
- 24:29remains.
- 24:30Number 17, live as if your future matters.
- 24:34Act like it's already real.
- 24:37Act like it's already here.
- 24:41And that will create a belief system in
- 24:43your mind and body.
- 24:44Very important.
- 24:46Number 18, let renewal touch everything.
- 24:50Partial change creates weak results.
- 24:53Let renewal touch every part of your life.
- 24:57Because of partial change, it's weak.
- 25:00What happens if we're building a new structure?
- 25:04And let's just say there are four legs
- 25:08on the structure.
- 25:09And we decide that we're going to reuse
- 25:13three of those legs from an older structure.
- 25:19And we just replace one weak structure.
- 25:23Those are the legs might have been used.
- 25:25They might be decayed.
- 25:28Might have not only lost their, let's say,
- 25:32strength, but they've also lost their appeal.
- 25:36And they might look bad.
- 25:37Of course, it can be painted.
- 25:39But again, don't do things partially.
- 25:41Do them completely.
- 25:42And I'm not saying you need to do
- 25:44everything today.
- 25:45What I'm saying is that you need to
- 25:47apply this to all areas of your life.
- 25:49So if you're saying right now that, John,
- 25:51I say no to things, don't just say
- 25:53no in business.
- 25:54Say no in your personal life.
- 25:56When you say no, you actually get to
- 25:59say yes to yourself.
- 26:00So don't say, well, gee, I'm going to
- 26:01say no, but I'm only going to do
- 26:03it in business.
- 26:05What good is that going to do?
- 26:06It's going to help 50% of your
- 26:08life or 30% of your life, depending.
- 26:12Number 19, guys, keep your spirit clean and
- 26:14your habits sharp.
- 26:16Clarity builds strength.
- 26:18I said this before.
- 26:19Clarity builds strength.
- 26:21Number 20, new beginnings require new discipline.
- 26:24Consistency defines success.
- 26:27Number 21, act like you believe in better
- 26:29confidence is shown through the actions you put
- 26:33forward.
- 26:33Number 22, sustain the shift.
- 26:37Do not fall back, whoa, into comfort.
- 26:39I know people want to do that.
- 26:41And remember, the next chapter of your life,
- 26:43it deserves effort, real effort.
- 26:47Number 24, live from the lesson, not just
- 26:52the emotion.
- 26:53Apply what you've learned, keep the lesson, and
- 26:57throw any bad emotions out.
- 27:02Learn from the lesson.
- 27:04Number 25, protect your peace like progress depends
- 27:07on it.
- 27:08Number 26, make renewal practical.
- 27:12Turn ideas into daily systems.
- 27:14Number 27, turn inspiration into structure.
- 27:18Discipline builds real results.
- 27:20So what are you waiting for?
- 27:21Start eliciting it.
- 27:23Number 28, let your life look different on
- 27:25purpose.
- 27:26Change should be visible.
- 27:28It's not hidden.
- 27:29Number 29, keep choosing what restores you because
- 27:34consistency builds momentum.
- 27:39I have our last point, which is live
- 27:42like renewal is real because it is, guys,
- 27:45it is real.
- 27:47I think that's important to understand.
- 27:50And in closing, here's the shift you need
- 27:52to make right now.
- 27:54Stop waiting to feel ready.
- 27:56Stop waiting for proof.
- 27:57Stop waiting for the perfect moment.
- 28:00It's never going to happen.
- 28:01Thing like the change already happened because real
- 28:04transformation is not something you talk about.
- 28:07It is something you demonstrate daily.
- 28:09When your actions align with your future, your
- 28:12life begins to reflect it.
- 28:14You gain clarity, you build momentum, you create
- 28:17results, and over time, you become an undeniable
- 28:20proof of your growth as a leader.
- 28:25You're not waiting for renewal, guys.
- 28:26You're living it.

- 28:30life right now by visiting BelieveandYouAchieve.com.
- 28:33Take care, everyone, and put these practices into
- 28:35your life now.
- 29:18Another great meeting here at the Franklin Lakes
- 29:21Chamber of Commerce.
- 29:27Again, we're all about building high-quality connections
- 29:31and relationships before any transactions even are ever
- 29:39considered.
- 29:42I know many of you go to a
- 29:44meeting so you can dump cards.
- 29:46We're not that kind of chamber.
- 29:49We're about relationships.
- 29:51We're the Franklin Lakes Chamber, and proud of
- 29:53it.
- 29:59The Franklin Lakes Chamber, Chamber of Commerce,
- 30:14built on high-quality relationships and integrity, not
- 30:21just a business card.
- 32:23Well, I got up very early in the
- 32:26morning at 4 a.m., went to Dunkin'
- 32:29Donuts, put a nice spread out, and even
- 32:33took some of the last dollars I had
- 32:35in my pocket.
- 32:37In fact, I was even 87 cents short,
- 32:39which I promised to give back to the
- 32:40guy.
- 32:41He said, don't worry about it.
- 32:42I still will pay it back.
- 32:45I've been sitting here since 5.30, and
- 32:49not one person showed up.
