- 0:02I'm here, I'm laughing as you're saying it. I think I'm probably down 10-12% from my portfolio. Exactly. So some people are even down negatively. Some people that don't join like last two months are down directly.
- 0:31Like all the gains have been what? Have been wiped off. I know your portfolio. I know, I'm like, okay. You know, it's harder now. Definitely, it's harder now. But it's not bothered. 400,000 you need to override it. Do you know how much is that? At an average cost of 155 million. It is down by 10%. That's like it's losing an amount. 15 million naira to the market. Some people don't even have 15 million naira in their portfolios. Do you think it's bothered? Come on, guys.
- 1:00I need to teach you how to want to be. So, I need to teach you this. I thought, okay, who was here when I spoke about emotional, psychological, what was that topic again? Who can recollect? All of you are not even practicing what I taught you. It's just like we are not coming to do class. You are not applying it in your real life.
- 1:36Yes, I spoke about market cycles. Yes, psychology of something. What's the topic? If you have not watched that topic and you are new, go and watch that video. Somebody has already collected. You don't need to start searching the group for videos. Psychology of this, this, this. Go and watch that video. I even shared a book. I even shared a book. Look for that book. It's still on the same platform. Do you know how many things I've shared?
- 2:05All of you, I'm not bothered. I've never opened my long-term portfolio. I know that I will. I might be down. Yeah, I know I'm down six figures. So, I'm not bothered. The only sign, and we'll talk about it today, I've not been able to sit my ass down to write that article. And you guys are not motivating me, especially the WhatsApp folks. Very soon, so start moving some telegram serious-minded people that can contribute meaningfully well. We don't want crowd.
- 2:38on the whatsapp forum i was still going to look um remove more people on the whatsapp forum because we removed them and hazel has been busy removing people yes um if they are unable they can join you even the telling round guys are even more serious than you guys than the whatsapp so guys i'm here if i i've not sold my other one bits i'm even having more
- 3:07So, my dream, all the stocks that you think that maybe I might have sold, I will tell you if I have sold anything. My long-term stocks, I'm not going to call the remaining. You guys only know of Aradale. Maybe, yes, only Aradale. And Champion Beauty. Not touch one unit. Even say I'm even more champion. The reversal will be here when Champion starts. But let's, let me know of my team. Let me hear your lamentations.
- 3:38for those that are crying let me hear let me hear what you guys are doing tell me about your portfolio it's not every time oh my portfolio is doing well today now i want to know how you are handling your emotions i want to know how you are doing today now you know every other days i've always everybody's always bullish um my portfolio someone will just say um the person will claim it's true um senko i want to thank you for all you have been doing i will not yet thank you again though let me just let me just be telling
- 4:07how humans think so i want to thank you for what you and the team have been doing and how you guys have been you know immensely to us then i said okay though you don't don't thank me because you see a serious correction i will not know if that thank you will still come down the person will not go forward and say oh my portfolio not really bad i've been up by 60 to 70 overall and um
- 4:38i'm happy that um the portfolio has been doing fantastically well my ara though yes he's doing well i'm up by 200 percent start calling him investors um i have a question about maybe one company that he wants to buy or she wants to buy and he wants to just pick on my brain um what do you think about this this is this is this i want to hear the thank you now let me this is the time i want to know who that will tell me thank you
- 5:12But it's okay, it's okay if you don't tell me thank you. Alright, let me go, let me go. One minute, one minute, one minute. Yeah, good afternoon. Yeah, so it's been a tough period. My long-term portfolio, I'm not even bothered, right? But then my short-term portfolio,
- 5:39I'm exposed to Nako and Aradale among other stocks, like maybe two or three other stocks. And I was actually looking forward to, I had a project in this month, which was my target month, right? And then the correction came. So it was a tough one. I checked my portfolio and I saw that I was actually down by more than six figures. So what I'm going to do is I'm just planning to hold on.
- 6:05Next week, I'm a certain salary and then I'll just use that to still buy more and then be patient for my project which I'm looking to use the money for. So I think that's my plan. I'm going to cash out, I'm not going to sell, I'm going to be patient, postpone my project, use my salary to average down on maybe Aradia or Nako and then wait to maybe market correct. Yeah, that's my own plan. Okay, that's beautiful, that's beautiful.
- 6:47The past couple of, I would say the past one month has been quite interesting. Like I always say, I'm still very new in the market. A lot of things are my first time experience actually in the market. So one thing I started doing four weeks, six weeks ago was to start consolidating. So I started
- 7:13you know nobody can really
- 7:42You might think the market has peaked and then you sell and the market continues to tear up and run. So I just want to say that this period has been, we talk about it a lot, but I think it's nice to live through what you've talked about. This past couple of weeks has been us living through the experience of what we've talked about, like when the market comes and we don't pack.
- 8:08But then, you know, when the bear market actually comes, right, when there's a correction, are you actually packing or are you scared? Are you actually saying those things you see you're going to do or you're just watching on the sidelines, right? And it's also very interesting about psychology. Everybody wants to buy when the market is going up, but nobody wants to buy when the market is going down, right? And it's kind of counterintuitive, right? You know, because, you know, unless the macro or something that's achieved, right, you know, shouldn't that be when you're supposed to be...
- 8:50I've been very active in the market, I've been buying up MTN, I've been buying up the companies, I've been using this advantage to rack up my units.
- 9:04And due to I'm really praying for like this, God should give me more dry powder, right? So I can execute before the market starts to go back up again. So that's the thing I said. Beautiful, beautiful. There's a reason why I'm opening this MTN's thing. And I'm seeing how some retailers, how some retailers have been silly selling their cheap MTN to the company back. I don't know. Like, I don't know. I don't know how people are thinking, right? But, anyway.
- 9:31go ahead and two more persons i need to hear this i need ladies i want to hear how your portfolio has been tell us tell us it's not every time i move my book i want to thank you don't thank me i know that you might not thank me but tell us what have you been doing yeah good afternoon can i speak right right right first things i'll say thank you thank you for everything and i'll and i'll be honest my portfolio
- 10:04honestly i don't think there's any red i can't i can't think i can't think it can get any red at this point so i have no lie short-term portfolio long-term portfolio in fact the long term has been holding well honestly it has really held and honestly out of there is what is holding me but in the end despite the whole red all that has been going on through my mind is ah when can i get dry powder to get more because in truth and truth yes we are going through a correction that one i know
- 10:38After my time actually being in this group, I know that yes, we're going through a correction. As such, I know that yes, after this time, it will shoot up. But I've used up my dread pad and now I'm just waiting for more to come. Because we know everything comes in stages. And this one will come and go. So, I'm only using this to encourage others that they should still hold strong. Thank you. Hello.
- 11:09Thank you, good afternoon everyone. Good afternoon. Pardon my voice, I'm a bit down in health. Hello, can you hear me? Yeah, I said hope you're treating yourself like hope you're fine. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yes, that's right. So, you say we would say thank you, we would.
- 11:35i know the correction is happening but it kind of shook me regularly a bit i saw it some days ago it went down below the right issue so i was like ah let me play fast one on the right issue way down to 0.93 and i went to get instead of going for the right issue i went to load up more only for it to go down again the next day i was like ah that wasn't smart
- 12:06But I don't regret it. I just don't have dry powder to go in again. I think it's below 0.8 now. But I'm still holding. I think the initiate and tantalizer is holding my portfolio for me. But I've refused to really look at it generally. Naimeth too, I'm down on Naimeth. But the other, the tantalizer and the initiate are doing well for me.
- 12:35So yeah, we keep loading out and load more when we have the drive back. Thank you again for what you do. Well done, well done, well done. Okay, so that's it. Anyways, I'm so happy that people are still active. Who is marking their attendance? Because normally before now would have been like up to 160 or 110, 120. Who is marking their attendance?
- 13:07I need one more lady to speak again. One more lady. Then we start. Just one more lady. Let it not only be guys. Let me hear the women, you know, how women are, how you guys are handling their emotions and every other thing. Definitely. It's looking like most ladies are not going to speak up. Hello? Yeah, hello.
- 13:40Hi, alright, let me say something quickly. Personally, my emotions are just fine because my portfolio is up. Most of my stock I bought in November, December last year. So what I'm actually doing now is averaging up. So it's like reducing my gains. But I'm trying not to look at the percentages.
- 14:09So, I have a few quality stocks holding me up well, you know, the Aradale, Cornhole, MTN, you know, like the backbone of my, I invested in the backbone of my portfolio, those strong stocks, you know, and I have them holding me up. So that's what's holding me up for now. And like everybody else, I wish I had more dry powder, you know, this is a really nice time to load up. So my only problem is the more I load up, the more my,
- 14:38gain zari yeah i get that so what you should do what you should do is um it's not it's not like rotating on or everything um it's just you're sure that you know that you have the target units that you want to buy for a particular company the one that you know you're not going to like you don't want to have um you don't have the target unit for it but you know there's a particular price point that you want to exit at and i don't think it should is wise for you to um load up on those ones
- 15:08load up on your convictions and your target unit you have a target unit now conviction means that you already have your target units and you know that this company is going to do well in the next three to five years that you're looking at um rather than and companies that you know that will not dilute you any moments like um that won't dilute you like every moment they are in the market to raise capital every moment they are in the market to raise capital even despite other habits
- 15:36um huge um debt problems but they are already showing signs that they are paying off they are aggressively paying off their debts without coming to the market to raise capital if the if i drive it tries that that stock will go back to 500 now so about the whole so the only one because they they found a way of doing a structured loan you know dollar loan and so so there are ways even when if you ask uac
- 16:05us is going to 500 i told you guys right we have already hit our first target okay how much again how much did it go to like first target was was 150 i told you guys there we got almost 200 or almost 200. so second target is 350. and their final target is 500. that company is a one trillion naira company whether i will whether you like it or not would it be a good time to enter now
- 16:34No, wait for serious correction for you. I can't be buying you at this price. I'm the one, I'm not crazy. I've given you guys, I've given everybody a scoop. I will not buy you at this price. You see the way Arada is coming down, how many people expected? Yeah, we expected correction on Arada, but not this bad, you know, because of this liquidity, cash counts and every other thing. I'm going to talk about that. I'm really pissed.
- 17:02even though i like him dangote i love him his industrialization he made me believe that they still open africa you know but some people say oh they still come out that government is happening but yeah i don't know but yes there are this thing but he he kept doing these things and at least but at the end of the day um him to hear some things that we need him maybe that's what has not told the story properly and there are still some kind of things that he need to remove
- 17:32Anyway, that's another story for another day. Again, today I'll be talking more on portfolio, on stocks, companies. The truth is, Nigeria, our macro, that's a lot, has not changed. The macros have not changed. Investors are still bringing in more money. You look at the FDI, go to the FDI, how do you analyze a company holistically?
- 18:06um i don't know how many of you have read so i'm already going into today's summer how many of you have read um the asi article that i mean i wrote very long i told you because i saw emotions flying all around i couldn't think again because when i'm writing on i always so there's a way i i do my screen that's only for those people that know me um okay so i divide my screen i divide my whatsapp
- 18:37then i look at the charts then i look at everything like that is going on and i'm writing from my head looking out plus whatever that's going i'm happening in the market i do all those things and you know when i've seen a lot of messages i get distracted so i just have to stop and i just cancel my drafts and maybe come back again whenever we're silent but i still saw people on the whatsapp platform um a lot of um panicking
- 19:09I saw somebody selling her, she sold her regalings, so somebody that was believing, that was shouting, and I always observed, even years, thousands of people, I observed, this person on WhatsApp always shouting, regalings, regalings, regalings, to the moon. All of a sudden, she just said, ah, I've sold my regalings, so she told everybody on the WhatsApp phone, I wanted to ask about, I didn't want to just spoil her mind. Again, she's exited at a very minimal, now you are paying your broker.
- 19:38you're paying everybody and you saw that they lost i didn't want to say too much and i like so you can't so you can't handle losses and it shouldn't be you shouldn't be trading the i mean you shouldn't be investing in the equity market people will tell you oh long time long term never invest the money that you can afford to lose so forget that thing that people are investing one billion now because they want um this thing i'm not saying that you don't invest in what you can afford to do
- 20:08But that statement is an adonium. Statement of, can I say, fallacy. Yes, never invest in what you can afford to lose. That's for a poor man. Let me not talk. The poor people can say what I do not say. But there are people that invest. But the truth is, for you as a young person or old people, I mean, old person,
- 20:37and you know that you rely on your nine to five income don't go and borrow money to invest never it doesn't end if they risk yes you can be a good risk except in this terrain if it was in the us i know that okay the system works so you could walk down and you have a good credit score you can do all those kind of things and you can always get 95 to pay down on those loans but especially here in africa don't borrow at which bank will give you crazy amount of money i mean you know
- 21:19As the case may be. So ask yourself this question and you say okay how what is happening and um
- 21:41as the as the case may be all all what i'm just trying to just like let you know is this is just a fish so let's keep one let's let's talk about the asr let's look at the market this is more or less like what actually pulls down the airs i will actually pull down the side and uh why has the market been the way it is and what do we expect uh what should we be seeing um from the market let's be back to this
- 22:13Let's look at where's an NGX. So let's quickly go to how NGX explains the weighting of the indices. So let's click on the indices. Let's learn about it. What are the things? Hopefully NGX will work in Jerusalem. Where's the NGX ASI? Where's the offshore index? Okay, six. Hello. Can everybody hear me? Yes. Can I hear you?
- 22:49So, let's just talk about the NGF's offshore index and why I always track the NGF's offshore index. There's a reason why we track the offshore index. Now, the offshore index tracks the general movement of what? It tracks the general movement of all listed equities on the Nigerian exchange, including those on the growth board, regardless of what? Capitalization.
- 23:19I'm looking for a document. There's a document in JSD and as to how they started this thing. It just came in. It just flashed. Sorry, guys. Alright, sorry. Sorry, man. The person I'm supposed to have a meeting with just arrived, but the punishment is she will watch me as I'm having this session. Anyways, let's go ahead. The Usher industry tracks this, right? Tracks the movements of, you know,
- 24:09all listed equities and yeah um there's a waiting there's a waiting factor that's the angels give to you know when you're looking at the top uh um so you don't expect the same waiting of an austin or um
- 24:39To affect the market. Now, what's the market worth today? Who can tell me what our total current destiny is? What's it worth today? Because NGS, I also noticed something from NGS too. When market is not doing well, they will not post statistics again. They will be telling us another thing. When market is not doing well, when market is doing well, they will not post everything. You can see how they are very, very, very silly.
- 25:11So, can everybody see my screen? Can you see this thing? I'm showing you guys. Hello. Yes, yes. So, this is the table of all, so I can't be scrolling down. I'm going down. You can see value, the volume, and the data of the trade. So, you can see how much they traded. Imagine Academy, even when it is minus 10%, on Friday, see what it traded, 806,000 naira.
- 25:39many of you have this movie that i listed assets of 750 million this one africa 21 million our market is our market is shan look at so you don't expect them to come and give you the same weight it's even the powerful that has crazy waiting look at how many shares i was traded right and 300 how many shares let me see total trades was 346 straight and the volume of trades is a
- 26:08volume of trade is uh for poor food is there so you can see better glass you can see um even the champion bureau it was even four million jesus even his chance even did 75 million so again that's why it's very good to just come to the ngs and just come and see what is happening i'm looking for where's that there are there's a number one show let's see what are the traders so you can see our idea they are not mixed
- 26:39Who can read this? 4 billion. 4 what? 4 billion. That was what I had already traded on Friday. And total what? Volume. And I've never seen that. I had already traded in a single day, 3 million units. So we are still going down on Monday. We are still going down. So, at the end of the day, I was trying, okay, let's look at MCN. Let's look for MCN.
- 27:18so i'm coming there's somewhere i'm going to oh i'm guessing so uh so let's go back to i think mtl is number five so there's not now you can see now these are you guys these are real g's what is one two three two hundred and ninety three million only god knows who are who are buying for now can you see what mtl traded 1.5 billion 1.5 billion so when they are giving waiting to
- 27:49these things so just imagine and let's just look at the top advances yeah we'll look at the top canals right you need inshore you need to show people well so the top advances uh we had um people that did report i'm looking at uh let's look at the a to z so i don't know so um
- 28:48Then we now go through the ASI. Who are the stores that pull down ASI? Number one, I'm looking for the ones that has the table. So let's just look at the table and ask the market capitalization. Which one can I use? I don't want to share my email. What can I use? So this is now, I'm looking for the one that has the...
- 29:23this thing and the it's supposed to be a to z i don't know why it's not showing let's see let's see the market report market cap is 150 trillion on friday 150 where did you get that this is the weekly market report yes okay good thank you so the market reports all out around will you give me all the complaints i just there's some there's something i'm looking for
- 30:06that has all the complaints um total you know so let's just assume okay let's not as you let's say that the market cap for equity markets i mean total market cap for our market is one if you say 150 trillion yes okay so if you say 150 trillion um i'm looking for something i don't know where i don't know why ngs has filtered us
- 30:44who that like that who has that price list uh okay let me just look for it in my email and share with you is it uh profits and uh this thing no no the the market prices and the price list i don't need that price okay okay okay let me stop sharing my screen because i'm coming i'll share back with you so hold on give me um what's that okay let me see
- 31:48so okay good um so you guys can see the uh price list right so this is what i was looking out for now let's look at the prices right so this is everything uh for the price list so you can see how are they all you can see the volume and see the value so how they will go how they close and every other thing
- 32:16nigeria is very funny they are supposed to have their market capitalization anyways all i was trying to say is now if you look at the asr and um what ds has done so any small move now if you look at this okay anybody if you look at questions we look at um what they call it again
- 32:50i am companies in the category of if you are above above um one trillion now you can actually shake the air side so if you do okay but i think it's already increasing so if you do a 1 trillion over 150 trillion right do a 1 trillion over 153 what do you think you get so 1 1 trillion over 150 trillion what's that so okay you you
- 33:20you can only shake the market by 0.00 so you can move the markets by just 0.01 percent and that's uh okay so um i'll say from let's let's use from 5 trillion from 5 trillion and above so if you're watching 5 trillion you can actually shake the air side like definitely
- 33:53so you can ship the asr by 0.03 percent you can watch 5 trillion and i already did that just already moving that down only already that went down on friday and the market was down by 0.5 i mean yeah and before others joined and market closed and you saw the asr doing 0.66 when i was down i had a loan because i have this water over 10 trillion i mean
- 34:23you can see the market the market shaking why because an heavy weight just what hit the asr now why is the asr um why is it that the big bigger boys are the ones you know pulling out the sr because of their waiting like i'm sorry because of their market capitalization um if you don't have a bigger market club there's no point somebody like uh was it wasn't him so like um
- 34:51of the last or all matter they can never even if they are meeting 10 10 every day even for the next one year they will not move the sr they will move the sr they just continue to meet like 10 10 they won't move the sr they won't so at the end of the day this is very important to understand the market can be very sweet and fine and the heavyweights does fall before the market can be very
- 35:22um bullish for this meat market you know the meat cap stocks and just few asi and and just few asi i mean i said just usa and just few of these um tango testaments they just qualify and party for everybody you know and all this so these are things that i want you guys to take cognizance of um that's happening in the market so at the end of the day
- 35:56At the end of the day, we do this and we put them into perspective. So now, what's the next thing? We saw, we all saw how the market has changed. And what do we expect? What do we expect? What do I expect? Now, what I expect is, we continue to see this because this is a bearish moment. See, maybe June, I mean July, beginning of July, I'm not saying there will be funds coming.
- 36:25now we saw how like i don't know how many of you were on our stream yesterday uh charles broke it down i still even also said it's true i said it's true um on my um timeline um as to how dangote cements you know uh and i said that dangote refinery um destroyed or let me not use the word destroyed to calculate the liquidity of the equity market which disrupted the flow so definitely when you when people wants to tell
- 36:55or when people so um and how many of you noticed something i just want to bring this one up the dollar the end and naira to dollar so there was uh you know there was pressure on denier so uh there was pressure on denier and uh we started seeing um you know that means my thesis were right that people were actually selling their securities they were selling their securities to fund
- 37:23their private placement transaction and the private placement transaction was collected in dollars not in naira techniques was collected in dollars not in naira the pp and again for your primary placement to be priced in at the five cents so definitely nobody will go and call in naira for me nobody will have that um strength or time to to or master to to be doing conversion or no conversion you know kind of thing
- 37:51so at the end of the day so nobody's going to do them um nobody's going to do that for you so we saw them move and um currently market is painting will those liquidity come back no this is gone forever we need new money we need new funds to come in and um you know make stabilized things we are with them and you are you guys know that there's pension guys pension pension companies where
- 38:21for us to go take up the participation in the private business. So if their board does not approve for them for new money or for some pension funds, I mean the new pension money, like the money that they have for them to use, that they should use whatever is security in the market, you know what it means? It means that some of the pension companies might have been selling in order for them to work.
- 38:51to take off that not that some some of them to to go pick up the private placements and fund their private placement of transactions um so again think about that think these are just uh ways or you can see that already happening in the market also again there is also a macro scare about um i said it i'll keep on saying it i will consider the article
- 39:20so the macro scale of the credit swap but i don't want to call you guys you know um about that box should anything go wrong and this government is a government that they are not transparent that's number one we don't know what actually they are doing they keep telling lies the people the citizens don't trust them and um they took they took a swap without even the approval of the na empty nuts they did that i don't know where in the world that um laws don't work
- 39:50actually in the country, and that's for the bigger guys, but it works for more men. They did a $1.5 billion swap. Again, it will be interesting to see. The headline was, oh, it's to refinance the expensive debt. Well, if you're not productive, or if you're not doing something, if you're not generating any more in revenue, there's no way you can pay down your debt.
- 40:19there's no way that's just the honest truth and i've told you guys again you remember when i said these things i said it's what we're feeling that this is not going to be good and this thing it's not going to be good and hey um and like i told you guys i'm not and i'm not meeting any word these signs are there these guys are these guys are struggling right these guys are struggling yeah
- 40:48These guys are struggling to pay their loans. And this is the same. How come they didn't want to even collect again before for electricity? Who can remind them? Connect the dots. And then Abu Dhabi came in, a bank in Dubai, said, OK, we can help you, but we'll do a swap. We'll do a credit swap for you. And the credit swaps are derivatives, you know, contracts to an agreement between the electors.
- 41:15How much does he want to collect again from World Bank? Who can remind you? Who can remember? Hello? Who can remember? Am I always talking to myself? I think it's $5 billion. Thank you very much. He wanted to collect $5 billion. And guess what? Guess what? So, guess what? He wanted to collect $5 billion from World Bank, which would have been easier. Just give you your normal interests.
- 41:56The interest rate that they are going to pay and all those things, their terms and conditions for all those things. For what? They want to collect for to buy. And till date, these people have not told us because they know we are smart citizens. We are all smart. We can punch these things and ask ourselves these questions. Is this deal? And who even taught our people advanced finance like to just go and collect this kind of thing?
- 42:26because you are desperate and somebody told me that oh i am very sure that the advice source and you know all these bankers are very especially investment bankers like us we sell we can send you to your early grave i'm so sorry but that's how we're trained to do our job we'll tell you we put the number how nice and neat it is and tell you how you can actually make money and this this this and i'll tell you how this will help you and aid you and at the end of the day
- 42:55When you now enter the contract And should Nigeria just default Because once we are unable to meet up our obligation Within the stipulated period There will be a margin call A margin call that will enable That will make us to go and pay another $336,000 I mean $336,000,000 What am I saying? Over $300,000,000 From a 1.5 And it is a 5
- 43:24billion dollars contract these are things that can send it for a country any money signals and now they already what bank is telling foreign investors foreign investors are watching they will bring money now then when you've now become um like ghana larry ghana don't read about ghana before this new person just came me now and is trying to stabilize things they will tell you oh ghana
- 43:54can not default. Ghana never defaulted any law until when they did. Some people committed suicide. And I was telling guys the story about Ghana law where they brought the president into the Koi Club. But nobody knew up to today. But people that know, know. And I told them, yeah, it wasn't the Koi Club. All the big guys, all the big assailants, they bring back the Koi Club. Come and tell us how.
- 44:24you are going to pay us back our money i just going heading to that start trajectory if you had your your i used to call abu baka shake out on this but i will not call him on twitter before they call and pick me up but it's just a joke anyways it's not a joke this same guy came to tell us again that nigeria is not anymore you know what that means he said nigeria is not taxing in north this is the same people that told us
- 45:02this is i'm just talking about the macros i'm not talking about politics i'm thinking about what whatever politics nigeria deserve what they get anything that you guys see and you guys don't take out and you're seeing you're hearing from my mouth that these things are not favorable and it can affect the economy any small shock while going back and we can lose all our money because of i mean market consent existing
- 45:30I don't want us to go back to that Buhari time again. Everything is coming good for us. We are back to 50. And the 50 index has been what? Has been priced into the market. Has been priced into the market. So I don't expect that there will be anyone kind of significant movements in the market. I don't expect it. Because the big boys have always been here. Since I've been telling you guys about foreign transactions, right?
- 45:59and i've been seeing their footprints they've always been here so guys we're in for a big mess if should anything go wrong and i'm praying nothing should go wrong because i'm not ready to start um advising people on what to do and everything because of our government just one bad policy we also november and we did not get clarity on taxes and everything i saw how people were
- 46:35you know people were scared and see look at how people were panic selling that the answer lost five percent in a single day i will not forget that thousand it wasn't us where is it where's that move this is it this november big move this can you see this red candle five points one five point four zero four percent before one layer came back and we saved the day the following day five percent
- 47:13this sweet red market was going down until one day one one block tuesday when the big boys were tired of doing it small small then they started throwing everything into the market he saw that i marked it zone let me mark it down i will never forget that day five point zero four percent air size losing that on a single day i don't know i don't want to have that kind of move every and all these places that have marked
- 47:48we are very important zones all these places that are marked and you can see that this chart has been i've been here for over two years now three years three three to four years old you could see it's every time and all because of these two things that are affecting the market number one like i said why are we don't don't listen to anybody telling you because of your reality no everything will always happen anytime any
- 48:20you know a reason will always happen when a company acquire another company definitely we always expect a relation right of that particular company or some people will tell you about what is a deep or correction i don't understand is it different correction not the same thing what is correction what is it or what is it okay we know what a retracement is people use things that they don't understand these are technical analysis and these are technical terms
- 48:49i will use and you always see me say do you know what the retracement is the retracement is when price moves like when it goes to the next response and you know i'm broke above that resistance though then goes back to retest resistance resistance so not flipping it into a support zone please know we are listening to on on x or on anywhere
- 49:23i don't know on whatsapp or telegram what we are seeing here in the market is liquidity moving out of the market to what peaked and united as over for the market because if one was actually moving to the market and this should be seen the rotation to another sector right right all right we should be seeing the moving
- 49:51um companies doing well we should be seeing some bounces over this company definitely that's the way we'll see that okay the rotation is actually going into those there is no rotation money was going out of the market so again it's very important to understand what moves the market at least today you know that even now now there are other ones that can move the market the banks that's the fugaz like again like i said above one trillion you can move the markets if you hit one trillion
- 50:25then yes you are part of but very soon to be higher like i think it's already even higher but let's just say one trillion you can hit you can move your arm is one trillion in market capitalization the likes of nascon naku and what do you call it all those guys i'm not saying that i want you to know i'm not i'm just like oh again then you're looking at the food guys guys can move the market even when my bank too with because it's a what about one trillion
- 50:57Do you understand? These are guys, Zoe Jitiko, Zenit, who all feel it. I hope they will not even be one children. Who all feel it? Who all feel it? Not badly. Can never be badly. So, we are going to feel it. As the case may be. So, one again. So, what's the next thing? Like I said.
- 51:42So, it's not everything. Let me see which other companies I have not mentioned. So, International Beauty, you feel it. Because this company too is trillionaires of Daira. They are over 2. something trillion, right? We all feel it. I had there we felt it last week. Our market is going to open it again. Another serious global good for some people. You are not talking about Nemet and all these ones. All these guys here cannot market all the ones.
- 52:14then the fugaz yes all of them can move the market then um go again so these are guys that you should pay more attention to when they are deep because these are guys that can change the status quo of the market they will move again if another drops again another 10 tomorrow which i'm expecting is going to drop another 10 percent um we should be seeing the asi
- 52:39I told you, we are going back to this 223, meaning that ASI will be losing double digits tomorrow. From its previous all-time high, we'll be down by even another 10% tomorrow. I expect that we should be down by 10%. ASI will be losing 10.17%. That's trading at $228,000.
- 53:09But if it's that bad, maybe ASI can lose another 2%. So add another 2% to this. Because this particular day, that was on a Wednesday, the ASI lost 2.35%. Then lost again, on Thursday lost 0.64%. 6% so we expect that there should be a bounce. Now the bounce should quickly happen.
- 53:38The balance should quickly happen around the 2 to 3 before the September move. You know that anything that you are doing, maybe you are not doing for short term, you want to extract as much as possible liquidity, then that's good. But again, when September comes, people that want to say that these people are going to participate in Dangote Refinery, I hope they won't be shocked. You know I keep on telling you guys.
- 54:10Anyway, I'm not going to talk about the refinery thing again because it's already, it's already, it's already, can I say, I don't know what to say again to people because people don't listen. And this is it. So, another liquidity again going to go out of the market when we talk about this. Also, again, what do I expect? What do I see? So, one clarity is, one thing is, Moendangute is...
- 54:40listing is over then um as you see some kind of just some slight stability back to the market then um this credit swap thing i'm going to be watching it um the major thing now after september now into election mode election will be done in january um hopefully we don't pray that um but with the way it's going um i'm already getting worried that um some things
- 55:09I'm happy with this election, but I don't think that thing does not, before I was thinking that things would be peaceful, anything that they want to do, they should do. It's going to be a peaceful election. We hope that it should be a peaceful election, but everybody that are watching, when you know that it's no longer peaceful, you know, some people might be scared and you don't wait for people to be scared. When you have seen the signs, it's better to de-risk. If you are in poverty, you can always come back. Capital preservation is better than not having anything, just so you know.
- 55:38So, I'm not saying you should sell. I'm not saying you should take any losses. The decision is yours. But, watch the terrain. Political instability is one thing that you don't want to joke with. Political blunder is why you don't want to wait for somebody to say, oh, let it happen first. Like I said yesterday, what did I say? I said,
- 56:11You don't sell when everybody is selling. So, you don't sell or you don't buy when everybody is buying. You buy when people have not seen it. When people are not talking about it. When people are not interested about it. When you are buying when everybody is buying, you have missed it. When you are buying when everybody is, I mean when you are selling when everybody is selling, you have missed when you are supposed to sell.
- 56:54You should have that at the back of your mind too. This election, I want you everybody to pay more, very more, and close attention to it. So, any question? And if you want me to talk about, before I move on, I think question, any question? Yeah, one thing from my side is, from your side of things, I know we've talked about Marcos and his new major.
- 57:37immediate red flag for macro. I think everybody's keep an eye on debt. I mean, everybody's keep an eye on debt, right? But that's not a huge immediate concern at this point, right? I think the more immediate concerns are like inflation, interest rates at this point, right? And after that, cost of capital. But looking at technicals, right? And I know we honestly that we cannot time the bottom, right? And I think you've also touched on this, right? I was slightly distracted.
- 58:04um what are the what are the signs to look out for right at least on the technicals right for when the market can we can expect a rebound what are the things we see that suggest that you know uh this division this is dying out and i'm probably going to go into an accumulation of things right what what can we expect to see very very good question so what are we expecting to see we'll start seeing
- 58:33you know when everybody when the news starts reporting bearishness of the markets how the market is really dying and everywhere that's that's your plan to buy when everybody's talking about the creationists how people have lost money how people have um you know um how people are um people making just of people investing in the engineering market that's the best time to buy you know and um
- 59:04Again, from the technical aspect, you are already a technical analyst. You start seeing signs on the chart, some kind of patterns. You start seeing it, consolidations going on. You can even start seeing it on the other book, why the big boys are not trying to move the price. But now that will change it. They quickly reverse that law because now everybody can see what you are doing.
- 59:33so is either you are going to be buying it below five five thousand means that you want to be burning money on average and on um on transaction costs and fees and commission so that will no longer be so we cannot see everybody's hand if you want to dump now you can dump actually so there's nothing like you want to be 1990 k trades on this thing
- 1:00:00but for now we are still seeing the 1990 k traits it's a series of 90k trades it means actual money has been exchanged to buy in 90 000 um units uh trade like series of 90 000. so we start seeing interesting moves as to how um you know the big boys are moving in terms of how we saw it remember last year we were seeing that
- 1:00:31there was everything was always in the most in the value and most value traded um and price was not moving that much because it was in an accumulation zone and i was telling people why i even put my my reputation on the line i said if i rather does not get to one thousand just call me an idiot i i told somebody i said you're tired of selling like just because i saw this move
- 1:01:00I could see it was very clear and very distant. Now we are seeing that for NASKON. We are seeing some 200 trades around 197, 197 and distant. What do you think is going to happen to NASKON when those moves are over? Yes, somebody is selling and everything. Somebody is actually buying. So you know that when that accumulation is done and the hours are already tight, somebody can just come and spoil the pattern. That's it. Every day our NASKON is already doing.
- 1:01:5910, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10,
- 1:02:06so again when people become bearish that's when you should become a buyer you know in in key stocks that you are following you know not this one these thoughts that you own exactly because those stocks can lose eighty percent many of them are going to lose eighty percent if the sr goes to 223 thousand
- 1:02:29but i'll be serious and capitulation now you watch out for capitulation the capitulation happened remember the capitulation happened in on the 11th of november 2005 one large kind where everybody was tired all the foreign guys just started talking they just dumped everything so the angle was tired and it was and the asl lost five percent then there was a solid bounce now what was the solid bounce after the market closed
- 1:02:57Kadoso said something that they were going to look into it. So they set up a committee. They are going to look at the committee and all those things. We had a nice bounce. The nice bounce, the market again came back to almost the 146,000 region. And we kept, you know, going up from there. That was it. We consolidated, I remember, in December. I mean, November 27th.
- 1:03:26i remember all these things and i've already given keys i think he and maybe our first week of july that was when um we will have our telegram request session festival and since you guys have i'm done the 500 likes so i will i only do that for the telegram and my ex guys so but what's up guys nothing but what's up guys so transition and um that's why we'll do that so so yeah
- 1:03:55so these are the things and me for now the only the only um the only uh clarity i need is number one the debt situation like this credit swap yes we might say five billion dollars that is a lot of money because i don't have five billion let's not deceive ourselves we don't have five billion dollars how much are we generating up to five billion dollars let's be serious
- 1:04:24loans loans loans and um then the other one is the election scale any other thing market is fine companies will have been releasing good results so anybody that's telling you nonsense about our idea or because of the prices yeah i'm sure you don't know what you're saying sorry i'm using the show but i have to use the show because i already did well in q1 if you look at the q1 and you are smart enough they took advantage of what gas and then even the crudo
- 1:04:54so food oil pricing and every other thing even if oil is going to go to 50 and this thing yeah we're hedged i mean future you saw the engine now what was the hygiene price what's the idea price 55 dollars and i think this is something very very interesting right i think the additional did over lift to pay off that debt that very expensive um yeah so it might matter you know i'm just thinking about it because why did you do that because what i think is going to be an account
- 1:05:38and i said it that in no time these guys will pay off they'll pay off
- 1:05:59So they will pay off your drugs. So, yeah, let me mute. Okay, I can, okay, let me mute. Mr. Okay, I can see your face, so you should mute your video. Can somebody, alright. Okay, so guys, what the, can you mute, can somebody mute his video if it's possible? Mr. Okay, we can see your face.
- 1:06:58or we could see your maybe your videos mistakenly on if somebody can't tag him or tell him why she made this video your video is on so any other contribution from mobile i can see now everybody has gone people don't come out so um for now there's nothing market is kind of boring but boring is boring market is when
- 1:07:36When I hear the word boring, that's an opportunity for me. Oh, market is boring. That's why you should start looking, start shopping and say, okay, why is the market boring? At no point in time should the market be ever boring to you. I'm not pointing back. At no point in time should the market be ever boring to you. The same ASI that went to $250,000 is also the same ASI that can come back to $198,000 or $223,000.
- 1:08:08i remember that i started i was being kind of as i was distributing this is a distribution phase let me show you guys sorry you're not learning technicals but i saw some signs and i still like yes i could not could not break above this region you used to this coco uh zone this um this zone consolidating zone this is what we call a market cycle this is what this is a a distribution so
- 1:08:38The distribution was heavily going on around before it broke down. And I said that the next zone is 2009. Then 2009 couldn't hold. It break down, tried the boost, tried to again to hold it, I mean tried to break above it. They said no. And now we are looking at this coming back to this zone. Technical analysis is very simple. When I saw the signs before it happened.
- 1:09:09and i told you guys so again but doesn't mean that you don't sell but it's just a caution that hey why are you buying that's when you when you buy around the 250 lives why you individual stocks at the 250 000 region when you should be waiting when you start you are not seeing a sign over there and because you know that when this drops for that you know that every other
- 1:09:41if you are buying a strong stock then that's good there's no time there's no crime um like i said ngs group is a strong stock there's a cadbury there's a cabriolet is a very you don't have cadbury i think you should start watching cadbury um what exactly um which other stock um these are stocks that will be paying more attention to ngs group cadbury apart from cadbury um what is what's the name again
- 1:10:10NJS Group, Cadbury, even Aradale, Naku, Aradale, Naku, these are stocks that are on MTN. Again, if you don't have money for MTN, you can buy the other ones that I've spoken. I mean, I've caught. I've caught. So, you can buy the other ones. And Waku. Waku. Pay more attention to those guys. I expect a blowout result.
- 1:10:43again blood result does not mean the only blower result that can shake the market or maybe it can just cause some kind of move it's not only the waku and maybe empty and declaring dividend a nice divinity it even declare as full year and i declare it as h1 oh my word the market might be happy and maybe forgive us but again which not takes me to empty anything and i see a lot of people
- 1:11:11selling off their MTN and I asked myself why is it that some people cannot just like why are you selling why didn't you sell MTN at $9.55 or $9.15 I mean $9.15 an hour per share you can see MTN you can see did their buy back from the markets and MTN is busy buying all these stocks from new retailers what is this for their staff
- 1:11:43NTA employee share acquisition. They have to buy it back from the market. They don't have new shares. The group have 70 something percent. The market has 70 something percent. Now you are giving them employees this thing. That means they want to be awarding employees that long term. And this is two time out. Multiply this. Can somebody multiply that for me? Can somebody multiply that for me? I'm not the only one that is here.
- 1:12:29921 million 921 million for their staffs and now they did which one is this again who is this one i purchased general manager bought 8 000 shares but i'm not interested in this this is not enough so 900 this amount and this stock these shares will be given to staffs that's Jeff's payment scheme
- 1:13:03and their parents too then um this is what they are doing and they are buying it from the market that means they actually bought it from retailers or and from food i want to say yeah and it's something like a share buyback in a certain way but this is one of the companies yeah instead of the company holding the shares right and they'll be destroying it right they are holding it exactly for their staff and then they have invested exactly so that they have a visit
- 1:13:38exactly so yes i have done with you in terms of the shares you know um if i would say i would not say it's a mini share buyback yeah it's not it's not a call from power but in a way so because the share buyback means that the company is actually you know destroying the ones the shares that they have already taken out of so we buy it back with actual cash
- 1:14:09and take it and reduce the number of um outstanding shares and choose you know so that's it so any question guys it's looking like this guy is pregnant and a question hello good afternoon hello good afternoon yeah good afternoon my my question is actually on the meds last thursday they held the
- 1:14:57and AGM to give the managers of the company the go-ahead to raise for that fund from the market or from wherever up to 50 billion Naira. So I want to really understand because some of the projections we made earlier before opening to buy that share, it appears it no longer holds.
- 1:15:31So what do you think, how do you think it will affect this resolution, will affect the share price of the stock? Although we've seen so far it's been no diving yet, going forward after this resolution, how do you think it will affect the share price? Okay, is it for the new shares that I mean they want to loan or what? I mean the new capital raise of 50 billion? Yes.
- 1:16:05okay so they've not broken down how how how they are going to do it whether it's by loan or or public or for whatever that's eventually they are coming to reach some more funds so how does that affect the price the share price of the okay good again for this right we know that from where i heard the writing she was over subscribed and um
- 1:16:35see pay attention to name it whatever they are doing i'm really trying to get an info the main guys holding them name it um so same mg same chairman and he has a board seat on name it that's um doesn't pack i mean of you know pack that's uh this thing uh what's that name again pan-african and company so two of the main guys are sitting out on the board of them of limits
- 1:17:07um saying they want to do a 50 billion um um i don't know see i just want to pay attention to those guys and um yeah i think they really they have a blueprint of what they want to achieve and um for them coming to do this 50 billion um not actually even raising the money via the rights and it's just kind of surprising to me because a lot of people were willing to buy more
- 1:17:37Even me, I was willing to buy one million units of Nemet, only in addition for the right, more than one million itself. But it's something I want us to pay more attention to. I will talk about them. And this is a stock that I can easily do just like the way, follow the trajectory of me and Baker. It's well executed. We have found the facilities that we're going to develop it. And now it's looking nice and neat.
- 1:18:07it's something that i want us to actually um also i don't the company is fine because the first thing is they clean up their balance sheets now when they clean up the balance sheet they did a scheme of arrangement whereby they voted that um they can use their share premium to clean up their their um reserve that means retaining i mean that was negative their negative retainings which means that okay they are um they brought that to a close like
- 1:18:37They brought out to a close by making the book clean and sweet. So them now doing another, I don't think they want to raise them to borrow money. So they want to do a 50 billion, a 50 billion raise. Yeah, so be it. I think you should just pay more attention and continue to accumulate if you are accumulating this stuff or hold if you want to hold. But it's not financial advice. Anyways, let's go ahead.
- 1:19:07any other question guys so before quality video or any any addition any addition you can add so yeah yeah yeah thank you so this is uh more of a personal um question right um so so far this year i've not really added anything to my long-term portfolio uh because i had a project uh coming up for this month as i said at the beginning of the session um
- 1:19:37which TIP had funded majority part of it, the TIP public offer. However, the down market has actually stripped me of some of my cash on Agade and Nako. So initially my plan was next week when I get some salary because I couldn't sell now, I'm going to be a loss on those Nako and Agade. So I was thinking of averaging down and then being patient enough on my short-term portfolio.
- 1:20:07But on the second thought, I was thinking, maybe I should just let that short-term portfolio stay there on the market together and then I'll just put in the salary coming up next week into my long-term portfolio. I don't know how that sounds, whether it's logical or I should just put it in the short-term portfolio to average down and wait for the market to recover enough for me to do what I have to do with money. I can see this is a live question. This is a question that is...
- 1:20:33only that i can answer you know putting me under the spots um i will not say you should um um i won't say you should um i don't know
- 1:21:04is you that know what to do but don't want money that you know that you are going to need investing what you can afford to lose i'll keep on saying that even though i don't believe in it or invest what you can afford to do don't go and put all your salary that you know that you have obligations um in the coming months on coming days weeks i'll never advise you to do that somebody like me now i always find a way okay sorry you can't be like me i will not tell you about my story so so that you're not gonna use it and say oh senko says doing this for him and he's working for him so
- 1:21:35please invest what you can afford to lose and it's money that money that is in the equity market you are saying you want to create wealth yeah right it's not okay it's not the money that you want to use for one project or it's money that should be giving you an income if you are looking at the equity market that is going to give you income you will lose you you will see you will that psychology of this thing i thought it to come up from your left ear because you'll be what you will be aggressive
- 1:22:05and you can just take something irrational and you might not even know you might end up selling everything at a loss back to square one please don't do that put money that you know that yes I want to leave this money next 10 years I want to be playing around the market I want to be in the market I want to create something for my children or if you are married or for your for any of your adventure that you want to do any other question please or contribution oh yes
- 1:22:43sorry um i i spoke about i mean i asked about something about um it's technical now um the visible range volume profile last week um so i think i just uh kind of uh finished working on the on the stuff and um
- 1:23:06it seems to be aligning a bit with um some of the analysis you you have um come up with so i took um screenshots of like four on the i think i took on custodian on trans express i think some of the stuff you did on um posted on um on twitter so i want to share the screenshots with you your dm so that you can just um
- 1:23:55Okay, I can send it to your DM now, right? Yeah, sure, sure. Okay.
- 1:24:07All right. Don't forget, also, we've learned some, but we'll get back to you on that. There seems to be some lag on the first one that you did for the, what do you call that? I can't remember. The one that you sent to me, the first one. Yes, yes, yes. Well, I understand that, but the rules are already changing. Changing, yeah.
- 1:24:38yeah so i expect that um the chat tsunami comes better and uh you know so that would make sense yeah sorry can you hear me sure okay yeah oh thank you so much for all you do sorry just one question for me i'll talk about strategy regarding the insurance with the way things are falling do you still think there'll be a arbitrage soon
- 1:25:13know with the closure and everything should we still follow what was discussed before or should there be a change okay good um with everything that is happening thank you for bringing up the insurance let's just quickly look at the chart for insurance sector i was talking about that on the live yesterday for those are on the live they already understood what where i was doing um a lot of things has changed i would not like to you it is not looking feasible with way um with the way
- 1:25:45I will say, pay at them, hold, just hold and see, not that you sell. Let me concentrate on the strongest insurance companies that will stand the test of time. Right now, this is no longer looking good. And now you can see from my screen, right? They've lost critical levels. So this was, look at when I was saying the bottom was in for insurance. Remember, that was in February.
- 1:26:15you remember that's what i said the bottom was already in we came we broke i mean we flipped can you see where we were coming from from november we like this in january oh jesus okay so we broke this zone this is the man's owner we tested it and we thought that i was already thinking that the insurance guys will start cleaning up this stop-loss funds we call it liquidity grab or stop-loss law now what happened
- 1:26:46couldn't you reach the first resistance zone of one four seventy was one four four one four forty and couldn't even break this and look at this reversal sharply it has cleaned up all games all games that was already made like just short-term games now what do you think is going to happen again nycom or whatever capital is that they are going to do
- 1:27:21I'm no longer bullish on the insurance sector. I have to tell you guys, yeah, I'll be careful with what I say. I'm no longer bullish on the insurance sector. Why? Because of all these things that have been happening in the market and it doesn't look good. There will be more opportunities. So if I say I'm no longer bullish, yes.
- 1:27:46there'll be more opportunities but it's looking bad and i want to see if this is going to hold if this uh 145 it doesn't hold we're coming back to this zone you know i'm not buying cheap insurance sectors cheap insurance company around this room but let's see that this i just hope that this holds i'm not there's no hope in the market let me retreat i mean let me retract my statement i expect this region to hold if we don't vote i'm not going to buy for now i'm not buying any insurance company
- 1:28:18if i see uh the only one i might just be consolidating more maybe this is your time to own 10 million units of some insurance company and they will blow it just three narrow to five narrow move give you 50 million and if you and maybe your 10 million units you didn't buy them too much maybe you just spent um one million around you know so buy one i mean nine okay nine fifty times ten so you just you didn't spend ten million right so your damage you just for
- 1:28:47to buy a 10 million units of regular insurance at 66 couple means that you will spend 6.6 million now there are people that bought regular insurance 10 million units at one naira so they'll be losing 4 million rights now you can buy 10 million units around thousand and you'll be happy oh yeah fine if regular insurance goes to three naira right how much is that 30 million now do you think it will not get there
- 1:29:21touched 1.9 soon so it can get them other companies too again another company um is um what's the name linker shop so i'll just say we should i'll i'll say be careful and don't rush but don't say loss don't say your losses just you can hold them as long as possible but don't say losses for the insurance company because they'll always be that companies they'll be bought back
- 1:29:49And when the reversal comes back, it will be very crazy. This is the next morning printer. But now, the insurance sector is kind of bearish. I don't say who, I don't say who. But when that reversal happens, you can only continue to consolidate on the ones that you have conviction in. Like I said, Link and Shaw, even the veriters that I don't like, while they've always been doing, they move crazily. Link and Shaw, veriters, I'm not going to talk about consolidating.
- 1:30:22also this one you guys know my stand on is the double digits then there's link i show there's there's um um what do you call it very times so these are companies that are okay they still have sense and that's something that i want to continue then regardless and any other one maybe regular university insurance i don't know you're on your own royal lips here and there i don't know what what they're doing then um
- 1:30:52then you're not looking at okay you want to stay with the big boys you're looking at name you're looking at the name i want to focus because that is not an insurance company so i already lost it only name i think the leader in this sector is name and i could but i'll never buy it i wish i could have ran tomorrow i won't look down by it but maybe if i could go
- 1:31:23pay more attention to in terms of if you are consolidating and putting more position you have more position but you have this caution caution caution and um then there's max so i don't know if that helps because i hope
- 1:31:53It does help. Thank you so much. You missed Cornerstone. Oh, Cornerstone. Cornerstone. That's another company. See, they are English companies. So, pay attention. See, let me tell you the truth. You can create a new brokerage account for those that have money to play around. And say, okay, I only want to buy, I want to deploy money on insurance companies. Right?
- 1:32:26only insurance this portfolio for insurance and if i want to if i go to zero let me go to zero i'm talking to risk takers i'm not if you are old please don't try i'm talking to young people and i say at least i must have now i've changed my goal any insurance company that i know sorry um your mic is on any insurance company i know they are at least minimum of five hundred thousand units what did i say
- 1:32:53any as i'm sorry can somebody mute the um good so just create a portfolio for that and say it is only these companies who i am buying the next money printer that's the only place that i see a lot of opportunities other sectors are wrong they are they are wrong
- 1:33:38The only sector that is yet to show that, that will likely be the money printer, is NGS INS. It will be painful that you won't partake in this run. We saw NGS Industrials. I've been calling NGS, me and SIDA, and SIDA called NGS Industrials. When NGS Industrials was still trading below the 200 EMA.
- 1:34:09We recover it, we reclaim it, and all those things. Look at it today. Made us money. Made many people money. We call them NGS Oil and Gas. Look at it today. Now I'm shouting NGS Industrials. Yes, short-term bearish, because long-term, overall long-term, I'm bullish on NGS. And you start seeing banks taking positions in all these companies. So, measures and acquisitions will go on for some of these insurance companies that are dying, and they know they will not be able to meet up with the capital.
- 1:34:37and this universal insurance they should be they couldn't raise the money you know they've become an acquisition ticket tick tock tick tock that's when the recapitalization insurance so tick tock tick tock for most of those insurance companies create that portfolio and continue to want if you have more money you are young even if you lose it
- 1:35:105,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
- 1:36:04So, let's go ahead. Any other questions?
- 1:36:16I have a question I'd just like to ask. It's more on strategy. I want to understand basically or get an insight from you on strategy, especially for those of us who started out this year. At what point do you start? Can you hear me? I'm struggling to hear you. Can you hear some part of it?
- 1:36:48Ok, let me start again. My question borders on strategy, especially for those who started this year in the NGX. Basically, at what point do you start balancing your portfolios? Most of us that started went for growth stocks. At what point do you advise we start balancing the portfolios that's outside growth stocks are going for?
- 1:37:18more stable companies like the web codes and aerodels and all of that at what point maybe say um with accumulated growth stocks up to um so so amounts maybe five ten million is that balancing i just want an insight i don't know if you understand my question okay i get it so at what points do people like
- 1:37:45for those people that started this year this strategy is still see there are different strategies that work for you and maybe if you're following me i was i only took caution to people that started that they had this thing this year because the market had run had run and it was time for correction as i said we had only starts coming to the market you don't have to rush you can always move cash and i always keep on shouting cash cash cash cash cash i have cash but it doesn't mean that you rush
- 1:38:16Like I said, and I was like always telling them, okay, the ones that are not your long-term assistant, get out. Right? So, the strategy still remains. When you come into something new, yes, you already have a team in the game. It does not mean that you should go early. You only just opt out. You understand what's happening. Like, again, you're in this kind of great platform. You're right. You're in this kind of great platform. You understand what's happening.
- 1:38:45And never to go get ready. Have your own plan. I can't tell you a strategy. If I say I want to give you my strategy, it will not work for you. So you have to, you know, define your own strategy, what works for you. But the general strategy, like, again, for a newbie entering the market is gradually coming in, understanding, daring, look at opportunity, look for, even do the things that people are not doing.
- 1:39:17I was telling some young person, I said, you know, I just speak interesting, only insurance companies. Yeah, some, some insurance company ran, like, uh, gone on. I said, you know what, they ask, can I take, I said, do some of them, yes, you're not starting, you're building up your, your portfolio. So, yeah, you can't continue to hold. Uh, and I said, there are only a few of them, like, my last most sell, just, okay, but the ones that are doing very well, like, you're building your portfolio, you're taking this thing, wow, and I told them again.
- 1:39:47i'm not going to be there for you taking these decisions you're only the same because i was able to give you guys when to go out or go in or when to consolidate your portfolio or view something that is very fantastic and all those things but i want you to understand why you are doing these things and have this kind of mindset that okay this business because when you're in your perspective you don't have to be careful and when marketing again market already hit the top i was already like caution caution
- 1:40:17question as simple as it is okay any other question before i call it today question question all right i guess we're ready for tomorrow's red lights therapy who is ready for tomorrow's red light therapy no again the funny thing about this market is that all of them now might just change their mind
- 1:41:05Yeah, then they start seeing it. But if they continue, but that's what this stuff is over. I just expect that things will just normalize. It will take time. Maybe the next two weeks, we should start seeing those money that we are able to get the days to come back. Some of those monies to go back to mutual funds. Some ETFs were keeping the money in mutual funds. Money markets.
- 1:41:34yes some people want to stay by the ipo they are very stubborn people want to stay by the ipo so and again we should expect more more more distance i think this one is just like preparing us for what is ahead for the ipo that is going to be book you and i don't know how many weeks so they say september so it might be one week it might be two weeks and now
- 1:42:20I hope they lose that money.
- 1:42:29price forcing panicking in the market so i i hope they lose the money because i look like this free they will sell out their difference you know let me even bust you we like i'm not i can i can always okay my company saw some securities i'm not going to tell you guys the things that they said to be able to fund their own allotments but so if my company is doing how much more many asset managers or how many of these things so that's why we are seeing and they are not going to go and sell one less company
- 1:42:58They are going to sell what? The liquid stocks. Liquid guys, the banks. Yeah, and the Arade has done them crazy amount of money. So that's why Arade is collecting this beating. And Seplat is not collecting that beating. And Seplat is collecting, you know. Seplat needs 10,000,000 units to build the price. But it's just 10,000. Yeah, but 10,000 units.
- 1:43:25ten thousand naira that's what is trading us it's not that's it's not one collection it's not collecting no it's not that's not collecting you are saying something is collecting eight thousand nine thousand yeah exactly so the funny thing is that they did not do this thing properly you should i was expecting that you should have you know
- 1:43:55just list on london don't come and stress us just leave this thing do one listing simultaneously list so that it's easier for people to exit like using the industry but now you are putting pressure on the why is it why must we suffer for this it is argument right it's still a private company right it's not listed yet just pp they are doing right so and for all again you just think about it just because it's not going to make sense somebody that brought
- 1:44:26He's not going to collect money in Naira. He's not going to collect money in Naira. True. But I think for the IPO, right, I think the government wants him to lease, right, in Nigeria first. And this is my reasoning around this. That IPO will bring in foreign exchange into the economy. So people that want to buy will bring in dollars into the economy.
- 1:44:54I don't think they are really caring that much about money living. They want to focus on keeping the money that exists, keeping it and attracting more.
- 1:45:20So, again, I get what you're saying, but there's an adverse effect. If this is not executed properly, there's an adverse effect. Whiplash. Whiplash. Because if that money comes in and they can't do the IQ and they need to do that money out. Exactly. So, we are so careful with these things. And me, man, my problem is, Gangote, when are you going to go playlists these things?
- 1:45:50because the exit strategy is going to be for you to list on your law on the london stock exchange which is easier for them to watch to cash it out of their monies over there they do they are they do they get there they do a cross deal like using their cci you know from cscs cross it to their exchange there on the long long long stock exchange using their cci and everybody's fine so
- 1:46:19there's no need to or no pressure on the nigerian end the ones that want to sell in naira they can sell in there who cares you know because you need the dollar and that's going to affect the full pressure on the naira again because when the ipo and people are not trying to sell this to cash out their money just know the dollar might just go up to one thousand four twenty or four thousand and now my thesis was like oh okay the dollar will be cheaper because of in the shop then the dollar is going to be cheaper
- 1:46:50i mean i mean then i will appreciate right then i appreciate then when the happy was not like listed properly and everybody gets credited their shares immediately then there's a pressure on dinner because people want to quickly convert their money back again to dollar and what happens again more pressure that's what we saw in this private placement this week and i was to explain you guys anyways let me leave you guys i don't try any final question one more question
- 1:47:24Yeah, good afternoon, thank you. Yeah, afternoon. You said? I said I was hoping you'd have a dangote sugar. Oh, dangote sugar, like I said, dangote sugar is going to do well, very beautiful. I think that, are they done with the right issue? I think there have been some kind of crazy deals that went on dangote sugar. Like I saw on the floor, let's see what's down sugar. It's another stock that you should put on your radar.
- 1:48:01But last week, oh Jesus, 77 million. So these people that sold, I think these people wanted to take their rights. 77,910,000 units. Good place to be buying, like I said, might be around the 61.30. For those that missed the offer, you're not losing too much. You're not losing too much. You're not losing too much.
- 1:48:32i'm from the right issue because that means the right issue i don't know too much but don't know this sugar overall is something is ready to clean up their books right after that to clean up their books um that means their finance cause their high finance costs will be reduced and um the company is bigger than them now in terms of assets and every other thing so um it's bigger than us this is a 200 naira company in some months
- 1:49:04very good um very good and um we should just hope i mean not hope we should just see what the market wants to say but dangote should have very good company this is a kind of patient food it's a patient food those that are patients will get the benefits of a long-term movement for this stuff ladies and gentlemen
- 1:49:32I've come to the end of today's session. Sorry guys. Nazan, please share the video. See you guys next week. We'll talk about stock compensation. Something interesting. I'll also check up on you guys. Alright. Take care. Bye.
