- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera judge.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hey, guys, we are here at Bravoconn in the Twat
- 0:16Speaker 2: suite with Dave Quinn.
- 0:19Speaker 3: This is the closest I've been to a twat in
- 0:21Speaker 3: a long time.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Well, how many twats have you been close to?
- 0:25Speaker 3: Only in high school? A couple? But yeah, So for
- 0:28Speaker 3: those of.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You who don't know Dave Quinn, he is an amazing guy,
- 0:33Speaker 2: the most amazing, one of my best friends.
- 0:35Speaker 4: And you wrote the book.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I wrote the book on the Housewives, not all Diamonds
- 0:40Speaker 3: and Rose.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Yeah, and you've been with People magazine for.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Years, eight years, nine years almost. Yeah, it's a long time.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Okay, so you know all the.
- 0:48Speaker 5: I know a lot of dirt, but not all the
- 0:50Speaker 5: dirt you were just talking. There's some dirt. I still
- 0:52Speaker 5: don't know what. I'm going to find out, and I'll
- 0:53Speaker 5: find out, Okay.
- 0:54Speaker 4: I need to know why Drew is not at BRAVA.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I know, I have no idea. I didn't even know
- 0:58Speaker 3: that she wasn't here of yesterday.
- 1:00Speaker 4: She was taking off the panels no longer coming.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Oh, there's a lot going on in the Bravo universe, right,
- 1:06Speaker 4: now NBC Universe, like.
- 1:08Speaker 3: The whole thing.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Yeah, especially with like Bethany and all that stuff.
- 1:12Speaker 5: And I'm so curious if that's going to come up.
- 1:14Speaker 5: But are people, you know, ask Andy is the first
- 1:16Speaker 5: panel of the day tomorrow, so I'm curious. It's like,
- 1:19Speaker 5: are they going to ask Andy about his relationship with
- 1:21Speaker 5: Bethany and Nimi? And yeah, said anything about it?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Well as you shouldn't, I know, Yeah, really.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I want to know.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Of course, of course you want to know. Now, a
- 1:32Speaker 4: lot of news broke right before Bravo Kan.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's absolutely it's crazy.
- 1:37Speaker 5: You know, there was this big article that came out
- 1:39Speaker 5: in Vanity Fair, lots of buzz about the fact that
- 1:41Speaker 5: it was on the way and it dropped on Monday,
- 1:44Speaker 5: and there's been some fallout from it already. Ramona, who
- 1:48Speaker 5: was supposed to be here for Bravo Kan to be
- 1:50Speaker 5: on The Real Housewives, Ultimate Girls Trip Roney Legacy, Yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 5: not here and taken off the whole roster. Have you
- 1:58Speaker 5: spoken to her at all?
- 1:59Speaker 2: I actually did her podcast about a week ago, okay,
- 2:02Speaker 2: and I you know, obviously her and Avery we talked
- 2:05Speaker 2: and everything. And now this the news broke, which is disappointing.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think anyone's going to hear that podcast.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think so.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm I was very disappointed when I heard the news
- 2:18Speaker 2: and disgusted.
- 2:20Speaker 3: It's really difficult. You know, you've known her for a
- 2:23Speaker 3: long time, for.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Many, many years, and I'm telling you she's always been
- 2:26Speaker 2: very kind to me. So it was very heartbreaking to
- 2:31Speaker 2: see the page six.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 5: You know, it's the sort of thing where I think
- 2:36Speaker 5: there's this difference between impact and intention, and I don't
- 2:40Speaker 5: think her intention was that, but her impact certainly was
- 2:43Speaker 5: and very hurtful to say words like that and to
- 2:46Speaker 5: have them in your vocabulary. And this isn't new information.
- 2:49Speaker 5: I mean, the report and stuff that was in Vanity
- 2:51Speaker 5: Fair has been long reported. So I was surprised that
- 2:56Speaker 5: she stirred it all up again and put herself in
- 2:58Speaker 5: a situation of texting a reporter or something like that.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Well, I would imagine when Vanity Fair came out, she
- 3:04Speaker 2: was getting hit by every angle.
- 3:06Speaker 4: She thought that she was going to talk to the
- 3:08Speaker 4: reporter and.
- 3:11Speaker 1: What do you think the mystery Housewife is? Oh gosh,
- 3:14Speaker 1: if you are spect.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Idea, you know, I'm a reporter, So I truly believe
- 3:19Speaker 5: in sourcing and keeping sources off the record. I won't
- 3:22Speaker 5: even really question it, but I do think that that
- 3:25Speaker 5: Mystery housewife is currently employed employed.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Think that Mystery Housewives at BRABO con?
- 3:31Speaker 3: Yes?
- 3:32Speaker 6: Do you think she's on the East coast or the
- 3:34Speaker 6: West coast?
- 3:37Speaker 3: That's as far as I'll go.
- 3:39Speaker 1: What does it rhyme with? We've been going by rhymes
- 3:42Speaker 1: here on the twads.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I would say that she was likely speaking
- 3:47Speaker 5: in some form of antemy. Look, it's very difficult to
- 3:49Speaker 5: go on the record. Let's be honest.
- 3:51Speaker 3: The people who did, they're not going to work with
- 3:53Speaker 3: Bravo again, I would assume.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah, But why do you think that a housewife, a
- 3:56Speaker 2: current housewife would talk to Vanity Fair knowing what their intent?
- 4:00Speaker 5: Well, I feel as though they're probably a little burned
- 4:04Speaker 5: and they're probably a little frustrated. Listen, this is not
- 4:07Speaker 5: an easy experience. As you guys both.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Know, you're giving so much of yourself and someone is
- 4:13Speaker 3: in total control of the edit, and you get burned
- 4:16Speaker 3: very frequently.
- 4:17Speaker 1: But you can't do something that doesn't exist, Like you
- 4:19Speaker 1: can't be edited into a way that doesn't They can't exist.
- 4:23Speaker 6: That's what really bothers me, Like, I do think that
- 4:27Speaker 6: you can blame an edit only so far.
- 4:30Speaker 5: I agree, yes, but also the work environment needs to
- 4:33Speaker 5: be such that you feel safe and protected and you
- 4:36Speaker 5: feel like you can be Do you.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Think that there's a chance that people can be burned,
- 4:42Speaker 1: have a major issue, but then go on to do
- 4:44Speaker 1: multiple other shows with that same network, Yes, and be shocked.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Well, be shocked.
- 4:53Speaker 2: No.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I think that there's a little bit of delusion there.
- 4:55Speaker 5: There's a little bit of like a feeling like, well,
- 4:57Speaker 5: it's not going to happen again, but it always seems
- 5:00Speaker 5: to in some capacity. Listen, there's a two way street here, right,
- 5:03Speaker 5: you're giving and they're taking, but you're getting.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Yes, yes exactly.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You can leave at any moment, and you you know
- 5:12Speaker 2: what you're getting into.
- 5:13Speaker 3: And I don't know, it's very complicated, it's very difficult,
- 5:17Speaker 3: and you know, I see both sides. And that's how
- 5:19Speaker 3: I've always been as a reporter.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Right has tried to be balanced, understanding that things are
- 5:23Speaker 5: happening from all angles. And I think this situation specifically
- 5:27Speaker 5: with Ramona, as somebody who knows her, I know she's
- 5:29Speaker 5: really upset by this. I know she's really hurt, but
- 5:32Speaker 5: her words are really upsetting.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Yes, so there has to.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Be consequences to those actions. And unfortunately, have you talked
- 5:41Speaker 5: to her? I haven't spoken to her. I've spoken to
- 5:43Speaker 5: a lot of people who have spoken to her, have
- 5:45Speaker 5: been very close to her.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I know she's really upset.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Can I ask the rules on being a an actual
- 5:51Speaker 1: journalist unlike us being an actual journalist and getting a
- 5:58Speaker 1: text message from some and then sharing that text message?
- 6:03Speaker 2: What is the push you've gone on that? Because me
- 6:05Speaker 2: and Teddy talked about this earlier. To actually get that
- 6:09Speaker 2: message or that tech message, but to actually publish.
- 6:11Speaker 4: It is a whole other level.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Talk about it, but publish it.
- 6:16Speaker 3: It has a lot to do with what outlet you're at.
- 6:18Speaker 5: I don't work for an outlet and have never worked
- 6:20Speaker 5: for an outlet that would ever do something like that.
- 6:23Speaker 5: My attitude has always been we're off the record until
- 6:26Speaker 5: we're on. It's how I've built my relationships. Ultimately, there's
- 6:30Speaker 5: nothing that I will gain from hurting somebody by exposing
- 6:34Speaker 5: something that they told me in the.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Darks that nobody would talk to you again.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Right, But you know that for that outlet doesn't seem
- 6:41Speaker 5: to be a problem. They're not nervous about that sort
- 6:43Speaker 5: of thing, you know, right. But I've had talent.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Outside of Bravo and such who've said horrible things to me,
- 6:50Speaker 3: and I've never posted it. Horrible things in writing, horrible,
- 6:55Speaker 3: horrible things, angry about things that I've done or things
- 6:58Speaker 3: that I've said, or things that were or said about them.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Housewife has been the most angry with you and why.
- 7:06Speaker 5: There's been a few, but uh again, I'm going to
- 7:10Speaker 5: protect their identities because I'm not somebody who's going to
- 7:12Speaker 5: kind of expose them.
- 7:13Speaker 3: But there was one who called me and was real pissed.
- 7:17Speaker 6: I know who this one is.
- 7:18Speaker 1: She was laying on my bed on a magazine cover
- 7:21Speaker 1: when I arrived to Bravocon.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Thank you so much. We know you're getting to a concert.
- 7:30Speaker 6: What concert are you going to go to?
- 7:32Speaker 5: Drag Race Live? I want to go and with all
- 7:35Speaker 5: you queens. I wanted to go see some other queens.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Oh, I love it.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Any thoughts on what's happening with the magic mic of
- 7:43Speaker 1: it all for the scenes for next week, I mean
- 7:45Speaker 1: Beverly Hills.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I don't understand why's so upset.
- 7:49Speaker 4: I don't either.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Look like Erica was having fun. Listen.
- 7:52Speaker 5: If I could do what Erica was doing in that move,
- 7:55Speaker 5: I would go to magic.
- 7:55Speaker 2: My legs would go sideways like that in the air.
- 7:59Speaker 4: I would be doing that all the time.
- 8:01Speaker 1: If I could move my body from this awkward position
- 8:04Speaker 1: and my throwing right out my hair puts.
- 8:07Speaker 5: It's like when everyone gives Kyle's shit about the splits.
- 8:10Speaker 5: It's like if I could do splits, I'd be doing
- 8:11Speaker 5: them all Listen.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I would be sitting here in the splits the entire time,
- 8:15Speaker 1: looking I'd be mopping the floor.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Well, you can do that later, Tam, thank you so much.
- 8:22Speaker 3: We appreciate it.
- 8:23Speaker 4: I love you Dave so much.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Later
