- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcasts. Ben and Lauren
- 0:11Speaker 2: here today to recap another episode of The Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 0:17Speaker 2: This time it's Kyle's iconic white party that we learned
- 0:19Speaker 2: all about, or I learned all about. This is where
- 0:22Speaker 2: all the drama and the reunions are going down, Lauren,
- 0:27Speaker 2: I want to start with this. Do you look good
- 0:30Speaker 2: and white?
- 0:31Speaker 3: I'd look terrible and white. What about you? You look
- 0:34Speaker 3: great and white? You're wearing white?
- 0:36Speaker 4: I guess I don't know.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I think the people look good and white like you
- 0:41Speaker 2: would like. It's usually when you're like more tan.
- 0:45Speaker 3: That's exactly what I was gonna say. I was like,
- 0:47Speaker 3: you have to be very tan, and I think blondes
- 0:48Speaker 3: look very bad and white. And there were a lot
- 0:50Speaker 3: of blondes because we were in Beverly Hills. Wasn't the
- 0:54Speaker 3: best color for them.
- 0:56Speaker 2: This is a big with the things we learned last week.
- 0:59Speaker 2: As we got explain to us, you know, this is
- 1:02Speaker 2: a big party and it's been going on for a
- 1:06Speaker 2: few years now. Mauricio and Kyle used to do this together. Now, Kyle,
- 1:14Speaker 2: this is the first year that she's done on her own.
- 1:17Speaker 2: They've done it, like all these crazy locations. Sofi Stadium,
- 1:20Speaker 2: What is Sofi Stadium?
- 1:21Speaker 3: What teams?
- 1:23Speaker 4: Where the Rams would play?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Sorry, okay, the NFL Stadium in la I mean that's
- 1:28Speaker 2: a crazy place to hold a party.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Also a very weird place. All I could do is
- 1:32Speaker 4: when I watched it.
- 1:34Speaker 2: When you know, when you're like having your sixteenth birthday party,
- 1:37Speaker 2: you kind of learned some tricks of the trade to
- 1:39Speaker 2: throw a party, and you want the smaller location so
- 1:43Speaker 2: it feels busier and more's. Yes, it's kind of hard
- 1:46Speaker 2: to make a football stadium feel packed unless you have,
- 1:48Speaker 2: you know, seventy thousand friends.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I know. I think Mauricio, like half of his invites
- 1:54Speaker 3: kind of filled that stadium and Erica Jane filling it.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Did you see the performance of Rika Jane years before?
- 2:02Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of characters in this one, Lauren
- 2:05Speaker 4: that I'm gonna need you to explain to me.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I'll try to help you.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I would really appreciate it because we had new Real Housewives,
- 2:15Speaker 2: you know, new housewives, I guess popping up at this party.
- 2:19Speaker 2: We had new drama come to formulating. We had flashbacks
- 2:22Speaker 2: to arguments and reunions that I am not familiar with,
- 2:27Speaker 2: and so this was like a masterclass I feel like,
- 2:31Speaker 2: of Real Housewives history and trying to connect the dots. However,
- 2:36Speaker 2: the party is being hosted at Kyle's house. She's been
- 2:39Speaker 2: doing it since two thousand and four. As I mentioned,
- 2:42Speaker 2: it was originally for Moe and her daughter Alexia's birthday party,
- 2:49Speaker 2: but over the years it's grown. As white parties do.
- 2:53Speaker 2: This looked like a really fun party. It looked like
- 2:55Speaker 2: people were excited to be there. Lauren, I want to
- 2:58Speaker 2: start with my first question. You probably have a little
- 3:00Speaker 2: insight into this. This is obviously a party. People outside
- 3:05Speaker 2: of the Housewives franchise are attending this party. Yeah, to
- 3:08Speaker 2: have a good time. They're not just coming to like
- 3:11Speaker 2: see a camera. I don't think a lot of these
- 3:13Speaker 2: people care to just see a camera being, you know,
- 3:15Speaker 2: filming somebody. When you know, the contestants of Rhode Island,
- 3:21Speaker 2: or when Housewives show up to parties and we see
- 3:24Speaker 2: them being filmed the whole time and kind of sitting
- 3:26Speaker 2: on their own and like the corners of the party
- 3:29Speaker 2: or on couches, is this enjoyable for them at all
- 3:34Speaker 2: or for the guests coming or is it distracting?
- 3:38Speaker 3: Well, I remember when they film Housewives at Audrey's, people
- 3:44Speaker 3: really wanted to come for the filming because you're gonna
- 3:46Speaker 3: see this drama firsthand, and you can see a lot
- 3:50Speaker 3: of the bystanders when they were arguing. I think it
- 3:54Speaker 3: was Giselle was getting some of the juicy scoop and
- 4:01Speaker 3: there was a whole bunch of people like listening in
- 4:02Speaker 3: to hear the drama. So I think it's fun for them.
- 4:06Speaker 3: It kind of makes it more enticing. I don't think
- 4:08Speaker 3: it'd be distracting.
- 4:10Speaker 2: But then you could still go off, have a drink,
- 4:12Speaker 2: come back and watch the entertainment. So there's just a
- 4:14Speaker 2: lot of eyes typically on yes, the Housewives during these
- 4:18Speaker 2: now yeah, not just like a big old party.
- 4:19Speaker 4: There's an event. There's an entertainment factor.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Absolutely, And you know, it looked like there were like
- 4:24Speaker 3: no husbands except for Mo kind of there, right. Did
- 4:27Speaker 3: you see any other males at this party?
- 4:29Speaker 2: I didn't see any, like hardly any. I think that's
- 4:32Speaker 2: a good take because Mo did show up. It is
- 4:35Speaker 2: a big moment following last week's episode to see Mo
- 4:38Speaker 2: and Kyle communicating together.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I still kind of stand by the fact that it
- 4:43Speaker 4: feels like there's something there.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I've thought the same thing. I was like, just get
- 4:47Speaker 3: back together. The way they hugged, the way they looked
- 4:49Speaker 3: at each other, the way she was trying to make
- 4:51Speaker 3: him jealous by eluding that she was going to get
- 4:53Speaker 3: married again, even though it was like an obvious lie,
- 4:57Speaker 3: like it was just fun banter, but like he was
- 5:00Speaker 3: hoping to get some kind of jealousy out of that.
- 5:03Speaker 3: And they just keep saying, I don't know how I
- 5:05Speaker 3: got here. I don't I got here. I'm like, well,
- 5:06Speaker 3: then get back together.
- 5:08Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I want them back together so bad because it looks
- 5:10Speaker 3: so sad, and Kyle's never looked better, Like doesn't he
- 5:14Speaker 3: want Kyle at her absolute peak right now?
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, she is at her peak peak, And there is
- 5:19Speaker 2: something to be said. I'm analyzing in a deep way here.
- 5:23Speaker 2: But you know, they separate. They're not divorced, but they separate,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and then Mo goes off and you know he's not young,
- 5:32Speaker 2: but he's not old. He's middle aged. And you see
- 5:35Speaker 2: these headlines of like girl after girl after girl. Typically,
- 5:40Speaker 2: you know, for any of my friends at my age
- 5:43Speaker 2: or younger, that would be a sign of, hey, you're
- 5:47Speaker 2: you're I guess, for lack of a better term, like
- 5:49Speaker 2: releasing something there. You're looking for something that you can't find.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And you know, I think we can all say, oh,
- 5:58Speaker 2: it's so cool to just go out there and date
- 6:01Speaker 2: and flirt and hook up at some point in my
- 6:05Speaker 2: life at least, and at some point I think in
- 6:07Speaker 2: most people's life, like that stops being as like enjoyable,
- 6:10Speaker 2: and you want to find that person that looks at
- 6:12Speaker 2: you the way Kyle looks at him, and you're like,
- 6:15Speaker 2: maybe what you're searching for is right back to where
- 6:17Speaker 2: you were started.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yes, I mean they were together obviously for thirty years,
- 6:21Speaker 3: and he has probably had hundreds, if not thousands of
- 6:27Speaker 3: women slide in his DMS approach him, you know, trying
- 6:32Speaker 3: to douce him, and I guess like in the back
- 6:34Speaker 3: of his mind the whole marriage, he's like, now that
- 6:35Speaker 3: I'm very well known, I could have literally the hottest
- 6:39Speaker 3: twenty something year old, which is something that I'm sure
- 6:41Speaker 3: a lot of men like dream of. So maybe now
- 6:43Speaker 3: that he's gone through that like little fantasy he's had
- 6:45Speaker 3: in the back of his head, he's like, well, now
- 6:48Speaker 3: I'm done with that, let me go back to the
- 6:49Speaker 3: person I love. I'm obviously putting words in his mouth,
- 6:51Speaker 3: and I'm obviously speculating this is all allegedly, but I
- 6:55Speaker 3: think that, you know, maybe he's had his fun at
- 6:58Speaker 3: this point. And I don't even I don't know if
- 7:00Speaker 3: that was like the culprit of like their marriage ending,
- 7:03Speaker 3: but to me as an outsider, that's probably what it was.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean, I think we come to this,
- 7:09Speaker 2: you and I both as two people catching up and learning,
- 7:12Speaker 2: and as I watch, I don't know much of the background.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I'm not familiar with the you know, the arguments and
- 7:18Speaker 2: the discourse when it all happened. But I'm watching it
- 7:21Speaker 2: now saying, hey, I'd feel this way when I see
- 7:25Speaker 2: the two of them together, I feel that it's not
- 7:28Speaker 2: quite done. Well, we are at Kyle's white party. Your
- 7:33Speaker 2: girl Luiyne is getting ready and she's taking up the
- 7:37Speaker 2: spotlight at the beginning of this show because she has
- 7:39Speaker 2: a surprise for everyone. Did you love this moment for her?
- 7:44Speaker 2: Did this make you love her more or less?
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yes? She's so unself aware is that the proper term
- 7:50Speaker 3: for this? Because she's like, this entrance is going to
- 7:53Speaker 3: be amazing, This song is amazing. I am the best
- 7:56Speaker 3: performer of all time and it was most lackless thing
- 8:00Speaker 3: I've ever seen in my entire life. And then they
- 8:03Speaker 3: show they have the bushes as a backup dancers, which
- 8:06Speaker 3: alludes to her falling to the bushes in that conduct moment.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Where is Ramona right now? We need Ramona in this
- 8:13Speaker 3: but but she is hilarious and like everyone's looking at
- 8:18Speaker 3: each other, especially Vicky, which we know she hates. Luanne
- 8:21Speaker 3: being like, what the hell are we watching right now?
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good that's a good segue to talk
- 8:26Speaker 2: about Vicky. M h uh, we're you know. When we
- 8:29Speaker 2: had the episode one of this, Vicky was excited. She
- 8:33Speaker 2: was hosting, she was bringing everybody out there. It was
- 8:36Speaker 2: a really fun day. She committed to doing this road trip.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It feels like to me she was excited for the
- 8:42Speaker 2: initial day of this road trip, and as the road
- 8:45Speaker 2: trip continues, she gets less and less enthused about the
- 8:48Speaker 2: idea of traveling around the country with this group of women.
- 8:52Speaker 2: She mentions how busy she is and Lauren, in my life,
- 8:59Speaker 2: I just everybody's busy. Everybody is, everybody has the responsibilities.
- 9:03Speaker 4: You just assume that every.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Like nobody has time to do what they want, correct,
- 9:07Speaker 2: You kind of have to carve that out. I think
- 9:09Speaker 2: it's always something I appreciate when somebody says, Hey, I'm
- 9:13Speaker 2: carving out time just to sit, hang out, talk, laugh, whatever.
- 9:16Speaker 2: But Vicky seems like she is very committed to her job.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Is I tried to find it online. I don't know
- 9:24Speaker 2: if I know what her like, what is taking up
- 9:27Speaker 2: her time.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I know she sells life insurance, and we saw that
- 9:31Speaker 3: from the first episode when she was trying to get
- 9:33Speaker 3: the all the ladies to sign up for life insurance.
- 9:37Speaker 3: But honestly, as a new parent, I think anyone whose
- 9:44Speaker 3: kids have left the house, or you don't have any kids,
- 9:48Speaker 3: you got to you got time. So Vicky should have
- 9:51Speaker 3: time to let loose and enjoy this. I know it
- 9:54Speaker 3: must be hard because it is overwhelming. Maybe she's become
- 9:57Speaker 3: more of an introvert since, you know, over the years
- 10:00Speaker 3: and she's constantly with these women, and she mentions it
- 10:03Speaker 3: feels like one hundred days and it's only been three days,
- 10:06Speaker 3: so she's gonna lose her a couple more times.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It's uh, it isn't easy for introverts. I am one,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and it does drain on you. But you committed to it,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and you kind of carve out and say, hey, for
- 10:20Speaker 2: two weeks, I'm out of touch, I'm out of can't.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I won't be responding to emails, I won't be making
- 10:25Speaker 2: the phone calls, the text will have to wait, those
- 10:28Speaker 2: kind of things. And but you know, Vicky's career has
- 10:33Speaker 2: as I look it up, it's Codo insurance, seems like
- 10:36Speaker 2: it's going well. It does seem like she is, you know,
- 10:40Speaker 2: busy in her own respectful way. But the ladies don't
- 10:43Speaker 2: appreciate this. In fact, Luienne does bring it up to her.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Everybody else I think kind of in the preview calls
- 10:50Speaker 2: her a wet blanket. Yeah, it's not a great look,
- 10:55Speaker 2: no for her.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I think maybe she's really focusing on this insurance company
- 11:01Speaker 3: because she doesn't want to rely on housewives anymore. Maybe
- 11:05Speaker 3: she's like, this is going to be my job, so
- 11:07Speaker 3: I don't have to deal with these ladies anymore. So
- 11:10Speaker 3: she's like, I'm not going to go in this girl's
- 11:11Speaker 3: trip and lose out on clients because I'm here. That's
- 11:15Speaker 3: my take on it. She seems like very over it,
- 11:18Speaker 3: but being called a wet blanket is like the biggest
- 11:21Speaker 3: diss alive.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that would suck. Like, hey, every time you walk
- 11:24Speaker 4: into the room, it just gets a little worse.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I know, it's like no one wants her here, so depressed.
- 11:29Speaker 4: It's so sad.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Hey, I do want to give a shout out before
- 11:32Speaker 2: we talk about the Salt Lake City drama kind of
- 11:36Speaker 2: learning about that. I've been around her a few times
- 11:39Speaker 2: now because of this iHeart family and the iHeart Connections.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Teddy Metal Teddy Mellencamp makes an appearance. If you've been
- 11:49Speaker 2: following Teddy's story, it was spectacular for me to see
- 11:54Speaker 2: her show up speaking about somebody who's busy or tired,
- 11:58Speaker 2: or probably one of the last things she feels like doing,
- 12:03Speaker 2: maybe she wants to do but feels like doing because
- 12:06Speaker 2: of her battle with cancer, is showing up to a
- 12:09Speaker 2: party like this. But always great to see Teddy. And
- 12:14Speaker 2: obviously Teddy and Kyler are best friends and so it
- 12:16Speaker 2: makes sense. But just somebody we need to give a
- 12:20Speaker 2: shout out to because she has a lot happening in
- 12:22Speaker 2: her life that is very real and very.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Hard. Yeah.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Absolutely, I was shocked to see her there, but very
- 12:30Speaker 3: happy to see her there too, looking beautiful too. Yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 3: the Salt Lake City drama. I'm gonna say I'm not
- 12:40Speaker 3: the best at right now, but I do I'm kind
- 12:44Speaker 3: of getting the hang of it.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Well, let's bring Heather in to explain to us. All
- 12:48Speaker 2: of the characters that are involved in the Salt Lake
- 12:51Speaker 2: City drama.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I can visualize them, like I can see through the episode, like, oh,
- 12:55Speaker 3: that girl doesn't like that girl, but the names are
- 12:58Speaker 3: not great.
- 12:59Speaker 6: Yeah, So we had in this episode, we had Meredith
- 13:04Speaker 6: Mars show up. She is one of the original Salt
- 13:07Speaker 6: Lake City housewives as well as Whitney, and she's an
- 13:12Speaker 6: original and Bronwyn, who is a newcomer kind of to
- 13:17Speaker 6: the show. She's only been on for like I think
- 13:19Speaker 6: the last two seasons. And so in a nutshell, Bronwyn
- 13:25Speaker 6: and Whitney are not getting along with Lisa and Meredith,
- 13:30Speaker 6: and Lisa and Meredith have been friends for years and
- 13:33Speaker 6: years and years. But the gist of it is that
- 13:37Speaker 6: Bronwyn and Whitney think that Lisa is a liar. They
- 13:40Speaker 6: hear a lot of stuff supposedly about Lisa around town
- 13:43Speaker 6: and the links that she's willing to go to to
- 13:45Speaker 6: close a deal for her you know, Vita tequila brand,
- 13:49Speaker 6: and they call her out on it, and Lisa on
- 13:53Speaker 6: the other side, you know, denies all these accusations and
- 13:56Speaker 6: opens up to Portia in this episode basically, you know,
- 14:00Speaker 6: talking about the horrible things and lies that have been
- 14:03Speaker 6: spread around her and her marriage around town.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Which one of these girls is the famous injector.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Oh, that's Heather Gay and she's not until the next episode.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Okay, understood different different okay.
- 14:18Speaker 6: But also the same cast, but she's just not on
- 14:20Speaker 6: this episode.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Okay, that's the only person I'm kind of familiar with. Yes,
- 14:23Speaker 3: And Gizelle here is getting all the information. And Gazelle
- 14:28Speaker 3: seems like the biggest star I've ever seen. She's a
- 14:31Speaker 3: producer's dream. She will ask any question and go behind
- 14:34Speaker 3: anyone's back to ask a certain question and then ask
- 14:38Speaker 3: it to the brother person's face. Jizelle's getting all this information,
- 14:43Speaker 3: and it I the weirdest thing. And I don't believe
- 14:46Speaker 3: any of these accusations against Lisa. Like she she slips around,
- 14:51Speaker 3: she uses sex to get jazz tickets or a whole
- 14:55Speaker 3: bunch of other things, and Mike sales for her tequila brand.
- 14:58Speaker 3: So I don't think I think Lisa would actually do that.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I don't think she would do that. I don't think anything.
- 15:04Speaker 2: We've learned that with like Rhode Island, where a lot
- 15:06Speaker 2: of these rumors that get started, they're spread and they're
- 15:09Speaker 2: not true. Now, there might be a little bit of
- 15:11Speaker 2: truth in them, like hey, she went out of her
- 15:14Speaker 2: way to get a deal done, but then all of
- 15:15Speaker 2: a sudden, the rumors start, the game of telephone starts
- 15:18Speaker 2: getting played at the end of it. Now, I also
- 15:21Speaker 2: don't know if they're true or not, but we can
- 15:23Speaker 2: see how on The Housewives Show, how things kind of
- 15:28Speaker 2: volcano up and then all of a sudden you're like, oh,
- 15:30Speaker 2: what is being told to the public is actually very
- 15:33Speaker 2: far from the truth.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yes, I can see in like the heat of the moment.
- 15:36Speaker 3: So I'm like, you sleep with men for Jess tickets
- 15:39Speaker 3: and then that being like lop snowball effect exactly like
- 15:42Speaker 3: what you said, So I understand why should be mad.
- 15:45Speaker 3: And then Lisa, there's a clip to Lisa in the
- 15:48Speaker 3: in her Salt Lake City episode being like, you've crossed
- 15:50Speaker 3: the line. You involved my husband and that's where it
- 15:52Speaker 3: was like not friends anymore. Can't even come back from that.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And I understand trying to protect your marriage in like
- 15:58Speaker 3: such a hostile environment there, So I see why there
- 16:02Speaker 3: are separate camps at this party.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Would we say that the Salt Lake City Housewives and
- 16:08Speaker 2: the Road Island Housewives are the most similar in terms
- 16:12Speaker 2: of like how they navigate life with each other?
- 16:16Speaker 6: Say that they're not similar, but they're equal in popularity.
- 16:21Speaker 6: They're seasons, but not similar shows at all, in my opinion.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Very interesting. Are a lot of the Salt Lake City
- 16:28Speaker 3: people married still.
- 16:31Speaker 6: So Heather's not married, Whitney's going through a divorce this
- 16:35Speaker 6: next season, Angie k is going through a divorce this
- 16:38Speaker 6: next season.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Thank god goodness, Housewives slowed down.
- 16:42Speaker 6: Yeah, Bronwin went through a divorce in between seasons, so
- 16:46Speaker 6: we'll see play out this next one. So, yeah, Lisa
- 16:50Speaker 6: is married, Meredith's married, but both of their marriages have
- 16:53Speaker 6: come under fire on the show. And then Mary Cosby
- 16:57Speaker 6: is married, but that's a whole other thing because you
- 16:59Speaker 6: know she's married to her step grandpa.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Oh right, Ben's face please so enclip that her like
- 17:09Speaker 3: her biological grandma married this guy and then the grandma
- 17:13Speaker 3: like died or something, and then she married the grandpa.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Ben, Lauren, you need to get into this show, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 6: trust me enough, to watch you not nuts.
- 17:27Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't want to hear I'd prefer I've
- 17:29Speaker 2: never heard that.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It's the it's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Yes, nuts.
- 17:33Speaker 3: What what season are they on a Salt Lake City currently?
- 17:36Speaker 6: I think this is going to be season six that
- 17:40Speaker 6: be coming out.
- 17:41Speaker 3: We got to make sure Ashley leaves house by the
- 17:43Speaker 3: first season six. It sounds like everything goes to about then.
- 17:46Speaker 4: That's so messed up.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I know, I know, but it's Tea. It's Tea.
- 17:52Speaker 6: The mastor of her church. Like it's a whole thing.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Who's the pastor of what church?
- 17:57Speaker 6: Mary Anne Cosby is the pastor of her church and
- 18:00Speaker 6: that was like a part of it, like when her
- 18:01Speaker 6: grandmother died, she took over the church.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Is she still an active member of Housewives?
- 18:06Speaker 6: Yes?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Okay?
- 18:07Speaker 6: And sadly her son just passed away while they were filming.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Oh I remember this.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Yes, So there's going to be a lot going on
- 18:15Speaker 6: in this next season.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Oh terrible.
- 18:30Speaker 2: The White Party continues through the evening. We do get
- 18:32Speaker 2: to see Louienn's performance that Lauren eloquently said was just
- 18:38Speaker 2: not as big of a deal as I think she
- 18:41Speaker 2: thought it could be.
- 18:42Speaker 4: In her head.
- 18:43Speaker 2: But I love I do appreciate anybody that is willing
- 18:48Speaker 2: to kind of have the first character syndrome. We're like,
- 18:53Speaker 2: they're like, this is going to be great because I'm
- 18:55Speaker 2: going to be the one doing it. When you have
- 18:56Speaker 2: a lot of big personalities in the room, that would
- 18:59Speaker 2: be fine. You know, ziplining through a party. They would
- 19:02Speaker 2: probably think that was cool and that you know, everybody
- 19:06Speaker 2: would like it. And I liked that she thought, out
- 19:08Speaker 2: of any event that I could be at, this is
- 19:10Speaker 2: the one where I'm going to make this entrance and
- 19:15Speaker 2: it's not even her party. So there is a level
- 19:18Speaker 2: of me where it's like, I see what you were
- 19:20Speaker 2: saying before. I want to know more about Louienne because
- 19:22Speaker 2: I think I would enjoy watching Louienne because she's an
- 19:26Speaker 2: intelligent person. She can like converse with others that feels
- 19:30Speaker 2: like in a way that doesn't.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Feel super off.
- 19:34Speaker 2: However, she's probably making decisions that make you go, you
- 19:39Speaker 2: have a very high view of yourself.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yes, she loves herself, but I do love the way
- 19:44Speaker 3: she talks to people. I think she talks to Vicky
- 19:46Speaker 3: very well. We see her and Vicky have a moment
- 19:50Speaker 3: here where Vicky's like, I feel like you don't like me.
- 19:54Speaker 3: And then Luyne doesn't lie or anything. She's like, I
- 19:58Speaker 3: just feel like you don't want to be here, and
- 19:59Speaker 3: she's like speaking for everyone, and Luanne just will say
- 20:03Speaker 3: was on her mind, but she won't be like super
- 20:05Speaker 3: super aggressive about it. She'll just like calmly say it.
- 20:07Speaker 3: She's like, you just don't want to be here. And
- 20:09Speaker 3: then Vicky's like, well, you called me porky pig and
- 20:11Speaker 3: that was the funniest moment with the entire episode for me.
- 20:14Speaker 3: She's like, oh, the different pig. It's like, oh, I'm
- 20:16Speaker 3: sorry that you're still a pig and I got the
- 20:18Speaker 3: pig wrong. Vicky is so funny when she flips out
- 20:22Speaker 3: about that, and then lu Ayne realizes her mistake and
- 20:24Speaker 3: they kind of make up. They're like, okay, you don't
- 20:28Speaker 3: give un solicit advice and I don't remember the other
- 20:30Speaker 3: bend of the deal, but like they're amazing. They're great
- 20:34Speaker 3: together there.
- 20:36Speaker 2: The pig conversation is like what when I think of
- 20:39Speaker 2: the Housewives and those moments like that are the ones
- 20:44Speaker 2: that make me laugh so much because you can see
- 20:47Speaker 2: how it happens. Yeah, and it is an argument about
- 20:52Speaker 2: a pig, you know, a fictional pig. Yeah, and they're upset.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Like you said, she's still read like related her to
- 21:01Speaker 2: a pig. Yeah, I don't think any of us are like, hey,
- 21:04Speaker 2: what in my life, I would love to be compared
- 21:05Speaker 2: to a pig.
- 21:06Speaker 3: One hundred percent it's a porky pig or miss Piggy,
- 21:09Speaker 3: And I'm like, arguably Miss Piggy's kind of fatter, so
- 21:12Speaker 3: I would you know? Also either way, terrible comparison, but
- 21:16Speaker 3: also hilarious for us to watch. And Louienne also thought
- 21:19Speaker 3: it was funny. But Luiyne doesn't only have a fight
- 21:21Speaker 3: with Vicky, she also has a fight with fight with
- 21:23Speaker 3: Erica Jane and they go into the how this came
- 21:26Speaker 3: to be and basically Erica and lu Ayne were friends,
- 21:30Speaker 3: but then Erica ghosted her and therefore on stage asked
- 21:34Speaker 3: who the like the bitchiest housewife was or the meanest
- 21:37Speaker 3: or something, and she was like, it's Erica. So they
- 21:40Speaker 3: aren't off friends. They have to see each other at
- 21:42Speaker 3: this party, and I think that they Erica made a
- 21:46Speaker 3: lot of sense. She was like, look, I was going
- 21:47Speaker 3: through the hardest time of my life, the most public
- 21:50Speaker 3: divorce we've seen in a long time, blah blah blah,
- 21:54Speaker 3: all these things, and she's like, that's why I wasn't
- 21:55Speaker 3: messaging you. I was literally in the thick of it,
- 21:58Speaker 3: the thickest of my life. And so now Lewann kind
- 22:01Speaker 3: of like understands and hopefully Vick me be friends again,
- 22:03Speaker 3: because they are two bars of a feather.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Erica Jane got divorced to who.
- 22:10Speaker 3: The huge lawyer.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Arm Girardi, Tom Girardi. He was the lawyer that is
- 22:18Speaker 6: like the character in the movie Aaron Takovic.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Have you ever see that movie ban Uh?
- 22:23Speaker 4: Yeah? And didn't Tom Girardi get in trouble or something?
- 22:26Speaker 6: Yeah, So that's what she's talking about when she's talking
- 22:29Speaker 6: about the public mess of the divorce is the fact
- 22:32Speaker 6: that when she was going through her divorce, her husband
- 22:36Speaker 6: was also being sued for taking burn victim and flight
- 22:42Speaker 6: victim's money and putting it into his lifestyle and allegedly
- 22:46Speaker 6: his wife's lifestyle.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Now he's in prison, right, Yes, how old is he?
- 22:52Speaker 3: Like one hundred and five?
- 22:53Speaker 6: He's very old, and he has like some sort of
- 22:57Speaker 6: dementia because he like does not remember her or anything.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Oh goodness, yeah, good The Housewise show just feels like
- 23:08Speaker 2: an emotional roller coaster for me. All of a sudden,
- 23:10Speaker 2: I'm hearing about somebody marrying their grandpa, and then I
- 23:14Speaker 2: hear about them losing a child. I'm like, that's weird,
- 23:16Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh goodness, I feel for her. And
- 23:19Speaker 2: then same way here, it's like this guy obviously was
- 23:24Speaker 2: not doing great things, but then all of a sudden,
- 23:25Speaker 2: You're like, he has dementia and doesn't remember her, and
- 23:28Speaker 2: I'm like, good, Like, It's just always an emotional roller
- 23:30Speaker 2: coaster for me here. I don't even know how to
- 23:32Speaker 2: handle it. It's hard to I guess it's a good
- 23:34Speaker 2: lesson in life. It's hard for me to make strong
- 23:36Speaker 2: judgments because on the back end of those judgments, I'm being,
- 23:41Speaker 2: you know, sympathized with Hey, Lauren, I want to bring
- 23:45Speaker 2: up an opinion I have and maybe I'm yes, I'm
- 23:49Speaker 2: oftentimes wrong. But I watched this conversation happen where Denise
- 23:55Speaker 2: Richards is involved and they're talking about divorces, and it
- 24:00Speaker 2: felt very awkward for me where especially when it came
- 24:05Speaker 2: to talking about Denise. I think it was Erica Jane
- 24:09Speaker 2: or somebody that had blonde hair was kind of bringing
- 24:13Speaker 2: up the topic of divorce and public divorce and how
- 24:15Speaker 2: the divorces happened, and it kind of felt like Denise
- 24:19Speaker 2: Richards like caught one of the bullets here, like a
- 24:23Speaker 2: stray bullet, like everybody's talking about it. She was kind
- 24:25Speaker 2: of sitting there and then all there of a sudden,
- 24:26Speaker 2: like eyes go on her and they're like, you know
- 24:28Speaker 2: what it's like, right, And it felt to me like
- 24:30Speaker 2: Denise did not want to be talking about this publicly.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Obviously she's talking about the Charlie Sheen you know, divorce. Yeah,
- 24:38Speaker 2: did you feel that way or am I off here?
- 24:40Speaker 3: I think that probably? I mean, because everyone knew Charlie Sheen,
- 24:45Speaker 3: everyone followed that heavily, and so yeah, I think everyone's
- 24:48Speaker 3: going to look towards her because it was the crazy situation.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Ever Seene' I think she kind of is more of
- 24:57Speaker 3: an open book than you think, because when she was
- 24:59Speaker 3: on the head Housewives, she was talking about like her marriage,
- 25:03Speaker 3: her second marriage, and I think I think she's kind
- 25:05Speaker 3: of open to talking about I don't think it was
- 25:07Speaker 3: like a deer in headlight situation. Also, she's done some
- 25:12Speaker 3: interesting things with OnlyFans too. After this and her daughter
- 25:16Speaker 3: being on OnlyFans, so I think like she kind of
- 25:19Speaker 3: welcomes all the drama. Denise Richards, Yes, sir, I think
- 25:27Speaker 3: this could be allegedly. I didn't see the videos, but
- 25:30Speaker 3: I think her and her daughter did a video together
- 25:32Speaker 3: for only fans, so so I don't think that talking
- 25:44Speaker 3: about her divorce is really anything new for her?
- 25:47Speaker 4: Is it best for me just to keep thoughts to
- 25:49Speaker 4: myself from here?
- 25:50Speaker 3: And now?
- 25:50Speaker 4: I really have so many things that I'm trying to process.
- 25:54Speaker 3: No, don't keep your thoughts to yourself. We got to
- 25:55Speaker 3: hear it all.
- 25:56Speaker 2: I mean, can somebody here argue with me if my
- 25:59Speaker 2: first thought there is like how why that's doesn't feel right?
- 26:06Speaker 2: And would anybody here push back on me and be like, no,
- 26:09Speaker 2: this is why, this is how, it makes sense. It's
- 26:11Speaker 2: totally normal, and to like no, okay.
- 26:14Speaker 3: No, I think it's just it's just absolutely bizarre. I mean,
- 26:17Speaker 3: I think she was trying to help her daughter maybe
- 26:19Speaker 3: get some more viewers, and now she's like so proud
- 26:22Speaker 3: of her. She's like, I wish I did this when
- 26:23Speaker 3: I was younger, because you can make so much money
- 26:25Speaker 3: that relying on a man. And I guess in Denise's mind,
- 26:29Speaker 3: she's like she was an actress before though, so she
- 26:31Speaker 3: didn't really need of a man. Huge Huge, the hottest
- 26:35Speaker 3: girl of all time. So she was like, get your
- 26:40Speaker 3: money so you don't have to rely on a man
- 26:42Speaker 3: and go through two massy divorces like I did. So
- 26:43Speaker 3: I think that was her thought process with the only
- 26:45Speaker 3: fans and her daughter. Still, you know, it's weird.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 2: We end the episode with the previews in the car
- 27:03Speaker 2: ride back. Pretty much the car at back feels like
- 27:06Speaker 2: everybody pretty much admitting that hey, Vicky, like get off
- 27:10Speaker 2: your phone, get into the world.
- 27:12Speaker 4: We're at.
- 27:14Speaker 2: This is a few days to enjoy and to laugh
- 27:19Speaker 2: and to fight and to heal and all these things.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And it doesn't feel like Vicky is wanting to be there,
- 27:27Speaker 2: mostly because she does get invited to have a drink
- 27:29Speaker 2: in the hotel room. And I don't really blame Vicky
- 27:33Speaker 2: for this. I remember, I mean even today as I'm
- 27:37Speaker 2: filming the show, I do after a big day and
- 27:42Speaker 2: some and there's always the personalities great for them that
- 27:45Speaker 2: are like, hey, let's go have a drink in the
- 27:46Speaker 2: hotel room after, like like to wind down tonight, And
- 27:50Speaker 2: I'm like, well, that doesn't wind me down. What wine
- 27:52Speaker 2: would wind me down, is grabbing like my books, sitting
- 27:55Speaker 2: in my bed, not talking to anybody, and taking a
- 27:59Speaker 2: deep breath. So I don't blame Vicky for this, It
- 28:02Speaker 2: just I think the interesting point to this is Vicky
- 28:06Speaker 2: was and is such a big character on the franchise,
- 28:09Speaker 2: and she did it while having this kind of personality
- 28:13Speaker 2: of not wanting to associate all the time in social situations,
- 28:19Speaker 2: and so as much as it is kind of driving
- 28:21Speaker 2: me crazy how much she's on her phone, I think
- 28:23Speaker 2: that's just rude, absolutely general. There is almost I'm impressed
- 28:28Speaker 2: with her ability to come out of her comfort and
- 28:33Speaker 2: do the show for as long as she's done it.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Her kind of snapping at Luanne when she's like I
- 28:39Speaker 3: just need or the whole car. Really she's like, I
- 28:41Speaker 3: just need silence. You guys are stressing me out. Was
- 28:44Speaker 3: what all us introverts say in our head when we
- 28:47Speaker 3: want to get the hell back to our room. But
- 28:49Speaker 3: she actually said it, and I was like, that is
- 28:52Speaker 3: all that I'm thinking when it gets beyond like nine
- 28:55Speaker 3: pm and someone is still talking to me. So yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 3: I think she's I think, but that's honestly making great,
- 29:01Speaker 3: very relatable television. Her being overstimulated her but asking a
- 29:06Speaker 3: question to Luyanne. Luanne is actively answering it, and then
- 29:09Speaker 3: she picks up her phone basically like I will talk
- 29:11Speaker 3: to anyone else who is not in this car to
- 29:15Speaker 3: get my brain out of here. I think it was
- 29:18Speaker 3: definitely rude, and like, as an adult, you should be
- 29:20Speaker 3: able just to finish the question and then call whoever
- 29:22Speaker 3: the hell that was back. It seemed like she didn't
- 29:24Speaker 3: even know who was calling was good unknown number, and
- 29:26Speaker 3: she just wanted to get out of that conversation.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it's totally I think in today's world, with the
- 29:31Speaker 2: cell phone and the access to phones, it's totally okay
- 29:35Speaker 2: for you to tell me, Hey, I am going to
- 29:37Speaker 2: go back to my hotel room tonight. I'm tired. Uh,
- 29:40Speaker 2: this has been a big day for me. I still
- 29:43Speaker 2: don't see it ever being appropriate to be in the
- 29:46Speaker 2: midst of a conversation and to jump on your phone
- 29:49Speaker 2: just to see the random person texting you or calling you.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I at least want to know that you're present in
- 29:56Speaker 2: the moment.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Especially with the people that you're not that close with.
- 29:59Speaker 3: You're like, yeah, maybe for clothes. I'm like, oh, let
- 30:01Speaker 3: me just you know, oh, yeah. Yeah, but like you're
- 30:03Speaker 3: actively getting to know these people and it's very rude.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Preview for next week, the ladies are going to Atlanta.
- 30:13Speaker 2: I used to work in Atlanta quite a bit. Atlanta
- 30:16Speaker 2: always comes out with great stories. There's incredible people in Atlanta.
- 30:21Speaker 2: They have an amazing nightlife and a lot of big
- 30:26Speaker 2: characters in Atlanta. You know, Atlanta's interesting because there's a
- 30:30Speaker 2: ton of money in Atlanta. Uh, and it's a place
- 30:36Speaker 2: where if you're out and about, you can run into
- 30:39Speaker 2: just about anybody. Yeah, And so I'm excited to watch
- 30:44Speaker 2: what they have in store for Atlanta. When they said
- 30:46Speaker 2: we have big plans in Atlanta, I'm assuming when they
- 30:49Speaker 2: say that they do.
- 30:53Speaker 3: And they also have Kim Zolzi act making an appearance.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Yeah, explain her to me.
- 30:57Speaker 3: I mean she was an og Atlanta housewife and she's
- 31:03Speaker 3: just made big waves, like in the news, Like I
- 31:05Speaker 3: feel like everyone knows her. Of course, of course there
- 31:08Speaker 3: was bankruptcy, divorce, her daughters being very well known now
- 31:13Speaker 3: because they grew up on TV.
- 31:14Speaker 6: And.
- 31:16Speaker 3: I just I just know her from like other reality shows,
- 31:19Speaker 3: like was she on Traders or something like Traders? She's
- 31:22Speaker 3: been on every single other reality show there's ever been.
- 31:25Speaker 6: She was on Hulu's Got to Get Out. She and Croy.
- 31:33Speaker 6: She and Croy had their own spinoff. That's what you
- 31:35Speaker 6: know her from, probably on Bravo.
- 31:38Speaker 3: That's exactly what it was. Yes, love her. And then
- 31:40Speaker 3: we finally get to see Kyle talking to Ashley Darby
- 31:44Speaker 3: about her alleged relationship with Mauricio. And then Lisa is
- 31:51Speaker 3: annoyed that other Salt Lake City people are in attendance
- 31:54Speaker 3: in this Atlanta stop. So there's a lot. I'm so
- 31:58Speaker 3: excited to see Kyle and and Ashley talk though.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Atlanta is next week and we'll be here breaking it down.
- 32:06Speaker 2: So far, the reunion has been a masterclass for me
- 32:10Speaker 2: at learning about the housewives and the connections between the two.
- 32:14Speaker 4: It still feels.
- 32:16Speaker 2: To me a little bit personal information. It still feels
- 32:20Speaker 2: like this is a disconnect from Rhode Island because Rhode
- 32:23Speaker 2: Island is so new. We haven't seen any of the
- 32:26Speaker 2: Rhode Island can you know characters come into the reunion yet. Yeah,
- 32:32Speaker 2: and so it's hard for me in my mind to
- 32:34Speaker 2: make sense that these are the same franchise. I'm hoping
- 32:39Speaker 2: at some point we get to see Rhode Island cross in.
- 32:43Speaker 3: That's stop at New Jersey. We'll just tie everything in.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Well, let's hope for it. Yes, that'd be awesome. Hey,
- 32:49Speaker 4: another great week, Lauren.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Thank you for all the work that you do planning
- 32:53Speaker 2: and prepping for this incredible show. We will be breaking
- 32:57Speaker 2: down another week of the Real Housewives All Girls Trip.
