Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football freeze, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographical location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a state of being.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome in everybody.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's the Myahahoodle podcast.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_02]: I'm your host Chad Jensen with me.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_02]: My fellow football priest.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know him.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: You love him.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: Zach Kelverman Zach today.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_02]: I don't I wouldn't say we learned a whole heck of a lot, but at least we got to hear from George Peyton and Sean Peyton and their big annual pre-draft presser.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: What was the biggest thing you took away from it?
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, first of all, it was nice to get some fresh quotes, but it just kind of emphasized the need for the draft to get here even more chat.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of tired of all the talk and speculation.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see what the brokers are going to do.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: But from what they said, they have like six players or so or seven players, whatever.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying not to lead into the meme too much.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: they have a you know a very select few players on their big board that they would not mind drafting at 62 George Payne also talked about possibly trading back he goes it's unlikely but you basically never know what could happen I basically though I echo what you said we didn't learn a lot today they were pretty much buttoned up as we expected.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the exact quote, the exact quote today.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_02]: So they talked about how George Peyton Sean Peyton, they're pretty comfortable and confident.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: Not only picking where they're at, 64, so we'll say the late second round, but with the prospect of it being their first pick in the class because George Peyton did it in 2022 with Nick Benito,
- 1:40[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Peyton did a with George in 2023 with Marvin Mims and so on that subject they explained why they're confident and George Peyton said
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: We feel like, quote, we feel like we have six players were kind of focused on that could be there at 62.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: We feel good about those players and we're gonna keep working through them, close quote.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: So, it's anyone's guess, Zach, who those six players could be.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we could all be here till the cows come home trying to guess, but the farther you get from pick one, the probabilities of which six players are gonna be there, diminish, but they still feel pretty good about it.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And that's also why it's been so difficult answering questions lately about who the Broncos are going to take his 62.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trying to come off up to sort of come out of when I say that it's it's almost impossible to answer without knowing the Broncos big board and even then chat the Broncos don't know who they want to draft at 62 right now because they have like you said,
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: six players or if if they're not lying six players that could fit the bill at 62 So they don't even know how the board's gonna shake out, but we just have to I guess take him as face value because someone else said I think it was Roy Osborne in the chat and it's very true and it's a good observation Don't believe what they say it's lying season and until we get to the draft chat and they make their pick you never know And you know what
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: Who saw Nick Benito coming in 2022?
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: Zack and I, we were at the draft.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: Wasn't that the year we were at the draft?
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it was.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: We were flagged at each other.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: We go up.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: In other words, none of the names that had been commonly mocked and circulated were
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: the pick.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: It was this kid named Nick Benito, a part-time pass rusher with some upside out of Oklahoma.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: And in fact, Zack, I remember it being basically the same thing the year after when they selected Marvin Mims, it was who?
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: Not because we didn't know who we was but because he wasn't expected to be right in there, let alone on the Broncos mine, so to speak.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: So my point here is
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: We all kind of have these names that we begin circulating, right?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: Zack before the draft and a lot of ads to do with, you know, like an MHH, we have some legit draft experience on the staff with Nick and Eric and Carl and Lance and those guys.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: And so they start floating guys.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: They like there and then beyond that, Zack, we got
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: individual fans doing their mock drafts.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: You got the big publication box like you we covered yesterday from uh what's his name?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: I just brain-farted his name, Mel Kaipur Jr and so on and so forth.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: Those names start becoming trendy and start becoming front of brain and then you get that deep into the draft.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: Even 62 picks is just deep enough as Sean Payton says
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: And so by the time the Broncos go on the clock, it's like not a player anybody expected.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's probably what's going to happen.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, Papa Bear?
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: Zach, you grab Papa Bear.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: I did so much talking.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, thank you so much, David, for the super, as always, kicking us off in style, good evening, Broncos Country, God bless the USA and God bless Bonix, absolutely.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And just to tack on to what you were saying chat about, it could be a player we don't expect.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: We've been trying to pre-ent Broncos Country for quite some time now that the Pickett 62 or whatever they go on the clock and day two could be an offensive lineman.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: And you'll have to forgive me.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the quotes pulled up in front of me right now, but they talked about that today as well.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: And they also hinted at the fact that that pick,
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: could be to fortify the trenches.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: If not offensive line, then defensive line.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: They truly could go in any direction in the second round.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, shoot, guys.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't expect him to take RJ Harvey in the second round.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: RJ Harvey, as far as outside opinion, consensus big board.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I can pull it up right now.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: Consensus big board in 2025 at running back had RJ Harvey as a
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: the 110th overall pick.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: So fourth round pick, use a fourth round guy.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: And so honestly, from what I can recollect this time last year's act, that's kind of how MHH was talking about him, like Eric had a finding Broncos on RJ Harvey and get a lot of breakdowns.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about RJ Harvey as an option.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: He was at the senior bowl, all that stuff, but he wasn't a second round option.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: And yet he was the guy at 60.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: So again, the one thing I feel pretty confident in, I don't know what position it's gonna be.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: but I bet you it's a guy that no one's really think it up.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's not gonna be a name you don't recognize, but it's not gonna be a guy that is right there in that zone and all the mocks you run and all the mocks you read, it's gonna be like, well really.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: And they'll get some blowback fans will be a little disappointed because it wasn't the perfectly, you know, value as far as consensus, big words and all.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: But every time so far as Zack, they've been proven right.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: They were right on Nick Benito.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: They were right on,
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: Marvin Mims, they were right on Bonex.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: They were right, at least so far Zack on RJ Harvey.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: In recent memory, you know, the picks that I've called beforehand were really limited to Dalton, Ryzener, and Lloyd Kushenberry, and those were layups.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like, I called the Bonex pick in 2024.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: My point in saying that is very rarely, like you were insulating, Chad, is the draft pick the team makes the most obvious or the most popular one among the fan base.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why we've been saying it could be as our Butler put it an infrastructure guy a defensive Lyman and offensive Lyman.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: They've worked a few out.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: It would make sense.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's how a good team stay good and they start building for the future.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: But you mentioned RJ Harvey.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: I always talk about it a lot too.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: John A. Baron, who saw that coming at 20?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: I certainly did not have about Pat Bryant did anyone think when the Broncos turned that pick it and round three it was a me Pat Bryant who had a six-round grade.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: The one thing that I can say was certainly Chad is that they're going to make their pick regardless of how anyone feels about it.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: If they have conviction that's the guy that they're going to take.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: And they should.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: And you were right, dude, paparines and other great example of a guy that according to outside perspective, the Broncos reached on, they don't give a Sam Hill what outside perspective things on it.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: That was a guy they wanted where they where they took him and they took him.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm at the paparite was pick 162 overall on the on the consensus big board exact.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_02]: He was what is that late fifth, you know, and six rounder and the Broncos took him in the
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: And so far, you know, there's been a few exceptions where they swung and missed like Greg Dolcech.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: But if we think back to that pick, that was the one pick we heard from George and then you'll hack it, then Nathaniel Hackett had the most influence on and ended up being a huge bust home.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, another story Zach out of today, I'm gonna write about this after the podcast tonight, but he was asked George Peyton that is about any scenarios
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: We've been running scenarios.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's how they kind of have the six guys.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: They feel confident about being in that window, right?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: And hey, any of those scenarios guys is there a trade into the first round?
- 8:37[SPEAKER_02]: Quote, you never say never, but it's unlikely.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: It would cost quite a haul for us to get up there.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: Most of our draft we would have to trade and then something next year, I'd say that's unlikely, but we could certainly move up in the second round, close quote.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: Zach, I don't know if it quite would qualify for an a keep to lead big move coming and it could be in the draft, but could be a little bit of a trade up and round two.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_02]: You give up one of those fourth, two fourth round picks.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: You have and move from 62 to like maybe 45 or something.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's what bothers me though about the to Lee prediction in general.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: It was so vague and it was so all encompassing that if the Broncos do move up even like four or five spots, they can turn around and say, oh, look, we were right.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's such a good plausible deniability, but regardless, George Peyton basically said we could move up, we could move back or we could stay put.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: I would be surprised and it all comes down to opinion and subjectiveness, what you think the Broncos are going to do, I would be surprised if they moved up in the second round
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: they stay put or they move back down a little bit.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Tucson Phil jumping in on Facebook, good to see you palaces, good evening Chad Zach and Deacon Scott, a little trivia in this slow time.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: What does Seattle, Baltimore, and Denver have in common relating to the draft?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: I know the answer is that to you, I do not.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm overthinking it though.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: They've never had the number one overall pick.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: Good one.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: fooled me.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's not, I was way over thinking that feels so that's pretty, pretty insightful trivia.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: The only reason I knew it is because in my Twitter perusels, the other day I saw a meme about it.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, oh, yeah, because we all know the Broncos I never had at the highest they've ever picked was 2011 when they took bond to number two overall.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: but I wasn't aware of the other teams that had never had the number one pick and it's Seattle and Baltimore.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: So good question there, Phil, good question, buddy, thanks for your support as always, Big Dog.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: Roy says, I would love a D-Lignment or O-Lignment at 62, granted if the Broncos stay there.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: I predict Zach that they move that second round pick.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: like they move up a little bit, I predict.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: And it's based on something not what I just read from George Peyton where he said, now I would say I first round trading up into the first is unlikely, but we could certainly move up in round two.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually not based on that.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's something he said a little bit later on into the presser when he was asked about what they learned from the previous drafts, 22 and 23,
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: they didn't have a first round pick in their second round pick had to be their first selection of the class and here's what he said quote it's very similar to what we have done we are really honed in let's say from picks 45 to 75 just really honed in on that group of players not that we haven't gone through the process in the first round like we always do but now this just gives us time to really focus on the players there and go through every scenario
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's quite a window, you know, 75 puts you into round three, 45 Zach puts you precipitously closer about halfway closer to the first round.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: I love the fact that you think the Broncos are going to move up because I think the Broncos are going to stay put and that's what I said before is that it all comes down to opinion.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: I love having the debate and it's not fun at this time of the year chat when everyone just agrees.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Although there's another scenario here.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say they stay put in the second round because they have a collection of multiple picks and other rounds.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have a third round pick because of the water trade.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they come back up into the third round.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's also an option as well.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: And if that happened to keep to leave, but also claim a victory over it, but that's also a distinct probability, maybe for George Peyton.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that is also Zach.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's a fair point because that's also part of what makes the 2026 draft unique relative to our first pick being in the second round is in 2022.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: They had a third round pick Greg Dolcech in 2023.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: They had third round picks.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: This time they don't have a third round pick.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: It makes it kind of weakens their draft position a little bit, not having that third.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: Now, we have rationalized it and we've advised everybody to go look if you're agonizing over the fact that the Broncos don't have a first round pick.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: Remember, they've already made it his name's Jalen Wattle.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_02]: You can rationalize the same way when it comes to the third round, but the bottom line is they don't have a third round pick and they have two forests relatively early in the in the round.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: and what three seven for round picks as well.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: I know it doesn't count for a lot, but it's just extra ammo and like little things that you can throw into a trade it is appealing to some teams.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: So not saying it's going to happen, but it's also a possibility just like moving up in the second round.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they want to get back on the clock in the third and go after another player.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: That would be pretty interesting.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see what's on Glenn's mind from Melbourne, Australia, Hashtag State of being, baby.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: He says just over a week till we make our first pick, I think the board will dictate a trade up in the second, taking a great BPA, this best player available, slider or a defensive tackle linebacker, tight end.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: I also think a future second for a third and a sixth trade up as possible, Hashtag.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Chase for live state of being, Peyton owns the draft.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_02]: Very interesting.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: What's talked about a lot today is that for whatever reason, some interesting things were said relative to Tyden, Sean Peyton quote, he was asked, do you still view Evan Ingraham as a key piece to the roster?
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: And he said quote, we definitely view him as a key piece.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: I would say this about the Tyden class, in my opinion, if you were looking for a blocking
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: If you're looking for a move, tight end, maybe a undersized death, they're out there to each his own.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: The different type of tight ends are available.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's always a challenge with that position, because sometimes you're projecting maybe in an offense that is playing them differently relative to Evan Ingraham.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's someone that gave us a lot of big plays a year ago.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: And we will continue to find ways to keep him and add to his work load close quote.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm very curious that how he defines a lot.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: when he says, he gave us a lot of big plays last year.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's, again, it's a lot of disingenuous comments going around this time of year, and it may be I'm over thinking it, but this sounds like a coach chat that wants other teams to make a run on tight ends, so another player from another position may be slips to the Broncos.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's lying season.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's smokescreen season.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I know I'm always like overthinking and thinking like it's like a gamesmanship battle, but that's what the draft is.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, I agree with you, Glenn.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: He says Oscar dealt for me as the steal of the draft at Titan.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: He has all the tools.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he ends up being the steal, but he will be a steal.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it was Kipers draft that I saw Zach.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: He was a second round pick.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Oscar dealt the Georgia Titan.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: So his
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think his tool kit and what he brings to the table is going to be lost on the NFL.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: Some people because of his injury and the foot thing that happened at the combine, you know, in the press are going to be, they're going to read into that maybe too much.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: I bet you he does end up going Oscar Delphsack second second round at some point and then relative to the tight end class.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, as it relates right now for the consensus Bigboard, he's the fourth ranked behind Kenyan City Eli Stowers and Max Claire.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: I bet you he hears Oscar Delph here's his name called before Claire.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: And for whatever, it's worth a mill chieper in that mock draft in the blurb where he took Caleb Banks, the defensive lineman for the Broncos, he said, also keep an eye out for tight end here because as he noted that Evan Ingraham, I believe is in a contract year and they need to start thinking about the future of that position because I don't, you know, Adam Troutman's nothing, Lucas Crawl and Nate Adkins, their career backups, it would be nice to have a future stud tight end in the pipeline.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: So another possibility.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: Who did chieper take
- 16:54[SPEAKER_02]: I got to look at Capers first round real quick, uh, I got to check this out.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: First, Mendoza David Bailey interesting number two overall, Arvelle Reese three overall Arizona.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just trying to see where he had, uh, where he had Simpson here real quick.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Tate, sunny styles, bane, Tyson.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not seeing him.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: Where is he Simpson Simpson?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: So far, pick 22, I don't see him yet.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: He won't go in the first round.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: Looks like for Cuiper, nope.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, 30th overall.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: 30th overall, Arizona trades back up with Miami.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: Taking that pick that long to Denver Zack and takes Tyson's.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: And so Chase says Tyson's and third overall is gross, LOL, thank God, we aren't the Cardinals.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: But in Cuiper's mock, they still ended up with them despite not taking him at three.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: we were the cardinals not too long ago chase they just gave up on their quarterback and they're now on the on the uh... carousel once again and you have to keep swinging until you get off the carousel so uh... thank god we aren't the cardinals and uh... god bless bonyx once more no doubt no doubt and yet by the way Glenn
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: DELP was phenomenal.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: His pro-day he answered a lot of questions.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: He swaged many concerns.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why he's going to go a lot higher than a lot of people realize.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you on that.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, Storm.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: Bless good to see you, brother.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: Not feeling work today.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: Finally made it to a break ready for another great episode.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: Good to have you with us.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: big dog, hope you're doing well.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle on Facebook says the Nick's Ingram connection has to improve.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_02]: Their connection looked off for whatever reason.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: Zack, it's hard to know for sure.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: Why Bonyx has not been very
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't prioritized the tight end much since he's been a pro, but it does need to change.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: And I think a part of that is it actually ties into what Kurt Warner said not only back at the Super Bowl, but he recently appeared on a local, tell our local, was it a radio?
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was the fan and was talking about Bonix again and he said, hey, the same thing he said at the Super Bowl, which was
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, great thrower on the run athletic, he's one of the best in the NFL thrown on the run and he's very comfortable doing that, but for him to reach the next levels of his development, he's got a really developed his pocket poise, which I 100% agree with, not poise in the sense guys that he's panicking, but just that.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: impulse he has when he hits his back foot to immediately go if nothing's right there immediate and ideally like you look at Peyton Manning Zach who is arguably the best pocket quarterback him and marino of all time Tom Brady obviously too.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_02]: He'd hit the back foot and if one wasn't there, he's going to two.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's going through his progressions and then he's making his throw.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: Why is that important?
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: Why does Bownex need to learn to do that better?
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: As Kurt Warner explains in depth, it allows all of the concepts and the routes of that plays act to fully develop.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: And therein is where you start getting some bigger bang for the buck and you capitalize on what these concepts are designed to do for your offense in the first place.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: you're killing these concepts because the receiver see that you bailed and so they start doing what they're trying to do and come back to the ball and make themselves a target.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: So the playbook, the plays act just went out the window.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: Bone is to improve in that area and I think if he does Kyle in this third year for him, you'll see that right down greatly to Ingram's benefit.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the connection, excuse me, it didn't look off.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was all.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: And part of it was because like Chad just laid out, it's part of the quarterback.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: The guy getting anger on the football.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of it too was on anger him for just not physically, I guess, stepping into the role as the no doubt tight end one.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: He looked a little slow, sluggish.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know he came back from an injury, but he just didn't look like the same explosive player he was in years past.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: And also the third thing here, I blame a little bit on,
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Peyton, and he did the same thing with Evan Ingram, he did with Jared Stitham, creates so much hype that it becomes an unnecessary amount of pressure and an unrealistic level for that player to live up to.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: All Sean Peyton did was talk about Evan Ingram being the Joker, being the Joker, being the Joker.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: It was a joke in the end.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe if he didn't put that expectation out there or the pressure on Ingram, he would have played better, but even then for the reasons
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: Albert the mile high Dutchy says which player of any team do you think will be dangled as a trade piece in the draft he says I think Atlanta tight end who was just franchise tag Kyle pits is one of them Zach there's been some smoke connecting pits to the Broncos the last week or so do you agree with mile high Dutchy and if if not who is a player you think could be moved in the draft
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: I would like Kyle Pizz, I would prefer the Broncos just sign David Najoku after the draft if they want a better and tight end and save the capital.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: I just think Najoku also fits better, you can rely on him more.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: It wouldn't, I don't know, though, Chad, because it's like you, you're keeping Ingram or still be think, you gave Troutman a three-year deal, that we know.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: You brought back Adkins and Crow, you're running it back, and then you're going to go during the draft and trade for a tight end like Kyle Pizz, I don't know.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe someone though for another team, maybe like Bree's Hall.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's another guy that I've wanted the Broncos to go after.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe George Pickens gets moved.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: Or a player like Jefferson at a Minnesota, a player that no one sees coming, a true blockbuster.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: There's always one of those.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think Kyle Pitz and the Broncos is gonna happen at this point.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know either, but if there's an interesting question, Albert, thank you, buddy.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Garron T checking in with a super chat, thank you, brother.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: He says, I trust Peyton will just say Peyton squared, even if they sit tight.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I do too, especially in this zone.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: Just their second round picks, you know, they together have done really well.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: George Peyton's first draft is the GM in Denver, second round pick was Pookey, who impacted initially Zack with a bang.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like his rookie year was impressive.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos had, they came tantalizingly close.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: to having 2,000 yard rushers, and if they had a quarterback, they would.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like if they had a quarterback that forced teams to even slightly fear their passing game, they would have had 2,000 yard rushers.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: Pookie and Melvin Gordon both almost got to 1,000.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then of course the injury bugs struck Pookie early that next year.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then he just never quite was the same.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: So the Broncos said, even though he still exact served as their number one and
- 23:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't view him as a bust, by the way, of all the, he didn't get a second contract exact, but I do not view Pookey Williams as a bust for the Broncos.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_02]: Either way, this zone, the second round, late, second round, I'm very confident guaranteed in Sean Payton and George Payton.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that anyone should consider Javante Williams a bus.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to say that no one does if they do their extremely short sighted.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: If not for that catastrophic knee injury, Chad, that wasn't his fault.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like it's genetic or anything.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: He would have been a consistent 1000-yard russure like you said.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, guaranteed I also agree we have to give them the benefit of the doubt they drafted well for the most part, if not really well, at least in round two and early part of the rounds as well.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: They haven't really taken any one, Chad, that's been a catastrophic bust like a Jamaica's Russell level bus or Ryan leaf level bust where we can say, oh, I don't know they better mail this they've earned our trust at this point.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: The closest thing to a bust in the, in the Sean Peyton era is Drew Sanders, but I have a hard time calling a third round pick a bust.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'll go, I'll go there with you on second round.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: Third round.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, again, you talk about the, the scattergun effect, like Sean Peyton the way he, he explains it.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Let me see if I can find the exact phrase, but the idea being that the farther you get from the first overall pick, the wider the, uh,
- 25:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'll see if I can find it, but so I don't, I don't typically Zach, if you third round is bus category, you're taking a pretty big chance no matter who it is, but Drew Sanders comes the closest, but even him derailed by injuries, not that's not like he played and failed.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: He just hasn't been able to get on the damn field.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the first round you're drafting a surefire starter ideally the second round you're drafting a like a future starter the third round you're drafting basically I mean for the most part I don't want to generalize but like a really high prize backup or a high prize upside player or whatever and that's what you know Sanders can be dumped in that bucket as well.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm right there with you.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't consider him a Jamaican level bus or anything like that.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: They took a chance and didn't work out.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it was an injury in the end shot of a pretty major one that did Drew Sanders in.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: Same with Chavance Williams.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: Well said, brother.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: Phil jumps in again to say, I know I'm crazy, but I don't think Bo has any confidence in Troutman.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Evan Ingraham, I'm trying to figure out what games I slept through that either one of them had so many great plays.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: My take, trade, or draft, or both for a tight end.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Ingraham, I do agree, Zack, that there's still untapped potential there.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't look, you know, he's not exactly the same spray guy he was when he was a giant young draft pick.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_02]: What was that 2017?
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think his rookie year was.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: He's obviously lost a step, but relative to his last pro bull season with the Jaguars, which was two years before he ended up in Denver.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: He looks the same to me.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_02]: It was just a matter of fit and comfortability with
- 26:52[SPEAKER_02]: didn't look his way.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_02]: The only time the ball went at Ingram's Waysack was little dump offs and almost this like weird tight end screens, but mostly it was stand a block for half a second leak out dump off yet really.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: You don't see him challenge in the scene or at least bone X going to him when he's challenging the scene.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: You don't see any over the middle usage.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: And again, this is a vulnerability in Bose game guys and look, he's a young player.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, he's going to have vulnerabilities.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, he's going to have areas in which he can improve.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think if he just remains committed to learning how to improve from the pocket.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: All the guys, it'll trickle all the way down.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: And especially, I think benefit the tight end.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: So, but that doesn't mean feel, I don't think they need some upgrades.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm okay with Evan Ingraham's act being your big move tight end.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: You're big slot.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: But you need a better option than Adam Troutman at the Y.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: a delpe, or, I mean, we know that the sedic might eventually be a really good blocker stowers isn't going to be Claire could maybe develop it.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: Rouse could offer you some of that.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: The Stanford kid, like if you wanted to take him in the fourth round, uh, jolly no trig, no, raridon, maybe eventually, but joe royer's same thing, maybe eventually barcature from Texas A&M could offer you day one blocking impact at the Y, same with
- 28:21[SPEAKER_02]: My point here is you're not getting an upgrade at the Y for 2026 through this draft.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: The only way you can get an upgrade at the Y is if you go out and sign David and Joku for 2026.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: Delp could eventually be that guy for you in 2027 and beyond, but we know the Broncos aren't going to draft even if they drafted tight in in the second round this year's act.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's not stepping in immediately replacing Adam Troutman as their primary Y.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately so you're right.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: I remember a big catch and run that anger him had later in the season I don't remember exactly but the big plays were few and far between and I maybe some of that too was not having the middle of the field cleared out because you didn't have a legitimate receiving weapon That's why the trade for jail and water chat is gonna benefit every one involved But here's like the true test here
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: If you're debating, if you're the Broncos, if you're debating going tight-end in round two or fairly earlier, whatever, you have to ask yourself, there's a player like Eli Stowers, for example, offer you more upside-going forward at the tight-end position than Evan Ingraham.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: If the answer is yes, then take Eli Stowers and move on from Ingraham.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: If you think you can ring out some more potential and upside from him, keep him fine.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm with you, they have to start thinking about the future because no player they have in that room is made for the future.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: And it just doesn't look like, unless all of a sudden, anger him turns in a proble kind of year in 2026, that he has a future in Denver beyond this season.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: So they got to start thinking that way.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: And Chase, thank you for bringing this up.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: So HN, I wrote an article about this today, guys.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: the running back pro bull or from Miami.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: So their GM, John Eric Sullivan's act, he had his pre-draft press conference yesterday.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: And in it, I mean, I can read the direct quote, but he said literally answering the question, he is not available for trade, HM.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: And so as I'm writing this up, I'm structuring the article around, look, the Broncos got their final answer on HM.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's at least publicly, he's not available.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: But, of course, the devil's advocates, Zach, or the cynic, or like Chase is bringing up here, you often do this, Zach, when we talk about coach speak and GM speak.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: What else are they going to say, right?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, it's true Zach that not often does a GM stand up and admit when a player is is on the trade block, but at the same time, the reason I actually believe Sullivan in this case is because they got to have some semblance of a core for Jeff Haffley to have even a snowball's chance in hell at turning that program around and the fire sell they've had, man, everybody's gone like a chance in the last guy they got.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they do have Malik Willis, maybe they could just run the ball with him.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: They don't get a running back.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: They're listen, it could be a case where he's being genuine.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: They're not going to trade HN.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think the brokers are going to go back to that well after trading for a water.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: But what Chase is saying here is something that I really agree with.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot tell you how many times a general manager or a coach in any sport, not just in a field.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: has said that we're not trading a player, we're not doing it, we're not doing it, and then they end up trading them.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll say this again, if I watch Von Miller get traded by the Broncos, if they can trade Von Miller, they can trade for anybody else, anything can happen, although I consider it unlikely.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: I especially consider it unlikely a channel landing in Denver like the fit from a scheme perspective sure, but in terms of the personnel they have in the commitments they have there, what you're going to go give up ridiculous amount more of draft capital to bring in a guy who's going to end up being your third running back, plus you're going to have to pay him, he wants an extension.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so, like the fit scheme sure, Sean Payne can make a lot of hate with that dude, don't get me wrong.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: But from just like an environment personnel, he's not coming to Denver, HN.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like Franco's fans are in particular, just needs to remove that from the conversation.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: But it will be interesting to see Zack as Chase says, just how true this thing with solveness
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: he could be a name like he's a name to watch as a surprise pardon me shock trade during the draft even though I'm not expecting it.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: If you pick up a running back like H and who's explosive, but he's extremely injury prone, it kind of sounds like Dobbins.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's like having two really nice shirts shed, but having no pants.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's like what's the point?
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: You're not supposed to double up on something you already have, get something you don't have.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: They have an injury prone guy.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: They have a commitment and a loyalty it seems and a hope for JK Dobbins.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: You don't need, I think, at this point.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: It'd be a nice to have guy,
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: Smouse in the house, a deer member, a bonafide O.G.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: Superstar, reminding everybody to smash the like button for the algorithm.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: Eight likes, really, guys?
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: Is there really a late likes on this on this stream right now?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: You guys are breaking our hearts.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: Come on now in all seriousness.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Zachary.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate you.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: And yes, guys, I know sometimes it's easy to forget, but while you're with us hitting the like button goes a long, long way.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for that.

- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see what guaranteed says.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for a second super chat tonight big dog.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_02]: You guys have no idea the support we get from you all on super chat and stars this time of year like it is just absolutely
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, crucial to keep in the lights on it really is so thank you guys.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: Garan, thank you buddy.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: He says I'm not feeling in joke who Zach, who would we need to package with Jared Stidham to get McBride interesting Zach.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts?
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is all again, just talk because we're trying to make it to the draft.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's a fun question.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'll entertain it.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: You would have to surrender a lot more than Stitham to get McBride.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: You have a better chance, I think, getting Marvin Harrison Jr. from the Cardinals.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: And you would be getting Trey McBride, who's probably the best tight end in the NFL or top three at worst right now.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to have him.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: But I really would, but I don't think the Broncos are going to make another blockbuster and they can just as easily like, I don't, I know you don't like him guaranteed, but they can sign David to Joku, former longtime starter.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: He would be an upgrade.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think on Evan Ingram, he wouldn't have to give up any draft picks.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: He would be cheaper than Tramick Bride as well.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot to like about possibly signing David to Joku after the draft.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and you just, I think, and again, it could have been smoke, all right, it's lying season could have been a smoke signal, but George Peyton, when he was asked about trading into the first round, the fact that he said it would cost us quite a haul and most of our draft this year, plus something next year.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: It kind of shows you where their mindset is at, I think right now, which is they made their big splash move, pardon me, with a kind of frog in my throat tonight.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: But they made their big splash move with Jalen models.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I think now it's about preserving the resources they have to continue keeping the influx of talent through the draft the next couple of years, flowing because Bonax about to get expensive really quick here.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: After this next season, guys, he can officially, he'll be eligible for an extension.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't imagine the Broncos are going to waste too much time getting the ball roll.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: that's a really good point and it's not because of this in a vacuum by itself, but it's also the reason or part of the reason that I think the Broncos will stay put at 62 in round two or possibly move back a few spots and collect more capital.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: If anything though, they might move up.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: If they do move up, it's not going to be a blockbuster.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I think right now, maybe I'm wrong, but they committed their blockbuster already and they did well getting Jalen Waddle.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, oh yeah, but I'm curious why you don't like in joke, you though, my brother, because he is older, but he's still younger than Ingraham.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's 29 last night checked.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_02]: I know he's entering Zach his age 30 season.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, let me just double check when he turns 30.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's turns 30 in July.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 38:13[SPEAKER_02]: and Evan Ingraham just for the record.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_02]: Let's remind.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: And also, they're both part of the same draft class 2017.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: Ingraham's 31s.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_02]: So he's just over two years older.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_02]: So you'd get a little bit more
- 38:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, out of debt.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care who's that.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just get to Diana.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: She deserves it.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: Who cares about me.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Anna.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's incredible.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much, Diana.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: So much.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's amazing.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: hats off hats off.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_02]: God bless you.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much, lady D. I mean, you don't you have no idea.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you do how how meaningful that is to us and how helpful.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that is to us, especially this time of year and especially this year in particular, 2025 was rough.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_02]: for our line of work and 26 has been even rougher so far in our line of work.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you so much, lady.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: She says evening chat and Zach just sending some love your way.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: We're filling it.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's for sure.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Diana.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: We're definitely filling the love.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: She says I'm just excited for the draft to begin.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: Hello to everyone in the chat.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: I would be fine with an offensive line pick at 62.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: Still want Jacob Rodriguez or Jake Gold, they have the two linebackers.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: Super excited for the season to start.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: I still hope they eventually pick up David in Joku, like, share, and subscribe, MHH for life.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: Gauly, love you, Dianna.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: you know Chad really quickly let me just take a second we we we do is so much generosity on a nightly basis a lot of which has come from diana but i think back every now and then i don't want to get spoiled i think back to when we started this podcast and we couldn't even fathom in our wildest dreams the amount of support the amount of love the amount of devotion the amount of commitment that you guys have shown us on a nightly basis
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: It basically starts with this a very select few that it starts with the end of a year or at the front of that group.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: I agree with what you're saying here, but it's more important than I address how you make us feel purely humbled and purely full of gratitude.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_02]: No doubt.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: Well said, Zach.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well said, brother.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: Now on the subject of your, what you're talking about here, lady D, I could live with offensive line.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: for a couple reasons, Zach, because bulls and, and, Michelin, to your aging at the same time, and that's something that you wanna kind of try and preempt and get ahead of if you can, I don't know about you, but as much as I like Frank Chrome, the guy, I'm not sold on him being ready for a prime time, being an actual starter, being anything more, Zach than a very like spot, you'd just stepped in for a couple of series, because Mike Michelin, she stubbed his toe.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to get a legit guy that can do both.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: They can play left or right tackle.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: They don't have one of those Alchpell Chesky.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: They view him as an interior guide moving forward.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's still got that utility to play in a lot of spots, but Matt Pert came back Zach on a renegotiated contract.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: He can play some left tackle for you, offers nothing on the right side, but he's also viewed as a multi-tool interior guide, too.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: You need a bona fide, Garrett Bull's successor.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: Not because Bulls, he's going anywhere anytime soon.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: But he is getting older and when Father Time comes calling, man, it happens quick, you got to have options, someone ready to rock.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: Another option, Zach, on the offensive line, we got to remember talking about preempting moves, Ben Powers contract here.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's staying, he's here for 2026, but there's a really good chance he's gone after this year.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_02]: Who's taking over for him there?
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not convinced it's Palcessky.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think they like Palcessky as that next guy into the breach, not a starter.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why I wouldn't be disappointed if it's offensive lines that could depend on who to be even more specific, but I could get really excited about a Rodriguez or a goal day.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree 100% with what you laid out there perfectly, Chad, they can go in any direction and if you consider offensive line and guard, who do they have to count on in the pipeline, Nick Gargulo Gargulo, whatever, he's coming off a major injury.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_01]: We can't depend on him either, Chad.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's the Broncos have no A plus talent that they can look forward to in the future.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: And also consider this.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say they move on from bowls, or McGlint, she like you laid out.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: They wouldn't have to sign another high-priced tackle and spend $70, $80 million.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: You'd be getting a guy who's younger.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: He might have more upside, but he had to be on a rookie contract for four years.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: So that's something to like as well.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: Get used to the idea of fortifying the trenches.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's where football games are won.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: And by planning ahead for 2027, 2028 and beyond, that's how good teams stay good.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: You can't just think about this year.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well said brother, also as it relates to the linebacker position just to finish cover in our basis here on Diana's points.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_02]: So the consensus Bigboard has goal day ranked 55 overall and Rodriguez 45 overall.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: If it shakes out the way the consensus board is currently constructed, they'll both be gone.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: But as I was talking about Zach earlier in the show, it almost never.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it never does shake out this way.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_02]: Teams internal view on sometimes there.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's exactly the same Zach as the outside view.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like right now, just to make it ultra simplified.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: So everyone gets what I'm trying to say here.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, Mendoza is going number one.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: no matter who had that pick at number one, if they need a quarterback, their quarterback need a team, it's gonna be Mendoza.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: So sometimes it's pretty obvious in a line, but the farther you get from the first round, the more it starts, the possibilities and the variables start to become magnified and multiplied.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: So I could see one of those two guys being there at 62.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be really bummed Zach.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_02]: If one of those guys were there and they didn't take him, but I guess it would also depend on who it was they actually did take.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: But I still have a feeling I hate to disappoint anybody.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I'll be wrong.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: But looking back at these second rounds guys, since George Peyton's been in the front office, the only guy that really was like, oh yeah, duh, it was Javante.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_02]: That was his first draft.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: They traded up to get him.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: Every other second round pick from then on out was kind of a headscratcher.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: So, we'll see.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was going to say to myself, for I was going to say out loud, I was thinking to myself, well, the Broncos, they could move up maybe for a Rodriguez, if they like them that much.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: But then I'm thinking to myself, if they do that chat, it's kind of bad management.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_01]: Because why would you bring back Sternat, Sternat, Sternat, whatever, and singleton and position them as starters, you cut Drake Greenlaw, then you're going to trade up in the second round for a linebacker.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: If he falls, I think Jay Ross should be the pick.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know though that I would like the Broncos to move up for him.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: in a consolation prize, linebacker, it could be gold day, Anthony Hill, a trotter, that's a position that no one's talking about, really, I mean, everyone's focused on tight end and now it's offensive line, but linebacker just because they brought back to, as you mean, they're going to trade up for one, but if they stay put in one falls in their labs, I can see that happening as well.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, on this subject of linebacker, Sean Peyton was asked today, pardon me, whether Jonah Ellis playing more inside linebacker changes how the Broncos are evaluating the position relative to the draft.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: Quote, I think it can change.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: There are probably a little bit more inside linebackers than what we're used to in this draft.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: There is certainly good video on a number of guys that position has changed over the years where you're finding guys who are moving from safety to that position or from an edge position back.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_02]: There are certainly some players that are playing that position well at the college level, but that's one option.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_02]: I mentioned that because Ellis has those traits and it starts with just being a good football player.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_02]: We're always trying to get our best players on the field.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: Does that impact how we draft or vice versa?
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: That would be the six million dollar question.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a little bit of both, close quote.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: So that's a lot of words to really say nothing at all.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I hope he's not being genuine here because basically he's saying you want to get your best linebackers on the field.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: And in this case, your best linebacker or one of them would be a converted outside linebacker and not your traditional to linebackers that you resigned, Instagram ad in Singleton.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'm looking too much into it.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: I hope this is a smoke screen, though.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: chat.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: Ultimately, this is my conspiracy theory really quickly.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: They're teasing the Jonah Ellis move at linebacker.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: So everyone doesn't think the Broncos are going to turn around and take a linebacker and they will.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I hope happens.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_02]: Very interesting.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_02]: And it's exactly the kind of orchestrations
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: War Room, which by the way, Zach, this is the last one they talked about it today.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's their last time in this war room, and then it gets destroyed, they move into the new headquarters in June.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a little bit bittersweet.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_02]: On one hand, they're retiring the current war room and it's gone by by forever.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: On the other hand, they're upgrading to some new digs.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: Imagine how dope that war room in the new facilities going to look like imagine all the capabilities and the technology they're going to have in there The facility looks amazing.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited for it
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: Same here, lady D, love you so much.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, the top rope.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: It means so much to us.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_02]: So great to see it and her other message in the chat shout out to everyone respect to my chat family too.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: She loves you all guys just like we love lady D. So good to see you.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you again.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: uh... the rock celebrating eight months of being a mile high-huddle member on youtube that's the entire existence of us having the membership offering day one rock was there because he's an og and made jager for life and he says that jacabrod regas no matter what for me
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, if there's a player that you're going to have high conviction on that you're going to go the no matter what route from draft day before J. Rod would be the no doubt option.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's the safest and he also has tons of upside again.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if he's going to be there at 62.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think he goes well before, but for me, he's like the tray Henderson.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: I know he's a different position, but there's always one player.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: You really hope false to the Broncos that probably won't for me this year.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's Jacob Rodriguez.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's definitely one of them for me.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: Joderian Price is another.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: You know, in terms of really falling to the Broncos, maybe stowers, maybe, maybe, but I'm not convinced, I'm not convinced of, of stowers for whatever, it's worth rowdy though jumps in Zach to say, I agree Zach, if you look at our top 30 visits, not many inside linebackers, mostly only at the combine, I think inside linebacker is round one, they typically do not draft folks, they bring in smoke.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, we have another very generous, uh, a super waiting for us.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'll keep my comments very quick and brief.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, that's a good, good shout, Routy.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot to look into.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: You drive yourself crazy trying to put it all together.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: You basically become a detective and trying to piece the, the case and the mystery together.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: And we, we can't do it until the draft.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: But thank you for the comment and thank you, Michaela, preemptively.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: Man, thank you.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what Zach and I and Scott did to earn the amount of love and support we get from you guys and where we stand on the carmic wheel, but all I can say is thank you.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_02]: God bless you.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, again, it's people have a hard time understanding like in my family what it is, we do.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: They don't quite get it.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: Most people never will, Michaela, like they don't understand.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: what this community means to us and why we do it, and why we show up night after night, and I can tell you, we show up, and I hope you can fill this.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: Michaela, not just you, lady D, everybody in the chat, whether you've super chatted once, or never super chatted ever.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you feel what I'm about to say, and that is, we genuinely care about the people in our community, like the chat.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you guys feel that.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like we see you, we recognize you, we take a genuine interest in you,
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: And so, that's why we keep showing up and golly to extremely generous super.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: Do you have to just drop to another one?
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to in a second, but Michaela, this is a, this is a, max out on YouTube super chat.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: YouTube won't allow.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_02]: bigger than that super chat.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_02]: And all I can say, Michaela, is thank you so much.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: God bless you.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: We love you.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do to help us keep pushing MHH forward by the way.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: We've had a nice little surge of subscribers the last week or two, or almost a 40k or under a 1000 now till we hit.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: And when we hit, we're going to do some fun celebrations when we hit 40,000 raffle off some stuff.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be fun, but my Kayla, thank you for helping us get there my friend.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: She says not to be outshined by my girl, Diana.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: which by the way, in case you don't know, they're very good friends.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_02]: This I can attest to.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: She says, I wouldn't mind a tackle in second round and get a running back in the fourth, then sign in Joku after the draft.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: With Ellis' backing up the inside linebacker, we can wait another year for linebacker.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: If he pans out, Michaela, that's true, right?
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: Zack, like, if Ellis pans out, who knows, maybe Drew Sanders,
- 52:35[SPEAKER_02]: stays healthy.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: If he stays healthy, he's a great option as a third or fourth guy.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: But then he expires his contract after 2026, even if all those stars do align.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, your thoughts here from a Kayla's act.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Michaela, what, again, I'm tongue tied right now because I felt like I've said this so often to you throughout the years and I have
- 52:58[SPEAKER_01]: but it's never lost on me or chat or anyone involved.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: Just how generous you guys are and just how supportive and how tough it would be if we didn't have your support.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: And you guys make it so it doesn't feel like work ever.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like a passion, it feels like a love that we do a commitment and a love that we show the Broncos and the podcast and everything.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: And you are leading that charge.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mentioned Deanna at the front of the crowd, you're right there in next door, Michaela.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know I told you this in person.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you again at the meeting greet this fall.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for all you do.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously, thank you so much.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: It touches me personally.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I agree, you're on the New Joker train.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_01]: We have some comments that Chatter say, they don't want David and Jilko.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's smart.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_01]: Hold your draft picks.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_01]: Don't trade up for one.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: Don't trade for a Kyle Pizz.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_01]: The Joker would be great and attackle.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad you're coming around to it.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: Most importantly, though, D. Michaela, I'm happy that you're coming around to a positive draft result.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: I remember not too long ago, you were very down on the Broncos, especially before they acquired Jalen Waddle.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm happy to see you happy, I'm happy to see you excited about the draft, and I like the way you're thinking here because you'd be solving two of the biggest problems on the offense.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, what I love is she Michaela is as passionate of Broncos fan is I've ever met and also as plugged in and educated as Annie Broncos fan.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like she often Zack, not just in these chats, but she'll like text me, do you hear about this?
- 54:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, no, I haven't heard about what?
- 54:29[SPEAKER_02]: And then I'll look into it, sure enough.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, just the other day I wrote an article based on stuff she brought to the table that's on sports illustrated.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_02]: in the in the mile high meltbag her and lady D from a couple days ago so anyway the whole point is she's as dialed in and plugged in and passionate as it gets and just like all of this when it comes to our passions you know we ride those waves sometimes the motions burn hot and when we get disappointed it it can burn
- 54:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, even hotter, but in the opposite direction, and it was cool, man.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of the first thoughts I had, no lie, when the Broncos made that move.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, Oh, my kale is going to be stoked.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it's just like we talked about before with Bonyx.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: She was so down in the Broncos, and so many fans were, and then seeing her energized.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I just love seeing Michaela happy.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: I love seeing Broncos fans happy, and I'm just feeling this support right now.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm feeling very humbled by it.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Michaela.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah and she's she says love you more love you guys and I hope you know how much everyone in the chat loves you Michaela the Duchess lady D also jumping in again to say you guys with a very generous super bring us such joy every time you're on we love you both David says high the dolphins fan who's one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet we do need a line
- 55:56[SPEAKER_02]: Lady D said, ah, ah, ah, ah, we need a linebacker, or McKay, I was like, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah,
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: All right, like you can go all the way back to 2004.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: That was the last time they drafted one in the first round, a true inside linebacker DJ Williams.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: After that, the two highest draft picks invested on an off-ball linebacker, sorry Scott, was Nader being in 2011 and Drew Sanders in 2023 and then Drew Sanders didn't work out or hasn't anyway up to this point.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_02]: So it will be no great shock to me when I'm getting out lady D if it's not a linebacker and round two, but maybe they take one round four.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: You ready for this one, Deanna?
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for your generosity.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_01]: As always, thank you so much.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it's what I love though, Chad.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like you mentioned that there's a riff that I know you're saying it playfully, but it's what I love about the draft this year for the Broncos is that everyone has an opinion.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone, there's a lot of debate going on right now and constructively, it's not just shouting and cursing and screaming, it wasn't really that fun in 2024 when we knew
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: the Broncos would take a quarterback and round one.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: We just didn't know the quarterback.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of fun now knowing they can go pretty much any direction and on the the results are endless.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_02]: No doubt about it, lady D, much love and respect.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_02]: Give me a pass on the David.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_02]: All right, guys.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we're about out of time.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_02]: So before we dip on out of here, I want to just read this from around here.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: He says, MHH has the friendliest humble Broncos fans that I've seen in Broncos countries pretty remarkable.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_02]: appreciate you all letting me get rowdy with you and state my opinions.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I really appreciate you saying that rowdy because I genuinely agree with you.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think our community is as welcoming and kind and supportive, just generally speaking of others.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, I think that's something that we try to cultivate to as hosts, that kind of a community and dynamic.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if you come in here with bad intentions and in bad faith, just like Zack did a couple of nights ago, you will get slam dunked, you will get thrown up against the wall and cold clocked, but only bad faith actors.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone else always gets multiple benefits of the doubt before the hammer drops.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: it wasn't that the dude and shout out to shot.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: I know he's listening out there somewhere despite him being thrown away from the chat.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't that he was a chargers fan.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: It was that he was becoming disrespectful to the chat and to the podcast and everything.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: We're even tolerance who opposing fan bases.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: We've had other reporters and stuff like that on from other fans, other teams as well.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're tolerant to an extent.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: because the fan bases because you guys are, you make it so fun each and every day and I would expect nothing less from you rowdy stouty than to continue being rowdy.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_02]: No doubt.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_02]: All right, guys.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_02]: We got a couple messages for you, then we'll take one last look at the chat.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_02]: Do not go anywhere.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like what Scott said here.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't get banned for having an opinion.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: You got banned for being a, you know what, but that was another trip to a minutes episode of the mile high huddle podcast.

- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, thanks for bringing this up, Rock.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Payton is now a grandfather after his daughter had her baby.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_02]: So pretty cool to see.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_02]: Congrats to the Payton family.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_02]: Also, in case you missed it, TJ Ward will be announcing Super Bowl 50 hero, TJ Ward.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be announcing the Broncos Day 2 pick.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_02]: So that'll be fun to see.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_02]: Also, when last thing before we dip out here, I wanted to grab this question, Zach, from Raj, who's been going through some pretty tough times himself on the health front, and you've been in everybody's thoughts and prayers, big dog, and hopefully, from what I can see in your comments tonight at the top of the chat, things are trending in the right direction, so we're really glad to hear that.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_02]: But he wants to know specifically who do you want at 62 and do you see the Broncos trading up we're almost at a time and we're over our one hour mark, but let's let's answer him.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: I get throw out a few players ideally that I would want Jacob Rodriguez like we've talked about Chad always brings up today Aryan Price and that would be fantastic.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_01]: I would would not mind Mike Washington if he fell into the Broncos left.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't mind an offensive line lineman in that spot as well.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I could talk myself into maybe Chad and I are split on this, but no such thing as too many weapons for Bonix, I can talk myself into Eli Stowers at 62 also.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_02]: I hate to be this wet blanket, but again, guys, I'll, I'm going to answer this question, Roger.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm telling you right now, it's probably going to be someone we don't expect.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_02]: Now, when it comes to wish list caliber guys, Mel Kieper Jr. yesterday, mocking Caleb Banks, the big Florida defensive tackle, I would be over the moon if that happened.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_02]: Zack did a good job mention a couple other names.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to throw Lee Hunter out there.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_02]: Although I would be less excited for Lee Hunter than I would Caleb Banks.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned the running backs tight end guys I'm telling you it would be perceived in the greater media as a reach, but if it were Oscar Delp at 62, I'd be over the moon about that.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_02]: We've talked about the linebackers we really like at 62, you know, I'm not as stoked Zack on the possibilities at that spot for offensive line, but
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_02]: Jennings Dunker is a guy to watch.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_02]: The Iowa kid, um, big red headed just gets after a guy that would fit very well.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, he'll probably like Eric puts it be given the opportunity to fail inside, meaning get a chance to play right tackle if he can't hang on.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: then move him inside to guard where he could be dominant.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_02]: Scott and I got a chance to watch him for several days at the senior bull and he's impressive lad.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_02]: So there you go, Raj.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: Some names for you big dog before we get out of here, though.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: And no, I don't see him trading up.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe to, or not into the first round.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_02]: I could see him trading up in the second round.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I might have been a little bit too bold in my eye here's what's going to I could see them trading up as far as like 45 maybe, you know, wouldn't surprise me at all.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_02]: So mile high salute though, special shout out to all the great super chat super stars supporters, the dear members each and every one of you helping us keep the lights on tonight like the lady D and Michaela from the top rope just showing phenomenal support and.

- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, guarantee a couple of different super celebrating rock eight months as a member, much love and respect guys.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_02]: So Zack and I, we uh, we're often till Sunday, but when we return Sunday, we'll be kicking off draft week officially.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_02]: And then Tuesday night, here's an announcement.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_02]: Tuesday night will be the MHH mock draft war room where we'll have we'll go as a staff and
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_02]: do the whole as you guys are used to us doing now for many years mock draft exercise like really war room it and have some fun.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then Wednesday night, Zack and I Thursday night is the first round of the draft and even those that the Broncos are not picking in the first round will still be doing our watch along draft draft streams.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_02]: Zack and I will be there for a good chunk of the first round, but MHH will be streaming through every second of the draft.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_02]: So look forward to that and it's going to be a great week next week.
