- 0:12Speaker 1: It's time hell level lo lo love, lower Love. Hello,
- 0:16Speaker 1: welcome to the Naughty but Nica. I'm your house to
- 0:19Speaker 1: ram Shooter. It is Tuesday, which means our dear friend
- 0:22Speaker 1: Delana Dixon joins us. Hey, Misty, are you there?
- 0:26Speaker 2: I am, and I'm just trying to stay warm. It's
- 0:28Speaker 2: so cold, Dear New York.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I like it. I do like it. My neighbors think
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm mad. It's a massive snowstorm blanketing New York at
- 0:37Speaker 1: the moment. I'm up on the fifteenth floor, so I'm
- 0:40Speaker 1: quite high up, Misty, So it feels like I'm in
- 0:41Speaker 1: a snow globe. It feels like somebody shook the city
- 0:44Speaker 1: and ran the windows. All this beautiful snow is falling.
- 0:47Speaker 1: But everybody, stay stafe, stay warm. Let's jump into the show.
- 0:50Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is time. Big
- 0:54Speaker 1: story at the top of the show. So Nicko Rainer
- 0:56Speaker 1: has pled not guilty in a brutal double murder of
- 1:00Speaker 1: his parents. Let me explain. So he was in court
- 1:03Speaker 1: on Monday yesterday two counts of first degree murder in
- 1:06Speaker 1: the stabbing death of his father, the acclaimed director Rob Bryner,
- 1:11Speaker 1: and his mother, Michelle. He appeared in a downtown court.
- 1:15Speaker 1: He was in shackles and a brown jail jumpsuit. He's
- 1:19Speaker 1: thirty two years old. He looked stone faced. I had
- 1:22Speaker 1: people in the court who said he didn't really make
- 1:24Speaker 1: any emotion at all. In fact, the only one word
- 1:27Speaker 1: he said was yes when he was asked a question
- 1:29Speaker 1: by the judge. He's being held without bail at the
- 1:32Speaker 1: Twin Towers Correctional Facility here. That's a tough place. He
- 1:37Speaker 1: faces a lifetime in prison and also to the death
- 1:41Speaker 1: penalty is still on the table. His next appearance is
- 1:45Speaker 1: April twenty ninth. This is the first time we have
- 1:48Speaker 1: seen Nick. He looks thinner, his hair, head is shaved.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Clearly not not a well human being. What was interesting
- 1:56Speaker 1: to me, though, mister, is the family. We reported this
- 1:58Speaker 1: first on this part. The family is no longer paying
- 2:02Speaker 1: his legal defense. They are not paying for it, and
- 2:05Speaker 1: they were not there. They're not going to turn up
- 2:07Speaker 1: be that. What do you think?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, So, originally he had this very high profoil lawyer
- 2:12Speaker 2: named Alan Jackson who's done some major celebrity cases. But
- 2:17Speaker 2: basically his brother and sister are no longer paying for
- 2:21Speaker 2: his defense. So it was up to a million dollars.
- 2:24Speaker 2: As you can imagine, this is something that's going to
- 2:26Speaker 2: cost a lot of money. So now he has a
- 2:29Speaker 2: public defender, and I believe her name is Kimberly, and
- 2:34Speaker 2: that's because he can't afford to provide his own counsel.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So it's really interesting and we'll have to see what's happened.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But what I find fascinating about this is that he
- 2:47Speaker 2: was in a brown jumpsuit. So if you guys don't know,
- 2:50Speaker 2: my mom worked in the criminal justice facility in New York.
- 2:55Speaker 2: She was a superintendent, which is equal to a warden.
- 2:58Speaker 2: And in New York State, people who are under who
- 3:03Speaker 2: are criminally charged to wear green when they're in jail.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So it's interesting that in LA they wear brown, here
- 3:08Speaker 2: in New York they wear green. Just a little fast.
- 3:11Speaker 1: We love a detail, my friend, We love a detail.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I can't imagine what's going on in this family. I've
- 3:15Speaker 1: spoken to sources. They love their brother despite what they
- 3:18Speaker 1: believe he has done. Once again he said he is
- 3:21Speaker 1: not guilty. I think the evidence clearly does not seem
- 3:24Speaker 1: to confirm that. However, at the moment he has he
- 3:28Speaker 1: has not been convicted. So let's be careful there I
- 3:30Speaker 1: think we all know what we think, but we are
- 3:33Speaker 1: not there yet legally. But they're not there. This is
- 3:37Speaker 1: their parents that were murdered, murdered by somebody that they
- 3:41Speaker 1: think they loved, and so I can't imagine. I can't
- 3:45Speaker 1: imagine the grief of having your parents taken away in
- 3:50Speaker 1: such a horrific manner. But they're ad on top of
- 3:54Speaker 1: that grief that the person who potentially did it was
- 3:57Speaker 1: someone that you love too, And it's just so complicated.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You're right at first, there was a very high powered
- 4:04Speaker 1: lawyer who earned a lot of money. They don't come
- 4:06Speaker 1: cheap with those lawyers. And Nick doesn't have the money.
- 4:08Speaker 1: He never had a job. He lived in his parents'
- 4:10Speaker 1: guest has. In fact, they paid him an allowance. I
- 4:13Speaker 1: think he got twenty thousand dollars a month just to
- 4:15Speaker 1: live and free rent. This has reminded me a little
- 4:19Speaker 1: bit mystery of what are the Royals going to do
- 4:21Speaker 1: with Andrew? Are they going to pay for his defense?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Andrew's going to get a trial. The former Prince Andrew
- 4:26Speaker 1: is in a lot of trouble. He was arrested in Britain.
- 4:28Speaker 1: They arrest you and then they let you go, and
- 4:30Speaker 1: he has not been charged yet, and so he's back home.
- 4:33Speaker 1: But who's going to pay his fees? It's a fascinating
- 4:37Speaker 1: question which brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Would you pay your siblings, your brothers, or your sisters
- 4:45Speaker 1: legal fees? You love your brother, you love your sister,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you love your family if they had been accused of
- 4:52Speaker 1: killing somebody that you also loved. I love my sister Christine,
- 4:56Speaker 1: but I love my mum more. And so this is
- 4:59Speaker 1: a very, very difficult on a tough question today. Hey,
- 5:03Speaker 1: come out there, go vote on a Twitter page at
- 5:07Speaker 1: naughty Nice Rob. At Facebook page is naughty GRSIP. I'm
- 5:11Speaker 1: sure to check back to mar Rault to hear your results. Hey,
- 5:14Speaker 1: miss d what are you working on?
- 5:16Speaker 2: Well, it's all anybody has been able to talk about
- 5:19Speaker 2: for the last forty eight hours. It's of course about
- 5:22Speaker 2: the BAFT Awards. So now Jamie Fox is a blasting
- 5:27Speaker 2: Tourette's activist John Davidson after he shouted the N word
- 5:30Speaker 2: during the two twenty twenty six BAFT of Film Aworlds
- 5:34Speaker 2: while Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo of the Movie
- 5:37Speaker 2: Centers were presenting the Best Visual Effects Award. And so
- 5:41Speaker 2: basically Jamie Fox is saying it's unacceptable. He wrote this
- 5:44Speaker 2: on Instagram. Out of all the words you could have said,
- 5:47Speaker 2: Taurette's makes you say that. Now. Of course, John Davidson,
- 5:51Speaker 2: as we know, he was there because there was a
- 5:54Speaker 2: film made about his life dealing with Tourette's, and so
- 5:57Speaker 2: he has come out and said it was an involved
- 6:00Speaker 2: and derry tick, saying he's deeply mortified if anyone believed
- 6:03Speaker 2: it carried intent.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Of course he was there to celebrate his movie, actually
- 6:08Speaker 2: the actor who played him in the movie one, but
- 6:10Speaker 2: he left the ceremony as early as backlash erupted. Now,
- 6:15Speaker 2: BAFTA has since taken full responsibility for the comfortable scene,
- 6:19Speaker 2: but online outrage is still raging, and there's several reasons
- 6:23Speaker 2: once people are trying to understand, like where's that three
- 6:26Speaker 2: second person? Why didn't they press the button? Obviously, what
- 6:30Speaker 2: makes us so complicated is Tourette's is a disease or
- 6:34Speaker 2: a situation that can make you say, you know, words
- 6:40Speaker 2: that are inappropriate. But if they knew that this man
- 6:44Speaker 2: could do that, why wasn't there some kind of preparation
- 6:47Speaker 2: made for that a lot of people are saying Alan
- 6:50Speaker 2: Cumming coming back on the show and asking the audience
- 6:54Speaker 2: to understand, but not apologizing directly to Michael and Dell.
- 7:01Speaker 2: So there's just so many things where there just seems
- 7:04Speaker 2: to be problems in it always. And I'm going to
- 7:06Speaker 2: take my moment as a black woman. I'll put on
- 7:09Speaker 2: my black woman hat because that's what I wear twenty
- 7:10Speaker 2: four hours a day. That's when you need that black
- 7:13Speaker 2: person in the room that says, let's take a moment
- 7:16Speaker 2: just to think of the complications that could happen here.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And I've just been doing a little bit of research
- 7:23Speaker 2: about the disease. No, the word isn't made up in
- 7:26Speaker 2: your mind, but with Tourette's you can have a situation
- 7:30Speaker 2: where bad words are in your mind and because it's
- 7:34Speaker 2: kind of forbidden, that's what the disease makes you say.
- 7:39Speaker 2: So it's very complicated. I want to get too much
- 7:41Speaker 2: medical because I'm not a medical person. And if there
- 7:43Speaker 2: is anybody who has commentary that can dig deeper, please
- 7:46Speaker 2: share on the Facebook page. But it's just so many levels.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I don't think anybody's blaming John Davidson for what he said,
- 7:54Speaker 2: but they are blaming that nothing was done to make
- 7:56Speaker 2: sure it didn't happen.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, there was no safeguards. And let's remember this show
- 8:00Speaker 1: was not live, it was taped. So when they aired it,
- 8:03Speaker 1: when the BBC aired it hours later, why didn't they
- 8:07Speaker 1: remove that? They removed other stuff. There was a Palestine
- 8:10Speaker 1: a pro Palestine comment that was removed, but this was
- 8:15Speaker 1: not removed. The BBC has apologized. I think it's really important, mystery,
- 8:20Speaker 1: to have diversity in the room. When we had our
- 8:23Speaker 1: morning show, you were the only person of color on
- 8:25Speaker 1: that set, and you've saved us many many a time
- 8:30Speaker 1: when we nearly said stuff that was now and it
- 8:34Speaker 1: was back then too, but we didn't know it was
- 8:36Speaker 1: so stupid, wildly inappropriate. And so I think your perspective
- 8:40Speaker 1: on this is the most important, not mine, mystery. So
- 8:43Speaker 1: we'll keep moving on. It's the day of complicated stories,
- 8:45Speaker 1: isn't it. So this story is very complicated too. Eric
- 8:48Speaker 1: Danes go fund me page has been put on hold
- 8:51Speaker 1: after backlash saying some people are saying, In fact, a
- 8:54Speaker 1: lot of people are saying, is ain't you rich? People
- 8:56Speaker 1: supposed to have money? So let me explain. So Eric
- 8:59Speaker 1: day his friends set up a GoFundMe really for his daughters.
- 9:03Speaker 1: They're gonna have to now live a life without their dad.
- 9:07Speaker 1: That is very tough, but also to who's going to
- 9:10Speaker 1: be paying those bills. So at first they were trying
- 9:12Speaker 1: to raise a whopping two one hundred and fifty thousand,
- 9:16Speaker 1: quarter of a million. Then they bumped it up to
- 9:17Speaker 1: half a million, and that's been paused because people are saying,
- 9:21Speaker 1: is are we setting up gofundmes for millionaires? This has
- 9:25Speaker 1: happened before, This has happened with James van Derbeek and
- 9:31Speaker 1: so people who have a lot of money. Just before
- 9:34Speaker 1: his passing, he purchased a four million dollar ranch and
- 9:38Speaker 1: now there's a GoFundMe page. I think this is the
- 9:40Speaker 1: important part though, And I spoke to somebody who knows Eric,
- 9:44Speaker 1: who knows the family, and they said that nobody makes
- 9:47Speaker 1: you donate. Nobody's forcing you to donate. If you want
- 9:52Speaker 1: to donate to Eric, to his family, that's your choice.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And has he earned a lot of money being on TV? Yes,
- 10:00Speaker 1: But as we know, Misty, not everybody that's famous, not
- 10:03Speaker 1: everybody on TV is as wealthy as you think. When
- 10:06Speaker 1: we were on our show for three years, Miss my
- 10:08Speaker 1: friends thought I was a multimillionaire. Because they could see
- 10:10Speaker 1: me every morning on v H one. I wasn't. In fact,
- 10:14Speaker 1: what I got paid for that job was less than
- 10:15Speaker 1: what I got paid when I worked at Okay magazine,
- 10:17Speaker 1: Like it was not. It's not the salary that you think. Now.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Obviously he did earn good money, but he had lots
- 10:25Speaker 1: and lots of expenses. So this is set up by
- 10:28Speaker 1: friends of his kids. So far it's raised half a million.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Once again, people know who Eric Dane is, you know
- 10:36Speaker 1: what he did for a living. You have assumptions about
- 10:39Speaker 1: his wealth. But if you still choose to give money,
- 10:42Speaker 1: that's up to you. That's nobody else's choice. So I
- 10:45Speaker 1: don't think we should be in the position here of
- 10:47Speaker 1: telling people what to do. If you don't want to
- 10:49Speaker 1: donate to somebody that you perceive to be wealthy, don't donate.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It's that easy.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think if we just take a moment
- 10:56Speaker 2: to think about, unfortunately right now, how we're dealing with
- 11:02Speaker 2: bills when it comes to medical expenses. First of all,
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm not a one hundred percent sure this is my
- 11:07Speaker 2: homework for tonight. Maybe he was in the Screen Actors
- 11:11Speaker 2: Guild and got benefits through that, but how actors and
- 11:15Speaker 2: talent get their medical benefits. You know, we go to
- 11:18Speaker 2: a job, we have an employer that gives us medical benefits.
- 11:22Speaker 2: But as you hear from a lot of Americans, now,
- 11:24Speaker 2: everything is so solid high paying for your premiums, paying
- 11:29Speaker 2: just to have medical care, and if you're dealing with
- 11:32Speaker 2: a disease that just literally comes into your life. After
- 11:34Speaker 2: a year, his bills could have been a million dollars.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So I understand his friends saying, look, his children, we're
- 11:42Speaker 2: thinking about his children. I think the most important thing
- 11:44Speaker 2: is that we understand where the money actually goes. If
- 11:47Speaker 2: you're giving your ten dollars, and remember there's probably thousands
- 11:51Speaker 2: upon tens of thousands of people who have given ten
- 11:54Speaker 2: twenty nineteen dollars that's added up. But even if I
- 11:58Speaker 2: just gave ten, I want to know that it goes
- 12:00Speaker 2: to the children, yeah, and not to something else. And
- 12:03Speaker 2: I think that is why people are saying, didn't you
- 12:06Speaker 2: have the money? He doesn't need it. So as like
- 12:08Speaker 2: as they can show the paper trail of where it's
- 12:10Speaker 2: going and it's going to the children, I don't have
- 12:12Speaker 2: a problem supporting kids who have lost their father. I
- 12:15Speaker 2: lost my father at a young age, so I know
- 12:18Speaker 2: it's you know, it can be challenging and difficult when you're.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I I donated and a smaller amount,
- 12:25Speaker 1: but I felt good doing it. It made me feel
- 12:27Speaker 1: like I was tipping my hat to him and saying
- 12:30Speaker 1: goodbye to somebody that I really admired his work. Money's complicated,
- 12:35Speaker 1: isn't it. You know we're talking about diversity in the
- 12:37Speaker 1: room just a minute ago. I'm lucky that I have
- 12:40Speaker 1: a very diverse group of friends income wise too. Mystery.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I have some really really rich friends, and I have
- 12:45Speaker 1: friends that really really struggle. And money's interesting. Should if
- 12:49Speaker 1: we go for dinner? Mystery? Should the person who has
- 12:52Speaker 1: the most money pay for dinner? Should the person who
- 12:55Speaker 1: has the least money not pay for drinks? Like It's
- 12:58Speaker 1: a very interesting debate as a society, and I think
- 13:00Speaker 1: that's why we get to vote every four years and
- 13:03Speaker 1: have some sort of impact on this. But it certainly
- 13:06Speaker 1: is gosh good, great on a non controversial show, which
- 13:09Speaker 1: we tough days. We don't we don't, you know, we
- 13:15Speaker 1: don't make the stories there we we we have to
- 13:17Speaker 1: follow what's in the news. This story another one, mister,
- 13:20Speaker 1: a really interesting story. Tim Gunn is revealing he's been
- 13:23Speaker 1: celibate for over forty years. What does Tim have to say?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so obviously we know him from Project Runway.
- 13:31Speaker 1: He make it Work. Yeah, he was.
- 13:34Speaker 2: He's been celibate for forty three years following a devastating
- 13:38Speaker 2: breakup with a longtime partner who admitted to repeat it infidelity.
- 13:43Speaker 2: So Tim was on Dear Chelsea. He recalled the painful
- 13:47Speaker 2: night his ex ended their nine year relationship after confessing
- 13:51Speaker 2: to sleeping with just about everything that walked by. So
- 13:56Speaker 2: back then, you know, Tim was, he had been faithful.
- 14:00Speaker 2: He feared a possible HIV exposure, and he was tested
- 14:03Speaker 2: for six months every six months for a decade. So
- 14:08Speaker 2: that betrayal left scars, not just about the mental portrayal,
- 14:12Speaker 2: but the physical implications that could have happened. And now
- 14:16Speaker 2: the celibacy was an adjustment, but now Tim says he
- 14:19Speaker 2: wouldn't have had it any other way. And I just say, like,
- 14:24Speaker 2: I hope that you can be surrounded by love. That's
- 14:28Speaker 2: the most important thing. It doesn't always have to be physical.
- 14:30Speaker 2: So even though he was celibate and wasn't sexually active,
- 14:34Speaker 2: doesn't mean that he didn't have love in his life.
- 14:36Speaker 2: And I think that's important to make sure that we
- 14:39Speaker 2: make clear so where we think, oh, he's been sitting
- 14:41Speaker 2: at home just drinking a cup of tea. I'm sure
- 14:43Speaker 2: he has friends, family, he might even have a person
- 14:47Speaker 2: that they have a relationship.
- 14:50Speaker 1: But it's just not sexual true. You know, I hate
- 14:53Speaker 1: talking about this subject. It's not my cup of tea
- 14:55Speaker 1: at all, but I should point h Tim Gunn used
- 14:57Speaker 1: to live in the same building as man. He's sup
- 14:58Speaker 1: used to see him in the LA To make it work,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I used to say every time I saw him, I'm
- 15:02Speaker 1: sure he was annoyed with me, but he was always
- 15:05Speaker 1: with friends. He was always seemed to be having a
- 15:06Speaker 1: good time. I never actually really saw him alone, and
- 15:08Speaker 1: he was always with his girlfriends or guy friends. And
- 15:11Speaker 1: so now we know there was not anything sexual physical
- 15:14Speaker 1: involved there. I don't know about this one, and once
- 15:17Speaker 1: again I don't like talking about it, but I think
- 15:19Speaker 1: you know, it's part of life. It should be a
- 15:23Speaker 1: beautiful part of your life. And I hate to think
- 15:26Speaker 1: that somebody that did me wrong, somebody that did Tim wrong,
- 15:30Speaker 1: has changed his life for forty years. You've already hurt me.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I won't let people take stuff away. It's like when
- 15:36Speaker 1: they say, don't let the terrorists win. Lif your life
- 15:40Speaker 1: is my philosophy on this. You can have yours, you
- 15:44Speaker 1: should have yours, but mine is I would take some
- 15:47Speaker 1: time off if I went through I have been through
- 15:49Speaker 1: some bad relationships before. Bruce and I certainly had some
- 15:53Speaker 1: time alone. I think it was very important, but I
- 15:56Speaker 1: wasn't going to change the rest of my life because
- 15:59Speaker 1: I dated dies with a stinker. Don't let them win. Okay,
- 16:02Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 16:04Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty Foot Night Show. Mister.
- 16:09Speaker 1: The show always flies by when you are we are
- 16:12Speaker 1: talking talk for hours now, which is what we do
- 16:14Speaker 1: when we go out four nights a week drinking. We
- 16:16Speaker 1: just sit there and gossip, and there is one in
- 16:18Speaker 1: the morning we're like, oh my goodness, I've got to
- 16:20Speaker 1: go to bed. Okay, let's get to the poles that
- 16:23Speaker 1: we haven't been doing poles for a while because the
- 16:25Speaker 1: subject matters have been too upsetting Nancy Guthrie and the
- 16:29Speaker 1: awful awful Andrew former Prince Andrew. But today we have
- 16:33Speaker 1: got a poll. So last show we talked about Prince
- 16:36Speaker 1: William saying he's not in the calm state after the
- 16:39Speaker 1: arrest of his uncle. Are you happy that William is
- 16:43Speaker 1: revealing his true feelings? William is one of those members
- 16:45Speaker 1: of the family. He is a royal. He's modern, yes,
- 16:49Speaker 1: but he still is part of the institution. They just
- 16:51Speaker 1: don't talk about this stuff. They are not used to
- 16:53Speaker 1: talking about it. William's really trying to break the mold here.
- 16:56Speaker 1: What do you think? Are eighty five percent said? Yes,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you are happy that William is nowe speaking about his feelings.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Me too, Hey, don't forget to vote on today's poll.
- 17:06Speaker 1: A big poll today about Nick Ryan or a complicated
- 17:10Speaker 1: question today. Go vote if you can. Our Twitter pages

- 17:41Speaker 2: intimate family moments. When Emme was on the twenty twenty
- 17:46Speaker 2: Super Bowl halftime show, her daughter performed. Now, of course
- 17:50Speaker 2: these are her kids with ex husband Mark Anthony, and
- 17:53Speaker 2: she reflected on giving birth during a snowy New York night.
- 17:57Speaker 2: We know about that. She calls them her coconuts and roads.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It has always been the three of us so and
- 18:04Speaker 2: of course this is where carpets and cuddles. And we've
- 18:07Speaker 2: seen the twins grow up before our eyes. And here's
- 18:11Speaker 2: what she said, like a true mama, no matter how
- 18:13Speaker 2: grown they get grown, that's you. Their bond remains unbreakable.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I love this because that's my mama. I don't care
- 18:21Speaker 2: how call me when you out. You went walking in
- 18:25Speaker 2: the snow yesterday. I'm a baby. You call me when
- 18:28Speaker 2: you get.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Home, Mama, do a couple of things. I love this story.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Eighteen years ago, I know where I was. I was
- 18:36Speaker 1: with you, mister Okay magazine because we bid on these
- 18:38Speaker 1: baby pictures. I think we've bid five million dollars to
- 18:41Speaker 1: get the picture. We lost People Magazine, but six million.
- 18:45Speaker 1: We've seen these two grow up. It is lovely and
- 18:47Speaker 1: it's a part of j Lo that I love to
- 18:49Speaker 1: see too. You know, I worked with her many years ago,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and I think being a mom of all everything she's accomplished,
- 18:55Speaker 1: this is her proudest moment congratulations and now I'm naughty naughty?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Did he and his son King Combs, if you excuse
- 19:03Speaker 1: the expression that's his names, have had to settle a
- 19:06Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars legal bill so they didn't pay their
- 19:09Speaker 1: own lawyers. Dumb. They spent over one hundred hours. Ninety
- 19:14Speaker 1: hours of paralegal were put into this. This is going
- 19:17Speaker 1: back to a complaint in twenty twenty five. They owed
- 19:20Speaker 1: the firm at least fifty thousand. This was not the
- 19:24Speaker 1: case that we've all been talking about. This was not
- 19:26Speaker 1: the criminal case that we saw. This was another case.
- 19:28Speaker 1: They were always in trouble, always involved with the law,
- 19:32Speaker 1: always involved with lawyers. You know, pay your bills. If
- 19:36Speaker 1: someone didn't pay Puffy, he'd want that money. Pay your
- 19:38Speaker 1: bills and not is the day. Let's end with a
- 19:40Speaker 1: moment of rob So before you check your phone, before
- 19:44Speaker 1: you replay yesterday's stress, before your feet even hit the floor, pause,
- 19:51Speaker 1: wake up and make sure you breathe in, make sure
- 19:54Speaker 1: you can feel your heartbeat. Today's another shot. And that
- 19:58Speaker 1: alone is really powerful. So gratitude isn't pretending that everything
- 20:02Speaker 1: is perfect. No, it's noticing. It's choosing to notice that
- 20:07Speaker 1: everything is still there. It's still working, even in the chaos,
- 20:11Speaker 1: even in the heartbreak, even in the uncertainty, life could
- 20:15Speaker 1: be much worse, and somewhere for someone it is so
- 20:20Speaker 1: train your brain. Make your first thought every day, thank you,
- 20:24Speaker 1: thank you for this bed, thank you for this morning,
- 20:26Speaker 1: thank you for this chance. Start there and what's your
- 20:30Speaker 1: whole day shift? I have lert Misty to get up
- 20:33Speaker 1: with gratitude in my heart, in my brain, and it
- 20:36Speaker 1: makes my whole day better, particularly the bad days. It's
- 20:40Speaker 1: easy on the good days. It's so easy on the
- 20:42Speaker 1: bad days, find something to be grateful for. I'm grateful
- 20:46Speaker 1: for you. Naughtis I'm grateful for you, Missy. That is
- 20:48Speaker 1: it for today. Thank you so much for listening. So
