- 0:00Speaker 1: That somebody brought you to Dallas the younger gods, and
- 0:04that Jesus a lot of people jumped on it. I
- 0:06don't know we brought him. They jumped on it.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yeah, we Allelujah, Praise the Love. I'm truly honored to
- 0:27be here, and thank you very much Jesus House for
- 0:32the invite and the love. I want to specially appreciate
- 0:37pastal Gandhi and his dear wife. Let's give him a big,
- 0:39big hand clap. God bless you, sir, truly honored, and
- 0:45the entire leadership of Jesus House dese made. The Lord
- 0:48bless you, and I trust that our time together will
- 0:51be most profiting in Jesus's name. Shall we lift our
- 0:56hands to heaven and ask the Lord to speak to
- 0:58our hearts. The Bible declares the entrance of your word
- 1:02gives light and understanding onto the simple. Go ahead and
- 1:06ask the Lord for an encounter by his spirit. It says,
- 1:11they go from strength to strength. As many as appear
- 1:15before the Lord in Zion. Is someone praying vibalize your desire,
- 1:22it says, ye have not because ye ask not, Father,
- 1:27give me an encounter on this special Sunday, this Father's day.
- 1:33Let it be from glory to glory. For in Jesus'
- 1:37muchless name, we've prayed, Father, we thank and we honor
- 1:41you for this morning. And we pray indeed that the
- 1:45entrance of your world will give us light and understanding
- 1:49upon our hearts. For in Jesus name, we pray God
- 1:53bless you, Thank you again, and please be seated. My
- 1:59message this morning would be a blessing to everyone, but
- 2:04I just thought to also use the opportunity to honor
- 2:09the fathers. And so I'm teaching on the topic that
- 2:13I title Abbah Father, Abbah Father. Matthew, Chapter six and
- 2:21verse nine. There are many names that God is called
- 2:28in the Bible. Is called Almighty, el Shadai, elgibor. The
- 2:34Bible is full of the various names of God. And
- 2:39when Jesus showed up, he was teaching what we call
- 2:42the Lord's prayer, and he was giving them a pattern
- 2:46that would guide them whilst praying. And he said, in
- 2:50this manner, therefore, pray, And he said, our Father, in
- 2:56other words, when you submit yourself to prayer, you most
- 3:00home with the consciousness that you are not just praying
- 3:03to God, but you are praying to Father Allelujah. So
- 3:08the first point I want to establish this morning is
- 3:11that the Almighty God is also Father. As simple as
- 3:16this point is, it will alter your understanding of God
- 3:21when you know Him as Father. The Tunomy chapter thirty
- 3:26two and verse five, five and six. The Tuonomy thirty
- 3:30two and verse five the Bible in the Old Testament
- 3:33refers to God as Father, even though theologically speaking, the
- 3:38concept of God's fatherhood was known when Jesus was revealed.
- 3:43Until the manifestation of Jesus, it was difficult for them
- 3:47to understand God as Father because the dealings of men
- 3:51with God was shrouded in a lot of mysticism. He
- 3:54worked with mediators like Moses Joshua, and so the people
- 3:59did not have the privilege of a personal relationship. That
- 4:03concept of a personal relationship did not exist until Jesus
- 4:07came away together, so they would have to depend on
- 4:10men who had a covenant with God, and whatever template
- 4:15they were given from those men would be their understanding
- 4:18of God. For instance, Moses would climb up the mountain
- 4:22and interact with God alone, then come down and give
- 4:27them the law and everything that he believed God told him.
- 4:30So they were limited by the understanding of God that
- 4:34was proposed to them by their leaders. Are we together now? Yeah?
- 4:39So verse six let's look at it. Just a few
- 4:41scriptures to establish the fact that God is also called Father.
- 4:45Deuteronomy thirty two, five and six. He says, do you
- 4:53first deal with the Lord all foolish and on wise people?
- 4:57Is that KJV appreciate KJV sai as? Is he not
- 5:01your father who brought you? He's speaking to his stiff
- 5:05next people. Now he's saying, did you know that it
- 5:08took the fatherhood of God? Thank you? He says, has
- 5:11he not made thee and established thee? So the Bible
- 5:14acknowledges God as Father Isaiah sixty three and verse sixteen.
- 5:20Isaiah chapter sixty three and verse sixteen is the next scripture.
- 5:25Who consider establishing the fact that the Almighty God is
- 5:30father Isaiah sixty three sixteen. He says, doubtless, thou at
- 5:35our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel
- 5:40acknowledge us, Not thou, O, Lord at our Father, our redeemer.
- 5:46Thy name is from everlasting. You believe that's amen? So
- 5:50the Bible establishes the fact that God Almighty is Father.
- 5:55The second point I want us to understand in this
- 5:58discussion is that Jesus revealed and established the fatherhood of
- 6:04God when he walked upon the earth. Now you see,
- 6:06there are many reasons why Jesus walked upon the earth.
- 6:10Ultimately was to reconcile man to God, but you need
- 6:14to understand that many other things happen. Jesus came as
- 6:19a revelation of the Father. The Bible says, no man
- 6:23had seen the Father at any time, so he came
- 6:26as the incarnate of the Father. That the invisible Father,
- 6:29who had been shrouded in a lot of mysticism. Jesus
- 6:34came as a revelation of the Father. And hees what
- 6:38Jesus had to say about the Father. Matthew eleven twenty seven.
- 6:43Is God blessing someone already Matthew eleven twenty seven. The
- 6:48Bible says Matthew eleven twenty seven, the Book of Matthew,
- 6:53thank you. He says, all things are delivered onto me
- 6:57of my Father. And no man knows the son, he says,
- 7:03but the Father neither knows any man. The Father saved
- 7:08the son, and he to whomsoever the son shall reveal.
- 7:13So Jesus. You know, one of the reasons why the
- 7:16scribes and the pharises were angry at Jesus was that
- 7:19he brought a dimension of relationship to God that was
- 7:25against their prior understanding of God. So they knew God
- 7:29as some deity somewhere with all kinds of emotional swings.
- 7:33If you were at the wrong side of his emotions,
- 7:36then you would die. If for any reason, perchance you
- 7:40happen to attract his favor, then you would rise. And
- 7:43Jesus came and began to dispel that orientation that this
- 7:47almighty God we talk about is not just about killing
- 7:51and destroying and giving victories, but he desires the relationship.
- 7:55Are we together now? So the theology of Jesus centered
- 7:59around relationship, not just receiving things, not just using God
- 8:03for triumph in battle. And the scribes and Pharisees were
- 8:06angry because that would mean them overhauling their entire understanding
- 8:11of God. Until Jesus showed up, no man knew that
- 8:18there was a possibility for such an intimate relationship with God.
- 8:23How dare you call the creator of the heavens and
- 8:25the heath Father? There are many religions so there you
- 8:29dare not mention God as father? Are we together all
- 8:35things that delivered me? In Matthew chapter six and verse nine,
- 8:39we read that earlier. Just write for reference. So Jesus
- 8:41is teaching to pray, and it does not mention the
- 8:44word God. He says, when you pray, you must approach
- 8:48this God with a renewed orientation. Call him Father, our father.
- 8:54He said, which are in heaven. So even though you
- 8:57reside in it domain that it is not athletic, you
- 9:00are still Father. And he began to show that it
- 9:03is possible to be in a functional relationship with God
- 9:08even though you may not see him physically. Which are
- 9:13in heaven. Then he says, Hello, be your name, your kingdom. Come.
- 9:17Your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
- 9:21You are still speaking to the Father. He says, do
- 9:23not be afraid to ask the Father to give you
- 9:26this day your daily bread. Your daily bread is beyond food.
- 9:30It means all that is required for your sufficiency. It's
- 9:33called your daily bread. That means your Father. Is that meticulous,
- 9:38is that benevolent to allow you ask him even for
- 9:42the things that make for your sufficiency. And then he says,
- 9:48give us this day are daily bread the next verse,
- 9:51and forgive us. He was introducing something about God they
- 9:56had not known. Forgive does he forgive? I thought he destroys.
- 10:01Now Jesus is saying, forgive us our debts, even as
- 10:05we forgive our debtors. Then he says, lead us not
- 10:08into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for that is
- 10:13the kingdom, the power, the glory forever. I assure you.
- 10:18They were confused after that discussion, because here is Jesus
- 10:23giving them another side of God. Their understanding of God
- 10:28was a hear some mighty, invisible, mysterious entity somewhere who
- 10:34no one can really understand. If you are lucky, he
- 10:37will choose as a leader and then show him aside
- 10:40of him. Now Jesus is saying, listen, listen, while all
- 10:43of that is true, there is a deeper dimension of
- 10:46knowledge to God. Are we together now? And in its parables?
- 10:50Jesus gave many stories and illustrations to show the fatherhood
- 10:55of God. We may not have time to consider that,
- 10:58but the most classic see logical representation of the fatherhood
- 11:02of God was revealed in the story of the Prodigal Zon.
- 11:07The prodigal son is a very entrusting rendition of fatherhood
- 11:12and sonship, because it starts by demonstrating the responsibility of
- 11:16a father, like we'll be learning after now. And then
- 11:19two sons, one eventually became a rebel, and it gives
- 11:24the son an opportunity to veer up as far as
- 11:27he's able to away from the father. Then, in brokenness
- 11:31and repentance, the son now begins to return back. Did
- 11:34you know that even in the fallen state of the
- 11:37prodigal son, he did not forget that he had a father?
- 11:40He said, I will arise. He forgot every his friends
- 11:44left him, But the one thing that restaught him was
- 11:47the consciousness of fatherhood. How many hired servants, he said,
- 11:53with my father, and I am here feeding with the swine,
- 11:55He said, I will arise, and I will go to
- 11:58my father, not God. I am aware that no matter
- 12:01how broken, no matter how far, there is something about
- 12:06the nature of fatherhood that must be willing to restore.
- 12:10He was there introducing all of these dimensions of God.
- 12:14You're blessed already, say amen. Jesus himself in Acts chapter
- 12:22one and verse four. Acts Chapter one and verse four
- 12:26he left us. He said that Tarry on received the
- 12:30promise of the Father. He calls it the promise of
- 12:35the Father, not just the promise of God, the promise
- 12:40of the Father. One last scripture efficients chapter three, please
- 12:45fourteen and fifteen. Do you love Scriptures Ephicients three, fourteen
- 12:50and fifteen. It says, for this cause, I bow my
- 12:55knees onto the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, verse fifteen,
- 13:01of whom the whole family. Now this is Apostle Paul
- 13:05mentoring the church in Ephisos, and he's reiterating what Jesus
- 13:09taught them. He said, listen, when it has to do
- 13:11with prayer and the faith work, you must have that
- 13:14orientation that you are dealing with a father who has
- 13:18a family, of whom the whole family in heaven and
- 13:24Earth is named Allelujah. Now the word father comes, it
- 13:30has the Aramaic expression abba. The word apba is. Now
- 13:36you're not theologically speaking that the Old Testament was largely
- 13:40written in Hebrew, and then the New Testament was a
- 13:43combination of Greek and Aramaic. Are we together? Yeah, So
- 13:48the word father is the Aramaic abbha, the Greek is
- 13:55the word pata pat r. Both of them refer to this,
- 14:02please listen. To be called father means source number one,
- 14:08number two, sustaina, number three, protector, number four, provider. So
- 14:16in the mind of God and classically speaking, an individual
- 14:23is described as father, not just using the basis of procreation.
- 14:28Now that is important. Are we together now? Our general
- 14:32concept of fatherhood is any man who is able to
- 14:35have a child out of himself. If that were true,
- 14:39that meant that Abraham should never have been called father
- 14:42until the arrival of Isaac. But he was acknowledged as
- 14:46father even before Isaac came. That means we have to
- 14:49use other parameters, scriptural parameters. We have to go into
- 14:54the mind of God to understand his concept of fatherhood.
- 14:58He's God speaking to us already, so that the first
- 15:01in God's mind, whoever originates a process is called father
- 15:06upper the originator number two, the sustaina of that process
- 15:12that also includes family number three, the protector defending the
- 15:19interest of the people, defending the interest of the business,
- 15:24defending the interest of the church. Whoever works in defense
- 15:28to protect is called upper Father. Finally, whoever provides you
- 15:35know what it means to provide. To provide means to
- 15:37insist that there is no scarcity to ensure that there
- 15:41is sufficiency at all times. That means in the mind
- 15:45of God, no matter how many children an individual has,
- 15:48respectfully speaking, if you do not pass this test or
- 15:52being a source, being a sustainer, being a protector, and
- 15:57being a provider, you are not is someone learning now? Yes?
- 16:08So when God calls himself father, he gives you the
- 16:12opportunity to vet his fatherhood. Are we together now? He
- 16:16is not ashamed to say you test it. If you
- 16:19call me father, find me find a place in scripture
- 16:24where I am not sauce. Find a place in scripture
- 16:27where I do not sustain. Find a place in scripture
- 16:30where I do not protect. Find a place in scripture
- 16:33where I do not provide. Then you can question my fatherhood.
- 16:36So every the Bible is a compendium of the fatherhood
- 16:41of God. We see this attributes displayed once and again
- 16:45from generation to generation. The sauce number one, the sustainer
- 16:52number two, the protector number three, the provider number four.
- 16:58Are we together now now physically speaking? The concept of fatherhood?
- 17:02And please understand what I'm saying, the concept of fatherhood
- 17:08is not a concept that is left to men like
- 17:12the male specie away together. The male specie was carved
- 17:16out by God to embody this concept. But it is
- 17:20a concept that every responsible leader must understand. That concept
- 17:26of being Abba is not just left to men, because
- 17:31you will find yourself in many occasions where an individual
- 17:34who is not the man would have to play this
- 17:37fatherly role. And for any if you ever find yourself
- 17:42in that position of leadership, then you know that the
- 17:45mandate still remains Abba. So it is possible for a
- 17:49woman to still play that role, to be a source,
- 17:53to be a sustainer. Away together. Now, if you are
- 17:55the CEO of a company, for instance, with respect to
- 17:59that organization, you are about and everything a father does
- 18:03must be captured in your leadership. So fatherhood is really
- 18:08a leadership philosophy. It is not just an orientation that
- 18:12is left to the male gender. We together now, but
- 18:15God in his wisdom shows a male based on his
- 18:21arrangement of family. Are we together now to exemplify and
- 18:26imbody his fatherhood? If you believe, they say, amen, there
- 18:35are four assignments of fathers from scripture. Let's deal with
- 18:41it structurally. Now, four assignments. Is God helping us already
- 18:47for assignments? And this with all due respect is now
- 18:54to the men as well as everyone. Number one, The
- 18:57first assignment of it, true father is provision. No matter
- 19:04what else you failing as a father, you are not
- 19:08supposed to fail in this. To provide does not mean
- 19:11to provide means to make available the resources that make
- 19:17for the excelling of your family. To provide means to
- 19:22make available the resources. In Matthew, chapter seven and verse eleven,
- 19:28Jesus now is teaching. When you read from verse seven,
- 19:32he says, ask and you shall receive sick, and you
- 19:34will find when we get to verse eleven. Matthew seven
- 19:37and verse eleven, he said, is ye being evil? I
- 19:41like this? Know how to give good gifts to your children?
- 19:44Watch this? Do you know what he's saying. He's saying
- 19:46intrinsically that the heart of man is desperately wicked, and
- 19:51that even in that depraved nature of man, there is
- 19:54still the father who instinct to see your family prosper.
- 19:58That even a wicked man has conscience enough to know
- 20:01that his children should eat. Are we together now? If
- 20:05you've been evil, he said, know how to give good
- 20:09gifts to your children? He says, how much more shall
- 20:12your father which is in Heaven, give good things to
- 20:15them that ask him Father, Provider, Provider, Provider. Do you
- 20:25know as I describe the functions of Father's men, I
- 20:30am also giving you the prayer point to know where
- 20:32the devil will attack you, because Satan's attack will be
- 20:37to stop you from playing this role. So if we
- 20:40say the first role of a man is provider, that
- 20:43means he will come around your finances. That means he
- 20:46will come around everything that will encapacitate you and render
- 20:51you importent to provide will be Satan's assignment. The assignment
- 20:58of every man is also the point of attack of
- 21:03the Kingdom of darkness. Provider Provider provider in First Timote,
- 21:13Chapter eight, Chapter five, and verse eight. First Timote, Chapter
- 21:18five and verse eight. Please help us media, First Timote,
- 21:22Chapter five. The Bible says God, if any provide not
- 21:26for his own is that in your Bible he said,
- 21:29and specifically for those of his own house, he has
- 21:33denied the faith. Do you know what this means? That
- 21:36the faith experience of the believer is structured on the
- 21:39understanding of this fatherhood relationship. That means if you claim
- 21:43to be a Christian, indeed, as a man you claim
- 21:46to know God and you deny fatherhood, it must be
- 21:50captured in your Christian experience. It says you have denied
- 21:53the faith and that individual is worse than an infidel.
- 21:59I pray sincerely for every man and every father here
- 22:02that every attack on your finances, every attack on your job,
- 22:06whatever it is that incapacitates you so that you are
- 22:10not able to provide in the name of Jesus Christ,
- 22:14let that attack come to an end this morning. Allelujah.
- 22:21There are so many men around our world who are
- 22:23depressed today simply because of the inability to provide. Imagine
- 22:32that you pray to God and you say, Lord, give
- 22:34me my daily bread, and you hear reply from Heaven.
- 22:37I'm so sorry. I do not think I have that
- 22:39ability now unto him. Is it in your Bible who
- 22:45is able to do? God is always able to do.
- 22:49That's what makes him Father, Always able to do, never wanting,
- 22:54never feeling. In fact, the Bible says He's able to do,
- 22:57exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Look
- 23:02this extent of fatherhood, that even your thoughts, He has
- 23:06the power to answer your thoughts. Number two, the second
- 23:11assignment of Abbah, as revealed from scripture, is called protection.
- 23:16Please write to protect means to keep safe, To protect
- 23:22means to stop from accessing danger. Protection John chapter seventeen
- 23:32and verse twelve. John seventeen and verse twelve. The second assignment,
- 23:37Jesus is acting as a responsible father. Remember he claimed
- 23:44to be the son of God and that God was
- 23:48his father. Now he was exhibiting Father who to the disciples,
- 23:51And yes, Jesus praying, while I was with them in
- 23:55the world, I kept them in thy name that thou
- 24:00gavest me. I have kept, it says, and none of
- 24:04them is lost. But the son of Perdition look at
- 24:07a responsible father. He had to account for why Judas
- 24:10was not part of the fold. All that you have
- 24:14given me I have kept, and none is lost, the
- 24:17Bible says, except the son of Perdition, and that that
- 24:20the scripture might be fulfilled. You are a true father
- 24:25when you know how to protect, not just to protect men,
- 24:29to protect things, to protect values, Allelujah. To protect. The
- 24:40father's discipline is his attempts to protect the child from
- 24:45an imminent decadence and decline that will happen in the
- 24:50presence of lawlessness. Are we together now. The goal of
- 24:54discipline is not to vent anger. No, when discipline becomes
- 25:00a channel for venting anger, than it is it is
- 25:04an expression of the absence of self control. Are we
- 25:07together now? The primary assignment of discipline is that it
- 25:12comes as a vehicle that ultimately protects the child. I
- 25:16love your destiny too much. I will not expose you
- 25:19to failure, and I love you too much to allow
- 25:22you laughing, error and confusion. I rather you be sad
- 25:26with me now and say thank you tomorrow. Can I
- 25:30tell you whatever brings a man to a point where
- 25:34you cannot discipline those who are within your household, you
- 25:37are signing in for failure and pain in the future.
- 25:41This is true. The Bible says, a father chastises his
- 25:45sound that he loves. Is that in your Bible. Discipline
- 25:49must be seen as an overall process that leads to
- 25:53protecting whatever God gives you. Fat The Bible says, I
- 25:58know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that
- 26:01he is able to keep that which is committed onto
- 26:05him against that day and still together, say amen very quickly.
- 26:09Number three. The third assignment of fathers is mentorship and growth.
- 26:18Please write mentorship and growth is the third assignment of
- 26:23any father. When you read First John chapter two, it's
- 26:28a long read from verse one to fourteen, but I'll
- 26:31just pick out a few scriptures. Apostle John is giving
- 26:36us a very intelligent discussion. He's speaking by the spirit
- 26:41First John, chapter two, and he spoke to three categories
- 26:45of men. He was a men discussion. I write to you, fathers,
- 26:50I write to you young men. I write to you children.
- 26:56He was addressing three generations, a child, else, a young man,
- 27:02and an elder. And it had something to tell these
- 27:05three groups of men. I write to you children that
- 27:09you see not your tendencies, your lack of self control.
- 27:14You are still exploring the world, and in exploring the world,
- 27:17you will explore all kinds of things that will destroy you.
- 27:20So I write to you to caution you. I write
- 27:23to you young men. You have strength, but you may
- 27:26not have wisdom. You must learn to manage your strength.
- 27:29I write to you, fathers, because you have known through
- 27:32your pain and through your experience. You may not have time,
- 27:36but you have wisdom. So poor your wisdom to those
- 27:39who have strength, and pour your wisdom to those who
- 27:42have time. Young people have time and energy, but they
- 27:47do not have wisdom. The elderly have wisdom, but they
- 27:51may not have time. So mentorship becomes that breach that
- 27:55connects wisdom with time. This is why every generation was
- 28:00an improvement of the next. Mentorship and growth. It's God's
- 28:07speaking to someone. When a child becomes a foolish child.
- 28:14The Bible says, a white son makes a glad father,
- 28:17but that a foolish son is a reproach to his mother.
- 28:21Are we together? Now? That means every father here, let
- 28:24me charge you by God, do not hide your scars.
- 28:27Use your scars as a weapon of mentorship. Teach your
- 28:32child that I made a mistake, and at twenty five
- 28:34I was not yet established. Now you are seventeen. There
- 28:37is something I can teach you such that when you
- 28:40are twenty one, you would have covered my results of
- 28:43thirty years. Mentorship. Mentorship, Allelujah. When Pharaoh watch this. Remember
- 28:58the story of of God's people Israel. In Egypt, when
- 29:03Moses came to advocate the exodus of God's people, there
- 29:06was a negotiation that happened. Pharaoh said, all right, I
- 29:10will let the children go, but the fathers will remain,
- 29:14and Moses said no, If the children go without their fathers,
- 29:18that is a generation without guidance and in negotiated. All right,
- 29:21let the women stay and let the men go. If
- 29:24the women stay, there is no continuity. And he said,
- 29:27every one must go. Notice how Satan when he cannot
- 29:31destroy a generation, he will start fragmenting family. Men, you
- 29:35can go, leave the women behind. When children do not go,
- 29:41there is no future. When men do not go, there
- 29:44is no timing, And when women do not go, there
- 29:46is no basis for continuity. Is someone learning now? Moses said,
- 29:52I'm not yet to negotiate. The father, the mother, the
- 29:57children must go. That all three must Saah, let me
- 30:01charge every man here, do not respectfully speaking. The school
- 30:07system is only supposed to be a support system to
- 30:10the training of your children. The primary assignment of every
- 30:14father is to sit with your children and become the
- 30:17clearest description of the fatherhood of God. Teach them responsibility,
- 30:22teach them financial management, teach them courtesy, teach them honor.
- 30:27Let them understand the reality that confront our world today,
- 30:31and you would be raising champions. They may not look
- 30:33like it, but look at Jesus when it called the disciples.
- 30:36He did not just lay hands to ordain them. Look
- 30:39at the ratio of importation to mentorship three years to
- 30:43one day someone learning. Let's hurry for time. Number four.
- 30:51The last and the final assignment of fathers, and this
- 30:55is where I want to dwell for a few minutes
- 30:57and then we wrap up is continue and succession. The
- 31:03last and the final assignment of everyone called abba is
- 31:07continuity and succession. When I watch Pastor Gandhi speak here
- 31:14and he was speaking about his rapping up his moments here,
- 31:17I just know that and said, this is my salmon emotion,
- 31:20continuity and succession. You are only as great as the
- 31:25great person who succeeds you. No, the greatness of your
- 31:30lifetime comes to not if there is no successor. This
- 31:34is respectfully speaking, the tragedy that we have in our
- 31:37world today. Even within people of faith that they excel,
- 31:43they spend decades of their life accomplishing great stripes for
- 31:47the kingdom, and in one year their testimony comes to
- 31:50nought because there is no one who becomes an extension
- 31:54of whatever it is that God forbid for every man. Yea,
- 31:57I shout that God forbid that your achievements, your sacrifices,
- 32:02will not be buried because of the absence of succession.
- 32:05You believe that, say amen, now you know why Satan
- 32:09is attempting to attach your child. He picks out the
- 32:13one with the potential to be a great leader. They
- 32:16did not happen between Cain and Abel, the very first family.
- 32:21Satan attack succession immediately because until Adaman Eve, Satan had
- 32:29never known that continuity can happen through reproduction. It was
- 32:34only through creation. It was Adaman Eve that were the
- 32:37first human species to show the possibility of continuity. And
- 32:42Satan said this is dangerous. That means there can be many,
- 32:45many people coming through the womb of a woman that
- 32:47will save Jesus. And there was an attack on Cane
- 32:50and in maintain kill Abel. The goal was that whatever
- 32:53it is, let it stop and not continue. It is
- 32:57why when we find people who are buried, you pray
- 33:00and saying Jesus name be healed. He's more than a miracle.
- 33:03It is the devil trying to stop the possibility of continunity.
- 33:08He is fighting that be fruitful. Mandate continuity and succession
- 33:19Probabs Chapter thirteen and verse twenty two. I would want
- 33:23you to please listen. I'm preaching something that I intend
- 33:30to preach a few weeks after now. Also, I have
- 33:33the honor of preaching for the Full Gospel Businessman's Fellowship.
- 33:36Their global conference is happening in Africa, and this is
- 33:39one of the things that I hope I'll be able
- 33:41to share with the men. Have been very inspired by
- 33:46that organization, and when God granted me the grace, I
- 33:51told them, I said, I'll come. I think I have
- 33:54some things that I want to share that I have
- 33:57seen many people build great congloweate empires, and at the
- 34:02end of their life they sit empty and angry and frustrated.
- 34:06The problem is not a financial problem. The problem is continuity.
- 34:11Was this not the frustration of Abraham, a great man
- 34:14who had everything? And he said, Lord, what will you
- 34:17give me? Seeing that I go childless? Let's talk about
- 34:21this issue of succession. And he said, don't worry, it
- 34:24is not a liaza. I am going to give you
- 34:27a child that comes from you. And Isaac to Abraham
- 34:31was greater than his wealth, his achievement and everything that
- 34:34was where God said in Genesis twenty two, don't turn
- 34:37there just for your knowledge. He said, Abraham, take thy son,
- 34:41thy only son, whom thou love, since he represents everything,
- 34:44Go and kill him. Let me see how much you
- 34:47love me. And the Bible says Abraham arose early and
- 34:51carried Isaac. So today we claim the blessings of Abraham,
- 34:56but we must take the responsibility of Abraham back toward discussion.
- 35:03Proverbs starteen twenty two. Proverbs starteen twenty two is a
- 35:09lot provoking someone. If you can see it projected, let's
- 35:13read together, one to read. A good man leave it
- 35:18an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of
- 35:22the sinner is laid off for the righteous. Most times,
- 35:26our attention quickly goes to the b part. But I
- 35:29want to talk about the apart. The Bible says a
- 35:32good man that means, among the many things that make
- 35:35a man good is his ability to have a proper
- 35:39system of succession. Can I wrap up my teaching by
- 35:43teaching you something about inheritance? The Lord opened my eyes
- 35:48to a very powerful revelation of inheritance. To inherit means
- 35:54to receive by succession. To inherit means to receive by
- 36:00succession or by will as an heir. Hallelujah. To inherit
- 36:08means to receive by succession. So the Bible says, a
- 36:12good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. And
- 36:16the Lord led me through a series of dealings, and
- 36:19I came up with five things that every man here,
- 36:25respectfully speaking, at the end of your life, if you
- 36:29can leave these five things for those who have come
- 36:32out of you, you would have been a good man. Indeed,
- 36:35can I run through the list as we wrap up?
- 36:38Let me request that you write it first in your
- 36:40heart and then on your paper. Number one, The first
- 36:45and the greatest inheritance that every man can give his son,
- 36:50that every leader. Remember I told you fatherhood is not
- 36:54just left to men, the male gender alone, So this
- 36:57applies to everyone. Are we together, the first and the
- 37:01greatest inheritance you can give your son or those who
- 37:05come out of you. Are you ready your convictions? Write
- 37:09it down. It's amazing that most people, when we talk
- 37:13about inheritance, we're just thinking of land and estates and
- 37:17what is in the bank. And unfortunately, I hope that
- 37:21God steps in. There is a lawless generation that anticipate
- 37:25in a hurry the departure of your parents, in hope
- 37:28that they will stumble into prepared blessings now I'm not
- 37:32being sarcastic. It's with all due apology, but it is
- 37:36important that we must understand that as sons and daughters,
- 37:40if the only thing you get from your father is money,
- 37:44you failed. It is true your convictions a summation of
- 37:51your beliefs and your philosophies, because you know, like I do,
- 37:56that your life is a resultant effect of your loss
- 38:00of his. Have a summation of your understanding about God,
- 38:04about life, about failure, about victory. The first inheritance that
- 38:10must be transferred from any man who is called a
- 38:13good man to his children and his convictions. Jesus was
- 38:21speaking about Abraham that I know Genesis eighteen. You find
- 38:25that he says, I know verse seventeen and nineteen, I
- 38:29know that Abraham will teach his household. Shall I hide
- 38:33from Abraham the thing which I will do? Verse eighteen
- 38:37He says, seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great
- 38:41and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth
- 38:44shall be blessed of him. Nineteen he says, for I
- 38:47know him. This is God testifying about a man that
- 38:50he will command his children and his household after him.
- 38:55What will be the command that they shall keep the
- 38:57way of the Lord to do justice and judgment, that
- 39:01the Lord might bring upon them upon Abraham that which
- 39:05he has spoken. In other words, he's saying, teach your
- 39:09children whatever made our relationship functional, transfer that conviction to
- 39:14your children. Number two, the second inheritance that every man
- 39:22must live with his children is your name. Your name.
- 39:27Your name is a capture of your track record, your credibility,
- 39:32your impact, your value, your contribution. Let me take it again.
- 39:38Your name a summation of your credibility. Credibility can be transferred,
- 39:45your track record can be transferred, your impact can be transferred.
- 39:53Respectfully speaking, it is at this point that I continue
- 39:57to charge our great families, especially in Africa, because we're
- 40:03yet to understand the power and the value of succession
- 40:06in Africa. You see, I think that many have done
- 40:10a good job here in the West, because you will
- 40:12find families and dynasties that are decades years old and
- 40:17they are still being around. There have values, they preserve
- 40:20the name. But you know, in many, many of the
- 40:25places in Africa, you find out that there's just one
- 40:28generation of everything. This start and dies with that generation.
- 40:33The man is successful at twenty by fifty is back
- 40:36to where he was, and then he goes. Then the
- 40:38sound comes, paying the price of the father's carelessness, begins
- 40:42his own journey and repeats the same thing. God is
- 40:45speaking to someone. If names were not important, God would
- 40:49not change the names of men. In fact, he said,
- 40:51Oh Lord, our God, how excellent is your name? How
- 40:57excellent is your name? If names are not powerful, asks
- 41:02the devil, what happens when you mentioned Jesus? If names
- 41:06are not powerful, do you know at the end of
- 41:09your life, your name can become a key that opens
- 41:12a door or a pad lock that closes that door.
- 41:16Your entire lifetime is to translate your name to become
- 41:19a key or a padlock. There are children today who
- 41:23have to change your names because if they were identified
- 41:26with certain names, it would close doors for them. And
- 41:33there are people who are in a hurry to claim
- 41:35certain names, even if it's by extended relationship. It is
- 41:39not my surname. But just to let you know, I
- 41:40stay ten years in that house, do why qualify? May
- 41:45your name be so great? Listen, please hear me. It
- 41:50is not enough to be great. Your name too must
- 41:55be great. I hope you know you can be great
- 41:57and your name is not great. Less this chapter twelve,
- 42:01in Blessing Abraham, he said, I will bless you and
- 42:04make your name great. What there is the difference? He
- 42:08already said I will bless you. Then he says, what
- 42:10I will not leave your name behind. A man can
- 42:14be blessed, and yet your name is not great. When
- 42:19you are blessed alone, you enjoy that blessing in your lifetime.
- 42:24But when your name is great, all that can carry
- 42:27that name even when you are not there. Allelujah, praise
- 42:31the name of the Lord. If authority was not invested
- 42:34in the name of Jesus, would just read that the
- 42:37son of God walked upon the earth, did exploit, and
- 42:40that's it. The early Church will be a defeated church.
- 42:43But he left us his name. He invested all power
- 42:47and all glory in that name and said, go in
- 42:50my name your name. It means you must protect your
- 42:57name by all means. It is better to protect your
- 43:00name than to protect your money. Your money can go
- 43:04down and you will find it. But when your name
- 43:06goes down, it would take the grace of God to
- 43:09get it back up. Is God helping us this money?
- 43:14Number three. The third thing you must transfer every father
- 43:19and every leader to your children. Are your relationships and connections.
- 43:25Relationships and connections are transferable, your networks, relationships and connections,
- 43:33John nineteen, John nineteen, Verse twenty six and twenty seven.
- 43:39John nineteen very quickly, and then I wrap up John nineteen,
- 43:43twenty six and twenty seven. When Jesus therefore saw his
- 43:46mother and the disciples standing by whom he loved, he said,
- 43:52watch this, Watch Jesus transfer relationships. This is Jesus on
- 43:56the cross, and John is standing there, and the mother
- 44:00is standing there. And here's what John says, Woman, behold
- 44:04thy son, verse twenty seven. And he said to the
- 44:08disciple John, today, this is now your mother, the Bible says.
- 44:12And from that hour, that disciple took her to his
- 44:16own home. Now in Nigeria where I come from, the
- 44:23northern part of Nigeria, most of the people, especially the
- 44:28Muslim community, they understand this principle powerfully. They transfer relationships.
- 44:36Oh this is my son. Just to let you know
- 44:38that this has been my friend for thirty five years
- 44:41and now he's going to be the new Seeoh, could
- 44:44you have dinner with him, just discuss with him, just
- 44:46get to know him. You can transfer relationships. Relationships are
- 44:51a leverage. You may have heard me say it in
- 44:53my teachings that all blessings come from God through men
- 44:58to men. Blessings come from God through men to men,
- 45:04All troubles come from Satan through men to men. In
- 45:08any case, men are prophetic midwives. Listen, if God says
- 45:13yes and a man says no, your yes remains in
- 45:17the realm of the spirit. It takes a man or
- 45:21the wise. Deborah would not come and be negotiating with
- 45:24a young virgin that Jesus is supposed to arrive. But
- 45:27we are looking for the human versel who partner with
- 45:29Heaven to make it happen. And Mary said, beg it
- 45:32onto me. According to your world, That's how Jesus arrived.
- 45:39It is the desire of God that all men be saved.
- 45:42But where are the men that would take that gospel
- 45:44to the lost? All blessings come from God through men
- 45:50to men. Relationships are powerful. You must invest strategically and
- 45:56structurally in relationships, and there's no time to teach relationships here.
- 46:01I would have taught you that there are four kinds
- 46:03of people that if you do not have in your life,
- 46:06you are in trouble number one, divine connectors number two,
- 46:11men of influence number three, gifted men number four borden
- 46:16br us. So every time you pray that God connects
- 46:20you to men. These are the kinds of men you
- 46:23should pray for your relationships. Every father must transfer your
- 46:31relationships strategically. So number four, what is the fourth thing
- 46:37that a father can transfer to your children? Your physical assets, cash, properties, businesses.
- 46:46Can you see that what we have known to be
- 46:48inheritance is only number four? And that's so in order
- 46:52of priority, your convictions, your name, hallelujah, your relationship, ships
- 47:00and connections, now your physical assets. This was what the
- 47:10prodigal son received. Unfortunately he went straight for number four.
- 47:15He ignored one, two, three. Watch the end of a
- 47:19young boy who only received money. The Bible says, let
- 47:23me quote very quickly. One time. This gentleman gets off,
- 47:27admits his father and said, listen, I know so much
- 47:29about inheritance. I don't share whether you are dead or not.
- 47:32You're wasting my time being alive. Give me that which
- 47:37And the father said, really, where did you get this
- 47:39orientation from? I will honor you, take I am a
- 47:42good man. I will leave you an inheritance, and the
- 47:44Bible says, as soon as he received it, they were
- 47:47foolish friends already waiting for him. It is in your Bible.
- 47:51As soon as he received it, they escorted him away
- 47:55from the gates of sanity, away from the place of wisdom.
- 47:59The Bible says, he spent what he had because he
- 48:02did not have the conviction of his father. He did
- 48:05not respect the name of his father. He did not
- 48:08even respect the relationships that brought the father that turtles.
- 48:11All that he went for was the money, and the
- 48:14Bible says depletion started immediately. He got to a point
- 48:19where he was now feeding with swine. Question where were
- 48:22all the friends? Where were all the people who celebrated him?
- 48:34And he was with the swine. But I love something,
- 48:36The Bible says, he said he came to himself. He
- 48:40never said the Holy Spirit spoke to him. He never
- 48:43said the devil threatened him. Men can come to themselves,
- 48:48and sometimes sometimes don't be in a hurry to help somebody.
- 48:53God is living, to come to himself. Because there are people.
- 48:57The best gifts you can give them is to leave
- 49:00them for a while until they recognize the value. Now
- 49:06I'm not. I hope you are not. I hope you know.
- 49:07I'm not saying do not help people. But sometimes in
- 49:10the hurry to take people out of certain situations, they
- 49:14continue to recycle an entitlement mentality that will not allow
- 49:18them grow. So the Prodigal Song was there in his
- 49:26spain and in his silence, and he began to calculate
- 49:30a million dollars, five hundred thousand dollars, one hundred thousand dollars.
- 49:36Then a few friends left, ten thousand dollars, then a
- 49:39few more left one dollar. Now I'm in debt and
- 49:45I'm left with pigs. He came to himself. The Bible
- 49:49says in Probabs eighteen and verse one true desire, a
- 49:53man haven't separated himself. The Bible says, he's sickret and
- 49:57interment left with all wisdom. There is something about silence
- 50:02when you, a gentleman, can remain and say, look, being
- 50:05in this dead year after year, I'm tired. There has
- 50:08to be a way out. And I'm telling you you
- 50:10can get up from that place of determination and end
- 50:14certain cycles in your life. That's what happened to the
- 50:17Prodigal Song. He didn't have the power to change himself.
- 50:20But he had the power to decide to change. And
- 50:25yes what he said, how many hired savants as my father,
- 50:30And I am here feeding with the swine, He said,
- 50:32you know what, I've lost everything, but I still know
- 50:35that I have a father. I will arise. Here is
- 50:38a young man speaking to himself, and I will go
- 50:41to my father and I will say, Father, I have
- 50:44seen against you. We call that responsibility. I have seen
- 50:48against you and against heaven. I am not worthy to
- 50:51be called your son, he says, take me as one
- 50:54of your savants. Now, I cherish your convictions, I cherish
- 50:58your name. I know the power of being connected to you.
- 51:01I will not push you away from money again. I seen,
- 51:05I've seen the transcend nature of money without a relationship.
- 51:11I'm willing to be a servant. It's not about the money,
- 51:15it's about you. Notice the moment he took a step,
- 51:19The father too took a step. He never met the
- 51:21father at home. He met him somewhere in the middle
- 51:24of his responsibility steps. The father never met him in
- 51:29the rocks. As soon as he said I will go,
- 51:32the father left home and said, there's something about me.
- 51:35Even though my son is a stubborn son. He's still
- 51:37my son, even though my son is Is that not
- 51:40what happened between us and jesus Us and God? The
- 51:43Bible says, while we were yet seen ers, God was
- 51:45already put in together a plan. However, that life that
- 51:51he brought is not impartedct like the prodigal son. You
- 51:54take that responsibility and take a step forward, gentleman, takes
- 52:00a step and watch this. As soon as he met
- 52:03the father, the father never discussed anything about his destruction.
- 52:09In other words, the responsibility you have gotten is enough.
- 52:12The message I would have told you, you already got
- 52:15it by coming to yourself. The Bible says, he hugged him,
- 52:18kissed him, embraced him, put back the signette ring, and
- 52:22put a robe, and brought him home and said, listen,
- 52:25we have to celebrate. But there was another kind of song.
- 52:29As I wrap up, I hope you know that both
- 52:33of them did the same thing. The first person did
- 52:36it in his heart. The other person executed it. It
- 52:41is not the story of one responsible son versus one
- 52:44lawless one. It is a story of two sons who
- 52:46were on their way to destruction. One only had the
- 52:50courage to take the first step. You will learn at
- 52:52the latter part of the story, because the Bible says
- 52:55when his celebration was going on, the elder brother came
- 52:57and said, what is going on here? And they said,
- 52:59remember that your brother. He's back home, and so we're
- 53:02throwing a celebration. And he was offended. The Bible says,
- 53:06he went out, and he left, and a responsible father
- 53:09followed after him and said, what is wrong? He said,
- 53:11I am here, and I've served you all the days
- 53:14of my life, and you've not even given me. In
- 53:16other words, you've given me convictions, you're giving me relationship.
- 53:20What is money? I'm looking for? About to make the
- 53:24mistake of his younger brother, This said to a man
- 53:27who left you and went to spend his life with
- 53:30harlots and all of that. He returns back and you
- 53:33receive him, and you're celebrating him. And then I've been
- 53:37here and all you give me is an advice every day,
- 53:40be a responsible person. Come let me lay my hands
- 53:43on you. In the name of Jesus, you are great?
- 53:46Is that all you are going to give me? And
- 53:52the father said something verse twenty nine, watch this we're
- 53:58rapping enough is a message for someone next verse, and
- 54:02he answering him, said to his father, law, these many years,
- 54:07do I serve you neither transgress I at any time?
- 54:11Yet you never gave me a kid that I may
- 54:13make merry with my friends. Verse thirty. He says, but
- 54:16as soon as this your son, which had deforet he's
- 54:20living with Harlot's had and you have killed a fatted
- 54:23cow for him. I like the father's reply. Watch this
- 54:27next verse, please, and he said, unto him, son, you
- 54:31are ever with me here. You do not know that
- 54:34our relationship is an inheritance. This gentleman lost something precious.
- 54:39He said, all that I have question, what is the all?
- 54:44That means? The money he gave the son was not
- 54:46all that he had. He gave the son money, and
- 54:50the son believed that he got everything from the father.
- 54:52But he said, there are other things this boy did
- 54:55not carry. But you have to when Abraham, Abraham had
- 55:06a total of about eight children, Ishmael, Isaac, and others
- 55:11that came when it was time to bless his children.
- 55:16Your Bible says that he called the children of all
- 55:20the concubines, and he gave them gifts. But to Isaac
- 55:27he gave everything. He had. There was no mention of
- 55:31any physical thing given to Isaac. After he gave the
- 55:35boys gift, they went away, and he said, Isaac, come
- 55:38kneel down. Let me give you everything I have. There
- 55:41will be nothing in your pocket when I'm done, but
- 55:44you would have gotten everything that blessing that came upon me.
- 55:50That leads me to the fifth inheritance, that every man
- 55:55must give his son. The anointing and the mantle that
- 56:00made you you must be transferred to your children. Behind
- 56:05every great result, there are graces, There are annoying things,
- 56:11there are mantles. Please write it down. You find this
- 56:15story in Genesis twenty five, from verse one to eleven.
- 56:18Were not read it for time. Allelujah. So he gave
- 56:23all the other children things, and they were happy, maybe
- 56:29fighting with one another. Mine and yours, which is bigger.
- 56:32And I can imagine Isaac's standing and says, so where
- 56:35is mine? No car, no house? What are you going
- 56:38to give me? And he says, come, let me play
- 56:41something upon your life, because you see the law is
- 56:44that anointest my head with oil. But he says, my
- 56:49cop run it over. He does not annoint the cop.
- 56:52He annoys your head. That means your cop is a
- 56:56report card. It tells us what is on your head?
- 56:59If your copy empty, don't blame the job. Don't blame
- 57:02the business. The business is only a physical expression. Now,
- 57:07anointest my head with oil. As a result of that anointing.
- 57:11In Genesis twenty six, from verse twelve, the Bible tells
- 57:16us that there was farming in a land. Is that
- 57:19in your Bible where every physical thing they had was
- 57:23going down? Isaac, haven't carried that blessing and that annointing.
- 57:28The Bible says, He's sold in that land and received
- 57:32that same year and one hundred fold, and the Lord
- 57:35blessed him. Thirteen, He says the man Isaac, the man
- 57:39who had received that blessing from his father, he works great.
- 57:44He went forward, and he grew until he became very great. Fourteen,
- 57:53for he had possessions goodness. So what is on your
- 57:57head will eventually bring you the possessions of flocks, herds,
- 58:02a great store of savants. And the Philis Times envied
- 58:06him were reading to sixteen. It says, for all the
- 58:09whales which his father savants had digged in the days
- 58:12of Abraham, his father, the Phyllis Times had stopped them
- 58:16and filled them with earth, and a bimeleg said onto Isaac,
- 58:20go from us, It says, for now a much mightier
- 58:24than we. What are the keys to receiving an inheritance
- 58:33from a father? There are two keys that the Bible gives.
- 58:37Number one is honor. Number two is service. You do
- 58:44not receive from a father just because you are his child.
- 58:47There must be a track record of honor. Honor if
- 58:54I be a father Malachi Chapter one, from verse six
- 58:57to eight, where is my honor? If you claim I
- 59:01am your father, where is my honor? Do you know?
- 59:05Physically you can receive the button, but in the spirit
- 59:09you are not the successor. It is the one who
- 59:11should honor that truly carries the grace. Now, I don't
- 59:15mean to insult your intelligence. What have you seen many
- 59:18families where at the end the person who really carries
- 59:21the man's man to are not the biological children. They
- 59:25can carry physical things, but when you look, you know
- 59:28that this house help who has served for fifteen years.
- 59:32Elisha was never There is no prophecy about Elisha becoming
- 59:36a prophet. Elisha was a farmer. The prophet should come
- 59:40from among the sons of the prophet. But they got
- 59:42so familiar with that prophet. This is a man of God.
- 59:46But Elisha honored him, and Elisha served two things. Let
- 59:52me charge every young man, Yes, I wrap up. Never
- 59:58dishonor your father. Never dishonor your parents. No matter how
- 1:00:03right you are, you will pay for it. There are rules.
- 1:00:07When a father fights his son, he loses his honor.
- 1:00:11When a son fights his father, he loses his life. Allelujah.
- 1:00:18That is the reason why God never fought Setan. You
- 1:00:20will never find God fighting Satan. It was Michael that
- 1:00:24went to fight Satan, because if God fought Satan, even
- 1:00:28if he defeated him, Satan will still go to the
- 1:00:32eath as a victor to have made his father rise
- 1:00:34up to comm and fight him. Fathers don't fight sons. No,
- 1:00:41you delegate sons to deal with the matter. A father's
- 1:00:45honor is preserved when he does not fight his son. Sons,
- 1:00:51when you fight your father, that is what happened. Remember
- 1:00:55what happened between Noah. The Bible says Noah took wine
- 1:00:59and he slept and was naked. One of the sons
- 1:01:01came and saw him. He saw his father's nakedness. He rejoiced,
- 1:01:05called the other brothers and said, can you imagine even
- 1:01:09though the man was drunk, he still knew who looked
- 1:01:11at him. When he got up from that state, he said,
- 1:01:15who did this? He was not told your father may
- 1:01:19have back slidin prayed for his revival and restoration, but
- 1:01:23at no point she knew dishonor him. There are certain
- 1:01:26things only fathers can carry, and there are certain things
- 1:01:30only age can bring in their fallen state. They will
- 1:01:35look at you and bless you. I am a product
- 1:01:38of many, many blessings, many many blessings. You may have
- 1:01:43heard my story. One time I went to buy something
- 1:01:48and I met two women and I decided to honor them.
- 1:01:53Two women, very honest human women, and I decided to
- 1:01:56honor them. I said, please don't pay for it, let
- 1:02:00me pay. It was not anything, not even up to
- 1:02:03I'm not sure. I was off to a dollar and
- 1:02:06the women began to bless me. And one of the
- 1:02:09women looked at me and said, my son forever woke
- 1:02:12upon gold. I'm rapping up now. Years ago I went
- 1:02:19to preach for those of us who are Nigerians in
- 1:02:24a feb Babaylola University. Many years ago, and I went
- 1:02:28to preach there and I stopped and I was I think.
- 1:02:32I flew to one of the states and then to
- 1:02:35go by road getting there, and I passed a very
- 1:02:39small and strange village where people lived mysteriously long. I
- 1:02:46saw obituaries of one hundred and something one hundred and something.
- 1:02:50I said, what in the world is this? What kind
- 1:02:53of grace is this? And when I was done ministring
- 1:02:57on my way back to the airport, I said, stop,
- 1:03:00I saw a notice one thirty six years the man
- 1:03:04just died. I said stop. And I'm not a europa person,
- 1:03:08but I said, look for someone for us. Let me
- 1:03:11find the oldest man in this village. I want to
- 1:03:14sow into his life and have him speak over my
- 1:03:17life because I'm going to be traveling to the nations.
- 1:03:20No plane will kill me, no, no, whatever it is.
- 1:03:22But listen, just shouting a man alone is not the key.
- 1:03:27I understand the blessings that come from fathers. And when
- 1:03:32we got there, we found a man who could speak
- 1:03:34limited English. I'm rapping up now, and then he took
- 1:03:38us to a man. We entered a room and we
- 1:03:43met a man and then they interpreted I would speak
- 1:03:45and the interpret. These are young men who just came
- 1:03:49wanted to receive the blessing. And the man laughed, you see,
- 1:03:52but those who carry this thing, no, they have it.
- 1:03:55Believe me, you provoke it to honor. And the man said, Niel,
- 1:03:59down and you're a man of God, or you down,
- 1:04:01I want to release it upon you. And he began
- 1:04:04to pray and to bless me, to rain those blessings.
- 1:04:08I felt like a crown was being put on my
- 1:04:11head while he was taking Literally, when he was done,
- 1:04:14we sold into his life. We blessed him. And when
- 1:04:17I was about to get into the car, I saw
- 1:04:19some women standing and then they told me that the
- 1:04:22man that died, one thirty six year old man, that
- 1:04:24was his wife's standing. I said, let's go back. I
- 1:04:28went back and I prostrated, I greeted. I said, the
- 1:04:31man may be dead, but you are one, so he's
- 1:04:34still alive. In you can you pray for me? Now
- 1:04:37watch this, I'm rapping up. This woman laughs and says
- 1:04:40follow me. And then I enter a room with her
- 1:04:44and she begins to show me old photos. This was
- 1:04:48the wife of his youth, old and you know those days.
- 1:04:52They married very early the wife of his youth. What
- 1:04:56happened that God preserved? What kind of grace did they carry?
- 1:05:00When they were done? I said, please, for God's sake,
- 1:05:04would you release what was upon you and your husband
- 1:05:07on me? And the woman took off her shoes. She said,
- 1:05:10nail down. She stood on her barefoot and she said
- 1:05:13nail down. For about fifteen minutes, this woman from the
- 1:05:17heart of a mother. I honestly did not care what
- 1:05:20she was saying. All I was concerned about was the
- 1:05:23fact that it was the heart to hurt connection. I'm
- 1:05:28going to make one request as we wrap up. I'm
- 1:05:32going to ask at the end of this respectfully, so
- 1:05:35Pastor Gandhi, representing the father's here to speak over this congregation.
- 1:05:42I know he has been your pastor for many years.
- 1:05:45I'm not asking the pastor to speak. You've heard the
- 1:05:48pastor for many years. I'm asking the Father to speak.
- 1:05:54He that receives a prophet in the name of a profit,
- 1:06:00you can receive a prophet in the name of your brother.
- 1:06:03You will receive discussions and news about the family situation.
- 1:06:08You can receive in the name of whatever it is.
- 1:06:16Have you learned something? I went for a meeting, and
- 1:06:24in that meeting a man gave a story that changed
- 1:06:27my life. Very great man. A church like this, and
- 1:06:33they were telling us the story. Things were going bad
- 1:06:38in his house, yet the church was excelling, the church
- 1:06:43was doing well, whereas his family was not doing well.
- 1:06:47One time, just like our mother, here someone is going on,
- 1:06:51and you can imagine, she just got up and walked
- 1:06:54out of the church. Literally, she walked out of the church.
- 1:06:59And the pastor was touched, confused, what is going on now?
- 1:07:02He was done preaching, finished counseling, and rushed home and
- 1:07:06he said, my wife, what is wrong? Did I offend you?
- 1:07:09Did I say something? Not a word? He sat down
- 1:07:12at the table to eat, and then here's this woman
- 1:07:15serving her husband of many years, and he noticed the
- 1:07:19trade that she brought was different. You know that trade
- 1:07:21that women keep for special occasions. She brought it out
- 1:07:26and he said, please, my food. We'll be married for years.
- 1:07:28Let's leave these children. If you bring I'm hungry. Not
- 1:07:32a word from her. Set the table with honor, with respect,
- 1:07:37with regard, and then she brought the last item on
- 1:07:41the table, and she got down on her knees and
- 1:07:44she said, God servant my family is in trouble. The
- 1:07:48man looked at his wife and said he felt that
- 1:07:52same anointing that he would feel when he was in church.
- 1:07:56Since I've been relating with you just as a wife.
- 1:07:59It is not the word the husband dimension. I'm looking
- 1:08:01for that Father, that grace that produces the testimonies that
- 1:08:05we only hear in church and cannot come to my life.
- 1:08:09Now I'm taking responsibility. This is not your wife. This
- 1:08:13is one who has submitted to your grace. And he said,
- 1:08:15he laid his hands on his wife and began to
- 1:08:18prophesy that everything that has played her home which is
- 1:08:22also his home, and miracles began to happen. I will
- 1:08:31stop here, Abba, Father, Allelujah. Is it all right if
- 1:08:47I make an altar call? Thank you Allelujah. What is
- 1:08:55an author called. It's not a call to come forward. No,
- 1:08:59is not a call to recite a poem that is
- 1:09:03a referenced from scripture. An alther call is a declaration
- 1:09:07of your inability to help yourself. It is proof of humility.
- 1:09:12It's an acknowledgment of the governing authority of Jesus in
- 1:09:16this place right now. I believe there are men and
- 1:09:19women some of you may have come for this conference,
- 1:09:23some of you following by way of television and Internet,
- 1:09:27and the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. The greatest
- 1:09:30of all fathers, is called the Father of spirits, is
- 1:09:35desiring a relationship, and for many you may be like
- 1:09:38the prodigal son. Your sayn Apostles, good listening to you.
- 1:09:42But now whilst hearing you speak, the Holy Ghost began
- 1:09:45to convict me that this faith life is not just
- 1:09:49about burdensome rituals. God desires a functional relationship between a
- 1:09:55father and a son, a father and his child. And
- 1:10:00this may be your moment to truly make it right
- 1:10:03with Jesus. Or perhaps there's someone here. You're like the
- 1:10:07prodigal son. The story started with you in the house,
- 1:10:10but for some reason you've veered off, and now you
- 1:10:13are in a state that does not glorify God, and
- 1:10:17you're saying, Apostle, if you would give me one chance,
- 1:10:20I'd like to make this right with Jesus wherever you are,
- 1:10:23without any sense of shame and fear. May I request,
- 1:10:29with the determination of the prodigal son, please stand upon
- 1:10:32your feet. I want to pray with you. Thank you God,
- 1:10:36bless you stand let's celebrate them as they stand. Stand.
- 1:10:41Don't be ashamed. Stand wherever you are. This is unto Jesus.
- 1:10:46You're making it right with your maker. You're making it
- 1:10:49right with Appah allelujah, my big love.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: It is the most beautiful Montas and Tisands, my big Love,
- 1:11:19it is the most beautiful a Montaius and Tison.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Yes shoes, w uh uh yes shoes. Now, for all
- 1:12:03of you who are standing, I salute your courage, Thank
- 1:12:06you for making this bold decision for Jesus. I'm going
- 1:12:09to lead you to prayer. Prayer, and that includes those
- 1:12:12who are watching by way of television, or perhaps you
- 1:12:14are even watching a rebroadcast of this program. It is
- 1:12:17never too late to make it right with Jesus. For
- 1:12:21all who are standing, please say after me, loud and clear,
- 1:12:24Say Lord Jesus one more time. Say Lord Jesus. I
- 1:12:29love you with all my heart. I believe that you
- 1:12:34are the son of God. I believe that you died
- 1:12:39for my sin. Right now I receive Jesus into my
- 1:12:46heart as my savior, my Lord and my King. I
- 1:12:53declare that the power of sin, saytan hell, and the
- 1:13:02grave is broken over my life. From today I am
- 1:13:07a child of God. Amen, let me pray for your father.
- 1:13:11Thank you for these precious ones. Your word declares that
- 1:13:14as many who will come to you, you will in
- 1:13:16no wise cast away. In the name of Jesus, but
- 1:13:19the authority of Scripture, I declared their sins forgiving, and
- 1:13:23I call them born a find recipients of the life
- 1:13:26of God. In the name of Jesus. We declare that
- 1:13:29you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and
- 1:13:32that from hence you go from glory to glory and
- 1:13:36grace to grace, for in Jesus' much less name we
- 1:13:39have prayed. Okay, So here's what I want you to
- 1:13:43do for me. All of you, please give standing, Please
- 1:13:46give standing just for a moment. All of you who
- 1:13:49made this decision. They are counselors who are handing a card.
- 1:13:52Are they living now? Okay, so let me request for
- 1:13:55one moment. Please pick your bags, your bibles, whatever you
- 1:13:58came to church with. And may I please request that
- 1:14:01you just follow the counselors. They will have a word
- 1:14:04with you. Or perhaps can we allow so that ones
- 1:14:07who are don't speaking they can go? Will that be fine?
- 1:14:10At my request? Okay? So that because I want us
- 1:14:13to pray now for one minute. My apologies if I've
- 1:14:15stretched your time. I just want you to receive something
- 1:14:18that you will return back with a testimony. Allelujah. He said,
- 1:14:22all right, if we rise and pray for one minute,
- 1:14:24please stand upon your feet one prayer point, and will speak,
- 1:14:28and I'll respectfully invite the Man of God to come
- 1:14:31and make declarations from the boels of his spirit to
- 1:14:34rest upon your life and reprogram new possibilities. Let me
- 1:14:38request that you get these teaching parents, give your children,
- 1:14:42young people. Listen to it, and ensure that everyone gets
- 1:14:46a hold of this teaching. It may be deliver runs
- 1:14:49to someone. Allelujah. One prayer point. Father, my heart is
- 1:14:53open to receive of your fatherhood. Go ahead and pray.
- 1:14:57You are the father Ubba. You do not sale. You
- 1:15:00are a giver, You are a protector, You are a defender.

- 1:15:13your fatherhood speak, Let your fatherhood speak. Let your fatherhood
- 1:15:19speak in the name of Jesus. Let your fatherhood speak
- 1:15:24over my finances, over that situation that takes away my
- 1:15:29joy and my peace. Someone call on to Abbah. Jesus said,
- 1:15:33when we pray, you pray thus our father. He has
- 1:15:37given us his spirit. Whereby we cry Abba, Father, Someone
- 1:15:41call his name. Father, Come to my rescue. Father, open
- 1:15:46doors for me in the name of Jesus. Let the
- 1:15:49two lidgates of the United States be open for me. Father,
- 1:15:53come true for me. Concerning this financial situation, concerning this
- 1:15:59marital situation, concerning this situation, as regards my children, my job.
- 1:16:05Go ahead and pray. If you've been evil, know how
- 1:16:09to give good deeds. How much more Allelujah. While you
- 1:16:14are praying, I respectfully invite Paso Gandhi to just come
- 1:16:19and speak the blessing upon your life. Please keep praying, everybody,
- 1:16:23Let this atmosphere be charged. As you pray in the spirit.
