- 2:13He does with Pastor Josh Schwartz.
- 2:15We've had him on before.
- 2:16Ken, brother, so good to see you.
- 2:18Thanks for coming back.
- 2:19David, it's always a pleasure to be with you.
- 2:22Thanks for having me.
- 2:22Thank you, sir.
- 2:24And it's not a fun topic today.
- 2:27But I want to give people some insight that they probably haven't heard elsewhere.
- 2:31Are you being a former SWAT sniper?
- 2:34We're going to talk about lawlessness.
- 2:36I want to get your take on the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.
- 2:43And I really want to hear what you have to say.
- 2:46I haven't caught your programs recently.
- 2:49And I know you have a lot to share.
- 2:51And let's just start right there.
- 2:53We're not surprised that it happened.
- 2:55I mean, the media and Hollywood never
- 2:57else kind of set the stage for this.
- 2:59And the hateful red brick, the attacks on Trump, the law fair,
- 3:03and just the lies that have been spewed.
- 3:05So go ahead and share and start whatever's on your heart, Ken.
- 3:10Well, yeah, I mean, it's interesting to see that they're only blaming one side
- 3:16for the violence and lawlessness that we're seeing.
- 3:18And it's actually the side that's not perpetrating.
- 3:20And of course, you know, that the side that's actually perpetrating the lawlessness,
- 3:26you barely hear a word about it.
- 3:27Yeah, they'll show it on the news.
- 3:28But they really don't call them out.
- 3:31And, you know, yesterday was a perfect example at the federal capital
- 3:37where the Palestinian pro-Palestinians literally not only rioted it,
- 3:42but they defaced statues.
- 3:44They took down the American flag and put the Hamas flag.
- 3:48They rose the Hamas flag up.
- 3:50So I mean, nothing was really done about it.
- 3:52Yeah, there were a few minor clashes.
- 3:55I think out of the probably thousands of people that were there,
- 3:58I saw the pictures.
- 4:00I think six were arrested.
- 4:01I mean, that's unheard of for the amount of violence that occurred yesterday.
- 4:07Yeah, I saw that.
- 4:08I was seeing some video.
- 4:10And I don't know what it is.
- 4:12Can maybe you can, I'm scratching my head here.
- 4:14A lot of Americans are thinking, why are they allowing this?
- 4:18There's graffiti.
- 4:19There was graffiti on the Liberty Bell.
- 4:21And then on other places on monuments.
- 4:23And they took our flag down and they're burning the American flag.
- 4:28And you're thinking, wow, I mean, I mean, they did that during the Black Lives Matter riots.
- 4:33The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation riots.
- 4:36Marxist driven China driven and the left was funding it.
- 4:40It was an organic movement.
- 4:41So they were doing this four years ago.
- 4:43But now to see it come back in a different way, I don't understand.
- 4:48Are do you think the law enforcement or whoever is in charge of security,
- 4:52they're told to stand down, let them protest?
- 4:56What are your thoughts on that?
- 4:58Yeah, I mean, certainly since the George Floyd incident,
- 5:01we've seen a dampering down of use of force, justifiable use of force, I might add,
- 5:07with law enforcement.
- 5:08And they're afraid, David, because everything's being recorded.
- 5:13Even if they're justified, they don't want to be the ones caught on camera
- 5:18and acting and preventing some of this violence and having to actually use force.
- 5:24So this isn't anything new.
- 5:26In 2007, when I was on our SWAT team, we were responsible for some of the security
- 5:32at the Republican Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- 5:35And there was a lot, there's Antifa and all these groups were there.
- 5:39I mean, thousands, literally thousands of people riding and protesting.
- 5:45They tried to breach the Excel Energy Center where they were speaking.
- 5:49And I mean, it was all out.
- 5:51I mean, we had to have a force used to keep people from going into that building.
- 5:56But we actually were encouraged to do that.
- 6:00And we would have been protected by, basically by law, had something happen.
- 6:08But now you're seeing law enforcement backing down almost.
- 6:11And I'm talking to my former colleagues in law enforcement.
- 6:16And they say, you know what?
- 6:17We're so short to begin with because people don't want to get in law enforcement now.
- 6:22And they realize it's a dangerous position to be in.
- 6:26But they're backing down from this because they don't want to get in trouble.
- 6:31And it's unfortunate because they're telling me all they want to do is go out and do their job,
- 6:37do the calls that they're supposed to go on.
- 6:39But there's nothing proactive going on.
- 6:41And if you don't have proactive policing going on in your community,
- 6:45you're going to have a huge increase in crime.
- 6:48And we're seeing the fruits of that.
- 6:52The places that have defunded the police, Seattle, Portland, other places.
- 6:57I don't think that we as a nation have learned our lesson from those case studies,
- 7:02if you want to call it that, because the media doesn't report on it.
- 7:05The skyrocketing crime, Chicago, oh my goodness, off the charts.
- 7:08But the media won't report fairly on that.
- 7:11But yet innocent people are being murdered.
- 7:16Injured, they're just massive issues with drugs and everything else.
- 7:21But yet we don't hear about it.
- 7:24Do you think that's part of the problem for as far as the whole of America not learning a lesson
- 7:28from these places that have been all in on defunding the police?
- 7:34Well, David, I'm in the heart of it.
- 7:35I'm in the belly of the beast.
- 7:36I'm in Minneapolis.
- 7:38And right now, Minneapolis, just the Minneapolis Police Department,
- 7:41not the surrounding suburbs, even though they're included.
- 7:44Minneapolis Police Department is almost at half staff.
- 7:48They can only answer high priority calls.
- 7:50That's where they're at right now.
- 7:52And I've talked, I've got friends in the in the department and they're devastated.
- 7:56So now what they've had to do is try to get people to come back on to the force.
- 8:01So they're offering absorbent amounts of money to do it.
- 8:05But they don't have the manpower to cover just the high priority calls in that city.
- 8:10So that's not just Minneapolis.
- 8:12It's every major city in this country.
- 8:15So we're already seeing the quick effects of defunding the police.
- 8:20And with all of the immigrants.
- 8:24And I'll say terrorists because there are thousands of terrorists we've allowed
- 8:29to come in this country, not just pro-Palestinian.
- 8:33But people that were trained Islamists that are here in this country right now,
- 8:38just yesterday, Senator Amy Klobuchar's office was surrounded and protested.
- 8:45Right here in Minneapolis, you saw what happened at the Capitol.
- 8:48This is happening every single day in major cities across America.
- 8:53And you barely hear a blip from our media, which is completely complicit in all this.
- 9:00Yes, thank you for saying that and using that word complicit.
- 9:03I've been studying the media and writing about that for decades.
- 9:07And it's just sad that they're not serving the people.
- 9:10And I hope more people will catch on.
- 9:12But Ken, I want to get your take.
- 9:13By the way, friends, the second half of the podcast today, we will talk about Ken's perspective
- 9:18as a former SWAT team member and sniper on the assassination attempt on Trump.
- 9:24But I want to go back to, I wrote something in a chapter in my book,
- 9:28canceling Christianity on this lawlessness.
- 9:30Black Lives Matter, I contrasted Christianity with Marxism.
- 9:35And I said reform is good.
- 9:38The heart of man, however, is still wicked.
- 9:40And this is our underlying problem.
- 9:42And then I quote Kyle S. Rees, he was at that time the national spokesman for law enforcement
- 9:48today. And Ken, I'll get your response to this.
- 9:51America's population is approximately 330 million.
- 9:55According to law enforcement today, there are or were four years ago 900,000 sworn law enforcement
- 10:02officers and an average of just under 1000 incidents per year in which police have used deadly force.
- 10:11Of those cases, 95.3% of suspects were armed.
- 10:17According to the FBI's uniform crime report, there were 58,627 assaults against
- 10:24law enforcement in 2016 and most likely that number skyrocketed in 2020.
- 10:31So officers coming to contact with the population, 55.8 million times a year.
- 10:40There are about 26,000 complaints of excessive force, but only 8% of these were sustained,
- 10:49meaning proven or legitimate, equaling 2,080 cases.
- 10:55Friends, if you do the math and I bet out of school for a while,
- 10:58Ken, that's 0.0039% excessive force out of over 55 million interactions with the public by law
- 11:11enforcement. So your thoughts on the stats that that are inconvenient truths, people don't want
- 11:16to acknowledge. Well, exactly. I mean, I mean, those are amazing statistics in favor of law
- 11:23enforcement, but what the media does and what, unfortunately, the top people in our government
- 11:30and most of the left leaning or leftist states, I don't, they're not even left leaning anymore,
- 11:36they're, they're, they're flat out communists, exactly, some flat out in many of these states.
- 11:42And what they do is they cherry pick the one or two incidents that happen every single year,
- 11:47and then they focus on those and they replay them over and over and over, and then they group
- 11:53all of law enforcement into that category. And so they demonize them when we saw it with the
- 11:59Rodney King incident years ago. And after that, it's almost overnight things changed towards law
- 12:05enforcement. I was, I was working then and I saw, you know, what happened. And it literally
- 12:10changed things overnight. And then what really catapulted law enforcement into being demonized
- 12:17was in 2008. And if you recall, I'm trying to think of who the administration was back then.
- 12:25We know it changed overnight. And we saw law enforcement officers being assassinated,
- 12:31right in their patrol cars. And hardly a word was spoken about it. I mean, yeah, they would report
- 12:37it. And ever since that ever since 2008, there's been this continual demonization of law enforcement
- 12:45people in charge. And there's not just law enforcement, parental authority, teacher authority.
- 12:50I talked to teachers all over the country. I worked in the schools for several years. So I saw
- 12:55it firsthand. So anything to do with authority. And that's what Marxism does. It breaks down
- 13:01authority so that the government is in charge. And if you look at what's happened over the past
- 13:06few decades, we've depleted all of our top officials in our government, whether it's in the,
- 13:15we're seeing the attorney generals being being brought in that are leftists that are pure
- 13:20communists. We have one here in Minnesota. So when you deplete all the top authority figures,
- 13:27the mainline people have to go along with it. They have to either follow orders or resign from
- 13:32their position. And that's what we've seen in the military. The attorney general's office,
- 13:36the CIA, the FBI, you go right down the line. All of the top officials have been depleted. And now
- 13:44they'll do exactly what the government tells them to do. And unfortunately, it's the mainline
- 13:49people that are for the most part really good people and want to do their job, want to do a good
- 13:54job. They're the ones that suffer. Yeah. Amen, brother. Worth Ken Michael. And you can watch more of
- 14:01his programs at olive tree views.org and just look under video. It says understanding our times

- 15:22Carl Tricerib. They've had me on who else Billy Crone. And yes, so check that out at harbingersdaily.com.
- 15:33And just thank you Ken for all the work you do. So back to the story we wanted to talk about
- 15:39and get your insights on as a former SWAT sniper. Has a sloped roof ever been an issue for you
- 15:50when you were a SWAT sniper? And then tell us your thoughts on how that all played out.
- 15:58Well, I mean, if you look at it, the slope was almost flat for the suspect. Exactly.
- 16:03If you look at the Connor sniper where he was perched, he was literally almost on a triangle. I
- 16:07think it was 300 and some degree slope, which is really difficult. I mean, kudos go out to that
- 16:15sniper that took him out because it was a difficult shot. I understand he was actually shooting
- 16:21through some brush also. So his vision was, was it depleted a little bit? So yeah, if you look
- 16:28at the slope of the SWAT sniper or for the secret service sniper versus the suspect, he literally
- 16:35gave him the slope was enough just to give him some cover that when he popped up his head, he was
- 16:41able to be taken out. Yeah, amazing, amazing. So let's talk about what some of the rumors
- 16:47in there and we're still finding out more information weeks later. I heard that the local police,
- 16:53one representative said that they were in charge of traffic. Did I hear that right? So they weren't
- 17:02actually assigned to that roof. I've heard conflicting reports. What do you know about that, Ken?
- 17:08Well, so the city I worked for was right next to the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.
- 17:14So our SWAT team was assigned. Every time the president came in, we would be assigned an area
- 17:20and it was usually a building where the president would drive out of and myself and my sniper
- 17:26partner would be up there. But the secret service always does a recon of the area that the
- 17:32president is going to be traveling. So when it's wheels down at the air from the time it's wheels
- 17:37down to the time it's wheels up, they have that whole route where the president's going to be
- 17:42mapped out. And back then they would fly a helicopter over and they would find the choke points
- 17:48where the local police needed to be. And the secret service always dedicates where the local police
- 17:56go. They're responsible for the protection of the president or whoever the VIP is. So I had a
- 18:03little bit of experience with that. I went through the secret service training. This incident, however,
- 18:09because when I dealt with the president, he was in what they called the beast, this armored car,
- 18:16and he was protected for the most part from the time he left the airport to the time he went and
- 18:22spoke. And he really wasn't out in the open too much. And what they wanted to do, the biggest
- 18:28problem they had there was communications. So every state has a statewide channel that every police
- 18:35department can speak on. And that's what we had. And we had a state patrol supervisor with a secret
- 18:41service agent so that if there is any problem along the route with radio in and that secret service
- 18:48agent immediately knows there's an issue. They either have to divert the motorcade or take a
- 18:53invasive action, whatever they had to do. They didn't do that in this situation. You have an open
- 18:58air situation, David, where I think if I set a class, sent a class of cadets out there,
- 19:05they could have done a better job securing that area because you do a site survey. You do an overhead
- 19:11survey with a drone. You put somebody on the stage. And if you looked out and I've seen the
- 19:16schematics of it, there's four steel buildings lined up 130 to 150 yards out. Well, bingo,
- 19:24those are the first spots that I'm going to put people. And then I'm going to build my perimeter
- 19:28out from that. Another few hundred to me. Who knows, however that field is, but nobody should be
- 19:36coming in that perimeter, let alone a suspect. So when you look at what happened, not only was the
- 19:42suspect able to enter that area, so were hundreds of other people that were walking around if you
- 19:49saw the videos. Now, they stationed local police inside the building, which completely blows my
- 19:56mind. I don't know why you'd put people inside the building where your vision, most of your vision
- 20:02is obscured. You can't see next to you behind you had people had these officers just been standing
- 20:09outside. They would have seen the suspect walking up and climbing under the building. So it just,
- 20:15this real quick, these weren't mistakes that were made. This was dereliction of duty. This is
- 20:23basic containment. And it should have been a fundamental process that the Secret Service would have
- 20:30went through to make that area secure so that no one could have climbed up on a building with a
- 20:36rifle and taken a shot at the president. That's just the beginning.
- 20:41So Ken Michael, I see a couple options. One being what you said, a dereliction of duty,
- 20:48just horrific failures, possibly due to DEI and diversity equity inclusion. And the woman that
- 20:56didn't have any, I don't know, she shouldn't have been in that position. But the other possibility is
- 21:03an inside job. This is where the conspiracy theory gets going. And there could have been more behind
- 21:08it was at the deep state was it others did was this purposeful. They let their guard down. We're
- 21:15someone given the orders to stand down or not being in the right place. We can only speculate now,
- 21:21but what can you tell us or what what is your gut say about those possibilities?
- 21:26Well, I just interviewed Alex Newman two days ago. And he spoke, he unedited interview. He said
- 21:34that Roger Stone, he spoke to him directly. And the Trump campaign knows that something
- 21:41critical happened that shouldn't have happened. And he believes it's the deep state. And
- 21:47I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but how in the world can a 20-year-old walk into that area
- 21:55bring a rifle fly a drone around beforehand and then get eight shots off without the secret service
- 22:04confronting him. Now, they did see him before that, which was good, but they didn't, no one could
- 22:10find him. So I believe it was just a few minutes before it was 18 minutes before he was seen
- 22:19again. And they still allowed the president to go up on stage. That's another problem. Exactly.
- 22:25And then law enforcement actually confronted him a few minutes beforehand, but he was upon that
- 22:32rough two minutes, over two minutes, while the crowd was yelling, hey, there's a guy in the
- 22:37roof with a rifle. There's a guy in the roof with a rifle. Now, if you had the proper communications
- 22:42that they should have had where local police can get to a supervisor on the scene that can
- 22:50directly talk to the secret service supervisor, you should have been whisked off that stage immediately.
- 22:56That's the second issue. And I'll get into this because when I witnessed this, I was in shock.
- 23:03After I heard the recording, the shots were fired. President went down, secret service got
- 23:09on top of them and they're applauding the secret service agents for doing that.
- 23:14But after that, if you listen to the tape and it's very clear, whoever the lead agent was said,
- 23:19we're going to stand up and move. So they stood up. He said move and nobody moved.
- 23:26And for a full, I think it was over 10 seconds. The president was saying, wait, wait, wait,
- 23:31where are my shoes? I think I saw a video where the secret service agent kicked his shoes off the
- 23:36stage and then he wanted to stand and raise his fist. And that's, you know, it looks good in
- 23:40photos. But when you're talking about the security of the president of the United States, a full 10
- 23:46seconds, it took to get him off that stage. When that lead agent said we're up and he said move,
- 23:53you're moving and you don't stop. And if that means picking him up and carrying him off that
- 23:58stage, that's exactly what you do. We used to practice officer rescue stuff all the time.
- 24:04The lead agent was in charge. The president Trump isn't in charge at that point. Once
- 24:08there's shots fired, that's it. That lead agent needs to take charge. You have to have agents
- 24:13that can physically pick up the person and carry off that stage and that did not happen.
- 24:20You know what could have happened in 10 seconds? Had there been another sniper there?
- 24:24Or if that sniper hadn't been hit, Lord only knows not only Trump, but other agents and other
- 24:30spectators could have easily been shot and killed. I thought about that when he popped up and he
- 24:35was kind of exposed from the chest up. I thought, what if there's another shooter? Get him out of
- 24:40there. Can't real quick. We just got three minutes left. The drone. This is a recent report that
- 24:47came out that he the shooter flew a drone over the area before the event took place. And no red flags
- 24:57there. Go ahead. Your thoughts? Yeah. I mean, it's unheard of that to this happened two
- 25:03hours before. I guess he was there. He flew a drone in the area of the place. The FBI director
- 25:10said it was 200 yards from where the president was speaking. It doesn't matter. When the president
- 25:15or a VIP is like that is going to a presidential candidate is going to speak. That area is secured
- 25:20from son up to or even the night before. I know the advanced team usually goes on. They have
- 25:26areas secured. They have people there guarding it all night. No one gets into that area. That was
- 25:32read. Like I said, that was dereliction of duty. Not to in the secret service director said,
- 25:38well, that 130 yards wasn't within our perimeter. And I'm thinking, how on earth can that not
- 25:45you're in an open field? And that's not in your perimeter. I mean, like I said, it's inexcusable
- 25:50what happened that day. And I would call it dereliction of duty. And by the way, we know now they
- 25:57also gave extra extra security to Kamala Harris that day. And I believe Jill Biden,
- 26:04that I think they may have been in the in Pennsylvania. But anyway, so Trump didn't get what he
- 26:09requested. Apparently just there's so much wrong with this that I think people are just saying,
- 26:15come on, how can there be so many of these glaring red flags? Go ahead.
- 26:18I'll add this. I believe I heard they were somewhere about 50 secret service agents short that day
- 26:26that should have been on Trump's detail. And now you add in the fact that he had a credible terrorist
- 26:32threat from the government of Iran to kill him for what when he took out Salamani. So how they
- 26:39allowed that to happen. Like I said, if we find out later that there's more involved in this,
- 26:44it wouldn't surprise me one bit because the deep state, and there is a deep state folks,
- 26:50they'll do anything. And when I say anything, though, there's nothing they won't do to stop Trump
- 26:56or anyone else that gets in their way. The ends justify the means. And these are demonically driven
- 27:03people. These are globalists. These are people that hate America and Judeo-Christian values are
- 27:09in their way. So is those patriotic people and whoever is a conservative and someone like Trump
- 27:15who's against globalism. No surprise that it happened, but just the way it did. So many glaring
- 27:21issues. Ken Michael, thanks for your time today and your insights. I really appreciate it. I think
- 27:26it's very helpful to see it from your point of view and what your background was. So thanks for
- 27:31your time, sir. God bless you. Thanks for having me, David. And God bless you. All right, thank you.
