- 0:13Speaker 1: kings the crown is yours i'm your host brandon kravitz
- 0:17Speaker 1: joined by the first lady kendra middleton live from jacksonville
- 0:21Speaker 1: florida a turbulent week three for us in the contest
- 0:25Speaker 1: we will get to that receipts cash crash clutch a
- 0:30Speaker 1: word from the oracle evan abrams and a monday night
- 0:33Speaker 1: football same game parlay to wrap up week three in
- 0:38Speaker 1: a wild and wacky nfl it was like everything that
- 0:43Speaker 1: could go wrong for us did again i will cry
- 0:48Speaker 1: about that momentarily like drake may but how was jacksonville I.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Think it was the best time ever, personally. I don't
- 0:56Speaker 2: think it's really hit me yet that they didn't just
- 0:59Speaker 2: win yesterday, but they won the way that they did. Yeah,
- 1:04Speaker 2: it hasn't hit me yet. I've had such a good
- 1:06Speaker 2: time this weekend.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I mean, the weather was perfect yesterday in Florida. It
- 1:11Speaker 1: was tough staying inside and watching Red Zone Channel all day.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And I was thinking about you guys, you and Emerson,
- 1:18Speaker 1: both at that Jags game. The vibes were sky high.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It's the last home game for the Jags until November 1st.
- 1:26Speaker 1: taking the AFC champs to task. I mean, that was,
- 1:29Speaker 1: that was peak living. And you've had a Jacobi Myers
- 1:33Speaker 1: anytime touchdown too, on top of it to experience that live. Unreal.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Thank God.
- 1:38Speaker 2: The under hit Jacobi. Um, I just, all of it.
- 1:43Speaker 2: It was crazy. I, I don't even have words. Cam
- 1:46Speaker 2: little almost making that 70 yarder. That would have really
- 1:48Speaker 2: been the icing on the cake for me, but wow.
- 1:51Speaker 2: What a game.
- 1:52Speaker 1: What a game.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I'm sure that everyone's going to be totally normal in
- 1:55Speaker 2: Boston today about everything. And we got to see Tommy DeVito.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Well, I mean, that's the dream. You really got to
- 2:01Speaker 1: live it all in Jacksonville. Did you get to run
- 2:04Speaker 1: into Emerson? Did you guys see each other?
- 2:06Speaker 2: He knew where I was going to be, and he
- 2:08Speaker 2: texted me. And he was like, hey, are you here?
- 2:11Speaker 2: And I said, yeah. And I sent him my location
- 2:14Speaker 2: to come find me. And he was like, you're not here.
- 2:18Speaker 2: And I was like, and then he just goes strike two.
- 2:20Speaker 2: And I go, I am. I'm at this lab. And
- 2:21Speaker 2: he just didn't respond.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He was too busy guzzling hot dogs. Yeah.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So we got to talk about this contest. This DraftKings
- 2:31Speaker 1: contest that is going to be the death of us.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Just pure pain. So we have five picks.
- 2:38Speaker 2: We need to talk about Gifford off the top here.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Did you want to start with that? I was going
- 2:43Speaker 1: to get to it, but that's fine. So we have
- 2:45Speaker 1: five picks.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Chronological order.
- 2:47Speaker 1: The first pick that we had in the contest, I've
- 2:50Speaker 1: got it on my trusty notepad right here. Falcons, which
- 2:54Speaker 1: was six and a half in the contest, didn't matter.
- 2:56Speaker 1: They won the game outright and dominated the Green Bay Packers.
- 3:00Speaker 1: The text read, guys, I fucked up. And it was
- 3:04Speaker 1: Gifford admitting that he had procrastinated and didn't put the
- 3:09Speaker 1: Falcons into the contest. So we had to then replace
- 3:13Speaker 1: the Falcons with our alternate best bet, which was you
- 3:18Speaker 1: allowed me to run the card this week. Thank you, Kendra.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It was the Chargers plus seven and a half, which
- 3:25Speaker 1: we'll get to was just torturous. But we would have
- 3:30Speaker 1: gone three and two this week had it not been
- 3:32Speaker 1: for our producer. So I'm quite disappointed.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So it didn't even matter what I wanted anyway. know
- 3:40Speaker 2: so that jacoby anytime saved my ass yesterday i saw i.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Went to your account this morning just to see how
- 3:47Speaker 1: was kendra's sunday and uh just barely came out ahead
- 3:51Speaker 1: when you like you had just enough to like buy
- 3:53Speaker 1: a a stadium soda i.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Think i bought a diet coke at the titty bar.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Last night there you go with your winnings with jacoby.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Winnings yeah with my you know probably like two dollars.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So we went two and three in the contest. We're
- 4:08Speaker 1: now putrid five and ten overall at some point.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I have some good news for you. This is going
- 4:16Speaker 3: to be like the Raiders moment from last year. So
- 4:20Speaker 3: if you remember that these lines are opening lines from
- 4:24Speaker 3: the week. So while you put in the Titans and
- 4:28Speaker 3: you think you got Titans at plus two and a half,
- 4:30Speaker 3: we actually got them at plus six.
- 4:32Speaker 4: And a half. So we went third.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Great news.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yes.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 4:38Speaker 2: We would imagine if Gifford didn't fuck us.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Obviously, we should have been 4-1. But I think with
- 4:45Speaker 3: this breaking news telling you, we can forget about any
- 4:50Speaker 3: sort of other issues we had placing contests.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I don't think we can. We definitely could have used
- 4:58Speaker 1: the 4-1, but it is good that we were above
- 5:01Speaker 1: 500 points. This week, I feel the pain of the
- 5:05Speaker 1: Titans loss because I personally bet them at plus three
- 5:08Speaker 1: and that did not hit. But yeah, if you had
- 5:11Speaker 1: gotten this early, it was five and a half right
- 5:14Speaker 1: when the Jackson Dart news started to break. And so
- 5:18Speaker 1: if you were quick on the trigger with your betting,
- 5:22Speaker 1: you were able to cash because the Titans lost by five.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So let's go over this piece by piece here, Kendra.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm going to go through the The good news first,
- 5:32Speaker 1: because I think people like hearing us suffer at this point.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I think so, too. I think it's what makes us special.
- 5:39Speaker 2: We are both willing to suffer.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Definitely. We're going to wear this. We are honest, authentic people.
- 5:45Speaker 1: And sometimes we suck at this. I mean, it's just.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And honestly, sometimes.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You know what, Kendra? The frustrating part is, I don't
- 5:53Speaker 1: know if this is my ego talking. So you can
- 5:56Speaker 1: feel free to take your shots, but. I feel like
- 5:59Speaker 1: the process was spot on this week. This is none
- 6:03Speaker 1: of these that I go over are going to be like, wow,
- 6:05Speaker 1: we totally misread that bullshit. The Jags cover with ease.
- 6:09Speaker 1: We had minus three. Great. The Lions cover, but barely.
- 6:13Speaker 1: But we're 2-0 on the Kittens this weekend. Listen to
- 6:18Speaker 1: how obnoxiously improbable these L's are. Okay, just take a seat,
- 6:23Speaker 1: grab some tea, because I'm about to go wild on this.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The Titans. Now, we did end up covering the Titans
- 6:30Speaker 1: in the contest miraculously. Thank you, Gifford, for reminding me
- 6:33Speaker 1: of that. But I did lose money on them. First
- 6:36Speaker 1: and goal from the eight. Two timeouts in their back pocket.
- 6:40Speaker 1: 24 seconds on the clock. Score, and the game is over.
- 6:45Speaker 1: They're down 12-7. The second play into this potential sequence
- 6:51Speaker 1: with all of this time. I mean, 20 seconds when
- 6:53Speaker 1: you're down by the goal line is a lifetime. Cam
- 6:55Speaker 1: Ward forces a pass to Io Manor. I think is
- 6:59Speaker 1: how you pronounce his name. In the back of the
- 7:01Speaker 1: end zone. Picked off. We lose. So that should have
- 7:04Speaker 1: been an outright win. And instead... Well, we did end
- 7:07Speaker 1: up getting the cover thanks to that juicy number. On
- 7:10Speaker 1: to the Bucs. The Bucs, we had plus two and
- 7:14Speaker 1: a half. The defense holds Minnesota to six second half points.
- 7:20Speaker 1: They were two of 15 on third down. The Vikings
- 7:24Speaker 1: had 95 penalty yards in this game. Zero trips inside
- 7:29Speaker 1: of the red zone. Zero. The whole game. And the
- 7:33Speaker 1: Bucs still had two separate chances to win with under
- 7:37Speaker 1: 90 seconds left. And what did Baker Mayfield do, Kendra?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Not one, but two interceptions. And he broke his thumb.
- 7:46Speaker 1: That's how he lose the box.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Did you see?
- 7:47Speaker 2: I don't know if this is like very seriously what
- 7:52Speaker 2: happened because I wasn't watching the games in real time.
- 7:55Speaker 2: But when Baker goes down and is like screaming, the
- 7:57Speaker 2: camera like pans to Todd Bowles and he's just like smiling.
- 8:01Speaker 1: The pot bowls is just cooked. I mean, the guy
- 8:04Speaker 1: is just, he's like a dead fish. There's just nothing there.
- 8:08Speaker 2: No, I have. Baker, I think it's time to say
- 8:13Speaker 2: what I've been saying all along. Baker's bad.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You know what's crazy, too, is that Jalen Daniels comes in,
- 8:19Speaker 1: who was a boss in the preseason, and he threw
- 8:24Speaker 1: some tomatoes down the field. I mean, I honestly thought
- 8:29Speaker 1: that we had a chance with his deep ball. And
- 8:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't be shocked if I somehow talked myself into
- 8:36Speaker 1: betting on the Bucs with Jalen Daniels as the quarterback.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I'm not there yet.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I still need to digest this, but don't make me
- 8:43Speaker 2: veto that, please.
- 8:45Speaker 1: We'll get to that. They're three and a half point dogs.
- 8:47Speaker 1: The last time I checked against Green Bay, the most
- 8:49Speaker 1: disgusting game on the on the week for God. OK,
- 8:54Speaker 1: so that's all bad. Titans bad chance to win. Cam Ward.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Way too nonchalant with the football. Baker Mayfield thinks he's
- 9:06Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson. And if I can quote our producer in
- 9:11Speaker 1: the group chat yesterday, he's more like Nathan Peterman. The Chargers,
- 9:16Speaker 1: not to be outdone by the LA Chargers, a 10
- 9:21Speaker 1: to zero lead to start the game. Plus four in
- 9:25Speaker 1: the turnover margin. Teams that are plus four in the
- 9:30Speaker 1: turnover margin. Win at a 97% rate. Not cover, Kendra.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Win 97% of the time. And it gets better. Even
- 9:40Speaker 1: though the Chargers obviously didn't want to win this game,
- 9:43Speaker 1: they still had a chance to. They're down by four.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Seven minutes to go. This is what happens. Penalty. They
- 9:49Speaker 1: pick up 10 yards on the ground to make up
- 9:51Speaker 1: for some of the lost yardage. Justin Herbert takes a sack. Incompletion. Incompletion.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Ball goes to Josh Allen. And what does he do?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Goes right down the field, scores a touchdown, and now
- 10:03Speaker 1: the Bills are up by 11. Spread toast. I mean,
- 10:07Speaker 1: we just lost in the most miraculous ways across the board.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm at a loss.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I was on one of my friends shows previewing the
- 10:20Speaker 2: Patriots Jags game this week and he told me that
- 10:23Speaker 2: week three of the NFL is equivalent to like 9
- 10:26Speaker 2: 56 a.m in your work day where seriously like mathematically
- 10:31Speaker 2: that's what it is so where do we get to
- 10:34Speaker 2: a point where we can realistic realistically really panic not
- 10:38Speaker 2: just about the Chargers as a whole but Justin Herbert
- 10:41Speaker 2: and and Harbaugh, and McDaniels. Where do we really start
- 10:45Speaker 2: having these tough conversations? Because you have such a loaded roster.
- 10:49Speaker 2: You're spending so much money on Justin Herbert. And He
- 10:53Speaker 2: just looks like I'm one of these people who thinks
- 10:56Speaker 2: that he obviously, because I left him outside of my
- 10:58Speaker 2: top 10, which was right to do, by the way,
- 11:02Speaker 2: turns out it was, yes, but not on purpose. But like,
- 11:06Speaker 2: when do we start having these conversations about like, what
- 11:10Speaker 2: is going on? How do they fix this? Who's getting fired?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Who do you fire? How, like, what do you do?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Like what?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Well, I think it's, it's such a tangled web right
- 11:18Speaker 1: now that you have to just play out the season and,
- 11:21Speaker 1: And then take care of it from there. But the
- 11:24Speaker 1: result will speak for itself. And the schedule, we know,
- 11:27Speaker 1: does not get any easier for the Chargers. They've got
- 11:30Speaker 1: nothing but playoff teams standing in front of them as
- 11:33Speaker 1: they move forward. But what do you do? What are
- 11:36Speaker 1: you going to bench Justin Herbert for Trey Lance? Are
- 11:38Speaker 1: you going to fire Mike McDaniel, who you just hired
- 11:41Speaker 1: as the offensive coordinator? And Jim Harbaugh has had success.
- 11:46Speaker 1: He's had double-digit winning seasons.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I was going to say, I think that that's the
- 11:49Speaker 2: most complicated piece about it. You almost... would have to
- 11:54Speaker 2: me personally. I know that finding a quarterback in this
- 11:57Speaker 2: league is damn near impossible. And I would, you know,
- 12:00Speaker 2: keep the charger situation over half of the teams in
- 12:03Speaker 2: the league, probably, but I might consider trading him before
- 12:07Speaker 2: I get rid of Harbaugh, you know, like he's been
- 12:09Speaker 2: successful other places. Where's Justin Herbert been successful other than,
- 12:13Speaker 2: you know, choking in the first round of the playoffs.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I don't, I don't, I don't know. What do you do?
- 12:17Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Which is what's crazy about it is that, I don't
- 12:21Speaker 1: know that I've ever seen a quarterback with this much
- 12:24Speaker 1: natural talent that has struggled this much in improving when
- 12:29Speaker 1: he's already shown signs of improvement. It's not like he
- 12:33Speaker 1: came into the league with a barrel full of talent
- 12:35Speaker 1: and has never been able to put it together. The
- 12:38Speaker 1: question for Justin Herbert wasn't, is he good? It's, is
- 12:41Speaker 1: he good in the playoffs? Now the question is, is
- 12:44Speaker 1: he good? And you watch a guy that has the
- 12:48Speaker 1: opportunity that he had 10 point lead plus four in
- 12:52Speaker 1: the turnover margin, a chance to win the game in
- 12:55Speaker 1: the fourth quarter, seven minutes left, you're driving and he
- 12:59Speaker 1: can't complete simple passes. I'm running out of excuses for
- 13:03Speaker 1: Justin Herbert, but, but you can't bench the guy yet.
- 13:06Speaker 1: So it's kind of just, we just have to figure
- 13:09Speaker 1: out how to either make money off of everybody being
- 13:12Speaker 1: off of him or just fading him to oblivion. One
- 13:15Speaker 1: of those things has to happen.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I want to piggyback off of this and talk about
- 13:19Speaker 2: Drake May. I know we kind of talked about my
- 13:21Speaker 2: time at the game, but it's kind of a similar
- 13:23Speaker 2: situation with him. Like how short is his leash throughout
- 13:28Speaker 2: the rest of the season? How short is Mike Vrabel's leash?
- 13:31Speaker 2: I'm almost wondering at this point, do I think that
- 13:34Speaker 2: Vrabel is an awesome head coach? Yes, but I think
- 13:37Speaker 2: that they did him a disservice, not on purpose because
- 13:41Speaker 2: they didn't really, you know, know at the time what
- 13:43Speaker 2: the ceiling was for him, but they should have gotten
- 13:46Speaker 2: an offensive head coach. I think that when you have
- 13:48Speaker 2: a young quarterback with the upside of Drake May, that's
- 13:52Speaker 2: what you have to do to unlock them. I mean,
- 13:55Speaker 2: I all week last week was saying that, you know,
- 13:57Speaker 2: the Patriots and the Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence and Drake
- 14:00Speaker 2: May have the same issues that Trevor Lawrence had in
- 14:03Speaker 2: year three around him right now. And what unlocked Trevor
- 14:07Speaker 2: Lawrence was getting Liam Cohen and having consistency. And so
- 14:10Speaker 2: I almost wonder if that's hindering Drake.
- 14:15Speaker 1: In and look i don't think you can overlook the
- 14:17Speaker 1: offseason distraction which is clearly that plus the super bowl
- 14:21Speaker 1: loss hangover which is a very real thing is taking
- 14:24Speaker 1: its toll on this team and they went out with
- 14:28Speaker 1: the express purpose of getting better offensively by adding an
- 14:32Speaker 1: elite weapon that's not on the field right now and
- 14:35Speaker 1: they're really suffering for it they knew they i mean
- 14:37Speaker 1: they they You don't go get a guy and spend
- 14:39Speaker 1: what you did to get A.J. Brown if you're not
- 14:41Speaker 1: fully aware of your offensive ceiling. And right now, they're
- 14:45Speaker 1: not able to pay that off.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Whose wife did Travion Henderson kiss? I'm so serious. I'm
- 14:52Speaker 2: so glad that they mismanaged him after yesterday. But if
- 14:56Speaker 2: they are going to improve any of their issues, he's
- 15:00Speaker 2: got to be on the field more. I do not
- 15:03Speaker 2: understand what they are doing managing him at all.
- 15:06Speaker 1: At all. I just think that he's just a home
- 15:10Speaker 1: run hitter. That's got to be it. They don't like
- 15:12Speaker 1: anything else about his game. He was eight for 23 yesterday,
- 15:16Speaker 1: 2.9 yards per carry. Didn't end up hitting that home
- 15:19Speaker 1: run shot. And when he's not giving you that, he's
- 15:21Speaker 1: just not giving you enough consistency between the tackles. Not
- 15:24Speaker 1: a lot to like about the Patriots, but... this is
- 15:27Speaker 1: what Jacksonville is doing to people in Jacksonville. And we've
- 15:31Speaker 1: got to start paying attention to that even more than
- 15:33Speaker 1: we already are, which is not an issue on this show,
- 15:36Speaker 1: but the Browns who they demolished in week one, all
- 15:39Speaker 1: of a sudden the Browns look okay. Shout out to you,
- 15:41Speaker 1: by the way, shout out to you.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Nice on that.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Um, but the Browns look all right. And the Jags
- 15:47Speaker 1: embarrassed them. They had us questioning everything about Cleveland, which
- 15:50Speaker 1: is not hard to do. And now the same thing
- 15:52Speaker 1: with new England. So it might be, it could be
- 15:55Speaker 1: as much a compliment to the Jags, as it is
- 15:57Speaker 1: a slight to the New England Patriots.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I also feel better about the Denver game now than
- 16:03Speaker 2: I did last week. Do I think they should have
- 16:05Speaker 2: given up 17 unanswered? And do I think they collapsed?
- 16:09Speaker 2: No and yes. And they have their problems. But after yesterday,
- 16:13Speaker 2: I do feel better about that. And I saw your
- 16:15Speaker 2: Bo Nix note in our doc. And I am not
- 16:20Speaker 2: going to admit that Bo Nix is good because there
- 16:22Speaker 2: are times where he looks so beyond incredible. And then
- 16:25Speaker 2: there are times where I'm like, oh my god what
- 16:29Speaker 2: what did this kid just do there was like the
- 16:32Speaker 2: first half last night i was sitting there watching him
- 16:34Speaker 2: like just so polarized all.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Right well i'm glad you brought that up because i've
- 16:38Speaker 1: got receipts you gotta prove it to me i gotta
- 16:43Speaker 1: see evidence i'll show you the receipts you don't believe
- 16:46Speaker 1: me I have the receipt for it right here. I
- 16:50Speaker 1: believe you owe Bo Nix an apology. It's enough already. No,
- 16:55Speaker 1: this guy has never met a double digit deficit that
- 16:58Speaker 1: he could not overcome. This is why I'm not just
- 17:02Speaker 1: live betting the money line at the moment. They go
- 17:04Speaker 1: down by 10.
- 17:05Speaker 2: He's in that position because he probably threw the ugliest
- 17:08Speaker 2: interception you've ever freaking seen Kravitz. That's why he's in
- 17:11Speaker 2: that position to have double digit comebacks.
- 17:14Speaker 1: He's like the guy in a relationship that constantly fucks up,
- 17:20Speaker 1: but then is also really good at the bounce back.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Always buys the right flowers or sends the right note.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It is sort of a toxic relationship if you're a
- 17:31Speaker 1: Bo Nix guy.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I hate a bitch like that. I hate a bitch
- 17:34Speaker 2: like that.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Rope you back in. You wanted to fit this week
- 17:41Speaker 1: could have been uglier for us because you wanted to
- 17:43Speaker 1: fit the Texans into the contest. They do not look
- 17:46Speaker 1: bettable at the moment. Talk about a quarterback that looks broken.
- 17:50Speaker 1: If CJ Stroud doesn't have Nico Collins out there, the
- 17:52Speaker 1: guy is absolutely lost. I'm really glad that I vetoed that.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Um, did he throw?
- 17:57Speaker 1: No.
- 17:57Speaker 2: See, here's the thing. CJ Stroud, if I'm not mistaken,
- 18:01Speaker 2: has not looked good at all through the first three
- 18:04Speaker 2: weeks of the season, but.
- 18:05Speaker 1: He looks good against Buffalo. He looks good against Buffalo.
- 18:08Speaker 2: He hasn't thrown an interception, correct?
- 18:10Speaker 1: So let's see. He has not. He has three touchdowns,
- 18:15Speaker 1: zero picks, but he has fumbled.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I was going to say, I think that maybe we
- 18:19Speaker 2: hop on him to throw an interception next week because
- 18:21Speaker 2: you can't tell me that CJ Stroud is going to
- 18:25Speaker 2: be good enough to go through four weeks of the NFL. Oh,
- 18:28Speaker 2: and three without throwing a pick.
- 18:30Speaker 1: So I like that idea. And they're playing the Cowboys
- 18:33Speaker 1: next week. We know the Cowboys are going to be
- 18:34Speaker 1: able to put up points, which means Stroud's probably going
- 18:38Speaker 1: to end up dropping back to pass 45 times when
- 18:41Speaker 1: he should never do that. And that that's an interesting game.
- 18:45Speaker 1: That's one to definitely keep in the back pocket. The
- 18:48Speaker 1: only other receipt I had was for our producer, but
- 18:50Speaker 1: you already brought that up. Not getting the Falcons in
- 18:52Speaker 1: the contest, especially when we had that great number with
- 18:55Speaker 1: the Titans. Didn't even realize that. I totally forgot that
- 18:57Speaker 1: that was a conversation piece that we had with these
- 19:01Speaker 1: contest lines, but a chance to go four and one.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I should not be feeling this much pain, but I
- 19:05Speaker 1: guess I'll accept three and two Kendra and we'll just
- 19:08Speaker 1: move on and hope. I feel a five and a
- 19:11Speaker 1: week coming for us. Maybe week four will be our week.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 1: What is your one big shiny takeaway from week three
- 19:20Speaker 1: with one game left?
- 19:22Speaker 2: I really just don't think that anybody is great. I
- 19:25Speaker 2: think that there are good teams, but I don't think
- 19:27Speaker 2: that right now that anybody is great. I really don't like,
- 19:31Speaker 2: I get Buffalo's looks good, but there were moments yesterday
- 19:33Speaker 2: where I was watching that game in the beginning and
- 19:35Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know, Josh Allen, you're a little,
- 19:39Speaker 2: you're scaring me a little bit. The Rams obviously are beatable.
- 19:42Speaker 2: They were supposed to be this juggernaut. The 49ers are
- 19:46Speaker 2: just so beyond banged up as good as they have
- 19:48Speaker 2: looked at times.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Mike Evans, now too had to get carded off i
- 19:52Speaker 1: mean then nick bosa is going to be out several
- 19:54Speaker 1: weeks this team cannot get out of it his season's
- 19:57Speaker 1: over wow wow uh brian burns by the way his
- 20:00Speaker 1: season is over he has an acl tear with the
- 20:04Speaker 1: giants so they have lost one of their best edge
- 20:06Speaker 1: rushers big news there The Dolphins also are not optimistic
- 20:12Speaker 1: about the knee injury to Devon Achan. Not that that's
- 20:14Speaker 1: going to tank their season. They were doing just fine
- 20:17Speaker 1: in tanking with him. But a couple of injury notes there.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Who do you think the best team in the NFL is?
- 20:24Speaker 1: You say everybody's just kind of good to okay. Like
- 20:27Speaker 1: the Ravens looked very beatable, and then they were able
- 20:31Speaker 1: to come back and win at the end. But that
- 20:33Speaker 1: game was a coin flip at the end. The 49ers
- 20:36Speaker 1: looked great, but the injuries... The Chiefs. I think if
- 20:40Speaker 1: I had to nominate one team, if I said who's
- 20:42Speaker 1: the best right now, it's probably Kansas City. They look
- 20:45Speaker 1: like the most complete team in the league.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So I think for me, I would say the team
- 20:51Speaker 2: I would not want to play the most right now
- 20:55Speaker 2: would be the Bills. But the team that I don't
- 20:58Speaker 2: have any confidence in them in the postseason, just because
- 21:01Speaker 2: I'm one of these people who show it to me.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Once you get to a Super Bowl, I'll believe you.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And Mahomes has done it time and time again. So
- 21:09Speaker 2: If it's, you know, a regular season game, I'm going
- 21:11Speaker 2: to take Josh Allen. But if it's, you know, they
- 21:13Speaker 2: wind up playing each other in an AFC championship game
- 21:15Speaker 2: or something, I'm going to be on Mahomes.
- 21:17Speaker 1: We have much more to get to. Cash, crash, clutch.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We'll hear from the Oracle, Evan Abrams, a lot more
- 21:24Speaker 1: as we sift through the pain. Let's get a quick
- 21:26Speaker 1: word from DraftKings.
- 21:28Speaker 2: The football season is back and our sponsor, DraftKings, has

- 22:01Speaker 1: We're dead in the water. If it crashes, it crashes, right?
- 22:06Speaker 4: Never stood a chance. No.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It was cash. For cash, crash, and clutch, our best, worst,
- 22:15Speaker 1: and the unexpected hero of the weekend. Who is your
- 22:20Speaker 1: cash and why is it Jacoby Myers?
- 22:22Speaker 2: It's Jacoby Myers.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Of course it is. You already knew.
- 22:25Speaker 2: My biggest win of the weekend. I lost my mind.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I was in the opposite end zone, but I lost
- 22:31Speaker 2: my mind when that happened. Not as much as the
- 22:34Speaker 2: Travis Hunter interception because that happened in my end zone
- 22:37Speaker 2: and obviously it was the first of his career, but
- 22:39Speaker 2: we're going to talk about that more later. later um
- 22:42Speaker 2: but yeah it had to be jacoby myers couldn't be
- 22:43Speaker 2: anybody else yeah it.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Was uh it was a great game all around for
- 22:47Speaker 1: the jags i guess any question marks on trevor lawrence
- 22:51Speaker 1: have those completely washed away at this point i feel
- 22:54Speaker 1: like they.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Have to right like don't get me wrong i know
- 22:56Speaker 2: that the most boneheaded interception of all time is coming Oh,
- 23:01Speaker 2: I'm probably going to be on Trevor to throw a
- 23:02Speaker 2: pick against Cincy. I'll tell you that. But yeah, I
- 23:07Speaker 2: think that you can't really, when they're outscoring people the
- 23:10Speaker 2: way that they have been at home, I just, I
- 23:12Speaker 2: don't think that you can hate on him anymore. I
- 23:14Speaker 2: think in his last like 10 games, I want to
- 23:17Speaker 2: say he's, only thrown like two interceptions if I'm not
- 23:20Speaker 2: mistaken Evan can probably correct me there but that feels
- 23:23Speaker 2: like what that answer is it.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Feels right he's been he's been damn near perfect dating
- 23:28Speaker 1: back to last season a lot of that was schedule
- 23:29Speaker 1: related but I mean now going up against some good
- 23:33Speaker 1: teams like New England and I'm fascinated to see what
- 23:37Speaker 1: happens with Jacksonville and Cincinnati Cincinnati winds up losing to
- 23:41Speaker 1: the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it's an NF or an AFC
- 23:44Speaker 1: North toss up game. Whatever doesn't really tell you too
- 23:47Speaker 1: much about the season. One of the only bets I
- 23:50Speaker 1: have made, you know, I like my Sunday night overnights
- 23:53Speaker 1: Jags plus two and a half. I have not gotten
- 23:56Speaker 1: the Jags wrong yet. I've got a pretty good beat
- 23:58Speaker 1: on this team against the spread. and I don't think
- 24:01Speaker 1: the market is fully capturing that this might be the
- 24:05Speaker 1: best team in the NFL. We talked about that. There's
- 24:07Speaker 1: not that one team standing above the rest. It might
- 24:10Speaker 1: be Jacksonville one loss in Denver. No shame in that.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So do you think Denver is better than them though?
- 24:18Speaker 1: I don't think Denver is better than Jacksonville. I think
- 24:21Speaker 1: that home field advantage is serious. And I think a
- 24:23Speaker 1: desperation spot for, for Denver and, If you if you
- 24:28Speaker 1: have Bo Nix down by 10, you got to have
- 24:30Speaker 1: him down by 17 because the dude is coming back.
- 24:33Speaker 1: So that's kind of just fit the Denver game script
- 24:37Speaker 1: and a desperation home opener. There was just a lot
- 24:40Speaker 1: that that was going against Jacksonville in that game.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Cash for me is Jameer Gibbs, one of. of all
- 24:47Speaker 1: the treacherous things that happened on Sunday, the lions barely
- 24:51Speaker 1: covering the number against the jets. That's Jameer Gibbs. It
- 24:54Speaker 1: took three touchdowns from the man. Talk about the futures
- 24:58Speaker 1: that are looking good for us. One of the ones
- 25:00Speaker 1: that I gave out in our sea of futures during
- 25:02Speaker 1: the off season was over 12 and a half rushing
- 25:04Speaker 1: touchdowns for Jameer Gibbs. He's got four on the season already,
- 25:08Speaker 1: and it looks like he's going to coast to the over.
- 25:10Speaker 1: He's just incredible. And it's awesome to see from a
- 25:13Speaker 1: fantasy perspective that, The debate was Bijan Robinson or Jameer Gibbs.
- 25:18Speaker 1: And usually when there's a debate of two players at
- 25:21Speaker 1: the top of a draft, one of them ends up
- 25:23Speaker 1: being a total bust. Both of these guys are awesome.
- 25:26Speaker 1: And I love to see that both of these players
- 25:28Speaker 1: are delivering on that. I'm glad that we're seeing a
- 25:31Speaker 1: running back renaissance. If you have a star back right
- 25:34Speaker 1: now who's thriving, you're really tough to beat. Look at
- 25:37Speaker 1: the Ravens. Look at the Chiefs. Look at the Lions.
- 25:40Speaker 1: These teams that can just beat you with the ground game.
- 25:44Speaker 1: are really, really tough. So we don't cover the spread
- 25:46Speaker 1: without you, Jameer. He is my cash of the week.
- 25:50Speaker 1: All right. Crash. I mean, I could go on for days.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I mean, where do I begin? Justin Herbert, Baker Mayfield,
- 25:57Speaker 1: Cam Ward, ass on top of ass on top of ass.
- 26:02Speaker 1: None of them had any business not covering the spread
- 26:05Speaker 1: for us this week. And thank God we got that
- 26:09Speaker 1: good number on Tennessee. I can't get that out of
- 26:10Speaker 1: my head. But listen to this second half possessions for
- 26:13Speaker 1: the Bucs. Punt, punt, field goal, punt, punt, field goal, interception, interception.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Whatever you have said about Baker Mayfield might be right.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I think my crash, it could be Baker, but it's
- 26:25Speaker 2: going to be the Cincinnati Bengals. I cannot get over
- 26:29Speaker 2: them losing to this Steelers team. The Steelers are bad.
- 26:34Speaker 2: And I honestly had you asked me this question a
- 26:36Speaker 2: week ago about who I thought the best team right
- 26:38Speaker 2: now was. It probably would have been Cincinnati because their
- 26:41Speaker 2: defense was playing a lot better than I think people
- 26:43Speaker 2: expected them to be. And Joe Burrow was playing at
- 26:46Speaker 2: a really high level. Obviously, the back injury was a
- 26:48Speaker 2: question for a second. But you let the Steelers go
- 26:52Speaker 2: out there and beat you yesterday. And I understand that
- 26:54Speaker 2: divisional games are different. But I can't take you seriously
- 26:57Speaker 2: when you lose to that bad of a team.
- 27:02Speaker 1: So I think that we kind of have to just
- 27:05Speaker 1: throw out games that happen in the AFC North as
- 27:08Speaker 1: difficult as it is as far as coming up with
- 27:11Speaker 1: grand conclusions. All of these teams, they just do this
- 27:14Speaker 1: every year of my entire life. All of these games,
- 27:17Speaker 1: it doesn't matter how good you are, how bad you are.
- 27:20Speaker 1: They all feel like they're decided by three points, not
- 27:23Speaker 1: taking Pittsburgh plus the points. I didn't end up betting
- 27:25Speaker 1: this game. If anything, I agreed with you pregame on
- 27:29Speaker 1: Cincinnati being the side because I pittsburgh's just looked so
- 27:32Speaker 1: dreadful i thought once cincinnati got going they were going
- 27:34Speaker 1: to score there's no way pittsburgh was going to keep
- 27:37Speaker 1: up that was vintage aaron rogers though and i don't
- 27:40Speaker 1: know how many more of those he has in his
- 27:42Speaker 1: bag he looked great i mean the ball was zipping
- 27:45Speaker 1: out of his hand.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Alive after that hit he took last.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Week it does uh speak well to either his toughness
- 27:53Speaker 1: or ashwagandha one of the two i guess.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Um i think you mean ayahuasca That's the one I meant.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I think you can buy ashwagandha over the counter. You
- 28:01Speaker 1: can buy that at GNC.
- 28:02Speaker 2: You certainly can.
- 28:04Speaker 1: My clutch of the week, Marcus Mariota. Gray haired and all.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Tremendous performance. Knocked me clean out of my survivor pool.
- 28:11Speaker 1: So no $ 2 million for me. Thank you very much.
- 28:13Speaker 1: But respect where respect is earned. And if I was
- 28:18Speaker 1: to grow out my hair, you'd see the gray hair.
- 28:20Speaker 1: So I can vibe with the man who's rocking the grays.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Three touchdowns. zero turnovers game ceiling run on third down.
- 28:29Speaker 1: It was third and seven minute 36 on the clock.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Seattle just needs to get the ball back. They win
- 28:35Speaker 1: the game with a field goal. He tucks it on
- 28:37Speaker 1: an RPO and dives to clinch the win. That was
- 28:41Speaker 1: big for Mariota.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I have something for you.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:47Speaker 2: All of the weird quarterbacks to win a game yesterday.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Deshaun Watson, Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Jones,
- 28:56Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins, and Kyler Murray.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Wow.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Imagine having that parlay. Imagine having the crap quarterback parlay.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Somebody out there. I'm sure somebody out there cashed that.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Thank you to Lamar Jackson and Brock Purdy and Trevor
- 29:12Speaker 1: Lawrence for at least retaining... some sanity in the world,
- 29:16Speaker 1: but that is a good example of like, you just can't,
- 29:20Speaker 1: you can't be scared off by these bad quarterbacks. They
- 29:23Speaker 1: do cover spreads. They do win games. You just have
- 29:27Speaker 1: to get them at the right price. Marcus Mariota. Well,
- 29:29Speaker 1: I did not make $ 2 million this year.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 29:32Speaker 1: I was going to take the crew out to dinner too,
- 29:34Speaker 1: with my winnings, but mariotta secured a 200 000 bonus
- 29:38Speaker 1: for himself with the win every time he plays 60
- 29:42Speaker 1: of the snaps and they win he gets 200 000
- 29:44Speaker 1: so uh that's a big day for the.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Mariotta family My clutch is going to be Tyler loop
- 29:53Speaker 2: and the Baltimore Ravens. I, after last season, I was
- 29:57Speaker 2: curious him missing that kick. If he was going to
- 30:00Speaker 2: be their kicker this year, I know that there was
- 30:01Speaker 2: kind of like a kicker shortage in the NFL. So
- 30:03Speaker 2: you can't really get rid of a guy who has talent,
- 30:06Speaker 2: but a 56 yarder to win the game, mostly because
- 30:08Speaker 2: of like, no offense, Gifford and F up on like
- 30:11Speaker 2: the Cowboys end, but look at the kid go good
- 30:14Speaker 2: for Baltimore Lamar. So I was, I couldn't sleep last
- 30:17Speaker 2: night because, because I was just like, so I couldn't
- 30:20Speaker 2: come down from how happy I was. And I was
- 30:23Speaker 2: scrolling on my phone at like three 30 in the morning.
- 30:25Speaker 2: And I have Lamar Jackson's tweet notifications on, because I
- 30:27Speaker 2: think he's a hilarious Twitter follow. And Lamar Jackson was
- 30:30Speaker 2: just like tweeting at four o'clock in the morning. I
- 30:32Speaker 2: was like, he was, did you see him running around
- 30:34Speaker 2: the field in Rio after he hit that?
- 30:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 30:36Speaker 1: He was having the time of his life. Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 2: But yeah, me, me and me and Lamar were up
- 30:40Speaker 2: at like four o'clock in the morning last night.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I got to bring our producer and Gifford is a
- 30:46Speaker 1: resident Cowboys fan. The Cowboys kick a field goal, leaving
- 30:51Speaker 1: seven seconds on the clock. I cannot believe that that
- 30:53Speaker 1: was enough for the Ravens to drive the field and
- 30:55Speaker 1: get into field goal range. But did you agree in
- 30:58Speaker 1: the moment? Obviously, in hindsight, I guess we can come
- 31:00Speaker 1: up with different opinions. But did you agree in the
- 31:02Speaker 1: moment with the Cowboys not going for the win?
- 31:05Speaker 3: I think that Brian Schottenheimer needs to coach every game
- 31:10Speaker 3: like his defense is the most incompetent group. And so
- 31:16Speaker 3: in that moment, I thought there should have been more
- 31:18Speaker 3: conversation about going forward on fourth down and just winning
- 31:21Speaker 3: it or, you know, winning it there. And also, I mean,
- 31:27Speaker 3: the third call, the third down call being that cowardly
- 31:30Speaker 3: as well, being like a fade to George Pickens or
- 31:34Speaker 3: nothing is it's just so cowardly when you don't want
- 31:36Speaker 3: that defense back on the field in regulation or in overtime.
- 31:40Speaker 3: When that one did like play for overtime, I don't
- 31:43Speaker 3: want that defense back on the field. Your offense is awesome.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Just go win the game there. Or at least go
- 31:48Speaker 3: down swinging with Dak and your receiver.
- 31:51Speaker 1: And it's an international game, you know? Put on a show.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Who's going to go to overtime? You got all that
- 31:57Speaker 1: offensive weaponry. Diva of the week. He's just a diva. No,
- 32:02Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 32:02Speaker 2: An impossible diva.
- 32:05Speaker 1: What would make you say something like that?
- 32:07Speaker 4: It's pretty obvious.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Diva alert! A rare move here on the favorites, but
- 32:12Speaker 1: I'm going to look the way of the college ranks.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Colin Simmons, one of the best edge rushers in the nation,
- 32:19Speaker 1: sacks Tennessee's quarterback. It would have put them at like
- 32:22Speaker 1: fourth and 30 on the next play, but instead he
- 32:26Speaker 1: stands next to the guy and And pretends to urinate
- 32:30Speaker 1: on him. That was... How did I miss this? Are
- 32:33Speaker 1: you kidding me? How did I miss? I watched that
- 32:35Speaker 1: game in its entirety. This is like Kendra Middleton algorithm
- 32:39Speaker 1: to its finest. I'm surprised that this didn't land on
- 32:42Speaker 1: your page.
- 32:43Speaker 2: No, I saw the ball wipe and sniff. I don't
- 32:45Speaker 2: know if you saw that one. Did you see that?
- 32:47Speaker 3: I did.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I did on the running back touchdown.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but I didn't see that one.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so Colin Simmons, phenomenal edge rusher. Number one for
- 32:54Speaker 1: the Texas Longhorns. They had Tennessee dead to rights and
- 33:00Speaker 1: they would have blown them out. Had had this play stood.
- 33:04Speaker 1: It was third and 17 or something. Yeah. They sack him.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Tennessee covered. Thank God.
- 33:11Speaker 1: They would not. And so this is why I was
- 33:13Speaker 1: so frustrated with this because I was on Texas in
- 33:15Speaker 1: this game and Texas without a doubt covers the spread.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Cause it would have just been a route from there,
- 33:20Speaker 1: but they let Tennessee back in. I think Tennessee, if
- 33:23Speaker 1: I remember correctly, Saturday feels like seven weeks ago. I
- 33:26Speaker 1: think Tennessee went down and scored. So instead of punting
- 33:30Speaker 1: from your own end zone, you end up scoring points.
- 33:32Speaker 1: This is how spreads are covered in football, but there
- 33:35Speaker 1: was just, I mean, it was the dumbest celebration. It
- 33:39Speaker 1: was so unnecessary and, I would have a really hard
- 33:42Speaker 1: time keeping a player like that on the field, but
- 33:46Speaker 1: he did end up setting the sec sack record in
- 33:49Speaker 1: a single game. So I guess I understand where Sark
- 33:51Speaker 1: is coming from.
- 33:52Speaker 2: I just, that program feels like it's a mess and
- 33:56Speaker 2: they don't have a, a man in the.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Room, a bunch of boys.
- 34:02Speaker 2: They do not have a bunch of boys in that
- 34:05Speaker 2: locker room. And I think that that's a problem. They're
- 34:07Speaker 2: beatable on the NFL side.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Have you seen the Aaron Rodgers walking off the field
- 34:14Speaker 1: after Michael Pittman drops a pass and says, that guy
- 34:18Speaker 1: sucks ass?
- 34:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Is that an AI edit? I honestly don't know if
- 34:23Speaker 1: I'm being boomer duped on this.
- 34:25Speaker 2: It's real, but I can't tell if he's saying that
- 34:27Speaker 2: guy sucks ass or that play sucks ass.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Evan chiming in saying the same thing in our chat
- 34:34Speaker 2: as well.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I think that I can't, I don't know which one
- 34:37Speaker 2: it was, but that is also a diva of the week,
- 34:39Speaker 2: but I feel like he's permanent diva of the week.
- 34:41Speaker 2: My diva of the week. We need to talk about this.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Have you seen the ball boy in Jacksonville? Travis Hunter
- 34:49Speaker 2: has his first career interception. Josh Heinz Allen goes to
- 34:52Speaker 2: get the ball while they're celebrating because listen, do I
- 34:55Speaker 2: think that he is overpaid for the amount of, you know,
- 34:57Speaker 2: production sack wise? I don't want to talk about the
- 34:59Speaker 2: run game sack wise that he has gotten this year.
- 35:02Speaker 2: We can have those conversations, but he is a leader.
- 35:06Speaker 2: And while everyone else is celebrating, he's doing the thing
- 35:08Speaker 2: that the dad in the room does, which is going
- 35:10Speaker 2: to get the football for his first career interception. Because
- 35:13Speaker 2: as someone who's been there and done that, he knows
- 35:15Speaker 2: that that's something that Travis is going to want. He's
- 35:17Speaker 2: just too caught up in the moment celebrating. The ball
- 35:19Speaker 2: boy will not give Josh Hines-Allen the football. And he
- 35:25Speaker 2: tries to grab it from him and he starts screaming
- 35:27Speaker 2: that you can't touch him. And then he tries to
- 35:30Speaker 2: grab it again and is like, Josh is punching me.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw that. That was, I was trying to
- 35:36Speaker 1: figure out what was going on. I didn't, it didn't
- 35:38Speaker 1: click to me as I'm watching this, that it was
- 35:41Speaker 1: in the effort of, to get the football for Travis Hunter,
- 35:45Speaker 1: which is a really good teammate move, but it's, there's
- 35:49Speaker 1: a lot going on in that moment. Maybe the ball
- 35:51Speaker 1: boy was confused. I, the only, is he just, is
- 35:55Speaker 1: he just trying to make a star of himself? Maybe
- 35:57Speaker 1: get a lawsuit on his hands.
- 35:59Speaker 2: There's three things I can think of. One, There are
- 36:03Speaker 2: like people take balls for things all the time. I
- 36:06Speaker 2: agree with Evan chiming in once again, saying that he
- 36:09Speaker 2: wanted to sell the bowl. I think that that's an option.
- 36:11Speaker 2: I think that one, it might've been one of the
- 36:14Speaker 2: Patriots game balls. And I know that they have like
- 36:16Speaker 2: the microchip technology and all of that stuff. So maybe
- 36:18Speaker 2: he thought that he was doing his job or three.
- 36:21Speaker 2: It could be the lawsuit thing. I really don't know.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 1: It's a, I always assume lawsuit because everyone's so litigation
- 36:28Speaker 1: happy in this country. That's my first thought.
- 36:31Speaker 2: When you're watching football on Sundays and all of these
- 36:34Speaker 2: guys are out there together, you don't really recognize how
- 36:37Speaker 2: large they are because all of them are large. Him
- 36:40Speaker 2: standing next to this ball boy.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I mean, he looked at the ball boy, look terrified.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Rightfully so.
- 36:46Speaker 2: He didn't though, because he was like screaming at him.
- 36:50Speaker 2: But like when you see football players next to like
- 36:53Speaker 2: just regular people, it really puts into perspective how massive
- 36:56Speaker 2: these guys are. That was like my first thought. I
- 36:58Speaker 2: was just like, he could pick him up and throw
- 37:00Speaker 2: him like the Hulk right now.
- 37:02Speaker 1: No doubt. No, no doubt.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Like, why are you being such a dweeb? If you
- 37:05Speaker 2: get in trouble, just be like, yeah, he was pressuring me.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Just let him freaking have it.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Exactly. When the guy with the jersey and the helmet
- 37:11Speaker 1: on that's three times your size asks for the football,
- 37:14Speaker 1: maybe a blotch. Yes, sir. Let's bring in the Oracle,
- 37:18Speaker 1: Evan Abrams. Evan, what did you learn this weekend that
- 37:22Speaker 1: you will be taking with you, my friend? I don't
- 37:24Speaker 1: know if I.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Learned anything from the Chargers game, except that it's just ridiculous.
- 37:28Speaker 4: I put out that tweet that they just continue to
- 37:29Speaker 4: do the same thing over and over again. So sad
- 37:32Speaker 4: for their fan base. But it's okay. You have Seattle
- 37:35Speaker 4: next week and Seattle off a loss. I'm sure it
- 37:37Speaker 4: should be just fine. I think the other things in
- 37:39Speaker 4: terms of learning this week, 10, five and one second
- 37:42Speaker 4: half overs. So all the chaos that we saw did
- 37:46Speaker 4: tend to happen in that window, which was interesting enough.
- 37:48Speaker 4: It is fun that we have five quarterbacks who are
- 37:52Speaker 4: 0-3 against the spread and but only two quarterbacks who
- 37:55Speaker 4: are 3-0 against the spread. Do you know both?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Two quarterbacks 3-0.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Is it Trevor?
- 38:03Speaker 1: No, Trevor didn't cover against Denver. Oh, not Denver. What
- 38:05Speaker 1: about Josh Allen?
- 38:07Speaker 4: It's Josh Allen because of the Charger game. They cover
- 38:10Speaker 4: by a half point.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Josh Allen and Kirk Cousins.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Kirk O'Chains.
- 38:16Speaker 1: You like that? You like that?
- 38:19Speaker 4: They are both the 3-0 against the spread. So that's
- 38:21Speaker 4: fun in itself. If you're looking forward to week four,
- 38:25Speaker 4: I put this in the primer already. 0-3 teams in
- 38:27Speaker 4: week four facing a team with at least one outright win,
- 38:31Speaker 4: 47-25 against the spread, 65% since 0-5, 13-3 since 2020.
- 38:37Speaker 4: That is Dolphins, Chargers, Texans, Bucs, and Titans.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Oh, man, it's getting worse every week. I had a
- 38:47Speaker 1: stomach for it in week three. I'm not sure by
- 38:49Speaker 1: week four I've got a stomach for it.
- 38:51Speaker 4: And this one was just fun. So the Panthers coming
- 38:53Speaker 4: off a loss to Cleveland. Panthers are on a 12-game
- 38:56Speaker 4: ATS winning streak off a loss dating back to 2024.
- 38:58Speaker 4: This is tied for the third longest ATS winning streak
- 39:02Speaker 4: after a loss in the same season as Super Bowl era.
- 39:04Speaker 4: The streak they are going for is, of course, the
- 39:08Speaker 4: Detroit Lions streak, who had 13 straight, who they face
- 39:12Speaker 4: on Sunday Night Football this week. So we will see history,
- 39:17Speaker 4: and they will be going against Campbell & Co.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I'm surprised, Evan. That was one. I was staring at
- 39:22Speaker 1: the lines. I place a couple of bets every Sunday
- 39:25Speaker 1: night trying to get ahead of some line movement, and
- 39:29Speaker 1: I saw the Panthers. sitting at an even money three
- 39:32Speaker 1: last night and thought, Oh, I probably need to buy this.
- 39:35Speaker 1: And I hesitated and I'm glad that I did because
- 39:38Speaker 1: we are at plus three and a half minus one
- 39:41Speaker 1: 12 on draft Kings right now. I'm a little surprised.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I don't know if it's just because people love betting
- 39:46Speaker 1: the lions or if there's an injury that I'm missing,
- 39:48Speaker 1: but I'm surprised that the Panthers are getting the hook
- 39:50Speaker 1: on Sunday night right now. And that the line seems
- 39:53Speaker 1: to be moving in that direction.
- 39:55Speaker 4: I just think everyone's going to bet Detroit. I think
- 39:57Speaker 4: first look at the situation, I think someone any better
- 40:02Speaker 4: probably would be a little shocked to see three or
- 40:05Speaker 4: less against the Carolina team who just lost to Cleveland.
- 40:08Speaker 4: But I will say this, Carolina rode much different team
- 40:12Speaker 4: than Carolina at home. They usually play much better at home.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Kendra, I don't know if it's going to take much
- 40:16Speaker 1: of a battle from you, but I'm almost positive already
- 40:19Speaker 1: that the Panthers plus three and a half is going
- 40:21Speaker 1: to be in there.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Let me think about it.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'm just going to give you a couple that I
- 40:26Speaker 1: like now. That way you can sort of like pre-read
- 40:31Speaker 1: your veto.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Should I pull up the schedule?
- 40:33Speaker 1: I like the Jags. Jags plus two and a half,
- 40:35Speaker 1: just in case anybody out there is curious. Jags plus
- 40:38Speaker 1: two and a half, I've already bet. And the Raiders
- 40:42Speaker 1: plus four and a half at even money, I bet.
- 40:46Speaker 2: There's no way that New England is going to get
- 40:48Speaker 2: right against Buffalo, right?
- 40:50Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 40:51Speaker 4: It's the perfect game for New England.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Exactly. That just feels like. I just, I can't keep
- 40:56Speaker 1: getting in front of Josh Allen. I've that three, you know,
- 40:59Speaker 1: against the spread. The reason I know that is because
- 41:01Speaker 1: I think I've bet against him every week so far.
- 41:05Speaker 1: So I've, I have, yeah, I did. Cause I was
- 41:08Speaker 1: on the Texans. I was on the lions and I
- 41:10Speaker 1: was on the chargers. So I feel like it's, it's
- 41:14Speaker 1: a Patriots spot, but.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I also feel like it's a Patriots spot, but they're
- 41:18Speaker 2: in federal prison. So it doesn't even matter.
- 41:21Speaker 3: That one.
- 41:22Speaker 1: We're skipping Patriots bills. That one will not end up.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because it's opening lines. So what does that
- 41:28Speaker 2: even look like right now?
- 41:30Speaker 1: It's seven right now.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Divisional games are different.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I know.
- 41:35Speaker 2: They're in federal prison. I don't know.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Last thing for you, Evan. Total yard margin for 3-0 teams.
- 41:43Speaker 1: The Chiefs are plus 415. 49ers plus 259. Bills plus 121.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Raiders minus 15. You ready for Minnesota? How about minus 244?
- 41:55Speaker 1: So does that make... Do you know the stat? What's
- 41:58Speaker 1: the stat?
- 41:59Speaker 4: First team to start 3-0 under 250 total yards in
- 42:01Speaker 4: each game since 1957 Browns. So yes, it is a
- 42:03Speaker 4: little different.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Uh, dolphins plus 10. Is that worth a bet early on?
- 42:16Speaker 4: It was 11 and a half last night. So you
- 42:18Speaker 4: are losing the, uh, losing the steam. And I think
- 42:20Speaker 4: people are kind of seeing what you're seeing, but, uh, yeah,
- 42:23Speaker 4: Kyler is that big of a favorite only happened a
- 42:25Speaker 4: few times. Crazy situation, but that defense is stifling.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Yes. They're going to, they're going to tee off on
- 42:31Speaker 1: Malik Willis and Malik Willis without Devon H and most likely.
- 42:35Speaker 1: treacherous stuff thanks so much i.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Appreciate it season goodbye.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I love ollie gordon go check out the primer yeah
- 42:42Speaker 1: maybe we just bet a ollie anytime Time for our
- 42:52Speaker 1: Monday night football prime time. Same game parlay presented by DraftKings.
- 42:57Speaker 1: We've got Eagles Bears tonight. Eagles favored by three and
- 43:01Speaker 1: a half. I like the under at 41 and a half.
- 43:04Speaker 1: That'll be my leg of the parlay. The Eagles offense
- 43:06Speaker 1: is plotting and slow. Chicago's got a backup quarterback in
- 43:11Speaker 1: Tyson Bajent. More than anything, I just don't think that
- 43:14Speaker 1: we've seen Philly's defense play to the level of what
- 43:16Speaker 1: it's capable of talent wise. They should be able to
- 43:19Speaker 1: flex a little bit here. I don't see a lot
- 43:20Speaker 1: of scoring. I will toss the under into our SGP.
- 43:25Speaker 2: This is a Case Keenum game, if I'm not mistaken, correct?
- 43:28Speaker 2: Tyson Bajent has a concussion.
- 43:29Speaker 1: But he got cleared, didn't he?
- 43:31Speaker 4: No, Keenum will start. Bajent is the backup.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Oh, my bad. All right. Either way, I still like
- 43:37Speaker 1: the under. I actually like the under more with Case Keenum.
- 43:40Speaker 2: I also like the under, but I'm looking at a
- 43:43Speaker 2: Case Keenum interception. Minus 129 feels like a decent price
- 43:47Speaker 2: for a third string quarterback to turn it over. to
- 43:50Speaker 2: that defense.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Love it well um yeah it shows how much pain
- 43:54Speaker 1: i was in yesterday that i didn't even realize case
- 43:56Speaker 1: keenum was starting in this game but uh hard to
- 43:59Speaker 1: argue with it case keenum int under 41 and a
- 44:03Speaker 1: half over on draft kings go and place your bets
- 44:07Speaker 1: there why should you place your bets on draft kings
- 44:09Speaker 1: because all draft kings customers are getting a profit boost
- 44:12Speaker 1: every game day in the month of september and that
- 44:15Speaker 1: is why the crown is yours the favorites will return
- 44:19Speaker 1: on thursday as we deep dive into week four of
- 44:22Speaker 1: the nfl and you can catch it right here on
- 44:24Speaker 1: the action network youtube page and wherever you download your
