A new Skyline Chili in Covington, Kentucky, made history when Jeff Lawson, a 41-year-old lawyer and devoted fan, became its very first paying customer. Known for being Cincinnati’s culinary DNA, Skyline is now under new ownership by One Holland Group, who also donated to local youth programs and The Point/Arc of Covington. Jeff, who drove from Indiana just to catch Reds games and satisfy his chili cravings, called the moment “pretty cool” — especially since he’s never been first at anything before.
