- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two-time People's Choice Award-winning podcast. Hello, everybody. We are
- 0:13Speaker 1: scrubbing in and it is Thursday, September 10th, a.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Very happy engagement anniversary.
- 0:23Speaker 1: That is the voice of my wonderful, loving husband who
- 0:27Speaker 1: is scrubbing in this week.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Oh, I'll never forget this day. Yeah, it's a very
- 0:33Speaker 2: big day. No, I will never forget this day. It
- 0:34Speaker 2: was an amazing day. Actually, one of my favorite days.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Ever.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah, the feeling, I agree. It really is an amazing day.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you just wanted to like brush over it.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I don't want to brush over it, but like, no,
- 0:44Speaker 2: I'm down, 100% down with acknowledging it. It was one
- 0:47Speaker 2: of the most amazing days. I'll never forget the feeling
- 0:50Speaker 2: of just like the day leading up to it, the prep,
- 0:52Speaker 2: but then also like, There was a really special feeling
- 0:55Speaker 2: that like cloud nine feeling like right after and like
- 1:01Speaker 2: for a while after that. It was different than when
- 1:05Speaker 2: we got married. It was like kind of.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 2: The first time we had that feeling.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And yeah. So I'll never forget it.
- 1:14Speaker 1: In the spirit of our engagement anniversary, in case you
- 1:16Speaker 1: were listening and you do not know, we got engaged on.
- 1:20Speaker 1: September 10th, 2023. So it's been three years.
- 1:23Speaker 2: You know what didn't even occur to us? What? That
- 1:27Speaker 2: our wedding engagement photographer was the photographer at the movie
- 1:34Speaker 2: that we went to the other night.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 2: But what are the chances of that? Oh, yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I'm saying, like, we hadn't seen him in however many years.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and he was a photographer at this movie screening
- 1:48Speaker 1: that we went to, which.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Is so random. So that's something.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So I have a poem that I wrote for you.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Oh, me too.
- 1:58Speaker 3: You do?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Let's hear yours first.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Okay, don't touch your phone. It's called Best Decision Ever,
- 2:05Speaker 1: Rom-Com Edition.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Before we start, how much of this was chat GPT?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Get out of here. No trailer could have done it justice.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I've dreamed of this day and overly discussed this. September 10th,
- 2:17Speaker 1: you kneeling, me saying yes, and you remembering exactly which
- 2:21Speaker 1: one I wanted as my engagement dress. But it's not
- 2:25Speaker 1: all about the pretty days in our love story. It's
- 2:27Speaker 1: about the good, the bad, and every category. It's the
- 2:31Speaker 1: nights that weren't cute at all and you didn't flinch,
- 2:33Speaker 1: didn't stall. When everything felt heavy, dark, and unclear, you
- 2:37Speaker 1: just held my hand and stayed right here. No dramatic
- 2:41Speaker 1: music needed then, just you steady again and again. No
- 2:46Speaker 1: swelling strings, no perfect light, turning my worst days into
- 2:49Speaker 1: all right. So here's the plot twist. The romance isn't
- 2:52Speaker 1: the proposal scene. It's every day with you still choosing
- 2:56Speaker 1: to be my person in between. Best decision I ever made,
- 2:59Speaker 1: hands down. Rom-com writers, eat your hearts out. Would cast
- 3:03Speaker 1: you again in every scene. Real love's better than anything
- 3:06Speaker 1: you've ever dreamed.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Oh, that was so nice. 90% chat GPT, I would
- 3:13Speaker 2: say probably, but that was pretty good. It was really good.
- 3:15Speaker 2: You did a good, you like did good. It was,
- 3:17Speaker 2: that's really nice.
- 3:18Speaker 1: That is dark.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Mark, that was 90% chat GPT.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Mark has no idea. Why would Mark know? This is
- 3:24Speaker 1: my anniversary gift to you. Why would Mark have any idea?
- 3:27Speaker 2: I'm giving you your gift tonight.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Which is what?
- 3:31Speaker 2: You're going to have to wait and see.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You didn't get me a gift. You're going to go
- 3:36Speaker 1: and get me something.
- 3:36Speaker 2: No, no. I have a gift. I have a gift.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Anywho, September 10th it is. And it is a Dear
- 3:44Speaker 1: Banya episode today. I got a couple questions. I'm going
- 3:48Speaker 1: to save those because I asked you a couple of
- 3:53Speaker 1: the questions that came in on the other on Monday's episode.
- 3:57Speaker 1: We've got a lot of TTC questions. Um, and so
- 4:02Speaker 1: I wanted to kind of start with these just cause
- 4:05Speaker 1: they felt they're a little bit more like Banya. Um,
- 4:09Speaker 1: this one is from Natalie and she said, how is
- 4:11Speaker 1: Robbie handling your TTC journey and Tanya's health scare earlier
- 4:15Speaker 1: this year? His perspective, please.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Is that, that's a question for me.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:21Speaker 1: From Natalie.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Thank you for the question, Natalie. Um, Well, I think there's,
- 4:30Speaker 2: you know, there's like two sides of this. One is,
- 4:33Speaker 2: you know, my emotional state of dealing with kind of
- 4:38Speaker 2: everything that's gone on and kind of everything that's going on.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And then also like my supporting you and dealing with
- 4:47Speaker 2: you because our journeys, while one journey are like really,
- 4:52Speaker 2: we're going through, it's so different. Like you're really like,
- 4:57Speaker 2: going through a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot
- 4:59Speaker 2: more than I am physically, emotionally. So I guess I'll
- 5:07Speaker 2: start with kind of like my perspective on everything. I
- 5:10Speaker 2: am a very positive person. I'm a very, you know,
- 5:14Speaker 2: I read this book, The Sunshine Mind, go check it out.
- 5:16Speaker 2: But the concept, I mean, that's how I live my
- 5:18Speaker 2: life too. Like I'm very, very, very positive. I feel very, I...
- 5:27Speaker 2: anytime I'm going through a difficult time or even a
- 5:30Speaker 2: really like great time, I have, I think a very, like,
- 5:34Speaker 2: I have an ability to like put things in perspective. Right. And,
- 5:39Speaker 2: and so when we were at our lowest lows during
- 5:42Speaker 2: this process, I was able to put things in perspective,
- 5:45Speaker 2: you know, just primarily like, yes, we've gone through a lot, um,
- 5:52Speaker 2: some scary things. Um, but, At the same time, we're
- 5:58Speaker 2: so fortunate that it went as well as it did, right?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Like the silver lining of it all, that we are
- 6:06Speaker 2: in such an incredible position to eventually succeed in what
- 6:13Speaker 2: we're doing. And so for me, it's been, don't get
- 6:20Speaker 2: me wrong, it's been difficult, especially, and I know when
- 6:24Speaker 2: you're ready, you'll talk about it in more detail, but
- 6:26Speaker 2: especially kind of your health scare and the surgery that
- 6:28Speaker 2: you went through. uh, end of the year, that was
- 6:31Speaker 2: incredibly difficult, but I always felt that it was my
- 6:36Speaker 2: job to be strong for both of us and to
- 6:39Speaker 2: me and to like be your rock because you were
- 6:42Speaker 2: really the one kind of like going through it. Like
- 6:44Speaker 2: it was you, it was your body, it was your everything.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And so I really kind of, I did like address
- 6:53Speaker 2: my emotions, but really I was there for you and
- 6:55Speaker 2: my whole, uh, kind of, uh, purpose in over this
- 7:02Speaker 2: past like year plus has been to be there for
- 7:06Speaker 2: you as much as I can. I hope that I've
- 7:08Speaker 2: succeeded in that. Um, I do my best. So you
- 7:14Speaker 2: have had it rough. You, this is, you know, at
- 7:18Speaker 2: the end of the day, we're very, very, very, very lucky.
- 7:21Speaker 2: We're lucky in every single way. We're gonna, you know,
- 7:24Speaker 2: do this. It's, we're going to look back on all
- 7:27Speaker 2: of this and we're, and we're going to, it's just
- 7:28Speaker 2: going to be distant memories. So in that way, we're
- 7:31Speaker 2: very fortunate. There's people who are a lot worse off
- 7:33Speaker 2: than us. Um, and so I can't be like sad
- 7:40Speaker 2: about it, to be honest, but I, I, it's, it's
- 7:47Speaker 2: been so much for you that, um, I just want
- 7:55Speaker 2: to keep the positivity, keep the optimism because again, like
- 7:59Speaker 2: I said, I know that we're going to get through
- 8:00Speaker 2: this and look back on this and it'll just be
- 8:02Speaker 2: like a small blip in our story. No, what, what
- 8:10Speaker 2: are your thoughts?
- 8:11Speaker 1: No, I mean, it's like, it's just been the craziest
- 8:14Speaker 1: thing because I feel like we got married and we
- 8:18Speaker 1: had this like amazing, you know, you have this amazing
- 8:22Speaker 1: wedding and all the festivities leading up to it that
- 8:25Speaker 1: are so much fun. And then like you have your honeymoon,
- 8:28Speaker 1: you're on this like crazy high of life where it's like,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I mean, I think our wedding was like my favorite
- 8:33Speaker 1: weekend of my life. Like it was so much fun.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And you just, you're on this like crazy high. And
- 8:40Speaker 1: then we went straight into like, trying to conceive. And
- 8:46Speaker 1: it's just been like the craziest, like emotional rollercoaster I've
- 8:50Speaker 1: ever been on in my life. And like the, the,
- 8:54Speaker 1: like I've never been lower than I've been. And it's
- 8:58Speaker 1: like such a crazy juxtaposition going from like being like
- 9:03Speaker 1: the happiest you've ever been to the saddest you've ever been.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And like, I just don't even think I'm like equipped
- 9:09Speaker 1: to handle like all these emotions and, too much for me.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I think you got to give yourself a little bit
- 9:15Speaker 2: of grace and a little bit of credit. You've been
- 9:17Speaker 2: through a lot and you've handled it really, really well,
- 9:20Speaker 2: all things considered. And I think you have to like,
- 9:23Speaker 2: give yourself that grace because you've been handling it. So
- 9:26Speaker 2: for you to sit here and say that, like, you
- 9:28Speaker 2: don't think you're capable of it.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I'm not like, that's the thing. I'm like living my
- 9:31Speaker 1: life and I'm like going through my life. But like
- 9:33Speaker 1: at the end of the day, like everything revolves around
- 9:35Speaker 1: my cycle and my fertility and like blood work and like,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I mean, just everything.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but you're doing it. No question. It's hard, but
- 9:45Speaker 2: you're doing it. I know, but I'm doing it.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's all I'm focusing on. Like, it's like, I can't even,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I can't even do anything else.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I'm obvious.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm going through my life and I'm like doing what
- 9:55Speaker 1: needs to be done. But like mentally, I'm just like
- 9:59Speaker 1: thinking about. other things, visualizing your sperm meeting my, I
- 10:03Speaker 1: mean like literally it's like, it's constantly on my mind,
- 10:06Speaker 1: you know, like I bring socks to the movie theaters
- 10:10Speaker 1: to keep my feet warm. And like, it's just constantly
- 10:14Speaker 1: on my mind and it's just, it's like exhausting, but
- 10:16Speaker 1: you're right. Like I look at other people who have
- 10:21Speaker 1: gone through, you know, five years of this, six years
- 10:24Speaker 1: of this, you know, AMH 0.03 and my AMH is
- 10:29Speaker 1: so high. And yes, my age plays a fact, but, um,
- 10:36Speaker 1: I mean, it plays a role, but it's just been
- 10:38Speaker 1: like so crazy. And sometimes I would, I would get
- 10:42Speaker 1: frustrated because I felt like you, um, you do, you
- 10:46Speaker 1: try to keep me positive. You try to like keep
- 10:48Speaker 1: the train going. And I just want to be like,
- 10:50Speaker 1: can't you just like cry with me? You know, like
- 10:52Speaker 1: I would just want you to cry.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I've cried.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's not, I'm not saying you've never cried,
- 10:56Speaker 1: but like sometimes.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I just, no, I know. And that's, I mean, that's like,
- 11:01Speaker 2: that's like the classic, like men, women, like thing where
- 11:04Speaker 2: it's like women, if they're expressing or going through something,
- 11:09Speaker 2: they want the guy to just like understand it and
- 11:13Speaker 2: acknowledge it, not try to like problem solve. And, all
- 11:16Speaker 2: I want to do is like problem solve. Right. So
- 11:18Speaker 2: for sure that's, but I also, I am conscious of that.
- 11:23Speaker 2: And I, and I try to truly understand and like
- 11:26Speaker 2: acknowledge what you're going through. And we've listened, like I said,
- 11:31Speaker 2: there will come a time when this period of your life,
- 11:34Speaker 2: of our lives that you're saying was like impossible. You
- 11:37Speaker 2: couldn't even handle it. We'll be a blip in the story. Yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And I just, you know, I, whatever, whatever emotions you're
- 11:47Speaker 2: going through right now, you're going to go through, we're
- 11:51Speaker 2: going to go through. Um, and that's totally normal and natural.
- 11:54Speaker 2: And if we weren't sad, that would be weird. Um,
- 11:59Speaker 2: but I have no, no doubts that we're going to
- 12:01Speaker 2: get through this and, and look back on this as
- 12:04Speaker 2: kind of just like a short blip in our story.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah. I do feel like also like it is obviously
- 12:13Speaker 1: it's like my body. And so it's like all, you know,
- 12:15Speaker 1: all these things that I'm doing, but I also feel
- 12:17Speaker 1: like you have, you know, you stepped up your game
- 12:21Speaker 1: and you've also like taken and like, that's where like
- 12:23Speaker 1: your whole chef personality came out with this because you
- 12:28Speaker 1: were like, I, there was like a point where my
- 12:30Speaker 1: doctor was like very adamant about me focusing on my
- 12:34Speaker 1: my diet and my nutrition and you like took it
- 12:37Speaker 1: head on and you were like, okay, you know, I can't,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I can't physically do this, but what I can do
- 12:42Speaker 1: is I can provide you the food, the nutritional food
- 12:45Speaker 1: that you need to like get through this. So that's
- 12:47Speaker 1: when you started like becoming fricking Bobby Flay over here
- 12:51Speaker 1: and like making me every single meal, like from scratch
- 12:54Speaker 1: with like the best ingredients. And, um, that's been so helpful.
- 12:59Speaker 1: And it just kind of like, you know, I just
- 13:02Speaker 1: know that you're so in it with me.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And I also feel like I know that you're carrying 90%
- 13:08Speaker 2: of this like load.
- 13:09Speaker 1: No, I know. But like you come to like all
- 13:11Speaker 1: the appointments with me, like you're, you're in it with
- 13:13Speaker 1: me so much. And I've talked to so many women
- 13:15Speaker 1: who don't have that and are like going through it,
- 13:20Speaker 1: not alone because they have husbands, but they're just not involved.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And definitely not as some women are going through it alone. Right.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I mean, right.
- 13:30Speaker 1: And so I'm, I do feel very lucky and like
- 13:33Speaker 1: grateful to have you.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I got your back, baby. I love you.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I love you too.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Take a deep breath.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's fine. We're fine. Everything's fine.
- 13:45Speaker 2: No, we're great.
- 13:47Speaker 1: We are great. And I just, I try not to,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I don't like to talk about it because I feel
- 13:51Speaker 1: like I'm, Because people keep asking me to open up
- 13:56Speaker 1: and share about what I'm doing and stuff, but I
- 14:00Speaker 1: just feel like there's so much information out there, and
- 14:04Speaker 1: I feel like I digest so much of it.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Your entire algorithm at this point is...
- 14:11Speaker 2: This stuff.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I know. And it's like overwhelming, you know, and then
- 14:15Speaker 1: you hear.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I don't think it's healthy to watch all that stuff,
- 14:18Speaker 2: to be honest, because first of all.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I don't think so either, but I can't stop.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I think 99% of the stuff on Instagram is total BS.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I know, but I also think that. it's like if
- 14:28Speaker 1: it worked for somebody else, why wouldn't it work for me?
- 14:30Speaker 1: But then I also know in my brain, like what
- 14:32Speaker 1: works for somebody else might not work for me. So
- 14:34Speaker 1: it's like this weird thing of like, I want to
- 14:37Speaker 1: try everything that I can. Why wouldn't I try everything
- 14:39Speaker 1: that I possibly can? Um, and so I don't want
- 14:43Speaker 1: to be that person for somebody else. Do you know
- 14:46Speaker 1: what I mean? Like, I don't want to, I don't know.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I think that I'm no expert. I, you know, I
- 14:52Speaker 2: think there's a difference between like the people out there
- 14:55Speaker 2: posting stuff for clicks and views versus like what you
- 14:59Speaker 2: might put out there, which is I think kind of
- 15:03Speaker 2: just telling your story and in the way that you
- 15:10Speaker 2: do and have throughout your entire like public life and
- 15:13Speaker 2: be vulnerable and then Hopefully that story, you're not telling
- 15:17Speaker 2: people to do this or do that. You're just telling
- 15:20Speaker 2: people your story and then that story that people have
- 15:25Speaker 2: gone through something similar or exactly that or a piece
- 15:30Speaker 2: of it or something that you went through relates to
- 15:31Speaker 2: something that they're going through. Even if it's entirely different, right?
- 15:34Speaker 2: Like a different challenge in their life that they're going
- 15:36Speaker 2: through and the way you handled this challenge. I think
- 15:38Speaker 2: just telling your story is very different than like giving
- 15:42Speaker 2: tips and tricks to get pregnant on, you know, your
- 15:44Speaker 2: Instagram channel. And I think when you do tell your story,
- 15:47Speaker 2: whenever you're ready for that, um, I think it's, it, it'll,
- 15:52Speaker 2: it will be helpful for people because it's, again, you're not,
- 15:57Speaker 2: you're not telling them what to do. You're just publicizing
- 16:02Speaker 2: something that a lot of people go through, but that
- 16:05Speaker 2: not a lot of people are talking about. Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And I think why people don't talk about it is
- 16:10Speaker 1: because like you do, there's so much shame. Like you
- 16:12Speaker 1: feel like as a woman, like you're broken and like
- 16:15Speaker 1: you don't work right. And so it's like really hard.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Especially when it's like so easy for other people.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Yeah. you don't hear all the hard stories. I think
- 16:30Speaker 2: that there's a lot more hard stories out there than
- 16:33Speaker 2: you could, than you'd imagine. Right. You hear the easy
- 16:36Speaker 2: stories or you see the successes cause that's more visible.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 2: A baby comes out, but, um, but you don't hear
- 16:44Speaker 2: all those stories. So I don't know, you know, I think,
- 16:48Speaker 2: I think when you're ready, I think, I think that
- 16:51Speaker 2: you'll figure out the way to tell your story the
- 16:53Speaker 2: right way. um, in a way that means something to you.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And because it means something to you, I think it'll
- 16:59Speaker 2: help a lot of people, but you should not be
- 17:03Speaker 2: in a rush to do that. I think your mental
- 17:06Speaker 2: health and your, all of that is kind of the,
- 17:09Speaker 2: should be the priority. I think.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 1: It's weird though, too, because like I have moments like this, obviously,
- 17:17Speaker 1: but then like I do, I'm so grateful for my life.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And it's not like I'm sitting at home crying all day,
- 17:23Speaker 1: every day. Like I'm not like perpetually sad. Like I
- 17:26Speaker 1: do love my life and there's so much light and
- 17:29Speaker 1: love in my life. Um, it's just like this weird,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I've never had like such a duality.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's so bad. And it's not just that you can't
- 17:37Speaker 2: get it. It's that you kind of maybe had it.
- 17:40Speaker 2: And then like, it was like ups and downs and like,
- 17:43Speaker 2: you know, emergency surgery is crazy. And, All the hormones
- 17:48Speaker 2: that are being pumped into you is crazy.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And it's like, you have to wait. There's like every
- 17:54Speaker 1: month you would just, it's like, it's just so crazy.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Good news turns into bad news like that. And you're like,
- 17:59Speaker 2: what the hell? I thought this was good news and
- 18:01Speaker 2: all of a sudden it's bad news.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah. It's just so crazy.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 1: It's like all consuming.
- 18:06Speaker 2: But I, you know, my advice, me trying to problem solve.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I don't think, I think that you need, I do
- 18:15Speaker 2: think perspective, this is for anything in life. I think
- 18:18Speaker 2: perspective is so important. You're the Michael Jordan of AMH
- 18:20Speaker 2: or whatever the hormone thing is. You have like the
- 18:22Speaker 2: highest AMH of anyone in your age range. You, you know,
- 18:27Speaker 2: thankfully I'm healthy. You know what I'm saying? Like we're,
- 18:30Speaker 2: we're good. We are good. You know what I mean?
- 18:34Speaker 2: We've been through a lot, but we're good.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Michael Jordan of AMH is iconic really. Um, I'm going
- 18:42Speaker 1: to pull myself together and we will come back with
- 18:46Speaker 1: a couple Dear Banya questions.
- 18:49Speaker 3: We're back.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm good. We're good. Everything's great over here. This is
- 19:12Speaker 1: from Anonymous. This is very layered, so I don't even
- 19:15Speaker 1: know if you're equipped to answer this.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Oh, I'm equipped.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:20Speaker 1: My husband and I have a very vanilla sex life
- 19:22Speaker 1: and we're intimate maybe once every one to three months.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I've brought this up in couples counseling and countless times privately,
- 19:29Speaker 1: and he eventually admitted that he struggled with a porn
- 19:31Speaker 1: addiction since he was very young. He's also told me
- 19:34Speaker 1: that he doesn't even know how to be affectionate or romantic.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Where to go from here. Some days I feel like
- 19:41Speaker 1: giving up because I feel so rejected, disconnected, and unloved.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Other days I desperately want to support him and help
- 19:47Speaker 1: him learn what intimacy, affection, romance can actually look like
- 19:50Speaker 1: in a relationship, but honestly, I'm exhausted. How do you
- 19:53Speaker 1: know when to keep fighting for the relationship and where
- 19:57Speaker 1: you've reached the point where you're asking someone to become
- 19:59Speaker 1: a person that they may not be ready to become?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot in there, but hold on. So
- 20:07Speaker 2: the porn addiction... is like a thing unto itself. Like,
- 20:11Speaker 2: like deal with that, whatever the steps are to like,
- 20:15Speaker 2: stop being addicted to porn. I think he has to do.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I think that's like any other addiction. I think you
- 20:22Speaker 1: is alcohol. No, that's AA is just alcoholics anonymous. You
- 20:26Speaker 1: can't go to porn. You can't go to out.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I don't know what's out there for porn addiction. Maybe
- 20:29Speaker 2: there is porn.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm sure there's an AA for porn addiction.
- 20:32Speaker 2: There might be.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah. But my point is like, Yeah. That is definitely
- 20:36Speaker 2: like a, probably a very serious physical and mental factor
- 20:40Speaker 2: leading to their inability to have sex or his lack
- 20:42Speaker 2: of desire to have sex with her. So they got
- 20:44Speaker 2: to deal with that. Okay. So however you deal with that,
- 20:46Speaker 2: you deal with that. But then, and maybe this is
- 20:50Speaker 2: a bad idea, but I was thinking, and maybe this
- 20:53Speaker 2: is part of getting over it is that like, maybe
- 20:57Speaker 2: they watch porn together and that like excites, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 2: gets their, gets their relationship going. Or if that doesn't work,
- 21:05Speaker 2: cause it's like, you know, if you're like an alcoholic,
- 21:06Speaker 2: you don't want to like drink together. Right. So like
- 21:08Speaker 2: maybe you don't do that.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I feel like that's horrible advice.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I'm not a doctor. Forget the porn stuff, but I'm
- 21:13Speaker 2: saying the porn addiction has got to be dealt with.
- 21:16Speaker 2: But again, maybe, maybe they could figure out how to
- 21:19Speaker 2: like incorporate that into their sex life. Cause I think
- 21:21Speaker 2: what they also, she also has to do is figure
- 21:24Speaker 2: out a way to excite him in bed physically. And
- 21:28Speaker 2: I think that that's going to require more than just like,
- 21:32Speaker 2: you know, your ordinary run of the mill stuff. I
- 21:35Speaker 2: think they have to like create some spice in their
- 21:38Speaker 2: sexual life. Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 1: What she's saying is like, how do I, she's trying
- 21:42Speaker 1: to help him. But at what point am I asking
- 21:44Speaker 1: someone to become a person that they may not be
- 21:46Speaker 1: ready to become? Like, what if he's refusing to go
- 21:48Speaker 1: to like deal with his porn addiction?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Well, that's different.
- 21:51Speaker 1: So that's just like happy with his porn addiction. And
- 21:53Speaker 1: he's happy to have sex once every one to three months.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And that's what he wants.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I think he doesn't even want to have sex every
- 22:00Speaker 2: one to three months. I think he's probably just doing
- 22:01Speaker 2: it because he feels like, he should, or like he
- 22:04Speaker 2: thinks like he's, if he never had sex with her,
- 22:06Speaker 2: that would be really bad. You know, if you have
- 22:09Speaker 2: sex once every three months, you probably don't need to,
- 22:13Speaker 2: I don't know. But yeah, if he doesn't, you know
- 22:16Speaker 2: what I'm saying? Like, I think he's just doing it
- 22:17Speaker 2: to do it. But if he's not willing to get,
- 22:20Speaker 2: if he's not willing to like, deal with his porn addiction, yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 2: then there's... Then it's like you're married to an alcoholic,
- 22:27Speaker 2: let's say. What do you do if the alcoholic doesn't
- 22:29Speaker 2: want to stop drinking? You could stay with them and then,
- 22:31Speaker 2: you know, like, there's many people who do. There's nothing
- 22:33Speaker 2: wrong with that either, I suppose. You just have to
- 22:36Speaker 2: make that decision for yourself and your family. Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 1: This one's tough for me. I don't... Because I'm like,
- 22:48Speaker 1: she's married. It's her husband. It's not her. If this
- 22:50Speaker 1: was her boyfriend, I'd say.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Bounce.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:53Speaker 1: B-O-U-N-C-E-E-E.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Bounce.
- 22:58Speaker 1: But it's her husband. And so I'm like, I want
- 23:00Speaker 1: her to like tough it out, but maybe give it
- 23:01Speaker 1: like some sort of deadline. Be like, maybe try everything
- 23:04Speaker 1: that you can to help him over the next year.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Give it 12 months. And if it's not going in
- 23:12Speaker 1: a positive direction, you don't see it going in a
- 23:14Speaker 1: positive direction. He's not getting any help. Then I think
- 23:17Speaker 1: you do have to leave him.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Yeah. If he's willing to work on this. Everything in
- 23:23Speaker 2: a relationship is work, whether it's lack of intimacy or
- 23:28Speaker 2: whatever it is. There's any numerous number of issues in
- 23:30Speaker 2: a relationship. It's all work. So you got to work
- 23:32Speaker 2: at it. If he's not willing to work at it,
- 23:37Speaker 2: then you have to make a decision eventually, I suppose.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Okay, this next one is from anonymous. What did you
- 23:45Speaker 1: and Robbie do to meet single people when you were
- 23:47Speaker 1: dating and trying to find your person? And how did
- 23:49Speaker 1: you not lose hope? I listen to literally every episode,
- 23:52Speaker 1: so I know you've talked about this before, but as
- 23:54Speaker 1: a 28-year-old single girl who just wants to find her
- 23:57Speaker 1: husband and not hook up slash casually date anymore, it's
- 24:00Speaker 1: hard to stay positive in the dating scene. For context,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I live in the Seattle area and have been on
- 24:05Speaker 1: Hinge for two and a half years. after leaving a
- 24:07Speaker 1: six-year relationship because I knew he wasn't my person.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I feel like this is mostly a you question.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Well, no.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Like the staying hopeful thing.
- 24:16Speaker 1: So what I found very interesting was the staying hopeful
- 24:19Speaker 1: because I feel like, and I wish that like women
- 24:22Speaker 1: could date like men in a sense because.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I love dating. I had the most, I like dating
- 24:27Speaker 2: for me was so fun. I mean, listen, it was
- 24:28Speaker 2: annoying at times.
- 24:30Speaker 1: But it was like you go on a date and
- 24:32Speaker 1: you're like, OK, if we don't click like your loss,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I'm still good. I'm the bro. I am like I'm
- 24:38Speaker 1: the shit. you know, whereas like girls when they're dating,
- 24:42Speaker 1: it's just so different, you know, like we, we go
- 24:45Speaker 1: into every date thinking, oh my gosh, like this could
- 24:47Speaker 1: be the, my first date with my husband. And then
- 24:49Speaker 1: you get, or at least when I was dating, um,
- 24:52Speaker 1: and you get so let down time and time and
- 24:54Speaker 1: time again that it gets like exhausting. And then you
- 24:58Speaker 1: start to think something's wrong with you, which is like
- 25:00Speaker 1: so bad, but you start to pick yourself apart. And
- 25:02Speaker 1: then after you do all that, then you're like, it's
- 25:05Speaker 1: just so different for men and for women. Like, I
- 25:07Speaker 1: feel like guys go out on dates and they're just like, yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: if we click, it's cool. If not, like you're bad.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I don't think that's true. I think that if a
- 25:17Speaker 2: guy is really looking for an emotional connection is like
- 25:21Speaker 2: really looking for a relationship and he goes out on
- 25:24Speaker 2: a date with a girl that he actually does like,
- 25:27Speaker 2: and they don't want to date him anymore. That would suck.
- 25:30Speaker 2: That sucks. I don't think that's, that's a guy girl thing.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I also feel like when she said that she doesn't
- 25:37Speaker 1: want to have like hookups or the casual thing anymore,
- 25:41Speaker 1: I feel like I was always very upfront when I
- 25:44Speaker 1: was dating that I was not going to have sex
- 25:46Speaker 1: outside of a committed relationship.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, very upfront. You're very upfront about it.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I was because it was such a easy way to
- 25:55Speaker 1: tell for me to tell if a guy would, would
- 26:00Speaker 1: like when he heard that some guys just like checked out,
- 26:03Speaker 1: like I could just see them check out and you
- 26:05Speaker 1: can see it and you can feel it. Um, and
- 26:07Speaker 1: so it was just a very easy way for me.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I would say it on the first day, every first
- 26:11Speaker 1: date I went on, I was very vocal about that.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And I, by the time we went on our first date,
- 26:18Speaker 1: why are you laughing?
- 26:19Speaker 2: I'm dying because when we were broken up, you like,
- 26:24Speaker 2: I remember you texted this guy that I happened to know.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 2: And you told him, what did you say? You said, no,
- 26:31Speaker 2: we're talking.
- 26:32Speaker 1: We like exchanged phone numbers.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You're on the phone. We were on the phone.
- 26:36Speaker 1: No, we were on the phone. And I told him,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I said, I don't have sex outside of a committed relationship.
- 26:41Speaker 1: And he was like, quickly.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Me neither. Meanwhile, this guy is the biggest like player.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Like he was like, totally just saying what you wanted
- 26:51Speaker 2: to hear.
- 26:51Speaker 1: But when I told you that, when I told you
- 26:58Speaker 1: that on our first date, I said, I don't have sex.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I said, I've committed a relationship. And at that point,
- 27:02Speaker 1: when I was started dating you, it had been four
- 27:04Speaker 1: years since I had had sex.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And I remember you didn't even like.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Oh, the floodgates.
- 27:10Speaker 1: What? No, you didn't even flinch. Like you were like,
- 27:13Speaker 1: I don't remember exactly your response, but I remember your
- 27:16Speaker 1: response wasn't like checked out. Goodbye.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Like when I, when I went out with you, I
- 27:20Speaker 2: was not looking for like, just like a hookup. If
- 27:23Speaker 2: I was looking for just a hookup, I would have
- 27:24Speaker 2: been like, oh, okay, let's finish it. You know, dinner
- 27:28Speaker 2: can be, you know, let's finish dinner up quickly and
- 27:30Speaker 2: see you later. But if I, if I like, when
- 27:32Speaker 2: I went out with you, I wanted something like real.
- 27:36Speaker 2: And so like, if you're looking, So the first step,
- 27:38Speaker 2: the first answer to her question is, if you're dating,
- 27:41Speaker 2: I don't know, if you're dating via the dating apps,
- 27:44Speaker 2: your messaging has to be clear on the dating apps,
- 27:46Speaker 2: like not like, so clear that it's like annoying. Right.
- 27:50Speaker 2: You don't want to be like a, like.
- 27:51Speaker 1: A, like I'm looking for my husband.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Like be subtle and cool and chill about it,
- 27:56Speaker 2: but be clear. And whether it's the messaging on the
- 27:58Speaker 2: day and it's not just what you write, it's like
- 28:00Speaker 2: the pictures you put up, like don't put up like
- 28:02Speaker 2: the super slutty pictures or like the, whatever, you know,
- 28:05Speaker 2: like your bikini shots or like whatever, like you, your
- 28:09Speaker 2: messaging should be like, I'm trying to settle down. Same
- 28:12Speaker 2: for a guy, by the way. Like when I was
- 28:15Speaker 2: dating more like frivolously, like, my dating apps were very
- 28:19Speaker 2: different in tone and vibe, the pictures, what I wrote
- 28:23Speaker 2: than they were when I was like, you know what,
- 28:24Speaker 2: I'm over that. I really want to like find like
- 28:26Speaker 2: a partner. So first of all, like make sure that
- 28:29Speaker 2: like your messaging is right and that you're like, you're
- 28:32Speaker 2: meeting up with people who have the same intent. And
- 28:35Speaker 2: then from there, then it is what it is. Then
- 28:38Speaker 2: it's like, if you like them and they don't like you,
- 28:40Speaker 2: you just have to pick yourself up and move on
- 28:42Speaker 2: and vice versa. If they like you, but you don't
- 28:45Speaker 2: like them, make sure you're giving them a fair chance.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Then you got to move on. You got to know
- 28:49Speaker 2: this is your famous saying, there's plenty of fish in
- 28:51Speaker 2: the sea or whatever it is.
- 28:51Speaker 1: There's a sock for every foot.
- 28:53Speaker 2: That's how the sausage gets made.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I also feel like sometimes when people
- 28:57Speaker 1: are on dating apps, they're so focused on the dating
- 29:00Speaker 1: app that they forget to like talk to people in
- 29:02Speaker 1: real life. And I feel like there's so much opportunity
- 29:05Speaker 1: in your real life to just like meet people at
- 29:07Speaker 1: your coffee shop, at your workouts, at the grocery store,
- 29:12Speaker 1: like while you're pumping gas, like there's just people out there.
- 29:16Speaker 1: And I feel like you get so focused in and
- 29:18Speaker 1: locked in on your dating.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Well, no, because then you also like cut out the
- 29:22Speaker 2: whole like catfish layer of it. Not that you're not
- 29:26Speaker 2: like the full on catfish, but like everyone looks 20% different.
- 29:30Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is when you're on a dating app,
- 29:32Speaker 1: you just focus solely like, oh, that's how I'm going
- 29:34Speaker 1: to find my dates is through the dating app. And
- 29:36Speaker 1: then they forget to like try and meet people in
- 29:39Speaker 1: real life. So I would say just like open your
- 29:41Speaker 1: eyes to just like the people that you come into
- 29:44Speaker 1: contact with on a day-to-day basis. And don't be afraid, girls.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Just like Tanya made the first move on me. You
- 29:50Speaker 2: can make the first move on a guy, whether on
- 29:52Speaker 2: the dating app or in real life. Do not be shy.
- 29:55Speaker 2: It does work out.
- 29:58Speaker 1: You made the first move.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I did not make the first move. We're not arguing
- 30:02Speaker 2: about this. You made the first move. We opened it
- 30:05Speaker 2: up for votes and it was heavily in my favor.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I hate when I open things up for votes and
- 30:13Speaker 1: I get totally pummeled in the results. It happens every
- 30:15Speaker 1: single time.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I hate it. And there's a crazy Tanya bias too.
- 30:20Speaker 2: So anytime I win, it's like....
- 30:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We are going to play the game. Who am I?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Mark has worked very hard to pick name, a name
- 30:34Speaker 1: or two names that Robbie knows because he doesn't know
- 30:37Speaker 1: many celebrities. God bless. So should we take a break
- 30:42Speaker 1: or just, Oh, we're going to take a quick break
- 30:44Speaker 1: and we'll be back with the, who am I game?
- 31:00Speaker 1: We are back. We are playing the Who Am I game.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Mark has written down the names and he's gonna, I'll
- 31:08Speaker 1: take the right hand because right always wins.
- 31:12Speaker 2: I think people really want us to play this game
- 31:14Speaker 2: because they want to see if you're actually that bad
- 31:17Speaker 2: or Becca is that good.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I think Becca's that good.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I think Becca's that good because she's gotten some right
- 31:23Speaker 2: that are just so impossible.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Insane, right? Okay. There's mine. Do you know who my
- 31:30Speaker 1: person is?
- 31:32Speaker 2: Uh, I know who your person is. Yeah. Is it sticking?
- 31:34Speaker 2: I could take my hat off.
- 31:36Speaker 1: That's fine. No, just stick it on the, Oh my gosh.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Wow.
- 31:39Speaker 1: The hair is crazy.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Is it?
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I didn't see. How's that? Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Hold on. Take it off. Take it off. Take it off.
- 31:48Speaker 1: You can take it off. Put it on the plastic part.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yeah. There we go. Yeah.
- 31:55Speaker 2: All right.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Covering my face.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Mark, babe, will you hand me that pen?
- 32:00Speaker 2: You got to stick yours on better.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It's fine. I like to take notes.
- 32:03Speaker 2: I want to take notes. Okay.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Here.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You can take notes on that.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm going to go first because ladies first.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Am I a woman?
- 32:16Speaker 2: No. Am I a woman? No.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Am I a singer?
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yes. Am I a human?
- 32:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 3: A human.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Am I a current pop star?
- 32:38Speaker 2: No. Okay. Am I older than 40?
- 32:49Speaker 3: Yes. Yes.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Am I older than 50?
- 33:00Speaker 2: I think so.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Older than 50, okay.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you're definitely older than 50.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Am I in movies? Yes.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Am I a hip hop artist?
- 33:18Speaker 2: Yes. Am I on TV?
- 33:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I'm a hip hop artist older than 50. Am I
- 33:31Speaker 1: from the LBC?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Am I really?
- 33:36Speaker 3: It sucks.
- 33:39Speaker 2: This is bullshit. You didn't cheat? I swear.
- 33:42Speaker 3: LBC?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Who says am I from the LBC? That's insane.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I swear I didn't cheat.
- 33:51Speaker 2: That's insane. I swear.
- 33:53Speaker 1: You might want to guess because I think I know
- 33:55Speaker 1: who I am.
- 33:56Speaker 3: I know. Okay, so hold on.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I'm a man.
- 33:58Speaker 1: And he's on top of mine because of this movie
- 34:03Speaker 1: that we saw on Monday night.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I'm a man. I'm older than 40. I'm in movies
- 34:09Speaker 2: and TV. Am I Glenn Powell?
- 34:12Speaker 1: You are not Glenn Powell.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Damn. I thought that.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Am I Snoop Dogg?
- 34:16Speaker 2: Oh my God. That's crazy. I'm going to give credit
- 34:23Speaker 2: to my answers. I think my answers were incredible.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Okay, hold on.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Should we keep going?
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah, let me keep going.
- 34:28Speaker 1: First of all, I've never won before, so I just
- 34:30Speaker 1: want to say congratulations. I'd like to thank Snoop Dogg.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I'd like to actually thank the documentary that I watched
- 34:35Speaker 1: on Monday because Snoop Dogg was on top of mine.
- 34:38Speaker 1: He's in the documentary. He's in the documentary.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he's in the documentary.
- 34:41Speaker 1: And he actually sent his ice cream truck to the screening.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel like this is rigged.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I swear.
- 34:47Speaker 2: No, I feel like it's rigged.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I swear it wasn't rigged.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Okay, wait.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Am I primarily an actor? Yes. Okay. Am I older
- 34:59Speaker 2: than 50?
- 34:59Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Am I older than 60? No. Am I a comedic actor?
- 35:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Was I on SNL?
- 35:11Speaker 1: No.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Am I mostly in movies? Yeah. How could you look
- 35:17Speaker 2: at it for every single answer?
- 35:19Speaker 1: Because this person's like a little bit of a mystery. Like,
- 35:21Speaker 1: I know he's very famous. I know his name, but like,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I don't really, I couldn't name one thing he's in, weirdly.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Hmm, weird.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Yeah, but like, I know him. Like, I know the name.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Mostly a movie's comedic actor.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Do you want a hint?
- 35:36Speaker 2: He's in the 50s. No, no, no. No, he's in
- 35:38Speaker 2: his 50s. The two names that came to my mind,
- 35:42Speaker 2: it's not them. Uh.
- 35:48Speaker 2: It's hard. Yeah, it's really, really hard. Is he black?
- 35:54Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Was he ever in music? Yes.
- 36:02Speaker 1: That's what I know him from. It's not that.
- 36:09Speaker 2: It's not that? No. Really? No. Am I the worst
- 36:15Speaker 2: at this game?
- 36:17Speaker 1: He might be worse than I, which is hard to do.
- 36:20Speaker 2: He's primarily an actor.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 36:23Speaker 2: But he's been in music. Yes. In his 50s. Also
- 36:32Speaker 2: on TV. This is crazy. Should we give him a hint?
- 36:39Speaker 2: Has he been in more than five movies?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Yes. Oh, wow.
- 36:44Speaker 1: But I couldn't name one.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Could you name one, Mark?
- 36:49Speaker 2: Oh, my God. He wrote down an actor who doesn't
- 36:52Speaker 2: even know the name of one movie?
- 36:53Speaker 1: He's very famous. Like, I'm telling you, he's very famous.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Everybody knows his name. But, like, I could tell you
- 37:00Speaker 1: one name of one song of his, but I can't
- 37:02Speaker 1: tell you what show he's on or a movie he's
- 37:04Speaker 1: been in.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Okay, hold on. Hold on.
- 37:06Speaker 1: You know the show?
- 37:09Speaker 2: Oh, he won an Oscar. Holy shit. It doesn't help
- 37:15Speaker 2: me at all.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I know. I'm like, how many Oscars have you watched?
- 37:22Speaker 2: Hold on. Okay. Did he win an Oscar in the
- 37:24Speaker 2: last five years? No.
- 37:27Speaker 1: No.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Oh, I got it.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Who is it?
- 37:31Speaker 2: Is it Will Smith? No. Oh, my God. It's not
- 37:36Speaker 2: Will Smith. No. When did Will Smith win his Oscar?
- 37:40Speaker 1: I think he lost the Oscar.
- 37:42Speaker 2: No, he won it the year of the slap. Probably
- 37:48Speaker 2: within five years. Probably five years. 2022. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Five years ago.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Well, you're wrong.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I was wrong. Cross that off. Does everybody know this?
- 38:00Speaker 2: Do you think everybody out there knows this right now?
- 38:05Speaker 1: It's hard, right?
- 38:06Speaker 2: It's impossible.
- 38:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 38:08Speaker 1: This is how I usually feel.
- 38:09Speaker 2: I hate this game. I know. Can't name one movie
- 38:16Speaker 2: this guy's in. It is insane. Hold on.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Hold on. Hold on.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I really can't.
- 38:22Speaker 2: It's not Ice Cube is what you're trying to tell me.
- 38:24Speaker 1: It's not Ice Cube. And I know him from a
- 38:28Speaker 1: very public relationship he had like maybe nine years ago.
- 38:31Speaker 2: I think I have to give up. Can I quit?
- 38:38Speaker 1: His last name's an animal in case you can't hear Mark.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus. I hate when the clues don't help. Oh,
- 38:48Speaker 2: my God. Okay, hold on. Is his first name an animal?
- 38:52Speaker 1: No, last name is an animal.
- 38:56Speaker 2: His last name is an animal? I think we have to,
- 39:00Speaker 2: can we cut this? I'm way worse than you at this.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I think he's worse than me.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Yeah, Mark?
- 39:10Speaker 2: Hold on. Really? No, I think I'm worse. Okay, hold on,
- 39:12Speaker 2: hold on, hold on.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Do you want me to tell you who he was
- 39:15Speaker 1: in a relationship with?
- 39:15Speaker 2: His last name was... No, because if you tell me that,
- 39:17Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm going to feel really bad. Hold on.
- 39:21Speaker 2: His last name was an animal. Not even a clue.
- 39:29Speaker 1: A sly animal.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Oh, this is good. Jamie Foxx. And I can name
- 39:34Speaker 2: a million. And I can name a bunch of movies
- 39:36Speaker 2: he was in.
- 39:36Speaker 3: What movies?
- 39:37Speaker 2: Any Given Sunday. No. But I would say, yeah, I
- 39:41Speaker 2: guess he's mostly a movie actor.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Name more movies. You gotta name all the movies. Name more.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Uh.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Any given Sunday he was in.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:51Speaker 2: You know what? I'm not adding no more questions. This
- 39:55Speaker 2: is very humbling.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Well, luckily for you, that is the end of the podcast.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Oh my God. That was stressful.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I know.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I hate that game.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I know.
- 40:06Speaker 1: That's how I feel.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Every single week. No, the last time we played this,
- 40:09Speaker 2: you gave me Kevin Hart and I said, is he
- 40:11Speaker 2: an actor? And you said no.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Because he's a comedian.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Which is crazy. Because he's a comedian. He's the most
- 40:17Speaker 2: prolific actor in Hollywood right now. He makes a movie
- 40:20Speaker 2: a week.
- 40:20Speaker 1: No, he's a comedian at first. Like I would describe
- 40:23Speaker 1: him as comedian. He's an actor that is, he's a
- 40:26Speaker 1: comedian that does acting.
- 40:27Speaker 2: By the way, who was Jamie Foxx in a relationship with?
- 40:30Speaker 2: I would not.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Katie Holmes.
- 40:31Speaker 2: If you told me that, I would not have known.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 40:33Speaker 2: And I would have felt really bad.
- 40:34Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:36Speaker 1: That is all for today's episode. I would like to
- 40:39Speaker 1: thank you for taking the time. I love you so much.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I love you more than I think you will ever know.
- 40:46Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. I love you too. And I
- 40:49Speaker 2: love you more than you will ever know.
- 40:53Speaker 1: And thank you so much. I do believe Becca will
- 40:56Speaker 1: be back next week. I think I'll check in with
- 41:01Speaker 1: her today. I miss her and we will see you
- 41:04Speaker 1: on Monday. Love you.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Love you.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Bye.
