- 0:08Speaker 1: Sable Advice Shoar Low Low Welcome to the naught Even
- 0:16Speaker 1: Night Show. I'm your host, Rob Shoes. It's Wednesday, which
- 0:19Speaker 1: means only one thing round here. Our friend Donny met
- 0:21Speaker 1: Chum from Okay magazine dot com is joining us. Johnny,
- 0:25Speaker 1: are you there? Hello? Loves Wednesday. I'm always so excited
- 0:29Speaker 1: to be here. It's a busy week. We have Fourth
- 0:31Speaker 1: of July coming up. It's going to be a big weekend.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Lots of fun stuff, lots of fun stuff. It's infectious.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Are excited you are every Wednesday? We love it around here. Hey,
- 0:42Speaker 1: let's jump in to the gossip. There's a lot to
- 0:44Speaker 1: get to. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 0:47Speaker 1: t T. Colton Underwood might be listening to this podcast
- 0:51Speaker 1: because after yesterday's show, he is distancing himself from the Bachelor.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So Colton is distancing himself from the show. After being
- 1:00Speaker 1: mentioned in reports, including on this show, that several members
- 1:04Speaker 1: of the franchise several alums received p P P loans
- 1:09Speaker 1: during COVID nineteen pandemic, he said, quote, stop lumping me
- 1:14Speaker 1: in with the Bachelor in a since deleted Instagram a
- 1:18Speaker 1: post or We've got a screenshot of it. Colton to
- 1:21Speaker 1: these people not realize, wouldn't you post something to It's forever,
- 1:26Speaker 1: It's ever ever. Not everybody be careful what you post,
- 1:30Speaker 1: because I promise you somebody will take a screen grab.
- 1:33Speaker 1: He added, I don't f he said the real word,
- 1:37Speaker 1: but we don't say it on this show. I don't
- 1:39Speaker 1: f with them anymore, and they don't f with me.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So in the post, Colton, who has come out as gay,
- 1:45Speaker 1: in April, explaining that he did receive money from the
- 1:48Speaker 1: federal government to use towards his Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation.
- 1:54Speaker 1: He said, this is click bait, and his nonprofit did
- 1:58Speaker 1: fire off P P e P because their charity events
- 2:02Speaker 1: were canceled, but he didn't make a dime from the nonprofit.
- 2:09Speaker 1: This whole thing seems a little shady to me. What
- 2:12Speaker 1: do you think, Donnie? It is very tricky, especially when
- 2:14Speaker 1: it's dealing with these P P P loans, because when
- 2:17Speaker 1: they first happened, they were just everybody was going out, everybody.
- 2:21Speaker 1: The second round, they were like, all right, just for restaurants,
- 2:25Speaker 1: just for bars, We're going to really narrow it down.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It was a little trickier. It is. He is a
- 2:30Speaker 1: business though. Colton Underwood is a business. Yes, you're right,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you're right, you're right, but there is going to be accountability.
- 2:36Speaker 1: So if you try to be a little shady, if
- 2:39Speaker 1: you try to get a little extra money, it was
- 2:41Speaker 1: not illegal, but if you you know, you know, if
- 2:43Speaker 1: he was shady yourself, like you know, if you were
- 2:45Speaker 1: saving your employees and saving your business or just taking advantage.
- 2:49Speaker 1: We don't know yet, but it's it looks a little
- 2:51Speaker 1: bit shady, and he is protesting, isn't it. It's protesting
- 2:55Speaker 1: quite loud, almost too much. Also to we reported yesterday
- 2:59Speaker 1: that Tasha Adams she received twenty thousand dollars in the
- 3:03Speaker 1: bailout for her one person l C. I guess that
- 3:08Speaker 1: one person's hurt. That's a little trickier. How do you
- 3:11Speaker 1: explain that? Well, she said that she did hire somebody,
- 3:14Speaker 1: so now it's a two person l elsie, I guess,
- 3:16Speaker 1: or a two person company. It's all so shady. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't get into this, I really don't. It's not worth
- 3:23Speaker 1: the hassle if it was a million dollars, No, it
- 3:25Speaker 1: wouldn't be worth it then because if it was a
- 3:27Speaker 1: million dollars, everybody would be checking where that money went.
- 3:31Speaker 1: The more money. Yeah, I know, there've been more eyes
- 3:33Speaker 1: on it. If you can't get away, we've been shady
- 3:35Speaker 1: with eleven thousands, you're not going to get away with
- 3:37Speaker 1: a million. Did you see Dale Moss two? He applied,
- 3:40Speaker 1: he wanted twenty donny, I don't know what they do.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't get it now. It's
- 3:47Speaker 1: not illegal, not illegal, but that does not make it right.
- 3:52Speaker 1: It was revealed by The New York Times just a
- 3:54Speaker 1: few hours ago that Hamilton's maybe the most successful musical
- 3:58Speaker 1: of the last twenty years. They got ten million dollars.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I know pe pe pe pe pe pe peep. I
- 4:03Speaker 1: don't know how many peas, but that's a lot of
- 4:05Speaker 1: dollar signs. I tell you that it's a lot of zeros.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I might not know that the man peas, but I
- 4:10Speaker 1: know the a man of zeros. It's this is where
- 4:13Speaker 1: it goes into. Where were they still paying for their theater?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Where the theater were shut down? Then you're kind of
- 4:18Speaker 1: onto something. But if they were just sitting there, yes,
- 4:21Speaker 1: they're not making money. But they also made millions of
- 4:24Speaker 1: pointifty million dollars they made for the show. There's almost
- 4:27Speaker 1: a billion dollars, so they can afford to take a
- 4:30Speaker 1: year off. It makes me crazy he doesn't because the
- 4:32Speaker 1: people that really need the money are not getting here
- 4:35Speaker 1: and he's a bachelor and bachelor read oh it drives
- 4:38Speaker 1: me crazy, which brings us to a whole question of
- 4:40Speaker 1: the day. Colton is trying to distance himself from the Bachelor.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't know if that's going to help him. He
- 4:46Speaker 1: took the money, whether or not he's a bachelor. I
- 4:48Speaker 1: don't think you can just dump all this on the
- 4:50Speaker 1: Bachelor or the Bachelor it you were the Bachelor. It's
- 4:54Speaker 1: like Bethany Frankel trying to not be a housewife. You're
- 4:57Speaker 1: a housewife. Housewife trying not to your singer Madonna, You're
- 5:01Speaker 1: not an actress. You a few movies, but you were saying, well,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I don't know if that you know. It's just do
- 5:05Speaker 1: you ever try and run away from what you're good at? Donnie? Like,
- 5:09Speaker 1: have you ever tried to not be the radio podcast
- 5:13Speaker 1: personality that you are. I'm a big, big believer and
- 5:16Speaker 1: don't bite the hand that feeds you. It drives me
- 5:18Speaker 1: crazy when these people come out for something and then
- 5:20Speaker 1: all of a sudden they're like, I'm not a Batchelor.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I don't ever want to deal with a batch of
- 5:23Speaker 1: their franchise. It made you who you were. I'm not
- 5:26Speaker 1: in end Sync, I was not in ensing. Yes, you
- 5:28Speaker 1: were justin you were. I've seen you. I bought records.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You're on the cover of my my album. Just it
- 5:34Speaker 1: drives me insane. Okay, let's get the show back on track.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It brings us to our book question of today, Colton's
- 5:39Speaker 1: trying to distance himself from the Bachelor. Is this a
- 5:41Speaker 1: good idea or a bad idea? Hey? Going bote on
- 5:44Speaker 1: our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or a Facebook
- 5:47Speaker 1: page Naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment there and
- 5:49Speaker 1: be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Donny Love, what are you working on? Well? Speaking of
- 5:55Speaker 1: someone who doesn't need any more money, but she's just
- 5:57Speaker 1: inked a new deal. That's Kim Kardashi. Team USA is
- 6:01Speaker 1: going to be wearing Skims. Yes, you heard that correctly,
- 6:06Speaker 1: Kim Kardashi. She just scored a major collaboration with Tim Usa.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Skims is joining iconic brand such as Ralph Lauren and
- 6:15Speaker 1: Levi I's and Kim and Kim, and she's going to
- 6:19Speaker 1: be providing loungewear and undergarments and panties that don't pajamas
- 6:24Speaker 1: for the lady. I would assume just the ladies could
- 6:27Speaker 1: be the man. You never know. It's a new world, Donny.
- 6:30Speaker 1: But the Tokyo Olympics are next month, and Kim once
- 6:33Speaker 1: again has figured this out. It is amazing. You know,
- 6:37Speaker 1: we do make fun of Kim, but she didn't make
- 6:40Speaker 1: a billion dollars by friends that do use these products,
- 6:43Speaker 1: these Skim collection, they say the fantastic. They say they
- 6:47Speaker 1: are the best undergarments you will ever buy. So maybe
- 6:52Speaker 1: maybe this is a good good thing. Kim said that
- 6:55Speaker 1: since she was ten years old, she heard every single
- 6:58Speaker 1: detail about the Olympic from her stepdad. Does it still
- 7:01Speaker 1: sound strange when she calls Caitlin her stepdad. Yes, I
- 7:06Speaker 1: read that, and it's multiple times, and I went, is
- 7:09Speaker 1: it just Kim speaking out of turn or is this
- 7:11Speaker 1: something they've talked about. I don't know they've talked about it.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I checked. Because we're very careful on this show to
- 7:16Speaker 1: get our pronouns right. We should all be careful. Kim
- 7:19Speaker 1: always refers to Caitlin as her stepdad. But Kim said
- 7:24Speaker 1: they had that conversation and Caitlin's cool with it. And
- 7:28Speaker 1: Caitlin herself said that she will always be Kim's stepdad,
- 7:32Speaker 1: so we're okay there. Kim also went on to say
- 7:35Speaker 1: to that watching the Olympics, understanding the dedication and everything
- 7:40Speaker 1: that he embodied, this feels really great. This is really
- 7:44Speaker 1: really big, big time. Ralph Lauren is an iconic American brand.
- 7:48Speaker 1: So's Levies, and now so is Kim. It's going to
- 7:52Speaker 1: drive some people crazy, but it's a fact. Also to
- 7:55Speaker 1: there's no photographs of Kim visiting the Vatican wearing an
- 7:59Speaker 1: off the show older sheer lace dress, talking about some
- 8:04Speaker 1: holy water. I'm sure they were throwing it everywhere literally
- 8:07Speaker 1: as she walked by just task Task taster. Oh, she
- 8:10Speaker 1: had a peekaboo gown on, showing off her hour glass figure.
- 8:16Speaker 1: One person didn't make a joke that at least some
- 8:18Speaker 1: of the cutouts formed a cross. God bless him, God
- 8:22Speaker 1: bless him. I pray to that. I pray to that.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Moving along Britney, species dad has popped up and he
- 8:27Speaker 1: looks unrecognizable. New pictures of Brittaney's dad pumping gas and
- 8:32Speaker 1: purchasing a couple of soft drinks. He's wearing a gray
- 8:35Speaker 1: T shirt, sunglasses, a gray hat, short socks, and a sandal.
- 8:39Speaker 1: He looks really thin though he looks like he's lost
- 8:42Speaker 1: a lot of weight. Jamie is living in Kentwood in Louisiana,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and he's living in an r V. This makes the
- 8:50Speaker 1: whole court appearance really interesting because a lot of people
- 8:54Speaker 1: are angry with Brittany's dad, me included, for really taking
- 8:58Speaker 1: advantage of Brittany. Now we find out he's living in
- 9:02Speaker 1: an ah V on the outskirts of town, near a
- 9:07Speaker 1: storage facility where he has his trinkets of Brittney's Korea.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's not the life that I think people assumed he
- 9:17Speaker 1: would be living. The whole thing is very, very strange.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But also people he's looking a little disheveled. Stuff, he's
- 9:22Speaker 1: stressed out, he has been raked through the coals. There
- 9:25Speaker 1: is I mean, the world thinks this man is not
- 9:29Speaker 1: a good man, and they are looking at him and going,
- 9:31Speaker 1: what are you doing to this woman? But also you're
- 9:33Speaker 1: hoarding her millions of dollars and what are you doing
- 9:36Speaker 1: with it? Well, he's not spending them, not on that
- 9:39Speaker 1: in Louisiana. Also to he's had some health issues, so
- 9:42Speaker 1: we hope everything is okay there. What is happening with
- 9:45Speaker 1: Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen, Well, Rosie o'donald, she's actually weighing
- 9:50Speaker 1: in on the owner generous toxic worthplace controversy. So remember,
- 9:54Speaker 1: many many years ago, Rosie o donald had her fabulous
- 9:57Speaker 1: loved him, I love loved this show, and she was
- 10:00Speaker 1: labeled the Queen of nice. Well, when she was on
- 10:03Speaker 1: the View, she was labeled the Queen of mean and
- 10:06Speaker 1: it kind of, honestly, that's how it shifted for her.
- 10:09Speaker 1: When she's talking about that, and especially talking about how
- 10:12Speaker 1: Ellen got labeled as also a very mean person with
- 10:15Speaker 1: this toxic birthplace, and she's like being seen as someone
- 10:18Speaker 1: who's kind to everyone has come back to bite her
- 10:21Speaker 1: in the But you know, and Rosie goes on talking
- 10:23Speaker 1: about herself, not in the way that Ellen's talking about
- 10:26Speaker 1: I think. But you know, I said the day it
- 10:28Speaker 1: came out, look at this the queen of nice. She
- 10:31Speaker 1: knew what he was going to backfire against it, and
- 10:32Speaker 1: then a couple of years is going to be the
- 10:34Speaker 1: Queen of lice, you know, the queen of We don't
- 10:36Speaker 1: like her anymore, And it did, right, Rosie really understands
- 10:41Speaker 1: the cycle of show business, the ups and the downs,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and she said that she's actually really happy now stepping
- 10:48Speaker 1: away from that. She couldn't imagine. She couldn't imagine doing
- 10:52Speaker 1: a show for nineteen years, like Ellen or Oprah. She
- 10:55Speaker 1: compared Ellen to a marathon runner that just had this
- 10:59Speaker 1: stammer there to keep doing it. Rosie said she didn't
- 11:03Speaker 1: have that herself. I spoke to Rosie yesterday, who really
- 11:06Speaker 1: loves this new story in New York Magazine that really
- 11:09Speaker 1: looks back at her show and how it changed the
- 11:12Speaker 1: landscape of TV. Before Ellen, before Andy Cohen, before Jimmy Fallon,
- 11:17Speaker 1: all the shows were kind of trashy. It was the
- 11:19Speaker 1: Jerry Springers and the Jerry Jenny Jones, remember those. And
- 11:22Speaker 1: even Oprah was doing conflict shows back then. And along
- 11:26Speaker 1: came Rosie and sat there as a fan. Remember her
- 11:29Speaker 1: fanning out over Tom Cruise, Barbara streisand Madonna. It was
- 11:34Speaker 1: really fun, I think, to disappear for an hour a day. Now,
- 11:38Speaker 1: obviously we've got Kelly Clarkson and other people doing that,
- 11:41Speaker 1: but we didn't have it back then. Rosie was the first.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Quickly before we go to break, Queen Elizabeth has given
- 11:47Speaker 1: Kate Middleton a new job. So the Duchess of Cambridge
- 11:52Speaker 1: will now be the sponsor of the new naval battleship.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Sounds strange, doesn't it. H M. S. Glasgow. So I
- 12:03Speaker 1: checked into this and her role will be supporting the
- 12:05Speaker 1: crew were through milestone events and deployments. I don't really
- 12:09Speaker 1: know what any of that means. Also do William mentioned
- 12:12Speaker 1: that his grandfather, Prince Philip, was in the navy, so
- 12:16Speaker 1: this is a lovely, lovely thing. William is with his
- 12:19Speaker 1: grandmother in Scotland at the moment, but they're all heading back,
- 12:21Speaker 1: or at least William is to London for Thursdays unveiling.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Would you like to be the sponsor of a battleship, Donnie?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Only if it was you? Remember when chair in the
- 12:33Speaker 1: New York Harbor there and she did that whole big
- 12:36Speaker 1: before her with all those kids sailors and share I
- 12:41Speaker 1: don't think we're going to see Kate in that outfit.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I just don't think that it's going to happen. We're
- 12:46Speaker 1: going to take a quick break here and we will
- 12:48Speaker 1: we're right back. Welcome back to the Norn nice show.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'm rob sure them with our friend Donnie meets him
- 12:57Speaker 1: from Okay magazine dot com. Hey, let's get to the pole.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Official Prince Harry refuses to cooperate with the Palace over
- 13:05Speaker 1: Princess Diana's statue unveiling. Is this a good idea or
- 13:09Speaker 1: a bad idea? Let's have a look. Sevent think this
- 13:12Speaker 1: is a bad idea. Don't forget to vote on today's poll.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Go right to the page and naughty nice ram on
- 13:18Speaker 1: Facebook page is naughty gossip and be sure to check
- 13:21Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's time
- 13:24Speaker 1: for the nicest of the day. Oh but the nicest
- 13:29Speaker 1: of the day is Ricky Martin and it's before his
- 13:32Speaker 1: message for his anti gay critics. So remember Ricky Marton
- 13:36Speaker 1: came out many years ago, almost eleven years ago now
- 13:38Speaker 1: publicly in two thousand and ten. Well, he was talking
- 13:42Speaker 1: about how he posted a photo on his own personal
- 13:45Speaker 1: Instagram of him and his husband, who's very handsome by
- 13:48Speaker 1: the way, too, and he said that people started to
- 13:51Speaker 1: un follow him because of that, or they commented in
- 13:54Speaker 1: a derogatory way. And he went on to explain it's
- 13:58Speaker 1: not the number of followers that worries me, the messages
- 14:01Speaker 1: behind their decision that has caused me the same feeling
- 14:04Speaker 1: I had year agos before sharing publicly who I was.
- 14:08Speaker 1: That's very sad that people just he's openly gay. You
- 14:11Speaker 1: should know that if you're following Ricky Martin, you're going
- 14:14Speaker 1: to see a picture of him and his husband. It's
- 14:16Speaker 1: very very concerning, isn't Because I think some of Ricky's
- 14:19Speaker 1: fans here are implying that we don't mind that you're
- 14:23Speaker 1: gay as long as you don't talk about it, and
- 14:26Speaker 1: a lot of people, maybe not a lot, but some
- 14:29Speaker 1: people feel like that, and that's really rude. You have
- 14:32Speaker 1: to accept somebody, anybody, for the entirety of who they are.
- 14:37Speaker 1: We can't cherry pick what we like about people what
- 14:41Speaker 1: we don't like about people. Ricky, you are the nicest
- 14:44Speaker 1: of the day and now and naughtiest of the day. Shame.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Harry Connick Jr. Will play Daddy Warbucks in NBC's live
- 14:54Speaker 1: version of Annie. The reason he's the naughtiest of the
- 14:58Speaker 1: day is that Daddy warbur has always had a shaved head.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Jamie Fox was bald, the original Daddy Warbucks was bald. Well,
- 15:06Speaker 1: Harry Conner Junior shave his head, but I thought, I
- 15:10Speaker 1: mean Harry Knick Jr. Is a singer. But I also
- 15:12Speaker 1: thought Daddy Warbucks was much older than new. Harry Kinnick Jr. Is. Yes,
- 15:17Speaker 1: maybe it's a whole new reinvention of it. Tara G.
- 15:21Speaker 1: P Henson is playing the rule of Miss Hannaghan. We
- 15:25Speaker 1: don't know. She'll be fabulous, fabulous. But they have to
- 15:28Speaker 1: be very careful here because if a white man comes
- 15:30Speaker 1: to save an author from a black lady, they are
- 15:33Speaker 1: treading on very very delicate ground, Donny, So everybody be
- 15:38Speaker 1: careful here. Harry, You're going to be the naughtiest of
- 15:41Speaker 1: the day if you're listening. He alone. Do you know
- 15:43Speaker 1: he invited me to his opening night on Broadway? Donnie.
- 15:46Speaker 1: He was fabulous. Only went. He did a one man show,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and I did go. When I'm invited, I do go.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Your monster. You and I went to a Broadway show
- 15:55Speaker 1: together and we saw Sarah Jessica Parker. Remember that was
- 15:57Speaker 1: so much the problem? Hello, said Sarah came over and
- 16:01Speaker 1: said a level level low. I wanted to ask about
- 16:05Speaker 1: Kim Cotrell, but it was not the time or the place.
- 16:08Speaker 1: It was the time or the place. Harry Connor Jr.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You've got to shave your head to be Daddy Warbucks.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Just my own opinion. Now it's time for a moment
- 16:18Speaker 1: off Rob You got than what is this sponsored? Behind
- 16:22Speaker 1: this segment? The foreword answer who were you not available?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Who are you? In? Forward? Michelle Obama said the following,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and I was thinking about it all day. Quote. When
- 16:35Speaker 1: you've worked hard and done well and walk through that
- 16:38Speaker 1: door of opportunity, do not slam it should behind you.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You reach back and you give other folks the same
- 16:46Speaker 1: chances that helped you succeed. This is a hard one
- 16:50Speaker 1: because when you walk through the door of success, it's
- 16:53Speaker 1: very easy to slam that door shut. I've done this.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It's never worked for me, it's never kept anybody down,
- 17:02Speaker 1: but I have done it. I don't anymore. How are
- 17:06Speaker 1: you about leaving open the door? Donnie? I want to
- 17:10Speaker 1: see others succeed beside you, because if your friends are
- 17:12Speaker 1: succeeding beside you, you're stuck with nasty people in the business.
- 17:16Speaker 1: So don't eat want your friends there do you cannot
- 17:18Speaker 1: kind of laugh and have funds enjoy it. I want
- 17:21Speaker 1: people to succeed, and there's enough room, I promise you
- 17:24Speaker 1: for all of us. That's it for today. Thank you
- 17:28Speaker 1: so much for listening to the Naught of an Eyes
- 17:30Speaker 1: with Rob and Donnie Show production of I Heart Radio.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio app,
- 17:37Speaker 1: Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a review if
- 17:39Speaker 1: you can, and remember altogether now, if you're going to
- 17:43Speaker 1: be naughty, you've got to be take care of everybody.
- 17:51Speaker 1: It's not even nice with
