- 0:45Speaker 1: over to a couple of points. We're going to have
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yatsu on from Anamoka Brands on today. I do want
- 0:49Speaker 1: to remind you guys that we looked at a video
- 0:52Speaker 1: and did with him quite some time ago. It was
- 0:55Speaker 1: referenced to GTA six and the concept was is that
- 0:58Speaker 1: AI agents will be coming into possibly gaming. We are
- 1:02Speaker 1: repositioning our thought on this. One of the things that
- 1:06Speaker 1: is starting to happen is we could see a cryptocurrency
- 1:09Speaker 1: in GTA six. There are speculations right now that it
- 1:12Speaker 1: could be our star. We don't think it's going to
- 1:15Speaker 1: be that. This seems more of a rumor but speculation.
- 1:18Speaker 1: But it does bring up the idea that maybe there's
- 1:22Speaker 1: an alternative here and I want to play a clip
- 1:25Speaker 1: for you and then we'll bring in yacht su and
- 1:27Speaker 1: get into it. So take a look.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Digital downloads didn't present that problem, and it was pretty
- 1:32Speaker 2: soon after where Take two said, look, in the event
- 1:36Speaker 2: we have a hit, we should be able to give
- 1:38Speaker 2: more of that hit to consumers and create a thread
- 1:41Speaker 2: in between these huge tempole releases. It was only, you know,
- 1:45Speaker 2: a quick movement from there to virtual currency and game
- 1:51Speaker 2: And the first time we tried that was with NBA
- 1:53Speaker 2: two K in twenty eleven and it was a test.
- 1:56Speaker 2: We had no idea how would do and it ended
- 1:58Speaker 2: up being very successful, and then of course virtual currency
- 2:02Speaker 2: was embedded for the first time in Grand Theft Dotto
- 2:05Speaker 2: Online for Grand Theft at All five and again that
- 2:08Speaker 2: turned out to be much much more successful than we
- 2:11Speaker 2: ever expected. But if you're old to clock forward ten years,
- 2:14Speaker 2: which is my job, that's your job, boll ten twenty
- 2:17Speaker 2: years down the road, not tomorrow, not for the quarter.
- 2:19Speaker 1: All right, So stras Selink there from Take two. First
- 2:23Speaker 1: of all, what do you make of that clip by
- 2:25Speaker 1: Strauss in terms of where he sees kind of the
- 2:28Speaker 1: digital landscape inside gaming?
- 2:30Speaker 3: Take two was actually one of the slower adopters when
- 2:32Speaker 3: it comes to the freemium business model, right. It was
- 2:35Speaker 3: innovated really in Asia with mass massively multiplayer online games,
- 2:39Speaker 3: and really only started becoming mainstream in the Western particularly
- 2:42Speaker 3: in the US, probably five or six years after, you know,
- 2:45Speaker 3: around twenty fifteen twenty sixteen is when it really started
- 2:47Speaker 3: to pick up. Was something that was very uncomfortable for
- 2:51Speaker 3: the sort of game studios, particularly in the West, and
- 2:54Speaker 3: now it's pretty much the predominant business model. But what
- 2:56Speaker 3: isn't clear to me, given some of the previous comments
- 2:59Speaker 3: that Strauss selling has made, is that Take two in
- 3:01Speaker 3: and of itself is going to issue a token. Although
- 3:04Speaker 3: that may change because of the fact that the US
- 3:07Speaker 3: is now much more open, and there might be clarity
- 3:09Speaker 3: around this from a regulatory standpoint, but I expect much
- 3:12Speaker 3: more activity to happen on the RP servers rather than
- 3:15Speaker 3: take two in and of itself.
- 3:16Speaker 4: So basically, people are running sort of.
- 3:18Speaker 3: The GTA six servers, and they will then issue their
- 3:21Speaker 3: own tokens around their particular game economies. That's kind of
- 3:24Speaker 3: what we're expecting.
- 3:25Speaker 1: If you look at what Strauss is talking about, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: you kind of consider, all right, that maybe the alternative
- 3:30Speaker 1: here would be a stable coin, because this could be
- 3:33Speaker 1: a scenario that could take over some of the digital
- 3:35Speaker 1: components here, would you predict maybe that they might try
- 3:38Speaker 1: to go that route actually launching a stable point and maybe, okay,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you think so, yeah, So I.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Think a stable coin is much more likely a couple
- 3:47Speaker 3: of reasons. One, you know, the Genius Act actually opens
- 3:49Speaker 3: it up already, and while you can't expect the gaming
- 3:52Speaker 3: companies to do that first, you know, Amazon and Walmart
- 3:56Speaker 3: and probably Facebook and probably Google as well, like we
- 3:59Speaker 3: don't know sure, but they're all probably thinking about it.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Oh there's a legislation. Now there's a rule where I
- 4:05Speaker 3: can actually do that. And one of the challenges all
- 4:07Speaker 3: is when you have changes with a new presidency, is
- 4:10Speaker 3: that is it actually something that is in law or
- 4:13Speaker 3: is it something that can be changed at any time
- 4:14Speaker 3: like an executive order. And the Genius Act basically just
- 4:18Speaker 3: passed through law, which means that it's much more certain
- 4:20Speaker 3: that you can build on something in the long long
- 4:23Speaker 3: term for it, right, So stable coins will probably be
- 4:25Speaker 3: the first thing that people, you know, is it possible
- 4:27Speaker 3: therefore that gaming companies around the world, particularly in US,
- 4:30Speaker 3: will start issuing their own stable coins? I think it's
- 4:32Speaker 3: entirely possible. So take to could sort of pull it off.
- 4:36Speaker 3: But the difference is that they use the cash for
- 4:39Speaker 3: operations rather than as a exchange medium, shall we say,
- 4:45Speaker 3: So there is there's a difference there, right, So if
- 4:47Speaker 3: you're a bank, you're actually sort of you basically have
- 4:50Speaker 3: a license to print money effectively, right, But if you
- 4:54Speaker 3: are a game studio, you don't really have that, And
- 4:57Speaker 3: so they do need the cash flow that they general
- 5:00Speaker 3: right from the currency of the of the sales of
- 5:03Speaker 3: the virtual currency to basically pay for stuff like salaries
- 5:06Speaker 3: and costs and all that kind of stuff inside of
- 5:07Speaker 3: the game and the pure interest that might generate might
- 5:10Speaker 3: not be enough relative to that because it's still a product.
- 5:14Speaker 3: So I see it's much more likely that they might
- 5:17Speaker 3: partner with a set of companies that are going to
- 5:20Speaker 3: issue these table coins and they might be sharing maybe
- 5:22Speaker 3: the yield from it or something like that.
- 5:24Speaker 4: So we should be expecting that they might either be
- 5:27Speaker 4: a consortium.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Also, don't forget, you know, we should expect every major
- 5:31Speaker 3: bank in the US, maybe even smaller banks to want
- 5:33Speaker 3: to issue their stable coins.
- 5:35Speaker 4: They're going to want to cut business deals.
- 5:36Speaker 3: On the distribution for them, right, So again, you know,
- 5:40Speaker 3: like and if you might remember in the early days,
- 5:42Speaker 3: you know, like PayPal and Venmo and all these platforms,
- 5:45Speaker 3: they actually shared commissions in some way, right for customer
- 5:48Speaker 3: acquisition and so on. So so this is interesting and
- 5:52Speaker 3: I see this more as a business model enhancement for
- 5:54Speaker 3: many of those games studies that aren't thinking that way
- 5:56Speaker 3: unless they're thinking Web three native like animal brands, right,
- 6:00Speaker 3: the local brands. You know, we're issuing our own stable coin,
- 6:03Speaker 3: and that's a different story because we're in the field
- 6:06Speaker 3: of that, and so we might be working with games
- 6:08Speaker 3: companies like this.
- 6:09Speaker 4: But if you take two for instance, you might want to.
- 6:12Speaker 3: You know, you're now basically valuable as a customer acquisition
- 6:15Speaker 3: tool for banking clients, so you could generate more revenue
- 6:19Speaker 3: by some people saying, hey, you know what I can
- 6:21Speaker 3: onboard you almost like a credit card, right, Like credit
- 6:24Speaker 3: card companies are amongst the highest paying because of sort
- 6:27Speaker 3: of UA companies out there right now. Because you know,
- 6:31Speaker 3: every customer in your game is now a target, it
- 6:34Speaker 3: could really expand the revenue and the reach for those games.
- 6:37Speaker 4: So I think that's more likely for most of them.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Okay, well, I want to play another clip for you
- 6:41Speaker 1: because I think it flows more into the validity of
- 6:44Speaker 1: what's what could happen here within the gaming ecosystem.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Take a look.
- 6:50Speaker 5: I think the GTA is going to crash crypto because
- 6:53Speaker 5: you think about a crypto is an attention economy, and
- 6:55Speaker 5: what we're going to see with GTA is an attention
- 6:57Speaker 5: vacuum that basically we've never seen before. We able to
- 7:00Speaker 5: cash out my crypto for Shark cards in GTA six,
- 7:03Speaker 5: and so it'll actually just be a better trade to
- 7:05Speaker 5: buy Shark cards at that point. And GTA six launches
- 7:08Speaker 5: this December, so I'm trying to be out of crypto
- 7:10Speaker 5: by December.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Shark cards. If you think about Shark cards, which is
- 7:13Speaker 1: obviously a huge ecosystem with n GTA, what if they
- 7:16Speaker 1: were to take shark cards and say, we're just going
- 7:19Speaker 1: to make those a stable coin.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm going to go out on the limon
- 7:22Speaker 3: say no, no, okay, all right, so so and just
- 7:27Speaker 3: don't get me wrong, Shark cards certainly, you know, have
- 7:31Speaker 3: tradeability value if they were validated like this by TAK two.
- 7:34Speaker 4: But Take two is not thinking this way.
- 7:36Speaker 3: So it's important to understand that Take two is a
- 7:38Speaker 3: product company, and just thinking of their product is I'm
- 7:42Speaker 3: offering a service and you're paying for the service. The
- 7:44Speaker 3: other comment around, I'm going to cash up and sell
- 7:46Speaker 3: on my crypto to buy short cards. Well, I mean
- 7:48Speaker 3: you can do that, but I think you are actually
- 7:51Speaker 3: somewhat in the minority of that. Good luck with that.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Having said that, just another correction. You know, like when
- 7:56Speaker 3: we last time were on the show, you know, this
- 7:59Speaker 3: was before Take to make the announcement, because you know,
- 8:02Speaker 3: everyone thought you were going to come out around September October,
- 8:05Speaker 3: and now it's going to come out in May at least,
- 8:08Speaker 3: that's what they've said. By that time, it's entirely possible
- 8:11Speaker 3: that you know, clarity or markets actor, so those ones
- 8:14Speaker 3: are going to actually be already out, and therefore there is.
- 8:19Speaker 4: No legal reason allowed, right okay.
- 8:22Speaker 3: And I think also a lot more people will be
- 8:23Speaker 3: familiar with it, because sure pitcoin's gon to be one
- 8:25Speaker 3: hundred and fifty to two hunred thousand dollars by the end
- 8:27Speaker 3: of the year, then there's gonna be a lot more
- 8:29Speaker 3: people entering this space.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Just no doubt. Yeah, no doubt. Well, and I think
- 8:32Speaker 1: you look at the potential here, we saw a movement quickly.
- 8:36Speaker 1: This is just you know, a small gaming company that announced, hey,
- 8:40Speaker 1: we're going to start to integrate stable coins. And when
- 8:43Speaker 1: they did that, here was the h here was the
- 8:45Speaker 1: response from from the market. Of course, the stock jumped
- 8:48Speaker 1: eight percent. Maybe this is just the beginning of something
- 8:51Speaker 1: early because even to your point is that, yeah, okay,
- 8:55Speaker 1: Take two is not going in this direction just yet.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But there's a lot of gaming companies. Granted they are
- 8:59Speaker 1: the you know, eight hundred pound gorilla, but the point
- 9:03Speaker 1: is is that they could change, they could shift into
- 9:05Speaker 1: this model, especially if they start seeing others showing some
- 9:09Speaker 1: success with that.
- 9:10Speaker 3: And I do think they will do it because it's
- 9:12Speaker 3: a superior business model. None of those big game companies
- 9:15Speaker 3: free to play and freemium they went.
- 9:18Speaker 4: There five years later.
- 9:19Speaker 1: You think that maybe large retail might actually bring stable
- 9:22Speaker 1: coins first, or do you think it would be gaming
- 9:24Speaker 1: that could bring stable coins to their ecosystems first.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Game companies have a potential, and other territories like Japan
- 9:31Speaker 3: and Korea for instance, haven't established stable cunt framework. Even
- 9:34Speaker 3: Singapore doesn't have a framework at this moment in time. Yeah,
- 9:37Speaker 3: so there's an interesting, funny sort of situation where the
- 9:41Speaker 3: US was one was behind, it is now actually lead
- 9:43Speaker 3: form most of the nation.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Well, you look at a couple of things. I want
- 9:46Speaker 1: to show two quick things here in reference to stable
- 9:49Speaker 1: coins obviously launching here on August first within Hong Kong,
- 9:53Speaker 1: so this is now moving even though that has been
- 9:56Speaker 1: behind now what we've seen with the United States then,
- 10:00Speaker 1: And you also look at the capacity of how the
- 10:03Speaker 1: use case is going to be picked up. So it's
- 10:05Speaker 1: already being mandated. There's going to be a little bit
- 10:07Speaker 1: of catch up, I guess to a certain extent around
- 10:10Speaker 1: where the world market is going. But you guys are
- 10:13Speaker 1: also potentially launching an ipo and my question. We were
- 10:17Speaker 1: talking about this earlier on another video. We did a
- 10:20Speaker 1: big mega IPO video. Why launch an ipo in Hong
- 10:25Speaker 1: Kong versus here in the United States. Animocha should be
- 10:28Speaker 1: here in the United States. I'm going to try to
- 10:31Speaker 1: help President Trump get you here for your IBO, So
- 10:35Speaker 1: why not?
- 10:35Speaker 3: So first of all, so the fact that we plan
- 10:38Speaker 3: to go public is not a secret. So but where
- 10:41Speaker 3: we decide to go public is out in the open.
- 10:44Speaker 3: So we haven't the saided to US or Hong Kong.
- 10:46Speaker 3: There's nothing that excludes the fact that we couldn't do both,
- 10:49Speaker 3: because you know, you can do primary and secondary right
- 10:51Speaker 3: And I think Animoka Brands is one of those interesting
- 10:53Speaker 3: companies that actually has a big footprint in terms of
- 10:56Speaker 3: its investments, portfolio and brand name in the usually has
- 11:00Speaker 3: a lot of customers in Asia, and I think there's
- 11:02Speaker 3: something interesting also to be said about Animal Brands as
- 11:05Speaker 3: a gateway for Asia for instance, potentially American investor. But
- 11:09Speaker 3: it does make a lot of sense to consider the
- 11:11Speaker 3: US markets.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Well, you can have a lot of customers in Asia
- 11:15Speaker 1: and still have all your investors here in the United States,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know.
- 11:18Speaker 3: So yeah, and because we have three thousands of shoholders
- 11:22Speaker 3: already post right, So we are just quasi sort of
- 11:25Speaker 3: a public private entity because of our previous days as
- 11:28Speaker 3: a listed company. So we actually know what it's like
- 11:31Speaker 3: to run a public company. Of course we're smaller back then.
- 11:33Speaker 1: You're going to have a million investors. You're going to
- 11:36Speaker 1: have a million investors if you bring it to the
- 11:38Speaker 1: United States, a million minimum a million.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Well, I look forward to that. I look forward to.
- 11:45Speaker 1: So I'm just trying to get you to commit. I'm
- 11:47Speaker 1: just trying to get you to commit.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yes, I Unfortunately, I'm not going to commit on anything.
- 11:54Speaker 4: No comment.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I understand, I understand. I'm watching a couple of things
- 11:58Speaker 1: that you guys are doing. You guys did your partnership
- 12:01Speaker 1: here with Carrot. There's doing some acquisition or I guess
- 12:05Speaker 1: in some point, I guess buyback. You were talking about
- 12:08Speaker 1: Cultural Treasury. There's like a handful of others out there
- 12:11Speaker 1: that would probably fall into this tower. Token was one.
- 12:15Speaker 1: What are you trying to do with this? And do
- 12:17Speaker 1: you think that these treasury companies in your particular case,
- 12:21Speaker 1: Cultural Treasury, are a fad or do you think this
- 12:24Speaker 1: is something that we're going to see a lot more
- 12:26Speaker 1: of No, I think you're going.
- 12:26Speaker 3: To see a lot more of it because it's a
- 12:28Speaker 3: nice little bridge between the let's call the TRATFI investor
- 12:31Speaker 3: and cryptoises. And at the end of the day, whether
- 12:34Speaker 3: it's an ETF or company that holds these assets. But
- 12:37Speaker 3: the thing about all coins, particularly whether it's gaming or
- 12:40Speaker 3: whether it's tokens like MCCA or pengu or ap coin
- 12:43Speaker 3: or whatever it is, they actually have ways which you
- 12:45Speaker 3: generate yield and you can trade them and you can
- 12:47Speaker 3: hedge them, make it your stuff. So there's actually an asset.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Crypto as an asset class trades between one hundred fifty
- 12:52Speaker 3: two billion dollars a day, right, so we're talking about
- 12:55Speaker 3: something that it is larger than York Tuck has changed
- 12:59Speaker 3: now doing this these buybacks, However, the tokens themselves haven't
- 13:04Speaker 3: appreciated as much in value because of the narrative. Yet
- 13:07Speaker 3: now you can buy these strong gaming projects at basically
- 13:12Speaker 3: a discount from their investment round, and there's so many
- 13:14Speaker 3: of them. So we're not going to stop at just
- 13:16Speaker 3: these three. Where we did across the ages, we did
- 13:18Speaker 3: my pet Hooligan, which is carried with the tower. We
- 13:20Speaker 3: want to build more of them, and then you know,
- 13:23Speaker 3: there's nothing that necessarily stops us from saying and you
- 13:26Speaker 3: know what, we are the largest gaming investor in Web three,
- 13:29Speaker 3: and we could possibly do a treasury company with all
- 13:32Speaker 3: those gaming tokens eventually in the future together as well. Right,
- 13:35Speaker 3: gaming is about a twenty to twenty two billion dollar
- 13:38Speaker 3: combined market cap in crypto, So you could say it's
- 13:40Speaker 3: small compared to others, but it's you know, it's come
- 13:43Speaker 3: from zero over time. But more importantly, you know, we're
- 13:47Speaker 3: going to get you know, the one hundred billion users
- 13:49Speaker 3: into cryptog and I enter this space because of gaming.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And then you want to take a look at the
- 13:53Speaker 3: good projects and do you want to go and buy
- 13:56Speaker 3: you know, something that could go from ten or twenty
- 13:58Speaker 3: or you know ten, ten, twenty thirty billion that's already
- 14:01Speaker 3: billions of dollars, or there's a chance to buy some
- 14:04Speaker 3: gems in the market that are literally single digit millions
- 14:07Speaker 3: or and and so that's that's just that's just where
- 14:10Speaker 3: we see the opportunity, and we're investors, so we look
- 14:13Speaker 3: for those unities as well. Right, And you know what,
- 14:15Speaker 3: I forgot what who said it, but the famous saying
- 14:17Speaker 3: around like when everyone's running away from something, maybe that's
- 14:20Speaker 3: when you start looking, right, Yeah, so that's exactly what.
- 14:23Speaker 1: That's that's exactly to get well, I think if you
- 14:25Speaker 1: look at the acquisition plan that you're talking about and
- 14:29Speaker 1: this strategy, this is only going to build up your valuation.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And did you know that when you go IPO in
- 14:36Speaker 1: the United States that your valuation level is going to
- 14:38Speaker 1: be much greater post IPO.
- 14:42Speaker 3: So first of all, looking at the investments we've done,
- 14:46Speaker 3: you know, for instance, like you know in the US,
- 14:48Speaker 3: we've done a number of treasury deals like DDC, right,
- 14:51Speaker 3: which was a bitcoin one that's done very well.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Right, We've done a few more right, Like we.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Can see the valuation premium is given to those companies,
- 14:58Speaker 3: so we certainly have seen that effect.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Well.
- 15:00Speaker 3: The other thing for us also is that we want
- 15:02Speaker 3: to be able to tell the story about work three
- 15:04Speaker 3: because right now we're at the stage where we're telling
- 15:06Speaker 3: people about bitcoin and then a little bit of ethereum.
- 15:08Speaker 3: But we know that Web three and blockchain so much more, right,
- 15:12Speaker 3: so they basically open up the gateway for the conversation,
- 15:14Speaker 3: and now we should enter with different type of tokens
- 15:17Speaker 3: and tell them what it's all about and when they
- 15:19Speaker 3: understand that, just like you know, your audience on the
- 15:22Speaker 3: show and other people in the space, when they understand,
- 15:25Speaker 3: you know, they never go back and they say, you
- 15:27Speaker 3: know what, this is great, and so they kind of
- 15:28Speaker 3: come into that. So this isn't just about you know,
- 15:31Speaker 3: basically what makes sense is the investment. This is also
- 15:33Speaker 3: sort of how do we promote the space to the
- 15:35Speaker 3: right people, how do we bring attention to those investors
- 15:37Speaker 3: so they understand that there's a big opportunity here.
- 15:40Speaker 4: You know, it's had an impact. That's the other thing.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I mean if you look at Tower, Mike pet Hooligan,
- 15:44Speaker 3: or you know, across the ages, all these tokens have
- 15:47Speaker 3: gone up. In the case of Tower, it's over one
- 15:48Speaker 3: hundred percent. In the case of you know, CTA and
- 15:52Speaker 3: Carrot it's up like thirty percent or something. And again
- 15:56Speaker 3: it doesn't stop there, right, It's just to show that
- 15:58Speaker 3: there is potential momentum out there, an opportunity.
- 16:01Speaker 4: There's a lot more than that.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So so we were scouring for these great gyms in
- 16:06Speaker 3: the market right now.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You mentioned pengu earlier, and of course there's a few
- 16:11Speaker 1: points that are kind of moving right now. Pengu now
- 16:16Speaker 1: reflipping bank. There's a there's a struggle out there. Do
- 16:19Speaker 1: you think pengu will flip Doge? Do you think there's
- 16:22Speaker 1: a possibility for that?
- 16:23Speaker 4: Ahaha.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Well, so, first of all, it's important to note that
- 16:26Speaker 3: Luca is an absolute animal in a good way. He's driven,
- 16:31Speaker 3: and so he's not someone that you should bet against,
- 16:34Speaker 3: and we very much betting on him. And you know,
- 16:36Speaker 3: we're investors as well and supporters, you know what. We
- 16:39Speaker 3: like what they're building with abstract. You know, I hold
- 16:42Speaker 3: a bunch of pengous myself, and so a number of
- 16:45Speaker 3: our existing portfolio companies have started building abstract and are
- 16:48Speaker 3: doing well.
- 16:49Speaker 4: So I would.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Say, you know, yeah, pay attention, but you know, you
- 16:52Speaker 3: go where essentially the money is.
- 16:54Speaker 4: And it's no.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Different than people moving from moving to Dubai right, or
- 16:58Speaker 3: moving to Hong Kong or moving to the U yes
- 17:00Speaker 3: right for opportunity.
- 17:01Speaker 4: That's kind of how how you can think of it
- 17:03Speaker 4: that way.
- 17:04Speaker 3: But yeah, so we're very very optimistic about that US
- 17:07Speaker 3: companies are going to succeed. You know, I have a
- 17:10Speaker 3: higher chance because the market is hungry for it. Right,
- 17:13Speaker 3: Why is this market so attractory companies? It is because
- 17:17Speaker 3: investors have been really wanting to invest in this category
- 17:20Speaker 3: but they were effectively disallowed. And also for the foot
- 17:23Speaker 3: gates like you know, Robin Hood etro they all offering crypto,
- 17:26Speaker 3: doing securitized tokens.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Bengo.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Exactly exactly.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Don't bet against Luca. So I'm going to just take
- 17:33Speaker 1: it from that for our audience, because everybody's going to
- 17:36Speaker 1: be looking at that and trying to figure it out.
- 17:38Speaker 1: But you look at this move right here, McDonald's. I
- 17:40Speaker 1: want to kind of show you something. This is did
- 17:42Speaker 1: you know that McDonald's I pod in the United States?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yes?
- 17:49Speaker 2: Yes, My point.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Being an American company, I'm.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Messing with it.
- 17:53Speaker 1: So my point is is that they had their biggest
- 17:55Speaker 1: marketing launch and guess what it was. Minecraft My question
- 17:58Speaker 1: is is there's some potential here of a adult happy meal? Okay,
- 18:03Speaker 1: and if we get into an adult happy meal, one
- 18:05Speaker 1: of the things that could happen right there is that
- 18:08Speaker 1: right there, Yeah, pudgy penguins could get into this.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So should we expect that, you know, McDonald's one wants
- 18:15Speaker 3: to work with something like pug I think it's entirely possible.
- 18:17Speaker 3: But would they do it, you know, like I would
- 18:19Speaker 3: put it more in the sort of fifty to fifty
- 18:22Speaker 3: sixty forty category rather than the sort of ninety ten things, right,
- 18:25Speaker 3: only because like NFT is about a half a billion
- 18:27Speaker 3: dollars of sales a month still, right, So actually it's
- 18:30Speaker 3: it's good, but for a lot of people it's it's
- 18:33Speaker 3: they've just come around saying, oh, bitcoin is probably real. Okay,
- 18:37Speaker 3: So so when you could go down the next thing
- 18:40Speaker 3: then is ethereum, and then it's like okay, tokens, and
- 18:43Speaker 3: then it's like NFTs understanding that NFTs are actually serious.
- 18:47Speaker 3: And I think that's the other thing, you know, we
- 18:49Speaker 3: think of NFTs as a kind of levered ethereum that
- 18:52Speaker 3: for the crypto market as well. Like if you basically
- 18:55Speaker 3: had a if you if you had you know, when
- 18:57Speaker 3: ethereum was really low, you know, whether it's a board
- 19:00Speaker 3: ape or whether it's a pudgy obviously thought well even
- 19:02Speaker 3: a mecha verse or or you know, an NFT like that,
- 19:07Speaker 3: you would probably how we had more levered effect from
- 19:11Speaker 3: from ethereum than necessarily just holding nakedive theory by itself.
- 19:15Speaker 3: But of course it's for certain projects, and we do
- 19:18Speaker 3: believe that the OG projects have that, so you know,
- 19:20Speaker 3: today we also did sort of a little sort of
- 19:23Speaker 3: announcement collaboration with cool Cats and more to come, shall
- 19:27Speaker 3: we say, it's an example how we think the timing
- 19:30Speaker 3: is now.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So, so I was going to go back to a
- 19:33Speaker 1: statement that you made on Twitter just this morning before
- 19:37Speaker 1: we were preparing for this, and it was referencing the vault.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Explain to me a little bit of what you guys
- 19:41Speaker 1: are doing over there.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Then one of the next big important frontiers of the
- 19:44Speaker 3: space is r WA. So when you think about what's
- 19:47Speaker 3: the biggest r WA in crypto today, it's stable coins.
- 19:50Speaker 3: So it's an investor grate basically a vault, you know,
- 19:53Speaker 3: back by a figure. You basically have you know, basically
- 19:55Speaker 3: billions of dollars or ready of real assets where you
- 19:57Speaker 3: can bring institutional investors into the space and you know,
- 20:00Speaker 3: they're also sec registered yielding sort.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Of assets as well.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Uh, you know, and you have things like you know,
- 20:06Speaker 3: home equity loans and so on. Like that's the type
- 20:08Speaker 3: of stuff that let's call the traditional guys understand and
- 20:11Speaker 3: they go, oh, okay, tokenizing that that kind of makes sense, right,
- 20:15Speaker 3: we might understand you know, the network effects and the
- 20:17Speaker 3: meaning of things like meme coins and game tokens. But
- 20:20Speaker 3: when it comes to sort of real world assets, that's
- 20:22Speaker 3: where tradifi goes. Oh okay, when you look at intellectual property,
- 20:26Speaker 3: when you look at gold, when you look at you know,
- 20:29Speaker 3: home equity loans or even student loans where we're kind
- 20:31Speaker 3: of getting into as well as our WA's for instance,
- 20:35Speaker 3: dwarf for the balundy of bitcoin.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yeah, for the time, right, it's a completely dwarfs, no doubt.
- 20:40Speaker 3: We're all excited about bitcoin hitting two trillion market cap
- 20:42Speaker 3: three goal that twelve.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Billion trillion, right yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but everything else is like one hundred trillion trillion
- 20:50Speaker 4: right right. Of course, we're going to open up the
- 20:51Speaker 4: Asian market. It's going to be very exciting.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Listen.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, So it's been great having you on today. Thank
- 20:56Speaker 1: you so much for coming in. I know your connections
- 20:58Speaker 1: are kind of in and out there, but we do
