Latest / Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge / Popping Off: VPR Reunion Pt. 1 & The Valley Ep 9
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spinoff show Popping Off,
- 0:09Speaker 1: where we are digging deep on this season of Vanner
- 0:12Speaker 1: Pump Rules. Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Popping
- 0:16Speaker 1: Off with Teddy Mellencamp and.
- 0:19Speaker 2: And Emily Simpson. Thanks for joining us. So we're going
- 0:22Speaker 2: to go right into the headlines.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't have time for small chat here now.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's too much going on.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I don't need to talk to you. I don't need
- 0:30Speaker 3: to actually.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Talk to you about anything regarding life. I just need
- 0:34Speaker 1: for our guilty pleasure. We just need to get to business, guys.
- 0:37Speaker 3: All right, so let's go go ahead.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Okay, So, first and foremost exciting news, The Valley renewed
- 0:44Speaker 1: for season two, with the full cast returning. This Variety
- 0:48Speaker 1: article said it has been renewed for a second season,
- 0:51Speaker 1: and yes, the full cast is expected to be back,
- 0:55Speaker 1: even those who seem to be heading toward divorce. In
- 0:58Speaker 1: the announcement part of the broader set of renewals made
- 1:01Speaker 1: by a parent company and be Soon U Reversal, the
- 1:03Speaker 1: company called the show it's most watched freshman series in
- 1:08Speaker 1: nearly a decade. But doesn't this mean there has to
- 1:11Speaker 1: be a reunion? Yeah, that doesn't make sense to me.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You can't brag about what a great show it.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Is and how amazing it is and how the ratings
- 1:19Speaker 2: are great and then be like, oh, and by the way,
- 1:21Speaker 2: there's no reunion.
- 1:22Speaker 3: That doesn't make any sense.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I mean, Kristen did say in this New York Post
- 1:26Speaker 1: article nobody knows of Season one of The Valley is
- 1:29Speaker 1: getting a reunion, including herself, After claiming on her podcast
- 1:33Speaker 1: that the cast of vander Pump Rules spin off series
- 1:36Speaker 1: won't be filming a reunion special, she goes, I did
- 1:39Speaker 1: say it on my podcast, but it's what I've read online.
- 1:42Speaker 1: The Reality Start explained while promoting the new Amazon competition
- 1:46Speaker 1: reality show The Goat. This this really tracks for Kristen
- 1:50Speaker 1: because she seems to always say things but.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Nine get it right.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, she does like to just talk blah blah blah oah,
- 1:58Speaker 2: and then she has to reel back in and be like, well,
- 2:01Speaker 2: that's not exactly what I meant to say, So it is.
- 2:04Speaker 2: It does track for It's very on brand for Kristen.
- 2:06Speaker 2: There's no reunion, and then to backtrack and say well,
- 2:09Speaker 2: maybe there is. Honestly, it doesn't make sense that there
- 2:11Speaker 2: wouldn't be one, especially with this show, because there's so
- 2:13Speaker 2: many things that have happened since the show filmed and aired.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I mean, there's the whole Brittany Jack situation. There's Michelle
- 2:19Speaker 2: and Jesse. So I mean, if any show needs a reunion,
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's this one.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It's this one, and we're fun. Listen.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm fine for them to condense it into one episode.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I don't need three. I'm fine with just one. Cram
- 2:32Speaker 3: it in, get all the.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Shit, and let's go. But I also need to know
- 2:36Speaker 1: who the celebrity is that Michelle was talking to me.
- 2:39Speaker 3: You do I know?
- 2:40Speaker 2: Every time that comes up, I picture you just dying
- 2:44Speaker 2: that you don't know who it is.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's it really is unnerving. This next one is kind
- 2:50Speaker 1: of a story foe story. Uh. Taste of Reality posted something,
- 2:56Speaker 1: and then somebody else posted that all of the cast
- 2:59Speaker 1: no longer has pump Rules in their bio. I confirmed
- 3:03Speaker 1: Laala never had it in her bio. However, Tom Sandval
- 3:08Speaker 1: and Tom Schwartz removed it and then it's back at
- 3:11Speaker 1: the bottom.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Did they remove it at the same time and then
- 3:15Speaker 2: put it back at the same time, like was it
- 3:17Speaker 2: a coordinated effort?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah? Why they were boughting a house, getting alone together.
- 3:22Speaker 1: They were like, let's also take this so I know why.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I don't now that I've heard more about it, I
- 3:29Speaker 1: don't think vander pump rules is done.
- 3:33Speaker 3: No, I don't think so either. And I don't know.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Sometimes I feel like when people remove that stuff from
- 3:37Speaker 2: their bio, they do it just as a way to
- 3:39Speaker 2: get pressed. I don't you think that people just put
- 3:42Speaker 2: it in, take it out, put it and take it out, right?
- 3:45Speaker 1: And then also if people are going to do the
- 3:48Speaker 1: research on it and going to say and everybody's removed it,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you need to know for sure that everybody had it
- 3:54Speaker 1: in the first place, right.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Well, you know, I was thinking, I'm sorry.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Sandoval had never removed it. Of course he didn't.
- 4:00Speaker 3: He's too busy making out with his girlfriend. He doesn't
- 4:03Speaker 3: know what's going on.
- 4:05Speaker 2: When all this removing from the you know, from the bio,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I thought, well, what if I just remove rhoc from
- 4:11Speaker 2: my bio to see what happens.
- 4:13Speaker 3: What if you just you should remove it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I mean, if you remove it, people are going to
- 4:18Speaker 1: say she got fired, and then you're gonna get all
- 4:20Speaker 1: that like, good, it's about time, right, Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I hated her anyway.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and then people are going to be like, what reason. Yeah,
- 4:32Speaker 1: like it's just all of it. It's a lot for
- 4:35Speaker 1: one little hashtag that you have.
- 4:37Speaker 3: In the right.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But what will you do when you get the boot?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Because your Instagram name says I know OC. I mean
- 4:46Speaker 1: no problem, I.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Know it is a problem. I thought every year I've
- 4:49Speaker 2: thought about that. I'm like, oh, if I get the boot,
- 4:51Speaker 2: I gotta change that Instagram. I'll just change it to
- 4:53Speaker 2: rho ce No more.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Emily Simpson. I mean you really.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Committed there with the full Instagram now, I did, because
- 5:04Speaker 1: you know what, Emily Simpson is so common.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I couldn't There was no like, I could not find
- 5:08Speaker 2: any option. There was no like Emily Simpson one, two, three, ABC.
- 5:12Speaker 3: They were all gone.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So you're like, I'm gonna just stake this claim that
- 5:17Speaker 1: hopefully there's never another Emily Simpson on Real Housewives exactly. Well,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I appreciate your commitment there.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Vpr's Tom Sandival shuts down split rumors by posting and
- 5:30Speaker 2: not safe for work photo with girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson.
- 5:34Speaker 2: It was an US article. Tom Sandoval didn't just tell
- 5:37Speaker 2: vander Pumperroles fans that he's still dating Victoria Lee Robinson.
- 5:41Speaker 2: He showed them as well. Sandoval took to Instagram stories
- 5:45Speaker 2: on Saturday, May eleventh to share a photo of the
- 5:47Speaker 2: couple in a photo booth. The first snap showed Sandval
- 5:50Speaker 2: and Robinson posing for the camera, while the second featured
- 5:53Speaker 2: Sandoval pretending to bite Robinson's breast. Very classy.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I could have done without it, to be like I,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you know what, to get press. I would have been fine.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Which is the allure that maybe they broke up or
- 6:07Speaker 1: they didn't. I don't need to see proof of you
- 6:09Speaker 1: biting said significant others breast to prove it. But that's
- 6:14Speaker 1: just me. Oh, this is kind of exciting. The drunk
- 6:20Speaker 1: guy from the vander Pump Rule season eleven was not well,
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is what the kids say, was not a randown.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I keep reading this. There's a lot of a lot
- 6:30Speaker 3: of theories out there.
- 6:31Speaker 1: This nameless man and I said this. I don't know
- 6:34Speaker 1: if I said this to you on the pod or
- 6:35Speaker 1: I said it to you on text. I recognize that guy,
- 6:39Speaker 1: like I have either met him before or been in
- 6:41Speaker 1: the same place, Like I never I always forget a name.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I never forget a face, and I've seen that face.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But this nameless man was taking pictures of all Tom's friends,
- 6:51Speaker 1: Kyle chan I mean, we've just seen him throughout. But
- 6:55Speaker 1: what fans are speculating is that the production team or
- 6:59Speaker 1: Sam of All himself planned the entire act so Sandoval
- 7:03Speaker 1: could look like the hero.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I don't know about that. What do you think? I
- 7:07Speaker 3: feel like that's a reach.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know that he necessarily. I think
- 7:14Speaker 1: if they are his, if he is his friend, he
- 7:18Speaker 1: could be like, yeah, come in and make a bed,
- 7:20Speaker 1: like let's have fun, let's do the reunion, and the
- 7:22Speaker 1: guy like took it at it seriously. Yes, But what
- 7:28Speaker 1: I find odd is like there was a moment where
- 7:32Speaker 1: La La and I think Katie and a couple of
- 7:34Speaker 1: the others that were sitting at that couch were like,
- 7:37Speaker 1: who's this guy? How did they not recognize the guy?
- 7:41Speaker 1: But I did so.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Well, you never know with you, I don't know you get.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Around at the pool party.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Maybe you know what I saw.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I did see a meme or something on Instagram where
- 7:54Speaker 2: show someone showed a side by side of a photo
- 7:57Speaker 2: with Joe with his jacket on, Oh.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I was that his jacket or Brox jacket?
- 8:04Speaker 2: Well, no, no, it was his jacket. Yeah, it was
- 8:06Speaker 2: a gold jacket, and I believe it was his jacket.
- 8:08Speaker 2: So I do think that you are onto something that
- 8:11Speaker 2: he is. He's known by these people, so I don't know.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm going to just say this, even if it's a
- 8:16Speaker 1: good as Gold theme party, if you feel the need
- 8:21Speaker 1: to wear a gold suit jacket, and I mean this
- 8:24Speaker 1: even goes to like Jesse from the Valley or Brock
- 8:27Speaker 1: or the random guy who caused a scene at vander
- 8:29Speaker 1: Pump Rules, I don't. I don't really like a guy
- 8:33Speaker 1: in a gold suit jacket. No, why are you? Would
- 8:39Speaker 1: you be into Shane in a gold suit jacket.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I can't picture Shane and anything but a Van sweatshirt,
- 8:44Speaker 2: So like, going from a Van sweatshirt to a gold
- 8:47Speaker 2: jacket is just way too much of a leaf for me.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I mean, I think man Shannon both wore this Alice
- 8:54Speaker 1: and Olivia gold suit once and like I remember that. Oh,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I still look at my closet and I'm like, it's
- 9:01Speaker 1: time for this to go to the real real, Like
- 9:03Speaker 1: it's really time. Would anyone even buy it? Let's get
- 9:13Speaker 1: into the recap. I watched the uncut I hate the
- 9:16Speaker 1: word uncut it sounds but I watched the uncut version,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and I guess the cut version, and I didn't spot
- 9:25Speaker 1: the difference. So either I'm slipping or like there wasn't
- 9:28Speaker 1: a huge difference, or.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's okay, all right because I don't then I don't
- 9:32Speaker 2: feel badly because I did not watch the uncut version.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So but now, do you watch the circumcised version I watched.
- 9:38Speaker 3: I watched the circumcised version.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yes, okay, So it starts out Katie and Ariana confidently
- 9:48Speaker 1: say that their standard shop will be open when this
- 9:51Speaker 1: reunion airs, but there's something about being one week off.
- 9:57Speaker 1: That's a problem because I mean his air and the
- 10:01Speaker 1: sandwich shop doesn't open until next week. But it's so close, ladies.
- 10:05Speaker 2: There is a sign out front. I had someone that
- 10:08Speaker 2: follows me on Instagram did a drive by yesterday and
- 10:10Speaker 2: they sent me a photo.
- 10:11Speaker 1: So there is a sign.
- 10:12Speaker 2: There is a sign, but they also sent me they
- 10:15Speaker 2: sent me a photo of the sign. But it also
- 10:18Speaker 2: looks like it still doesn't look ready to open. It
- 10:22Speaker 2: looks like there's a lot of just kind of debris about.
- 10:25Speaker 2: But you know, that's something that maybe could be just quick,
- 10:27Speaker 2: you know, cleaned up quickly.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So okay, I love debris about.
- 10:31Speaker 3: There's a debris about. There's like some debris laying around.
- 10:34Speaker 3: But there's debris.
- 10:35Speaker 1: About, debris about in my life from day to day.
- 10:40Speaker 1: But we're gonna have to do a taste test. It's
- 10:42Speaker 1: gonna be hard without Penny, but I guess we're gonna
- 10:45Speaker 1: have to do one regardless. Then we get to when
- 10:49Speaker 1: Jack still lived with Brittany after cheating on her, Sandoval
- 10:53Speaker 1: told him he needed to move out, and he Sandoval
- 10:58Speaker 1: claims he'd feel different if it was a five bedroom house.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I don't understeel about that. I don't even understand that.
- 11:06Speaker 2: What does he mean what he's saying it's a more
- 11:09Speaker 2: expensive home.
- 11:10Speaker 1: No, I think he's saying when he originally said that
- 11:15Speaker 1: to Jack's he lived in an apartment. So saying you need
- 11:19Speaker 1: to leave is very different than owning a home with
- 11:22Speaker 1: somebody and having your finances in our.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Minds and you know, but no, I do get it.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I do think there's some weight to that.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I mean, when you do commingle your expenses and you
- 11:34Speaker 2: do buy a home together, you don't want to be
- 11:36Speaker 2: the one that moves out because you don't want to
- 11:38Speaker 2: be the one that abandoned the home. So I'm sure
- 11:40Speaker 2: both attorneys on both sides are telling both of them
- 11:43Speaker 2: not to leave. Yeah, that would be my guess. He
- 11:46Speaker 2: did say it in this reunion. He goes, I'm not
- 11:48Speaker 2: the smartest.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And I wonder when he says those things, and I
- 11:52Speaker 1: get it, I can be self deprecating as well, but
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm wondering if he's doing it because he really doesn't
- 11:58Speaker 1: think he's the smartest, or he wants like pity.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Probably a little of both.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I think maybe in that moment he was actually self aware,
- 12:08Speaker 2: like for once.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I mean, he thinks he's pretty brilliant and he thinks
- 12:15Speaker 1: his room is clean, so how could he not know?
- 12:19Speaker 1: But either way, Sheena knew exactly what to say to
- 12:23Speaker 1: get that part of her covering the lego art. Oh
- 12:28Speaker 1: yeah in there, She's like, yes, flashback is the moment
- 12:32Speaker 1: of me where Ariane enjoyed me. But it was a
- 12:36Speaker 1: good point. Then can we get into a little bit
- 12:39Speaker 1: of Lisa vander Pump, which I wish we could recap
- 12:42Speaker 1: Lisa vander Pump on Watch What Happened Live Last Night because.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That I did not watch it, but I heard that
- 12:49Speaker 3: she was.
- 12:49Speaker 1: A lot she I don't know if she was more
- 12:52Speaker 1: comfy because there was another British humor like with her
- 12:57Speaker 1: and they were like a little sauce, but like she
- 13:00Speaker 1: was back to her shady self, like she shaded everyone.
- 13:03Speaker 1: There was no one left shade by the end. Like
- 13:07Speaker 1: even Andy was like, Okay, let me talk to him.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm actually asking him questions right now. But I'll get
- 13:14Speaker 1: into that on to Teason a pod with Tamer on Monday,
- 13:17Speaker 1: because we are really talking about vander pump roles. We're
- 13:19Speaker 1: not talking about the housewife shade right now. Yeah, but
- 13:21Speaker 1: Lisa calls Rachel's actions unpredictable. She said she didn't know
- 13:27Speaker 1: if she would return for season eleven or not. She
- 13:29Speaker 1: says about Rachel's podcast, all this nonsense on a podcast
- 13:34Speaker 1: denegrating everyone, It's ridiculous.
- 13:36Speaker 3: It's ridiculous.
- 13:37Speaker 1: But then Tom, this is something that drives me a
- 13:40Speaker 1: little nuts. And I know that you say you don't
- 13:41Speaker 1: watch your show, but vander Pump always says, I don't
- 13:46Speaker 1: watch it. I'm a but like it's like she's above things,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but she knows every single detail.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Are you talking about the podcast?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Sow.
- 13:52Speaker 3: She said she doesn't listen to it.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Yeah, she said she didn't listen to it. She said
- 13:57Speaker 1: she didn't watch you know, Beverly Hill, like she always says.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I like, I'm too busy to watch these things.
- 14:04Speaker 3: But the people have told me that the peasants.
- 14:08Speaker 1: The peasants on my Twitter account really apprised of the situation.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Then La La applaud Sandoval and Rachel for showing up
- 14:16Speaker 1: to last year's reunion.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Now, see, I I don't know. I actually agreed with
- 14:22Speaker 2: La La. I agree with Lala a lot.
- 14:24Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I just I felt like when she said that it
- 14:28Speaker 2: was it was pretty remarkable for them to show up
- 14:30Speaker 2: at all.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I mean, I can't imagine being them and showing up
- 14:33Speaker 3: to that. Could you?
- 14:35Speaker 2: Could you show your face after all of that, after
- 14:38Speaker 2: it became a global phenomena and everybody was talking about it,
- 14:43Speaker 2: could you show up?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Well, I most definitely wouldn't do something like that.
- 14:50Speaker 2: If I show up, you have to skip over that
- 14:52Speaker 2: part and just pretend that you did.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But if I couldn't, if I could get myself to
- 14:58Speaker 1: do those things, and and really, I mean there's no
- 15:01Speaker 1: way they believed this would never come to light. There's
- 15:04Speaker 1: absolutely no way in any stretch of the imagination. Maybe
- 15:08Speaker 1: they thought it wasn't going to come to light as
- 15:10Speaker 1: quickly as it did, but I think at that point
- 15:14Speaker 1: they felt very justified in their actions. And yes, maybe
- 15:19Speaker 1: she had regrets since because it just kept getting worse
- 15:22Speaker 1: and worse and worse, But in that moment, I think
- 15:26Speaker 1: she felt justified and validated in the decisions that they
- 15:30Speaker 1: made together.
- 15:31Speaker 2: So you're saying when they showed up to the reunion,
- 15:33Speaker 2: they showed up with the mindset that they were not
- 15:36Speaker 2: necessarily in the right, but that what they had did
- 15:39Speaker 2: they could explain, like they could explain it away, like
- 15:41Speaker 2: there was some reasonableness to it that people would grasp onto,
- 15:44Speaker 2: because they definitely.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Weren't apologetic last year. I mean, they it really didn't happen.
- 15:51Speaker 1: But then Sandoval comes forward, so everyone's you know, Lalla
- 15:54Speaker 1: says the bad bitch thing, and then Sandoval says he
- 15:57Speaker 1: thinks Rachel is a coward for saying she was moving
- 16:00Speaker 1: on but continuing to talk about them. They're both responsible
- 16:03Speaker 1: for their actions, and Sandoval things, it's ridiculous to say
- 16:07Speaker 1: he groomed her. Then they get into a big conversation
- 16:09Speaker 1: about grooming, while it corrects him on what grooming means
- 16:13Speaker 1: and says Sandoval was very impressionable, and then Sandoval yell's, uh, well,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I was very impressional when she took her clothes off
- 16:21Speaker 1: and jumped in my fucking pool. Okay, what are your thoughts,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I mean on the grooming situation before you get into it,
- 16:30Speaker 1: The actual definition of grooming is the action of attempting
- 16:34Speaker 1: to form a relationship with a child or a young
- 16:37Speaker 1: person with the intention of sexually assaulting them or inducing
- 16:40Speaker 1: them to commit an illegal act, such as selling drugs
- 16:44Speaker 1: or joining a terrorist organization.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Okay, well, then based upon that definition, clearly, I mean
- 16:51Speaker 2: it wasn't grooming. I do understand that there's really points
- 16:55Speaker 2: on both sides. I understand that she's younger than Sandoval,
- 16:57Speaker 2: and he's the more famous one, the more well known one,
- 17:00Speaker 2: so maybe he had more control or maybe he was
- 17:03Speaker 2: able to manipulate her. But at the end of the day,
- 17:05Speaker 2: she's an adult. We're not talking about a child. We're
- 17:07Speaker 2: not talking about a teenager. We're talking about someone that
- 17:10Speaker 2: how old is she?
- 17:13Speaker 1: I mean, she's in her I don't know, mid to
- 17:14Speaker 1: late twenties. But I think the part that's also confusing
- 17:19Speaker 1: to me is they are just getting more people to
- 17:22Speaker 1: listen to her podcast. I'm like, listen, popping Off has
- 17:25Speaker 1: a lot to say too, So you guys want to
- 17:27Speaker 1: comment on us. Yeah, but she's twenty nine now.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay, Well so then she was twenty eight twenty seven
- 17:35Speaker 2: at the time.
- 17:37Speaker 1: And I just watched the Kevin Spacey Show on Max
- 17:41Speaker 1: and I think there's a you know, part of what
- 17:44Speaker 1: he was doing, allegedly according to that show, was he
- 17:51Speaker 1: was telling people he was going to blow up their career,
- 17:56Speaker 1: that these are aspiring at actors that wanted, you know whatever,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and he would allegedly touched them in a sexual manner
- 18:05Speaker 1: that they weren't comfortable doing. So I understand the word
- 18:09Speaker 1: grooming in that context no matter the age, because you're
- 18:13Speaker 1: promising something that.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You're promising, you're promising some benefit at the end that
- 18:18Speaker 2: someone's going to achieve by doing what this person wants sexually.
- 18:22Speaker 2: So you're saying in some way that he did kind
- 18:25Speaker 2: of groom her in a sense in a sense.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But what was this is my question, What's he promising
- 18:32Speaker 1: her more airtime? Like?
- 18:34Speaker 3: That's That's what I don't get.
- 18:35Speaker 1: She's already on the show.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe more popularity longitivity, I don't know.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So that's where I actually thought it wasn't necessarily grooming
- 18:46Speaker 1: because he I don't know what he could promise her.
- 18:50Speaker 1: She doesn't produce the show. Like Kevin Space, for example,
- 18:54Speaker 1: was one of the producers of House of Cards. He
- 18:59Speaker 1: won Multi Bull Academy Awards, like he was in a
- 19:03Speaker 1: real like what position of strength is Tom Sandoval in?
- 19:06Speaker 1: That puts him in any position of strength more than
- 19:08Speaker 1: anybody else, I mean, other than to Lisa vander Pump
- 19:11Speaker 1: because she clearly chooses you know, Tom and Tom over anybody.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Else, Right, And I get that, But don't you feel
- 19:17Speaker 2: like on every cast if you have you have your
- 19:19Speaker 2: housewives that have been on for a long time, and
- 19:21Speaker 2: then you have your newbies that come on. And I
- 19:22Speaker 2: would say your new housewives sometimes bow down or or
- 19:26Speaker 2: or manipulated by your your veteran housewives. Yeah, And I
- 19:31Speaker 2: mean they're not producers, They're not able to promise anything.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But when when someone's the weaker link on a show,
- 19:37Speaker 2: I think they can be easily manipulated.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Correct, I I believe that is what like do I
- 19:43Speaker 1: think there were times my first season where I felt
- 19:46Speaker 1: like I was naive with some of my actions. Yes,
- 19:52Speaker 1: But would I say that I was groomed? That's that's
- 19:56Speaker 1: a word it is. It's a buzzword, and I don't
- 19:59Speaker 1: do great with buzzwords. Like the word trigger triggers me.
- 20:03Speaker 3: I don't like the word trigger either.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I really I don't like it.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I try to avoid it. What do you use in
- 20:09Speaker 3: place of trigger?
- 20:11Speaker 1: Bugs?
- 20:12Speaker 3: Bugs? I just say effects that affects me.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Oh that makes me feel like right. But then everyone
- 20:20Speaker 1: in the cast is disgusted that Rachel has the nerve
- 20:24Speaker 1: to sue Ariana and sand of aal for revenge porn.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Even Sandoval wonders if Rachel has has a soul due
- 20:31Speaker 1: to the fact that she's willing to put Arianna through
- 20:34Speaker 1: even more trauma. Even Tom has the insight to see
- 20:39Speaker 1: that Rachel suing Ariana is laughable and ridiculous.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I mean that's when you know it's severely just wrong
- 20:48Speaker 2: and inappropriate.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Like he's like this is this.
- 20:52Speaker 2: When when Sandoval has the insight, damn, you're like shit.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Then this part I want.
- 21:02Speaker 1: To discuss a little bit, like and not I know,
- 21:06Speaker 1: we like to laugh off a couple of things. But
- 21:08Speaker 1: something that I have talked about, even with Edwin is
- 21:13Speaker 1: the amount of partners that sue when one breaks up
- 21:20Speaker 1: with the other one, that somebody will say, whether it's
- 21:24Speaker 1: true or not true, that they're going to commit suicide
- 21:28Speaker 1: or they're having suicidal ideations. I did look up one
- 21:33Speaker 1: in five suicide stem from problems with a romantic partner.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And Shina made an excellent point when she said Arianna
- 21:42Speaker 1: told him in confidence, and then Sandoval expressed his suicidal
- 21:47Speaker 1: thoughts on his own volition. Also in that same token, though,
- 21:53Speaker 1: what are your thoughts on bringing off camera conversations to
- 21:59Speaker 1: life on the show? Show? Because it happens later on
- 22:01Speaker 1: in the reunion not as as severe as a topic,
- 22:04Speaker 1: clearly because it's not in regards to any suicidal ideations,
- 22:08Speaker 1: but Lala saying you know this, you know you brought
- 22:14Speaker 1: this enough off confidence of something she said. But then
- 22:17Speaker 1: Lala does the same thing about Cavings that.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Katie said, Yeah, you know, here's my I feel like
- 22:23Speaker 2: anytime you have a conversation off camera or when you're
- 22:27Speaker 2: not filming with a cast member, that it's truly an
- 22:30Speaker 2: assumption of risk that that conversation is going to come up,
- 22:33Speaker 2: and I have that in my mind every time if
- 22:36Speaker 2: I have a conversation with Gina, even though I trust
- 22:39Speaker 2: her one hundred percent, I do feel like there's always
- 22:41Speaker 2: that in the back of my mind that this could
- 22:43Speaker 2: come back up at some point with anyone on a cast.
- 22:46Speaker 2: So I think if you're filming a TV show and
- 22:48Speaker 2: you're having conversations, you can say all day long that
- 22:50Speaker 2: this is in confidence. You can ask the other person.
- 22:53Speaker 2: But I really feel like you are taking that risk.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Do you think you should be taking that risk. Do
- 23:00Speaker 1: you think you would think that you were taking that
- 23:02Speaker 1: risk if you were in a relationship with that person
- 23:05Speaker 1: for ten years.
- 23:06Speaker 2: No, I don't think that you should have that mindset.
- 23:09Speaker 2: I think whatever you're saying to someone that you're in
- 23:11Speaker 2: a committed relationship with that you've been in for ten years. Like,
- 23:13Speaker 2: if I have conversations with Shane, you know, offline, I
- 23:17Speaker 2: don't expect him to bring it up when we're filming.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I don't don't expect him to be like, well, last
- 23:22Speaker 2: night in bed, you said, like I trust that man.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:27Speaker 2: So I do understand how him bringing up that conversation
- 23:31Speaker 2: later was such a breach of a duty that he
- 23:35Speaker 2: had to her as a partner at that time. I
- 23:37Speaker 2: understand why he did it because I think he was
- 23:40Speaker 2: trying to explain why it was difficult for him to
- 23:43Speaker 2: just walk away or to just break up with her.
- 23:46Speaker 2: So I think that he felt the need for himself
- 23:49Speaker 2: to say that to expand. But there are times when,
- 23:54Speaker 2: no matter what the explanation is, you just keep your
- 23:56Speaker 2: mouth shut because you owe a duty to someone.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yeah, And almost wasn't necessary to go to that length.
- 24:03Speaker 1: He could have said, you know, now I'm acting like
- 24:08Speaker 1: Sandoval's pr person, like Laala was. But he could have said,
- 24:14Speaker 1: you know, Arianna repeatedly shared some of her mental health
- 24:17Speaker 1: struggles that would you know involve were involved when it
- 24:22Speaker 1: came to us breaking up, and I felt so much
- 24:25Speaker 1: guilt and panic that it was too hard for me
- 24:27Speaker 1: to walk away. Like he didn't have to spell it
- 24:29Speaker 1: out in the way that he did.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I guess the conversation could have been
- 24:36Speaker 2: just there are more issues and deeper rooted issues that
- 24:39Speaker 2: you're unaware of that I'm not comfortable talking about. But
- 24:41Speaker 2: it wasn't that easy, Like I couldn't just.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Walk away or I was scared to leave.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Then he gets into trying to explain his comparison between
- 24:49Speaker 1: Scandival and George Floyd, and la La agrees that Scannival
- 24:54Speaker 1: is a joke compared to what else is happening in
- 24:56Speaker 1: the world. At this point, I'm I'm starting to get
- 25:00Speaker 1: a little I see Lalla almost like stepping into protection
- 25:07Speaker 1: of Sandamal, which I don't know is protection of the
- 25:11Speaker 1: television show or protection of him, because at some point,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I forget who says it. One of them says, for
- 25:17Speaker 1: the sake of the show, can you please quit talking
- 25:20Speaker 1: to people?
- 25:22Speaker 3: Yeah? Who was that?
- 25:23Speaker 1: I remember that was Laala as well.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Did she say it to Tom? Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 25:29Speaker 3: it's probably.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like Lala says intelligent things, and
- 25:34Speaker 2: I feel like she is very much a voice of reason,
- 25:36Speaker 2: and I feel like she was trying to clarify what
- 25:38Speaker 2: Sandoval meant because it was so ridiculous what he said
- 25:42Speaker 2: that I think that in order to save the show
- 25:46Speaker 2: in general face that she had to step in and
- 25:48Speaker 2: kind of expand that he wasn't trying to compare himself
- 25:51Speaker 2: to these people per se. It was more of why
- 25:54Speaker 2: is this getting the same amount of attention on a
- 25:57Speaker 2: global scale when these are real issues and this is
- 26:00Speaker 2: just a reality show, Like why are they on the
- 26:03Speaker 2: same level globally?
- 26:05Speaker 1: But then Katie made such a good point. She's like,
- 26:07Speaker 1: it's not necessarily what I forget exactly what she said,
- 26:11Speaker 1: but it's not necessarily your intent of what impact, it's
- 26:14Speaker 1: the impact. And I think that really, I mean, that's
- 26:17Speaker 1: the key of clickmate. I mean the amount of times
- 26:21Speaker 1: that I could assume something and then I read the
- 26:23Speaker 1: article and I'm like, that's not what it freaking said.
- 26:27Speaker 2: You know all of it well, And the problem is
- 26:30Speaker 2: is that we're a clickbait society. So you can put
- 26:34Speaker 2: anything into two sentences and people will read those two
- 26:38Speaker 2: sentences and then regurt to take that information over and
- 26:41Speaker 2: over and over as truth without actually reading the meat
- 26:44Speaker 2: of the article. And that's a lot of the problem
- 26:46Speaker 2: in society.
- 26:48Speaker 1: And also just like essentially, Tom, quit trying to get
- 26:52Speaker 1: your ass canceled so we can keep a show going,
- 26:54Speaker 1: Like that's why.
- 26:55Speaker 2: She's think, I think that's basically you could just boil
- 26:58Speaker 2: it down to that, that's what that's.
- 27:00Speaker 3: That's surely shut up.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Then Lala gets emotional talking about Ocean and the custody
- 27:07Speaker 1: battle between herself and Randall She confirms baby number two
- 27:10Speaker 1: will not have a similar name to Ocean, and Tom says,
- 27:14Speaker 1: what about drive like Ocean Drive?
- 27:17Speaker 2: I really want it again, Tom.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Then Lala says more men are interested in her now
- 27:25Speaker 1: that she's pregnant. We see some of the ways that
- 27:28Speaker 1: like Lisa vander Pump is like Duck can't wrap her
- 27:32Speaker 1: head around any of this. She uses words like bitter
- 27:36Speaker 1: you will find someone. She's very old school in the
- 27:39Speaker 1: way that she looks at it, like I don't even
- 27:42Speaker 1: think it crossed her mind that like somebody would have
- 27:45Speaker 1: sex with a pregnant person.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she looked appalled, like she was like, oh, I
- 27:51Speaker 2: was like, come.
- 27:55Speaker 3: On, Lisa, let's go.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we are in twenty twenty four and.
- 28:00Speaker 3: You Lala's hot and she's single, so yeah whatever.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Yeah, she couldn't. She's and I think that's the struggle.
- 28:09Speaker 1: You can see where she gets caught and like her
- 28:11Speaker 1: old thinking and she's unable to like pivot. Then Sheena
- 28:16Speaker 1: addresses her postpartum ocd uh. She says she lives in
- 28:20Speaker 1: her comments and she saw the way that Brock and
- 28:24Speaker 1: Laala look at each other and that scares her. Then
- 28:26Speaker 1: Lala calls them a throuple. I was like, well, now
- 28:29Speaker 1: that scares me.
- 28:30Speaker 3: It looked odd, a little awkward.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Maybe just my paranoia that I'm like, I don't know.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I saw these like googly.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Eye, googly eyes, sparkly eyes.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Schwartz was giving her those, Lalla those same eyes.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he was when they were talking about flirting. But
- 28:47Speaker 2: I thought, but someone made the reference. They said, well,
- 28:50Speaker 2: I feel like it's more of Schwartz flirting with Laala,
- 28:52Speaker 2: and definitely when they did the flashbacks, he's always making
- 28:55Speaker 2: some kind of flirtatious comment towards her.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Well, then I was confused about something else because then
- 29:00Speaker 1: Arianna says something along the lines of, oh, that could
- 29:05Speaker 1: be fun, And I was like, really in regards to
- 29:10Speaker 1: in regards to Schwartz and Laala hooking up?
- 29:14Speaker 3: Oh did she she said that that could be fun?
- 29:16Speaker 1: Yeah, She's like that could be interesting or that could
- 29:18Speaker 1: be fun something like that. And I was like, hold up,
- 29:21Speaker 1: how could in what world could.
- 29:23Speaker 3: That be fun?
- 29:24Speaker 1: Knowing what we know now.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Right, And isn't that kind of a I don't know,
- 29:29Speaker 2: like a code violation there isn't she supposed to be like,
- 29:33Speaker 2: you know, girl code with Katie?
- 29:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but speaking of girl code. We can't forget, we
- 29:37Speaker 1: can't go back in time when Laala may have you know,
- 29:44Speaker 1: there was some action going on in the backseat of
- 29:47Speaker 1: the car with her and Ariana. So the idea of this,
- 29:52Speaker 1: all of the relationships being open, seem plausible.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Disability flu fill.
- 30:01Speaker 1: It if you will. Oh my gosh, this part was sad.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I got emotional too. Brock starts to cry talking about
- 30:15Speaker 1: his kids.
- 30:16Speaker 3: I cried too. I cried.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I was actually thinking about you in that moment, and
- 30:21Speaker 1: I had a question for you because I know that
- 30:25Speaker 1: you've talked about your relationship with your family, and do
- 30:31Speaker 1: you feel that when it comes to you, know, Brock says,
- 30:35Speaker 1: something you know, I've been paying since whatever the beginning
- 30:38Speaker 1: of the pandemic, And something my EXAs said is the
- 30:41Speaker 1: kids have not brought up that they want to have
- 30:45Speaker 1: a relationship with you. Do you think that is something
- 30:48Speaker 1: kids do bring up or do you think that's something
- 30:52Speaker 1: the parenting figure needs to foster if they're interested in that.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Okay, that's interesting that you asked me this, because honestly,
- 30:59Speaker 2: if you didn't ask me, I was going to talk
- 31:00Speaker 2: about this anyway, because I had a very strong reaction
- 31:02Speaker 2: to what he said, so, I mean, if you follow
- 31:05Speaker 2: real housewives or whatever.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I don't really have a relationship with my dad.
- 31:09Speaker 2: He left when I was very young, six and I
- 31:12Speaker 2: did not see him much growing up. And I remember
- 31:15Speaker 2: when I turned eighteen, my dad said something to me
- 31:19Speaker 2: to the effect of, oh, well, now you're eighteen, you're
- 31:22Speaker 2: an adult, so if you want to see me, you
- 31:24Speaker 2: know where I live. And I remember thinking, are you
- 31:28Speaker 2: kidding me? Like the burden as a child shouldn't be
- 31:32Speaker 2: on me. And that's all I kept thinking about when
- 31:34Speaker 2: he said that, was I understand where he's coming from. Maybe,
- 31:39Speaker 2: but at the end of the day, the kids won't.
- 31:41Speaker 2: They need to see him make an effort. So, Brock,
- 31:44Speaker 2: I don't know. You probably don't listen, but if you are,
- 31:46Speaker 2: if someone could forward this to him, my advice would
- 31:50Speaker 2: be from a child who grew up without a dad
- 31:52Speaker 2: around that as a child, we want someone to make
- 31:55Speaker 2: the effort. We want someone to come forward, even if
- 31:58Speaker 2: we're not receptive. He still needs to make the effort.
- 32:01Speaker 2: He still needs to try, He still needs to reach out.
- 32:03Speaker 2: He still needs to say, Hey, maybe you're not ready,
- 32:06Speaker 2: but I'm here when you are. You know, he needs
- 32:09Speaker 2: to make that effort and not just said great effort
- 32:12Speaker 2: is like cars texts, Hey, just thinking about you, whenever
- 32:16Speaker 2: you're ready to talk. I'm here, Hey, I would love
- 32:18Speaker 2: to see you. I would love to be around. Let
- 32:20Speaker 2: me know when you're available, let me know when you're ready.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Like he has to do that because a child's form
- 32:26Speaker 1: a thought process of when they're feeling like they've been
- 32:28Speaker 1: rejected in some way, whether that's the case or not,
- 32:31Speaker 1: is only going to grow as the years come. So
- 32:33Speaker 1: I don't think it's just magically going to change. If
- 32:36Speaker 1: he doesn't change something, and then if he doesn't try
- 32:38Speaker 1: to build and foster something more with Courtney where she
- 32:42Speaker 1: feels comfortable sharing with the kids. Your dad is here
- 32:45Speaker 1: and he loves you, and he wants to see you,
- 32:47Speaker 1: whether you want to see them or not.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yeah, and kids don't know.
- 32:51Speaker 2: I mean, if kids are going to say, well, no,
- 32:53Speaker 2: I don't want to see him because they don't have
- 32:55Speaker 2: that relationship, they're just going to go with whatever's comfortable.
- 32:58Speaker 2: He has to put himself out there and make himself uncomfortable.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Yeah, And I mean Katie showed a lot in this.
- 33:05Speaker 1: In this portion, she says she takes back her words
- 33:08Speaker 1: from years ago because she recognizes how great of a
- 33:11Speaker 1: dad he is. Katie showed right here what we call
- 33:14Speaker 1: growth and accountability. She says, like, I regret saying that,
- 33:18Speaker 1: I realize what what happened.
- 33:20Speaker 3: And then Brock.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Actually says something in response along the lines of like
- 33:26Speaker 1: actions have consequences. That's what he said, and and just
- 33:30Speaker 1: the fact that he said it that outright was like,
- 33:33Speaker 1: I realize I've.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Done absolutely, but I did.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I did appreciate what Katie said, and I do know
- 33:39Speaker 2: that she comes off harsh sometimes, but I do feel
- 33:42Speaker 2: as if when she comes off harsh and then later
- 33:45Speaker 2: she is wrong or she regrets what she said, she's
- 33:48Speaker 2: always one to own it and apologize. And I think
- 33:52Speaker 2: that's that's what makes someone good on TV. It's the
- 33:54Speaker 2: growth that you just said, it's the accountability.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah, then we get to Ariana doesn't want to put
- 34:01Speaker 1: herself on hold while she's navigating through her healing process.
- 34:05Speaker 1: That's why she sees no problem with dating Dan. The
- 34:08Speaker 1: entire thing between Dan, the conversation about Dan versus Allie
- 34:12Speaker 1: and I, honest none of it really is of interest
- 34:15Speaker 1: to me.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Honestly, I didn't really understand what the comparison was.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Then we get into Santoval and his new girlfriend and
- 34:21Speaker 1: then James being like, there's Leonardo wallpaper and all of
- 34:27Speaker 1: this stuff. I'm like and then Ariana being like, I
- 34:30Speaker 1: picked the wallpaper all ky. I was like, this is
- 34:33Speaker 1: a lot for me to process.
- 34:36Speaker 3: But that's her takeaway. Yeah, like that was my that's
- 34:39Speaker 3: her takeaway.
- 34:40Speaker 2: When it comes to the house, She's like, that's I
- 34:42Speaker 2: picked that damn wallpaper out.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Just wander everybody.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Did this ship years ago that my ex partner was
- 34:48Speaker 1: going to be with Leonardo Dicapriosa. But I clocked that.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I also clogged Tom short smile when he saw that
- 34:57Speaker 1: something about her had opening trouble. He was like this.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I was like, stop butter poker face, right. But yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Then they talk about how Pump is closed and Lisa
- 35:11Speaker 1: believes a business that was running for ten years is successful.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Arianna makes a snide comment asking really, and then.
- 35:19Speaker 3: We see didn't.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I thought that was so crappy of her to do, though,
- 35:22Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if it was editing.
- 35:24Speaker 3: I mean, I guess you could have started it or that.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Yeah, know that Arianna said that, I mean she's opening
- 35:29Speaker 2: a business. It's taken I mean the business still isn't
- 35:32Speaker 2: open yet. You're talking about someone that did run a
- 35:34Speaker 2: successful business for ten years, and then she makes that comment,
- 35:37Speaker 2: like really, I don't know. I just thought it was
- 35:39Speaker 2: off putting. I thought it was distasteful.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Well, I thought it was distasteful in both regards because
- 35:44Speaker 1: I thought that what Arianna said was a little bit eh.
- 35:47Speaker 1: And then also the way that Lisa really doubles down
- 35:51Speaker 1: against something about her. Clearly, I don't know, this may
- 35:55Speaker 1: be the wrong word, but there's either some animosity between
- 36:00Speaker 1: the two or jealousy or whatever. It is, like they
- 36:04Speaker 1: feel some kind of way about each other and it's
- 36:06Speaker 1: not being spoken about, so it's being put through their businesses.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Okay, do you think it's because well, Penny was recommended
- 36:13Speaker 2: to them by Lisa, right, yeah, yeah, so maybe the
- 36:16Speaker 2: issues with Penny are are, you know, coming like Lisa
- 36:20Speaker 2: doesn't like their way they're treating Penny or something.
- 36:23Speaker 1: You know.
- 36:23Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I think there's I think it's a messier than we know.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's there's a they said on the union, there's
- 36:29Speaker 1: a lawsuit involved, so clearly shit's hitting the fan. The
- 36:34Speaker 1: other thing I didn't really understand is when they say
- 36:37Speaker 1: Schworts and we didn't see Shorts and Sandy's this season
- 36:40Speaker 1: because the partner didn't want any filming in there. I'm like, listen, Greg,
- 36:44Speaker 1: why and why in the world would you get into
- 36:48Speaker 1: business with two reality television people and not want to
- 36:53Speaker 1: even if shit hit the fan and you didn't realize it,
- 36:56Speaker 1: but like, why would you Why would you even get
- 36:59Speaker 1: into that business? In thet it would be like me saying, like, oh,
- 37:03Speaker 1: why Schwartz and Sandoval moving in together? Like it clearly
- 37:08Speaker 1: you know what you're getting yourself into in that.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Well, you know.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Here's the thing, though, I think he knew what he
- 37:12Speaker 2: was getting into when it was helpful and beneficial because
- 37:15Speaker 2: they're on a show and people are coming in and
- 37:17Speaker 2: people are there because of the show. But then I
- 37:19Speaker 2: think he could never anticipate scandabal and the backlash that
- 37:24Speaker 2: came from that, because I do know, didn't the business suffer,
- 37:27Speaker 2: weren't people writing horrible reviews on Yelp and like the
- 37:30Speaker 2: business was struggling and everyone was talking negatively, And so
- 37:34Speaker 2: I think that's what that guy's probably traumatized.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Were you surprised that Ali wasn't out there from the beginning.
- 37:43Speaker 2: No, because I don't really I don't really think of
- 37:45Speaker 2: Ali as a main vander Pumperle's person.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So I Rock was out there, but I guess he
- 37:51Speaker 1: has a storyline more than the tarity.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I don't well, I felt like Brock was involved a
- 37:55Speaker 2: lot more. I felt like Ali's just more of a
- 37:58Speaker 2: good sidekick. I do think bro was involved in a
- 38:01Speaker 2: lot of the conversations and had a lot of opinions
- 38:04Speaker 2: about things.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's true. Then Ariana admits she didn't watch
- 38:08Speaker 1: this season at all, which gets some surprised looks from
- 38:11Speaker 1: Lisa and the cast members. I'm like, Lisa, this is
- 38:13Speaker 1: your line. Why do you look surprised right now? This
- 38:16Speaker 1: is your favorite thing to say. But I can. When
- 38:19Speaker 1: she said it, I kind of was like, all right,
- 38:21Speaker 1: that makes sense to me. But then it gets this
- 38:25Speaker 1: is where things take a turn. Apparently, Katie and Lala's
- 38:30Speaker 1: fighting stems from a DM Katie sent to Lalla that read,
- 38:34Speaker 1: get rid of your lawyers because what you need is
- 38:36Speaker 1: a fucking therapist. You're a fucking clown.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I wanted to deceive receipts of that, didn't you.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I was.
- 38:42Speaker 2: I was like waiting for them to flash the DM
- 38:45Speaker 2: or something up because I really wanted to see what.
- 38:47Speaker 1: It said, but neither of them denied it neither you know,
- 38:52Speaker 1: you know what exists.
- 38:53Speaker 2: That's why I thought they would have actually shown it,
- 38:56Speaker 2: because it's not like anyone was saying no, I didn't
- 38:59Speaker 2: send that, that's not what I said. But I really
- 39:01Speaker 2: wanted to see what it was said exactly.
- 39:03Speaker 1: But I think the reason it wasn't shown is it
- 39:06Speaker 1: probably breaks too many fourth walls.
- 39:08Speaker 3: You mean there was other conversations.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I was another conversation in there that's too much production
- 39:14Speaker 1: y and they were like, both of them are admitting it.
- 39:17Speaker 1: There's no reason to show the screenshot because it's only
- 39:20Speaker 1: going to expose how both of them were trying to
- 39:24Speaker 1: avoid this.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Okay, let me ask you a question, because I don't
- 39:27Speaker 2: maybe you know more what is the background on this DM,
- 39:31Speaker 2: like what.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Led to it?
- 39:33Speaker 1: I don't actually know.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I needed more context. I guess this is what I'm saying.
- 39:37Speaker 2: I needed more context to understand. I felt like that
- 39:39Speaker 2: conversation between Katie and Laala at the reunion, I feel
- 39:42Speaker 2: like all of a sudden, it just started and they
- 39:45Speaker 2: were talking about a DM, and then they're talking about
- 39:47Speaker 2: what the DM said, and I felt like there was
- 39:48Speaker 2: a lack of context.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Clearly there's a moment that Laala out some of the
- 39:53Speaker 1: things that Katie is allegedly said to her, how Arianna
- 39:57Speaker 1: abandoned her at the sandwich shop and wasn't up to
- 40:00Speaker 1: date on rent, and then the two girls had a
- 40:02Speaker 1: phone call where allegedly Katie threatened, if you with my business,
- 40:06Speaker 1: I'm going to with yours, Lala wishes. She responded by saying,
- 40:10Speaker 1: something about her is nothing about her, because Katie doesn't
- 40:13Speaker 1: even have a business yet, and Lala's business helped support
- 40:17Speaker 1: her child. Like, all of this is getting lost a
- 40:19Speaker 1: little bit. Do I think on all reality shows you
- 40:23Speaker 1: have off camera conversations where you talked shit about people, Yeah,
- 40:26Speaker 1: as they will talk shit in general. Do you think
- 40:29Speaker 1: Laala crossed a line by sharing this private conversation.
- 40:37Speaker 2: No, I don't, And that's just coming from someone that's
- 40:39Speaker 2: on a reality show that has had conversations that then
- 40:42Speaker 2: I was asked about and then I had to talk
- 40:44Speaker 2: about them. I mean, if you think about all the
- 40:47Speaker 2: conversations last year that revolved Shannon and things that she
- 40:51Speaker 2: told us offline, off you know, off camera, but then
- 40:54Speaker 2: you know the heart of really her story and what
- 40:57Speaker 2: was going on had to do with her relationship with John,
- 40:59Speaker 2: So then I did have to talk about it.
- 41:02Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like Laala feels like she had
- 41:04Speaker 2: these conversations and Katie told her these things and invested
- 41:08Speaker 2: this information with her, and she was truthful about how
- 41:11Speaker 2: she felt about Arianna, and then they pick up the
- 41:13Speaker 2: cameras and then she doesn't act that way.
- 41:16Speaker 1: So do you think Lala was extra ticked? Because Lala
- 41:20Speaker 1: was exposed at the finale about the things that she
- 41:24Speaker 1: was saying about Ariana that were really show related, not
- 41:27Speaker 1: personal about that, but like about their livelihood, and Katie
- 41:31Speaker 1: got off scott free, and so this was her way
- 41:34Speaker 1: of kind of sticking it to her.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Probably, I'm sure there were some of that too.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Yeah, she was like like, well, like, I shouldn't be
- 41:40Speaker 2: the only one getting this backlash. I'm not the only
- 41:42Speaker 2: one that felt this way. You did too, You're just
- 41:44Speaker 2: not saying it. I'm saying it.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Yeah, But and I normally always see Laala's you know,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I love Laala. She's a friend of mine. I love her.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I think she's well spoken most of the time. I
- 41:56Speaker 1: think she makes good points. I do think she crossed
- 41:59Speaker 1: a lot here. I wish you would have said, Katie,
- 42:04Speaker 1: now is your chance to say all the things you
- 42:07Speaker 1: said to me off camera about Ariana, because you got
- 42:11Speaker 1: me to a position where I was worked up. I
- 42:14Speaker 1: was on behalf of all of us speaking out and
- 42:19Speaker 1: then you never did it. So it makes me solely
- 42:21Speaker 1: look like the asshole. But she didn't say that. She
- 42:24Speaker 1: just fully out of the situation. And then you see
- 42:26Speaker 1: Katie's kind of like.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Shit, I did say that.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Yeah, like Katie doesn't say she didn't say it, but
- 42:35Speaker 1: then Katie does post on her Instagram. I'm someone who
- 42:38Speaker 1: has suffered from imposter syndrome for as long as I
- 42:41Speaker 1: have known myself, Hence why I was apprehensive about opening
- 42:45Speaker 1: the sandwich shop on my own. So when Ariana was
- 42:48Speaker 1: going through not only a world of hurt, but also
- 42:50Speaker 1: getting some amazing opportunities that changed a lot of things
- 42:54Speaker 1: during a pivotal time, I was extremely sensitive to what
- 42:57Speaker 1: she was going through, but also very supportive. Was also
- 43:00Speaker 1: dealing with the immense and security about what I could
- 43:03Speaker 1: take on and simply didn't want to put that on her.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I had an emotional response that didn't feel appropriate bringing
- 43:10Speaker 1: to her front door. So I went to where it
- 43:12Speaker 1: felt safe or where I thought it was safe until
- 43:16Speaker 1: I find the appropriate conversation to have with Ariana, which
- 43:20Speaker 1: of course I did, and we have had plenty since.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Well, this is a dig at La La.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Yeah, clear clearly.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I mean I think she says it well, it's very
- 43:31Speaker 2: articulate and it makes sense. She was saying like, I
- 43:34Speaker 2: wasn't comfortable going to Ariana. She had a lot on
- 43:36Speaker 2: her plate, so I vented to someone else. So I
- 43:38Speaker 2: thought I could trust Clearly I couldn't trust her. You know,
- 43:41Speaker 2: I don't know. I see both sides. I see Katie's viewpoints.
- 43:44Speaker 2: She thought she could trust La La. But then I understand,
- 43:47Speaker 2: you're on a show. I do think that when you
- 43:49Speaker 2: tell someone you're on a show with. I mean, were
- 43:50Speaker 2: there other people she could have gone to that aren't
- 43:52Speaker 2: on the same show.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Well, I think also what's being implied is that Katie
- 43:58Speaker 1: wasn't being real on camera.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Yes, and absolutely, And.
- 44:02Speaker 1: I think that is always something that bugs the rest
- 44:08Speaker 1: of the cast members when they are sharing their true
- 44:10Speaker 1: emotions on camera and somebody is not see I'm.
- 44:14Speaker 2: One of those that's bugged. I get bugged because I
- 44:17Speaker 2: say things on camera.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Yeah, do I think that everybody? I mean, I completely
- 44:22Speaker 1: get what Katie's saying. Also, like, I still love and
- 44:25Speaker 1: care about my friend Ariana, but in the moment, I
- 44:27Speaker 1: got upset by something and I vented to a friend.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Have I done that before? Yes? But nine times out
- 44:33Speaker 3: of tend it's something.
- 44:34Speaker 1: That I also am comfortable saying to their face, right,
- 44:39Speaker 1: Which is I get comfortable saying to their face. I'm
- 44:41Speaker 1: just prepping myself to feel comfortable enough to say it
- 44:44Speaker 1: to their face.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Right, And if you're telling someone that you're on a
- 44:47Speaker 2: cast with, I feel like, in my mind, I always think,
- 44:49Speaker 2: am I comfortable? Because there's the possibility that this comes
- 44:52Speaker 2: up later?
- 44:53Speaker 1: Yeah. So, but this is where we see the real divide,
- 44:57Speaker 1: And I wonder if that divide had started once Laala
- 45:01Speaker 1: and Sena became close, because clearly Sena and Katie do
- 45:05Speaker 1: not have that immense love for one another. But then
- 45:09Speaker 1: coming up in part two, we see that Ali and
- 45:11Speaker 1: Joe join the reunion and Sandoval knows some things but
- 45:16Speaker 1: is deciding to keep his mouth shut, and we see
- 45:18Speaker 1: Ariana and Laala get into it.
- 45:20Speaker 3: What does Sandoval?
- 45:21Speaker 1: No? No, no, But would you feel the same way.
- 45:26Speaker 1: If you were Katie and Ariana left to New York
- 45:29Speaker 1: for Broadway without notice.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I would.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I think Katie's frustration with Arianna is reasonable. I mean,
- 45:36Speaker 2: she probably feels like they're supposed to open this business together.
- 45:39Speaker 2: It's clearly much more difficult than they anticipated. Ariana is
- 45:42Speaker 2: running off with all these opportunities. I don't know about
- 45:45Speaker 2: the rent situation, Like they didn't really clarify that was
- 45:48Speaker 2: she not paying rent?
- 45:49Speaker 3: Was she paying rent?
- 45:50Speaker 2: No one really spoke up, So I don't know about that,
- 45:54Speaker 2: but I'm sure she I'm sure Katie was severely frustrated
- 45:58Speaker 2: in the moment, thinking she just took off on all
- 45:59Speaker 2: the opportunities and I'm here trying to figure this out,
- 46:02Speaker 2: left holding the bat right and I'm paying the rent,
- 46:05Speaker 2: and I'm trying to figure out this business, and you know,
- 46:07Speaker 2: she's nowhere around.
- 46:08Speaker 3: So I get it.
- 46:09Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure her frustration was probably more than
- 46:12Speaker 2: we even realize.
- 46:13Speaker 3: What is imposter syndrome, For example.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Like I'll be very self deprecating in a moment to
- 46:19Speaker 1: give the illusion that I'm okay with handling something, you
- 46:23Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's when you feel like you don't actually belong
- 46:26Speaker 2: where you are and yeah, oh, like you're.
- 46:28Speaker 3: An impostor in a certain Yeah.
- 46:31Speaker 1: So that's why if you're going to say, like, I
- 46:33Speaker 1: don't give a blah blah blah, most of the time,
- 46:35Speaker 1: you will give a little bit of a fat yeah.
- 46:37Speaker 1: But that's your impostor syndrome coming for I don't know.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Okay, So do you think that's why she has such
- 46:43Speaker 2: a stoic I always think of her as very stoic,
- 46:46Speaker 2: like a very stoic, hard personality, because she's suffering from
- 46:51Speaker 2: imposter syndrome.
- 46:52Speaker 3: I mean, it makes sense.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And she's also protect probably protecting herself and from years
- 46:56Speaker 1: of being in a dysfunctional relationship and on a television
- 46:59Speaker 1: show where everything you do gets picked apart. I think
- 47:03Speaker 1: you know that's what happens. But I do think it's
- 47:07Speaker 1: going to get even more heated as it continues. Let's
- 47:11Speaker 1: take a quick break and then go to the Valley
- 47:14Speaker 1: episode nine. We are back to talk about episode nine.
- 47:26Speaker 1: I don't really even know that there's that much we
- 47:29Speaker 1: really need to fully recap. We can just do this
- 47:32Speaker 1: in like a couple like, but.
- 47:33Speaker 3: You want to do bullet points, Okay, bullet points.
- 47:38Speaker 1: One. Jesse saying that he goes into every situation thinking
- 47:43Speaker 1: how can I manipulate this?
- 47:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't narcissism.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I was like, whoa, but I need to know if
- 47:50Speaker 1: Jesse got his beanie before or after the ayahuasca.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that beanie was killing me. I was like,
- 47:56Speaker 2: please take it off. I can't even take you seriously.
- 47:59Speaker 2: It's like talking about like deep meditation and how he's
- 48:01Speaker 2: a changed person. And then he tries to kiss Michelle
- 48:04Speaker 2: and she's clearly not having it. But I'm like, just
- 48:08Speaker 2: take the beanie off, Yeah, get it off.
- 48:12Speaker 1: They talk about Zach crying about not being invited to
- 48:15Speaker 1: Big Bear. Janet has her friends over to pack for
- 48:19Speaker 1: her baby moon, even though they're not invited on her
- 48:21Speaker 1: baby moon.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I find, Yeah, I don't know, but I thought the
- 48:25Speaker 2: one friend was amusing though, the spy.
- 48:28Speaker 1: And then when she calls Zack and he's like, you're
- 48:32Speaker 1: one friend with the pink Yeah, the pink boots.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Pink boots was not Pink boots was not rogue at all.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Pink boots was like so obvious.
- 48:41Speaker 1: But also then Janet like, let's talk for a second
- 48:44Speaker 1: about entitlement. You should not be entitled to kick people
- 48:49Speaker 1: off of a work trip, and like, why why is
- 48:54Speaker 1: Janet thinking she's casting this entire show and in charge
- 48:57Speaker 1: of food comes? And who goes like, did I need
- 49:00Speaker 1: Zach to be there? No? Not really if I'm being honest,
- 49:03Speaker 1: But I also didn't need a lot of other things
- 49:06Speaker 1: to happen on that trip. But like, it's not really
- 49:08Speaker 1: up to her. That baby moon was not about a
- 49:11Speaker 1: baby moon. You weren't even spending time with your significant other.
- 49:14Speaker 1: You're off on like a booie ride with all the girls.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Right, And also, I mean, let's just be honest, how
- 49:21Speaker 2: much more interesting would it have been with Kristin and Luke?
- 49:23Speaker 3: I mean, come on, Kristen's a mess.
- 49:26Speaker 1: We would have appreciated Kristin and Luke Zach. I think
- 49:29Speaker 1: Zach wasn't bummed because not because he wanted to be
- 49:33Speaker 1: there at the baby moon, but he's like, that's good
- 49:36Speaker 1: screener time.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I was like, oh, Zach, Zach's not getting the camera
- 49:42Speaker 2: time and he thought he was going to Does he
- 49:44Speaker 2: really want to go on a couple's baby moon?
- 49:47Speaker 3: No?
- 49:48Speaker 1: But he's like, I need every second to show off
- 49:51Speaker 1: my hair on the show, and I need it to
- 49:54Speaker 1: be in Big Bear. But then Kristin and Luke talking
- 49:57Speaker 1: about being at a crossroads in the group. Do they
- 50:00Speaker 1: move forward? Do they move away? They're not. Kristin's not
- 50:04Speaker 1: moving away. This is going to come back around, don't
- 50:07Speaker 1: you think?
- 50:08Speaker 3: Well it has to. I mean, come on, you have
- 50:10Speaker 3: to move forward. That's your job.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Do your job, move forward and quit letting others figure
- 50:18Speaker 1: out this situation. And for the like, just take notes,
- 50:21Speaker 1: Just jot down some notes so you get things right
- 50:24Speaker 1: when you explain them.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Yeah, get your note cards ready, Kristen, come on, Yeah,
- 50:29Speaker 2: have Louke caulled up Q cards in the back.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Yeah, write it like big.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Luc could just wear it on his T shirt like
- 50:37Speaker 1: the other slogans. Yeah, then they're at the Big Bear house.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Janet gives Jacks the T shirt of him drowning. Jesse
- 50:44Speaker 1: brings a suit case full of champagne. I do agree
- 50:47Speaker 1: with Jesse. When people say they have everything, they don't
- 50:49Speaker 1: always have everything.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Yeah, well, well stocked does not mean well stocked.
- 50:53Speaker 1: No, But then they still didn't have all the things
- 50:55Speaker 1: they needed for the beach. They didn't have beers. They
- 50:58Speaker 1: only had straight like tequila and vodka. Which did not
- 51:02Speaker 1: vode well for the entire group.
- 51:04Speaker 2: No, especially Jesse. He was a mess on that beach.
- 51:07Speaker 2: He was just like like out of control. He's like
- 51:10Speaker 2: jumping on the chairs and like trying to strangle out
- 51:14Speaker 2: what's Nia's husband's name, Danny, Danny, and like that he
- 51:19Speaker 2: smacked Michelle in the face.
- 51:22Speaker 3: I mean all of it.
- 51:23Speaker 1: I mean even before they even get to the beach
- 51:25Speaker 1: where Jane it's like you have to put twenty dollars
- 51:28Speaker 1: in a jar every time you make a mistake yourself
- 51:30Speaker 1: as the main character. Like stop, you're talking about a
- 51:34Speaker 1: main character on the show. Of course you're going to
- 51:36Speaker 1: talk about it, and like I would say it just
- 51:39Speaker 1: so I could get somebody else rich at this point,
- 51:41Speaker 1: Like you know, you're going to talk about Kristin not
- 51:44Speaker 1: being there, right, Why even say that? I hate when
- 51:47Speaker 1: people do that.
- 51:48Speaker 2: I don't know, but you know, Jan, I still am
- 51:50Speaker 2: confused how Jane manages to kind of just slip by
- 51:54Speaker 2: even though she really is the one who is the
- 51:57Speaker 2: heart of all the gossip.
- 51:58Speaker 3: It's just Kristen is just the bad messenger.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Kristen's a bad messenger, and we see in her couple's
- 52:05Speaker 1: therapy counseling. She doesn't really want to talk about the
- 52:08Speaker 1: hard things.
- 52:09Speaker 3: I think she is.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I know this is gonna sound weird. I think she's
- 52:14Speaker 1: actually a people pleaser, but when it comes to people pleasing,
- 52:17Speaker 1: it's she's trying to people please, like production or whatever
- 52:20Speaker 1: it is, to stay on the show. So she says
- 52:23Speaker 1: shit she doesn't really want to say, but she says
- 52:25Speaker 1: it anyway, and then she gets herself into trouble and
- 52:29Speaker 1: then she doesn't know how to talk away out of
- 52:31Speaker 1: it because she doesn't know how to like justify it
- 52:34Speaker 1: because she does makes sense naturally want to do it.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Also, can we just talk about how the couple's therapy,
- 52:40Speaker 2: Like these two I like Luke and I like Chris,
- 52:43Speaker 2: and I actually even kind of like them together. But
- 52:45Speaker 2: the fact that they just have fundamental differences in just
- 52:49Speaker 2: basic relationship things.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Like where you're going to live, the financial.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Financial things like you guys are talking about bringing a
- 52:57Speaker 2: child into the world and he's adamant about not living
- 53:00Speaker 2: in la and you're adamant that you would never live
- 53:04Speaker 2: in the backwoods of Colorado.
- 53:05Speaker 3: So how is this going to work? Explain that to me.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I hate to be the one to give the cliff notes.
- 53:11Speaker 3: But it's not it is not exactly.
- 53:15Speaker 1: This is without any of these conversations, it is impossible
- 53:19Speaker 1: to move forward, and having to have these conversations once
- 53:21Speaker 1: you're already pregnant is even a worse plan.
- 53:25Speaker 3: So okay, and what does what does Luke do for
- 53:27Speaker 3: a living? Do we know? Did I miss that somewhere?
- 53:29Speaker 1: I don't.
- 53:30Speaker 3: I mean, I know he has like a farm or something,
- 53:32Speaker 3: but he's not on his farm, so I don't know.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I know he likes to fish and that makes him happy.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I know they met at a wedding.
- 53:37Speaker 3: But financially does he does he miss the valley?
- 53:41Speaker 1: Okay? Okay, well I think okay, I mean, if you
- 53:45Speaker 1: can leave for a full summer, yeah, it's probably not
- 53:49Speaker 1: a regular nine to five or that you got back
- 53:51Speaker 1: at home. Right, But then we're at the beach. The
- 53:56Speaker 1: beach is a shit show. I wouldn't want to be there.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Nobody would want to be there. Brittany watches videos of
- 54:01Speaker 1: Cruse at swim class where he's crying and then Jack
- 54:04Speaker 1: gets upset and like kind of loses it. It's sad
- 54:07Speaker 1: to watch.
- 54:08Speaker 3: That's hard to watch.
- 54:09Speaker 2: It's that he's so aggressive, Like I even I can
- 54:13Speaker 2: even give him the benefit of the doubt and understand
- 54:16Speaker 2: his point where it's like, hey, maybe this isn't the
- 54:18Speaker 2: best time.
- 54:18Speaker 3: We're at the beach trying to have fun.
- 54:20Speaker 2: You're watching videos of the kid crying at a swim
- 54:22Speaker 2: class that he clearly doesn't want to be at. But
- 54:25Speaker 2: like the grabbing the phone and the yelling at her,
- 54:28Speaker 2: it's like, can you just take it down a notch?
- 54:30Speaker 1: Does he not realize that his screaming at her is
- 54:33Speaker 1: worse than actually hearing the kid crying.
- 54:35Speaker 2: No, that's where he's so unaware. Jack's I just I
- 54:39Speaker 2: can't with him.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Sometimes I could have done without Michelle and Jesse having
- 54:44Speaker 1: the physical like play fight. We knew that wasn't going
- 54:47Speaker 1: to end well. Then the guys are in the car
- 54:50Speaker 1: and Danny asked Jesse if they're okay because the way
- 54:53Speaker 1: Jesse was playing with him on the beach was aggressive.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Jesse apologizes if Danny was offended, which we all know
- 54:59Speaker 1: is not an apology, right, And then I'm still getting
- 55:06Speaker 1: sad for Brittany in the car ride home because Britney's
- 55:09Speaker 1: scared to say she's carsick. Clearly Brittany is not drunk
- 55:12Speaker 1: at this time. She's scared to admit you know that
- 55:16Speaker 1: she's not feeling well, And so we see when they
- 55:19Speaker 1: go in the house like tensions are high. Things are already
- 55:22Speaker 1: going on. But then Jax pulls Michelle aside to get
- 55:26Speaker 1: the Kristin information off his chest. He says, he tells
- 55:30Speaker 1: her a few months ago, after a girls' night at
- 55:33Speaker 1: his house, he came home and Kristin told him that
- 55:36Speaker 1: Michelle was texting a guy on the side. Then this
- 55:39Speaker 1: is not even Jack's trying to spread this information.
- 55:42Speaker 2: Can I let me ask a question to clarify this
- 55:45Speaker 2: girl's night that he's referring to. This wasn't something that
- 55:47Speaker 2: was on camera. Correct, No, off camera, So this is
- 55:51Speaker 2: something that happened before they started filming.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Correct in my interpretation, right, That's the way I interpret
- 55:57Speaker 3: it as well.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Okay, But then Michelle's response to this is like it's
- 56:06Speaker 1: in pieces. But she's like, I was texting a celebrity.
- 56:13Speaker 1: And then she's like, He's like, well, Michelle, Michelle, Kristen
- 56:18Speaker 1: did say that you were like sending photos and then
- 56:20Speaker 1: she's like, I was sending sexy pictures. I'm like, what
- 56:26Speaker 1: is happening. It feels like right out of like the
- 56:29Speaker 1: ending of the Jinx, only Michelle is just out here
- 56:32Speaker 1: admitting things on camera for in her arms.
- 56:34Speaker 2: Okay, here was my question though, because the way it
- 56:36Speaker 2: was so choppy. Was it choppy because that's just her personality,
- 56:40Speaker 2: She has a choppy personality, or was it choppy like
- 56:43Speaker 2: that because they edited it that way. That's what I
- 56:45Speaker 2: haven't understand.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I'm hoping for her into editing, but I think that's
- 56:50Speaker 1: just how she talks.
- 56:52Speaker 2: So it isn't just choppy editing. It's just her personality.
- 56:57Speaker 2: It's just her delivery. And I don't wonder she is
- 57:01Speaker 2: right longer with the celebrity Now, I see why she
- 57:04Speaker 2: sends nude photos and not has actual conversations.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Make sure she's like to just look.
- 57:14Speaker 1: But I do think we are going to get more
- 57:17Speaker 1: into this, and clearly we see in next week's episode
- 57:21Speaker 1: the demise of multiple relationships from Brittany coming out because
- 57:25Speaker 1: she's hearing Jack's talk shit about her to Jesse admitting
- 57:28Speaker 1: that he thinks it's actually over with Michelle, no shit
- 57:30Speaker 1: sherlock all the things.
- 57:33Speaker 2: But and then I hope the actual celebrity name comes
- 57:37Speaker 2: out at some point so that Teddy can sleep at
- 57:39Speaker 2: night now, just.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Do not gonna happen?
- 57:42Speaker 1: Should I slide into Michelle's DMS and be like, I
- 57:44Speaker 1: promise they'll never tell, but I am on this little
- 57:47Speaker 1: podcast that'll just between us.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Yes, and tell her to make sure she doesn't listen
- 57:52Speaker 3: to it.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you guys, thanks for tuning in for
- 57:57Speaker 1: another episode of Popping Off. We'll be back with you
- 57:59Speaker 1: next week.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Wait, thanks for listening.
- 58:03Speaker 2: M mm hmmmm
