- 0:04Good morning, Good morning family God, welcome back to the morning Devo.
- 0:07It's a new week, a new session, a new morning, a new
- 0:11day, brand new day. Amen. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not
- 0:14promised. Amen. But I always say that Jesus did it even a better
- 0:18thing than promising us tomorrow. He promises us eternal life. And it's in
- 0:23his word, in his Gospel, in the Good News of the Lord Jesus
- 0:27Christ. If you were approached by someone right now today, right and asks
- 0:33you what is the gospel? Would you know how to explain the gospel?
- 0:38Do you know how to really tell somebody about what the gospel is or who
- 0:45the gospel is about. Amen. That's no pressure, Amen, just think
- 0:49about it, because one day it's gonna be a time where you're gonna need
- 0:54to really share the gospel with somebody. I mean, after all, we're
- 0:58commissioned to do that. We have Holy Spirit God that will give us the
- 1:02words to say every single time that it needs to be said. Just test
- 1:07the mind audio, make sure that's good. And it's exciting to me that
- 1:11God gives us the tools, he gives us the words, He gives us
- 1:15the Holy Spirit, God who's in us working through us to speak on behalf
- 1:23of the Lord Jesus in a time where you're questioned about the gospel. So
- 1:27I'm calling this one on the morning devo explaining the gospel. It's going to
- 1:32be light. Can't be too heavy on these morning DeVos. Amen. First
- 1:34of all, for me, it's first thing in the morning right now.
- 1:38And for you a man, if you want to dive deeper, I always
- 1:42suggest you go into the scriptures for yourself. Amen. I'm here to help
- 1:48however I can, but I try to keep these morning DeVos like devoting some
- 1:52time very first part of the day. If you're watching live with me,
- 1:57you know what that means. But if you're not watching live and you listening
- 2:00to the replay, of watching the replay, Amen, My suggestions always to
- 2:04read the scriptures. Amen. If I go into a chapter, we're gonna
- 2:07be in Ephesians chapter number two, verses eight and nine. Ephesians chapter two,
- 2:12verses eight and nine. My suggestions shall always read the whole chapter,
- 2:15Amen, So that way you could get the full idea of read before where
- 2:21we're at and after where we're at. So, in other words, just
- 2:23read the whole chapter. You'll get a better idea. God is good.
- 2:25God bless you as well. Amen. Welcome back to the morning Devo.
- 2:30So explaining the gospel. And of course, when you explain the gospel,
- 2:37your default, just like my default, will always be John chapter three,
- 2:43verse number sixteen. And we're gonna read that on first before we go into
- 2:46Ephesians chapter number two, verses eight and nine, so we could put it
- 2:51all together. Kevin, God bless you man. Welcome back to the morning
- 2:53Devo's good to see my friend and my brother. God bless you so explaining
- 2:58the gospel here in the morning dev Well, if you have any questions,
- 3:00comments, concerns, or any pray requests, don't hesitate to leave it on
- 3:05the live chat. That's what we're here for. Amen. God is good.
- 3:08He will allow us to exchange ideas, communicate with one another with one
- 3:13another. Amen, And that way we could get this gospel going according to
- 3:16how He wants us to deliver the gospel. You know, when somebody asks
- 3:22you the question about the gospel, they're asking or for answers. They're looking
- 3:27for answers to questions, life questions. So it's important that we know something
- 3:32about something. Amen. Don't think that when someone asks you about the gospel.
- 3:40A lot of times they're not being like arrogant, they're not being like
- 3:46disrespectful any things. A lot of times people really want answers, you know
- 3:50what I mean, They really want answers to these questions. Amen, because
- 3:53they're looking for life answers. Amen. Well, God's love and man sin
- 4:01to me, that is the gospel. And I explained that later we're gonna
- 4:05be Inphesians chapter two, verses eight and nine. Amen. So let's go
- 4:11for it. If I don't see your name amen on the live on my
- 4:15end, Amen, there's a button in the details that if you press it,
- 4:20it gets permission for Facebook to reveal your name. So if I'm just
- 4:27seeing Facebook user, Amen, there's no direspect. I just can't see your
- 4:30name. Amen. So that's why I'll just say, you know, reach
- 4:33you, not by name because I can't see the name. Just in case.
- 4:38It is the best place to start in the Bible. Amen. Yeah,
- 4:42John, the Book of John. A lot of people recommend the Book
- 4:45of John to start reading that verse. It explains the love of God.
- 4:48Amen. And in the Book of John, of course, we have the
- 4:51famous chapter chapter three, verse sixteen. Well, I'm gonna read it out
- 4:56an amplified amen when we start it all up right. So, Father God,
- 5:00thank you so much. I thank you today that you are explaining the
- 5:03Gospel to us through your word, through your disciples, and through by way
- 5:10of your Holy Spirit. I pray Lod God, that you will reveal the
- 5:13answer to every question that is needed to be answered today for every single individual,
- 5:17whatever that question is, LogD, you know an answer to those questions
- 5:23personally, individually, collectively, corporately. You know all the answers because you
- 5:28are the answer. You are the yes and the amen in our lives and
- 5:32the lives of the whole entire world. Whosoever calls on the name of the
- 5:36Lord your word says, will be saved. I thank you, Lord God,
- 5:40for your love, your grace, your mercy, the power to believe,
- 5:45in the power to pray. I pray Lord God, that you will
- 5:47continue giving us a hedge of protection in this world that is full of evil,
- 5:51deception that is being rued by demonic influence, that is being rued by
- 5:58the devil himself, the system of this world or God, guide us guard
- 6:00us through. Let us go with kindness to one another, speak in kindness
- 6:05to one another. And reach people with this gospel message by way of your
- 6:10anointed Holy Spirit that's in us and working through us. I pray, Lord
- 6:14God, that you will be able to explain this gospel this morning today,
- 6:19so we can understand and be more confident in explaining the gospel to somebody else
- 6:25today, that we will be continually commissioned to go and make disciples and baptizing
- 6:30people. In the name of the Father's Son and the Holy Spirit. So
- 6:34I speak life, I thank you for my family, my friends. Amen.
- 6:39Thank you for my granddaughter that is free from pneumonia in Jesus' name,
- 6:43and for my grandchildren, my son and his soon to be wife for the
- 6:46time it is recording. Amen, for my family individually, my whole entire
- 6:51bloodline. Amen. I pray hope, faith, love. I pray the
- 6:57gospel message will penetrate the hearts of every single person and that's connected and that
- 7:00will connect later. And I's connected now, them and their families represented on
- 7:05the other side of the screen and on the other side of Mike. In
- 7:08the powerful name of Jesus, we give you thanks, glory and honor and
- 7:12Jesus name. Amen and Amen. Kevin says there are two streams. One
- 7:16on one stream, I'm a Facebook user. On this one, my name
- 7:21is revealed, Amen, so you might you might be on my Bible Studies
- 7:27page and on my personal page. It's on the Cellar Radio page, streaming
- 7:31all over. So I don't know. That's a good question. I don't
- 7:34know if you could reveal your name on all the streams. If not,
- 7:41thank you for seeing that your name shows up on one part and your name
- 7:45does and another. Okay, Kevin, thank you so much for that.
- 7:47As a matter of fact, that's a question that I should be able to
- 7:50answer if you could see your name on all the streams. So thank you.
- 7:55So let's take a minute to share this out. After we share this
- 7:58out, when we come back on the other side of it, this minute,
- 8:00we'll be explaining the gospel through the Word. I'll be right back amen.
- 9:18Amen, we're back. So let's see what the Word has for us
- 9:22today. Amen. And like I promise, I'm going to read John chapter
- 9:24three, verse sixteen and go a little bit further, amen, because I
- 9:28know a lot of people know John three sixteen, but I'm going to read
- 9:31it, excuse me, out of the amplified version. So where we could
- 9:37expand the word a little bit so you can see the in betweens and what
- 9:39the word is expressing. That's why I like the amplified Bible. It gives
- 9:45you more of an expression of what the word means. Amen in the word
- 9:48is saying, which is important to me. The expression of the word.
- 9:52So as I know the Bible, and when I narrow it down to kind
- 9:56of like a definition of explaining the Gospel, I see God's love and man's
- 10:01sin, and there's a separation between God's loves, God's love and man's sin.
- 10:07And there's a bridge that needs to be built to make things back right
- 10:11with the Lord Jesus, through Jesus, that we make it right. Thank
- 10:15you for sharing, Kevin Man. I'm always grateful that you share it towards
- 10:20your ministry. Amen, praise God. So let's do this. Before we
- 10:26get into this, let me set up the screen so that way when I
- 10:30get into it, it'll be ready. Is another way you could listen when
- 10:33we're live doing the morning Devo. You go to Soul Winners with a Zeta
- 10:37Org. That's the celebrated on Network, the Lehigh Valley's number one urban gospel
- 10:41music station online since two thousand and eight. Can you believe it? Time
- 10:45is just flying by, and we'll still here. All glory to God.
- 10:48And basically all you got is press play and we're there as well, streaming
- 10:52live Amen. Glory to God for that, and you could keep it on
- 10:54after the morning devo. It streams two four seven. There's music you might
- 10:58like, some of the that I have on there anytime of the day.
- 11:01Just go there to get some inspiration and to get some good music into your
- 11:05system. Right. You don't have to worry about twerk music or cursing or
- 11:09anything like that. None of that's all family friendly music, Christian gospel,
- 11:16urban music. AMEN is really designed to reach the hearts of the people from
- 11:22that I'm familiar with where I came from, Amen, and everybody else will
- 11:26get something in between that too. It's not just catered to my demographic.
- 11:30It's catered to those who are willing to listen to some good, good music.
- 11:35Amen. So all glory to God. And you're invited anytime to go
- 11:39ahead and listen to that music station. All right, So let me get
- 11:43to John chapter three, verse number sixteen. I'm gonna be a little bit
- 11:48further than that, but we'll start from John chapter three, verse sixteen.
- 11:54And this is huge because this is what the world doesn't understand. This is
- 12:00what I didn't understand before Jesus saved my life, rescued me, and changed
- 12:05my mind and changed my heart. Amen. John three, verse number sixteen
- 12:11very popular. Listen to what it says in the amplified version. For God
- 12:15so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that he even gave his one and
- 12:24only begotten son, that whoever believes and trust in Him as Savior shall not
- 12:31perish, but have eternal life. So the first part we see right here
- 12:37the gospel message. When you want to explain the gospel message, it's a
- 12:41it's a love thing. God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that
- 12:48he even gave his one and only begotten son, Jesus. That whoever whoever
- 12:56this whole thing about, oh, it is only for the Catholics, for
- 13:00the Pentecostal, is only for the Baptists. I used to really think that,
- 13:03I said, Okay, I know the story about Jesus, but he
- 13:07didn't die for me. He died for them. And man, you ever
- 13:11had that thought before Christ, I had all these weird thoughts. I think
- 13:16about it weird now because I'm born again this is two thousand and one.
- 13:20But I was being honest with myself. I was like, yeah, that
- 13:24message and that person Jesus, he ain't for me. He died for them,
- 13:28not for me. I could never make the connection in my brain,
- 13:33and I think in the world today they can't. It's just too good.
- 13:37They can't make the connection for themselves either. I mean, do you blame
- 13:41people for not making the connection and making it seem that it's only for everybody
- 13:46else accept them. I was at that place, honestly, I really thought
- 13:52that this gospel was not for me. I thought it was for them,
- 13:56for the other people, the goodie two shoes I used to call them.
- 13:58All Right, okay, now you see that right that whoever believes and trust
- 14:03in him Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life. And this is where
- 14:13people stop and they don't keep on going. That's why my suggestion is what
- 14:16ladies and gentlemen read the whole chapter, verse seventeen, and this is all
- 14:22and red. It's meaning that Jesus is saying this, for God did not
- 14:28send the sun into the world, and this is what people think to judge
- 14:33and condemn the world. All Jesus came to judge and condemn us. Remember
- 14:39heard somebody say that. I used to say that before I got saved.
- 14:43But God did not send the Sun into the world to judge and condemn the
- 14:46world, that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world. But
- 14:54that the world might be saved through Him, not saved through through Muhammad,
- 15:01not saved through Buddha, not saved through Joseph Smith, not saved through mister
- 15:09Russell, No saved through him. Jesus, the Christ, the Lord,
- 15:16very exclusive. Amen. So when you explain the gospel, inevitably you're gonna
- 15:24go through Jesus to explain the gospel. There's no other way to explain this
- 15:28gospel. It's good news. Now there's other gospels out there, and I'm
- 15:31trying to communicate that with some friends and people who see Jesus in a different
- 15:37light. It's a different gospel going on around there in the world. Amen.
- 15:43A lot of different gospels, but this is the gospel that's found in
- 15:46the Holy Scriptures, though inspired word of God. Amen. And I bet
- 15:54my life on it, not bet like in gambling, but I put my
- 15:56life in these scriptures. Amen, be true. And just because I believe
- 16:02something is true doesn't make it true. What makes something true is where the
- 16:06evident evidence of it leads. Amen. And the evidence of the scriptures leads
- 16:11to this Lord, this Savior, this Jesus, this Christ, this Messiah.
- 16:15Amen, that he's the savior of the world. Think about it.
- 16:22Explaining the gospel, all right, So that's always foundational, at least for
- 16:26me. What does the gospel mean? Sam Well, God soul loved the
- 16:30world that he gave. It's only begond son that whoever believes and puts their
- 16:33trust in Him, and puts their faith in Him, shall not perish,
- 16:37but have eternal life. A great foundational springboard to get into this conversation,
- 16:44and people want answers to a lot of questions. Amen, that don't put
- 16:48pressure on yourself. Though. We're not here to convince anybody, nor do
- 16:53we have the power to convince anybody that this Jesus is the savior. Amen,
- 17:00the God Man, because that's the work of the Holy Ghost, the
- 17:03Holy Spirit, God who's in us. He the Holy Spirit will do the
- 17:07convincing and the convicting. Amen. You ever met a person that wants to
- 17:11argue about the gospel Jesus not being God. They want to argue and argue
- 17:15and argue. I learned from the late Great Rabbit Zach Riots that people want
- 17:21to argue, they want to throw dirt, and then you throw dirt back
- 17:23at them, you'll just start losing ground. And He's to always say,
- 17:27when you lose ground, you're going to find your feet firmly in mid air.
- 17:34We're going to be your feet firmly found in mid air nowhere, Amen,
- 17:40So no pressure on you, no pressure on me. If there's people
- 17:42who want to debate the scriptures, the professional people that call apolog the apologists,
- 17:48not like you're apologizing, but they know how to contend for the faith.
- 17:52So if somebody wants to go in that lane, I always recommend the
- 17:55people that I know that are professionals at it. Amen, say they could
- 17:59go for in that way. A lot of people want to debate. Y'all
- 18:03see her, God bless you, greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
- 18:07Here evangelists, you're seeing Hanef from Pakistan. Welcome you see it from Pakistan.
- 18:11God bless you, and welcome to the morning. DeVos. Good to
- 18:15see. So let me get this ready on the screen. To that way,
- 18:18we could go ahead and see what the Word is saying here for those
- 18:23who are just listening, No worries, no problem. I'm gonna read a
- 18:26word for word explaining the Gospel on the morning DEVO today. Amen. And
- 18:33the scripture that we're gonna be in as Ephesians chapter number two, verses eight
- 18:37and nine, the Bible says, for it is by grace we're explaining the
- 18:42gospel right, and this is what it is. It is by grace that's
- 18:48God's remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ, who's drawing people to the
- 18:56Lord, God's grace by way of his spirit. That you have been saved,
- 19:04actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life through faith. One am I
- 19:12saved from sam You're saved from the wrath of God, the wrath of God,
- 19:18because of the grace of God. You're saved. You're actually delivered from
- 19:22judgment and given eternal life, eternal life, forever life through faith. And
- 19:30this salvation is not of yourselves, not through your own effort. Nothing we
- 19:38could do, ladies and gentlemen, to get this salvation. We can't set
- 19:44this up for ourselves. We can't do x y Z, we can't get
- 19:48into a kind of religion that makes us right with God. None of that.
- 19:52It's by grace. We're saved through faith. And this salvation is not
- 19:56of yourselves, not through your own effort, but it is the undeserved gracious
- 20:03gift of God, not as a result of your works nor your attempts to
- 20:08keep the law. So that no one, no one, me, you,
- 20:14no one will be able to boast or take credit in any way for
- 20:22his salvation. You explaining the gospel, make sure you know that it's not
- 20:27about you, It's not about me. It's not what we could do for
- 20:30God. Is what God did for us. It's not about what we need
- 20:33to do to gain favor with God. It's all about what God did to
- 20:38give us this grace and this salvation. It's not that we find God,
- 20:44is that God found us. We were lost. God was never lost.
- 20:48It's not that we love Jesus, is that Jesus loved us first and demonstrated
- 20:52his own love that even while we were sinners and backslidders and haters of God,
- 20:56He's still on top despite it all, He still died for us.
- 21:03This is next level. This is the gospel. Amen explaining the gospel means
- 21:07that we humble ourselves and we make sure we let everybody we know let them
- 21:12know. Listen, I didn't do this on my own. This is a
- 21:17remarkable compassion and favor from Christ. This remarkable grace drew me and drew you.
- 21:27If you're saved to Christ, the kindness of God led me to repent.
- 21:33It wasn't the shouting, the arguing, the point thing, the judgment,
- 21:37none of that. Those people that are calling everybody out and sending everybody
- 21:42to a hell that don't belong to them, but they're sending people to a
- 21:47place where they don't even belong themselves, or they don't even have the right
- 21:51to put people in. Those people, those preachers like that fire and brimstone
- 21:56and people are going to L've never seen maybe you have, but I've never
- 22:02seen anybody come to the feet of Jesus through those type of ministries. Aymen,
- 22:07through judgment. As a matter of fact, Jesus himself we read it.
- 22:11For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and to
- 22:17condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. So
- 22:22you hear somebody out there shouting you're going to hell for sin. They're not
- 22:27preaching the gospel. They're preaching the result of sin, and sin itself is
- 22:36not demonstrating God's love. People won't know they need salvation until they understand what
- 22:41God did to free us from sin. So if you start with sin,
- 22:48you're and in death. But if you don't explain the gospel, people are
- 22:52gonna think, oh, I'm dead because I'm in sin, but they don't
- 22:56know the good news about the Lord, how God himself took care of the
- 23:00sin debt, that we no longer have to live in sin, but we
- 23:03could live in eternal life with Him with Jesus because of what he did,
- 23:11not about anything we did. It's all about what the Lord did. Right
- 23:15the morning, sister Joy and I see you. Good morning, Welcome back
- 23:18to the morning, Devo. Good morning. So when you explain the gospel,
- 23:22please you could start the foundation is John three sixteen. In my opinion,
- 23:27I believe John three sixteen shares and explains the gospel foundational right. And
- 23:33as a matter of fact, you could take John chapter three to make it
- 23:37even easier on yourself. When you're explaining the gospel, you'll be like I'm
- 23:41glad you asked me to explain the gospel to you. Let's go to John
- 23:45chapter three and literally, ladies and gentlemen, read the whole chapter. I
- 23:49promise you you'll be like amazed at how God's work can transform a heart,
- 23:56can transform a mind. Amen, just by reading the scriptures through experience.
- 24:03I'm telling you through experience. I used to bring teenagers to my home and
- 24:08we used to do I think it was on Thursdays. I want to say
- 24:11it was Thursdays. I used to go to my basement. It started with
- 24:15like it started. It started with a lot of teens right off the back,
- 24:19just because I was I knew a lot of teens. And I used
- 24:23to you know, we used to have something to eat, pray and get
- 24:27into a word a Bible study. Right. One day, this is I'm
- 24:32not even exaggerating. One day I heard the Lord tell me, listen,
- 24:36I don't want you to do a Bible study today. I just want you
- 24:37to read my word. And I was like, oh, just reading the
- 24:41Word in front of a bunch of teenagers, that's not going to get their
- 24:44attention. There has to be some kind of hook, you know. There
- 24:47has to be something you know that they got to be involved in and holy
- 24:49spirit. Guy said, just read my word. So I said, okay,
- 24:55Lord, this is where you have to trust God. Right, So
- 24:56I just opened the Book of Romans, started from chapter one, and I
- 25:02said, listen, we're not going to do a Bible study today. We're
- 25:06going to just read the Word. And you could see people like like oh
- 25:10man, like, we're not going to get the illustrations. I gonna do
- 25:12role playing. We're not going to, you know, get the questions and
- 25:15answers. And I promise you just reading the Book of Romans, they were
- 25:22reading word. I was, you know, everyone had to read something out
- 25:26of the Book of Romans. And I saw deliverance. Teens were crying to
- 25:30begin delivered from things, saved, repenting, giving it life, holy to
- 25:36God, giving it like oh man, just by reading the Word. That's
- 25:41part of the power of God's Word. The Word of God transforms us,
- 25:45renews us, restore us, restores us, gets us right back right with
- 25:51God. The gospel when you explain it, you're really just reading the Word.
- 25:59Use testimony, your own testimony too when you're explaining the gospel. But
- 26:03if you want the foundation, just go to John chapter three, read the
- 26:07whole thing, or you could go to the famous chapter, I mean the
- 26:11famous verse John chapter three, verse sixteen. You can't miss the first of
- 26:17all, is the Lord speaking, Amen, and he's telling us what he
- 26:21did for this world for us, Amen, that what he did allowed us
- 26:26to be saved. It's a decision to make, that we have to make.
- 26:32That. I'm so glad that I made. I decided to put my
- 26:36whole faith and trust in Jesus, not into another God, not into an
- 26:41idol, not into a minister or a ministry, Not into myself. Amen.
- 26:45I was trusting myself way too long at that point, Amen. And
- 26:48I was relying on myself way too much at that point until one day I
- 26:52called on God to change my life. Literally, That's what my whole prayer
- 26:57was. I was drunken high when I made that prayer way back in two
- 27:00thousand and one. I said, I'm tired of this gospel that everybody's trying
- 27:07to explain to me that I'm not understanding. I need. I know they're
- 27:11changed. I was like, God, want you come and change me?
- 27:14What about me? Is this about favoritism? And God has no favorites.
- 27:18I just didn't know all of that, I just was being honest with this
- 27:21God that I didn't trust in, that I didn't have faith in, that
- 27:23I didn't really believe in. So I said, listen, I don't have
- 27:26nothing to lose here. First of all, I was shouting out at my
- 27:30studio. My oldest brother was in the next room going through something himself with
- 27:36his children at the time. So I was like, I ain't got to
- 27:37learn to lose. I'm gonna call upon this God to change my life.
- 27:42And I'm so glad I did that, because guess what, ladies and gentlemen,
- 27:45he answered that prayer. He showed up in my life, literally showed
- 27:52up in my life and changed my life. Then when I started reading the
- 27:56scriptures afterward, I realized what I did. I did what the scripture says
- 28:02to do. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- 28:06I didn't know that scripture. Amen, I've seen it later on after I
- 28:10was saved born again, Because then when you're born again, you got to
- 28:14read the Word to stay in a good place with the Lord. To understand
- 28:18what you're explaining, you need to read about study what you're trying to explain.
- 28:22So when it comes to explain to the Gospel. We got heat I
- 28:26call it the sauce Amen. And we got a foundational scripture. Amen.
- 28:32And we have scriptures all through the New Testament. We could even use old
- 28:36Covenant scriptures, a book of Isaiah that prophesies the coming Messiah. You could
- 28:41use Genesis because in Genesis the Gospels. In Genesis in chapter three, it
- 28:48was a need for a redemption. It was a need for a redeemer.
- 28:52The fall of men fell, and there was a need for somebody to make
- 28:56things back right. And I created the need for the Messiah, Jesus,
- 29:00the Christ, the Anointed Sun, the only begotten Son. And Ephesians chapter
- 29:04two, verses eight and nine. We saw it right. We see the
- 29:07grace of God, the mercy of God. We see that we're saved.
- 29:12We're delivered from judgment of God, and God gives us eternal life. Without
- 29:19God saving us, we are still bound to sin, and sin equals death.
- 29:27And it's all because Jesus did it for us. And then we have
- 29:33faith and trust in Him. And this salvation, this explanation of the Gospel.
- 29:40Amen. This salvation is not is not of ourselves, not through our
- 29:48own effort. So take the pressure off yourself. Listen. I want everybody
- 29:52to be saved, trust me. I want my whole family to be saved.
- 29:56But I can't pull that pressure on me. All I could do is
- 29:59lift my life life out loud in front of people and represent the Kingdom well,
- 30:03represent the Lord well. Amen. And wherever I miss or whatever I
- 30:07make mistakes at that's not on God. That's on me. And it's because
- 30:12it's not about my efforts that people come to the Lord. It's about what
- 30:17God has already done. And people decide whether or not they believe in what
- 30:21God did for them or not. No pressure. Like I said, people
- 30:26want to debate, I'll send them to the ministries that I know that are
- 30:30professionals at debating about the Word of God, the Gospel, all of that,
- 30:34and they're good Amen. And sometimes intellectuals they don't really care about these
- 30:41type of sessions. They want proof evidence, they want scriptures on it,
- 30:45they want historical evidence, they want archaeological findings, they want to make sure
- 30:51that the scriptures are reliable. And you know, whatever their thing is about
- 30:56the creeds or what happened in Nicea, ever Constantine and all that, they
- 31:02want explanations. They want answers, and I know people that go that route,
- 31:07and they give you the answers, and at that point it's up to
- 31:08them to decide whether that's true or not for them in your own life.
- 31:14Like I said earlier, I didn't think this message was for me. I
- 31:17didn't think the Gospel was for me. I always always thought it was for
- 31:21the people who were in church or were they were part of religion. You
- 31:26would come to me with the Gospel. I said, no, I'm not
- 31:29into religion. When people used to look at me strange, just like now
- 31:32I understand that I look at people strange when they call me religious. I
- 31:34was like, I'm not talking about religion at all. I'm talking about a
- 31:38relationship with Christ, Jesus the Savior. What religion is that? Amen?
- 31:45Oh then you said you were a Christian. No, you call me a
- 31:48Christian. That Christians would call Christians first by people who called us Christians.
- 31:52Jesus never called us Christians. God never called us Christians. Amen, But
- 31:57that's what people called us. We follow Christ. So if you want to
- 32:02call Christianity religion, you can. And unfortunately, the American Gospel, the
- 32:08American Christianity is not, in my opinion, is not a good representation of
- 32:15this gospel that we've read in Ephesians chapter number two, Versus eight and nine.
- 32:20Not a good look at all in my opinion, and men so bottom
- 32:24line, the safest way to explain the gospel is to read the word.
- 32:30You will never fail, you will never falter. Go to John chapter three.
- 32:34You can read the whole chapter, or you can start from verse sixteen
- 32:37and keep on reading, and you will see that the word of God when
- 32:42you speak it out, when you speak it over someone, over yourself,
- 32:46over someone, they'll get the explanation of the gospel by way of Holy Spirit
- 32:51God, by way of his word. It's undeserved. Grace is undeserved.
- 32:55Amen. We can't do nothing for this salvation a gift of God. It's
- 33:01a gift He gave it to us. Amen, not as a result of
- 33:06your works or my works, nor your attempts or my attempts to keep the
- 33:09law. My goodness, people are still trying to keep the law. Are
- 33:14you kidding me? You break one, you break them all. Jesus is
- 33:17the only one that did not break the law. So that no one will
- 33:22be able to boast or take credit in any way, for his salvation belongs
- 33:29to Jesus. Amen, So real quick in the nutshell, you can explain
- 33:32the gospel through Ephesians chapter number two, Verses eight and nine and John chapter
- 33:39three, verse sixteen. Go for it, amen, read it out,
- 33:45study it, Amen, or you'll be able to explain the gospel. That's
- 33:47just a short way of explaining the gospel. I hope it helps you,
- 33:52Amen. I know it helps me. Amen. And I'll bless you all.
- 33:54Thank you so much for hanging out with me. I'm out of time.
- 33:57I'm over time now. But God bless you all. God keep you
- 34:00all, and remember always that God is good. Peace.
