Suspect Pulls Gun On Officer, Doesn't End Well
An officer investigating two suspected shoplifters says Shane Newman gave a false name before a records check revealed warrants and an armed-and-dangerous warning. The officer says Newman then pointed a gun at his face and pulled the trigger, but it failed to fire, and witnesses describe Conrad tackling Newman before he surrendered.
