- 0:05Speaker 2: on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Harry Styles there on a Kiss FM and your chance
- 0:12Speaker 3: to go see Harry. I'm actually gonna give away a
- 0:14Speaker 3: pair of tickets tomorrow. I'll call one of our finalists
- 0:17Speaker 3: tomorrow and give away a pair of tickets to go
- 0:19Speaker 3: see Harry Styles in concert at Madison Square Garden. So yeah,
- 0:23Speaker 3: rain today hides around sixty tomorrow looks just as wet.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Do you mind or do you find it interesting or
- 0:30Speaker 3: concerning that I think of you both, Tanya and Sistney
- 0:32Speaker 3: before I shave and I did today. I thought of
- 0:34Speaker 3: both of you before I decided this look. And I
- 0:38Speaker 3: decided this look as to make you both happy, like
- 0:42Speaker 3: your deep v and did you shave? It doesn't looks
- 0:46Speaker 3: like should just I decided to shave a goateee out
- 0:49Speaker 3: of what was there?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Okay, that's what I'm seeing. Yeah, it's it's tight, it's subtle.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Oh it's not.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I don't it doesn't like Yeah, it's not Harry yet,
- 0:57Speaker 3: but you know, Sistney likes it. When I shaved, Tanya,
- 1:00Speaker 3: you complain.
- 1:01Speaker 2: When I saved. It's very difficult to win. So I
- 1:03Speaker 2: thought this was right at the middle.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's just halfway okay, And I kind of feel like
- 1:06Speaker 1: you could rock a go tea like if you fully
- 1:09Speaker 1: no like it, but if you like fully commit that.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I would rub with my fingers before yeah, and then
- 1:14Speaker 2: you have to get like beard cream. Oh, I don't
- 1:17Speaker 2: want to go start good morning?
- 1:20Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:21Speaker 3: Do So you spend time with your mom and dad saysning'
- 1:23Speaker 3: do you drop any bombs from them? You curse in
- 1:25Speaker 3: front of them?
- 1:25Speaker 2: I don't. I don't. I feel uncomfortable doing it.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Uh, you know with my mom over the literally just here,
- 1:33Speaker 3: I've caught myself a couple of times, you know, because
- 1:35Speaker 3: I I don't I do it. I don't do it here,
- 1:38Speaker 3: but I can do it adds to the story sometimes
- 1:41Speaker 3: to yeah, yeah, adds to the shock and drama sometimes,
- 1:45Speaker 3: but I and I tread lightly with her to see
- 1:47Speaker 3: how it's gonna go. It's I can tell it's still
- 1:49Speaker 3: not gonna go. Well, she doesn't really want to now, Jordan,
- 1:53Speaker 3: you live with your parents, yes, I do. So this
- 1:57Speaker 3: must be more challenging because I did live with my
- 1:59Speaker 3: mom over the weekend, but she will depart today. Do
- 2:03Speaker 3: you curse in front of your parents with you when
- 2:05Speaker 3: you live with them.
- 2:06Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I really try my best to just keep it professional.
- 2:10Speaker 2: And what would happen if you did in front of
- 2:12Speaker 2: your parents that you live with.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Well, it just happened recently over the phone, and it
- 2:18Speaker 4: wasn't the greatest reaction.
- 2:23Speaker 2: And what are we talking? Give me some context of
- 2:24Speaker 2: what it was about.
- 2:26Speaker 4: We Well, I call my mom a lot. I call
- 2:29Speaker 4: her the multiple times a day just to like chat
- 2:31Speaker 4: with her. And there is just one situation where I
- 2:34Speaker 4: was just ranting and I think I got too comfortable.
- 2:37Speaker 4: So in the middle of my sentence, I just dropped
- 2:40Speaker 4: the hardest f ball.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah, but here's the good news.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I should feel great you have such a tight relationship
- 2:46Speaker 3: that you could do that with her. I mean, that's
- 2:49Speaker 3: the spin you got to say to her. Yeah, I'm
- 2:51Speaker 3: giving you the I'm giving you the line to give
- 2:53Speaker 3: to her for you on your on your behalf, for
- 2:54Speaker 3: you back to her. Hey, Mom, I know I shouldn't
- 2:57Speaker 3: have said that, but you understand, Like, I just feel
- 2:58Speaker 3: like I can tell you anything.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Just right there. That's true. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I like that to tell you anything. Oh, do you
- 3:05Speaker 2: want me to call her and have her hear this
- 3:07Speaker 2: from you right now.
- 3:08Speaker 4: You know, if it would just keep the heat off.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Me, Well, somehow the heat's gonna find you while you're
- 3:14Speaker 3: living with your parents no matter what.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I really cannot god, uh.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, just spin it about tightness. Sometimes life is about
- 3:22Speaker 3: the spin with the parents. Got to spin it into
- 3:24Speaker 3: the closeness. I mean, you hear the hits here. We're
- 3:27Speaker 3: talking about giving away the Bruno Mahers tickets. They are
- 3:29Speaker 3: Inde Grandine tickets, the tickets to go see Harry Styles.
- 3:32Speaker 3: They all started somewhere. They all have a story, they
- 3:36Speaker 3: all needed a big break. So the reason I bring
- 3:40Speaker 3: this up is American Idol is on tonight at eight
- 3:42Speaker 3: and it's on ABC, and tonight you're gonna see some
- 3:45Speaker 3: great auditions, but one specifically. I'm gonna introduce you to
- 3:48Speaker 3: Jake Thistle here in a second. But Jake started out
- 3:52Speaker 3: when he was nine, like he knew this is what
- 3:54Speaker 3: he wanted to do. He was nine years old. I
- 3:56Speaker 3: think he was watching a football game and basically at
- 3:59Speaker 3: a watch party.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Really that music was his calling.
- 4:02Speaker 3: And then the dude has gone on to perform with
- 4:05Speaker 3: some some real stars, Stevie Nicks, the who fighters Eddie
- 4:08Speaker 3: Vedder Pearl jam and came into audition for American Iata
- 4:12Speaker 3: because he wants to do his thing.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And here is Jake Thistle. Hey, Jake, Hey, how you doing.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Thank you for having me. I appreciate it.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I'm doing great, and we're excited for people to see
- 4:22Speaker 3: your audition. As I said, everybody has to start somewhere,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and they've got to realize that this is something they love.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Talk about knowing at such a young age music was
- 4:32Speaker 3: for you for sure.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, when I was three years old, my
- 4:36Speaker 5: parents let me stay up to watch a Super Bowl.
- 4:38Speaker 5: So it's timely we're talking about it now, but they
- 4:40Speaker 5: thought I might get into sports, not necessarily the case,
- 4:43Speaker 5: but Tom Eddy and the Heartbreakers played the halftime show,
- 4:46Speaker 5: and for whatever reason, it just completely mesmerized me. And
- 4:49Speaker 5: so from that age it was just that was something
- 4:52Speaker 5: I knew I've really gravitated toward. And so when I
- 4:54Speaker 5: was nine, I picked up guitar. You know, I primarily
- 4:57Speaker 5: you know, learned off YouTube and things like that, and
- 4:59Speaker 5: then I started learning sharing the stage with people, and
- 5:02Speaker 5: it just really snowball from there. And now I'm talking
- 5:04Speaker 5: to you, so I'll take it, you know.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Sysney Tanya heartthrot vibes, you definitely.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Have it there some time. This guy that you see
- 5:13Speaker 2: right exactly.
- 5:15Speaker 5: I'll take it while I can, you know, I appreciate it.
- 5:18Speaker 3: What do you think people will will take away from
- 5:20Speaker 3: your story and your audition tonight, because I always like
- 5:23Speaker 3: the stories, and I like that gives people hope.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I got a dream for any dream, you know.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that was one of the things that
- 5:31Speaker 5: you know, I like the best about getting to, you know,
- 5:33Speaker 5: hang around in Nashville during the audition day and and
- 5:35Speaker 5: and get to talk to you know, so many other contestants.
- 5:37Speaker 5: I'd love to talk to you about talking to a
- 5:39Speaker 5: lot of idle contestants, but you know, it's just there's
- 5:42Speaker 5: such a shared passion and such a shared sort of
- 5:46Speaker 5: you know, humanity within all of us. That and just
- 5:48Speaker 5: getting to see that passion up close, you know, from
- 5:51Speaker 5: other people really resonated a lot with me. So I'm
- 5:54Speaker 5: really hoping that comes through on the screen. You know,
- 5:56Speaker 5: I've watched every week so far, so I know for
- 5:58Speaker 5: a fact it's coming through for a lot of my friends,
- 6:00Speaker 5: and so I'm hoping I'm hoping people see that from
- 6:02Speaker 5: me as well.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Well, tonight is the night for Jake Thistle. It's on
- 6:06Speaker 3: American Idol. You'll be talking about him, maybe even on
- 6:09Speaker 3: social media about him tonight eight o'clock ABC, streams next
- 6:13Speaker 3: day on Hulu. Great to see You's so glad you
- 6:15Speaker 3: came out to audition for American Idol.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Really appreciate you taking the time and making it happen,
- 6:20Speaker 2: and let's see where it goes. I can't wait. Thank
- 6:24Speaker 2: you so much, Take care brother bye bye. Yeah, super
- 6:29Speaker 2: nice guy.
- 6:29Speaker 3: And anybody says by now I like, any bite says
- 6:32Speaker 3: buy now, like by now saying by now by?
- 6:34Speaker 1: No right?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Mark says, do you kinda say by now? By now?
- 6:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 6:40Speaker 2: That's different?
- 6:42Speaker 3: By Marcus bye now you on bye now. Four ninety
- 6:48Speaker 3: nine A pack at Stater Brothers. All right, did you
- 6:51Speaker 3: get flowers Valentine's Day? Are they already drooping? Get extra
- 6:55Speaker 3: week out of them? I'll tell you how. Next one
- 6:56Speaker 3: to two point seven kiss FM. I got a quote
- 7:00Speaker 3: to wrap your head around this morning, hopefully get you
- 7:02Speaker 3: into the right energy for the day on this President's Day,
- 7:05Speaker 3: Monday the sixteenth.
- 7:06Speaker 2: A lot of y'all taking some time off. Good on you.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So this is gonna sound like a joke, but it's not.
- 7:11Speaker 3: This has been proven to work. Adding this to your
- 7:14Speaker 3: flower water. If you've got flowers over the weekend for
- 7:16Speaker 3: your Valentine's Day celebration, adding this to the water, we'll
- 7:21Speaker 3: keep them upright for an extra week. And that's by
- 7:23Speaker 3: adding crust viagra. Soho, if you want to keep your
- 7:27Speaker 3: flowers extended for another week, that's what you do.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Make it up.
- 7:31Speaker 3: This is science, pharmaceutical science here, So that's it. I mean,
- 7:37Speaker 3: that's the whole thing right there. Keep them for another week.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Try it.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Next your quote, Without rain, nothing grows. Learn to embrace
- 7:50Speaker 3: the storms of life.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah that's not fun. Yeah, but we know we're in
- 7:55Speaker 2: the storm right now. We're in it now, So embrace
- 7:58Speaker 2: the rain, Embrace the witness. Today. Out of which, after
- 8:01Speaker 2: seven o'clock whines Roses, here's what we know.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Her husband got a little too close to a married
- 8:07Speaker 3: co worker, and she found out when the coworker's husband
- 8:10Speaker 3: called her to tell her it's not good or Sydney
- 8:16Speaker 3: has the headlines on this President.
- 8:18Speaker 2: This FM headlines with Sisney Well.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The LA Fire Department issued an evacuation warning for the
- 8:25Speaker 1: Palisades Hurst and Sunset fire burned scar zones through nine
- 8:29Speaker 1: am tomorrow due to the heavy storm. Thousands of people
- 8:33Speaker 1: gathered in downtown La over the weekend to call for
- 8:36Speaker 1: a change in the current regime in Iran. The National
- 8:40Speaker 1: Park Service is evaluating La County beaches from will Rogers
- 8:43Speaker 1: to Torrents for potential inclusion in the National park System,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and the Galaxy and the Downtown Long Beach Alliance are
- 8:52Speaker 1: teaming up to host the La Galaxy Soccer Celebration, a
- 8:56Speaker 1: series of fan events tied to this summer's FIFA World Cup.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Getting to Ryan's roses in a few minutes on Kiss FM, so,
- 9:03Speaker 3: I guess he was.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Being a little too close with a coworker.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And then the coworker's husband calls her to say, Hey,
- 9:08Speaker 3: your spouse is cozying up with my wife. Mm, that's
- 9:14Speaker 3: gonna happen at seven point forty uh midterms, Sophia, What
- 9:19Speaker 3: are you taking mid terms on what?
- 9:20Speaker 2: I was gonna say, what topics? But what subjects? What topics?
- 9:25Speaker 2: And the thing in the frame of which we talk
- 9:27Speaker 2: what subjects?
- 9:28Speaker 7: So my classes are also a little crazy this quarter.
- 9:31Speaker 7: I'm taking Native American Women, France and Asia and literature
- 9:35Speaker 7: and arts and just a cute film class.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Okay, now if you have midterms right now?
- 9:40Speaker 3: So I remember when I was growing up, the best
- 9:44Speaker 3: technique would be to borrow someone's information that didn't always
- 9:49Speaker 3: happen or go over well with the professor.
- 9:51Speaker 2: So cheating, that's not.
- 9:54Speaker 3: There was there was something sound in front of me
- 9:56Speaker 3: because we were alphabetically ordered. Who in high school would
- 9:58Speaker 3: slide her paper to the right right at the right
- 10:01Speaker 3: time for me to quickly grab some letters every once
- 10:03Speaker 3: in a while.
- 10:05Speaker 2: So I don't suggest that because.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Because that would be cheating, right, it's borrowing, sporrowing, sorrowing.
- 10:15Speaker 2: What are your two techniques for memorizing things?
- 10:17Speaker 7: So the first technique is called the fine men technique.
- 10:20Speaker 7: And I'm actually really excited to try this one because
- 10:22Speaker 7: you basically orally or write it down, but you explain
- 10:27Speaker 7: the topic as if you're explaining it to a little kid.
- 10:30Speaker 7: So you like really simplify it and break it down
- 10:32Speaker 7: so that even like a fourth grader could understand it.
- 10:35Speaker 3: But do you have to do the simplifying or does
- 10:37Speaker 3: someone help you simplify it?
- 10:38Speaker 7: So you like read and review the material and then
- 10:41Speaker 7: you simplify it to the best of your abilities, and
- 10:43Speaker 7: then if you get stuck and don't know how to
- 10:45Speaker 7: simplify it, you just go back, review more and then
- 10:48Speaker 7: do it all.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Can you just put this stuff into chat GPT, because
- 10:50Speaker 1: gosh if I have.
- 10:51Speaker 2: That during COGE, simplify this lesson.
- 10:55Speaker 7: But then you don't like understand and retain the information
- 10:58Speaker 7: as well.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Sometimes re tension isn't the goal, it's just getting through
- 11:03Speaker 2: it now is the goal. Sometimes I'm not sure.
- 11:08Speaker 3: What's the second study technique for people taking mid terms
- 11:13Speaker 3: right now?
- 11:13Speaker 7: The second one is called blurting, and this is when you.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Blurt out the facts.
- 11:22Speaker 7: This is when you read a chapter in your book
- 11:23Speaker 7: or read the notes, whatever you got to do, and
- 11:25Speaker 7: you write it down on a blank piece of paper.
- 11:28Speaker 7: It can't be lined, it can't be anything like a
- 11:29Speaker 7: blank piece of paper, and you write it down as
- 11:32Speaker 7: much as you can go, and then you compare it
- 11:35Speaker 7: to the original notes.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Wow, what's the first one? I like the technique for me?
- 11:44Speaker 7: I do too, but I feel like they're both for memorization.
- 11:47Speaker 7: So that's honestly what I need right now, So we'll see.
- 11:50Speaker 3: How What about writing stuff down? Like just writing things
- 11:53Speaker 3: down and picturing what I wrote down helps too?
- 11:55Speaker 7: Yeah, Like I like the diagrams, and yes, you call
- 12:00Speaker 7: that the secret method.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Good luck?
- 12:04Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Hey, Michaela, do you let me just grab this thought
- 12:08Speaker 3: from you for a second before we get into Ryan's roses.
- 12:10Speaker 3: And in this scenario of roses, uh, her husband was
- 12:15Speaker 3: cozying up with a coworker and that co worker's husband
- 12:18Speaker 3: called her to say, what's going on with your husband
- 12:21Speaker 3: and my wife problems?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Now? Where is my husband? Mikayla? Go ahead? What's they shoot?
- 12:28Speaker 8: Back? There?
- 12:29Speaker 6: So, my girlfriend asked me to set her up with
- 12:32Speaker 6: one of my best guy friends. And he's not into her.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Okay, so you know both of them, yes, and you
- 12:42Speaker 3: know that he doesn't like her, your girlfriend, and you
- 12:47Speaker 3: have this information, but she wants you to set them up.
- 12:51Speaker 6: Yes, and she's like, hey, like you should set us up?
- 12:54Speaker 6: Like when are you going to set us up? But
- 12:55Speaker 6: I'm like, he's not into her that way? But I
- 12:57Speaker 6: don't know how to tell her that.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Well what how would he react if you go to
- 13:02Speaker 3: him to try and set him up with her?
- 13:03Speaker 6: Well I did kind of mention it, and he was
- 13:06Speaker 6: like he was.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Like, nah, not, Why why is he not into it?
- 13:10Speaker 6: He says that he has this thing where he doesn't
- 13:12Speaker 6: like to date my friends, like he doesn't want to
- 13:15Speaker 6: he's in.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Line with you friendship. No, yeah, Tanya, actually I think so? Yeah?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Wait is this the hot guy that you're friends with?
- 13:26Speaker 2: This is the hot guy right? And you're like, I
- 13:28Speaker 2: can't date him.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Because he's too hot? Like, I don't know, that's not it.
- 13:31Speaker 2: We're just really good friends and.
- 13:33Speaker 3: He's Oh, but maybe it's not about those two. Maybe
- 13:37Speaker 3: it's you not whtting a hook hot guy up with
- 13:39Speaker 3: your girlfriend.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I'll be down to hook them up.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Okay, So here's we can try a different angle. Here
- 13:47Speaker 1: is he dating?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Like? You know, if he's actively dating other girls? He is,
- 13:51Speaker 2: then maybe that's you're out. Okay.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I think he's kind of seen a girl or maybe
- 13:56Speaker 1: multiple women, who knows.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I don't think it's the right time. Can I just
- 14:01Speaker 2: come up with a concept here? Sure?
- 14:03Speaker 3: If she's so hot and he's such a good friend, yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 3: why aren't you dating?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Trust me? We have been telling her this for years.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Because it's just I can't think of him like that.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I don't know. How can you not think of someone
- 14:15Speaker 2: so hot? Is literally any that's how it works. We're
- 14:21Speaker 2: just no, he's just he's not my type. That there
- 14:24Speaker 2: you go, it's not your.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Type in a picture of this man, because I mean
- 14:33Speaker 1: Ryan will go for him.
- 14:34Speaker 2: At this point I read, yes, I can pull it up.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'm not getting involved.
- 14:40Speaker 1: You have to get involved, at least visual aids so
- 14:42Speaker 1: you can just see what he looks like.
- 14:45Speaker 2: It was right there, right there, right there at him.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Hold on, can I see that? Hold it still? I'm caring?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, where is he in a castle in Scotland?
- 15:02Speaker 2: This hat on? Backwards touring Europe? Backpacking? What's it go?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Do you have a r just good friends, such good thing?
- 15:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I would never see him or think of him
- 15:11Speaker 3: like that. Let's come back here with Bruno Marske Kiss FM,
- 15:15Speaker 3: one of two point seven Kiss FM. It's time for
- 15:18Speaker 3: Ryan's roses. Dear Ryan, Sisney and Tanya. My husband was
- 15:23Speaker 3: spending too much time with a coworker and her husband
- 15:25Speaker 3: and found out and then called me, okay, I don't
- 15:28Speaker 3: need to know too much more than that sounds pretty bad.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Selena is on the phone in North Rage. So the
- 15:34Speaker 3: four of you, after you got this information, all of
- 15:36Speaker 3: y'all got together and the other woman made it very
- 15:39Speaker 3: clear that it was over.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But she did love your husband. Wait what happened?
- 15:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:44Speaker 9: Basically, you know they said that it was over, but
- 15:48Speaker 9: you know she noticed them getting too close.
- 15:51Speaker 2: But you say over meaning did they have an affair?
- 15:55Speaker 9: Well, they had something. I mean there was you know,
- 15:59Speaker 9: pictures and photos and texts between them.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So you know that your husband had something going on
- 16:06Speaker 3: and her husband knows that something went on. And what
- 16:12Speaker 3: are we supposed to do? I don't know what we're
- 16:14Speaker 3: gonna do. You already know that they're cheated.
- 16:17Speaker 9: Well, at first, I honestly I didn't know. I was
- 16:20Speaker 9: you know, I have four kids and so I'm busy
- 16:24Speaker 9: doing you know, drop off, pickup, you know, launches, all
- 16:28Speaker 9: that kind of stuff. And you know when the husband
- 16:30Speaker 9: called me, at first, I was stunned. But you know,
- 16:33Speaker 9: they said it was over, but I don't know.
- 16:36Speaker 3: So you know what happened, And you're asking us to
- 16:39Speaker 3: find out if it's truly over, to see if he
- 16:40Speaker 3: sends roses to somebody. What's the coworker's name, what's her name?
- 16:45Speaker 2: Lily? Lily? All right? I got it. You just want
- 16:49Speaker 2: you want to make sure it's over. Yeah, he's been
- 16:52Speaker 2: How is he?
- 16:53Speaker 3: How has he acted ever since? The four of you
- 16:54Speaker 3: got together in this situation.
- 16:56Speaker 9: I mean honestly, like he seems he's in mourning, like
- 17:01Speaker 9: he's depressed, and I don't know if he misses her
- 17:04Speaker 9: or if you know, he was like actually going to
- 17:06Speaker 9: lead me.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Okay, hold on one second, I see. So our assignment
- 17:11Speaker 3: is to find out if if he's not thinking about
- 17:14Speaker 3: her Lily anymore. Next, because you're in Ryan's roses right now.
- 17:18Speaker 3: We just met Selena, So check this out. Selena, her
- 17:21Speaker 3: husband had an affair, hooked up, did something with a coworker.
- 17:27Speaker 3: That coworker's husband also found out about it. The four
- 17:30Speaker 3: of them got together to address it. That's awkward. And
- 17:34Speaker 3: the other woman in this case, the woman that Selena's
- 17:37Speaker 3: husband was messing around with, she made it clear that
- 17:41Speaker 3: it's over, that something happened, but it's over, and Selena
- 17:44Speaker 3: wants to know is it really over? So, but Selena,
- 17:47Speaker 3: whether it's over or not, you know that he cheated,
- 17:49Speaker 3: do you still want to try and make it work?
- 17:52Speaker 9: We have four kids. I can't just like call it clips.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Just so understand everything the context here, Selena. I need
- 17:59Speaker 3: you to say, Ryan, you my permission to call, and
- 18:01Speaker 3: then his name.
- 18:02Speaker 9: Go ahead, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 18:07Speaker 3: We're gonna do that right now. Her name is Lily.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Lily is the coworker he already had something with. So
- 18:14Speaker 3: who's he thinking about for roses right now? Selena Lily?
- 18:19Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 18:31Speaker 8: Hello? Hi?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Is this Travis? Hi Travis, My name is Becky. I'm

- 19:44Speaker 2: Amazing? Okay?
- 19:45Speaker 1: So what is their name the person you want to
- 19:48Speaker 1: send them to?
- 19:50Speaker 8: Oh, that would be Selena?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Okay, And what do you want to put on the card?
- 20:00Speaker 8: Oh? Man, that's a tough one. Just I'm really sorry

- 20:13Speaker 2: I love you.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, is everything okay?
- 20:20Speaker 8: Yeah? Yeah?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Well, Travis, it's Ryan Seacrest. Your voice is being broadcast
- 20:25Speaker 3: on the radio, and we are wondering what's happening here?
- 20:32Speaker 8: Whoa what, what's the what's what's this?
- 20:36Speaker 3: This is us calling you asking you what's how your
- 20:38Speaker 3: relationship is going with Selena?
- 20:43Speaker 8: What's Selena? That's going? Really well? Okay? Good? Well? You know,
- 20:51Speaker 8: she said she would be kind of down lately.
- 20:55Speaker 2: How would she be down? Any reason?
- 20:59Speaker 8: I don't know. It's it's just kind of hard to
- 21:01Speaker 8: put in words, you know, it's hard to talk about
- 21:05Speaker 8: on the regular stranger.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I understand. So your wife is on the line. Would
- 21:10Speaker 2: you like to discuss it with her? Selena? Go ahead, Hi, Travis,
- 21:17Speaker 2: I was just worried.
- 21:21Speaker 9: I felt like something was going on with you, like,
- 21:24Speaker 9: you know, whatever was going on with her.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Oh no, it's it's it's not that. It's it's more
- 21:34Speaker 8: the realization that it nearly blew up a whole family
- 21:37Speaker 8: guy and being stupid. Look, I didn't even realize what
- 21:41Speaker 8: that was until it was two days.
- 21:45Speaker 3: So, Travis, it sounds like you guys have been through this.
- 21:48Speaker 3: So we're gonna let you continue and and talk. But Selena,
- 21:53Speaker 3: did you get the peace of mind that you were
- 21:54Speaker 3: looking for?
- 21:55Speaker 8: That?
- 21:55Speaker 2: I feel like he really does feel.
- 21:58Speaker 9: Yeah, it's definitely. I feel I feel like, hey, well,
- 22:02Speaker 9: beIN's here and we're good. Okay, we can probably get
- 22:06Speaker 9: off the radio now.
- 22:09Speaker 8: Yeah, we should parking private your baby, We'll take care
- 22:13Speaker 8: of that for you.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So I think that's mission accomplished.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Man, they got a lot of work to do, he sounds.
- 22:21Speaker 10: Us on air with Ryan Seacrest Kiss FMLA.
- 22:32Speaker 2: So where are we in terms of all these concert tickets?
- 22:34Speaker 3: Next tickets to go see Ari and Grande and then
- 22:36Speaker 3: twenty minutes later, more sold out tickets for Bruno Mars.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Megan is in Fullerton. So you heard from your ex
- 22:44Speaker 3: on Valentine's Day? How did that go?
- 22:47Speaker 11: Yeah? So basically we broke up about a year ago
- 22:52Speaker 11: just because the timing was up. I mean, there wasn't
- 22:54Speaker 11: any big betrayal. It was just kind of like life
- 22:56Speaker 11: pulling in different directions. We haven't talked in months, and
- 23:02Speaker 11: then on Saturday night you texted me Happy Valentine's Day, period,
- 23:07Speaker 11: and I didn't respond, But I've been thinking about him
- 23:11Speaker 11: NonStop ever since. And I am in a relationship now.
- 23:15Speaker 11: It's a good relationship, but the text kind of stirred
- 23:18Speaker 11: something up and I don't know do old feelings coming
- 23:21Speaker 11: back mean something? Or is this just Valentine's Day messing
- 23:24Speaker 11: with my head? And do I tell my partner about it?
- 23:29Speaker 2: That is so loaded it?
- 23:33Speaker 3: Yes? First of all, let's work backwards, guy, Yes, you
- 23:37Speaker 3: tell your partner about it?
- 23:39Speaker 2: Okay, Well, what if your.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Partner finds out about it? Look partner first?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Okay?
- 23:51Speaker 3: Okay, So I mean after that, did nothing else matters?
- 23:54Speaker 3: Just tell your partner happened and get out of it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Move on, okay, because you want to move on.
- 24:01Speaker 11: I don't know. I just feel like I don't know
- 24:04Speaker 11: why he would. I don't know why he would text
- 24:07Speaker 11: that just out of nowhere.
- 24:09Speaker 2: We haven't talked in one Yeah, this intrigued you.
- 24:14Speaker 11: It doesn't trigue me, And I don't know.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I don't want to steer this in a different direction.
- 24:20Speaker 3: But it worries me a little bit that you're questioning
- 24:22Speaker 3: whether or not to tell your boyfriend. That is what
- 24:25Speaker 3: I'm leaving this thinking.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I'm thinking, now you need to break up with your boyfriend.
- 24:29Speaker 11: Oh, that just seems so.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Daunting.
- 24:34Speaker 11: I don't know, it just feels like there's a there's
- 24:36Speaker 11: a lot of emotions being stirred around, and I don't
- 24:39Speaker 11: know if I should just live.
- 24:41Speaker 2: What's the other option? Get up with the X and
- 24:43Speaker 2: then now you're cheating? Yeah, you can't do that. I mean,
- 24:46Speaker 2: it's very clear.
- 24:47Speaker 3: You gotta if you want to stay with the guy
- 24:49Speaker 3: you're with, you gotta tell him. If you don't care,
- 24:51Speaker 3: then move the other direction. But that's what it comes
- 24:53Speaker 3: down to. Good luck, Megan, all right, thank you?
- 24:56Speaker 12: Thanks you See Ryan, this is what happens when you
- 24:59Speaker 12: do these things.
- 25:00Speaker 2: What do you do do?
- 25:01Speaker 1: What when you text your exes?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Oh?
- 25:05Speaker 1: My gosh, you're the guy that stirs everything up.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Not once does that happen?
- 25:10Speaker 1: But you don't know.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Conversations I do. I do know LA number one hit
- 25:18Speaker 3: music station, one of two point seven. It is kiss
- 25:20Speaker 3: f M. There are two kinds of Romeos in the world.
- 25:24Speaker 3: The romeos that can keep a secret and pull off
- 25:26Speaker 3: a surprise and those who can't.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I cannot.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I say, I'm going to surprise you, and then I
- 25:31Speaker 3: call you back and tell you a little bit of
- 25:33Speaker 3: what we're gonna do, and then a little bit more
- 25:35Speaker 3: and a little bit more.
- 25:36Speaker 1: But I like to know a little bit at least
- 25:38Speaker 1: then you can know what person I'll fit to.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Wear and that type of stuff.
- 25:43Speaker 3: See, let's talk about Valentine's Day for a second. This
- 25:46Speaker 3: is a note to some people. You do, and I've
- 25:49Speaker 3: learned this. If I'm going to surprise her, I need
- 25:52Speaker 3: to tell her what kind of things would be appropriate
- 25:56Speaker 3: to wear. Walking shoes or not, right chance or dress
- 26:01Speaker 3: denim or non denim, hair tie, no hair tie, right toiletries,
- 26:07Speaker 3: put them in the car. Oh, I've learned all of
- 26:10Speaker 3: this stuff. I don't know always execute, but I've learned it.
- 26:13Speaker 3: So for me, Valentine's day. It was Mom, before we
- 26:16Speaker 3: get to the surprise that I don't even know about
- 26:18Speaker 3: that you're.
- 26:19Speaker 1: It wasn't that big of a surprise.
- 26:23Speaker 2: So Mom and I went out for dinner. We did
- 26:25Speaker 2: the Valentine's date dinner together.
- 26:26Speaker 3: It was very sweet because all of the servers were like, oh,
- 26:30Speaker 3: what a valiance, what a great Valentine's date you've got.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Really, yeah, everybody, You're just like God.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Taking pictures with everybody. It was very, very fun and
- 26:43Speaker 3: she loved it. And we went to a place where
- 26:46Speaker 3: my dad before he passed away, where he loved it, steakhouse,
- 26:49Speaker 3: and so we were we were giving a great family moment,
- 26:52Speaker 3: the two of us. And then at the end they're like, oh,
- 26:55Speaker 3: well we're going to give your mom. We're giving all
- 26:57Speaker 3: of the guests for Valentine's Day their parting gift. And
- 27:01Speaker 3: I said great, And it was strawberry marshmellows. She got
- 27:04Speaker 3: to take home some strawberry marshmellows from the restaurant. So
- 27:08Speaker 3: thank y'all very much, and again, Happy Valentine's Day. Post
- 27:11Speaker 3: Valentine's Day, Mah as we call her Mah.
- 27:14Speaker 2: So what do you do? He had a plan? He
- 27:17Speaker 2: acts like he had no planning. He had a plan.
- 27:18Speaker 5: What do you do?
- 27:18Speaker 2: He had a little bit of a plan.
- 27:20Speaker 1: It wasn't like over the top crazy like again, it
- 27:22Speaker 1: was a family Valentine's Day, so it wasn't just the
- 27:25Speaker 1: two of us. But we woke up in the morning,
- 27:28Speaker 1: flowers were delivered to the house, shout out to Mark's garden,
- 27:31Speaker 1: and then he and Maxon actually cooked breakfast for the
- 27:35Speaker 1: whole family, and they made us very simple because I
- 27:38Speaker 1: guess we were going to brunch at eleven thirty, so
- 27:41Speaker 1: this is now like seven am, eight am, that we're
- 27:43Speaker 1: eating a little breakfast. And they made a piece of
- 27:46Speaker 1: toast and they cut out a heart shape in the middle,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and they put scrambled eggs in the middle with the
- 27:51Speaker 1: heart on top. Isn't that so cute?
- 27:54Speaker 2: But this is all now.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Again he could have thrown this together last minute, but
- 27:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm assuming he knew going in this was
- 28:01Speaker 3: the plan the whole time. But it could go either way. However,
- 28:04Speaker 3: it's the thoughtfulness that counted. And there was a full delivery,
- 28:08Speaker 3: a full delivery exactly exactly.
- 28:10Speaker 1: And then he had had a beautiful brunch and but
- 28:13Speaker 1: you know, the walking shoes things was interesting.
- 28:15Speaker 2: He should have told me not to wear the shoes
- 28:16Speaker 2: that I wore.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm good on shoe training. I have been really
- 28:20Speaker 3: schooled on shoe training. And I actually say, now, if
- 28:22Speaker 3: I'm going on a first date, that we may walk
- 28:24Speaker 3: a little bit, so pack some others, yeah, or go
- 28:27Speaker 3: with some flatter ones or a low heel.
- 28:29Speaker 2: This is a low heel.
- 28:31Speaker 1: But this is good staff Ton yet because yeah, like
- 28:33Speaker 1: we were bron just thinking we're going to brunch and
- 28:35Speaker 1: we're coming home, and so at brunch, then he goes, hey,
- 28:37Speaker 1: I thought we could, you know, because it's so nice here.
- 28:39Speaker 2: We could walk around and do some shopping. And I
- 28:41Speaker 2: was just like, yep, you gotta have walking shoes ready
- 28:42Speaker 2: to go.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Or he should have gifted you walking shoes in that moment. Wow,
- 28:48Speaker 3: I only learned this stuff in the last few years. Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 3: it's one and only romantic Bruno Mars on one oh
- 28:55Speaker 3: two point seven and the Kiss FM with Lady God
- 28:58Speaker 3: Got Bruno Mars. This guy is on top of it
- 29:00Speaker 3: about shoe side, like knowing shoe sizes and flats or heels.
- 29:04Speaker 3: On a blind date or a date where it's a
- 29:06Speaker 3: surprise date, you got to like give that direction to
- 29:09Speaker 3: who you're going with this guy. Bruno Mars sent roses
- 29:12Speaker 3: to the team here.
- 29:13Speaker 1: They were delivered on Valentine's Day and it had like
- 29:16Speaker 1: a picture of him around the flowers and it said
- 29:18Speaker 1: the Romantic Because you know, what's the name of his album.
- 29:21Speaker 3: All the things he's putting us all to shame, that's
- 29:24Speaker 3: what he's doing.
- 29:24Speaker 2: But I like it. It's a good note. Put it
- 29:26Speaker 2: in your notes, all.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Right, Tanya. There was a hard launch over the weekend.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Who did it?
- 29:32Speaker 12: Hudson Williams and we have been waiting for this. So
- 29:35Speaker 12: he is one of the stars of heated rivalry. It's
- 29:38Speaker 12: Hudson Williams and Connor story and they have become Hollywood's
- 29:41Speaker 12: hottest stars very very quickly. Everybody is obsessed with them,
- 29:45Speaker 12: and everybody's very invested in their real life love lives.
- 29:49Speaker 12: And Hudson finally decided Valentine's Day was the day to
- 29:51Speaker 12: tell us all. He posted a photo tribute to his girlfriend.
- 29:55Speaker 12: He didn't name her or tag her, so we don't
- 29:57Speaker 12: know who she is, but he did let us know this.
- 29:59Speaker 12: He said, with me since my two thousand gold Mazda
- 30:02Speaker 12: and had no job, So what we can deduce from
- 30:05Speaker 12: that as they've been together for a minute, and I'm
- 30:09Speaker 12: so happy this is what we've been waiting for. And
- 30:13Speaker 12: now I'm just very curious about Connorsory.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Well, the curiosity will continue.
- 30:18Speaker 3: It does actually strike me in a good way that
- 30:23Speaker 3: they were with each other before it all, yea, And
- 30:25Speaker 3: I think that's that is a great thing to be
- 30:27Speaker 3: with somebody before anything, during anything, and while anything is happening.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Will they stay together as he continues to have more
- 30:35Speaker 3: and more That's going to be a real test, But
- 30:37Speaker 3: I hope they do, yea, because he's got to think
- 30:39Speaker 3: back and remember.
- 30:40Speaker 2: That gold Mazda. It got me to thinking about our first.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Cars and how meaningful those moments were in life when
- 30:46Speaker 3: you first started to drive and you had no idea
- 30:49Speaker 3: what you wanted to do, You had nothing for sure,
- 30:52Speaker 3: but you had the freedom to move around this city. Yeah,
- 30:55Speaker 3: my first car was a Burgundy. That is the color
- 30:57Speaker 3: of wine, Sophia. Burgundy is the color of wine. Poogio,
- 31:02Speaker 3: which they don't even I don't think they make them
- 31:05Speaker 3: here anymore there anymore.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Poogho.
- 31:08Speaker 3: It's like spelled pugott Oh okay, yeah, puw got pe
- 31:12Speaker 3: got you got five oh, five STI it was a
- 31:15Speaker 3: total hand me down that had an electric antenna in
- 31:19Speaker 3: the back. I think it was a real looker, and
- 31:21Speaker 3: I put even when I wasn't in college, I put
- 31:23Speaker 3: one of those University of Georgia college stickers in the
- 31:26Speaker 3: back window.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Wow, so that.
- 31:28Speaker 3: People think, yeah, I was older than I was when
- 31:31Speaker 3: I was driving. So I was sixteen and they thought, oh,
- 31:34Speaker 3: that's a dude in college. Maybe driving a pew got clever.
- 31:37Speaker 12: My parents did they We Each of my siblings all
- 31:40Speaker 12: had the same first car, so it was at least like, yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 12: it was a silver van with like a.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Black strip right past had passed down, it was pasted.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Oh got it?
- 31:48Speaker 12: Okay, the same exact van, and my sister drove it.
- 31:50Speaker 12: First was my brother's first car, and then it was
- 31:52Speaker 12: my first car.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Every parent wants their kid to if you can, We're
- 31:56Speaker 3: giving you a big tank to move around, and we're
- 31:58Speaker 3: not taking any chances.
- 31:59Speaker 2: We're giving that big, big van to start.
- 32:02Speaker 10: Ins on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 32:08Speaker 3: It's Kiss FM, Espresso. The Olympics. People are watching into it.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Maybe you're inspired to get out there and accomplish something yourself,
- 32:17Speaker 3: whether it be figure skating or just taking a walk.
- 32:20Speaker 3: There is a figure skater. So she's in school and
- 32:22Speaker 3: she had an assignment due, and she kind of had
- 32:24Speaker 3: to write an excuse note to your professor to say, look,
- 32:28Speaker 3: I'm competing. Can I just push can we push the
- 32:31Speaker 3: deadline a little bit for me? I'm I'm overwhelmed with
- 32:34Speaker 3: what I've got going on here. So she wrote that
- 32:37Speaker 3: to the professor and give us some scoop here. Maddie's
- 32:40Speaker 3: her name, Mattie Shesus. She's a Canadian figure skater. And yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 3: what do you think. Do you think she got the.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Extension from the professor? Of course, professor goes, yes, and
- 32:50Speaker 1: the circumstances and an extension is perfectly fine. Focus on
- 32:53Speaker 1: the competition right now and submit it directly to me
- 32:55Speaker 1: when it's done. And then he goes the triple lots
- 32:58Speaker 1: triple tote combo is a pretty hard move to master.
- 33:01Speaker 1: But you've got this good luck. The whole country is
- 33:04Speaker 1: rooting for you and your teammates.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Well, listen, it was the professor against the whole country.
- 33:10Speaker 2: The whole country will be.
- 33:11Speaker 3: After him if he says that you're going to focus
- 33:14Speaker 3: on the triple LUTs triple to combo and I just
- 33:18Speaker 3: these real life they are human being stories are the
- 33:22Speaker 3: ones I love that when they uncover, we get to hear.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Even that one was interesting about the cheating wasn't a
- 33:28Speaker 3: good story, but it was in human story. The guy
- 33:32Speaker 3: felt bad, he had cheating remorse, and he announced it
- 33:34Speaker 3: to the world in his post event interview.
- 33:39Speaker 1: By the way, I have a similar story when I
- 33:41Speaker 1: was coming up. When I was graduating from San Diego State.
- 33:43Speaker 1: It was my last semester and I was already working
- 33:46Speaker 1: up here at KISS. I was commuting from San Diego
- 33:48Speaker 1: to LA on Sunday nights, and then I had an
- 33:50Speaker 1: eight am class on Monday mornings. And it was so
- 33:53Speaker 1: hard for me to get to that class because I
- 33:54Speaker 1: wouldn't even get home to San Diego until.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Like two am.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And I begged the professor to help pass me up.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I said, is there anything I can do? Please? I
- 34:02Speaker 1: cannot go to summer school. I'm moving to LA in
- 34:04Speaker 1: two months like anything.
- 34:05Speaker 2: And they did. They helped me out because they knew
- 34:07Speaker 2: how important it was.
- 34:08Speaker 3: There's no harm in trying exactly no harm and give
- 34:12Speaker 3: it your best, most vulnerable hi, and you might be
- 34:16Speaker 3: surprised with the leaning sa you get all right, coming
- 34:20Speaker 3: up next here at KISSFM, we have these sold out
