- 2:47Speaker 4: Be about that. Okay, they are sold out, darlings.
- 2:51Speaker 3: No, No, this is going to be a great venue

- 3:09Speaker 3: this is where.
- 3:10Speaker 4: This is the place to be.
- 3:11Speaker 1: So and I'm not gonna say anything, but I've been
- 3:15Speaker 1: to one of your cabaremis. I've been to a few,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and let me I will say, you never know who's
- 3:20Speaker 1: going to show up in terms of a Bravo celebrities,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and you never know who might jump in. It's always
- 3:29Speaker 1: you never know who's in the audience, right and in
- 3:33Speaker 1: terms of the Bravo lebs. So when you're at Bravo
- 3:36Speaker 1: cott and you're paneled out and you're like, I don't
- 3:38Speaker 1: want to think I just want to laugh, just want
- 3:42Speaker 1: to laugh among Bravo.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Yes, yes, this is like that's gonna be Also.
- 3:46Speaker 1: What the Bravo leberties are thinking and they go to Cabaremi.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Cut to like Kim d that's like the only one
- 3:55Speaker 3: that's there.
- 3:57Speaker 1: She said, Kim Kim dre She's got her own cabareation.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Kim Kim Durray.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I think that's a great idea. I'm going to do that.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Posh piece of ship.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Wait, remember when Ter said like spelled out what posh
- 4:15Speaker 3: stood for.
- 4:15Speaker 4: That was the greatest She's like piece of shit coke
- 4:20Speaker 4: ha every day.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I was like, it was a question, brilliant. Oh yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 3: we might have trivia. We are gonna have trivia.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 3: There's a lot of audience interaction, which I'm super excited
- 4:33Speaker 3: about because I have had plenty of audience interaction before,
- 4:36Speaker 3: but I feel like this year is going to be
- 4:38Speaker 3: a little bit more. We're gonna step it up in
- 4:41Speaker 3: that direction because it's always so great to do that.
- 4:44Speaker 3: And there's also VIP options for like hanging out with
- 4:47Speaker 3: a meet and greet right after, and again, the space
- 4:50Speaker 3: is so awesome, so it's a really comfortable place to
- 4:52Speaker 3: hang out after and like just be chic and be
- 4:54Speaker 3: seen and be sheina. Oh my god, but you're listening
- 5:04Speaker 3: to this podcast now, so while you're at it, give
- 5:06Speaker 3: us a follow, give us a like, subscribe, like nice review.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Let's welcome ourselves in to the first episode of The
- 5:15Speaker 3: Great British Bakings.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Showy season thirteen.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Season thirteen.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Wow, and this is only the second season that I've
- 5:25Speaker 3: been watching this thanks to you, Emily.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and now you get it because a year ago
- 5:33Speaker 1: when we were recapping this and you were like, oh,
- 5:35Speaker 1: that was cool that Paul gave a handshake to the
- 5:38Speaker 1: third person in the opening two minutes of the show,
- 5:42Speaker 1: and I was like, that was not cool, Amy. These
- 5:45Speaker 1: burning handshakes left and right don't matter. Yeah, So I
- 5:49Speaker 1: will just open this with I was very glad spoiler alert,
- 5:54Speaker 1: no handshakes this second episode.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I think they heard you. I think they heard you
- 5:58Speaker 3: all over and all the way over in the UK.
- 6:00Speaker 3: And by the way, I have a lot of darlings
- 6:03Speaker 3: in the UK.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I see you.
- 6:05Speaker 3: I know, I get the numbers and I love you guys.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Hello, hello, Hello.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Thank you for listening to this podcast. So I hope
- 6:14Speaker 3: you like our British Invasion Mondays because for the like
- 6:17Speaker 3: the next following several we're going to be doing The
- 6:20Speaker 3: Real Housewives of London and The Great British Baking Show.
- 6:23Speaker 3: So hats off to you, darlings, and please message me,
- 6:28Speaker 3: you know, let me know what you think. Okay, drama
- 6:30Speaker 3: Darlings with a Z at gmail dot com. I will
- 6:33Speaker 3: read your comments on the show. And great to see
- 6:37Speaker 3: the cast back looking fabulous, looking healthy. It was a
- 6:41Speaker 3: bit of a jump scare to see everybody in that
- 6:44Speaker 3: Jurassic Park promo.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Okay, that was my favorite promo that bakeoff has done.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Oh really, so they do a lot of these, because
- 6:51Speaker 3: I don't remember promo last year.
- 6:54Speaker 1: They always opened the season with it.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Last year they always do Jurassic Park.
- 7:00Speaker 1: They always to Jurassic Park. But this year, like they
- 7:03Speaker 1: brought it back to the nineteen ninety three Jurassic No,
- 7:07Speaker 1: but they did Barbie one year. But it just felt
- 7:09Speaker 1: like a be too late and this is like, let's
- 7:13Speaker 1: not even go for time late. And I was but
- 7:16Speaker 1: it was great, so good.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I love I mean, the dinosaur was fantastic. Those pants,
- 7:22Speaker 3: I'm in the pants. You want to see pants on
- 7:24Speaker 3: a dinosaur and with British humor. That's what you're gonna get,
- 7:28Speaker 3: and that's what we got.
- 7:28Speaker 4: And I loved it.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Oh, I thought you were talking about pruise makeup and
- 7:31Speaker 1: hair and beard. I thought that's where you met what
- 7:33Speaker 1: you said, pants on a dinosaur beard on her face?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Oh wow, Well bob bam bam, bam, bam, bam bam bam.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Whoa Okay, love how hard she went for it. That
- 7:45Speaker 1: was awesome.
- 7:46Speaker 3: She was so committed like us. I was really proud
- 7:50Speaker 3: of her. I was proud. It seemed like she did
- 7:53Speaker 3: some acting technique work. I don't know, it just felt
- 7:55Speaker 3: like that.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It was great and the actually made me like when
- 8:01Speaker 1: Noel said about creating a dinosaur or a Paul Hollywood
- 8:07Speaker 1: was yeah, you could have, but you should have. But
- 8:10Speaker 1: could you have? You like flipped that could have and show.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:17Speaker 4: He is so funny.
- 8:18Speaker 2: You know.
- 8:18Speaker 3: One of the things I love about him is when
- 8:21Speaker 3: he's talking to the contestants, he you know that term lately,
- 8:26Speaker 3: which is like matching energy. Yeah, so it's so overused,
- 8:31Speaker 3: it's very trendy. But he he's not like a comedian
- 8:36Speaker 3: that comes like table to table and makes it about
- 8:40Speaker 3: him and does all his jokes on his own and
- 8:43Speaker 3: like to the camera, and he connects with each baker
- 8:49Speaker 3: and he brings out the best in each person.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Do you notice it really does?
- 8:54Speaker 5: Oh?
- 8:54Speaker 1: I know, I know I noticed it right away because
- 8:57Speaker 1: like when he first came on a couple of years ago,
- 8:59Speaker 1: people nervous because like he's such an absurdist comic, like
- 9:03Speaker 1: from the Mighty Boosh, and so people are like, what
- 9:07Speaker 1: the hell is this going to be? But it was great,
- 9:09Speaker 1: Like he's so gentle when he needs to be. He
- 9:11Speaker 1: kind of does bits. He's only once in a while
- 9:14Speaker 1: going to knock a cake off a counter.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I mean right right, that was yep, yep.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But he uh, he's.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Great because he's so kooky.
- 9:24Speaker 3: He like loosens people up, and then when he goes
- 9:27Speaker 3: and jokes around with them, they feel comfortable joking around
- 9:30Speaker 3: with him. And that is a very rare gift to
- 9:33Speaker 3: have in a comedian, in anybody, in a host anything
- 9:37Speaker 3: like that, because you know, and so I just want
- 9:40Speaker 3: to say hats off to him.
- 9:41Speaker 4: He's He's amazing.
- 9:42Speaker 1: The whole cast amazing laughs when they make a joke,
- 9:46Speaker 1: which is huge for disarming them and making them feel
- 9:49Speaker 1: comfortable and making them look better, and that's what I'm saying.
- 9:52Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. And he genuinely is just delighting
- 9:56Speaker 3: in all of it, Like I love it. He just
- 9:58Speaker 3: brings so much joy to the whole show. I honestly
- 10:02Speaker 3: don't know like what they would do without him because
- 10:04Speaker 3: he's such a huge like he to me is like
- 10:07Speaker 3: the heart and soul of it. I mean, the judges
- 10:09Speaker 3: are obviously great, I understand, but like he really is
- 10:11Speaker 3: the glue. He kind of brings the baking judges and
- 10:16Speaker 3: then the host side together along with the contestants.
- 10:19Speaker 4: And I stand firm on that.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I watch all these no Fielder hitters be like
- 10:26Speaker 1: dear drama darling, no.
- 10:30Speaker 2: No.
- 10:30Speaker 1: But I also think Alison is the purpose fit.
- 10:34Speaker 4: She is amazing.
- 10:35Speaker 3: And when they were doing the Jurassic Park bit and
- 10:38Speaker 3: Noel like booped her on the nose and she was
- 10:41Speaker 3: like totally dying laughing. I love that bar They're so cute.
- 10:46Speaker 3: I love her class act, class act. All right, Well, listen,
- 10:51Speaker 3: even though it's been one hundred degrees up here in
- 10:53Speaker 3: Santa Clarita, it is going to turn into fall here
- 10:56Speaker 3: at some point. And I know wherever you guys live,
- 10:59Speaker 3: it's probably turning out to fall a lot sooner than here.
- 11:01Speaker 3: And I just love the feeling of starting to watch
- 11:04Speaker 3: this show with like, you know, because it feels like fall.
- 11:08Speaker 3: You want to start baking, you want to start cooking more,
- 11:10Speaker 3: and it's just a cozy show.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So it is a cozy show. Yeah, I feel like
- 11:16Speaker 1: it started. It starts a little later usually, but like
- 11:19Speaker 1: it's always about this time. But I was very hot
- 11:22Speaker 1: watching it. I was like, why am I so hot
- 11:25Speaker 1: watching bake Off?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Well, that will go away soon. Just let's let's hang tight.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Let's hang tight. The first challenge, what is called the
- 11:35Speaker 3: first challenge Emily Eminett.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Is the signature sorry, thank you actually signature signature technical
- 11:43Speaker 1: and then.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Showstopper okay, signature challenge swiss roll with two different fillings,
- 11:50Speaker 3: creating the perfect swell dolling. All right, listen, if you
- 11:55Speaker 3: don't want to hear about sponge cake, turn the channel.
- 11:57Speaker 3: You know, don't, don't listen, because it's all about the
- 12:00Speaker 3: sponge on this show. And I gotta ask a baking question.
- 12:03Speaker 3: And I'm sorry to sound so deft, but are all
- 12:09Speaker 3: cakes sponge cakes just varying degrees of sponges? So, like,
- 12:12Speaker 3: if I am making a cake like at home, like
- 12:15Speaker 3: a birthday cake? Is that a sponge When I get
- 12:17Speaker 3: like a Betty Crocker cake mix, is that a sponge cake?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Like I don't even know sponge Okay, so they're all
- 12:22Speaker 3: sponge cakes, just vary, you know, like how sponge.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Cake looks like a sponge when you look at it,
- 12:27Speaker 1: because it has like it looks as like little holes, Like, yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 1: it's a sponge cake. But that's why when they got
- 12:35Speaker 1: to round two, they were all like, all right, I'm
- 12:37Speaker 1: just going to use my basic kind of sponge cake recipe.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Now you can argue like, but there's pound cake, crumb cake, but.
- 12:44Speaker 3: At the heart of it, it's all sponge Yeah, okay. Well,
- 12:48Speaker 3: you know, with British Baking Show, these judges, they really
- 12:52Speaker 3: throw me for a loop because every single time they
- 12:55Speaker 3: talk about sponge it's like I'm hearing it for the
- 12:58Speaker 3: first time, you know, I'm like, what is this sponge cake?
- 13:01Speaker 3: You know, because the way that they talk about it
- 13:04Speaker 3: every single episode in so many different ways to describe it.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It's amazing to me how you can break down the
- 13:14Speaker 3: same type of cake based on just the amount of
- 13:18Speaker 3: time you're baking it and perhaps the amount of different ingredients,
- 13:22Speaker 3: but they're always the same ingredients.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Is that Is that what we're looking for here?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I mean I think so, yeah, I mean, so this
- 13:28Speaker 1: one has is gonna take because it has to have
- 13:31Speaker 1: more flexibility. So you're gonna probably you know, I forget
- 13:35Speaker 1: what they had to put more of in, but it's
- 13:37Speaker 1: all like at that point, you're just dealing with you.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Know, science, chemicals, yeah, and science. Okay, okay, all right, okay.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I mean that is like a very nuanced thing because
- 13:50Speaker 3: if you're gonna, like for the first like with the
- 13:52Speaker 3: Perfect Swirl Cake, you need to be it's gotta be
- 13:57Speaker 3: spongy enough to do the rolling.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, gotta beautiful and he can't pull apart and.
- 14:04Speaker 3: It can't fall apart. Dude, I don't even know that.
- 14:08Speaker 3: This first episode honestly was giving me so much anxiety.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I had a lot of like this was tough to watch.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I mean with like the cakes that were falling apart, well,
- 14:17Speaker 3: I mean the cake that fell apart Ian's cake and
- 14:21Speaker 3: the other challenge.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Oh my god, show yes that can be a heart attack.
- 14:28Speaker 3: But with the Perfect Swirl Cake, I mean this was
- 14:32Speaker 3: them doing these inlay designs.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I was like how do they do that?
- 14:35Speaker 3: And to see them sketch it out then have to
- 14:38Speaker 3: do such specific you know, thank you piping with the
- 14:44Speaker 3: design freeze it. And then when Wats's toes forgot to
- 14:49Speaker 3: put the flour in his leg and then like had
- 14:55Speaker 3: to scrape it off of the design, I was like,
- 14:57Speaker 3: I can't, I cannot watch this.
- 14:58Speaker 4: This is stressing me out.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I got very nervous for him.
- 15:03Speaker 4: He was.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He was definitely the one I was like, oh, oh,
- 15:07Speaker 1: boys out soon. But that Hassan.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Was like hold on, okay, okay, yeah he I mean
- 15:17Speaker 5: this guy wow, And everyone was having to do things
- 15:20Speaker 5: over again, like two people had to like redo their
- 15:23Speaker 5: kords and way I.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Don't know, and then someone had to redo their karmel.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Wasn't it Hassan who had to redo the I don't.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, Hassan had to do. I mean also like yah, Camel, Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Caramel's if I've learned anything, I've learned karmel is very
- 15:38Speaker 1: hard in the tent. And I think it's because you
- 15:41Speaker 1: make it a certain way at home and because it's
- 15:43Speaker 1: really hard to figure out depending on what you need
- 15:46Speaker 1: it for, that's your you kind of change your whole baseline.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Once you get into that tent and it's like you
- 15:54Speaker 1: don't know how hot it's going to be. You don't know,
- 15:56Speaker 1: like you just aren't dealing with the same things you
- 15:59Speaker 1: deal with at home.
- 16:01Speaker 3: That like the nerves just being in there and then
- 16:04Speaker 3: having to do what you may have done a bunch
- 16:06Speaker 3: of times. And then but then you get these other
- 16:08Speaker 3: contestants who are like, well, I tried this once, hope
- 16:10Speaker 3: it works again. And Stopper that was also a son,
- 16:18Speaker 3: I'm so bummed, like he uh he left right he was, Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 3: he had to go.
- 16:25Speaker 4: He was like, I was bummed because his personality was
- 16:29Speaker 4: so fun.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I here's I'm pitching this to you, bake off producers
- 16:35Speaker 1: one season where it's all just get all the people
- 16:39Speaker 1: that exited on the first episode and put them on
- 16:42Speaker 1: Love Island. Would actually I want to see the song.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And they have instead of making breakfast for each other,
- 16:52Speaker 3: they have to like make a perfect sponge of.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Something hot in the hot ass sun. Yes, right right, yeah,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I think yeah, it would be great to see all
- 17:02Speaker 1: those people that had to leave right away come back
- 17:05Speaker 1: for a full season and just see because they have
- 17:09Speaker 1: they've they've vetted all these people. They all deserve to
- 17:13Speaker 1: be there, And what I've heard the judges say is
- 17:15Speaker 1: that bakers are getting better and better. So have the
- 17:18Speaker 1: people that left the first round come back and make
- 17:21Speaker 1: that you're thirteen or whatever.
- 17:22Speaker 3: To think that there are thousands of people who tried
- 17:25Speaker 3: to get on this show and you got someone who's
- 17:28Speaker 3: like I tried this at home once.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I'm like, how did you get through? You know what
- 17:32Speaker 4: I mean?
- 17:33Speaker 1: Right? Yeah? I think I felt Sometimes there's those ones
- 17:40Speaker 1: that are like, I don't know, I'm winging it, and
- 17:42Speaker 1: then they crush it, and so I never know where
- 17:47Speaker 1: to land on that.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Okay, fair enough, fair enough, Well I want to go
- 17:52Speaker 3: through some of these swirls because I was very impressed
- 17:57Speaker 3: obviously Ian who did his like school, that was insane,
- 18:04Speaker 3: I know. I mean that it looked like it was
- 18:06Speaker 3: going to be a winner, just based on the sketch
- 18:08Speaker 3: alone when we saw what he was going to do,
- 18:11Speaker 3: and then when we saw him doing his inlay. But
- 18:14Speaker 3: of course you're worried about how it's all going to
- 18:16Speaker 3: come together, and to the fact that it was incredible
- 18:19Speaker 3: and I actually loved it looked really good too. It
- 18:22Speaker 3: had cherry jam, it had marshmallow cream, now the fifteens.
- 18:27Speaker 3: The fifteen like smart, it was like it's some coconut digestives.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like all these like junk foods over there.
- 18:35Speaker 1: That's why they were making fun of him for like
- 18:37Speaker 1: the combination of ingredients. Oh yeah, the fifteens is fifteen
- 18:44Speaker 1: of each main ingredient, So fifteen digestive biscuits, which are
- 18:49Speaker 1: cookies that have chocolate on him for Americans, fifteen marshmallows,
- 18:53Speaker 1: fifteen candied cherries, and then condensed milk and coconut for coating.
- 18:59Speaker 1: It's like a tray bake, you know, you put it
- 19:01Speaker 1: in and like bark it up or whatever. Got it?
- 19:03Speaker 3: And I remember now from last year that I learned
- 19:06Speaker 3: that their cookies are digestives.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Well, right, that's the brand. That's a brand.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a brand. Oh okay, yeah yeah, whereas it's terrible. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 3: but they're great here. It's like a compari, you know,
- 19:20Speaker 3: a drink at the end of your mail. Yeah right,
- 19:26Speaker 3: but yeah, he his was amazing.
- 19:28Speaker 4: I loved it.
- 19:29Speaker 3: It was a great challenge they put them through the
- 19:31Speaker 3: ringer because these these like rolls, these little Swiss rolls
- 19:34Speaker 3: were so challenging. And then the landscape cake was intense. Okay,
- 19:39Speaker 3: So moving on with the Swiss rolls. Uh, the Puimns.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I liked, She's really good. I like her her lemon
- 19:48Speaker 3: and Macha Swiss roll looked really good. She looks like
- 19:50Speaker 3: a very talented baker.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Well yeah, but Manda come out of the gate with Macha.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Paul does not like Macha.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I don't blame, so I don't. I wouldn't like it either,
- 20:01Speaker 3: So that's that was tricky.
- 20:03Speaker 1: That was fine. I'm just saying, Look, if Amy or
- 20:07Speaker 1: Paul is your judge, know what they like, right, know
- 20:10Speaker 1: what they don't like, and don't do that.
- 20:13Speaker 4: That's smart. I don't, at least on the smart.
- 20:15Speaker 1: First challenge, don't do it like work your way into it.
- 20:20Speaker 1: To me, I'm like, I don't know much about Paul Hollywood,
- 20:23Speaker 1: but I know he doesn't like Machia.
- 20:25Speaker 4: You should know that, everybody.
- 20:28Speaker 3: You should know that Aaron did not finish that Honeybee thing.
- 20:33Speaker 4: That was a bummer.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Oh so I thought he did, Like then I thought
- 20:39Speaker 1: he did finish shit, And then they were like, this
- 20:41Speaker 1: looks better without it, But you think he didn't finish.
- 20:45Speaker 3: He only finished half of the top of the icing.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Oh okay, well it was like a shell and then
- 20:52Speaker 1: they lifted it off. I thought that was intentional, but
- 20:55Speaker 1: I guess not.
- 20:56Speaker 4: It didn't look finished to me.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Well see that's what So.
- 21:02Speaker 4: That's what Pruce said, that's the new like, that's what
- 21:05Speaker 4: she said. She said, that's what said. Are you a
- 21:10Speaker 4: lemon person? Like, oh yeah, you totally are you? Like
- 21:13Speaker 4: oh yeah, yeah, so that's what.
- 21:14Speaker 3: It's really good to me too. It's a hole out
- 21:18Speaker 3: of that roll. Yeah, it right in the middle, down
- 21:21Speaker 3: the middle, down the right down. Shoving it through Hassan's
- 21:25Speaker 3: chocolate mess with just those shards of chocolate sticking up looked.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Just like such a disaster.
- 21:32Speaker 3: It's always fun to see though, Like I can't lie,
- 21:35Speaker 3: it's fun to see a disaster cake.
- 21:39Speaker 1: But it tasted great. So then I was like, well,
- 21:41Speaker 1: he might be here, like he might have saved it,
- 21:45Speaker 1: because sometimes that saves it, because if something's not edible
- 21:48Speaker 1: or ror, as Paul would say, it's roar in the middle,
- 21:53Speaker 1: it's not cooked, it's rar, then that gets you right
- 21:59Speaker 1: down under the bottom. Yeah, and we might be at
- 22:02Speaker 1: home being like, but it looks so cool.
- 22:04Speaker 3: That's it doesn't taste good. It doesn't matter it's not
- 22:08Speaker 3: Cake Boss. All right, we're not doing.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Ma'am.
- 22:13Speaker 1: No, wait, what do you say? Are you saying cake
- 22:16Speaker 1: bus doesn't taste good?
- 22:17Speaker 2: No?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Are you saying cake busses?
- 22:19Speaker 3: Rok?
- 22:21Speaker 4: Listen.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I don't want cake Boss coming for me because I
- 22:24Speaker 3: freaking love the Cake Boss.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Like, yeah, I hadn't.
- 22:27Speaker 3: We all had an addiction to cake Boss at one
- 22:30Speaker 3: point or another. But no, I just think that like
- 22:33Speaker 3: that show is only based on the design, has nothing
- 22:35Speaker 3: to do with the taste or the flavor.
- 22:37Speaker 4: And you know, getting.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Enough the stairs, this gate stairs, Yeah, we.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Didn't get it through this door. How are we going
- 22:44Speaker 4: to do the door into the truck in this amount
- 22:47Speaker 4: of time?
- 22:48Speaker 1: When my dad built the bakery, he made a hobbit
- 22:51Speaker 1: hole sized tunnel for us to build cakes and move
- 22:54Speaker 1: them through, and then he put ten flights of stairs.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And now I'm here with the cake.
- 23:02Speaker 3: So we have a crane and a bucket and we're
- 23:05Speaker 3: gonna just you know, use a Pulley system down.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right. So I got this pocketbook, cack. This
- 23:14Speaker 4: lady wants a pocket book cake.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I forgot about pocket book. It takes me right back.
- 23:25Speaker 4: We love it. We love it.
- 23:28Speaker 3: The closest I can come to this Swiss role is
- 23:32Speaker 3: I've done a log roll before, so didn't have two
- 23:36Speaker 3: different fillings. And when these gals, when these people, I
- 23:39Speaker 3: should say, are throwing in like large chunks of strawberry,
- 23:44Speaker 3: I'm like, you know what you deserve. You deserve to
- 23:47Speaker 3: not have your role roll. Okay, what do you expect?
- 23:52Speaker 3: You think you could mush it up a little bit,
- 23:55Speaker 3: it's getting lumpy. How are you going to roll this thing?
- 23:59Speaker 1: You are right? And I think Amy, your log cake
- 24:02Speaker 1: is a Swiss roll.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I would say, oh, thank you, give yourself very much.
- 24:07Speaker 1: And I'm facing I don't think you have to have
- 24:09Speaker 1: two flavors, because like Little Debbie is a Swiss roll.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess it is a Swiss roll.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You're right, Yeah, pat yourself on the back.
- 24:19Speaker 3: I'm going to oh, my arth right his hand. I
- 24:23Speaker 3: love a nice log roll. And I guess it's called
- 24:25Speaker 3: a log roll because I've only made it the holidays
- 24:28Speaker 3: and that's why I'm calling it a log roll. But
- 24:30Speaker 3: any other time of the year it would be a
- 24:31Speaker 3: Swiss roll.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And they've made log rolls on there too. I think, yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 1: we're getting caught up in the names.
- 24:38Speaker 4: But are semantics.
- 24:40Speaker 1: We've been to each of these destinations.
- 24:42Speaker 3: But you know, when I've rolled it up, you know
- 24:44Speaker 3: what really helps.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Cheese cloth. You have to be beautiful, beautiful.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Cheese cloth in order to lay your spongee on that
- 24:55Speaker 3: and simply roll it. I've tried a cheese cloth, and
- 25:02Speaker 3: I've also tried just a plain old kitchen towel.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Both work. Both work.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That sounds and what was your design?
- 25:11Speaker 3: It was a log? I mean it was a fucking
- 25:15Speaker 3: I'm joking, oh Christmas ass motherfucking chocolate log with powdered
- 25:21Speaker 3: sugar like it was left out in the fucking snow.
- 25:24Speaker 2: MLA wa, sorry, what is yours?
- 25:35Speaker 1: I don't definitely not anything that. It was just like
- 25:38Speaker 1: chocolate and like hard ass vanilla icing because like that's
- 25:44Speaker 1: I remember making it when I was a kid, and
- 25:46Speaker 1: that was like my mom's jam was like this shit icing.
- 25:50Speaker 1: It was like coil icing times, Like my mom is
- 25:54Speaker 1: really awesome at designing and making cakes. Oh, but the
- 25:59Speaker 1: icing for me was always like they killed it. It
- 26:02Speaker 1: was like that seventies eighties homemade icing that was just like.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Wow, it'll knack in the face, yeah, yes, right right,
- 26:10Speaker 3: it's gonna stick you know.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah it does.
- 26:14Speaker 4: You could have used it for that fond and fancy.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 3: But anyway, Ian won the swirl thing. I mean, I
- 26:22Speaker 3: just want to mention Tom's Tartan roll looked really cool.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Did you have a favorite one? I really like the
- 26:27Speaker 3: Tartan one.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Tartan was very cool. It hit me right out of
- 26:31Speaker 1: the gate. But I gotta give it up to Ian
- 26:33Speaker 1: because I didn't think he could pull it off, and
- 26:35Speaker 1: he did.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay, very good, very good.
- 26:39Speaker 3: So now we get to the technical challenge where you
- 26:41Speaker 3: have nine perfectly decorated fond and fancies, taste and bake
- 26:46Speaker 3: under the Gingham blankie is in fact what they need
- 26:51Speaker 3: to use or not use? So let me ask you this.
- 26:54Speaker 3: So they gave him crushed up almonds? Was that to
- 26:58Speaker 3: throw them off? Was that like, oh okay, this was.
- 27:01Speaker 1: The first ever, like just go for it.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Oh, it was the first ever go for it.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Like no recipe to follow, just to they didn't really
- 27:10Speaker 1: like they did no recipe last year though, which one well.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I don't remember what they made, but I remember that
- 27:17Speaker 3: being no recipe.
- 27:18Speaker 6: No.
- 27:19Speaker 1: This one was just like have this thing, try it,
- 27:22Speaker 1: this is what we're and then recreate it. So that
- 27:26Speaker 1: they had five minutes with the thing and then they
- 27:30Speaker 1: took it away, which I didn't think i'd seen that before.
- 27:34Speaker 3: You know what, I'm sorry, I probably am getting it
- 27:36Speaker 3: confused with Top Chef, to be honest with you. Oh okay, yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 3: because I have seen that before. So if it wasn't
- 27:41Speaker 3: on this, it was definitely on Top Chef.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought that was cool because that's what you
- 27:46Speaker 1: would do if you were like traveling around trying to
- 27:48Speaker 1: figure out like inspiration for something, you would try it
- 27:51Speaker 1: and then try to recreate it. Yeah, so I thought
- 27:54Speaker 1: it was a great idea.
- 27:55Speaker 3: I did too, and boy did those look terrible. I mean,
- 27:58Speaker 3: every last one of them. I'm gonna lie. I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 28:03Speaker 3: going nasty.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Except for late and It's like, this is really good.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna make this tonight when I get home, and
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm like okay, and then Paul's like, oh, you.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Do that, buddy, And why don't you, you know, based
- 28:15Speaker 3: on your taste level, why don't you stay home with Hassan? Okay,
- 28:19Speaker 3: I'm just stay home. And Prue was just like everything,
- 28:23Speaker 3: it's clumsy, it's clumsy. It's clumsy. That is clumsy, too,
- 28:28Speaker 3: clumsy I'm like, yeah, it's clumsy and looking disgusting. Jessica won.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Oh no, Jessica's second place. Toby was first despite the
- 28:40Speaker 3: ground almonds.
- 28:41Speaker 4: How did he get away with that?
- 28:42Speaker 2: Well?
- 28:43Speaker 1: No, I think everyone did almonds. So that's why Paul
- 28:46Speaker 1: was like, hold up, you're winning first in like a
- 28:49Speaker 1: list of shit.
- 28:50Speaker 3: So right. Yeah. They were like yeah, He's like, no, no,
- 28:53Speaker 3: you don't anybody applaud.
- 28:57Speaker 4: That was kind of funny.
- 28:58Speaker 3: He's like, slow yours Swiss rolls, okay, when we're not
- 29:03Speaker 3: cheering for this challenge. Do you have anything else to
- 29:08Speaker 3: say on those little you know, those fencecenes.
- 29:11Speaker 1: No, because I will like the landscape cakes.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Okay, talk to me about the landscape cakes. What did
- 29:17Speaker 3: you think that was crazy?
- 29:19Speaker 4: Jane?
- 29:20Speaker 1: It was crazy, Jane. I felt bad that that guy's
- 29:25Speaker 1: little jello pond fell apart. I think that was also
- 29:30Speaker 1: the guy that won the technical right, was that Toby.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Toby had the Jacob's Ladder and he had that little
- 29:38Speaker 3: water feature.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah feature, because a lot of these, if you google
- 29:43Speaker 1: landscape cakes, like a lot of them are like half
- 29:46Speaker 1: like a gelatin thing and they are like water. They
- 29:48Speaker 1: look like the inside of an ocean. With a big
- 29:51Speaker 1: cliff and they're like really cool looking. But I think
- 29:55Speaker 1: that those need a lot of time to set, and
- 29:58Speaker 1: I just don't think that they had that time. But
- 30:04Speaker 1: and then I was like, I was kind of frustrated
- 30:08Speaker 1: that people were just drawing pictures on a regular cake.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah, well, now that I understand more about what it's
- 30:18Speaker 3: like to build, you know, one of these landscape cakes
- 30:22Speaker 3: that you're supposed to really make the landscape like the terrain. Yeah,
- 30:27Speaker 3: when you get over to Jasmine's Scottish Highland, it's like,
- 30:32Speaker 3: what are we doing? You know, you're just tearing up
- 30:34Speaker 3: a regular cake and then putting, you know, drawing trees
- 30:39Speaker 3: on it with mushrooms.
- 30:41Speaker 4: So I agree with you.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Now, a landscape cake is a great idea to do
- 30:46Speaker 3: with like your young child who doesn't.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Really want to bake.
- 30:50Speaker 3: But you're like, crush up these oreos and just like
- 30:53Speaker 3: scatter them all over this side, you know, because it
- 30:56Speaker 3: seems like it could be messy and fun.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Right when they're slicing those cakes down, I'd be like,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I was like, give me all them scraps. Yeah, I
- 31:05Speaker 1: want to eat all the cake scraps.
- 31:08Speaker 3: I didn't think that I would like it so much
- 31:10Speaker 3: from a taste standpoint when they cut it. But I
- 31:13Speaker 3: was like, oh, it really doesn't matter if it's in
- 31:16Speaker 3: this type of form as long as it just is
- 31:19Speaker 3: good inside. And it seems very challenging to do a
- 31:22Speaker 3: landscape cake and then still have the layers be somewhat intact,
- 31:26Speaker 3: Like I don't know, I don't know how they do that.
- 31:29Speaker 4: That's well, it's hard.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I really can't believe Ian pulled it off. I've never
- 31:34Speaker 1: seen somebody go from where he was total destruction to
- 31:41Speaker 1: like excellent.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Really, in all the thirteen seasons, you've never seen that.
- 31:46Speaker 1: No, because usually what happens is they have a real
- 31:50Speaker 1: moment and then they just kind of get it to
- 31:55Speaker 1: as good as it can be and then they pull
- 31:59Speaker 1: bring it up to judged and Paul and Brute tell
- 32:01Speaker 1: them why it didn't work, and then they either. But
- 32:06Speaker 1: it's still like the most horrible day. Not only did
- 32:09Speaker 1: that not happen, they didn't even bring it up. They
- 32:11Speaker 1: didn't even say like we heard like there was some
- 32:14Speaker 1: structure issues here or anything like. Ian brought that cake
- 32:17Speaker 1: up and they were like, well done, this is amazing,
- 32:19Speaker 1: a real triumph.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Seamless all.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I mean, it was a perfect example of faking it
- 32:29Speaker 3: till you make it and just being like, this is
- 32:32Speaker 3: what I intended on doing. But when that thing started
- 32:35Speaker 3: to collapse, like you know, like molten lava, yeah, coming
- 32:42Speaker 3: out of a volcano, I just did not think there
- 32:46Speaker 3: was any way for him to get it back. And
- 32:48Speaker 3: quite frankly, I don't know how he did. How did
- 32:51Speaker 3: he do that?
- 32:52Speaker 1: He put it in the freezer so it like got solid,
- 32:56Speaker 1: and then he just had before it. Yeah, we reformed it,
- 33:00Speaker 1: put in the freezer and then like it had enough
- 33:03Speaker 1: time to like seal up a little bit, And I
- 33:06Speaker 1: was like, they better cut into that cake quick before.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Right, right? May better?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Oh and then what about the leaning Tower of Mumbles?
- 33:15Speaker 3: That was so funny that made me laugh.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Mumbles, mumbles, We made mumbles. I'm making mumbles. Uh Yeah.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I also really love Natalia's Ukraine landscape cake.
- 33:27Speaker 4: That was amazing.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I like, with a little heart on Kiev. I thought
- 33:30Speaker 1: that was awesome.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Yes on Kiev or do you pronounce it Kiev?
- 33:36Speaker 1: Kiev? Did I say Kiev?
- 33:38Speaker 4: Well it sounded like it.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Wow, take this cancel this episode.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I mean to call you out, but I'm pretty sure. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I'm bringing it up, it's a disaster, and tell me
- 33:54Speaker 1: how I screwed up the structure and send me home.
- 33:57Speaker 3: I'm leaving the pronunciation the pronunciation tent.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Pronounce the yes, I will say. Who did that apple cake?
- 34:09Speaker 3: Oh?
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 34:10Speaker 4: Was that Jasmine? Let me see here with.
- 34:13Speaker 1: The with the apples from her neighbor's tree.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that was really sweet and.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Smart because Prue loves loves loves an apple cake.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Oh she does.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so I thought, good on you, smart Jessica. It
- 34:27Speaker 1: was Jessica. She had a little hammock on it. She
- 34:31Speaker 1: had the but Paul said it's a big hammock and
- 34:33Speaker 1: She's like, I'm a big girl.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Well it was really sweeter story about was it her
- 34:39Speaker 3: neighbor whose apple tee?
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, a friend that was in her nineties and
- 34:44Speaker 1: then died before she could see her on bakeoff, So
- 34:47Speaker 1: she saved apples from her tree and then brought them.
- 34:51Speaker 4: That's really sweet.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Yeah, great first step, great first app Absolutely loved it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: All right, Well, you guys, we're going to take a
- 34:59Speaker 3: quick break. When we come back, we're talking the Real
- 35:01Speaker 3: Housewives of London. Stay right there, Let's head into this
- 35:05Speaker 3: fall season and let's get healthy you guys, yeeha, have
- 35:09Speaker 3: you ever heard of Cowboy colostrum. I'm so excited to
- 35:12Speaker 3: be doing this ad. We've all been there, eating clean,
- 35:15Speaker 3: taking your supplements, doing everything right, but your gut still
- 35:20Speaker 3: feels off, your energy is low, your skin's not glowing.
- 35:23Speaker 4: You know what.
- 35:24Speaker 3: It's hard being a cabaret star like myself. So I'm
- 35:26Speaker 3: trying to gear up for my show in November, and
- 35:29Speaker 3: I'm so glad that Cowboy Colostrum is along for the ride,

- 36:15Speaker 3: of a sweet tooth, get the strawberry, which is just restocked.
- 36:19Speaker 3: That's the word on the street, and it tastes like
- 36:21Speaker 3: a milkshake. People swear by this for gut health, hair growth, immunity,
- 36:26Speaker 3: and recovery, and I need all of those. I need
- 36:28Speaker 3: my nutrients and my antibodies this fall.

- 37:07Speaker 3: talking the Real Housewives of London. This is our British invasion.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Emily Theresa's is joining me and I'll tell you what,
- 37:15Speaker 3: watching this really invigorated me for the type of aspirational
- 37:22Speaker 3: housewives that I really enjoy. You know, here in the US,
- 37:26Speaker 3: we have very little of those left in terms of
- 37:28Speaker 3: like money and things like that, so.
- 37:31Speaker 1: We know too much. I'm sure if like this show
- 37:35Speaker 1: just started, we would be like, whoa, you know, Jen
- 37:41Speaker 1: and Tamra have are loaded. But then we would be like,
- 37:44Speaker 1: wait a second, they've been sued a hundred times, Like
- 37:48Speaker 1: we know too much.
- 37:49Speaker 3: So not to say we won't, you know, uncover that
- 37:52Speaker 3: with London, I mean, I guess we don't really know
- 37:54Speaker 3: what that's saying.
- 37:55Speaker 4: That's okay, but I.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Mean Panthea talking about how she spent like the equivalent
- 37:59Speaker 3: of three hundred dollars in heron's one day.
- 38:02Speaker 1: So did Erica Jane and look where we are.
- 38:05Speaker 4: And there you go.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Yeah, And then we had Juliette, who's like or Amanda. No,
- 38:10Speaker 3: I think it was Juliette, who's like her last husband.
- 38:12Speaker 3: They were in such social demand that they were on
- 38:15Speaker 3: like six superyachts in three months.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the Australian that has to be your current
- 38:21Speaker 1: husband because they've been married twenty years.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Right, Oh sure, I don't know. You know, I'm just
- 38:27Speaker 3: getting to know these ladies. This is the first episode
- 38:30Speaker 3: I will say.
- 38:30Speaker 4: I'm going to get it all right.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'm with you, I'm going to get everything wrong. I
- 38:34Speaker 1: think I'm totally with you on the aspirational stuff because
- 38:38Speaker 1: I am like totally blown away. But then the second
- 38:41Speaker 1: I googled like Amanda, I was like, oh, oh really.
- 38:45Speaker 3: She seems so impressive with her skincare line and like
- 38:49Speaker 3: everything she said in her incredible home and it's a
- 38:52Speaker 3: stone's throw from the castle, and I mean it's just
- 38:55Speaker 3: so many things.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Got a settlement. She got a sudden like settlement in
- 39:00Speaker 1: her divorce. Oh sudden strack style settlement. Woo, like hundreds
- 39:05Speaker 1: of millions of dollars. So yeah, like of course, like
- 39:08Speaker 1: she's got a lot of money to fund a great
- 39:11Speaker 1: skincare line to just try or I mean if it
- 39:16Speaker 1: was in the US, it could be a write off.
- 39:18Speaker 1: But like yeah, I was just like all right, because
- 39:22Speaker 1: I was like wow, like what's how did she fund this?
- 39:25Speaker 3: And then I also thought it was her company had
- 39:28Speaker 3: been going on for a long time the way that
- 39:31Speaker 3: she was, like, im she the first person in the
- 39:34Speaker 3: UK or in England to have done this at Sacks Oh.
- 39:42Speaker 1: In twenty twenty two.
- 39:44Speaker 6: What happened?
- 39:46Speaker 1: She started her sign Caroline on the.
- 39:49Speaker 3: First person to do this at zaxon twenty twenty two. Here, okay,
- 39:56Speaker 3: I'm bad right now, I see this is your right.
- 39:59Speaker 3: This is where we started the veil. Once we really
- 40:01Speaker 3: get down to breast tacks, and I'm just like letting
- 40:04Speaker 3: I'm getting the broad strokes in right now.
- 40:06Speaker 4: I'm just gonna get you a one at od.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I'll give you a stroke for a broad Do you remember?
- 40:12Speaker 1: This is also what I saw when I googled Amanda.
- 40:15Speaker 1: What is that gal with pe k that we talked
- 40:19Speaker 1: about in the news in June that he was running
- 40:22Speaker 1: around with another housewife?
- 40:24Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's her. Okay, so that's Amanda.
- 40:31Speaker 4: I'm a queen. Now we're talking.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Now, we're talking. Okay, Okay.
- 40:41Speaker 1: We just lifted ever so delicately the veil. Yes, we
- 40:44Speaker 1: have right under.
- 40:46Speaker 3: And then I'm like, well, when are these ladies gonna
- 40:48Speaker 3: like rip each other's faces off? If in fact they will?
- 40:52Speaker 3: And then we get to like the International Woman's Day
- 40:56Speaker 3: as they say, they don't say women's they say Woman's
- 40:59Speaker 3: I'm like, just like Jersey and and they had like
- 41:03Speaker 3: this thought. And then we get like Panthea and Juliet
- 41:09Speaker 3: in this knockdown, dragout dentist like dentist Gate, which is
- 41:14Speaker 3: begging so many questions.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Emilie, Yeah, every time.
- 41:19Speaker 1: It's explained to me, I am so much further away
- 41:22Speaker 1: from Panthea's side of things that I'm back in the
- 41:25Speaker 1: United States because she is just like, doesn't it seem
- 41:29Speaker 1: totally crazy?
- 41:31Speaker 3: It seems completely unrealistic that a dentist would not do
- 41:38Speaker 3: what you ask them to do but then did basically
- 41:42Speaker 3: malpractice by not doing X rays on someone's mouth but
- 41:47Speaker 3: then saying that they're cavities and then doing six or seven.
- 41:51Speaker 3: She didn't even have the number. She didn't even have
- 41:53Speaker 3: the number it was six or seven, didn't even have it.
- 41:56Speaker 4: But Philip, how is that?
- 41:58Speaker 1: Juliet just defended just said like, lighten up on social
- 42:04Speaker 1: media because that the dentist was her friend. So I'm
- 42:08Speaker 1: kind of like, you know, what's up, Panthea, Like, Juliette
- 42:12Speaker 1: didn't do this. And by the way, there's going to
- 42:15Speaker 1: be a second Juliet so.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I know I can't wait. Because Juliette was on the
- 42:19Speaker 3: original Ladies of London, Juliette other Juliet Yes, the other
- 42:23Speaker 3: one who isn't in the first episode.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 42:26Speaker 4: But look, if.
- 42:28Speaker 3: If in fact this dentist did do what Panthea is
- 42:33Speaker 3: saying she did, I suppose I might be going absolutely
- 42:38Speaker 3: bonkers on the internet as well to warn people not
- 42:41Speaker 3: to go to a dentist who's going to go rogue
- 42:43Speaker 3: in your child's mouth. That's true, But I don't know
- 42:47Speaker 3: if any of this is true. Like I said, you
- 42:49Speaker 3: don't even know how many fillings he got. And and
- 42:53Speaker 3: then furthermore, like, what is the what's the dental practice
- 42:58Speaker 3: in the UK?
- 43:00Speaker 4: What are we looking at?
- 43:01Speaker 2: You know?
- 43:01Speaker 3: And were these was she giving him free fillings? And
- 43:04Speaker 3: if so, I mean it's for doing him a favor M.
- 43:10Speaker 3: But I don't think there was. I don't I don't
- 43:14Speaker 3: understand any of that.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I just was like, yeah, I but we're coming out
- 43:20Speaker 1: of the gate pretty hot about like something that first
- 43:23Speaker 1: of all happened six years ago.
- 43:25Speaker 4: That was like six years ago.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's what Juliette M said. She's like, wait,
- 43:32Speaker 1: this is like six years.
- 43:36Speaker 4: That's amazing, Okay, I love it already.
- 43:39Speaker 1: It's But then to Panthea's point, it's been six years
- 43:42Speaker 1: of Juliette m cold shouldering her and acting like she's
- 43:46Speaker 1: above it and whatever. And I can see as a
- 43:50Speaker 1: mother that would be very like you didn't have my
- 43:55Speaker 1: back and then you acted like you're better than me
- 43:57Speaker 1: at social get togethers. But then I'm like, Panthea, you
- 44:02Speaker 1: probably haven't done yourself any favors, because at one point,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I can't believe it. I don't know if it's this
- 44:08Speaker 1: episode or the next one where she's talking about how
- 44:11Speaker 1: she's going to go right up to Prince or now
- 44:13Speaker 1: King Charles and be.
- 44:14Speaker 6: Like, what's up with Harry and get a selfie? Like
- 44:18Speaker 6: don't ask about Harry. It says, don't ask about Harry.
- 44:22Speaker 6: I'm like, I know exactly who Paty is. Yep, I
- 44:27Speaker 6: was gonna say, Nessie seems legit.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Her business story those kids talk about going from the
- 44:33Speaker 3: Great British takeoff to her going from like banking to
- 44:38Speaker 3: baking or whatever it was.
- 44:41Speaker 4: I can't believe those cakes.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I can't believe now sweets, I know.
- 44:46Speaker 3: I love that pancake with the black bows. I absolutely
- 44:49Speaker 3: loved Amanda's fusia dress. I love the clothes, love the
- 44:55Speaker 3: confessional looks. And loving the styles.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I'm really like this was the housewives we needed.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Mmm.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I don't think I could have like hard launched into
- 45:06Speaker 1: another It's so elegant. As they say, it is very
- 45:12Speaker 1: fun to watch.
- 45:13Speaker 3: It is very fun to watch, and I can't wait
- 45:16Speaker 3: till Juliet Angus enters the scene next time we watch
- 45:20Speaker 3: episode two. And then there's another housewife, Karen, who.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah, she had the party. She's having a party. See
- 45:28Speaker 1: I watched the first two episodes, so it's a little
- 45:30Speaker 1: blurry for me, but she's she's going to have a
- 45:32Speaker 1: party at Isabelle. And she has like a six a
- 45:35Speaker 1: five floor oh right, townhouse that she's making into six
- 45:40Speaker 1: and that rehab of that is like years.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Well, it's hard to build. It's hard to build in
- 45:47Speaker 3: London town.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I know that building. There's a couple of them. Do
- 45:52Speaker 1: you remember the They all look like Sonia Morgan's townhouse.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Oh all right, you know what I mean?
- 45:58Speaker 3: Yes, right, right, but like with working toilets and yeah,
- 46:03Speaker 3: you know, somewhat of an upkeep situation. No Tino shade,
- 46:08Speaker 3: but cheers. All right, Well, listen, this is just broad strokes.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Welcome in Real Housewives of London.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Oh Nessie made the Queen's ninetieth birthday cake. Just I'm
- 46:18Speaker 1: very oh yeah, that's rsty.
