Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Peechade. It is Wednesday, whitey Wednesday,
- 0:17Speaker 1: waspy Wednesday.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It has to be something else.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Something else. It's time for the plaths. How about that?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Yeah? Love it?
- 0:27Speaker 1: And if you guys haven't seen Kean's daughter spilling all
- 0:32Speaker 1: the tea on.
- 0:32Speaker 2: The TikTok, I hadn't until I saw the group chat.
- 0:37Speaker 2: And thank you for the tl DR because wow, Yeah,
- 0:45Speaker 2: who knew? Who knew a man who collected slave memorabilia
- 0:51Speaker 2: would not be a good father.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Apparently, according to the daughter, it's c it's like Kristin
- 1:01Speaker 1: but c h R st n l A w R
- 1:04Speaker 1: I C K Kristin Lawrick on TikTok. And she is
- 1:09Speaker 1: one of his three daughters and says that she hasn't
- 1:12Speaker 1: seen him since she was thirteen. He has four he
- 1:15Speaker 1: has four grandsons. He's never met she's married. He's never
- 1:21Speaker 1: met her husband, so he's not an involved parent. She
- 1:25Speaker 1: was like, people sending me these clips about how he
- 1:27Speaker 1: and this other lady you're going to have a baby.
- 1:30Speaker 1: What oh?
- 1:32Speaker 2: And he is three kids from three different women, three.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Kids from three different women. It wasn't like he was this.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Like he's like Nick cannon out here.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, she said, I wanna tell you what,
- 1:46Speaker 1: the minute he has a baby, his favorite thing to
- 1:48Speaker 1: do is to jet away.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And then she had another thing that was pinned that
- 1:55Speaker 1: said that she had just met her younger sister recently.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And I don't know if that's penned from four years
- 2:01Speaker 1: ago or what, but it was like, I recently just
- 2:04Speaker 1: met my younger sister because the parents had a bad
- 2:10Speaker 1: separation and she wasn't ever she never got to know
- 2:12Speaker 1: her youngest sister, and I guess because she was with
- 2:16Speaker 1: a third She said, she has three sisters and they
- 2:18Speaker 1: all have the same dad, but different moms is what
- 2:21Speaker 1: she said. So somehow she wasn't close with the third sister.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But now that they have come to being each other's
- 2:28Speaker 1: lives as adults, she and her husband were about to
- 2:31Speaker 1: like move six hours away to where they were so
- 2:33Speaker 1: they could have a family compound.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:37Speaker 1: So that sounds weird too, But yeah, I don't love
- 2:40Speaker 1: family compound, familyound.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I don't like the word compound, to be perfectly frank.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It makes me think about stockpiling guns and supplies.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I'm not really sure why Kim thinks that he will
- 2:56Speaker 1: be sticking around and living there forever. Right, But I
- 3:00Speaker 1: guess if she does not have a baby, then the
- 3:04Speaker 1: kick around.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah, or as long as she's on TV, there's.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That he's getting that sweet sweet DLC chow.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't. I don't really get what the appeal.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Is here to either one of them.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Actually, no, absolutely, yeah, Again, all Barry does is win, win, win.
- 3:28Speaker 1: The previous for next week is back to cringe level
- 3:31Speaker 1: one hundred, you know.
- 3:33Speaker 2: But it's still entertaining television, and to me that makes
- 3:39Speaker 2: him the winner, okay, because he's he's bringing some levity
- 3:45Speaker 2: to these otherwise dark, dark episodes.
- 3:49Speaker 1: You know. And you have to think that like the
- 3:52Speaker 1: more Berry works out, the more Kimp doesn't work out.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, it's like she's doing I'll show you
- 3:59Speaker 1: you want to work out, I'll do the opposite.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't wait to discuss her reactions to getting
- 4:08Speaker 1: some feedback. She usually doesn't go well for that other
- 4:11Speaker 1: person when you give her feedback.
- 4:14Speaker 2: No, she takes no, she's not an accountability queen.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And no no mm hmm.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she gets some very defensive and but this
- 4:32Speaker 2: is a personal topic to be brought up on TV.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It is.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I would not want it to be brought up on TV.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I would neither. The last thing I would want anybody
- 4:41Speaker 1: to discuss on television is how much weight I gained. Yeah,
- 4:46Speaker 1: I don't exercise. When I say I'm going to, I mean,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you know.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yeah, especially from a man who we can't understand because
- 4:52Speaker 2: it sounds like he has a lifetime supply of tobacco
- 4:55Speaker 2: chew stuck in his throat at all times, you know.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And what you could do to get healthy is maybe
- 5:01Speaker 1: reunite with your children. Yeah, that might be give some
- 5:05Speaker 1: give some back child support payments, maybe maybe.
- 5:09Speaker 3: But down the.
- 5:12Speaker 2: White robe and spit out that chew and call your daughters.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Meet your grandsons. You don't have to have a baby
- 5:21Speaker 1: boy with Kim. Just you've got four grandsons you could
- 5:25Speaker 1: play with. Seriously, they'd love that farm.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, teach them the ways and your beliefs in
- 5:34Speaker 2: doctrinate them.
- 5:35Speaker 1: No, no, stop, Okay, this is Welcome to Platville. Season eight,
- 5:40Speaker 1: episode eight, Up a creek without a paddle, that's a
- 5:44Speaker 1: that's the thing we've heard so yeah me true.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yeah, although on the Screenerge just said up creek, up
- 5:52Speaker 2: creek without a paddle. There was no a and I
- 5:54Speaker 2: thought that was odd.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Oh I would I'll have to watch it on the
- 5:59Speaker 1: regular their TV to see what it says.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, if it said.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Up creek without a paddle on the screener, I didn't
- 6:05Speaker 1: notice because that doesn't make sense. So I wrote up
- 6:08Speaker 1: a creek without a battle.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Of course. Yeah, your brain fixes it for you or
- 6:15Speaker 2: you go crazy.
- 6:18Speaker 1: We're gonna just do this in sections. We'll do Tallahassee,
- 6:21Speaker 1: kro Montana, Wisconsin. Yeah, we're all over the place. Okay,
- 6:26Speaker 1: I have a creek without a battle. Also, where's Micah?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Can somebody get to Miami? Can we get to see Micah?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Wherever the hell he is? Wes Paul, can we go
- 6:34Speaker 1: see Micah? Can somebody see Micah?
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yeah? That beautiful and beautiful dumb face.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're in Tallahassee, Florida, all right. Lydia
- 6:48Speaker 1: is going to get coffee with her friend Mariah, who
- 6:51Speaker 1: is a good friend and one of her bridesmaids. Now,
- 6:55Speaker 1: lucky for you, ooh, lucky for you. I may have
- 6:58Speaker 1: taken it off the board of songs that Lydia.
- 7:03Speaker 2: No, let's see how I heard you? And Keisha, I
- 7:07Speaker 2: don't need more. No, I heard you and Keisha. You
- 7:11Speaker 2: played multiple versions of songs and I was too much.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Well, let me just see if this is it. I
- 7:18Speaker 1: think that this is not it because I did have
- 7:21Speaker 1: Lydia singing with Zach and Mariah. But I don't think
- 7:27Speaker 1: this is it. Let's see.
- 7:29Speaker 2: No, stop, I don't like it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Okay, that was from season eight, but this is from
- 7:36Speaker 1: season three.
- 7:37Speaker 2: No I heard, I heard. I listened to you and Keisha.
- 7:42Speaker 2: All right, ok the second version was slightly better. I
- 7:46Speaker 2: agree with both of you her voices, but not by much.
- 7:50Speaker 2: The bar was so low.
- 7:51Speaker 1: She's not taking any voicelesses.
- 7:53Speaker 2: She is not taking any poodle classes.
- 7:57Speaker 1: No, no, she's not sitting at a piano and learning
- 8:00Speaker 1: how to breathe through her diaphram or whatever. So she's
- 8:04Speaker 1: gonna get coffee with her friend Mariah, who was one
- 8:06Speaker 1: of her old roommates and was one of her bride'smaids.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And she says she met Mariah at church and they've
- 8:12Speaker 1: been best friends ever since. And Mariah goes, so, what's
- 8:17Speaker 1: been going on with you? And she goes, well, I'm
- 8:19Speaker 1: enjoying marriage, discovering marriage, And Mariah goes, what does that
- 8:24Speaker 1: mean discovering marriage.
- 8:25Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry, Mary Payne. They are talking so formally
- 8:30Speaker 2: that it is more like, what does that mean to
- 8:33Speaker 2: you when you say discovering? What does it mean to
- 8:37Speaker 2: you when you say you'd like a cappuccino? What are
- 8:41Speaker 2: you feeling inside when those words come out? Is that
- 8:45Speaker 2: your truth? And Lydia answers just as formally. It's very strange.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It is very strange. And these are two people that
- 8:55Speaker 1: put sticky notes all over their house with their prayers
- 8:58Speaker 1: and sang go tell it on the mountain in the kitchen.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I mean, so these are not these are not deep people.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Well maybe they are. Maybe these people are making Lydia
- 9:09Speaker 1: deep and it's shocking to us. I don't know.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it just felt so formal, like lydia. Was that
- 9:16Speaker 2: a therapy session?
- 9:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, well I think I think Later
- 9:20Speaker 1: Mariah says it, I think they're really trying to help
- 9:23Speaker 1: her be a normal person in the world.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah, So maybe Mariah is not a normal person and
- 9:30Speaker 2: shouldn't be the person to try to help her.

- 11:38Speaker 1: single day? Reddit. I used to think Reddit was just
- 11:41Speaker 1: for finding information out about our ninety day cast members,
- 11:44Speaker 1: but now I'm on there for everything. I'll check reviews
- 11:48Speaker 1: before I buy a new hair dryer, or if I
- 11:50Speaker 1: need to look at some travel tips, and suddenly I'm
- 11:53Speaker 1: deep enough thread about my favorite online game, Sneaky Sasquatch. Yes,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I am probably the oldest person that plays Sneaky Sasquatch
- 12:00Speaker 1: and goes on this thread, but I don't care. Reddit
- 12:02Speaker 1: always has the answers for me when I can't pass
- 12:04Speaker 1: the level. Okay, it's a game for ages four and up.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I digress, Okay, you know I get obsessed with topics
- 12:10Speaker 1: like Billie Eilish or the Ploth family, or to read
- 12:13Speaker 1: mpka's finances from Real Housewives in Beverly Hills. So I
- 12:16Speaker 1: just love going to Reddit and doing a deep dive
- 12:19Speaker 1: to find out what the fans are saying. I like
- 12:21Speaker 1: to swap theories. I like to see their reactions in
- 12:24Speaker 1: real time as the dramas unfolding on our TV. And
- 12:27Speaker 1: that's another reason I like to look at things on Reddit.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's just real people sharing real opinions and real experiences,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and you know, I'm one of those people. I'm on
- 12:35Speaker 1: there and if you want an honest review of something,
- 12:38Speaker 1: Reddit is always the first place to go. Okay. My
- 12:41Speaker 1: favorite subredits are are Slash Welcome to plotfil R, Slash Bravo,
- 12:45Speaker 1: and of course our slash Sneaky Sasquatch. But I also
- 12:48Speaker 1: love our Slash travel Hacks and when I'm really into
- 12:52Speaker 1: a show like Traders, oh my gosh, the subreddits are incredible.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Reddit is the app for authentic conversation about anything and everything,
- 13:02Speaker 1: whatever question you're dealing with, whatever problem, your stock on
- 13:05Speaker 1: Reddit always has the answers. Download the Reddit app and
- 13:08Speaker 1: get answers on our new season of ninety Day Fiance
- 13:12Speaker 1: on our Dash ninety Day Fiance, download the Reddit app today.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So she says, well, you know, it's our communication because
- 13:21Speaker 1: normally when things go wrong, you know, I just shut down.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And Zach is very comfortable with confrontation and very comfortable
- 13:27Speaker 1: what we've seen. Yeah, and Maria.
- 13:31Speaker 2: He feels like he's comfortable. He doesn't realize he's making
- 13:35Speaker 2: the other person uncomfortable, but he's very comfortable. Yeah, he's fine.
- 13:44Speaker 1: So Mariah says, so, I know that you know you
- 13:47Speaker 1: saved your first kiss for your wedding, but how are
- 13:51Speaker 1: things after that like sex? And it's so awkward. It's
- 13:57Speaker 1: so the conversation is so obvious.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Get paying mind if I ask how the boning was
- 14:05Speaker 2: for you and what feelings that brought up when you
- 14:09Speaker 2: did the deed I, she says.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I'm not a married person, so I'm just asking your experience.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's okay, what it's so weird.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's so weird. And Lydia says, you know, Zach told me,
- 14:24Speaker 1: you know, when we were going to be intimate, that
- 14:27Speaker 1: it was going to be up up to me what
- 14:29Speaker 1: we did. We're going to go at my pace, like
- 14:31Speaker 1: we could wait and work up to it, you know,
- 14:33Speaker 1: because we were just going to kiss at the wedding
- 14:35Speaker 1: and maybe it'd be a week or so until maybe
- 14:37Speaker 1: we wanted to have a week where we just like
- 14:39Speaker 1: made out and enjoyed that. But we didn't wait a week.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And Maries like, go girl, high five.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And she said, he told me I'm here to serve you. Yes, yes,
- 14:53Speaker 2: I'm there to serve you.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Uh huh, she says, uh, she does. She won't describe
- 14:59Speaker 1: the wedding night, but it was beautiful and perfect and
- 15:03Speaker 1: God centered and honoring. Huh.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It was a god Mary Payne, don't act like your
- 15:13Speaker 2: wedding night was not God centered. We all know that
- 15:17Speaker 2: you prayed before and during and after the coitus. Isn't
- 15:25Speaker 2: that what normal people do? Isn't their wedding night God centered.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And honoring, honoring of what the sex?
- 15:34Speaker 2: God? Oh? Okay, and said sex that God is allowing
- 15:39Speaker 2: you to have. This is very each with each thrust
- 15:45Speaker 2: you pray.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Really no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And that's why people say God over and over again,
- 15:54Speaker 2: Oh God when they are having sex because they are
- 15:57Speaker 2: honoring him.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You're killing me.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Is this making you uncomfortable?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Marry very uncomfortable?
- 16:05Speaker 2: What feelings is it bringing up in you? When when
- 16:09Speaker 2: I'm talking about thrusting.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I've gotten out my stop sign I'm putting in front
- 16:17Speaker 1: of my face until further further notice God.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sorry, you are not God honoring during your
- 16:25Speaker 2: sex times.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Stop I'm never gonna have sex again.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Stop.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So so okay, so oh I'm so flustered. Okay so
- 16:39Speaker 1: Olydia says, when you bring it on too early intimacy,
- 16:45Speaker 1: you know that can shade everything all your thoughts, and
- 16:48Speaker 1: Mariah goes, oh, I've seen I've seen out in the
- 16:51Speaker 1: I've been in the world. I've seen out in the
- 16:53Speaker 1: world out here in the mean, mean streets of tallahassee
- 16:56Speaker 1: that living in sin and having sex too early, no
- 17:01Speaker 1: good fruit will come from that. What are you talking about?
- 17:05Speaker 2: What She's been watching some HBO and that's where she's
- 17:09Speaker 2: seen it. You don't know what's going on in people's
- 17:12Speaker 2: lives out there that they had sex too early and
- 17:14Speaker 2: it's making them bad fruit or whatever she said, no
- 17:19Speaker 2: good fruit could come.
- 17:20Speaker 1: From that fruit, like the baby that you have. So
- 17:26Speaker 1: you're saying all the children are spoiled, Like I don't
- 17:29Speaker 1: what is fruit?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Oh, bastard children? None for none ahead of wedlock children.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Those they're bad, They're rotten seeds, bad seeds.
- 17:40Speaker 1: What does it mean? Somebody that's very, very familiar with
- 17:44Speaker 1: this type of talk and this fundamentalist talk and the Bible,
- 17:47Speaker 1: tell me what it means when she says she's seen
- 17:49Speaker 1: in the world with people living in sin or having
- 17:51Speaker 1: sex too early, that no good fruit comes from it.
- 17:55Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 17:56Speaker 2: I just don't know where she's seeing this, because like
- 17:59Speaker 2: you do not know what your coworkers are doing, or
- 18:02Speaker 2: even I don't feel like she has friends where she
- 18:05Speaker 2: just because her friends would be friends like Lydia. So
- 18:09Speaker 2: unless she has friends that have gone down the wrong
- 18:11Speaker 2: path with premarital sex and their lives have been just
- 18:15Speaker 2: filled with rotten fruit.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And then they became methodicts because they had real sex, Like,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I don't know what she means. So Lydia is eating
- 18:26Speaker 1: a banana and the producer says, what does sex and
- 18:31Speaker 1: intimacy mean to you? And why is it important, and
- 18:35Speaker 1: she says, you know, no one knows that side of me,
- 18:39Speaker 1: only Zach. It's for Zach only, and like it's awesome.
- 18:43Speaker 1: She continues to eat the banana and the producer laughs,
- 18:45Speaker 1: is like, are you doing that on purpose? Do you
- 18:48Speaker 1: think she was doing it on purpose?
- 18:52Speaker 2: It's just not how they normally would do an interview
- 18:56Speaker 2: while someone is eating. Okay, yeah, you know, oh, they
- 19:00Speaker 2: would take a break or have let her finish that bite,
- 19:04Speaker 2: but before answering the question, So, yes, I did feel
- 19:07Speaker 2: like it was on purpose.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Okay. So they would be like, okay, we're going to
- 19:11Speaker 1: be rolling, so don't eat, right, don't eat or rolling?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah you know?
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yeah, So I just said, I mean, have you ever
- 19:18Speaker 2: seen on the show anyone in their talking head eating?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Never?
- 19:24Speaker 2: Right?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Right? Okay? So she says, there is beauty in sex
- 19:30Speaker 1: and intimacy with your spouse. It is literally life giving. Obviously,
- 19:36Speaker 1: it can bring life into the world and life into
- 19:39Speaker 1: your marriage. Okay. So and talking to Mariah, says Mariah
- 19:45Speaker 1: with the a says, I've seen Lydia grow up so
- 19:48Speaker 1: much and find her voice. I feel like she's learning
- 19:52Speaker 1: to express her emotions, and I think her friends and
- 19:55Speaker 1: the people around her, have sponsored a safe space for her. Sponsored.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, like how you might sponsor a youth basketball league
- 20:11Speaker 2: or a child in another country and it gives them
- 20:15Speaker 2: grain and water. You sponsor Lydia becoming a normal, expressing
- 20:21Speaker 2: emotions person so she doesn't wind up like Ethan. Right,
- 20:26Speaker 2: we would all let's all get together and sponsor Lydia
- 20:30Speaker 2: so she doesn't turn out like Ethan.
- 20:33Speaker 1: So Mariah then asked her, so, how did you feel
- 20:35Speaker 1: about like being naked, like having all your clothes off
- 20:38Speaker 1: for somebody, And she goes, I didn't even change clothes
- 20:40Speaker 1: in front of my sister, So I was sixteen.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I was like, I can't believe they're discussing this. Yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 2: at a coffee shop. She's like it was.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Really surprising, like how much it didn't bother me, and
- 20:52Speaker 1: how I was so open to it. And Maria goes, well,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I know you guys have baby fever, Like are you
- 20:58Speaker 1: trying to have a baby? Are you using birth control?
- 21:00Speaker 1: What are you doing? Are you doing like four pumps
- 21:03Speaker 1: and pull out like spray and pray Like what's happening?
- 21:06Speaker 2: Wow? This is a lot, this is she's a lot.
- 21:10Speaker 2: She says, Mary Paine, I want to bond with you.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Tell me what it was like, what it feels like
- 21:17Speaker 2: to be naked in front of your husband? Wait? Now,
- 21:21Speaker 2: this is what friends talk about. Mary Pain, what tell me, please,
- 21:25Speaker 2: what is it like when your husband sees your boobies?
- 21:30Speaker 2: What does that feel like?
- 21:31Speaker 1: It feels like? Get out of here. I told you
- 21:33Speaker 1: I was in the bathroom. Get out.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Now I feel like we're bonded. Now this is what
- 21:39Speaker 2: friends talk about.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm trying to get dressed. Can you get the fuck
- 21:41Speaker 1: out of here? Okay, So Mariah says, I thought you
- 21:46Speaker 1: guys would get pregnant on your honeymoon. And she says,
- 21:49Speaker 1: we are coming up on a year, but this time
- 21:52Speaker 1: and our marriage is precious.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Why is Mariah, who wants Lydia to grow as a person,
- 21:59Speaker 2: not saying saying, why don't you take some time? You
- 22:02Speaker 2: were in your growth as a person phase and you
- 22:05Speaker 2: do not need to have a baby at twenty two
- 22:07Speaker 2: years old. You literally just got married. Don't you want
- 22:10Speaker 2: to travel and do things like that?
- 22:13Speaker 1: Yeah? Get established, make sure you have enough money, you know, yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 1: all these things. Yeah. Okay, we're in Kiro now we're
- 22:21Speaker 1: here for the uncomfortable. You're fat talk Okay, my god,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'm going to say it without saying it, You're fat. Okay.
- 22:30Speaker 1: So he they sit down to talk and he says
- 22:34Speaker 1: that the farm really feels like home. This is the
- 22:38Speaker 1: last place he wants to live because obviously he's skipped
- 22:40Speaker 1: around from quite a few women. He wants to be
- 22:45Speaker 1: with her forever, but he has concerns and he has worries,
- 22:49Speaker 1: and it has to do with commitment. He wants to
- 22:53Speaker 1: know they'll be together for the rest of their lives
- 22:56Speaker 1: and be healthy and happy. And then she's like, ah,
- 22:59Speaker 1: oh oh, she's smiling commitment. Yeah, yeah, I'm with you.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Uha live here on the Oh, I didn't know.
- 23:05Speaker 2: What he said health this said health talk.
- 23:10Speaker 1: He says, uh, you told me you were gonna work
- 23:14Speaker 1: on certain things, and I haven't seen any of the
- 23:17Speaker 1: progress I thought I would see. And she just goes
- 23:21Speaker 1: she does like a very subtle mm hmm. Oh we're
- 23:24Speaker 1: doing this, motherucker. Okay, Because you know, when Kim Blaith
- 23:28Speaker 1: is staring you down, those wheels are a turning.
- 23:32Speaker 2: He's not picking up on the death stairs that are
- 23:35Speaker 2: like stop, stop, stop, you want to get stabbed later?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Now, oh, you're gonna keep talking he said he doesn't
- 23:45Speaker 2: pick up on the queues.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, So maybe she's met her match. Maybe she's
- 23:51Speaker 1: met her match.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I just don't know if he's it's that he's brave
- 23:55Speaker 2: enough to stand up to her or just stupid enough
- 23:58Speaker 2: that he's to stand after he doesn't know. Yeah, like
- 24:03Speaker 2: in the way he was standing in that kitchen, She's like,
- 24:06Speaker 2: you can leave.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Now goes through in the den when nobody wants to
- 24:10Speaker 1: see your stupid face. So and then talking head, he says,
- 24:14Speaker 1: we've been together three years off and on, mostly on
- 24:17Speaker 1: right because you never really broke up. You were front
- 24:20Speaker 1: row a lands this wedding. Uh, and now it feels
- 24:23Speaker 1: like we're settled. And I've been pushing for her to
- 24:27Speaker 1: eat better and exercise little, try to get healthier, Like
- 24:30Speaker 1: I just want her to be around for a long
- 24:31Speaker 1: time for me to kids. But I feel like she
- 24:34Speaker 1: just uh puts the getting healthy part on the back burner,
- 24:37Speaker 1: and uh, I don't see any changes. It's getting frustrated
- 24:40Speaker 1: and I love her, but it could be a deal breaker.
- 24:44Speaker 1: She's not gonna commit to her health, because that makes
- 24:46Speaker 1: me wonder if she's committed to me. Okay, Well, I
- 24:49Speaker 1: don't really see those two things.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Oh well, look I want or where I have a ball?
- 25:03Speaker 3: Unlock ball? Her health? Who got mouth?
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'llah heard of something about an alligator in mouth cancer.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's about right. Okay, he looks like he
- 25:23Speaker 2: smells like an alligator swamp tour, and he has the
- 25:28Speaker 2: balls to criticize her health when we cannot understand a word.
- 25:33Speaker 2: He says, because of whatever he has going on in
- 25:37Speaker 2: his mouth area.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And they're drinking buddies, So he's part of the blame.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Exactly, you know, with his moonshine that he's brewing in
- 25:46Speaker 2: the basement or whatever.
- 25:48Speaker 1: In the new barn that he made even build before
- 25:50Speaker 1: he left. So she tells him, it's daunting to try
- 25:56Speaker 1: to lose weight in your fifties. It's not like it
- 25:58Speaker 1: was in your twenties and thirties. Very true, very true.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Also, yes, and you've popped out babies and Ken has
- 26:06Speaker 2: never popped out babies. Have you ever carried a baby?
- 26:09Speaker 1: Ken?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Do you know about hormones fluctuations?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Fuck you right, She's she's definitely in menopause, perimenopause, and
- 26:18Speaker 1: I will tell you it is very close to impossible.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And that is why a lot of people my age
- 26:25Speaker 1: do go on GLP once, me included.
- 26:29Speaker 2: But also just having babies. Having babies makes you hormone irregular, irregulated,
- 26:38Speaker 2: and if you don't are not taking time in between
- 26:41Speaker 2: those babies too, Like your hormones never get back to
- 26:45Speaker 2: normal in between babies. So like these women, like the Duggers,
- 26:51Speaker 2: like Michelle Duggar and like, like, I don't understand how
- 26:54Speaker 2: their baby their bodies are so your body is not
- 26:59Speaker 2: meant to carry that many children, Like That's just how
- 27:03Speaker 2: I feel it.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Really, even twelve years since she had a baby though,
- 27:06Speaker 1: So I mean, like.
- 27:07Speaker 2: That's true, that's a great point, and it's a great point,
- 27:11Speaker 2: but it does mess you up for a long time.
- 27:14Speaker 2: But also she is a lot of makes a lot
- 27:15Speaker 2: of unhealthy choices, yes, like dating can mm hmmmm hmm.
- 27:21Speaker 2: So okay, I'm just trying to stick up for the
- 27:25Speaker 2: woman that I'm usually very mean, very mean to, and
- 27:30Speaker 2: I still hate her. Let's not let's be clear, I.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Agree, but I do she is correct in that, and
- 27:35Speaker 1: that is why I say, that is why a lot
- 27:37Speaker 1: of people our age will try the GLP once because
- 27:39Speaker 1: you're like desperate totally when Waite comes on you can't
- 27:43Speaker 1: just get it off like you could in your thirties,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you know. Just yeah, so.
- 27:48Speaker 2: And that's what she should be focusing on, not trying
- 27:51Speaker 2: to upstage lydia by having her own child.
- 27:57Speaker 1: That's hilarious, she says. Yeah, you know. She goes, it's
- 28:01Speaker 1: not like it was in your twenties and thirties. And
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to work out a bit more, but there
- 28:06Speaker 1: are days where it's hard to fit in. And he goes,
- 28:09Speaker 1: what else do you do?
- 28:11Speaker 2: I'm sorry, those children do everything and she.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Goes, for example, you know the other day I had
- 28:17Speaker 1: to take all three cats into Tallahassee to get fixed
- 28:20Speaker 1: and then go back and pick them up. And he goes,
- 28:25Speaker 1: uh huh, yeah, yeah, things happen. Yeah, people get busy.
- 28:28Speaker 1: But you also use everything as an excuse not to exercise.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Like I've looked back where you have not tried, and
- 28:34Speaker 1: you have not put the work in, And that shows
- 28:37Speaker 1: to me that you don't care enough about me to
- 28:39Speaker 1: put in the extra effort. And it's hard to commit
- 28:42Speaker 1: one hundred percent when I don't see you're compitted, committed
- 28:45Speaker 1: one hundred percent to getting healthy. And then she just
- 28:48Speaker 1: she is giving him the death stare like, are you
- 28:50Speaker 1: fucking kidding me? Are you fucking kidding me? And he says,
- 28:54Speaker 1: and not just for me telling you I've seen it,
- 28:57Speaker 1: like i've seen it. So then she's trying to give like, well,
- 29:01Speaker 1: you know, i'm busy with the airbeat whatever. She tries
- 29:03Speaker 1: to say the cats, and.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Well, that's true. She doesn't have Lydia. She has the
- 29:08Speaker 2: other three, but Lydia used to clean the airbnbs, right.
- 29:13Speaker 1: She's trying to give the examples of the cats, you know,
- 29:15Speaker 1: being busy, and he goes, I'm not talking about one
- 29:18Speaker 1: or two instances of you being busy, because that's it.
- 29:23Speaker 1: She's not busy Otherwise. He says, I'm talking about the
- 29:25Speaker 1: exercise room being empty for two weeks and he hadn't
- 29:29Speaker 1: been in there, and she goes, well, I.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Don't like this. I don't I don't want my partner
- 29:34Speaker 2: tracking me.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I don't need I agree. I agree with you on this,
- 29:39Speaker 1: and she just goes yeah, well, and he goes, I
- 29:43Speaker 1: do love you, and I wouldn't have moved everything here
- 29:45Speaker 1: if I didn't because I want to be with you.
- 29:47Speaker 1: But I want that forever to be more than five years,
- 29:50Speaker 1: because one of us is bedridden or has the diabetes.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Okay, I mean it could just as easily be you. Ken.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Let's stop acting like you are a pinnacle of health.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You're no Berry, sir.
- 30:02Speaker 1: You're not a Plath daddy. Okay, they're not.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Calling you Plath daddy. They're not calling you Plath Ken Daddy, Ken, no.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Daddy Palmer what was his last name? So God, if
- 30:15Speaker 1: she marries him, she won't have to change any of
- 30:17Speaker 1: her monograms because she's a.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Lot of P for the last name, so she does
- 30:21Speaker 2: known any monogram things.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You're right, so I'm talking to that, she says. I
- 30:27Speaker 1: don't like that. It's a deal breaker for him. I
- 30:29Speaker 1: feel like he's given me an ultimatum and I don't
- 30:32Speaker 1: like that, and I do worry about the future of
- 30:35Speaker 1: our relationship. When he says things like that. It hurts
- 30:38Speaker 1: to know that he thinks I'm not losing weight fast
- 30:40Speaker 1: enough for him, and that means I'm not committed to
- 30:43Speaker 1: our relationship, because I absolutely am. He's been with me
- 30:47Speaker 1: the last few years and has seen everything I've been
- 30:49Speaker 1: through with the divorce. Sometimes I would just stress out
- 30:52Speaker 1: over money all day, and then in the evenings I
- 30:54Speaker 1: would have a glass of wine or two bottles and
- 30:56Speaker 1: then I'd go to bed, and I know that's not
- 31:00Speaker 1: healthy and I know it won't help me shed the pounds.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, listen, I'm just gonna I'm speaking
- 31:05Speaker 1: for myself. I've definitely been in a spot where i
- 31:08Speaker 1: know I'm making unhealthy choices and I'm just like, I
- 31:10Speaker 1: don't care. I'll fix it tomorrow, like you just it
- 31:13Speaker 1: just it does happen.
- 31:14Speaker 2: And it's not just no emotions affect what you intake emotion.
- 31:20Speaker 2: We're all emotional eaters or drinkers. At some point.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Yes, she says to him, I'm glad to hear you
- 31:28Speaker 1: say you're committed, because sometimes you're distant and I can
- 31:31Speaker 1: tell you're not attracted to me like you used to be,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and that's hard. And she says, it makes me sad,
- 31:38Speaker 1: and that doesn't help me get energized about working out. So,
- 31:41Speaker 1: in Kim fashion, she did turn around and blame it
- 31:44Speaker 1: on him.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that sucks, but I get when you feel bad
- 31:49Speaker 2: about yourself, it just makes you want to eat more
- 31:51Speaker 2: and it becomes a vicious cycle.
- 31:53Speaker 1: It does. But also him saying, hey, you're supposed to
- 31:58Speaker 1: go work out and you didn't also doesn't help because
- 32:01Speaker 1: you know that, you know that.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Makes you feel worse. Yeah, now you feel like shit
- 32:05Speaker 2: twice because you're blaming yourself and he, the person who
- 32:09Speaker 2: loves you, is blaming you.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So the bottom line is as it is with every
- 32:15Speaker 1: single person. You have to make the decision for yourself
- 32:17Speaker 1: and you have to be responsible for your own choices.
- 32:20Speaker 1: And you can't do it for Ken. You can't do
- 32:22Speaker 1: it because Yahn said you didn't work out enough, you know.
- 32:25Speaker 2: And also I think you and Keisha talked about that
- 32:28Speaker 2: and your love for love is blind or one of
- 32:31Speaker 2: those shows where the people like the guy was just
- 32:34Speaker 2: like just skip the one thing and you'll lose five
- 32:37Speaker 2: pounds because he's a dude in his twenties and like
- 32:41Speaker 2: not understanding that women's bodies are work very differently and
- 32:46Speaker 2: it is a lot harder for women to lose weight.
- 32:48Speaker 2: And shut the fuck up. Because Ken could get in
- 32:52Speaker 2: shape like Barry if he just started, like I don't know,
- 32:57Speaker 2: like lifting a few pounds, like he could get in shape.
- 33:01Speaker 2: It would not change the way he talks, and it
- 33:05Speaker 2: would not make him more attractive, but he could make
- 33:09Speaker 2: the changes very easily, and for her as harder. So
- 33:11Speaker 2: it feels overwhelming, and she's not that good at follow through.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Follow through. Yeah, so listen and again. And we said
- 33:20Speaker 1: this before when she first brought up how she feels
- 33:24Speaker 1: about it. We do not enjoy her as a human,
- 33:27Speaker 1: but as women, I think we can all really feel
- 33:31Speaker 1: this pain. And it's embarrassing that he's bringing up on camera.
- 33:34Speaker 1: But obviously she knew they were going to bring it
- 33:36Speaker 1: up on camera. But she is looking at Hi.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Yeah. So he says, what if I wasn't in the
- 33:40Speaker 1: picture and you were just doing this for your kids,
- 33:44Speaker 1: that would be enough, because I'm sure they want you
- 33:46Speaker 1: around for a long time. I mean some of them.
- 33:49Speaker 2: She's like, how many, Hosannah, we don't know? Are the
- 33:55Speaker 2: three littles? I hate that. I sug just said the
- 33:59Speaker 2: three littles. I hate when people say littles. Two out
- 34:04Speaker 2: of the three.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Ethan likes her now.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Yeah for sure. So Ethan's getting advice from teak In,
- 34:11Speaker 2: Micah and Mariah.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Eh, I don't care.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Lydia is a no right now, And so it's really
- 34:22Speaker 2: the tip and the scales if Hosanna does or the
- 34:25Speaker 2: three teens about Isaac? Oh, I forgot about Isaac.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Isaac Isaac's mom. I think it's okay.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Yeah, So we have two out of seven right now,
- 34:38Speaker 2: and we're waiting to hear from the threes. What Destiny's child?
- 34:44Speaker 2: How do you feel? How do you weigh in? And
- 34:46Speaker 2: I think it's probably two out of those.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Three, yeah, because that the littlest one. Amber Mercy Cassiot, No,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Amber Mercy. Mercy is the one that kind of looks
- 34:59Speaker 1: like Mariah. She looks like she's gonna be trouble.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Mmm.
- 35:04Speaker 1: So she you know he's saying about the kids, and
- 35:08Speaker 1: she says, can you know? Yeah? Sure. She says, I
- 35:11Speaker 1: love you, You're my best friend. I want to spend
- 35:14Speaker 1: my life with you. And then he says, what do
- 35:16Speaker 1: you need from me so I can help you, which
- 35:19Speaker 1: is what he should have said at the beginning of this.
- 35:22Speaker 1: And he says, I don't want to push you, but
- 35:24Speaker 1: if you but if you do, if you want me
- 35:27Speaker 1: to push you, I'll push. Like what kind of help
- 35:29Speaker 1: do you need? And she says, I have.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I have some.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Where's your tissue?
- 35:36Speaker 2: Okay?
- 35:36Speaker 3: Are probably even fell on flamm and I can.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Girl, just lift those ball and chains.
- 35:55Speaker 2: It's not funny, guys, it's really nottive, it's really horrible.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna go on that girls, because she's like,
- 36:02Speaker 1: ask me anything. I think I'm gonna go on and
- 36:04Speaker 1: ask her. She knows about that's what she thinks. I'll
- 36:07Speaker 1: do that right after this. Okay, please remind me. So
- 36:12Speaker 1: he says, well, let's make a plan and work on it.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Now we've already seen she made her little chalkboard with
- 36:17Speaker 1: a plan, and she didn't do that, and we knew
- 36:19Speaker 1: she wouldn't know.
- 36:20Speaker 2: And he goes, perhaps they could do things together. I'm like,
- 36:25Speaker 2: go on walks together, work out together. Maybe they could
- 36:28Speaker 2: join Berry's CrossFit class. That would be funny, and maybe
- 36:32Speaker 2: cook some healthier meals, et cetera.
- 36:35Speaker 1: He says, not work on it, do it, and he goes,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and there are gonna be days where you don't feel
- 36:41Speaker 1: like it, and I'm not gonna feel like it. He goes,
- 36:43Speaker 1: I want you to push me, and I'll push you.
- 36:46Speaker 1: And she says okay, and he says, I want the
- 36:49Speaker 1: long term goal to focus on our health and one
- 36:52Speaker 1: day get married and look good walking down the aisle.
- 36:55Speaker 1: So I think he's dangling this hole. I'm not going
- 36:57Speaker 1: to marry you if you don't get healthier. Yeah, I
- 37:01Speaker 1: hate that and I hate that too.
- 37:03Speaker 2: And also she just needs to go to a doctor
- 37:05Speaker 2: and get a full work up.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, she needs to take Shae from Patuca Kentucky
- 37:11Speaker 1: with her. He needs to work too. This week, Chris, seriously,
- 37:18Speaker 1: Chris has sent me some clips for a reel from
- 37:20Speaker 1: that episode, and the one was all about you saying
- 37:22Speaker 1: Shae needs a germatologist, a heart specialist, a dentist, all
- 37:26Speaker 1: this stuff, And that was one of the clips I
- 37:28Speaker 1: wrote back. I go, I just can't. I think we'll
- 37:30Speaker 1: get I think we would get so much hate if
- 37:33Speaker 1: I put that out into the world. I mean, people
- 37:35Speaker 1: can listen to it and see it on YouTube, but
- 37:37Speaker 1: it's different when you put it out as a reel.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I just want help for him.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I mean I just listen. I think Annabel's gonna whip
- 37:46Speaker 1: me into shape. I really do.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm so glad she's there.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so the talking head she says, I'm glad Ken
- 37:53Speaker 1: is being honest with me, and I'm glad we're having
- 37:55Speaker 1: this conversation. You know, I'm trying to learn to love
- 37:59Speaker 1: myself and do what's best for myself and if he
- 38:03Speaker 1: ever asked me to get married, I would gladly say yes.
- 38:07Speaker 1: But I'm going to keep trying to lose weight and
- 38:09Speaker 1: exercise and make good food choices for myself and for
- 38:12Speaker 1: the girls, and for Ken if he'll stick around, because
- 38:16Speaker 1: he has known to run according to his daughter.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's usually after you give him a baby.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Right, and that's not gonna happen here. So I'm talking
- 38:25Speaker 1: to it. He goes, you know, having to talk to
- 38:27Speaker 1: her about all this puts me in a bad position
- 38:29Speaker 1: because I do love her and if we didn't end
- 38:32Speaker 1: up together, my heart would be broken. But I really
- 38:35Speaker 1: hope she'll commit herself to doing what she's told me
- 38:38Speaker 1: she's gonna do for the last three years.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Wow a lot. I knows I look the same after
- 38:47Speaker 2: the last three years. He is. He came into the
- 38:50Speaker 2: relationship at a certain level and he's stayed at that level.
- 38:54Speaker 2: So it's not like he's a pinnacle of health, but
- 38:57Speaker 2: he has just stayed at that.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Level compared to her, though he is, and that's what
- 39:01Speaker 1: he's comparing it to. Yeah, So she says, well, I
- 39:05Speaker 1: guess I'll take my fat ass on a walk. Like
- 39:10Speaker 1: she literally leads up and goes, I guess I'm go
- 39:12Speaker 1: on a walk. Oh god, And she says, but one day,
- 39:17Speaker 1: I do want a real proposal, and so I think
- 39:20Speaker 1: She's like, here's make a deal. I'll lose one hundred
- 39:23Speaker 1: pounds if you get me a big ring. Yeah, like, yeah, whatever,
- 39:27Speaker 1: let's make it.
- 39:27Speaker 2: It is. It's like a full on contract, contract negotiation.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I will lose this much weight and maintain it for
- 39:38Speaker 2: this long seventeen months, and then you will propose to me.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Like that's not romantic.
- 39:44Speaker 1: No. So we're in Montana now, all right. Kaylin and
- 39:51Speaker 1: Isaac are riding a buggy up the mountain. It's like
- 39:54Speaker 1: a four wheeler with a cage on top, and Ethan
- 39:57Speaker 1: and Tiagan and Mariah with an o Mariah's sister Mariah
- 40:01Speaker 1: are the other buggy and Kaylin goes, they're going too slow.
- 40:05Speaker 1: They're going too slow. I mean, she and Isaac are
- 40:07Speaker 1: just down on the farm country folk. And she's like,
- 40:10Speaker 1: what have I had?
- 40:11Speaker 2: She's wearing camo, she's city slickers.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Come on, yeah. Teagan is terrified on this buggy ride.
- 40:19Speaker 1: And I completely understand it's I mean, I was like,
- 40:23Speaker 1: I don't like that kind of stuff either. I really don't.
- 40:26Speaker 2: I mean, I always hear about these reality people flipping
- 40:29Speaker 2: their ATVs and people getting hurt.
- 40:33Speaker 1: And the amount of people. Okay, my friend Leslie Britney Spear,
- 40:38Speaker 1: My friend Leslie had a terrible ATV accident in high school. Terrible.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I know somebody sorority sister of mine whose son had
- 40:48Speaker 1: an ATV accident, lost part of his leg. Like I've
- 40:53Speaker 1: heard of children that were friends of my nieces and
- 40:57Speaker 1: nephew's in high school. Two different ones died from.
- 41:01Speaker 2: These Oh my god, it died.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Yeah, they are scary, so I would take him.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yet, Robin Brown survives her a TV flip on Sister.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Wise, so did Tamra Judge. Yeah, on OC so, so
- 41:17Speaker 1: did Vickie Gumbelson. So, but they have got on their side.
- 41:20Speaker 1: So taking is terrified. And it seems like they're on
- 41:25Speaker 1: a trail, but it's like a steep mountain, so I
- 41:27Speaker 1: think when they're looking over, they can you know, see down.
- 41:30Speaker 1: And she said, you know, I don't like any kind
- 41:33Speaker 1: of four wheeler. And I asked Ethan to go slow,
- 41:35Speaker 1: and to my surprise, he did. And I appreciated that because.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Because normally he'd be a fucking asshole and go faster
- 41:45Speaker 2: because he knew she was scared.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, Olivia told lots of stories of him,
- 41:48Speaker 1: just like doing donuts and argan lights and her explaining
- 41:51Speaker 1: that her and begging him to stop and scared and
- 41:55Speaker 1: he won't do it, she says, So I appreciated that.
- 41:58Speaker 1: So the goat some rocks and they climb around. They're
- 42:01Speaker 1: looking at the view and they're talking to him. Maria goes,
- 42:04Speaker 1: I don't know why, just my siblings and I like,
- 42:06Speaker 1: we've always loved climbing things. And one of my favorite
- 42:09Speaker 1: things in the world is being high and productions like,
- 42:12Speaker 1: do you want to reword that? She's like, yeah, let
- 42:14Speaker 1: me reword that, because I don't do that anymore, not anymore.
- 42:19Speaker 2: And this is the comedy genius that we are getting
- 42:22Speaker 2: from these people, and Hi jokes exactly. This is why
- 42:27Speaker 2: we need Barry.
- 42:29Speaker 1: This is why we need Micah.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Also, the reason you love climbing so much is because
- 42:35Speaker 2: you were not allowed to watch television. And I guarantee
- 42:38Speaker 2: you you wouldn't love climbing as much if you were
- 42:41Speaker 2: able to watch Saturday morning cartoons.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I agree with all that. So she says she's so
- 42:47Speaker 1: happy that everybody's there they get to see her favorite
- 42:49Speaker 1: place in the world and to see how far she's come.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You know, I think that's great. So Ethan, until you
- 42:55Speaker 1: can go out to this rock and are looking at
- 42:56Speaker 1: the view. And as they're walking up to the rock,
- 42:59Speaker 1: should we get picture? And she goes, we'll see, And
- 43:02Speaker 1: then she goes, will you take a picture of me
- 43:04Speaker 1: for my mom? He goes, okay, so she's he's got
- 43:06Speaker 1: the thing, and she goes, you're so close, back up? No,
- 43:11Speaker 1: back up? Like put it on? Point? Thought? Was she
- 43:13Speaker 1: telling him to back up? I go, is it's gonna
- 43:15Speaker 1: be like dateline? Or she back up over the.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Cliff, except she was the one with her back to
- 43:21Speaker 2: the edge. So I was like, worried about her more,
- 43:25Speaker 2: but I was worried.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I wasn't worried about either one of them, but I
- 43:28Speaker 1: was kind of worried. When she was saying back up,
- 43:29Speaker 1: I was like, Ethan, look behind you before you back up?
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah, good plaint she doesn't care if you fall.
- 43:35Speaker 1: No, she'd be like, are you.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Is there any life insurance?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Now?
- 43:39Speaker 2: Okay, well I guess they're worth nothing.
- 43:42Speaker 1: So he asked to take a picture again and her
- 43:47Speaker 1: talking to her, she goes I'm annoyed. I'm annoyed. He
- 43:49Speaker 1: never wanted pictures together before, Like that's a couple, a
- 43:53Speaker 1: couple thing to do, and I'm sure that's why he's asking.
- 43:56Speaker 1: For a long time, he would just say or just
- 43:59Speaker 1: do things to get by, so I don't even think
- 44:01Speaker 1: he means it.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I was starting to get really annoyed with her. She's
- 44:07Speaker 2: being really bossy and really mean to him. And not
- 44:11Speaker 2: that I feel bad for him, because it's Ethan and
- 44:12Speaker 2: he's terrible, but he's trying. I know it's maybe too late,
- 44:19Speaker 2: it is, but he's at least trying. And if you
- 44:23Speaker 2: want to be friends, like why if you don't want
- 44:26Speaker 2: to be friends, why are you on this trip? And
- 44:29Speaker 2: if you are want to be friends, you would want
- 44:33Speaker 2: him to be like a person who would you would
- 44:35Speaker 2: take pictures with your friend too. It doesn't have to
- 44:37Speaker 2: be a couple of things.
- 44:38Speaker 1: She takes me, says later with the group.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, she'll, I guess, only do it with a group.
- 44:44Speaker 2: I mean, I respect that she has boundaries, but I
- 44:46Speaker 2: kind of think she's being bitchy about it, like in
- 44:51Speaker 2: his mind, she said she always brought a disposable camera
- 44:56Speaker 2: because she wanted to create memories and she always wished
- 44:59Speaker 2: I did stuff like that, and now I want to
- 45:01Speaker 2: take pictures and like, she doesn't.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I know, but if you spent two years trying to
- 45:06Speaker 1: get somebody to give a shit, Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I know, I get it. I get it. You're it
- 45:10Speaker 2: is it is too late, Yeah, I get it. But
- 45:12Speaker 2: then why are you there?
- 45:14Speaker 1: Like she shouldn't have come on the trip, but I
- 45:16Speaker 1: mean she could have been contractually obligated to be in
- 45:20Speaker 1: four episodes. Do you know what I mean?
- 45:22Speaker 2: Right? Yeah, m hm, So talking head, he.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Says, I know, Teagan's learning to trust me. And in
- 45:28Speaker 1: the past, she would make all the effort and I
- 45:31Speaker 1: would make no effort, and I would forget all the
- 45:33Speaker 1: little things like taking pictures. So they walk along and
- 45:39Speaker 1: I can't tell if he's crying or sniffling because he's like,
- 45:43Speaker 1: I know, or cocaine. I mean, it was just one
- 45:45Speaker 1: of the three. Yeah, and she goes, I don't like
- 45:48Speaker 1: you behind me. I feel like you're rushing me. And
- 45:51Speaker 1: I think I'm a little nervous like that too, especially
- 45:54Speaker 1: if you're going down rocks and you feel like somebody's
- 45:55Speaker 1: right behind you. You're like, wait, wait, wait, give me space,
- 45:57Speaker 1: because I might need to put my hand out, you
- 45:59Speaker 1: know what I mean, I'm gonna nervous Nelly like this too.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And they're also outdoorsy. I think she's like, just give
- 46:05Speaker 1: me a second, and he says, I'm just following you.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm not trying to get too close. I'm talking to
- 46:12Speaker 1: He even goes, it's heavy for me to realize that
- 46:14Speaker 1: my own shortcomings and faults of myself, you know, have
- 46:19Speaker 1: put that much hurt on someone that I love and
- 46:21Speaker 1: care for so much. I just hope I have the
- 46:24Speaker 1: opportunity to love her like she deserves to be loved
- 46:26Speaker 1: and be there for her. And I know it's gonna
- 46:30Speaker 1: take patience, and I'm hoping it works out. But I
- 46:34Speaker 1: have to tell you something, Kimberly, if this was me,
- 46:37Speaker 1: and I've been in situations like this where you're like,
- 46:40Speaker 1: how do I know in four months you're not going
- 46:43Speaker 1: to start the exact same patterns over it totally as
- 46:46Speaker 1: you get comfortable, you know.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And she has a child like she doesn't
- 46:53Speaker 2: need to keep bringing this man into their lives. And
- 46:56Speaker 2: then he goes back to his own behavior, his old
- 46:59Speaker 2: moody ways, yeah, and ditches her at his grandparents' house
- 47:03Speaker 2: or whereever. She yeah, like well, and.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I will also say that several people, and I don't
- 47:09Speaker 1: know if you and I discussed this or not, I
- 47:10Speaker 1: can't remember, but several people said that when Caylen said
- 47:14Speaker 1: it was said twice Caylen said it, and somebody else
- 47:18Speaker 1: said that he had a they had a private issue.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Hmmm, So it's what does that mean?
- 47:27Speaker 1: It's one of two things. It's his drinking, uh huh.
- 47:31Speaker 1: It has been said that he, you know, his drinking
- 47:34Speaker 1: issue allegedly, or their private issue was perhaps so ea
- 47:41Speaker 1: can have a pregnancy and that was a private issue
- 47:44Speaker 1: that they worked through in whatever way they did.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Mm. So I were, yeah, that's.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Something heavy, heavy, heavy like that.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Or does it have to do with his anger
- 47:58Speaker 2: like it was with a living Yeah.
- 48:01Speaker 1: It could where he got up in her face or so.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Mariah gets to the top of this giant rock and
- 48:10Speaker 1: so getting Ethro there now, and she says, I want
- 48:12Speaker 1: to thank you for inviting me. It's it's really beautiful here,
- 48:16Speaker 1: and he says, well, I really thank you for coming,
- 48:19Speaker 1: and then they just kind of stand there awkwardly for
- 48:21Speaker 1: a second, and then she goes, I'm going to climb
- 48:23Speaker 1: the rock. He goes, okay, and she goes, are you coming.
- 48:25Speaker 1: He goes, oh, okay, so he comes. So I mean
- 48:27Speaker 1: that was she threw him a bone. At the end,
- 48:29Speaker 1: she felt bad that she was being sure with So
- 48:34Speaker 1: talking to Mariah, says, I'm just so glad that they're here.
- 48:38Speaker 1: They got to see my life, they get to see
- 48:39Speaker 1: how much I love it. And then they're all standing
- 48:42Speaker 1: there doing the picture in Isaac goes, this place is
- 48:44Speaker 1: so amazing that I want to move here, and she goes,
- 48:47Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I just hope somebody moves here with me,
- 48:49Speaker 1: and he goes, if they got a good flight school
- 48:51Speaker 1: and farmland, that's all I need. Caylen's like, no, I
- 48:54Speaker 1: would not move here.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Thanks for asking me, asshole.
- 48:59Speaker 1: But she goes, I wouldn't mind having a little cabin
- 49:02Speaker 1: and come and visit.
- 49:04Speaker 2: But she says, you just got me back, and now
- 49:06Speaker 2: you're already talking about moving someplace else.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I just got that nurse and job. I'm not moving. Yeah,
- 49:12Speaker 1: she says. She thinks the trip has been very good
- 49:14Speaker 1: for their communications or everything's fine there. So Teaking and
- 49:18Speaker 1: Ethan are back in the buggy by themselves driving, and
- 49:21Speaker 1: he says, so, I think he was taking her to
- 49:24Speaker 1: get her stulf to go to the airport and the
- 49:25Speaker 1: rest of them were going to get the hot coca
- 49:27Speaker 1: or whatever. He says, well, I wish I could have
- 49:31Speaker 1: spent more time with you here, and she goes, well,
- 49:33Speaker 1: when we did see each other, you were quiet. Yep, Okay,
- 49:38Speaker 1: you just stand around like a mute. I can't do
- 49:40Speaker 1: anything with that. And the talking head Teakan tells us
- 49:44Speaker 1: when we were together, he would leave me physically but
- 49:48Speaker 1: also emotionally. He would leave me during a time of need.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Mm. That goes to one of your theories.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Yeah, And then she says, and as a you're protective
- 50:00Speaker 1: of your child. That's the next sentence. She says, he
- 50:03Speaker 1: would leave me in my time of need, and as
- 50:06Speaker 1: a mother, you're protective of your child. So you wonder
- 50:10Speaker 1: if her child got really, really sick. And she's like,
- 50:12Speaker 1: I need you to come here to be with me,
- 50:13Speaker 1: and he's like, no, I can't work on my cars.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 50:17Speaker 1: She says, letting anyone around your child is a privilege
- 50:21Speaker 1: that should be earned. And I feel no rush to
- 50:24Speaker 1: trust him and let him back in. Yeah, And she says.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Or he behaved a certain way in front of her child.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, a private matter. So something happened, and
- 50:40Speaker 1: she says, and when and when I was And she says,
- 50:46Speaker 1: when I was there, meaning I think there in Montana
- 50:51Speaker 1: he was quiet. You know, I have forgiven him, so
- 50:55Speaker 1: I wish he could just forgive himself. You know, we
- 50:57Speaker 1: don't have a lot of time together. We don't even
- 50:59Speaker 1: have plans to see each other her again, so why
- 51:01Speaker 1: not enjoy being together in the present and not just
- 51:03Speaker 1: dwell in the past. Yeah, you know about how he's
- 51:06Speaker 1: so raging internally, so I'm talking to it, Ethan goes.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I don't know why I give myself a harder time,
- 51:15Speaker 1: harder time than I should. You know, a lot of
- 51:18Speaker 1: me and my siblings, when we commit to something, a
- 51:21Speaker 1: lot of us don't quit when you normally would like.
- 51:24Speaker 1: That could be a good thing or a bad thing,
- 51:27Speaker 1: like if you stay with someone longer than you should.
- 51:29Speaker 1: And I wish I could have spent more time with Teacan,
- 51:32Speaker 1: but maybe this trip was a stepping stone. So when
- 51:34Speaker 1: we saw it with Micah, with Veronica, he stayed with
- 51:37Speaker 1: her longer than he should, you know.
- 51:40Speaker 2: So that's that's true. I just don't get why he
- 51:46Speaker 2: doesn't feel badly, and it doesn't beat himself up about
- 51:49Speaker 2: how he was with Olivia.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Because she's completely wrong. Yeah, everything is her fault.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 1: So when talking to had, the producer asked, Hegan, are
- 51:59Speaker 1: you planning to see him or hang out with him
- 52:02Speaker 1: when you get back to Wisconsin? And she says, no,
- 52:05Speaker 1: I don't feel any of that is my job, So
- 52:07Speaker 1: I'm not making any plans. During my whole relationship, I
- 52:11Speaker 1: did all the traveling and making all the plans, so
- 52:14Speaker 1: that's not my job anymore. He's done, I mean she's done.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Done. Yeah, Oh, she's done. And I think his behavior,
- 52:21Speaker 2: his sulky moping, like begging for a crumb, is turning
- 52:27Speaker 2: her off even more. She already has a terminal case
- 52:31Speaker 2: of the ick and this is just killing her.
- 52:36Speaker 1: So Tiaget has gone and now it's Mariah, Ethan, Caylen,
- 52:40Speaker 1: and Isaac at a place and so Mariah, everybody like
- 52:44Speaker 1: Caylen and Isaac order hot chocolate. Eth think it's a
- 52:47Speaker 1: regular coffee and Mariah's like Irish coffee, and she goes,
- 52:50Speaker 1: I felt bad on the only one. They got a drink.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I he that and they're like, do what you want, girl,
- 52:55Speaker 1: drink it up. So Mariah, it says, oh, I hope
- 53:00Speaker 1: he made her fly crickets crickets, crickets, crickets, crickets, and
- 53:05Speaker 1: Isaac goes, so, Ethan, did you feel any different from
- 53:08Speaker 1: the beginning of the trip to the end of the trip,
- 53:10Speaker 1: And he goes, I don't know, and Isaac goes, okay,
- 53:13Speaker 1: we just take it day by day. Yeah, awkward silence.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Three of these these were siblings and they can I know.
- 53:24Speaker 2: It's like, do they even know each other? This is so.
- 53:29Speaker 1: I it's easy.
- 53:33Speaker 2: It's Ethan, and it's Ethan because like, even if Teagan's
- 53:37Speaker 2: not there and he was like, dudes, Palin, we're kind
- 53:42Speaker 2: of blaming blaming Teagan for the awkward energy, but she's
- 53:47Speaker 2: not even there anymore, and it's still super awkward because
- 53:51Speaker 2: it's Ethan's problem. He's ruining everything.
- 53:54Speaker 1: He makes everybody feel so uncomfortable. And so when he
- 53:57Speaker 1: goes on no, and Isaac goes, well, all you can
- 54:00Speaker 1: do is take it day by day. More silence, and
- 54:03Speaker 1: Maria goes, that's good advice. Here, can I get another drink?
- 54:09Speaker 2: I almost paused or I mean timed it, Like, how
- 54:12Speaker 2: much silence has it been? It's been like a full
- 54:15Speaker 2: minute where people are just saying.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Can you imagine they're filming this? Going?
- 54:19Speaker 2: Yeah, can you imagin at another table and you're like,
- 54:22Speaker 2: oh my god, they're filming a TV show. I'm going
- 54:24Speaker 2: to try to eavesdrop. This must be so good, like
- 54:27Speaker 2: The Housewives or something. We're gonna hear a fight and
- 54:30Speaker 2: you're listening and you're like, I don't even think they're talking.
- 54:34Speaker 1: They're not talking. Everyone is sitting in dead silence.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Is this a show about an awkward first date? Do
- 54:42Speaker 2: these people did they just meet on the blind date?
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, So more slurping from everybody, And then Isaac
- 54:52Speaker 1: says that Caylen got too much whipped cream, and she
- 54:56Speaker 1: says she likes whip cream. He goes, you could pull
- 54:58Speaker 1: it off and save it for later, and Kaylen goes
- 55:01Speaker 1: Isaac and at the talking to him, Mariah goes, I
- 55:05Speaker 1: don't need to hear that, and Ethan stares off into
- 55:08Speaker 1: the distance. You know, Ethan Plath is depressed if he
- 55:11Speaker 1: doesn't jump in on a sex joke.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Hello cream and the croissant, We'll never forget this is
- 55:19Speaker 2: his jive and he is just sitting there.
- 55:22Speaker 1: He doesn't even be like good one brother, with creem
- 55:25Speaker 1: lick it off. Am I right, yeah, we got it, Ethan.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Let's keep talking about that in front of our sister.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Yeah. So Maria goes, you know what, I wish. I
- 55:36Speaker 1: wish we could just take him down to the river
- 55:37Speaker 1: and throw him in. I think, yeah, it's a good
- 55:39Speaker 1: cold punch.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Yeah yep. Or leave him there, or.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Leave him there. So Ethan says, so, how did y'all
- 55:49Speaker 1: phil spending time with Teagan? And they all go, oh,
- 55:53Speaker 1: it was good. And Mariah and Caylin like, yeah, we
- 55:55Speaker 1: got to talk to her for a bite. It was nice.
- 55:57Speaker 1: And Mariah goes, yeah, I could tell she just kind
- 55:59Speaker 1: of wanted to spend some time alone, like she wasn't
- 56:03Speaker 1: into this family vibe. You guys it broke up. Yeah,
- 56:06Speaker 1: and Ethan goes, yeah, I don't know if her reservations
- 56:09Speaker 1: are because of me or because of like coming back
- 56:13Speaker 1: to Wisconsin or just like seeing everyone or what. And
- 56:19Speaker 1: Kaylen goes, well, I think you just have to go
- 56:22Speaker 1: and see how it is in Wisconsin. Just take it
- 56:24Speaker 1: day by day. Maria goes, yeah, just give her space
- 56:26Speaker 1: if that's what she's asking for, but also try to
- 56:29Speaker 1: show up for her in the ways that you know
- 56:32Speaker 1: that she needs and he goes, yeah, and Maria goes,
- 56:37Speaker 1: and you can always come here for a reset, but
- 56:39Speaker 1: please don't because you're such a sum Yeah.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Good God. And she's giving good advice and yeah, she's
- 56:46Speaker 2: just not listening or taking it. He's not going to
- 56:49Speaker 2: give her space.
- 56:50Speaker 1: No, no, And the talking Eddy says, when I get
- 56:52Speaker 1: to Wisconsin, I'm looking forward to going to work and
- 56:54Speaker 1: I can move into my house at the first of
- 56:56Speaker 1: the year. Where's he living? Know, this is like a
- 57:00Speaker 1: week or two before Christmas and he can't move in
- 57:02Speaker 1: until jad reverse where is he living his car? It
- 57:07Speaker 1: is in Wisconsin in December. I know.
- 57:10Speaker 2: He just has a blanket and the extra tight jeans,
- 57:14Speaker 2: cuddles up, get a little portable heater in there.
- 57:18Speaker 1: It goes, It goes to the truck stops for showers.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yeah, people do it all the time.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I should look up arrest records in eastern Wisconsin and
- 57:27Speaker 1: see if he ever got arrested for like panhandling, or
- 57:32Speaker 1: like being drunken asleep in public or I mean continuing
- 57:37Speaker 1: no pitch a tent in a public park.
- 57:40Speaker 2: You know, Listen, a lot of people do live in
- 57:42Speaker 2: their cars and or vans. And it's very common now.
- 57:48Speaker 2: And but I wouldn't.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Choose this is Kimberly.
- 57:51Speaker 2: That's not what he is on television.
- 57:54Speaker 1: That's not what this is. This isn't him choosing this
- 57:58Speaker 1: lifestyle too cheap to get.
- 58:00Speaker 2: A to get a hotel.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Then yes, yeah, yes, these are problems of his own making.
- 58:05Speaker 1: He had a yes to say.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:08Speaker 1: So in the talking Daddy says, you know, I'm gonna
- 58:11Speaker 1: get my job. I'm gonna move into my house the
- 58:13Speaker 1: first of the year, and I hope after this there's
- 58:16Speaker 1: more communication and we could do things together. Ria says,
- 58:21Speaker 1: part of me is concerned for Ethan because he's not
- 58:23Speaker 1: in a good place, and I think it would be
- 58:26Speaker 1: good if he could learn to let go of things
- 58:29Speaker 1: that he's not going to be able to fix. Yeah,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and I hope he doesn't spend Christmas alone. Okay, will
- 58:36Speaker 1: you get asked him to stay? Okay? Yeah, Black Screen
- 58:40Speaker 1: of Death. Two weeks after Christmas, Eastern Wisconsin. Okay. Tiki
- 58:47Speaker 1: goes to coffee with her gorgeous mother.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Yeah, how old is she? She looks like thirty.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I mean Tigan's like twenty four. So I bet, I mean,
- 58:55Speaker 1: I bet the mom is literally like forty four, don't
- 58:57Speaker 1: you think.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Yeah, So Tegan says, my mother is everything to me.
- 59:04Speaker 1: She's been there the highs and the lows, and the
- 59:06Speaker 1: deep valleys and the high mountaintops everything. She's helped me
- 59:09Speaker 1: in more ways than I'll ever be to explain. And
- 59:12Speaker 1: for Ethan, you know, I'm glad I went on the
- 59:14Speaker 1: trip and I thought we could work on a friendship.
- 59:18Speaker 1: I've friend zoned him for the time being, but I
- 59:20Speaker 1: don't know where it goes. So her mom asked her
- 59:23Speaker 1: about the Montana trip, which was like three or four
- 59:25Speaker 1: weeks ago, but they have to discuss it on camera,
- 59:28Speaker 1: and Tegan says, yeah, it was a good trip and
- 59:30Speaker 1: it was good to see everyone, but you know how
- 59:33Speaker 1: Ethan is, he was emotional and he just internalizes everything
- 59:37Speaker 1: and shuts down. Yeah, and mom says the talking head, Look,
- 59:42Speaker 1: we know Ethan. He's been nice. We've been nice to him.
- 59:46Speaker 1: He's been in our home and yeah, we were all
- 59:48Speaker 1: a little shocked, and he was like surprise, Hey, I
- 59:50Speaker 1: live here now. If he wants to heal and men
- 59:55Speaker 1: as a friendship, I'm open to that, but obviously his
- 59:59Speaker 1: end goal is to win her back and finding that
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: middle ground is tricky, and for Christmas, I didn't invite
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: him over, but I wanted to extend some Christmas spirit
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: and I wasn't exactly sure where he's staying. And I
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: certainly do wish him the best in the words of
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Sean Robinson, but the relationship is all over the place
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and up in the air, and Teagan has been heartbroken
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and devastated obviously, And on Christmas, we also had Teagan's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: child with us, so it was our choice to create
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: a boundary there. He did something in front of the kid.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I think you're right, yeah, so Tiagan says to her mom. She says,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: we text, but we don't talk on the phone or
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: see each other. And I knew he would be alone
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: for Christmas because he doesn't have any family, so we
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: made the choice. She's saying this to her mother as
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: if her mother doesn't know. She says, so we made
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the choice to offer him Christmas dinner, and mom says, yeah,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: that was the right thing to do, and so he
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: can go. And that's the only time I've seen him
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: since Montana, so his talking of I'm hoping once I
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: get there, we'll be able to see each other and
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: do things all the time, he has not reached out
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and tried to make one plan. Now not one, so
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I'm talking to it, Ti Goes. I was raised that
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Christmas is kind of a big deal and no one
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: should be alone on Christmas, and I didn't want him
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: in my house by any means, but we made a
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: decision to offer him a plate of food. He came over,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I handed him the food, and he left.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: They literally gave him a plate of food like they
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: were serving someone at a homeless shelter on Christmas, and
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: then did not let him inside. And then we're like
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: bye bye.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Go back to the park.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: And he was hoping to be welcomed back into their
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: home and lingered in the area like a creepy ass
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: stalker instead of going back where he has tons of
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: family that he could hang out with. Instead of that,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: you go to Minnesota, he could go so to where
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: his grandparents are. He could have easily gone back and
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: hung out with the Kim on the farm like he
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: instead chose to linger hover in the sidelines in eyeshot
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: of her house, like probably looking through the window. Oh,
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: they're opening presents now, maybe they'll sense that I'm out
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: here and they'll invite me in just the A is
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: so creepy.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: It is so The mom says to Tecan, do you
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: think there's a world where you could just be friends?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: And she goes, I mean I could, but I don't
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: think he could. They're talking to Deacon says, he's definitely
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: now doing a lot of things I asked him to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: do when we were together, and it sucks that it's
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: happening now and not when we were dating. When I
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: was in love with him. I did ask him to
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: move here multiple times. And the producer goes, Okay, so
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you said when I was in love with him, and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: she goes right, and he says, you're not in love
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: with him now, and she says, no, I am not
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: in love with him. We are not together. I have
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: love for him as a person that I care about,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and as well being last year, I was head over
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: heels in love with that man. I fully thought I
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: was going to marry him and be with him for
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the rest of my life. But now I look at
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: him and I feel a flood of emotions like sad,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: like what could have been or what should have been?
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: And then I get mad thinking about all the hurt
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: he calls and I don't mean to be mean, and
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I think it comes out of a place of protecting
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: myself and giving myself time to think about where I'm
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: at and to process it, which is all valid, all valid.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: So her mother says to her, you know, people make mistakes,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: but you need to do what's best for you. But
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I don't think he's the type to give up. And
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: this is complex, and he can't just say I'm sorry.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: And here's a rose to take some deeper work. So
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: again there's some private situation of something that happened here
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: that she's saying. It's complex. He can't just say I'm sorry.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: And it's not just because of the driving off and
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: leaving her, because he did that all the time.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: M hm.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: So Teagan says, well, he really struggles with forgiving himself
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: and mom says, yeah, everything is very internalized. He doesn't
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: show it at the surface, but there's so much emotion underneath.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: He has a lot of healing to do. And it
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: would be hard to be in a relationship with a
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: person who does not know who they are and acts.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Like that, and yeah, drags everybody down. Like if you're
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: trying to win back this person, be a person that
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: they would want to be around. Are you acting like
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: someone who people want to be around? No, because not
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: even your siblings want to be around you, because you're
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: so boring and brooding and moping and annoying dark and
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: it's a little scary, it is, And I would never
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: I don't want to be around you. So do the
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: work so that like it's I'm going to win back
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: this girl by just sitting here crying into my cocoa
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: instead of speaking like that's not No, be at least
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: be a person that would she want to be friends with,
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: And then you she doesn't even want to be He
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: wouldn't want to be friends with someone like this?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Is it like we're not going to talk about Kim's
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: drinking problem on camera. No one's going to mention Ethan's
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: drinking problem on camera, so it can't be brought up.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: They've all agreed, just like they all agreed about Kim.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: You know, mm hmm, so we talking head. Katinkin's mom says,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Ethan strikes me as the kind of person who questions
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: if he's worthy of love truly, and maybe demonstrations of
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: love overwhelm him. And if you feel unworthy of something,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you don't know how to accept it and maybe you're
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: not ready for it. And my advice to Ethan, if
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: he asked, would be you have to work on you.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Not to say he's broken, but he does need to heal.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: He left his parents zone and jumped right into a marriage.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: He never had a time to figure out who is
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Ethan Blath? Yeah, great Pohite point too. So Teagan says,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Ethan asked me to come over and see the house
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: he's renting, and she says, you know, I'm just here
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: for the ride. I'm not going to close any doors.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I'm not going to be like, oh you moved here,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: let's get back together. But I'll come and see your house.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: And the talking head they ask her like, what do
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you think is the future with Ethan? And she says,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I don't write anything off, and I'd never say never.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: What's meant to be will be. And there could be
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: a world in which we fall back in love and
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: be with each other. Yeah, there's a world and that
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: could happen. So that's all he needs to hear. He's
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: never moving, No, He's never. So now we get this
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: dramatic violin music like something's coming. It's like woo like
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: this and it says, somewhere in the Midwest, you see
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Kim Plath in her minivan and here.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: She goes d and yeah, she the wicked witch is
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: coming to town.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: That's what it's what it felt like. But it was
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: very dramatic.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Violin with her overly eye lined eyes stare in a
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: hole into anyone who cuts her off on that for
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: you A.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Yep, I wonder. I don't think when I say something
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: on one device it comes to this device. But if
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: it did, I would love to send you a picture
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it didn't come there that I sent earlier to Amy Archer,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: just to scare her.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: She's a Kim in the car.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: No, it's better. You know what I can do. I
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: can pull it. I'll hold up right here.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: This is good. This is good podcasting right here.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I mean, and my my comment is not nice. Add
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: a photos library. Okay, I'm gonna pull it up. I
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: sent it to Amy to scare her. She hasn't written
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: me back, which means she's recording. Whenever we have friends
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: and we're like, they didn't write me back, that means
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: they're recording. Okay, how do okay? Photos? Here we go
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: here it is. Here's the picture that I sent that
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: was a long way to go to get to it.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: But here it is. This is the picture I sent.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: No, why does she look like that?
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Why that doesn't look like her at all, does it?
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: No? Her eyes are getting droopier, and it's so thickly
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: lined under the body. Her skin looks waxy. Her side
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: part is so much more extreme. It's the Corey Ritchin's
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: side part.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Her air's not as fluffy as he usually is.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Yeah, she just looks droopy. Dog her eyes look droopy.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Everything looks droopy. Yeah, Oh, Kim.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: This woman does not look good. Okay. So somewhere in
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: the Midwest, she says, well, this road trip is on expected.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: But Ethan moved to Wisconsin and it doesn't sound like
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: he's doing all that great. So I wanted to go
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: and check in on him and bring him some things
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to help him get settled in his new house. So
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: we see some stuff, you know, in the car, his
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: guitar and whatever, and she says Christmas was a great day.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: And then Ethan calls us on speaker, so we all
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: were talking to him on speaker, and he was really
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: bummed out and sounded just depressed.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Sounds like like he normally does yees.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Sounds like, oh God, who wants to talk to him?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Hand the phone around, I'm not here.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I'm not here, Ethan, i gotta go. I'm gonna hand
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: the phone over somebody else.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: So she says, he spent the day in his car
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: at a park, waiting and hoping, fatiguing to show up
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: so they could spend time together. At any point, did
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: she say I'm going to leave my family and my
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: child on Christmas and come see you at the park.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: No, he just thought this is our special place. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: And apparently she brought him some leftovers from her Christmas dinner.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I guess it was just real quick, like, here's some leftovers,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: and then she left. Well, I mean you went there,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: but that's basically what happened, She says. You know, I'm worried.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I'm worried about him. If there's any hope of the
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: two of them repairing the relationship, they would be together
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: on Christmas. It seems to be like a red flag. No, Kim,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: it's teaking protecting her peace. Don't you do it? Don't
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: you do it. I'll get mine.
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: If it's a giant red flag. I can't not over
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: my cookie.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to make mine make a big sound, but
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: it doesn't whush, and mine just goes eh. So funny. Okay,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: people have gone to look at the videos to see
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: what the flag looks like, as they can hear going
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: in front of the microphone. So she's right. If Tegan
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: had any love for him, she would have invited him
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: over for Christmas.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: But something happened, because even if you say you want
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: to be friends with him, you would invite a friend
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: who has nowhere to go over for Christmas.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you would be like, we're opening presents whatever, but
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: we're gonna eat at five. You want to come over
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: at five? Yeah, So she says, I worry about Ethan.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I worry his past relationships have scarred him. Okay, all right,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: go ahead. Everybody blaming Olivia's blame Olivia. She says, I'm
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: not even sure my visiting is going to help him,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: because he can be very hard to draw information out of.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: And everybody's looking out for Ethan right now. He went
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: through a hard marriage. He's coming out the other side.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: He's very vulnerable, and he's done that before. Whereas the
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: last ditch effort, he moves across the country and thinks
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: it's gonna make everything better, but it didn't. Yeah, it's
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: called it's rinse and repeat, rents and.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Repeat, yep, and it's too late each time.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Each time. And with Tegan, I'm sure it's hard because
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Ethan did whatever he did. I know some of it,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and I'm sure I don't know all of it. This
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: is where I'm hoping in the kitchen, Teagan's gonna tell
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: her what he did. Yeah, and I'm sure that it's
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: hard for Tiagan that his divorce is not final, just
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: like it was hard for Ken for all those years.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: And Yeah, I know she's having a hard time with
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: him right now, but I wouldn't mind sitting down with
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: her to find out what's up.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Oh my god, Yeah.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Give her give her the old she needs to death.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Stare, give her the old drunk panda eyes. It's knock
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: gonna if that. If just Ethan being around didn't change
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: her mind, having this lady in her kitchen, it's not
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: gonna change her mind either. It's gonna remind her even
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: further wise, she doesn't want to be part of his
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: life or his family.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Yeah, So Barry and Zach are in a tiny sauna.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: This is next time, I'm sorry. Next time. On Barry
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: and Zach are in a tiny sauna and why so
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: maybe wonder I'll have a date and we can come
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: in here. Oh my god, Barry.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Instead, I'll sit here with my son in law, not
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: my best who is my best friend?
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Barry says to Zach after the sauna. You don't realize
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: you're in the presence of the plath daddy, and Zach says, oh, dear,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I will I will never call you that.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: No, this has gone to his head, this plat never
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: never told him, no, never told it.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Teagan goes over to get a tour at Ethan's new place.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: It's one couch and a sleeping bag on the floor.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: So on the floor again, who wouldn't want to hook
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: up with this guy?
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: He has made a lovely home for her visit. Look
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: out welcome on.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: The floor and there's a toilet that flushes, so at
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: least he's not in the backseat of his car.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Don't you want to come the night with me here?
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, bring your daughter. We could be a happy family.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: On the sleeping bag, she's like, oh, and she looks around.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: By the way of those three weeks when he was
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: sleeping in his car. He could have been buying furniture
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: to get delivered when he moved in. Seriously, Kim arrives
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: over to Ethan's and Tigan is there, and Kim says
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: to Tigan and says, I assume you guys are just friends,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: and Hegan goes, I would say it's a step under
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: that at this moment, and Kim goes, well, I don't
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: know if all of this is helping him. It's not.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: It was not Teagan's fault, nov in this shitty house
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: with the I'm bad for this.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: She did not ask him to move there after they
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: broke up.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: She was probably hoping she would move on with her life.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Exactly, and now she can't because he's lingering around the
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: town like a full on dementor who's gonna steal your
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: soul at any second with their sheer unhappiness, and it's
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: gonna suck everyone around him into it, And so you
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: have this goblin ghost walking around moping. She again did
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: not ask for that. She asked him to move there
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: when they were together, but now she didn't, and now
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: she's just trying to be a decent person and not
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: totally ignore him.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: And I think I think he's now getting blamed. She
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: said that a couple episodes ago, like I'm a people pleaser,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and so of course I want to talk to him
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: and hear what he has to say. But none of
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: this is my problem, right, No. And if you look
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: at her Instagram, she's living a pretty happy life. She
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: goes to concerts. She's say, nineteen out of twenty of
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: her pictures are.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: This.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Nineteen of the twenty of her pictures are bathroom selfies,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: and she looks great. She is the age of well,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: they are twenty seven, they are at that age of
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: bathroom selfies. And she maybe is out there trying to
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: be cute on the internet looking for a new Eastern
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Wisconsin boyfriend.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: And unfortunately, I hate to get really dark, but I
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: worry for her that if she does move on to
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: another person, he this is a dangerous time with someone
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: like Ethan.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I agree, I completely agree. And whatever the private matter
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: was was something where she does not feel comfortable having
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: him there just to sit at the table with her
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: parents and her child and maybe her sister or whoever
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: else for was dinner.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: She she has drawn that boundary was like she said,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: and she said, I don't want him in my house. Yeah,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: so whatever the private thing that happened was was not
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: the incident when he left her at the grandparents house.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: There was something about way worse.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, and unfortunately we if they don't tell us,
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: we'll just imagine that it was really bad.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Something really rible in front of her child. Yes, yeah,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: but we don't know. We don't know, but we don't know. Everybody,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: that's it. Thank you so much for listening to Welcome
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: to Platfill season eight. As you guys know Keisha and
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I for listening over on Prime. We just finished up
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: season three. We're moving it to season four. So season four,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I think is when Micah is in la and living
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: his best life with some diverse friends. So that'll be nice.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Yes, I loved his friends.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I loved them too, So that'll be fun to see.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: That'll be a fun time. And I do believe this
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: is when Ethan and Olivia like go to Paris and
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: then they come back, and then that's when Mariah is
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: mad saying Olivia like stole her Spotify log in. I
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: believe I believe that's what's going to be coming up
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: for us. And again Keisha has not watched forwards. She
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: knows nothing. I loved it. It's really great.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: And I love that you keep teasing who Lydia's mystery
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: man is because I do not remember at all, and
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: so every time you tease Keisha, you're teasing me as well,
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: because I watched all of this and I do not remember.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: It was never said.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Oh well, then I still have no idea.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: It's a It was something that came out on the
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: internet that I got confirmed by my plaith source.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: Okay, can't wait.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: M hm, you don't don't tell me, So you're to
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: tell Keisha before?
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, because I was not following behind the scenes
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: drama at that time. I wasn't really on Reddit or anything,
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: and reading I wasn't. I don't think I knew. I
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: really don't unless when you say it, I'm gonna know,
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: but I think find out.
