- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: Poison Rana.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_03]: Hello, hello, hello, Davey Portman here from Poison Rana.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_03]: It is Sunday.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_03]: It is 12 30 p.m. Eastern time.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: And we are live with a brand new episode of Poison Rana Live.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_03]: Braden is off today.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_03]: He's he's in
- 0:27[SPEAKER_03]: Upstate New York, Seneca, Niagara, celebrating with his girlfriend, gambling, hopefully winning us lots and lots of money.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_03]: But I have a very special guest this week, someone who last time I saw him, I think we were in a
- 0:42[SPEAKER_03]: in a bar in Denang Vietnam with a attractive lady and funny ears serving a string, whilst a guy was trying to fix our phone.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_03]: It is Beno from the grapple podcast and Beno and Hamflit in your house.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_03]: Beno, how are you doing today?
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing well, mate.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy to be breathing standing as you know when last time I was in Toronto.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: I was mistaken for breathing, not once, but twice.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm gonna choose to take that as a compliment to use as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a like as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a as a
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: Just about honestly I was feeling it for a week I was like I've just gotten like wait am I just oh no I don't know what I just so happy because we went out and I was trying to show you the local bossy and there is a bunch of one there's basically one street so we went to like the the the best part here I'd say corner bar which is just over the road from where I live and like yeah it just got to a plate where it was just like okay I feel like is this me or like it's just how people normally react to the killer and then I saw you
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad it wasn't me, maybe it was watered down, we thought, maybe there's something in it for maybe what else.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_03]: Something was up is something we had, I mean, I, I was working last night and we had a few tequila's at the end of my shift and I feel absolutely fine today, but I bumped into my other friends, Sean, who was in Vietnam the same time as us, and he said the same, he was like, I felt awful the next day.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_03]: So there was something going on, something we had there that didn't, didn't sit right with us because I was definitely feeling it.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_03]: You were certainly feeling it.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but from time, I had a great time there in Vietnam.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_03]: I did record a show just last week on our Patreon feed with Braden, kind of catching up and talking about my trip and everything.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_03]: I feel I'll be back there at Subpoint.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: I've started looking at teaching English as foreign language courses and stuff like that.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm very jealous of and I think you open my eyes a bit being over there of what a great life you can have.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's the way to do it.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think I blew your mind, folks, when we at the end of all night, you might not remember this event, so the local convenience store for just the last couple of drinks because you can buy it at any time in Vietnam, there are no rules.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: And we were just sat outside, they've been like, the ATP cancer bear, I just bought a packet of cigarettes for about literally the ATP also when you, I remember you just start with that brig for like, I think
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: do this.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: This could be a thing, you know, but poison on it from a from the Namco beer thing.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get that careful source of the liquor there.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: Be teaching.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the ways to do it, mate.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: We'll bring everyone to the John and Wayne next.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, get in touch with Vietnam Pro Wrestling and create your own WrestleMania for them and everything else.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be great.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_03]: Just just all move over there.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but no, I loved it, and you guys are absolutely killing it for those of you listening.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure everyone knows who Beno is at this point, being a member of the post-restling network for years and has hopped on points and ran her a bunch of times, but look, let everyone who might be finding us for the first time know what you've got going on with grapple and and Beno and Hamflip.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll start with Ben on Hanford, obviously.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Hanford did the scene, I showed the Champise here with you guys.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, yeah, when I went out to season two of Ben on Hanford, so we've moved from the new generation period, which we both daily love into the Attitude there or most were two shows off the Attitude there.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: We have to, with a lot, as you know, as a man who loves Google Graphic, they do have a lot of conversations you'd be able to see into, like, when we unveil a scratch logo that we have to wait until December 1997.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: But we've launched it with season two.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: We have to say that we're all Blacks, we're all Grey's, we're all Dark Reds now.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, apparently the boom is coming on really, to discover whether that's the case or an apple.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, every two weeks, we have a show about that.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: A housekeeping, looking at the rows of the month or looking at the full in your house review, with a paper view.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: So check that out, Beno and Hanford.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: In your house, wherever podcasts are sold.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, like you say, hopefully your listeners know we're not by now with it.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: We're grapple, but yes, sir.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: Grapple, no week, wherever podcasts are sold.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: We've just got done with our many a week coverage.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: So million shows kind of came out over that page.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, we've got lots more fun stuff over there.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: are tealish shows that are always a big winner over there, we just did one on WrestleMania, you can check out, we have an asktraple, Ailee this month as well.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really speaking if you enjoy this show and they're kind of round up of what's going on on the rest of the world, but we do quite similar there, stuff over there on our own, hopefully it too.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, do we check it out if you have an already?
- 5:31[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_03]: I love listening to you guys.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_03]: I both grapple and benham and hamphlet.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_03]: I just finished the ground zero review you guys did and Yeah, your main your coverage coverage.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_03]: I like I have you recovered from that.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: I was there a show you didn't watch that weekend
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't face any happy, I just couldn't do it on the, I think that was the Sunday afternoon, but outside of that pretty much everything, and you know, the answer is no, I haven't recorded it, as you know, like any time we did meet in Vietnam, you'd be like, oh, is this too late to meet Ben, I'd be like, dude, that's like my breakfast time, like, I'm not, I'm not usually up to like 10pm, it's our mate, I'll be all good, but I feel like maybe we broke me, like keeping up with obviously all the indices that was going on was one job, but you had to forget there's like three days of that, and I think that's the best way to do that, and I think that's the best way to do that, and that's the best way to do that, and that's the best way to do that, and that's the best way to do that, and that's the best way to do that, and that's the best
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then the two WrestleMania nights, which were a killer over there, again, I remember as we were talking about it out here, you were like, oh, I'd love that lifestyle, you know, paper view start about 7 a.m. Vietnamese time, don't attend a year.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: If you look, he got on to the post show.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: And by lunch time, you days good.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, my life is for the best of that.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: That is just, it tends to vary late in the better night.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm still up at 10 a.m. at 11 a.m.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: So honestly, I haven't got back to normal yet.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's still a, it's still a wagon progress.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I guess for you, you're on a UK schedule, whereas like, yeah, that's the beginning.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_03]: I'd be like, we'd be doing post shows immediately after, whereas you're doing more like a nine PM UK time sort of thing.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: Then with the rest of the boys.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, that's tough.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, like I know you've done your roundups who grapple, but what were your highlights from everything you saw many weekend?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_03]: Like did you have to add to the weekend or like most crazy match of the weekend or whatever?
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, that's the other thing unfortunately.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't very good this year, but I still had a great time.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and that was the main thing for me.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: I just enjoy, we've done the nine years in a row now.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: I just enjoy, you know, my sick-o watching all these dash shows like through the night, and then the gems are just getting a little bit harder to find.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say this year.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think they were overwhelmingly like at least our day of school, then our little community kind of felt the same way with it.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously a blue pante.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: He was the MVP of WrestleMania weekend, if you want to say an obviously little to my Guerrero.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: There with him, as far as like the two dad's match from the CMLL show and pretty much anything from that, was it the palms, they run any show from that venue, walk the best at the best production, you know, was just the shiny, yes thing kind of, was nice to look at, as opposed to like the GCW, but you were, yeah, some of the ways that the weekend took place,
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: long forward to ironically enjoying that and kind of you know it would be hoping it would be so by that it would be good it was just so bad it was bad and so that wasn't great to obviously spring break had some highlights the summer match I would probably go out there as well and enjoy the amazing rhythm bandido and from that palms venue as well that was that was a bit of fun too but outside of that yeah there's I can't really pick any of those out but a lot of two star matches a lot of two and a half star matches and
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Not much else going, I'm really, yeah.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: Baby, check out how's the glory for the bandee, though, much, maybe check out CMLL, but outside of that, you're all right, you know, you can wait for two years for another minute of weekend in the US.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_03]: I like, are we at that point now where you know when you get to that age where you're really trying to get excited about Christmas?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: You remember just loving Christmas.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_03]: You remember the enthusiasm and just so excited to open presents, and then the year finally comes when you go,
- 9:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh shit, it's Christmas tomorrow and you don't feel in the spirit at all because that's certainly how I felt this year.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_03]: I do find it hard watching these indie shows at home, like indie shows being there.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't matter how bad or stupid it is.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_03]: Being there is a lot of fun watching with peaking audio and everything at home isn't necessarily my thing, although there are highlights here and there, but I think the thing is is
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: all the big names are with a major company now and especially when you're having things like we we saw with you know TNA wrestlers being pulled from certain matches or like that even those dream in dream indie matches can't really happen much anymore so I think it's it's like a lot of slim pickings now and and obviously everyone's talked about.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: Nadia and the lack of wrestling and the commercials and all that, and then we're going to Saudi next year.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: So who knows if we're going to get any of this supporting content and stuff.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: So it it really feels like maybe this was the last.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_03]: last mania of its kind for a while and yeah we'll see how it is and I found it funny because despite all the negative stuff towards WWE TKO WrestleMania, the main event at night too I fucking loved.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like you want to like I want to like hate the fed and just be like a fuck you this big corporate machine and don't care about wrestling and then like for me easily match to the weekend like Roman versus punk and I think exceeded expectations for a lot and
- 10:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm definitely more fed-pilled as you'd say than you are, but hearing you guys sort of rave about the matches, but I'm like, okay, I'm not just on my own, I thought it was fantastic, and one of the best WWE matches I can think of for a long time.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, definitely.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I think that's that was the thing about the weekend for duty.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't it.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: It was like that night won.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like it was full cathartic.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: It was a hate watch for everybody.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: And it was a shame.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of the like there was like half of the people.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: It was always going to hate watch it no matter what.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I fit into that group a little bit.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I just I felt badly like say the for the for the more fed type people who were kind of watching it, hoping for something and even them, you know, joining in to it.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: And it was kind of universally panned for all the good reasons.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: I know you guys went through
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: obviously we went through as well so yeah we kind of it was kind of a podcast this dream though I kind of thought so I think it's maybe the same for you guys you kind of got to go into you know two footed on a night one and then night two like I say it at those oh two openers that were great the SPM matches obviously with the Brock Rattimes and there
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: and a lot about retirement and a lot of matches well and then yeah of course like punk and Roman like I'm not afraid to admit me it wasn't just that it was 10 in the morning air not you know without the couple of beers and I hadn't slept in six days and almost had a tiramere you know I was standing in pace at around the room on the airfalls that never happened to me and like there'll be a few matches and obviously the whole punk.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: presentation, the ROH theme, all of it was very much tailored for me as well, but same as you, I kind of got done with us, you know, that's not usually my style to love a big time, you know, do do do be much like that, am I wrong and then watch the back the next day and love good still the second day, it was a great one of the all time WrestleMania main event, but I'd say of the modern WrestleMania, whatever we call them, definitely like up there is like a
- 12:35[SPEAKER_03]: For me, and like I'm repeating what I've said to Braden, but like the last couple of years, I think the word story has been thrown around a lot, and I think a lot of people confuse, storytelling with explicitly spelling out to us the audience, even in matches,
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: The build was a little weird, but the match actually made sense of it with your old comment, and that kind of stuff.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: And I think a Roman Reigns in another match would have probably repeatedly throughout the match been going, your old Phil, your old man stayed down, stayed down, fill all of that.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe that's punk being like, hey, dial that back.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_03]: We can tell that with
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was perfect.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: Just told that story telling in wrestling for me where you can see the like how the match is swinging like punk is throwing everything like desperately throwing everything at Roman and for the most part getting the better of Roman but his body is broken down and it eventually
- 13:57[SPEAKER_03]: Undertaker at 33, where they were trying to tell the same story, but Undertaker just couldn't go that.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_03]: So this was a similar idea, but just executed so much better.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it's definitely going to be on my list and a lot of people's lists at the end of the year.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can see it absolutely being like the duty to be much of the year they shared and you're totally right.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it was like Matty said it on our previous show going into it and you haven't cried it was right.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was skeptical on whether the two styles could blend together as you say there.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that was exactly it.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: The point you mentioned there were like Roman maybe did.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: They're leaning into his cinema, talking to punk kind of bag, punk's reaction to that was well, I'm just going to punch you in the face, which is very CM Punko, there's an it and you add that, blend up the two stars, you add punkers, they're at least in the WWE, they're in the more traditional wrestler versus Roman, you know, with the big hits and maybe that little bit of drama and it did, it created magic and the ad, a chemistry that I wasn't expecting out of the mouth as well as, like you say, you know, they're a lot, you say story in wrestling, you know, there's this good and bad stories, I like to hear from
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: as well, but this was a good story well told on source material that you're totally right was Ropey and the week's going in you know I'm a massive punk guy but I don't think he brought his A game and the promos and the lead into but did it all matter on the night not really like to I'll give them both credit masters made it work and yeah just a great great match.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's interesting as well because Roman's best matches are against these more old-school wrestling mentality guys.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like his best matches have been the Cody matches, the Daniel Bryan matches and the AJ Styles matches in my opinion.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_03]: And there must be something there that just meshes well, right?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: Like his sort of cinema thinking with the old-school resting mentality where it just works.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's like they've easily been Roman's best matches in WWE.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_03]: Whereas when he's against more another cinema guy like a John Cena or something, it just never really worked.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_03]: So it is interesting to see.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, if anything is more comfortable in a skin is any of those scenarios, like yeah, and Roman, rather than being in there with the scene, I had that brought to that list as well of it as people as well on a slightly different style.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I haven't really thought about it like that.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's, uh, something to it.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it was funny, Braden said to me earlier in the week.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, oh, I'm going to Santa Co with my girlfriend.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think you could find someone to cover this week or, or he said, it's nothing's really going on this week.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_03]: We could probably skip it.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_03]: And then, of course, WWE releases a whole load of people, which we do have to talk about.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go through all the names there.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'm off the top of my head, but was it 20?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: 23?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: Was it?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: something like that.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: But let's start with the the big one, a shocker throughout the wrestling world.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_03]: Trill London, being released from WWE, Trill London, formerly known as Trill Williams, obviously played college football for Syracuse University, was on the Miami Dolphins team,
- 17:07[SPEAKER_03]: A bold regular absolute shock here, Trill London.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_03]: What were your thoughts on this?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Devastase of Mays, I've never got a record from it.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've always been a fan of what's his name, Drill London.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: Big fan of the London.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: I've all the potential in the world.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I can't believe that the people on another one, Tony Carni opened up the pair of strings, make them on.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: So that's it.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, let's go through some of the big names here.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think maybe the way it's six, that was a big bulk release there.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you're listening to you guys.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_03]: I know Garathon grapples off and licking his lips when it comes to release day.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously, get the obvious out the way.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it sucks.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_03]: People have lost their jobs.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_03]: like huge money big bonuses for execs and all the like and then cutting people that same week it's itch shitty the contracts are shitty the contracts aren't real contracts you know it's a it's a rolling 90 day contract we we go through this every year but there is also the uproar like oh my god i can't believe they released
- 18:21[SPEAKER_03]: Alba fire, and it's like, well, can't you?
- 18:24[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's, are there any big surprises on this list for you, Beno?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, like, as a star on point, I'm glad you said the girl in the past.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: That, I do mostly.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: Books Lee agree with that, but like it is, it's part of it, and it's, you know, it's gonna happen in any sport.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think the difference in wrestling as you can, the rightly point out is in the world of, you know, wrestlers not really have an agent, so not really any bargain in power.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's very one way street isn't it?
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: And the next time,
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: If somebody on this list, for example, don't just to pull an aim out the hat, how else the black could have asked for his release three months ago, and would have got told to fuck off with me, you know, and that's just how one side of the relationship is, and that's a broad stroke, something that does need fixing, but the power and fixing, that's with the wrestlers and agents and unionization and all of those things, and maybe the somebody on this list that might have shelf for that again on Twitter as well, but that's where the surprises come really, it's like,
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're right, you know, the Y6, I guess you could say, that's a surprise, or I'm considering, you know, I'll regularly be used, not just recently, but it clearly, that was something Triple H felt like a hostage in being in a inbox and like he was tied down and forced to do it over this, this last period.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: And this was like the last standard doing the few with the MFTs, but like, yeah, you tied that in.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think them, I think, obviously, Alistair Black, being a big one there, as well.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: again, somebody you if you believe report was supposed to be involved in, you know, the big story rest of me here weekend.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: So, like, yeah, that got to have been like a shock to have and I've got plenty of cuts on that as well.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, CariSaint's probably the other one there.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: They're the big ones for me.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: They're the ones that like,
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think they're all expected just purely because of their use on TV versus, you know, whether there is an argument or not an argument for it, the other names that you say, you can't really be too surprised.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: Can you go and open down the list when you look at their usage on TV or on on usage, poor.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: It goes back to question, yeah, like if you wear a planet to it, to release at least those three or four at the top of the list, like, why are these so regularly on TV recently?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: And, yeah, what changed in that time?
- 20:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, why it's six.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's like creative, right?
- 20:31[SPEAKER_03]: They just don't know how to write for these people.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's the apart from the initial debut, which I actually thought they did quite well.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_03]: I liked that when they debuted, the why it's six.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_03]: They weren't like trying to pretend that these were supernatural beings.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: They were these are five people who are broken, who are some way, whether friends with Bray Wyatt or inspired by Bray Wyatt that have come together and have created these altering those to sort of
- 21:04[SPEAKER_03]: protect themselves from the harshness of the world and stuff like that.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought it was a real smart way and it was the one of the sort of triple age taking over how can we make sense of this group.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: And it worked, you know, the opening vignettes and how they debuted and then very quickly they ran out of ideas and just reverted to being, oh, they're magic.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: this spooky magic and we don't know how else to really write for them and had this got awful feud over a lantern which what does the lantern really mean?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_03]: Why did solo score what the lantern?
- 21:43[SPEAKER_03]: It just felt like it's a way to get these matches on TV and you know how to define all match they had for the MFTs was kind of fun as just a bit of a
- 21:58[SPEAKER_03]: They clearly just didn't know how to write for these people, and yeah, I'm not overly surprised.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_03]: Now, what do you see them?
- 22:07[SPEAKER_03]: What do you see these guys doing?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_03]: Do you see them sticking together as a group?
- 22:10[SPEAKER_03]: Do you see them all going their separate way?
- 22:12[SPEAKER_03]: Do what do you think?
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say, well, I mean, first of all, like what you've just described there is something on the Bray Wyatt story.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: How many times for that?
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: The comeback, big entrance, great music.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: We all get excited, even me, you know, when I was, you know, built it to hate the Bray Wyatt character.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then as the weeks ago, Bob, I was like, all right, okay, creatively, they haven't got an idea or his ideas or two, wacky for them.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: and it never worked.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of strange to think, yeah, this tribute act to Bray Wyatt, kind of went the same way and yeah, like I remember being a Liverpool, like a Liverpool wrestling con that we had on it and at the time when, you know, that weird set of releases when Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman were both released on it.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what I just said about Bray there, he was a big time star and we did it at the time, so it was a big shock, same for Braun Strowman, and seeing them both, you know, doing signings there with people just gone.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: This passion was into with the people like three months ago, I was this possible.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's probably the future for these guys.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's a level, but I think you'll see them as a group at that type of thing, at your local convention, maybe.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: you want up in the appearance, maybe on special occasions, but outside that I think they'll go the separate ways.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think Joe Gacy's somebody probably, you know, runs in the place which is expecting to land back into the, in these, he was always wild as it would be to be signing I think, you know, the other probably most noticeable one there, but Dallas,
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: probably goes back to doing whatever, but what that was just doing before he was resigning before, but both of you would be seems to have his own life outside the rest of them there as well.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a dexteraluma spines are back into your name, but I think, yeah, you see the parts will strip off and go in different directions and it'll be more like a novelty event to sell a few pictures and a reunion type thing you'll probably see from time to time with them rather than any body going in on the group, Paul Hogg.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I see them occasionally they'll be a comic content where you can get a photo with all fly members and stuff like that.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I just think it's, I've been banging on about creative in WWE, but, you know, some of these people, like like a Joe Gacy, as you mentioned, incredibly creative and charismatic performer, same with Bray.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: And the fact it's not working.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's down to the performer here.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: It's the writers and I, I, I, I, I
- 24:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's just... You think it's medium a little bit as well?
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think it fits?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think it fits something like that can fit?
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: The medium we put a wrestling.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: I always love scratching your brain on stuff like this, but obviously you think it's a background on stuff like that.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think you approach these stories differently.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Is there a wrestling world where you can tell stories with a group like this?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: I mean...
- 24:44[SPEAKER_03]: It worked with the undertaker, didn't it?
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: I know it was a different era, like the late 90s and stuff, but all that like whole undertaker and pain, story and ministry of darkness and stuff was so popular back then.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I think we're in a different time, but I feel you, and I've been saying this for so long, you need to hire writers, like actual people that went
- 25:10[SPEAKER_03]: went to a good university to learn creative writing and know how to structure stories and know how to write for different voices and stuff like that.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_03]: Rather than people that used to be dropped on their heads for a living being like, oh, I could write this, you know?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yes, you can have some wrestling minds in there, but it's characters like this.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_03]: I would love to see some actual writers be given the challenge and not having the old head be like, well, that's just not how we do things.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: Give it a go.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's so...
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: creatively stale at the moment and and I think the fact you had a performer like a brave warrior who yeah that initial release I'm the same with you I wasn't I wanted to like brave warrior I like the idea of brave warrior you could see he's just bubbling with all these ideas and and stuff and was captivating just
- 26:08[SPEAKER_03]: the content was was shitty.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_03]: I what he was given was shitty and it's it's been the same with these guys now.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't necessarily think their ceilings are as high as a Bray Wyatt.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_03]: I I actually think Joe Gacy's probably going to do the best out of the group because I I do think he's got that mind for it and I can I can see him yeah as you said doing some wacky stuff on the indies and things but
- 26:36[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe continue the tag team with Dexter as well.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, Rowan, Rowan, we've seen him disappear and come back, he had that weird one-off match in AEW, which was actually was like a pre-show, was it revolution 2020?
- 26:53[SPEAKER_03]: to or something like that, where he actually showed up and was, I think he's actually excellent in those kind of multi-man things where he doesn't have to carry a whole singles match, but can come in as a big guy who doesn't dive to the ice outside and throw some big leg Larry at surround and stuff.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's pretty impressive.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I feel like these guys were probably like let down, but the way they were presented, the stories they were having, I can't say I'm
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's never kind of been for me, but like the quick thing I'd say on it is like place that's not for me, TNA, like I feel like if it was ever to place and you know what they're like, they're going to be cut and cut on as they probably won't sign all of them, but if they brought in like three of them and put them in the end up realm or whatever it's called the round of those three and you could see it.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you could see it fit and you know for all the reasons we've gone through, but yeah, that's maybe the only home part say for the
- 27:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's also MLP, which obviously has a TV deal now in Canada, whether some of these people will be showing up there.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_03]: I can't see any of these being an AEW fit, really.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe Nicky Cross, just because I think AEW could always do with some more women, but I don't really see any of these fitting in there personally.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't shut me like she turned up with a collision or something like that as a one.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be true of this entire list though, isn't it?
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me what you can't help myself and I'll ask about the rest of us think.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: And then, as you mentioned, Alistair Black and Zelina Vega, I know you're going to have a lot of fun with this one, but yeah, I mean, had some big SmackDown main events in the past year.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_03]: Had the feud with Demion Priest that the ambulance match, which was quite a bit of fun and actually beating Randy Orton as well.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: being released, it seemed Harry and Cross left and he just picked up his gimmick and continued with it and now he's gone as well.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I
- 29:04[SPEAKER_03]: I laughed, unfortunately, like, sorry.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_03]: I know these guys lost.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you all for this, David.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: Come on.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_03]: I found this funny, like it's, there's something that's just incredibly unlikable.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_03]: I find about these too.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and yeah, and I'm sure you've seen some of the,
- 29:22[SPEAKER_03]: AEW tweets going around as well from roster members like we don't want them and stuff like that.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, what's going on here and like have at it.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of them, I really clearly don't want them to.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: And again, it's only times another matter who knows what the future might hold with it, but like I like say, I predate, you know, do we to be runs AEW runs?
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: I thought you might be a bit protected over them like you're saving in a bit of a
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the black and gold connection there as well.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm glad you've given me the open gold to go and two footer to them because I've waited this constant about 2010.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe when he was on the in these doing a fake hard man thing, you know, in Europe and where can shoot shows?
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he'll take a blue spot, maybe that's what it will be going for.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: But just never been for me.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that the big part of it is the real person who comes out and like at the edge 40s.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because like I
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: I say, it's not for me.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know, one of my favorite wrestlers of all time is Loki, you know, a lot of people in my parts of the world, they've got a lot of time for breath arts.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: What are those two guys having common?
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: They take themselves very fucking seriously, often to a falter, especially with like a Loki example, and also a bunch of time to have been that bold, too, as he takes himself.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: very, very seriously takes his gimmick seriously takes what colour sucks he's wearing in the morning seriously takes his twitch streams seriously and according to reports in AWS seem to take his you know win wash records seriously as well but it is it's not overall like on likable side of it and just the you know I'm fine with restless kind of standard for themselves but it's kind of got to make sense and you also have got to then say well yeah the company needs the standard for themselves and not sure the absolutely did with the house to black you don't think there's
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely from Malchai back here, but when he was a cold out-of-a-n-a-dw, there's definitely an argument against Tony Khan there too, for maybe the force in him or a mirror onto TV to do jobs, if that story was correct, but you have got to lack the laughter, the shardin for either of it, what was it, one day less than a year, he was a big dubu-dubu-dubu-dubu-dururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururururur
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: not even a year later and really I mean we said it up with Andrade and it turned out that Andrade did up an open door to go back to where he'll be or it does feel like you're safe from those streets and stuff that that door is closed with him and yeah living in a bigger obviously yeah shit for their part as well as I can't see here being up there streets are either so like they've really tried to play like galaxy brain chest and the failed here like I don't know where either of them go from here especially Tommy Belland
- 31:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like I feel bridges were clearly burned in AEW and which is when you know the how
- 31:55[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, how these contracts work in WWE, it baffles me that you burn those bridges.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like you look back at Andrade's last run, um, he did the continental classic, you know, he, he kind of given his notice.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_03]: It felt like everyone knew he was going after the continental classic, but was there to put on some good matches and take some pins and, and I, I think that kind of one that
- 32:22[SPEAKER_03]: Tony Card and, you know, I'm sure at the time he's like I'm going to go to like the opportunities there to work with my wife again, it'll be easier for us, blah blah blah, Tony Card understood.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_03]: And that door was left open and he's come back and Matt, like this is the the most entertaining on dry days ever beat and told he was someone massive fan of his in NXT and actually the best presentation ironically was with Zalina Vega.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_03]: I thought Zalina Vega and on dry day,
- 32:50[SPEAKER_03]: worked way more than Selena and her own husband, worked on TV together.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's just
- 32:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's a weird thing, like Alistair Black, I just don't, there was a moment in NXT.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_03]: There was that one episode where, you know, there was the whole story who ran over Alistair Black and he comes back to full sale and he's kicking down doors and throwing black masses everywhere.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_03]: And it it felt like Austin in 1998, 1999 and watching him at that point, you go, oh, they've got
- 33:26[SPEAKER_03]: really special on their hands here.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_03]: And it ended up just being like a really cool moment and I think he's talented.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_03]: I enjoy his wrestling and I had some matches I've enjoyed in the past, but
- 33:40[SPEAKER_03]: There is just this unlikable factor about him and I find the same with Zalina as well.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like you see the stuff on her twitch stream and she's going off at Sean Rassap for reporting it.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like he's really sure enough by them both.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_03]: Can you believe it?
- 33:57[SPEAKER_03]: Unbelievable.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but like it's just like that's where your anger is like it.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know it.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_03]: I find these two interesting because I think black especially is
- 34:09[SPEAKER_03]: very talented and I thought I just think bridges have been burned and unless it's WWE coming back calling at some point, I don't see him landing in any major promotion and like I mean where would you see these two ending up?
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: The list is short, isn't it?
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, they're swallowing a pride and go to TNA situation again, isn't it?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: Or, uh, can't see anywhere in Japan being a fit?
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that doesn't really make any sense to me, either.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it's funny, like I say, it's just funny to look at it.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: And that, you know, I think at the end of it, we get to have the, at least myself as a, you know, certified Tom Yen Heta, like, get to have the last laugh on it.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: If any didn't feel guaranteed, this was the one that's most out the blue, it did, no matter what I think of as a performer or as a man or any of that stuff.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: The company would be under at least a point, like you say on TV, he was reasonably, you know, utilized on SmackDown and was a guy that was in the periphery.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think the biggest thing about it is that he clearly went back to WWE, despite the fact that he was sacked in a pandemic, until when he calmed as the one that brought them in and gave them a job and they needed it and all of that stuff.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: But like, went back in just a human trip later, that was back and he didn't.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I can't see him having that kind of, at least at this point, maybe a little bit early on, but clearly for whatever reason did that, that much, I can't see it, you know, with a little vocal like that.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: fits, you know, again, his particulars about what he wants and how he wants to present himself and stuff like that and anywhere that would take him, it's hard to not see him but in heads with someone like a Tony Carnie who's not Triple H or somebody else like that that he doesn't respect because clearly that was the issue there too.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see, he's just going to, you know, follow his bride and go.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'll screw a job and be, I'll do whatever, I'll lie in my back, like whatever, like it's yeah, I wouldn't ruin that outside, again, with all of these, which is it makes me and you can sit here and have a logical conversations or why, why it shouldn't happen, why it won't happen.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: It actually doesn't fully mean it won't happen though, it doesn't, it's the only car on like he's, you know, he's done it a few times with bringing these talent back.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_03]: Just a brody king steam roll him on his return or something.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, um, yeah, very strange.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_03]: I almost, if you're picking up a WWE contract, you almost don't want it to be high.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_03]: Do you?
- 36:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like I imagine he had was they're both on like pretty good figures.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_03]: And that's where these cuts come from isn't it?
- 36:33[SPEAKER_03]: Why are we paying this guy so much?
- 36:36[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, when we're not really seeing him as a main event or his ceiling any higher than this.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_03]: You're almost better being on a lower contract and just coming and doing your thing every week.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like on a row on the spreadsheet solo that went in the corner scroll and you can't find your name.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, that's where until now all of Apollo cruisers been hired.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_00]: And the probably is like yeah, it's a nice motion middle to it to be.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it was clear that release when we had, you mentioned, brave Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Naya Jax, all like big, well, champions being in big stories, like, say what you will, whether you were a fan of their wrestling or not, they were big characters in WWE.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_03]: And you just got to think that cost, cost cutting, they're the ones you're looking at, right?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're money-balling, yeah, that's gonna happen, isn't it?
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: The matter how much, again, and that's a kind of thing one on the land, as well as I mentioned in the Carnet, I think a lot of people are gonna lean that way on it, but probably what happens here is to your pointers, like, you know, a spreadsheet is given to Triple H. These are the people making this amount of money.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: We need to say this total amount of money, pick some names, and make no mistake.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: He'll have picked these names.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: He'll have pointed these people out.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: It won't be area manual.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't know Alastablaca is for Triple H, those, and it at the end of the day, the book stops with it.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_03]: And I, Zelena said on her twitch feed, like they don't know how to write for these supernatural characters and that that probably is there is a probably an element of truth in that as well, where Triple H is looking and going the pain these guys this much like they're on the list.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what to write for them.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_03]: My team doesn't know what to write for them, so let's get rid.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_03]: But someone they have been writing quite a lot for for, but it seems like the last six months is on doing story with E.O.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_03]: and Asuka, Kyrie Zane.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_03]: a favorite of ours at Poison Rana.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_03]: She's even part of our set.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_03]: We've got a Kyrie Zayn cardboard cutout as part of the set, but Kyrie's been released, which this one's a bit of a shocker, I think, considering though, the big Eolaska story that's going on in her being a prominent part of it.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's that's a big, like she's literally in the middle of this, again, it's
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: kind of the two sides of triplets isn't it?
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like if he's the one book in this stuff and he's the one once you tell us the one TV, you know, you can understand being a carries and being surprised because it's not like, you know, on Raw this week, he's sell that story or found the way to conclusively write it off, it's going to be seen missing now.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't it going for?
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: I would say she's the one that like she's got the best chances and she's getting our truth back.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like there has been a little bit of an adult rise and as a little bit on Twitter and hashtag is going and such like that.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: I probably don't expect it to be successful but that is going to happen when it's somebody who's relatively well-utilized, relatively up-pushed and relatively old regard, it's like that's got to be an odd one like you say she on more money than all the people in it in the same position.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: They're just looking at it like, well, we don't need three women in this story.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: We'll just you know we'll boil it down to two
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like there's got to be something underneath this one or the wires.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is the one they're getting at the most blowback from the hard close on and the most pushback to bring back in six weeks like it never happened.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_03]: The thing that I never understand is the terminations as we know it are like three months, 90 days non-compete.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: Like any other TV show you watch and they've been, you know, major falling outs with actors in a show with the show runners and stuff like that.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: And like I'm thinking just one off the top of my head, there was one of the main characters in desperate housewives had a massive fallout with the show runner and they killed her off.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_03]: They still wrote her off and gave her scenes to act out and play off the end of her story with her contract being terminated.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't like
- 40:31[SPEAKER_03]: their housewife showed up one day and they're like, oh, where's such and such?
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we don't talk about her anymore.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_03]: You have three months, you have three months where you're still employing Kyrie's a where she's still being paid.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: She's still under contract.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_03]: Why can't you finish this story?
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: Because we're going to get more on Monday and there's going to be a weird moment where EO and Asuka, they don't even mention their name, but they look sad.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_03]: and we see this on NXT all the time where characters leave and, you know, it's been part of Tate and Patsley story where she goes, oh, everyone leaves me, who leaves you?
- 41:06[SPEAKER_03]: Name them specifically, oh, I can't say their names because they don't work here anymore.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't understand, like, I get it's like maybe a bit of pill to swallow for the talent where it's, oh, you're firing
- 41:25[SPEAKER_03]: You are also still being paid to do your job, and especially in this situation where, you know, Kyrie is like very close with Oscar and EO in real life.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_03]: when she wants to like do something to help put over the story and put over her friends in it.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: I just I find it I find it weird because no other show like imagine you're watching game of thrones or whatever and and John Snow just doesn't show up anymore and no one talks about him.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_03]: You'd be like sorry it wasn't wasn't he a key character in this show like why
- 42:08[SPEAKER_03]: I know we sort of we're in our wrestling podcast bubble and everyone who like listens to us are in that bubble as well and we're reading the new sites and we see reports from fight full and post and all the like, but there are some people that just watch this show and don't know any of this don't like they just tune in on a Monday, they they watch the show from 8 till 10 30, they turn it off, they don't really think about it.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_03]: And they're going to go, sorry, Wes, where's Kyrie?
- 42:36[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what happened?
- 42:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to kill her and like, what happened?
- 42:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's so bizarre to me.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's one of those things.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's a bit like wrestling, like it is in a lot of ways, as much as we love it, the stupidest medium to.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's an, and it made it a historical thing.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's like that.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you get as much now dependent, and there was a bit of it in the lead to a mania, but like that lack of respect for the audience that's kind of historically there.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, whatever, we'll hand wave that and we'll move on.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: That you don't necessarily get in most TV shows.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the thing that they think you could say in wrestling's favor is, you can't exactly recast can you like you can in TV shows where that does happen, you know?
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: season to season but maybe that's part of it too that you say wrestling is a live thing that's constantly common each week and there is a you know a current news cycle and most of the time if this happened in TV it would happen and then you know that the show would already be recorded by the time we got the news or something like that as well but at the end of it I think just all boys down to just wrestling being wrestling doesn't it and just just seen as that this stuff doesn't matter it's like you know
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: the bad old 2010 days like he didn't even know what was going on for weeks.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't know the two wrestlers he wants to book against the children of the few the 18 months before because he didn't care and the 44 the audience didn't care.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're still a whole bit over of that and an attitude of that way.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, fine, we'll deal with it and we'll move on and don't want to ask questions maybe in the way that they might in other mediums.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_03]: It just feels like, you know, when there's like a show on Netflix or wherever that you've been considering watching and you're just about to start and then someone tells you, oh, it got canceled after season two and then they never wrapped it up, you're like, well, I'm I'm not going to invest my time no matter how fantastic season one is why will I bother if I don't know the end of the story and
- 44:20[SPEAKER_03]: It feels like that.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: Why should I be invested in any stories you're telling me when next week it could just be killed cold with no mention of it?
- 44:31[SPEAKER_03]: It's very odd to me.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_03]: So what do you see?
- 44:35[SPEAKER_03]: Do you see Kyrie maybe being Artruth Drake Maverick back or could you see her
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think she's the best best out of the list.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: If like, history wasn't history and Tommy End wasn't Tommy End.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think you might have seen him working as Bay back into a WW with a higher probability that I think it is.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's like, down at about 10%, but I think we carry, like I think it's almost 18, 90%, I think they will.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's as a recurring character or with a big debut or like I said earlier, like a collision match or a, you know, one-off dynamite match against whoever.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_00]: The champion is at the time like Tony Khan, you know, likes good wrestlers and she's a good wrestler and she'll be available.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: And most good wrestlers in the world, you've got a little bit especially if you've got a little bit of exposure in there, you know, America and you are somebody who's been a TV star before.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna find something for us at some point.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's just the question is more for me, whether it ends up being a real contractor or something like that or a gas spot and a probably more gas spot than a the full contractor.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't surprise me either.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_03]: She had an interesting run, because I was such a huge fan in NXT.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_03]: I thought she was the best babyface in the company at one point.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_03]: Then she voluntarily left and did her stuff in Japan, came back, and
- 45:49[SPEAKER_03]: It seemed like she took a lot of time to find a footing.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_03]: Again, she didn't quite look as sharp as she used to.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: I think she actually started finding it again recently.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_03]: So being in there in an AEW and being with the right mix of people, I'd not having those WWE shackles.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'd I'd love to see what she could do, you know.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_03]: have her be the person that attacked Tony Storm, you know, have her, have her come in and be all pally with Mina and I don't know if they have history but they're Japanese so just make it up, you know like it's wrestling and then yeah she's the one maybe with Shida who took out Tony or something I don't know but there's I think there's room for her there and I think could be
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, definitely the most likely on this list.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, Nicky Cross is somewhere down here.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: She's somewhere up here like it.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's happening whether it's this year or next.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's probably more of the question.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_03]: Who else do we have?
- 46:55[SPEAKER_03]: Main roster, we had Alba Fire, I don't think this is a massive surprise, really, especially since Piper Niven left, I don't think the slagents really added much to Chelsea Green's presentation, I think Chelsea's fantastic, and I think she's great on her own, and Alba Fire, Kaylee Ray, great wrestler, but I was kind of surprised that they
- 47:20[SPEAKER_03]: went with her as much as they did in WWE because doesn't necessarily have that WWE look and especially when they're not really letting her wrestle, which is what she's good at.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think this was overly surprising.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was always good, always a death now as in it when they do that, because I feel like, again, I think Rover said that on Twitter, like Nikon's, looking at spreadsheet, it's going, do we really need referees?
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like, can the rest of us not count themselves?
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: Surely we can make a save in there.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's all their brains can't work over, and he's, again, given one of the lists to, uh, to oblige the tick off.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: I can't have felt the same way when Aaron Pipe over, like, you know, the body guards and the suits and stuff that's, like, kind of the impede to do this, and this two years was well, it would be like a,
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: bit of a waste of age and I think you've got to look at yourself when you look at you.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: What you're how you be in use lies until you're here.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's like there's that small window there's no way when something like that starts happening, that you window to knock on on cupboards or and go surely there's something more for me and I give you a exact that as you're lot in life.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know we don't know whether she did or she didn't but like it seems to happen like I'm getting TV time I can turn up I get the odd match it's fine I'm getting paid a wage that's when you are on the coast where yeah they need to save a few pennies what
- 48:28[SPEAKER_00]: real difference doesn't make to the TV show to her to get rid and yeah she is somebody that like you go back to the old PW days, you know, obviously when me and Martin were doing that Martin was always a very very high on her and there is a you know probably she might be another one that gets a spot today, they'll be but maybe somewhere in the middle of the two or the one when we talked about that and she's a guaranteed next day's signing but I think she knows enough people there that it could happen but
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: longer term, like you say a TNA, I mean, I believe pro and MLW maybe.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: If, again, these are dependent, dependent on what's going on that, but that within as well, like the might still at least, you know, she is still a solid, you know, in ring rest that always has been, just hasn't had the chance for it to show into B to B, so I think she could offer something to a roster maybe at that level.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, she was someone I saw maybe having them having her stick around to be, you know, that.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_03]: play a coach role.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_03]: I could see her being good at.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_03]: She's definitely someone who can lift, you know, she, I don't see her being your well champion or anything like that, but she can help people on the way to getting there by putting on good matches and stuff.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_03]: Chris Elliott in the chat,
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: She'll be a casino gauntlet entrance at all in that I could see that I could get off to that.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: What if you'll be dancing in the crowd later if I'm glow sticks in there I could see that up on absolutely.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_03]: Apollo Crews, he's been on the main roster for 10 years.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: Can you believe it?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_03]: What has they done with him?
- 49:58[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, former U-Harnation has been WWE a long time.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: I always sort of got called up from NXT way too early, called up and nothing really in mind for him.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's completely disappeared for a couple of years and then had that US title run and had the, you know, the
- 50:19[SPEAKER_03]: It was at Nigerian king Nigerian prince or whatever with general disease went back to NXT and became a prophet.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: He could see the future.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_03]: He had a feud with Bronbraker where they went fishing on a lake.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, this happened 2.0.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_03]: And then, yeah, went back to the main roster and done nothing.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_03]: He tagged with on dry day a couple of times and
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's, uh, yeah, I don't think this is a massive surprise here for Apollo.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: Just think one of them, I mean, I'm just like at some point in the show.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, remember when Dexter Loomers went back to 2.0 when he was a mermaid, it wasn't a great battle.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: I was not there going, yeah.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: I guess they easily did, so it must be true.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's 40, like Chris mentions exactly what I was going to say there and the chat about PCW, were you ever to PCW guy when you were, when you were, when you were covering like, I was, yeah, right.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think I have somewhere a picture with uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
- 51:18[SPEAKER_03]: the hurricane, who went to Guerrero, who went to Guerrero and who was the guy that the comedy guy, a big British comedy guy, always teased doing a Canadian destroyer and was barefoot through his dream of months on.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: Madman Manson, yeah, I have a weird photo with the four of them.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the bizarre original, I've got Skahol, X-Pak, Dave Rain, and Paige's ship brothers, and me in the middle, do in a two-sweet, not particularly proud of that one, but I was going to say, yeah, you know, those PCW days, like, you are an Asian, it's like the second common PCW, you know, who was, what's it just for?
- 51:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, I didn't know the Ogden's then, but I'm pretty sure it's probably the Ogden's starting all those.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_03]: No, I mean, it's not them, Ben Corrigan.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_03]: You're a heart.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's, you know, all the chance.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: It was so many of them as well as so I mean it partially was that but he was belouved and I think it also translated when he was elsewhere in the UK Like a sort of you infinite in Liverpool always remember like go on the toilet I'm like he was just in there in his gear oil and up ready for the match and like the public Huh, this is wrestling then I guess and he's dead nice boat and you know always I like that that charisma The kind of like shum through on those cards as well as having the easy chance stuff there He was always someone you just looked at and then you like look at the
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: Look at his body.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_00]: Look at his look.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a little bit of natural charisma.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can go as well.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, to a reasonable standard, he's going to be a winner and they'll be the billion.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, maybe he is in the game.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: A life like I say, he's your example.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't he?
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's stuck through for 10 years despite, you know, crazy.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_00]: Mostly, not have a much forum.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: You say, bouncing them back and forth and not really ever getting going with them or taking advantage of.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: What is skills where they're, but he's probably the one on the list of Kong, playing too much, maybe you can complain about the creative, or can you really complain about like a decade of employment, especially when they didn't seem to see as much in them as many of us to go in in.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of those.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's any, how many times you just see this, where that happens with the guy.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then they get released, then it's a big question, isn't it?
- 53:17[SPEAKER_00]: Is he going to be going out, just do some, you know, conferences, and I like a bit of money?
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: Or is he going to be somewhere there, like, no, I'm going to hit the ground running, I'm going to remind everybody, you know, when I go and in GGUSA, and evolve, or when I was doing Europe, and stuff like that, and be motivated, but he could be someone who's not, he could be someone who just takes that money, and you know, it's quite happy that he got 10 years away at the very, of doing the salary to go towards his pension.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I feel back when he was on the NDs and CMF PCW, it was quite unique at the time to see big men flying around like he did, you know, his finish or what he'd do, the standing moon salt and then the standing shooting star.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_03]: The day strip that back right away in WWE, they were like, it's just the standing moon salt is your finisher.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_03]: And
- 54:03[SPEAKER_03]: and I think that made him a little less special and I will say something I think they've got way better out with um with NXT is sometimes they keep people around and you're saying oh they're ready to move up at this point.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_03]: but they'll go, well, let's see how you are as a heal now.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_03]: And, and I think that's helped to like, sort of, Brombraker, Roxam Perez, uh, Roxam Perez such a natural baby face, and incredible in the ring, and they could have moved up way before they actually did.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_03]: But they went, well, we are in developmental.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: Let's try and develop you as a performer.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_03]: You've got the wrestling.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see what else you can do.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_03]: And the heel run really helped her.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_03]: And she improved on the actual performance side of stuff.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_03]: And I'd say with the same with Bron Braco, he was ready to move up.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like, come on, look at this guy.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: Why, just put him on the main roster already.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_03]: And they gave him that heel run.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_03]: And then they gave him like the,
- 55:02[SPEAKER_03]: Almost comedy tag team with Baron Corbin, which I think was the best in Corbin ever did in the company.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_03]: And I always like, I always gave Ricochet a hard time, because it's like, we know you can wrestle, use developmental to develop the shit you can't do.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_03]: And that's,
- 55:20[SPEAKER_03]: talk on the mic and look at him now like you you turn him heel and I eat W and he's fantastic and you you wonder if he just had that little run where they went you're ready like you're wrestling we don't need to tell you how to apply a chin lock like you know how to wrestle let's see what else you got here and and I think Apollo is someone who
- 55:42[SPEAKER_03]: would have definitely benefited with that because he didn't have a character.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_03]: His character was I'm a big guy who does a standing moon salt and smiles.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_03]: We never really got to know who he was.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_03]: He never really had a serious run on top in NXT and then was thrown onto the main roster with no direction and then years later they start giving him these characters and it's too late at that point.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's like to be to be his brand cage, really, isn't he?
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, in front of those same merits and all that same utilisation, whatever you believe like the sealer is for, and it's funny.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_00]: You mentioned Ricochet there, like he is somebody very close with Ricochet, like you know, to stuff from like social media and that little crew with the Zaur and a couple of others, I think, stuck around with him as well.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not advocating for Moose to get an A to B job, but I could imagine Ricochet.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: The insom with you go to Tony Khan's opposite go, put him with me, make it instead of it's a threesome, there's now four of us, you know, as a stable and he could do something as like the fourth guy in there, and there's a, okay, four of us in the, yeah, exactly I'll be the, I'll offend you.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_00]: If he signed Champa made the sign and he won, so he's a, he's definitely a part.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's someone out with a badge in it or so, and it's this Tony can't be in a fan of, like you've probably there, watching Dragon get USA and evolve back in
- 57:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you could probably be a fan or at least be convinced by the stuff he's seen by a Rekka Shae, so I wouldn't doubt him getting an AW look.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: I feel he might benefit from having that little indie run first though, or doing more your MLPs or stuff like that where, you know, it's a shame that it made your weekends come and gone because that's the primal opportunity, isn't it, to kind of have those matches?
- 57:24[SPEAKER_03]: And remind people, oh, we've been missing out on this guy for the last 10 years and get a bit of buzz of those like big indie matches before and build up that stock a little
- 57:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's, oh, and then other main roster, we had motor city machine guns.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_03]: Ah, they've got to be AEW-bound, right?
- 57:49[SPEAKER_00]: We were before, weren't they?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_00]: That was the plan.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_00]: And they chose the DVD.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: I get it though.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like we said, we could distance at the time.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like you understand the length of their careers.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: And the way to be most of their careers not being interested, the ones that give it a go.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_00]: Just add it to the list of companies that's not taking advantage of Alex Shelley's promo guy.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: I still go back to the old ROH days or the 3-8 days with paparazzi productions like you need to come maybe give them a better direction but that guy is a little bit ready to promote guy there in fairness having shown it for a very long time now but like at least given the chance you know give those guys the chance to do it it's just that's another one it just felt like triple H grabbed them because there was a bit more at the time and he would be wanted them and then once he had the toys he didn't want to play with them and like they felt easy to booked didn't he really like you would have to do.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_00]: much more than we did anyway, just give him some bloody matches on TV and couple of runs with the belts and you know, yeah, maybe with the come to this point in your career, it is natural conclusion.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now it was nice seeing that novelty of seeing them into the Weber.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: Did he get to that point today?
- 58:46[SPEAKER_03]: No, I think one of the worst things WWE's done in recent years is splitting the tag titles.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_03]: Again, I think when you had one set of tag titles, the division was, I mean, the division made of it WrestleMania, didn't it?
- 59:00[SPEAKER_03]: You had who saw his versus Kevin and Sammy yet?
- 59:03[SPEAKER_03]: WrestleMania 39 and since they split it, it's just diluted here and you've got two divisions with three teams at best and the SmackDown Tag Division especially has been pretty much non-existent and that's where they've been and
- 59:20[SPEAKER_03]: You had that first run of three hours SmackDown's where they were like, right, let's focus on the tag division now and make that a thing.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_03]: It feels this time round, it's focusing on the U.S. title and having that sort of fill in that extra time of, you know, a 20 minute match every week and the tag seat division still getting nothing.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_03]: And I, I feel if you just unified those belts again and like you've got with the women's the belts being defended across both brands and
- 59:47[SPEAKER_03]: feel a bit hotter and you can have your motor sitting machine gun matches on a raw or smack-down and stuff.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_03]: Again, it's just, it's creative failing these guys because why would you not put these guys on TV every week to have, you know, you've got a division with, for a while, you had DIY, you had fraxium, you had motor sitting machine gun street profits.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you've got
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_03]: but I feel aW have started to with weird aW when they started, they were very much like.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_03]: tag team wrestling company really we're going to bring back tag team wrestling and it was such a prominent part the show you had all these great teams that kind of disappeared and like when you know the the young bucks were two bigger characters almost for the belt so they're on their own island doing things and I feel it started to come back a bit and they're putting a bit more focus on it you've got you know big teams going for the belts again and
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_03]: I'd love to see machine guns there.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'd love to see them have another match with the box and mix it up with FTR and all that.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think is the likelihood there?
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it does happen.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's one word if you don't only can't you can't be a bit more forgiving.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, all right, let's understand the point you had in your career, you went to do the big, you know, but now we'll have you.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe it won't be quite the run.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he had planned that originally, but you are right like that.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: We need to be tag team division.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_00]: Despite some very good isolated matches at times, there's mostly been the drugs, at least from a point of view, it kind of was that forgotten toy for a long time.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: And it's one of those funny things where it's like,
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a big fan, as you know, of co-hostion, the young books have kind of taken me this year, I've enjoyed them this year, at least in this co-to-paint, I'd be fair, FTR, I've as well, but like that's three big star teams, whatever you think of them with either fan of all three or not, that like feel like they're in the focus of the tag division right now.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_00]: You could have a fourth, couldn't you?
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they wouldn't quite be on that level.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_00]: But, well, where are you going to be?
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_00]: You could say they are, but like, you know, from the start point of view, they're not, but they could easily slot in as the four teams, they're awake with whoever's not working with the other team over the next few months, I'm paying for you.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm believable with that, and you've got two big tag team matches on your baby view.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: all things are possible.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that fit into that role well in a company where like you say, it's not starting for talent.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't need many wrestlers.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_00]: Women's division might be one exception, as you said earlier, the tag division is the other one really isn't it, because yeah, that's that what's the depth chart and you need to be tag division.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_00]: There isn't much there.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_03]: I get the feeling as well with Tony Khan.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes he's like,
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_03]: you deserve to be paid to wrestle.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even feel he has that thing.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_03]: Like I think the champ of signing is one of them.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's, you know, you're not necessarily gonna come in and be world champion, but you've...
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_03]: He's got that respect for the old R08 crew and that kind of stuff.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's like you black gold.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: He was a big fan of the new and braiden.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like how any of them looks like.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_00]: He loves that and like you say he loves.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't look 20 tens R08 show much of them thing, but like core 2005 ish R08.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, Alc Shelly was caught in the promo.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_00]: It was like back then, Tony definitely had those tapes.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_03]: And then last main roster release, I believe was Santos Escobar.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, if you're him, can you be surprised?
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, at all.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_00]: Good talent to rest that little bit of charisma.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's the one in the list.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to think of all yet.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then he's going to randomly pop somewhere and you're going to, oh, yeah.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I forgot.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: You got released by doing the beer, though.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's still wearing palettes.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_00]: Natalie.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to pop it or it'll be Brody's new tag team partner or something like that.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he will taint up an collision and we all will do a double thing.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm done.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's a new entity contract, oh wait, no, he's not.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_00]: And he might be the one that surprises everybody and gets a good run or in the borrow it's champion or something like that, like that.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_00]: Again, it's funny I opened this before and I don't think any of these people should go to a WWE and probably most of them won't.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's probably a case for all, and that's the case that's only going to lean on.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'll add into that list as well, but maybe at a lower level.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was a big fan of him in NXT.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think that was the best run he had in WWE, the way they brought him in was great.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_03]: You had the whole story with the, the like, who is it?
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_03]: Raulman Dozer and Wacking Wild getting, oh, that's okay.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_03]: And at the time, he was in the cruise weight tournament as El Hio de,
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_03]: Well, El Hio de Fantasma, and then after winning the tournament, removing his mask, revealing the kidnappings was, it was a screen situation, so they were faking it, so it was too kidnappers at a time.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's incredible.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_03]: That's incredible.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_03]: No, it actually, it worked really well.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_03]: It was a great place.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_03]: It was the turn on Drake Maverick in the finals, so sympathetic baby face getting beaten down.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_03]: really solid and had a great feud with Swerve in NXT over the cruise weight title and stuff.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, main roster, I don't think he, his charisma seemed to go down.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_03]: I thought on the main roster and when you see like on dry day now and just that's everything I think Santos show potential to have.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll see, I could see him knocking around the Don Carlos family because why not,
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think he's still injured at the moment.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't he?
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_03]: You'll just come back from injury or something, but he was a weird one because they released and then bought him back.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_03]: I guess for AAA, but then had the injury.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_03]: And then, yeah, Zoe Stark as well, who's just come back from injury.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think another big surprise.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_03]: I feel she was possibly on the chopping block when they got rid of Shayna and
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what's her name?
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_03]: Sonia Deville, um, because she was in the team with them, but maybe they didn't release her at that time because she had just had the injury and optics, but yeah, they've let her go now.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_03]: Um, that's it for main roster.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_03]: We did have some NXT.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_03]: I think the the biggest one from mine is did somebody say, Andre Chase.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gutted.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_03]: Will we be safe?
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_03]: Not a surprise, Ravado.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_00]: In P.W.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_00]: I know you guys would have a big fans of the Earth that gave it a start-up.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I feel they would have a lot of wear removed from that.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_03]: I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_03]: Like I, I, I, I, I've had great things to get over the beer and then it did and then they just went.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so we carved a little corner out from itself.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like I think there was a, there was an opportunity at time to maybe like we said the same with the family, the Italians like, just give it a go.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like move it to the main roster.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_03]: If it fails cut bait, but like what are we doing here?
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_03]: And I, I think there was a time where you had,
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_03]: on Ray Chase, Theahail, Duke Hudson, that just give it a go.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_03]: Will a goofy fake university work on the main roster?
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_03]: Because weirdly got over in NXT and WWE fans, like if you give them something to chant, like they like it.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_03]: So
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_03]: it might have worked, it might have not.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was, you should have probably given it a chance, but yeah, like the rest of the chase you had gone, uh, Uriaconers has now left chase you, I'm not overly surprised, but he did give us some fun moments there in NXT.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_03]: Um, some other ones, uh, Tyra may steal, I found an interesting one, not that she's done a whole lot in NXT so far, but she was, uh, I think LFG Season 1 winner, she's, uh, an Olympian, uh, got that, like,
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, amateur wrestling background, which, you know, they love in WWE, they did just what he said she wanted to come into the beer wasn't it she was only pitched them rather than the other way around, does that right?
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_03]: I think so, yeah.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_03]: And then had the little run with partnering, uh,
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm forgetting his name now, against Chelsea Green and Ethan Page and it was the whole Canada USA thing and the USA decided to cheer Team Canada for that one.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think you could see the, at least the NXT audience very tired of the, let's try and push this person because they're American and USA, Rara and not ready yet and both.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_03]: and recognizing what great performance Chelsea Green and Ethan Page are and just turning against her.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_03]: We really haven't seen her since then, but a bit surprising, especially everything they're trying to do with LFG.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_03]: And, uh, yeah, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her,
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_03]: So I found that one, a little surprising.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_03]: Again, maybe because the ill and pick background, she's on a possibly a little higher contract than some of the other NXT people, maybe.
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_03]: And that's why, and then the other one, who's been on TV quite a bit, was Luca Crucifino, who was part of the family, the Italian mob at some point, went back to evolve, has been trying this new gimmick recently.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_03]: He's basically a Gen Z braver, and was the Vignettes and the promos were kind of quite funny, but yeah, he's been in a vulve purgatory, so I'm not.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_03]: He went from being a lawyer.
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_03]: He was a wrestling lawyer and would come out and they used to have him come out, basically, in the commercial breaks that international audiences on Netflix see.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_03]: And right.
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_03]: He was basically a soul goodman kind of character trying to give out his card and was this like, yeah, like crooked lawyer who then got hired by the Italian mob to be there lawyer like very breaking bad like soul goodman being hired by the cartel kind of thing and to he then got put into witness protection.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_03]: And then came back as a Gen Z Raver, so good luck to Luka Krusefino.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_00]: What a story.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_03]: You know what's next?
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_03]: Man, you're missing out so much on NXT Beno here.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_03]: But again, that could be the me, though.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure, but yeah, it sounds true.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_00]: It sounds real.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_03]: And then the rest, some names, we don't see a whole lot of Chris Island, Dante Chen, we've seen do the occasional job match in NXT and was pretty over with the NXT audience.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_03]: I know he was starting to turn heads a bit with his work and evolve and things like that.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_03]: Malik Blade, I mean, he hasn't been on TV for a long time, had a pretty fun tag team with the Idris and Ofe and then they just seemed to completely drop that Idris and Ofe left last year.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_03]: So I think the writing was on the wall for Malik Blade.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_03]: Serena Linton, from LFG, never really saw Trill London as we mentioned at the beginning, Tyrik Igway and Tyson DuPont, who were the tag team who were kicking around with Wes Lee, who Wesley still a bit of a baffling release.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, that's the least.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_03]: I can't say overly surprising for most of them, but yeah, a few, like as we mentioned, a Kyrie Zayne, a little strange.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing, guys, as we joke, you know, obviously you guys are the guys for our next day, I always say that you guys deserve all the respect in the world for being like they're the most longest run in and best dedicated to NXT adjacent to podcast.
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's not the only headset in point to Jordan.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's a journalist from May but like
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's going to happen though isn't it in a world of NXT where like they have got a lot of people compete for TV time on NXT and like with any sport that is only so much time like again It kind of ties into this overall like really stuff.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's like I'm not totally inhuman.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_00]: I do see you know some sympathy you know for these people who's in the job is not a nice thing But you know, it's not the pandemic you know in the pandemic.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was easier to morally shake our fists and go you're releasing people in a pandemic when you make an under all profits
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_00]: like any sports team, there are only so many slots and if you want to see more people in those spots and want to see new people come in, you do really have to move some pieces around, so there you go, there's a raise wage, pay for on main roster, but I think that's ever more true, isn't not in like in NXT with it with you guys, call for an each week.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, absolutely.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_03]: And I think from a, and join point of view, you need that shake up like Smackdown felt so much fresh of this week.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_03]: And I think just the excitement of some of these callups that are going to happen, it's going to freshen the product up.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_03]: You need that.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_03]: And if you're bringing people up.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_03]: You need to let people go.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_03]: You can't, you know, you'll see it the other way where you have the people being like, oh, I mean, I'm in jail because I'm just in catering every day and not being used.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_03]: So it's, it's, yeah, cup bait.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's shitty.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think these contracts are worth anything.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you can, you can promise me fucking 20 million a year for five years, but if you cut me after 90 days, it means nothing.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's, yeah.
- 1:13:13[UNKNOWN]: So,
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's where I waste it gets my backup, but yeah, I think from me as a fan, I kind of
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_03]: I do kind of a little bit get excited about these releases because I think nice, the product needs freshening up and we're gonna see new faces.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_03]: And while that brings us to our next thing, which is WWE call-ups, had a bunch announced this week starting with Ethan Page showing up on Monday Night Raw, taking on Javan Evans, reuniting a bit of a feud there.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think both Ethan Page in particular, he's been ready.
- 1:13:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, pretty much since he was signed by WWE to be a main roster guy, but he's been invaluable in NXT.
- 1:14:02[SPEAKER_03]: He's really been the glue in that men's division, which women's division in NXT fantastic men's struggling and Ethan Page has been the one bright spark and has really
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_03]: moments in NXT.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's been great.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_03]: He's someone that everything they've thrown to him, he's managed to knock it out the park.
- 1:14:27[SPEAKER_03]: He's had that great North American title run.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_03]: The stuff in AAA, I'm really excited to see what Ethan Page does on the main roster.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's somebody, he just gets it doesn't he like, you know, I'm obviously more as you can probably tell from me comment so far, more of a type 2 intro like an A, do you want every new wrestler to be the next Kenny Omega or the next Will Uspray, but in a world where that was the case and probably going back fair, that obviously then we'll Uspray, but certainly Kenny Omega, Ethan Page was never one of those guys on the end days, he was, you're ready to do the VTV guy.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying he's on that level, he isn't in any way, but I always felt that way about CM Punk.
- 1:15:04[SPEAKER_00]: back in the day like he was the guy on the Indies, the cookup promos, the American TV style matches for a lot of the time, and American, at least American TV style, you could absolutely say, and even page was always that guy again, even go back to, to have all gone back to his Dobby Allen few, yeah, maybe that was a little bit more grounded in matches, but it was more so grounded in character, and that's what he's always been, he's such a better fit for the due to the system than a W, and I think he had a quite low sealer in a W, I don't think
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_00]: on main roster to the media, it's necessarily like he's going to be well champion or even open midcar, but I think a comfortable life was a mid to open midcar guy and then you know who's where to go from there.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's somebody who's this might come back to home, maybe I think it'll be somewhere you'll be around for a long while to come.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a valuable player somewhere in that midcar that wouldn't get crazy with it, but I think like a and there's tight life there isn't another question with you to bet.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was going to say, Miss L.A. Knight, like that level where, you know, reliable hand, if you will, I think quite a ceiling that a Miss, I would say, like, and certainly his wrestling, I enjoy more.
- 1:16:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think something that really impressed me with him and NXT is whenever he
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_03]: naughty hue, plunder match, which, you know, in WWE, it's cool.
- 1:16:24[SPEAKER_03]: Here comes the Kendo sticks.
- 1:16:26[SPEAKER_03]: Here comes the trash cans.
- 1:16:27[SPEAKER_03]: And he'd always find a way to be quite creative.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's always been like quite a violent guy.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_03]: Like you think of the Derby matches the way he'd throw him around.
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_03]: He kept that in NXT and was able to put on these, like,
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_03]: like hardcore matches that would be a little bit more creative than the regular WWE stuff.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_03]: But his promo game is fantastic and I'd, yeah, I kind of like to see him.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_03]: in there like have a little mini, even if it's just a TV feud, a little thing with the CM Punk or something, just to show everyone what he's capable of and how he can hang with these guys.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a little disappointed, like I did enjoy the stuff going on with Ricky Saints and the Vanity Project who
- 1:17:15[SPEAKER_03]: At some point, I'd love to see them put them all together on the main roster because I don't know if you've seen the vanity project yet, but they are probably the best thing about the men's division in NXT and they are so young and all three of them, you know, they do have a resting background outside of WWE beforehand.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_03]: And just naturally, very, very funny and worked off this guy so well in NXT.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_03]: So once they're ready, I would love to see them put that unit back together because I think that has a very high ceiling on the main roster.
- 1:17:47[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, fair.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_03]: Other call-ups we had, we had fatal influence making their debut on SmackDown this week, and I think this couldn't have really gone any better as far as call-ups go.
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_03]: I don't normally like the, you know, non-finish.
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_03]: but I think doing it on SmackDown in a match, I think people kind of excited to see Paige wrestling again and she's in there with Charlotte and Alexa who are pretty popular with that WWE audience.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_03]: And Faye Twin Flynn showing up and taking that match away from the fans, got them.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_03]: great heel he immediately and yeah and then continuing that with Rhea later in the night I I think JC Jane has been someone who really stepped up in the last year with her with her NXT title run and Fallen Henley I've always been high on I think she was underutilized in NXT
- 1:18:53[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, Laney reads like, possibly not ready.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like, she's pretty new, but she's, she's a bit of a prodigy as well.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like, she, for someone who hasn't been wrestling that long, I'd say her and Kendall Gray are the two that have really picked it up quite quickly.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think this debut on SmackDown could have gone any better with the three of them.
- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I like that's the thing, you know, as you say there, like I think you want that connective tissue between an exterior main roster and you want it to be a world where you know, when they get to main roster, the proud reaction follows and things that get over follow, and he couldn't, it was the dominant mystery.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_00]: It was out there like the heat that was there like it and it was, you know, people buying into the character work and that's credit to the credit to the promo as well, which was a, which was stronger as well.
- 1:19:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's, you get in the send them off to a flyer there as far as getting them on TV.
- 1:19:45[SPEAKER_00]: And like you say, that has happened at the past where, you know, acts of guns the main roster and you get crickets and like not the case here.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_00]: And actually, it's rare to combine the way they'll be raised.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_00]: So like if they can take that on momentum, but it makes sense.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I think bring all three of them up together.
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'd strapped them up pretty quickly.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, page and breabella, it was a nice moment at WrestleMania.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_03]: I think they've done a great job with the Women's Tag Division.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, I think it's stronger than the men's division.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_03]: And I think since,
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_03]: It was smart being, you know, we don't have anything for Charlotte in the singles division right now.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_03]: So let's put her in there and they did the same Rio, like Rio and Eo and stuff.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_03]: So the women's tag felt like a lot stronger than it ever has.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_03]: Bri and Paige, great moment.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think we really want to see them wrestle as the tag team too much.
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's balanced, too, is that you've got a lot of that right now.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of our remember when, especially with AJ knock around as well, you need fresh injection at all, like this.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_00]: Perfect time.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I think Fallen and Laney cutting that run short, like it only baby faces page and three a bit more, because yeah.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_03]: you have the fans wanting that tag run to have lasted longer and therefore there's empathetic it puts these two hours or his heels and like even I like even JC beating EO you know I'm beating Rhea like you can do it in a shady way and Rhea can chase that title and get it back at a summer slam or something but I think
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_03]: it will do a great job of establishing these three as a as a force on SmackDown that the rest of the division are now chasing.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_03]: I thought that reaction on the SmackDown was great and JC has like she was always she always felt like the third wheel in what's it toxic or
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_03]: toxic attraction, you know, you had Mandy Rose leading it.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_03]: Kassilla Kelly had a bit of a name before WWE, it's certainly a bigger name than JC Jane did.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_03]: And JC just really stepped out and I think was a bit of an unsung hero in NXT for the last year, like she was
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_03]: putting on pretty solid matches in the, in the women's division and Fallen is definitely capable of that as well.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_03]: So, uh, I think this, yeah, solid call up on, on night one and I'm excited to see what they do with them.
- 1:22:13[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, and then we had the announcement of Blake Monroe, the former, uh, what was her name?
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_03]: Mariah May, uh, will be coming to SmackDown as well.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_00]: I was wondering whether there might be another announcement with their name on it.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_00]: I was just starting to, it felt like it would be a game store logic.
- 1:22:32[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like she was definitely going to be about to be in that next list of the big gold upboard.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't have shocked your ad with it.
- 1:22:39[SPEAKER_00]: If the headlines will be all worth up to is, yeah, I'll ask the bakers ahead and back to, could bite after head back to where you'd be in a guess what, she might as well.
- 1:22:47[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like a real teaser, and I don't mean to be run, it has felt like you
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_00]: She was a spiked sign in and fell to a little bit and loved at least from the triple each side and like I don't know like again You guys get your eye at the ball.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna stay a lot more than I do But like I could have seen it down there for another year in a little two years, you know Just a fuck with her as much as anything because it honestly felt like that might be the case But and we also are in need to be what she's got she out by fused of the year last year with Tony Storm and one of my matches of the year last year as well
- 1:23:15[SPEAKER_00]: if she can put that together again on a main roster, she can be a real factor, but like I say, it just says everything really good to go and add away with it for me.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I wouldn't have been surprised if I like say we woke up and she hadn't been called up, she been sucked into that.
- 1:23:29[SPEAKER_00]: Madeline.
- 1:23:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a really weird one.
- 1:23:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like that, the Hollywood ending was one of my matches the year, like Art High School, fantastic.
- 1:23:41[SPEAKER_03]: But, and the character work, the story and everything was great, but outside of that Tony Storm feud, what has she done?
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_03]: And certainly she's underwhelmed in NXT.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's from a territory run aid, it wasn't it?
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_00]: It was like in and out and not anybody see the negative.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like if she's stayed another year, maybe all the gun on that was Tony Storms smoking mirrors.
- 1:24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like he actually, he was wise and not given us the chance to see that unfortunately.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like you say, see it in NXT and to that.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, they they've tried to tap into the, you know, the woman from hell, they've, they've kind of alluded to the Tony Storm feud a few times and
- 1:24:18[SPEAKER_03]: But again, you've got those shackles of WWE.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_03]: She can't go out there and scatter the ring with glass and bleed and all that.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_03]: So it's, you know, she's sprinkling tubic seconer on the ground and, you know, these plastic diamonds that she's using and stuff.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_03]: And it's just, it's plastic, exactly.
- 1:24:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like it is that.
- 1:24:38[SPEAKER_03]: And there doesn't seem a lot of depth to her character.
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I wonder about this one, I don't necessarily think the move from AEW was the best idea.
- 1:24:52[SPEAKER_03]: There's there's a lot of women and there's a lot of, you know, I know she's a baby face at the moment, but turn Tiffany Straton heel and that is Blake Monroe, you know, it's the same kind of character.
- 1:25:04[SPEAKER_03]: So I I'm very curious about this one and being put on SmackDown where you've just put caught up fatal influence who are similar similar kind of heels, you know, that bitchy I'm better than you heel like it's
- 1:25:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of the big problem with it, isn't it?
- 1:25:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because like you say that, I'm willing to admit when I was wrong.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_00]: It does happen from time to time and podcast.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_00]: I would've advised her to go to WWE if felt inherent in it that that would fit her better.
- 1:25:33[SPEAKER_00]: She's a WWE star performer and look how great she was in AEW.
- 1:25:37[SPEAKER_00]: But in AEW, she was different, wasn't she?
- 1:25:39[SPEAKER_00]: In AEW, she was the one of one during that act.
- 1:25:42[SPEAKER_00]: she's not been having to read the beer and she won't be that a main russ that to the point that I wonder whether it's all a set up and if you just want to embarrass her on TV and they wanted to you know, maybe fail just to almost prove a point or something like that like that is where we're a warrior bother as well but yeah it's not the way I saw it go and but it's played out the way I think a lot of people in any of the people you felt like maybe thought it in my go and then Ricky Saints is going to be debuting on SmackDown next week as well
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_03]: really saying I think kind of had his start of his run was similar to Blake Monroe, a little underwhelming.
- 1:26:18[SPEAKER_03]: Then the heel turn came and I think that's exactly the role he should be.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's when he started to thrive, take that awful rock concert in personation aside.
- 1:26:29[SPEAKER_03]: He's been a lot more entertaining since being a heel.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, coming to Smackdown,
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's definitely happening in some form, even if it's a little Easter egg or a nod or something like that.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe just that like a backstage segment or something, but like I want him to succeed.
- 1:26:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like I like to Ricky Starks in A.W.
- 1:26:54[SPEAKER_00]: and, you know, not everybody on my podcast yet, that opinion.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I've always kind of will them to get somewhere and yeah, those isolated moments, you know, with Daniel's Zoom with.
- 1:27:03[SPEAKER_00]: But punk, it was another one who probably looked after them on that, a meme roster as well.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_00]: And like you say there, you know, yes, everyone's going to point at the rock concert and go, ah, see, told you it was always a, always a, a budget rock ball.
- 1:27:15[SPEAKER_00]: I still think there's something there that you do see it and is when he gets the mic, you know, in his performance, as there he does have.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's not, again, even though the one is neat, like we always say this on Gwapel, not everyone's a main event.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_00]: Not everybody's going to main event, WrestleMania every year.
- 1:27:27[SPEAKER_00]: You get people who would just go, yeah, go character actors and films, you get, you know, people who can fit to say it and roll, I think it could be an, again, a nice, make card act, whether it's maybe even as a bit, if you've got your Eastern page.
- 1:27:38[SPEAKER_00]: feeling it on the heels, you know, baby face may be more long-term, might be for Ricky Stark's there as well, but like Ricky Saints there, but like I think his promos will carry him to a set and level.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think his in-ring is good enough that I think it'll carry him to a set and level.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's one that I'm kind of bullish on being fine and getting a few years out of it, but I almost don't want to be wrong by that one either, especially on the on the grapple side, because, you know, there are some that I've ever always had those saying critiques about and
- 1:28:09[SPEAKER_03]: I feel there are so many wrestlers where once the Miz finally leaves the company, they might have a spot.
- 1:28:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, it's like, it's like when the defense, and it was like, we can't replace him with one person.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be tripled, it's the increase of a Nick Canter and that Miz is going to go, it's going to turn off the need 10 wrestlers to fill all the different roles of the Miz.
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_00]: And we're all going to go, oh, fuck it, I'll eat it that as well.
- 1:28:31[SPEAKER_03]: you know, like Ricky Saints doing a chat show like Miss TV and see that, can't you?
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I like Ricky, I think he is a good promo and I think his wrestling can be good, but I think it's some fresh blood on the main roster, but I think maybe not a great idea
- 1:29:01[SPEAKER_03]: is it kind of a Ricky Saints, but better as in just the flashy clothes, the good promo, the presentation, all that.
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_03]: He might feel a little below that, but we'll see if you have him, I always like debuting against someone big, so like going,
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_03]: Toadado with Cody in a promo for his first week or something.
- 1:29:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, but yeah, I could wrap it down.
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then he's worth it.
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:29:32[SPEAKER_03]: Plats in the chat is saying lower midcard job, but within a year.
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like I could see that as well.
- 1:29:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's yeah.
- 1:29:39[SPEAKER_03]: And do we do we have a Alistair Black situation, a six months to a year from now, where maybe that bridge is burnt
- 1:29:50[SPEAKER_03]: One last cool-up was Joe Hendry, who's debuting on Raw, X-Weep.
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get any value about as you head to him afraid.
- 1:30:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny because I enjoyed repetitive jokes for Dan Housing, but for some reason I don't enjoy the way there with Joe Henry, maybe if it's as ring as well, I've always felt he's got two left feet as far as that goes.
- 1:30:12[SPEAKER_00]: But despite my take on it,
- 1:30:15[SPEAKER_00]: he will be a success wony like it's a surprise.
- 1:30:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's taken this long from obviously the Manu Europeans last year for it to come round like the crowds are going to go mouth for it.
- 1:30:25[SPEAKER_00]: The spot's going to go over every week.
- 1:30:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to sell all the t-shirts.
- 1:30:28[SPEAKER_00]: So like the Dan House and haters, maybe I'm going to have to eat some crow in this one.
- 1:30:33[SPEAKER_03]: For me, the the gimmick wore off in WWE before he even signed with the company.
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_03]: He's doing all those appearing at the
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he did all the appearances as a TNA wrestler in NXT, obviously had the WrestleMania match.
- 1:30:46[SPEAKER_03]: And, but it's the, the concerts he's done in NXT have not been good.
- 1:30:52[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think his, maybe WWE shackles or whatever, but I think, literally stuff he was writing on the Indies and things were way funnier than stuff he's come up with here.
- 1:31:03[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'm question.
- 1:31:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:31:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think the crowd who like him for a bit,
- 1:31:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's like Ricky's, Ricky sings like Ricky sings his heart over head with me.
- 1:31:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost the other way around with him though, because like with Joe Henry, it just feels like all the veterans just love him, don't they?
- 1:31:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, because they haven't seen that stuff maybe, you'll get like a JBL and around the means we're going, you know, it's a future that would be the B. Joe Henry, like they just got, he's got so many backers, it feels like it in important places, or we marked Henry's.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for being seen as last match.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_00]: Still the one, yeah.
- 1:31:34[SPEAKER_03]: Did you do this a long time here that creative he suggested?
- 1:31:38[SPEAKER_03]: Joe Henry comes out after Cena loses to Gunther and goes, no, I'm not having my career without having a match against John Cena and lies on the mat, allowing Cena to pin him.
- 1:31:51[SPEAKER_00]: I got the lies on the mat.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, God.
- 1:31:55[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_00]: She didn't listen to the talk and it's folks.
- 1:31:57[SPEAKER_00]: Listen to us instead.
- 1:31:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:32:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's it for WWE call-ups.
- 1:32:03[SPEAKER_03]: I think definitely it's, it's fate-win-fluence.
- 1:32:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'm most excited about an Ethan Page.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_03]: I think they could both do really well.
- 1:32:12[SPEAKER_03]: Juries out on the others.
- 1:32:14[SPEAKER_03]: Did you catch much from Raw and SmackDown this week?
- 1:32:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what's all the raw on there?
- 1:32:20[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen a Spakdown as well from Friday.
- 1:32:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, raw was better than Spakdown, it was probably what I'd there.
- 1:32:27[SPEAKER_00]: Raw was better than Spakdown.
- 1:32:28[SPEAKER_00]: So interesting stuff.
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I wasn't expecting us to go to this Roman Reigns, Jacob Fattu, feud so quickly.
- 1:32:38[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, not being confirmed yet, but that is going to be the backlash match.
- 1:32:43[SPEAKER_03]: What are your thoughts going into this, the story, the reuniting of the bloodline, we're doing bloodline drama again, will Jacob Fattuak, knowledge, Roman, what are your thoughts with this?
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's the negative of all of it, but the positive is that it's Jacob Fato in this big role.
- 1:32:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like that is a massive positive coming out of us in my own season.
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was Andrew to an extent like the big loser coming out of there.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_00]: What the fuck are they doing with the db title situation going into Mania?
- 1:33:09[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, there was talk wasn't that at one point of a three way or four way or something with him involved.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously that didn't materialize.
- 1:33:16[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really think the Drew match was up to much of that at Mania, put the positive coming out of it.
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_00]: He was put over strong.
- 1:33:22[SPEAKER_00]: And now they're getting gone with them and like yeah, this is a this feels ghetto book in like I think if it was New Japan Get out with put them over any of that like a mini well title run, but it wouldn't be the real real well title run And we'd circle back around some of the main event.
- 1:33:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think just putting them in there with Roman Reigns on a page with you
- 1:33:37[SPEAKER_00]: isn't enough to signify, no, we're serious about Jacob Fatihwin.
- 1:33:40[SPEAKER_00]: You're a carrier too, like the material.
- 1:33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not looked at, brought Ross back down, like, earlier the lads getting involved, like, so he's just feel like spare part at this point.
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_00]: Never mind, the MFT's on SmackDown, and again, telling that repetitive, you know, I know some little bit bloodline story over and over again, but I think he will rise above that material.
- 1:33:59[SPEAKER_00]: And if anything, I just want to see him in Roman.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see them go back and forth.
- 1:34:02[SPEAKER_00]: Mind some history with them, too.
- 1:34:05[SPEAKER_00]: time like they have this week you know more time but more of it on promos as it's catchphrase as they're massively getting over and out as well aren't they and like he is just somebody's a flowback he feels like you know like his uncle's and like you know somebody here the other Simone wrestlers back he's got that natural charisma but he's got some of them modern about and too it's the way he talks the way he carries himself like there's just something cool about Jacob Fatter and that's been the case since he was in
- 1:34:28[SPEAKER_00]: ML though were you and you know doing all this stuff like that like he's felt calm miss It's felt like the almost missed for a little while and now they've gone no we're going with it And I think this is gonna be the year for about what I see him I want to see him stick the London though.
- 1:34:41[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see him in an important match like this time next year when it comes to WrestleMania He's someone should be in those real conversations and not a spare part on the side
- 1:34:49[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely, like I'm excited about him being in this mix and kind of excited what a match with Roman looks like, you know, like,
- 1:35:00[SPEAKER_03]: That WrestleMania match Roman showing he, he can put on good matches when he wants to and I think, you know, going into it with exactly exactly wanting to put on a good match with, with Jacob there and Jacob, I mean, definitely more talented than Joe, so when it comes to in-ring.
- 1:35:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I like, I like the idea.
- 1:35:21[SPEAKER_03]: I like pushing someone new into that position.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_03]: going back to bloodline law, like I know people lack it up and I've been a fan of it in the past, but it does feel creatively lazy.
- 1:35:36[SPEAKER_03]: It feels a bit like, you know, in AEW and they're like, oh, shit, we're in trouble.
- 1:35:39[SPEAKER_03]: Put the belt on John Moxley.
- 1:35:41[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it feels a bit like that.
- 1:35:43[SPEAKER_03]: Like, oh, enough some people.
- 1:35:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:35:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, oh, shit.
- 1:35:47[SPEAKER_03]: Let's let's just go back to the bloodline.
- 1:35:50[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen suggested, you know, the use so that actually joined Jacob to take on Roman or I don't necessarily see that happening because that put Jacob as a heal and I think they want to ride this baby face wave at the moment so but do you see the bloodline maybe turning heal again with far too acknowledging Roman in this loss?
- 1:36:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's plausible, but I hope, huh?
- 1:36:15[SPEAKER_00]: Cause like you say there, the bloodline as it found there, I'm not talking to anybody specifically, but like, I must think if you are a fun of the bloodline story, it should probably let it be.
- 1:36:23[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need it.
- 1:36:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is not called for the tears and it's called for the thing.
- 1:36:25[SPEAKER_00]: We don't need God for other free.
- 1:36:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like we found out that we don't need to do this again.
- 1:36:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think it will be diminishing returns and I think it will diminish the overall, like memory of it, that's kind of my prediction on it, so I'd prefer it not, and I'd prefer it because the thing about Jacob is, as well, and you saw it on Raw, this we can sort it and smack down to, like he's so comfortable in his own skin right now, and there's been a point in his delivery run, we tried to be able to three different things, he hasn't been sure, especially when he was a heal, like how he's supposed to wrestle compared to how he talked, compared to how he guided himself, it all feels like one pack of right now, and I think that would just be a,
- 1:36:56[SPEAKER_00]: how and a half to quote rich fan that would kill it for me.
- 1:36:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need it.
- 1:37:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need to go like that direction.
- 1:37:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think let NB Jacob Fattu let him fit work.
- 1:37:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'll even fear there.
- 1:37:05[SPEAKER_00]: What Jacob Fattu isn't do we to be in?
- 1:37:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he don't need fucking big car gym in there and big J with them.
- 1:37:12[SPEAKER_03]: Almost, I feel the best thing is how I mean, I can't see Jacob winning this match.
- 1:37:18[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be great if he does like it.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_03]: Be awesome.
- 1:37:21[SPEAKER_03]: But having Roman like, you know, now Roman's a baby face like
- 1:37:27[SPEAKER_03]: Roman Jacob earns his respect even in loss and Roman allows him to be his own man.
- 1:37:32[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's like, you don't have to join the, you don't have to write knowledge, you don't have to be in the butt like a, just a splitting, like I don't know.
- 1:37:40[SPEAKER_03]: It's interesting though, right?
- 1:37:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a shame.
- 1:37:43[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a shame this match is backlash.
- 1:37:45[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited to have new people in the mix, but it's very soon to, isn't it?
- 1:37:50[SPEAKER_03]: The event after WrestleMania is always difficult, isn't it?
- 1:37:53[SPEAKER_03]: And this is typically like the cane or big show role, isn't it?
- 1:37:58[SPEAKER_03]: New champion.
- 1:37:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like, let's just squash someone who we can heat up for a few weeks.
- 1:38:04[SPEAKER_03]: And far too, you're most wish it was
- 1:38:08[SPEAKER_03]: an event where you could see him potentially be ticked.
- 1:38:12[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:38:12[SPEAKER_03]: Like there's some Islam or something.
- 1:38:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_00]: But maybe that's ever been said that it's a longer-term plan, you know, rather than just three weeks and we're done, you know, with the fate, like I say, with the people who be in so soon, you think this has trapped the one rather than that than one of them.
- 1:38:25[SPEAKER_03]: And then I guess some of the other stuff was the Cody and punk interaction on Raw, Cody kind of saying a whole load of nothing this week really.
- 1:38:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like, no Randy in sight, just, you know, coming out, calling punk a loser and he feels like a loser as well.
- 1:38:46[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know, eh, where do you, when do you see this match happening?
- 1:38:51[SPEAKER_03]: Is this just foreshadowing for next year's mania?
- 1:38:54[SPEAKER_03]: Do we see punk and, sorry, punk and Cody happening before that?
- 1:38:58[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe some Islam or, or, what did you make of that segment?
- 1:39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I thought it was Cody, but it's a T.K.
- 1:39:04[SPEAKER_00]: A real building to based on the, uh, on the SmackDown for a moment.
- 1:39:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like I could some Islam feels like a good best.
- 1:39:11[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's just maybe in a mark like I'm just not one.
- 1:39:14[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you know, this is a match I want to donate, WM never go.
- 1:39:17[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, the doing it, you know, and do me to be very clearly at some point.
- 1:39:20[SPEAKER_00]: But the mark and we do want it to be resonating next day.
- 1:39:23[SPEAKER_00]: as a Saudi match sounds like the worst place to do it, especially with the used two strengths and the emotion that you'd hope that we'd brought to it if one of them tends or even if neither of them do like it you'd imagine this will be a meaty story that but pretty much but too very wrestling do we do be a and the both big time stars you're wanted to be given the occasion but if not WrestleMania next year and just from private hopes I guess it's got to be so much like that as neck is the probably not partner for any longer in the future tonight to think that'll be a real least of a much like this.
- 1:39:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's, I love that they've teased this.
- 1:39:56[SPEAKER_03]: Like basically, since Cody's first Rumble attempt, they've had the segment before the Rumble two years in a row where they're both going for that Rumble win and they teased this manium match, and then you had to go home for manium and smack down this year and then fall out from mania.
- 1:40:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's, I like, I do like when WWE does this when you have these little teases,
- 1:40:20[SPEAKER_03]: it's when the destination is and some are slamming two nights and we'll get into Brock Lesnar in a second maybe they feel yes this could have been a a mania direction and it's it's still something we could do apart to a mania but we need a big main event and yeah this is probably the biggest main event that they haven't done so far.
- 1:40:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:40:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's the biggest student such grounders in every area as far as, like, the three big stars in, they'll be the base.
- 1:40:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I didn't think of it that much, actually.
- 1:40:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, with some of some things, especially if, you know, say, Brock's not around for it.
- 1:40:57[SPEAKER_00]: That, what else can you do, really?
- 1:40:58[SPEAKER_00]: Jacob Roman, re-match or something?
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_00]: Cody, Roman, re-match?
- 1:41:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it might be a second one.
- 1:41:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's a re-match is from that, like, I can't think of another, like, huge match you can do.
- 1:41:08[SPEAKER_03]: This is the last match WWE has, obviously, it's right now that they haven't done it.
- 1:41:13[SPEAKER_00]: They got both reasons to do it out and they're like from a point of view of, just, you can, it's the Saudi WrestleMania coming up next year, but also like for them as well, like maybe they wouldn't have a bit of public label, that will be sneakily the US-based WrestleMania for, you know, the next period, so it could be that motivation to Chris Elliott and the chat saying, I think they'll have more trouble selling out summer slam than a Saudi show where it doesn't matter as much.
- 1:41:36[SPEAKER_03]: I think it needs a match like punk Cody Moore.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and yeah, uh, Brock Lesnar, let's let's speculate.
- 1:41:46[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so, like, especially if he's not around for Samus Lann, like, you definitely need a big match, but where do you see this retirement thing happening?
- 1:41:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like, is he done?
- 1:42:01[SPEAKER_03]: Is it?
- 1:42:01[SPEAKER_03]: Was it something he called on the night where he just went, fuck it?
- 1:42:05[SPEAKER_03]: I think I'm done now.
- 1:42:06[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, is this another work?
- 1:42:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what are we doing here?
- 1:42:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like I, my immediate reaction on the night was weird, but that's usually my reaction to most things, but like it felt that way didn't it?
- 1:42:19[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously report and it's kind of comulled that nobody really believes that he's really retired.
- 1:42:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the ultimate theory actually is the most engaging to be right now that yeah, did he just call an audible?
- 1:42:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's Brock doing what Brock does, you know, over over years he's done it where he was bullying the audience like that one.
- 1:42:34[SPEAKER_00]: Big last fuck contract.
- 1:42:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm surprised he's not on the phone today in a white hotel turn up in the front row You see, but I guess that'll be playing TKO against there TKO at this point with nipple We've seen those tactics.
- 1:42:44[SPEAKER_00]: So it's totally out of the realm of possibilities because like even I believe that was a way But if it is a work
- 1:42:51[SPEAKER_00]: So the idea is that like, he's already retired, but Gump is gonna cash in his favor and pull him in, okay, I'm with you from that point of logic, but like, so that he can retire in again.
- 1:43:01[SPEAKER_00]: So he already said these retired, like, doesn't that take the juice out of, or out of here, happen on out of Gump there, getting that scalp, like, guess in all the way to get there, it doesn't even put a pass them.
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_00]: The feels are gonna all the way to get there, so there's a little see the doubt, so even if it's probably the most likely the three options to me.
- 1:43:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's a few ways in there because it's like people keep and bring up throwing up the axe basically to tell Haven like this real I'm done
- 1:43:31[SPEAKER_03]: But then we saw, you know, the work Seth Rollins injury last year and that is a detail where you could see Triple H being like, you know, throw up the X and people will really believe it.
- 1:43:44[SPEAKER_03]: Or is it just Brock like maybe SummerSlam was the idea and Brock versus Gunther and then he has this match with Ober.
- 1:43:51[SPEAKER_03]: He sees how Ober is and it's like, if I'm going to give it to a guy,
- 1:44:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need to do this anymore.
- 1:44:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's WrestleMania, like, I'm done.
- 1:44:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:44:05[SPEAKER_03]: Good to call it, or yet.
- 1:44:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's like to look to control man's.
- 1:44:08[SPEAKER_00]: You need to eat some pies, mate.
- 1:44:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to do it.
- 1:44:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to put family over and start, you know?
- 1:44:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm happy.
- 1:44:12[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe.
- 1:44:13[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I think there is something.
- 1:44:15[SPEAKER_03]: It is, it is weird doing what you would assume.
- 1:44:19[SPEAKER_03]: Gunther wins against Brock and it's a,
- 1:44:23[SPEAKER_03]: two people retiring him.
- 1:44:24[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's a great way to build for Ober versus Gunther, right?
- 1:44:31[SPEAKER_03]: Like you have the two career killers against each other.
- 1:44:37[SPEAKER_03]: But you could also tell that without Brock coming back, you can have Gunther retiring three people on Ober retiring Brock and
- 1:44:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's a match that I can see and getting to through this story as Oberverse is Gunther and Ober being the one to beat Gunther and take that.
- 1:44:57[SPEAKER_03]: So are you leaning on work?
- 1:44:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's funny like when we go through the options there, we believe every single one except for what we saw on screen, like, because that should wrestle in there, isn't it?
- 1:45:06[SPEAKER_00]: But like, I would lean work without just leave that live on a possibility for, you know, something to do with Brock, lean on contracts, stuff, but definitely not what we present, so that could tell you that, sir.
- 1:45:19[SPEAKER_03]: Anything else from WWE TV this week, you'd like to bring that up.
- 1:45:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's all the main things I took away.
- 1:45:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, pretty much not much pasta.
- 1:45:29[SPEAKER_00]: Past that really, it did feel a little bit like the roar after the manious kind of done in here.
- 1:45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's been done a while as a as a concept, but yeah, it was we got we'd got a couple of a of these some moments there, a couple of good story beats and then a lot of questions really of as far as like the main players go coming out of here, come around a mania, so pretty much that really.
- 1:45:47[SPEAKER_03]: And one last bit of WWE news before we move to AEW is evil, as officially signed with WWE.
- 1:45:59[SPEAKER_03]: We did have a bit of a tease on NXT this week.
- 1:46:04[SPEAKER_03]: Robert Stone handing a box to the NXT
- 1:46:14[SPEAKER_03]: Is this going to be evil's new name?
- 1:46:17[SPEAKER_03]: Is he coming in as war to NXT?
- 1:46:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then when he gets the roar of your roar as war all over again, the t-shirts make themselves, it's got to be us and it only.
- 1:46:27[SPEAKER_00]: God bless them, like great evil going to do with the beers, like music to most YouTube fun funsies, except like when I was out there in it in Karkin, there was like a little slid of a house or torture, a fun group there, but outside of that, most sane people are just glad to see the back of them.
- 1:46:42[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I guess if this is a way to break it in, then yet they could do it and they'll see, you know, how we fit in the system and next table.
- 1:46:52[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, why have they signed them if not to just do what they must have liked what they saw in the Japan they must be in that minority Like oh, this is good heat.
- 1:47:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is good stuff together.
- 1:47:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's doing to kill the territory over the last five years So they're not bringing them in just the packaging are they and given a completely different gimmick.
- 1:47:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'll be evil in all but name But we've all seen out of that is maybe it won't stand out as much in WWE maybe in a world where if he gets the main roster the MFTs exist He can exist on it as well, but like
- 1:47:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I've never wanted to see it and yeah, even though they did the Pico's a thing, so I'm not sure they can get it right either.
- 1:47:27[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they just watched his restful kingdom entrance and it's like, yes, that's the guy.
- 1:47:31[SPEAKER_03]: And the job he's getting out of Wolf over as well.
- 1:47:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I would say like, you know, yeah, I really enjoyed that Aaron Wolf match and I think you've got a great view of all a whole lot of credit to that and yeah, I think I think this
- 1:47:50[SPEAKER_03]: IWGP championship during that time, but I think his stock with fans drastically dropped.
- 1:47:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's not that the guy can't wrestle, like he's not my favorite wrestler, but the guy can wrestle, but it's being the bullshit that's surrounded him for the last, well, since the pandemic, right?
- 1:48:07[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's so like NXT desperately needs men, like top men in there, you've lost Ricky and Ethan,
- 1:48:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think him coming right in and feuding with Tony DeAngelo and wouldn't be surprised if he even beats DeAngelo and coming in.
- 1:48:27[SPEAKER_03]: But it was being said that he wanted to do NXT first to kind of learn, you know, WWE style and that sort of thing and maybe a quick run in NXT and then join whatever is going on with Hamotonger and Shinsuke Nakamura and the MFTs and all that perhaps.
- 1:48:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a bit of a weird signing.
- 1:48:48[SPEAKER_03]: I can't really see where they go with him, but I'm intrigued to see what the presentation and what his name and all that's going to be.
- 1:48:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's it for WWE.
- 1:49:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm very interested talking to you about the main event of AWS Dynamite this week because Derby Allen, in his first title defense,
- 1:49:16[SPEAKER_03]: has your stance changed for Champa in AEW?
- 1:49:19[SPEAKER_03]: How are you feeling after, you know, these couple of months we had the Mark Frisco match, the Carl Fletcher match, and now this Derby Allen match.
- 1:49:27[SPEAKER_03]: But what did you make of the main event a dynamite this week, and where do you stand with tomorrow's Champa?
- 1:49:32[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think I'm on the way to like a redemption story?
- 1:49:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like I was with Christy and me, I'm gonna do that.
- 1:49:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in Tweet, I'm questioning.
- 1:49:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:49:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the, it's one of the, as well, I would never say, I would never say to Master Champion as a bad wrestler, I would just say that you had a lot of good wrestlers, just those doesn't it?
- 1:49:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's, look, it's stuck with them.
- 1:49:51[SPEAKER_00]: You felt surplus to a requirement coming in, you know, especially obviously going straight to the belt and all of that that came in, but like I'm also an honest man, like that's how I felt going in.
- 1:50:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's still not somebody, again, in a way where there are a lot of great wrestlers.
- 1:50:05[SPEAKER_00]: that particularly compels me more than others, but has he delivered good performances?
- 1:50:11[SPEAKER_00]: Al admit, yes, he absolutely has, and this week was a great example of it.
- 1:50:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's funny I'd seen the tweets about the match before, it's seen her, obviously post-mania, it's been a little bit of a break until I kind of binge the old TV, over the last couple of days or so.
- 1:50:24[SPEAKER_00]: So, although I already read, I could eat it at the tweet, didn't he say something like, a farmer, wrestling, so, you know, spirits, animal, or soul partner, whatever he said about the Alianlan.
- 1:50:33[SPEAKER_00]: And then I watched the match and it was like, you have me, but that's because Derby's wasn't to kill himself, to get in at the moment, but he was good at doing the killing.
- 1:50:40[SPEAKER_00]: But like we said earlier with Ethan Page, you know, people are good at doing the killing, but like, I can't fault it for his performance is absolutely enough.
- 1:50:47[SPEAKER_00]: Gotta be honest, and he had as well, like he was.
- 1:50:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, in the, you know, even the other side of the coin wasn't he was the one that was using the tarby Allen pretty much as body is a weapon in there and like deliver in the story that this title like one should be for Derby should not like it should be him getting, you know, flattened by opponents it should be him just about like sneaking out it should be him just about making it through these battles and coming
- 1:51:12[SPEAKER_00]: Come on away with a different scar every week like that's a Derby Allen title one, isn't it?
- 1:51:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like like he said then is promo on the show like he should it should be until the wheels come off And it's gonna be literally isn't it with Derby there as well and yeah, like you for every bit of it To master jumpers with them to and it making sure that happened, you know Just an negotiate himself as well like it was Mile in minute like one of one of the one of the great TV main events.
- 1:51:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's a crash to the floor
- 1:51:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:51:41[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have real?
- 1:51:43[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:51:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like...
- 1:51:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not obvious, and it's all that you can't complain.
- 1:51:48[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen that people, like, you know, very English.
- 1:51:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's like that, but it's not obvious.
- 1:51:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, what can you do?
- 1:51:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's not obvious.
- 1:51:54[SPEAKER_03]: It's not obvious that Champa has had and doing that.
- 1:51:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, true.
- 1:51:57[SPEAKER_02]: He's a good fellow.
- 1:51:58[SPEAKER_02]: And you watch it.
- 1:51:59[SPEAKER_03]: And they do it as safely as possible.
- 1:52:02[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you watch when when Champa released him, but you're still dropping just a hard map there.
- 1:52:08[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's, I, I, I, I love this match.
- 1:52:11[SPEAKER_03]: I, I, I,
- 1:52:13[SPEAKER_03]: I understand your point of view on Champa, like I don't know necessarily beyond this where you go with him, but I think that's something Tony Khan likes, like TV wrestlers, like someone who can go out there and just put on an excellent match on TV.
- 1:52:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I think what Champa's one of Champa's gifts is I think he is a great promo and brings great intensity.
- 1:52:38[SPEAKER_03]: And just in that,
- 1:52:40[SPEAKER_03]: that episode alone.
- 1:52:42[SPEAKER_03]: You have that self-contained story the week before the whole Darby Allen story.
- 1:52:46[SPEAKER_03]: You kind of had this with just Champus promo about, you know, not passing the airport test and not championship material blah blah blah blah.
- 1:52:55[SPEAKER_03]: he built the match up in one episode fantastically and there's you know it's Derby's first title defense no one's buying Derby is losing this match and yet I'm watching the match and biting on nearfalls which yeah
- 1:53:13[SPEAKER_03]: is a testament to them.
- 1:53:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like if I'm suddenly believing, oh, Champa could be a WWE World Champion here in Darby Allen's very first defense the week after they're doing a great job and and I give Champa a lot of credit for that.
- 1:53:27[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it's a I think this is a great story to do with Darby.
- 1:53:31[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think anyone's expecting him to have this title for long.
- 1:53:36[SPEAKER_03]: But he could potentially have the most title defenses of any AEW champion in history, just in a short space of time.
- 1:53:46[SPEAKER_03]: And then rather than we see other champions in the past who
- 1:53:53[SPEAKER_03]: when the title manager and have lost it by Summerslam, and it's been a bit of a nothing run.
- 1:53:59[SPEAKER_03]: You just stack this title run, weekly defenses, like he's got Brody King next week, right?
- 1:54:05[SPEAKER_03]: Where?
- 1:54:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's then logical.
- 1:54:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of what they do with Orange Casti and the International Championship run.
- 1:54:11[SPEAKER_03]: You go until,
- 1:54:12[SPEAKER_03]: your wheels fall off and Derby then has this sense of pride.
- 1:54:17[SPEAKER_03]: Well, well, I was a fighting champion and eventually it caught up with me.
- 1:54:22[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it's a great way for when it eventually I assume goes back to Max, kind of all makes sense.
- 1:54:28[SPEAKER_03]: And I think you've got enough juice out of the Derby Allen run where it doesn't, you won't have people going like, oh, he only held the title for five weeks or whatever it is.
- 1:54:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's funny as well, because like this is clearly I was against it.
- 1:54:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was against strawberry winning the title last year, you know, especially when it was the talk of it being the all-image and obviously you went off, did Mount Everest and all of our, but I think this was probably the idea then that we just let rest of us just couldn't see the Tony Khan ad and wants to go through with it, because really what are we going to get?
- 1:54:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you say it's going to be probably to the next page of the UN though.
- 1:55:01[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be Darby Allen's entire career but truncated into these four or five weeks where he's just going to over the next, you know, while many TV's that are a lot of 60 these probably have a title defense and everyone and kill himself more and more and everyone and like you said there you can be in there with a jumper but he kills himself so hard and he sells dead so hard partly because he's not selling that year believe that he's going to lose it at any point and then at the end of it he's gone out like you say the wheel's going to come off and probably
- 1:55:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know, about Chumper setting up, you know, his role in this, then Kevin Knight's the other part of this, isn't he?
- 1:55:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the two of them both making challenges on that same dynamic a couple of weeks ago was definitely on purpose because now we've got them as like the two secondary characters where Derby and MJF are the main characters.
- 1:55:44[SPEAKER_00]: In this story, I imagine them two are going to have a much lower down on the card, the double or nothing, and MJF's probably going to be Derby for the title when he's at his most weak combing off of these TVs, but it's going to be a fucking great ride going along with it, isn't it?
- 1:55:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, fair play.
- 1:55:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not the way I thought it was going to pan out last year, and it's just been for some really exciting TV, and I can't wait to see where they go with it.
- 1:56:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:56:08[SPEAKER_03]: What did you make of this Kevin Knight, MJF thing?
- 1:56:11[SPEAKER_03]: And we've got the TNT title match next week, which is, could you see MJF winning this off of Kevin Knight?
- 1:56:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's MJF really going to be in the world title mix again, but it's kind of interesting that they've gone to this match as well.
- 1:56:27[SPEAKER_00]: not true.
- 1:56:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, probably not, they probably found some kind of creative way for, you know, MJF's on the slump right now, and he finds a way to lose to Kevin.
- 1:56:35[SPEAKER_00]: I probably, to I'll be related or something like that, but I think it is literally to do that.
- 1:56:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's the setup, you know, give Kevin Knight and Tomaso jumper if he is the Kevin Knight opponent for the paper view, that little bit of shine off this made of infused and they're just,
- 1:56:49[SPEAKER_00]: in the mix even if they're not the main players, and I think that's what it's set up for.
- 1:56:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's set up for a hell of a TV match.
- 1:56:55[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the promo this week on Dynamite was pretty good.
- 1:56:58[SPEAKER_00]: It was just a weird kind of juxtaposition.
- 1:57:01[SPEAKER_00]: I've under two MJF promo segments on the same show.
- 1:57:04[SPEAKER_00]: You're kind of feeling like you would have done in ring ones at least.
- 1:57:07[SPEAKER_00]: You would have done one.
- 1:57:08[SPEAKER_00]: all the other or made them bleed into each other.
- 1:57:11[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they just didn't want to do, you know, the other Derby Champa much, you know, following on the opening segment.
- 1:57:16[SPEAKER_00]: It was a little bit like that was two weeks of TV that they've had to truncate into one dynamite.
- 1:57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:57:20[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe it was written down somewhere as half of it was going to happen on collision instead.
- 1:57:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't know the performance was about they just felt a little bit weird a little bit.
- 1:57:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you were planning to be also feeling what to say that, use them GF2 much on this show.
- 1:57:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like you wouldn't have got that
- 1:57:37[SPEAKER_03]: I like having night a lot and I think he's really stepped up and clearly like they see a lot in him and I'm going to push him hard.
- 1:57:46[SPEAKER_03]: I think what was the shame with this promo is he's doing his thing and then MJF kind of makes fun of, you know, the...
- 1:57:54[SPEAKER_03]: the jet is going to do this and the jet's going to do that.
- 1:57:57[SPEAKER_03]: And then Kevin night continues to say, well, the jet is going to do this.
- 1:58:02[SPEAKER_03]: And it, it's one of those things that MJF does a lot where you expose something and I think that's the best diesel impression in it.
- 1:58:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we already mentioned that before.
- 1:58:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:58:15[SPEAKER_03]: And then I think Kevin night maybe that's where he's in experience showed through because he should have picked that up and being like, all right, lay off the jet stuff because you're the Zach is it kind of an undermined everything else he said.
- 1:58:29[SPEAKER_03]: But I like that he's in this role and I like that he's in this this mix for sure.
- 1:58:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, good time to do it.
- 1:58:37[SPEAKER_03]: Well he's hot
- 1:58:38[SPEAKER_03]: And then we've got the call out from Copen Christian that they're challenging FTR double or nothing with their tag team careers on the line.
- 1:58:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's cross made, I don't think it's like it's going.
- 1:58:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think they shoot abs, I was shocked, like the room of a pair of guns, like I shouldn't be tag champions by now.
- 1:59:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:59:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because you can just picture it with a belt gun, you know, I just felt like they looked at the, went totally wrong.
- 1:59:05[SPEAKER_00]: Other DMs, you know, whatever it's like, I don't know, we've got to know the paper, we've got to fill so we'll have the, another FCR match, maybe two young books matches, and then we're all able to do that through you, right?
- 1:59:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, the three way a lot of match is happening at all.
- 1:59:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there will be champions going in, so it as well.
- 1:59:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, I can say,
- 1:59:19[SPEAKER_00]: despite myself not a huge fan of Copeland Christie and what I am a huge fan of still clear now at FTR and the work there doing here as well like like you said earlier feels big times was enough for the paper to be very much here and it'll feel big time when the books are involved and yeah longer continue.
- 1:59:34[SPEAKER_03]: I think this is something you can see
- 1:59:38[SPEAKER_03]: You can see Tony Khan trying to pace out, paperview to paperview, because I was with you.
- 1:59:43[SPEAKER_03]: I was sure in Vancouver that coconut Christian we're gonna win this.
- 1:59:48[SPEAKER_03]: And then you go, well, we do have, I imagine we'll have a singles, well, just a one and one, well, two and two, bucks versus Edgen Christian, coming up, we've got a little in, so you're going, okay, and then we'll have some,
- 2:00:02[SPEAKER_03]: Brandon, what knockout, but like knockout bros or whatever from New Japan, I'm pretty sure.
- 2:00:09[SPEAKER_03]: So it's you're probably looking at it going like that.
- 2:00:12[SPEAKER_03]: And I felt the same with the whole I've carted to catch the thing, because
- 2:00:17[SPEAKER_03]: I thought we might be building to a three way with Ocarda, Fletcher, and Keshda, for all in.
- 2:00:22[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously, Fletcher's out now, but I could see a similar sort of thing him trying to pace it.
- 2:00:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we won't do this match yet because we're going to do, we'll have them as a tag team.
- 2:00:31[SPEAKER_03]: And then we'll do this singles match.
- 2:00:33[SPEAKER_03]: And then we'll do a Fletcher singles match.
- 2:00:35[SPEAKER_03]: And then we'll do the three way.
- 2:00:36[SPEAKER_03]: And I definitely see that with this.
- 2:00:38[SPEAKER_03]: So I think the career step and doing it so close to Hangman with the stipulation for here.
- 2:00:46[SPEAKER_03]: It might make people think, oh, maybe this is it for COVID-19 Christian, but I completely see them winning the titles, double or nothing.
- 2:00:56[SPEAKER_03]: And then you mentioned A, W, Redemption, coming, well, reportedly July this year, another, another paper view between forbidden door and all in,
- 2:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: Just to a fuck of the podcast this one isn't it made I've got my whole spreadsheet set out It's 20, 20 sick, got it's been called even for another day for this to do another A.W.
- 2:01:19[SPEAKER_00]: Pipe of your review.
- 2:01:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess it makes sense there's an itlo with the A.
- 2:01:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's the obviously, you know, in America, the max subscribers and obviously now do you guys get my A.W now?
- 2:01:30[SPEAKER_00]: Or is it not in a, not in Canada?
- 2:01:32[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know, but we've been using a, yeah, VPN because I've not fully saw that.
- 2:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: The spike the fact it says available internationally, you'd think it'd be available in Vietnam.
- 2:01:43[SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't been, but suddenly it works now, so I made the opportunity to use me VPN anymore, but I don't have the fast channel, very strange, but I think like part of the subscription to that, and obviously the subscription on the Mac side is you get a paid review every month, isn't it?
- 2:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: So they probably just looked at it, brushed, and gone, there's an a paid review.
- 2:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: We'll leave a big gap because obviously it's the build so all in, but we need to fill something in there as well,
- 2:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's an actual five-hour paper for us to all review the air that we can do.
- 2:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm sure it'll be good, but yeah, I'm adding to the order, the stock calendar with, do we have enough of three shows in June of the greatest?
- 2:02:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm like...
- 2:02:20[SPEAKER_03]: I'm wondering whether this might be another Canadian show, because I know they've done the candidate tour around July, like before, all in, before, and I, I thought it was perfect for that, wasn't it?
- 2:02:35[SPEAKER_00]: That was the case.
- 2:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and like we've had the the Calgary show has been in in July.
- 2:02:42[SPEAKER_03]: I believe in the past.
- 2:02:44[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm wondering like a Montreal or something like that hasn't been done.
- 2:02:49[SPEAKER_03]: Could be the AEW yet.
- 2:02:50[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe I think there's there's talks of wrestle dream, possibly being
- 2:02:56[SPEAKER_03]: But I think with the success of the Vancouver show, which, you know, sold really well and I think one of the best paid for you crowds they've had for a while, I feel, you know, Tony Cahn's eased off on Chicago a little bit recently and I think wanting to have fresher crowds that are maybe a little like van BC certainly were like, yeah.
- 2:03:21[SPEAKER_03]: starved of wrestling.
- 2:03:23[SPEAKER_03]: And I've even like here in like London, Ontario and stuff.
- 2:03:26[SPEAKER_03]: I the telling thing is is when, you know, Brad and I are at
- 2:03:30[SPEAKER_03]: an event and we're having pre-drinks and we're in a bar and we know it's just our wage tapings are going on and no one's in the bar and the bar tenders like, you go to the wrestling, it's already started and we're like, oh, it starts at 8 o'clock and you realize everyone that's going there, I'm like, well, I've got to see our wage first and all that whereas if we've been with you now, I'll be there five minutes before
- 2:03:54[SPEAKER_03]: the real show starts.
- 2:03:55[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know.
- 2:03:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just my me theorizing that possibly just looking at the calendar the last few years and where they tend to go, that maybe it might be a Canadian date.
- 2:04:08[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, you're saying that my AAW deal kind of makes sense that they'll start doing a few more paper views.
- 2:04:14[SPEAKER_03]: And
- 2:04:15[SPEAKER_03]: Also their paper views always so well, right?
- 2:04:18[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's TV's been doing better with their audiences and stuff, but I think whenever they just put a paper view in a major city, resting found show up and it does make it feel big time.
- 2:04:29[SPEAKER_03]: And I think writing this wave, I think they've earned a lot of goodwill back in the last year and the quality of the show has been better just week to week.
- 2:04:43[SPEAKER_03]: I've
- 2:04:44[SPEAKER_03]: a great run.
- 2:04:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, be curious to see where redemption is.
- 2:04:50[SPEAKER_03]: It sounds a bit like a backlash, doesn't it?
- 2:04:52[SPEAKER_03]: It sounds a bit like a fallout show from your big show, like people trying to get their redemption.
- 2:04:58[SPEAKER_00]: Part of the copyright did their royal redemption as a potential like nobody knows what it's for But like a rumble rip off for something which maybe think I can go and is that gonna be like next year around You know the stars, but you know partly it is this show coming up or I add the animal series not like for me
- 2:05:14[SPEAKER_00]: at joke about it with podcasters and like, you know, getting up that next day and whatever it takes to get those reviews in.
- 2:05:20[SPEAKER_00]: But I think just from a fan point of view, there is just a slight cautionary tale, isn't it?
- 2:05:24[SPEAKER_00]: Where they need to be, where it's like when the people views were very special, you can't agree.
- 2:05:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, six hours, that's fine.
- 2:05:29[SPEAKER_00]: As in another one year, I'm presumably, but again, if it's my AW, the tribe and this, you know, all the other international deals, probably it under the January show, getting out of this well.
- 2:05:39[SPEAKER_00]: There might be a tip on point where you might think I'd only maybe shave off an hour off these shows, but you don't want to talk about it, now we're going to happen, is it?
- 2:05:47[SPEAKER_03]: I've kind of, like, gotten over that now, and I do think sometimes, you know,
- 2:05:57[SPEAKER_03]: podcastes have a bit of a different, especially ones who are going live right after the show.
- 2:06:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, yes, you're still working.
- 2:06:06[SPEAKER_03]: Of course you're tired, but I don't know.
- 2:06:08[SPEAKER_03]: For me, when I have people over and we get the pizzas and the beers in and it's just hanging out in my mates, watching wrestling, like I don't mind the length so much, but I have definitely felt that fatigue in the arena at times.
- 2:06:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a live plus regularity, might be the tip of putting that.
- 2:06:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 2:06:25[SPEAKER_03]: And I still advocate doing those earlier shows like being in NBC, which is three hours behind like the show starting at five finishing at three for a month.
- 2:06:36[SPEAKER_03]: It's fantastic.
- 2:06:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's that's perfect.
- 2:06:39[SPEAKER_03]: when they did it with all out last year and all in last year, being earlier, I think it's definitely better if you're gonna be doing these long shows.
- 2:06:46[SPEAKER_03]: But I get what you mean with these, AWS, like, scheduling's weird, isn't it?
- 2:06:52[SPEAKER_03]: Because we had those years where you had all in and all out, literally back to back.
- 2:06:56[SPEAKER_03]: But then you had Grand Slam, like two weeks later, which is a big dynamite, and like it was just, all these big shows crammed together,
- 2:07:08[SPEAKER_03]: Well, then, and then nothing until revolution.
- 2:07:11[SPEAKER_03]: You've got like a two and a half month gap.
- 2:07:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it seems to no purpose, don't it?
- 2:07:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like this year, it was especially trained.
- 2:07:18[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, there was no real big TV in the middle.
- 2:07:20[SPEAKER_00]: There was no reason for it.
- 2:07:21[SPEAKER_00]: They just didn't do a paper view, which you'd think for them, like it'd be easy money, huh?
- 2:07:25[SPEAKER_03]: Anything else from a w this week just or you're just quickly.
- 2:07:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the the Australian market a much Absolutely, yeah, that was Like and I was you know, I loved loved loved loved the maximum if five stars over on On grapple of the story.
- 2:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean I sprays told and for me, they didn't go too far with the Uspray next stuff.
- 2:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think the total plausible story when I spray stayed in it despite himself
- 2:07:50[SPEAKER_00]: I did think the hatches era match last week I wouldn't have done, especially with us break going over at the end of it anyway, I don't think it was needed for the story, but this, this week was perfect, like if this had happened last week, I think I'd be more forgiven, or if he'd just given us greater week off, because he was supposedly dead after the baby dude, that would have worked too, but as far as matches like put in some of the over and Davis hasn't really been put over as a heavy in the Don Carlos family, what a way to win as well, like the referee stopping him because of the
- 2:08:15[SPEAKER_00]: The power driver on the apron, and Osprey being dead on the outside, like, it made Mark Davis look like Killer, Osprey's selling was unbelievable in this thing, obviously he was captured there, the moccasley angle with the air with the kid, that one as well, which people's mileage might vary on, depending on the thoughts on collision last night boy, has a stand-alone match as a story, has a part of this story with Osprey coming back from the neck injury, I thought this was perfect in you wrestling, it was a great
- 2:08:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just a great, great piece of work, like booking-wise, it's Mark Davis has been such a revelation.
- 2:08:53[SPEAKER_03]: These last few months, and pretty much on TV every week.
- 2:08:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I think for me, it was like, I always enjoyed Aussie open, but Carl Fletcher really broke out.
- 2:09:04[SPEAKER_03]: And you kind of almost thought Mark Davis might not be long for the company, just sing like this bum, hangin' around.
- 2:09:13[SPEAKER_03]: For me, it was the, uh, I can't remember which one it was, because they do so many, but it was one of the casino gauntlets, where he came out and just had like a, a two minute run of pile driving everyone and it was like, whoa, where's this guy been and that's translated into TV and had some great matches, hasn't there certainly picked up the wins.
- 2:09:33[SPEAKER_03]: But here, getting a huge win against one of the top guys in Will Osprey, but Osprey is completely protected as well because his story is his next fact, he's broken.
- 2:09:46[SPEAKER_03]: So I thought it was fantastic.
- 2:09:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm so glad they did the referee stoppage, because one criticism and AW skill to
- 2:09:59[SPEAKER_03]: injury is a shoe injury and the the referee doesn't do a count out and the dogs checking on them.
- 2:10:07[SPEAKER_03]: Like it, it, for me, that breaks the k-f-a rules of wrestling because the idea of wrestling is you hurt someone enough that you can pin their shoulders to a map or they get counted out.
- 2:10:19[SPEAKER_03]: And when you, that, A-W does it a lot and I found it funny because Daniel, Brian Danielson was going off on commentary about it in the head to Sarah match.
- 2:10:28[SPEAKER_03]: But Danielson did it every week when he was wrestling because it beat, you go to commercial
- 2:10:37[SPEAKER_03]: Brian Danielson on the outside pretending to have a seizure because his next fuck to or whatever and then it's three minutes and no one's counting like it It that takes it out of it takes me out of it for me and like Mark Davis you saw him and I like that He was doing it.
- 2:10:54[SPEAKER_03]: He was like why the fuck on you counts it like I've yeah, Paul driven him fees her like call the match off It's a TKO or whatever like
- 2:11:02[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm glad they eventually did the ref stopage but it's just a trope and wrestling that I really hate because it's it's trying to make you as the audience think oh, this is a real injury and then they're like, oh, no, it's not it it's just weird for me.
- 2:11:18[SPEAKER_00]: still do walk the line really well.
- 2:11:19[SPEAKER_00]: I take from a realism point of view as well, because I have my criticism of the Hedge Zero match last week, but I felt with our split this week as well.
- 2:11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Even down to kicking out of the power driver in the ring, just by desperately, like, was it one limb on the rope, or something like that?
- 2:11:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, in big matches, I'll spread those stuff like that all the time.
- 2:11:34[SPEAKER_00]: So it makes sense that even in this lower scale TV match, you'll do that, but then they had the cake in an 82, because again, they got to do the ref stuff with you on the outside and our spring didn't get up from fucking that,
- 2:11:47[SPEAKER_00]: you know, what might have happened to him in the H0 matcha on the paper view?
- 2:11:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, I think that'd be drew the line perfectly and how to tell us exact story and give you a bit of realism that obviously Osprey often gets criticized for not ovening as much as I think put Davis in the TNT title picture, you know, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis match.
- 2:12:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'd be completely downfall.
- 2:12:08[SPEAKER_00]: for sure.
- 2:12:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, AEW wealth of fantastic wrestlers and they're on quite the run of just putting on great TV at the moment.
- 2:12:17[SPEAKER_03]: I've been really, really enjoying it.
- 2:12:21[SPEAKER_03]: I think that brings us to an end you haven't had a chance to watch the Hulk doc yet.
- 2:12:27[SPEAKER_03]: Have you?
- 2:12:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, not a chance yet.
- 2:12:29[SPEAKER_00]: What am I
- 2:12:32[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't finished it yet, I'm waiting for the episode where they're like, yeah, he was a cunt and I think I'm getting to that point now, I will say he is from what I've seen so where I'm on about episode five and so far it feels a little bit like one of the A&E
- 2:13:00[SPEAKER_03]: his career and some bits timeline wise I'm like just watching the clips they're showing and I'm like, that's after that and that's before that.
- 2:13:08[SPEAKER_03]: But it's kind of just not necessarily anything new that I don't know about Holt's career.
- 2:13:17[SPEAKER_03]: from the interview side, I feel he's coming across a little bit more honestly than I'm used to.
- 2:13:25[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't even checked online, but I'm not noticing as much ball-shitting as I normally do.
- 2:13:35[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, like Brett Hartz on there, getting his digs in as a way so that's funny.
- 2:13:43[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, like where I'm up to right now, it's going through his divorce with Linda and all that.
- 2:13:48[SPEAKER_03]: And it's seeming like now we're going to the dark side of Hulk Hogan, which I'm interested to see how they tackle.
- 2:13:56[SPEAKER_03]: But I feel it's going to be one of those things that will come out of it and learn nothing new.
- 2:14:01[SPEAKER_03]: But then your...
- 2:14:03[SPEAKER_03]: friends who have just thrown it on because it's a Netflix documentary and they like Netflix documentaries, are going to come up to you and go, did you know he was racist and you're like, yeah, yeah, I did, I did know that unfortunately.
- 2:14:18[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's going to be one of those where it's not, I haven't really learned anything new so far, but still got a couple of episodes left.
- 2:14:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I stepped out there that when they came to visit me out here, he was like, I can't, I can't, I must be, must be devastated, you in your mates, I was like, no, me and my mates don't really feel that way, I've got to be honest.
- 2:14:37[SPEAKER_00]: So we got the full, you get the real documentary out of me in the car that day, but yeah, it's going to break through, I think in that same way, maybe not like the same level, but I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
- 2:14:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm interested in seeing it from the little clips I've seen and the Billy Bulls shit lies that the Hogan told me.
- 2:14:51[SPEAKER_00]: You saw that Netflix logo and was like, okay, I'll tone down the Bulls shit a little.
- 2:14:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's the big show, you know, I've got to give it a give it my absolute best.
- 2:14:58[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a more peculiar ass to there and I've never actually finished the last season of unreal.
- 2:15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I will finish this.
- 2:15:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, I'm coming up for there.
- 2:15:05[SPEAKER_00]: A busy, maybe a week, so it took a few days off this week, got yourself to.
- 2:15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Beautiful, hot y'all, yeah.
- 2:15:09[SPEAKER_00]: I know a recommendation.
- 2:15:10[SPEAKER_00]: So a little bit late getting back to the end of the homework this weekend, but I'll have it do probably have a watch before we do another grapple show.
- 2:15:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's close there.
- 2:15:18[SPEAKER_00]: How was Royan?
- 2:15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Lovely.
- 2:15:20[SPEAKER_00]: As you know, to be a third-edger, a full-fuck guitarist though, and also I did not go to the myth.
- 2:15:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's a myth.
- 2:15:25[SPEAKER_00]: This is Vietnam by the way folks.
- 2:15:27[SPEAKER_00]: There is a Mr. Bean theme bar in the middle of Vietnam in Hoyan, and guess what?
- 2:15:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's full of fuckin' Brits.
- 2:15:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I say that as a Brits, I'm allowed to say Jesus Christ.
- 2:15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he was beautiful by day daily, lovely place.
- 2:15:38[SPEAKER_00]: Got a couple of great coffees there.
- 2:15:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's a great food there.
- 2:15:41[SPEAKER_00]: While it was cow-law, I don't know if you tried that while you were there.
- 2:15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 2:15:45[SPEAKER_00]: The only save it there don't because the water's got to be the right kind of texture or whatever the way it is and the noodles are only made there It's incredible and then at night time all the fucking tourists came out and I was like, oh, they want to get back to the night But I'm going to go and let me be a lot of season.
- 2:15:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a big bubble holiday this week in here If it and I'm so maybe it'll be a bit quiet at the other time, but I'll go for a bit of a longer stretch
- 2:16:05[SPEAKER_00]: Was it was that your highlight of it, Vietnam?
- 2:16:07[SPEAKER_03]: Did you write it?
- 2:16:08[SPEAKER_03]: I did, like, oh, yeah, it's just beautiful.
- 2:16:10[SPEAKER_03]: Like, there's old town with just got lanterns everywhere.
- 2:16:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's just, it's stunning.
- 2:16:17[SPEAKER_03]: And especially when the sun's setting as well, it just looks beautiful.
- 2:16:22[SPEAKER_03]: And I got a lot of clothes made there.
- 2:16:25[SPEAKER_03]: They're not either hailaring.
- 2:16:26[SPEAKER_03]: So, went to a tailor, get up.
- 2:16:29[SPEAKER_03]: Got a suit custom made, got some nice, you know, Ethan Page style shirts, which I like wearing for the summer, some sort, some smart pants.
- 2:16:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like I, I definitely want to go back to Vietnam and I think next time I'm going to pack way less.
- 2:16:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm wearing one of my very, I was wondering Canada does he's right now, which just that from shopping.
- 2:16:53[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't, oh no, I have to apologize through the, the shoppy drama, uh, there's a, there's a website over there in Vietnam, good shoppy, which is, I don't know, it's like Amazon, but slash like Timo sort of you have like, yeah,
- 2:17:12[SPEAKER_03]: we were looking for for these shoes from my girlfriend because when when we went to way out and and she got this like pantsuit made and they gave her these uh that what they call what what what what what I think they call which are these like wooden
- 2:17:29[SPEAKER_03]: high heel shoes that just fit the outfit really well.
- 2:17:33[SPEAKER_03]: So she goes, oh wait, where'd you get these from?
- 2:17:35[SPEAKER_03]: They said Denang.
- 2:17:36[SPEAKER_03]: So we're looking around Denang for them.
- 2:17:38[SPEAKER_03]: Can't find them anywhere, going to all the markets.
- 2:17:41[SPEAKER_03]: So then maybe this shoppy thing.
- 2:17:43[SPEAKER_03]: So
- 2:17:44[SPEAKER_03]: signing up, I order some like, Nike trainers and some jerseys and all this sort of stuff, like load the basket and then you have to have a Vietnamese number for it to work.
- 2:17:57[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm then going to a SIM card shop and using Google Translate and she's trying to set up my shopping account and then I need the app, but my app store is Canada, it's not Vietnam, so I can't download the app.
- 2:18:10[SPEAKER_03]: So eventually I go through through you and and like place the order through your account, and it all arrives like nine hours after I've left the country Well, I don't know what what was got like usually until 24 hours.
- 2:18:26[SPEAKER_00]: It comes maybe to Ho Chi Minh City thing because that's where you're here
- 2:18:30[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's all good.
- 2:18:30[SPEAKER_00]: I only got one miss call from a delivery driver outside of that.
- 2:18:33[SPEAKER_00]: It was just a few messages from shops here.
- 2:18:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mostly just say that your size was ours because that's the other problem.
- 2:18:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's all great and it's all cheap.
- 2:18:41[SPEAKER_00]: Fuck, you got a lovely pair of white nikes while you're out there.
- 2:18:44[SPEAKER_00]: I have never find my sizes.
- 2:18:46[SPEAKER_00]: So when you do, you've got to get it up and you're in.
- 2:18:48[SPEAKER_00]: It took the chance for Choppy, and it's just a didn't quite wear house.
- 2:18:52[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's it.
- 2:18:52[SPEAKER_03]: It's like I'm risking losing 20 bucks here, and I might get a nice pair of sneakers, or I've got a great gift for someone with smaller feet than me, right?
- 2:19:05[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I really, really happy with this, this can of the jersey.
- 2:19:08[SPEAKER_03]: Like, fast those.
- 2:19:09[SPEAKER_03]: I wore my new Blue Jay's one to work the other day and told everyone it's, it's, it's not real.
- 2:19:15[SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, what, it looks exactly the same.
- 2:19:18[SPEAKER_03]: Although I did get some Real Madrid shirts for work because we're now the official Real Madrid bar.
- 2:19:24[SPEAKER_03]: And we noticed on one of the sleeves, the logo is upside-down, but what you're going to do.
- 2:19:48[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, absolutely.
- 2:19:49[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thinking next next winter, I'll probably do a similar trip and maybe try and get a couple more weeks in so I can see a few other places, but yeah, absolutely.
- 2:19:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a little bit here.
- 2:20:00[SPEAKER_03]: Hanaway, yeah, definitely didn't see any of the north of Vietnam and Thailand.
- 2:20:05[SPEAKER_03]: Great to be on the high list as well.
- 2:20:06[SPEAKER_03]: Good.
- 2:20:07[SPEAKER_03]: Nice.
- 2:20:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I've been since getting back, I've pretty much bought lemon grass and lime leaves and used it in every meal because it's just food there.
- 2:20:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's just
- 2:20:16[SPEAKER_03]: It just, it tastes, it might not be healthy, but it just tastes healthy all that like citrusy freshness that comes to it.
- 2:20:22[SPEAKER_03]: It just, yeah, it's delicious.
- 2:20:25[SPEAKER_00]: Steph, to that one, who she came, when I was in Taiwan, she came, I was unlike soon as she got on, she was cooking air versions of all of the different like time, you know, she got there and yeah, you look at the people, they're all fucking skinny, aren't they, so they're supposed to be something in it.
- 2:20:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're in time in the taste of what you're actually.
- 2:20:40[SPEAKER_03]: Now the chiefs, they're just maybe not by healing,
- 2:20:45[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 2:20:46[SPEAKER_00]: We could say that now at this point, the podcast play.
- 2:20:48[SPEAKER_00]: There's been a couple of days folks, but it was worth it to part with you, but it was amazing to see it out of you.
- 2:20:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's great.
- 2:20:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'll get a scene as a saw you made it.
- 2:20:55[SPEAKER_00]: It was amazing.
- 2:20:55[SPEAKER_00]: That makes how many countries for us?
- 2:20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Four does it?
- 2:20:58[SPEAKER_00]: If we can't England, America, UK, Canada, America.
- 2:21:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, four countries.
- 2:21:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 2:21:02[SPEAKER_03]: Neither of them were.
- 2:21:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:21:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's see the Thailand get that on the list.
- 2:21:07[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 2:21:08[SPEAKER_03]: That's something.
- 2:21:08[SPEAKER_03]: Saudi, maybe next year, who knows.
- 2:21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, the flight's going through there, you know, and there's an option, but maybe not.
- 2:21:15[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe not, but like he's seeing you out all in this year, is that still up in the air?
- 2:21:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'll be back.
- 2:21:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'll be back.
- 2:21:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so good to Paula.
- 2:21:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there are a few other people in your circles.
- 2:21:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I think I'll be making the trip.
- 2:21:28[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 2:21:29[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if you are in London, I think quite a few of us are going to be there for all in Wembley this year.
- 2:21:35[SPEAKER_03]: I'm actually booking my flights today, hopefully.
- 2:21:37[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, cool.
- 2:21:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Virgin at Landtick flying now, which I'm some good prices there.
