- 0:40[SPEAKER_05]: And some of us here as well, some of us birthday today.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_05]: Turn six, so happy birthday, some of us.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_05]: He's,
- 0:45[SPEAKER_05]: He said 20 treats today.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_05]: Don't worry about it.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_05]: Got two pup cups at Starbucks, but that's not what you guys are here for you here for the draft content.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_05]: Carl, I wasn't sure what I was going to be faced with on today's show quite literally from you given our conversations last week with the beard, but happy to see it is still looking a Jeva Dia strong.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_04]: So my wife told me I get to keep it until after my birthday.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_04]: So I've got just a little over a week left that I get to keep it.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_04]: And then I get a trim it down.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_04]: I went to my parents house today and my two ants were there.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_04]: And so I had my two ants and my mom all making comments about this.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_04]: This lovely beard and how it's out of control.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_04]: And I need to do something to tame the beast.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_05]: I say, just let it keep going, man.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_05]: You just disappearing to the woods.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_05]: Nobody will question that Eric, good to see you at this, the PM on the clock here.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_05]: I know that you're up at typically very, very early on your end of things.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_05]: How you doing?
- 1:45[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we'll obviously touch base again Friday, but good to see you in a time period that doesn't require you to wake up as early.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, you know, normally I've already been out for 12 hours at this point, 12 hours ago is when I wake up for you on Monday and Fridays, but I'm doing good.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a good day.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm excited for the for the draft.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited for the trickle zone.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're not a member on YouTube, become a member for that.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: I have another episode tomorrow and then Thursday as well.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, excited to do the round table mock is every single year that we've done what since 2017, 2018.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: been a long time.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: So excited to excited to get into it.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_05]: It has been many, many years.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_05]: Also many years hanging out here, Lance.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_05]: Good to see you.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_05]: It's always a great time here.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_05]: We can cross paths on these shows.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_05]: How you doing?
- 2:38[SPEAKER_05]: I've the room always looks good.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_05]: You definitely have Eric Scott, obviously the Star Wars fandom going on here, but you definitely have the most Bronco centric.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_05]: And I have the
- 2:47[SPEAKER_05]: somewhat minimalist of the dog that's not being gross.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_05]: Designed for me.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, doing good.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_03]: Fortunately, I'm the one that's actually exhausted today, so I can be the one to throw that man to out there.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: I wake up at four o'clock every single morning, so I can go to work.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_03]: But doing good, the room needs to be cleaned up a little bit more.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_03]: But no, I'm just thankful that the wife allowed me to take one room in our house to actually turn it into an office of Bronco-centric room.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: She did good work.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_03]: She did the majority of all the work in here, so I've got to give a shout out to the wife But no doing good Excited for the draft here up on Thursday and Friday specifically, but Yeah, honestly, I'm ready for it to be over quite honestly with it with this amount of work that I've done for the last like what two and a half or three weeks Just trying to cram as many players as I possibly can to get ready for this entire shendig.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_03]: It's been a lot, but No
- 3:38[SPEAKER_03]: excited to be here on a wonderful Tuesday evening.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Not a wonderful Friday evening.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see you guys Friday as well.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, thanks for having us.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_05]: Hopefully my dog is not going to be squeak in that toy here.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_05]: Otherwise he's going to get kicked out on his birthday.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_05]: How's that?
- 3:52[SPEAKER_05]: Talk about parties here.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_05]: MBLX test prep grade to see a happy Tuesday.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_05]: We've got Chase in here saying MHH is symbol our guy among Michael Bronqueo.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_05]: Of course, hope you're doing well down there.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_05]: Two sun.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_05]: Got our guys Steven Bungarner coming in here saying, hey, guys.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_05]: Gobo Broncos.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_05]: Todd is in the house too, and we got a comment here from microonq also and we got Scott in the background, so I won't pull Scott on, but he says Atlanta Falcon's Titan Calipits could be traded during the 2020-6 NFL draft, not giving up a second-round pick for Calipits, that's an asking price for services, maybe you just have the second-round pick summit, maybe you just have the second-round pick included, but maybe it's not 62, maybe you're getting a little bit of value back.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_03]: Well, honestly, I'd give up the second round to tell you the truth, to get a player of that caliber that you can line up in line.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_03]: He's a quality enough blocker, even though there's still some work to do there from a player that has never been a high quality blocker, but he shows the effort.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_03]: There's some technical issues and whatnot.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: But to add that kind of a dynamic threat as a receiver, lining them up out wide, lining them up in the slot, you can give very creative with a player of his athletic skill set.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_03]: there's no player you're going to get at number 62 that's going to be as good as Kyle takes his right now.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_03]: So if that's all you have to give up is 62, I personally would be willing to do something like that to just bolster the room and actually create a dynamic threat from that position to pair with Jalen Wattel over the middle of the field.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean that's like
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: Why not?
- 5:24[SPEAKER_03]: Like everyone wants Eli Stowers or Max Claire or we can get later in the draft and go like a Tanner Coziel from Houston not to get into like spoilers here, but like if you want a big slot a guy that can actually play that particular role and be we all hate the term but that Joker role that Titan mismatch over the middle of the field Kyle pits is the best one and if you only have to go up 62 to do it and then pay him a contract why not?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's that asterisk there at the end that maybe changes the equation a bit the contract as well.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_05]: What does he look for?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, we all know that, but that does change the perception of a bringing him in and I know a lot of people Eric, I'll ask you, I will be like,
- 6:12[SPEAKER_05]: ROI you hope for my season and there's been some talk all you know you got Davis web calling plays now another year in the system but Does Evan and Grimm keep you from adding somebody like Kyle pits or at least cause you to pause
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's something that you and I, we've talked about at a lot on the morning shows.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: You don't let talent that you have keep you from getting adding better talent.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: Evan Ingraham had a really terrible year last year.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's older.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't look like he was not even a shell of himself, really.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: And he's on the last year of his deal.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't do 62 for a Kyle Pitz personally, but, you know, there's other titans out there that are kind of in that summer mold time.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't let Evan Ingram keep me from making a move to add another tie to end even if they are a big slot tie to end because of what he is at this point in his career in the fact is again one year left on his deal you don't pass up down for one year of Evan Ingram at what he gave you last year.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he absolutely cow pits is but still 25 years old extremely talented and he looked at the last but four years he's top five I think in yards accumulated and now he's not going to give you.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_05]: blocking that you want, but he's still, I mean, he's a unicorn with the catch radius and stuff that he can do.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_05]: So, very interested if he was available, and he's probably better than anything yet, 62, but it's the caveat again to the contract.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_05]: No caveat attached on this one.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_05]: Shannon Mills, 2217, we're going to read the entire thing for the 9999 Super Chat from a mile-high-huttle member at that.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_05]: Coming on here,
- 7:47[SPEAKER_05]: Big Red says, hey Nick Carl, Eric and Lance and Scott, happy birthday summit.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_05]: He got a big day to go have a birthday outdoor, you're squeaking that too much, says looking forward to the roundtable mock and the draft those week, go Broncos.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, me too, and especially with the support coming in from folks like you, Shannon, so really do appreciate that and guide your here.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't want to say that, you know, I have no ethics or morals.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_05]: But like when you give a 99 99 super chat and there's like a tie going on in the chat if Shannon comes in and says I want this player I might be inclined to at least you know Consider that a little bit more of Good to see a Shannon really do appreciate you coming in and say hello.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_05]: I want to say a little to some work folks in here got a guy mile high ducky Albert Noppers say anyone's tied in often to tackle linebacker and running back Carl.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_05]: I think we talked about this a good bit
- 8:36[SPEAKER_05]: And I think there was a, I sent it to Scott earlier because we've had some offensive tackles chat with the Falcons, McGarry retiring and given they might be looking for quarterback next year.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_05]: You don't want to have an offensive tackle issue the same time that you need a quarterback.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_05]: But I think Albert Brear, Scott, you can correct me if I'm wrong said that we could expect maybe have to,
- 8:57[SPEAKER_05]: six seven offensive tackles in the first round and a lot of them coming off the board very early and just what what you thought's an offensive tackle and a lot of people you know get pretty upset about the Broncos not drafting a true offensive tackles since 2016 Astrix Dalton Ryzenar was a tackle moved to guard so the year after that but what do you thought's an offensive tackle?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_04]: Well, first off, you say in six, seven, and we have in kids that are 11 and nine years old, they're, oh, yeah, I'm sorry, don't even know.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_04]: I know, I know, it's just part of my life.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: I said it earlier today with my wife and I were talking about something, and my son goes, oh, but anyway, you're right.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_04]: Opposite tackle, it's kind of like quarterback.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_04]: There's those times where teams almost start talking themselves into a prospect that otherwise would not have that high.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_04]: All of a sudden, high Simpson having people go, oh man, he might be best quarterback in this draft.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_04]: And that's some ant analysts, but I mean, there's talk of him in round one.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I think he's kind of that level of talent, but because he's quarterback, he gets that bump.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_04]: Offensive tackle is that same thing.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: Where all said, and you start going, hey, you know what?
- 10:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he didn't look great in college, but in NFL, we can coach him up, and all said, he's gonna become this great player.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_04]: And so then you start getting some names in there that probably shouldn't be going that high, but because there's just such a limited,
- 10:26[SPEAKER_04]: number of good offensive tackles available, teams talk themselves into it.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_04]: And there's a certain type.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, this is why most of the top offensive tackles in football are first round guys.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_04]: Teams don't usually, if you
- 10:41[SPEAKER_04]: If you're going to hit at a position, that's one that you really want to hit out in the first round.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm very thankful that the Broncos haven't been one of those teams to panic and be like, oh, we have to go do this.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_04]: We have to go get this guy.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_04]: Now, thankfully, you know, having Garrett Bowles be at the level he is and play as long as he has, that's helped.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_04]: And then, yeah, on the other side, it's worked out okay recently, thankfully, but it's always, yeah, it's stable.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_04]: There's a good work for it.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_04]: And so it's been working out pretty good.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_04]: But yes, you do have to start thinking about it.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's in the second round work on it, but at some point, you would think the Broncos have to start looking at a guy that they can develop for a year.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_05]: Bringing it back to Sean Payton's comment in the press conference last week, all the day I worked all week outside of the day I'll run together.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure you guys feel the same.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_05]: But Sean Payton talked about the flex ability as well.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_05]: And I think you're talking, you know, Broncos round two, round three if they move around or something.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_05]: You might have somebody who is listed as tackle and maybe tackle in a pinch.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_05]: I think probably the long term vision is left guard.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe some right tackle as well, but it's probably somebody, again, Peyton talks specifically about that flex and, uh, man, with all the information about the Broncos looking at, not the Broncos looking at, but how many offensive tackles can go in the first round?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm curious what that line is for how many offensive linemen in the first round.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_05]: If you guys think you have a beat on that number, probably go check out our friends over at Underdog.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, sorry.

- 14:27[SPEAKER_05]: because the kid will be going down.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_05]: I'll be alone.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he'll be single dad and the kids' room is right there.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_05]: So I can't get too excited during the stream.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll be here hanging out.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_05]: Roy Osborne great to see a Roy just did a polar plunge and got in the news for it as well.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_05]: So I asked Roy for the clip.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_05]: He hasn't yet.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's ducking me.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe that was a weird request.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_05]: But congratulations to you Roy on all of that.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_05]: Want to say a little more folks coming in here.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: I got our guy Keith.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_05]: He's saying hi to everybody.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_05]: Keith is Mr.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_05]: Friendly.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_05]: says Bronco's country, great to see a Keith appreciate you coming in.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_05]: I'll kick this one to Lance here.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_05]: Again, we're just going around the table.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_05]: Sue Gibson asks, what does everyone thought's in pub?
- 15:05[SPEAKER_05]: possibly getting to Von Hain, if they trade him.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_05]: Personally, for me, I'm interested.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_05]: Again, it's another one of those guys of the contract, but I think I saw Omar Kelly, he's been around with the dolphins for a bit, but I think he mentioned like 11 million a year for which I think that's a good deal.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_05]: Considering what some of these guys are getting, get that contract in before we see what Gibson B. John get paid if I was doing that, but I'm interested, I'd be gosh, you already gave up 30, 62, I mean we're trying to win now.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_05]: bring talent.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: What what the dolphins want return for for Devon HN like like he's one of the better running backs in the NFL despite the diminutive statue I mean he's explosive he's good out of the back field not the the past protector you need but if you want to pair him with a guy like JK Dobbins I mean I'm completely interested it just depends on what that cost is and
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: I know I said I was willing to give up 62 for Kyle pits, but I I don't know that I would do that necessarily for a guy like to bond each hand because you're and again, here comes the caveat of the contract like you've got a smaller player.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_03]: Dmitty to kind of more specified role in the offense, you've got a guy already kind of like that in RJ Harvey, so like where does that balance come in you just spent a second round take on Harvey before and then gave.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_03]: JK Dobbins $8 million.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_03]: If you're going to give Devon HN, another $11 million, $12 million and $13 or something like that over the top of that.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_03]: That just seems to me like too much of an investment in the running back room, given what you've already done there.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_03]: I love him.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_03]: It would be an amazing player to ask this Broncos offense alongside Jalen while just to rob the Miami Dolphins, shout out to my father in my Tony who's a Dolphins fan.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's a feasible option.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: As much as I would enjoy it, I probably don't think that that's going to be something that we see over the course of the next five days or so.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it would be interesting.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_05]: I've mentioned too much of the investment in the running back room.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_05]: Eric, what do you think about potentially,
- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: either involving somebody like RJ Harvey in the trade or spinning RJ Harvey after making them move now that hard to Harvey you should trade him, but again, a chain is 23 24 and you have a chance to recoup some capital as well, because maybe a little bit redundant, but a chain is obviously more explosive as a running back and just brings more dynamism overall.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, even on the rookie contract, it would actually be a loss for the Broncos financially to move on and RJ Harvey, as well as after one year where he gave you 12 touchdowns, you're not recapping that 60th overall pick value that you get used on him.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't think Denver would be on HN because of Harvey.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: I know I said talking about pits that you know, Ingram shouldn't keep it from adding talent.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit of a slightly different conversation with Harvey because of the 60th pick that you've invested in being on a rookie contract, still being relatively young and new to the NFL.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't, I don't see HN as a possibility.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: And if it did happen, I,
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: doubt they would move Harvey.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think they would probably look at having Harvey and HN as their future duo after a year of JK Dobbins, if it must or two, if it manages to stay healthy and gets that second year.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: Can we get one here?
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: For that.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: That was going to say, and last thing was like, with that contract with Dobbins, like, that also makes it a little questionable that they'll go in and bring in another running back.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I've seen a lot of people talk about pre-solid.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's the same thing with
- 18:30[SPEAKER_05]: I just want talent.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_05]: I hear you, but I mean, heck, I'd be greedy.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_05]: Keep all three and do the Joker snap on the pool queue over his knee.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_05]: We're having tryouts, like you want the snaps go get him.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_05]: Stay healthy.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_05]: Film a golf one of the super chat.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you so much, Philly.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_05]: He says, good evening, Nick Carl, Eric, and Lance.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_05]: I love everybody.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_05]: Spilling Eric's name right, too.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_05]: So we know we got the right crew in here.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_05]: And he can, of course, have to be birthday summit.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_05]: What are the odds we move back?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, man, I've given Eric all these odds questions.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_05]: Carl, I'll kick it to you.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_05]: We do want to get into the simulator here quickly, but I think it's not likely for this team.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_05]: They're going for it right now.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_05]: I think way more likely to move up where they're at right now.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, our team's even trying to move up.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_05]: Or are you even getting for that type of move too?
- 19:16[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm going to say not likely.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_05]: I'm with you.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think right now the rock is only have a few real roster spots that you would look at and say hey these are open, these are what could be filled with the rookies.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_04]: And so if you're trading back it better be for 2027 kind of picks and it probably wouldn't be too far because you're already your very first pick being at 62.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty far down.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_04]: Most don't like that, and that idea of Sean Payton being in that war room all through Thursday through most of Friday before the Broncos make their first pick.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know that man is going to be burn in a trail, walk in circles in that war room.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_04]: Just going, our guys are coming off, and I know I've seen some people say in the chat that they talked about, they have six names.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_04]: or seven names, if, yeah, if one, if, let's say three or four of them are off there at the board, and we're, and picks away from the Broncos, there might be Sean Payton going, get up there, go get him, go get our guy.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_04]: And, and at that point, I'm okay with it.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if you're not given up
- 20:28[SPEAKER_04]: I could be okay with it, you know, if it's our second and one of our fourth round picks, yeah, go for it.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's it's worth at that point if you're getting the guy you want.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, the key is to be knocking on the door year after year and now if you don't have one of the top, no doubt, like three to five quarterbacks, then that's hard to do, but you want to be able to balance.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_05]: consistency long term as well as going for it in that window where we have that rookie cost control and I think this is a team after the water trade you've already pushed your chips in a bit you've already put in most of your your pot for the season if you will and going all in at that point on this season not talking 2027-2028 class or 2029 which becomes available as soon as the first pick goes in I think as
- 21:21[SPEAKER_05]: whatever to me at that point.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_05]: So, Lancy, it's something?
- 21:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think that it's more likely that the Broncos actually try to move up into the third round, like quite honestly based on what George Payton was saying the other day, like they're valuing those pixels players that they're looking at from what 45 to 75, I think is what he said.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_03]: So like they've got that pick number 62 as I hit my microphone.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_03]: But you've got those two picks in the fourth round.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_03]: You've got the fifth round pick up at three, seventh round picks.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_03]: You can maybe utilize a package in that and maybe even a player or two, whether it's Riley Moss, Troy Franklin, something like that, to kind of thin out the corner back room.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_03]: You've already got John A. Baron, who took with the 20th overall pick this last season, you bring in Jalen Waddle, you still have Marvin Mims, like there's a handful of different options here.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that the Broncos are going to try to utilize either a couple of picks or a player to get into the top
- 22:12[SPEAKER_03]: I would say the 80 somewhere around in there to get another pick in that that that area of this draft that they cut it.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's a great point Lance.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_05]: They did mention having six players.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_05]: They were looking at at pick 62.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, one of the guys that's still there at 78 and he would perhaps would have loved him at 62 and he's still there kind of like what we saw with Riley Moss when they went up and got him two drafts ago.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_05]: So and Michael near and dear to my heart, he says trenches trenches.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_05]: If there is a tie, tie goes to the big guy.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_05]: At the end of the day, this is football.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_05]: This is NFL football.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_05]: We're not out here playing Big 12, Pact 12, whatever, going on.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, there's a big 12 fans out there.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_05]: There's some big guys in the big 12 too, but
- 22:55[SPEAKER_05]: This is NFL football.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_05]: Eric, any thoughts about, I will answer it about Denver, maybe being aggressive, not with that second pick, but with their fourth, their two fourth round picks, as well as you've said, 90% chance, one of Moss or McMillan are traded.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, odds, so what are your thoughts?
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's been well-reported that they're actively shopping those guys and willing to trade one of them.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe it is a combination of one of those players and one of the pick for move-up, maybe it's a combination of, well, that player for picks and then combining those picks to move-up.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: So they have their options available to them.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: They have plenty of ways they can do.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think that there's a better chance they move down at 62 than you or Carl do.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: For multiple reasons, one of them is, you know, if you have six players there, not one of them there, then you're probably going to move back or if there's all six of them are there, do you force that pick, do you move back, you know, five or so spots, try to get a little back, sure if the team wants to, of course, it takes two to tango and the question is, what are teams going to give up the trade?
- 24:03[SPEAKER_02]: They really seem to want to hold onto that early 20, 27 capital and the, you know, the first four rounds of night.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see, but yeah, it's, they have all options on the table.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: I was asked by somebody like, what do I think the, the odds are the Broncos moving back trading up and trading a player.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it's pretty good.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Broncos, you know, do all four types of trades that they could.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: There's, there's just been a lot of smoke out there.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll have to wait and see, obviously a lot of variables and play or any of it to happen.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_02]: But there's, there's enough smoke to be worth paying attention to for, you know, moving up, moving down, trading a player and even trading for a player.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks for saying all four types.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_05]: This can they trade back and get better future capital?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_05]: Because that's the Nick Kendall thumbs up no matter what type of move.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_05]: To trade a trade a trade that fourth round pick this year for a third next year.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_05]: God bless.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_05]: Patriots helped build a dynasty with that.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_05]: Probably not, at least not for that kind of move.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_05]: But you never know.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_05]: The few more halos in here before get this going, our Butler says hello to the MHH family.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_05]: I said hello, I clicked on a few in here, sky-pupill coming in here, did say hello.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_05]: A few, gosh, there was a few more I wanted to say hello to up here, but appreciate you all, Kenny, coming in good evening.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_05]: Broncos were a trade up round two.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_05]: We would have had a trade of multiple picks, so would you have had a player like Franklin with less picks?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_05]: Both available here.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_05]: I think I probably, Carl, you can jump in here.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_05]: We got to get on this, but I think I'd rather trade the picks, given how far they are.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_05]: I think Franklin, I wouldn't give up more than I would.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_05]: I would want like pick 75 back or pick 70 back in value.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_05]: So like packaging them up to move up in the second.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_05]: You'd have to get up pretty high.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'd rather use the picks.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I may look at what the Broncos got last year in a trade for their wife receiver and getting a high fourth round pick and boyfriend plan out played what we saw so I think like I said, if you're not getting late third early fourth round value for him, then it's not worth the trade.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_04]: I'm still trying to figure out what's gonna be his role on this team since he's not much of a special team's kind of guy, but at the same time, there's still a lot of talent there.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_04]: And so I think Broncos should be willing to hold on.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_04]: The same thing with Bradley Moss, you're not giving away for peanuts just because your cornerback room is crowded.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, you can get yourself a nice comp pick in 2028 by him going and signing somewhere else and you can get a really good year this year.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_04]: So that's where I would be at this point.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_05]: All right, well, I have no idea what I just clicked there, boys.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_05]: So since I've, you asked me to run one that I've never done before, but hopefully we can, there it is, draft.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_05]: Is that the one?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, thank God.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, zoomed in.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_05]: No panic.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_05]: Kyle Good to see it, too, says sorry to box out Lance and Eric here, but Kyle says, next year we'll be slightly more difficult schedule.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_05]: That being set up lead data to swim and get the offense.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_05]: Clicking will be going far in the playoffs.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_05]: Hope to hear your opinions on that Kyle.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to give a really short one here and I'll answer for everybody.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_05]: Bonix second half of the year Buffalo game can that be baseline the chiefs came on can you stay healthy?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_05]: The big two baby quarter back in health.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_05]: So thank you Kyle for joining us.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks everybody.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_05]: George Fox in here as well.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_05]: Microsoft's don't get mad at the safety pick at 62.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_05]: It sounds like the guy that I love based on what Lance is one of Lance's contacts.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_05]: One of my favorite players will be long gone.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_05]: But he's been there in the simulators.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_05]: So let's get it going.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_05]: I had it go pretty fast.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_05]: I guess it's not as fast as I'd hope, but we can talk while it's moving here.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_05]: A good to see Georgian here, appreciate everyone.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_05]: Make sure you click on the thumbs up, like, subscribe, share all that stuff.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_05]: Following Carl Lance myself, Scott, for all of this.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_05]: So we're hitting sitting here now.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be pick 62.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_05]: There's suggesting Josiah Trotter on the board here.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_05]: And we got four trade offers as well.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_05]: kind of jumps out to me here a little bit as well.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_05]: Max Claire, good player.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, don't have, I have this screen up and not you guys, so I'm gonna kick it off to my morning host first year.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_05]: Eric, your thoughts, and also if you want me to click on the trades, let me know.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, having done the morning shows you snow right where I'm at it's been a guy that I've been on since January and that's killing Rutledge he has a guy that he gives you the option to start out left guard this year, which you can then save money that you can use during the season or even roll over to next year where the Broncos are in a little bit tighter squat cat flies by moving on from Ben powers or even trying to trade Ben powers and explore that market.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: He can give you an instance harder.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: The only the biggest question that I have heard with him is can he flip sides and I've heard mixed comments on that he at the senior bull.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: He did some work on the love side and some were pleasantly surprised and others walked away, you know, a little bit more concerned.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: goes a show like I say a lot that 10 people can watch the same player and come out with 10 different players or 10 different opinions.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Killing Rutledge I mean he has that mentality.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_02]: The fact of the senior bull he had to be told by coaches to tone it down.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean he just wants to own the line of scrimmage every single snap and even in practice.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's Killing Rutledge like for me and I don't think there's I don't really in my opinion there's no discussion for anybody else.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, gosh, really interesting if you did trade moss or McMillan County Scott is so good in the slot, but I think Rutledge is the one who sticks out.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_05]: Claire also, I know some people love Kyle Lewis.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, gosh, the Lewis Riddick is continuously compared to Derek Brooks, like holy cow, like that's, you're planting your flag on a dude when you say that.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_05]: Carl, let's kick it to you now.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_05]: And there were just real quick.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_05]: The trade offers here, Dallas wants to give us 92
- 29:56[SPEAKER_05]: We got L.A. Rams, 93 in a future.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_05]: So I think this percentage is, uh, I don't know.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_05]: It's popped up something.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: It's value, value of the grade.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_05]: These ones are not so good.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_05]: Eagles move back a little bit for spots to get a future picks to and then 62 to 76.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_05]: So these ones are way better.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_05]: We could do it.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_05]: We talked about Denver not likely trading back.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_05]: Um,
- 30:20[SPEAKER_05]: Who, and also, oh god, there's the two safeties right there, two of them that we would have loved maybe a slight trade up there.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_05]: Stowers as well.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_05]: So I maybe would have made a slight trade up, but right now, just kind of read through the trades and some of those guys maybe could have traded up or we never really do that because the way the board falls.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_05]: But what do you're thinking right now Eric or excuse me Carl.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm with Eric on this one.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I think it is a pretty easy pick.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_04]: I do like Trotter.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_04]: There at the linebacker spot, I think if you're looking for a single-thin's future replacement.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_04]: And I really do like guys that come from NFL bloodlines, they just understand what it means to be a professional player.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_04]: It seems like more times than not.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_04]: And hard worker,
- 31:10[SPEAKER_04]: just seems to read plays well now yes he's not the greatest coverage guy and I know a lot people will push back against that like we got to get a line back because I can actually cover a tight end.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_04]: Hard to find a guy that can do everything but there's just only about three or four of them in the entire NFL that you can actually trust to do both and so I do think it would be a decent pick for the Broncos but I do think offensive guard it's it's a huge need
- 31:36[SPEAKER_04]: next year for sure, but I think you can even plug Rutledge in this year and and be very excited about what he could bring to this offense.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_04]: And there's talk of him going into round one right now.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_04]: And to get him here at 62, that that's huge value for the Broncos.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, man.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_05]: I definitely think we're leaning in Rutledge also stick to my word earlier.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_05]: Shannon said, uh, I agree, Rutledge and she gave a believe in 99 99 super chance.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_05]: So, uh, as we're leaning, but the trade are also enticing a lance.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_05]: What do you think right now?
- 32:08[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm going to lean the same way as Carl and Eric here in Q and Rutledge.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_03]: Like when I when I watched him, despite him playing right guard only, I mean,
- 32:15[SPEAKER_03]: We've already seen the versatility of a Quinn miners, who I believe played left guard.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_03]: It was constant white water.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_03]: They plugged them in at right guard.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_03]: He also has the versatility to play center.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_03]: So if nothing else, you if Rutlandish can't play right guard or left guard.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, left guard, you move miners to left guard and you still have a high quality player.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's an all-prolet right guard, but if you can insert a player that's going to be an ass kicker in the running game and also a high quality pass protector.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_03]: that makes a lot of sense.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to piggyback off of something that Carl said about Josiah Trotter and the NFL bloodlines and him being kind of inexperienced but still showing that that ability to play at the NFL level.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_03]: He's only 21 years old.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_03]: He just turned 21.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_03]: I believe like two or three days ago.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_03]: So there's still some growth in the potential of him.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_03]: He sees it so well in terms of like keen downhill.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: There might be some development in terms of the coverage player
- 33:13[SPEAKER_05]: interesting.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_05]: They'd want to kick it here.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_05]: I think right now we are very much leaning Rutledge Eric.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_05]: Did you want to risk it for a potential trade back?
- 33:23[SPEAKER_05]: Question number one.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_05]: And the other question was how much did it hurt seeing Halsey go right there?
- 33:30[SPEAKER_05]: If Halsey was on the board, are we having a different conversation?
- 33:32[SPEAKER_05]: Because I know that you might
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: There was one that I thought would might be that Philadelphia one move back four spots fourth spots get a future pick because like if Rutledge if Rutledge is there that's that is hard to pass up but getting that future pick it's going to be a 2027 pick.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: Being able to do that and still having the possibility of clear not my favorite guy but I understand the need for Denver or Trotter I'm really low on Trotter but I get the thought
- 34:10[SPEAKER_05]: Is it worth the risk?
- 34:11[SPEAKER_05]: I guess the question is do we like enough of there's Mike Washington also down here a bit a to board wouldn't like that dare more I mean interesting player probably can't count a Scott.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_05]: The way I lean I don't think moving back for spots is going to get you more than what a future six.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe right is that maybe a fifth sixth.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_05]: I think I like Rutledge enough standing out here on his own tier, but I don't mess with it.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_05]: I wish they showed us what they're off on us like a future third, you know, God bless, we'll take it.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_05]: But it just says future.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_05]: So right now I'm gonna read the chat, thinking Rutledge as well, needs a massiness, says storm blessed.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_05]: What did, what did I guy Michael say earlier if I can find it here?
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: Can I provide an argument for the tradeback with it?
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yeah, please do.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, Rutledge also had a really bad car accident in spring 2024.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: And there are some concerns or some part of it.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's part of the reason why he's been talking to us with us from big.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: There's also talk about him sliding into the third fourth round because of some concerns about the foot in particular that he from that car crash on.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: I believe it was his left foot, that he suffered a lot of damage on.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_02]: And when you actually see his leg, you can see some of that scarring from the car accident.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: There is some serious concern with that.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: that even for a, if it's a future fifth or future sixth, I'm still, I still would be fine with it just because of the medical is being enough of anything.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: And if you click on the pencil on it, it might show you what that, the edit symbol, it might show you what the future operates if it's a, to counter it.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_05]: I don't see it just, it comes up with a, wait, now it's over here.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_05]: I don't see it.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_05]: It just says 68.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't sure.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I thought it might.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm going to kick it back to Lance here.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_05]: See here.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_05]: You're Friday host.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_05]: We risking it.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_05]: We trading back four spots.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_05]: Do we like Rutledge enough?
- 36:17[SPEAKER_05]: The versatility.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_05]: You talked about it.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_05]: The nastiness.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_05]: Get a little bit extra capital.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_05]: Still other guys we like here.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_05]: Or do we just take the offensive lineman?
- 36:26[SPEAKER_03]: One other argument I'm going to put in here is traits.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Peyton and George Peyton talked about how they want to draft player with traits and Cuban Rutledge shows those traits in terms of being a dominant kick ass romic.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_03]: They're offering a third in 2027.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_03]: A third in 2027, okay, we'll just stay for trade then.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 36:45[SPEAKER_03]: Um, just a Tracy player, a mover, that that physicality that he brings, the things that you don't teach, like the, the, the want to the desire to be a quality lot offensive, I'm a player that's going to be a great leader in your locker room.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that to me is where I would lean, like it matches everything with what the Broncos need, not only now, but in the future and it just continues to bolster this offensive line and it, and the best way possible, like,
- 37:13[SPEAKER_05]: And he's still available, top down the board.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_05]: We got a future third.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_05]: So Denver can be pretty aggressive in 2027 or now.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, because you're getting the JFM trade in your pocket.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_05]: They've mentioned it a few times where they obviously understand what they have.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_05]: But I think we just move on with Rutlitch here, right?
- 37:30[SPEAKER_05]: Like we talked about it a lot.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_05]: Max Claire's also interesting still.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_05]: There's exclamation point one, maybe I can't tell.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_05]: My eyes are going, I'm old, but we'll go Rutlitch here.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_05]: And we move back, we didn't add any more picks this here.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_05]: So it's still should be pretty similar same added a versatile offensive lineman and another top 100 pick next year.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_05]: God, that makes me excited.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_05]: Eric, I don't know if I don't need to go on too much.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_05]: I'm getting hot and heavy here.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_05]: So we're sitting here at pick.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_05]: 108.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_05]: We got 108.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_05]: We got two picks here, really close to succession.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_05]: 108 and 1111.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to kick it to Carl on this first one.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_05]: Brandon Thompson, one of the most explosive wide receivers, not a great route runner, but I mean, speed kills, Oscar Delp, if the medicals are good, I mean, God, I love the blocker.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_05]: Trasune can play across line.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_05]: We just have to what's going on.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody to make them so noise.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_05]: But
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: We also got Caleb Proctor is very interesting.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_05]: Sam Rausch, an awesome Titan, Benny.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_05]: I think has an injury question, but an interesting player.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_05]: Eli Raerdin.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, this is a pretty good Titan area here, Eric, and they crossed off Iowa for us since we already took one.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_05]: So, God bless them.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_05]: What are you thinking here, Carl?
- 38:48[SPEAKER_04]: I think fourth round is kind of the sweet spot for a tight end with either of the picks.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care which one it is and I mean if we want to wait and say hey one of those guys is still going to be there obviously at one eleven.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_04]: I could definitely be okay with it.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_04]: I probably lean towards Rareden just because I really love his blocking.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_04]: I like
- 39:17[SPEAKER_04]: Now, he looks like he could be a future star at Titan, depending on how you look at him.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_04]: But just what he's shown, it's so up and down in his college career.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_04]: And then there's just some questions about just some decision-making that I have some questions about.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_04]: I know running back is obviously still a need to get that third running back in the room and feel good about that.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_04]: So a few names, of course, linebackers still out there, defensive line.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_04]: I think I saw somebody's name,
- 39:48[SPEAKER_04]: that I like proctor, I mean, it would be a good choice for the Broncos here as well.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_04]: But I would probably lean towards, I think I'd lean towards Rausch for this pick.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_05]: I will say Carl, I like Rausch, I like Raredin, I like Borkerker, still available.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_05]: We have a pick.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_05]: four later, three later, is there somebody at a different position that we like, that then we still think there's gonna be a tie-dend that we like at the next spot, or is there a tie-dend that separates themselves here?
- 40:18[SPEAKER_05]: What do you think, Lance?
- 40:20[SPEAKER_05]: What's the running back room we're gonna collect right now?
- 40:23[SPEAKER_05]: The running back room.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_05]: Ktron Allen, Clayborne, and they're high on him, singleton, Seth McGowan, Ktron Black, like him a lot.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe I'm awesome, I mean, Adam Randall.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_03]: It fell off so quickly, that's unfortunate.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's gonna fall off regardless because there's not a lot of names.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_05]: You got Emmett Johnson there, I mean, gosh, there's Jonah Coleman, I guess those are two guys and we did that trade back, maybe.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_05]: You see Jonah starts slipping there and maybe you make that move up in reality,
- 40:54[SPEAKER_05]: We're moving the simulator a little fast.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_05]: Would you have moved up for running back, Eric?
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I probably would have tried to get up for Jonah Coleman with what they had.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: That's probably what I probably would have done that.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_02]: Looking to see in what it would take to get there.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, back to Lance.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_05]: I just wanted to ask you real quick if you don't join or that was kind of give those two picks together, maybe a package you're earlier for in your fifth and see where how high you can go or future pick me you just bank the third so god bless I love that.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry Lance, go ahead.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_03]: No, you're good.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm with Eric your Jonah Coleman and johnson one of those two guys would really add some dynamic ability here Coleman more is like that.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_03]: You don't want your running backs to be like the straight home run hitters.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_03]: You need them to be like super consistent more or less is like you need three yards, four yards every single time you touch us the football on Joe and Coleman just does that.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: So does Amit Johnson.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: So like the their ability to just be consistent guys between the tackles.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_03]: That would help a lot in this running back room.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I like rouse here a lot.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_03]: What's the safety room look like if you could just quick.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_05]: Of course.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_05]: No problem.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_05]: If I can get over there.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_05]: Is that the safety?
- 42:01[SPEAKER_05]: Nope.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_05]: How do I get over there, Carl?
- 42:05[SPEAKER_05]: I zoomed in too far, so it's not going to help me with the, okay, cool.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_05]: Killgore, pain, tap, just to Fitzgerald, you got the combination there.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, this is these are.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, pain, pain would be interesting a little bit later.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think that we go rouse here, rarity would make a lot of sense as well.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_03]: And then see how the board falls.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_03]: I know we got a pick here, just a couple of minutes here.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_03]: I also like Caleb Proctor, just not necessarily with Sabian Jones.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_03]: On the roster, it's like you're almost going to give up on a player, you just took it with a third round pick that you traded up for last year.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_03]: Rardon, Roush, I'm fine with you with one of those guys at Titan right now.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_05]: Eric, do you have any thoughts?
- 42:44[SPEAKER_05]: So we have a number of Titans that we like as there's somebody that sticks out.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_05]: We had this exact same conversation Monday morning.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_05]: And we went with Takario Davis first because there was a number of Titans that we still liked.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I am, I'm a big cardio Davis fan, especially for what Denver Duns.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's a cover three prototype and whether you trade Moss and McMillan or not, you either both on one-year deals and it's unlike you're able to keep both of them and prop seems very unlikely you're going to keep even one of them because just the way the finances are and you know what the ownership happened, bone X is contract buying 40% of the Rockies.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_02]: They may not have the funds to really put in there and work the contracts around.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_02]: I would be also be fine going with Eli Rareden.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: I like Sam Roush, but the lack of a catch radius isn't something that can be improved because he just got set for runs and then drops there such an issue.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: Only projected draft to Titan that has a worse drop rate than he does as Michael Trig.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_02]: So it's tough.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't mind going weird in and possibly getting one of the blocking tight ends later.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: Like maybe I doubt it, but move Nick or creature falls to 170 or, you know, not nearly as a letter to the thing.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: But kids will win as a very good block or DJ Roger's attitude to you.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: There's some later blocking options there, but I wouldn't mind rared in our, or to Cario Davis here, and I'd be fine with Sam rush as well.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_05]: Man, we're kind of at a consensus.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just going to need a name from everybody here.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_05]: So Carl, we'll just go straight down name.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_05]: Who is it?
- 44:14[SPEAKER_04]: I'll go rarited.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's the guy I actually like the most of the titans.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_05]: All right, rarited for him, Lance.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'll go rared in as well.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's some inline versatility.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_03]: You can line them up in the back fill as an age fact.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: You can like I think as best role as a split out, like a big slot player early and you work on developing that blocking prowess.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_03]: So rared in as probably the guy would go here as well.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_05]: All right, and Eric rared in.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: We're still at one o'clock, right?
- 44:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, we're going to go quick though.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_05]: It's okay.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_05]: We're good.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot months.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say it's like we could even have the conversation of because of what type of Titans they are of Rared and and Roush at these two things.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: But I'd go Rared and here.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I mean, gosh, that's one of my guys in this class.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm not going to face too hard.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_05]: The one thing that we do have to say.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_05]: medicals for him.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously production has not been high, but medicals are big for him.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_05]: Also, he's from the state of Iowa, didn't choose to go to the University of Iowa.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_05]: So like decision-making, maybe not the bad thing he's the legacy at noted decision-making is an all-time high.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_06]: That's a type of
- 45:21[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, all right, we'll move forward here.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_05]: We're on the clock again.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_05]: We gotta go a little quicker here.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_05]: We still got to Kario Davis as an option.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_05]: For Sean Benny, I know Eric mentioned the injuries with him as well.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_05]: Heck, I mean, gosh, we could go tight in again, as you mentioned.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's something that teams do all the time.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_05]: Fourth round, you want to, I mean, Nate Atkins, God bless you.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_05]: Good luck.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_05]: Where is it?
- 45:43[SPEAKER_05]: Carl?
- 45:44[SPEAKER_05]: Good luck.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_05]: Wherever you're at, good luck.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_05]: Whoever wants to go on the practice squad or sign bills, where just to move it along here, we're gonna definitely move it along in the next few ones here.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_05]: Lance, anybody who stands out here?
- 45:54[SPEAKER_05]: I can check positions two weeks.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_05]: It's the same guys.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_05]: Got to car our Davis is interesting.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_05]: Haven't gone defensive line yet.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_05]: Proctors there, Benny, definitely interesting.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_05]: Linebacker, I mean.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_03]: We talk edge players are available.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_03]: There's an edge player I like in this particular range, at least on my board, but I'm not sure how this simulator works out.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's gone by now.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_03]: This is aization on bar on the edge from Michigan as a player.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_03]: I really like here.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'd do like to carve a Davis a lot.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_03]: He's a little bit stiff in terms of like turn and run.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_03]: I think his teammate Ephesians Prysock is a little bit better in that aspect, but you want to talk about long.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: That's a that's a player here and if we're going to move on from Riley Moss to Cardio Davis is definitely an option there now Carl kick it to you what do you think Hey, sorry I'm trying to get my mic worked on here so give me a second you get okay I keep talking Carl Is it working okay now
- 46:52[SPEAKER_05]: I think I can maybe turn you down a little bit.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_05]: I don't, we're messing with that, but I think you're better.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_05]: Keep going.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, okay, well, hopefully then we're fine.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_04]: We had this problem last year.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why in Valdraft, my mic just gets as excited as I do, I guess, is what happens.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_04]: And so sorry, I, like I said, I liked Caleb Proctor for the defensive line.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_04]: There's a couple linebackers that I wouldn't have minded here at this picky there.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_04]: a little bit early for a couple of them.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_04]: I think we could probably wait till 5th round for that position.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm trying to think of some other names here that I really do enjoy.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_05]: Corly onus fun.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_05]: There's a big money back to get both of them from Penn State still available.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_04]: I, and that probably would be the direction I would go.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_04]: I'm talking, K-tron.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'd probably, I think I would lean towards K-tron.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_04]: I singleton, he's just so hit and miss.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_04]: We already got a runny back like that.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_04]: Now, he's got the higher ceiling because of the athleticism, but Ketron Allen just being that good all-around third running back for us, and a guy that can help in red zone situations, goal line situations, I would probably lean towards him.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Eric, you're pondering.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_05]: You look like very, very pensive right now off in the distance, where you think, what do you think in where you lean is?
- 48:17[SPEAKER_05]: It's Cario Davis.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: No, I mean, I said it.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: I would have that conversation about Sam Roushier.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: He is the better in mind blocking tight end for you, even though he has those questions about his length.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_02]: And I see a lot of people talking about delping the chat with the medical issues with him that I have just been growing.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not looking his way like he can he can be great, but there's just so much going around negatively about the medicals.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_02]: I would go Sam Roush, I would double up on tight end because that is it was the weakest tight end room in the NFL last year and it didn't
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: And like you have a guy on the final year of your deal.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_02]: I've Adam Trottman who stinks on an expensive deal.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_02]: And you have Lucas Kroll, Nate Atkins, and oh, maybe Caleb Loaner, like I double up on Titans.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'd go Sam Roush.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_05]: All right, I'm Lena Sam Roush too here.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_05]: The athlete, they're different players.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_05]: I don't love.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: Raiden, he's got some real, like the profile.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_05]: And I think the blocking potentials higher than Raus' inline, but he's not quite there or Rausch getting the length as a problem, but playing like Brennan's strange.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, the, when you're using him as a weapon, like that with the athleticism, I'm fine with it.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_05]: And double dip in it tight end.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_05]: Did the Broncos, any Broncos historians on the chat?
- 49:31[SPEAKER_05]: Did the Broncos double dip?
- 49:32[SPEAKER_05]: When they took Virgil Green and Julius Thomas was at in the same class, too.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, it was.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, let's let's let's let's copy history here with these two go ahead, Carl.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_04]: I was going to say they've done it with wide receiver to Jerry Judy and then Hamlin Hamler sorry, and that was first and second round pick and that draft.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_04]: So taking two tight ends in the fourth round when you feel good about him and like I said, If there's any room that you can vastly improve through the draft
- 50:03[SPEAKER_04]: it would be the tight end room.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_04]: And even with fourth round pick kind of guys because that's how bad they were last year with those players.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_04]: So I would love to see that kind of competition where it's hey, to rookies coming in, veterans, you got to earn it to make this roster this year.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_04]: And even troutman, hey, you could move down this depth chart very quickly if these two rookies figure something out.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you're right.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_05]: You're right.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_05]: So we're on the board here.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_05]: Again, we've taken after a trade down Kale and Rutledge.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_05]: And then we took two tight ends round four going to the library and out of Notre Dame and Sam Rausch out of Stanford.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_05]: Lances at time that we look at defense or we still think I'm off into your running backs.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously on the board.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: We like black what do we think I got my guy right here.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_03]: Klawn black out at Indiana.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_03]: You want to talk about again, like.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_03]: bringing another consistent player in terms of just being consistently able to get three or four or five yards in between the tackles.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_03]: What are the running backs you got here?
- 51:02[SPEAKER_03]: So that's pretty good.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_03]: As we do, yeah, price actually as well.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, I clicked all the defense bots because I'm starting to get a little twitchy with a lack of defense.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_03]: Jemari Taylor is interesting as an explosive player to add to this room.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that necessarily want to do that right here But the K-Lon black is probably where I go click on all really fast.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just gonna look at the board and see this is why I didn't want to Entitend.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_03]: I was gonna say this is why I didn't necessarily want to go with Roush at that particular point because my guy Nate Borkertures right there available.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean
- 51:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's a better player than Rausch quite honestly because there's I've been pounding this table on this particular opinion with Eric for a while now just because you didn't see him be used as an accentuated white like an accentuated receiving tight end in that offense doesn't mean that he can't do that it's one of the biggest fatal flaws that you'll have this scout is to not like say well I didn't see him do it that means he can't no just because he hasn't done it doesn't mean that he can't.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_03]: That's the biggest thing here, and I think that with the athleticism that barriculture brings and also the physicality He brings as a blocker the first utility brings out of the backfield as well like I would much rather sit just a little bit and then go for more Culture a little bit later.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's fine.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_03]: No, we're here.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so Tide end off the bowing.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's all tightens here.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm crazy, right?
- 52:16[SPEAKER_03]: But they're so good for the level So running back into your defensive line would be interesting to take a look at as well
- 52:23[SPEAKER_03]: land in Robinson from Navy.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: This might be a little rich for him, especially for after the Jordan Manningburg Jordan Manningburg.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_03]: Um, about linebacker.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't seen Redbird Murdoch, but I've heard a lot that there's a lot of people that really like him a lot.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_03]: A visitor Fitzgerald know was news he would be interesting here for the safety room.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: I think I'm going to stick with my guy here in K-Lon Black just because at the running back position you need to add another body there.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that he accentuates what you already have well with JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_03]: It gets you another guy that can play with between the tackles I would be the way that I would go here.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Carl, any thoughts we're going to start to pick up the pace here.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_05]: We got some 7th rounders to go with that typically goes a little faster But I hear the hopefully you don't hear the kid screaming the background.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't want to go to bed.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_04]: He wants to keep listening to dad talk about draft Red Murdock is very tempting here.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, we are talking about
- 53:19[SPEAKER_04]: He had himself a heck of a season less last year.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I get it's Buffalo, but at the same time, if there's a position Buffalo knows how to produce, seems like line-backer edge, seems to come out pretty well for them.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_04]: And so I, he would be one I'd definitely consider at this point.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_04]: Caleb Black, I do like him for the running-back room, as a pretty good all-around guy.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_04]: I like Moss, but more seven-thround pick if he's still there.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_04]: He's kind of a little fan favorite of mine to go for the running-back room.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_04]: Defensive line would definitely be intriguing as kind of a projection guy that you can build up and there's a couple of nice athletic guys, but I guess just guy that I think could actually make it impact on the team this year probably black.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Eric, you know, I remember that's talking during the senior bowl, like Black a good bit, like waiting him.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_05]: I think also Oregon kind of another guy going to meet Grindr probably seventh round.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_05]: And then my Washington was the other one and he rocketed up obviously, but to do like Black 2.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I know it's all offense, which hurts me, but he's somebody who can come in and eat carries.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_05]: And I think, you know, run hard.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I wanted to push for Ephesians price arc.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_02]: Get that developmental corner in here.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_02]: One, we've gone three, because I get a picks on offense and tight ends.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's still there, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get that run on tight ends in the fourth round.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: In the actual draft.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_02]: Red, more of this to price.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, Eric, I missed a price arc with available.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_03]: I would go price arc over black here.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like quite honestly, I would go price arc way over black here.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think about that by that.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_05]: They love masses.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a big fan of masses, not for what Denver runs in particular.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: If it was still kind of that Fangeel Esk, defensive scheme coverage scheme, I'd be more for it.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: Price talk would be it, but we can go black because that was that's.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do run.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_05]: Lance just changes pick and that's to and I'm fine with it and also.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_05]: Shane and give the 99 99 super chance.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, you must price up.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_05]: So.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was one of the best names to say in this draft.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: So he'd be like number one overall pick and name in the name draft, right?
- 55:30[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_05]: We're moving at moving and grooving.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_05]: Shout out to my wife who's putting down a screaming kid.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_05]: I have no idea what's going on in the room next to her.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm going to pretend I don't hear it.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_05]: Shout out to you, babe.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_05]: Love you so much.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_05]: We got Kamara coming in here.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_05]: We got some quarterbacks tail and green as well.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, everything's on the table.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_05]: Hutchins didn't do it.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_05]: We'd hoped.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_05]: Honestly, the two that stick out here for me, and we'll go to Carl Quake, but Aaron Anderson, Widersever, and then Bryson Eason also makes some sense here a penetrating defense attack on then also Jimmy Rolder from Michigan, another one who sticks out.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_05]: We haven't gone running back at him Randall, but I think leaning defense here.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_05]: Jimmy Rolder, Bryson Eason, or Widersever, seventh round, whatever, Aaron Anderson.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_04]: he's tiny.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_04]: So, I mean, I guess you got a factor that in a little bit, but at this point, it's seventh round.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_04]: If you can get yourself an athlete and hope that they can develop into something, it's fine.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_04]: I, I probably lean toward Eason at this point.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, just helping that deep and spline get in somebody, another body in there, just,
- 56:39[SPEAKER_04]: Throw as many players as you can and just hope that couple of more out just because that room starting to get expensive you're going to have to have a couple younger guy step and up here soon side probably in that way.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_05]: All right, what do you think Eric.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_02]: Can you go to defensive line specifically real quick.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_05]: you got your guy from Illinois that you like.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so my three choices for the next three picks that I'd be looking at would be James Thompson Jr. out of Illinois Adam Randall and then I forgot I just forgot to name it was just there.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Scroll down just a little bit.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_02]: It was Jimmy Roller.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy Roller.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy Roller was the other one.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: I like Roller.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_02]: Those would be my three Adam Randall Jimmy Roller and then James Thompson.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Lance, what do you think?
- 57:32[SPEAKER_03]: Jimmy Rolder all day.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_03]: I loved watching that Michigan tape with him.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_03]: Jason Barron, Derek Moore, Ration Benny, Jimmy Rolder, watching all four of those guys in the way that they worked in front of 70 together was just so much fun.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_03]: Man, I rolled her, I think that just by being a one-year starter, he's got starting outside.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_03]: I think that he could be, if he puts on a little bit more weight, he could be an actual NFL starter in terms of coverage player, he can come downhill like, I love that kid.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, a lot.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: Who are Bernard, I was just about to say that you've there.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_05]: What what what what what team position defense of mine.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_03]: no team.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: No position.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_02]: He's a little bit below James Thompson.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, this is, uh, the Nigerian guy.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_05]: What if I just forget in reaching an Aaron Graves here?
- 58:19[SPEAKER_05]: Just and then kick you all out of the chat.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: I would fly today.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_02]: The Iowa fights.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_03]: One mind reaching if you didn't already have Marvin Mims, but I'm cool with that.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, are they going to pay them after
- 58:37[SPEAKER_05]: Um, add a manuals to available.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_05]: I think we should take out a manual for one of them.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_05]: Um, just here.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_05]: Just get another running back in the room.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_05]: And then we're sitting here again.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_05]: Um, anything is available.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, we haven't taken a quarter back yet.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_05]: It's always interesting.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_05]: Grounds have been could add more edge.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_05]: I'm always looking special teams that's far down as well.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_05]: Or just, you know,
- 59:00[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, I got more you.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_03]: Jay Michael stirred it in, delighted to see you're out of Florida.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_03]: You wanna talk about another straight line speed guy, but I think he's a little bit bigger of a body too.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's been a minutes since I watched Florida tape, but straight line speed guy, you wanna add another player in that kind of mold, especially if you're gonna move on from Troy Franklin.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_03]: Here's soon, I mean, why not?
- 59:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like to just add more speed to that room that would work for me.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_05]: Definitely interesting in all of that.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_05]: This is going to be a practice squad guy more likely than not, so is there a player that, especially these having back-to-back picks, maybe you're taking people that you don't already have deals in place with, so it might not be, you might have an undraft of reagent, you're like more, that you aren't going to get, unless you draft them.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_05]: So again, Eric, I'll kick it over to you.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_05]: I know that you, Lance, you and Lance do the deepest work on this team.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_05]: Lance toss out of
- 59:58[SPEAKER_02]: I want to go to our Bernard, and part of that reason is because last year the Denver Broncos they took Caleb Loner with 57 snaps, played in college football, why not take Guy who as a freak athlete, somewhere to Caleb Loner who was considered a freak athlete, and do the same thing and just try to bet on him developing.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he is a guy that's going to that a lot of people are saying he's going to be very coveted as an undrafted for agent may not be able to land him.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_02]: So make a Mr. relevant, secure him, get him in town and see what your defensive line coaches can do.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_02]: Who have done a pretty good day in good job of developing defensive line Miracleized for years.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_03]: Well, and to piggyback off of that, Eric, when when he was going through the International Players program, the defensive line coach that he was training with when he was like training for
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_03]: that combat event essentially said that he'd been working with him for like three weeks in the improvement that he showed just in that three weeks of training was like he's easily coachable.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_03]: He's easily like developable.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_03]: Bed on the traits man.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_03]: He's six foot what four three hundred and six or three and ten pounds.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like that has a 43 and a half inch vertical.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think around a four six eight 40 like that.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_03]: Do you want to bet on traits bet on tools like that.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_03]: This is them.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's a guy that you want to do that with it with this development relative pick.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_05]: So we go Bernard, you can see the draft up there.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_05]: Albert, I think came in late, but we had like a five minute seven minute conversation about offensive tackle and why it's kind of hard to bet on it, picking 62.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if you look at the Pro Bowl offensive tackles the last 10 years, how many were not top 25 picks.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_05]: I think it has the highest rate of a first round pick leading Pro Bowl or like the top contracts as well.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_05]: We talked about it on Monday morning, Eric.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_05]: It's one of the easiest, scoutable positions because there's such specific traits and athleticism threshold and the guys who have them get gobbled up very fast.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_05]: It's not like linebacker safety, tight end where it's like a lot of these guys have this body type in the world and you know can move good and not be good football players.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm with the Albert I'd love an offensive tackle, especially because lynchies get nothing or bowls getting up there, but
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_05]: is an offensive tackle with Mr. or Elvent or the pick before doing anything for you here, especially he's competing with, you know, Chrome at that point, which you'll find, but not going to be pigeonholed on a position.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_05]: So there we go, guys.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_05]: We traded down, we got a future third, getting Kaylin' RuttLitch, then we take back to back tight ends in the fourth round.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_05]: Like in both, you lay rared in Notre Dame, Sam Rauch, Stanford, getting those non-IV Ivy League schools there for those guys too great, two great programs.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_05]: Then we got Prysock, corner back out of Washington, coming here, getting a little bit more depth.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_05]: Don't worry guys, we waited until the fifth round, you don't gotta get upset.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_05]: Seventh round, Jimmy Rolder, Michigan linebacker, then the last two picks, the entire draft.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_05]: Adam Randall C++ and UR Bernard from Nigeria.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_05]: Defends the tackle.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see you in two years buddy.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_05]: Put you in the tank and let you firm it and grow.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_05]: Fun time guys.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_05]: I mean we hit it pretty much right on time as well.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_05]: Didn't think we took too long or anything.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_05]: A good flow, chat, great as well.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_05]: Give you 60 seconds here, 30 seconds Carl final thoughts.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm shocked that they gave Rutledge a B grade, just the idea that he's there at 68 and getting that kind of value is funny.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_04]: But, and then, given both of our titans, A minus grades, haven't backed back to titans, but I do.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_04]: I like that.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_04]: You've got,
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_04]: Rutlitch that could start this year, two tight ends that could make an actual impact this year, and then some special teams, guys.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_04]: So I think this is an actual draft where even as hard as it is to find guys that can make an impact on the team, I think we actually did that.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_04]: Or at 2026, they're gonna not be huge impact, guys.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_04]: Rutlitch, maybe.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_04]: But at least do something for this team, not just be storm for a year, hope that they grow kind of thing.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_04]: And I love the trade, getting that future third round pick in 2027.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_04]: That is huge to add to this team.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_04]: And so yeah, I like it overall.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_04]: I really do think we did a great job.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_04]: And Jimmy Roller and the seventh round, one of my favorites.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody coming in and saying hello, Lance, quick thoughts before we wrap it up.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_03]: Well, again, I mentioned this earlier talking about Keelen Rutledge and how the Broncos and Sean Peyton George Peyton at their pre-dracked interview saying they want to bet on traits.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_03]: They want to bet on players that have athletic traits and that's kind of how they want to continue to build out this team.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_03]: killing relish, hell of an athlete, Eli Radon, hell of an athlete, Sam Rouse, hell of an athlete, Ephesians Priceok, height, length, speed, hell of an athlete, Jimmy Rolder, a fantastic athlete, Adam Randall having seen yet, so let me hold my comments on that, but who are Bernard, height, weight, speed, physicality, athleticism, and, like,
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_03]: You've nailed everything that the Broncos wanted in terms of how they are kind of viewing this draft class.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_03]: Eric and I talked about this the other night when we were talking about this six guys that the Broncos had at number 62 overall.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_03]: Like, these are the guys that you're looking for.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_03]: every single one of these picks makes sense, especially given that they don't have to be impact players even though they can be the tight ends.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think they can be.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_03]: I think price ought can be depending on what you do with with Riley Moss on the outside, what you do with Jada Barron.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_03]: Roller adds an athlete to your team.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_03]: You can be a special team's player.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_03]: You can play on the defense right away.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_03]: This is a solid rock solid draft V plus.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'll accept it.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_03]: nailing down what the Broncos have said they wanted to do in this draft class.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think we pretty much nailed it, guys.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_05]: I like it a lot, Eric.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_05]: Final thoughts.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got, I got going so I'm going to say my farewells as well here at the end of this.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, with this, you got a possible starter and killing relative this year.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_02]: Guys who can contribute and rared in a rash kind of as Carlos saying but the thing is is George Peyton and Sean Peyton have we'll talk about it.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_02]: three-year window for the NFL draft.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_02]: Killing Rutledge should be a starter within three years.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_02]: Eli Radon and Sam Roush, you're ideally looking at them at replacing Adam Trottman after two years and Evan Ingram after this year.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_02]: These years price off, you hope you can develop and do a possible starter next year when you're, it seems unlike you, you're going to be able to retain Riley Moss.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy Rolldler, you're looking at developing within the next couple of years to be a starter Dotheraud.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_02]: As they're going to happen, probably not.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of these guys are there.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_02]: Adam Randall can even come in and give you a little bit of an impact.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_02]: because of what he can do as a receiver out of the back field and then who are Bernard just to complete development the guy would be an international player so he wouldn't even count against the 90 man roster once he signed.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_02]: So you get be able to be able to have 91 players and then on the practice squad which he would likely end up at.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_02]: He wouldn't count against the practice squad either, which would give Denver a 17th player on the practice squad, which is some defector.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_02]: But I do have to run, I want to say thank you, Carl and Nick, we're having us on and didn't run table, thank you to everybody in the chat.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, before we get out here, if you guys are struggling mentally, please reach out to somebody.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_02]: My Twitter is, you can reach out to me on Twitter, email, whatever it needs be, just know that if you are struggling mentally, you are loved and you are cared for.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_02]: And there is a place for you in this world.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_02]: So please reach out to somebody.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_02]: And with that everyone have a good night and of course go Broncos.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, thanks Eric.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_05]: My final thoughts here because I got to go help with the screaming kid.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_05]: Love the Plicks, love the players.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_05]: I love that trade back in that third-ground pick.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_05]: They're in 2027.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_05]: Why do I love that so much?
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_05]: It's not only you're giving yourself one next to your two next year, three next year, another three next year, four or four, five, six, two, sevens.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_05]: You also got a seven for the Devon Bay Lay trade in 2027.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's great for the draft.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_05]: Next season, love that more picks, more flexibility.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_05]: You also have ammo to make a mid-season trade.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_05]: You know, let's say JK Dobbins gets hurt.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_05]: Breeze Hall, come on down, buddy.
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_05]: We love you.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_05]: With tight ends not working out, let's do it.
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_05]: You want another pass for us?
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_05]: You want a linebacker?
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_05]: You have two, three's and two, four's.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_05]: You got flexibility.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_05]: You got ammo?
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_05]: You can be aggressive.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_05]: We're not done.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_05]: So thanks everybody for coming in here.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate that.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of fun.

- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_05]: That was great.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_05]: I want to appreciate your Shannon.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_05]: That's amazing.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_05]: That's Eric left.
