  Odds logic. Now, I teased at the beginning

  of the outset of the pod, what is a live odds page?
• 4:37
  What is a odds screen? What is the board?
• 4:40
  Now a lot of people confuse this little bit like live odds.
• 4:43
  They think it's just like you don't, you know, when you go to
• 4:45
  a sports book on your app and you see all the odds and
• 4:48
  sometimes they move all that's quote UN quote live odds, right?
• 4:51
  No, live odds are different. Live Odds are a specific sports
• 4:55
  betting platform and software that is basically your sports
• 4:58
  betting Bible because back in the day when you bet on sports,
• 5:01
  and I'm not talking back in the day 10 years ago, I'm talking
• 5:04
  like 30-40, fifty, 100 years ago, the only place you could
• 5:08
  get odds would be in a newspaper.
• 5:10
  And of course, newspaper gets printed overnight, gets
• 5:13
  delivered to your door at 6:00 AM.
• 5:14
  You might read it at 10:00 in the morning.
• 5:16
  All the lines have moved. So it used to be just static
• 5:19
  odds. You never got much insight into
• 5:21
  it. But then Live odds really
• 5:23
  started to pop up. I would say early 1990s.

  That's really when the Internet changed everything and instead
• 5:29
  of having a look in the newspaper, you're able to now
• 5:31
  accumulate or combine all the odds from all the different
• 5:34
  books and put in one place. So the live odds page is
• 5:37
  basically, if you are someone who likes to dabble in the stock
• 5:40
  market, it's kind of like an E*Trade account.
• 5:42
  But in in terms of sports betting, it's the finger on the
• 5:45
  pulse. It's your Bible of monitoring
• 5:48
  the sports betting market. Now this is big for any kind of
• 5:51
  better, new, better intermediate advanced, even the wise guys,
• 5:55
  you know, shopping for the best line, you know, having a finger
• 5:58
  on the pulse of what the market is doing, how it's moving,
• 6:01
  monitoring juice, predicting the next move line shopping.
• 6:04
  All is available to you only if you have a live odds page.
• 6:08
  So the live odds page it'll show you every single game to bet
• 6:12
  that day from all the different sports.
• 6:14
  It'll also show you the Vegas ID or rotation numbers, the NSS
• 6:18
  numbers, the start times. Once the games get going, it'll
• 6:21
  give you the live scoring and the live lines halftime give you
• 6:24
  the halftime odds. This is basically you know
• 6:27
  basically your lifeblood. You know, if you bet on sports
• 6:30
  and you don't have a live odds page, you're basically swimming
• 6:33
  blind up the river without a paddle.
• 6:36
  So with that being said, there are a lot of live odds pages out
• 6:40
  there and I call it a live odds page.

  Some people call it the the odds screen, the board.

  They're different terminology or terms for it, but it basically
• 6:47
  is all the same. Now couple things I want to
• 6:50
  mention. There are a lot of options out
• 6:51
  there. One thing is that not all of
• 6:53
  them are in real time. So some might be a little bit
• 6:55
  delayed and you know, in the operate in the in the market
• 6:58
  that we operate in, you got to be real time.

  You got to see as soon as a book moves, does it get lit up in
• 7:03
  red? Can you track the line movement?
• 7:05
  Can you pull up the line history?
• 7:07
  These are all critical elements of having a live odds page.
• 7:10
  Now some of them are free. Most of them you got to pay for
• 7:12
  though, and the prices can range all across.
• 7:16
  You know, the spectrum here. Like there are some platforms
• 7:18
  live odds page pages cost 200 three, 104 hundred $500.
• 7:23
  I mean they can get really, really expensive.
• 7:25
  So with that being said, you know, I was born and raised with
• 7:30
  a live odds page as I was growing up, you know, learning,
• 7:33
  learning sports betting inside, not when I used to work at
• 7:35
  Sports Insights. And I'm thinking to myself, OK,
• 7:38
  there used to be Don Best, which was the big one, which was
• 7:40
  always very, very expensive. It was a good product, but
• 7:42
  really unaffordable. Nowadays, there are a bunch of
• 7:45
  different options. I'm not going to give you all of
• 7:47
  them. You can Google them, you can
• 7:48
  research them. You can do a little bit of that
• 7:50
  on their own, on your own. But I would say if you're
• 7:53
  serious about sports betting, and I think if you're listening
• 7:55
  to my voice, you listen to this pod, you are serious.

  Does it mean you're professional better?
• 7:59
  No, probably not. But you want to win.

  And the best way to ensure that you win is following the market
• 8:06
  in real time, seeing where, which direction the lines
• 8:09
  getting juiced up, how it's moving.

  I can't explain to you how important it is having just that
• 8:13
  opening column, which is the static opening number.
• 8:15
  Then all the books to the right of it are the current numbers.
• 8:18
  You can immediately see which direction the line is moving.
• 8:20
  So this is critical data and anyone who doesn't have a live
• 8:23
  odds page, man, it's just very difficult to win because you
• 8:26
  just have no context into what a line open at how it moved, which
• 8:30
  direction the market is moving. So you got to have a live odds
• 8:33
  page. Again, they're very expensive.
• 8:35
  There's a lot of options out there.
• 8:36
  But I stumbled upon odds logic. I had seen a tweet randomly
• 8:40
  about it and then I reached out as I was looking to partner up
• 8:46
  with more, more websites or you know, kind of like rhythm and
• 8:49
  juice field to help power the podcast.

  And I, I reached out and said, Hey, I kind of like your

  product. The one thing that jumped out to

  me is that it was just very clean and clear.

  to get because not all live odds software can can get access to

  it. FanDuel, DraftKings, Superbook

  out in Vegas, bet MGM, Caesar's fanatics, ESPN bet bet River,

  South Point Heritage, Buckeye bet online.

  I mean, you keep cruising there a ton of books, Jazz offshores,
• 9:39
  which again, I would stick to the sharp books here, the legal
• 9:44
  books. But anyway, point being is they
• 9:46
  have all the different books. The fact they have Pinnacle and
• 9:48
  Circle is huge because those are market setters.
• 9:51
  It the screen is very clean, very easy to read.
• 9:54
  It monitors and it updates in in real time.

  You can click on a sports book, pull up the live odds history so
• 10:00
  you can look at all the moves in between.

  It gives you public and sharp bet splits.

  So I was pretty impressed. I said, hey, and then I look at

  their Twitter account. They have like 900 followers and
• 10:08
  I'm like, you know what, what's going on here?

  This seems like a really good product, but it's very unknown.

  So I reached out. I got connected with Rick Alec,

  who, little did I know, you know, used to work in some of

  the same. We used to run in the same

  circles that I used to run with some people come people that we

  both knew who, who were in the live odds industry, I should

  say. And I reached out and I said,

  But anyway, let's set the stage, talk some data and I'll give you

  my play here. So Jacksonville comes in 16 and

  10 on the year. However, they did did just see

  their three-game win streak come to an end.

  They lost to North Alabama 92 to 79 did not cover as a four and a
• 14:07
  half point Rd. dog. Meanwhile, Florida Gulf Coast 14

  and 13 on the year, but they've struggled a bit.

  They've lost three of their last four just fell to Lipscomb 82 to
• 14:17
  68 did not cover as a 7 1/2 point Rd. dog.

  So what have we seen across the market?

  Well, this game open Florida Gulf Coast as a -, 2 1/2

  favorite at home. And I mentioned it's an added

  game, extra game. So we lean online movement and
• 14:31
  these added extra games because they're extremely low bet public
• 14:34
  doesn't care about them. But wise guys, if they're
• 14:36
  hitting it, they're moving a number because they feel like
• 14:39
  they have an edge based on their projections compared to what the
• 14:42
  the odds are showing. So this open Florida Gulf Coast
• 14:45
  -2 1/2, it's now been bet up Florida Gulf Coast -3 some books
• 14:49
  even up to 3 1/2 throughout the morning.

  So we can deduce that pro money has sided with Florida Gulf
• 14:55
  Coast. Now DraftKings Florida Gulf
• 14:57
  Coast has a pretty good bet split.
• 14:59
  Only 58% of spread bets, but nearly 70% of spread dollars.

  So good low bets, higher dollar split in favor of the Eagles.

  Now, Ken Palm has Florida Gulf Coast winning by two points, so

  you guys know the drill. I ain't laying a three 3 1/2

  here. They win by 1-2 or three and I

  push or lose. So I money lined Florida Gulf

  Coast, I got them at around -160 And if you look at Florida Gulf

  Coast in particular, couple of advantages here, better

  offensive efficiency, 149th in the country versus 240th for

  Jacksonville, better effective field goal percentage, 54%

  versus 51%. And they take better care of the

  ball. They rank one O 5 in the country

  and turnovers, you'll get Jacksonville.

  They're one of the worst at turning it over 322 in the

  country. Eagles also better at limiting

  their opponents in terms of offensive rebounds.

  They ranked 58th versus You'll get Jacksonville.

  They're ranked 225th. They give up quite a few

  offensive boards, so Jacksonville's 1/3 of 4.

  Gulf Coast has lost three of four, yet the lines moving to

  the team that is playing worse or however you want to call it

  not hasn't played as well recently.

  That seems like a fishy sharp play in an obscure sharp line

  and 15 on the year, but they have won three straight.

  They're playing pretty well. They just took down Eastern

  Illinois 72 to 68 covering as a 2 1/2 point Rd. favorite.

  So what have you seen across the market here?

  Well, even though this is a not an added game extra game game,

  this is game six 33634. It's still a very low back game

  and yet we're seeing a very sharp move.

  So this game open, Tennessee Martin listed as a 2 point home

  favorite. Tennessee Martin is now up to -2

  1/2 and they're juiced up -2 1/2 looking like they're even going
• 17:23
  to three. A couple books are actually at
• 17:25
  3. So pretty clear that pros have
• 17:27
  sided with Tennessee Martin or UT Martin, however you want to
• 17:30
  call them. Now if you'll get DraftKings,
• 17:32
  Tennessee Martin is getting 55% of spread bets, but nearly 80%
• 17:37
  of spread dollars. So good low bets, higher dollar
• 17:39
  split in their favor. Now Ken Palm has Tennessee
• 17:42
  Martin only winning by 1, so I'm not going to lay a 2 1/2 or
• 17:45
  three at this point. There's another money line for

  me. You can get UT Martin around
• 17:49
  -150 and a couple things that I'll be banking on.

  UT Martin has the better free throw percentage.

  Could be huge in a tight game, 71% versus 68%.

  They take better care of the ball, even though they don't

  rank very well. Three, 19th in the country.

  Tennessee State is even worse. They ranked 352nd Skyhawks, UT

  Martin, Skyhawks. They're also more proficient at
