- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, Welcome back to the Give Them La La Podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I am here with one of my most favorite housewives
- 0:12Speaker 1: and the longest standing housewife of all time, Tamara Judge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Oh thank you. That was quite an introduction.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Well, you know that we have a we have a
- 0:22Speaker 1: friendship that goes beyond the show. And I know how
- 0:24Speaker 1: the sausage is made. So I'm a fanatic when it
- 0:28Speaker 1: comes to housewives, but I think I watch it through
- 0:30Speaker 1: a different lens.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh for sure. And we're birthday twins.
- 0:34Speaker 1: So we both have September, so we have that.
- 0:36Speaker 2: We have that mine September second. Oh yeah, where you
- 0:40Speaker 2: know we were talking, but we're psycho.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I wear that with pride. So why you'll never be
- 0:47Speaker 1: confused on how I feel that.
- 0:50Speaker 2: That's what I always say. You always know what I'm thinking.
- 0:53Speaker 2: You know what I don't like. I don't like somebody
- 0:56Speaker 2: that's nice to my face and the talk shit behind
- 0:58Speaker 2: my back or in their confession.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Right. And you know what's wild to me is we
- 1:04Speaker 1: know we're being recorded, we're being filmed, and you know
- 1:07Speaker 1: we're going to do a confessional. So if I'm going
- 1:10Speaker 1: to say something that I know I'm going to say
- 1:11Speaker 1: in my confessional.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'd rather just say it to your face now, right, No,
- 1:16Speaker 2: I agree with that one hundred percent.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Get it over with I have.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I think it's chicken shit when somebody goes and talks
- 1:22Speaker 2: in their confessionals about people, but you can't do it
- 1:24Speaker 2: in their face.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Who would you say is the biggest culprit of doing that?
- 1:29Speaker 1: On this season of Housewives.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Well so far this season. You know, I'm really hurt
- 1:34Speaker 2: by Gina and Emily because I truly thought that they
- 1:38Speaker 2: were my friends and to hear them say the things
- 1:43Speaker 2: they've said, knowing what I'm going through at that time.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I mean, Emily had even said to me, geez, if
- 1:50Speaker 2: this was happening to my best friend. You know, Gina,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I don't know how I would be able to film
- 1:55Speaker 2: this show, but knowing that and still coming for me
- 1:59Speaker 2: in saying things, and to me, it's just hurtful and
- 2:03Speaker 2: it makes me think like they really don't care about me,
- 2:05Speaker 2: or they're really more interested in making good TV.
- 2:09Speaker 1: When I'm watching I We've known that Teddy has been
- 2:14Speaker 1: sick for quite a while now, and when I heard
- 2:16Speaker 1: that you were going to go in and film this show,
- 2:19Speaker 1: my heart broke for you because I don't think any
- 2:22Speaker 1: of us are equipped to handle when someone like a Teddy,
- 2:28Speaker 1: our best friend, you don't know. It's the unknown. And
- 2:32Speaker 1: I remember going into season seven and granted my dad
- 2:36Speaker 1: had died, and I know that I know that I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: a nut. I know that I go off and I
- 2:42Speaker 1: can act crazy. But let's focus on what's at hand
- 2:46Speaker 1: right now. I've lost my dad. So just in this
- 2:48Speaker 1: very little moment, don't say, well, you've act crazy without
- 2:51Speaker 1: your dad passing's let's not go there. Let's focus on
- 2:54Speaker 1: the fact that my dad died. Let's focus on the
- 2:56Speaker 1: fact that you don't know what the outcome will be
- 2:59Speaker 1: with your best friend.
- 3:01Speaker 2: MM. Well, here's the thing I people don't understand was,
- 3:06Speaker 2: you know, Teddy's were my good friends, but also she's
- 3:08Speaker 2: my business partner, and we've built this amazing podcast together.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Five days a week. We're you know, we're talking, we're chatting,
- 3:14Speaker 2: we're on the phone, we're on zoom. And now this
- 3:17Speaker 2: is happening. Two weeks into filming it. You know, she
- 3:20Speaker 2: got diagnosed and we had just been in New Orleans
- 3:24Speaker 2: come back, and then I have to hold the podcast
- 3:27Speaker 2: down on my own, bring in a co host. I'm
- 3:30Speaker 2: doing this five days a week, and you know, like
- 3:33Speaker 2: if you're recapping stuff, you have to watch it, you
- 3:35Speaker 2: have to write notes all that stuff. So I would
- 3:39Speaker 2: do that in the morning, go film, come home, watch
- 3:42Speaker 2: the show. Sometimes I have to do two podcasts in
- 3:44Speaker 2: a day, depending on how busy the Bravo schedule is
- 3:47Speaker 2: with Housewives, and then do it all over again. I
- 3:51Speaker 2: wasn't eating, I was in sleeping, I was taking xanax,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I was It was not a good time in my
- 3:55Speaker 2: life period. I won't even watch last week's episode. I've
- 3:58Speaker 2: only seen clips on social media, and for what people
- 4:01Speaker 2: have told me, that's it because I don't want to
- 4:03Speaker 2: relive it.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Well, I don't blame you, and you can just tell
- 4:07Speaker 1: in your eyes that your heart is hurting, right. Was
- 4:11Speaker 1: there a moment before when you found out Teddy was sick.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Was there a moment where you thought, maybe I shouldn't
- 4:17Speaker 1: go back to Housewives this season?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Well, I was already filming, so I didn't really have
- 4:21Speaker 2: much of a choice.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Oh, you had already picked cameras up.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I already, yeah. I was two weeks, I believe two
- 4:27Speaker 2: or three weeks into filming when she was diagnosed, So
- 4:32Speaker 2: I was already in it. So but every time I
- 4:36Speaker 2: got very upset or emotional, my first instinct was to
- 4:39Speaker 2: say I quit, I quit, And I probably did that
- 4:43Speaker 2: three times this year.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Do you think that there when you've said I quit,
- 4:48Speaker 1: I've said I quit a million and one time. So
- 4:51Speaker 1: we're here like, fuck this, it's not worth it.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Have you ever had a real moment where you say,
- 4:58Speaker 1: I really need to evaluate this? Isn't me just throwing? Yeah?
- 5:01Speaker 2: That was that was New Orleans? Yeah?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Really?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Yeah, because I I took xanax that day that night
- 5:09Speaker 2: before we went to dinner, not thinking about the two
- 5:12Speaker 2: drinks I had with Shannon.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So when you walked in and you and she asked
- 5:16Speaker 1: what are you drinking? You had to have known that
- 5:18Speaker 1: that was a see through cup that clearly did not
- 5:21Speaker 1: like what.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I don't even remember. I honestly, I don't remember that scene.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I don't remember going to her hotel room and when
- 5:27Speaker 2: I saw when I saw that, I'm like, oh my god,
- 5:31Speaker 2: it's yellow, it's champagne.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Oh it's Shamps, love of Shamps.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Yeah, So have you had you had a drink with
- 5:41Speaker 1: the xanax before you got to Shannon's room?
- 5:43Speaker 2: So what I did was earlier in the day before,
- 5:46Speaker 2: you know, we I can't remember what we did that day.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Was it the doggie something.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You did like the Yeah, like the parade holding the
- 5:53Speaker 1: photos of your dogs.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I'm remembering off my memory because I didn't watch. I
- 5:57Speaker 2: only saw clips. And then after, like in between the
- 6:01Speaker 2: doggie Pary to the Voodoo and me and Gretchen and
- 6:04Speaker 2: Shannon sitting down, there was a bar there and I
- 6:06Speaker 2: don't know if they showed it, but we were going
- 6:08Speaker 2: in there and getting drinks. Okay, so I had I
- 6:10Speaker 2: was already probably two drinks in right then.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And then from there we went back to the hotel
- 6:17Speaker 2: and we had like an hour to get ready, and
- 6:19Speaker 2: me and Shannon said at the bar and had another
- 6:21Speaker 2: drink okay. Then I went to my room and I
- 6:25Speaker 2: had called Teddy on the phone. She didn't answer. I
- 6:28Speaker 2: left her message. I took the xanax. I was super anxious.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Probably the alcohol didn't help me, and then grab champagne
- 6:36Speaker 2: on the way and went to Shannon's room.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You were going through you your numbing. I'm sure I.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Had a whole prescription of xanax and I was taking it.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I was taken a half a one almost every day
- 6:49Speaker 2: of filming, yeah, up until then. And then when I quit,
- 6:53Speaker 2: I said I can't, Like I went home. I like,
- 6:55Speaker 2: I can't live like this, Like I'm so sad, I'm
- 6:58Speaker 2: so overworked at this point doing everything. And then Alex
- 7:02Speaker 2: called me, Andy called me, and they're like, we know
- 7:05Speaker 2: you're going through a lot. Take a week off, just
- 7:08Speaker 2: try And even Alex said, can you just like not
- 7:10Speaker 2: even do your podcast, go to Big Beer, just relax
- 7:13Speaker 2: and all that stuff. And I'm like, well, I have
- 7:15Speaker 2: to do my podcast, but you know, that's the least
- 7:19Speaker 2: to my issues right now. It's being around these women.
- 7:22Speaker 2: And then I went and saw Teddy and I was
- 7:25Speaker 2: with Teddy and at that point I had no interest
- 7:28Speaker 2: in going back, and Eddie supported me one hundred percent.
- 7:30Speaker 2: It was just not good for me at that moment.
- 7:33Speaker 2: And then I talked to Teddy and she's like, get
- 7:35Speaker 2: your ass back out there. She's really She's like, if
- 7:39Speaker 2: I have to deal with what I'm dealing with right now,
- 7:42Speaker 2: this is a no brainer for you. This is easy,
- 7:44Speaker 2: like just go. And then I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 7:47Speaker 2: she's right, like, you know, stop just stop feeling what
- 7:52Speaker 2: you're feeling and just go and get your job done
- 7:54Speaker 2: and love on your friend when you can.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you got to create the content, babe.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Well, obviously I'm not myself. So now we are talking
- 8:03Speaker 2: about a fatty photo for four episodes when I didn't
- 8:07Speaker 2: even call it a fatty photo.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You know what's wild is looking at that photo. She
- 8:11Speaker 1: definitely does look different, Jen. Yeah, but I mean Gina
- 8:17Speaker 1: is the one that labeled it a fatty photo. And
- 8:19Speaker 1: I'm like, now, she's not even fat in it. I mean,
- 8:22Speaker 1: she's not fat.
- 8:23Speaker 2: She had been coming to my gym. I met her
- 8:25Speaker 2: at my gym. That's how I originally was introduced to her.
- 8:30Speaker 2: She started coming to my gym, she was teaching yoga.
- 8:32Speaker 2: She was not fat. She was heavier than she is now,
- 8:35Speaker 2: but that by no means fat. She's very very thin.
- 8:38Speaker 2: She's got an amazing body right now. She's always had
- 8:40Speaker 2: an amazing body, but now she's very very thin.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And I was more trying to explain to her without
- 8:46Speaker 2: breaking the fourth wall that I feel like she kind
- 8:50Speaker 2: of honed in on me and started going to my
- 8:52Speaker 2: gym and doing all these things and fitness com to
- 8:54Speaker 2: me because she was a janet. Okay, she wanted to
- 8:59Speaker 2: be on the show.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Oh wait, that's interesting. Can we deep dive into that?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Is that how you feel about Janet on the Valley?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Well, that's what everyone says. I don't know. I just
- 9:07Speaker 2: talking about what people say. I don't know exactly, but
- 9:10Speaker 2: that's how I feel. When I feel. When I hear
- 9:13Speaker 2: the other girls talking about it and how it went down,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I'm like, that's exactly how I feel.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Okay, quick pause because we need to talk about something
- 9:22Speaker 1: that is very, very important. This segment is sponsored biden Itza,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and we're reminding you to celebrate responsibly this Labor Day.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Drinking and driving will change your entire world. Whether you
- 9:33Speaker 1: get pulled over or get into a crash, things will
- 9:36Speaker 1: never be the same. Getting a sober ride will change
- 9:39Speaker 1: the world for the better. Drive sober or get pulled over.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Yeah, especially if you're planning to hit any parties this weekend.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Listen up, all right. I know people love to kick
- 9:49Speaker 3: back with the drink or something else, but driving under
- 9:52Speaker 3: the influence not cool.
- 9:54Speaker 1: No, it is definitely not. I've been sober since twenty eighteen,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and let me tell you, holidays like Labor Day have
- 10:01Speaker 1: a whole new meaning for me. Now they used to
- 10:03Speaker 1: be about utter chaos, a lot of cocktails, waking up
- 10:08Speaker 1: the next morning like what did I do all the
- 10:12Speaker 1: anxiety in the world. Now it's all about connection and
- 10:15Speaker 1: clarity and honestly, some really bomb mocktails.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I can vouch for that. The watermelon mint one you
- 10:23Speaker 3: made last year, well.
- 10:24Speaker 1: You know I love me some watermelon. Yes, that one
- 10:28Speaker 1: is one of my go tos for like summer parties.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's just fresh watermelon juice, a splash of lime, a
- 10:34Speaker 1: little agave and fresh mint. You muddle that all together,
- 10:38Speaker 1: pour it over crushed ice, and a boom. Nobody's even
- 10:42Speaker 1: thinking about alcohol.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Okay, but let's be real for a second. Drinking and
- 10:47Speaker 3: driving will change your whole world. Whether you get pulled over,
- 10:51Speaker 3: god forbid, you hurt someone or yourself, things will never
- 10:55Speaker 3: be the same.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's just not worth it. If you're going out this
- 10:58Speaker 1: Labor Day, have a play before the party starts, be
- 11:01Speaker 1: the designated driver, grab a ride share, stay over, do
- 11:05Speaker 1: literally anything but get behind the wheel impaired. There are
- 11:10Speaker 1: so many other options.
- 11:13Speaker 3: And hey, if you're hosting, set the tone, stalk your
- 11:16Speaker 3: party with mocktail options. Make sure your friends have safe
- 11:20Speaker 3: ways to get home be.
- 11:22Speaker 1: That host totally. I actually linked some of my favorite
- 11:25Speaker 1: mocktail recipes in the show notes, so check those out.
- 11:29Speaker 1: They're festive, they're fun, and way more chic than sloppy
- 11:32Speaker 1: drunk energy. It's just not cute, you guys, and let's
- 11:35Speaker 1: celebrate this labor day with love, laughs, and the best
- 11:39Speaker 1: mocktails period. So let me tell you, or let me
- 11:46Speaker 1: ask you this. Who gave Jen's name for production to
- 11:50Speaker 1: even hone in on her to be a housewife.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So having a business, they would come to me cut
- 11:56Speaker 2: fitness and they said, do you have any names of
- 11:58Speaker 2: anybody that wants to try out for your shoh? And
- 12:00Speaker 2: so I asked the girls. I'm like, hey, you know
- 12:02Speaker 2: what they're asking. Jen said yes, Tatiana, who's Gina's friend,
- 12:06Speaker 2: said yes. And it's the reason why Gina's on the
- 12:09Speaker 2: show is because Tatiana tried out. Wow, and then a
- 12:12Speaker 2: few other girls. So I gave their name. This was
- 12:14Speaker 2: when this is before Braunwin was cast on the show.
- 12:18Speaker 1: What that was years ago?
- 12:20Speaker 2: Years ago?
- 12:22Speaker 1: And so they finally reached out to Jen.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So I guess they reached out to her and they
- 12:26Speaker 2: passed on her. They brought braun went on, and then
- 12:29Speaker 2: I don't know how many times. You know, sometimes they
- 12:31Speaker 2: go through their rolodex at people and go like, oh, well,
- 12:35Speaker 2: let me ask her, let me see her. They go
- 12:37Speaker 2: through people that have filmed with you and all this stuff.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So I hadn't talked to her in a while, like
- 12:42Speaker 2: quite a while.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Let me ask you this really quickly. Was she still
- 12:46Speaker 1: married to her ex husband at the time. Yes, at
- 12:49Speaker 1: the time, okay, yes, yes, So.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I never gave her name ever again, never said anything
- 12:55Speaker 2: to Castine about anybody. And then years later, you know,
- 12:59Speaker 2: I get phone our text message saying, hey, the show's
- 13:03Speaker 2: reaching out to me, and I'm like, oh, well, you know,
- 13:05Speaker 2: try out could be good for you. I know that's
- 13:08Speaker 2: what she's always wanted, right, And I didn't have any
- 13:10Speaker 2: hard feelings for her, but we just weren't close, okay,
- 13:16Speaker 2: So you know, so she tried out, and I'm like,
- 13:19Speaker 2: and I like with anybody, I'm like, whatever help you need,
- 13:22Speaker 2: just let me know, I'll help you. But she came on,
- 13:26Speaker 2: and then it was always like, oh, we were best friends,
- 13:28Speaker 2: and I'm like, we went to a like I invited
- 13:32Speaker 2: you to a few things, but you came to my
- 13:34Speaker 2: gym every day, and I appreciate that. And you spent
- 13:36Speaker 2: a lot of money at my gym. But by no
- 13:38Speaker 2: means were we best friends?
- 13:40Speaker 1: I think, and I say this with love, I think
- 13:44Speaker 1: she is a tad stunted. I think in her mind,
- 13:53Speaker 1: maybe you guys were best friends. And you know, she's
- 13:57Speaker 1: never really been on her own. She's got this new guy,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and I don't want to I don't want to catch
- 14:02Speaker 1: a case by bringing him up.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I I good idea.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Yeah, And I truly think that she she has She's
- 14:11Speaker 1: very she feels very young to me, like I feel
- 14:15Speaker 1: like I'm much younger than her, and I feel like
- 14:17Speaker 1: I could actually coach her in life. I'm not going
- 14:20Speaker 1: to disagree so to her benefit, giving her the benefit
- 14:26Speaker 1: in her mind, her mind, I truly believe she was
- 14:29Speaker 1: like we were very close, we were best friends, because
- 14:32Speaker 1: I think someone who stays she was a stay at
- 14:34Speaker 1: home mom, right, for many years she was a stay.
- 14:37Speaker 2: At home mom. And then when I met her, when
- 14:39Speaker 2: she started kind of my gym around the time when
- 14:42Speaker 2: that picture was taken, she was teaching yoga at a
- 14:45Speaker 2: different yoga studio and she was training at our studio
- 14:48Speaker 2: as well. Okay, gat trading so she was putting the
- 14:50Speaker 2: work in, Like you know, I'm proud of her for
- 14:53Speaker 2: all the hard work that she put in and transforming
- 14:55Speaker 2: her body. And we trained her to do a fitness
- 14:58Speaker 2: competition and she looks amazing and she won. Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: No, she looks great. Yeah, she looks great. And and
- 15:05Speaker 1: you know, I can only imagine having what does she have,
- 15:08Speaker 1: like six kids, your home, you know, cooking, cleaning. You
- 15:12Speaker 1: don't have a lot of time to sit here and go,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you know what. I want to get to the gym
- 15:16Speaker 1: by the time you're done with the day. Help.
- 15:18Speaker 2: She had a lot of help. She was at my
- 15:19Speaker 2: gym like two hours a day.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Fuck. Oh she got the time.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yeah, she had the time. She has a lot of help.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Do you find that she and confessionals does not. It
- 15:29Speaker 1: doesn't align with what she's said to your face.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I think she's been she stepped it up this year.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I think she's more vocal. I don't necessarily her and
- 15:39Speaker 2: I are a lot different. She likes to play victim
- 15:42Speaker 2: on things and drag things out. And for me, if
- 15:45Speaker 2: someone's like, you know, here's a here's a picture of
- 15:48Speaker 2: you when I met you, I'm like, ah, I look
- 15:49Speaker 2: like I look like shit, and I would move on,
- 15:52Speaker 2: you know what I mean. I wouldn't be sitting there going,
- 15:54Speaker 2: oh my every episode like I'm different like that. I'm like,
- 15:58Speaker 2: move on, I don't care what you say is not
- 16:00Speaker 2: affecting me.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Well, you've got the grit. You've been through shit in
- 16:03Speaker 1: your life and you yeah, you pick and choose your battles.
- 16:05Speaker 1: And I totally I get that. I was shocked to
- 16:10Speaker 1: see Gretchen back on the.
- 16:11Speaker 2: TV, and not as shocked as I was, but.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I saw that post about friendship bracelets that you did
- 16:18Speaker 1: dust off the friendship bracelets.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it was May being sarcastic. It's really too best.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And then it clicked to me and I'm like, what
- 16:26Speaker 1: was the reasoning for her being brought on? And do
- 16:28Speaker 1: you think that she's gonna be like on our screens every.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Single you know what? I never know what prov was
- 16:33Speaker 2: gonna do. I was shocked she was ever brought back.
- 16:37Speaker 2: But here we are and here she is, and we
- 16:40Speaker 2: all I can do is deal with it the best
- 16:41Speaker 2: I can.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Do.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You guys, ever get to a good place this season.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I try, I try all season long to get to
- 16:49Speaker 2: a better place with her, and you'll see as it
- 16:51Speaker 2: goes on, I have no interest in talking about things
- 16:55Speaker 2: from fifteen years ago.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Right, so much has happened.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so much has happened since then. And if anything,
- 17:02Speaker 2: after she was let go, she spent a decade coming
- 17:05Speaker 2: after me, coming after my husband, contacting my daughter, like,
- 17:10Speaker 2: doing all these things. I mean, up until probably two
- 17:12Speaker 2: months before she filmed, she was doing a podcast about me,
- 17:17Speaker 2: and I had not seen her or talked about her
- 17:19Speaker 2: in years. The only time I've ever said anything is
- 17:23Speaker 2: when his son passed away and the mother put out
- 17:27Speaker 2: a statement in TMZ and me and Teddy read it
- 17:30Speaker 2: in our headlines.
- 17:31Speaker 1: That was it. But that's what you guys do. People
- 17:33Speaker 1: should know by what the podcast is about. Yeah, yep,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and it's still you read something. You were simply the messenger.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So you they love to shoot the messenger. You didn't
- 17:45Speaker 1: label it a fatty photo. You're paying for that.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Oh I know, I know, and it's irritating, But you know,
- 17:50Speaker 2: she comes out, she makes this post. I made zero
- 17:54Speaker 2: false allegations about Slade in my podcast. I'll be more
- 17:58Speaker 2: than happy to put it on my social so everybody
- 18:01Speaker 2: can hear it. I then go back to the episode.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I don't know it's quite a few years ago. It's
- 18:06Speaker 2: like you said, it's a headline. Teddy read the headline.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I gave Teddy some backstory because she had no idea
- 18:11Speaker 2: because she didn't watch the show. I never called him
- 18:14Speaker 2: a deadbeat dad, nothing like that. I also said Slade,
- 18:18Speaker 2: you know, this is Slade's Sun and that's hard and
- 18:21Speaker 2: it's sad. And I promoted to the I mean, I
- 18:24Speaker 2: promoted the go Find Me and Teddy and I donated
- 18:28Speaker 2: one thousand dollars.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I think that's very nice.
- 18:32Speaker 2: She's like she wants to find any fault in me
- 18:35Speaker 2: that she can find, and it's it's exhausting to me
- 18:38Speaker 2: because I'm like, girl, move on.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Has she always been a Bible bumper? No?
- 18:43Speaker 2: I think this is just I just don't trust anything
- 18:47Speaker 2: she does. Everything's very performative, very performative.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I saw this thing online and you had posted you
- 18:54Speaker 1: leaving where you're in the car, and she has a
- 18:58Speaker 1: rebuttal for you with you saying I guess I need
- 19:01Speaker 1: to get a dui in order to get grace or
- 19:05Speaker 1: or something like that. Yes, And she wrote a very
- 19:09Speaker 1: very lengthy response to it.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It was so long I couldn't even read it. Somebody
- 19:14Speaker 2: sent it to me.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I'm like, oh god, it was very She's harboring a
- 19:18Speaker 1: lot of animosity towards you, and I've been in this
- 19:23Speaker 1: space for quite some time, and it is crazy because
- 19:26Speaker 1: the outside world wants to call us all hypocrites, right,
- 19:29Speaker 1: But on the flip side, it's like, yeah, well that's
- 19:32Speaker 1: just being a person where we all have moments of
- 19:34Speaker 1: hypocrisy for sure, And you're my friend, but I'm always
- 19:40Speaker 1: gonna shoot it to you straight. With this one, I didn't.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I didn't quite understand it because what you were saying
- 19:47Speaker 1: was actually very correct. I mean, let's just call it
- 19:49Speaker 1: what it is. Shannon got into a car, thank god,
- 19:54Speaker 1: no one died, okay, and a lot of people rallied
- 19:57Speaker 1: around her, a lot the whole Bravo universe rallied around her.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I know, I don't understand, and maybe you can, you know,
- 20:07Speaker 1: shed some light on this. Why is it that you
- 20:11Speaker 1: are so easy for people to talk about your past.
- 20:15Speaker 1: It's brought up every chance they get. But then with
- 20:19Speaker 1: the Shannon situation, it was so delicately handled, which great,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm in the program, I understand, but she continued to drink.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and if.
- 20:30Speaker 1: The roles were reversed, Tamra, they would have your head
- 20:33Speaker 1: on a platter. Let's just call it what it is.
- 20:34Speaker 2: They would be killing me, killing me, And it comes up.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I don't know if it's going to be shared, but
- 20:40Speaker 2: Gina talks about how I'm held to a different standard
- 20:43Speaker 2: within this group. Everybody else can do things and say things,
- 20:46Speaker 2: but if I do it, oh my god, I mean
- 20:48Speaker 2: you would think like I hunted human beings for fun,
- 20:52Speaker 2: Like it's like crazy, It's crazy. And it's the point
- 20:57Speaker 2: now where I'm like what, I just don't know if
- 20:59Speaker 2: I can do this anymore, honestly.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And maybe I'm Maybe people will say I'm watching a
- 21:05Speaker 1: different show, but I feel like you're you're held to
- 21:10Speaker 1: I feel like they're held to a different standard. I've
- 21:13Speaker 1: like behavior is kind of shaken off.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Do you think it's because you're more intense? I have.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I am intense, But this is the funny thing is
- 21:24Speaker 2: like I haven't really been intense this season. I've been
- 21:27Speaker 2: kind of down and out. And last year, yeah, I
- 21:31Speaker 2: spoke my mind about Shannon and Forgretchen to say you
- 21:34Speaker 2: had no compassion for your friend, yeah I did. I
- 21:37Speaker 2: was there for her after I got home from Scotland.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I was talking to her. We were doing the Trace
- 21:43Speaker 2: a Mega show. We went to Brava Khan. She walked
- 21:45Speaker 2: the red carpet and said, me and Vicky have helped
- 21:48Speaker 2: her through this, you know. And then it was I
- 21:50Speaker 2: found out that she was saying some really nasty things
- 21:53Speaker 2: behind my back, and I said, you know what, I'm
- 21:56Speaker 2: not doing this anymore. Like here, I am being your
- 21:59Speaker 2: friend doing this trace of Mega show, which.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I didn't want to do.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and you're saying bad things about me. Forget it.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'm done, right, I'm done. So I had to cut
- 22:11Speaker 2: that friendship off. I mean, and we work together on
- 22:15Speaker 2: the show. So when it came out. Was I the
- 22:16Speaker 2: nicest to her? No, But it was irritating to know
- 22:20Speaker 2: everything that I've gone through ten years prior with her,
- 22:24Speaker 2: and know about all the drinking and all the stuff
- 22:27Speaker 2: that I will never repeat, and to see her keep drinking.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I cannot imagine. It's hard. No, it is hard, especially
- 22:35Speaker 1: when you see everyone rallying around someone and kind of
- 22:37Speaker 1: enabling the behavior. I don't know if Shannon has a
- 22:39Speaker 1: drinking problem that's self diagnosed, but to see people handle
- 22:45Speaker 1: you in such a rigid way, during one of the
- 22:48Speaker 1: most difficult times you'll ever have in your life. Like,
- 22:52Speaker 1: my heart really does go out to you, and you
- 22:55Speaker 1: have been mellow. I'm like, where's where's Tam? I know
- 22:58Speaker 1: where you are, and I think you gave them exactly
- 23:01Speaker 1: what they wanted at that New Orleans dinner where you
- 23:04Speaker 1: were where you were sloshed.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I mean to me, it's difficult because I can't hold
- 23:12Speaker 2: the whole show all the time. No, and they want
- 23:16Speaker 2: to like pick on every word I say to make it,
- 23:22Speaker 2: you know, a storyline. But yet other people say things
- 23:26Speaker 2: far worse, like if I would have said, what with
- 23:29Speaker 2: the what was it the Gretchen said to Shannon, well
- 23:32Speaker 2: some you know, DUI's illegal?
- 23:34Speaker 1: Oh you would have been.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Oh my god. I would have been annihilated. It would
- 23:38Speaker 2: have been talked about for the next, you know, ten episodes.
- 23:41Speaker 2: It's like it's exhausting.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I I can well, I can imagine I know that
- 23:47Speaker 1: feeling where you're like, I'm getting all the heat. But
- 23:50Speaker 1: without this, what are we going to talk about? Truthfully?
- 23:55Speaker 1: I don't so at what point do do you stop
- 24:00Speaker 1: going back and forth with Gretchen knowing you're never going
- 24:02Speaker 1: to win, especially on social media, so my.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Post was not about Gretchen, not at all, not not
- 24:11Speaker 2: not about Gretchen. Let me just be quite honest. I
- 24:15Speaker 2: don't want anything from Gretchen. I don't want grace. I
- 24:18Speaker 2: don't want sympathy. I don't expect it from Gretchen or
- 24:20Speaker 2: gen because they're like to peas in a pod. I
- 24:23Speaker 2: don't expect or want it. Where I want it from
- 24:26Speaker 2: is you know, my good friends like Emily Gin and Heather,
- 24:28Speaker 2: and Heather has been very very kind to me and
- 24:30Speaker 2: has been through this with the process with me and
- 24:33Speaker 2: Terry being a doctor, he'd be got on the phone
- 24:35Speaker 2: with me in the very beginning when Teddy got sick
- 24:38Speaker 2: and talk to me about things. And because you get
- 24:40Speaker 2: a lot of information and you're like, don't know how
- 24:42Speaker 2: to process it. Then you get online, you start googling
- 24:44Speaker 2: it and you're like, oh my god. And then so
- 24:46Speaker 2: Terry would talk to me. So they were always there
- 24:49Speaker 2: for me. Yeah. So I understand Heather's frustration with me
- 24:53Speaker 2: at in New Orleans because I you know, I heard
- 24:56Speaker 2: it wasn't very nice to her. So so as a viewer,
- 25:01Speaker 2: we loved it. I wasn't very nice to her. But
- 25:04Speaker 2: you know, when I text her, I'm like, you know,
- 25:07Speaker 2: I heard I wasn't very nice to you. I'm so sorry.
- 25:09Speaker 2: You don't deserve that. And you know when I do
- 25:12Speaker 2: come back, you know, I'm gone a week, so I'll
- 25:15Speaker 2: be interested to see if I'm even off one episode.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And if I'm not, that's very telling.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Well, I don't know how. I mean, you're kind of
- 25:23Speaker 1: the main source of every storyline, so I think that's
- 25:27Speaker 1: going to be kind of You're going to have to
- 25:28Speaker 1: be drawn in in some way.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see, we'll see. I don't know. I'm expecting
- 25:33Speaker 2: not to be in the next episode, so I'll probably
- 25:35Speaker 2: watch it.
- 25:36Speaker 1: But what is different with your relationship with Heather than
- 25:40Speaker 1: the rest of the women? Why is there something about
- 25:43Speaker 1: her that because she calls you on your shit, Tam,
- 25:46Speaker 1: Yeah she does.
- 25:47Speaker 2: But I you know, I love Heather. Heather comes from
- 25:50Speaker 2: a place of kindness. I mean, Heather have had arguments,
- 25:53Speaker 2: but we always have resolution. And I care about her
- 25:56Speaker 2: and I care about her family, and she cares about
- 25:59Speaker 2: you know, my family, Like every birthday. She's the first
- 26:02Speaker 2: one I get a text message one my anniversary. She
- 26:04Speaker 2: was in my wedding, and she's the first one that
- 26:06Speaker 2: will text us like she's just a very kind person.
- 26:09Speaker 2: But you know, we're also filming the show together, and
- 26:11Speaker 2: if I do something that's out of line, I expect
- 26:14Speaker 2: Heather to call me back, call me out like I
- 26:17Speaker 2: do for anybody.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Else, and it's you know that it's not for just
- 26:21Speaker 1: the show, because you guys have a relationship even when
- 26:24Speaker 1: cameras are down. Yeap. What is it like going into
- 26:29Speaker 1: a reunion for you? Do you have like a prep
- 26:31Speaker 1: that you go through? Do you make notes? I want
- 26:34Speaker 1: to know everything from like are you bringing receipts? To
- 26:38Speaker 1: what is it like to get yourself esthetically ready?
- 26:42Speaker 2: I have in the past definitely had folders with receipts,
- 26:45Speaker 2: and I you know, I think if you're being accused
- 26:47Speaker 2: of something, you have receipts, like bring them right right?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:52Speaker 2: And then there's been season where I don't need them
- 26:54Speaker 2: or I bring them and I don't.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Use them, you know.
- 26:56Speaker 2: So as of now, like I don't know, I don't
- 26:59Speaker 2: know what I'm going to do because I haven't seen
- 27:01Speaker 2: the whole season play out, and I know that I'm
- 27:04Speaker 2: gonna have to watch all the episodes. There's two episodes
- 27:07Speaker 2: so far I haven't watched. I know I'm gonna have.
- 27:09Speaker 1: To watch them one of which ones have you not watched?
- 27:12Speaker 2: I didn't watch second episode because I saw a clip.
- 27:16Speaker 2: It was Gretchen's for her entrance with Ryan and Jen
- 27:20Speaker 2: and you know Katie and Matt. I thought, oh god,
- 27:22Speaker 2: it's just gonna be Tamra bashing.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I just think I'm fast forwarded through that.
- 27:26Speaker 2: That says a lot. Yeah, and then the last one
- 27:30Speaker 2: I haven't watched.
- 27:31Speaker 1: So one thing, I know that feeling. You're like, I
- 27:36Speaker 1: want it to be out there. I either have to
- 27:38Speaker 1: see it very far in advance so I can go
- 27:41Speaker 1: through the emotions and by the time people are talking
- 27:43Speaker 1: about it, I'm like, Hugh, that was a million live
- 27:46Speaker 1: times ago. Yeah, or I have to watch it very
- 27:49Speaker 1: far in the future.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Right. So I just wait for my assistant to watch it,
- 27:53Speaker 2: and then he tells me, like he gives me the
- 27:55Speaker 2: highlights of what I'm waiting now. Job, I want to
- 27:58Speaker 2: be your assistant, so that that's what I do now.
- 28:02Speaker 2: So I'm like, just give me bullet points, what did
- 28:04Speaker 2: I do? What did I say? I don't have to
- 28:05Speaker 2: worry about who said what about me because I lived it.
- 28:08Speaker 2: You know, you know how it goes you live it right,
- 28:10Speaker 2: Bar is getting ready for the reunion, and we all
- 28:12Speaker 2: do our shit, like let's get a botox, you know,
- 28:15Speaker 2: we have to get our roots done and all that
- 28:18Speaker 2: kind of stuff.
- 28:19Speaker 1: But damn, I like this season is fucking epic. I
- 28:24Speaker 1: do want to know. Does Eddie ever have a sit
- 28:27Speaker 1: down where you guys, you're thinking about, you know, sending
- 28:30Speaker 1: you back into the lions Den, where he's said to you, like,
- 28:35Speaker 1: are we sure that this is the right move, because Tim,
- 28:38Speaker 1: you don't need the you don't need the show any long.
- 28:40Speaker 2: No, I don't anymore, that's for sure. Financially, I do
- 28:43Speaker 2: not know. I you know, we do have a sit down,
- 28:47Speaker 2: and of course you never know what's gonna air, right,
- 28:50Speaker 2: You never know or how it's going to be put together. Yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 2: you know what shown what's not shown? So and I
- 28:57Speaker 2: think it is after I come home, I know, Like
- 29:01Speaker 2: the first thing I do is I go to a therapy.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I also talk with the show's therapist, psychiatrist.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Is this all? Is this all shown? Are you? Are
- 29:12Speaker 1: you breaking the fourth wall a lot this season?
- 29:15Speaker 2: Well, my therapy session, my first one when I originally
- 29:18Speaker 2: get home, that one, there was no cameras on me.
- 29:22Speaker 2: But then a few days later, I or maybe a
- 29:26Speaker 2: week later, I do film one a you know, like
- 29:30Speaker 2: a week later. Yeah, so on camera. But as far
- 29:34Speaker 2: as you know, you know how it goes. As psychiatrists,
- 29:35Speaker 2: they want to make shows. They want to make sure
- 29:37Speaker 2: you're okay and how to do like one of those
- 29:40Speaker 2: five hundred questioned surveys and then get re evaluated from that.
- 29:44Speaker 2: And she had diagnosed me as being very self critical,
- 29:49Speaker 2: being severely depressed. She thought that I should go on
- 29:54Speaker 2: I think it was like lexapro or something like that,
- 29:58Speaker 2: and so yeah, so I had to go through that.
- 30:01Speaker 2: So it wasn't like I just got home and it
- 30:03Speaker 2: was like okay, you know, because I did go to
- 30:05Speaker 2: Big Bear. I got home, I went and saw Teddy,
- 30:07Speaker 2: we talked, we did a podcast together at her house.
- 30:10Speaker 2: And then the next day I went to Big Bear
- 30:11Speaker 2: and I just zoned out, relaxed, laughed, had fun. We
- 30:15Speaker 2: had a snow blizzard going on. I was playing in
- 30:18Speaker 2: the snow with a dog and just kind of sleeping.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I slept so much and I just kind of regrouped.
- 30:25Speaker 2: And then finally because Heather had reached out to me,
- 30:28Speaker 2: I believe from New Orleans, and you know a week
- 30:32Speaker 2: had gone by and I hadn't responded to her, so
- 30:34Speaker 2: I said, thank you, I'm okay now, you know, I'm
- 30:38Speaker 2: doing much better, and then we filmed together. She's the
- 30:43Speaker 2: first one I filmed with.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That's a I think that that is a great comeback scene,
- 30:47Speaker 1: someone who you're comfortable with. I think so often people
- 30:51Speaker 1: who are watching the show forget that this is such
- 30:55Speaker 1: a small part of our lives that we're filming. And
- 31:00Speaker 1: I love that you were able and that production and basking.
- 31:04Speaker 1: They said, go and take care of yourself. Live. As
- 31:06Speaker 1: much as the reality portion filming a show is real life,
- 31:11Speaker 1: it's a group of women who are going through their
- 31:14Speaker 1: ups and downs. There is quite a huge difference, at
- 31:18Speaker 1: least for me, my reality versus my reality.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And I think if people don't understand, like
- 31:25Speaker 2: people process things differently, and for me, I am the
- 31:29Speaker 2: I'm learning. I am the type of the person that
- 31:31Speaker 2: just sweeps everything under the rug and then I have
- 31:34Speaker 2: big meltdowns, you know, once a year or whatever. And
- 31:39Speaker 2: pain for me is very very hard to process. I
- 31:44Speaker 2: feel like when something hurts me, I legit feel like
- 31:49Speaker 2: I want to die.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Oh damn. I just like, you know, I just I
- 31:54Speaker 1: want to die.
- 31:54Speaker 2: That's all that I can think of, Like how can
- 31:56Speaker 2: I die? How can I die? And that's like, you know,
- 32:00Speaker 2: after I came back, like I just kept thinking like
- 32:02Speaker 2: I can't do this anymore. I can't. I just felt
- 32:05Speaker 2: so bad. And I know that it's maybe it's not
- 32:09Speaker 2: the normal way of processing things, but that's how I did.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Was not raised to talk about things. Yeah, you know,
- 32:17Speaker 2: it's like I was. I always say like I was
- 32:19Speaker 2: raised in the air, like don't cry. You want to cry,
- 32:21Speaker 2: I'll give you something to cry about, you know. So
- 32:24Speaker 2: it was you know, I don't I'm not good at that.
- 32:26Speaker 2: And I know I'm not good at that.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I don't think people give you. I don't think people
- 32:32Speaker 1: understand that you lash out and I can. I feel
- 32:36Speaker 1: like I can say this because I do the exact
- 32:37Speaker 1: same thing, but I do that almost as a level
- 32:42Speaker 1: of protection for myself. Yeah, I'm extremely sensitive, and the
- 32:48Speaker 1: talks that we've had outside of all of this, I
- 32:51Speaker 1: know that you're the exact same way. And when someone
- 32:56Speaker 1: hurts me to my core, I go in guns blazing,
- 32:59Speaker 1: and then I go home and I beat myself up
- 33:02Speaker 1: for hours, days, months on end.
- 33:05Speaker 2: YEP that's how I am too. And if I could
- 33:07Speaker 2: tell you how many times one of the cast members
- 33:10Speaker 2: said something to me that hurt my feelings and then said, God,
- 33:13Speaker 2: I'm just so not used to you being sensitive. And
- 33:17Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, maybe I'm not the most sensitive person.
- 33:20Speaker 2: You don't think, maybe there's this hard exterior, but I
- 33:22Speaker 2: am human, right, like I'm a human being. Like what
- 33:26Speaker 2: do you expect?
- 33:28Speaker 1: You know what?
- 33:28Speaker 2: Else?
- 33:28Speaker 1: And I don't know if you're going to relate to this,
- 33:30Speaker 1: But there are so many times where people will say,
- 33:35Speaker 1: fill me a show, have said things to me that
- 33:38Speaker 1: have hurt me, but I choose not to make a
- 33:41Speaker 1: big deal about it. I choose to sweep it under
- 33:44Speaker 1: the rug. Yeah, But then when I say something and
- 33:48Speaker 1: because they make it such a big deal, then I'm
- 33:51Speaker 1: left as the asshole.
- 33:52Speaker 2: At all times. That well, that's how the show goes
- 33:54Speaker 2: for me. Every single year. I don't dwell on things,
- 33:57Speaker 2: like people have said things about me. I don't dwell
- 33:59Speaker 2: on them. But yet I say one thing and we're
- 34:02Speaker 2: talking about it for five episodes.
- 34:04Speaker 1: It almost makes you. It almost makes you want to
- 34:06Speaker 1: flip the script and go, you know what, every time
- 34:07Speaker 1: you hurt my feelings, I'm gonna bring it up.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Well that's how I feel, you know what I mean, Like,
- 34:12Speaker 2: I think that way, but it's not in my demeanor.
- 34:15Speaker 2: It's not who I am.
- 34:16Speaker 1: You'd before to change who you are exactly.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I would have to be forced to do that, and
- 34:21Speaker 2: it doesn't feel natural for me. So that's why people
- 34:24Speaker 2: are like, oh, well, look at all the things she's
- 34:26Speaker 2: done to Gretchen. I got done anything to Gretchen. Nothing, nothing,
- 34:31Speaker 2: you know what dead beat dad? It was in the press.
- 34:34Speaker 2: If my husband wasn't paying child support and it was
- 34:36Speaker 2: in the press, do you think nobody's gonna bring it up?
- 34:39Speaker 1: I think that anyone. It's not just slid. I think
- 34:42Speaker 1: anyone who's not paying child support is considered a dead
- 34:45Speaker 1: beat dad. Right, that's just definition.
- 34:47Speaker 2: But they act like I just pulled it. It was like
- 34:49Speaker 2: like last year with the was the last year I
- 34:51Speaker 2: think the FBI. I didn't just pull it out of
- 34:53Speaker 2: my ass like it was out there. It came out right,
- 34:56Speaker 2: you know. So it's like, how dare you? How dare
- 35:00Speaker 2: I'm still talking about stuff like that. I'm like, move on, right,
- 35:03Speaker 2: And I feel like when people get stuck on things
- 35:06Speaker 2: from the past, it's because they're true.
- 35:09Speaker 1: M Yeah, it's anyone who has to pull out the
- 35:13Speaker 1: history books every time you do something wrong. And then
- 35:16Speaker 1: there and then you try to say you've hurt me before, Well,
- 35:18Speaker 1: what have I done? I don't know, because I'm not
- 35:20Speaker 1: a psychopath, and I don't keep a list of things
- 35:22Speaker 1: that you've done. I've moved on. I've moved on. But
- 35:25Speaker 1: I can guarantee you you've hurt me at some point,
- 35:27Speaker 1: and you're welcome for never bringing it up and wasting
- 35:29Speaker 1: your fucking time like you've wasted mine for the past
- 35:32Speaker 1: five years exactly.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I mean, I can't imagine Eddie going on and on
- 35:38Speaker 2: about to this day about Gretchen and Slade doing podcasts
- 35:42Speaker 2: and coming on Vicky, going to Vicky's birthday party, you know,
- 35:46Speaker 2: doing a cameo there saying Eddie's gay. Could you imagine
- 35:49Speaker 2: him just going they hurt my feelings, they said I
- 35:52Speaker 2: was gay.
- 35:52Speaker 1: But by the way, if you were to bring that up,
- 35:55Speaker 1: which is another massive like you just don't do that.
- 36:00Speaker 1: If you brought that up, I think the women and
- 36:04Speaker 1: the audience would tell you to get the fuck over it.
- 36:06Speaker 1: It happened so long ago, I know, exactly exactly. It's
- 36:10Speaker 1: enough to make you feel like you're going insane.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Oh, I feel like I'm going insane, honestly.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Like why are we?
- 36:17Speaker 2: And that's why I don't want to watch the episodes
- 36:20Speaker 2: right now, because the first part of the season was
- 36:23Speaker 2: really difficult. When I come back, you will see a
- 36:27Speaker 2: little bit of a change in me. I'm very a
- 36:30Speaker 2: little bit of a change, yes, so it you know,
- 36:33Speaker 2: I have some ups and downs still, but I'm stronger
- 36:37Speaker 2: and I'm not putting up with shit.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Good, I'm glad. I love you just the way you
- 36:42Speaker 1: are and I'm not trying to kiss your ass. I
- 36:43Speaker 1: think I feel like I'm looking at me and I
- 36:46Speaker 1: think you're a bad bitch. And I like knowing what
- 36:48Speaker 1: I'm getting with people.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you know you talked about Katie earlier. There's something
- 36:55Speaker 2: about her that you know, I'm like, she's hurt, Like
- 37:02Speaker 2: there's hurt in her because you know, I know she
- 37:05Speaker 2: had talked about being adopted and you know, being raised
- 37:09Speaker 2: in a mostly Caucasian area and the hate that she
- 37:13Speaker 2: got and all this stuff. And I don't really know
- 37:16Speaker 2: where she stands now with her adopted parents, but you know,
- 37:20Speaker 2: she to me that I could spot it. I'm like,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I don't think this is who she is. I think
- 37:26Speaker 2: this is like a trauma response or something. I might
- 37:29Speaker 2: be completely wrong, maybe I'm going through too much therapy.
- 37:32Speaker 1: No, but I am said, right, Yeah, I love what
- 37:36Speaker 1: you said because I think one of the truest things
- 37:39Speaker 1: that she has said this season. I don't know if
- 37:41Speaker 1: you've watched this episode, you guys, are she had you
- 37:45Speaker 1: and you're doing like dumplings or the hot pot hop? Yeah? Yes, yes,
- 37:51Speaker 1: And she said I thought this was a situation where
- 37:54Speaker 1: it was eat or be eaten. And I think coming
- 37:58Speaker 1: onto a show like this, it's very well known now,
- 38:01Speaker 1: Like I feel like back when I started, I like,
- 38:04Speaker 1: I watched, but it's it's a cultural phenomenon now just
- 38:07Speaker 1: Bravo as a whole. Like if you don't watch, you
- 38:10Speaker 1: still know it.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so I do.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I think I felt that to my core is she's
- 38:14Speaker 1: going into the lion's den and if she doesn't fucking
- 38:18Speaker 1: like come in ready to eat, then she's gonna be eaten. Yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not excusing any bad behavior whatsoever, but
- 38:25Speaker 2: I just see something, you know deeper.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah, isn't that the way it is with all of us? Though?
- 38:32Speaker 1: We all. We all come into life based off of
- 38:35Speaker 1: our experiences. You coming in and not knowing how to
- 38:39Speaker 1: process emotion and how you were raised. You know, as
- 38:44Speaker 1: as a grown woman, now you're having to learn how
- 38:47Speaker 1: to do things that were not normal as a kid.
- 38:51Speaker 1: That's where you learn all of your your life's scare tools.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Yep, your product of your development, your product of your environment.
- 38:58Speaker 2: And you know, I'm much older than you, but back
- 39:01Speaker 2: in the day, like my household. I don't know if
- 39:04Speaker 2: it's every household, but my house and we do need
- 39:05Speaker 2: to talk about stuff like we're like, yeah, you're fine,
- 39:09Speaker 2: did you die?
- 39:10Speaker 1: You're good. I think I think it was a I
- 39:13Speaker 1: think it's a part. It's a generational thing, like I
- 39:17Speaker 1: know many women. My mother has told me, like, it's
- 39:21Speaker 1: weird for me to have my daughter doing reality television
- 39:24Speaker 1: where she talks about everything. I was not raised that way.
- 39:28Speaker 1: We were. You put on a front and everything that's
- 39:31Speaker 1: at home you keep in the home, and we don't
- 39:33Speaker 1: talk about feelings. I think that that is very normal,
- 39:36Speaker 1: and I hope that I can break the cycle. I'm
- 39:39Speaker 1: sure you're well, you are breaking the cycle.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I'm absolutely breaking the cycle for my children.
- 39:46Speaker 2: For sure.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I love seeing you with your daughter.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Ah, my daughter, Sophia. I mean I wish Spencer would film,
- 39:53Speaker 2: but he's so shy. Yeah, and he filmed one year
- 39:58Speaker 2: after he turned eighteen in p Bull just said such
- 40:01Speaker 2: horrible things on social media and he's like, Mom, I
- 40:04Speaker 2: just can't do it. Like he's just the sweetest boy.
- 40:07Speaker 2: And I go, I get it. I totally get it.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Every year I ask him and he's like, you know
- 40:12Speaker 2: the answer, Mom, I don't want to. I respect what
- 40:17Speaker 2: you do, but it's not for me. And Sophia, like,
- 40:20Speaker 2: she's a natural performer. This girl, she's been performing since
- 40:24Speaker 2: she was two years old. She's just all she wants
- 40:26Speaker 2: to be on stage and she wants to sing. And
- 40:28Speaker 2: we were going through some old videos yesterday, I mean
- 40:31Speaker 2: Eddie and we were literally doubled over. These are videos
- 40:34Speaker 2: I didn't even know. He download them off a old computer,
- 40:37Speaker 2: my old computer. She literally was making like her own YouTube,
- 40:41Speaker 2: you know, like you the computer would come on and
- 40:44Speaker 2: all you'd see was a chair and she'd come up
- 40:46Speaker 2: and she'd be like, Hi, I'm Sophia, how are you
- 40:49Speaker 2: doing out there? And she would like give you a
- 40:51Speaker 2: whole show. There must have been a hundred videos, which
- 40:54Speaker 2: and how.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Old was she?
- 40:56Speaker 2: Five and six?
- 40:58Speaker 1: Oh my god? How about was she have those?
- 41:00Speaker 2: I know? And she's so funny and she was singing
- 41:03Speaker 2: and hey guys, it just dropped my first single.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Oh she's prepping. She prepped for startom? Yes? Yes, how
- 41:11Speaker 1: does she handle trolls? She seems like a bad bitch?
- 41:13Speaker 1: Am I allowed to say that? Sorry?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she's a bit. My daughter's a bad bitch. Yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 2: she is a bad bitch.
- 41:19Speaker 1: She she doesn't give a fuck.
- 41:21Speaker 2: She doesn't give a fuck. She doesn't. I think though,
- 41:24Speaker 2: you know, there's certain things like she said to me,
- 41:27Speaker 2: She's like, damn, these Bravo fans are brutal.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Been this brutal?
- 41:34Speaker 2: No, I think social media has gotten so bad, like
- 41:37Speaker 2: it's just in the toilet as far as I'm concerned,
- 41:39Speaker 2: Like I've I've read some even about Teddy, Like I'm
- 41:44Speaker 2: just like, who says stuff like that?
- 41:46Speaker 1: They're fucked up?
- 41:48Speaker 2: Like why would you say something like that? And it's
- 41:51Speaker 2: you know, it's a it's a platform now that people
- 41:53Speaker 2: can buy bots to attack you, and you know it's
- 41:57Speaker 2: just it's dirty.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it's dirty.
- 41:59Speaker 2: You know, Well, what I do on social media is.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I go through my stories, I'll reply to some of
- 42:05Speaker 2: my dms, but when it comes like I try not
- 42:07Speaker 2: to like read the comments I have Cayden on my
- 42:10Speaker 2: social media. I'm like, you deal with it. I don't
- 42:12Speaker 2: want to deal with it. Yeah, it's really gotten to
- 42:14Speaker 2: the point where and then Facebook, now we have all
- 42:17Speaker 2: these fake AI stories that are out there.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I know, did you hear I'm joining Southern Charm? Oh
- 42:23Speaker 1: you are well?
- 42:23Speaker 2: Did you know that my husband has a gambling problem
- 42:26Speaker 2: and that we're getting divorced every other month? And oh
- 42:30Speaker 2: my god, like it's we live in separate lives, and
- 42:33Speaker 2: it's just ridiculous.
- 42:36Speaker 1: It's scary. It is scary out there. I stay off.
- 42:39Speaker 1: In fact, I loved my podcast podcast page because the
- 42:43Speaker 1: comments were always just they stuck to the script. Yea,
- 42:48Speaker 1: they commented on the video at hand, very productive, fun.
- 42:52Speaker 1: And now I've got trolls there and I'm like, go
- 42:54Speaker 1: away and get the Do I stop talking? No, because
- 42:58Speaker 1: this is a podcast. Am I really having to explain
- 43:01Speaker 1: how a fucking podcast works? And I took the time
- 43:04Speaker 1: to do it. I took the time to respond, you
- 43:07Speaker 1: know what I have to.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I try to keep my social media pretty positive. It's
- 43:11Speaker 2: about my podcast, it's about my dog, it's about my husband.
- 43:14Speaker 2: You know. I don't post my kids a lot or
- 43:16Speaker 2: my granddaughter, but you know, once in a while I do.
- 43:20Speaker 2: But you know, it's just that one day where you're
- 43:22Speaker 2: in a shit ass mood and you're like you just
- 43:25Speaker 2: want to pop off? Yeah, you want to pop off.
- 43:28Speaker 1: They they're not very frequent, but when I do, I
- 43:32Speaker 1: have a heyday and then I go, why did I
- 43:35Speaker 1: do that? You know what? No?
- 43:37Speaker 2: Yeah, even yesterday? Stop, yeah, even yesterday.
- 43:40Speaker 1: You know.
- 43:40Speaker 2: I woke up in the morning and I saw that
- 43:42Speaker 2: clip where it's like they're all making fun of me,
- 43:45Speaker 2: and then I put like, what do I have to
- 43:46Speaker 2: get a DUI? Then after I posted it, I'm like,
- 43:48Speaker 2: why did I do that? I shouldn't have done that.
- 43:50Speaker 2: That was too impulsive. But now it's out there, Shit,
- 43:53Speaker 2: what do I do? So I think by midday, I'm
- 43:56Speaker 2: like take it down.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Yeah, right enough where people might think that it expired.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Because what's even worse than putting it out there is
- 44:03Speaker 1: doing it and someone being like she deleted it.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Like my assistant who's like the opos, He's like,
- 44:11Speaker 2: stop doing that, don't post, don't post anything. Just be quiet.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Oh it's so hard for that.
- 44:16Speaker 2: And I'm like, I know, I know, I know, I know.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Somebody sends you something, don't comment on it. I'm like, okay,
- 44:22Speaker 2: too late, you're said than done.
- 44:23Speaker 1: You're a little too late.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I go, I'm going to stick to Facebook if I
- 44:27Speaker 2: need to like. And he's like, Facebook comments are worse,
- 44:31Speaker 2: they're old, mean people.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Do you ever get on Reddit?
- 44:34Speaker 2: You know what? Just recently because my assistants like, check
- 44:40Speaker 2: this out on Reddit, and I'm like, oh my god, Nally,
- 44:45Speaker 2: do you.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Like Reddit better? I don't go on Reddit. I've never
- 44:48Speaker 1: looked at up myself on Reddit. They are viscous?
- 44:51Speaker 2: Are they vicious?
- 44:52Speaker 3: Well?
- 44:52Speaker 2: This was about a topic that was pro me, so
- 44:54Speaker 2: maybe I've liked it, you know.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, give me all the proms. I'll read the
- 44:58Speaker 1: pro me.
- 44:58Speaker 2: That's the only one that I saw. So I I'm like, oh, well,
- 45:00Speaker 2: maybe Rudd it's better. I don't know. I don't have
- 45:03Speaker 2: the app on my phone. Isn't it like an app?
- 45:05Speaker 1: Yeah, don't get it. Don't get it, but just have
- 45:07Speaker 1: your assistant show you all things pro you that like
- 45:10Speaker 1: keeps your spirits high. I want to leave on a
- 45:12Speaker 1: very high note. How is your grand baby? She is good?
- 45:16Speaker 1: She is good.
- 45:17Speaker 2: It's a funny story is I went over to visit
- 45:19Speaker 2: her with her mom because they live right down the street,
- 45:23Speaker 2: and so went over and I bought her a La
- 45:25Speaker 2: Boo boo. Okay, what I thought was a la booboo.
- 45:29Speaker 2: And I brought it to her and I she opens
- 45:32Speaker 2: it up and she looked at me and she's like, Grandma,
- 45:36Speaker 2: this is a lot fufou. And I'm like it's fake,
- 45:39Speaker 2: and she's like, duh, it's fake. How old is she ten?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Holy shit, she's ten already ten?
- 45:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Oh, and you got it. See, I would know the
- 45:50Speaker 1: difference between I don't know the difference.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I'm like, I bought it online from that pop mark
- 45:55Speaker 2: or pop whatever it's called. Yeah, yeah, I thought it
- 45:58Speaker 2: was real.
- 45:59Speaker 1: And so can I ask you how much you spent
- 46:02Speaker 1: on it?
- 46:02Speaker 2: It was like forty five dollars really, but I bought
- 46:05Speaker 2: three of them. Oh shit, you know it's forty five
- 46:10Speaker 2: or something like that.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I'm like, Oh, the La booboo craze, I will never understand.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I was out at dinner with Janet and she was like,
- 46:19Speaker 1: my dealer's coming, and I was like, I'm not doing
- 46:22Speaker 1: it's Monday. Like, if this is like a party vibe,
- 46:26Speaker 1: I'm not into it. She was like, I don't do drugs.
- 46:28Speaker 1: It's my laboo boo dealer. I was like, that's a thing.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Now, Oh my god. We went on one. I only
- 46:37Speaker 2: the first time I saw one was it went out
- 46:39Speaker 2: for Teddy's birthday in July, or maybe it was the
- 46:42Speaker 2: end of August. We went a couple of days early
- 46:44Speaker 2: before birthdays till I first, and then it was a
- 46:46Speaker 2: bunch of her girlfriends. She's got the most amazing girlfriends
- 46:50Speaker 2: and you know, out in the valley and so I
- 46:53Speaker 2: she got one, and I'm like, oh my god, everybody
- 46:57Speaker 2: was going crazy and they're pulling their bags out and
- 46:58Speaker 2: they have them on there. I felt the need that
- 47:02Speaker 2: I had to get one. Oh and so then I
- 47:05Speaker 2: go and order it in. They're fake, you know. One
- 47:08Speaker 2: of her friends is like, I had to drive to Anaheim,
- 47:12Speaker 2: I had to wait in line.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I know they're like a craze, but I refuse, Tamra,
- 47:17Speaker 1: I can't have one more fucking weird thing that I
- 47:19Speaker 1: have to store at my house.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Well here's the thing. They'll be out of style and
- 47:23Speaker 2: nobody will care in six months.
- 47:25Speaker 1: I agree, like, I'm not in teeny babies. Oh God,
- 47:29Speaker 1: don't get me start on the fucking beanie babies that
- 47:31Speaker 1: my mom had me. Never take the tag off of Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Cut to where we are now and like, how much
- 47:36Speaker 1: is it worth? She's like twenty five bucks. I'm like, yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 1: not worth it.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Good job we stored them fifteen twenty years.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Here we are, we stored them. I'm so happy that
- 47:45Speaker 1: you did this today. I really appreciate it.
- 47:48Speaker 2: I am too, And how much fun.
