- 0:29This is June 21st, everyone.
- 0:33Great, great to be with you.

- 0:58incidentally.
- 0:59And by the way, ladies and gentlemen, I
- 1:00want to share with you that if you

- 1:05before, I always invite you to get yourself
- 1:07a drink, whether it's water, RO, whether it's
- 1:09a snack, fruit, healthy or not, that's totally
- 1:11up to you.
- 1:13And let's just kick this show off, all
- 1:15right, everyone?
- 1:15So this is Inspirations for Your Life, if
- 1:17you didn't know that.
- 1:19And so our master topic is, this whole
- 1:21week, is protecting your energy like it builds
- 1:23your future.
- 1:24It's series five and it's show 26.
- 1:28And so the episode we'll get into in
- 1:30just a second is what you focus on
- 1:33grows.
- 1:34Series five, show 26, episode number two.
- 1:37So attention, guys, equals results, if you didn't
- 1:39know that.
- 1:40It equals results every single time.
- 1:43That's right.
- 1:44All right, so welcome, everyone, to Inspirations for
- 1:46Your Life.
- 1:47I am John C.
- 1:49Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
- 1:56podcast host, coach, passionate lifelong learner, keynote speaker,
- 2:02graduate student at Montgomery University, and yes, so
- 2:06grateful now to be a published author.
- 2:08Yes, thank you, everyone.
- 2:10So today I continue our exploration of energy.
- 2:13But we move deeper this time, because protecting
- 2:17your energy is not only about boundaries, which
- 2:21we've learned, it is also about direction in
- 2:24our life.
- 2:24Where your attention goes, your life flows.
- 2:27Wherever we put our attention, wherever our thoughts
- 2:30go, that's where the energy is going to
- 2:31flow.
- 2:32And a lot of people don't get this.
- 2:33They wonder, why am I not where I
- 2:34want to be?
- 2:35Well, that's because that's where your attention's going,
- 2:37right?
- 2:38So our core message is this.
- 2:39It's pretty simple.
- 2:40Focus is not passive.
- 2:42Nope.
- 2:43It is directional force.
- 2:45That's right.
- 2:46It builds outcomes silently over time, okay?
- 2:50Most people do not fail from lack of
- 2:53effort.
- 2:53No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 2:55no, no, no, guys.
- 2:56They fail from scattered attention.
- 3:01They fail from scattered attention.
- 3:05And I think that's important to understand.
- 3:08Because what you focus on repeatedly becomes your
- 3:12trajectory, all right?
- 3:14It's absolutely the truth, guys.
- 3:17And so I want to give you 30
- 3:19points here today to help you on this.
- 3:24Number one, where your attention goes determines what
- 3:27your future becomes.
- 3:29Focus sets our direction before action ever begins
- 3:33to take flight.
- 3:34Number two, distraction is a silent productivity drain.
- 3:39It removes progress without any kind of warning.
- 3:42Number three, most people lose progress through scattered
- 3:46effort, not lack of effort.
- 3:49Fragmentation kills momentum.
- 3:51Number four, one clear goal outperforms multiple unclear
- 3:55ones.
- 3:56Clarity compresses time to results.
- 4:00I think a lot of people don't understand
- 4:02that when we get clear about something, right,
- 4:06we're going to take less time to execute.
- 4:08And not only that, guys, we're going to
- 4:11be able to understand the process better.
- 4:15So we can make it better each time.
- 4:17I think that's another important thing.
- 4:18Number five, attention is your most valuable daily
- 4:21resource.
- 4:22More than time, more than energy, okay?
- 4:26Number six, multitasking reduces execution quality.
- 4:31I see so many companies out there having
- 4:33these agents try to manage four, five, six,
- 4:37or more chats.
- 4:38Like, what are they doing?
- 4:39They really think that that's an effective way
- 4:42to run a company?
- 4:43I mean, people think if you multitask that
- 4:45you're going to be able to be more
- 4:46efficient, but you're going to give less quality
- 4:50of service.
- 4:51So that's important.
- 4:52So switching destroys momentum, guys.
- 4:54So when you're going from one chat to
- 4:55another chat, really bad.
- 4:57Number seven, what you consume programs how you
- 5:00think.
- 5:01Input becomes internal structure.
- 5:04Now, this does not happen overnight, but your
- 5:08mind and body start to gravitate toward this
- 5:11the more that you actually do this, okay?
- 5:16So that's important to understand.
- 5:17Number eight, your environment is training, your attention
- 5:21constantly.
- 5:23You are always being shaped.
- 5:25It never ends, guys.
- 5:27You're always getting better, or you could be
- 5:30getting worse depending on what you're doing.
- 5:32Number nine, focus creates opportunities that noise hides.
- 5:37Clarity reveals hidden paths.
- 5:40And people to this day still don't understand
- 5:42why a hidden path becomes visible when we
- 5:48have clarity.
- 5:49People just don't get that.
- 5:51But when something is clear, like when you're
- 5:53asked to do something, right?
- 5:54And you understand it, you execute it, right?
- 5:57But when you don't understand something, it's like,
- 5:59my gosh, what do I do again?
- 6:01Where do I start?
- 6:02I think that's the point.
- 6:05Number ten, reaction weakens direction.
- 6:11Control begins when reaction ends.
- 6:14I've always told you guys before to be
- 6:16proactive, not to be reactive.
- 6:19Reactive is a lot more expensive than being
- 6:22proactive.
- 6:22Proactive means that you have thought about the
- 6:25potentials of what could happen and plan for
- 6:29them so that you can actually figure out
- 6:32how you're gonna handle them if they come
- 6:34up, because when they come up, it's more
- 6:37costly.
- 6:38It's more time consuming.
- 6:39I use the analogy of a fire all
- 6:40the time.
- 6:41And I say that because you always wanna
- 6:43be prepared for a fire.
- 6:45So I wanna just dive in, this is
- 6:46important.
- 6:47So what do you need to have to
- 6:51prepare for a fire?
- 6:54What do you need to have to prepare
- 6:55for a fire?
- 6:56So working smoke detectors, right?
- 6:58Carbon monoxide detectors in every level of the
- 7:01home.
- 7:02A practice family escape plan with two ways
- 7:04out of every room.
- 7:06And a portable go bag packed with at
- 7:09least 72 hours of essential supplies.
- 7:12So there's more, like water and food, three
- 7:14gallons of water per person.
- 7:16And three days of non-perishable foods.
- 7:20Don't forget a manual can opener, cuz you
- 7:22won't be able to open that stuff.
- 7:23Vital documents, keep physical or digital copies.
- 7:29Make sure you have a recharger for your
- 7:32cell phone.
- 7:33Medications and first aid, electronics and safety.
- 7:37A hand crank or a battery powered weather
- 7:39radio.
- 7:40Extra batteries, phone charging cables, N95 masks to
- 7:44filter any smoke.
- 7:45If you have any cash and valuables, because
- 7:47ATMs may be down, small bills.
- 7:51And pet needs, leashes, carriers, three days of
- 7:55food for the pet.
- 7:57Home safety tools, alarms.
- 7:59Like I said, installing smoke alarms in every
- 8:01level of your home, testing them.
- 8:03Not too long ago, I put in the
- 8:05smoke detectors that last, what is it?
- 8:06Five or ten years.
- 8:07You don't have to change the battery, but
- 8:10you have to just change the whole unit,
- 8:11but it's every five or ten years.
- 8:13Fire extinguishers, keep at least one ABC rated
- 8:16fire extinguisher in the kitchen.
- 8:17Ensure all family members know the PASS method.
- 8:21What is that?
- 8:22Pull, aim, squeeze, sweep.
- 8:24So you pull, you aim, you squeeze, and
- 8:28you sweep, okay?
- 8:29You pull the pin, you aim, you squeeze,
- 8:32and you sweep, okay?
- 8:34We actually call that something we call the
- 8:36PASS method.
- 8:37Pull, aim, squeeze, and sweep.
- 8:40Flashlights, place durable flashlights and extra batteries in
- 8:44various rooms.
- 8:45Do not rely on candles during a power
- 8:47outage, never.
- 8:48Your escape plan, two ways out.
- 8:50Identify two exits, a door, a window for
- 8:53every room in your house.
- 8:55A meeting place, designate a safe place that
- 8:58you're gonna meet.
- 8:59Practice the drill.
- 9:01A lot of people have these great ideas,
- 9:02but then they figure out they don't know
- 9:04how to do them, and that becomes a
- 9:05problem.
- 9:06Property protection, defensible space, clear brush, dry leaves,
- 9:11home alerts, sign up for local emergency notifications
- 9:13like Nixle, things like that.
- 9:15Those are all helpful things that you can
- 9:17do, but I wanna share that with you.
- 9:18Number 11, clarity reduces internal stress.
- 9:21Uncertainty creates anxiety.
- 9:23Yes, it does.
- 9:24Number 12, anything not aligned becomes mental interference.
- 9:29Noise is disguised distraction, in case you didn't
- 9:31know that.
- 9:32Number 13, busyness creates the illusion of progress.
- 9:37That's the way people say, my gosh, I'm
- 9:39so busy.
- 9:40And you assume because somebody's busy that they're
- 9:43successful.
- 9:43That does not mean that, it is an
- 9:46illusion of progress.
- 9:47Activity is not achievement.
- 9:50I'm sorry, guys, I'm just being truthful.
- 9:52Number 14, deep focus creates breakthrough results.
- 9:57Surface attention creates surface outcomes, right?
- 10:03And that's important.
- 10:05Number 15, what you allow into your mind
- 10:08defines the output quality.
- 10:10Input determines the performance, right?
- 10:13We said this with computers many years ago,
- 10:15good input in, good input out.
- 10:18Bad input in, bad input out, right?
- 10:20If you give it bad information, you're gonna
- 10:22have bad output.
- 10:23Number 16, eliminating low value habits strengthens attention.
- 10:31Reduction creates power.
- 10:36Reduction creates power.
- 10:40That's an important one.
- 10:40I think a lot of people, a lot
- 10:42of people I know miss that.
- 10:43They feel that, well, they don't need to
- 10:46reduce.
- 10:47Everyone else can reduce, but they don't have
- 10:48to.
- 10:50I think that could be a problem for
- 10:53a lot of people.
- 10:55And when I say a lot of people,
- 10:56I mean most people, because they're thinking that,
- 11:01oh, I don't have to reduce.
- 11:02Let somebody else reduce, right?
- 11:05That's just a bad thing, okay?
- 11:10Number 17, your mind adapts to repeated focus
- 11:16patterns.
- 11:18Repetition builds structure, okay?
- 11:23Number 18, you become what you repeatedly think
- 11:26about.
- 11:27Napoleon Hill said this best, we become what
- 11:29we think about most often.
- 11:31Thought repetition shapes our identity.
- 11:35The thing is, it doesn't happen right away,
- 11:38but it starts to grow on us.
- 11:42And suddenly, you can just have a new
- 11:45shift in your life, in your belief, in
- 11:48your perceptions, right?
- 11:51So I think that's a very important one.
- 11:54Number 19, guys, focus is a competitive advantage
- 11:59in modern life.
- 12:01It really is.
- 12:03A lot of people don't focus because they're
- 12:05too busy doing multiple things, trying to multitask.
- 12:08Attention wins in noisy environments.
- 12:12It does.
- 12:15And I think when we can focus on
- 12:17one clear thing, we can solve it, okay?
- 12:23The reason people have problems and challenges and
- 12:26emergencies, their mind is all over the place,
- 12:30right?
- 12:32Instead of focusing on one thing, they're focusing
- 12:34on everything else.
- 12:37Number 20, every distraction delays long-term progress.
- 12:43That's truth, guys.
- 12:46And delay compounds invisibly.
- 12:50So we don't notice that delay is causing
- 12:52us a problem, but actually, guys, it is
- 12:57causing us a problem, okay?
- 13:02That's a very, very big, big, big, big
- 13:07problem.
- 13:08And it's hard for people to understand that,
- 13:14you know?
- 13:17I think a lot of people don't understand,
- 13:19you know, why that happens, but it's the
- 13:22truth, right?
- 13:24It's the truth because most people get stuck,
- 13:30okay?
- 13:31Most people get stuck.
- 13:35And they don't want to get stuck, but
- 13:37they do get stuck.
- 13:42They absolutely do get stuck.
- 13:46I think that's a very important thing for
- 13:49a lot of people to, I'm going to
- 13:52say, realize.
- 13:54I want to go ahead and stop for
- 13:56a moment and give a shout-out because
- 13:58today is Sunday.
- 14:00And, you know, on Sundays and Thursdays, we
- 14:02give a shout-out to a local coffee
- 14:07shop or restaurant.
- 14:08Today's shout-out is actually going to go
- 14:10out to Chapters & Coffee.
- 14:15They're located here in New Jersey.
- 14:20They're not very far.
- 14:23They're in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, 445 New
- 14:26Jersey 23.
- 14:29And I'm giving a shout-out to them.
- 14:32Thank you for all that you do.
- 14:34So they have basically some interesting designs I've
- 14:39seen on their coffees.
- 14:40And they have an interesting menu.
- 14:42I took a look at their menu briefly.
- 14:44They have things like espressos, Americanos, lattes, cappuccinos,
- 14:49drips.
- 14:49I remember the Americano.
- 14:50I had that when I was in Italy.
- 14:52Signature lattes and hotter iced, plot twist, storyteller,
- 14:57the bookmark, cozy chapter.
- 14:58They also have neat little names for things
- 15:00that they make.
- 15:00The matcha strawberry, matcha match London Fog, tea
- 15:04and non-coffee, chai latte, green tea, black
- 15:07tea, and seasonal tea.
- 15:10Of course, they have other things like croissants,
- 15:12savories, like chili cheese, cheddars, scallions, danishes that
- 15:18are assorted, cranberry scones, seasonal monkey bread, sticky
- 15:21bread.
- 15:22Sounds pretty cool.
- 15:23So I'm reaching out to you guys at
- 15:25Chapter & Coffee.
- 15:27And the reason I'm doing this here tonight
- 15:28on the Inspiration to Your Life show is
- 15:30we would like to extend an invitation for
- 15:34you to ask us to come to your
- 15:36shop and do a live show, which we'll
- 15:39later rebroadcast.
- 15:41It doesn't cost you anything.
- 15:42It takes about 15 minutes before we get
- 15:44started.
- 15:45And then we do the show for about
- 15:4727 minutes.
- 15:48After that, we'll close out.
- 15:51We'll do a live short author talk on
- 15:54my book, Trained to Driven.
- 15:55Then we'll do some Q&A, and then
- 15:57we'll have an author signing.
- 15:59If that sounds like something interesting and you
- 16:01want to help build community like I do,
- 16:03I encourage you to go to jcmacademy.com.
- 16:06Once you visit jcmacademy.com, it's really simple.
- 16:10You're going to go over to the right
- 16:11-hand side and click on the Contact Us
- 16:13button, and you could just put down there
- 16:15where it says, Subject asked us to do
- 16:20a show at your location.
- 16:21And so we would love to do that
- 16:23and create some more community.
- 16:26Number 21, obsession creates outcomes faster than interest.
- 16:31Intensity determines the speed.
- 16:33Number 22, winners protect their attention aggressively.
- 16:36They guard focus as an asset.
- 16:39Number 23, building requires sustained attention, not scattered
- 16:49effort.
- 16:51Construction needs continuity.
- 16:56But a lot of people just build with
- 16:59whatever they've got, and it becomes a mess,
- 17:04right?
- 17:05It becomes a real mess.
- 17:06Number 24, consistency compounds results quietly.
- 17:12Small focus creates large outcomes.
- 17:14And I think a lot of people don't
- 17:16understand that concept, that that's how it works.
- 17:20It's the small things we do.
- 17:23The 20% of what we do is
- 17:24going to give us 80% of our
- 17:25results.
- 17:27You spend your time on all this other
- 17:28stuff, but that's not what's going to give
- 17:30you your results, unfortunately.
- 17:32So this is important to understand, guys.
- 17:36Number 25, most people quit before focus ever
- 17:41has a chance to compound.
- 17:43It's like if you ever made popcorn.
- 17:46I remember when I was younger and we
- 17:48made popcorn a couple different ways, still do.
- 17:50You can do it with a microwave, which
- 17:51isn't the healthiest way.
- 17:51You can do it with the air popper,
- 17:52which is great.
- 17:53But we used to do it in, it's
- 17:57kind of like a popcorn maker.
- 18:00And you'd put like, I think it was
- 18:03a tablespoon or two of, we started putting
- 18:06canola oil, because it's better than regular oil.
- 18:08And then we would put in like, I
- 18:10don't know, I think we put in like
- 18:11maybe a small cup or a quarter cup
- 18:17of popcorn kernels.
- 18:20I remember we used to have a Redenbacher.
- 18:22And then that had to warm up and
- 18:23heat up.
- 18:23And once it did, and you kind of
- 18:25wait there, maybe waiting there, waiting there.
- 18:27And when it got hot enough, you know
- 18:29what happened?
- 18:30You start to pop.
- 18:31You pop, pop, pop.
- 18:32A little different than the microwave.
- 18:34And then what would happen is if it
- 18:36didn't, if it didn't pop, and then we
- 18:38would just kind of shake it around.
- 18:39But nobody does anymore.
- 18:40Everybody does air popping, air popping supposedly a
- 18:42lot better.
- 18:43But I remember that.
- 18:44So there was a payoff with a lot
- 18:46of kernels being popped, but you had to
- 18:49be patient.
- 18:50You know, people always said it's like waiting
- 18:51for the teakettle to boil.
- 18:53When I was probably about maybe, I don't
- 18:56know, 12, maybe a little younger, we got
- 18:59InstaHop, which was the greatest amenity and can't
- 19:01live without InstaHop.
- 19:02They say go to the sink and there's
- 19:04a special faucet there that's like 195 degrees.
- 19:06And my water's there for teas, for soups,
- 19:10whatever I need hot water for.
- 19:12And it's also great to clean things if
- 19:13you want to clean something real quick.
- 19:15195 degrees, it's like a, you know, like
- 19:17a couple gallon thing that constantly keeps the
- 19:19water hot.
- 19:20But the payoff and waiting for that's pretty
- 19:23cool.
- 19:25Number 26, guys, results appear sustained.
- 19:30And it comes not after immediate effort.
- 19:34We have to delay because it takes time
- 19:37for that to happen.
- 19:39Number 27, cutting unnecessary inputs sharpens the clarity.
- 19:45Reduction improves precision, guys.
- 19:47It does.
- 19:49But a lot of people think, oh, you
- 19:50know, we just have to keep doing more
- 19:51things because the more we do, the better
- 19:52we're going to get.
- 19:53No, the more cloudy you make the water,
- 19:56right, the worse it is to drink.
- 19:59I think that's a very important thing to
- 20:03understand for those of you watching or listening
- 20:06today.
- 20:07You know, reduction is the key.
- 20:10We talk about cost cutting in business, right?
- 20:12But we talk about reduction in things like
- 20:15maybe you're baking and you're doing too many
- 20:17steps.
- 20:17Maybe you need to reduce that, right?
- 20:19Depending, right?
- 20:20Maybe you're building and maybe you need to
- 20:22reduce the steps.
- 20:24These are all things that you can do.
- 20:26But most people think when you talk about
- 20:28reduction that it's not going to go anywhere.
- 20:31Reduction can save you money.
- 20:33Reduction can help with clarity.
- 20:35Because if we break things into smaller tasks,
- 20:37guys, you know what happens?
- 20:39It becomes easier.
- 20:41It becomes easier.
- 20:43Number 28, saying no protects your future.
- 20:46We've said this before, direction.
- 20:50And by knowing, saying no to your future
- 20:53direction, that's a problem, guys.
- 20:56Saying no to your future direction.
- 20:58So you have to say yes to yourself
- 21:00and no to others.
- 21:02Refusal creates space.
- 21:05Oh, no thank you.
- 21:06Oh, I'm doing something tonight.
- 21:08Gives you your space to do what you're
- 21:09best at doing.
- 21:13A lot of people feel that if they
- 21:14say no to you, oh my gosh, I'm
- 21:15going to be a terrible person.
- 21:16No.
- 21:17You're entitled to be that person.
- 21:20You're entitled to have that freedom.
- 21:25Shouldn't feel like it's a crime.
- 21:28Shouldn't let people manipulate you because oh my
- 21:32gosh, I can't believe you're not doing this
- 21:34for me.
- 21:35That's what it comes down to, guys.
- 21:37That's what it comes down to.
- 21:40I think that's an important thing that many
- 21:42people, they just don't realize what it's about.
- 21:47They don't understand that.
- 21:50Number 29, guys.
- 21:52Discipline strengthens attention over time.
- 21:57I didn't say overnight.
- 21:59Structure builds control.
- 22:02I said we need two things for success.
- 22:04What did I tell you?
- 22:05I said this many times before.
- 22:06Structure and consistency.
- 22:08If you have structure without consistency, you can't
- 22:12have success.
- 22:13If you have consistency and no structure, you
- 22:18also can't have success.
- 22:19You have to do something repeatedly over and
- 22:22over again and being consistent.
- 22:24You don't lose weight by deciding to take
- 22:28a walk once or deciding to watch what
- 22:31you eat one day.
- 22:32No, you don't.
- 22:34Number 30, guys.
- 22:36Locking in focus is the foundation of all
- 22:39achievement.
- 22:41You might say, John, what is focus going
- 22:44to do for me?
- 22:44So focus gets us to put our resources
- 22:48on something, and our mind becomes laser pointed
- 22:51to that, and nothing else should distract us.
- 22:55When we do that, magic transforms in our
- 23:03body and our lives.
- 23:05I like to call them mini epiphanies, and
- 23:08these things can really take us from levels
- 23:12that we didn't even know existed before.
- 23:16Everything starts, guys, with attention control.
- 23:22If you're wondering why you're not getting somewhere,
- 23:24I'm going to ask you something.
- 23:26What is it you're doing during your day?
- 23:30And you say to me, John, I don't
- 23:30know.
- 23:31I don't do anything.
- 23:32Well, if you're not doing anything, that could
- 23:33be a big problem, right?
- 23:34And the thing is, you focus on things.
- 23:37Whether you're aware of them or not, you
- 23:38still focus on stuff.
- 23:40I mean, that's the truth.
- 23:41I mean, honestly, that's the truth.
- 23:44And if you're saying to me, John, I'm
- 23:45not focusing, I think I'm going to say
- 23:46you're lying because you're focusing on something.
- 23:49Whether you're aware of it or not, you're
- 23:51still focusing on something.
- 23:52And what we tell our conscious mind to
- 23:54pay attention to, our subconscious mind says, hey,
- 23:56you know what?
- 23:57Maybe I should pay attention to it.
- 23:58Now, sometimes our subconscious mind will think about
- 24:01stuff that our conscious mind's not thinking about,
- 24:03right?
- 24:04Because our subconscious mind basically runs our body.
- 24:11Our subconscious mind does things like make sure
- 24:13our heart is beating, make sure we're breathing,
- 24:17right?
- 24:17Things that can't stop for us to stay
- 24:21alive.
- 24:23So that runs our body, that regulates our
- 24:26sleep, okay?
- 24:30And then conscious things like, you know, lifting
- 24:32my hand or moving my hand, that's conscious.
- 24:37But we can make our conscious and subconscious.
- 24:42Now, when you change your life and you
- 24:44don't like something, you can dive into the
- 24:47subconscious and say, wait a minute.
- 24:48Oh, that's what I'm thinking.
- 24:49Oh, I want to change that.
- 24:51When you make the subconscious become aware to
- 24:55you, then it becomes conscious.
- 24:57And then you have the power, guys, to
- 24:58change it.
- 24:59So ladies and gentlemen, as I'm wrapping up
- 25:01here today, here is the truth.
- 25:04Are you guys ready for the truth?
- 25:05Can you handle the truth?
- 25:06You sure?
- 25:07Okay.
- 25:08So this is really the key and it's
- 25:11not hard.
- 25:13What you choose to focus on does not
- 25:17just influence your results.
- 25:22What you choose to focus on does not
- 25:24influence your results.
- 25:28Okay?
- 25:28What you choose to focus on does not
- 25:31just influence your results.
- 25:36It's part of it.
- 25:37It's not everything.
- 25:38So what you choose to focus on does
- 25:39not just influence your results.
- 25:41It becomes your results.
- 25:47That's wild.
- 25:50But I've learned with life, and this is
- 25:51something that took me a long time to
- 25:53learn, we can change our perceptions and our
- 25:56shifts with just some subtle awareness.
- 26:06You suddenly get an inspiration.
- 26:08The inspiration was there the whole time, but
- 26:10because you changed your perspective, it's now ready
- 26:15for withdrawal.
- 26:17That's how it works.
- 26:18We have a lot going on in our
- 26:20advanced computer brain, but it doesn't get to
- 26:26a point that could be output until we're
- 26:28conscious of it.
- 26:30If your attention is scattered, your life becomes
- 26:34scattered.
- 26:35Now, can the subconscious do a thing?
- 26:37Sure it can, but it's when that connection
- 26:40crosses over that we have the epiphany.
- 26:43Your subconscious can get you to do things.
- 26:46When the conscious mind becomes, hey, what are
- 26:49you doing?
- 26:50Oh, wow.
- 26:51That's a miracle.
- 26:52That's an epiphany.
- 26:53We've crossed the line between subconscious and conscious.
- 26:59Many people think this is like quack stuff.
- 27:03It's not.
- 27:04It's reality.
- 27:06It's reality.
- 27:08There was a book I read a long
- 27:10time ago called Dianetics, and it was talking
- 27:12about when you go into a subconscious state,
- 27:15maybe a subconscious state, and it could be
- 27:17from things like it could be an accident
- 27:19or something else that happens, not a trance
- 27:21so much.
- 27:23The data is still going in, but it's
- 27:26going in somewhere else.
- 27:27It's actually going into our subconscious, and then
- 27:31you wonder why you're doing certain things, and
- 27:34you have to kind of deprogram that stuff
- 27:36that got put into your head.
- 27:38If your attention is directed, your life becomes
- 27:42directed.
- 27:43I think that's a good enough reason that
- 27:44you should pay attention.
- 27:46So choose carefully because your focus is always
- 27:49building something.
