And today we're revisiting the zoo again. Last time we said the lion is strong and the elephant is slow. Luna: Oh right. సింహం బలంగా ఉంది and ఏనుగు మెల్లగా ఉంది. I remember those. Lucas: Good memory. But now, let's practice more descriptions. Lucas: Alright. Today we'll add some more. Let's start with a new one: 'the monkey is small.' In Telugu, కోతి చిన్నది. Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. That's cute. కోతి is monkey, చిన్నది is small. Lucas: Exactly. Now you try. Say 'the monkey is small.' Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. Lucas: Perfect. Now another one: 'the tiger is beautiful.' In Telugu, పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Luna: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. That's a mouthful. పులి is tiger, అందంగా is beautiful. Lucas: Right. And ఉంది means 'is.' So పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Repeat it. Luna: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Lucas: Great. Now let's review the old ones too. 'The lion is strong' in Telugu? Luna: సింహం బలంగా ఉంది. Lucas: And 'the elephant is slow'? Luna: ఏనుగు మెల్లగా ఉంది. Lucas: Excellent. And let's add one more: 'the lion is big.' In Telugu, సింహం పెద్దది. Luna: సింహం పెద్దది. So పెద్దది means big. Lucas: Yes. For animals, we use పెద్దది. Now say all four: lion is strong, elephant is slow, monkey is small, tiger is beautiful. Luna: Okay. సింహం బలంగా ఉంది. ఏనుగు మెల్లగా ఉంది. కోతి చిన్నది. పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Lucas: Wow, you nailed it. Now imagine we are at the zoo. I see the lion and say సింహం పెద్దది. What do you say about the tiger? Luna: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Lucas: And the monkey? Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. Lucas: Wonderful. So today we practiced: సింహం బలంగా ఉంది, ఏనుగు మెల్లగా ఉంది, కోతి చిన్నది, పులి అందంగా ఉంది, and సింహం పెద్దది. Luna: That's five phrases. I feel like I can describe a whole zoo now.
