  had personally experienced sage working against a dark entity

  and a lot of you asked me to elaborate on what I meant by

  into detail on that in particular, but everything else

  that I experienced and what I would consider to be arguably

  the most haunted place I've ever personally experienced and in

  all honesty. I still get chills.

  Appalachia with at the. Time were my 2 best friends,

  another couple named Bob and Brittany and my now
• 1:26
  ex-girlfriend Megan. I was lucky enough to have been
• 1:28
  successful during that time and had the means to travel and
• 1:32
  explore the country a little bit.
• 1:34
  I had been visiting them at their house in Missouri.
• 1:36
  Prior to our. Trip in Kentucky and we'd been
• 1:39
  conducting various paranormal investigations, spirit box
• 1:43
  sessions and other. Coal related activities before.
• 1:46
  And throughout the time frame in which this particular event
• 1:49
  takes place, I feel like it's important to mention this
• 1:53
  because although I don't think it was the main cause of the
• 1:56
  haunting, it certainly could have been a contributing factor.
• 1:59
  We decided to venture from Missouri to Kentucky not only to
• 2:02
  continue our investigations, but to.
• 2:05
  Explore various caves. Within the larger Mammoth Cave
• 2:08
  system that spans all throughout Appalachia, being one of the
• 2:12
  oldest places in the world. I feel like it.
• 2:14
  Carries its own kind of ancient energy, and this could certainly
• 2:18
  be why. Appalachia, of all places.
• 2:20
  Has such a haunted reputation and being in a position to be.
• 2:24
  Able to step foot. Within the system itself, among
• 2:27
  many other activities, I wanted to see it all.
• 2:30
  Considering it was my first time not only doing longer term
• 2:34
  traveling and investigations, but spelunking as well, I was
• 2:38
  nervous but excited. Prior to our arrival.
• 2:41
  Bob had booked us an Airbnb located in Nancy, KY, having had
• 2:46
  a long drive down from where we were in.
• 2:48
  Missouri, but eager to. Explore.
• 2:50
  We had. Visited a few.
• 2:51
  Caves and spots before heading to our main destination cave.
• 2:56
  Prior to this, we arrived at the.
• 2:58
  Airbnb, which at the time was called Royce Place, according to
• 3:02
  the sign out front to load our things in and get.
• 3:05
  Ready for the? Exploration that evening.
• 3:08
  The house itself was. Fairly unassuming, it was a
• 3:12
  fairly normal looking house all things considered.
• 3:15
  It was located kind of in the middle of nowhere.
• 3:17
  There was a large swath. Of land between any of the
• 3:20
  homes, so albeit people were nearby.
• 3:23
  Ish. They were spaced out pretty far
• 3:27
  the house. Had a wrap around porch and.
• 3:29
  A white shop. Building that was located next
• 3:32
  to the driveway of the house and the yard.
• 3:35
  We first noticed things were slightly strange when upon
• 3:38
  following the directions. Which said to use.
• 3:40
  The back sliding door to enter the home that the sliding door
• 3:44
  which led to a sunroom of sorts was unlocked and so was the door
• 3:48
  leading from that room into the house, despite there being a.
• 3:51
  Keypad with a code. Because this isn't normally the
• 3:54
  case when you check into an Airbnb, you know typically you
• 3:58
  would. Use that code to.
• 3:59
  Get in or there'd be a key stash somewhere or the person would
• 4:02
  meet you there. So at least from my experience I
• 4:05
  can't say that that's a normal thing.
• 4:07
  Me and Bob who is ex military then swept the house and nothing
• 4:12
  seemed out of the ordinary. We thought this was odd to say
• 4:15
  the. Least and messaged the owner of
• 4:17
  the property and asked if this was normal for them.
• 4:20
  They responded by saying that their mother lived nearby and
• 4:24
  occasionally cleaned the. Property prior to arrival.
• 4:27
  And that she had. Probably.
• 4:28
  Just left things unlocked. For us.
• 4:30
  Thinking that answer was fair enough, we let things be, and
• 4:34
  little did we know that it was an omen of stranger things to
• 4:38
  come. We left the property.
• 4:40
  After gearing up for. Escapades.
• 4:42
  And had quite the interesting time to.
• 4:44
  Say the least. With our adventure that night in
• 4:46
  The Cave on our way out, we weren't sure how we didn't
• 4:50
  notice it before because this information wasn't listed on the
• 4:53
  Airbnb listing whatsoever. But there was.
• 4:56
  A Civil War Memorial. Located like half a.
• 4:59
  Mile from the house and upon closer inspection, it was not
• 5:02
  only a memorial but a mass grave in.
• 5:05
  Battlefield. It was dedicated.
• 5:07
  To the Confederate. Soldiers who had died.
• 5:09
  There, and besides the numerous graves, we noticed.
• 5:13
  That the battlefield itself. Actually spanned up to and.
• 5:16
  Possibly past the property. Line where we were staying.
• 5:20
  Being a huge fan of history, I thought this was extremely cool.
• 5:23
  To be honest, I'd never until that point visited any civil.
• 5:27
  War, battlefield or graveyard? Or memorial or anything.
• 5:31
  So I was pretty. Excited to experience that, and
• 5:34
  it was even more interesting to imagine the battle itself taking
• 5:38
  place, where I was standing at the time and where I'd be laying
• 5:40
  my head down. To rest.
• 5:43
  We went and explored our. Caves for hours.
• 5:45
  We ended up going miles into a particular cave opening and
• 5:49
  well, it was interesting to say the least.
• 5:51
  After our adventure was said and done, we were pretty exhausted
• 5:55
  and decided. To head back to the house to
• 5:57
  relax. For the rest of the night upon
• 5:59
  arrival as all. Four of us got out of the.
• 6:02
  Car and headed. To the back.
• 6:03
  Door to head in having had secured the house.
• 6:06
  Prior to. Leaving as well, we noticed that
• 6:09
  yet again the sliding back door and then the door headed into
• 6:12
  the house or unlocked. Me and Bob sent the girls back
• 6:15
  to the car and decided. To sweep the house.
• 6:17
  Yet again feeling much more apprehensive this time because
• 6:21
  surely this woman's mother had not randomly come back and left
• 6:25
  things unlocked again. Upon entering the home, we
• 6:28
  noticed that not only were these doors unlocked, but every window
• 6:33
  we could see was unlocked and open as well.
• 6:36
  The doors leading to the rooms were mostly open and the front
• 6:39
  door itself was also unlocked. Going room to room, following
• 6:44
  one another and searching for someone or a reason as to why
• 6:47
  things were the way they were. We began to notice some very
• 6:51
  bizarre things taking place Now, me and Bob and all.
• 6:55
  Of us, really. Have a good sense of humor but
• 6:57
  pranks weren't part of what we. Did or how we vibed?
• 7:02
  As we entered the room where Bob and Brittany would be sleeping,
• 7:05
  which was the master bedroom which had its own bathroom, we
• 7:08
  noticed that things were placed in different.
• 7:10
  Spots where they had. Been before.
• 7:12
  Versus our first sweep. Of the house, the mirror in the
• 7:15
  bathroom. Which was a large.
• 7:17
  Oval mirror that had been on the wall was not only off the wall,
• 7:20
  but it was laying on the floor and it was facing upright in the
• 7:24
  opposite corner and to the left of where it should have been.
• 7:28
  That alone freaked. Us out because the.
• 7:30
  Odds of it falling and not shattering and ending up not
• 7:34
  only. Face up, but.
• 7:35
  Completely not broken in any fashion.
• 7:39
  Like that? Threw our minds for a loop in
• 7:41
  and of itself. Then there were.
• 7:43
  These decorative glass leaves that.
• 7:45
  Had been on the dresser and they were moved into different spots
• 7:48
  on the dresser. Itself.
• 7:50
  And creepily. A statue of.
• 7:52
  Jesus and Mary, which had been on another table, was turned
• 7:56
  backwards when it had been facing the entrance to the door
• 7:59
  it had originally been on. Which was the.
• 8:01
  Position it had originally been in.
• 8:04
  At a loss for words, we. Vaguely discussed things and
• 8:07
  continued to look around the house.
• 8:09
  Inside the room where me and Megan would be staying laid one
• 8:13
  of those glass Leafs on the pillow side of the.
• 8:15
  Bed where I would be. Sleeping.
• 8:17
  What made that in particular beyond strange?
• 8:20
  Is that door? Had been closed and that was one
• 8:24
  of the only. Doors, that was still.
• 8:25
  Closed when we got there and did the sweep the second time around
• 8:29
  so. That's.
• 8:30
  Also an anomaly that I can't truly wrap my head around
• 8:34
  because the door was closed. I mean, I don't know how.
• 8:37
  Else the leaflet would. Have gotten in there unless
• 8:40
  someone grabbed it, oened the door, set it down on the pillow
• 8:43
  and then closed the door. Or it was something else,
• 8:45
  something I can't explain within that same room.
• 8:49
  And this was the exact thing with a lot of other things in
• 8:52
  other rooms. The closets were wide.
• 8:55
  Open and all of the everything that was within the closet, all
• 8:59
  the belongings. Such as towels.
• 9:02
  And blankets and extra pillows, et cetera.
• 9:04
  Were all tossed. Out onto the floor as if someone
• 9:07
  had like dragged them out or thrown them out in a fit of
• 9:09
  rage. This.
• 9:11
  Was also the case. Within the bathroom as well.
• 9:13
  Being freaked out to say the least, but no strangers to the
• 9:16
  paranormal. We decided to.
• 9:18
  Go and get the girls and explain just what was going on.
• 9:22
  We hadn't found anyone, but something was just not.
• 9:25
  Right about this place. Upon bringing the ladies inside
• 9:29
  and all sitting in the living room together.
• 9:31
  We decided to. Discuss what was happening.
• 9:34
  We decided collectively to. Try and do a spirit box session
• 9:38
  to see that if there was something there.
• 9:40
  Whatever it was. To see if it wanted to
• 9:42
  communicate as we gathered the things from our bags to try and
• 9:45
  initiate the session. Walking back into the split
• 9:49
  level from the kitchen area from the back entryway, we all began
• 9:52
  to hear a tapping sound and to explain.
• 9:55
  Where I was standing was within the kitchen area at this time
• 9:59
  and I was looking towards everyone who had made their way
• 10:02
  to the living room. And I kid you not, and this is a
• 10:06
  promise on the window above the sink.
• 10:09
  I saw a pale. Looking hand.
• 10:12
  Is the best way I could describe it.
• 10:14
  And it's nails were tapping on the glass as soon as I could
• 10:19
  voice what I had just seen, that there was a hand there,
• 10:23
  everyone. Rushed over to see.
• 10:24
  What was happening and with the scream, me, Brittany and Bob ran
• 10:29
  outside. We.
• 10:31
  Rushed towards that side of the house.
• 10:33
  And not only was there nothing there, but where the window.
• 10:37
  Was was at least. 15 to 20 feet away from the ground.
• 10:41
  Because there was a. Descending staircase that went
• 10:43
  into that basement at the split. Level of the house.
• 10:46
  Which was not occupied. By the way, we were also
• 10:49
  supposed to have full access. To the basement because I guess.
• 10:52
  There was supposed to be like a pool table.
• 10:55
  Down there and other. Activities but.
• 10:57
  That door in particular was not only locked, but it was like
• 11:00
  chain shut and the basement door.
• 11:04
  Which I'll get. To shortly, which was basically
• 11:07
  in between where the living room was and the hallway.
• 11:10
  That led to the. Bedrooms and the bathroom and
• 11:12
  all of that was completely locked as well.
• 11:14
  And it was not only locked at the handle level.
• 11:17
  But it was dead bolted too, so. There's no way that anyone could
• 11:21
  have been pranking us. It was quite.
• 11:23
  Literally a physical impossibility, albeit at the
• 11:27
  time we thought someone had to have been messing with us.
• 11:31
  I mean Bob. Is a real he's.
• 11:32
  A pretty tall guy. I mean, he's like. 646.
• 11:35
  Five and he stood where someone would have had to have been to
• 11:39
  reach up and unless. They were able to.
• 11:43
  Maneuver a 20 foot ladder from where that was and be pretty
• 11:47
  tall themselves. They would not have been able to
• 11:49
  put their hand up on that window and by the time we saw the hand
• 11:53
  to the time we ran outside to see what the hell was going on,
• 11:56
  if there was someone somehow messing with us, I mean we would
• 11:59
  have seen them running off. So after coming to this
• 12:03
  realization, we started walking back towards the front door and
• 12:07
  Brittany saw what she. Believed was a.
• 12:09
  Person at the edge of the driveway next to the trash cans
• 12:13
  and barefoot, mind you. It's it was.
• 12:15
  Really cold. I don't remember the exact
• 12:17
  temperature, but. It it couldn't.
• 12:19
  Have been more than like 20° outside.
• 12:21
  She's out there basically in in shorts and AT shirt and no shoes
• 12:26
  and just runs towards this thing with 0 hesitation only for there
• 12:30
  to be literally nothing there again thinking someone or a
• 12:34
  group of someone's are messing with us.
• 12:37
  We decided to sweep the property.
• 12:39
  And with our anxiety high now. We all three saw a tall,
• 12:43
  shadowy. Figure standing towards the back
• 12:46
  end of the shop building that I'd previously mentioned was on
• 12:49
  the property. Me and Brittany then at the same
• 12:52
  time ran opposite sides around the building thinking that if
• 12:57
  someone was there that we would corner them and catch them and
• 13:01
  and instead we just met one another in the middle on the
• 13:04
  other. Side utterly.
• 13:06
  Flabbergasted now, Brittany went back towards the front of the
• 13:09
  house while. Bob swept the backyard so.
• 13:12
  Basically there was a little garden slash backyard area that
• 13:16
  wasn't very big that was behind where.
• 13:19
  Basically that back. Door into the sun room and in
• 13:21
  the back end of the house was. So he was back.
• 13:23
  There and where that was just a large open field.
• 13:27
  So if someone had been messing with us and they took off that
• 13:31
  with all that open space on all sides and no hiding spots,
• 13:35
  there's no foliage or anything, we would have seen them.
• 13:38
  I was standing towards the back door facing where the shed was
• 13:42
  on the wrap around porch and with no wind.
• 13:45
  Mind you, the wind chime about 10 feet away from me began to
• 13:49
  Jingle and I don't think I've shared.
• 13:51
  This but I. Hate wind chimes.
• 13:54
  I don't know why they just creep me out.
• 13:57
  It's There's something unnerving about them to me, and when I
• 14:00
  heard this Jingle I then looked. Back towards the shed.
• 14:04
  And I again, and I kid you not, I saw the same.
• 14:08
  Tall shadowy figure. Standing there.
• 14:10
  That all three. Of us had seen previously I.
• 14:14
  Feel like it was. Staring into my soul and it
• 14:17
  began to glide. Backwards towards the field.
• 14:20
  Until it just dissipated fully into nothingness.
• 14:23
  At that moment I knew that without a doubt, whatever this
• 14:27
  thing was or these things were, that they were paranormal in
• 14:31
  nature, that something that we couldn't see was messing with us
• 14:36
  and I wanted to know why. Heading back into the house, I
• 14:40
  convened with everyone in the living room and they began to
• 14:43
  inform me that things had continued to move on their own
• 14:46
  accord when we had all been with one another or within view of
• 14:49
  one another the entire time. Still in semi denial at this
• 14:53
  point. We even tried to contact the
• 14:56
  local police, but there was no one at the.
• 14:59
  Office like that's how. Rural we were, which to me is a
• 15:02
  wild concept considering I've always had law enforcement
• 15:06
  available to me if I needed them.
• 15:08
  With items continuing to move and the mood being
• 15:11
  overwhelmingly negative and frankly pretty terrifying,
• 15:15
  Brittany ended up initiating a cleansing of the home using sage
• 15:19
  and sigils upon lighting the bundle.
• 15:22
  Of herbs, the activity. Seemed to kick into.
• 15:25
  OverDrive. Then a massive series of bangs
• 15:30
  came from that locked basement door.
• 15:33
  Feeling a personal challenge, Brittany then drew a sigil onto
• 15:37
  the basement door and then onto the front door.
• 15:39
  Of the house itself. And ordered the entity to leave
• 15:43
  the home. This whole experience was insane
• 15:47
  to see happen in real time to say the.
• 15:50
  Least. I mean, this was and I think
• 15:54
  aside from maybe one other experience that I'll go into
• 15:57
  another time as well, which. Was at the Sally house has to.
• 16:01
  Be the most aggressive haunting I've ever experienced.
• 16:05
  I mean the things that were happening and and how fast they
• 16:08
  were happening were mind boggling.
• 16:12
  Following this, things seem to calm down within the house
• 16:15
  itself at. Least where we were.
• 16:17
  At however, it wasn't the end. Knocks and bangs continue to
• 16:22
  surround. Us, but they all.
• 16:24
  Came from outside of the house or from that basement door.
• 16:28
  By this point it was really late, like probably 3:00 to 4:00
• 16:31
  AM from what I can remember and what's.
• 16:34
  Crazy is that. Bob and Brittany who were well
• 16:37
  versed in the occult, certainly much more than me and Meg were
• 16:41
  at the time. Decided to do.
• 16:43
  Of all things, go to sleep in the haunted ass house in the
• 16:47
  back bedroom where the mirror. The glass.
• 16:50
  Thieves and the Jesus and Mary statue kept moving.
• 16:53
  Because of course they. Would it actually became an
• 16:56
  inside joke between us? Because the Jesus statue.
• 16:59
  In particular, kept moving positions throughout the night.

  I mean, it moved, I want to say like a good four or five times,
• 17:06
  several times of which the door had been closed and we'd all
• 17:10
  been together prior to checking. We ended up calling it Break
• 17:13
  Dancing Jesus to make light of it all.
• 17:15
  Later. Now.
• 17:16
  Those 2GO lay. Down and I'm like I cannot wait
• 17:20
  to get. The hell out of here.
• 17:22
  But also I was exhausted. And not wanting to lay in the
• 17:26
  bedroom that was meant for us, I instead decided to go try and
• 17:30
  doze off in the living room. Meg who could sleep through a
• 17:33
  cyclone? Was able to fall asleep, but
• 17:36
  with. Me every single time I started.
• 17:39
  To doze off. I got a bang from behind my head
• 17:43
  on the wall from. Outside of the house.
• 17:46
  Whilst on the couch and then move to the floor.
• 17:49
  And I'm not exaggerating when I say this.
• 17:53
  That thing knocked on the basement ceiling where my head
• 17:56
  was, and I tried moving it, I want to say at least two other
• 18:00
  times, and it would just follow me.
• 18:02
  And it seemed like every time I dozed off.
• 18:05
  It would just. It would just mess with me.
• 18:08
  It would bang on the floor or the.
• 18:10
  Wall or. Wherever and just keep me awake
• 18:13
  once the morning sun pierced the sky and tapped out from lack of
• 18:17
  sleep and my adrenals running on high all night.
• 18:21
  Needless to say. I was ready to get out of there.
• 18:25
  I went and woke everyone back up so we could figure out another
• 18:28
  Airbnb to go to. We had originally decided A2
• 18:32
  night stay at Roy's. Place, but I decided to say.
• 18:36
  Screw it and take the loss on the second night because after
• 18:40
  messaging the owner and telling them what had happened all night
• 18:44
  she completely denied everything and said that we were trying to
• 18:47
  scam her despite just asking for a refund for the second night
• 18:52
  which we absolutely were not staying for.
• 18:55
  So how that's a scam? All I I can't do the math isn't
• 18:59
  mapping. So with our bags packed.
• 19:01
  We moved to another Airbnb. That I believe.
• 19:04
  Was near or end Lexington, KY and the vibe was entirely not
• 19:09
  weird at all and the place thank.
• 19:11
  God for the sake. Of my sleep that day was not
• 19:15
  haunted. Now what's funny is.
• 19:17
  That we'd booked the. Airbnb through Bob's account on
• 19:20
  the Airbnb app and the lady ended up leaving him a terrible
• 19:24
  review saying. That we were crazy.
• 19:26
  And we were trying to pull some kind of a scam.
• 19:29
  Which is hilarious. Mind you, but the irony.
• 19:32
  Is that despite this? And despite the positive.
• 19:36
  Reviews. Which I'm honestly convinced or
• 19:38
  fake at this point. The property itself was.
• 19:41
  Delisted as an Airbnb within about a month following our
• 19:45
  stay. Now considering how haunted the
• 19:48
  house was, the owner had to have known.
• 19:50
  Dude I have no clue how you wouldn't.
• 19:54
  Also the better at burial ground and the civil war battleground.
• 19:58
  None of that was listed as being attractions or anything, and
• 20:02
  considering it was that close, I mean up to and.
• 20:05
  Possibly past the property. Line.
• 20:07
  We thought that was weird. Too.
• 20:09
  Now I have no idea if anything entity.
• 20:12
  Wise had followed us. From prior paranormal
• 20:14
  investigations or spirit box sessions or the.
• 20:18
  Caves we had visited. Or anything.
• 20:20
  Previously, I have no idea if the haunting had anything to do
• 20:24
  with. The Civil War.
• 20:25
  Or battleground or memorial. Or what have you.
• 20:28
  Those questions I don't think I'll ever get answers to, but
• 20:32
  what I do know? Is that it?
• 20:34
  Very. Much was one of the most, again,
• 20:37
  if not the most aggressive, haunting or manifestation of the
• 20:41
  paranormal that I've ever seen. It not only was aggressive, but
• 20:46
  it seemed intelligent and calculated and unyielding.
• 20:51
  You know, I grew up in 2 haunted.
• 20:52
  Houses which those? Stories I've shared in their own
• 20:55
  video, which I'll link below, as well as in my second.
• 20:58
  Book which is stories. From the archives volume 2.

  And with those experiences, albeit there were many
• 21:04
  terrifying manifestations, they were much more spaced out.
• 21:09
  I definitely experienced what I would consider long term
• 21:12
  hauntings in this. Place AKA Royce Place.
• 21:16
  Was something else entirely in a league of its own, and I've
• 21:20
  experienced a lot of other places since then, and this one
• 21:24
  still prominently stands out anytime I think of a haunted
• 21:28
  place now. Those I've talked to about this
• 21:31
  story have. Asked me if I'd ever return and
• 21:34
  honestly, I had the time and resources and ability.
• 21:38
  I'll be it. It's not an Airbnb anymore.
• 21:41
  I think I would, despite being so scared the first time.
• 21:44
  At that point I hadn't been out in the field very long.
• 21:48
  I was pretty new to the occult and paranormal, Investigating
• 21:52
  and. All of the above.
• 21:53
  Certainly not necessarily the paranormal, but I wasn't nearly
• 21:57
  as desensitized as I am now. So if I did go.

  Back I definitely think I'd have a better handle on things
• 22:05
  emotionally and maybe not be as scared and I'd definitely be
• 22:09
  anticipating activity. Now I have reached out to
• 22:12
  everyone who was involved and asked them to share if they want

  to but with it being the holidays and the fact.

  That we all have. Different schedules and what
• 22:20
  not. It may take a while if anyone
• 22:22
  does share and what I'll probably do is.

  Gather. Those testimonies of either Bob,

  Brittany or Megan and. Basically do a follow up video

  so. They can share their

  perspectives on what happened and hopefully I'll be doing that

  in the near future. So yeah, that was my story to

  quite some time to come to terms with those experiences.

  Because they were, truly. Scary, and I do not scare

  easily, that I can assure you of.
