- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of the tat Seat
- 0:17Speaker 2: with myself, Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:19Speaker 3: And Tambra Judge, and we have a very special guest.
- 0:22Speaker 4: One of my dearest friends. Hi, that I never thought
- 0:25Speaker 4: would happened.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I still can't believe it when we say it, Tamra,
- 0:29Speaker 3: I still am like, yeah, I kind of really do. Digger.
- 0:34Speaker 2: So we've got Alexis Billino with us, which we noticed.
- 0:37Speaker 5: You didn't change your name and your Instagram yet. What's
- 0:40Speaker 5: going on.
- 0:41Speaker 3: It's gonna be a minute. I am legally Alexis Janssen, okay,
- 0:46Speaker 3: court document wise, however I.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Talk of you have already changed your name legally.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Well, now I don't know how it all works. We're
- 0:53Speaker 3: still figuring all that out. I talk about you a
- 0:55Speaker 3: lot when people ask me this question. I'm like, you know,
- 0:58Speaker 3: when I met Tamra, she was Tama Barney and she
- 1:00Speaker 3: didn't just instantly change the tree. You're done three.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Legally, I didn't change it for three years because it's
- 1:06Speaker 4: a pain in the ass.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Well, what the kids is the other thing?
- 1:09Speaker 4: There's no VIP line at DMV or so security office.
- 1:14Speaker 4: There's none of that. So you it's just it's just
- 1:16Speaker 4: time consuming and.
- 1:18Speaker 3: People know me Alexis Blino. So for work, I feel like,
- 1:21Speaker 3: do I keep it? Do I change it? You turned
- 1:23Speaker 3: over and it was just fine and no piccups with that.
- 1:27Speaker 3: But yeah, right now we're just in. I did put
- 1:29Speaker 3: it on my marriage license. I am going to be
- 1:31Speaker 3: Alexis Jansen. So then it's just now it's just all
- 1:34Speaker 3: the paperwork.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Like you said, Well, then, plus, when you have kids,
- 1:37Speaker 4: it's difficult when they're in.
- 1:38Speaker 3: School or doctors or any Yeah, it's like and they're
- 1:42Speaker 3: also like mom, but you're a blie or your kids,
- 1:44Speaker 3: and I'm like yeah, but a lot of people get
- 1:46Speaker 3: remarried and change their last time.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I would love for you to change that. It's personal.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Just throwing that business, it's personal.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, well moving on.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah, well, let's just start off with the fact that
- 2:03Speaker 4: you're married. You got married.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I am. I got the extra band. See it's little
- 2:08Speaker 3: because I actually never saw the extra band. Yeah, can
- 2:10Speaker 3: you we put the extra band? We did just a
- 2:13Speaker 3: little the same one. Custom it's turned around now, but yep,
- 2:16Speaker 3: and I'm not going to solder them because I might
- 2:18Speaker 3: want to just take the big rock off at some
- 2:19Speaker 3: point and just wear the little skinny guy.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 5: I love how that looks when it's beautiful skinny guy.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And that's I'm married, Tam.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I know. Can you believe that? Can you believe it?
- 2:29Speaker 5: Now?
- 2:29Speaker 3: And when I first started dating him, I said, we
- 2:32Speaker 3: can just stay engaged. We never need to get married again.
- 2:34Speaker 3: We both have our kids, we both have everything, and
- 2:37Speaker 3: then look what happens in two years.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And what would you say is your biggest excitement from
- 2:43Speaker 2: it all?
- 2:44Speaker 5: Like what's what's your happy spot from?
- 2:47Speaker 3: I mean, first of all, the day was more than
- 2:50Speaker 3: I could have even like I went in knowing exactly
- 2:52Speaker 3: what I wanted it to feel like, and it was
- 2:54Speaker 3: ten times more than that. But I think there is
- 2:58Speaker 3: a definite difference with marriage. And I don't know if
- 3:01Speaker 3: you feel this or not because you've been remarried, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 3: twice around it's or three times in my case, is
- 3:06Speaker 3: it's I don't know. I didn't feel this my first
- 3:08Speaker 3: time around. But the minute that we said I do,
- 3:12Speaker 3: and the minute I mean, our sex was even better.
- 3:16Speaker 3: And I'm like, how is that possible? Because we all
- 3:17Speaker 3: know that that was always great with our life. And
- 3:20Speaker 3: then I'm like, there's just this feeling. I don't know.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I don't know what it is. I don't know if
- 3:23Speaker 3: you felt that, Tamra when you had that with Eddie,
- 3:25Speaker 3: but like, yeah, there's this. When we woke up the
- 3:28Speaker 3: next morning, we were like, it does feel different. It's
- 3:31Speaker 3: before God. It's like it does there is something about it.
- 3:33Speaker 3: So thank God I turned my mind around instead of
- 3:37Speaker 3: saying no, we can stay engaged forever and then doing
- 3:39Speaker 3: I do before your family and friends and God, it
- 3:43Speaker 3: was like.
- 3:44Speaker 4: You had a very spiritual ceremony. Yes, Now the pastor
- 3:48Speaker 4: that married you, is this a longtime friend? Is he
- 3:53Speaker 4: the pastor at your church? Like, and by the way,
- 3:56Speaker 4: it was hot.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I'm sure his wife will agree with you.
- 4:00Speaker 4: He was hot.
- 4:02Speaker 3: He has he's literally forty, just turned forty. He has
- 4:04Speaker 3: four children, two adopted and two biological. And so they
- 4:09Speaker 3: have four children at forty years old, from five to
- 4:12Speaker 3: like two. I mean, they're busy and they're in the
- 4:17Speaker 3: thick of it. So the funny story about this church,
- 4:20Speaker 3: you know, I'm pastor Jens and Franklin Free Chapel is
- 4:23Speaker 3: where I actually come from. It's Donald Trump's private pastor now,
- 4:26Speaker 3: but anyway, he's the pastor I was. Pastor Jensen Franklin
- 4:31Speaker 3: is the pastor that I my family grew up with.
- 4:35Speaker 3: I've have like I have the cell phones. We've gone
- 4:37Speaker 3: to their family events, like we grew up in that church.
- 4:40Speaker 3: But anyway, so this new pastor that we've only been
- 4:44Speaker 3: at this church for about three or four years. James
- 4:46Speaker 3: plays on the worship team. James actually found this church.
- 4:50Speaker 3: It's a very youth driven church. It's a lot of
- 4:52Speaker 3: like when John and I go, we're kind of the
- 4:54Speaker 3: oldest people there, but there's like a lot of other
- 4:57Speaker 3: parents and everybody comes. Now It's it's growing huge. They
- 4:59Speaker 3: just bought their first building. James, when I was at
- 5:01Speaker 3: rockbottom with my mom and I was you know, I
- 5:04Speaker 3: told I shared this with you. I told God. I
- 5:06Speaker 3: hated him for a few months because I was so
- 5:09Speaker 3: I was so broken watching what my mom went through,
- 5:11Speaker 3: thinking there's people out there that deserve that kind of
- 5:14Speaker 3: a death. But my mom, who won't even kill a
- 5:16Speaker 3: spider and praises God and loves the world and loves people,
- 5:20Speaker 3: is going through this unbelievably horrible experience. So I did
- 5:24Speaker 3: say hey, God, and so James found this church and literally, James,
- 5:29Speaker 3: my son is one of the saving graces, and he
- 5:32Speaker 3: just kept praying behind closed doors, like bring mom back
- 5:35Speaker 3: to you Lord, and we I mean, it is our
- 5:38Speaker 3: home church now and we've been these games for years.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Very religious, I would say spiritual. He he does have
- 5:45Speaker 3: a pastoral heart. I wouldn't want that for him because
- 5:48Speaker 3: I know pastors have a very difficult life. But he
- 5:51Speaker 3: will find his own path. But yes, he plays on
- 5:54Speaker 3: the worship team. He goes, even Kenna, they go to
- 5:57Speaker 3: instead of going to parties. There are a Tuesday night
- 5:58Speaker 3: at church bringing all their friends and youth to Kenna
- 6:01Speaker 3: just started a church group at her public school high school.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Like they're they're very into.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Me and Kenna are now friends on Instagram.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I'm just o case.
- 6:08Speaker 4: She didn't know that.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Okay, well watch every posts. She's only seven, oh, turning eighteen.
- 6:17Speaker 3: We don't even watch every single thing.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Well.
- 6:19Speaker 4: James led the prayer at your wedding and I saw,
- 6:21Speaker 4: I mean I got teary eyed.
- 6:23Speaker 3: It was beautiful and he wanted to We wanted to
- 6:26Speaker 3: give each kid the where they wanted to be part
- 6:28Speaker 3: of the wedding because we didn't have a wedding party.
- 6:30Speaker 3: It was it was our children, and so the twins
- 6:34Speaker 3: wanted the cake because that they wanted the cake and
- 6:36Speaker 3: they wanted to do the cake cutting, but they also
- 6:37Speaker 3: wanted to say a toast. But when when James we
- 6:40Speaker 3: offered him you could either pray at the rehearsal dinner
- 6:42Speaker 3: or at the wedding. But the wedding's gona have one
- 6:43Speaker 3: hundred and fifty people. Are you going to feel comfortable
- 6:46Speaker 3: with that? It's so I remember a week before the
- 6:47Speaker 3: wedding and I go, Babe, I don't want to I
- 6:50Speaker 3: don't want to be like the fly on the wall
- 6:52Speaker 3: or like the nat the bothering you. But like, you
- 6:54Speaker 3: can't just go out and wing it. You need to
- 6:56Speaker 3: write something for this wedding. And he's like, mom, I
- 6:59Speaker 3: got you. I'm like, are you sure? I'm like, and
- 7:02Speaker 3: I sent him a couple of examples of other because
- 7:04Speaker 3: he's not done a wedding before, and he's just like
- 7:08Speaker 3: he kept like rolling it off. He's like, Mom, I
- 7:10Speaker 3: got you. It's all it's fine, I got you. And
- 7:12Speaker 3: then that prayer made everybody in the room cry. There
- 7:15Speaker 3: was not a dry.
- 7:16Speaker 4: There was a lot of toasts that happened after that,
- 7:19Speaker 4: and I have to tell you, I don't know if
- 7:20Speaker 4: it was the champagne, but I wanted so bad. I
- 7:24Speaker 4: haven't even told you this. I so badly wanted. I
- 7:27Speaker 4: don't want to cry, get up there and talk to
- 7:31Speaker 4: you and toast to you and John, because you know
- 7:34Speaker 4: what we went through terrible times, like you know, being
- 7:37Speaker 4: on the show together was so difficult, but now our
- 7:40Speaker 4: friendship and our bond is so solid and so strong,
- 7:43Speaker 4: and I just wanted to get up there and cheers.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Did Jesus jugs, That's what I wanted to do that
- 7:54Speaker 4: I did, you know, when I'm in a lawsuit with
- 7:56Speaker 4: your ex husband, not me, I'm not you that I'd
- 8:00Speaker 4: standing up there with one of my good friends ex boyfriend.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I mean, you.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Can't even make this ship up. And I'm like, Tamra,
- 8:08Speaker 4: this is not your time. You just sit down, you
- 8:10Speaker 4: got I think I just would have said, like how
- 8:15Speaker 4: proud I am and I could see so much love
- 8:18Speaker 4: between the two of you guys, and how you know
- 8:21Speaker 4: the evolution of our friendship and where we are now
- 8:24Speaker 4: and how we are both different and in different spots
- 8:27Speaker 4: and in different marriages now, and how much I just
- 8:30Speaker 4: love you guys together.
- 8:33Speaker 5: That's nice.
- 8:35Speaker 3: My entire guestless probably would have loved you to do that.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I have to ask a guest this question because now
- 8:43Speaker 2: here we are.
- 8:46Speaker 5: What happened with Heather Dubrow?
- 8:48Speaker 3: Well, you guys are finding out at the same time
- 8:52Speaker 3: as I am, because Watch What Happens Live? Is really
- 8:53Speaker 3: what I mean? My text exchange with her doesn't show
- 8:57Speaker 3: the answer that she gave on Watch What Happens Live.
- 8:59Speaker 3: It's a different friendship that I feel like I thought
- 9:01Speaker 3: I had with her.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I'm what did she say on What Happens Live?
- 9:05Speaker 3: She said, gosh, okay, well now you're really throwing me. Okay,
- 9:08Speaker 3: so I haven't seen it in what two weeks ago now,
- 9:11Speaker 3: but something to the effect of give me a second.
- 9:14Speaker 3: It was something to the effect of, you know, well,
- 9:18Speaker 3: that's a complicated question because you know, I'm friends with
- 9:21Speaker 3: with with Shannon, and you know, Terry and I aren't
- 9:24Speaker 3: really friends with Alexis and John as a couple. I'm like,
- 9:28Speaker 3: what the F does that mean? And it's like, okay,
- 9:32Speaker 3: you're not because my text exchange show different. We've gone
- 9:35Speaker 3: to dinner several times together. I was I was literally
- 9:38Speaker 3: my chin was on the floor. But at the same time,
- 9:40Speaker 3: I'm like, Okay, she's gonna come up with something like
- 9:42Speaker 3: there's gonna be something following up with this, And then
- 9:44Speaker 3: it was just so it was so cold. I felt
- 9:49Speaker 3: her disingenuine from her, from the energy I felt from
- 9:53Speaker 3: her at that moment, I saw a shift in her
- 9:55Speaker 3: and it was like I felt at that point, I go, Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 3: I am just a TV friend of hers. I was
- 9:59Speaker 3: only always collateral damage as a TV friend because you know,
- 10:02Speaker 3: also keep in mind, Tamera, as you know, she shared
- 10:08Speaker 3: information on the end of season eighteen and disclosed private
- 10:12Speaker 3: information that was given to Heather by myself only for
- 10:15Speaker 3: her ears, not for the entire world to hear. And
- 10:19Speaker 3: you and I both know we share things with each
- 10:21Speaker 3: other that is not meant for the rest of the world, right,
- 10:23Speaker 3: you don't have.
- 10:24Speaker 4: To share Not sure what information she shared.
- 10:27Speaker 3: When you guys filmed the final scene on season eighteen
- 10:30Speaker 3: behind my back, yes, and she said, he has footage
- 10:34Speaker 3: of you hitting him. The fact that like the fact
- 10:37Speaker 3: that like Heather shared that information about her hitting him
- 10:41Speaker 3: with you all, and knowing that I had given her
- 10:45Speaker 3: that as a private moment, it was I'm baffled. That's
- 10:48Speaker 3: the first slap in my face. The second slap came
- 10:52Speaker 3: at Watch What Happens Live? When I would think she
- 10:53Speaker 3: would be like, yeah, I love it lo because if
- 10:55Speaker 3: anyone would have asked me if I'd been in the
- 10:57Speaker 3: hot seat with Andy, and he would have said, what
- 10:59Speaker 3: do you feel about Heather? You know, why didn't she
- 11:00Speaker 3: come to your wedding? She had a family event.
- 11:03Speaker 4: At her She told that she had to go to
- 11:04Speaker 4: her daughters.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Why didn't she tell you she did.
- 11:07Speaker 3: The same thing. That's what my exactly the same thing.
- 11:09Speaker 3: It was just and so why couldn't it have ended
- 11:11Speaker 3: at that? Why does she have to then say, well,
- 11:13Speaker 3: I'm friends with by the way, at fifty years old,
- 11:15Speaker 3: Why can't we all be friends together and not have
- 11:17Speaker 3: to Well, I don't.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Think anybody should dictate who they should be friends with.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Well, by the way, if you're fifty or even thirty
- 11:23Speaker 3: plus and you have to choose a lane, then you
- 11:26Speaker 3: are you are feckless. That is the word I would
- 11:29Speaker 3: like to use you lacking initiative. Feckless is the word
- 11:32Speaker 3: for her.
- 11:33Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I'm laughing. Initiative, lacking initiative and strength of character, that
- 11:38Speaker 3: is what it means, so you.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Can't use big words on this podcast with us because.
- 11:43Speaker 5: She knew well enough to give us the definition.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Do you guys know you know what last time I
- 11:47Speaker 3: was on this Last time I was on this podcast
- 11:49Speaker 3: with you guys not long ago, when we were going
- 11:51Speaker 3: to watch Janet Jackson, Do you remember I gave a
- 11:54Speaker 3: word and your whole the whole team was like, that's
- 11:56Speaker 3: not a word. I'm like, look it up. I grat
- 11:57Speaker 3: I had any I was going to be an English major.
- 12:00Speaker 4: You've got it. What you have to understand that me
- 12:06Speaker 4: and Teddy barely made it through high school, like we
- 12:09Speaker 4: barely did?
- 12:10Speaker 5: You barely make it through this part?
- 12:12Speaker 4: We play Devil's Advocate. She's on Live TV. She's asked
- 12:19Speaker 4: she's castmates with Shannon. Do you think she said it
- 12:22Speaker 4: because she didn't want to upset Shannon?
- 12:26Speaker 3: Yes, And that's why she's feckless, because honestly, you can
- 12:29Speaker 3: still be a friend of someone and still be a
- 12:31Speaker 3: friend of the other person. You don't have to. I
- 12:34Speaker 3: don't know what power this woman has over everybody else,
- 12:38Speaker 3: but but for anyone to dictate who I'm going to
- 12:40Speaker 3: be friends with, you would be gone. Have you gonna
- 12:43Speaker 3: talk to her about it. Heather, Yeah, I have sent
- 12:46Speaker 3: probably five you know, you know when you you you
- 12:49Speaker 3: press the text and you're about to sit send and
- 12:50Speaker 3: you're like, okay, a raise. No, not gonna say okay send,
- 12:53Speaker 3: No'm not gonna send it. I've done it probably five
- 12:55Speaker 3: times that I was going to send her a text,
- 12:57Speaker 3: and I still I did text her right after mm hmm.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Let me just give you guys the info.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Okay, let's just pull up exactly what you said, because
- 13:06Speaker 2: I don't want we don't want to mince words.
- 13:08Speaker 3: No, I don't want to. I wanted to be here,
- 13:11Speaker 3: I said, Heather. I saw watch What Happens Live and confused?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Are your answer? You sounded cold and distant, like we
- 13:18Speaker 3: were never friends, and as if we had not all
- 13:20Speaker 3: four of us gone to dinner several times, et cetera.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I thought we were friends. I guess I valued our
- 13:26Speaker 3: friendship more than you did. Did the show get in
- 13:29Speaker 3: the way of our friendship? Question? Mark? Valid? Right?
- 13:33Speaker 5: Did you right back?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah? Right away?
- 13:35Speaker 5: What'd she say?
- 13:37Speaker 3: That is not what I meant at all. I'm sorry
- 13:39Speaker 3: it came off that way. Reunion was yesterday and I'm exhausted.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Let's please talk soon and discuss heart But in my mind,
- 13:46Speaker 3: I'm like, first of all, that was I get that
- 13:50Speaker 3: you're exhausted, Tam. We know we've done enough reunions. It's
- 13:52Speaker 3: you are You are drained and we don't want but
- 13:55Speaker 3: you're drained. So I get that. But at the same time,
- 13:58Speaker 3: I'm just like, it didn't matter. The answer was just
- 14:01Speaker 3: I mean, what did you guys think hearing that answer,
- 14:04Speaker 3: knowing you know that her and I are friends and
- 14:06Speaker 3: have in the comment.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Okay, did I think the answer is great?
- 14:10Speaker 1: No?
- 14:11Speaker 4: I think the answer was Shannon's a castmate and I
- 14:14Speaker 4: don't want to piss her off. That's how I'm taking it.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Feckless.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I think if there's already somewhere feckless, you figure out
- 14:21Speaker 2: a way to be there.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Everybody's feckless.
- 14:24Speaker 5: But that's kind of.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Yeah, like you and you and fuck you.
- 14:31Speaker 2: You want to yeah, yeah, you want to be somewhere.
- 14:35Speaker 2: In my opinion, if I want to be somewhere, I
- 14:37Speaker 2: figure out a way to be there. And uh, the
- 14:41Speaker 2: fact that she didn't go and then what's just you
- 14:46Speaker 2: know you it could have been another reason. But then
- 14:48Speaker 2: on top of it to double down and say what
- 14:50Speaker 2: she said and watch what happens live. I think that's
- 14:53Speaker 2: what really hurt you.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I'm very hurt.
- 14:55Speaker 5: I think I think the double whammy is the problem.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Everyone knows my children come first. Everyone knows it would
- 15:02Speaker 3: not matter like I get that she and she did
- 15:04Speaker 3: have this event. She told Tamor that which date.
- 15:07Speaker 4: It was her daughter's family it.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Was parent night, parents week. It was not complicated. I
- 15:13Speaker 3: was friends with Jen and still am and I'm friends
- 15:15Speaker 3: with you. It's not complicated. It's it's you can be
- 15:19Speaker 3: friends as a grown ass, mature woman with two different people.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Because all of Newport is divorced and seventy five percent
- 15:26Speaker 3: divorce rate, it's like you're gonna have to not choose lanes.
- 15:28Speaker 3: You've got to be able to keep the peace with
- 15:31Speaker 3: both and love both for where they're at. I don't
- 15:33Speaker 3: understand where you know.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Why she just wouldn't say I had my daughter's event
- 15:40Speaker 2: and loved her.
- 15:42Speaker 3: And the other answer she gave was there was another thing.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Andy asked her. It's almost like she is trying to
- 15:46Speaker 3: ice me out or just like, I don't know, I've
- 15:47Speaker 3: got to get to the bottom of this. But anyways,
- 15:49Speaker 3: she said to Andy, she goes she's a sweet girl.
- 15:52Speaker 3: She's lovely. It's like, sweet girl, lovely dude. How many
- 15:57Speaker 3: deep conversations have we had about life that we're going
- 16:00Speaker 3: through together? Like, I'm just I.
- 16:04Speaker 5: It sounds to me like your friendship isn't a priority.
- 16:08Speaker 3: To her, but it was to me. So that's where
- 16:13Speaker 3: That's where there's got to be another conversation.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Do you think that she truly had a core, deep
- 16:30Speaker 2: relationship with you or you think it was a TV
- 16:32Speaker 2: friendship because that came up again this season.
- 16:36Speaker 5: With somebody else.
- 16:38Speaker 3: If you would have asked me that two weeks ago,
- 16:42Speaker 3: a month ago, I would have said, I have a
- 16:44Speaker 3: true friendship with Heather, and I would I would have
- 16:47Speaker 3: been I'm loyal to I'm loyal to my friends. Now
- 16:51Speaker 3: I'm questioning it because of that answer, and because of
- 16:54Speaker 3: what happened, you know, like what happened last year at
- 16:56Speaker 3: season eighteen, because when she gave the information and she
- 17:00Speaker 3: wasn't to share. I forgave her for that, because I
- 17:02Speaker 3: do feel like that, especially in this industry that we're in,
- 17:08Speaker 3: reality TV is not easy. We all know this, We've
- 17:10Speaker 3: all been there. You're friendships yes, within a cast, yes,
- 17:15Speaker 3: but there's also it's possible, Tamra, if you have a
- 17:18Speaker 3: good heart and you stand to your truth and you
- 17:20Speaker 3: have strength in your character.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:22Speaker 3: However, now I am definitely I'm I'm gobsbacked to be honest,
- 17:28Speaker 3: I'm like, WHOA like I? Because you know I was
- 17:32Speaker 3: hurt by you because you were in that scene. But
- 17:34Speaker 3: how did we work through it, Tamra, because you know what?
- 17:36Speaker 3: We were honest and you said, lex, I am filming
- 17:40Speaker 3: a reality show. This is what you know? It is
- 17:43Speaker 3: it is. I got it. I get it. And here's
- 17:46Speaker 3: the dell. I have a very big capacity for understanding
- 17:50Speaker 3: the realm of what work we do. I get that
- 17:52Speaker 3: there is TV moments, and that's what I always called
- 17:55Speaker 3: it when everyone asks how can you be such good
- 17:57Speaker 3: friends with her? She has she crept on you, she
- 17:59Speaker 3: did this. I go, no, that was a TV moment.
- 18:01Speaker 3: It's fine. We moved past it. We talked it through,
- 18:03Speaker 3: we cried, we yelled, we did this, we did that.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Here we are. The friendship has enough of a core
- 18:10Speaker 3: strength in it itself that it doesn't the other stuff
- 18:12Speaker 3: is kind of manouche. However, I feel that now I've
- 18:16Speaker 3: had two knockdowns with Heather, and I just feel and
- 18:19Speaker 3: I want to move past this. I don't really want
- 18:20Speaker 3: to take all this. It doesn't as much time, but
- 18:23Speaker 3: I just I'm really hurt. And I also don't think
- 18:26Speaker 3: she realizes the weight of her words on that episode
- 18:29Speaker 3: and also the weight of her words on the watch
- 18:32Speaker 3: What Happens Live. I also don't think she considered or
- 18:35Speaker 3: even put herself in my shoes about disclosing private information
- 18:39Speaker 3: that was not hers to share with America. Was not
- 18:43Speaker 3: I told you, I told her. Guess whose mouth it
- 18:46Speaker 3: didn't come out of? You didn't tell I did not
- 18:50Speaker 3: them to do that scene did not at all.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Let's move on to happier news. Maybe Teddy not ready
- 19:00Speaker 4: to move from okay?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Is there anybody that anybody want to drink?
- 19:05Speaker 4: It could be a while.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Is there anybody that you disinvited to the wedding?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yes, but obviously you saw that Teddy.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I don't know which you don't even have to say
- 19:16Speaker 2: the name. But there is somebody. And that's not a rumor.
- 19:18Speaker 3: It's not a rumor. No I did. But but we've
- 19:21Speaker 3: we have patched things up, and she did wish me well.
- 19:24Speaker 3: It's Jen Perdronte. Obviously it's all over the tabloids. We know,
- 19:28Speaker 3: but yeah, because here's the problem. My wedding list started
- 19:33Speaker 3: at eighty. I wanted to keep it very small. It's
- 19:35Speaker 3: a very intimate venue that we had it at, as
- 19:37Speaker 3: Tamber will tell you the room. I wanted more freedom
- 19:39Speaker 3: and more bigger space for all the tables. I didn't
- 19:42Speaker 3: want it to be, you know, crammed and they're like
- 19:44Speaker 3: sardines and all this. So my vision was one way. Well,
- 19:47Speaker 3: the list soon got up to one sixty, and the
- 19:50Speaker 3: capacity of the room is one fifty, so I might
- 19:53Speaker 3: mean people to catch the flu and like COVID and
- 19:55Speaker 3: things like fast. I'm like, I'm like, people need to
- 19:57Speaker 3: like drop off this list, like I don't know what
- 19:59Speaker 3: it is. Ok fine, your kids okay, fine, Okay, your
- 20:01Speaker 3: kid's got the boogers, Okay.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Yeah, you're kind of ugly.
- 20:03Speaker 3: You need to be there. So I need people to cancel.
- 20:07Speaker 4: So if you're not on a zepic, fine.
- 20:11Speaker 3: So I send out my save the dates and and
- 20:15Speaker 3: then you know, a month goes by and Jen and
- 20:17Speaker 3: I are talking before this, we're talking almost every day.
- 20:20Speaker 3: She's known my wedding dress scandals and all the things
- 20:22Speaker 3: that are happening with everything, And because it takes a lot.
- 20:24Speaker 3: It takes an army to make a wedding happen. And
- 20:27Speaker 3: so anyways, all of a sudden, I'm going in for
- 20:30Speaker 3: this last minute boot like not really emergency, but kind
- 20:33Speaker 3: of emergency boob job. Didn't want to have them done again.
- 20:36Speaker 3: But by the way they look smaller girls, huh.
- 20:38Speaker 5: They look very cute, Thank you very frank.
- 20:41Speaker 3: I had a reconstructive job boob job done because here's why.
- 20:45Speaker 3: My left side had encapsulated, so it was like getting
- 20:48Speaker 3: hard and growing up here.
- 20:49Speaker 4: And then she had a boob under her chin. Okay,
- 20:51Speaker 4: I did.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I was starting to grow in or my chin. Yea,
- 20:53Speaker 3: it was going to be really bad. And the wedding dress.
- 20:57Speaker 3: So then but then also guess what happened my implant,
- 21:00Speaker 3: So I had two things on this side. So I
- 21:02Speaker 3: it was kind of emergency, but not really like I
- 21:04Speaker 3: wasn't going to die, but you know it was. It
- 21:06Speaker 3: was a big deal. Anyways, so I text her. She
- 21:09Speaker 3: doesn't text back, even after knowing that does not say
- 21:12Speaker 3: how to go you okay, And I'm like, this is
- 21:14Speaker 3: weird and it's been a month, so I disinvite her
- 21:17Speaker 3: because I'm like, I'm five months out from my wedding.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I'm not inviting someone to my very you know, I
- 21:23Speaker 3: need people to drop off. I'm like, I'm not inviting
- 21:25Speaker 3: her to my wedding when when like it's like she's
- 21:29Speaker 3: not even checking in after knowing that I just had
- 21:31Speaker 3: this happen. We have patched it up. By the way, Jen,
- 21:34Speaker 3: I'm sorry that this is all coming out now, but yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 3: we're invite somebody. I just text her and said, I'm
- 21:40Speaker 3: so sorry. But but she never really got the invitation.
- 21:43Speaker 3: She got the saved, she got to save the date.
- 21:44Speaker 3: But I just said, and you never were at right now, Jen,
- 21:47Speaker 3: we haven't spoken in a month. My wedding is five
- 21:49Speaker 3: months out. I really I don't have the space at
- 21:51Speaker 3: the moment to I mean my space in my heart,
- 21:54Speaker 3: not the space in the venue. But like I feel
- 21:56Speaker 3: like we have distanced, there's some distance growing between us.
- 22:00Speaker 3: So at this point, I think it's just it's just
- 22:02Speaker 3: a better if if you know, we've so it was more.
- 22:05Speaker 4: About you guys, weren't talking like you used to. You
- 22:08Speaker 4: felt like she was pulling away.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Over in one month's time, camera and like people.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Lived like walking distance from time.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I know, and we we talked almost every like she'd
- 22:16Speaker 3: be in carpool. I'd be like, She'd like call you
- 22:17Speaker 3: right back, okay. And then it was like we were
- 22:19Speaker 3: talking like one or two times a day, one a day,
- 22:22Speaker 3: once every three days. I don't know, but there was
- 22:24Speaker 3: a weird you know, you know, when you know you
- 22:27Speaker 3: could feel.
- 22:27Speaker 5: A badness stop filming.
- 22:30Speaker 3: No, no, no. We were friends the whole time she's
- 22:32Speaker 3: been filming this whole season except for that. When that
- 22:33Speaker 3: one it's a month, it started to dwindle. And then
- 22:37Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, this is a weird. It just feels weird.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I don't want to invite someone in my wedding who
- 22:42Speaker 3: I haven't spoken to and over a month, because every
- 22:44Speaker 3: single person on that wedding list I've known for over
- 22:46Speaker 3: two and a half for years. She was one of
- 22:48Speaker 3: the newer friends that I had known. So I'm like,
- 22:51Speaker 3: you know, there are people that I still want to
- 22:53Speaker 3: have come and and you know, so it was just
- 22:56Speaker 3: it was.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Guys are in better terms now?
- 22:57Speaker 3: We are right now?
- 22:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's good.
- 22:59Speaker 3: We have We have texted back and forth since then.
- 23:01Speaker 3: She text me on my wedding day and just said,
- 23:03Speaker 3: I know you're going to beautiful. I said, you know what.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I know, it's last minute. It feels like you should
- 23:08Speaker 3: be here if you can. Ryan want to slap on
- 23:09Speaker 3: a wedding you know, a wedding outfit and get here.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I'll make sure there's space for you. So I reinvited
- 23:14Speaker 3: her kind of and you know, yeah, I just we're
- 23:18Speaker 3: in a good spot. She's like, I'm in San Diego
- 23:19Speaker 3: because my son's you know, getting his mareen some kind
- 23:23Speaker 3: of ceremony. So yeah, but we're in a decent space now.
- 23:27Speaker 4: All right, Well that's good and that's what met life's about,
- 23:29Speaker 4: right yeah.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, see, that's how you can forward.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Tell you moving forward.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Did you hear from anybody that you were surprised to
- 23:36Speaker 4: hear from the day of your wedding?
- 23:40Speaker 3: Well, like, I mean, Heather text me the day before
- 23:42Speaker 3: and the day after I think, and then Andy co
- 23:45Speaker 3: went text me the day after when the People article
- 23:48Speaker 3: came out and was like, I don't remember now, so
- 23:51Speaker 3: I'm like, you look beautiful. I'm so happy you fell
- 23:53Speaker 3: in love or whatever to move back and forth. I know.
- 23:55Speaker 3: So that was kind of out of left field. But
- 23:58Speaker 3: obviously we have a very good rule relationship because I
- 24:01Speaker 3: was the twelfth housewife. I know, you were number four, yes,
- 24:04Speaker 3: four of all, so think about how many hundreds of
- 24:06Speaker 3: housewives there are.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Now you were four and I was twelve. He's always
- 24:09Speaker 4: good about stuff like that.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Or eleven, I'm eleven. I'm sorry, I was eleven even.
- 24:13Speaker 4: I don't know what number I am, but I mean,
- 24:15Speaker 4: I feel like he is very protective of all his
- 24:18Speaker 4: housewives past and present. I agree, always stands up for them.
- 24:23Speaker 3: That was very sweet. I don't know how he does that,
- 24:25Speaker 3: but anyways, Yeah, so there were there were you know,
- 24:28Speaker 3: I mean, jim my ex text me. Yeah, yeah, he
- 24:32Speaker 3: texted me what wait for? What is your.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Ex husband text you the day of your wedding the
- 24:38Speaker 4: day before? He just day before, I hope you choke
- 24:41Speaker 4: on your chicken?
- 24:41Speaker 1: What?
- 24:42Speaker 4: What did he say? No?
- 24:45Speaker 3: It was actually very sweet. He goes, I'm wishing you
- 24:48Speaker 3: a blessed day or a happy day, or I hope
- 24:50Speaker 3: you have a great day something like that. Hope, but
- 24:51Speaker 3: was great day tomorrow something like that. So I think
- 24:54Speaker 3: that was it was very nice, very nice.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I didn't get that text from Simon.
- 25:02Speaker 3: With those texts that, I was like, Okay, oh my gosh,
- 25:08Speaker 3: you're close with Joe.
- 25:09Speaker 2: So Joe was there right, yes, yes, have you spoken
- 25:12Speaker 2: to her about Slade trying to act like a housewife
- 25:15Speaker 2: this season?
- 25:17Speaker 3: You know, she doesn't really talk about him a whole lot.
- 25:20Speaker 3: I think it's more of me wanting to talk about it.
- 25:24Speaker 3: She's like so over that doesn't even she's kind.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Of like married and she has moved on and it's
- 25:29Speaker 4: been like two decades decade or two yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Two decads. But I can't help myself.
- 25:34Speaker 3: She's just kind of like, why did I ever date him? Alexis,
- 25:37Speaker 3: can you please remind me? And I'm like, I don't know.
- 25:40Speaker 3: We can say that to each other.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Let's talk about our relationship with as couples like me
- 25:48Speaker 4: and Eddie, you and John. So you know Eddie really
- 25:53Speaker 4: likes John and things did oh yeah, and he really
- 25:57Speaker 4: thinks you're just like the sweetest, kindest, never has a
- 26:00Speaker 4: bad thing to say about anyone. I mean even this
- 26:03Speaker 4: season us talking and you would say to me, no
- 26:07Speaker 4: matter whatever I was saying to you, like she was
- 26:10Speaker 4: so mean to me now, Tamra, Okay, let's think about
- 26:12Speaker 4: this even if it was Shannon, Let's think about this like, like,
- 26:16Speaker 4: let's talk this through. Maybe you don't need to be
- 26:19Speaker 4: mad at her, like you are a type of person
- 26:22Speaker 4: that can see both sides for sure. And Eddie has
- 26:26Speaker 4: acknowledged that and acknowledged just like the friendship, because trust me,
- 26:31Speaker 4: when I told him I was friends with you, he goes, not.
- 26:33Speaker 5: Jesus Jugs.
- 26:35Speaker 4: I know you told me yeah, And I'm like, yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 4: Jesus Jugs. And then after he's like, you know what,
- 26:41Speaker 4: she's a really good person. She's a really good person.
- 26:44Speaker 3: But you know what's funny, Tamara, I can never fault
- 26:46Speaker 3: you or Heather that season or Vicky Vicky kind of
- 26:49Speaker 3: Vicky not. You know, I'm talking about back when we
- 26:52Speaker 3: were filming like season eight. Let's say when you and
- 26:55Speaker 3: Heather were reading and I think you were you guys
- 26:57Speaker 3: were sniffing the you know, something wasn't right. I was.
- 27:00Speaker 4: I thought you meant. I thought you meant the booger
- 27:03Speaker 4: sugar or whatever.
- 27:06Speaker 3: You are sniffing out that. I think you and Heather
- 27:08Speaker 3: could sniff that my marriage wasn't perfect. Well, I think
- 27:12Speaker 3: that you don't see the love that you saw with
- 27:15Speaker 3: John and I maybe wonder could have seen that. Oh
- 27:18Speaker 3: good god. Well, but I mean when John and I
- 27:21Speaker 3: walk in a room, people are like, wow, you guys
- 27:22Speaker 3: like they feel the energy of the love that we
- 27:24Speaker 3: have for each other. Right, and I think that you
- 27:26Speaker 3: can feel that out of couples that really you guys
- 27:28Speaker 3: idly look related. Sorry, but I said.
- 27:30Speaker 5: It, we do. You go a little bit a little bit.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we look related. That's not good because that's incest. Well,
- 27:36Speaker 3: you're not gonna have any kids.
- 27:37Speaker 4: So it's okay.
- 27:42Speaker 3: If I go down my chart and I find out
- 27:44Speaker 3: that he's a relative of mine, he's from Netherlands, I'm
- 27:47Speaker 3: from I'm from.
- 27:47Speaker 4: God, you're not having kids.
- 27:49Speaker 3: We're not You're not related. I'm not even let my
- 27:51Speaker 3: mind go you are horrible. I'm not letting my mind
- 27:55Speaker 3: go there.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, he's your brother.
- 27:58Speaker 5: That's okay.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Yeah, no, kids, it's good.
- 28:02Speaker 3: You go look good. Who says it's fine is that
- 28:06Speaker 3: the Bible is her?
- 28:08Speaker 4: She gets done the Bible.
- 28:10Speaker 3: I'm just joking anyway.
- 28:12Speaker 4: But you guys, what I'm saying is, you guys make
- 28:13Speaker 4: a very good couple. I mean, he's handsome, you like.
- 28:17Speaker 4: You guys look like the top of a wedding cake.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Okay, well I could start that career.
- 28:22Speaker 4: That that's me giving you a compliment in some fucking
- 28:24Speaker 4: weird way. Okay, if your brother's brother and sister and your.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Fucking camra giving you a compliment by also alienating half
- 28:31Speaker 2: of our viewership.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Yes, I'm just saying.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I'm learning Tambera's compliments. They come very far in fee
- 28:36Speaker 3: between you. But when they do, you're just the top
- 28:38Speaker 3: of a wedding cake. That's her. Hey, it's it's the truth.
- 28:47Speaker 3: And and you know John feels the same about Eddie
- 28:49Speaker 3: and you. I feel the same about you, and it
- 28:51Speaker 3: is weird. I just think it's very inspirational. First of all,
- 28:54Speaker 3: I told everyone watch our love story of Blossom, like
- 28:57Speaker 3: just watch, just if everybody just sits back last year
- 28:59Speaker 3: when I was crying, crying every single day in filming,
- 29:02Speaker 3: well when it started air, it wasn't crying filming. I
- 29:04Speaker 3: was crying when it aired. How it wasn't really the
- 29:07Speaker 3: true story being shown. You and me both system Okay,
- 29:10Speaker 3: so we got that together. But anyways, we trauma bonded,
- 29:12Speaker 3: as we've been Yes, we trauma bonded. Awesomely known fact
- 29:18Speaker 3: that we trauma bonded. But anyway, I just said, Johnny,
- 29:22Speaker 3: on nights we'd cry together or even with you. I've
- 29:24Speaker 3: said this to you. It's like when when America really
- 29:27Speaker 3: sees like, they give us a couple of years, let
- 29:30Speaker 3: it unfold. Let everybody get past the fact that, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 3: the hotter, younger castmate took the boyfriend that broke up
- 29:37Speaker 3: with the other girl. So if that's really that's what
- 29:39Speaker 3: America thought, that's what the that's what it looked like,
- 29:41Speaker 3: and that's what it came across as. And so I thought,
- 29:44Speaker 3: once everybody really sees how genuine it is and what happened,
- 29:47Speaker 3: you can't break that love story. It's just it's a
- 29:49Speaker 3: beautiful love story. And it's the same with our friendship
- 29:52Speaker 3: camera because arch enemies become besties. How does that happen?
- 29:56Speaker 3: It's just one of those arcs and in the story
- 29:59Speaker 3: that every producer wants. But it's true.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Well, I think people grow and people change, and that's
- 30:05Speaker 4: been you know, our situation. For sure. You're out of
- 30:09Speaker 4: a marriage that didn't suit you and I'm out of
- 30:12Speaker 4: a marriage that was not great for me, and we're
- 30:15Speaker 4: different places in our life.
- 30:18Speaker 3: And we both have good hearts. And that's what even
- 30:21Speaker 3: though reality different, but I know, well that's what I'm
- 30:24Speaker 3: going to say. Even though Reality TV doesn't always like
- 30:26Speaker 3: to show that.
- 30:28Speaker 1: No.
- 30:28Speaker 4: So you know, with reality TV, they're going to show
- 30:30Speaker 4: your strongest, you know, personality, and mine just happens to
- 30:35Speaker 4: be fuck you, fuck you, fuck your fuck you my opinion,
- 30:39Speaker 4: that's my strong that's that's me. And and I mean
- 30:42Speaker 4: it's worked long as running housewife. Not proud of it
- 30:46Speaker 4: about the.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Not proud of.
- 30:49Speaker 4: It, but you know, it's that's what they show. Do
- 30:55Speaker 4: they show other sides of me?
- 30:57Speaker 1: No?
- 30:57Speaker 4: Do they show me checking in on my friends and all,
- 31:00Speaker 4: you know, and being a good mom and no, But
- 31:04Speaker 4: you know, I I've accepted it. I took that villain
- 31:07Speaker 4: role seventeen years ago.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Yeah. Man, they just planted that hat on you. And
- 31:12Speaker 3: guess what role I took the dits even though I'm
- 31:15Speaker 3: coming in with words, y'all don't know, I'm I'm a
- 31:18Speaker 3: good one no longer.
- 31:27Speaker 4: I think they made a huge mistake not bringing you back.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Huge mistake. I think that it was the Shannon of
- 31:38Speaker 4: it all. If you came back in different circumstances, you
- 31:44Speaker 4: would steal be on the show.
- 31:45Speaker 3: If I would have came back where we were originally
- 31:48Speaker 3: talking and John Jansen was not in my vocabulary, I
- 31:51Speaker 3: didn't even know. I mean, he kind of knew who
- 31:54Speaker 3: I was, but I literally did not even know. I
- 31:57Speaker 3: had to go do a lot of research after that
- 31:59Speaker 3: night of Quite Woman because I was feeling the butterflies
- 32:01Speaker 3: and the weird things and I'm like, oh, guys, just no,
- 32:03Speaker 3: I'm not gonna no no. But anyway, so then I
- 32:07Speaker 3: learned a lot and I maybe had seen one episode
- 32:10Speaker 3: because I wasn't even watching back then. At that point,
- 32:13Speaker 3: my mom was dying, so the only thing I was
- 32:14Speaker 3: doing with flying to call her out or to keep
- 32:16Speaker 3: my mom off her deathbed. But so it's just it's
- 32:20Speaker 3: so bizarre. But if I would have come back like that,
- 32:24Speaker 3: you know, the newly single Alexis, or even if I
- 32:27Speaker 3: would have just gotten a little bit better of not
- 32:29Speaker 3: such a skewed storyline, I think America could have liked
- 32:33Speaker 3: me and would have liked me. But it all works
- 32:34Speaker 3: out for a reason, and I feel that now I'm
- 32:38Speaker 3: exactly where I'm supposed to be, and it was all
- 32:41Speaker 3: exactly where it was supposed to happen. Like what happened
- 32:44Speaker 3: is God's timing, even though it doesn't make sense at
- 32:48Speaker 3: the moment, that was God's timing.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, what I would say is, what would you
- 32:53Speaker 4: say to the people out there that doubt your relationship John,
- 33:00Speaker 4: even though you guys are now married, Like I posted pictures,
- 33:03Speaker 4: I got some hateful dms and I don't I mean,
- 33:07Speaker 4: I actually spend the time and said, you don't know
- 33:09Speaker 4: who she is?
- 33:11Speaker 3: Oh that's you.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Know, And normally that thing I would just be black bitch,
- 33:15Speaker 4: But no, I like took the time like and people
- 33:17Speaker 4: would say back to me, you know what, You're right,
- 33:21Speaker 4: You're absolutely right. So, like, does that stuff affect you anymore?
- 33:27Speaker 4: The people that are coming at you saying negative things
- 33:30Speaker 4: about your relationship with John.
- 33:33Speaker 1: You know.
- 33:33Speaker 3: I mean, I would be lying if I said no,
- 33:35Speaker 3: it never affects me. But what I will say is
- 33:39Speaker 3: that I think going through watching rewatching Season eighteen unfold
- 33:45Speaker 3: the way it did from reality TV perspective and not
- 33:48Speaker 3: the reality of what the story really was. I think
- 33:52Speaker 3: that I was knocked down so low and I was
- 33:54Speaker 3: already solow you knew this and me coming back It took.
- 33:56Speaker 3: It took how many phone calls, exhausting phone calls on
- 33:59Speaker 3: me and you and hell saying nope, I'm not going
- 34:01Speaker 3: and you're like you guys were like begging me and
- 34:04Speaker 3: like all the exhausting phone calls.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Well, Heather rallied for you to come back to the show.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Oh, she was my number one reason why its me
- 34:11Speaker 3: on we spent.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Let me just tell you why this bitch got fired.
- 34:15Speaker 4: And instead of rallying for this bitch come back, she
- 34:18Speaker 4: was saying, I want Alexis back, I want a Lexus back,
- 34:20Speaker 4: I want I'm.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Hey, what about me?
- 34:24Speaker 4: Hello? You can have two friends, yeah, alexis a better friend.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Yeah. But so anyways, being knocked down so hard on
- 34:32Speaker 3: season eighteen, and I didn't I kept asking God why
- 34:35Speaker 3: And I was still kind of saying, God, I hate you, God,
- 34:37Speaker 3: what are you doing this to be for? Why are
- 34:39Speaker 3: you breaking me even further down? And here's the truth.
- 34:41Speaker 3: And here's why God is so amazing is the entire
- 34:45Speaker 3: time I'd be on my knees doing that and I'd say,
- 34:48Speaker 3: I hate you. I hate you God. There's a word
- 34:51Speaker 3: for it begins with an L. And I'm now I'm
- 34:52Speaker 3: losing my dictionary brain. But there's a word that smart
- 34:55Speaker 3: in the not so smart. After all, in the biblical world,
- 34:58Speaker 3: there is this L word and it is about how
- 35:01Speaker 3: God gives you the ability, like he allows the space
- 35:05Speaker 3: for you to have this hate for him at the
- 35:07Speaker 3: moment because you don't understand the entire story and so
- 35:10Speaker 3: and then all the while I'm on my knees just
- 35:13Speaker 3: like God, why, why me? Why? And he was always there.
- 35:19Speaker 3: I heard his voice as clear as day, and he'd say, Lexi,
- 35:22Speaker 3: I got you, Lexi. I'm here, Lexi. You're gonna get
- 35:25Speaker 3: you one something better for you. He's like, and so
- 35:27Speaker 3: here we are. I think at the end of the day,
- 35:29Speaker 3: breaking me down that Lobe being the most hated person
- 35:32Speaker 3: in America for Bravo World and a lot of America
- 35:35Speaker 3: for you know, six months of my life to where
- 35:37Speaker 3: I have to like basically hibernate and get in death
- 35:40Speaker 3: threats and you know all the things my kids had
- 35:43Speaker 3: to go through and.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Seeing your comments on insight shut off.
- 35:46Speaker 3: For six months, I mean it was it was really
- 35:48Speaker 3: not something I should have ever had to experience. But anyways,
- 35:50Speaker 3: coming full circle with that whole story, I feel like
- 35:54Speaker 3: God did it because he was like, I'm building you
- 35:56Speaker 3: up to be stronger and to show people that you
- 36:00Speaker 3: can make it through and whether that's storm and also
- 36:03Speaker 3: that maybe everything you see isn't what you think it is,
- 36:08Speaker 3: you know, because now look at how.
- 36:09Speaker 4: And I'm getting you off this fucking show.
- 36:12Speaker 5: Yeah, and now you're happy.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Yeah. And I mean if that's what I love is
- 36:16Speaker 3: when people see john and I out at a restaurant
- 36:18Speaker 3: or just anything, they come up they're just like, wow,
- 36:21Speaker 3: we see it, we get it, and that's.
- 36:24Speaker 4: All that's all that you have, like a.
- 36:28Speaker 3: And it's not it's not fake. And we didn't do
- 36:29Speaker 3: it for TV. We didn't do it for what everybody
- 36:31Speaker 3: thought we did because guess you, I mean all of
- 36:34Speaker 3: you can imagine we would have. I would have I
- 36:36Speaker 3: would have wanted to end it this, I.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Could all this, Hey could have destroyed your relationship with him, Yes,
- 36:42Speaker 4: very easily. Let's talk about what the wedding.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Like.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Let the listeners hear about like getting near the.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Hats, the hats what like?
- 37:04Speaker 2: Was that?
- 37:04Speaker 5: Kimo Sabi? I was like, what the heck is going
- 37:07Speaker 5: on here?
- 37:07Speaker 3: So when I was planning this wedding with Johnny, I said, Babe,
- 37:10Speaker 3: I go, you might not like my ideas we you know,
- 37:13Speaker 3: and he had. His idea was the circle of love,
- 37:15Speaker 3: the round, you know. Because we were talking, I said,
- 37:17Speaker 3: what about a U shape? I don't want to do
- 37:18Speaker 3: just just people in rows? During the ceremony, during the
- 37:22Speaker 3: ceremony part of it, and he goes, well, what about
- 37:24Speaker 3: a circle of love? And I said, I don't even
- 37:26Speaker 3: know if that's possible. So I call my wedding planner.
- 37:28Speaker 3: I'm like, is that do you think? What would this
- 37:29Speaker 3: look like? How could we do it? So we started
- 37:31Speaker 3: doing all these mock ups and these ideas and I'm
- 37:33Speaker 3: just like, we're going with it or do it. She's like,
- 37:35Speaker 3: I've never heard of it, never done it. Let's go
- 37:37Speaker 3: with it. So we did it because we thought we're
- 37:39Speaker 3: not having a wedding party. We don't want I didn't
- 37:41Speaker 3: want to walk down the aisle. The only reason I
- 37:42Speaker 3: walked down the aisle was because my children and John's
- 37:45Speaker 3: children were like, no, you have to walk to my dad.
- 37:47Speaker 3: You have to walk to John, like you have to
- 37:49Speaker 3: you have to walk to to see golf cart.
- 37:52Speaker 4: It half the way that Druss was out, I was
- 37:55Speaker 4: in the grass, so that the setting was we're in
- 37:58Speaker 4: like the woods, but you're it's yeah, and it's all
- 38:02Speaker 4: with huge like I want to say, oak trees and
- 38:05Speaker 4: then there's circle around you guys, right, and they get
- 38:09Speaker 4: to oak tree.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Can you guys can see it on my Instagram you
- 38:11Speaker 3: can see the I mean, I'm and I'm telling you
- 38:13Speaker 3: it was. It was breathtaking. And the reason we married
- 38:16Speaker 3: there because we were looking at destination weddings. We were
- 38:19Speaker 3: looking at a ton of venues. I walked in there.
- 38:21Speaker 3: My mom is from Colorado, so she's a mountain girl.
- 38:24Speaker 3: She's always loved the mountains. I'm a water girl. I
- 38:26Speaker 3: want to live on the ocean. We walked into that
- 38:28Speaker 3: venue and I'm literally it's probably the fifth place John
- 38:31Speaker 3: and I had looked at. And I walked in and
- 38:33Speaker 3: I was holding his hand and I stopped and I
- 38:36Speaker 3: like dropped his hand and He's like, what babe, And
- 38:37Speaker 3: I go, I feel my mom here, my mom. This
- 38:40Speaker 3: is where I feel my mom. This is where we're
- 38:42Speaker 3: getting married. He goes, done, where what they do you have?
- 38:45Speaker 3: They had no Saturdays for two and a half years.
- 38:47Speaker 3: There's not one Saturday you could get married on. And
- 38:49Speaker 3: in the months that we wanted to think you could
- 38:51Speaker 3: pick some of the off months. But so I'm like,
- 38:53Speaker 3: well that we have to get married on a Friday
- 38:55Speaker 3: or Sunday. And John's like, get married on a Friday whatever,
- 38:57Speaker 3: And so she, you know, we that day we didn't
- 39:01Speaker 3: even have I didn't have a wedding planner in mind.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I didn't have any other thing. I just said, my
- 39:05Speaker 3: mom is here, John, we are doing it here, and
- 39:07Speaker 3: he's like a million percent.
- 39:09Speaker 1: This is it.
- 39:10Speaker 3: And so then yeah, then you have to have golf
- 39:11Speaker 3: cards because it is a golf course, and you do
- 39:13Speaker 3: have to they close down the golf court. I mean
- 39:15Speaker 3: it's a wedding estate also. But yeah, it's unbelievably magical,
- 39:20Speaker 3: Like the whole thing was magical.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Your dress absolutely beautiful.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Wighs more than me, It weighed more than me.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it was all crystal and it was like a
- 39:30Speaker 4: champagne color.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Would you call it. It's champagne and then champagne and
- 39:34Speaker 3: tope and then all they're just all the jewels. And
- 39:37Speaker 3: so that was another thing.
- 39:38Speaker 4: I just was a long ceremony, it was, and it
- 39:40Speaker 4: was a very long like normally you go and do
- 39:42Speaker 4: the ceremony and twenty thirty it was.
- 39:47Speaker 3: It was thirty to forty.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it was probably forty minutes. But it was beautiful,
- 39:50Speaker 4: it was fun, it was entertaining.
- 39:52Speaker 3: We didn't really want it to be that long, by
- 39:54Speaker 3: the way.
- 39:54Speaker 4: No, I thought, I don't thought I don't know that.
- 39:57Speaker 3: I don't know that people.
- 39:58Speaker 5: Loved when you say each other ceremony.
- 40:01Speaker 3: We're like, Okay, this is getting a little annoying because I.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Were the alling asleep or anything. I'm saying like it
- 40:06Speaker 4: was like fun, like your kids were involved and you
- 40:09Speaker 4: had different like it was like a it was like
- 40:11Speaker 4: a Broadway play.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it was kind of like we well, we definitely
- 40:15Speaker 3: wanted to both say vows to our children, like I
- 40:17Speaker 3: wanted to say it to his kids. He wanted to
- 40:18Speaker 3: say it to my kids, because we're not just marrying
- 40:21Speaker 3: each other, we're marrying each other's children. All six we're
- 40:23Speaker 3: all six glue now, and so that was part of it.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Not took what three minutes each speech and then or
- 40:29Speaker 3: or whatever vows to each other. And then John and
- 40:32Speaker 3: I's vows were three and a half. We were we
- 40:34Speaker 3: were like, did you practice your vowels? And like, yeah,
- 40:36Speaker 3: I cried every time. He's like, I've done it five,
- 40:37Speaker 3: I've cried every time. I'm like I've cried every time.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm gonna have to say hemorrhoid every time.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I'm hemorrhoid, hemorrhoid eyd because it's like.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Dick and balls, dick and balls, dick and balls. Anytime
- 40:46Speaker 4: I changed in mind, anytime.
- 40:48Speaker 3: He started to get tear out'd be like okay. And
- 40:49Speaker 3: then because I just didn't want to ruin my two
- 40:54Speaker 3: hours of makeup. But so anyways, so that took time.
- 40:58Speaker 3: And then our pastor is not long. Is long winded
- 41:00Speaker 3: because he knows us and loves us and obviously knows
- 41:02Speaker 3: a lot of the story behind it. So he end
- 41:05Speaker 3: up being a very long ceremony. Nobody knows this, Okay,
- 41:09Speaker 3: you don't even yes, you know, no, you don't, okay.
- 41:12Speaker 3: A week a week before my ceremony, the singer I
- 41:16Speaker 3: had one song I was gonna walk down to Alex
- 41:18Speaker 3: Warren's Ordinary Okay, it's so ordinary because it's now on
- 41:21Speaker 3: every top pop station anyway. So I'm like, okay, no,
- 41:23Speaker 3: I'm not doing that anymore because I don't want it
- 41:25Speaker 3: to be ordinary. So I was I was like, I
- 41:28Speaker 3: need God to be walking me down the aisle. So
- 41:30Speaker 3: I was like going through all the songs my mom loved,
- 41:32Speaker 3: was going through all the all these things, and then
- 41:34Speaker 3: all of a sudden, Oceans popped up one day when
- 41:36Speaker 3: I was driving and it's on my list, my playlist
- 41:40Speaker 3: and I'm like, that's what I want. So I send
- 41:42Speaker 3: it to my MC guy and the guy that's running
- 41:44Speaker 3: the production of the whole show, of the whole wedding.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I send it to my wedding planner. I send it
- 41:47Speaker 3: to Johnny and Johnny goes because it's the string cord
- 41:50Speaker 3: tet version right, And Johnny goes, too boring, can't do that.
- 41:54Speaker 3: It's got to have the words. He goes, the string
- 41:56Speaker 3: cord tet version of the song is not it's not
- 41:58Speaker 3: powerful enough, and I go, Okay. Then I'm getting a
- 42:00Speaker 3: singer called my pastor and text my pastor both pastors,
- 42:06Speaker 3: and I said, who can sing this from the church?
- 42:08Speaker 3: Who can sing this and nail it? And I go
- 42:10Speaker 3: it needs to be impacted, it needs to be nailed,
- 42:12Speaker 3: And they're like, Joey can do it. I'm like perfect.
- 42:16Speaker 3: So in a week's time, he practiced with the string quartet,
- 42:18Speaker 3: nailed it, nailed it, and I was fighting back tears,
- 42:21Speaker 3: but I felt the Holy Spirit come in during that song.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Was exactly what we wanted. And then I said, I
- 42:26Speaker 3: took it even a step further and I said, when
- 42:28Speaker 3: I get to John, I don't want to just go
- 42:30Speaker 3: right into the ceremony. I want to sit there and
- 42:32Speaker 3: really just talk to the Lord and just you know,
- 42:35Speaker 3: bring his presence full lee into the circle. And so
- 42:38Speaker 3: that's what we did, and it was beautiful. We had
- 42:41Speaker 3: chills and tears and all the good feels.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Alexis, what about you did a rose ceremony for your parents?
- 42:47Speaker 4: Can you tell us a little.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Bit about that? So yeah, that was another touch, which
- 42:50Speaker 3: is why the ceremony went forty minutes. But we wanted
- 42:53Speaker 3: to I've I'm an orphan. I've lost both parents and
- 42:56Speaker 3: I lost my stepdad. So I've lost my dad and
- 42:59Speaker 3: she thousand and eight, my stepdad in twenty twelve, and
- 43:02Speaker 3: my mom in twenty twenty four, so or twenty twenty three.
- 43:05Speaker 3: So it's like, I you know, a lot of loss.
- 43:08Speaker 3: And then John lost his father figure whose name was Bill.
- 43:12Speaker 3: He lost him when he was twelve. That's who basically
- 43:14Speaker 3: John felt like raised him. So we decided to put
- 43:16Speaker 3: candles that were you can't have burning candles, so we
- 43:19Speaker 3: had the light up candles there and then they were
- 43:21Speaker 3: in that beautiful little caraft kind of thing, and so
- 43:23Speaker 3: we decided to stick roses in there just to honor them.
- 43:27Speaker 3: To another worship song just to bring ud. So yeah,
- 43:29Speaker 3: that was our way. Do you know what it took
- 43:31Speaker 3: for how many times I had to say hemorrhoid for that?
- 43:34Speaker 4: How many times? And by the way, do you have hemorrhoids?
- 43:38Speaker 3: Is that why I have a hemorrhid? But it just
- 43:39Speaker 3: it's funny to like talk about it.
- 43:40Speaker 5: I love that.
- 43:41Speaker 3: It's funny because it's like, who that's the ugliest word
- 43:43Speaker 3: ever you've ever heard? And it's like makes you laugh,
- 43:46Speaker 3: right see look at your face. Yeah, it makes you laugh.
- 43:48Speaker 4: So it's like it makes you laugh or it makes
- 43:50Speaker 4: you itch.
- 43:50Speaker 3: What's gonna make me not have a tear? And that
- 43:54Speaker 3: was the word that just comes to mind.
- 43:57Speaker 5: Oh, we love it.
- 43:58Speaker 3: And then we went up to the reces option. Yeah,
- 44:00Speaker 3: and then let's talk about the hat. Okay, so this
- 44:03Speaker 3: is the other thing that I wanted. I told you, well,
- 44:06Speaker 3: on top of all the entertainment that you were there
- 44:07Speaker 3: for the violinists.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Violinists, you had a rap song we did.
- 44:11Speaker 3: That was a surprise. That was that was that was
- 44:13Speaker 3: He's He's just incredible. But then the hats were something
- 44:18Speaker 3: where we were like we want them to really take
- 44:21Speaker 3: like a true like something home so the Rancher Hat Bar,
- 44:25Speaker 3: they do customize hats, which is funny because you guys
- 44:28Speaker 3: just filmed us on this episode. Emily was is.
- 44:31Speaker 5: That the same place?
