- 0:00SPEAKER_02: My whole motto with Love and Bitcoin is learning and owning Bitcoin is an act of love for yourself, for your family, and for your future.
- 0:11SPEAKER_02: So it's not about getting rich quick.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: It's not about having the best performing asset in history.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: It's not about any of this.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: It's about like if you take care of yourself in a holistic approach, you need to take care of your economic state as well.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: If you love yourself and you want to see yourself succeed, unfortunately, like money does play a part in this game of life.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: And so learning and owning Bitcoin is just another layer of that act of love that you can give to yourself.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: And then once that's sorted, again, you can move out to your family, your friends.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Ultimately, it's just a future that keeps on giving a bit more.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: She's also the founder of Notionology.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: I think hopefully I'm saying that right, where she's helped hundreds of entrepreneurs build better businesses with Notion and AI, which I'm super excited to dive in.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: We're excited to hear her story, what led her down the Bitcoin rabbit hole, and why she's so passionate about helping others along the way.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Molly, welcome to the show.
- 1:37unknown: Yes, thank you.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: Thank you guys.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for having me.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: I'm super excited to be here and and yeah, just talk Bitcoin.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let's see.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 1:45SPEAKER_03: Awesome.
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: Well, do you mind sharing a little bit about you and how you kind of first got introduced to Bitcoin?
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: So, well, my story with Bitcoin, it's layered like many are.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: You know, you get your first bit of exposure.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: And so that was in 2017.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: I was um project managing an IT team in New Zealand, and I love the guys that I'm working with.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: They're a bunch of tech nerds, and I heard the the words Bitcoin here and there.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: And because I was living in New Zealand, I was thinking about it to help me pay off my student loans so I could transfer Bitcoin from New Zealand to America without all of the fees.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: But I was scared and it was too much to look into, so I kind of put it on the back burner until maybe I'd say a few years later when my now husband was looking into it, and I kind of let him do his thing.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: You know, you play with your cryptos.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: I I I don't want to hear about it.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: You know, it's it's volatile, uh so risky.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: And then I really got into it, I'd say not too long ago, a couple, maybe about two and a half years ago, when uh yeah, he looked at me with this love in his eyes, really.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Uh and he he said, I think, I think I figured it out.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: I think I think you need to know about this for real.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: And so that was my first entrance in.
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: And then from there, it really escalated quite quickly.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: It went from it went from like, you're serious?
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Okay, let's look into this to um an obsession, to say the least.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: And that's where I've been at for the last yeah, two and a half years.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: My gosh, that's amazing.
- 3:27SPEAKER_03: Because not every partner has that receptive um conversation with their partner, you know, just saying, because I was kind of on the same boat as you, like, yeah, you got this.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm gonna like focus on other like our family, obviously.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: But it was like I just couldn't focus on that.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: I was like, Yeah, sure, you yeah, you got that.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: And then when we started talking more and more and more of our, you know, fiat money was going into Bitcoin, I was like, oh, I should probably know what's going on now, right?
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: So it's good that you had that moment.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's that's so funny.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It's so funny though, how with Bitcoin it's always layered too.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: You heard her from coworkers, and then like years later, you heard her with your, you know, now husband.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Uh, or like where people first get into it, it's like altcoin, all coin, all coin, and it's like, oh, just Bitcoin only, right?
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: It's so funny how people like navigate this space, and where he looked at you, the thing in his eye, like, hey, we need to like lock in.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Because I think people don't understand once you go down that rabbit hole and you like, once you see it, you can't unsee it.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And you're like, wow, like this is real, like this happened, like this is what we're playing, this is what we're participating in.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and you're just kind of blown away, and you're just like, we need to like exit, you know.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Uh so we always hear Bitcoin here and there, but like once we take that leap to actually like hold on to it, like, let me see what this thing is.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: You're always just kind of blown away by like what you discover.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: And I I also am like so blessed that I found it in the way that I never had to get into shit coins.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, good for you.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: He did the work first there.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Uh, you know, he was like, No, let's try this and this.
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Oh, I don't want to hear about it and don't want to know.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: And then by the time it came to me, it was like fully vetted, like this is it, Bitcoin only.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: So it's you know, like as a team, you try to separate the roles in the way that makes the most sense.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Like you said, Danielle, you know, you were focusing on the family and he's focusing on that.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Like I was focusing on one type of uh like asset accumulation, he was focused on another.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: Let's like not focus on the same thing, and now we're just hyper focused.
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: That's the best thing you can do.
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: I feel like that's usually an issue, just in general with relationships, you know, is that sometimes one person has this goal in mind of like this dream, and they're not being taken along for that dream or taken along with for that ride.
- 5:44SPEAKER_03: I feel like Anthony's done a really good job, and your it sounds like your husband has too, just being able to share, hey, with like when you said with love in his eyes, like this is what we have to do, you know?
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: And then for a partner to say, you know what, I believe you, I trust you, I obviously married you.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 6:03SPEAKER_03: Like I would hope that what you're doing is the right thing for our family, right?
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: And so I think that sometimes if you're not taking your partner along that ride and putting them towards that same goal, same dream, that vision, that's where that disconnect happens.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: And I think that's so cool for you to share that because I do feel that women need to, you know, hear that, you know, like, oh, maybe I should be on the same page as my husband, maybe I should be along for the ride, or hey, husband or partner, whoever, or vice versa, it could be the wife that's taking the lead.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: Hey, are you like, what's the goal with this?
- 6:39SPEAKER_03: You know, just having a sit-down conversation as uncomfortable or as I don't know, I don't think it's very uncomfortable.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: I think you should know what everyone's dealing personally, but you know, you know, they're just very like, oh, I don't want to deal with this, or like I trust this person to make the decision or not make the decision.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: But it should be, it's so much stronger when you're together.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: And with what I'm building with love and Bitcoin, actually, I think of four different types of women who will come.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: And one of them, um, I call her the beloved, and she's kind of like me and you, Danielle.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: Like we were in it a little bit, like we listened to our partners or husbands, and and finally it's like clicking like I'm ready to give him the the time of day that he deserves in this space because there are so many women in this specific category.
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: And I think that's great to also like connect with all the men on X and everything like that, because eventually, hopefully, they'll be able to send their women my way.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: You know, I'll be able to help them, I'll be that transition period because the beloved archetype that I'm I'm working with here is a huge area that can be tapped in a Bitcoin adoption.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: And if you don't mind sharing, Molly, like love and Bitcoin, like what exactly is this for the our audience that's listening?
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: If you can kind of go deep into that, um, I know you created like multiple businesses, and this is like one of them.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Uh, if you could just share with us uh that's yeah.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: So, geez, love and bitcoin is it's really a movement.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: Um, and it's still in the very beginning stages, as we were speaking before.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: There's so many things that uh we have to balance in order to pay the bills and find passion and uh you know find aligned work.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: And so for me, it was bridging that gap between Bitcoin and the the women adopting Bitcoin because it's crazy to see how male-dominated this this whole sector is, and it's not like a bad thing by any means.
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: They're rocking it.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: I love them, they're the best.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: But like I want us ladies to also be on board with that.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: And so, like I said, one of the reasons I started believing and listening about Bitcoin is what's love in my partner's eyes.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: And I think that love in Bitcoin is going to be basically a community of women who are getting together.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: We're having that safe space to talk about Bitcoin, whether it's online or in person.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: Um, and in person, ideally, possibly holding some retreats here in Thailand for the different levels of uh Bitcoin knowledge you're at.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: I've been speaking with a lot of women who are like deep into it, and we just want a place to get together and you know have a good time and have that community that can be lacking in our real life because you gotta A find the Bitcoin women, B uh like hope that they're around you and C, like if they're not, you gotta orange pill them, which is can be difficult.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: So love and Bitcoin, we're gonna look at education and community.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: Um, and ideally in the future there might be some type of app that would be similar to a Tinder for Bitcoiners, but there's a lot of safety.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: But really now it's all about because I think, you know, what a great this is such a huge ethical ground that you stand on.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: So why not have a way to like m merge these two really easily through something like an app?
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, love and bitcoin is in the works and it will be uh an exciting space for women to come together.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: And it's really actually aimed at those who have no knowledge, those who are very like maybe like low on the traditional educational scale, low on the economic scale.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: Like I want it to be super approachable and I want it to be a place that anybody could send their mom or their sister or their grandma to to like get on board with Notion and feel or not Notion, get on board with Bitcoin and and feel the love.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, I love that.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: I love that so much, Molly.
- 10:42SPEAKER_03: I please invite me to this for retreat.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: I've talked to so many girls so far that like are already deep in it and we're like, yeah, let's do it.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: Like this is gonna be fun.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: And that sounds amazing.
- 10:53SPEAKER_03: Um we were, yeah, we've always wanted to go to Thailand.
- 10:56SPEAKER_03: So we oh my gosh, please, I would love to come.
- 11:00SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: But it's such a nice way for one, I like you said, like to just feel welcomed in a space that feels so male dominated and can feel very intimidating at times.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: Um, like even for me, I was like, I don't really know what's going on.
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't know, is there any other girls like to asking these questions, you know, or like are there any other partners in this?
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: And that's why we really wanted to start this podcast because we wanted to kind of show me asking kind of silly questions sometimes and make people feel less, you know, less uncomfortable and less intimidated by asking those questions, especially with their partner um in front of them.
- 11:35SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I love so why did you choose love and Bitcoin?
- 11:39SPEAKER_03: And you know, what does that word love represent to you in this space?
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: Because usually we we associate Bitcoin with charts and prices and ups and downs and fair and bull and all of that.
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: Like, why love and bitcoin?
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, I think my whole motto with Love and Bitcoin is learning and owning Bitcoin is an act of love for yourself, for your family, and for your future.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: So it's not about you know getting rich quick.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: It's not about you know having the best performing asset in history, it's not about any of this.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: It's about like if you take care of yourself in a holistic approach, you need to take care of your economic uh state as well.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: If you love yourself and you want to see yourself succeed, unfortunately, like money does play a part in this game of life.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: And so learning and owning Bitcoin is just another layer of that act of love that you can give to yourself.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: And then once that's sorted again, you can move out to your family, your friends, and ultimately it's just a future that keeps on giving.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that is so good because people don't understand when people talk about money, it's like taboo, right?
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: That's like one thing where like, oh wow, and then when you find out, oh, like what is money, when you ask for like what is money, and then like they don't want to feel like belittled, right?
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: When they're like, Oh, like how did I not know this?
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Like my whole life, but like that's actually the truth.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Like, we don't know what money is, and just humble yourself and like okay, well, I was wrong because we were never taught that.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Like, have grace with yourself, like we were never taught what money is.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Like you said, like uh economically, like everything takes money.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: So we need to if we take care of ourselves with that, then we can actually focus on things that matter, yes, right?
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: After you get the after you get the money situation out the way, now you're like, oh, okay, cool.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Well, like I want to give my time, or I want to work on my health, or I want to work on my marriage, or I want to like uh spend more time with my kids.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Once you get the money thing out the way, you can actually pour love into these things, right?
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Because right now we're doing the opposite, we're all like focusing on money, on how to get money, and then what gets our leftovers?
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Our family, our marriage, our kids.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: And so I think that's really great that you pointed that out.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, thanks for like on sharing that.
- 13:51SPEAKER_03: Oh, sure.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and so you focus specifically on women, it sounds like.
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: So, um, what barriers do you think us as women are facing as we enter into this Bitcoin space?
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: I think community is one for sure.
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: You know, like it is uh hard to find other women in Bitcoin.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: Um and I think uh women when they are looking into Bitcoin, they see the volatility and associate it with risk.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: They assume that um the ship has already sailed, you know, they listen to a lot of FUD because that is what's available to them.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: And I think for many people, the mainstream media is their only source of knowledge or news or updates, and that's you know, no fault to their well, some fault to their own, but you know, like it's it's the reality of what's going on right now.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: And so if you're only hearing certain things, it's going to be hard to kind of cross over to the next stage.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: And and conviction, I think, is really what helps us adopt Bitcoin as women.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: Once we learn about it and know about it, like we are great hodlers, we are good with money.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: And I think Bitcoin for the women who I have orange pilled, it's been just amazing to see them go from like, oh, I've got a little bit of interest.
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: Tell me about it, Molly.
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: You know, okay.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: If you to like text messaging me, like one of my friends recently she said, Um, you know, damn it, Molly, I'll never be able to date a man who isn't a Bitcoiner now.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Well, that's understandable.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: You know, like you have to be on the same level.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: You have to, you have to understand these same concepts.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: And I think it's a great opportunity for women to find love in that fact, because there are so many male Bitcoiners that are gonna be able to share that same value.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: And another final, I think, scary part for getting women on is just the whole technical aspect of buying it and where to buy it.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: So the education that I want to provide too is just to make it super simple, like partner with a few really easy, simple um uh exchanges and and wallets, and they're out there.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: It can be three clicks in your in cold storage, literally.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: And they just gotta know that that exists.
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's so that's such a great reminder to to us all as women, too, that you can have you're you're able to do this, you can do this, you just need some support.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: And I think women uh we love community.
- 16:27SPEAKER_03: We really do.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: We love we thrive in spaces together.
- 16:31SPEAKER_03: We really thrive with conversations with one another.
- 16:33SPEAKER_03: And as soon as we feel comfortable and like all the the scary, whatever things that we're thinking about about technology and and finances, it's it just allows us to feel like, oh, we got this.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: Never mind.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: I don't know what I was worried about, right?
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I think like a lot of times you can be afraid to ask stupid questions or there are louder voices out there that are possibly making you feel a little bit um less comfortable.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: And so I think, yeah, having that that like relaxed, uh approachable, shoot the shit kind of Bitcoin education is is what I want to provide.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: You know, I don't want it to be very jargon heavy, I don't want it to be um intense or scary.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: I just want it to be friendly and loving.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, no, that's really good.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: And volatility is your friend, right?
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Like when you look at it, like volatility is your friend.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: It is funny.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: And it it is an it is unfortunate, all the stuff that's out there because whenever people do hear about Bitcoin, unfortunately, if you're not doing your own research, it is uh the media, right?
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: And they're not they're not gonna like uplift Bitcoin because if they know they know the true root of it, it threatens their system.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Like how you were sharing, like women are great haulers.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: I've been in finance, I was in mortgages for like 10 years, and all of our top producers were women, and women are really good with money when they once they lock in and they understand it, they're like, you know, like some of those top producers that I I know, they're really good with their money.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: They're not like they're not just splurging, they're not just buying dumb stuff, like, you know, they're really good on it.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: Um did we're gonna were you gonna share something, Molly?
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: I just said exactly.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: I think, you know, I think we especially, you know, I think of my grandmother, and she was like, we have this story of how she every year, she was a waitress, she had I think four or five kids.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: Five kids?
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: Five kids.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: Um, and she, you know, didn't make a lot of money, and she would save her dimes every year to put on like the best Christmas feasts to ensure that they had presents, and like that was in a time and place when dimes, you know, were there we were still not it was pre-1971.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: And you know, we were still able to do these types of things, and uh for her to still put food on the table, even though it was it was hard on Christmas, that was you know, like we have it in our us, and I think uh that's a great motivation for me to to remember that as well.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: Like we can do this, we can save.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: And I I think once you learn about Bitcoin too, and you learn about inflation and shrinkflation and you s you just look at your dollars differently.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: Like, does this matter?
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: Does this, you know, does fancy purse matter, or does or does like lifetime safety and security matter?
- 19:19SPEAKER_02: And when you don't equate your dollars to lifetime safety and security, maybe the fancy purse does matter.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: Maybe it does give you that dopamine hit, maybe it does do the right thing that it needs to, but like now, you know, smash buying Bitcoin is my dopamine.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: That's the best.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: That's the best.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Oh gosh, yeah.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: Well, many people think that buying Bitcoin, you know, starting that, you know, is probably the end of the journey, but actually it's the reality is it's actually the beginning of your journey, right?
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: And so Bitcoin changes the way you think about your health, relationships, parenting, long just long-term decision making.
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: Like, how has that changed for you?
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: I mean, I think the biggest change I've had learning about Bitcoin is my outlook on life.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm a millennial, I uh graduated in 2008 in the financial crisis.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: I had this whole idea, like I was in student loan debt, I I got into credit card debt, I you know, I was trying to work my way up the corporate ladder to to, you know, get enough.
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: And when I realized that we have something that we can hold on to, can can save my time and energy in that abstracted form, I felt like a bit of hope.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: You know, I felt hope and I felt like my nervous system settle and I felt that we don't have to look at everything as negatively as I had been for so many years.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm never gonna buy a house, I'm never gonna have enough money for retirement, I'm never gonna be able to do these things.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: And now, like, I mean, I I am nomadic in a sense, I live in Thailand, so like buying a house isn't a a a thing that I want to do, but it was for a while, you know.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: I was like, I'm ready to buy a house, I want to buy this house, and now I'm like, doesn't make sense financially.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Uh possibly do better in Bitcoin.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: And I think I still I know I probably won't live in Thailand forever, so I can still have this asset that is liquid 24-7 that can go with me across borders.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think yeah, I it was just a total mindset shift in everything from like, you know, when we eat, we'll we'll look at things like is that fiat food or is that real food?
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: Proof of work is in everything, you know, and the statement proof of work was something that I never even thought of before.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: And so now even like building love in Bitcoin, like I've had to take a little break in the last month or two because I'm working so much harder on my other business, but like it's it's it's the proof of work.
- 21:52SPEAKER_02: Like I know that the energy that I put in is going to come out to something and it's going to be valuable, and I'm gonna have a way to save it.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: It and it's just it's a complete mindset shift.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: It's not just buying Bitcoin, it's yeah, your whole life is different.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: I totally agree with you so much because like living in America, that's like the number one like thing on the list is like having a home, right?
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: It's like behind everyone's mind, they're thinking about it when they're at work.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: And um, I always think about too, once you learn Bitcoin, you're like, Do I even own this home?
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you don't.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: You don't, and people don't understand that.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: This phrase that I would like share with family and friends, like it was always so funny, is always like someone gets on your property, like, get off my property, right?
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: And it's like, but it's like it's never yours, right?
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: If you buy something and you pay it off, right, your loan, and you comp and you continue to make payments on this, do you really even own it?
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, you don't.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: And there's this thing where like even when you buy a house, right?
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: I I you know I work in I've worked in the mortgage industry with homes and insurance.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: I I work in insurance, so I still help a lot of people that are buying new homes, right?
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: Um, it still doesn't like deny the truth, right?
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: So when you put a down payment on your on your home, it just feels weird, like we're just lying to each other.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: Where someone puts a down payment on a home, and then they're like, I'm a home.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: Take a picture in front of it with a little sign, and they're like, We just bought our first home.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: And it's just like, man, like number one, you're actually further away from being a homeowner because uh you have like 30 years locked in on this loan, right?
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: You're not even and then when you fast forward and you pay it off and you're still paying your taxes, it's just like you don't own it, you're just renting it from the government now.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and it makes me so sad too for those who are on fixed incomes in their older age because the property taxes are going up, the value of that fixed income isn't going up accordingly, and and insurance is going up.
- 23:51SPEAKER_02: Like my sister and dad, they tell me the prices they pay in America for the the houses houses that they own.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Like that's my tier, like just your extra stuff.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: And so it's yeah, it's insane.
- 24:06SPEAKER_02: But it is insane.
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: Different structure in box.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: No, I uh I completely agree with you.
- 24:13SPEAKER_03: I think I think you'll have a positive impact eventually, right?
- 24:15SPEAKER_03: It's like you have to keep just being doing what you're doing, and you know, I feel like our even our family too.
- 24:21SPEAKER_03: It's like this doesn't make sense yet to them, you know, like what we're you know, always chatting about sometimes.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: And you just have to do what you feel is right, and if that's okay.
- 24:30SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't need everyone to understand what we're doing.
- 24:33SPEAKER_03: I don't need everyone to underst I don't, you know, it's okay.
- 24:35SPEAKER_03: We still love each other, we still want the best for each other.
- 24:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's all good, you know.
- 24:39SPEAKER_03: You have to just, but I know it's very, it's very frustrating, especially here, you know, in the States, and you know, it's just it's crazy.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: It's absolutely insane.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:48SPEAKER_03: So I kind of want to dive in a little bit into your notion and AI, all that world for you.
- 24:53SPEAKER_03: Cause I know you're probably really focusing on that right now.
- 24:56SPEAKER_03: It cut sounds like.
- 24:57SPEAKER_03: Um, so how do you see AI changing the way entrepreneurs build businesses over the next you know, few years, five years or so?
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: So a little background.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: I own a consultancy called Notionology, like you said before.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I help um businesses of all shapes and sizes get on board by building notion systems that can help them from, you know, a simple CRM or project manager to uh going to parliament with one of the clients I've had in New Zealand.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: You know, with Notion and AI right now, it's at a very special place, I think, because it's never been easier to start your own business, to organize that business, to systemize your business, to automate your business, and then add that AI layer right on top of it so it can really become this autonomous uh creature that really it's something that I've never imagined before.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: Like I just redid my website at notionology.com and I did it all with AI.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: I did it all, like, of course, my husband helped me because he's a web developer, so he has the good eye.
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: But like I didn't want to bug him, you know.
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: I wanted to say, like, I can do this on my own.
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: And yeah, there's just so much opportunity for AI to help entrepreneurs.
- 26:13SPEAKER_02: And I don't know if you've seen Jack Mahler's speech.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: He talks about it a lot, but I think it was at the Bitcoin Prague where he believes that AI will bring this new um renaissance to humankind because no longer are we gonna have to like push papers and you know do these roles that can easily be taught to an AI.
- 26:36SPEAKER_02: We are going to be opened up to become like creative beings, to build with our hands and art and craft and I think be be given money in a way that represents a vi our very unique talents rather than you know, like filling in a spreadsheet.
- 26:53SPEAKER_02: And so what I'm doing with notionology, I think I really am helping these entrepreneurs to take their busy work out of their hands to get them focused on what they do best.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: And so normally I work with all types of businesses, but recently I've been thinking, why why don't I align this with what I love as well with Bitcoin?
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: So I I'm gonna be reaching out to like small business owners in the Bitcoin space because you can be a Bitcoiner and own a plumbing company and we can help you.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: Or you could be um, you know, a Bitcoin company or a podcast or you know, like somebody who's doing something out there that we can we can look at how to make your system smarter so you can do like your actual talents.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: And so that's that's what I'm doing with Notionology, and it's a great project that I've had for the last six years, and it's um been something that I have to balance with Love and Bitcoin because there is only one of me.
- 27:49SPEAKER_02: But ideally, like a lot of what I have here with Notionology too, like runs without me, except when I want to like build a new website, so like it can be very hands-off at times, yeah, and that's and that's when I give myself to love and bitcoin.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's that's so good.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: And I just wanted to share with you too, because AI came up in our last conversation, and it's probably gonna come up a lot in our future podcast because that's where the world's headed, and Bitcoiners connect with AI, and then also uh he also shared with me, uh, Sean Clark also shared with us that uh like AI is gonna want to deal with money that's uh the best form of money, right?
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: And if you ask AI what's the best form of money, they'll tell you it's Bitcoin because they're not they're gonna be like, I'm not gonna work or do whatever it is that you want me to do for something that you could just print, right?
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: And so it's really interesting on where we're going.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Where do you think we are?
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Like, do you think we're still very early, or do you think we're like halfway, you need to you need to know this now, type of deal, or like you still have a little bit of time to learn it?
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: Uh, just because I know um I wanna I I I feel like I don't want to be left behind.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: That's my thing.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like this is this is not this is something that you need to learn as a skill set, and so as a skill set, like do you think we're still in the very early stages where we have time, or should we already have a good grip of it, or like what do you think?
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: And I think a lot about like AI and Bitcoin in similar terms of the tech adoption curve.
- 29:18SPEAKER_02: Um I like when I'm in it, for example, like I am, just like we are with Bitcoin, it kind of feels like everybody knows and everybody's on it, and we're all in this.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: But the reality is we're very, very early.
- 29:32SPEAKER_02: The reality is that I think you could look up the actual statistics, and there are like three percent adoption for for AI and like seven for Bitcoin, but don't quote me on that.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: But it's super early, so there's tons of time to get in there and tons of time to like catch up.
- 29:52SPEAKER_02: And the thing about it is just like making it a practice, and that's kind of like what I talk about with Bitcoin too, like having my Bitcoin practice is one of the the models that we talk about in in Love and Bitcoin, just like something that you you continue to grow and you learn and you just don't let it sit by the side.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: Um honestly, like I had to take off I think it was like five months recently because my mom passed away and I think um and I just stepped away from it all, you know.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: Like I was like, I'm not even opening up my computer, like I don't care.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: And when I when I started getting back into it, it felt like, oh my god, like where do I begin?
- 30:33SPEAKER_02: Like I have to give this as a service and I don't even know what's going on.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: But it doesn't take long, and it also like it it will align, I think, especially for you guys owning your business, like and or like having this podcast, like there's so much that you could use AI for just to make things easier and make it possible to do all the different things that you want to do and take that busy work out.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: So I would say you're definitely like not too late, just start slow.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: You can do like a little course or just YouTube Academy, honestly.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: Every just I'm always on YouTube, and it was funny when I really got heavily into it after my mom after like I came back on.
- 31:14SPEAKER_02: I brought my husband and I was I kind of was like, look at what we can do.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, well we can do this, like look at all these things.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: So we kind of had like kind of a Bitcoin style obsession for like a month or two, and now I'm slowing down a little bit, you know.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: It it's um it's the best part about it too, is it can teach you.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: Like you can just say, like, I have no idea what to learn, and uh this is what I'm doing right now.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: Like, what do you think would be an effective first lesson?
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: You know, in a teaching.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: So it's cool like that.
- 31:48SPEAKER_02: Uh it can be um easily integrated, and you're already probably way further ahead than than most.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: Well, I remember the first time I used ChatGBT and I was like, oh my gosh, this is amazing.
- 32:01SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, like it was just I wrote something and I was like, I just need this, use my brain, like make this a little bit more friendly, or you know, whatever.
- 32:11SPEAKER_03: And it was like, this is exactly what I was trying to say, you know, and it was cool.
- 32:15SPEAKER_03: I mean, I couldn't even believe that this was available, right?
- 32:18SPEAKER_03: Because like as being a millennial, like you had to handwrite some of your papers growing up, right?
- 32:23SPEAKER_03: And then you were, then you're retyping them, and then you had to put it into this whole like system that makes sure you didn't for you know, uh copyright or anything like that, right?
- 32:32SPEAKER_03: So it was just funny to like go into this system of like, oh my gosh.
- 32:36SPEAKER_03: And being now in the education system, it's kind of interesting to now learn about how AI is being integrated in tech in the education for kids who are like growing up with it, right?
- 32:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:47SPEAKER_03: So I'm like, my mind is getting constantly blown all the time.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: Well, so even before that, like I remember just writing letters in class.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, like pass this note to that girl over there or pass this note to my friend over there, you know.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the good old days.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: It's so cool.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Because with us having the podcast, we're always looking ways to help streamline.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: Because our our goal for us is like we try to pump out an episode a week.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: And so however we can automate that or like just less is more, in my opinion, like get systems in place, that's always gonna be helpful, right?
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: So I'm always interested in like making our lives easier.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: Um so I'm really I'm really interested in like if you don't mind sharing with me, um, what Notionology, what's what is this?
- 33:34SPEAKER_02: There's an app called Notion, and it's got about a hundred million users.
- 33:38SPEAKER_02: It's very popular right now, but it's okay it's been like Bitcoin, you know.
- 33:43SPEAKER_02: Like I I was an early adopter and uh I've watched it grow.
- 33:48SPEAKER_02: And what it does is it allows you to to have this blank canvas, and then you can use this app and create your own business system.
- 33:59SPEAKER_02: So, for example, for you guys, you might have like a CRM of names of people like potentials that you want to ask to be on your podcast, and then those that like you have asked, and then you know, maybe the email conversations between them.
- 34:14SPEAKER_02: And then you could do something like once they say yes, you can give them a form that will automatically go into your CRM.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: You can automatically have AI kind of figure out some questions based on what they answer.
- 34:28SPEAKER_02: You can send out their link.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: You could uh then like have it like when you have completed, for example, your podcast, you can upload it and you can maybe use Claude to um cut it in a way that like you set your skill for it.
- 34:43SPEAKER_02: Um so the Notion kind of becomes this system that can be built to do a lot of things.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: But you could open it up now and start using Notion yourself and just like wing it.
- 34:55SPEAKER_02: But people like me are the ones that you go to when you want to think about like systems architecture and design.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: We want to like walk through your workflow from like beginning to end, and I can give you the ideas because you don't know what you don't know.
- 35:09SPEAKER_02: And a lot of times, because with Notion, anybody can go in there and just like set up a database and set up a project and set up all of these things, they end up spending so much time learning and thinking, and should I do it this way?
- 35:22SPEAKER_02: Because there is no right or wrong answer with it, it's very much a blank canvas, and it's it just gives, yeah, like everyday people an opportunity to build business systems, and then you come to people like me and uh my crew, and we do it from a lens of experience and uh architecture that can be lacking for the everyday person.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: That is so good.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: That is so good because like we want to focus on like the person that we're gonna interview, right?
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: And so, like and do research on them.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: Like, that's fun for us.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, okay, cool.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: Like, um, you know, uh, we're gonna have Jeff Booth on.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: So, like, we'll watch some podcasts with Jeff Booth.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: Like, as an example, like I'm hoping to try to get Jeff Booth.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, like, as an example, um like, oh, okay, we're gonna watch him, so then we can like focus on watching his most recent podcast or what he's talking about, instead of like, oh, like, okay, we gotta edit this last this the latest episode, and we gotta figure out a title and we gotta figure out a thumbnail.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: Like, those things are fun too, don't get me wrong, because we've learned we're very new to this space.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: So we're getting slowly better.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: We're slowly getting better, which is really cool.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: Like, when you just look at yourself, you know, reflect.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's also like something where like this can definitely be like automated.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: This is definitely something that can be uh less time consuming, and then it actually will allow us to like even focus on like even maybe uh coming up with a product or service that we can pair with our podcast, right?
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: I think like you know, owning a brand and like uh being able to like have everything in-house and then using like a podcast to blast it out, right?
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: All this really excites me a lot because um yeah, just because it's it's about Bitcoin, we get to hang out with Bitcoiners, she gets to learn from like Molly, yeah, you know, all of these things make me super happy.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: Um, so yeah, thank you for sharing that.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and it's also a great tool to like store all of your knowledge as well and organize it in a certain way.
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: So maybe for example, like you got Jeff Booth in there and you want to like uh you know store your notes about him and you know your feedback, like you could have like YouTube videos in there and your ideas on the YouTube video and kind of just it kinda can be like a blank canvas, a blank document, but then you could connect that to, for example, the the podcast database, and then if you get like sponsors, you could have like a sponsor database or affiliate database, and you can like see, and then you can run reports, you know, how much you could connect it to like your YouTube numbers or your website numbers, and you can start to use AI to like see what's performing better and how you know what what's working and what's not.
- 37:59SPEAKER_02: Like, for example, like my ex, um, when I was really active when I first started uh loving Bitcoin, I had a whole system and notion where like I would open it up and it would prompt me like something to think about, like what makes you mad about Bitcoin?
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: You know, like so I'd be like, oh write what makes me mad.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: And every day I had like five different prompts that would always be the same each week, right?
- 38:22SPEAKER_02: And then I can just write it in there, press schedule, it goes out, and then I can also at the end of the week, I would have a report come in, like what were the best performers?
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: Okay, let's take the best performers and put those out for three months later.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: And because the thing is, you don't want to spend all your time doing content when you can have just like 30 main trig ideas and you can just reword them and and do them.
- 38:45SPEAKER_02: Um and so yeah, like content automation and repurposing.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: There's just like even I like I have a thing where I'm gonna make them into carousels, so like the best performing tweets.
- 38:56SPEAKER_02: I've got like AI puts it into um like a carousel form, and it'll be like, okay, well, this is how it would look better there, and then it goes into a Canva template based on my brand, and you just kind of press publish, and there's a lot of things that you can do that are very feels like like when you're talking, I feel like everything's like untapped, untapped, untapped.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: Like I'm just like uh discovering like there's so much more, and like I love it because I all honestly think like um the future is for people who are creative or are for people that are like uh like untapping into these areas that they've never like discovered before in themselves, right?
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: And in our brain, we're like, oh okay, cool.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: Um I I I love that because I I I don't know, I just uh you got me going.
- 39:41SPEAKER_02: Well this is the thing, it's like we just gotta, we just gotta like we all have these beautiful gifts, and I think we can use AI to enhance them and and take us away from the shit stuff that we have to do.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 39:54SPEAKER_03: Well, and my thing is too, we some people don't have a a lot of time.
- 39:57SPEAKER_03: Like for me, I think about my day.
- 39:59SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I can't be on X all day.
- 40:02SPEAKER_03: Like I can't, I it's just not physic, it's not possible.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: I can't be tweeting or Xing, whatever you want to call it, all the time.
- 40:08SPEAKER_03: And and I'm like, I just don't have the capacity.
- 40:13SPEAKER_03: I don't have the brain bandwidth because I still work a job, I still have our three kids.
- 40:18SPEAKER_03: Like it's like we are doing things.
- 40:20SPEAKER_03: So if I could have something that's I I even do this for work, I schedule send so much stuff because that way I can focus on what's happening in that day rather than worrying about the busyness of like uh, you know, an email that needs to be sent on the, you know, on the specific day.
- 40:35SPEAKER_03: Instead of doing it that day, I just schedule everything.
- 40:38SPEAKER_03: Because if you can schedule, send or schedule create those templates or those things ahead of time, it makes your life so much easier.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: And I've in the and I'm not even using AI correctly, probably, but I'm just saying it's those little things that I haven't even tapped into that I'm like, if I can streamline, I can focus on my kids better, on my like I can be more effective in my job, I can be a multitasker without having to multi split me in five places, you know.
- 41:06SPEAKER_03: So that's really interesting.
- 41:08SPEAKER_03: I love we're definitely gonna be chatting with Molly.
- 41:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: I'm full of ideas on it.
- 41:14SPEAKER_03: I love yeah.
- 41:15SPEAKER_03: So I just love how you've been helping these entrepreneurs.
- 41:19SPEAKER_03: Well, what has been something that you've it's been really cool for you, I'm sure, to have these conversations with entrepreneurs.
- 41:24SPEAKER_03: What's been the biggest mindset shift for some of these people who are kind of going into this notionology and starting their own businesses?
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so um I think possibly you're referring to I have a course as well.
- 41:39SPEAKER_02: So I created a course that teaches people how to do exactly what I do.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: And so, like Notion's the app, Notionology is my agency, and then I have the Notion Consultants course.
- 41:50SPEAKER_02: And that has been around for maybe three or four years, and I've helped hundreds of students learn how to do exactly what we've been talking about, you know, like how to build these custom solutions, and and that is something actually like every lesson that I have in my um course uh has some type of mantra of a mindset shift because it really is all about the mind.
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: And to go out on your own and build your own business is is very different than what we're used to.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: Like we're told to go find a good nine to five and have this level of safety and security, but it's an inversion of the truth because you're giving your safety and security to someone else rather than building it on your own.
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: The nine to five isn't safe and secure.
- 42:37SPEAKER_02: The nine to five is the last thing from safe and secure.
- 42:40SPEAKER_02: When you're fully in charge and like connected to the source of your your wealth and your income and your energy, that's when you have safety and security.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: Um and even then, like I I like to say like freedom over security is the most important thing.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: And like being for me, like I want to be able to go to like the many different countries that my family lives in.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: And that would be hard to live, that would be hard to do if if I had a a sit-down nine to five.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: I want to be able to sleep in and never ever ever wake up with an alarm.
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: And that is hard to do with a nine to five.
- 43:20SPEAKER_02: I want to be able to work four days a week, and that is hard to do with these things that are being sold as safety and security.
- 43:26SPEAKER_02: Freedom over safety is like the mindset that you have to have, and also this just like unwavering belief that like it's gonna be okay.
- 43:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because it's all it's always been okay.
- 43:39SPEAKER_02: You've always made it work.
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: Why do you think now you're not gonna make it work?
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: And like when you realize that, the rest just comes so much easier.
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: And it's funny because I like I tell this to the students at the Notion Consultants course as they're going into becoming Notion Consultants, and then as I'm building love and Bitcoin, I'm like, huh.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Is this gonna work?
- 44:01SPEAKER_02: Is this I don't know.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: People are I can't do it.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: You know, like I'm like, why don't listen to what you're saying?
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: You have to just believe in like it's just just unwavering, blind, delusional faith that it's gonna work out.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that is that is so good because like even when um because the nine to five was that safety debt back then, right?
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: You you could talk to older people and they're like, Oh yeah, I've been at my job for like 50, 60 years.
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: I'm like, whoa, like what are you talking about?
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: You've been at your job for like 50, 60 years.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: Like, like that was a realistic thing, right?
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: People would stay at one spot too, they wouldn't hop around in different jobs.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: My just to give you an example, like my father-in-law, he has his own uh insurance agency, he's in it for like 40 plus years.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: Wow, 40 plus years, right?
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: And the main reason why he did it because he had his independence, where like no one was like overseeing him over micromanagement, or yeah, where are you at on your sales or nothing like that?
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: It was nothing like that.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: And now they're like emailing him every day, like, hey, uh, did you do this?
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: Did you do that?
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: And he's like, Whoa, like it's it's like an overreach now, where it's just like he never had that before.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: And I, you know, he gets upset when I tell him this, but I'm like, dude, like this has been my world since I've been in the workforce, and it's like it's ugly, it's gross, it's disgusting.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: And they'll they'll change stuff on him, right?
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: They'll be like, hey, like this is the new way now, and deal with it.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: And he's just deal with it.
- 45:27SPEAKER_01: No choice.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: This is how it is, yeah.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is how it is.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: And like, and then he's like, Man, like it's like they're like forcing me out.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: It's like they're like putting me in a chokehold, and it and it it was just never like that.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: And I think now, in a good way, because I'm I'm optimistic, that we need to be creative, we need to take control, like you said.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: We need to be, we need to go find other routes, we need to have, we need to seek freedom, you know, and things have always worked out before, right?
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: Why would we stop now?
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: And like the way that you feel when you're connected to your source of wealth and you're creating it yourself, like you work so like work doesn't drain you the same way it used to.
- 46:11SPEAKER_02: Work uh inspires you, like you get up and you're like, What am I gonna do today?
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: And like sometimes I just because my my own to-do list is so big that I made for myself, but like then sometimes I can just delete it all.
- 46:23SPEAKER_02: Like, I literally do that.
- 46:24SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you know what?
- 46:25SPEAKER_02: This to-do list has been sitting here forever, and like none of it actually really matters.
- 46:28SPEAKER_02: And then I just get rid of it, and I start from scratch again with new ideas because those ones came and I didn't, and then you know, like it's it it it feels good to work and it feels exciting, and that's like and that was just with like no chronology, like so I can't even imagine when I get to love in Bitcoin, like and this is really popping off, and it's like you know, like with you guys in your podcast, you're waking up at five at four a.m.
- 46:49SPEAKER_02: You're like, I love it, it's okay, it's cool, you know, because like to do something that you truly love and to be paid for it, I think is all of our dreams, and that's different, you know.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 47:00SPEAKER_03: I think that's the perfect way to explain someone's mindset shift is just to have that freedom, that mindset of freedom.
- 47:06SPEAKER_03: And I've always felt very like connected with my faith and like understanding that things will work out because they have before, like you said.
- 47:13SPEAKER_03: And yes, we all go through really challenging times, really hard things, you know.
- 47:18SPEAKER_03: And so, but when you come out on the other side, you're like, Oh my gosh, we got through it and we're okay.
- 47:24SPEAKER_03: And like that was gnarly, but I hope we don't have to do that for again for a while, you know?
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: That's something we don't have to do for a long time.
- 47:32SPEAKER_03: But life is life, right?
- 47:33SPEAKER_03: Life be life, and as we always say, and so it's just really refreshing to hear the mindset of that freedom.
- 47:40SPEAKER_03: It was freedom over security.
- 47:42SPEAKER_03: Is that what you said?
- 47:43SPEAKER_02: I think that's yeah, freedom freedom over safety, freedom over security.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: I think it it's it's kind of yeah, a motto that I I live by.
- 47:51SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 47:52SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 47:53SPEAKER_00: And to wrap things up here too, Molly.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: Um, I wanted to, we always like to end this, uh end off with this question.
- 47:59SPEAKER_00: Uh, Bitcoiner, uh, someone's looking into getting into the Bitcoin space and they're listening to this podcast or they're entering the Bitcoin space that's brand new.
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: Uh, what's some type of advice that you would want to give to them?
- 48:12SPEAKER_02: I think find your people because Bitcoiners are good people.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: And like I'm sure you have one of maybe you had an old buddy who talked about it once.
- 48:23SPEAKER_02: Like, reconnect because it's gonna be so much easier to go down this path when you have somebody to like talk to about it and share your love and excitement or just your questions, because there are a million and like if somebody like I'm so I wouldn't have been able to do it without my husband, like he is the the best when it came to every single question I ever have, and still to this day.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: I'm like, so what is this?
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: And he's like, Okay, how long do we have?
- 48:51SPEAKER_02: You know, and it's I think it's good to have a partner in crime with that, and I think uh it can be friends, family, even strangers in meetups online, ex you know, there's people out there that's gonna make it the best and the easiest thing is so dope.
- 49:08SPEAKER_03: Love your heart for community.
- 49:09SPEAKER_03: That's such a good thing.
- 49:10SPEAKER_00: We were I think we were it's a community answer out there.
- 49:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it is.
- 49:13SPEAKER_03: It's it well, what we were intended for that.
- 49:15SPEAKER_03: I feel like we were created to be in community and like be with one another and learn from one another and love one another.
- 49:21SPEAKER_03: And I just feel like your mindset is just so great.
- 49:25SPEAKER_03: And I've loved learning from you just in this like shy of an hour of our time together, but it's just so great and refreshing to talk to women in Bitcoin to seek your perspective in a different lens, knowing that we're all on the same goal, same path, wanting that freedom for ourselves and our family.
- 49:43SPEAKER_03: And it's just so wonderful to be able to chat with you, Molly.
- 49:46SPEAKER_03: You're amazing.
- 49:48SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Anthony.
- 49:49SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Danielle.
- 49:49SPEAKER_02: It has been so great to be on here.
- 49:51SPEAKER_02: And I wish you guys all the luck on this podcast.
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: I can't wait to see how big it gets.
- 49:56SPEAKER_02: And how when you get Jeff Booth on, tag it.
- 49:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna message her like hey Molly, check this episode out.
- 50:05SPEAKER_03: Well, we're gonna see Molly, where can people connect with you?
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm most active on X right now, Molly Coddle.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: So M-O-L-L-Y-C-O-D-L.
- 50:17SPEAKER_02: And I also have Instagram Molly Coddle underscore.
- 50:21SPEAKER_02: And uh I think that's good for now, but hopefully you'll be able to see me as well on love and bitcoin.com once I get that up to the country.
- 50:29SPEAKER_01: Let's go.
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: Awesome.
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: Thank you, Molly, so much, and thank you everyone for tuning in to To the Moon with the Lunas.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: And we'll see you all on the moon.
- 50:37SPEAKER_01: Peace.
