SPEAKER_01: Is there a major life transition pinching you?
• 0:03
SPEAKER_01: I know you may be asking, what's next?
• 0:06
  SPEAKER_01: What's my purpose?
• 0:08
  SPEAKER_01: What if?
• 0:09
SPEAKER_01: Because I've asked those two.
• 0:11
SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the Start Your Comeback podcast.
• 0:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm Tony Thrash, a certified life coach, and I want to share the tools and practical steps to help you create a winning game plan to move into your new adventure.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_01: This episode is a little different.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_01: It's not a teaching or not a breakdown, but it's sort of a reflection time.
• 0:53
SPEAKER_01: You see, we've spent the last four weeks walking through the Little Things Matter series, and today I want to talk about what's changed in me and what might be changing in you.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_01: Because when we started this, we talked about how life transitions can knock the wind out of you.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_01: How can you go from feeling confident to completely unsure of who you are?
• 1:18
SPEAKER_01: And how it's not the big flashy moments that pull you back, but it's the little things that rebuild your life piece by piece.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_01: So today let's take a moment to look back at what these little things have actually done for us.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_01: Number one, when I first began this series, I was reminded of my own seasons of transition, those times when getting out of bed felt like a victory.
• 1:48
SPEAKER_01: That and making it through a Friday night.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_01: And what I've learned through experience is this it's the basic things that hold you steady when the world feels heavy.
• 2:01
SPEAKER_01: So making your bed, taking a walk, praying a short prayer, lighting a candle, journaling one or two sentences.
• 2:12
  SPEAKER_01: They're not insignificant, they're sacred.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_01: Because they remind us that you still have some agency left, that your life isn't over, and that structure can still exist in the middle of the biggest chaos you've ever been in.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_01: Number two, we talked about the power of small wins.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_01: And I tell you, even now, I still keep a win list.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_01: I wish you could see my calendar that I do on a weekly basis, monthly basis, and I have a win list in there.
• 2:48
SPEAKER_01: Because it's easy for us to forget that progress is being made when you're living it day to day.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_01: That list, those small moments are proof that you're moving even when you feel stuck.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_01: It's your personal scoreboard that says, Hey, I'm still in this game.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_01: And if you've been listening to this series, I hope you've started one too.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_01: Because every win you record builds your confidence, and confidence builds momentum.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_01: You can't always see growth in real time, but it's happening underneath the surface.
• 3:26
SPEAKER_01: Number three, we talked all about the little habits that build big faith.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_01: And that one got personal for me.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_01: I've had seasons where my faith felt fractured, where I believed in God, but I didn't feel Him.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_01: But it was the small habits, the five-minute prayers, the one verse a day, the gratitude before bed that brought my heart back into a rhythm.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_01: And let me just say also, worship music does it for me every time.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_01: Nothing makes me weep harder than a good worship song.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_01: I don't need fireworks to know God's near, and nor do you.
• 4:09
SPEAKER_01: We just need faithfulness, our willingness to keep showing up even when it's quiet.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_01: Because God meets you and I where we are, not where we think we should be.
• 4:23
SPEAKER_01: And if this series has reminded you of anything, I hope it's that he's still right here coaching you through every single comeback.
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_01: Number four.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_01: And finally, we closed up with the little things that rebuild our identity.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_01: And that's where everything starts to click.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_01: I realized that I'm not who I was five years ago.
• 4:50
  SPEAKER_01: And that's not a loss, it's it's actually a win.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_01: Identity isn't something we find once we keep forever, it's something we rebuild every time life changes.
• 5:03
SPEAKER_01: Each small act of courage, each boundary you set, each new thing you try, it's all shaping who you're becoming.
• 5:13
SPEAKER_01: You don't have to rush to figure it all out.
• 5:16
SPEAKER_01: You just have to live one aligned day at a time because the new you is being built in real time.
• 5:23
  SPEAKER_01: Don't you dare quit in mid-construction.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_01: And number five, here's what I've noticed in my own life after walking through this series with you.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_01: I have slowed down, I've become more intentional with the people that I care about and what I do in my downtime.
• 5:45
SPEAKER_01: I've stopped waiting for the big moment and started noticing the small holy ones, the conversations that happen in the hallway at work, the laughter that breaks all the tension, the quiet mornings on a patio that just start with gratitude.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_01: Those are the moments I used to overlook.
• 6:09
SPEAKER_01: And sometimes in the busyness of my life, I still tend to overlook.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_01: So this series has really helped me recalibrate just who I am and finding my rhythm.
• 6:20
SPEAKER_01: But now I see them for what they are.
• 6:22
SPEAKER_01: There are moments and evidence that I'm still becoming who God wants me to be.
• 6:28
SPEAKER_01: If I could sit across from you right now, I tell you this.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_01: You don't need to chase the grand comeback.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_01: You just need to be faithful with the small one thing happening today.
• 6:42
SPEAKER_01: Before we close this series, I want to leave you with one last challenge.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_01: This week, write a short letter to yourself titled, What's Changing in Me?
• 6:53
SPEAKER_01: And reflect on these four questions.
• 6:56
SPEAKER_01: What little things have made the biggest difference?
• 7:00
SPEAKER_01: What small wins am I most proud of?
• 7:04
SPEAKER_01: And what faith habit is helping me stay grounded?
• 7:08
SPEAKER_01: And the last one, who am I becoming through this transition?
• 7:13
SPEAKER_01: Then read that letter out loud because that is your personal halftime speech.
• 7:20
SPEAKER_01: A reminder that even if the scoreboard doesn't show it yet, the comeback is in the making.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_01: If this were the locker room and I were your coach, I'd tell you this you've got everything you need to finish strong.
• 7:36
SPEAKER_01: The world may not see the work you're doing in private, but that's where champions are made.
• 7:42
SPEAKER_01: Every quiet act of courage, every whispered prayer, every faithful step, it all matters.
• 7:48
SPEAKER_01: The little things are the big things.
• 7:51
SPEAKER_01: And if you keep showing up for them, they'll carry you all the way into your next season.
• 7:57
SPEAKER_01: You're not starting from scratch, you're starting from experience, and experience builds wisdom, and wisdom builds comebacks.
• 8:07
SPEAKER_01: If this series has spoken to you, I'd love for you to share it with someone who's in their own season of rebuilding.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_01: Because sometimes the best gift we can give is a reminder that we're not alone.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_01: Until next time, remember this your comeback doesn't start in the spotlight, it starts in the small, quiet moments where you decide to believe again.
• 8:31
SPEAKER_01: So keep believing, keep building, and keep showing up because the little things they really do matter.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_01: I'll see you next time.
• 8:43
  SPEAKER_01: Hey, thanks for listening.
• 8:45
SPEAKER_01: I don't take it for granted that you're here.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_01: You didn't listen by mistake.
• 8:49
SPEAKER_01: If you want to reach out, you can DM me on Instagram at Tony Thrash.
• 8:54
SPEAKER_01: Until next week, remember there's still time left on the clock.
• 8:58
SPEAKER_01: Let's get you off the bench to start your comeback.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_01: I want to give a special shout out to Country Club for the original music.
