- 1:05Speaker 2: Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 1:09Speaker 1: Good morning?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Mark?
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yes, Mike, I'm calling you from the roads of Florida.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And it's relative to tiger being stolen on oxy. He's
- 1:19Speaker 1: probably at that point he was probably more sob than
- 1:21Speaker 1: eighty five percent of the people on the roads down here. Really,
- 1:25Speaker 1: it's appalling.
- 1:25Speaker 4: It's yeah, Mark, I go to a place for lunch
- 1:28Speaker 4: a couple of times a week, so relatively upscale sports bar.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I sit there, I eat my my, my chicken tenders,
- 1:34Speaker 4: and I do across my puzzle. I'm appalled, and I'm
- 1:38Speaker 4: not saying this from a prudish point of view. What
- 1:39Speaker 4: people drink at lunchtime. It's noon and people are drinking,
- 1:43Speaker 4: you know, giant beers, shots.
- 1:46Speaker 3: It's unbelievable.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And then there getting in cars and driving me. You
- 1:49Speaker 1: know the people.
- 1:52Speaker 2: You people moved down to Florida, Oh, the sun, the
- 1:54Speaker 2: palm tree. They got nothing to do all day except drinking.
- 1:57Speaker 2: You get drunk and there's nowhere to go, nothing to do.
- 2:00Speaker 1: All they do is drink all day.
- 2:02Speaker 4: You go to the supermarket and some old lady he's
- 2:05Speaker 4: got fourteen cases of wine in the in the in
- 2:08Speaker 4: the cart, and you know, three cases of beer. That's
- 2:10Speaker 4: all you do. They drink and they cold cuts, you know,
- 2:13Speaker 4: from the free sample counter at the exams club.
- 2:17Speaker 2: All right, well, thanks for calling you. I got nothing
- 2:18Speaker 2: to do all day down there. I mean, the all
- 2:20Speaker 2: you do is get up, go to you know, bang
- 2:23Speaker 2: on the Starbucks store at five forty five am, figure
- 2:27Speaker 2: out where you're gonna have lunch. Then try to figure
- 2:28Speaker 2: out where you're gonna have dinner. That's it down there.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Let's go to Bill and the Upper east Side. Bill,
- 2:32Speaker 2: how you doing, Hey, Mark, good morning.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Department of Energy established by Carter in nineteen fifty nine
- 2:41Speaker 5: for the purpose of getting us off Sorry, yeah, I'm
- 2:46Speaker 5: forgetting us off dependency on foreign oil.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Well it's the pass under Trump, here we are, we're
- 2:55Speaker 5: at supporting this stuff. So why do we need a
- 2:58Speaker 5: Department of Energy anymore?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Well, you really don't. It's like the Department of Education,
- 3:02Speaker 2: which did absolutely nothing. In fact, since its creation, education
- 3:05Speaker 2: numbers have plummeted. It's been a lot worse. Department of
- 3:09Speaker 2: Energy got nothing. You know, for decades, every politician, Republicans, Democrats,
- 3:14Speaker 2: whenever they ran, part of the campaign speech was all
- 3:17Speaker 2: and their dependence on foreign oil. Nobody ever did it
- 3:20Speaker 2: until Trump. He actually did it. It's one reason Democrats
- 3:23Speaker 2: are so upset. That was a big campaign promise he
- 3:25Speaker 2: took away. Now they can't promise it anymore. Let's go
- 3:28Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 3:30Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning matter Mark. Forty
- 3:34Speaker 6: years ago, Ronald Reagan fried to abolish the Department of Energy,
- 3:39Speaker 6: but guess what, the Republicans of his own party blocked him. Mark.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Donald Trump is right and tried to end his birthright
- 3:48Speaker 6: citizenship scam. That is pregnancy tourism group. There are groups
- 3:55Speaker 6: abroad that you contact these groups. You got to pay money,
- 3:58Speaker 6: of course, and they'll fly you here when a couple
- 4:02Speaker 6: of weeks before you're gonna break your water and go
- 4:05Speaker 6: into labor. And there were these hotels, motels all around
- 4:09Speaker 6: Kennedy Airport where they hold these women up until they
- 4:14Speaker 6: give birth and then the rest is history. They have
- 4:18Speaker 6: they submit citizenship for their kids. Ronald Reagan should have
- 4:26Speaker 6: dig what Donald Trump is doing now. Forty or six
- 4:30Speaker 6: years ago.
- 4:30Speaker 2: You can't get everything done. But you got a great,
- 4:32Speaker 2: great point, Vincent, good call, Thanks for calling. Yet Trump
- 4:35Speaker 2: has a good good shot at winning this case today. Hey,
- 4:38Speaker 2: when we come back to brilliant John Carney, what's gonna
- 4:41Speaker 2: happen with the economy, What's gonna happen with stocks. What's
- 4:43Speaker 2: gonna happen with loyal prices. We'll get to that next
- 4:46Speaker 2: on seven to ten WR
