Reds Reinforce Pitching for Doubleheader | Cincinnati Reds News
The Reds are firing up for a doubleheader against the Cardinals with key pitching moves: veteran lefty Kent Emanuel, who finally debuted at 28 and pitched brilliantly in his MLB debut, is called up from Triple-A. They also bring in right-hander Zach McCambley from Miami — who’s been electric against lefties in the majors despite past struggles — while sending Ron Marinaccio to make room. With a 59-64 record and a recent loss to Miami, these moves aim to strengthen their rotation for a critical stretch.
