For the first time in 30 years, the U.S. Alien Terrorist Removal Court convened for its historic first hearing, where the government sought to deport a noncitizen suspected of terrorism—but the judge paused, demanding more classified evidence before making a ruling. Set up in 1996 to handle terrorism-related removals while safeguarding national security, this court has never before seen an actual filing. Judge Joan N.
