- 0:28Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:32Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley. I'm Dan
- 0:37Speaker 1: O'Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Tuesday,
- 0:41Speaker 1: August twelfth, twenty twenty five. Mississippi is burning with STDs,
- 0:50Speaker 1: not the not the other kind of burning that we're
- 0:53Speaker 1: used to, although maybe you might be used to it otherwise.
- 1:00Speaker 1: In an alarming case of STDs are burning up the
- 1:06Speaker 1: state of Mississippi. Or has TMZ put it beautifully, Mississippi's
- 1:11Speaker 1: going through a bumpy time lately. Mississippi, already struggling with
- 1:21Speaker 1: sky high rates of gonorrhea, chlamydia, and HIV, has just
- 1:25Speaker 1: dropped a jaw dropping stat roughly twelve hundred cases per
- 1:29Speaker 1: one hundred thousand people. To put that into perspective, that's
- 1:33Speaker 1: at least one person in a room of one hundred
- 1:35Speaker 1: Mississippians walking around with an STD or infection. HM. So
- 1:42Speaker 1: keep that in mind if you're cruis into Mississippi for
- 1:48Speaker 1: some strange I don't know, it's just it's something to
- 1:50Speaker 1: be aware. I mean, it's bad enough to have like
- 1:52Speaker 1: a really poor literacy rate, but then also the STD.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I mean, the state's really in trouble there. I think
- 1:59Speaker 1: they can go hand in hand intended Well, yeah, because
- 2:03Speaker 1: if you can't read, you're probably not going to read
- 2:05Speaker 1: too many STD pamphlets.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you're probably not using condoms.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Whether but literacy rate aside, this is one of those
- 2:20Speaker 1: things that still, for lack of a better term, pops
- 2:23Speaker 1: up on occasion, and I'm always surprised by it. It's like,
- 2:25Speaker 1: we keep having these cyclical rising of STD rates in
- 2:30Speaker 1: various places, and it's like, what, at a certain point
- 2:35Speaker 1: you just rip everything off and just go at it
- 2:37Speaker 1: till everyone carries everything and it doesn't matter anymore, because
- 2:40Speaker 1: that's kind of the route we seem to be taking.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I still think it goes back to when we were
- 2:53Speaker 3: like going through puberty and our teams everything else. AIDS
- 2:56Speaker 3: was new and it was a big deal, and condoms
- 2:58Speaker 3: were you know, absolutely you heard nothing but use condoms.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Use condoms. I mean not to means not getting someone pregnant.
- 3:05Speaker 3: But they've now basically they have a cured AIDS. But
- 3:10Speaker 3: it's not lethal like it used to be. I mean,
- 3:14Speaker 3: it is something is manageable you can live with. I mean,
- 3:16Speaker 3: basically it stays with at HIV and really doesn't seem
- 3:19Speaker 3: to develop. They've able to suppress it before it develops
- 3:22Speaker 3: into AIDS and magic.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Johnson has been the embodiment of that and honestly and
- 3:29Speaker 1: honestly one of the few people on this planet that
- 3:32Speaker 1: has earned his nickname for two different reasons.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Well, probably money and access to y know, European research.
- 3:43Speaker 3: But I really do think it's I'm not even blaming
- 3:48Speaker 3: gen Z for this, It's not their fault. But for
- 3:51Speaker 3: the most part, they look at everything it's curable, like
- 3:57Speaker 3: there's nothing. We grew up with the notion that if
- 4:00Speaker 3: you know, you could die. H Yeah, and they don't
- 4:05Speaker 3: have that, you know anymore.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That's true. That's an excellent point that that additional layer
- 4:11Speaker 1: of fear probably plays a huge part in this. I mean,
- 4:17Speaker 1: maybe what go ahead.
- 4:19Speaker 3: That's why I always understood nursing home rates from going
- 4:24Speaker 3: through the roof. They don't care if they die.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. It already burns when they pee, so
- 4:32Speaker 1: you know, I mean their idea of four players are
- 4:38Speaker 1: moving the catheter so I mean and the teeth well hot,
- 4:46Speaker 1: uh but yeah, I mean you're right, man. Without that
- 4:52Speaker 1: fear factor that that probably does play a massive part.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And part of the thing I've always thought about with
- 4:57Speaker 1: STD stuff is what you have to do for the
- 5:02Speaker 1: test to find out that you've got one, and then
- 5:06Speaker 1: whatever the I guess remedy is because I've always heard,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you know, from my dad and older friends about how
- 5:16Speaker 1: certain STD tests are not very pleasant because they'll basically
- 5:19Speaker 1: take a Q tip and swab swab and swab on
- 5:23Speaker 1: a man a place that you're not used to having
- 5:26Speaker 1: things go in right, and just hearing that and thinking
- 5:32Speaker 1: about what type of pain, discomfort, awkward moments as you
- 5:39Speaker 1: look down at whoever is administering that test and be like, okay,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I'm ready that right, there would probably be a good
- 5:47Speaker 1: detern Put that in the pamphlet.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, Also the burning pea and the oozing that should
- 5:54Speaker 2: also be in the pamphlet as well. The oozing, yeah.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Or like like that. Flight. I had a few weeks
- 6:01Speaker 1: back where the lady was perusing the Dermatology Journal and
- 6:06Speaker 1: she was looking at she was looking at the Wiener sores,
- 6:10Speaker 1: telling you you're right, Trey, it's the fear part. I mean,
- 6:13Speaker 1: granted you may not die from it, but you're gonna
- 6:15Speaker 1: end up in one of these journals and I'm going
- 6:17Speaker 1: to see it on a plane from the big front
- 6:19Speaker 1: seat on Spirit Airlines and that's not part of the package.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I paid for it.
- 6:25Speaker 2: But there's also somebody that's sleeping with these people that
- 6:29Speaker 2: sees all the sees the same things. They see the oozing,
- 6:32Speaker 2: they see the sores, and they're like, still want that.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Oh man, that's I don't know. That's that's an interesting question.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I mean, I've known, I do know people in the
- 6:46Speaker 1: medical field, but they don't they don't work within that specialty.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But it does beg the question. I mean, if that's
- 6:55Speaker 1: your day job, is that what you want to be
- 6:57Speaker 1: faced with at nighttime too? Or maybe you're just relieved
- 7:02Speaker 1: it's a clean one, kind of like a dentist.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Something they're being faced with it. That's the problem.

- 10:13Speaker 1: a big green egg from Cook DFW roofing and restoration
- 10:16Speaker 1: not too shabby as it is. Just a little bit
- 10:21Speaker 1: more on Mississippi's STD problem, and then I'm going to
- 10:25Speaker 1: find an awkward segue into something more delightful, So so
- 10:29Speaker 1: brace yourselves for that. Okay. According to this report about
- 10:33Speaker 1: the astounding STD rates in Mississippi, congenital syphilis is spiraling
- 10:43Speaker 1: so wildly out of control in Mississippi that it's officially
- 10:46Speaker 1: been declared an epidemic, an epidemic by the CDC. Also,
- 10:52Speaker 1: it's not just that mississippis also ranked third for a
- 10:57Speaker 1: primary and secondary syphilis, something I didn't even know was
- 11:01Speaker 1: a thing. I didn't know there was a one and
- 11:03Speaker 1: the two one syphilis. But here we are also fifth
- 11:06Speaker 1: for gone rhea and second for chlamydia. So really just
- 11:12Speaker 1: just sweeping the metal stand. They're a good job, Mississippi.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I mean, if you're gonna if you're gonna be bad,
- 11:20Speaker 1: you might as well be the best bad.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, I mean I don't I don't know how
- 11:25Speaker 2: that happens. I don't know how. The people are just
- 11:30Speaker 2: continuously having sex with people that have STDs over and
- 11:33Speaker 2: over and over again, is what the the issue is.
- 11:36Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean if it's congenital, that means there
- 11:40Speaker 3: are women who have untreated syphilis giving birth, which, yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 3: I feel like maybe maybe the doctors Misissippi do need
- 11:51Speaker 3: to take a one eyed approach and now inspecting its
- 11:53Speaker 3: a little better.
- 11:58Speaker 1: The world's worst kind of collu the Journal of Mississippi Medicine.
- 12:05Speaker 1: We could do better. I think that's the state motto,
- 12:11Speaker 1: free monocles for they're not bond villains. Mississippi may not
- 12:21Speaker 1: have the funding for actual, you know, microscopes. You just
- 12:30Speaker 1: gotta if you're If you go to Mississippi for an
- 12:32Speaker 1: STD test and the doctor walks in dressed like the
- 12:34Speaker 1: monopoly man, you gonna find out.
- 12:41Speaker 2: All these doctors are just PhDs. They're not even doctors.
- 12:48Speaker 1: All right, here's the awkward segue. Uh, how's your puppy doing?
- 12:53Speaker 1: She's doing good, she's right here, she's right here. Little grays?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Have you not little anymore? Oh? Really?
- 13:01Speaker 7: How?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Uh? What what kind of dog is she?
- 13:03Speaker 7: Again?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Pitbull? Lab? Oh? Yeah, yeah, she she ain't staying small
- 13:07Speaker 1: for long. So have you officially decided to keep her
- 13:10Speaker 1: yet or are you going to still just foster and
- 13:13Speaker 1: see have paused in the city, can find a.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Home for No, we're gonna we're gonna keep her. Oh
- 13:17Speaker 2: that's yeah, we're gonna keep you there she is. Yep,
- 13:22Speaker 2: we're gonna keep her.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Well, congratulations on on the new dog. Thank you. I'm
- 13:28Speaker 1: wondering since you are single as Trey is, and I
- 13:34Speaker 1: recommended to Trey the other day that when he goes
- 13:37Speaker 1: to his Dity Trail event on Thursday, that he brings Daisy,
- 13:40Speaker 1: his three pound HuaHua, and just put her in a
- 13:43Speaker 1: little pat poots on his chest and then that way
- 13:45Speaker 1: he can break in all the phone numbers. M hm,
- 13:48Speaker 1: maybe you take Grayson go with him. Uh she h.
- 13:53Speaker 2: She stops traffic. She's she's really good, but she's very jealous.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I've never had a girl dog. I've always had boy dogs,
- 14:00Speaker 2: and she gets super jealous. So this lady stopped the
- 14:02Speaker 2: other day and smoke show of a lady stopped and
- 14:06Speaker 2: got out of her car and she's like, that is
- 14:08Speaker 2: the sweetest. She got in between me and that lady
- 14:11Speaker 2: and just sat there and wouldn't let that. I'm a hugger,
- 14:15Speaker 2: and I was like, thank you so much, and I
- 14:17Speaker 2: wanted to give a hug and Grace was like, Nope,
- 14:19Speaker 2: absolutely not, and go and kind of pushed her back
- 14:22Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Okay, you're gonna have to train that out of her,
- 14:25Speaker 1: because she's got learned that that daddy's got needs and
- 14:29Speaker 1: if anything, she should be assisting in those needs departments.
- 14:33Speaker 2: When she was I mean a couple of weeks ago,
- 14:35Speaker 2: when she was a little bitty she she did she
- 14:38Speaker 2: helped out in that. She was very sweet with the ladies.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Now it's a very it's a very jealous thing. And
- 14:43Speaker 2: I didn't know if that's just a girl dog thing.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I've never had a girl dog.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Now, you want a panty dropper, not a sea blocker.
- 14:54Speaker 1: That's just good life advice. Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody loves her, but she just when it comes
- 15:02Speaker 2: to the ladies, she's like, nope, this is my dude.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Yeah you got to fix that. Yeah, sure, for sure
- 15:07Speaker 1: she's doing it now. I mean because Trade just dropped
- 15:10Speaker 1: a knowledge bomb on all of us, and you need
- 15:12Speaker 1: to embrace it. Yeah, you need to ride that. You
- 15:16Speaker 1: need to ride that knowledge bomb. Like slim pickens like,
- 15:21Speaker 1: we'll find you a place to get some training for
- 15:23Speaker 1: the dog or something. So that way, if nothing else,
- 15:27Speaker 1: the dog knows to help you in the romance department,
- 15:30Speaker 1: not hurt you and also not too t under rut.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Oh maybe she's like, you know this isn't the right lady.
- 15:37Speaker 1: She could have that. You know that little insight.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I mean, Roger, what you need to do is carry
- 15:44Speaker 3: around treats and when boobs approach, give her a treat.
- 15:52Speaker 1: The boobs or the dog. You're pick yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Both Treehouse listen us online a Treehouse on air dot com.
- 16:18Speaker 6: You're in the.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Listen us online a Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 16:26Speaker 1: It is proven that the Treehouse Show makes everything better.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So make things better for friends and family by sharing
- 16:33Speaker 1: this show with them. Go on social media and you
- 16:38Speaker 1: can say something as simple as I listen and laugh
- 16:40Speaker 1: to the Treehouse Show. Give us a tag in that
- 16:43Speaker 1: and share it with all your folks so they too
- 16:45Speaker 1: can listen and laugh here inside the treehouse just like
- 16:48Speaker 1: you do. All right. This story is truly disturbing on many, many, many,
- 16:56Speaker 1: many levels. A Texas man was arrested after wearing only
- 17:00Speaker 1: a diaper and saying Googo gaga at little girls. What Yeah?
- 17:08Speaker 1: A man from white House, Texas is accused of approaching
- 17:12Speaker 1: two young girls near an East Texas school while wearing
- 17:14Speaker 1: a diaper and yelling, googo gaga, I need a diaper change.
- 17:18Speaker 1: That's according to the police report. He's forty five. His
- 17:22Speaker 1: name is Wesley Worrel and he was booked into the
- 17:24Speaker 1: Smith County Jail last Thursday on charges of solicitation of
- 17:28Speaker 1: a minor and criminal trespass. Wow. That's right, outside of
- 17:34Speaker 1: Tyler there were white houses. Yeah, yep, yep. This is
- 17:38Speaker 1: not his first run in with the law. He has
- 17:40Speaker 1: a little bit of a history of acting like this,
- 17:45Speaker 1: and it is interesting because it says the type of behavior,
- 17:48Speaker 1: this type of hate Jesus, This type of behavior for
- 17:53Speaker 1: him dates back to nineteen ninety nine. Over the years,
- 17:56Speaker 1: he's committed similar acts including publican decency where a diaper
- 18:00Speaker 1: in public, and stalking his ex girlfriend. This guy's a
- 18:03Speaker 1: real winner. He was once prohibited from visiting any parks
- 18:07Speaker 1: within the city of Tyler. Wow. And police say he
- 18:12Speaker 1: does have, in case you couldn't figure it out, a
- 18:14Speaker 1: fetish of wearing a diaper and has been known to
- 18:18Speaker 1: do this obviously for a long time since he's been arrested.
- 18:22Speaker 1: He was later booked into the Smith County Jail on
- 18:24Speaker 1: bonds totaling six hundred thousand dollars.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Nice, that's a lot of that's a lot of pampers,
- 18:35Speaker 2: it's a lot of formula. But when they arrested him,
- 18:39Speaker 2: was he still just in the diaper? So that's how
- 18:41Speaker 2: he had to go to jail.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I don't I don't know, because in his mugshot he's
- 18:48Speaker 1: just you know, he's just wearing a T shirt, which
- 18:52Speaker 1: is while keeping in mind, this is a horrible thing, right,
- 18:58Speaker 1: should not be doing this. It's very bad, yes, But
- 19:04Speaker 1: the only thing missing from his mugshot, You're right, Raj,
- 19:07Speaker 1: would be if he was actually still wearing the baby
- 19:09Speaker 1: bonnet and maybe a little passy.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Maybe they just gave him the teeth like from the
- 19:16Speaker 2: Lost and Found, gave him a T shirt for the mugshot.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Honestly, they may have. They may have taken it off
- 19:21Speaker 1: because maybe they have to do that because since it'll
- 19:26Speaker 1: possibly be entered in as court evidence, they can't have
- 19:29Speaker 1: him wearing you know, the bonditt Oh oh yeah, look
- 19:32Speaker 1: at that face. Yeah, Oh my lord, I mean who
- 19:37Speaker 1: wouldn't want to hold that cuddly baby. I mean forty
- 19:43Speaker 1: five year old man with big baby ears and a
- 19:46Speaker 1: big bald baby head and a Honestly, he looks like
- 19:49Speaker 1: a grumpy baby, probably because they took his passy.
- 19:54Speaker 3: It looks like Elmer fuzz in bred cousin.
- 20:01Speaker 2: That's a lot of four or a five head. I
- 20:04Speaker 2: don't know what you call.
- 20:04Speaker 1: It, but that's a lot trey. I think you nailed that.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Really does look like Elmer Fudd's in bred cousin, the
- 20:13Speaker 1: one that Elmer doesn't even like to see on holidays,
- 20:16Speaker 1: Like you're the embarrassment of the family. Elmer hates that
- 20:21Speaker 1: you're a fud. It's it's a diaper season. I'm officially
- 20:27Speaker 1: changing his name to Fudd. H Wesley Fudd, forty five,
- 20:33Speaker 1: booked into the Smith County jail for dressing like a
- 20:35Speaker 1: baby and saying go ga ga that children there we
- 20:39Speaker 1: go now it's official.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And he needed a diaper change. So is he living
- 20:45Speaker 2: up to the park? Does he go in the diaper?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Dude? Those are questions. Those are questions I do not
- 20:54Speaker 1: have the answers to.
- 20:55Speaker 2: You know, we gotta we gotta keep track of the
- 20:57Speaker 2: story and see where it goes.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I know where it's going. It's going to prison.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Yeah, at least you know he's going to have an
- 21:05Speaker 3: unlimited supply of pacifiers moving forward.

- 22:12Speaker 1: also known as adult baby is a form of age
- 22:15Speaker 1: play that involves role playing a regression to an infant
- 22:19Speaker 1: like state. So that's what Wesley Fud, who was just
- 22:24Speaker 1: a risk who was just arrested last week outside of
- 22:27Speaker 1: Tyler going around dressed as a baby saying Goo Goo
- 22:31Speaker 1: gaga at kids, was arrested for it. So yeah, Trey,
- 22:35Speaker 1: that's the official name for it. I believe paraphilic infantilism.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, there was that show Taboo, and I saw one
- 22:42Speaker 2: of those episodes where it was a young lady and
- 22:45Speaker 2: that's her thing. She fully functional, like, has a day job,
- 22:48Speaker 2: does her thing, comes home and she has a crib,
- 22:51Speaker 2: she has, you know, her stuffed animals and all that stuff.
- 22:55Speaker 2: That's just what she does when she gets home.
- 22:59Speaker 1: If you know, mister Rogers put on his cardigan and slippers.
- 23:03Speaker 2: She puts on a onesie. H And what happens, like
- 23:08Speaker 2: this is how my brain works. What happens like you
- 23:10Speaker 2: meet a girl, right, you're out meet a girl, the
- 23:13Speaker 2: date goes really well, you know, you're outside, she's like, hey,
- 23:16Speaker 2: do you want to come in? You go in and
- 23:17Speaker 2: there's a full it's just a crib and a and stuff.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Then like, what do you do? Well, here's the thing,
- 23:24Speaker 1: because if you're a guy, you're probably terrified that she
- 23:27Speaker 1: didn't tell you she's got a kid. But what you
- 23:30Speaker 1: don't realize is it's about to get worse.
- 23:35Speaker 3: It's one of the few times she's gonna call you
- 23:38Speaker 3: daddy and you run.
- 23:44Speaker 1: That's how hot anymore? Is it? Because she needs to
- 23:48Speaker 1: be changed? Yep? And she might she might want to
- 23:54Speaker 1: go to college someday they get that point in the date,
- 24:03Speaker 1: you really can you start you start wondering how far
- 24:05Speaker 1: away is the closest fire station you're gonna drop her off?
- 24:12Speaker 1: We don't want this. What's that is that they take her? Well,
- 24:18Speaker 1: they might be like, all right, it is Tuesday inside
- 24:23Speaker 1: the treehouse. That means it is time for treehouse talkbacks.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Here we go treehouse talkback for today. We start with Haley.
- 24:32Speaker 8: Hey, guys, it's Haley throw back to the fighter jets
- 24:36Speaker 8: that had bathrooms and snacks.
- 24:38Speaker 1: They really need to go to bucket sponsorship for those guys.
- 24:41Speaker 9: Talk to you later. Have a great one.
- 24:43Speaker 1: It's an excellent point. I mean, that's that's a few
- 24:45Speaker 1: weeks back we were talking about the Iran bombing and
- 24:48Speaker 1: all the cool snacks they had on board to B
- 24:50Speaker 1: fifty two's, including coolers and a microwave. That makes sense.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I mean, the government right now is really big into
- 24:56Speaker 1: you know, non traditional revenue. So why not do a
- 25:01Speaker 1: little Bucky sponsorship for the air Force Because on some
- 25:03Speaker 1: of those long haul flights it makes sense.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Just just dropping beaver nuggets.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I would pay money if they took a picture in
- 25:13Speaker 3: one of the fighter pilots, you know of the B
- 25:16Speaker 3: fifty two pilots that they're both in like BUCkies gear. Yeah,
- 25:20Speaker 3: as they're dropping the bomb.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Beaver one, Beaver two. And then on top
- 25:25Speaker 1: of that, when the refueling plane shows up, obviously that's
- 25:28Speaker 1: got the BUCkies branding on it, and it drops down,
- 25:30Speaker 1: you get the good BUCkies gas, and then BUCkies can
- 25:33Speaker 1: install a really nice bathroom inside those BE fifty twos.
- 25:38Speaker 2: You also get one Bucket's attendant that comes with it,
- 25:41Speaker 2: so he just cleans the bathroom every now and again.
- 25:43Speaker 1: It's nice, but he has classified clearance because he has to.
- 25:47Speaker 1: As they're eating a brisket sandwich. That'd be a great
- 25:53Speaker 1: job man, that'd be the BUCkies B fifty two bathroom attended.
- 25:57Speaker 2: I'll make this Indian guy want to enlist.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Thank you, Hayley. It's a great idea. Oh I forgot
- 26:06Speaker 1: she had the ending. Yeah, calculator, have a great one.
- 26:12Speaker 10: Uh Hey, guys, it's Diego that's got done. Listening to
- 26:19Speaker 10: your August fifth episode and y'all talked about what would
- 26:24Speaker 10: y'all do Either have West Martin kim over and haunt
- 26:27Speaker 10: y'all or watch Dan's movies, just wondering, who do you
- 26:34Speaker 10: all have.
- 26:36Speaker 1: To come back and haunt y'all in a good way?
- 26:39Speaker 1: That's out of curiosity. Thanks, all right, who would you
- 26:43Speaker 1: want to have come back to haunt you, haunt me
- 26:47Speaker 1: or visit It's the same thing, really, because he said
- 26:52Speaker 1: haunt in a good way, So really, I mean it's Oh,
- 26:54Speaker 1: I would, I would my parents? Yeah, yeah, I'm going
- 26:58Speaker 1: with my dad.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be nice just to sit and chat
- 27:02Speaker 2: see what they have to say.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That's good.
- 27:03Speaker 2: What's on the other side, So what you've been doing?
- 27:10Speaker 2: Is there Indian food?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Like? Yeah, how's the buffet in heaven?
- 27:18Speaker 2: That's the thing that's all My dad ate was Taco
- 27:20Speaker 2: bell or Indian food, So I hope there's one of
- 27:23Speaker 2: those on the other side.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Otherwise that man is gonna be very hungry. That's where
- 27:28Speaker 1: I've always liked, because you know, Heaven has been portrayed
- 27:31Speaker 1: in a few different forms in film and television throughout
- 27:35Speaker 1: our history, and one of my favorites has always been
- 27:38Speaker 1: in the Robin Williams movie What Dreams May Come? Oh yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 1: And part of that is there's a central heaven that's
- 27:44Speaker 1: sort of the heaven everyone knows it's renaissancey looking, and
- 27:47Speaker 1: that's sort of the central heaven. And then there's also
- 27:49Speaker 1: like your little corner of heaven that is yours, and
- 27:53Speaker 1: it's what makes you happy for eternity kind of thing.
- 27:55Speaker 1: That's that's what I hope heaven it's like, because then, Raj,
- 27:58Speaker 1: that little slice of heaven for a year, Dad really
- 28:00Speaker 1: would be full of taco bell and Indian food.
- 28:04Speaker 2: That would be awesome. I would go, I'd be there
- 28:07Speaker 2: every day.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And mine, I think only second to my dad would
- 28:13Speaker 1: be all of my pets.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, yeah, that's a good one.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, next time.
- 28:22Speaker 9: Hey, it's Joel. I was in the grocery store the
- 28:26Speaker 9: other day and I bumped into Jerry, went up to
- 28:30Speaker 9: him and introduced myself and said, Hi, I'm a fan
- 28:35Speaker 9: of the podcast and everything, and I noticed he had
- 28:39Speaker 9: an armful of groceries. And I'm just wondering, is it
- 28:45Speaker 9: anytime you've been in the grocery store without a basket
- 28:49Speaker 9: or cart that you didn't end up with an armful
- 28:55Speaker 9: of groceries? Because I'm like thinking, every time, did I
- 29:02Speaker 9: don't get a card a basket? I end up the
- 29:07Speaker 9: same way.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Thank you, Joel, I don't really have anything further to
- 29:22Speaker 1: add on on Jeel's situation. It's it's un Yeah, yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 1: but I'm always I've always had a basket. Uh, then
- 29:31Speaker 1: I use it. Yes, good luck, Joel. We're pulling for you.
- 29:38Speaker 8: Hey, guys, Uh, this is Craig from Lewisville a long time,
- 29:43Speaker 8: first time. On Wednesday last week you talked about the
- 29:47Speaker 8: guy in Romania who stopped to feed a bear.
- 29:51Speaker 10: Uh.
- 29:51Speaker 8: First off, are they still giving out Darwin Awards? Not
- 29:55Speaker 8: only is this a candidate, this has to be a winner?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Greg, they still do the Darwin Awards every single year. Ye.
- 30:04Speaker 8: And second off, I had man getting eaten by bear
- 30:08Speaker 8: on my Bengo card. The stupidity is implied.
- 30:12Speaker 9: Do I win this?
- 30:14Speaker 8: Do I get to call Bengo?
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yes, you do. And also for those that don't know,
- 30:23Speaker 1: with the man that got eaten by the bear in
- 30:24Speaker 1: Romania also made the noise right before it chomped down
- 30:28Speaker 1: on his face.
- 30:30Speaker 2: And for the d Awards, that would be that would
- 30:33Speaker 2: be in the Hall of fame, right.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think that's the first ballot hall
- 30:37Speaker 1: of Fame for Dartwin.
- 30:38Speaker 9: Word.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You're right, that's the Luke.

- 31:27Speaker 1: twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Model turned
- 31:36Speaker 1: actress Karen DeLavigne is thirty three today. She played Alice
- 31:40Speaker 1: Banks in Only Murders in the Building, also Enchantress in
- 31:44Speaker 1: the First In the first Suicide Squad movie, Casey Affleck,
- 31:50Speaker 1: Ben Affleck's little brother is fifty. What an oscar for
- 31:54Speaker 1: Manchester by the Sea, which is kind of think about it.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Gotta be some proud parents having a two kids both
- 32:00Speaker 1: having won an oscar. That's got to be a good feeling.
- 32:04Speaker 3: In Casey can stay out of rehabit looks like it's gonna.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Say the same thing. He does seem to have a
- 32:10Speaker 1: leg up on older brother Ben.
- 32:14Speaker 2: You don't have to marry Jennifer Lopez twice.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yvette Nicole Brown is fifty four. She played Shirley Bennett
- 32:21Speaker 1: on Community. She was also Helen on Drake and Josh.
- 32:25Speaker 1: She was also she had a small role in Avengers Endgame.
- 32:31Speaker 1: She was the one in the elevator with Iron Man
- 32:35Speaker 1: and Captain America when they're going back to the military
- 32:38Speaker 1: base to try to get one of the Infinity Stones.
- 32:41Speaker 1: She's the one that calls security on him because one
- 32:43Speaker 1: of them looked like a beat Nick. So she is
- 32:48Speaker 1: fifty four to a happy birthday to her tennis legend.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Pete Sampras is fifty four today. Not only did he
- 32:55Speaker 1: land numerous tennis titles, but he also landed Bridget Wilson,
- 33:00Speaker 1: who was the who was happy Gilmore, No, not happy Gilmore.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Billy Madison's teacher in Billy Madison, Gotcha Yeah. Peter Krauz
- 33:11Speaker 1: had turned sixty. He had a hell of a career
- 33:14Speaker 1: on television. He was Captain Nash on Nine to one one,
- 33:17Speaker 1: Nate Fisher on Six Feet Under All the Way Back Then,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and Adam Braverman on Parenthood and Trey and I will
- 33:25Speaker 1: remember him as one half of the anchors on the
- 33:29Speaker 1: short lived but spectacular show Sports Night. Love that show,
- 33:33Speaker 1: Gotta love that show.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'll always contend if Robert Gillon doesn't have
- 33:39Speaker 3: a stroke, that show probably makes it a few more seasons.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, true that and there was there was a huge,
- 33:47Speaker 1: huge contention between ABC and Aaron Sorkin, who was the writer, creator, director, director,
- 33:55Speaker 1: but the writer creator of that show. In addition to
- 33:57Speaker 1: west Wing and a few good men, he was the
- 34:00Speaker 1: creative force behind Sports Night. And when you go back,
- 34:03Speaker 1: if you if you've never gone back and watched Sports Night,
- 34:06Speaker 1: do it one because it's a really good show and
- 34:08Speaker 1: it's got a killer cast. Yeah. But it's interesting because
- 34:13Speaker 1: you can see the network at play, trying to take
- 34:16Speaker 1: control over certain things, because you can tell by the
- 34:21Speaker 1: laugh tracks and how unnatural it is. Like at one
- 34:23Speaker 1: point there is no laugh track, and then the network
- 34:27Speaker 1: thinks the show was too smart for people, so it
- 34:30Speaker 1: needs a laugh track. So the dumbs know how, no
- 34:33Speaker 1: whin to laugh the dumbs. That's my new thing. I
- 34:39Speaker 1: like it, the pores the dumbs, yea yeah, So and
- 34:46Speaker 1: then it's really unfortunate and then it kind of goes
- 34:48Speaker 1: back and forth. So it's like because of so it's
- 34:50Speaker 1: like the Robert Gillon thing, you're right, Tray. And also
- 34:53Speaker 1: it's sort of a masterclass and what not to do
- 34:56Speaker 1: when it comes to network meddling. Leave this man and
- 35:00Speaker 1: his crew alone. Let him cook, as they say. Yeah,
- 35:05Speaker 1: because right after Sports Night, after they killed sports Son,
- 35:08Speaker 1: he's like, all right, fine, then he did West Wing. Yeah,
- 35:12Speaker 1: I should have left him alone. ABC, NBC left him alone,
- 35:14Speaker 1: and look what happened. I know other birthdays today, sir,
- 35:20Speaker 1: mix a lot our o paser mix a lot is
- 35:22Speaker 1: sixty two today. Wow. Yeah, one of the not the first,
- 35:26Speaker 1: but one of the most notable guests to change his
- 35:29Speaker 1: phone number after Russ used it too many times.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I can't even he changed his phone number once a month,
- 35:39Speaker 3: he really did.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I mean, it's those big butts, that's the problem.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It really was. It was so hard to get a
- 35:47Speaker 1: hold of that man. Whenever we were trying to get
- 35:49Speaker 1: him on the show. Oh, voicemail was always full.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Yeah, wasn't he the one?
- 35:56Speaker 1: He was?
- 35:56Speaker 3: Also, he wouldn't fly if I remember that correctly?
- 35:59Speaker 1: Correct? Yeah, yeah, because we tried to get him in
- 36:02Speaker 1: town for a white trash party and he's like, I
- 36:05Speaker 1: don't fly, and I don't think anyone wanted to go
- 36:08Speaker 1: get him because he lived in Seattle.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so does like the trains and buses. Wow, okay,
- 36:18Speaker 2: that'll kill a career.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I mean, I mean look, I mean even as a producer,
- 36:23Speaker 1: I think for the most part, people had to go
- 36:24Speaker 1: to him.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Oh wow, interesting, I didn't know that. That's a cool
- 36:30Speaker 2: little fun fact.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Yeah, this Treehouse is full of things like that, of course,
- 36:37Speaker 1: fun facts.

- 38:02Speaker 11: I want to know if it counts as waffle stomping.
- 38:08Speaker 11: It's that little piece of soap that you can't quite
- 38:14Speaker 11: merge into the new bar and make it one, so
- 38:17Speaker 11: it ends up in little pieces on the train if
- 38:20Speaker 11: you stop that down the train. It's just that.
- 38:27Speaker 1: No, I'm I'm more troubled about the fact that you
- 38:35Speaker 1: want credit for waffle stomping, Like I don't think. I
- 38:40Speaker 1: don't think you want to be confused with waffle stomping.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Purists still use.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Bar soaps that.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I use bar soap.
- 38:55Speaker 2: But she wants to make sure she's not a waffle stomper.
- 39:00Speaker 2: She's not trying to get credit. She's like, I'm not gross.
- 39:03Speaker 1: IM well, no, I think she it. To me, it
- 39:07Speaker 1: sounds like she wants credit for it because she's like,
- 39:10Speaker 1: does it count? Like to me, it's like, just you.
- 39:13Speaker 1: The the word she's using there makes it sound like
- 39:17Speaker 1: she's wanting the label as of waffle stomper.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Or maybe she told somebody that she waffles stomps and then.
- 39:24Speaker 1: And she's like, oh no, no, no, no, I mean soap,
- 39:26Speaker 1: And it's.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Like yeah, yeah, no, soap doesn't count.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Turns out we're all waffle stomping purists in the treehouse.
- 39:35Speaker 1: It's it's poop or poop or nothing.
- 39:43Speaker 7: Hey, guys, James here. Just heard y'all talking about the
- 39:49Speaker 7: Russ ghosts or movie date with Dan. I'll take Russ's
- 39:54Speaker 7: ghost and then, like an old.
- 39:56Speaker 12: School like what's his name? Important name, Jamie right, did
- 40:02Speaker 12: Spook leave and as it should be done?
- 40:14Speaker 1: And he drove off a cliff like tunes, which, by
- 40:26Speaker 1: the way, if I ever accidentally drive off a cliff,
- 40:29Speaker 1: you will know the last words of out of my
- 40:32Speaker 1: mouth will be ooh. You too could leave us a
