- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone show continues, Well, Howie Carr one of the
- 0:07Speaker 1: great talk show hosts in America. You should check out
- 0:10Speaker 1: his website, Howiecarrshow dot com. You can hear his show
- 0:13Speaker 1: on iHeart, or you can get his podcast there, or
- 0:16Speaker 1: you can get his book as columns. Everything the radio
- 0:19Speaker 1: show is at Howie carrsshow dot com. Howie Carr, how
- 0:23Speaker 1: you doing very good?
- 0:26Speaker 2: I'm doing I'm doing better than the staff of sixty minutes.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I guess after they get the dressing down from Barry Weiss.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I love that story, but she.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Asked the logical questions. She said to them, well, then
- 0:38Speaker 1: why does everybray think you so biased? It's a good.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Question, and right, yeah, right, And you know I love
- 0:44Speaker 2: the fact too that they say, you know, she has
- 0:47Speaker 2: no TV experience. Well, George Stephanopoulos, f Chuck Todd, you
- 0:55Speaker 2: know all of these people, I mean, did they did
- 0:58Speaker 2: any of them have any Jake Tapper, did any of
- 1:01Speaker 2: them have any experience? They were just you know, they
- 1:04Speaker 2: were just code holders on Capitol Hill for sleazy Democrats.
- 1:08Speaker 2: That's all the experience they needed. Now, now, now there's
- 1:11Speaker 2: sticklers for on the job training kind of come on,
- 1:16Speaker 2: who's kidding, who.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Do you remember sixty Minutes was the number one show
- 1:20Speaker 1: in television at sixty million viewers. Now it's like two
- 1:23Speaker 1: million maybe, and it's in right.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Well, they're still saying, they're still saying, you know, well
- 1:28Speaker 2: it's the number one news show on the networks. But
- 1:31Speaker 2: that tells you all you need to know, because, like
- 1:32Speaker 2: you say, there's nobody. Nobody's watching it, you know. Especially
- 1:36Speaker 2: the worst thing for sixty Minutes is if there's a
- 1:38Speaker 2: blowout in the late late CBS game on the NFL
- 1:42Speaker 2: and the fall, then they then they're probably in the
- 1:44Speaker 2: six figure territory, you know, they It's just it's really something.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm glad she's doing this. I really hope she's making
- 1:52Speaker 2: them jump. But now I guess they're going to start
- 1:54Speaker 2: announcing the layoffs this very shortly paramount. Yeah, you know,
- 2:00Speaker 2: lay them all off. You know, as as one of
- 2:03Speaker 2: the managers used to say, you know, when they were
- 2:05Speaker 2: trying to sign some some star baseball player, we finished
- 2:08Speaker 2: last with you. We can finish last without you. I
- 2:12Speaker 2: think I think that sums up everybody at CBS News,
- 2:15Speaker 2: doesn't it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Hey, Haley Carr watching this, No Kings, it looked like
- 2:21Speaker 1: Halloween at the Senior Center. I mean a lot of
- 2:23Speaker 1: old people there. What did you think of that?
- 2:26Speaker 2: It was it was really pitiful. I mean we you know,
- 2:28Speaker 2: if you if you drive around the suburbs, especially in
- 2:31Speaker 2: the Northeast, all summer long, they've been they've been kind
- 2:34Speaker 2: of like doing these uh these dress rehearsals. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: they go out on uh you know, on Saturdays at
- 2:40Speaker 2: the rotaries and that the overpasses, and they've been holding
- 2:44Speaker 2: up these signs and you know, they've they've all they've
- 2:47Speaker 2: all got walkers and kings and hand lettered signs, and
- 2:51Speaker 2: it's just that it's you know, they used to be
- 2:54Speaker 2: a Boston City council when they see old people doing
- 2:56Speaker 2: stuff like this and always say they ought to be
- 2:58Speaker 2: home praying for a happy death. And every time I
- 3:01Speaker 2: would see them on TV, I was just thinking about that.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You know, they're they're they're round and third they're at
- 3:07Speaker 2: the checkout county to use some moral cliches, I mean,
- 3:10Speaker 2: they're just it was it was just sad, and they
- 3:13Speaker 2: didn't even know what they were talking about. They have
- 3:15Speaker 2: no clue. I mean, what exactly is there is their complaint?
- 3:19Speaker 2: You know, they're how about the fact. I loved when
- 3:22Speaker 2: Elizabeth war and the fake Indians put out. We're very
- 3:25Speaker 2: familiar with this in Boston, have been since the Key
- 3:27Speaker 2: Party in seventeen seventeen seventy three, and somebody and immediately,
- 3:32Speaker 2: like dozens of people tweeted back at her. Yeah, they
- 3:35Speaker 2: were faking being Indians just like you, you know. I mean,
- 3:40Speaker 2: they have no self awareness, no no realization. And and
- 3:44Speaker 2: they're accusing Trump of shutting down free speech. Is there
- 3:47Speaker 2: as they're marching around making rulves of themselves. He's saying
- 3:51Speaker 2: he's going to shut down the media, you know, after
- 3:53Speaker 2: they after they canceled thousands of us on social media,
- 3:58Speaker 2: you know, for talking about out COVID, you know, and
- 4:03Speaker 2: now they're accusing trial they accused. It's classic projection is
- 4:07Speaker 2: as always with these people, you know, they accuse us
- 4:11Speaker 2: of doing to them what they did to us, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 2: only the difference is we didn't do it to them.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Hey, Howie Carr has got a great new book, Mass Corruption. Uh.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You know, we think of Boston, we just think of
- 4:24Speaker 1: this peaceful, little sleepy town. But you've got more stuff
- 4:28Speaker 1: going on in that place, Boston than How did it
- 4:32Speaker 1: ever get so bad? There was it always that way.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I don't know. They just fired this this state trooper
- 4:39Speaker 2: that he was fired and he just gave up his
- 4:43Speaker 2: appeal because he's They've got so much other dirt on
- 4:45Speaker 2: him with his text messages. His name is Proctor, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: the irony is there was a Proctor in the Salem
- 4:52Speaker 2: witch trials who was hanged as a witch. You think
- 4:55Speaker 2: this the family would have taken the hint, you know,
- 4:59Speaker 2: But then then another Proctor was involved in framing Socco
- 5:04Speaker 2: and Vanzetti back in nineteen twenty five, and you know,
- 5:07Speaker 2: they still didn't take the end when he got busted
- 5:10Speaker 2: for that. So you know, I mean, maybe this guy's
- 5:13Speaker 2: going to leave now. But you're right. I mean, there's
- 5:15Speaker 2: just this amazing run of corruption in Massachusetts and it's
- 5:20Speaker 2: just you know, people being framed, people being framed by
- 5:22Speaker 2: the FBI. Muller was involved in a big frame up
- 5:25Speaker 2: of for people. I mean, he didn't he didn't stop it,
- 5:29Speaker 2: and he tried to cover it up as FBI director,
- 5:32Speaker 2: he was the US attorney. And Robert Muller. I know,
- 5:35Speaker 2: people are going, who Muller, Who's Muller? How soon we
- 5:38Speaker 2: forget he's how soon he forgets too. He will he
- 5:41Speaker 2: will not be testifying in the upcoming Epstein trials because
- 5:44Speaker 2: he's he's in an assisted living facility where Joe Biden belongs.
- 5:50Speaker 2: But you know, I mean there, it goes all the
- 5:53Speaker 2: way back. It's just it's just so bad for people
- 5:56Speaker 2: being framed at state, local levels. They just let a
- 6:00Speaker 2: a Chinese American woman out of prison. They convicted her
- 6:05Speaker 2: of setting her house on fire and killing both her
- 6:07Speaker 2: parents when she was eighteen. Twenty two years later, she's
- 6:11Speaker 2: forty years old, never been outside of prison. They discovered
- 6:14Speaker 2: shed to do it. It's just happening over and over again.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it rested you. You're not a Blue Bloods fan,
- 6:22Speaker 1: are you? What? Blue Blood's the TV show? Oh no, no,
- 6:27Speaker 1: because they.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Met you asking me if I was a fan. I'm
- 6:29Speaker 2: not a fan of Blue Bloods period either. You know,
- 6:31Speaker 2: they never treated me very well. Mark I. Somehow I've
- 6:35Speaker 2: never been able to pass for one of them, even
- 6:37Speaker 2: though I've spent a lot of time with them.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Oh I just mentioned because the sequel and has now moved,
- 6:42Speaker 1: it's called Boston Blue. It's it's tough for US New
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yorkers to watch cops with Boston accents. It doesn't. It's
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's strange to us.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, people have trouble with Boston accents. You know, it's
- 6:54Speaker 2: I think you're a well advised not to attempt it.
- 6:58Speaker 2: You know, she won't have a naturally. The only guy
- 7:01Speaker 2: who ever pulled it off, I think was Robert Mitcham
- 7:03Speaker 2: and the friends of Eddie Coyle.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, well, hey mar Lago. President Trump, first time there
- 7:10Speaker 1: in a long time. He went there this past weekend.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Does that mean that, Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 2: The season starts early, That's what everybody's saying. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 2: usually he usually waits the first the first big night
- 7:19Speaker 2: is is Halloween. That's when it opens. And I mean
- 7:22Speaker 2: that's a lot earlier than the season used to begin
- 7:24Speaker 2: at bomb Beach. But yeah, he came, he came back.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I think he had a giant fundraiser, oh on Friday night.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I think that's I think that's one of the main
- 7:32Speaker 2: reasons he was back. I also think he didn't want to,
- 7:35Speaker 2: you know, be there when when the geriatric U No
- 7:41Speaker 2: No Kings, Yeah they I don't think he had as
- 7:44Speaker 2: much to worry about as he did when the Black
- 7:46Speaker 2: Lives Matter mobs tried to burn down the White House
- 7:50Speaker 2: and the Episcopal Church next next across the street in
- 7:54Speaker 2: twenty twenty. But you know, it's still it's still will
- 7:56Speaker 2: look embarrassing. I think it was a good move for
- 7:58Speaker 2: him to get out of town for the for the weekend,
- 8:00Speaker 2: played around the golf on Saturday morning, pied up the traffic,
- 8:04Speaker 2: you know, but no one, no one grudged him that.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And then you saw that little that hunting stand that
- 8:10Speaker 2: was that was very weird at the airport. Yeah, there
- 8:15Speaker 2: are any deer in Palm Beach heavy at least I've
- 8:17Speaker 2: never seen any.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Yeah, very very good point. Yeah, it's just awful. Well,
- 8:23Speaker 1: everybody get Howie Carr's latest book. It's called Mass Corruption,
- 8:28Speaker 1: and uh, just tell the very quickly what the book
- 8:30Speaker 1: is about, because it's it's a fact.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's just about it's just about all the corruption there
- 8:34Speaker 2: has been. This trial. They tried to frame a woman.
- 8:36Speaker 2: They've tried to frame her twice and just outside of
- 8:39Speaker 2: Boston for a murder she didn't commit and obviously didn't commit.
- 8:42Speaker 2: The FBI had actually the FBI, believe it or not,
- 8:44Speaker 2: had to get involved to get her out of it.
- 8:47Speaker 2: And there have been a bunch of cover ups and uh,
- 8:49Speaker 2: you know, murders that were rural suicides, and the mass
- 8:53Speaker 2: State police have been very corrupted. I've got all this
- 8:55Speaker 2: stuff that they were fake. They faked tens of thousands
- 8:58Speaker 2: of drug tests to frame people. It's just a horrible
- 9:01Speaker 2: case of corruption. I laid it. I laid it all out.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Use a lot of my old calls. You can. You

- 9:12Speaker 2: it right now, but you know we have to have
- 9:14Speaker 2: it in hand before we can actually put it out
- 9:15Speaker 2: there on Amazon. Yeah, so it's called mass corruption. HOWI
