- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Hey, that's Mark Simone seven ten W Award.
- 0:07Speaker 2: That was yesterday. It's Thursday, well not almost over. The
- 0:11Speaker 2: week is almost. Remember it's a three day weekend coming
- 0:14Speaker 2: up Martin Luther King Day on Monday. So now, as
- 0:20Speaker 2: we told you yesterday, the committee looking at Jeffrey Epstein
- 0:24Speaker 2: has asked for months and months and months to have
- 0:27Speaker 2: Bill and Hillary Clinton come testify. Donald Trump had very
- 0:32Speaker 2: little to do with Jeffrey Epstein. He knew him briefly
- 0:34Speaker 2: in the beginning, cut him off, threw him out of
- 0:38Speaker 2: mar A Lago. He knew him for a year or two.
- 0:40Speaker 3: That was.
- 0:41Speaker 2: And then you're talking about back in the twenty five
- 0:43Speaker 2: years ago. It was the Clintons that had a very
- 0:46Speaker 2: close friendship or whatever it was, relationship with Epstein, business who,
- 0:52Speaker 2: whatever it was, it was continuing until the end. The
- 0:55Speaker 2: Clinton's very close to Epstein. And in the case of Trump,
- 1:00Speaker 2: Epstein became a wealthy guy, went to Palm Beach, and
- 1:05Speaker 2: if you're a very wealthy guy in Palm Beach, one
- 1:07Speaker 2: of the first things you do is join mar A
- 1:09Speaker 2: Lago and they started hanging around there. That's where Trump
- 1:11Speaker 2: got to know him. And here in New York. Epstein
- 1:14Speaker 2: would throw these great parties or be at these great parties,
- 1:17Speaker 2: and you get a certain charm to him. I always
- 1:20Speaker 2: found him kind of sleazy, but he was spending a
- 1:24Speaker 2: lot of money. So you know, if you own a club,
- 1:27Speaker 2: a country club, a mar a lago, a resort, and
- 1:30Speaker 2: a guy comes and has a ton of money and
- 1:32Speaker 2: he seems to be spending it in your place, you're
- 1:35Speaker 2: nice to him, you're friendly with him. And all the
- 1:37Speaker 2: pictures you see with Trump are all at parties. So
- 1:40Speaker 2: if there was a big party in the ballroom, you
- 1:44Speaker 2: know Trump would come down spend a few minutes with
- 1:46Speaker 2: the guy. It's perfectly normal. You know, if you're the
- 1:48Speaker 2: biggest spender in Las Vegas, when you go to the hotel,
- 1:53Speaker 2: the head of the hotel will come down and talk
- 1:54Speaker 2: to you for a few minutes, see if you need anything.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's that kind of relationship, and Trump did that with
- 1:59Speaker 2: a lot of people. There was a very, very very
- 2:03Speaker 2: wealthy guy who got married, and this is when Trump
- 2:07Speaker 2: owned the Plaza. I remember he threw a wedding that
- 2:10Speaker 2: was unbelievable. He must have spent twenty million on this wedding.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I mean it was unbelievable. It was like seventeen famous
- 2:17Speaker 2: bands in a row. It was like Chicago, followed by Tavares,
- 2:22Speaker 2: followed by the Ojays. I mean, you hired all these
- 2:24Speaker 2: ban It was just unbelievable. The food, the money. This
- 2:28Speaker 2: is in the Plaza Hotel ballroom and it was about
- 2:31Speaker 2: midnight and Trump shows up and I said, what are
- 2:33Speaker 2: you doing here? I didn't know you know this guy
- 2:35Speaker 2: because I don't know the guy. He said, but he's
- 2:36Speaker 2: spending a fortune. He's a great customer. I want to
- 2:39Speaker 2: say hello to him. I want to see if he
- 2:41Speaker 2: needs me to do anything at his wedding, say a
- 2:43Speaker 2: few words, take pictures, whatever. So you just do that.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And that's kind of relationship he had with Epstein. Now,
- 2:49Speaker 2: the Clinton's had a long relationship that continued at the
- 2:52Speaker 2: very end. It was Epstein that formed the Clinton Foundation,
- 2:55Speaker 2: the Clinton Global Initiative, put the whole thing together.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Sell.
- 3:00Speaker 2: This committee has asked the Clintons to come in and
- 3:03Speaker 2: testify about Epstein. It's not that they're being accused of anything.
- 3:07Speaker 2: You just like to have them shed some light on
- 3:10Speaker 2: the whole situation. They've refused and refused, and refused and
- 3:14Speaker 2: refused and refused to come in. Even some left wing
- 3:18Speaker 2: people getting upset. John Stewart on the show said the
- 3:20Speaker 2: clinton should abbs blank and lutely comply with Epstein's subpoenas. Absolutely,
- 3:26Speaker 2: they should comply, he said, everybody should comply. These are
- 3:31Speaker 2: victims of these heinous cases, should finally get some justice.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So everybody's screaming for the Clintons to testify. They have
- 3:38Speaker 2: absolutely refused. They've defied Congress. Steve Bannon did it, Peter
- 3:43Speaker 2: Navarro defied Congress, and they went to jail for it,
- 3:45Speaker 2: so that something's got to happen to Clinton's Here's the
- 3:47Speaker 2: committee chairman, James Comer.
- 3:49Speaker 5: I think what's most disappointing to the Oversight Committee is
- 3:53Speaker 5: the fact that we have in good faith negotiated with
- 3:56Speaker 5: the Clinton's attorneys for five months. Throughout the past five months,
- 4:01Speaker 5: they've implied to us they were trying to make a
- 4:04Speaker 5: date work.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, well now they're not coming. They've actually told them
- 4:08Speaker 2: they're not coming. So what do you do they refuse
- 4:10Speaker 2: to come? Draw up contempt charges contempt to Congress. Here's Comer.
- 4:15Speaker 5: We're going to vote on it in committee Wednesday, so
- 4:18Speaker 5: we're giving plenty of notice. We're having a mark up,
- 4:20Speaker 5: a regularly scheduled markup for the House Oversight Committee. We
- 4:24Speaker 5: will mark up criminal contempt of Congress chargers for both
- 4:29Speaker 5: Clintons for defying a legal subpoena.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Okay, now, the problem is if they charge them, who
- 4:35Speaker 2: does the prosecuting, Well, it'll go to the district attorney
- 4:39Speaker 2: in Washington, d C. Guess who that is, Jenine Piro. Now, remember,
- 4:44Speaker 2: as I explained to you yesterday, it was the Clintons
- 4:47Speaker 2: that put her husband in jail in a ridiculous case.
- 4:52Speaker 2: He didn't deserve to go to jail. It was some
- 4:54Speaker 2: you know, whatever they charged them with. Whenever I had
- 4:56Speaker 2: asked people in this attorney's office, where are the hell
- 4:58Speaker 2: did discharge come from? And they said, and that was
- 5:00Speaker 2: something lying around for years ago. Nobody in the office
- 5:03Speaker 2: thought it was anything. But it was the Clintons, and
- 5:05Speaker 2: they got a conviction, and they sent her husband to jail,
- 5:09Speaker 2: so she would be the one coming after them. It's
- 5:12Speaker 2: not going to be good. Not going to be good.
- 5:14Speaker 2: The husband was later pardoned, he's no longer found he's
- 5:17Speaker 2: a good guy. He didn't deserve any of that. But
- 5:21Speaker 2: this is not going to go well for the Clintons. Now,
- 5:23Speaker 2: the Clinton's only argument will be something like, we don't
- 5:27Speaker 2: feel that a ex president, a former president, should be
- 5:30Speaker 2: forced to testify in front of Congress. But that doesn't
- 5:34Speaker 2: pass the smell test or the laugh test or any
- 5:37Speaker 2: of that. So you remember two days ago the President
- 5:41Speaker 2: visited the Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Bill Ford the chairman,
- 5:47Speaker 2: walking him around the plant and then also the CEO.
- 5:51Speaker 2: They're touring the plant. Went on for about an hour. Well,
- 5:53Speaker 2: at one point a Ford factory worker yelled something awful
- 5:57Speaker 2: at the President like you're a paediphi, I'll protect her.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Y why you're protecting pedophiles? Something ridiculous, ugly moment, and
- 6:05Speaker 2: the President actually gave him the finger. I know it's
- 6:08Speaker 2: not presidential, you're not supposed to do that, but you
- 6:11Speaker 2: know what he did it. Well, Ford, you know, thought
- 6:16Speaker 2: this was a horrible thing. They were televising this whole thing,
- 6:21Speaker 2: cameras were rolling. They thought it was just awful for Ford.
- 6:23Speaker 2: It made Ford look terrible. So they suspended the worker.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And I don't think that's unfair. I think that would happen,
- 6:30Speaker 2: you know if here at any iHeart or at any corporation,
- 6:34Speaker 2: if you were having some big formal ceremony and an
- 6:37Speaker 2: employee yelled out something awful and disrupted the ceremony, well
- 6:42Speaker 2: they'd probably suspend you too. And if it were something
- 6:45Speaker 2: where a big dignitary was coming and you disrupted it,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm sure they would suspend you. And if the President
- 6:50Speaker 2: of the United States and there's cameras rolling, of course
- 6:53Speaker 2: they would suspend you. So it's not unfair. The United
- 6:59Speaker 2: Auto Worker says it's reviewing the employee's suspension. But here's
- 7:02Speaker 2: the interesting part. Democrats, crazy left wing people all over
- 7:06Speaker 2: the country started two different go Fundme pages for the
- 7:10Speaker 2: suspended worker and they've raised near nearly eight hundred thousand
- 7:14Speaker 2: dollars eight hundred thousand, which is probably four or five
- 7:19Speaker 2: years salary for this guy. It's actually a good way
- 7:22Speaker 2: to get a lot of money out of democrats pockets,
- 7:24Speaker 2: you know. And these go fundme pages. The wife of
- 7:29Speaker 2: Renee Good got something like one point five million from
- 7:32Speaker 2: these go fundme things. Just do something outrageous and these
- 7:35Speaker 2: liberals will contribute like crazy. But we'll see what happens.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And we'll see. Now, is that a tip? There's no
- 7:47Speaker 2: tax on tips, But we'll see if he ends up
- 7:50Speaker 2: declaring that money or even taking it. Now, you know,
- 7:53Speaker 2: Mark Kelly is the senator who started that crazy video
- 7:58Speaker 2: about if you're giving a new legal order, don't obey it,
- 8:02Speaker 2: and what they call them the Insurrection five or the
- 8:06Speaker 2: seditious the Seditious seven or whatever they were, those democrats
- 8:10Speaker 2: on that video telling the military if they think their
- 8:13Speaker 2: orders illegal, not to obey. Well, Pete Hegseath has demoted
- 8:19Speaker 2: Mark Kelly's former military but there's still a way you
- 8:22Speaker 2: can demote him, and it does cut his pension a little.
- 8:27Speaker 2: So Mark Kelly is now suing Pete Hegseath. He's suing
- 8:32Speaker 2: the Defense Department. I guess attorneys have looked at this,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I mean smart, great attorneys say he's got no case
- 8:38Speaker 2: at all. He said, hex of this is attempting to
- 8:41Speaker 2: punish a sitting member of the Senate committee for criticizing
- 8:45Speaker 2: the president. Well, this is why you've got no case.
- 8:48Speaker 2: It's not over criticizing a president. Everybody in Congress criticizes
- 8:52Speaker 2: the president all day and night, so that's not unusual.
- 8:55Speaker 2: This would be for creating seditious conditions. Now, the problem was,
- 9:01Speaker 2: there are no illegal orders being given. There's never been
- 9:04Speaker 2: a hint of any illegal orders being given, even Kelly
- 9:07Speaker 2: can't point to anything. So if you're putting out these
- 9:10Speaker 2: propaganda videos urging military not to comply with orders they
- 9:14Speaker 2: think might be, it's putting it in their head. It's
- 9:17Speaker 2: creating this whole false climate that there might be illegal orders.
- 9:21Speaker 2: So I can understand Hexa's thinking, here, you got to
- 9:24Speaker 2: stop this kind of seditious behavior. The lawsuit will go
- 9:27Speaker 2: absolutely nowhere, got no chance at all. Do you have
- 9:32Speaker 2: a Verizon phone? Did you go through this outage yesterday?
- 9:35Speaker 2: One hundred and seventy thousand customers for twelve hours had
- 9:39Speaker 2: no service in Seattle, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington, DC.
- 9:46Speaker 2: You'd get that SOS. By the way, if you have
- 9:48Speaker 2: an iPhone and you have no signal at all, you
- 9:53Speaker 2: can still use this. There's a satellite feature. It's built
- 9:55Speaker 2: in when you go to SOS mode. If it says
- 9:58Speaker 2: SOS mode an absolute emergency, that will go to a
- 10:02Speaker 2: satellite and get your help if you need it. One
- 10:04Speaker 2: reason to get an iPhone. But could you imagine your
- 10:08Speaker 2: cell service goes out for twelve hours, what you'd have
- 10:11Speaker 2: to go through, You'd have to actually talk to people,
- 10:14Speaker 2: you'd have to actually not use your phone and just
- 10:18Speaker 2: go through life looking at everything, talking to everything, not
- 10:23Speaker 2: taking pictures, not reading, just enjoying life, just like people
- 10:26Speaker 2: used to do years ago. It's hard to go back
- 10:28Speaker 2: and think about that. If this were nineteen ninety two, well,
- 10:35Speaker 2: there were a few cell phones then, but all you
- 10:36Speaker 2: could do is make a call on let's say it
- 10:38Speaker 2: was nineteen eighty seven, there was nobody on a mobile phone.
- 10:41Speaker 2: What the hell did you do all day? What did
- 10:44Speaker 2: you do when you were on the train, or what
- 10:47Speaker 2: did you do when you're waiting in the airport. I'm
- 10:50Speaker 2: trying to well, I guess you had to bring stuff
- 10:51Speaker 2: with you. You had to bring books, you had to bring magazines,
- 10:56Speaker 2: which means you had to carry all this stuff around.
- 10:58Speaker 2: But when you got home, what did you do? Well,
- 11:02Speaker 2: you could watch TV. You could make some phone calls,
- 11:06Speaker 2: but that was it. That was absolutely all you could do. Now,
- 11:11Speaker 2: what if you're watching TV. They talked about something that
- 11:13Speaker 2: was in you, she said, Wow, I didn't know. Let me
- 11:15Speaker 2: go look that up. Now you just go right to
- 11:18Speaker 2: the computer and google it. What did you do then, Well,
- 11:22Speaker 2: I don't know, what could you do? Maybe you had
- 11:24Speaker 2: some books that would have it in there, but probably not.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Probably Where would you go to bookstore the next day?
- 11:28Speaker 2: A library? What? There was nothing you could do? How
- 11:31Speaker 2: did we live like that? How did we even do
- 11:33Speaker 2: a radio show?
- 11:34Speaker 4: Look?
- 11:34Speaker 2: I got all these computers in front of me with
- 11:36Speaker 2: everything on him. How did we do anything back then?
- 11:40Speaker 2: I really don't know. How did we?
- 11:42Speaker 4: Uh?
- 11:43Speaker 2: I guess we had newspapers stacked up, and every newsroom
- 11:46Speaker 2: had a million, big, huge books, all these almanacs and
- 11:49Speaker 2: all these sort of things up there. Zorain Mamdani talks
- 11:53Speaker 2: to the president all the time, but he's still crazy.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Mom Donni Litsten to him yelling and screaming at a
- 12:01Speaker 2: rally about Tom Holman. It sounds like a reasonable guy
- 12:13Speaker 2: doesn't eat now. Tom Holman was asked about mam Donnie.
- 12:16Speaker 6: I have not met with the mayor in New York City.
- 12:18Speaker 6: I did meet with the mayor, the prior mayor, Eric Adam,
- 12:21Speaker 6: because he asked for me. So we'll see what happens.
- 12:25Speaker 6: So I have not met with Mondonnie. The only time
- 12:26Speaker 6: I've ever seen it, it's up in Albany, New York,
- 12:29Speaker 6: before he ran from mayor. And you're screaming and yelling.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Chrishma's way through state police try to get a moment
- 12:33Speaker 6: with me, but I was too busy eat my app'm.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And ignore him. No, I can't imagine if they met
- 12:39Speaker 2: two guys more incompatible Mom Donnie the young elitist left
- 12:43Speaker 2: wing kook Ivy League, and the old lunch bucket upstate
- 12:48Speaker 2: New York, Tom Holman, sort of a guy. So the
- 12:51Speaker 2: President is threatening to cut funding for ICE Front four
- 12:57Speaker 2: states if they fight ICE, if they don't follow the
- 13:00Speaker 2: He's threatening to cut their funding if you try to
- 13:03Speaker 2: be a sanctuary city.
- 13:04Speaker 7: Additionally, starting February first, we're not making any payments to
- 13:08Speaker 7: sanctuary cities or states having sanctuary cities because they do
- 13:13Speaker 7: everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American
- 13:17Speaker 7: citizens and it breeds fraud and crime and all.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Of the other problems that comes.
- 13:21Speaker 7: So we're not making any payment to anybody that supports
- 13:25Speaker 7: sanctuary cities.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah, some of that payment is locked in through congressionals,
- 13:29Speaker 2: but a lot of it isn't, and it funds transit,
- 13:33Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff. What would that do to a city, Mamdani?
- 13:36Speaker 8: Any cut in funding would have a significant impact on
- 13:39Speaker 8: the city's ability to not only fulfill the budget that
- 13:42Speaker 8: it has today, but also to fulfill an agenda that
- 13:45Speaker 8: would ensure that more New Yorkers can afford to stay
- 13:47Speaker 8: in the city.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Here's hopel.
- 13:49Speaker 9: This is just a threat to intimidate states like New
- 13:52Speaker 9: York into bowing into submission, and that is something we'll
- 13:56Speaker 9: never do. So I say this, you touch any more
- 14:00Speaker 9: her money from the State of New York, we'll see
- 14:01Speaker 9: you in court.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, Now she's right. It is intimidation, trying
- 14:08Speaker 2: to get her to bow. And yeah, what he's trying
- 14:10Speaker 2: to get her to do is actually follow American law,
- 14:13Speaker 2: enforce American laws. That's what he wants to do. Follow
- 14:17Speaker 2: the law, enforce the law. She can go to court,
- 14:21Speaker 2: she can sue. The top legal scholars of the world
- 14:24Speaker 2: have all said the lawsuit would have absolutely no chance
- 14:28Speaker 2: of succeeding. But does that stop mom, Donnie.
- 14:32Speaker 8: Our values and our laws cannot be bargaining chips. I
- 14:38Speaker 8: will always defend the city and every single person who
- 14:41Speaker 8: calls the city home, even in the face of threats
- 14:44Speaker 8: from the federal administration to withhold funds.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Our values are laws. But the problem is it's the
- 14:50Speaker 2: president wants the law enforced. It's Mom Donnie that wants
- 14:53Speaker 2: the law ignored. You know, if they get into court,
- 14:55Speaker 2: they might find out this whole sanctuary city thing is
- 14:58Speaker 2: totally illegal. Sanctuary city sanctuary from the law is totally unconstitutional.
- 15:03Speaker 2: So if I were them, I wouldn't try this. Hey,
- 15:07Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred
- 15:10Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Give woor oh, Bri said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 15:21Speaker 1: hear Marx Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Now back to the Marximo show on woor.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Bill in
- 15:35Speaker 2: New Jersey. Bill, how you doing?
- 15:38Speaker 10: Hello?
- 15:38Speaker 4: Mark?
- 15:39Speaker 11: You know I just heard Mandami Belly aching about funding.
- 15:42Speaker 11: We need this, we need that, we need money. Without it,
- 15:45Speaker 11: we're going to collapse. And it reminds me of all
- 15:48Speaker 11: in the Family Day's TV show when they sang everybody
- 15:53Speaker 11: pulled their weight, and back when I grew up, everybody
- 15:56Speaker 11: pulled their weight. There were no bloodsucking people for them.
- 16:00Speaker 11: But I'm thinking, how did all this happen? And I'm
- 16:03Speaker 11: thinking about, you know, in the eighties, crack became very big,
- 16:07Speaker 11: Cocaine became very big, and you had these crack moms
- 16:11Speaker 11: having babies. Now they're thirty five, forty five years old.
- 16:15Speaker 11: They don't work, they want to bloodshot more money, and
- 16:18Speaker 11: it comes down to give us more, give us more.
- 16:21Speaker 11: What the hell happened?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Mark, Well, it's a lot of things all at once.
- 16:24Speaker 2: First of all, you had these universities that over the
- 16:27Speaker 2: last few decades became so left wing. They became these
- 16:31Speaker 2: socialist and doctrination camps. Then you had fake news just
- 16:36Speaker 2: get more and more and more corrupt, covering everything up.
- 16:39Speaker 2: And then you had the Democratic Party shift from the
- 16:42Speaker 2: party of the working class to U Let's get everybody
- 16:45Speaker 2: on marijuana, on weed, Let's get everybody on welfare. Let's
- 16:49Speaker 2: get everybody on government programs. That way, they'll be obligated
- 16:52Speaker 2: to us, they'll vote for us. It was just all
- 16:54Speaker 2: this stuff coming together. How do you fix it? I
- 16:57Speaker 2: don't know. I mean, can you imagine if Donald Trump
- 16:59Speaker 2: wasn't there, this tough street fighter battling this. Imagine if
- 17:03Speaker 2: you had a tame, mild politician trying to fight this.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Let's go to Pete and Marlborough. Pete How you doing.
- 17:10Speaker 12: I'm doing well, Mark. I have a question. All these
- 17:15Speaker 12: people Leticia James call me, when are they going to
- 17:18Speaker 12: be prosecuted? I don't understand, or when are they going
- 17:22Speaker 12: to go to trial? They keep on delaying this, and
- 17:25Speaker 12: you know, I'm sure frustrated with BONDI.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Well, I don't think it's a problem with Letitia James.
- 17:32Speaker 2: They keep going in these left wing courts and they
- 17:34Speaker 2: don't delay. The case gets tossed out, so they keep
- 17:37Speaker 2: looking at other cases they're trying. It's not easy, you know,
- 17:39Speaker 2: It's it's a pretty slanted legal system too. Call me
- 17:44Speaker 2: definitely a slimy guy, but you're right, so far they
- 17:50Speaker 2: haven't actually made any progress on any of these. Let's
- 17:53Speaker 2: go to John in New York. John, how you doing?
- 17:56Speaker 3: Hey?
- 17:57Speaker 4: Mark?
- 17:57Speaker 3: A quick question. You know, I'm a Trump supporter, as
- 17:59Speaker 3: you know, and I just I know how I know that. Well.
- 18:05Speaker 3: I am a question. Why did President Trump put his
- 18:09Speaker 3: name on the Kennedy Center. I mean, I'm with Trump
- 18:12Speaker 3: on ninety nine percent of the issues, but I don't
- 18:14Speaker 3: agree with slapping your name a sitting president.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Well, he didn't do it. He didn't do it. The
- 18:19Speaker 2: board of the Kennedy Center voted to do it. Now,
- 18:21Speaker 2: it's mostly a frenzy hiss who were appointed to the board.
- 18:24Speaker 2: But I think one reason they wanted to do it
- 18:27Speaker 2: was they didn't realize this until they got there. The
- 18:29Speaker 2: Kennedy Center was in total disrepair, crumbling, the building in
- 18:33Speaker 2: total decay. Trump came in and fixed it, turned it around.
- 18:37Speaker 2: That's why they wanted to do that for him. Does
- 18:39Speaker 2: that help?
- 18:40Speaker 3: Okay?
- 18:40Speaker 4: All right?
- 18:41Speaker 3: Thank you? Mark? Okact.
- 18:42Speaker 2: So it's a little ob noxious to go put your
- 18:45Speaker 2: name on everything, but that's Trump. He's been doing it
- 18:49Speaker 2: all his life. Every building was Trump Tower, Trump Palace,
- 18:52Speaker 2: Trump this, Trump that. It's a little of noxious, but
- 18:55Speaker 2: it's it's the Trump style. Well, let's go to Bob
- 18:58Speaker 2: in Montvale, New Jersey.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Bob, how you doing hanging in there? Mark? Thanks?
- 19:03Speaker 1: You know this Lakewood School District story will never make
- 19:08Speaker 1: you know News twelve at a Bergen Record.
- 19:11Speaker 2: What story you're talking about?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Lakewood School System was taken over by Phil Murphy today
- 19:19Speaker 1: because they're bankrupt now in New Jersey here fifty.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I hate to break it to you, this is not
- 19:25Speaker 2: the most exciting story. That's why it doesn't get too
- 19:27Speaker 2: much publicity.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Well, it will be in New Jersey when we pay
- 19:30Speaker 1: the tax.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Well, all right, but you know there might be something
- 19:34Speaker 2: going on in Ice Loup Long Island. That's a big
- 19:36Speaker 2: thing there. But it's not going to be a big story.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Oh did he hang up? He hung up? He don't.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Don't I hurt your feelings. I don't mean it. It's
- 19:46Speaker 2: just you know, in the newspaper, in the newsroom of
- 19:49Speaker 2: the TV network, they have these editorial board meetings where
- 19:52Speaker 2: you're come in and you pitch stories. And when you
- 19:56Speaker 2: pitch this, the room does not light up at the
- 19:59Speaker 2: thought of this story. It's not that exciting. Let's go
- 20:01Speaker 2: to Lou and Queen's Lou. How you doing?
- 20:04Speaker 4: And Mark?
- 20:05Speaker 10: I think I love Steve Moore. I mean I agree
- 20:08Speaker 10: with his economic opinions on a lot of stuff. You know,
- 20:11Speaker 10: I think you and I are right. I think the
- 20:14Speaker 10: credit card company should have a cap on their interest rates,
- 20:18Speaker 10: which arege Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 2: No, I mean that's my But what the hell do
- 20:21Speaker 2: I know? I mean, Steve Moore is a more of
- 20:23Speaker 2: an expert on this. You could put a cap on
- 20:27Speaker 2: how much interest they can charge, But then what that
- 20:29Speaker 2: would mean The effect would be they wouldn't give credit
- 20:32Speaker 2: cards to a lot of people, a lot less people
- 20:35Speaker 2: would be able to get a credit card and would
- 20:37Speaker 2: have a bad effect on us. If it'd be mostly
- 20:40Speaker 2: a lower and lower income people that couldn't get a
- 20:43Speaker 2: credit card, and it would have a negative effect. So
- 20:46Speaker 2: again we're not expert. Steve Moore actually is can do
- 20:49Speaker 2: all the big calculations on this. Hey, when we come back,
- 20:52Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla will be with us. One of our favorite
- 20:54Speaker 2: moments of the week, Jimmy Fayla every Thursday. We'll talk
- 20:57Speaker 2: to him next on seven to ten w Welcome back
- 21:01Speaker 2: to the Mark Simone Show WR. Well, Hey, we got
- 21:07Speaker 2: a big new hit show every night at nine o'clock.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla. He's on WR nine to midnight every weeknight.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Listen to him tonight. It's an excellent show. It's very funny,
- 21:17Speaker 2: it's a very interesting. And don't forget Saturday nights at ten.
- 21:20Speaker 2: He does the best late night show on TV on
- 21:23Speaker 2: the Fox News Channel. There's no better monologue in TV.
- 21:27Speaker 2: The Fox News Channel Saturday nights at ten and every
- 21:30Speaker 2: weeknight nine o'clock on WR, Jimmy Fayla, How you doing.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I'm good?
- 21:35Speaker 1: You know, I just had Tom Holman on the show
- 21:37Speaker 1: two days ago with the Secret Service, and he was
- 21:41Speaker 1: in my studio right here, and I had tried to
- 21:44Speaker 1: give him a list of American citizens I'm trying to
- 21:46Speaker 1: deport and he would.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Not take it.
- 21:49Speaker 13: I'm disappointed to say, well.
- 21:52Speaker 2: He did you. You know, it's a big thing whenever
- 21:54Speaker 2: you interview Tom Holman trying to get him to laugh.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Nobody's been able to do it so far.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Were you.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Oh, I know, That's what I'm going to tell you.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I get laughs out of him here and there because
- 22:03Speaker 1: I asked him silly questions and he'll give you a
- 22:06Speaker 1: little something. But you're right, he's a very intense guy. Yeah, everybody.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I said this on the show. Though he has deported
- 22:13Speaker 1: so many people that the eighties Bad Foreigner changed their
- 22:16Speaker 1: name to citizens.
- 22:19Speaker 2: But well, as a great comedian, you would not want
- 22:21Speaker 2: him in the front row, would.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You, Well, you wouldn't want him in the kitchen either.
- 22:27Speaker 4: The way staff will get a little nervous.
- 22:30Speaker 2: So, hey, we're talking about this. Before the Democratic Party
- 22:34Speaker 2: was the party of the working class. You thought of
- 22:37Speaker 2: the symbol of them would be the lunchbucket, the hardhat.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Now it's the party of people that don't work with
- 22:42Speaker 2: nose rings and pink hair. How did this happen?
- 22:46Speaker 1: It really is crazy how it is morphed into what
- 22:51Speaker 1: it is now, like because you're right, they used to
- 22:53Speaker 1: stand up for small businesses.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Now they burned them down.
- 22:56Speaker 1: It's something jo just wrong in their town, which is
- 22:59Speaker 1: not the way to do things. And it's angry white women.
- 23:02Speaker 1: That's who they really are. It's the party of angry
- 23:05Speaker 1: white women with too much free time on their hands.
- 23:08Speaker 1: That's why I'm serious. When you watch all those protest videos,
- 23:11Speaker 1: who's out there screaming at Ice? It's your crazy ant.
- 23:15Speaker 13: You never got married and.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Had kids and probably needs an extra cat. So she
- 23:19Speaker 1: stops calling ICE agents the Gestapo. And I think that's
- 23:22Speaker 1: the biggest challenge right now. It's like America is having
- 23:25Speaker 1: its Thanksgiving in the streets every day instead of in
- 23:28Speaker 1: that living room once a year where we had these arguments.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Yeah you would, we had angry liberals, but now it's
- 23:33Speaker 2: like spoiled brat liberals who would have the nerve to
- 23:38Speaker 2: drive their car into a police car. Who would have
- 23:40Speaker 2: that kind of nerve?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is bananas. And the fact that they're
- 23:45Speaker 1: trying to frame this through a lens where that isn't
- 23:49Speaker 1: a factor. You know, they're trying to tell you, like
- 23:52Speaker 1: that shouldn't be a factor here, like the agent should
- 23:54Speaker 1: have known.
- 23:55Speaker 10: I'm like, hey, you.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Stand in front of a car when somebody steps on
- 23:58Speaker 1: the gas.
- 23:58Speaker 4: You know you got a million to a second.
- 24:00Speaker 13: The guy got a hit.
- 24:02Speaker 4: You know, it's crazy.
- 24:03Speaker 13: But that's where they're losing the room.
- 24:04Speaker 1: You see, what we feel as guys in cover media
- 24:07Speaker 1: is we see so much of this that you feel
- 24:09Speaker 1: like this must be half the country, but it's really not.
- 24:13Speaker 1: It's you know, the squeaky wheel gets.
- 24:15Speaker 4: The most grief.
- 24:15Speaker 1: So it's always these crazy people and the ones getting paid.
- 24:19Speaker 1: And you know this is a New Yorker. It's the
- 24:21Speaker 1: same people at every protest. You know, when I'm out
- 24:25Speaker 1: on Sixth Avenue, the Free Palestine guy is the you know,
- 24:28Speaker 1: the climate change guy is the antide Okay, and in
- 24:32Speaker 1: all five instances, that guy is usually wearing high heels.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yeah. So yeah, let's say you're driving the police, the
- 24:40Speaker 2: lights go on, They're gonna pull you over. Maybe it's
- 24:43Speaker 2: a I'm gonna get mad, I'm gonna argue, maybe, but
- 24:46Speaker 2: would you have the nerve to turn your car around.
- 24:48Speaker 2: You know what, I'll drive right into his car. I'll
- 24:50Speaker 2: smash his car first. That takes all a lot of hoods.
- 24:54Speaker 13: Yeah, you're right, that's insane to me.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Like I will tell you this when I was driving attack.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You go to taxi school for real to get licensed.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Do you take a task and they kind of walk
- 25:06Speaker 1: you through the ins and ounce you need to know
- 25:07Speaker 1: about the meter and stuff like that. And they give
- 25:09Speaker 1: you a lecture about getting pulled over by the cops
- 25:12Speaker 1: and they say, just understand. You know you're gonna get
- 25:14Speaker 1: pulled over a lot on this job. Just stay calm,
- 25:17Speaker 1: yes or no, sir. You know, when you get pulled
- 25:19Speaker 1: over by a cop, they're like, the odds of something
- 25:21Speaker 1: bad happening to you are zero unless you get.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Into it with the cop.
- 25:25Speaker 1: And you've got to acknowledge that the odds change every
- 25:28Speaker 1: time you do something physical. And that's what they're trying
- 25:31Speaker 1: to pretend is irrelevant in this case out in Minneapolis,
- 25:35Speaker 1: is you know, well the cops should just know.
- 25:37Speaker 4: And that's not how this that's not of us works. Man.
- 25:39Speaker 1: So I'm with you, and I think the country is
- 25:41Speaker 1: with us.
- 25:42Speaker 4: I actually I actually.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Feel better about this than most people do, because I
- 25:46Speaker 1: think the average person is looking at these protests, you know,
- 25:48Speaker 1: just like, who are these losers?
- 25:50Speaker 4: You know, it's like you're sending the wrong people.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I always say this about them. I'm conservative, I'm you know,
- 25:56Speaker 1: the pro life crowd. They send too many of my
- 25:58Speaker 1: fat cousins who wear fanny packs. Okay, they don't make
- 26:02Speaker 1: life look that exciting.
- 26:03Speaker 4: I think you got to.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I think the pro life crowd needs to bring out
- 26:06Speaker 1: some better looking people who look.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Like they're having fun.
- 26:08Speaker 13: You know, give my cousins the weekend off.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Well, hey, Jimmy Faylis on every night nine to midnight
- 26:14Speaker 2: right here on WR and he does the best Saturday
- 26:18Speaker 2: night show Fox News Channel ten o'clock Saturday nights. I
- 26:21Speaker 2: was waiting to watch you one Saturday night. It was
- 26:23Speaker 2: two weeks ago, and that's all a sudden they captured
- 26:25Speaker 2: Maduro and you weren't there. Well, yeah, probably had a
- 26:28Speaker 2: whole show ready to go. That must drive you nuts.
- 26:32Speaker 2: We were ready yet.
- 26:34Speaker 13: You know.
- 26:35Speaker 1: The thing is, we get bombed probably like twice a
- 26:38Speaker 1: year because Trump likes to do his attacks on Saturday,
- 26:41Speaker 1: and they blew up a ran.
- 26:42Speaker 4: That was the other time we got bumped.
- 26:44Speaker 1: So yeah, if you turn on the TV on Saturday
- 26:47Speaker 1: night you don't see me, it means somebody has been
- 26:49Speaker 1: bombed or captured. That's how it works, and that is
- 26:54Speaker 1: what happened with the Medua one.
- 26:55Speaker 4: But I laughed.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Did you know the track suit that he was wearing
- 26:59Speaker 1: that they changed him into sold out online?
- 27:03Speaker 4: That is good.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Well, it didn't look like the favorite thing. It looked
- 27:07Speaker 2: like a dictator capture kind of tracksuit. It didn't. It
- 27:10Speaker 2: looked like a prison jumpsuit. It didn't look like a
- 27:12Speaker 2: great tracksuit.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Well, well, he was in a gray Nike track suit
- 27:16Speaker 1: and apparently because it was in so many memes, people
- 27:20Speaker 1: actually went out and bought it and it sold out.
- 27:23Speaker 1: We tried to get one for my show last week
- 27:25Speaker 1: because I was gonna wear one on the air the
- 27:27Speaker 1: night he got captured, and we couldn't get when they
- 27:30Speaker 1: said it sold out online, like immediately.
- 27:32Speaker 4: First we had the Air Jordan, now we have the
- 27:34Speaker 4: Air Maduro.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Who knew?
- 27:37Speaker 13: Who knew?
- 27:38Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Taylor. The New York Giants looks like they're
- 27:40Speaker 2: very close to signing John Harbau, the coach. Didn't this
- 27:44Speaker 2: guy just get fired? Why why would you want to guy?
- 27:46Speaker 2: It just got fired from a team.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Well he's well, I don't know if you've been following
- 27:50Speaker 4: the Giants.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Well we take we take pretty much anybody.
- 27:56Speaker 11: Uh.
- 27:56Speaker 4: You know, if the.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Giants were a cruise ship, they to hire the captain
- 28:01Speaker 1: of the Titanic.
- 28:02Speaker 4: The way things have been going lately. But the truth
- 28:05Speaker 4: is he's a big.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Name coach who brings a lot of intensity and attention
- 28:10Speaker 1: back to the franchise, and a lot of times when
- 28:13Speaker 1: teams make that move, it reinvigorates the fan base. I mean,
- 28:16Speaker 1: you think of the Giants right now when you watch
- 28:18Speaker 1: those games, Mark the stands look empty, but it's because
- 28:21Speaker 1: everybody's on the roof of the stadium threatening to jump. Okay,
- 28:24Speaker 1: this this will keep people in the seats watching football.
- 28:27Speaker 4: So I'm excited.
- 28:29Speaker 2: All right, that's a pretty good answer. I didn't think
- 28:30Speaker 2: about that. You're a revenue wise, it'd be very good.
- 28:33Speaker 2: So hey, tonight, nine o'clock on w R. Who do
- 28:37Speaker 2: you have on tonight?
- 28:38Speaker 4: Ooh, we got a good one tonight.
- 28:40Speaker 1: So Deborah Leah, who is just at the Trump White
- 28:43Speaker 1: House for that big bill signing They're abandoned men from
- 28:45Speaker 1: competing against women. She's gonna be in the studio, Congressman
- 28:49Speaker 1: Andy Biggs, it's gonna get a little rowdy. That's my
- 28:52Speaker 1: only promise. Things have calmed down since Tom Homan and.
- 28:55Speaker 4: The Secret Service left, so we're gonna get back to normal.
- 28:57Speaker 4: We don't have to hide our drugs anymore now that
- 28:59Speaker 4: they're going on.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Well, listen to Jimmy Fayala tonight nine to midnight, every weeknight,
- 29:04Speaker 2: nine to midnight, seven to ten WR, and make sure
- 29:07Speaker 2: you watch the Saturday show on Fox. It's excellent ten
- 29:10Speaker 2: o'clock every Saturday night. Great work, Jimmy Fayla, Thanks for
- 29:14Speaker 2: being with us.
- 29:15Speaker 4: You're the best, buddy. See you who Mark?
- 29:16Speaker 2: All right, take care? Yeah, make sure you hear that
- 29:19Speaker 2: show tonight nine to midnight. You'll love it. And then
- 29:21Speaker 2: don't forget at noon it's Buck and Clay. And then
- 29:25Speaker 2: three o'clock. You got the most listened to radio show
- 29:28Speaker 2: in America. Sean Hannity got Jesse Kelly at six. I'm
- 29:32Speaker 2: here every day ten to noon on seven ten WR.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Mister New York, here's more.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Mark Simone on seven ten WR.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Well, hey, it looks like Giants are gonna sign John Harbaugh.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It looks closer and closer and closer. It would be
- 29:52Speaker 2: an eye popping five year contract at twenty million a year,
- 29:58Speaker 2: one hundred million dollar contract that would put him and
- 30:02Speaker 2: the very very very top salary of NFL coaches. I
- 30:06Speaker 2: think Andy Reid of Kansas City, Sean Payton Denver, I
- 30:11Speaker 2: think those are the only other ones at that level.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Twenty million a year. You got to give this guy credit.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Hard about just I mean, for a guy that just
- 30:18Speaker 2: got fired, that's a pretty good deal. That's a probably
- 30:22Speaker 2: would love to sit. And it was a job interview
- 30:24Speaker 2: today or was it yesterday? He came to meet with
- 30:28Speaker 2: the giants. All the owners were there, Steve Tish and
- 30:31Speaker 2: John Merra and Chris Merra, and they had a long
- 30:35Speaker 2: job interview. I don't know how that goes. You know,
- 30:38Speaker 2: usually they'll say, why'd you lead your why'd you leave
- 30:41Speaker 2: your previous job? Well, they threw me the hell out
- 30:45Speaker 2: I was fired. So that doesn't sound like a great
- 30:48Speaker 2: job interview. But I think Jimmy Fayala is right. They
- 30:51Speaker 2: just feel even if it's not going to be the
- 30:53Speaker 2: greatest coach, even if it wasn't great for the Ravens,
- 30:56Speaker 2: it's great for them, and it's a big name. It'll
- 31:00Speaker 2: fill the seats. It'll bring them attention, revenue, and you know,
- 31:05Speaker 2: sometimes a guy gets fired and he's not the greatest
- 31:08Speaker 2: in the world, but he's still better whenever you got
- 31:10Speaker 2: so it looks like he will be the coach. He'll
- 31:12Speaker 2: sign up pretty soon. Hey, tomorrow sunset will be after
- 31:18Speaker 2: five pm. That's the first day that's happened in a
- 31:21Speaker 2: long time, many many couple of months. So the days
- 31:25Speaker 2: are getting longer. First sunset after five tomorrow, where out
- 31:29Speaker 2: of time. I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon, see
- 31:31Speaker 2: you then, thanks for everything. Seven to ten wo
