- 0:08Speaker 1: Carrying each other to a natty to carrying each other.
- 0:11Speaker 1: On the air, there's prop Control live from the Raising
- 0:17Speaker 1: Caine Studio.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It's Off the Bench Welcome like an hour number the
- 1:08Speaker 2: Ray to be laugh from the Raids at Kaine Studio.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I just want to let y'all know how much it
- 1:15Speaker 3: pains me that we're not in a better situation in baseball.
- 1:19Speaker 3: With Florida coming to town for a Thursday Friday Saturday series,
- 1:22Speaker 3: I would be like tonight we have nothing like no practice.
- 1:25Speaker 4: No.
- 1:26Speaker 5: I would be like all up in there talking all
- 1:28Speaker 5: the issue.
- 1:29Speaker 3: You can imagine every person that walk by in blue
- 1:32Speaker 3: an orange you.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Would say, and it pains me.
- 1:34Speaker 3: You wouldn't say anything, Buddy, I don't know if you
- 1:38Speaker 3: know this, and it's not a good thing. I don't
- 1:40Speaker 3: enjoy the fact that this is how it is. The
- 1:44Speaker 3: confrontation is where I thrive. Me and a Landra have
- 1:47Speaker 3: our sweet spot of confrontation and us together as a
- 1:51Speaker 3: bad combo right.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Now, Taylor, will Taylor dice it up a little bit too.
- 1:56Speaker 3: You you don't like confrontation because you're a businessman, so
- 2:00Speaker 3: you know you deal with things.
- 2:01Speaker 4: It's fine.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Now you're much better about it than T Bob used
- 2:03Speaker 3: to be. Like, if confrontation broke out back in the
- 2:06Speaker 3: day in the studio, T Bob woul hide under the
- 2:08Speaker 3: desk basically.
- 2:11Speaker 4: But I do like it. I like it.
- 2:12Speaker 6: I like a good old fashioned argument. I like a
- 2:14Speaker 6: good old fashioned stir the pot situation.
- 2:16Speaker 3: You're yeah, you're more of a pot stir than actual
- 2:19Speaker 3: like the person started the argument.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I love stirring.
- 2:21Speaker 7: They set it on fire and watch it burn.
- 2:24Speaker 6: But yeah, I like to just throw something in there
- 2:26Speaker 6: and really make somebody mad and then watch them kind
- 2:29Speaker 6: of like the day while I was talking to T
- 2:31Speaker 6: Bob about maybe you shouldn't use oh, he got it
- 2:38Speaker 6: for you, mad.
- 2:40Speaker 1: For the most triggered I've ever seen.
- 2:44Speaker 4: I said, I said one thing to him. It was
- 2:46Speaker 4: a beautiful. It was a beautiful I said one sentence,
- 2:49Speaker 4: and I just sat back and smiled.
- 2:50Speaker 8: Full segment of him just triggered, like you rage baited him.
- 2:55Speaker 4: He texted that night apology.
- 2:58Speaker 9: Of course he did.
- 2:59Speaker 10: He He's always like anytime he did anything, like when
- 3:04Speaker 10: we first started, like when we first started, like I
- 3:07Speaker 10: would go to make a point and he would talk
- 3:09Speaker 10: over me, which God love him, that's just t Bob.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Like it never got better, it always stayed the same.
- 3:15Speaker 3: But I remember the first apology text I got. It
- 3:17Speaker 3: was like three books, like it was the longest text
- 3:20Speaker 3: you could ever imagine, all about him speaking over what
- 3:23Speaker 3: my point was going to be. And I'm like, my guy,
- 3:27Speaker 3: I'm good, yeah, like you're you know, you're the captain.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm over there in the co pilot's see you do
- 3:33Speaker 3: you if it gets to a point where I'm upset,
- 3:35Speaker 3: Trust me when I say I'll be the first let
- 3:37Speaker 3: you know.
- 3:40Speaker 6: When he sent me that apology letter about the text,
- 3:44Speaker 6: I was like, but I'm the one that should apologize
- 3:46Speaker 6: to you.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I did that to you on purpose.
- 3:50Speaker 9: Why are you apologizing to me?
- 3:53Speaker 6: It was a very targeted one sentence. I told you
- 3:57Speaker 6: at the end you said something to.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I think it was that was it after the Army
- 4:01Speaker 3: l s U game where he said after troops.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I don't think it was year.
- 4:06Speaker 9: There was something every week.
- 4:07Speaker 5: I think we need to put up a pole.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Which is worse Taylor's Army Navy take or tea Bop
- 4:11Speaker 3: saying after troops, y'all are gonna.
- 4:15Speaker 7: Think it's not even close. I just said the game was,
- 4:18Speaker 7: you know, which is basically you said it.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Was overrated, useless, no point, and all those things about it.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Because all those people on the field are troops. I'm
- 4:28Speaker 3: gonna go serve our country, even ones like the quarterback
- 4:34Speaker 3: Daily who could have played at the next level. He
- 4:39Speaker 3: had multiple invites to go to camp. He said, I'd
- 4:42Speaker 3: rather serve my country. He's actually gonna be a uh
- 4:46Speaker 3: he's gonna be a pilot.
- 4:47Speaker 4: In the Navy.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Thank you all everybody listening serves and is serving.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Thank you for your service, and the families, thank you
- 4:58Speaker 4: for your service.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Thank you for doing that because Taylor wouldn't.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Taylor, I sent you that.
- 5:02Speaker 6: I sent you all that screenshot of while I was
- 5:04Speaker 6: talking to chat GPT. How many I was talking question,
- 5:09Speaker 6: how many service members who have played in that game
- 5:12Speaker 6: have Yeah, given that ultimate second, and there's countless throughout
- 5:17Speaker 6: the history of that game.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Yeah, man shut out to them, and Taylor.
- 5:21Speaker 8: Just that was condescending that very I can.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I can good for him.
- 5:27Speaker 5: They still suck.
- 5:29Speaker 4: That's what I took from that.
- 5:30Speaker 7: That's that's wild that that's what you talk were.
- 5:33Speaker 8: They gave their lives up and let me tell y'all, Linney, honey,
- 5:41Speaker 8: oh my god, I forgot about that video until.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You just did that.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Nobody that was so good.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Nobody should talk anything about Army Navy good or bad
- 5:50Speaker 3: until they go like when you go, I'm just telling
- 5:55Speaker 3: you can't.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I'm just trying to help Taylor a little bit.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I told you it is. That's a good football game.
- 6:01Speaker 3: If so, even it's the crowds, it's incredible. Well, I'm
- 6:06Speaker 3: trying to I'm trying to see if we can get
- 6:08Speaker 3: that done because there's some events that you know, we
- 6:12Speaker 3: get a chance to go to throughout the year and
- 6:15Speaker 3: I would be okay giving up something to get that.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And we've talked about that, which Matt's been really good
- 6:22Speaker 3: about listening to where we want to go and what
- 6:25Speaker 3: we want to do. It'd be a quick it'd be
- 6:28Speaker 3: a pretty cost effective trip. It's in New York this year,
- 6:32Speaker 3: so New Orleans and New York flights nothing.
- 6:35Speaker 5: U S S S A. I think that's who's fine.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I think they take care like of like the media
- 6:43Speaker 3: like you've never seen before.
- 6:45Speaker 1: With the bank.
- 6:47Speaker 5: I think I said, you triple the baseball U S A. Yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 5: they take care.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Of everything with the Great Bank.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Yeah, there's no branches here, but like they make it
- 6:58Speaker 8: easier to anyway.
- 7:01Speaker 5: They they literally my dad.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Do you listen?
- 7:06Speaker 3: Well wait, that's he was the one that said he'd
- 7:08Speaker 3: fight Taylor because of what he said.
- 7:11Speaker 5: He said, yeah, yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 3: They they like they literally like roll out the red
- 7:19Speaker 3: carbon for media. It's incredible we're doing.
- 7:21Speaker 1: We should go.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I was in December, November.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Christmas in New York. I was actually family.
- 7:28Speaker 6: I was actually talking to a group a company that
- 7:32Speaker 6: does like hospitality events and talking about doing a my
- 7:36Speaker 6: sponsor in one of the hospital events at that game.
- 7:39Speaker 1: So that'd be awesome.
- 7:40Speaker 4: We could have like a little activation there because we
- 7:42Speaker 4: do Americans. Taylor is the military as you've got us covered.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Oh, we talked to the Army West Pointetitian yesterday for
- 7:51Speaker 6: the football team.
- 7:53Speaker 4: How we're looking strong, White Trump, We have a chance.
- 7:57Speaker 8: Don't tell him that Taylor's trying to cancel his game
- 8:00Speaker 8: because I didn't.
- 8:02Speaker 11: Man, I didn't even say, I just told you. That's
- 8:15Speaker 11: how the segment started. Can we play some other games
- 8:19Speaker 11: on that day?
- 8:20Speaker 4: To like me, why do we even need an army?
- 8:29Speaker 5: The only the only thing that's gonna be tricky.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Last year, Louisiana had their state championship games during Army
- 8:36Speaker 3: Navy weekend. That's why I didn't go, because I remember
- 8:38Speaker 3: that in case you had made it of they lost
- 8:41Speaker 3: in overtime.
- 8:42Speaker 4: So I just checked.
- 8:44Speaker 9: It's December twelfth this year.
- 8:45Speaker 5: I forgot how they how they st Charles won that
- 8:47Speaker 5: game against Shaw and so.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I just brought that up.
- 8:49Speaker 9: Oh yeah, that.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that was awful.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I feel bad for that kid anyway, Sorry, what.
- 8:56Speaker 9: It's It's December twelfth this year, Army Navy.
- 8:59Speaker 5: So it's that usually around state jam.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Yeah, because because I think I think state championships like
- 9:03Speaker 7: first or second weekend of December.
- 9:05Speaker 9: The tripod somewhere in there.
- 9:07Speaker 4: It goes. So I how ad they looking yesterday? The scrimmage?
- 9:10Speaker 4: You get some scouting in the Army Navy game, Frich
- 9:14Speaker 4: Martin taking the boys of state hope.
- 9:17Speaker 5: So I want one of my sons to at least
- 9:21Speaker 5: get one.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah wait, private school championship right.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Oh yeah, let's don't start that yesterday. Boy, we had
- 9:28Speaker 5: a bait.
- 9:29Speaker 4: It makes sense because the high school something makes sense.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I did, No, I didn't.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Not real upset when you say, what kind of school
- 9:38Speaker 5: your kids go to.
- 9:38Speaker 9: Yeah, it shouldn't have been an art I don't want
- 9:40Speaker 9: to bring that back up.
- 9:41Speaker 12: Did they here?
- 9:41Speaker 4: We get up set?
- 9:42Speaker 3: Hey?
- 9:43Speaker 4: What does that mean?
- 9:44Speaker 5: It does?
- 9:44Speaker 4: Don't don't Who gets upset?
- 9:48Speaker 13: Well?
- 9:48Speaker 4: They I've never heard anybody get upset?
- 9:51Speaker 5: Well, privately, what's a private school? What's a public school?
- 9:54Speaker 5: There's magnet schools, there's lab schools.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yeah, what is what is you high?
- 10:01Speaker 6: It's a laboratory school, public school? Okay, because you also
- 10:06Speaker 6: spend money, right, it's just like so is.
- 10:09Speaker 5: LSU a private college?
- 10:11Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 10:13Speaker 3: If you don't know that, we're in bigger trouble than
- 10:15Speaker 3: I think. It's a state university.
- 10:18Speaker 4: It's a university high school.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Do you pay tuition to go though?
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yeah, same thing like you do. You're talking down to
- 10:24Speaker 4: me right now, but like it's that's a college, it's
- 10:26Speaker 4: not high school.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Well, if you'd stay with me, okay, all right, your
- 10:31Speaker 3: kids go to a private school. Yeah, so you pay
- 10:36Speaker 3: a small tuition to go to the laboratory school. It's
- 10:38Speaker 3: a lab school, and you just like you do for LSU,
- 10:42Speaker 3: like you pay for certain things to get funded.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Okay, so state funded? The lab school is state.
- 10:48Speaker 8: Fund Yeah, and it's part it is state fund city funded,
- 10:50Speaker 8: state funds. It does receive some state funds and it's
- 10:53Speaker 8: part of the LSU system. Are but okay, and like
- 10:57Speaker 8: I get like if you're thinking in the traditional sense,
- 10:59Speaker 8: like sure, maybe you can like it's semantics, like it
- 11:03Speaker 8: really is, like it is definitively a public school. And
- 11:06Speaker 8: because it's part of the LSU system, LSU can charge
- 11:09Speaker 8: tuition for it.
- 11:11Speaker 4: But so it's a hybrid.
- 11:12Speaker 8: Yeah, I think hybrid is probably the best way. Or
- 11:15Speaker 8: a lab or a mat yeah, charter, yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 9: Yeah, because we were talking about else. It's not the
- 11:20Speaker 9: only one.
- 11:20Speaker 7: I mean, Southern lab Scolarville is a magnet, Liberty is
- 11:24Speaker 7: a magnet.
- 11:28Speaker 4: But anyway, all right, just catching up.
- 11:31Speaker 9: Guess yeah, it was a time yesterday.
- 11:35Speaker 4: It triggered a couple of people.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Oh man, no, no, no, no, people were triggered on
- 11:40Speaker 1: my Twitter the other day. They were calling me low IQ.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Well IQ, that's strong, I know, right, Well.
- 11:48Speaker 8: That's like the part about it to me, that's like, okay,
- 11:51Speaker 8: you can decide one way or the other, but like,
- 11:53Speaker 8: why are you being so mad about it?
- 11:55Speaker 3: And my point was like it didn't matter, like if
- 11:57Speaker 3: it's private, if it's private, but it's private school. I
- 11:59Speaker 3: went to private cool all growing up, well not all
- 12:02Speaker 3: growing up after I left sixth grade.
- 12:06Speaker 4: I don't understand. I just want everybody to get an education,
- 12:14Speaker 4: stay in school, don't do drugs.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Drugs are bad from still seems good, man, So you
- 12:20Speaker 5: got stay cool, stay clean.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Okay, just say no, say what say no?
- 12:29Speaker 5: Anybody remember dare, raise your hand, thank you. Listen to
- 12:34Speaker 5: that dog.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Wear the shirt?
- 12:41Speaker 3: All right, I look, today's gonna be more of this.
- 12:43Speaker 3: It's been this all day. It's what's gonna be. Okay,
- 12:45Speaker 3: Look ls's playing the game today. TBA is pitching for
- 12:48Speaker 3: LSU BBA.
- 12:49Speaker 4: All right, he's pretty good. Do you think we're gonna
- 12:52Speaker 4: wear We're gonna sweeps. Let's only talk about it, gentlemen.
- 12:55Speaker 5: I'm just worried about this pitch going from the mound
- 12:58Speaker 5: to the catcher right now.
- 12:58Speaker 4: You're soeting nervous right now.
- 13:00Speaker 5: It's not even a nervous like how many people.
- 13:04Speaker 3: It's I will get ridiculed by my nine new baseball
- 13:07Speaker 3: team that helped coach if I don't throw this over
- 13:09Speaker 3: the plate. That's what I'm worried about, not any of you,
- 13:13Speaker 3: not the internet. Nine baseball team.
- 13:19Speaker 4: No, that's that's a lot.
- 13:23Speaker 5: We're supposed to do it together. So if you messed up,
- 13:27Speaker 5: I was just gonna like, yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 6: I would do it. I'd be nervous as well. I'd
- 13:33Speaker 6: love to do it though, but man, hut going flat Fisher,
- 13:38Speaker 6: that's some trap.
- 13:39Speaker 4: It's gonna be awesome. It's gonna be awesome. I'm jealous.

- 18:45Speaker 7: She's a rich Man by Luke Comes that's on this
- 18:47Speaker 7: brand new album. We have a John Anderson playlist.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Like just full playlist, Well done, sir.
- 18:53Speaker 9: We have an Alex Warren playlist who I love. We
- 18:57Speaker 9: have an Eric Church playlist and then and tracks.
- 19:01Speaker 13: If I didn't have you, Randy Travis, Okay, shout out
- 19:04Speaker 13: Tory Travis.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'm unfamiliar with Alex Warren. I've never heard that.
- 19:11Speaker 7: The guy before Luke Combs, Johnny and John Anderson. You've
- 19:15Speaker 7: heard John straight and Straight and.
- 19:20Speaker 9: Alex ordinary.
- 19:25Speaker 4: It was big like last year. All right, Hey, why
- 19:27Speaker 4: does Chaboozy hate over there?
- 19:29Speaker 5: And Jason Dela know, they just were funny.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Like Jason, what you say is like I always think
- 19:38Speaker 1: of the O C and what you say and then
- 19:44Speaker 1: I think of the s n L skut where they
- 19:46Speaker 1: like made fun of that and Chaboozi. Like I just
- 19:49Speaker 1: I just personally am not like a fan.
- 19:54Speaker 9: That's Matt.
- 19:54Speaker 1: That was Matt they I mean, I'm not hating, it's
- 19:58Speaker 1: just they kid.
- 20:00Speaker 4: We like to We like the mart House dance. Well
- 20:03Speaker 4: we did now it's good News, Okay. We like to
- 20:05Speaker 4: dance around the house though mhmm, nobody's watching, like no.
- 20:10Speaker 1: One's watching.
- 20:13Speaker 8: By every single one of you. A sign that says
- 20:17Speaker 8: all of those things and you'll better hang it up.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Is a good song. I think.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I don't think I've heard it one for each other.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I like that idea, I really do.
- 20:30Speaker 4: We should play good News after this. Okay, it's good song.
- 20:33Speaker 4: It's a real toe tapper.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Don't know what that is.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'll try it you.
- 20:38Speaker 9: We played on We played on Tiger all the time.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I am very musically open but like, if I don't
- 20:42Speaker 1: like something, I'm not going to pretend like I do.
- 20:46Speaker 8: Like rock because we know you could hear it in
- 20:48Speaker 8: your Yeah, I'm looking at the playlist and like it's
- 20:50Speaker 8: I don't think it's my vibe besides.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Maybe the suffs pretty.
- 20:55Speaker 7: I'm gonna to listen to it one just to see,
- 20:57Speaker 7: like what band classifies and who doesn't.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I mean, it's a feeling, it's a vibe.
- 21:02Speaker 9: Yeah, you can't.
- 21:03Speaker 4: I don't think you could put your finger on it.
- 21:04Speaker 1: No, I don't think you can because there's a lot
- 21:06Speaker 1: of random stuff on here.
- 21:08Speaker 4: But you'd listen to it on a yacht, then you'd
- 21:11Speaker 4: rock out.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Yea, there's a thing I've been on a pontoon mm hmm.
- 21:17Speaker 4: You could do that pon.
- 21:22Speaker 7: You need to add that one, Matt, mm hmm, A
- 21:25Speaker 7: little big talent to your life.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I like the little big town.
- 21:30Speaker 4: I saw a little big town in concert. Nice quaint
- 21:33Speaker 4: little setting.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Too, Like I do like just the two of us.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I like that there's someone here that I do like.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But Bill Withers, Yeah, Bill Withers. Lovely Days on here too.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I tried it so on on NFL, we have
- 21:48Speaker 3: Motown Wednesdays, and I was like, can we probably like
- 21:50Speaker 3: Bill Withers, like he's not technically motown, like yeah, but
- 21:53Speaker 3: he's like adjacent, right. They wouldn't do it. They stick
- 21:56Speaker 3: to the gotta be the theme, which I can appreciate.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Today though, Today's Elvis Thursday, so it's a big day
- 22:04Speaker 3: for you.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Not a lot of listeners on Thursday.
- 22:07Speaker 8: We only have two theme days here because I don't
- 22:09Speaker 8: like to change myself to a certain thing.
- 22:13Speaker 5: We have eight well we have eighties.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah that I'm saying we have We have Tuesday and Wednesday, and.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Those are winners. Yeah, those are those are weekly winners, right.
- 22:20Speaker 7: I like that though, because like you were throwing out
- 22:22Speaker 7: a song like let's play this next, like with the theme,
- 22:24Speaker 7: like she's saying, I get that.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Like that. I gotta say the curated playlist for today
- 22:29Speaker 4: has been pretty good. Yeah. When was the last time y'all?
- 22:31Speaker 6: Like, so, Landra, you're I think you're an out wire,
- 22:33Speaker 6: okay in my opinion to curating your own playlist.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I used to do it.
- 22:39Speaker 6: It was one of those things where I would sit
- 22:40Speaker 6: down and it's like my favorite time on it. Yeah,
- 22:43Speaker 6: and you and you name them and it's different feels,
- 22:46Speaker 6: so you do your own. It's interesting.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I like a road trip playlist too.
- 22:52Speaker 3: All right, then I'm the outlier that like the year that,
- 22:56Speaker 3: like the year that Usher did the super Bowl, Like
- 22:58Speaker 3: I have super Bowl playlist and it's nothing, but.
- 23:01Speaker 9: Oh that's cool.
- 23:02Speaker 5: When was that when I was going two year years
- 23:04Speaker 5: ago in Vegas?
- 23:05Speaker 3: So like when I was going to that super Bowl
- 23:07Speaker 3: or three years ago now, I guess like I was
- 23:09Speaker 3: getting ready, So I made a super Bowl playlist for
- 23:11Speaker 3: the plane ride.
- 23:12Speaker 7: Like I'm like at gym, workout playlist and go through
- 23:15Speaker 7: and then like literally it's going riding around.
- 23:17Speaker 9: If driving that's it. Though I don't do like a
- 23:19Speaker 9: ton of.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It's just a running emotion and just.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Type in like what I'm doing. So like if I'm
- 23:24Speaker 4: cooking in the kitchen and it's Thursday, I'm like cooking
- 23:28Speaker 4: in the kitchen on Thursday, and like ten playlists pop up.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 23:32Speaker 8: So the reason I had asked earlier, like I had
- 23:36Speaker 8: asked my cousin, do you like Apple Music or Spotify better,
- 23:39Speaker 8: is because like people keep telling me about Spotify, right,
- 23:41Speaker 8: and I'm an Apple Music Like I use Apple Music too,
- 23:44Speaker 8: So I was like, let me try Spotify for like
- 23:46Speaker 8: a week, run a little experiment, see which one I
- 23:50Speaker 8: end up liking better, and I think, like I'm I'm
- 23:53Speaker 8: a few days into it, and I think that the
- 23:55Speaker 8: conclusion that I've come to is that I like Apple
- 23:58Speaker 8: Music as like user interface, Like I like that better
- 24:03Speaker 8: and it's more organized to me than like a Spotify
- 24:06Speaker 8: playlist or a Spotify library is because I can't just
- 24:10Speaker 8: go to the songs and just shuffle the songs right
- 24:12Speaker 8: like I have to go to like an artist, I
- 24:13Speaker 8: have to go to a playlist.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I have to do something, but like I do.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Like.
- 24:19Speaker 8: Spotify is like AI usage more than like because Apple
- 24:23Speaker 8: doesn't do the day lists, and I like the little
- 24:26Speaker 8: day list.
- 24:26Speaker 4: I don't like about Apple.
- 24:28Speaker 6: So my wife uses Apple and when I played on
- 24:30Speaker 6: her phone, like I just choose a song, like I
- 24:32Speaker 6: look up a song I want to hear, and I
- 24:33Speaker 6: play it and it gets and it's over.
- 24:36Speaker 4: It repeats the song.
- 24:37Speaker 1: You can change that.
- 24:38Speaker 4: On Spotify, it just plays another similar type song.
- 24:41Speaker 8: Apple Music does that you have to change it. Change Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 8: mine like I because I'll do that. Remember like when
- 24:47Speaker 8: we were in Senier Bowl, I'm like, this is the
- 24:49Speaker 8: Florence in the Machine radio. And it's because I'll play
- 24:53Speaker 8: like one Florence in the Machine song and then the
- 24:55Speaker 8: rest is like similar genres like.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Apple put like together like replay all time. So the
- 25:02Speaker 3: songs you've played the yes, yeah, it'll be in your
- 25:05Speaker 3: ass music history. It's got a hundred songs and it's
- 25:08Speaker 3: put them all together for you and you can just
- 25:09Speaker 3: shuffle that.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Spotify.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I like both fine. I like AI usage on Spotify.
- 25:17Speaker 6: More though I don't care enough to like argue Spotify Apple.
- 25:21Speaker 6: I don't like Spotify is a pain in the ass
- 25:24Speaker 6: on trying to set up a family account.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Yeah, so like you know how you do like.
- 25:28Speaker 5: All my individual Spotify accounts. So yeah, so you each have.
- 25:33Speaker 9: One editorial we don't we don't share one.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:36Speaker 6: I upgraded my Spotify from like whatever paid to like twenty,
- 25:39Speaker 6: Like I upgraded and paid more per month to do
- 25:42Speaker 6: a family because you can do up to like ten
- 25:43Speaker 6: users or whatever.
- 25:44Speaker 4: It is.
- 25:45Speaker 6: Figuring it'd be similar to like Netflix. You go to
- 25:48Speaker 6: Netflix and everybody's got their name. You click the button
- 25:50Speaker 6: because I wanted I didn't want Hucks, you know, Hucks
- 25:53Speaker 6: music on everybody else because he's got his own playlist.
- 25:57Speaker 4: But it was like, no to set it up.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Every person has to their own email address, and I'm like, well,
- 26:02Speaker 6: my three year old doesn't have an email address. She's
- 26:03Speaker 6: got no reason to have an email address, right, I
- 26:05Speaker 6: don't want to set up a fake email address. It
- 26:08Speaker 6: was a pain in the rear and eventually I just
- 26:10Speaker 6: canceled it and we still all use the same That's
- 26:12Speaker 6: when my wife started using Apple Music as well.
- 26:15Speaker 4: So like I might make the switch just because of that.
- 26:18Speaker 4: It seems like so it seems so easy to do
- 26:22Speaker 4: something so simple.
- 26:23Speaker 8: I also feel like maybe this is just because I
- 26:26Speaker 8: sit and listen to audio all day, Like I feel
- 26:28Speaker 8: like the audio on Apple Music is better than Spotify,
- 26:32Speaker 8: like the.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Listening experience, like like it sounds about it.
- 26:35Speaker 8: I think so like they had the lossless Apple has
- 26:38Speaker 8: like the lossless Yeah me that they I don't know,
- 26:41Speaker 8: Like it's.
- 26:43Speaker 4: Alright, neruff, I don't care. I'll switch right now.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I'm not like, I'm not like bullheaded
- 26:51Speaker 1: about me.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to plaist.
- 26:54Speaker 1: It's just personal preference.
- 26:55Speaker 5: We'll take a break.
- 26:57Speaker 3: In the chef Michael Johnson answer your MUNCHI Rusians when
- 27:00Speaker 3: we come back here.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Oh no, TV off the bench.
- 27:05Speaker 12: Ain't bomb loving, just ca drown my songs, but they
- 27:12Speaker 12: learned to swim. Oh what the hell, let me hear
- 27:17Speaker 12: let's speak. It didn't a bottle for my heart any case?
- 27:26Speaker 4: Was this?
- 27:29Speaker 1: This is good news by Shaboozy.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Okay, he's about to tell you.
- 27:37Speaker 9: It's about That's what's the good news, man, Yeah.
- 27:40Speaker 4: He's about to tell you. Send me sipping. I can
- 27:46Speaker 4: see it. Team playing dance party in the house.
- 27:51Speaker 5: All right, we have, Chef.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I do love that. It makes you so happy.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Yeah, we do have I'm sorry, Chef, Sorry we made
- 27:58Speaker 5: you listen to Shaboozie. What's up, Chef?
- 28:01Speaker 4: How are we doing? Brother? Have we living?
- 28:03Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 28:06Speaker 5: I don't even know what a shaboozie is.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Jeff, you rested up or what?
- 28:11Speaker 12: Uh?
- 28:11Speaker 14: Well, I'm actually sitting at the house on my porch
- 28:13Speaker 14: right now. Yeah, I'm resting today.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Uh there, right?
- 28:20Speaker 6: Forgot Chef was hard to work, very hard to work,
- 28:24Speaker 6: and well worth well worth it too.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Incredible spread the other night. Thank you.
- 28:30Speaker 14: That was a fun evening.
- 28:32Speaker 5: I gave everybody early I mean you, I mean it
- 28:35Speaker 5: was a lot. That's what it sounds like.
- 28:39Speaker 6: I did, Chef. I gave everybody the rundown of that
- 28:41Speaker 6: awesome organization. Yeah, kind of what y'all did and talked about.
- 28:45Speaker 6: And it was it was very cool, very cool to
- 28:47Speaker 6: see all the performance chefs from all over the country
- 28:51Speaker 6: coming meeting together. So it was it was awesome and
- 28:53Speaker 6: I appreciate you you invite me to be involved.
- 28:55Speaker 14: Yeah, thank you for being there. Man, it was cool.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Chef did now be honest with us? Did our boy
- 29:03Speaker 3: handle his business or did he embarrass us?
- 29:06Speaker 4: No?
- 29:07Speaker 14: Man, you know, he was like the talk of the town.
- 29:09Speaker 4: I mean I.
- 29:11Speaker 14: Saw some grown men turn into fourteen year old girls like, oh.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Yeah I did. Actually, the chef from Baylor actually came
- 29:21Speaker 4: up to me at the dinner and it was like, dude,
- 29:24Speaker 4: I didn't realize you're the my high guy.
- 29:27Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
- 29:30Speaker 14: So the chef from Baylor used to be one of
- 29:32Speaker 14: my sous chefs, and I we yah, yeah, good guy,
- 29:35Speaker 14: great heart. You know, he actually was struggling a little
- 29:38Speaker 14: bit with his job out there, and I introduced him.
- 29:41Speaker 14: You know, when you put those people together like that,
- 29:44Speaker 14: and any in any I think genre or profession, you
- 29:47Speaker 14: know good things are going to come of it. And
- 29:50Speaker 14: this gentleman walked up to me after my panel and
- 29:52Speaker 14: was talking to me about how you know, he enjoyed
- 29:55Speaker 14: what I was talking about. You know, God came up
- 29:59Speaker 14: a little bit and and he asked me, you know,
- 30:01Speaker 14: if I had any chefs that were looking for work
- 30:03Speaker 14: in Texas, you know, to give him a holler. And
- 30:06Speaker 14: I was like a matter of fact, matter of fact,
- 30:09Speaker 14: I got a guy, and so I connected the two
- 30:12Speaker 14: of them, and I think my I think my buddy
- 30:14Speaker 14: from Baylor is doing some work for the Houston Texans
- 30:18Speaker 14: right now.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Awesome. Exactly.
- 30:22Speaker 14: Yeah, that's right, chef.
- 30:25Speaker 3: This one's from me before we get to our monkey
- 30:28Speaker 3: questions inside the chat. We've been using a lot of
- 30:31Speaker 3: cottage cheese lately and I love it. I love it
- 30:33Speaker 3: on like everything, man, I can I can add Like
- 30:36Speaker 3: yesterday alone, I think I added it to a baked potato.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I had some chili and I didn't have any shredded cheese.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I said, why not say some cottage cheese in there.
- 30:45Speaker 3: And it was like a mix of cheese and sour cream.
- 30:48Speaker 4: It was perfect.
- 30:49Speaker 5: I have been all on it for you. I know
- 30:51Speaker 5: you love cottage cheese as well. What is your favorite thing.
- 30:54Speaker 4: To add it to.
- 30:57Speaker 14: You know, I typically, well, Lasania is one of them,
- 31:00Speaker 14: and I think you know a lot of people put
- 31:02Speaker 14: ricotta in lasagna. And I'm a cottage cheese guy, but
- 31:06Speaker 14: I put cottage cheese and wraps like a sandwich trap.
- 31:09Speaker 14: I'll put it in with my with my meat and
- 31:11Speaker 14: lettuce and cheese and well minus the cheese. You know,
- 31:16Speaker 14: there's such a thing as too too much cheese. But
- 31:19Speaker 14: you know, I mean, gosh, I'll put it in all
- 31:22Speaker 14: kinds of stuff. You know, it's a pasta, sauce, even
- 31:24Speaker 14: sometimes jake, you know, like instead of using cream, I
- 31:27Speaker 14: might put some cottage cheese in my bologniets. And I
- 31:31Speaker 14: don't know, you know, like people are probably rolling their eyes,
- 31:34Speaker 14: thinking what's going on here right now? But I grew
- 31:38Speaker 14: up on cottage cheese. My grandma used to feed it
- 31:40Speaker 14: to us, and I don't I don't remember that the type.
- 31:44Speaker 14: But I had this like little like horse drawn carriage
- 31:49Speaker 14: on it, and you can't find it anymore, right, But
- 31:53Speaker 14: that was the best cottage cheese I've ever had in
- 31:55Speaker 14: my life. And it's really difficult to find.
- 31:58Speaker 3: And we've always heard like it's it's a you know,
- 32:01Speaker 3: a good thing for you like eating cottage cheese. Like
- 32:03Speaker 3: if you're trying to like lose weight, you're trying to
- 32:05Speaker 3: eat healthy, you're trying to clean some things up.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Like, yeah, it's also something that's healthy for you as well, right,
- 32:10Speaker 5: that's right.
- 32:10Speaker 14: And it's it's loaded with protein, right, so yeah, it's
- 32:14Speaker 14: I mean it has health benefits. I mean, you know,
- 32:17Speaker 14: cheese has spat in it, of course, but so long
- 32:19Speaker 14: as you're burning it and you're not you know, sitting
- 32:22Speaker 14: and storing it, you know, it definitely has health benefits
- 32:26Speaker 14: for sure.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Chef, what's like the dumbest term that you hear when
- 32:31Speaker 6: you come out of like big food industry, Like when
- 32:34Speaker 6: you hear I don't know, all natural gluten whatever. Like,
- 32:37Speaker 6: what's like the dumbest term you hear from a chef's perspective.
- 32:41Speaker 14: I think it's diet, you know what I mean? Like,
- 32:44Speaker 14: but you know, you hear you're people with all these
- 32:47Speaker 14: different diets, these different spad diets and diets on Instagram,
- 32:51Speaker 14: and you know, like the idea of going on a
- 32:55Speaker 14: diet means that you're coming off of a diet and
- 32:58Speaker 14: there's going to be a rebound to that, right, Like
- 33:01Speaker 14: you don't go on a diet, you change your habits, right,
- 33:04Speaker 14: and we there was a guy there that was talking
- 33:06Speaker 14: about that was it was Oys Gracy. Oys Gracy was
- 33:09Speaker 14: talking about, you know, establishing good habits and maintaining those habits.
- 33:13Speaker 14: And you know, I think that I think the idea,
- 33:15Speaker 14: you know, our diet is what we eat. That's the diet.
- 33:18Speaker 14: Where that's the diet we're on. You know, you don't
- 33:21Speaker 14: go on a diet, change what you eat and create
- 33:24Speaker 14: healthy eating habits. So I don't know that that that
- 33:27Speaker 14: that whole idea of going on to die is kind
- 33:29Speaker 14: of this kind of makes my eyes roll a little bit.
- 33:33Speaker 3: All right, chef, this one's a little inside baseball here,
- 33:36Speaker 3: hashtag munchies. Would you ever cancel an ot B appearance
- 33:39Speaker 3: and then have a segment on a fr the next week?
- 33:45Speaker 14: Probably not. I love my people on OTV. I'm a
- 33:49Speaker 14: little guy.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Oh loyal. Yeah that's right.
- 33:52Speaker 4: I love you too, chef.
- 33:54Speaker 14: You know what, But not to dcgress too far here.
- 33:57Speaker 14: But there's another this, you know, like whack you hot out.
- 34:00Speaker 14: Just another thing that makes my eyes roll.
- 34:02Speaker 4: That's just you know, I watched Church up a hot dog.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Get it, glzzy.
- 34:08Speaker 6: You know, I think there was a there at the
- 34:12Speaker 6: F one race in Miami. We looked it up last
- 34:13Speaker 6: There's one hundred and fifty dollars hot dog being served there.
- 34:15Speaker 6: It's got wag you hot dog with caviar on it.
- 34:18Speaker 14: Yeah, drinding up WYU beef into an emulsion and then
- 34:21Speaker 14: serving it.
- 34:25Speaker 6: Chef, do you is there any y'all might have talked
- 34:28Speaker 6: about this before, kind of predating me before.
- 34:30Speaker 4: It seems like a good question for you.
- 34:33Speaker 6: It's are there any TV chefs that you respect out
- 34:36Speaker 6: there that are like man that that guy that really
- 34:38Speaker 6: knows what he's doing or are they just good TV personalities?
- 34:41Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:42Speaker 14: Well there's two that come to mind. Couple actually that
- 34:44Speaker 14: come to mind. So back in the day when I
- 34:47Speaker 14: was a kid, they had this guy named it was
- 34:49Speaker 14: called Yan Can Cook. And this is straight up from
- 34:52Speaker 14: late seventies, early eighties, and Yan can't cook. That guy
- 34:55Speaker 14: would He could close his eyes and chop food faster
- 34:58Speaker 14: than you can blink. And Yank, Yank can't cook. It
- 35:01Speaker 14: was the nice skills. But Jacques Pepin, as far as
- 35:05Speaker 14: the chef is concerned, Jacque Papin has done some TV
- 35:08Speaker 14: shows and he's just a really meek, you know, kind
- 35:12Speaker 14: of humble chef. That is extraordinary what he does. He
- 35:16Speaker 14: makes beautiful, beautiful French food. And you know, his his
- 35:20Speaker 14: personality isn't boisterous, it's not drama, it's not over the board,
- 35:24Speaker 14: it's not you know, it doesn't change when he's on
- 35:27Speaker 14: the TV versus when he's not on the TV. He's
- 35:29Speaker 14: just a genuine guy. And that's what I love about him.
- 35:32Speaker 14: And he teaches too. It's not look at me and
- 35:35Speaker 14: look at what I've done, he's you can do this too, right, right?
- 35:41Speaker 14: So what Jacques what Jacques pepin p E p I N.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 14: Julia Child, you know she was kind of the same
- 35:55Speaker 14: way Julie. I don't know if you guys have seen
- 35:57Speaker 14: the movie Julia, but it's a movie of about her,
- 36:00Speaker 14: right and and she was like an intelligence officer in
- 36:04Speaker 14: the military for the for the Her Majesty's I don't know,
- 36:08Speaker 14: Royal Navy or something. I don't I don't remember what
- 36:10Speaker 14: branch it was, but extraordinarily intelligent woman and she loved
- 36:15Speaker 14: to cook. And I think that just kind of pays
- 36:18Speaker 14: attribute to anybody. You know, you can be anybody and
- 36:21Speaker 14: enjoy and love food. And she really was better known
- 36:26Speaker 14: for her you know working food than she was what
- 36:30Speaker 14: her work.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Was and yeah, hey chef.
- 36:33Speaker 6: So the event earlier this week that was that that
- 36:35Speaker 6: was at Noochi, which is the New Orleans Culinary Hospitality Institution. So, like,
- 36:40Speaker 6: what point during like what point in like culinary school
- 36:46Speaker 6: do you start learning those knife skills? Like yeah, like
- 36:48Speaker 6: when do you like speed it up and they teach
- 36:50Speaker 6: you how to like be really good with a knife,
- 36:52Speaker 6: don't put a knife in your hand.
- 36:53Speaker 14: Yeah, nice skills starts straight off the bat. I mean
- 36:57Speaker 14: the first thing that the first thing you do is
- 36:59Speaker 14: get your knife. So nice skills is one of the
- 37:03Speaker 14: first classes that you take. I mean you don't want
- 37:06Speaker 14: to send you don't because there in culinary school there's
- 37:09Speaker 14: the classroom piece and then there's the practical piece where
- 37:13Speaker 14: you actually go into the kitchen and cook. And so
- 37:15Speaker 14: you'll learn nice skills in the classroom and do like
- 37:19Speaker 14: practicing with potatoes and such, so that when you go
- 37:22Speaker 14: to the kitchen and you're having to use them day
- 37:24Speaker 14: in and day out, you know that that there is
- 37:27Speaker 14: some working knowledge of it, and there's it's a it's
- 37:29Speaker 14: a controlled environment in the classroom, so you can kind
- 37:32Speaker 14: of be where everybody is and evaluate, but I think
- 37:37Speaker 14: beyond that, you know, it's your mentors, that's your peers
- 37:41Speaker 14: that are teaching you different cutting techniques. And you know,
- 37:43Speaker 14: like I kind of taught myself how to cut with
- 37:46Speaker 14: my eyes closed, and it was with purpose. So you know,
- 37:49Speaker 14: when you're looking at what you're cutting, sometimes it's overwhelming,
- 37:53Speaker 14: and when you close your eyes, you're really you know,
- 37:55Speaker 14: it's like they say, a blind man tunes of tunes
- 37:58Speaker 14: of piano best as he relies on he's hearing it
- 38:02Speaker 14: more so. And so it's kind of that same way,
- 38:04Speaker 14: like you're relying on the feel of the knife running
- 38:07Speaker 14: up and down your hand or your fingers if you're
- 38:09Speaker 14: assuming you've placed them correctly, right, and you're more focused
- 38:13Speaker 14: on what you feel versus what you see, because you know,
- 38:16Speaker 14: sometimes your eyes to sieve you and it really adds
- 38:21Speaker 14: to you know, the precision of running the knife.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Thatice a lot of onions and I've never gotten faster.
- 38:29Speaker 14: Yeah, that's a tricky thing though, brother, you know, I
- 38:33Speaker 14: mean they really are, have you. Yeah, that's right. A
- 38:38Speaker 14: dull knife is a dangerous knife.
- 38:39Speaker 12: That's right.
- 38:40Speaker 5: Jeez, Chef.

- 42:55Speaker 3: just don't choke the baseball. When you choke the baseball,
- 42:58Speaker 3: you let go. You don't let the release point happen.
- 43:01Speaker 3: You hold onto it a little too tight, try and
- 43:02Speaker 3: throw it harder.
- 43:03Speaker 5: That's when you spike it. Can't choke.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Oh, you gotta keep a little like when you hold
- 43:07Speaker 4: the football thing. You gotta have daylight between the palm
- 43:09Speaker 4: and the football. You don't want to be touching can squeeze.
- 43:12Speaker 3: The hashtag asked the bench, which city with the four
- 43:15Speaker 3: major sports franchises has the least amount of championships?
- 43:20Speaker 5: Who has gotta be believe it didn't have a hockey team.
- 43:24Speaker 9: I would say Detroit Red Wings actually have Red Wings.
- 43:29Speaker 5: Yeah, they they got a lot.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna say Saint Louis if they had a basketball team,
- 43:33Speaker 3: but they don't anymore. They had the Rams, Miami, no
- 43:38Speaker 3: Dolphins one a lot, and Marlin's actually won too as well.
- 43:42Speaker 3: The heat of what like the three Oakland Golden State
- 43:44Speaker 3: kind of makes up for it. I'm gonna go you, no, Philly's.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Gonna lit Miami.

- 44:00Speaker 1: Got New York.
- 44:01Speaker 8: I guess the Yankees have a bunch, but like not
- 44:03Speaker 8: in recent I'm gonna say Phoenix because they did have
- 44:07Speaker 8: a hockey team they just lost.
- 44:08Speaker 3: I'm want to say Phoenix. Final answer, Sons and d
- 44:10Speaker 3: Backs Cardinals have I'm gonna say Denver. I know the
- 44:17Speaker 3: hockey team moved, but they were there for a While'm

- 44:53Speaker 4: Phoenix? Bitch? Did Taylor's birth pause? Nine to eleven? No?
