[rock music] Still haven't figured out where the good pull-down point for that is.
• 0:25
[laughs] Somewhere in there. Just let her roll. Somewhere less than playing the full, the full thing. Right. Hey, everybody. It's Full Spectrum Cycling. This is show 264. Whoa.
• 0:35
[laughs] It's pretty close to RW 24, kind of. Yeah, yeah. There's just a six in the middle. We did a bunch of math and stuff, maybe. Or 26 four. We're up- You take the outside numbers... we're at 26 four over here.
• 0:46
[laughs] Yeah, you take the outside numbers and add them, and then it's the six that's in the middle. Yeah. So it's like a algebra, but not. Uh, uh, but not. [laughs] I like it, not.
• 0:55
Too much mathing right off the bat on this here show. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like philosophy. Speak, speaking of mathing- It's philosophy. Philosophy, yeah...
• 1:01
on the way here, I was mentioning I was on the way to the podcast and I ran into Lisa at E- Etemorphic. Lisa, Riverwest public house bartender extraordinaire. Former, like, Bloody Mary maker at your house.
• 1:15
The, the, the best Bloody maker, Bloody Mary maker- [laughs] Bloody Mary... in the world. Yeah, just chops people's heads off and stuff. Uh, she probably does that, too, but we don't know. Was she behind the pine there?
• 1:23
No, she was actually- Oh... outside having a beer when I locked up. I locked up to you. Oh, me too. Um, I was watching BMX Bandits before you guys got here. [laughs] And there's- With the Kid Man. With, with... Yeah.
• 1:34
  A, a very Australian-sounding Nicole Kidman. Yep.
• 1:37
But, uh, earlier, early in the show, one of the guys is telling stories, like, about boxes with heads and hands and stuff in it, just trying to scare her and, yeah, she... It's, it's the bloody thing.
• 1:48
I was just trying to- It's coming back around... say it's okay, say them. It's 1985 that movie came out. [laughs] [sighs] Wow. Mm. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
• 1:55
I'm getting full use of my Peacock subscription by watching- Oh, sure, sure... BMX Bandits. I like it. Since the Tour de France is over, I guess they don't have... Did I say this last week? I think it happened...
• 2:09
I don't remember when it happened. Last week. No cobblestone. No, no cobblestones. Um, but, uh, Bob Roll is one of the commentators, and we, uh, and he, uh, was...
• 2:19
They were coming back from a commercial break, and I hear this, "What the fuck?" [laughs] Awesome. [laughs] So they, like, don't have the- Hot mic... they don't have the delay or something.
• 2:29
Apparently, somebody was trying to get into the broadcast booth. Whoa. And it took him a few minutes. He came back, and he was like, "Kinda sorry about that." That's, you know, 'cause he never swears- [laughs]... on air.
• 2:40
You know, it's like, [laughs] it was just like, "Yeah, someone was trying to get into our broadcast position." [laughs] That might me dropping F-bomb once or twice, too, now that I don't swear all the time. Adam, uh, uh,
• 2:52
the tour wrapped up last Sunday, so we've got, uh, Olympics coming up now to look forward to on your three-month Peacock subscription because I think- Uh-huh... I think after this is over and after they play that
• 3:07
football game in São Paulo, we might just send it packing. They already, since I subscribed at the beginning of July, I've already got a $2 price increase coming in August. I'm like, "Huh?"
• 3:19
Uh, you know, just in time for the Olympics or whatever- Yeah... I guess, probably or something. Yeah, I just run across five cycle, cycling races even more intense than the Tour de France. For real? Yeah.
• 3:31
I'm sure- Came across one a month ago... I'm sure there's a lot that are m- maybe more. I mean, Continental Divide sucks. I mean, that'd- Yeah... be a hard one. That's worse than the Tour de France, if you ask me.
• 3:39
Yeah, but it, it doesn't take them very long to do it. It's not like they, you know, it's an, it's only- It's a combination- It's because they're real people. Yeah.
• 3:44
It's a combination of flying a helicopter and riding a mechanical horse of this Victorian era bicycle with an enormous front wheel. Oh. [laughs] Oh, penny- Tie it back there and then saddle it... penny-farthing.
• 3:55
The penny-farthing across the- See-... Continental Divide. [laughs]... the Nuts Fort Route race. Yeah. Yeah, I'll throw that in the show notes. There was one where it's, like, just a short hill. [laughs] Yeah.
• 4:07
And they just like, go straight up the damn thing. They say we had, we had Carol, Carol lurking around the building. I thought she might be trying to break into people's m- rooms or something down there. Probably.
• 4:18
[laughs] Stealing bikes. Carol's joining us again to observe the, uh, festivities here at the old Full Spectrum Cycling. America's short, violent love affair with indoor track cycling.
• 4:28
So, uh, yeah, I'll throw it in the show notes. Yeah, write 'em. Uh, so yeah, the 24, obviously, we talked about it last week with Corey Bowman. Thanks, Corey, for coming on the show, of course.
• 4:38
I've been asked to be on River West Radio. For? For the West 24 and- During the 24? Yeah. They're doing the 24-hour broadcast, more or less somewhat.
• 4:47
Uh, I think there's gonna be some, yeah, on-the-street interviews and things like... Well, we can't talk about this 'cause it's part of the bonus checkpoints, and we're not supposed to talk about bonus checkpoints.
• 4:53
We're not supposed to talk about bonus checkpoints. They don't happen. There's 48 of them, though. That we know.
• 4:58
[laughs] And Corey did give out one last week, which, you know, Corey, I don't know what you brought or what any of the other founders brought, but I showed up with a backpack full of shit, and they had nothing.
• 5:09
[laughs] Did you bring the romper? I, no, I'm wearing the romper. I don't bring my romper. [laughs] It still fits. All right. So you can see it on course, folks. Yeah. I have just edited.
• 5:21
It's really cool how it- Technology... it just pops up right there on my thing. Look at what I did. That's magic- Look what I did... or technology. It got no wires, either. No wires. It's like technology, baby.
• 5:32
Remember wired days? Wow. That was weird. Mm-hmm. Those were fun. They were also more reliable. Right? [laughs] Night and day. Yeah. You know, they wired the RNC. That was v- There was
• 5:45
very little, if any- It's because they're paranoid fucks. Of course they did it... Yeah, it was all wired. Oh, was that out loud voice? [laughs] I dropped 100 bucks at Pensy's. Okay. Why, in the swear jar?
• 5:55
No, the, the- Oh, the, the, the... [laughs]... they were having the benef- They were having all the discounts because of the RNC. And yeah, I, I...
• 6:02
Boy, that's a place you go into, and if you like spices, you're gonna empty your pocket Yeah, I think I related that my stepbrother was married to Pam Penze at some point, didn't I? No. No, I'm not sure. Oh.
• 6:12
That was a long time ago. But, uh- I didn't even know you had a stepbrother Well, yeah. And I mean, my dad passed in 2006 there. Mm. So it's been a long time, but, uh, yeah. Um,
• 6:24
Carol's got her hand [laughs] Carol's got her hand up. Yeah, I just want to say, I, um, I have a, a hand, uh, doctor for an injury, and he is, um, he's a cyclist. He, he rides, oh God, you know, he, he just, a lot.
• 6:40
He, he's, he... And he's doing a trek, 100 and, 250 miles this weekend. So I ta- He didn't know about the, the, uh, you know, the, the 24 or the- Yeah... you know, River West. It's not really a race, that's why.
• 6:55
Well, it's not a race. People that do that don't really do this. No, no, no, no. He's not in it for the race thing of it, you know? And, and he, and I specifically told him it's for fun.
• 7:03
You know, people do it for fun, not for the, you know, competition. Or they can, but it's not- It's a community building event. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. That's what it is. Yeah. So he's all interested, Dr. Wu, Dr. John Wu. Wu.
• 7:16
Wu. And he will be in on the next, next year. It's too late for this year. May first, or, or first Sunday of May registration, Tone. Yes. And I need to get- And-...
• 7:25
information to him in two weeks Yeah, it's a pretty good idea for him to come and volunteer for the, uh- Yeah... this year's event- Yeah... and, uh- Get in... be sure to get in next year. And you can just ride. Right.
• 7:35
Yeah. Or you can just have fun, like I'm gonna do. Yeah. Yeah, me too. I'm going solo. On my team. I'm gonna do my... I'm, I'm doing, I'm gonna keep- Speak-... my thing from last year.
• 7:44
Speak of, uh- 'Cause I couldn't do that, so it's 24 laps- You'll do it. You'll do it... in 24 hours. That's- 24 laps in 24 hours? Yeah.
• 7:50
Speak, speaking of teammates, I, uh, walked Daniel down to Scardina's on Sunday, and Damian and Anthony were walking their dogs. And Anthony's dog is a puppy, and- I've never seen him... very, very puppy.
• 8:05
And he full-on took out Daniel. Like, fortunately Daniel had a helmet on. [laughs] Knocked him down, hit his head. That's how teammates hug. I stand him up. I stand him up. I'm like, "You okay, buddy?"
• 8:15
And no sooner do I stand him up that Reggie, Damian's dog, comes over and is just, like, full-on checking him out, licks him in the eyeball. Daniel wouldn't stop talking until he got home to Molly.
• 8:26
"I got licked in the eyeball." [laughs] "I got licked in the eyeball." Was that, is that the same day he laid down that wicked skid mark? No, that was the day after that. He did...
• 8:33
That was a boss skid mark for a four-year-old. Yeah, it was pretty good. I got a- He was almost off the bike before he finished the slide just so he could look at it I cropped that so we can actually see it too.
• 8:43
[laughs] Nice. It was from, like, eight blocks away or something trying to get the picture. Yeah. It was only six blocks away. Right. [laughs] Via drone.
• 8:50
[laughs] Uh, I'm just gonna finish up this Olympic cycling thing, because it is on for a long time. It's, like, July 27th to August 11th. Mm. On Peacock.
• 9:00
They're not sponsoring us, but they should as often as I mention them. Um- And, you know, and Snoop is gonna be doing a bit of the torch- Mm-hmm... passing. Well, and the break dancing. And commentary.
• 9:09
And break dancing, because now break dancing is a thing in the Olympics. That's wild. Um, so, so- Kind of excited about that...
• 9:16
stuff that you will see if you have Peacock to watch cycling, men's and women's individual time trials, men's and women's mount- I'm not gonna say men's and women's, because there's men's and women's everything.
• 9:26
Uh, individual time trials, mountain biking, BMX freestyle, B-Rad. Check it out. Yep. Uh, BMX racing, road racing, and about 100 different track events. There's a lot of different ways- Yeah...
• 9:38
to ride your bike around in a circle on a track, apparently. Violently. Yeah. Violently.
• 9:43
[laughs] And then we get through the, the end of the Olympics is, like, the 11th of August, right into the women's Tour of France, and then there's the para-cycling thing. It, I mean, it's all on Peacock.
• 9:53
I just think, like- Yeah. Mm... they have, they have monopolized cycling for this year. I was gonna get Peacock because of, what was it? Oppenheimer was... That's where they started- Oh, okay... the streaming on it.
• 10:05
Now it's moved to a different platform, so I didn't feel the- Yeah... urgency to get the Peacock. Those things seem to move around, like, every three months or so, and- It's called profit... and you're like- Yeah.
• 10:13
Well, now Yellowstone's on, on Peacock, not Paramount. Or it might be on Paramount too, but it is on Peacock, so it's like- Paramount Bikes? It's- Well, no, if I want to see my Kevin Costner- [laughs]...
• 10:24
I gotta go there. And speaking of dogs and the B-Rad, ran into both of that B-Rad, Allison, and Spicoli at the Music on the Beer Line. Nice. And then went over to their house for a little- Spicoli's a dog... fire.
• 10:38
I love me a little Spicoli time. Spicoli's a doggy. I'm well aware who Spicoli is. [laughs] He sat in my lap at one point, which he can no longer do. Uh, yeah. Well, he still- Without cutting off all circulation...
• 10:47
well, yeah, he still tries to get up in there. Yeah. Very, like, "Oh, my. Oh, my. Hello." Oh, he, he is a very friendly, very large animal. [laughs] Greg, what happened to your arm there? It looks all beat up.
• 10:57
Well, here's the thing. Skid mark. I was gonna hurt my foot, like JK had a hurt foot last year, but I rolled my ankle. And instead of hurting my ankle, I just kind of hit the ground, and that's...
• 11:10
I got a little, got a little scraped up. Ouch. Oh, yeah. You know, it could be, like, a, a little tiny crack like that. Just something happens- Mm-hmm...
• 11:16
and I've got loose ligaments in that ankle or something, and bam, oh, you're on the ground. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Not, not thrilled, but my foot is fine. It's just my arm and my hand, a little puffy. Mm-hmm.
• 11:26
Yeah, riding the, uh- [laughs]... riding the, uh, bar beater Trek, the Huber Franken-bike, uh- Went down? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Just not used to smallness and whatever.
• 11:38
And it's very- Short bars when you're used to riding- Yeah... large bar is- Yeah... really a huge pace... and it just was one of those, like, ah.
• 11:42
And of course it's coming into a stop at home, and it's just like, ah, blink. [laughs] It's like, "Oh, no." Yeah, it's like- I'm just gonna ask one que- So I have a wonderful-... was, was drinking involved? Uh, yeah.
• 11:54
Okay. But not- I would say-... not in the-... not extremely, though... not in a, like, "Oh, my God" way. Oh. [laughs] Yeah. Yeah, mine is just a, it's a perpetual injury from stupid soccer- Yeah...
• 12:05
or stupid ultimate Frisbee or stupid freestyle Frisbee or- Jumping, jumping off roofs when I was a kid or whatever Had a bunch of screws in my foot too. Sure.
• 12:12
[laughs] I'm just adding to the scar tissue on my knee- Yeah... area. There you go So.
• 12:16
I'd like to have, like, that thing on the back of a Barbie doll where you, like, twist it and the hair goes into the head so I could shorten the ligaments up there without having somebody go in there.
• 12:23
[laughs] Be pretty badass, actually. [laughs] That's coming. Yeah, the, yeah, the Play-Doh, uh, the Play-Doh barber shop. That- Right? That too. That makes them longer. I want them shorter. Oh, okay.
• 12:32
So they don't do that, 'cause my right foot's never- Ah... ever done it, I don't think. My left foot is kind of prone to it, but it's been a couple years. I usually get kinda like...
• 12:41
Now I'm gonna be, like, watching for it all the time. Maybe it's part of the Star Wars droid factory. That was maybe a short anime one. Oh, that could've been. Yeah, it could- Droids...
• 12:49
I know it's somewhere in the pop culture vault of my head. Alto obscure. Oh, that's your, uh, cycling stories. Okay. Hey, so I do clean out the spam comments.
• 12:58
Even, you know, people can leave comments here if they want on the website. Do you get some spam? This one was good though. I thought it was pretty good. "Hi, my loved one.
• 13:05
I wish to say that this post is amazing, nice written, and include approximately all vital infos. I'd like to peer more posts like this." Nice. Think that's AI, or is that somebody just sitting at a computer? That's ESL.
• 13:18
Yeah, somebody sitting at a computer in the Philippines or something- Yeah, yeah... doing it? Yeah. Slave labor. Right on. We enjoy of your talking. Sure. More. [laughs] Don't think they listen to our show.
• 13:31
If they did- They don't... our stats would be way better. Right? Bunch of traitors. Oh. Um- Oh. Oh... yeah, I think I'm about ready. Get up that Mont Ventoux.
• 13:43
I don't think they use Mont Ventoux this year for the, uh, Tour de France, but... You know what I was watching too on the Peacock... Gotta say Peacock again 'cause I haven't said Peacock enough. Peacock. Peacock.
• 13:51
Uh, Lance Armstrong has a pretty entertaining show about the Tour de France if you're into that kind of stuff. How is he relevant, man? Because he rode seven- The guy's such a cheat... 'cause he rode seven tours.
• 14:01
Yeah, all doped up. I could probably do that too. What you call doping and what they call doping are two different things. Oh, I'm sure of that. [laughs] Um, everybody was doing it.
• 14:14
He was the most tested athlete in the world, and he never- I learned it from you... never tested positive for anything. I learned it from you, man. He was ahead of every test. Explain that to me. They still do it.
• 14:22
How do you think, like, the climb this year of one of the last stages that Marco Pantani, who was a very, was a very tiny Italian guy. Ciao. They finally beat his, his time this year by a significant amount.
• 14:34
Like, the top 12 or 15 guys up that climb were all faster than him. Tell me they're not doing something to enhance something. Nah, it's genes, dude. [laughs] It's genetics. It's gotta be. It's gotta be Jordache. No.
• 14:46
[laughs] That's when they really all smo- uh, sharing a cigarette right before. Yeah. Bing bong, bing bong, bing bong. I'm sure that's what it is. And, oh, and the cocaine. Ah. Back, back in the real old days.
• 14:54
Is that right? Oh, before a climb, cigarette- You would just take it-... cigarette and a blaster? Oh, yeah. For sure. Yeah. Wow. 8% solution. In like the 30s- Like Sherlock Holmes... 20s, 30s. Wow. 7% solution.
• 15:02
[laughs] Well, Sherlock Holmes went eight. At least the movie. It's louder. Or the book. Uh- Uh, this, this was, uh, something off Tubi, one of- Tubi... Yeah, I remember an old, an old, uh, Sherlock Holmes movie- Tubi...
• 15:14
where he was doing... Was he doing opium or cocaine? Or both. Or both. Both. He could've been doing both for all I know. Yeah, it, yeah. Uh- And the newer one has heroin and da, da, da, da...
• 15:23
To- Tony brought the beer today. Mm. Mm. Mm-hmm. It's juicy. It's family owned and operated. That's your Sierra Nevada. You know, they don't make very many bad beers. That's true. They did buy that- I mean-...
• 15:35
Bad Company, though. Kinda makes me unhappy, that one, where we had the l- The, the crappy- The movie-... Athletic Brewery or whatever it was? Where we had the lady on the show.
• 15:41
[laughs] It, it wasn't Athletic, but it was- Ca- Carol's got more-... the name was close... more beer stuff to say something about... the name was close. Oh, it was so bad.
• 15:46
Well, well actually it's not so much beer stuff, but thing about the cocaine and, and, and all that. You know, uh, uh, the,
• 15:54
uh, Monty Python, the guy from Monty Python, he did a thing on the Saturday Night Live show about cocaine, and um, it, it had him with, with Sherlock. It was about Sherlock Holmes.
• 16:06
He was Sherlock Holmes and, and, and he had straws hanging out his nose. [laughs] [laughs] John Cleese. Yeah. [laughs] Boy, that guy was a card. He's gotta be dealt with. Ah. Bada bing bada boom. [laughs] Hey, Marty.
• 16:23
Whoa. I'm, I'm here all week. Dude, one, one of those buttons the rim shot. It wasn't John Cleese? Who was it? It was, it was... Ah. Oh, God. A, uh, we... The same guy that was in A Fish Called Wanda. Oh.
• 16:35
Wasn't that John Cle- Michael Palin No. Michael Palin. Michael Palin. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Yep, I can see him being- God, I gotta watch A Fish Called Wanda now... in a movie like that... with dope wrestling.
• 16:43
I wonder, I wonder- 'Cause that's such a great movie... I wonder, I wonder, I wonder, I wonder, I wonder. [laughs] Love that movie. It's a good movie. It's a good fucking- Wanda.
• 16:53
I, I wonder, I, I wonder, I wonder, I w- [laughs] I haven't watched that movie in an awful long time. Oh, it's a great- It is... Jamie Lee Curtis is so fucking good in it. Uh, you know what else is fucking good?
• 17:06
Three Sheeps beer. Mm-hmm. You know where they got a taproom now? Mm-hmm. Yes, I do. I did not know this. It was just recently. Yeah, I know.
• 17:13
I posted on it about, on the Facebooks about it, 'cause they're ch- chummying up with Hacienda and Door County. Well, Hacienda, County are the same. Right. Right. I'm- So... I'm wondering if this is another...
• 17:26
The market's getting... They're separating for- forgive... I hate this expression, but the boys from the men. The wheat from the chaff? Maybe, 'cause, you know- The hair from the leg...
• 17:35
mm, are they starting- [laughs] The fly from my microphone... and Paris thought Three Sheeps goes out of business, 'cause oh, God, do they make some good beers. Don't, don't they make, like, 250 beers or something?
• 17:42
They make a lot. Somebody... I just... I think it was them. I don't know. They make, they make some great beers. I, I, it would th- in theory make sense. I mean, 'cause- I don't, I haven't been up there, so I don't know.
• 17:52
I just like drinking it very much... they're fresh brewed. We should make that a bike ride. I mean, we made a s- we made a stop just- Yeah, it's not even 50 miles up there... to Sheboygan? Yeah.
• 17:58
It's a little more than that, isn't it? Nah. Eh. It's around fif- 50. It feel, uh... It feels like it's closer, but I feel like it is longer. Yeah, it's around 50. 'Cause we stopped on the way back from-
• 18:10
Krivitz on the last- I think you can do a lot of it in the, uh- Camping wonderful vacation Oakleaf You could just- Yeah, well, or yeah, the, uh, what- Three sheeps all over the damn place. And I was like, "Ah, man."
• 18:17
What do they call it after you get off the Oakleaf? The, uh, Interurban. Uh, the Interurban. Ozaukee Interurban.
• 18:21
I mean, that definitely goes up to Belgium, and once you're in Belgium, you're only, like, nine miles away, so. That's where all the Luxembourgers are. I mean... Yeah. Is that where- The Luxembourg girl...
• 18:31
is that, is that where Team Jacques is, up there? Mm-hmm. Yeah, 'cause they're Luxembourgers. Is that where DiNardo's got his dual citizenship? Yeah. Yeah, it's not the country.
• 18:39
It's in the city of Luxembourg in Wisconsin. [laughs] [laughs] It's like, nice just to have... He'd have a place over there. Fuck it, I'm out of here. No, it was- I'm going to Luxembourg... it was a post office screw-up.
• 18:49
The- Hmm... the town of Belgium was supposed to be Luxembourg, and Luxembourg was supposed to be Belgium because a lot of Luxembourgers were in what is now Belgium. Wild.
• 18:58
And the Belgians are now in what is- That's your history lesson for Wisconsin people... yeah, that's what I do. That's what I do. Well, they're... Well, they have the Spring Classics here in Wisconsin- [laughs]...
• 19:06
and that you ride to those towns because they're towns that would be in France. Oh. Or- Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah... Luxembourg. You who I found out- Yeah. Who was doing that?... just recently is a total Francophile.
• 19:17
Jobs and, Jobes and- Yeah, Jobes... Jobes and Tobes and- Yeah, those guys. Yeah... the other guys. Taco Tuesday, horrible hammock time. Russell, the love muscle. Mr. Jobes. Russell, the love muscle.
• 19:28
Always wants the cholada. I want my cholada. So yeah, I think, I don't know, there's consolidation happening. Is that what you're saying?
• 19:33
I'm thinking that these companies are coming to the realization that they split costs and streamline things that they have a chance to survive this ruckus-ness.
• 19:45
It's gotta be, that's gotta be 10 grand a month for that place. Rent? Oh, yeah. Yeah. At least. I mean, it's huge. It's huge. Yeah. And they're sharing a kitchen. Food ain't bad.
• 19:54
Well, and, and you can- I've, I've been there a couple times. Food's okay... I mean, just exposure-wise. I mean, as much as I don't believe it, I, North Avenue is getting kind of... Up scale?
• 20:04
Oh, n- not upscale- [laughs]... but it's getting a little motion to it. It's not just a- Yeah... it's not a ghost town like it was about two, three, five years ago. Yeah. Right.
• 20:13
It, it kind of went through its college phase and now it's- And then it was, after that-... now it's post doctorate up there. It's post-college. Maybe. Maybe a little bit.
• 20:20
Well, all the graduate students live in the dorm that's just to the south of it, Kenwood. Oh, down there on the- That's a graduate dorm... on the, on the- Oh... North Avenue? Right off it. It's right off of North.
• 20:30
The old, the old, uh, AC Delco building. Oh, yeah, yeah. There's a big old building. They got a lot of dorms. It's pretty badass in there. There's some more history for you. I do some work in there once in a while.
• 20:37
It's pretty badass. They did good jobs. They made components for NASA. Is that right? They also made spark plugs. Well, yeah. [laughs] That was their day job. They made cool spark plugs.
• 20:46
But their night job was getting stuff for NASA. Oh, boy, I don't really have a whole lot more on here. There's gotta be something else on here, though. Uh, oh yeah, the Riverwest 24. Also, Daikaiju on Friday night. Yeah.
• 20:58
Loud, and loud noises, air show nonsense. Oh, fuck that. Oh, yeah. I don't... Uh-huh. Well- Thursday night at Vivarium's a good band.
• 21:05
Uh, there's a lot of really great shows that I'm not gonna be able to get to 'cause I'm old. Uh, Cypress Hill is at 5:45 on Saturday. At the Harley bullshit. At Veterans Park. Well, I'm gonna snipe it from the, uh- Hill?
• 21:19
Top of the, top of- Uh-... top of the morning to you there... what do you call it? The, um, like, uh, the war memorial. The art thing? Yeah. You get a good line of sight and sound from there.
• 21:27
Yeah, that's kind of a- Line of sound is more-... it's kind of a sham to charge you 100 bucks to go into a place you can just sit outside of it and listen, isn't it? Yeah. At Juneau Park you can hear the best.
• 21:35
Well, my, my buddy Frank's like, "You wanna go to Chili Peppers?" I'm like- No. No. [laughs] Well, it's also, I think, Offspring and some other stuff that same day. It was like, "Nah." Nah. No.
• 21:46
He goes, "I'll pay for half your ticket." I go, "It's Riverwest 24 weekend. I'm not going there." [laughs] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 21:50
Did you see the, the prophecy fulfilled that Cypress Hill played with the London Symphony Orchestra? Yes, yes. That's brilliant. I love it. That is a great Simpsons... And now Kamala Harris- Mm... Lisa Simpson.
• 22:05
She's got, she's got more memes than the average me- It's-... me person has these days already... but the whole female presidential candidate talking about the fact that Trump bankrupted the company, the country- Yeah...
• 22:21
is just like- But he's-... poetic justice... but he's a business guy. Everyone wants a business guy to run the country so he can make it go broke. He's a business guy who went bankrupt running a casino. Six times.
• 22:31
Six, six. Yeah. "I went, I only went bankrupt six times. I'm shooting for number seven." "And I'm playing my accordion-" [laughs] "... frantically for you." Yeah, I'm just pissed off.
• 22:41
I had a, I did have an- Piss on that curb... [laughs] I did have an RNC buddy this last week when they were in town. I know you were riding your bike with a flat tire to see him. Oh, yeah. You know what?
• 22:50
Did you see my picture? Mm-hmm. I found a pump on my bike. I'm like, "You know what this is for? Pumping up tires on my bike." It was awesome. And you had a pump on your, on you, and you just didn't know it, or what?
• 22:58
No, I knew it. I just... Well, I knew it after I checked to make sure that I have a pump. Yeah.
• 23:01
'Cause it w- they were just like, I must not ride that bike all that often, 'cause there was, like, 18 pounds of pressure in those tires.
• 23:09
And it was just enough where you're feeling when you're steering, you're like, "Yeah." It's a little swimmy or, you know. No. I'm gonna roll my ankle to do that- Mm... instead of falling off my bike to do that.
• 23:18
[laughs] Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Yeah. So, uh, yeah, put, put 45 pounds in there and it was great. It was a, uh, Lezyne, Lay-zine, Lezyne- That's a, that's a great pump...
• 23:28
uh, it was their middle of the road model, which I would call- Ah, middle of the road... not, not the big- That's where you find me... not [laughs] not the big black one, which is for your fat bike. [laughs] Right.
• 23:37
And not the super high pressure one, which is for your skinny tire bike that no one has anymore. It's for your middle sized bike. If all things go- So-... go to the... All the stars align. Uh, Pretenders are on Monday.
• 23:51
Monday. I signed up for, hopefully, tickets. Yeah, same here. All right. I'm gonna get them in ahead of you. I am. I'm gonna get them. The Pretenders.
• 23:57
Seven o'clock tonight they, uh- Do you know they discovered the Violent Femmes? Maybe. Oh, they did. At least, at least in part. That's, that's the story. At least in part. Hey, I, we- I like-

The, the Pretenders discovered the Violent Femmes. In part. Yeah. [laughs] Uh, we haven't had a crypto minute in a while, Greg, but- My WeatherXM weather station's doing okay Does it just keep doing 2.9 every day?
• 24:20
Every day now. I feel like it's kind of a sham. Every day. How's it doing 2.9 every day? 'Cause it's 100%.
• 24:26
It's getting more money than Google AdWords on the website, so [laughs] It's getting more money than the miner it constantly reports to. Um- Which is funny, 'cause I found that in the data. Oh.
• 24:35
Like, "Oh, it's connecting to the miner that's- The owners... 20 feet away, my miner" That would make sense. So, but yeah. I don't know. I paid for my two Helium miners already. Have you? Oh, yeah.
• 24:45
I- I sucked that out there when it was higher. Yeah, I fucked that up. But it'll get there again. Crypt- uh, fuck, Bitcoin's back at 67 or something. Yep. So, you know, it's, it's cyclical.
• 24:56
But, hey, I might order another one. Oh, yeah. I got, I got the one coming sooner or later. I'm gonna get another month and see and- I had to buy a gimbal for my camera. I had to buy some stuff.
• 25:06
I c- I can't just go buying weather stations all over the place. Right. And, you know- Foma in the sleaze is Thursday nights. Mm-hmm. Down there in New York. Mm-hmm. There's a lot of stuff coming, a lot of stuff.
• 25:16
I know, I know, I know. It's, you know, it's Milwaukee, it's summer. We do stuff all summer long. I went to the lake, like, rode my, rode my bike to the Lake Park concert on Monday.
• 25:26

• 25:47
I'm like, I'm like, "I made a right choice here." [laughs] And then second, then I saw Sonia, uh- Any, any more- Radio Mar- Radio Marcus, uh, that Gary Johnson, Steve Johnson Yeah, Gary Johnson's everywhere.
• 25:59
He's got- Uh... a doppl- twin. He's got holograms running around looking like him. Yeah, exactly. None of them can spell on Facebook either. A bunch of the, uh, uptowners- 'Cause they're always drunk...
• 26:09
That doesn't, shouldn't prevent you from spelling though. You don't know how you spell check, you're that drunk. My phone doesn't know what the hell it's doing sometimes. Oh, he made a little sark on my thing.
• 26:17
He's going like, "Oh, I'd like to see this band in, uh, in, in a club, and I'll, that's as much as I'll say," or something like that. I'm like, "Good. All right, so yeah." Was that in Lake Park? Yeah. Oh.
• 26:27
Yeah, that's getting nutty over there. Holy cow. It, no, Bug- Buggy... people throwing plastic on the ground and trying to- Buggy... yeah. Gets very buggy in there. Buggy. There's a g- there's a very natty area there...

• 26:44
That was, that was from a WMSC art auction. I know. Neil Vaught, I believe, is the artist of that. I, that, that's pretty cool. I just feel like it's, like, front and center.

• 28:20
Well, I, last time I went to Shank Hall, I ran into my cousin who I have, I haven't really talked to in 20 years, and we kind of reconnected, and that was a good thing. All right, there you go.
• 28:28
Uh- Good things come from Shank Hall... I'm not saying it'll be that great going to Shank Hall again this time. But it's at Shank Hall. [laughs] 'Cause that was, that was as good as Shank Hall gets right there.

• 30:19
Oh, I'll have some ham salad... the only person I really like making my ham wrap is Damian. Ham wrap? Those other people don't really have a vibe. Ham sandwich. Ham sammich? Gotta be doing some training.
• 30:27
I know it's a wrap, but you didn't say sandwich. My, my last chicken Caesar was drippy. But it's not a sammich. Is it? Yeah, no. It's a tube. It's a wrap. It's a tube. It's a tube. It's delicious.
• 30:34
I guess, but ham- You put it in the panini press. Do you put a sandwich in a panini press? Oh, isn't that like a specialty ham? Actually, panini. [laughs] It's a sandwich press.
• 30:42

• 31:21
Even though it's a- Like I like to say-... eating a prune... this time every week. We did it. Oops, we did it again. 6:30. So, uh- Our time... yeah, maybe we'll, we'll bop in here during the 24 and do bits and pieces.
• 31:35
I think we'll... I'll just drag people, 'cause this is, uh, not more than what? Two blocks off the route or something.
• 31:41
Well, plus Amorphics already posted that they're gonna be open till, quote-unquote, "At least 1:00 AM." So they have at least one checkpoint. Right. [laughs] That's how that works. By the way, Alicia. Yeah?
