Transcript
- 0:00Now, if you're in a relationship, you might be in the situation I'm
- 0:03in where you just be like, you don't date enough, you don't go
- 0:05on enough dates. Yeah, you know, you do stuff together, you
- 0:09go out, you see friends, but it's not a date, right.
- 0:13So I was doing a little research to me because you know, I feel
- 0:16like I could improve here, And there was a whole study done on long
- 0:18term relationships on what kind of date is the best date to strengthen your relationship?
- 0:23Yeah, because we're a lot like you, Even when we tend to
- 0:26go out by ourselves, you always either run into people or another couple comes
- 0:31along. Like it's just kind of the nature of it. And it's not
- 0:34that we don't want to spend time together, it just so happens. We're
- 0:37always with other people, it feels yeah. Yeah, But I mean you
- 0:39spend a lot of time together alone too, I'm sure like we do,
- 0:42but they're not it's not a date. So they say, the best kind
- 0:44of date, according to this extensive research, are the ones that there is
- 0:49a shared experience that's really beneficial to the health and overall quality of your relationsxample.
- 0:55So, for example, you know, you hear about these things where
- 0:57you go out and there's like a painting class. Oh and you can have
- 1:00wine or beer or whatever while you guys together paint a photo. I mean,
- 1:04because Okay, that's cute, but I mean, have you ever done
- 1:07anything like that? No, that sounds fun to me because it's new.
- 1:10I know for a fact that neither of us are good at painting, so
- 1:11it'd be kind of a contest of like who's painting sucks more? Yeah,
- 1:15it would end up in like us trying to paint each other, like be
- 1:19just being ridiculous. Say, now, that's like right out of a rom
- 1:22com. You guys splashing pain on each other, frolicking around getting kicked out
- 1:26of the class because you're drunk. I mean, gosh, ridiculous. And
- 1:29you know what, I would end up painting, of course, of course,
- 1:32yes, it'd be like, hey, can we do a pottery class
- 1:34and act like we're in the movie Ghost? Really quick, sir, what
- 1:38what's your sculpture there? It looks like a brontosaurus. Oh gosh, I
- 1:44love it, you know, and I think that I'm definitely I want to
- 1:46do this, and it's something you have to make an actual effort to do,
- 1:49you know, like actually plan one because last night I thought we were
- 1:53having a nice little date night. In hindsight, maybe it's not a guess,
- 1:56but you know, my idea of having some quality time together was we
- 2:00had to get a plunger. Okay, And it's not what you think,
- 2:02Amanda. It was for the sink, okay, because you know you've plunged
- 2:06your sink. Well, I got a little hasty with some onions, stuffing
- 2:08them down the garbage disposal and never knew it plunge you. Oh yeah,
- 2:13so our sink was like full of dirty water. So at this point,
- 2:15are you standing You can plunge almost any hole. Are you standing up on
- 2:20the counter like and plunge. That's what I'm envisioning. You don't need to
- 2:23get your old back. And so instead of just like me stopping at the
- 2:28store to get a plunger because we didn't have one, it was a lovely
- 2:30day in Fargo, so we thought we'd just walk to the nearest hardware store
- 2:35and get a plunger. And I thought that was a lovely experience. And
- 2:37then you walked back handing with a plunger, and of course some multiple people
- 2:40we knew that's great. Just you know, assuming that I had just gone
- 2:45down. It was emotion really took your guys's relationship to another level. I
- 2:50thought, anyway, my wife might disagree if you asked her, I guess,
- 2:52are you gonna are you taking this to heart? Are you gonna be
- 2:53doing honestly right now? Just racking my brain what would be like a really
- 2:58good data experien for Nick and I? And because of the kids situation,
- 3:01I just don't really see. I mean, Nick was painting and doing some
- 3:06touch ups around the house the other week, but that's not together Now,
- 3:09that's romantic your husband king up my kids after they paint stuff all over the
- 3:15house. No, okay, shared experiences. Maybe we could all fold the
- 3:20laundry so I'm not the only one doing it this weekend. I don't think
- 3:23you're getting it. Oh you're in a phone call. Good morning, Big
- 3:25ninety eight point seven. So there's a place in West Bargo. It's called
- 3:29the Heart Bar. Have you ever heard of it? Art Barn? No,
- 3:31So it's and they have wine. So I totally thought of you.
- 3:37That's but yeah, because I know you love you're so judgy, Ashley.
- 3:43I love wine too, so it's okay. So I'm always trying to look
- 3:46for new things to do, and you need no artistic ability or what whoever?
- 3:50Can you go in and they teach you, like step by step how
- 3:52to paint And it's just it's a fun atmosphere that you can have a few
- 3:57drinks. That sounds super fun. We should do that would be a fun
- 4:00not you and I. But I was going to say a double date night.
- 4:01Yeah, double date. I'm thinking, yeah, well thanks, Actually,
- 4:04that's we're checking out. I mean, it's a lot of fun.
- 4:08It's just a nice relaxing place and it's not something that you do all the
- 4:12time, right, That's what it's all about, these shared experiences. We
- 4:15appreciate your chiming in on that. Thank you. Yeah, I have a
- 4:17good one in the morning, Big naty eight point seven. You know,
- 4:24parents, they do their best, I feel like, but you know,
- 4:27from time to time, you gotta lie, don't you. And as a
- 4:29kid, I remember of being bad all sorts of lies. A man,
- 4:30you're a parent, now you're probably lying like crazy. I mean just a
- 4:33few times here and there. Yeah, yeah, I mean I saw online
- 4:38people were talking about the lies that their parents told them. Is there anything
- 4:41that you care to share as far as the FIBs, you've been telling your
- 4:43kids, what time is it? Just my sweet little kiddos on their way
- 4:48to school. Have a great day kids. The p a r K gonna
- 4:53probably be close again today because of that wind. They shut her down from
- 4:57every once in a while. That and you know this little chilly can't get
- 5:01to that p a r k. You can just say no, But it
- 5:04is hard because they really could just play at the park all day, you
- 5:08know what I mean, Like, I wait, sorry, p a r
- 5:10K. Thank you, I'm almost out of this stage. By the way,
- 5:13Sidney Lewanne is certain to john a little, is that right? Yeah?
- 5:16The spelling man. At least at least they'll get old enough where they
- 5:20can play at the park kind of buy themselves. But man, even with
- 5:23our nephews, they live across the street from a park, and I'd go
- 5:27over there and try to be the cool uncle. But you can only you
- 5:29know, be on your knees on a rock solid, you know, metal
- 5:32playground. We have a lot of for so long spinny things at our oh,
- 5:35just round and round. You wouldn't last a second. You would be
- 5:40oh yeah, everywhere. Not to mention it is kind of terrifying. I
- 5:44don't know how you do his parents what you know, the kids are climbing
- 5:46way up high and I just get so nervous like that they're just going to
- 5:49fall off. You go through that stage for about a year and then all
- 5:51of a sudden they're fine. Pub a little dirt on it, kids,
- 5:56let's go. Well. You might remember as a kid your parents telling you
- 5:59that you would probably be put to a sentence to death if you turn the
- 6:02interior lights on the car while driving. I forgot about that one. They
- 6:08could not I don't know what it is. They just interacting, but they
- 6:12made it out to be the most illegal thing in the world. And now
- 6:15now they make cars where you have your full on TV on the back.
- 6:17Oh yeah, it was so harmless, mom, I'm just trying to you
- 6:21know, see what toy. I got my happy meal back here, and
- 6:25I can't have the lights on for more than a second. Also, your
- 6:27parents lied to you when they really made you believe that being a member of
- 6:30the Clean Plate Club was just an all time honor. You had to be
- 6:33a member of the Clean Plate Club. And we still very much are.
- 6:38I mean, as an adult, we just had lunch. You took three
- 6:40force of your meal. No my kids again tonight, You're gonna get a
- 6:43sticker on your chart. If you're a part of the Clean Plate, you
- 6:46got a chart, yes, Bike, we do all right? Next time,
- 6:50turn the radio if we have this conversation after it. I mean,
- 6:55if your husband Nick is listening, just turn the radio down for a sec
- 6:57because we need to have an adult conversation. I get you don't want to
- 7:00waste food, but why was it they were just force feeding you, Like
- 7:02if you didn't want the last couple of bites, you didn't want it because
- 7:04they are not eating the real food, and then they think they can get
- 7:09treats and then I'm making a couple of meals. It's like, no,
- 7:11eat your food, You're gonna be full, and then we can move on
- 7:14to something else. Oh my gosh, never going to your place for dinner.
- 7:16Jeez. Oh you're always a part of the clean right. Yeah,
- 7:19I'm I'm in the Hall of fame. Okay, clean plate, all of
- 7:23it. And I know I say it, no pressure, Bike, but
- 7:26I can't wait for you to be a parent. It's just gonna be fun.
- 7:30You might change your mind on a few of these things. Well,
- 7:32you know, I'm not going to enforce the clean plate thing because I'll just
- 7:34clean. I'm on mop up, dudey, just like with my wife.
- 7:38That's just a big old garbage disposal. No plate goes uncleaned now when dad's
- 7:42around. Also lies your parents told you, by the way, if you
- 7:45had when you remembered, or if you're tone, lies to your kid like
- 7:46Amanda left and right seven one two eight one ninety eight seven. You can
- 7:49call us or you can text us this one. When you get older,
- 7:53they tell you that if you're applying for a job, you got to call
- 7:56every day. Remember that where if you put your if you submit your resume,
- 7:59call every day and bug them because you know, greasy wheel gets the
- 8:03grease or squeaky squeakyheel the greasy wheel. Probably don't need any more grease.
- 8:07It's all grease stuff. I don't recall that one, really. I remember
- 8:11I applied for a job at cash Wise when I was my dad. It
- 8:13was so annoying, but he said I couldn't get my driver's license, couldn't
- 8:16even schedule the appointment until I had a job so I could put gas in
- 8:20the car. Okay, So I was like driving around more head, like,
- 8:22where the heck does a guy work? You know, And back then
- 8:26it was like a little harder, you know, they weren't taken just anybody.
- 8:28Yeah. So I tried to get a job at cash Wise because a
- 8:31lot of kids worked there and I called every day, and I probably didn't
- 8:33get the job for that reason, because really, this kid is the most
- 8:37annoying kid in the world. Stop calling. That's hilarious. Seven one two
- 8:39eight one ninety eight seven Feel Free Issue is a text or chime in.
- 8:43We also threw it up on Facebook and Amanda put one on here that I
- 8:46still believe. I still believe this. If you go outside with wet hair
- 8:50and you don't have a jacket or a hat on, you're gonna get a
- 8:54cold. I still struggle with that, Like I think that's happening. I
- 8:58mean, do we have science to back this side? Is that not true?
- 9:01I don't know. And also the cracking I was terrible. I still
- 9:03do it. Crack my knuckles. Oh yeah, you're the world and I'm
- 9:05gonna get like arthritis or my family be like, no, your hands are
- 9:09gonna be all jacked up. Well, you do have long fingers. I
- 9:11know, That's why they need some crap, I'm will crack them in the
- 9:15studio. I would be stop it, it's just hard, like I hate
- 9:18it. And then she goes, I can't help it. I'm like,
- 9:20what do you mean you can't help it? I can't. You're doing the
- 9:22act. I just don't do the thing. They're cracking on their own.
- 9:24I've been doing this my whole life. What about this parent lies that they
- 9:28told the kids coffee stunt your growth? I mean, remember they just I
- 9:31didn't want you to drink coffee. Yeah, which is weird because I didn't
- 9:35try coffee until about six seven years ago, and now I drink it.
- 9:39I have you grown sense? A matter of fact, you look the same
- 9:43light to me. Maybe they got a point stunt? Is that what it?
- 9:45Stut stunt stunt stunt stunt stunted? No, I mean I did drink
- 9:52Remember, like after church, you know, they'd have the coffee and you
- 9:54did. Oh yeah, nothing was cooler than a kid drinking coffee. Oh
- 9:58hey, got a phone call, good morning. Okay, So when I
- 10:01was a little kid, I used to love drinking my grandma's straight black coffee.
- 10:05Really, how old were you? We're talking like, oh gross,
- 10:09I used to look forty going over there just so I can have it.
- 10:13But I think I liked it just because it was my grandma. That is
- 10:16really to doubt. Did she allow you to put a little maybe sugar in
- 10:20there or cream or something or not? Just straight black? Do you know
- 10:24what? I used to enjoy drinking? And this is so bad and I
- 10:30don't even know if I should admit it, but my mom was a big
- 10:33zema drinker. Yeah, and I didn't really know that it was alcoholic at
- 10:37the time because I was so sure, but I loved the zem. I
- 10:41would like go and sneak it because I thought it was seven up, like
- 10:45if she had one open. Starting to explain a lot of things, so
- 10:48stop it. Thank you for the call. What was your name, by
- 10:50the way, actually, Ashley, thank you for colonists anytime. Yeah,
- 10:54I have a great day. Now. You go to schools around here and
- 10:56kids are having iced coffee under age ten. No, they love like Starbucks
- 11:01culture because that's and they're not drinking coffee. What they're drinking is like a
- 11:07melted down milkshake. Okay, pretty much trending. Now here's what you need
- 11:13to know. Well, we've been really lucky with the weather, and I
- 11:16haven't even thought about a warm, weathered vacation yet, you know, because
- 11:18we've been so lucky. Well, a lot of people are going to start
- 11:20gearing up for cruises and going somewhere warm. And of course there's a Taylor
- 11:26Swift theme cruise if you want to get up on it. It's fifteen hundred
- 11:31dollars. That's the beginning ticket. So I don't know. I've never been
- 11:35on a cruise, so I don't know if that's like the lower cabin area
- 11:39normally. And I don't know what cruise lyne it is, because that really
- 11:41is a big part of it. I want to say it's Carnival, but
- 11:43I'm not. Obviously that's going to be like the you know, sort of
- 11:46the Walmart of the seas. Oh really yeah, yeah, I mean it's
- 11:48fine, like there's crust harda and you come back and now you're a cruise
- 11:52kind of steer man. Listen, I'm a cruise guy. I am through
- 11:56and two. But it's fine. I've taken a carnival cruise. You know,
- 11:58everything it's all included, so like the meals, you get, the
- 12:01amount of food. It's the best iman I ate probably ten thousand dollars worth
- 12:05of food. I mean so good. I can see that they lost a
- 12:07lot of money. Now this is interesting. I can see that you look
- 12:11ridiculous. No, no, no, no, just you gained a ton
- 12:13of weight. I can no. No, no. So question though,
- 12:16because one of the reasons I have not done a cruise is because I feel
- 12:20like I not even the seasick. I'd just be uncomfortable. But you are
- 12:24a guy who can't even be in a car without getting cars. I guess
- 12:28you're driving. I get sick on a swing set, you know what I
- 12:30mean. But I am fine. Cruises. Yeah, you have to medicate.
- 12:33No, I did, but just preventive. But I was fine.
- 12:35No, you're fine. No. Cruise is a great Taylor Swift themed cruise.
- 12:37Sounds like a blast. I would encourage anyone to do it. They're
- 12:39going to be doing like dress up nights for the air. I'm sure every
- 12:43night'll be a different era. They're doing the friendship bracelet trading. You know,
- 12:46I remember when you'd go to like an all inclusive place and they'd have
- 12:50like arts and crafts. I'm guessing you're like, oh, let's make bracelets
- 12:52and then have a bracelet exchange. I went on a Disney cruise that was
- 12:56fine. Now that's a theme I can get behind. Just showed up the
- 13:01whole gang Donald goof the Goofster that might freak me out a little where I
- 13:05can't just walk away. And they're just knowing that they're sleeping on the same
- 13:09ship. It cree pay extra. They sleep in the same cabin this year
- 13:15the full premium experience. Yes, you see, and this is where going
- 13:20the Burger King commercial while the king is on the side of the bed like
- 13:24good morning. No, I'm similar not okay with that, and I always
- 13:28step on them. But I never really knew what legos, what it even
- 13:31stood for, Like did you know, I thought it was a word.
- 13:33I thought it was a brand, so did I. Well, now as
- 13:37somebody is saying that it is a combination of two Danish words leg got and
- 13:41it means play well, people are just finding this out or well they're just
- 13:46finding out about us, And all I'm thinking is, like, kids do
- 13:48not play well with legos usually. No, No, I know, I
- 13:52love that that's what they were intending to go with. But well, you
- 13:56know what I just found out though, is that I literally just as we're
- 14:00talking those. I think I realized, you know, the Lego my Ago,
- 14:03that whole thing with a goo yeah Ago waffles. I didn't know what
- 14:05that meant. I thought it was just using they were just talking about Legos.
- 14:09But I think it means let go of my Eggo, right well that
- 14:11well with my waffle? Am I crazy? Is that what they meant the
- 14:16whole time in the nineties when they're saying Lego my Ago, you just accepted
- 14:20it as a thing. We said it was just on the commercial. I
- 14:22don't know what it meant, but it means it's got to be let go
- 14:24of my Eggo, like don't touch, don't you dare back up off and
- 14:30you know what, have you had a waffle, like a good Eggo waffle
- 14:33before not? I went. I went through a stage of it. And
- 14:37my kids are on like the French toasticks. That's their cool new thing.
- 14:39They've never really had the waffles, but I used to eat that for breakfast,
- 14:43lunch, and dinner. Loved Lego and you put what syrup on there?
- 14:46Maple syrup, and I was like the weirdo that you would grab the
- 14:50butter and I would put just a square, just a huge square, like
- 14:54every single piece had to have every little section of the waffle I have,
- 14:58but you would just well for me, is the syrup just slowly running,
- 15:01dripping syrup into every real thing. It was really satisfying in a way.
- 15:03I know as a Netflix have you ever thought about I guess what they are
- 15:07doing is you have your top ten And I always thought that that's like what
- 15:11was trending in the US. I still feel like that's an algorithm because mine
- 15:16has minions on it a lot of shows. But they did a study and
- 15:20every single state has like the number one show right now, and Quarterbacks is
- 15:24for North Dakota. That's the most watched show right now. Interesting. I
- 15:31love you some football too, but I haven't seen that. What about now
- 15:33Minnesota? Minnesota the Diplomat, Oh, I haven't heard of that? And
- 15:37South Dakota? Is this got to be a documentary? Beef Beef? No,
- 15:43it's a really good show. It's one season so far, but it's
- 15:45super super interesting, super fun, dramatic, funny word that's just the words
- 15:50about beef. It's about yep, sirloin beef usd No, It's about beef
- 15:54with a person, this woman and this guy. Oh you got beef.
- 15:58It starts the road rage incident, and then it just like unravels. I
- 16:03mean, truly, it's a good show if you were looking for something good.
- 16:06But we watched one last night on Netflix. Over the last couple of
- 16:07nights. It's like something all the light that you can't see or something.
- 16:11I saw that on my trending based on a book, and we watched it.
- 16:15We thought it was a lovely like World War two story, like Holocaust.
- 16:18You know, you got the Nazi soldiers. Anyway, I go afterward
- 16:22after literally almost in tears. It was such a beautiful and really and then
- 16:26we go and read the reviews and you would think it was the worst film
- 16:29ever made. Were you going to put in your review and that's why you
- 16:32went through or why are you reading the reviews. I'm always just curious to
- 16:36like sort of line up my personal review with the critics, and jeez,
- 16:38I don't know. I don't know if I got a single tomato, zero
- 16:41tomatoes, almost no tomatoes. Escusually the movie is that I like when nobody
- 16:45else likes them. Every time there's like an Oscar winner or any of that,
- 16:49I'm like, yeah, somebtitles didn't get into that one. One of
- 16:53my favorite movies is American Pie Too. Trust Me wasn't nominated for any Academy
- 16:59Awards. The Stiff Meister didn't win Best Supporting Actor. Believe it or not,
- 17:03still a classic though. Weatherwise, today it is gonna be sunny,
- 17:07windy though, gus up to about forty miles per hour high at forty three.
- 17:10But after today, once the wind gets out of here, it's gonna
- 17:12be great again, like mid fifties all weekend and Amanda in the morning on
- 17:17Big nine and now Amanda stills the sea looks see brought to buy JDP Electric.
- 17:26I get it. There's a lot going on with Taylor and Travis.
- 17:27We'll get to that, but first we gotta dive into this. So Dean
- 17:30McDermott Tory spelling. They broke up. They both looks like they've kind of
- 17:36moved on already. It was really fast. He was very open. He
- 17:40sat down for an interview and talked about how alcohol played a huge part in
- 17:44their divorce. He took full responsibility for basically his rage, him basically moving
- 17:51out of her room and kind of just isolating himself from the kids. Divorce
- 17:56they call it. But also now did you snore or what was the issue?
- 17:59You know, this is where I wanted to dive in pike. He
- 18:03described their bedroom situation as you know, not only was he drinking and all
- 18:07of that, but she also loved to have several animals in their bedroom.
- 18:11So it wasn't just dogs and cats. There were multiple dogs. He said
- 18:15that they were elderly dogs who were you know, the bowel movements were a
- 18:19little rough. Oh my god. Now I imagine they have a bigger bedroom
- 18:22than you or I. But still even then, multiple dogs and one else
- 18:26a chicken, oh god. And also a pig in the bedroom, I
- 18:32mean a swine in the bedroom. I know you're telling me they're sleeping with
- 18:36a hog. They are sleeping with the hog. Now do you now do
- 18:38you let the pig in bed? Or no? I know you let like
- 18:41all your kids and all your dogs and everything in the bed. But where
- 18:44do you draw the line? Yeah, no, I'm not gonna I'm not
- 18:45going to allow a pig in my bed. That's not gonna happen. Not
- 18:48a chicken, It's just what about a horse, would you? Nope?
- 18:53Okay, well, see not a horsing around going on in that bed unless
- 18:57you're unless you're equally I mean, that's crazy stuff. You know what that
- 19:00that feels like she's not well. I mean, I know people love animals,
- 19:03but come on, you got a pig in your bedroom. This also
- 19:06feels like a warning shot for her new boyfriend, like, hey, just
- 19:07so you know if she hasn't brought the animals in yet. Yeah, they're
- 19:11comments. Also, I mean, what a great opportunity for Dean to walk
- 19:14in and say, jeezus, place looks like a pig style. No,
- 19:19you didn't, I didn't. I'm saying he could have. What a line
- 19:23it would have been, you didn't go there? Could have saved the marriage
- 19:26with a line like that, adding a little humor into it. All right,
- 19:33Taylor Swift fans, they are doing everything they can to not like Travis
- 19:37Kelsey. Some of them are digging through his old tweets just trying to find
- 19:40something on him. The best is they found nothing. That's incredible because few
- 19:45would pass this test of this swifties digging through your history. Yes, other
- 19:49than the fact that he's a really bad speller and he consistently spells Chapultle wrong.
- 19:56Isn't that cute? I mean, it makes you like him even more,
- 19:59and yester day we were all waiting for it. He had his podcast
- 20:02with his brother and he talked about what went and Dawn on in Buenos Aires
- 20:07the video we all Sawn feel to officially be the guy on the Chiefs You
- 20:12mean karma? Yeah, No, I had no clue. Might have had
- 20:15a little bit of a clue, definitely. When I heard it come out
- 20:18of her mouth, still shocked me. I was like, oh, she
- 20:21really just said that. All right, you were so shocked you left Scott.
- 20:23Hang it, scotch Over, you're looking for a high five, mister
- 20:26Swift. I apologize, big guy. He even had your chief slanyard on
- 20:30got him over here to the good side. Baby, What are we doing?
- 20:33Scott? So, I have been following this podcast even before the Taylor
- 20:36Swift stuff, and I love that he caught himself. He has a potty
- 20:40mouth, and now that he's talking about Taylor Swift knows that they're probably not
- 20:45Harrison. Yes, I saw him catch himself with the S word, which
- 20:48I thought was cute. But just the respect he has, how much fun
- 20:52You can just see it in his eyes. He is a smitten kitten.
- 20:57Yeah, And he was talking about the you know, just being there because
- 21:00he had gone to That's how the whole thing started, right, he went
- 21:03to her show and he said it was what did he say, she slayd
- 21:06or whatever. But he made a friendship bracelet with his phone number to give
- 21:10to her, and he's like, yeah, it's a bummer. She doesn't
- 21:11talk to people before or after. And that's how it started. And then
- 21:14he said this about the last one. For those of you who haven't seen
- 21:18all the videos of me on your TikTok and your Instagram fee, I was
- 21:21enjoying myself down there in Buenos Aires. The show was even more electric knowing
- 21:26that I had a little bit more to enjoy for Taylor absolutely ripped it.
- 21:30She killed it. Huh, it's cute. I mean if that does not
- 21:33put a smile on your face, there's something wrong with it. And you
- 21:36and I had just seen the video. People are going back to when he
- 21:37did his own dating show. If you don't remember, Travis Kelsey basically had
- 21:41his own Bachelor, Yeah, and he was talking about what he was looking
- 21:44for in a lady catching Kelsey and she just like checks all the boxes,
- 21:48a self motivated woman, not somebody who just wants to be with you because
- 21:49you're in the NFL. And keep in mind, he has brought her up
- 21:53a few times as like being the crush, Like growing up, who was
- 21:56your crush? He kept saying it was Taylor's. And now the parents are
- 22:00fully involved in this situation. So yesterday, Donna Kelsey admitted that she went
- 22:06and saw Taylor's movie and talked about how extremely talented she is, how totally
- 22:11enthralled she wasn't admired, the presence that she was able to connect with with
- 22:15her fans, and just how amazing she is. Now we're being told Monday
- 22:18night football, it's the Chiefs and the Eagles. Taylor Swift's family is going
- 22:23to the game to meet the family. That is what we are told.
- 22:27So Jason Kelsey now is going to be able to meet. I mean,
- 22:30this is just gonna be I'm giddy? God, did I care this much?
- 22:34Is this also weird? You're not alone? Trust me, I'm feeling
- 22:38it too. I do feel like just a certain amount of just you know,
- 22:42obsession with this, and there's so much where it's yes, the girls
- 22:45are, oh, it's all about the love and cute, but then you
- 22:48just look at them as brothers. This reminds me of you and Bobby.
- 22:52You're just having a good time. Say this is ls you decide we're gonna
- 22:56do a holiday song. You're having fun in his studio, and this is
- 23:00what they're doing. So as you know, Jason Kelsey has done music before
- 23:03for the holidays, for the Philadelphia I did not know that. I know
- 23:06that he's got a good way after you'll hear in a second. But his
- 23:07voice is very good. It's very much like Poomba. Well he added Travis
- 23:15to it, but they're just having fun. Listen, the sound of the
- 23:18seal Age is far all singing Galloway Bay and the bell ringing out for Christmas
- 23:26Days, a little bit of a I'm sorry. All I hear is Poomba.
- 23:33It's a little Timon and Pumba. It's a little Dropkick Murphy's. It's
- 23:36got it all. They're so likable, like you can try so hard to
- 23:41hate it. I was watching it last night and my husband is so anti
- 23:44like the Hollywood anything, and I even saw a twinkle in his eye a
- 23:48death. I was like, look, that's the test. Like I know,
- 23:51he kind of likes it. Now they've made it like Amanda in the
- 23:53morning on Soliday. Yes it is and one of the stories that really is
- 24:02just captured the hearts of the entire world, I believe started back in twenty
- 24:06sixteen. Are you familiar with the Thanksgiving Grandma? Her name Wanda Dench and
- 24:11back in twenty sixteen, she sent a text message to who she thought was
- 24:15her grandson. That's right, but it turned out her grandson had gotten a
- 24:18new phone number, so her text ended up in the hands of a then
- 24:22teenager, Jamal Hinton. So it was inviting him to Thanksgiving. But when
- 24:26he revealed that it was the wrong number, he asked if he could come
- 24:30anyway, which is crazier. I love this, And she responded Wanda that
- 24:34yeah, anyone is welcome at our table. So without even knowing this person
- 24:38at all, she invited him to her Thanksgiving and wouldn't you know it a
- 24:42photo then later was revealed that they had spent Thanksgiving together. The most amazing
- 24:48just like heartwarming story. And so for years since, every year has become
- 24:51a tradition that they will spend Thanksgiving together Wanda Hench and Jamal Hinton. And
- 24:56this has been since twenty sixteen, every year still going strong. They forged
- 25:00a really close relationship. They said, they have so much fun spending the
- 25:03holiday together, and now you have the opportunity to spend it with them.
- 25:07Oh yeah, they're they're franchising note for Thanksgiving. What does that part up?
- 25:12They've teamed up with Airbnb. So basically, you have the opportunity to
- 25:15spend a night in the house at Wanda's house in Arizona, or or you'll
- 25:22be able to have a catered Thanksgiving meal with Wanda and Jamal. Is great.
- 25:26It'll include all the fixed I mean gala classics, right, turkey,
- 25:30mashed potatoes, Wanda's favorite Costco pumpkin pie. Oh, and you're gonna have
- 25:34this all for the mere charge of sixteen dollars, which Airbnb said they'll be
- 25:40donating in honor of this to Feeding America. So how are they going to
- 25:42pick the one person? It's basically a contest. My first thought was like,
- 25:45as much as I love Wanda and Jamal, I'm like, come on,
- 25:48are we like monetizing this with a super expensive Airbnb? Right? Exactly?
- 25:52Yeah, But no, it turns out it's all for a good cause.
- 25:55And would you have welcomed a stranger into your home? I think I
- 25:59might struggle. I don't think I love honesty. I don't think i'd be
- 26:03like, come on over, you know, I'd want I'd want some stats,
- 26:06some details. We're gonna patch you down at the door. My husband's
- 26:10gonna have a weapon at the table. But you know, come on in,
- 26:11turn it out bike in a minute in the morning on Big Nutty eight
- 26:17point seven. You want suspect a thing when you hear that telephone room by
- 26:23friend's flacking. Never this lesson by s freend Sony want arrested by friend?
- 26:33Does this sound familiar? This guy's wife spends too much money on Amazon?
- 26:37Might be relatable for a few people. Definitely not me. He's not mad
- 26:41or anything, but he does think it would be funny if we prank called
- 26:44his wife Ariel. So shall we? Let's do it? All? Right?
