Ezra 8

Ezra is about to lead a group of people back to Jerusalem to continue a rebuilding project. It was a nine-hundred-mile journey. That might not seem like a great distance to us but it was to them. They realized they needed to depend on God for the journey. So, they start things off with a fast. There's a great lesson here for us. We need to humble ourselves before God as well and depend on Him completely on this journey through life.
