Transcript
- 0:10Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Reality TV Cringe. I am one
- 0:14Speaker 1: of your hosts, Delia here with my real tight homegirl
- 0:18Speaker 1: and my daughter in law Beatrice. We are here tonight
- 0:25Speaker 1: to talk SILSTA waves Honey Girls, Season nineteen, episode sixteen,
- 0:31Speaker 1: just sixteen chalk full of so much filler and so
- 0:36Speaker 1: much Christine, and so much of this wedding preparation.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I can't take out. We've already seen that.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I literally can't take it. Every week I scream about it.
- 0:47Speaker 1: So I'm going to try and not do that this week.
- 0:49Speaker 1: But I'm just like I just the audacity of DLC.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I cannot.
- 0:52Speaker 2: It's terrible.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I cannot. Now, before we get into our recap of
- 0:56Speaker 1: the episode, we do have some like newsworthy ideas that
- 1:01Speaker 1: we want to discuss. Also, I think we have like
- 1:04Speaker 1: two or three people who have called in to sound
- 1:07Speaker 1: off on the Browns, and we're going to be listening
- 1:10Speaker 1: to those messages and answering those messages at the end
- 1:14Speaker 1: of this podcast, after or video however, you're consuming this content,
- 1:18Speaker 1: so this might be a little bit of a long one,
- 1:20Speaker 1: but I'm ready for it. That Okay, let's start with
- 1:23Speaker 1: news worthy items, beginning with Mary the Brown lady. I
- 1:29Speaker 1: was upon ig like last Friday or some I think
- 1:33Speaker 1: it was Friday, I don't actually really remember, and I
- 1:36Speaker 1: happened to see that Mary was live. I really never
- 1:40Speaker 1: catch her lives. I certainly never go looking for her lives,
- 1:42Speaker 1: but I saw that she was live, and I'm like,
- 1:44Speaker 1: let me just pop on in there with my raccoon's self.
- 1:47Speaker 1: She and Jen were doing one of her live thingies,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and I popped on just as they were beginning to
- 1:53Speaker 1: complain about fans fans being a little bit overly interested
- 1:59Speaker 1: in and her business, okay, and in specific, they were
- 2:04Speaker 1: talking about the recent article that I think came out
- 2:08Speaker 1: through in Touch Weekly where they reported that Mary has
- 2:13Speaker 1: taken out a third count of three trace Honey three loans.
- 2:19Speaker 1: She's taking out a third loan on her haunted B
- 2:22Speaker 1: and B. Why I don't know, And so that's kind
- 2:25Speaker 1: of I wanted to talk about it, mainly so that
- 2:28Speaker 1: we could ask the raccoons what the hell's going on,
- 2:31Speaker 1: because this house cannot be worth that much in marijuana
- 2:37Speaker 1: way taught in the condition that it's in now. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: think she purchased the home like twenty seventeen, twenty sixteen,
- 2:43Speaker 1: twenty fifteen around then, I think she purchased it for
- 2:46Speaker 1: three hundred and somewhat thousand dollars, which I think is
- 2:50Speaker 1: the original loan, okay. And then I think around two
- 2:53Speaker 1: years after that there is an additional loan, and I'm
- 2:57Speaker 1: not getting the numbers exact, so I'm just going to
- 2:59Speaker 1: tell you that right now. You can read the article,
- 3:00Speaker 1: but it's like three seventy it's still three something, okay.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And then the most recent loan was in the four hundreds,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and so again three separate loans. And my question was
- 3:13Speaker 1: was whether the subsequent loans absorbed the first loan. So,
- 3:18Speaker 1: if she got a loan out, for example, in twenty
- 3:21Speaker 1: seventeen for three hundred to mortgage the home, and then
- 3:24Speaker 1: took another loanout for three seventy two years later, does
- 3:27Speaker 1: that include the three hundred thousand original mortgage or is
- 3:31Speaker 1: this an additional three hundred and seventy thousand dollars that
- 3:34Speaker 1: she's taking out against that home. And additionally, in twenty
- 3:38Speaker 1: twenty four, when she's taking out the third loan, does
- 3:41Speaker 1: that absorb the previous loans or is this an entirely
- 3:45Speaker 1: new loan, Because if it's an entirely new loan. We're
- 3:47Speaker 1: talking about like one point one million dollars leveraged against
- 3:51Speaker 1: the haunted BMB. That's crazy, And I don't see how
- 3:55Speaker 1: that the value of the house supports that kind of
- 3:58Speaker 1: a bank loan, unless it's a different kind of loan,
- 4:03Speaker 1: maybe taking out some money in order to renovate the
- 4:06Speaker 1: B and B. I don't know, but like, why are
- 4:09Speaker 1: you taking out loans every couple two three years on
- 4:13Speaker 1: this house when I believe she's probably rolling in dough,
- 4:17Speaker 1: not just from TLC but from worthying up and from
- 4:21Speaker 1: her Lula Rowe MLM. Like she's making a lot of money.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Why would she need to continue to take out these loans?
- 4:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I mean, the Browns are known for making the worst
- 4:32Speaker 3: fucking financial decisions ever. But if she is rolling in dough,
- 4:35Speaker 3: maybe she can afford all the loans. I mean, I
- 4:38Speaker 3: know my Non and Poppy they took out like several
- 4:40Speaker 3: liens on their house and then they ultimately lost it
- 4:43Speaker 3: because they couldn't afford all of those payments.
- 4:46Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I mean, I was just a young teenageers, right know
- 4:49Speaker 3: what any of that means? I don't know how you
- 4:51Speaker 3: even take out a lean. Why would you even do that.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Well, you don't take out a lean, you take out
- 4:56Speaker 1: a loan, and if you don't pay your loan, they'll
- 4:57Speaker 1: put a lien on your house. Oh, I don't know.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Means these people owe me money and when they sell
- 5:02Speaker 1: the house, they've got to pay me before they get
- 5:04Speaker 1: any of that money.
- 5:05Speaker 2: What.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, so Mary doesn't have any leans, but she's got
- 5:09Speaker 1: these loans and I'm just wondering, because of course I'm
- 5:11Speaker 1: so nosy. I'm like wondering how it's structured and also
- 5:14Speaker 1: why she would have to do it. But then that's
- 5:17Speaker 1: none of my damn business. And apparently all of us
- 5:20Speaker 1: inquiring mind raccoons are getting under Mary and Jen's skin.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Because Crime River.
- 5:27Speaker 1: There are people out there, content creators, influencers who are
- 5:30Speaker 1: talking about the loans, and apparently they're pissed off about it,
- 5:33Speaker 1: Like why are you talking about this stuff?
- 5:35Speaker 3: Because you're a national TV star and everybody's obsessed and
- 5:38Speaker 3: wants to be up your ass and know everything about everything.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I'm not saying anything.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Because you guys lie and because you guys hid style
- 5:45Speaker 1: how you never tell the truth, And so we get
- 5:47Speaker 1: these dribs and drabs. We hear about home purchases and
- 5:50Speaker 1: home sales, and so of course I'm going to be
- 5:52Speaker 1: talking about it. That's the nature of the beef.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Mary, thank god, so stupid. If you don't want to
- 5:57Speaker 2: be talked about, then don't be on TV.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Stay mad, cope harder. This is what we're talking about again.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So if anybody's listening or watching and you kind of
- 6:05Speaker 1: understand what she's doing here financially, we would love to know. Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 1: very very much. You know what I didn't do, honey,
- 6:11Speaker 1: I didn't issue a disclaimer.
- 6:13Speaker 2: No you didn't.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I just went right into it. Let me just take
- 6:16Speaker 1: a moment right now to issue a disclaimer, which we
- 6:19Speaker 1: do for every single podcast, every single video that we create.
- 6:23Speaker 1: We always warn y'all to please had your wife and
- 6:27Speaker 1: had your kids. This is a politically incorrect podcast. We
- 6:31Speaker 1: say a lot of bad words, f bombs, and we're stupid.
- 6:36Speaker 1: We're so dumb, and we love that about ourselves. And
- 6:38Speaker 1: so if you're a subfu el.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Away bye, you might want to find yourself on the dumpster.
- 6:45Speaker 1: But if you're ready to party, and if you're like
- 6:47Speaker 1: not offended by a couple of chicks on the internet
- 6:50Speaker 1: who say fucking shit, and stuff, and we thank you,
- 6:54Speaker 1: welcome to this dumpster. And I'm only mentioning it because
- 6:57Speaker 1: we did have somebody comment I think on our speak
- 7:01Speaker 1: pipe video last week with like all Cats, something like,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I am so sick of all of these f words,
- 7:08Speaker 1: all of these swears, thumbs down.
- 7:11Speaker 2: It maybe laughed so hard it was totally some boomers.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I know, it's absolutely and I get it. Not everybody
- 7:18Speaker 1: wants to hear all of the effective literally on all
- 7:22Speaker 1: of the curse words. And I do actually try to remember,
- 7:26Speaker 1: and then I promptly forget. I promptly forget. I try
- 7:29Speaker 1: to remember that not everything needs to be augmented or
- 7:33Speaker 1: dressed up with a cursed word. I think it does,
- 7:35Speaker 1: but it just rolls off the raccoon tongue, yeady. And
- 7:38Speaker 1: so if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff, if
- 7:40Speaker 1: you can't hear all those words, you have been warned.
- 7:44Speaker 1: We warn y'all before we start talking every single week.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So I mean, are you new.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Suck these nuts? Are you new shit? Got?
- 7:52Speaker 1: So that's your disclaimer?
- 7:53Speaker 3: Yeah, And if you like what we do over here
- 7:55Speaker 3: and you like to say fucking shit, go and follow
- 7:58Speaker 3: us on Instagram at Reality tv Cringe and join us
- 8:01Speaker 3: on Patreon, Patreon, dot com, slash reality TV cridge. If
- 8:04Speaker 3: you think we're crass over here.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's so much worse on Patreon, talk
- 8:07Speaker 1: about politically and correct for real. I'd definitely love to
- 8:11Speaker 1: have you. We are talking about couple's therapy. We are
- 8:14Speaker 1: in season one. It is the season of Mao and Annie.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, when you triggered he's the worst. It
- 8:22Speaker 1: is so frickin good. And we're also covering my six
- 8:25Speaker 1: hundred pound life, and we're gonna be talking about them
- 8:27Speaker 1: six hundred pound thousand pound friends and stuff like that.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Did you know Doctor now has a new show that's
- 8:33Speaker 1: not on TLC, but it's on Lifetime and it's called
- 8:38Speaker 1: I think it's called My six thousand Pounds something or other. Huh.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He's got a whole other shows which we kind of do,
- 8:45Speaker 1: which is the same premise as this show, but apparently
- 8:48Speaker 1: produced better, Like it moves along faster, it's not the
- 8:52Speaker 1: same scripted people talking. Oh yeah, and I think it's
- 8:57Speaker 1: like a shorter show as well. We gotta get into it.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I want to. And you know, I love anything that
- 9:02Speaker 1: has to do with a wie. People like myself I
- 9:04Speaker 1: love it for the INA's thank you. I like to
- 9:08Speaker 1: see myself in the media. So if you're interested in
- 9:11Speaker 1: all that, you got to go to the Patreon. Now,
- 9:13Speaker 1: if you are watching on YouTube, please do not forget
- 9:17Speaker 1: to like and comment and share and subscribe, because truly,
- 9:21Speaker 1: every single thing you do helps us in the algorithm,
- 9:25Speaker 1: helps us to get noticed by other raccoons. We're looking
- 9:27Speaker 1: for a home being I know.
- 9:29Speaker 2: They're just looking for a dumpster where the that's.
- 9:32Speaker 1: This dumps Yeah, and if you do all those things,
- 9:34Speaker 1: they can find us. So thank you in advance. All right,
- 9:39Speaker 1: back to the news where the idels. The second thing
- 9:42Speaker 1: I kind of just wanted to talk about was Mattie
- 9:45Speaker 1: Brown or Maddie whatever her name is now that she's
- 9:48Speaker 1: married Caleb Girl. Yeah, so she started a podcast, I
- 9:53Speaker 1: want to say it was like one month ago.
- 9:56Speaker 2: It was literally six weeks ago.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It was six weeks ago, weeks ago with her friend
- 10:01Speaker 1: called the Authenticity.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Podcast, The Authentic Society.
- 10:05Speaker 1: The Authentic Society. Well, apparently Maddie has decided she no
- 10:09Speaker 1: longer wants to be authentic and she no longer wants
- 10:12Speaker 1: to be part of this podcast. She issued a statement,
- 10:15Speaker 1: why don't you read it to us.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Yeah, she posted on Instagram, and she goes it's the
- 10:19Speaker 3: closing of a chapter. After much reflection, I've decided to
- 10:24Speaker 3: step away from the Authentic Society podcast. I've truly enjoyed
- 10:29Speaker 3: the experience, learned so much, and I'm deeply grateful for
- 10:33Speaker 3: the support from all of you. However, it's clear this
- 10:36Speaker 3: project no longer aligns with my goals or the vision
- 10:39Speaker 3: I have for my future and my family.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Okay, it's been six weeks. It's not like we've been
- 10:44Speaker 1: following you for six years and you're dipping out on
- 10:47Speaker 1: her show everybody loves.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I think it was not popular.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It was not popular, and the reason it's not popular
- 10:52Speaker 1: is because you're not dropping truth bombs. And the only
- 10:55Speaker 1: people who are listening to your podcast are middle aged
- 10:59Speaker 1: white women, losers like me who are hoping you're going
- 11:02Speaker 1: to talk about Cody Brown and everything that's going on,
- 11:05Speaker 1: because you seem to be the most angry out of
- 11:07Speaker 1: all the children. And so then you're gonna start a
- 11:10Speaker 1: podcast and we're going to expect that you start saying stuff,
- 11:14Speaker 1: and then you don't say anything. You start talking about parenting.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I know, honey, I'm in my forties. For real, I
- 11:18Speaker 1: don't need to know about your parenting tips?
- 11:21Speaker 3: Yeah, no, for real, Yeah, she would, she would start it,
- 11:26Speaker 3: don't look at any like that.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean my forties, I know what your
- 11:31Speaker 1: your parenting tips are?
- 11:32Speaker 2: No, for real, for real? I thought you were thirty five.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Okay, I get that a lot.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Way.
- 11:39Speaker 3: No, she would post like some like little clips and
- 11:42Speaker 3: stuff where she would kind of be like talking shit
- 11:44Speaker 3: about her family, but that was it, like just like
- 11:46Speaker 3: little bits here and there, but it was the majority
- 11:49Speaker 3: of the podcast was just her and her friend talking
- 11:51Speaker 3: about how to parent toddlers.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yeah, like I don't want to hear that.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Well, I personally don't want to hear that. And I
- 11:56Speaker 1: think that there are one million other podcasts that do
- 11:59Speaker 1: that and do that better. And we're just kind of
- 12:03Speaker 1: tired of people just talking about nothing on the internet
- 12:06Speaker 1: except for us, well for us.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I mean, everybody thinks that they can do a podcast.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I swear to everybody has a podcast.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Yeah right, but we've been doing it for three years.
- 12:17Speaker 1: This is our two hundred and I want to say
- 12:19Speaker 1: sixteenth episode.
- 12:21Speaker 2: God damn. We're dedicated.
- 12:22Speaker 1: We are dedicaated. We have youtubell, we have a Patreo,
- 12:24Speaker 1: we are doing the damn thing. I'm not trying to
- 12:26Speaker 1: hate or anything, but it takes commitment. You got to
- 12:28Speaker 1: show up, I got to go to your house, drive
- 12:30Speaker 1: you over here, all of that. But it takes work.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You got to plan this shit out, and then you
- 12:33Speaker 1: got other communities that are tied to this community. It
- 12:35Speaker 1: is a whole global system. Yeah, but you have to
- 12:38Speaker 1: think about so. I think Maddie probably just thought maybe
- 12:42Speaker 1: it would just all happen for her. Yeah, maybe she's
- 12:45Speaker 1: seeing mckelt on Patreon and maybe they're making a lot
- 12:49Speaker 1: of money. Do that, Yeah, do Patreon. But like you
- 12:52Speaker 1: have to be willing, though, to tell stories and to
- 12:55Speaker 1: give examples, to be honest, to be honest with people.
- 12:58Speaker 1: And if what you're gonna do is just drop like
- 13:00Speaker 1: pepper sprinkle fairy dust in like a little bit of
- 13:03Speaker 1: the truths that we already know, we're bored of it
- 13:06Speaker 1: for sure.
- 13:06Speaker 3: And like, look, I get it. If you don't want
- 13:08Speaker 3: to create more drama and stuff like, that's totally fine.
- 13:11Speaker 3: It's cool that she wants to focus on her family
- 13:12Speaker 3: and friends, But don't start a fucking podcast and calling
- 13:16Speaker 3: it the authentic society when you're not really authentic.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Yeah, when you're not saying the things that you know
- 13:21Speaker 1: we want to hear. The people who are listening are
- 13:24Speaker 1: rabbid raccoons in the dumpster for TLC.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And they would have made so much money if she.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Was just trashing where to God.
- 13:32Speaker 3: If she pulled up the text receipts and all this
- 13:35Speaker 3: stuff about Robin.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Oh my god, the group chat for Christmas, if she
- 13:40Speaker 1: released the screenshots, that would have been so great. As
- 13:42Speaker 1: I live and breathe, Beatrice, I would be so satisfied.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Like, you're no contact with these people, what do you
- 13:49Speaker 2: gotta lose?
- 13:49Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't mean nothing. I think she's
- 13:52Speaker 1: maybe trying to be a bit protective for Janelle Lame.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I don't know, but like you're almost thirty or you're thirty, Like,
- 13:59Speaker 1: just start telling the truth. These people are averse to
- 14:02Speaker 1: telling the truth.
- 14:04Speaker 2: They are, all right.
- 14:05Speaker 1: The last bit of it's not necessarily a newsworthy item.
- 14:09Speaker 1: It could be entirely misinformation or disinformation. But somebody made
- 14:16Speaker 1: a post on Reddit recently speaking with some authority about
- 14:22Speaker 1: what happened between McKelty and Robin. Now we cannot verify
- 14:27Speaker 1: the veracity of this it's reddite, but I did think
- 14:31Speaker 1: it was important because we've actually talked about this before,
- 14:34Speaker 1: so I wanted to share it. Okay. This post is
- 14:38Speaker 1: titled rumor about mchelt Robin split. It is also posted
- 14:44Speaker 1: by a user Wonderful Guidance six. This user says, please
- 14:48Speaker 1: delete if this isn't allowed or has already been discussed.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Just saw a TikTok from the Sarah Fraser Show. In it,
- 14:56Speaker 1: she says that the reason the split occurred is because
- 14:59Speaker 1: rob been asked multiple of the OG thirteen, which would
- 15:04Speaker 1: be the kids, multiple members about Garrison's will. If this
- 15:09Speaker 1: is true, the bloody audacity of that woman, Oh my god.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I mean, we've kind of talked about like the possibility
- 15:19Speaker 3: of their falling out being because of Garrison or something
- 15:23Speaker 3: that was talked about with Garrison. But for if it's
- 15:27Speaker 3: actually Robin asking about his will to multiple members of
- 15:30Speaker 3: the family to try and see what her cut of
- 15:33Speaker 3: it's gonna be.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 15:35Speaker 1: This woman is evil, diabolical, so crazy, demonic, like straight
- 15:39Speaker 1: up principalities and powers. Now, I don't know who this
- 15:42Speaker 1: Sarah Fraser person is. I've never listened to this person podcast.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I don't know when she said that if she had receipts, timelines.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I don't know if she had any evidence whatsoever, but
- 15:52Speaker 1: it does kind of click in about right, yeah, vibrationally speaking,
- 15:56Speaker 1: like I was wondering if maybe McKelty was just sick
- 15:59Speaker 1: of the fact that none of the kids showed up,
- 16:01Speaker 1: Certainly none of the adult kids in Robin's family showed up. Yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: that might have been enough for her to say, fuck it,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I don't want to do this anymore. But in addition
- 16:11Speaker 1: to that, to then have Robin allegedly asking sniffing around
- 16:16Speaker 1: about Garrison's will, that is entirely crazy. That's a woman
- 16:20Speaker 1: who was so self deluded, cannot read a room, and
- 16:24Speaker 1: it's so proximate in the timeline to Garrison's actual passing
- 16:28Speaker 1: that she just she would have absolutely no heart, honey,
- 16:31Speaker 1: absolutely none none.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Like what the actual fuck? And did they go to
- 16:37Speaker 3: the actual funeral ceremony?
- 16:40Speaker 2: I forgot?
- 16:40Speaker 3: Like, wasn't there pictures of codyum Robin there?
- 16:44Speaker 1: We saw photos, all of us saw photos from the
- 16:47Speaker 1: memorial that I think the military put on. But there
- 16:51Speaker 1: was a separate service, which was a funeral, and I'm
- 16:55Speaker 1: not sure whether the kids were there I'm just going
- 16:58Speaker 1: to assume that they weren't, because if they went to that,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I don't know why they wouldn't go to this one, right,
- 17:03Speaker 1: But yeah, it's just really really unfortunate. And that just
- 17:07Speaker 1: got me thinking, like, Okay, so I know Janelle just
- 17:11Speaker 1: recently sold the condo for Garrison. I think it sold
- 17:15Speaker 1: for four hundred some odd thousand dollars. I'm sure he
- 17:17Speaker 1: had a mortgage on it, so I'm not sure what
- 17:19Speaker 1: the equity would be, but I'm just wondering if she
- 17:21Speaker 1: was sniffing around about that too, just like the gall
- 17:25Speaker 1: and the audacity you would have to have when Garrison
- 17:28Speaker 1: was so on the outs with his dad, Yeah, and
- 17:31Speaker 1: so deeply hurt to think that you would still have
- 17:33Speaker 1: some kind of a financial interest in what he left
- 17:36Speaker 1: behind after you hurt him so much.
- 17:38Speaker 3: I mean really like and the nature of his death,
- 17:41Speaker 3: and you're going to really ask about that right now?
- 17:43Speaker 1: Oh my god, wild I.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Would have slapped that bitch across the face.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean, and if I were McKelty and
- 17:48Speaker 1: anybody else in that family, I would just never ever
- 17:51Speaker 1: ever talk to her ever or him again.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yep.
- 17:54Speaker 1: So again, we cannot verify the veracity of that. I
- 17:57Speaker 1: don't know who Sarah Frasier is, but I just thought
- 17:59Speaker 1: that was interesting and in my opinion, completely believable.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Oh totally. Yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 1: All right, now without any further ado, having gotten that
- 18:08Speaker 1: all out, yeah, let's get into the most recent episode,
- 18:13Speaker 1: which is season nineteen, episode sixteen.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Entitled Time to Weep, Time to Laugh.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Okay, So we.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Had like three major sections. We had Cody and Robin
- 18:23Speaker 3: doing their ATV thing, Mary cutting up her coil to
- 18:27Speaker 3: Cody with Jin, and then Christine and David's wedding special
- 18:31Speaker 3: that we've already seen.
- 18:32Speaker 1: M the entire thing, like actual footage that we have
- 18:36Speaker 1: already seen. Yeah, Like it would be it would be
- 18:38Speaker 1: different if maybe there was some b roll stuff going
- 18:42Speaker 1: on and it were right different if we didn't already
- 18:44Speaker 1: see them have the mimosas and the facials and have
- 18:47Speaker 1: Christine sitting down with David at the B and B. Like,
- 18:50Speaker 1: but we've seen this, We've literally.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Seen, literally seen it already. Like I thought it was
- 18:56Speaker 3: going to be different footage from the wedding special, but
- 18:59Speaker 3: they just didn't.
- 19:00Speaker 2: But no, it's literally the same.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I just it's crazy. And then you're manufacturing drama with
- 19:06Speaker 1: avalonone when she was over there with her grandma the
- 19:09Speaker 1: entire time, and we're worried about the river and how fast,
- 19:14Speaker 1: how fast it's moving. It's just, oh, Lord Jesus, so
- 19:17Speaker 1: stupid when there's so much content you could be producing
- 19:21Speaker 1: and creating that we would love to hear and see.
- 19:25Speaker 3: But next week we're going to see them get married
- 19:28Speaker 3: and Christine grind up on David again that we've already said.
- 19:33Speaker 1: And the thing is, if you look at the ratings,
- 19:35Speaker 1: you will be able to see that about the same
- 19:38Speaker 1: amount of people that watch weekly the show, we're also
- 19:41Speaker 1: watching the Christine and David wedding special. Yeah, so it's
- 19:43Speaker 1: the exact same audience. So you're putting all of us
- 19:46Speaker 1: through it again knowingly because you know we already thought it.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's ridiculous.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Oh got it, chaps, my high my hyde.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Well, well, let's start with the best part, which was
- 19:58Speaker 3: Robin getting thrown off the TV.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Is her neck broken? I don't know, Let me yank
- 20:04Speaker 1: this helmet off of her head and further injure her.
- 20:06Speaker 1: He's so dumb. You don't move people's neck around and
- 20:10Speaker 1: there's fine around if they've had an injury.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Dummy, take the helmet off either, like yanking it off pop.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I know it was crazy.
- 20:17Speaker 3: In his talking head, he's like, she could have been
- 20:19Speaker 3: injured so bad. We shouldn't we could have gotten a
- 20:21Speaker 3: life light sho. It's like the same thing with COVID
- 20:27Speaker 3: where he's like I saw the Grim Reaper, like, you're
- 20:29Speaker 3: so fucking.
- 20:30Speaker 1: And he showed his actual thermometer and it was like
- 20:33Speaker 1: ninety nine point six or something stupid like that, So ridiculous.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So they're out on Coyote Pass. Yeah, they're gonna have
- 20:40Speaker 1: like this fun out on the four wheelers. I'm just
- 20:44Speaker 1: thinking to myself, isn't that how Dayton injured himself? Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: and injured his eye when he was out with Cody specifically,
- 20:52Speaker 1: and Cody wasn't taking care of him and wasn't watching
- 20:54Speaker 1: the kids properly, so he injured himself an injury he's
- 20:57Speaker 1: gonna have for the rest of his life. Then we
- 20:59Speaker 1: have Rob been talking about. I mean, I love getting
- 21:02Speaker 1: on the four wheelers, but I love having done. I
- 21:04Speaker 1: won't tell my kids all the crazy things that I've
- 21:06Speaker 1: done because I'm so protactive over my children and I
- 21:09Speaker 1: don't want them to do these things. I'm like okay,
- 21:11Speaker 1: but Dayton has already lost an eye, I know, like
- 21:13Speaker 1: Dan has already injured himself for the rest of his life, honey.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you get flown off the fright TV.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I'm sorry, and it's like so, and it.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Was very dangerous because Cody's coming this way and she
- 21:26Speaker 1: just zips right in front of him and then goes
- 21:27Speaker 1: up over the ail and flies off. Yeah, it could
- 21:29Speaker 1: have been a lot worse.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Well, and people on Reddit are saying it was staged,
- 21:33Speaker 3: which I could kind of see something like that because
- 21:35Speaker 3: Cody says when he's like braiding Robin, like, why would
- 21:39Speaker 3: you do that?
- 21:39Speaker 2: It was so crazy? This is so stupid.
- 21:41Speaker 3: He's like yelling at her as he's taking off her helmet,
- 21:43Speaker 3: worrying about her broken neck.
- 21:45Speaker 2: And he's like, yeah, it was so crazy. Why you
- 21:48Speaker 2: would do that?
- 21:48Speaker 3: It looked like you did it on purpose. And then
- 21:50Speaker 3: it cuts to the next scene and so people think
- 21:53Speaker 3: they did that on purpose.
- 21:55Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 21:55Speaker 1: She really seemed to go flying off that ATV.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I don't know, girl, but he just stopped.
- 22:00Speaker 1: It didn't keep going exactly, it didn't land on her
- 22:03Speaker 1: anything like that. So I don't I don't really know.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Sorry, I don't mean to laugh yet.
- 22:07Speaker 1: We don't want anybody to be hurt, but like, this
- 22:09Speaker 1: is what's passing its content, and Cody, you're so stupid.
- 22:14Speaker 3: So dumb.
- 22:16Speaker 1: So after that, he gets her all together and she's
- 22:18Speaker 1: all bedraggled and her hair's all crazy and she's like
- 22:21Speaker 1: looking in the mirror to try and fix her hair.
- 22:23Speaker 1: They take those four wheelers up the hills that they
- 22:26Speaker 1: can watch the sunset through the quivering, quaking aspect romantic
- 22:30Speaker 1: and immediately launch into a conversation about how crazy Cody
- 22:34Speaker 1: has become. Yeah, and is he sure he didn't want
- 22:37Speaker 1: Janelle no more?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Are you sure?
- 22:39Speaker 4: Are you sure?
- 22:40Speaker 1: And of course we get to the question about whether
- 22:42Speaker 1: Robin's okay with being in a monogamous relationship.
- 22:45Speaker 3: With This conversation was so fucking weird. I'm like, this
- 22:48Speaker 3: was so scripted, But then at the same time, like
- 22:51Speaker 3: Cody to me was coming off kind of genuine because
- 22:53Speaker 3: he's like telling Robin over and over and over again,
- 22:57Speaker 3: all of these wives, all of them are gone and
- 23:00Speaker 3: everybody's moved on. I've never loved any of them. I
- 23:03Speaker 3: only love you because you're the one that showed me
- 23:05Speaker 3: true divine love and I hate everybody else, and that's it, Like,
- 23:10Speaker 3: let's be a monogamoist.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but I found it really fascinating that Robin said
- 23:17Speaker 1: some base things to him that are clearly very true.
- 23:20Speaker 1: For example, well, you seem to be rewriting history, though,
- 23:24Speaker 1: like I know that you loved your wives when you
- 23:26Speaker 1: married them, right, And she actually gets him to admit
- 23:30Speaker 1: they're on the mountain, like, yeah, I loved my wives,
- 23:32Speaker 1: but please don't make me compare, right, But then she
- 23:36Speaker 1: keeps pushing him as if her ultimate intention was to
- 23:40Speaker 1: get him to compare and actually to say the words
- 23:43Speaker 1: out loud. Well, I mean I loved them, but I
- 23:46Speaker 1: never love them the way that I love you, which
- 23:49Speaker 1: is something that he's been saying for I don't know
- 23:50Speaker 1: how many seasons now. Yeah, but it's almost like she
- 23:53Speaker 1: wanted him to say it again. She wanted to hear
- 23:56Speaker 1: it again. Yeah, Or the alternative of that would be
- 24:00Speaker 1: she really does think that he loved his wives, and
- 24:03Speaker 1: the things that he's been saying have been hurtful and harmful,
- 24:06Speaker 1: and she wants him to retract it and make it right.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I don't know which what do we think Robin's doing
- 24:10Speaker 1: here in this moment.
- 24:11Speaker 3: It's so hard to tell because for me, I kind
- 24:14Speaker 3: of got the impression that she was trying to get
- 24:16Speaker 3: him to admit and say like I shouldn't have said
- 24:19Speaker 3: these things blah blah blah. But it's Cody Brown, so
- 24:22Speaker 3: he can't really do that. He even like lets something
- 24:25Speaker 3: split like slip out, where he says something to the
- 24:28Speaker 3: effect of like, yeah, I know, even with you, I've
- 24:30Speaker 3: gotten un heated arguments where I've threatened to leave you,
- 24:33Speaker 3: but I don't mean that, and I'm very sorry for that.
- 24:35Speaker 3: So like he'll apologize to Robin for saying hein as
- 24:38Speaker 3: shit like that, but then everything else, like when she
- 24:41Speaker 3: accuses him of rewriting history, he's like, well, yeah, but
- 24:44Speaker 3: Mary did.
- 24:44Speaker 1: That first, right, Yes, I am a flip flopper, yeah,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and yes I say different things, and yes I obviously
- 24:51Speaker 1: am rewriting history. But like Mary doesn't choo, so it
- 24:53Speaker 1: doesn't matter.
- 24:55Speaker 2: You're okay. This is not.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Really how that works. Like the whole conversation starts because
- 24:59Speaker 1: when they get to the top of the mountain, he
- 25:01Speaker 1: comes to her as if he was going to say
- 25:03Speaker 1: something romantic, and then she's like, well, did you want
- 25:05Speaker 1: to say something? And he's just like, ah, well, never mind,
- 25:08Speaker 1: and she's like, yeah, there was a time when you
- 25:11Speaker 1: would have been romantic, but you're different now. Yeah, things
- 25:14Speaker 1: have changed. And we get kind of the same talking
- 25:17Speaker 1: points about how this is all affected Cody, and then
- 25:21Speaker 1: he says again that his family kept him from his goals.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, got in his way.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Got in his way. Robin like tries in that moment
- 25:30Speaker 1: to be like, don't say that. That sounds really terrible,
- 25:33Speaker 1: but he's like, but they did, Like I wanted the
- 25:35Speaker 1: one house, and we had like this vision for our life,
- 25:38Speaker 1: and nobody wanted to do it. And at that point,
- 25:41Speaker 1: by the time we're in Flagstaff and I'm getting all
- 25:43Speaker 1: this resistance, I'm just like I don't care anymore. And
- 25:47Speaker 1: this is where we have Robin on the couch saying
- 25:49Speaker 1: something like, yeah, Cody changed, but everybody changed, and then
- 25:54Speaker 1: she corrects that and she's like, well, actually it wasn't me.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I didn't change. No, I've always been an angel, bit
- 25:59Speaker 1: I've always been over here trying to support the fear,
- 26:02Speaker 1: of course, but Mary and Christine and Janelle, they're the
- 26:06Speaker 1: ones who changed.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like, okay, there's the real motive there. Absolutely, Yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 3: and that's what made me realize. I'm like, Okay, this
- 26:13Speaker 3: is a script. This is something that they put on together.
- 26:16Speaker 3: And Cody still like can't help but put his foot
- 26:19Speaker 3: in his mouth, Like I feel like they have this plan.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Cody and Robin, they're like, look, this is what we're
- 26:23Speaker 3: gonna say on Coyote Pass because we have to change
- 26:26Speaker 3: our image. We want people to like us. We gotta
- 26:29Speaker 3: fix this shit. And then Cody goes out there and
- 26:32Speaker 3: says some shit like my family got in the way.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I don't miss anybody. Well, actually, I guess I miss
- 26:38Speaker 3: the love for my children, but I don't miss anybody else.
- 26:40Speaker 1: But did you see how he said that. He didn't
- 26:42Speaker 1: say I miss my kids. I miss spending time with
- 26:46Speaker 1: my family. I miss having a relationship with these people.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I missed their love and adoration and the respect that
- 26:53Speaker 1: I used to get as their father and the priest
- 26:55Speaker 1: of this family. I miss that. But that's how he
- 26:58Speaker 1: worded it.
- 26:59Speaker 2: That's it. That is how he worded it.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Complete narcissist.
- 27:03Speaker 3: It's crazy, And like that's why in the scenes like this,
- 27:06Speaker 3: I can look at how Cody talks to Robin and
- 27:09Speaker 3: how he talks to everybody else, and I'm like, man,
- 27:11Speaker 3: he's probably not good to Robin. Like he's like braiding
- 27:14Speaker 3: her for falling off the fucking ATV. He's like cutting
- 27:17Speaker 3: her off mid sentence in this conversation. A lot, he's
- 27:20Speaker 3: like totally rewriting history and not admitting to anything that
- 27:24Speaker 3: Robin wants him to admit to to rehab his image.
- 27:27Speaker 3: So they probably don't have like the healthiest relationship. But
- 27:30Speaker 3: then at the same time, Robin is such an evil,
- 27:33Speaker 3: manipulative shrew that I just I can't really feel bad
- 27:35Speaker 3: for her. I really can't, No, And you have to.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Wonder why she keeps pushing this relationship with Janelle, because
- 27:42Speaker 1: out of all of the wives, she was probably least
- 27:46Speaker 1: aligned with Janelle. I mean, Janelle was the one who
- 27:48Speaker 1: saw right through her bullshit and doesn't give a fuck no.
- 27:52Speaker 1: And we hear Cody talk about how truly it's been
- 27:56Speaker 1: Robin that's been the one pressuring him to stay in
- 27:59Speaker 1: the relationship with Mary, to stay in this relationship with Janelle,
- 28:03Speaker 1: And we hear him in this conversation out on the
- 28:05Speaker 1: mountain saying, I don't want to like, can you hear
- 28:08Speaker 1: my words I'm speaking to you? Do you understand my words.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I don't want to I only want to be with you.
- 28:14Speaker 1: And then these producers every now and again, I'm less.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm like, yes, bitch, thank you for this. Because they
- 28:19Speaker 1: cut to Janelle on the couch and she's just like, well,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I don't know why he allows himself to be controlled
- 28:24Speaker 1: by Robin. So he feels like he has to stay
- 28:26Speaker 1: in these marriages just because she wants him to. I mean,
- 28:29Speaker 1: sucks to be you whatever, Like that's your shit, for real,
- 28:32Speaker 1: that's your shit.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Then yep, And they also panned to Mary and Mary's like, yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 3: I know that Robin had a hand in keeping or
- 28:38Speaker 3: like trying to force Cody into being in this marriage
- 28:42Speaker 3: with me, so like she even knew what it was.
- 28:45Speaker 3: But then Mary has to, you know, throw Robin a
- 28:48Speaker 3: bone and yeah, but I know she came into this
- 28:50Speaker 3: family with good intentions. I know she wanted a belaying
- 28:52Speaker 3: of his family.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Right, But when she's saying that, I feel like she's
- 28:57Speaker 1: emphasizing that this is how Robin felt when she entered
- 29:01Speaker 1: the family, Like she said this actually two or three times.
- 29:04Speaker 1: This is yeah, this is like the third time she
- 29:06Speaker 1: said that, and this time she did add on that
- 29:09Speaker 1: nothing has changed but I feel like maybe she added
- 29:13Speaker 1: that on biggrudgingly, because I think she knows very well
- 29:16Speaker 1: that something definitely changed. And again, I say, and I
- 29:19Speaker 1: said this last week. If we are listening to Mary's
- 29:22Speaker 1: random friends and everything that they're saying about what they
- 29:25Speaker 1: observed in Vegas in Flagstaff and how Mary was alone,
- 29:30Speaker 1: and how Cody was definitely favoring Robin, then we know
- 29:34Speaker 1: that Mary was feeling.
- 29:35Speaker 2: That too, right.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't understand. I don't understand why she
- 29:40Speaker 1: feels the need to defend them me neither. It's so weird,
- 29:43Speaker 1: it's lame. It's super sick of it, Mary, I know, like,
- 29:47Speaker 1: grow a backbone. You're in your fifties to.
- 29:50Speaker 3: These crackers, it's so annoying. Yes, And then the other
- 29:53Speaker 3: interesting thing that came out of this conversation with Cody
- 29:55Speaker 3: and Robin was Cody talking about his lover that he
- 29:59Speaker 3: had in college where he lost his virginity to some
- 30:02Speaker 3: random bitch. And this is the first time we've ever
- 30:04Speaker 3: heard about it.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Such a non sequitor, like, why are we talking about that?
- 30:07Speaker 3: I don't know, because it was intimacy, but he only
- 30:10Speaker 3: he brought it up to dig at Janelle and Christine,
- 30:13Speaker 3: because he's like the only people that knew about it were.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Mary and Robin.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Robin actually found out about it within the first month
- 30:20Speaker 3: of us dating because they.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Felt so safe with her.
- 30:23Speaker 3: But I never told Christine and Janelle because they were
- 30:26Speaker 3: always unsafe to me. So again, another dig. And it's
- 30:30Speaker 3: like Cody later in the episode said something about Mary,
- 30:33Speaker 3: like how he doesn't want to talk bad about her anymore,
- 30:35Speaker 3: and you know, we should have been divorced long ago.
- 30:39Speaker 3: There was many times where we should have divorced, and
- 30:40Speaker 3: we never did, and we just had a hard marriage entirely.
- 30:44Speaker 3: But I won't talk bad about her. But then he's
- 30:45Speaker 3: doing this and talking shit about Janelle and Christine.
- 30:48Speaker 1: He literally can't help himself.
- 30:50Speaker 2: You really can't.
- 30:50Speaker 1: He cannot help himself. We can't take any ownership for
- 30:53Speaker 1: anything without also placing responsibility on someone else. He cannot
- 30:56Speaker 1: exist in a space where it's just him taking the
- 30:59Speaker 1: hits to the responsibility and saying I'm sorry and this
- 31:02Speaker 1: is my action plan going forward to be a better person.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Because he does not think like that and he does
- 31:06Speaker 1: not care at that level. I thought it was weird
- 31:10Speaker 1: and I want to run this by you that Robin
- 31:13Speaker 1: kept kept bringing up Janelle and are you sure?
- 31:17Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 31:18Speaker 1: I mean, and he would be unequivocal, like he was
- 31:21Speaker 1: being crystal clear throughout the entire conversation, like she doesn't
- 31:24Speaker 1: want me, like she's so over me, Like she feels
- 31:27Speaker 1: about me the way I felt about Mary. Not interested,
- 31:31Speaker 1: She's already gone, Henny, let this go. Like he had
- 31:34Speaker 1: to say that, I don't know, three four, five times,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and then she would bring it up again, like are
- 31:40Speaker 1: you sure? Did Janelle actually say that? And I'm wondering
- 31:44Speaker 1: what this is about, because everything with Robin is being
- 31:47Speaker 1: orchestrated behind the scenes of her dumb mind, her unlit brain,
- 31:52Speaker 1: And I'm wondering why she's doing this. What her money? Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 1: I think I think she is definitely concerned about the
- 31:59Speaker 1: Denaro's right now, honey, about the money and about how
- 32:02Speaker 1: they're going to sustain themselves. I think she's intelligent enough
- 32:06Speaker 1: to know the writing is on the wall, We've got
- 32:09Speaker 1: a limited, finite amount of seasons left, and what are
- 32:12Speaker 1: we gonna do without an income?
- 32:14Speaker 2: And so are you sure? Are you sure? Janelle's God, yeah, please,
- 32:19Speaker 2: can you work it out? Are you sure you can
- 32:20Speaker 2: work it out? Cody's like, fuck, no, we're fucking done.
- 32:24Speaker 3: It's super weird. And I'm also wondering when this scene
- 32:27Speaker 3: was filmed, because I'm like, it's so out of place
- 32:30Speaker 3: after last season when Janelle storms off and tells Cody
- 32:34Speaker 3: fuck you, like it's been done for a really long time.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Even in this point in this season, episode sixteen, it's
- 32:40Speaker 3: like Janelle's like barely in the episodes anymore, Like she's
- 32:44Speaker 3: like doing her own thing.
- 32:45Speaker 1: She's in North carro I wish we'd had more of
- 32:46Speaker 1: Janelle me I'm me too, come on me too.
- 32:49Speaker 3: I'd rather see that than fucking Christine and David. But
- 32:52Speaker 3: it's just like it's it's oddly placed. So I'm wondering
- 32:55Speaker 3: when the timeline was of this whole conversation, because if
- 32:58Speaker 3: it's like a year after Janelle left, like why are
- 33:01Speaker 3: you making this bullshit?
- 33:03Speaker 1: Ub?
- 33:03Speaker 3: Or if it's like recently after Janelle left, then maybe
- 33:07Speaker 3: I could understand why Robin was pressing on it. But
- 33:10Speaker 3: we never know because we get footage pieced together from
- 33:12Speaker 3: the last four years, right.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And you cannot convince me that they haven't already talked
- 33:17Speaker 1: this to death in the privacy of their own McMansion
- 33:20Speaker 1: and that she already knows the answers to this, so
- 33:22Speaker 1: she's really just performing for the cameras and she's trying
- 33:25Speaker 1: to get us to believe something. And honestly, she was
- 33:28Speaker 1: kind of convincing, like she did seem heartbroken. Yeah, I
- 33:31Speaker 1: believed her when she said, I feel stuck and I'm
- 33:35Speaker 1: having an identity crisis, Like I don't know who I
- 33:38Speaker 1: am because I always envisioned myself to be a polygamist
- 33:41Speaker 1: and here I am. That's not the way life worked out.
- 33:45Speaker 1: And Cody at this point is like, well, can you
- 33:48Speaker 1: accept me as a monogamous And I have to say,
- 33:51Speaker 1: and I said this a couple of weeks ago, maybe
- 33:53Speaker 1: when they were at the Bastro in the attic and
- 33:55Speaker 1: they were talking, and the way he's just so sprung
- 33:58Speaker 1: for her, like in this scenely, I can feel how
- 34:01Speaker 1: much he loves her and how much he just wants
- 34:04Speaker 1: to be enough for her. And he kind of talks
- 34:06Speaker 1: about it at the end of this episode when he's
- 34:09Speaker 1: talking about how his other wives didn't think he was
- 34:11Speaker 1: worth it bullshit or didn't think he had worth and
- 34:15Speaker 1: was worthless. So he doesn't want Robin to regard him
- 34:18Speaker 1: that way. But I felt him pleading and asking like
- 34:23Speaker 1: am I enough? Can can me and you be enough?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Because he does not want another woman? No, he only
- 34:29Speaker 1: wants her. Yeah, and I think she doesn't want another
- 34:31Speaker 1: woman either. I don't think she could compete with another woman. Yeah,
- 34:34Speaker 1: I don't think she can run the risk of him
- 34:37Speaker 1: being sprung with another woman because she would lose in
- 34:40Speaker 1: that scenario. So I thought it was kind of dare
- 34:44Speaker 1: I say sweet? Of course, I just kind of like,
- 34:47Speaker 1: he's just like, can I be enough? I felt that
- 34:49Speaker 1: from him. I'm sorry, and I want to apologize for
- 34:51Speaker 1: that editatement, but I felt like it felt earnest to
- 34:53Speaker 1: me and then her like finally having that moment of
- 34:57Speaker 1: just like okay, yeah, I get it, and I'll let
- 35:00Speaker 1: I'll work on that. I mean, wow, these are the
- 35:04Speaker 1: raw materials I have to work. So I'm just gonna like,
- 35:06Speaker 1: I'm just gonna suspend my disbelief and give you my
- 35:09Speaker 1: opinions based on what they showed me.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah, And I mean in this scene, I thought Robin
- 35:13Speaker 3: was more genuine, Like I feel like she was trying
- 35:16Speaker 3: to call him out on his bullshit, like you're rewriting history,
- 35:19Speaker 3: You're saying some really awful things. Like, and Cody even
- 35:21Speaker 3: said in his talking head like Robin was the one
- 35:23Speaker 3: that pushed me to work with Mary. Robin also wanted
- 35:26Speaker 3: me to sleep on Christine's couch when she was wanting
- 35:28Speaker 3: to leave me, and I said, no, fuck that. So
- 35:31Speaker 3: maybe there is a whirl where Robin was trying to
- 35:34Speaker 3: in her weird warped way to like advocate for Cody
- 35:38Speaker 3: to work on things with the wives and stuff, because
- 35:41Speaker 3: I don't think she really wanted this to happen. And again, like,
- 35:43Speaker 3: she probably didn't want this to happen because she wants
- 35:46Speaker 3: the money and she wants.
- 35:47Speaker 1: To be in charge. She wants to be she wants
- 35:49Speaker 1: to be the head bitch in charge. But she still
- 35:51Speaker 1: needs them to be in her orbit because they're the
- 35:53Speaker 1: ones that are funneling into her lifestyle.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Right, it's all about what they can do for her.
- 35:58Speaker 3: And she even kind of says this in her talking
- 35:59Speaker 3: head like, I feel like I've lost my dream and
- 36:02Speaker 3: what I am visioned for my life. Like it's not
- 36:05Speaker 3: about like the death of all these marriages and the
- 36:08Speaker 3: breakup of the family. It's about her identity crisis. It's
- 36:11Speaker 3: about her dream being lost, right, sad like pathetic and
- 36:15Speaker 3: then Cody talks about like, well, we have to have
- 36:17Speaker 3: our new dream, and then this is like where he
- 36:20Speaker 3: kind of brings up like we have to get out
- 36:22Speaker 3: of this place, like we have to get out.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Of this They start setting up the ultimate move because
- 36:26Speaker 1: these people are trying to think like they're they're trying
- 36:29Speaker 1: to play chess when they're really playing checkers, and we
- 36:31Speaker 1: can see there, we can telegraph their moves. But what
- 36:34Speaker 1: they're trying to do is get us prepared for the
- 36:37Speaker 1: ultimate sale of the mcmasion because they know when we
- 36:40Speaker 1: see how much they're going to sell that house for,
- 36:44Speaker 1: we're going to be up in arms. That's going to
- 36:47Speaker 1: bring into the light the disparity in terms of income
- 36:49Speaker 1: and property and assets, and everybody's going to know. So
- 36:52Speaker 1: they're trying to set it up now so that it
- 36:54Speaker 1: makes sense, like I want to move to Europe. I
- 36:56Speaker 1: just want to go to Switzerland. I want to be
- 36:59Speaker 1: with my beautiful girls. Won't I fit in Switzerland? That's
- 37:02Speaker 1: so crazy, You're so dumb. But what they're really doing
- 37:05Speaker 1: is letting us know that they're going to upgrade to
- 37:08Speaker 1: an even big girl o house.
- 37:10Speaker 2: God, I hate them so much, even.
- 37:12Speaker 1: More lavish lifestyle.
- 37:14Speaker 2: I literally hate them.
- 37:15Speaker 1: They're so hateable.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Oh my god, they're the worst people.
- 37:18Speaker 1: It's so terrible, like when they're just riding around on
- 37:21Speaker 1: these four wheelers. God my god. And Janelle was in
- 37:24Speaker 1: her RV like in the rim, which wasn't level on
- 37:27Speaker 1: the ground dorm park had to go her own water hoody.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I'm just like the disparity, it's so bad.
- 37:34Speaker 3: And his whole Europe comment like I want to go
- 37:36Speaker 3: there so I don't have to see or feel or
- 37:38Speaker 3: deal with any of this.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Right, Like, oh my god, you suck.
- 37:41Speaker 1: That's sorry. Yep, I'm sorry. I'm just like, it's just
- 37:45Speaker 1: like be an adult. I mean really like, you did
- 37:47Speaker 1: some shit, maybe didn't do all the shit, although I
- 37:49Speaker 1: would maintain you did all the shit. Maybe you didn't
- 37:51Speaker 1: do all of it, but you did a lot of it.
- 37:53Speaker 1: So own it and try to fix it, Like, don't
- 37:55Speaker 1: just run away. And you think you're gonna go to Europe.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I know you, mister kewan On, mister Maga, mister Republican,
- 38:03Speaker 1: you're gonna go to Switzerland. You're gonna go to France.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I don't think so. No, the culture is quite different.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. Although I mean somebody did comment on
- 38:11Speaker 3: our Patreon where his instagram borrow where we go one,
- 38:14Speaker 3: where we go? All, Yeah, it's actually something he used
- 38:16Speaker 3: to say on the show.
- 38:17Speaker 2: It's not a Q reference.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Well, Q says that, And I don't know how long
- 38:22Speaker 1: Q and the cult of that personality has been around
- 38:25Speaker 1: before they were officially qan on. I'm wondering if they're
- 38:27Speaker 1: like the Tea Party. I'm just wondering. That's logan has
- 38:29Speaker 1: very much been associated for quite some time. But maybe
- 38:32Speaker 1: it's not QAnon. But is it such a stretch to think,
- 38:35Speaker 1: I mean that he was totally into QAnon and he
- 38:38Speaker 1: thought that what did they think was going to happen
- 38:41Speaker 1: in Dallas? Didn't QAnon think that JFK Junior was going
- 38:46Speaker 1: to reappear, that he never died, Yeah, and he was
- 38:49Speaker 1: going to appear in Dallas at some point a couple
- 38:51Speaker 1: of years ago. And that Trump is like the prophetic Messiah.
- 38:56Speaker 2: He was sent here by Jesus.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it's I can see Cody being a part of
- 38:59Speaker 1: that bullshit. Yeah, totally anyway.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Anyway, so then after that whole bullshit with Cody and Robin,
- 39:06Speaker 3: then we have Mary in Parawan cutting up a quilt
- 39:10Speaker 3: that she made for Cody on some anniversary or whatever.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Can't you just see now they're all just trying to
- 39:16Speaker 1: plan content though, Yeah, like this doesn't feel organic to me.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Feels like, okay, well, Cody asks for this, so let's
- 39:22Speaker 1: just create a scene where Gen comes over and we
- 39:24Speaker 1: cut up the quilt and then we talk about shit again.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Just like, so not authentic.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Cody didn't ask for it though. I mean, Cody, I
- 39:31Speaker 3: guess wanted his shirts back, but that really means that
- 39:33Speaker 3: Robin wanted his shirts back.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Why I don't know, well, and the way Cody says
- 39:37Speaker 1: it as well. When I married Mary, she all of
- 39:40Speaker 1: a sudden took game to control over all of my things,
- 39:44Speaker 1: and so she took like special artifacts and sentimental things
- 39:48Speaker 1: and she got it all, but none of the other
- 39:49Speaker 1: wives did. Well, what if some of my other wives
- 39:51Speaker 1: want some of these things?
- 39:53Speaker 3: I e.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Robin, Like, Robin is the only wife that's left who
- 39:57Speaker 1: would be asking for your dumb jersey when you rust
- 40:00Speaker 1: old in high school as a flamboyantly gay wrestler.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe that's his first gay lover. Maybe he lost
- 40:06Speaker 3: his virginity to do guy. Maybe he got pigged by
- 40:09Speaker 3: a guy.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Flamboyantly gay wrestling.
- 40:13Speaker 1: So she wants his jersey or whatever. But like it's
- 40:16Speaker 1: in a quilt, so it's not gonna be an intact jersey.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Well, but Robin wants it for the memory. And she's
- 40:21Speaker 2: a hoarder, Okay, she has a bona fide.
- 40:24Speaker 4: It's gonna be a.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Scrap picking yeah, for sure, craft room a scrap of it.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Yeah, they're gonna have their whole sex room with all
- 40:30Speaker 3: of their little stuff, all of their yeldos and sex
- 40:32Speaker 3: wings and everything, and she'll put off all of his
- 40:34Speaker 3: memorabilia and the weird photos that she has superimposed his
- 40:38Speaker 3: face and her face on from the other families. Like, yeah,
- 40:41Speaker 3: that's Robin's dream.
- 40:43Speaker 1: So I don't think Cody's asking. I just can't see
- 40:47Speaker 1: how Cody would want like the rags left behind after
- 40:52Speaker 1: she made a quilt, Like, I mean, it's not like
- 40:55Speaker 1: an intact item of a piece of clothing. I don't
- 40:58Speaker 1: understand anyway. So Mary and Jen set about to deconstruct
- 41:03Speaker 1: this booty ass, dumb ass quilt, and in doing so,
- 41:06Speaker 1: we have a couple of morsels I think that are
- 41:08Speaker 1: worth talking about. First and foremost, Mary tells Jen that
- 41:14Speaker 1: twenty years into her relationship with Cody, and this was
- 41:17Speaker 1: happening in Vegas during the rentals. So we're in season one,
- 41:21Speaker 1: we're in season two, yeah, one two, one two. So
- 41:24Speaker 1: at the very beginning, Cody said to her, you have
- 41:28Speaker 1: put me through twenty years of pain and discomfort, and
- 41:33Speaker 1: I basically hate you, and so I'm going to now
- 41:36Speaker 1: put you through twenty years of pain and suffering and
- 41:39Speaker 1: discomfort because you've been such a complete bitch to me.
- 41:43Speaker 1: And Mary almost proudly says, well, I didn't actually stay
- 41:48Speaker 1: for twenty years, did I? Oh, I'm sorry. You stayed
- 41:50Speaker 1: for thirteen years. Okay, you stay for fifteen years after
- 41:53Speaker 1: your husband made a declarative statement that he hates you
- 41:56Speaker 1: that much that he's going to make your life a
- 41:57Speaker 1: living hell. And then I started thinking to myself, bitch,
- 42:03Speaker 1: that's the very beginning of the show. And so we've
- 42:06Speaker 1: talked about how Cody also melted down Mary's ring at
- 42:09Speaker 1: the beginning. We've talked about how toxic this family probably
- 42:14Speaker 1: was from the beginning. Yeah, And so now we have
- 42:17Speaker 1: further evidence that at the very beginning of this show,
- 42:20Speaker 1: shit was shitty in the Brown Household. And still we
- 42:23Speaker 1: had Mary and everybody else tap dancing for their dinner,
- 42:26Speaker 1: pretending polygamy is still awesome.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah, me is still great.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Well Mary thought Maybe Mary thought she was the only
- 42:33Speaker 3: one having problems, and so she was just suffering in silence,
- 42:36Speaker 3: Like maybe she thought that the otherwise were fine and
- 42:39Speaker 3: it was just her that was getting told that bach.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I doubt it.
- 42:43Speaker 3: I mean, obviously, like I think they were all having
- 42:45Speaker 3: problems except for Cody and Robin. But like I feel
- 42:47Speaker 3: like Mary is so dumb, and I feel like she
- 42:50Speaker 3: thought it was just her and Cody having these issues.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I don't. I think Mary knew the whole family was
- 42:56Speaker 1: probably falling apart. I think Mary was clocking what Robin
- 43:00Speaker 1: was doing. I think that, if anything, Mary and Cody
- 43:06Speaker 1: had at least some sort of a friendship, Like he
- 43:09Speaker 1: probably went over to her house from time to time
- 43:11Speaker 1: and told him her all the tea about Christine and Janelle.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Probably not Robin, So I think Mary probably knew more
- 43:19Speaker 1: than that everybody was happy. I think it's a matter
- 43:22Speaker 1: of pride. You're on the national stage. You started this
- 43:26Speaker 1: by pretending that polygamy is a viable way to exist
- 43:29Speaker 1: in relationship with other people. You are promoting this lifestyle,
- 43:33Speaker 1: and within the first year it's all completely false and fabricated.
- 43:37Speaker 1: And so because of your pride and maybe your shame,
- 43:41Speaker 1: you have to continue to put up with this act.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Or maybe she had a hope that it would get better.
- 43:45Speaker 3: I mean, this is Mary we're talking about.
- 43:47Speaker 1: But it's just such a lie.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Oh well, yeah, but it's a lie she's telling herself.
- 43:51Speaker 3: It's not just a lie for us, it's a lie.
- 43:53Speaker 3: She's telling herself that, like, maybe if I do all
- 43:55Speaker 3: these things, maybe if I complete this list, he'll love me.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Maybe I'll be worth of it, worth his love. So
- 44:00Speaker 3: it's actually pretty fucking sad empathetic because it's Mary just
- 44:04Speaker 3: sitting there groveling at Cody's feet for fifteen years, hoping
- 44:08Speaker 3: that he'll change his mind.
- 44:10Speaker 1: M M.
- 44:11Speaker 3: And I think she probably believed that when he said
- 44:13Speaker 3: that shit to her, like, oh, you were such a
- 44:15Speaker 3: horrible fucking bitch to me for twenty years, so I'm
- 44:18Speaker 3: gonna treat you like ask because that's what you deserve.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and she does concede, actually yeah, in her talking head,
- 44:25Speaker 1: but also to Jen, she's like, I acknowledge, like I
- 44:27Speaker 1: wasn't the best person to live with and that got
- 44:31Speaker 1: me to remembering, and I just saw it on Reddit
- 44:33Speaker 1: to where Michelti, within the last six months or so,
- 44:36Speaker 1: on her Patreon with her husband said she alleged that
- 44:42Speaker 1: Mary had actually been verbally and physically abusive to Cody. Oh,
- 44:46Speaker 1: really verbally and physically physically abusive to Cody. I don't
- 44:50Speaker 1: know if somebody asked the question and she danced around it,
- 44:53Speaker 1: but that was definitely the implication. And so if Mary
- 44:56Speaker 1: was actually in a relationship and in those early years,
- 44:59Speaker 1: if she was physical, or if she was completely crashing
- 45:02Speaker 1: out because of Janelle and because of Christine, like I
- 45:07Speaker 1: could see how she maybe traumatized him. And now that
- 45:10Speaker 1: he's got his beautiful, shy wife, like he could, he
- 45:13Speaker 1: has an opportunity to put her in her place. And
- 45:15Speaker 1: so maybe she knew. Okay, well, maybe I deserve that
- 45:18Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I guess maybe.
- 45:19Speaker 3: But I mean, if you were married to Cody Brown,
- 45:21Speaker 3: wouldn't you be physically.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Abusive to him?
- 45:24Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to be, but I probably I was
- 45:26Speaker 1: so unhappy with you. I was watching reality T squad
- 45:32Speaker 1: is that what it is? And I didn't watch the
- 45:34Speaker 1: whole thing, but she was talking about a conspiracy theory
- 45:37Speaker 1: where she actually thinks that Cody married Janelle to get
- 45:40Speaker 1: back at Mary because Mary was jealous, Mary was territorial,
- 45:46Speaker 1: and Mary was doing whatever Mary was doing in those
- 45:48Speaker 1: early years. And I think it was a two or
- 45:50Speaker 1: three year gap between when he married Mary and when
- 45:53Speaker 1: he married Janelle. So she thinks he actually brought Janelle in, like,
- 45:58Speaker 1: and remember Janelle was married to Mary's brother. Yeah, right,
- 46:01Speaker 1: so and Janelle and him, we're gonna get married on
- 46:04Speaker 1: Mary's birthday, right, So it kind of does feel pretty
- 46:07Speaker 1: punitive in that way.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Oh my god, that is so terrible.
- 46:11Speaker 1: It is terrible. But I could see it. Wow, I
- 46:14Speaker 1: could see it. So anyway, she's deconstructing this quilt and
- 46:18Speaker 1: she's like, you know, I have no problem sending him
- 46:21Speaker 1: his things. I don't sleep under this quilt. I don't
- 46:23Speaker 1: want his ratty ass, dumb ass, flamboyantly gay wrestler shirt.
- 46:27Speaker 1: He can have it back. Yeah, And Jen just seems
- 46:31Speaker 1: to think that it was really horrible that he would
- 46:34Speaker 1: say those things to her. She also mentioned she alluded
- 46:39Speaker 1: to the list.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Yeah, she brought up the list.
- 46:41Speaker 1: She alluded to him saying that he needed her to
- 46:45Speaker 1: do a few things, and then we actually have Cody
- 46:47Speaker 1: addressing this on the couch.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Yeah, he straight up says that the list that he
- 46:51Speaker 3: gave Mary was to fix things about her that he
- 46:55Speaker 3: didn't like about.
- 46:55Speaker 2: It right right, which is just fucking crazy.
- 46:59Speaker 1: What do you think was on that list that he
- 47:00Speaker 1: didn't like?
- 47:00Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe her stretch marks straight up and
- 47:05Speaker 3: that ship in season fun when they were going to
- 47:08Speaker 3: the gym and Mary was weighing herself on that scale
- 47:12Speaker 3: and she felt terrible about her body.
- 47:14Speaker 1: No, yeah, you can't get rid of stretch marks.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I know, but you know he was like, you got
- 47:20Speaker 2: stretch marks.
- 47:21Speaker 1: You're a bit Oh my god, that's I'm just saying
- 47:24Speaker 1: so dastardly. I was thinking, maybe it's like your attitude
- 47:27Speaker 1: or the way you interact with these kids and this,
- 47:31Speaker 1: that and the other. I did not think it was
- 47:33Speaker 1: about her.
- 47:33Speaker 2: You need to learn to break.
- 47:36Speaker 1: It's like and if you could wear some diesel gees wild.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:40Speaker 1: And so Mary then says like she did all of
- 47:42Speaker 1: the things, everything that he wanted, and then at the
- 47:45Speaker 1: end of that he was still just not interested.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, because it was just busy work.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Because he's like, yeah, here, fucking do this and leave
- 47:53Speaker 1: me alone. If five years, take your time, continue to
- 47:56Speaker 1: give me all of your money and attention funnel into
- 47:59Speaker 1: the LC and we'll see what happens.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's sad.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Honestly, I'm like, Mary, come on, I'm glad you're out
- 48:05Speaker 3: of this now. I hope you find somebody who actually
- 48:08Speaker 3: thinks that you're cool.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and you don't beat well.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I actually liked when she said, and I'm paraphrasing here,
- 48:17Speaker 1: that her perception of herself did not hinge on what
- 48:22Speaker 1: Cody thought of her. Like right, he can think that
- 48:23Speaker 1: whatever he wants to think, but like you're not. It's
- 48:25Speaker 1: a non negotiable. You are not going to take away
- 48:27Speaker 1: from the way that I feel about myself. I feel
- 48:29Speaker 1: great about myself. And she even says to Jen, I'm happy,
- 48:32Speaker 1: like I'm doing great.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I hope. I hope she means that me too.
- 48:36Speaker 3: I hope she's not lying, and I'm like, still lying, Yeah,
- 48:38Speaker 3: eating ice cream and crying herself to sleep. I really
- 48:41Speaker 3: hope that she also says she doesn't cuddle with the quilt,
- 48:43Speaker 3: which I thought was an interesting little tip. I'm like,
- 48:46Speaker 3: do you though I can see it?
- 48:48Speaker 1: Because you're saying you don't probably means you do exactly,
- 48:51Speaker 1: or that you.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Did yeah exactly.
- 48:54Speaker 3: And then last but not at least, we have Christine
- 48:55Speaker 3: and David's wedding stuff, and you know what, I don't care.
- 48:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been hard pressed to remember anything of import
- 49:03Speaker 1: other than everybody being afraid about avalon. But that was
- 49:08Speaker 1: like such a nothing.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Burgers stupid running around with the dramatic music.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Where did she go? Did she get stuffed in the river? Oh,
- 49:13Speaker 2: she's with her grandma.
- 49:15Speaker 1: I know, she's my grandmother. The entire time, it's just
- 49:20Speaker 1: such a disservice to the fans and the people who watch.
- 49:22Speaker 1: But like, I'm just used to it. We're in episode sixteen.
- 49:25Speaker 1: We've been doing it the entire time, and again now
- 49:28Speaker 1: we are just literally going through the same footage with
- 49:32Speaker 1: just like additional commentary, and it sucks so bad.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Who was it?
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think it was Sister or Wives or ex wives
- 49:40Speaker 1: of Sister Wives or whatever on ig I forget the
- 49:41Speaker 1: name of the account. I'm sorry, but they posted something
- 49:44Speaker 1: like I would rather watch Cody and Robin than one
- 49:47Speaker 1: more second of Christine and David's wedding And I hate
- 49:51Speaker 1: watching Cody and Robin. I know we hate these people,
- 49:53Speaker 1: But Christine and David are becoming insufferable, and Mcounty mccounty
- 49:59Speaker 1: inserting herself into every single scene.
- 50:02Speaker 2: I know, it's so ridiculous.
- 50:04Speaker 3: It's like I said in the car ride on the
- 50:06Speaker 3: way here, I was like, you know, it sucks because
- 50:09Speaker 3: I really want to be happy for Christine, and I am.
- 50:11Speaker 3: I'm glad that she found a man to grind up
- 50:13Speaker 3: all on and make out with. That that's fantastic. I'm
- 50:16Speaker 3: glad they're happy. I'm glad she found somebody. But like,
- 50:19Speaker 3: the amount of Christine and David shit that we've had
- 50:22Speaker 3: all season is just so egregious. It just makes me
- 50:27Speaker 3: not interested in it at all anymore. I really don't
- 50:31Speaker 3: even care. I don't even want to see Janelle and
- 50:32Speaker 3: Mary date at this point, because if you're gonna spend
- 50:34Speaker 3: a whole fucking season on this shit.
- 50:36Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, please just end me. I just I
- 50:40Speaker 2: can't do it.
- 50:40Speaker 1: That is a really good point, because a lot of
- 50:42Speaker 1: us are talking about like a branch off show of
- 50:45Speaker 1: some kind, an offshoot, and maybe we could follow Christine
- 50:48Speaker 1: and David and Janelle and Marry around and the kids,
- 50:51Speaker 1: and would that be interesting? But like, if this is
- 50:53Speaker 1: the caliber of content that you're going to be giving us,
- 50:56Speaker 1: like at a really important time in Janelle's life, Mary's life,
- 51:00Speaker 1: and Christine's life, for like a whole host of reasons
- 51:03Speaker 1: that you are not exploring. If this is what you
- 51:05Speaker 1: were choosing to give us, then why would we watch
- 51:08Speaker 1: a show about these women and their career? Come on, Like, I'm.
- 51:12Speaker 3: So over it, me too. And the only thing that
- 51:14Speaker 3: was cool about this whole segment was there's a little
- 51:17Speaker 3: scene on the riverboat, the stupid fucking riverboat, where they're
- 51:21Speaker 3: all getting drunk and they're driving around or whatever, and
- 51:24Speaker 3: you see Garrison and he saw him cheering on Christine
- 51:27Speaker 3: and he looks so happy, and I'm like, that is
- 51:30Speaker 3: so fucking sweet, man.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I wish we could.
- 51:33Speaker 1: See more of him. I wish we could have seen him.
- 51:35Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 51:36Speaker 1: It does suck. I we're not out anything, and I
- 51:40Speaker 1: get it, but like I almost but I almost want
- 51:42Speaker 1: to say, like, but we love him though, we do,
- 51:45Speaker 1: and we've been following this family since he was a
- 51:48Speaker 1: little boy, and like we want to see him, Like
- 51:51Speaker 1: for a lot of us, that would be very healing
- 51:53Speaker 1: and wonderful to be able to see Garrison in his
- 51:56Speaker 1: last year, like what was he doing and what was
- 51:58Speaker 1: he thinking? And a Lee looks so happy, and why
- 51:59Speaker 1: aren't we talking to him like or Gabe, Like, I
- 52:02Speaker 1: don't get it. I don't get it. But maybe that's
- 52:04Speaker 1: what they wanted.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Well, and maybe it's too painful for them to like
- 52:07Speaker 3: watch scenes with him or like have his content in there,
- 52:10Speaker 3: because like people have theorized like maybe it was because
- 52:13Speaker 3: him and Cody were arguing a lot and so they
- 52:15Speaker 3: had to cut a lot of that out because it's
- 52:17Speaker 3: just not great given the circumstances. But man, it just
- 52:22Speaker 3: secks to kind of have him erase.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Yeah, And to that end, some folks are theorizing that
- 52:27Speaker 1: the reason we're not really seeing a lot of Janelle
- 52:31Speaker 1: and her life and her journey is because she might
- 52:34Speaker 1: have filmed content with Garrison and Gabe like she did
- 52:38Speaker 1: the season prior, Like they had those dinners out and
- 52:40Speaker 1: we actually got to hear how Gabe was feeling and
- 52:43Speaker 1: what he was doing in his life, So maybe that's
- 52:45Speaker 1: where she was putting her energy, and then after he passed,
- 52:48Speaker 1: she's just like, I don't want that out for public consumption.
- 52:51Speaker 1: So maybe that's why we're not seeing Janelle. So much.
- 52:55Speaker 1: I just I just wish we could me too. It's
- 52:57Speaker 1: like those are the best parts of the family and
- 53:00Speaker 1: we want these kids to succeed in to thrive and whatever.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I guess. We just have mimosas and facials and McKelty.
- 53:11Speaker 3: And Christine making out with David over and over again.
- 53:16Speaker 1: BB you give me, Oh God, save me, save me.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I literally can cannot take it.
- 53:24Speaker 2: I will become asexual. I have to see that shit.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Iwear so not sexy.
- 53:30Speaker 3: And then we have the preview where we have Mary
- 53:33Speaker 3: renovating that haunted BMB.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Is she I don't know if she is. They're putting
- 53:38Speaker 1: black curtains up. I don't know if we were like
- 53:40Speaker 1: decorating for Halloween.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Maybe she's moving in.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know what's happening, but like if you're
- 53:45Speaker 1: running this place, and maybe that ties into the most
- 53:48Speaker 1: recent loan. Maybe she's getting this loan so she can
- 53:50Speaker 1: get the fuck out of that haunted B and B.
- 53:53Speaker 1: That'd be interesting to watch, I think, sure.
- 53:55Speaker 3: Yeah, like an HTTV type of thing like that. And
- 53:58Speaker 3: then we have Robin Cody cutting down more trees and
- 54:02Speaker 3: flagstaff and can give a fuck.
- 54:03Speaker 1: We already saw this, We saw this exact scene over
- 54:06Speaker 1: and over. He starts talking about Christine and she shuts
- 54:09Speaker 1: him up and says, but we're just happy for we
- 54:12Speaker 1: already saw that.
- 54:14Speaker 3: That was last season too. I think it's so ridiculous,
- 54:18Speaker 3: and Cody admits how he needs a lot of attention,
- 54:21Speaker 3: specifically from Robin.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, what a shock.
- 54:24Speaker 3: And then we have Christine's wedding day and she's grinding
- 54:26Speaker 3: up on David and it's so great.
- 54:29Speaker 2: It just like I literally.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Can laying down that fat cat hed.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, she is getting piped.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Scandalizing the entire room at the reception. Hey, live your
- 54:40Speaker 1: best life, queen.
- 54:42Speaker 2: And again, that's great. I just am tired of seeing it.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I'm tired too, But at least next week looks like
- 54:47Speaker 1: it's done. And I'm wondering whether this will be the
- 54:50Speaker 1: penultimate episode, this second to the last, and on the
- 54:55Speaker 1: season finale of sus Story. I hope to hear those
- 54:57Speaker 1: words so much. You don't even understand how how much
- 55:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to manifest on our vision board those words
- 55:04Speaker 1: so that we can get into the fucking Sukiana of
- 55:07Speaker 1: it all I know, and the tell all look back talkbacks. Yeah,
- 55:11Speaker 1: because we've got a whole nother month of all that,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and it's already like middle of January.
- 55:15Speaker 2: I know what the fuck are we doing?
- 55:17Speaker 1: I don't know, Honey, I don't know.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Oh man, I don't know.
- 55:20Speaker 6: All right?
- 55:21Speaker 2: Do we want to hear from our raccoons?
- 55:22Speaker 3: Oh?
- 55:22Speaker 1: Yes, Now let's get into the two or three phone
- 55:25Speaker 1: calls we got, because you know you can call us.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 55:28Speaker 1: If you knew that about us, you will call us.
- 55:31Speaker 1: All you have to do is go to speak Pipe
- 55:33Speaker 1: dot com slash reality TV cranch. You have ninety seconds.
- 55:38Speaker 1: It's free to tell us what you're thinking about, and
- 55:42Speaker 1: we are more than likely to play it on our pod.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Now when you get a lot of these calls, so
- 55:45Speaker 1: we can't always play them all, but we can play these, yeah,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and I can't wait.
- 55:50Speaker 4: All right.
- 55:50Speaker 3: The first one we have is from Rachel.
- 55:52Speaker 4: Rachel, Hi, ladies, this is Rachel from a dumpster in
- 55:56Speaker 4: your neighboring state of Louisiana. And all I can say is,
- 56:00Speaker 4: I'm so glad with the new year comes Marty Grossi's
- 56:03Speaker 4: in here pretty soon because I am going to need
- 56:05Speaker 4: all the crawfish, kincake and liquor that I can get
- 56:08Speaker 4: my hands on just to deal with these stupid people
- 56:11Speaker 4: on our screens that we have to deal with the Browns.
- 56:14Speaker 4: So this is regarding Robin, of course, saying that she
- 56:18Speaker 4: was so traumatized by her legal divorce that she didn't
- 56:21Speaker 4: want to be legally married to Cody. So you spent
- 56:24Speaker 4: nineteen seasons saying over and over again, how the legal
- 56:27Speaker 4: marriages don't mean anything. It's just a piece of paper.
- 56:31Speaker 4: It's the spiritual marriages that are sacred and important. Right,
- 56:35Speaker 4: So you're going to tell me that your legal marriage
- 56:37Speaker 4: to your first husband, which by the way, was not
- 56:40Speaker 4: performed in the temple because you were knocked up due
- 56:43Speaker 4: to premarital sex.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Oh my, that.
- 56:46Speaker 4: Divorce, which was just legal, traumatized you so much that
- 56:50Speaker 4: you didn't want to be legally married to Cody. But
- 56:52Speaker 4: you're perfectly fine with a spiritual marriage that binds you
- 56:56Speaker 4: to this clown, not only on this earthly plane, but
- 56:59Speaker 4: for all of eternity. On kolap bullshit. You are a liar,
- 57:04Speaker 4: Robin Brown. You are a thief and a terrible person.
- 57:07Speaker 4: And as Delia would say, we're of it. Happy New Year,
- 57:14Speaker 4: I love it.
- 57:15Speaker 3: No notes, no note standing ovation, absolutely no notes.
- 57:21Speaker 2: So great.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Are you telling me that Robin was knocked up when
- 57:25Speaker 1: she married David Josup and so she couldn't get married
- 57:27Speaker 1: in the holy Yeah, she's not a hot.
- 57:33Speaker 2: I'm going to call.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Wow. I had no idea.
- 57:38Speaker 2: Yeah girl, yeah, God.
- 57:40Speaker 1: She presents herself as so pious and well sanctimonious when really.
- 57:47Speaker 7: Dirty loa dog, dirty load, laying it low in sprind
- 57:52Speaker 7: w Yes, Robin, I totally agree, and I don't believe her,
- 57:56Speaker 7: and in fact, I believe Christine when Christine said that
- 58:00Speaker 7: from the moment that bitch came into this.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Family, she was talking about how other polygamous families have
- 58:06Speaker 1: husbands who divorce their legal wives, they can marry other
- 58:09Speaker 1: wives and adopt the kids. It was obviously on her agenda.
- 58:14Speaker 1: It was obviously what her intention was. I don't know
- 58:17Speaker 1: why she tries to lie, but at this point you
- 58:20Speaker 1: can't stop her.
- 58:22Speaker 2: It's pathological.
- 58:23Speaker 3: At this point, I think she just has to lie
- 58:24Speaker 3: because it's like, once you lie, grows and girls like
- 58:27Speaker 3: you have to keep doing it.
- 58:28Speaker 2: But the truth will set you free. Yeah, it really would.
- 58:31Speaker 1: We're never going to get it from her, no, sorry, Rachel.
- 58:34Speaker 3: Unless she leaves Cody and takes half of everything, which
- 58:36Speaker 3: would be so amazing.
- 58:38Speaker 1: It would be I would love you would be so
- 58:40Speaker 1: blindsided by that. I God, I would love it you
- 58:42Speaker 1: even imagine, Oh my god.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Please all right. Next one we have is from Annabelle.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Hi, Annabielle.
- 58:50Speaker 6: Hey, ladies, this is Annabelle from Oklahoma. I'm here smoking
- 58:55Speaker 6: my weeds and watching my TLC, and I'm watching these
- 58:59Speaker 6: two fools, Robin and Cody, and I really get a
- 59:05Speaker 6: vibe that, like, I think Cody's got to be abusive
- 59:10Speaker 6: or something like that is going on. I mean, the
- 59:13Speaker 6: way the children behave, the way Robin behaves. I know
- 59:16Speaker 6: she's a peacekeeper, but damn, I mean she's acting like
- 59:20Speaker 6: when they're sitting there on their date talking, She's just like,
- 59:24Speaker 6: I've never seen anything like it. What do you guys
- 59:26Speaker 6: think about that? Another thing that I think too, I
- 59:29Speaker 6: think should Robin like wise up and actually leave Cody
- 59:33Speaker 6: and tell him, hey, it's over, we're done, get your
- 59:36Speaker 6: shit and get out. I would worry about like family
- 59:40Speaker 6: annihilator vibes from that man. I mean, he seems unhinged
- 59:44Speaker 6: for sure, and I mean he's got all those guns.
- 59:47Speaker 6: You know, he's in the gun show world. I don't know,
- 59:51Speaker 6: and maybe that's dramatic. I don't know your thoughts. Please
- 59:53Speaker 6: get back with me. Thank you.
- 59:55Speaker 2: Well, we did kind of talk about him.
- 59:57Speaker 1: We actually mentioned that a year ago.
- 59:59Speaker 3: I think it was likelast season when he had the
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: crazy eyes and shit and his pupils were hella dilated.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: We were talking about him being like scary. I could
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: totally see him being abusive. I talked about that earlier
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: this episode. Like, I just I don't know. I think
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: there's something about him, like Robin's not a fucking saint,
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: but nobody deserves to be abused. But like Robin says
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: things like about how Cody's super intense with her and
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: how he's got his murder face going on, like she
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: kind of sets it up for that. I don't know
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: if that's intentional it is, but I mean, I also
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: think Cody is probably drinking a lot, and he's an angry,
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: small little man, so of course he's gonna be intense
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: and crazy at home.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: He probably is abusive.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Well, let's be clear, Cody has already been abusive on
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: our teletime everybody else, So he's been emotionally and verbally abusive.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: We've seen it with our own eyes. You can't gaslight
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: me out of knowing that to be true, because I
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: saw it. I was there, So it's not that much
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: of a stretch to imagine that he is at least
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: that he's actual home. The only thing that would keep
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: me from going all in on that is that he
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: does seem so strongly to prefer Robin and to really
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: prefer those kids and to like hanging out with them.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: But like when you look at Aurora and Brianna and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: how they were talking to him when they were sitting
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: out in the deck last week after they went to
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: their fake church and all that jazz and Aurora's crying
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and Brianna is like meek, Like, on the one hand,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: maybe Robin is asking them to be that way, or
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: maybe they're just mimicking their mother's affect. But on the
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: other hand, maybe like they're scared to actually speak up
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: or be demonstrative or be expressive in emoting because there's
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: been problems in the past, I would be more likely
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to believe that he's been If he's been abusive physically,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I would say I could see that maybe in Christine's house.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I don't see him doing that to Janelle. Maybe with Mary,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: both of them being that way. But when you get
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: into family annihilator, that is not the first time. I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: mean we've actually used that term, and I've also read
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: it on Reddit. I mean people on Reddit have actually
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: clocked that as well. Because if he lost everything, if
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Robin actually did ask for a divorce and take him
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: for all he is worth, after he has hung his
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: hat on her and the life that he has with her,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: what would he have left. He would not have TLC,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: he would not have He doesn't work right, He's got
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: his gun business, which he's been I think hamstrong. I
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: don't think he can do the full business that he
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: used to do. What would he have? What would he
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: do in that scenario? I mean, I'm sure it would
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: never happen, but like if it did happen, how shocked
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: would I be?
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: M not that shocked.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: But I hope it never course, I would hope that
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: never ever happens, because as much as we hate Robin.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: And oh.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Forever, but he's unstable.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: He is unstable. But I do hope Robin leaves him
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: me too.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: I mean I would love that because it would be great,
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: But I don't want him to go.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Of course, I do not want that, But like when
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you're looking at people who are showing you who they are,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: and you're looking at the entire spectrum of that, Like
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: he's existing over here on the spectrum, but like how
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: much to get to that side of the spectrum, right,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and how much to like just be a little bit
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: more exaggerated in it? Like I that's that's all I'll
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: say about it. Yeah, Yeah, there's some fishy going on
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: over there. What do y'all think?
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Let us know, let us know, or last one we
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: have is from Jilly Jilly.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, Hi, I'm actually no possum, but I hang
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: out with raccoons and Philly in the dumpster. I wanted
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: to speak. I like Sister Wives. Been liking it from
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: day one. I don't find it boring. I like to
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: see how the family is evolved over the years, and
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: I think it's way more authentic than some of the
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: other reality shows. I want to speak about Christine. She's
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: very popular now, but when the show first came on,
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: she irritated at me. I remember one time the Browns
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: were taking a family trip and Cody's friend had invited
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: them over, but he had made a joke about Cody
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: leaving three of his wives at home, and Christine got
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: so upset and made a stink. She was getting on
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: my nerves. And then there was a time when they
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: did a panel discussion. It was polygamous against anti polygamists
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: or something like that, and Christine's aunt or cousin was
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: on the panel discussion, and she was against polygamy, and
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: Christine was acting so extra like her family member was
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: going to attack her and she needed all her sister
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: wives to walk with her to protect her. Now, Christine
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: is the complete opposite, and she makes no mention about
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: how she carried on with that family member or even
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: if their friends or if they talk. Now, I find
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: that quite peculiar and I would like to get your
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: take on it. Happy New Year, all right, Well, this
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: is Gillie from Philly and I'm signing off opossums and
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: raccoons you night.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I love me and opossum. I love me and opasa
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: so very helpful to the environment. I think they eat
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: like I don't know, a thousand ticks for an acre
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: or I don't know what the stats are, but they
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: are wonderful. They look very scary, but they're so sweet. Yeah,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I like them.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Killy, I said, Jilly, I'm sorry.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: It's okay, no problems. So what did you think about
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: her commentary regarding Christine.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Christine's annoying as fuck. I think she's always
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: been annoying. I think she's too much. She's always been
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: too much for this family too, Like she needs somebody
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: like David who loves that craziness from her, and that's awesome,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: But she's so annoying. I mean, like you look at
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: her kids like Mikeltie and Peyton and Gwendolen and all
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: of them, they're like all annoying, except for Isabelle and
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Aspen and maybe truly, but like, oh my god.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: There was one point in the recent episode, I think
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: when they were at the rehearsal dinner or whatever, like
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you've got Christine yelling, you had Aspen yelling, you had Mchelte.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Everybody's yelling. Like all these women are so loud. It
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: would really get my methophonia going, give me some anxiety
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I can't be with. First of all, I can't deal
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: with like multiple streams of sound, like I can't parse
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: those out, and so it's overwhelming to me, and I
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: really don't like a whole lot of yelling, even though
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I'm a bit loud myself, but it was just like
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: it was crazy. It's crazy making. But Gilly touches on
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: something that we have addressed before and it really really
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: chops my hide, which is how in defense of polygamy,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Christine was like, out of all of them, she was
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: maybe the biggest cheerleader for the lifestyle, and she rammed
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: it down our throat. And again she went onto this
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: panel just like she's talking about, and she went up
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: against her aunt or whatever it was. And so at
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: least to dress it like this season, you're getting tattoos.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: This season, you're drinking drinks, doing shots.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: This season.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: You're such a different person. And I'm glad that you are.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I'm glad that you're not in the Call to anymore.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: I'm glad that you're not fucking indoctrinated anymore. But talk
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: about it. And so when Gilly's saying that this is
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: an authentic show, I disagree. And the reason I disagree
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: is because you don't talk about the meteor subjects and
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: things that we really want to get into, Like you
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: started the show with a specific premise, you abandoned the premise,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and you never addressed it other than Cody's suddenly hating
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: all of his wives right and not really digging into
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: it and all of the wives reeling because of it,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Like okay, but what about the faith? What about the religion?
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: What about the story of all that?
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Like when did you guys stop believing in all of
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: this shit? Because now they're saying that they just you know,
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: have different value systems, they have different fays like Mary
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: seems to be the only one that takes it seriously.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Janelle's like I don't care, Christine's like I don't answer
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: to the priests anymore, Like fuck all that? Like okay,
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: why though we've said this before, like are you going to.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Talk about that process? Because that would be super interesting.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: I would much rather see that than your wedding special
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: over and over and over and over and over Againeah,
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: it's like so annoying. Got a doubt and like seeing
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: you by your lip all the time.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: And Gilly, how is this show authentic? Like let's be
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: real here for a second, Like knowing that Cody melted
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: down Mary's ring and from this most recent episode, having
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Mary say that twenty years in so season one two
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: or three, Cody's telling her, I'm gonna make you suffer
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: for twenty years, and all Mary showed us, along with
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: the rest of those adults, was how fucking great polygamy
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: was until I don't know, COVID, like when the masks
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: started slipping and they couldn't get away with it anymore.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Like that, I mean, all of it was a lie.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: And I can understand, like they probably wanted to keep
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: it together and and sure there's some charm in showing
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: the kids and the life and how they're trying to
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: blend all these families, but it wasn't real.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: It was false.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: There was so much crap going on underneath that.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: So yeah, but we didn't know that until recently. We
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: all knew that well, I mean yeah, but we didn't
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: get the confirmation.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Therefore it wasn't authentic.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I guess I don't know.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: I mean, like for in Gilly's defense, I think there's
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: no other show like this on teals. Sure, and I
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: would love more shows like this. I would love to
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: see more like Family Dynamics, even if some of it's fake.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: I want to see it because I want to deduce
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: it like Plathfill.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: That's why we like plathfl. That's why we like the
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: first four seasons of platforl The Plathfal is starting to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: get into this Sister Wives territory being so completely manufactured
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: that it's almost unwatchable, right, But those first few seasons, girl,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: we could see all the layers and we loved it.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Yeah, And maybe that's why she's like, I like this
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: show a lot, because she's been at it from the beginning,
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: which I can see.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Yep, I get it me too, so and it's totally valid,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: totally valid. Any thank you, Gilly. Yes, speaking of Plathfill,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: did you see that Ethan Plath got himself a new girlfriend? Yeah,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: and she's gorgeous, gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. So that makes me
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: immediately wonder if I could just be a fly on
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: the wall girl, what Olivia might be thinking, Because of course,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: if there is another season and Welcome to Plathfill, then
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: they're going to probably be introducing us to this beautiful
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: blonde bombshell. Olivia's gonna have some competition in that regarding Meanwhile,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: she's with that Dirpe with the vagina chest, she got nothing,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I know. Yeah, yeah, what if it doesn't work out
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: and she's single Olivia and he's all gallivanting with his
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: trad wife blonde bombshell.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: I need to see this from your lips.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: To God, I need to see it.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: I want that so bad.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Did you see how Ethan was smiling in those.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Every single photo and he said that she's the most
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: kindest and sweetest girl he's ever been with, et cetera.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: Like he he made a whole paragraph. Of course, everybody's
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: given him hate because it's so trendy to be.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Like, fuck you eatan, your piece of shit.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: Like people are saying that she looks exactly like Olivia.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: She does, she doesn't. She's prettier than she is.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I think she's objectively prettier.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: Well, and then some people are saying that all the
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Plaith boys like to date girls that look like their
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: sisters just because they like blonde girls.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Okay, that's so weird. It's kind of weird, and like,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: can we stop Hayton? Can we just like be happy
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: for I'm happy for him.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I am too if he's happy, and if he found
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: somebody that's not going to be contenteduously judging him and
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: making him feel like a piece of shit, and he's
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: not doing that to his partners as well, if he's
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: learned from his previous relationship and he's not going to
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: be just a weirdo with this new person. I love it.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I love it, and I'd like to see more of it.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: And speaking in Platvill, I saw that Victoria Veronica, Veronica,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I always miss that up. I'm like, Veronica Hoodie is
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: going to be doing an AMA on Reddit. I think
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: it's going to be either today or tomorrow, and so
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I've got a lot of people. It's on the snark
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Uncensored sub, which they all stand for Olivia. They just
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: stand so hard and irrationally for Olivia. So they're asking
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: all these questions about her relationship with Olivia, and they're
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: being passive aggressive about it. But I am going to
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: be checking in to see what her answers are. I
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: think that's very very interesting. And also there is like
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: a rumor that Micah and Veronica have married because they
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: have a shared Instagram account with Micah and Veronica Plath.
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: Well, we thought that they had that during the show.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: I had that during this last I forgot yeah boom.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Darius, Well maybe it did. Yeah, God, that would be
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: so ill advised, but I'm here for it.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: I'm here for You're happy. I'm happy.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: And also there's rumors that Mariah has been back with
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: that weird bald singer.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: Guys, mister potato Head. Yeah, okay, yep.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: So that's just catching you up in a little bit
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: of plaith fill news. All right, Well, I think that's it.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Is there anything else that we need to say to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: these beautiful records before we get up on out of here?
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Be addressed?
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Well, if you love our podcast, I sure hope you
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: go to your favorite podcast platform and leave us a
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: glowing five star review really helps us grow the pod.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: We really appreciate it, so thank you very much.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: We are not going to be back this week with
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: an additional show because we handled the speak pipe messages
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: in this episode, but we will be back next week
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: to cover episode seventeen Honey with Christine's wedding on The
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Sister Live. We'll be back for that talk all about it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Until then, please do not forget that we have nothing
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: but love for you, and please an bye ye
