- 0:00Well, I've got a good show for you.
- 0:01We're going to talk about a lot of stuff having to do with the
- 0:05end of days and what the apostles were taught and what
- 0:10many people are saying today about the end times and how all
- 0:13this fits into the second coming of Christ and we're going to
- 0:17delve right into it in this episode of the Rancher Radio
- 0:20podcast. Stay tuned.
- 0:22And of course a word from our sponsor and we'll be right back.
- 0:30Welcome to another edition of your Rancho, Radio podcast, get
- 0:35underway. Just a second.
- 0:41Some, I can't take this side by side.
- 0:47A professional life Everlasting. I shall not as divine presence.
- 0:55Won't snore Fest? What do I do?
- 1:00Into the valley of uncertainty or send up into the worlds of
- 1:04death though. I though I triumphed in the
- 1:11choirs of light or falter in the solitary places of the Spheres,
- 1:16you're good spiritual Ministry and your glorious, angel will
- 1:21comfortably recoil of it more that at the end, that's Tom
- 1:25Outerbridge and the Lord's Prayer and he was kind enough.
- 1:30As he arranged a book reader to send me a copy of that which
- 1:32I'll again play at the end. I just wanted to give you a
- 1:35brief introduction to Tom and I don't know him well and I
- 1:39appreciate him reaching out and touching base with me and being
- 1:43generous enough to send what I think is a pretty good song.
- 1:46And so his back story is that in 1984, he broke his neck and he
- 1:54became quadriplegic And so he has learned to adjust even with
- 1:59that hardship in his life. And, and he loves making music
- 2:05and I'll put this up on the Rancher radio.
- 2:10Dotnet website if you want to download it and have at it.
- 2:16Maybe if you're a musician and you want to add some background
- 2:20or or just listen to it and get inspired Tom has given me the
- 2:24permission to share with the world.
- 2:27And so that's what I want to do because it's so good.
- 2:29And again I'll play it at the end of the current episode here.
- 2:32So I also want to apologize, I'm usually more Distant and making
- 2:40sure that I have a new podcast every week, but I recently
- 2:43started on a new project, which takes a lot of time and I don't
- 2:48want to ever Rush a Urantia Radio podcast just to create a
- 2:52your answer Radio podcast. I have to have like certain
- 2:55things that inspire me and want me to share the book.
- 3:01And so I'm a little late, but I hope to get back on track and I
- 3:04hope that you're busy during the summer and maybe you're not
- 3:08noticing. And so anyway, my point is, is
- 3:11that I appreciate you stopping by.
- 3:12And I apologize if you were expecting a podcast sooner
- 3:15because I'm usually more consistent.
- 3:17I usually have one a week at least sometimes too, but as of
- 3:22late with the new project, you know, takes a little longer to
- 3:26get around to doing it. You know, you got family and
- 3:29vacations and everything else, you know?
- 3:30It is, I'm been involved with Gabriel Ryan Berg over at the
- 3:35metaverse. He's got some interesting things
- 3:38going on, and I keep saying, I'm going to get you on, I'm Gonna
- 3:41Get You On, but, you know, he's in Israel and I'm here and
- 3:44sometimes it's not easy, but he's got some exciting things
- 3:47going on with, with that. And we'll, hopefully grab him at
- 3:50some point and get an update on what's going on with the
- 3:53metaverse. Also, I will hopefully be able
- 3:58to have on a woman. The name of Donna D'Angelo, and
- 4:03she is an amazing person from what I can tell and thanks to
- 4:08Byron boletos, A Familiar guests to these podcasts for turning me
- 4:13on to her Institute of Christ Consciousness.
- 4:17And you can find out more about what she does.
- 4:19But essentially what what really got me excited is a her work in
- 4:26women, who love Jesus. The untold story of the woman's
- 4:30Evangelistic core and I never really gave it much thought.
- 4:35She's written a book about the Untold Stories of the 12 female
- 4:39Apostles commissioned by Jesus. Now In a few minutes this is a
- 4:46good example of what differentiates the Urantia book
- 4:50from other books including the Bible not that it tries to take
- 4:55over the Bible or any other religious texts.
- 4:58It is unique in its own presentation for reasons, I'll
- 5:02explain shortly but this is just one of those reasons, one of the
- 5:05great things about the the Urantia book and the fourth part
- 5:09of the book, The Life, and teachings of Jesus.
- 5:12Is it through so much. Much more.
- 5:13We find that there's so much more to these stories.
- 5:18That we all who've been grown up in a Jo Christian household or a
- 5:23culture. Most of us are familiar with
- 5:26some of the stories, you know, Jesus running away from his
- 5:29parents and you know when he ends up in a temple and he's,
- 5:34you know, talking to the smart religious leaders and his dad
- 5:37comes and takes him and says, how could you put us in that
- 5:40much, you know, worried. How did you make us worry so
- 5:44much about you and, and that's when Jesus utters, I'm About
- 5:48doing about my father's business.
- 5:51Well, the ranch a book that story is expounded.
- 5:54It's just, it's 10 times bigger. And there's a lot more to learn
- 5:58from that the other stories. The Last Supper, we all are
- 6:01familiar with the breaking of the bread.
- 6:02It's so richly a part of our religious culture, but there's
- 6:06so much more that goes on. And and that's the amazing thing
- 6:10about the Rancho book is that it really does bring Jesus to life.
- 6:17And one aspect of that, I think is dotted and D'Angelo has
- 6:22tapped into is, we really don't know that.
- 6:26Jesus was really the first Historical figure that gave
- 6:31women, their respect that they deserve.
- 6:34And he tried to teach his Apostles.
- 6:36Unfortunately some of it a lot of it got lost over the
- 6:40centuries but you know the apostles we all know about the
- 6:4412 male Apostles. But what about the women that
- 6:47supported Jesus and and who did so under enormous pressure?
- 6:53Because women were second-class citizens even in Israel or the
- 6:58Palestine during the times of Jesus but Jesus was really a
- 7:02progressive person. Melody that regard he taught and
- 7:05he treated women with the same respect that he treated and
- 7:09afforded men. And there's some great stories
- 7:11in there. And so, we learn about, like,
- 7:14for example, Elizabeth will learn about Joanna, and Martha.
- 7:20Jesus, sisters, Mary of Magdalene, we all know about
- 7:24her, but what's her real story? Milka, I think I pronounced that
- 7:29right. Am I lch a milka?
- 7:31Rachel Ruth rep. Rebecca, Rebecca was, the, I
- 7:37think would have been Jesus girlfriend in an, in what would
- 7:41consider teenage years? She had a crush on him.
- 7:44And that story is elegantly told in the Rancho book and so I am
- 7:49going to be hopefully having Donna on, so she could talk
- 7:52about What her what her book is all about and what inspired her
- 7:57to do it but you know, today's female tonight to today's modern
- 8:03woman wrapped up and and in women power and assertion of
- 8:09Rights and demanding to be treated equally.
- 8:13They would I think be very surprised to learn from the
- 8:17Urantia book, just how Progressive was in his attitude
- 8:20towards women and I put that in the plus column, don't you?
- 8:26All right, so before we begin with what I, what I want to talk
- 8:29about, I want to read today's thought of the day, because it
- 8:31kind of plays into it early. Early evolution is characterized
- 8:36by the survival of the biologically fit, but later
- 8:40civilizations are better promoted by intelligent,
- 8:44cooperation, understanding, fraternity, and spiritual
- 8:47Brotherhood. And so with that, I want to be
- 8:52giving a lot of thought to that section.
- 8:55In the Urantia book, paper 7176, where there's a lot of
- 9:01discussion going on about the the end times.
- 9:04Jesus is coming back, the destruction of Jerusalem and it
- 9:10is no doubt today. A lot of Christians, a lot of
- 9:14people who are religious Faith, really do believe that we are in
- 9:17historic times, something is about to happen.
- 9:20No. We're seeing a lot of evil in
- 9:22the world, more than maybe more than we ever did.
- 9:26And that Pavel probably is because technology allows us to
- 9:29see that. And when we have more than a
- 9:32dozen 24-hour news channels, now they got to get their news, they
- 9:35got a report on something. And here we are all flipping
- 9:40through our phones. Trying to get the latest news
- 9:42from social media, so no doubt, we're seeing more and
- 9:46consequently, I think we're seeing more evil.
- 9:50And then also you have social media that promotes evil.
- 9:53We found out this week that I think the second most popular
- 9:57third most popular social media app.
- 10:01Was actually being used openly to promote pedophilia, which is
- 10:08I was shocked when I heard that. And the news media didn't seem
- 10:13too bothered by it or at least they didn't report very much on
- 10:16it. But that's just an example of,
- 10:18you know, we're seeing, you know, the human trafficking
- 10:20issue. There's a new movie coming out
- 10:22with Jim Caviezel where he talks, where he exposes the
- 10:26truth about how much human trafficking.
- 10:28I mean there's no question that this world is going through an
- 10:31ideological change. And morality is being judged it
- 10:39because morality based on Whose morality on Whose Customs on
- 10:43Whose ideas. Yeah, you know and with that the
- 10:47anticipates of that is we're having new discussions and
- 10:50conversations about sexuality what's appropriate?
- 10:54What is an appropriate children are involved now in this
- 10:57discussion and then you know there's also materialism you
- 11:03know, materialism as I Define it is who is actually going to have
- 11:08the dominant culture moving forward.
- 11:10Now that we're all connected by The Internet of Things who will
- 11:14be the Dominant players of civilization, who will set the
- 11:18tone for the next to 300 years. You know, we look back and we
- 11:22can see that when the colonies formed and broke off from
- 11:27England, the United States ended up being, you know, the tone
- 11:33Setter for the next two, three hundred years and the culture of
- 11:36the West has certainly had a tremendous impact on everything
- 11:40we can think of about civilization.
- 11:44But what about the next 200 years who's going to be in
- 11:47control? Then we'll be a materialistic
- 11:49world. Will it be a fragmented world?
- 11:51Will it be a world full of paganism and maybe perhaps more
- 11:56criminality mean we're on the precipice of something big and
- 12:00that's part and parcel why? I think the ranch a book was
- 12:03presented at this time, even even Byron mentioned, it
- 12:06numerous times in his first book and his new book that we just
- 12:09talked about, the ranch will maybe a response to that
- 12:13critical juncture. That Americans and the rest of
- 12:15the world find ourselves in. And because a lot of people do
- 12:20believe that these are the end times and something big is about
- 12:23to happen what they're not looking at.
- 12:26Is the fact that the big thing already did happen.
- 12:27We got a revelation in 1935 and it was printed in 1955.
- 12:34And recently I was I had written a Blog about atheism and the
- 12:40rise of atheism and what causes atheism and how could, how could
- 12:43we, how could we get the atheist to shake him and say, look,
- 12:46you're wrong. There is something. and of
- 12:49course, the response I got from the article was from an atheist
- 12:51who said just more playing on words, You know, and I took
- 12:58offense to that. Because why am I wasting my time
- 13:00trying to get an atheist to believe in the Rancho book, what
- 13:03do I care? Well, according to the master,
- 13:08we're supposed to care. Those are the people that need
- 13:12to be saved saved from themselves from Eternal
- 13:16non-existence. I'm maybe they'll get a chance
- 13:19on man Sonia one or two to change their mind.
- 13:23But I always seem curious about people who, You know, who just
- 13:29don't have anywhere in their heart for this belief that
- 13:33there's something greater Beyond them.
- 13:35And that it's not just all about the Here.
- 13:37And Now, That's part of the reason I think that the ranch a
- 13:42book appeals to me is because it does answer.
- 13:46All of those questions questions that I know my fellow brothers
- 13:49and sisters have but they're too hard headed.
- 13:53They don't want to take the chance to open up this 2000 page
- 13:57book and and and read inside what it has to say.
- 14:03And the Christians, they're happy with what they've got.
- 14:05They're not going to change anything.
- 14:08Although, there's a new book out by Miles, Lucas who's a pastor,
- 14:12I think, and he talks about how even Christianity is being
- 14:16compromised by political correctness or what we commonly
- 14:19call, woken has the adhan gelt the Angelic.
- 14:22In church of Africa, the entire country, continent of Africa has
- 14:27broken off from the church of England because the Church of
- 14:30England is preaching things like homosexuality.
- 14:32Homosexuality is. Okay, transgender, Ms. Okay,
- 14:38abortions, we won't go there and many conservative churches in.
- 14:43Wait a minute, These three. These are important tenets that
- 14:47we have to hold onto there. Has to be rules and so it's a
- 14:54tough time to be a religious person.
- 14:55These days you're going to get it from somewhere.
- 14:58If you're Christian, you're going to get attacked by the
- 15:00left. If you're a non-Christian you're
- 15:02going to get attacked by people who, you know, think that you're
- 15:05crazy or evil. So, no doubt.
- 15:09There's a lot of Endtime conversation going on, but let
- 15:12me read to you. From Matthew 25:14.
- 15:16This Is The New International Version there.
- 15:19This is pertains to what the master talked about in the ranch
- 15:24a book in 176. Jesus, because Peter had asked
- 15:27him, you know, when are you coming back?
- 15:31You tell us, you're coming back, tell us when that wins, when is
- 15:34that going to happen? So we're going to talk about the
- 15:37second coming and the Matthew version from 2514 through 30 is
- 15:42relatively short, it's a page and a half.
- 15:44Half. And and I'm going to read it to
- 15:47you. So we'll start with the parable
- 15:49of the bags of gold, from the NIV of Matthew 25:14.
- 15:54The New Testament again, it will be like a man going on a journey
- 15:59who called his servants. And this is a Jesus giving a
- 16:02parable and he's trying to explain the nature of his second
- 16:07coming to his apostles. And so Jesus says, again, it
- 16:12will be like a man going on a journey who called the servants
- 16:15and entrusted, the wealth to them, to one, he gave five bags
- 16:19of gold to another two bags, into another one bag each.
- 16:22According to his ability, then he went on his journey.
- 16:25The man who had received the five bags of gold when it once
- 16:28and put his money to work and gained five bags.
- 16:31More. So also the one with two bags of
- 16:34gold gained two more but the man who would receive one bag, dug a
- 16:39hole and hid his master's money. After a long time, the master of
- 16:45those servants returned and settled accounts with them, the
- 16:48man who had received the five bags of gold.
- 16:50Brought the other five said Master, he said you entrusted me
- 16:53with five bags of gold. See I have gained five more His
- 16:57master replied. Well done, good.
- 16:59And faithful servant you have been faithful with a few things.
- 17:02I will put you in charge of many things come and share your
- 17:05Masters happiness. The man with two bags of gold
- 17:09also came Master. He said you entrusted me with
- 17:12two bags of gold. See I have gained two more his
- 17:17master replied. Well done, good.
- 17:19And faithful servant you have been faithful with a few things.
- 17:21I will put you in charge of many things come and share your
- 17:25Masters happiness. Then the man who had received
- 17:28one bag of gold came Master. He said, I knew that you are a
- 17:33hard man harvesting where you have not sown and Gathering
- 17:37where Not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and
- 17:42hit your gold in the ground. See, here's what belongs to you.
- 17:47And his master replied, you Wicked, lazy servant.
- 17:51So, you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather
- 17:55where I have not scattered seed. Well, then you should have put
- 17:58my money on deposit with the bankers so that when I returned,
- 18:03I would at least have some of it back with interest.
- 18:07And in the master continue. So take the bag of gold from him
- 18:10and give it to the one who has ten bags.
- 18:12For whoever has will be given more and they will have an
- 18:16abundance. Whoever does not have even that
- 18:19which they have will be taken from them.
- 18:22And throw that worthless servant outside into the darkness where
- 18:26there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
- 18:29So that's the story from Matthew 25. 14:30 the 14 to 30.
- 18:37So now let us read from paper, 176 the expanded version and
- 18:41this illustrates why the Urantia book, sometimes can be an added
- 18:49expounded story that we can gather so much more meaning.
- 18:52And, and remember Matthews account wasn't for Matthew.
- 18:59It was from one of Matthew's, you know, students, or it came
- 19:03from Luke. There's a story about how this
- 19:06story, this particular story that I'm sharing with you and
- 19:09your Rancho book and we may get to it and it and it explains how
- 19:14this particular story got kind of garbled in the New Testament
- 19:18version. It got edited and it was
- 19:21partially, right, but not quite accurate.
- 19:24I mean, the essence of the story still comes through with Jesus
- 19:27trying to teach is still very relevant.
- 19:29But listen to the difference of the way the stories are told On
- 19:33several occasions. Jesus had made statements, which
- 19:36led his hearers to infer that while he intended presently to
- 19:39leave this world. He would most certainly return
- 19:42to consummate the work of the Heavenly Kingdom, as the
- 19:46conviction grew on his followers, that he was going to
- 19:49leave them. And after he had departed from
- 19:52this world, it was only natural for all believers delay, fast,
- 19:55hold upon these promises to return, the doctrine of the
- 19:59second coming of Christ us became an early Incorporated.
- 20:02Get into the teachings of the Christians and almost every
- 20:06subsequent generation of disciples has devoutly believe
- 20:10this truth and has confidently look forward to his some time
- 20:13coming. If they were to part with her
- 20:17master and teacher, how much more did these first disciples?
- 20:20And the apostles grasp, that that this promise to return and
- 20:25they lost no time in associating, the predicted
- 20:28destruction of Jerusalem with this promised second coming, and
- 20:33they continued. Thus, to interpret his words,
- 20:35notwithstanding that throughout this evening of instruction and
- 20:38Mount Mount Olivet. The master took particular plans
- 20:42to prevent just such a mistake So for Matthew 24, which is
- 20:47where we get the story. Here is the version as it's told
- 20:50in the ranch a book. In further answers to Peters
- 20:54question. Jesus said, why do you still
- 20:55look for the son of man to sit upon the throne of David and
- 20:59expect that this material dreams of the Jews will be fulfilled.
- 21:04Have I not told you all these years at?
- 21:06My kingdom is not of this world, the things which you now look
- 21:09down upon are coming to an end. But this will be a new beginning
- 21:13out of which the gospel of the Kingdom will go to all of the
- 21:16world and this salvation will spread to All Peoples.
- 21:21And when the kingdom shall have come to, its full fruition be
- 21:24assured. That the Father in heaven will
- 21:26not fail to visit you with an enlarged, revelation of Truth
- 21:30and an enhanced demonstration of righteousness.
- 21:34Even as he is already bestowed upon this world him who became
- 21:38the Prince of Darkness and then Adam who was followed by
- 21:41Melchizedek and in these days the son of man And so will my
- 21:46father continue to manifest his mercy and show forth his love
- 21:50even to the dark and evil world. So also will I after my father
- 21:55has invested me with all power and authority, continue to
- 21:59follow your fortunes and to guide me efforts of the Kingdom.
- 22:02By the presence of my spirit who shall shortly, be poured out
- 22:07upon All Flesh. Even though I shall thus be
- 22:10present with you in spirit, I also promised that I will
- 22:14someday Um, time return to this world where I have lived this
- 22:19life In the Flesh and achieve the experience of
- 22:22simultaneously. Revealing God to man and leading
- 22:25man to God. Very soon.
- 22:28Must I leave you and take up the work of the father has entrusted
- 22:32to my hands but be of good courage.
- 22:34For I will sometime return in the meantime.
- 22:37My spirit of truth of a universe shall comfort and guide you.
- 22:42You behold me now and weakness and in the flesh.
- 22:45But when I returned, it shall be with power, and in the spirit,
- 22:49the eyes of the flesh beholds, the son of man in the flesh, but
- 22:53only the eyes of the spirit will hold the son of man, glorified
- 22:56by the father and appearing on Earth in his own time.
- 23:01But the times of the reappearing of the son of man are known,
- 23:04only in the council's of paradise, not even the angels of
- 23:08heaven know when this will occur.
- 23:11However, you should understand that when this Gospel of the
- 23:14Kingdom shall have been proclaimed to all of the world
- 23:18for the Salvation of all peoples.
- 23:20And when the fullness of the age has come to pass, the father
- 23:23will send you another dispensational bestowal or else.
- 23:26The son of man will return to a judge the age.
- 23:31So he's saying that there's going to have to be a time when
- 23:35the world becomes more spiritual before this, next Revelation
- 23:39occurs, whether it be another bestowal son, or he himself, and
- 23:43he's making that claim. That I'm not sure how this is
- 23:46going to play out. This will ultimately decided in
- 23:49Paradise on the Council of paradise.
- 23:53The Trinity will have a say in this.
- 23:57And that's concerning the travail of Jerusalem about which
- 24:01I have spoken to you. Even this generation will not
- 24:04pass away until my words are fulfilled.
- 24:07But concerning the times of the coming, again of the son of man,
- 24:11no one in heaven or on Earth May presume to speak.
- 24:14But you should be wise regarding the ripening of an age should be
- 24:18alert to discern the signs of the times.
- 24:22You should know when the Fig Tree show its tender branches.
- 24:25And Puts forth its leaves that summer is near likewise.
- 24:29When the world has passed through The Long Winter of
- 24:32material mindedness and you discern the coming of the
- 24:35spiritual Springtime of a new dispensation, should you know
- 24:39that the summertime of a new visitation draws near?
- 24:45That's the ranch version of the original which appears in
- 24:48Matthew 24:42. But what is the significance of
- 24:52this teaching have to do with the coming of the son of man?
- 24:56So this point Jesus Is Telling look there's two different
- 24:59stories who you're talking about the destruction of Jerusalem and
- 25:03all things becoming new again. And the gospel will spread and
- 25:06he's giving a forecast of the next 2,000 years.
- 25:10All of, which what happened? The evolving of the Christian
- 25:13church. But he says, but but what does
- 25:17that have to do with me coming back?
- 25:20That is still going to happen mankind?
- 25:22Still has to become more spiritual regardless of where I
- 25:25am or what, if I come back. He says, do you not perceive
- 25:29that with each of you is called to lay down his life to struggle
- 25:33and pass through the portal of death?
- 25:36You stand in the immediate presence of judgment and that
- 25:38you are face to face with the facts of a news.
- 25:41Dispensation of service in the Eternal plan of the infinite
- 25:44father. What the whole world must face
- 25:47as a literal fact that the end of an age.
- 25:50You as individuals must each most, certainly face as a
- 25:54personal experience, when you reach the end of your natural
- 25:57life and thereby pass on to be confronted with the conditions
- 26:02and demands inherent in the next revelation of the Eternal
- 26:05progression of the father's Kingdom.
- 26:07So here he's saying, you know, you're worried about the end of
- 26:11humanity but you could die tomorrow.
- 26:14And you're going to go through that tomorrow, just as the Earth
- 26:18will someday. Go through it as a collective of
- 26:21all the discourses, which the Masters gave his Apostles.
- 26:24Nah, never became so confused in their minds as this one given
- 26:28this Tuesday evening on the Mount of Olives, regarding the
- 26:30to fold the subject of the destruction of Jerusalem and his
- 26:34own second coming. There was therefore a little
- 26:36agreement between the subsequent written accounts based on the
- 26:40memories of what the master said on this extraordinary occasion.
- 26:44Consequently when the records were left blank concerning much
- 26:47of what was said that Tuesday evening, there grew up many
- 26:50traditions and very early in the second century.
- 26:53A Jewish apocalyptic about the Messiah written by one, Celta
- 26:58SEL ta who was attached to the court of the emperor.
- 27:02Caligula was bodily copied into the Matthew gospel and
- 27:06subsequently added in part to Mark and Luke records.
- 27:10It was in these writings of Celta that the parable of the
- 27:13ten virgins. Ian's appeared.
- 27:15No. Part of the Gospel record.
- 27:16Ever suffered such confusing misconstruction, as this
- 27:20evenings teaching, but the Apostle, John never became thus
- 27:24confused. And it's interesting because the
- 27:27Apostle, John is the one who ended up writing Revelations,
- 27:31which is also, In the Book of Revelations, very descriptive of
- 27:35the end of times. You're at your book says in
- 27:39paper 176, as these 13 men, resumed, their journey toward
- 27:43the camp. They were speechless and under
- 27:46great emotional tension, Judas had finally confirmed his
- 27:50decision to abandon his associates.
- 27:52It was a late hour when David Zebedee John Mark and a number
- 27:55of the leading to saw disciples. Welcome Jesus.
- 27:58And the twelve to the new camp. But the apostles did not want to
- 28:02sleep. They wanted to know more about
- 28:04the destruction of Jerusalem, the Masters departure and the
- 28:07end of the World. As they gathered about the
- 28:10campfire, some 20 of them, Thomas ass.
- 28:13Since you are to return to finish the work of the Kingdom,
- 28:16what should be our attitude while you are away on the
- 28:19father's business as Jesus looked them over by the
- 28:22firelight he said and even you Thomas failed to comprehend.
- 28:27What I have been saying have I not all this time taught you
- 28:31that your connection with the kingdom is spiritual and
- 28:33individual olya matter or personal experience and the
- 28:38spirit of the faith realization that you are a son of God.
- 28:42What more shall I say? The downfall of Nations?
- 28:46The crash of Empires, the destruction of the unbelieving
- 28:49Jews, the end of an age, even the end of the world.
- 28:53What have these things to do? With one who believes this
- 28:56gospel? And who has hit his life and The
- 29:00Surety of the Eternal Kingdom, you who are God knowing and
- 29:05gospel believing have already received the assurances of
- 29:08eternal life since your lives have been lived in the spirit.
- 29:12And for the father, nothing can be of serious concern to you.
- 29:16Kingdom. Builders the accredited citizens
- 29:19of the Heavenly world are not to be disturbed by temporal
- 29:23upheavals or perturbed by terrestrial cataclysms.
- 29:28What does it matter to you? Who believe this Gospel of the
- 29:31Kingdom if Nations overturn the age ends or all things visible
- 29:36crash. Since you know that your life is
- 29:39the gift of the Sun and that it is eternally secure in the
- 29:43father having lived the temporal Life by faith.
- 29:46And Having yielded the fruits of the spirit as the righteousness
- 29:50of loving service for your fellows.
- 29:53You can confidently look forward to the next step in the Eternal
- 29:56career. With the same survival faith
- 29:59that has carried you through your first and Earthly adventure
- 30:03and sonship with God. East generation of Believers
- 30:07shall carry on their work in view of the possible Return of
- 30:10the son of man. Exactly as each individual
- 30:13believer carries forward, his life work in view of inevitable
- 30:19and ever impending, natural death when you have by faith,
- 30:23once established yourself, as a Son of God, nothing else matters
- 30:27as regards. The Surety of survival but make
- 30:30no mistake. The survival.
- 30:32Faith is a living faith. And it increasingly manifests
- 30:36the fruits of the Divine Spirit, which first inspired it in the
- 30:40human heart that you have once accepted sonship in the Heavenly
- 30:44Kingdom. Will not save you in the face of
- 30:47the knowing and persistent rejection of those truths which
- 30:51have to do with the progressive spiritual fruit.
- 30:53Bearing of the sons of God In the Flesh.
- 30:57You who have been with me in the father's business on Earth can
- 31:01even now desert the kingdom. If you find that you love not
- 31:05the way of the father service for mankind, As individuals.
- 31:09And as a generation of Believers hear me while I speak a parable,
- 31:14there was a certain great man who before starting out on a
- 31:17long journey to another country called all his trusted servants
- 31:21before him and delivered into their hands all his Goods.
- 31:26To one, he gave five talents to another two and to another.
- 31:29And so on, down through the entire group of honored
- 31:32stewards, To each, he entrusted, his Goods according to their
- 31:36several abilities. And then he set out on his
- 31:39journey. When their lord had departed,
- 31:41his servants set themselves to work to gain profits from the
- 31:45wealth and trusted to them immediately.
- 31:48He who had received the five talents began to trade with them
- 31:51and very soon had made a profit of another five talents in like
- 31:55manner, he who had received two talents soon, had gained two
- 31:58more, and so did all of these servants make gains for their
- 32:02Master accept. Him who'd received but one
- 32:05Talent, he went away by himself and dug a hole in the Earth
- 32:10where he hid his Lords money. Presently.
- 32:13The lord of the servants unexpectedly returned, and
- 32:15called upon his doors for a reckoning.
- 32:17And when they had been called before their Master, he who had
- 32:21received the five talents came forward with money, which had
- 32:24been entrusted to him and brought five additional talents
- 32:28saying, Lord, you have given me five talents to invest.
- 32:31And I'm glad to present five other talents as my game and
- 32:35then his lord said to him. Well done, good.
- 32:37And faithful servant. You have been Faithful over a
- 32:40few things I will now Asset you Steward, as Steward, over many,
- 32:44enter forthwith into the joy of your lord and then he had
- 32:49received. Two talents came forward saying
- 32:51Lord, you delivered into my hand to talents behold.
- 32:54I have gained those other two talents and his Lord then said
- 32:58to him well done, good and faithful servant.
- 33:01You have also been Faithful over a few things and I will now set
- 33:04you over many enter you into the joy of your lord.
- 33:09And Then There came to the accounting.
- 33:11He had received the one Talent. This servant came forward
- 33:14saying, Lord. I knew you and realize that you
- 33:17were a shrewd man and that you expected gains where you had not
- 33:20personally labored, therefore was I afraid to risk ought of
- 33:25that which is entrusted to me. I safely hid, your talents in
- 33:29the Earth but here it is. You now have what belongs to
- 33:33you. But the Lord answered.
- 33:36You are an indolent and slothful Steward by your own words, you
- 33:40confess that you knew. I would require of you and
- 33:43accounting with reasonable profit such as your diligent
- 33:46fellow servants. Have this day rendered, knowing
- 33:49this, you ought therefore to have at least put my money into
- 33:53the hands of the bankers that on my return on might have received
- 33:56my own with interest. And then to the chief steward,
- 34:00this lord said, take away this one Talent from this
- 34:03unprofitable servant and give it to him.
- 34:05Who has the ten talents to everyone?
- 34:08Who has more shall be given and he shall have abundance.
- 34:12But from him who has not even that which he has shall be taken
- 34:16away. Should you go about the work of
- 34:19the father's business now and henceforth even forever, more
- 34:23carry on until I come and faithfulness do that, which is
- 34:27entrusted to you and thereby, shall you be ready for the
- 34:31Reckoning call of death and having thus live for the glory
- 34:35of the father and the satisfaction of the sun, you
- 34:38shall enter with joy and exceedingly, great pleasure in
- 34:41the Eternal service of the Everlasting Kingdom.
- 34:45Truth is Living Truth. The spirit of Truth is ever
- 34:47leading the children of light into new Realms of spiritual
- 34:50reality and divine service. You are not given truth to
- 34:54crystallize into settled safe and honored forms, your
- 34:58revelation of Truth must be so unhinged by passing through,
- 35:02your personal experience that new Beauty and actual spiritual
- 35:05gains will be disclosed to all who behold your spiritual fruits
- 35:11and in consequence therefore are led to glorify the father.
- 35:14Who is in heaven? Only those Faithful Servants
- 35:18who, thus, grow in the knowledge of the truth and who thereby
- 35:21develop the capacity for divine appreciation of spiritual
- 35:25realities can ever hope to quote enter fully into the joy of
- 35:29their lord. What a sorry sight for
- 35:32successive Generations. A professed followers of Jesus
- 35:36to say regarding their stewardship of divine.
- 35:38Truth here Masters the truth, you committed to us a hundred or
- 35:43thousand years ago. Have lost nothing.
- 35:45We have Faithfully preserved. All you gave us.
- 35:48We have allowed no changes to be made to that which you taught
- 35:51us. Here is the truth.
- 35:53You gave us, but such a plea concerning spiritual insolence,
- 35:58will not justify the baron Steward of Truth in the presence
- 36:01of the master in accordance with the truth committed to your
- 36:04hands. Will the master of Truth.
- 36:06Require a reckoning In the next World, you will be asked to give
- 36:11an account of the endowments and stewardship of this world.
- 36:16Whether inherent talents are few or many, a, just, and merciful
- 36:20Reckoning must be faced if endowments are used only in
- 36:24selfish Pursuits, and no thought is bestowed upon the higher duty
- 36:28of obtaining increased yields of the fruits of the spirit as they
- 36:32are manifested. In the ever-expanding service of
- 36:35men and the worship of God such selfish stewards must accept the
- 36:39consequences of their deliberate choosing and how much like all
- 36:44selfish Mortals was Is this Unfaithful servant with the one
- 36:48talent and then he blamed his slothfulness directly upon his
- 36:52Lord. How prone is man, when he is
- 36:54confronted with the failures of his own making, put the blame
- 36:58upon others, often times upon those, who least deserve.
- 37:01It said Jesus that night as they went to their rest freely.
- 37:05Have you received therefore freely, should you give the
- 37:09truth of heaven? And in the giving Will this
- 37:12truth multiply and show forth the increasing light?
- 37:15Saving grace even as you have ministered, it paper 176 section
- 37:22four paragraph 1 of all the Masters teachings.
- 37:25No one phase has been so misunderstood as his promise.
- 37:29Some time to come back in person to this world, it is not
- 37:33strange. That Michael should be
- 37:34interested in some time returning to the planet, where
- 37:38on he experienced his seventh and last bestowal as a mortal of
- 37:41the realm, It is only natural to believe that Jesus of Nazareth
- 37:45now, Sovereign ruler of a vast Universe would be interested in
- 37:49coming back. Not only once, but even many
- 37:51times to the world where, and he lived such a unique life.
- 37:55And finally, one for himself, the father's unlimited bestowal
- 37:58of universe, power and authority.
- 38:00Your Rancho will eternally be one of the seven Nativity
- 38:03spheres of Michael in the winning of universe sovereignty.
- 38:08Jesus did on numerous occasions and too many individuals
- 38:12declare. His intention of returning to
- 38:13this world and his followers awakened to the fact that their
- 38:17master was not going to function as a temporal deliverer and as
- 38:22they listened to his predictions of the overthrow of Jerusalem
- 38:25and the downfall of the Jewish Nation, they naturally began to
- 38:29associate his promise returned with these catastrophic events.
- 38:34Do we do that today? Do we look at all the
- 38:37catastrophe going on? And so let's be n times.
- 38:40Jesus is just coming continuing on, but when the Roman armies
- 38:45level, the walls of Jerusalem, destroyed the temple and
- 38:48disperse, the Judean Jews, and still the master did not reveal
- 38:52himself in power and Glory. His followers began the
- 38:55formulation of that belief, which eventually Associated the
- 38:59second coming of Christ, with the end of an age, even with the
- 39:02end of the world, Jesus promised to do two things after he
- 39:06ascended to the father. And after all power in heaven,
- 39:09and on Earth has been placed in his hands.
- 39:12He promised first to send into the world and in his stead,
- 39:16another teacher, the spirit of Truth and this he did on the day
- 39:19of Pentecost, second. He most certainly promised his
- 39:23followers that he would some time personally return to this
- 39:26world. But he did not say how where, or
- 39:30when he would revisit this planet of his pistole experience
- 39:34in the flesh on one occasion. He intimated that whereas the
- 39:38eyes of Flesh had beheld him, when he lived here in the flesh
- 39:42on his return at least on one of his possible visits, he would be
- 39:46discerned only by the eyes of the spiritual faith.
- 39:51Many of us. And this is from the Riders, the
- 39:55midwayers who put this narrative together, many of us are
- 39:58inclined to believe that Jesus will return to your ancha many
- 40:01times during the ages to come. We do not have his specific
- 40:06promise to make these plural visits but it seems most
- 40:09probable that he will that he who carries among his Universe
- 40:13titles that of planetary, Prince of Urantia will many times.
- 40:17Visit the world, whose Conquest conferred, such a unique title
- 40:21upon him. We most positively believe that
- 40:24Michael will again come in person to Urantia.
- 40:27But we have not the slightest idea as to when or in what
- 40:30Manner, he may choose to come. Will his second event on Earth,
- 40:35be time to occur in connection with a terminal Judgment of this
- 40:38present age either with or without the associated
- 40:41appearance of a magisterial son, will he come in connection with
- 40:46a termination of some subsequent your Ranch in age?
- 40:50Will he come unannounced and as an isolated event?
- 40:53We do not know, only one thing. We are certain of that is when
- 40:57he does return, all the world will likely know about it.
- 41:01For, he must come as the supreme ruler of a universe and not as
- 41:06an obscure babe of Bethlehem. But if every eye is to Behold
- 41:10Him, and if only spiritual eyes are to discern his presence,
- 41:15then must his Advent, belonged to Ferdinand.
- 41:18So, they're saying there that if it's true, and he's coming back
- 41:21and all the world will see him, it's going to be a long time
- 41:24before. All of the world is ready to see
- 41:27him. That's my interpretation.
- 41:30And there's finally, there's this you would do well,
- 41:32therefore to disassociate the Masters personal return to Earth
- 41:36from any and all set of ends or Told epics.
- 41:40We are sure of only one thing. He has promised to come back.
- 41:45We have no idea as to when he will or the way he will.
- 41:49Fulfill his promise or in what connection as far as we know.
- 41:53He may appear on Earth any day and he may not come until age
- 41:57after age has passed and been duly adjudicated by his
- 42:01Associated. Sons of the paradise core.
- 42:04The second Advent of Michael on Earth is an event of tremendous
- 42:08sentimental value to both Midway.
- 42:10Bears and humans. But otherwise it is of no
- 42:14immediate moment to midwayers and of no more, practical
- 42:18importance to human, beings than the comment event of natural
- 42:23death. Which so suddenly precipitates,
- 42:26mortal man into the immediate grasp of that succession of
- 42:30universe events which leads directly to the presence of this
- 42:33same Jesus, The Sovereign ruler of our universe.
- 42:38The children of light are all destined to see him and it is of
- 42:42no serious concern whether we go to him or whether he should come
- 42:46first to us. Bu therefore only ready to
- 42:50welcome him on Earth as he stands.
- 42:53Ready to welcome you in heaven, we confidently look for his
- 42:57glorious appearing, even for repeated Cummings but we are
- 43:01wholly ignorant as to how when or in what connection.
- 43:05He is destined to appear. So they give us the story, the
- 43:10account and then they throw in some suggestions, some ideas on
- 43:14what we should consider and that wraps up paper 176 on the
- 43:18Masters second coming and it also brings us to a close of
- 43:22this edition of the Rancher Radio podcast.
- 43:26And as promised, I said, I would play this wonderful tune from a
- 43:30gentleman who has been reading. The Urantia Book for a long,
- 43:33long time, guy by the name of Tom, had a bridge takes us away.
- 43:37And again, if Want to contact us on the ranch, Radio podcast, you
- 43:41can do. So your aunt, your book radio at

- 44:05side. Life Everlasting.
- 44:11I shall not as divine presence. Want for food, nor thirst for
- 44:15water though. I don't damage the valley of
- 44:19uncertainty or send up into the worlds of death though.
- 44:24I though I triumphed in the choirs of light or falter in the
- 44:31solitary places of the Spheres, you're good.
- 44:35Spiritual minister to me. Angel will comfort me?
- 44:41No, I descended to the depths of darkness and death itself.
