- 2:58Speaker 11: It's like a little twin me Manna, hell listen, believe
- 3:02Speaker 11: these listen. It's a lot of t tedious recording, you
- 3:06Speaker 11: know what I'm saying, a lot of different background.
- 3:08Speaker 4: And I'll be smoking that nigga.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Don't your voice really don't get warm to about twelve pm?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Yeah that's true.
- 3:18Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, but when you start singing like he be
- 3:21Speaker 11: up in there, he warm up?
- 3:23Speaker 3: Oh, start warming up?
- 3:24Speaker 11: You can you can tell, like you know, I start
- 3:26Speaker 11: warming up. You can tell, like fizz there, you start
- 3:28Speaker 11: warming up like your fist, like you turn it up
- 3:30Speaker 11: a little bit, like it starts cooking after a while.
- 3:32Speaker 7: Yeah, individual warm up.
- 3:34Speaker 5: But like.
- 3:36Speaker 3: About an eighth tree.
- 3:39Speaker 11: In me and Mine and me and book, we follow
- 3:41Speaker 11: old a regiment when he does just vocal warm up.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah, this is a little warm up, you know what
- 3:46Speaker 3: I'm saying. Yeah, that's sleep that's sleepy fans right there.
- 3:52Speaker 8: Get the pictures out of you picture I mean, you
- 3:57Speaker 8: can send it to the producer. We can put it
- 3:59Speaker 8: on the screen, closed out.
- 4:01Speaker 2: He wasn't sleep.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I thought I was gonna get him.
- 4:04Speaker 8: He was looking at was looking He's looking down. So
- 4:07Speaker 8: it's not no, there's no warm in the regimen.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Not as warm tea.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, for my preferred beverages, not warm tea. But
- 4:15Speaker 5: we're gonna just leave it at that. You know, I
- 4:17Speaker 5: don't warm up with tea.
- 4:19Speaker 12: Like a certain waters his cut water like tea up.
- 4:36Speaker 9: You know what I mean?
- 4:38Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:39Speaker 1: What what was the what was the temperament of the
- 4:42Speaker 1: crew to say, you know what, let's let's get together,
- 4:44Speaker 1: let's do a single, and I'm assuming we're going to.
- 4:46Speaker 9: Have an album.
- 4:47Speaker 8: Yeah, absolutely project.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean coming back for the tour.
- 4:52Speaker 8: Who said something first in the boat chat?
- 4:53Speaker 11: So I called this Nigga Mario and I was like, listen,
- 4:57Speaker 11: Nigga's going on twenty years, Nigga, you've been solo. My nigga,
- 4:59Speaker 11: we need you for this album. And you pull him
- 5:01Speaker 11: up for what he said. Nigga sent me the addy.
- 5:06Speaker 9: And now comes the truth. Finish what you're saying, bro.
- 5:11Speaker 4: No, I was gonna just say that, you know. After well, well,
- 5:14Speaker 4: first of all, this is uh, you know, trailing from
- 5:17Speaker 4: the Millennium Tour twenty nineteen, you know where we were
- 5:20Speaker 4: all in different spaces, spaces and phases of our lives
- 5:24Speaker 4: and and daddy hood ship, you know what I mean.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Shout out to Raz.
- 5:28Speaker 4: He just had his other child.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Second, you know what I'm saying, words a boy.
- 5:35Speaker 11: In other words, Ras grew up a little bitt It's
- 5:37Speaker 11: crazy niggah.
- 5:38Speaker 8: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 3: We put him in the back, put him in we
- 5:40Speaker 3: put him in the truck. Yeah yeah, yeah, because he
- 5:43Speaker 3: did finished that tour, but he finished.
- 5:45Speaker 4: This happened right he finished this tour, and it was
- 5:52Speaker 4: just a larger conversation about what's possible for our group
- 5:54Speaker 4: because you know, in comparison to a lot of the
- 5:57Speaker 4: other groups, we haven't really had a long runway to
- 6:01Speaker 4: create the things that we wanted to as men, you
- 6:03Speaker 4: know what I'm saying. So an album made sense, and
- 6:06Speaker 4: it was an opportunity with some money on the flow.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And that's actually like that money on the flow, money
- 6:12Speaker 4: on flows, money on the flowing to get lit. So
- 6:16Speaker 4: as soon as we finished the tour, you know what
- 6:18Speaker 4: I mean, we started preparing for this album. And I
- 6:21Speaker 4: think it was only I mean it was it was
- 6:23Speaker 4: it was before before it was a little bit before
- 6:25Speaker 4: the tour and yeah, that's what that's why we are
- 6:28Speaker 4: here in a as well.
- 6:29Speaker 3: You know what I mean, we're finishing up that.
- 6:31Speaker 4: But we got some bangers and I'm so happy that
- 6:33Speaker 4: people botany.
- 6:37Speaker 3: But but go ahead, bug.
- 6:38Speaker 4: It looked like you want to say something, what you're
- 6:39Speaker 4: going to say?
- 6:39Speaker 9: I was just I love the answer, man, you know
- 6:41Speaker 9: what I'm saying.
- 6:42Speaker 5: It was everything you know, I think was the one
- 6:45Speaker 5: that I want to get in there.
- 6:50Speaker 4: It made it made it made sense. It made sense
- 6:52Speaker 4: for us, It made sense for all all where we're
- 6:55Speaker 4: at in our relationship. You know, those tough conversations us maturing.
- 6:59Speaker 4: You know, we never were able to make adult music
- 7:02Speaker 4: as adults.
- 7:03Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. We made adult music as kids.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You take, I need some money, nigga, let's go on.
- 7:09Speaker 9: To it now. This album, though, man's we y'all gonna.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Get to see who we really are.
- 7:19Speaker 5: I feel like when we did the music as a
- 7:20Speaker 5: younger bach K, it was like label designed and they
- 7:23Speaker 5: were picking songs that they thought were green radio.
- 7:26Speaker 2: This were really probably you know, work, but it's something
- 7:29Speaker 2: around you know we Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 1: You guys, a veteran, you know what I'm saying, so
- 7:33Speaker 1: now you're dropping the music, it's a lot more curated
- 7:36Speaker 1: from us, our conversations, our experience, a lot together separately
- 7:42Speaker 1: as well a lot.
- 7:44Speaker 13: You know, you guys defined an era of music, and
- 7:46Speaker 13: I think a lot of it came from like the
- 7:48Speaker 13: chemistry that you had as and so hearing you talk
- 7:52Speaker 13: about like the degree of maturity that you go individually experienced,
- 7:56Speaker 13: Like what.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Do you think people are going to get different now?
- 8:01Speaker 4: Probably a lot more edge, you know, because of the experience.
- 8:04Speaker 2: And we're adults, so we can.
- 8:06Speaker 8: There's gonna be some cussing now, it's gonna be a
- 8:07Speaker 8: little bit.
- 8:10Speaker 4: That we wanted to before as kids on record now
- 8:14Speaker 4: along with the experience that we've all. Yeah, and I
- 8:17Speaker 4: would say contexts, you know what I'm saying, Like we
- 8:19Speaker 4: can really speak about, you know, knowledge and how you know,
- 8:25Speaker 4: growing up really shows you if you if you're really
- 8:28Speaker 4: vibing with somebody like you do have to look past things.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I'm not saying, you know, you gotta get an.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Old beat up whip, you know what I'm saying.
- 8:36Speaker 4: You can get a new whip, but you know, for
- 8:38Speaker 4: the most part, ones cars get on the road, they'd
- 8:41Speaker 4: depreciate you know what I'm saying.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So you guys have a real little fan base as
- 8:52Speaker 1: well that also grew up with you guys. So I'm
- 8:54Speaker 1: happy that you guys are back together doing music together
- 8:57Speaker 1: because I feel like the fans were like, this is
- 9:00Speaker 1: good because your fans are grown ups too. A lot
- 9:03Speaker 1: of your fans were kids, and then it's an opportunity
- 9:06Speaker 1: to get new fans because a lot of the younger kids.
- 9:09Speaker 1: When I wait, my older brother, older sister, they know them,
- 9:16Speaker 1: My mama know them, and Okay, they making music that
- 9:20Speaker 1: I like too, So I feel like that's important.
- 9:22Speaker 5: No, it is, and I think that was That was
- 9:24Speaker 5: another key element to why we decided to do the album.
- 9:28Speaker 5: It's because we kind of felt like we left them
- 9:31Speaker 5: without giving them this version, you know what I mean,
- 9:33Speaker 5: Like they.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Didn't get to get they didn't get to get this sauce.
- 9:36Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. They got the preheat, but
- 9:38Speaker 2: they didn't get to you know that.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So not us only feeling like we
- 9:44Speaker 5: owe it to our fans because we just shook on
- 9:46Speaker 5: them just out of nowhere.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Group broke up gone, you know what I mean?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Was it a breakup because it didn't feel like a breakup.
- 9:53Speaker 1: It just felt like you stopped.
- 9:56Speaker 2: It was a break I get you.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Look then, niggas like I'm gonna solo because you know.
- 10:04Speaker 14: It was not.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Growing pains.
- 10:10Speaker 4: No, it was I mean that story has been Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 4: that was conquer and divide from upper parties.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 7: So do you feel like that that made you gut stronger?
- 10:20Speaker 12: Now?
- 10:21Speaker 11: That should pissed me off. I was like, man, I
- 10:23Speaker 11: gotta get these niggas back together. But you know what
- 10:25Speaker 11: I'm saying, these niggas, don't you know? No all bullsh
- 10:29Speaker 11: it aside. I'm I'm really grateful and and happy that
- 10:33Speaker 11: we're in a great space and we have our friendship.
- 10:35Speaker 11: That was really important for us because besides the business,
- 10:37Speaker 11: we were friends, right and you know, there was you know,
- 10:40Speaker 11: outside noise that probably you know had a lot of
- 10:42Speaker 11: influence in our growth. And it was dope that we
- 10:44Speaker 11: all were able to go down our own journeys and
- 10:46Speaker 11: realize what we built and the fact that we were
- 10:48Speaker 11: able to come back to it and honor it, and
- 10:50Speaker 11: and and and and like books said, be able to
- 10:52Speaker 11: uh complete what we where we left off at so
- 10:55Speaker 11: to be able to experience this mature beat, k I
- 10:58Speaker 11: mean this had Pushy on the record. I'm like, wow,
- 11:02Speaker 11: that before you know, but like you know, we're just
- 11:05Speaker 11: we're just having fun. We're experimenting with our voices, but
- 11:08Speaker 11: officially arrived. Yeah no, seriously, physics grow Yeah, it's really dope.
- 11:13Speaker 3: It's really dope.
- 11:14Speaker 4: We've all pro created and have kids.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Fatherhood has played a big part in your.
- 11:22Speaker 2: What brew me up?
- 11:23Speaker 3: Like crazy?
- 11:25Speaker 7: So when you say grow you up? You know I'm
- 11:27Speaker 7: the one who breaks people down. Here, what's your largest lesson?
- 11:31Speaker 13: Like, individually, go around the table, just tell me, like,
- 11:34Speaker 13: what do you think your greatest lesson the fatherhood that's
- 11:36Speaker 13: contributed to you being a better man?
- 11:38Speaker 3: M you want to start fitting ahead? I would say.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Self reflection, the ability to balance yourself, you know with
- 11:53Speaker 4: giving you know, the others and and also looking outside
- 11:57Speaker 4: of yourself, you know, doing things with a deeper purpose
- 11:59Speaker 4: in me. He really recognizing, like yo, because that definitely
- 12:04Speaker 4: came up for us, you know what I'm saying. Like
- 12:06Speaker 4: initially in twenty nineteen, before we went on tour.
- 12:11Speaker 3: It was like not a thought in my mind.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I was like, no, I'm not cool, you know what
- 12:15Speaker 4: I'm saying, Like we went through so much, but you know,
- 12:17Speaker 4: having kids and you know, realizing like my kids missed
- 12:21Speaker 4: out on that whole you know run and journey and
- 12:25Speaker 4: seeing me go through what I went through, you know,
- 12:28Speaker 4: to get where I am today. And I thought about
- 12:32Speaker 4: my kids when it was time to link back up
- 12:33Speaker 4: with my dogs, and oh, they'll be able to see
- 12:36Speaker 4: us perform. They'll really be able to get some context.
- 12:39Speaker 4: And you know, I think that did a lot for
- 12:41Speaker 4: my son because he definitely got the song bug and
- 12:45Speaker 4: the entertainment bug, you know what I mean. So it
- 12:48Speaker 4: matured me in that way. It's made me a lot
- 12:52Speaker 4: more selfless but also selfish, you know, the balancing act
- 12:56Speaker 4: of that. I think it made me focus on that
- 12:59Speaker 4: a little bit more so. I will say that's probably
- 13:01Speaker 4: my greatest lesson.
- 13:05Speaker 2: That's how That's how he, I would wrap you up making.
- 13:10Speaker 3: That's yeah, that's that's how he is. Yeah, I don't
- 13:15Speaker 3: I don't want to.
- 13:15Speaker 8: Say, who wants to go.
- 13:23Speaker 7: Fatherhood? What is the greatest lesson that you learned as
- 13:26Speaker 7: matured you as a man?
- 13:28Speaker 2: Man?
- 13:28Speaker 11: I got to be responsible, I got a little I
- 13:29Speaker 11: got some little eyes looking up at me, and it's
- 13:32Speaker 11: like it's taught me grace. It's taught me more patience
- 13:34Speaker 11: and more responsibility. More accountability is crazy when being yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 11: being being more organized, being more punctual, and being there
- 13:41Speaker 11: like these last few days, it's been a pleasure to.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Be with my guys.
- 13:44Speaker 11: But when I'm by the time we get home three
- 13:46Speaker 11: four o'clock in the morning, they already sleep, so I'm
- 13:48Speaker 11: like missing them and I'm actually like residing in the city,
- 13:51Speaker 11: you know, temporarily, right, So so there's those things gives
- 13:55Speaker 11: me a divine purpose and intentions. You know, I'm not
- 13:58Speaker 11: you know, like everything is lined up all my kids,
- 14:01Speaker 11: that bank accounts, that uls, you know what I'm saying,
- 14:04Speaker 11: Like life showing like like all that type of stuff
- 14:06Speaker 11: that I took for granted, Like I put that shit
- 14:08Speaker 11: in place, I can sleep at night and on that
- 14:10Speaker 11: like something happened to me. My kids are taking care
- 14:11Speaker 11: of So that's really helpful with my business as well.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys pretty much took all the answers. The
- 14:19Speaker 5: biggest lesson for me was just really understanding that I
- 14:23Speaker 5: was the example.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Damn took mine.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Bro I mean, this is my guy right here, so
- 14:32Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure that you know, we went through a
- 14:34Speaker 5: lot of this time together.
- 14:35Speaker 2: So that's probably why.
- 14:37Speaker 5: But I'm the example, you know, I'm the language that
- 14:39Speaker 5: they learn. I am the way that they cope by
- 14:43Speaker 5: watching me how I coped. I'm the way that they
- 14:45Speaker 5: react because they're they They're learning everything, you know, from
- 14:50Speaker 5: watching me. So that was the biggest lesson that I learned,
- 14:53Speaker 5: is that I had to grow up because I would
- 14:55Speaker 5: I would see my children, like even with their friends,
- 14:59Speaker 5: handle things a certain way, and I'd be like, hey, man,
- 15:01Speaker 5: what Dad, you did it?
- 15:03Speaker 9: You know what I'm saying, And I'm like, damn, I can't.
- 15:07Speaker 13: Even they're not coming at you from an unpure place
- 15:14Speaker 13: like you're coming at you from little observation.
- 15:17Speaker 5: I learned that that was my biggest lesson was like,
- 15:20Speaker 5: you know, you are you are the mold, the first
- 15:22Speaker 5: thing that they that they experience, and and how you
- 15:25Speaker 5: do everything, you know, is probably how they're going to
- 15:28Speaker 5: initially before they kind of turn into themselves and have
- 15:31Speaker 5: other experiences in the world as examples.
- 15:34Speaker 9: You are the first, you know what I mean. If
- 15:36Speaker 9: you teach them Spanish, you teach them Portuguese, you know
- 15:38Speaker 9: what I mean.
- 15:38Speaker 2: You are the language, you are the example. You are
- 15:41Speaker 2: the way for sure.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Yeah, like I said, like he said, being an example,
- 15:48Speaker 4: you know, I realized because my son has dreams of
- 15:51Speaker 4: being an NBA player, So for him, I had to
- 15:55Speaker 4: because I'm in a whole nother field of work being
- 15:59Speaker 4: example how to come through showing consistency and what it
- 16:03Speaker 4: is that I'm trying to do. So being that example
- 16:08Speaker 4: has led me to realize, Okay, success is really through
- 16:13Speaker 4: through consistency, and if you want to reach those heights
- 16:17Speaker 4: that you're trying to go, just do it every day.
- 16:20Speaker 4: And showing him doing being around the guys every day,
- 16:24Speaker 4: showing up to the studio, going to the gym every day,
- 16:26Speaker 4: he's like, my dad wants it, Yeah, I want it
- 16:29Speaker 4: to I gotta do.
- 16:30Speaker 2: It this way.
- 16:31Speaker 1: He's do you guys feel like it's going to be
- 16:36Speaker 1: a little easier to reignite your fans knowing that you
- 16:42Speaker 1: guys have great music on.
- 16:43Speaker 2: The way we do.
- 16:45Speaker 9: Got some bangers, slaps, you got some bangers. I think
- 16:48Speaker 9: everybody will be surprised, like, whoa, Okay, I'm.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Excited that the market is definitely interesting, and it's just
- 16:59Speaker 5: if I could be straight, it's oversaturated, you know, overly, So.
- 17:05Speaker 9: To speak to consistent, you know.
- 17:07Speaker 5: We have to make sure that we constantly put out
- 17:10Speaker 5: more product, more pieces for them to be able to put.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You guys are namesake, So yeah, it's are easier to penetrate.
- 17:17Speaker 8: Pause if you're breaking through, you guys are already broken.
- 17:28Speaker 9: Break out. He's out now.
- 17:32Speaker 8: I can't even say what I'm trying.
- 17:34Speaker 13: What he's trying to say is, did you guys already
- 17:37Speaker 13: have a loyal fan base and you can more easily
- 17:40Speaker 13: expand on that pre existing relationship that you have based
- 17:44Speaker 13: on what you are putting out now?
- 17:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that's one thing we don't take for granted, you know,
- 17:49Speaker 3: having that loyal fan base.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just everything tries to bury it so fast.
- 17:56Speaker 9: That's what my point was.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Of course, you know, we understand we got a fan base,
- 18:00Speaker 5: but you know, in this time in the game, you
- 18:02Speaker 5: just gotta stay you gotta stay active, you know what
- 18:04Speaker 5: I mean.
- 18:04Speaker 2: That's a focus for us.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Because we know you post something two seconds later, it's gone,
- 18:10Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, Like, so just making sure
- 18:12Speaker 5: it reaches them, you know, I think it will definitely
- 18:14Speaker 5: be most important.
- 18:15Speaker 2: But yeah, I think they're ready.
- 18:16Speaker 8: I think you guys are killing with that content. Good
- 18:18Speaker 8: content though.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Straight up, there's four of y'all straight up.
- 18:21Speaker 8: Versus it just being one artist.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So you guys have hell of content to do individually
- 18:26Speaker 1: together and I can't wait to hear the project.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Eclips.
- 18:30Speaker 3: That's the title of the album.
- 18:31Speaker 8: So the album is called you Clips.
- 18:34Speaker 5: You want to break it down for to say, I
- 18:38Speaker 5: don't in the studio breaking it down. I'm like, yeah,
- 18:43Speaker 5: now we know what the eclipse is. You got to
- 18:45Speaker 5: hear his explor I want to know now.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Don't put me on the spot.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Well, in the meantime, we can talk about that O
- 18:51Speaker 3: two album out.
- 18:53Speaker 11: You know, I appreciate it. Sell U celebrating, you know
- 18:57Speaker 11: what I'm saying. What it was twenty five years and yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 11: Nigga was this Nigga was so lo longer than we
- 19:03Speaker 11: was a group.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Damn, Nigga.
- 19:06Speaker 4: I've been outside.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I said, thanks for coming back.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You know.
- 19:12Speaker 3: We had to make it warm, warm and s and
- 19:14Speaker 3: warm and cozy for beat.
- 19:20Speaker 11: I got a fire ass record out right now and
- 19:22Speaker 11: sleut to him, man, So yeah, make sure I checked
- 19:24Speaker 11: that out too.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but he clips it's coming.
- 19:29Speaker 8: He was waiting on the explanation you wanted that.
- 19:32Speaker 7: I'm sorry, thought she was going in the notes like
- 19:35Speaker 7: I was.
- 19:35Speaker 9: Taking the text got pass the time.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Now y'all really want that definition?
- 19:42Speaker 9: What's what's your definition?
- 19:43Speaker 4: You could hold up talk about something else, and I'm
- 19:46Speaker 4: gonna get because I gotta find my notes.
- 19:48Speaker 3: What are your thoughts on what's your perspective of when
- 19:51Speaker 3: you heard the song?
- 19:51Speaker 7: One thing about me? I'm a very honest person I
- 19:53Speaker 7: haven't heard of yet.
- 19:54Speaker 13: Okay, to hook on what you said, though, I like
- 20:01Speaker 13: titling of it. I like the titling of it because
- 20:03Speaker 13: it's giving that there's growth in that. You guys are
- 20:06Speaker 13: accumulated miles and your evolution as men, so it gives
- 20:10Speaker 13: different meaning.
- 20:10Speaker 7: As I'm hearing, I think.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I think the first one who could get her right?
- 20:14Speaker 14: Okay, gave us a banger brom.
- 20:32Speaker 8: So we don't get flatted on ut. I'll stop in
- 20:35Speaker 8: thirty TA don't care about your mind.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I don't know some d.
- 20:53Speaker 7: It's giving. See, I'm a R and B girl, so
- 20:55Speaker 7: I love the essence of like the old R and B.
- 20:58Speaker 7: But you can hear the in your lyrics.
- 21:01Speaker 3: All that what you think about the record, That's what
- 21:03Speaker 3: I'm saying. You can.
- 21:17Speaker 13: I'm a I'm a person where you captivate me with
- 21:19Speaker 13: the sound. First then I listened to what you said.
- 21:22Speaker 13: So what he's saying is exactly what I expected him
- 21:26Speaker 13: to say based on what you broke down with knowledge.
- 21:28Speaker 7: Is that like, I'm okay with the fact that you
- 21:31Speaker 7: have seasoning on you. You know, you have experience, you.
- 21:34Speaker 13: Have time, you have effort put into whatever it is
- 21:37Speaker 13: you are right now, and you feel that. But see
- 21:40Speaker 13: the vibe. The vibe is what captivates you first. So
- 21:43Speaker 13: I like, I like the back, I like the noise
- 21:45Speaker 13: in the background, like the beat it first.
- 21:49Speaker 7: Yeah, big energy.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Appreciate that. Thank you, no.
- 21:54Speaker 13: Definitely, But you hear the growth through and I like
- 21:56Speaker 13: the fact that I hadn't heard it before you explained
- 21:59Speaker 13: what it meant to wow, because it makes me listen different.
- 22:02Speaker 13: That's just the way that I listen to music.
- 22:03Speaker 7: Though.
- 22:04Speaker 8: That's what also let you know how much music it
- 22:07Speaker 8: is out here right that we have.
- 22:09Speaker 1: You guys have to be on in the algorithm.
- 22:11Speaker 9: As much as what I was saying, that was that
- 22:13Speaker 9: point that I was making a.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Digestic This came out July seventeen. In August, this is
- 22:18Speaker 1: this interview will come out next week, so we in August.
- 22:22Speaker 1: It's just so much music for the consumer to digest.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you feel they.
- 22:27Speaker 8: Said something like have to be on the top line.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Yeah, they say something like one hundred thousand releases a month,
- 22:33Speaker 4: day a day.
- 22:34Speaker 8: Brother, that's this is one hundred percent facts.
- 22:36Speaker 2: We talked about that this morning.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Okay, one hundred thousand releases a day.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Bro.
- 22:40Speaker 2: It was probably all in a lots.
- 22:47Speaker 11: I'm just saying, what if we took back the industry
- 22:49Speaker 11: and made people pay like a honey granted distrit they music.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Cut that ship down with.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Mega stopped doing the call.
- 23:01Speaker 6: It was.
- 23:04Speaker 3: The ship back down.
- 23:05Speaker 5: It's like everybody got distribution at just you know that
- 23:08Speaker 5: goes back to them, to the labels and in the
- 23:10Speaker 5: quality control and all of that.
- 23:14Speaker 2: They can make a song YouTube.
- 23:17Speaker 8: And you could drop a song and virals from his
- 23:21Speaker 8: crib though.
- 23:22Speaker 9: And it could go viral.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Looked you know, he recorded his first record at the
- 23:28Speaker 1: crib playing around the girl trim cooking that water.
- 23:33Speaker 2: She would call that ship at the crib in the
- 23:35Speaker 2: college dorm.
- 23:36Speaker 9: Yeah, shouldn't like that.
- 23:38Speaker 2: With y'all studio.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Yeah, in facts, they got the studio in the backpack,
- 23:45Speaker 5: setting up right here real quick, two seconds.
- 23:47Speaker 9: Booms working songs and the songs these new songs is
- 23:50Speaker 9: two minutes. But you know the good part about you
- 23:52Speaker 9: know about all of that music, that how long they
- 23:54Speaker 9: took to.
- 23:56Speaker 11: The good part about all of that music. You're right,
- 24:00Speaker 11: a hit record And Michael Jackson said it hit record
- 24:02Speaker 11: is a hit record.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Great is great music. So that's a way of piercing. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:06Speaker 3: that's right way of all right, right, right.
- 24:10Speaker 12: Up.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't want to say.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Because I was.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I thought you was gonna say pierced through the veil.
- 24:20Speaker 9: All right, so eclipse on the eclipse coming out eclipse
- 24:23Speaker 9: you're about to say you got it? Oh yeah, I
- 24:26Speaker 9: was just the meaning.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Yeah, So I just was gonna break down.
- 24:30Speaker 4: You know, an eclipse is like from a celestial body
- 24:35Speaker 4: and it's illumination. And I think that at this particular
- 24:40Speaker 4: point in time in our career, you know, we're making
- 24:44Speaker 4: that transition from what we did to who we're becoming,
- 24:50Speaker 4: and there's any clips happening that's like, you know, it's
- 24:53Speaker 4: the darkest before the dawn.
- 24:55Speaker 3: So that eclipse come b two, k y'all be ready
- 24:59Speaker 3: for that ship miss.
- 25:02Speaker 8: Illumination. Yea, it has been that long? Yeah, wow, Paul,
- 25:11Speaker 8: fuck anyway, I didn't even say that.
- 25:15Speaker 1: When's the project coming out September September twenty fifth.
- 25:19Speaker 3: How many records I'm saying, twelve twelve. Yeah, at thirteen,
- 25:26Speaker 3: we have.
- 25:27Speaker 9: About forty songs recorded.
- 25:29Speaker 8: You're a narrative down twelve.
- 25:31Speaker 2: It's rough.
- 25:31Speaker 5: If you would have seen The White Boy yesterday, it
- 25:33Speaker 5: was like, yeah, we already like we we all got
- 25:36Speaker 5: Obviously we have to vote and sonically play the records
- 25:39Speaker 5: and put out figure out the sequences.
- 25:40Speaker 11: But we're already figuring, like damn this record making she
- 25:44Speaker 11: does not record. Oh damn, these other two just came in.
- 25:46Speaker 11: We may have to replace these two, Like you know, rough,
- 25:49Speaker 11: it's a good.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Problem to have. Yeah, amazing, straight up.
- 25:52Speaker 8: They sound like Mileage Brothers. I'm excited.
- 25:56Speaker 7: What do you guys feel like your process of elimination
- 25:59Speaker 7: is when you're doing that.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I think for me it's like it's like vibe and feeling,
- 26:06Speaker 4: you know, because so many songs sound good, but they're
- 26:10Speaker 4: not saying nothing, and they don't make you really feel
- 26:12Speaker 4: anything outside of it excited or sexual, you know what
- 26:15Speaker 4: I'm saying. So I think we do a good job
- 26:18Speaker 4: of having a mixture, you know what I mean. That's
- 26:21Speaker 4: what I feel like. The album truly represents, you know,
- 26:24Speaker 4: like a mixture of both. You know what I'm saying,
- 26:26Speaker 4: some content like knowledge.
- 26:28Speaker 7: Knowledge is a knowledge is a standard.
- 26:31Speaker 4: I feel I feel like it. Yeah, I feel like
- 26:34Speaker 4: because we want to say something. We want to talk
- 26:36Speaker 4: to y'all. You know what I'm saying. We don't want
- 26:37Speaker 4: to just turn up. We're gonna do that too on
- 26:40Speaker 4: the album, but we want to say something.
- 26:41Speaker 3: What you was about to say, fi, No, this.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Album is like a It's like a good plane ride,
- 26:49Speaker 4: like without turbulence or being on a boat without crashing waves.
- 26:54Speaker 4: When you know what I mean, you just like, man,
- 26:55Speaker 4: I really enjoyed that, Like that was a good flight.
- 26:58Speaker 4: I made it safe, right, I slept, I watched the movie,
- 27:01Speaker 4: you know what I mean? No Skip Yeah, no Skip project.
- 27:04Speaker 8: They're going from forty to twelve.
- 27:07Speaker 5: That's why it's really gonna be at We started at twelve.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, okay, and we back at forth Yeah okay,
- 27:16Speaker 4: I'm age.
- 27:24Speaker 9: Listen, man, we appreciate you guys with.
- 27:27Speaker 1: The last question, or unless Big K Big Energy has
- 27:31Speaker 1: another question, you guys ever thought about changing the name,
- 27:34Speaker 1: because as you guys regrouped and became men, was there
- 27:40Speaker 1: ever a thought of now not be t K let's be.
- 27:45Speaker 3: It was always you know what, I know what you're
- 27:47Speaker 3: gonna say.
- 27:48Speaker 9: But I feel like.
- 27:49Speaker 4: They how Sony, how Sony presented us, and the money
- 27:54Speaker 4: they put into the brand, we wouldn't want to you
- 27:57Speaker 4: know what I mean.
- 27:59Speaker 13: It's the leg see yeah, I feel like the name
- 28:02Speaker 13: it's defined by who you guys are. So it's going
- 28:05Speaker 13: to grow with you.
- 28:06Speaker 4: In every season, that's fact.
- 28:08Speaker 7: I'm excited to hear the growth though. I can hear
- 28:10Speaker 7: it in the way you guys talk. You gotta just
- 28:12Speaker 7: you know, blow my mind with the album.
- 28:14Speaker 3: That's what's up. And we're gonna do that now.
- 28:17Speaker 8: You know, if you guys do, we're gonna listen listening.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Management we got damn Now.
- 28:30Speaker 3: This has been a treat for us. Thinking we had fun.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I was a little silling goofy.
- 28:33Speaker 2: But you know, just.
- 28:38Speaker 9: Remember that coffee that you drinking.
- 28:43Speaker 2: In the building
- 28:45Speaker 8: Studio, y'all
