- 0:00Speaker 1: We're in studio with a guy who literally has a
- 0:03Speaker 1: massive following and hasn't even graced country radio yet, but
- 0:07Speaker 1: he's about to mattox bats. And what's up doing?
- 0:08Speaker 2: What's going on? How are you doing?
- 0:10Speaker 1: Life is good?
- 0:10Speaker 3: You?
- 0:11Speaker 2: I can't complain, you know, I'm just living it up.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I gotta say, because you just turned fourteen.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I just turned fifteen? Fifteen fifteen?
- 0:19Speaker 1: How's the driving thing going?
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's good?
- 0:21Speaker 3: I mean, all right, so I'm going to keep it
- 0:22Speaker 3: a whole buck. I do homeschool, right yeah, And I'm
- 0:25Speaker 3: like since I was on tour, I mean, I didn't
- 0:28Speaker 3: want to do school, but my mom may me do school.
- 0:30Speaker 2: But I'm a little bit behind, so I have to.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I have to get caught up like one.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Week or like two weeks of school, which takes like
- 0:35Speaker 3: two days for me. It's pretty easy to get caught up,
- 0:38Speaker 3: but like two weeks of school and then go get
- 0:40Speaker 3: my permit. But I'm a pretty good driver, just off
- 0:42Speaker 3: like growing up on a farm and driving around in
- 0:44Speaker 3: my papa's truck.
- 0:45Speaker 2: So I'm doing okay. I think I'll be all right.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So let me ask you the teachers versus the public
- 0:50Speaker 1: school versus homeschool. Which ones are better?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Definitely definitely homeschool, just because you know, I get two
- 0:56Speaker 3: teachers when I'm at homeschool, my father and my mother.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I mean, they're pretty legit. I'm pretty close with them.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Pretty good teachers.
- 1:02Speaker 2: But I mean I liked public school. It was cool.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I miss seeing all my friends, but homeschool's pretty legit
- 1:07Speaker 3: because I can get everything done by like eleven o'clock.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It's been roll, Yes, sir, What has this whole thing
- 1:13Speaker 1: been like? Because thanks to TikTok and YouTube and all that.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't want to say it's easier for an artist
- 1:20Speaker 1: to start a career, but there's definitely more options to
- 1:22Speaker 1: just begging a record label to listen to you and
- 1:24Speaker 1: give you a chance exactly. So what was that like
- 1:27Speaker 1: when things started to take off?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Dude? It was sick.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I mean from posting my first TikTok video and going
- 1:32Speaker 3: live for the first time on TikTok, I mean we
- 1:34Speaker 3: just saw like crazy just growth off rip, Like we
- 1:37Speaker 3: had crazy support. Like from my first live I'm getting
- 1:40Speaker 3: a couple hundred, couple of thousand viewers and just like
- 1:43Speaker 3: I have like a thousand followers. It's just crazy it's
- 1:45Speaker 3: just the love and support that people were giving me
- 1:48Speaker 3: just throughout, like the whole process, especially the beginning. It's
- 1:51Speaker 3: just it's just absolutely awesome. I mean it's great. I
- 1:54Speaker 3: give it all back to the fans. I mean, I
- 1:55Speaker 3: got a few fans sit in front of me right now,
- 1:57Speaker 3: so I just give it all back to them. But
- 1:59Speaker 3: it's just because I wouldn't be here talking to you
- 2:01Speaker 3: without them, and just it's been crazy.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It's been a crazy ride. And like you said, it's
- 2:05Speaker 2: it is.
- 2:06Speaker 3: It's like you said, you don't want to say it's easier,
- 2:09Speaker 3: but you definitely have more opportunities to get like recognized
- 2:13Speaker 3: and all that kind of stuff through the social media stuff.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So it's it's definitely awesome. I love all the opportunities.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Why now, obviously because of the fans that share the
- 2:21Speaker 1: same house as me. I've yeah, I can don't make
- 2:24Speaker 1: me sing, because I will, but no, I've gotten to
- 2:26Speaker 1: hear the songs and the music is good man. But
- 2:29Speaker 1: there's there's a lot of people your age, younger, older,
- 2:33Speaker 1: trying to break through the same as you did with
- 2:35Speaker 1: social media. Why do you think it was easy for
- 2:38Speaker 1: fans to see the first video and keep coming back.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I feel like, just to give a little bit of
- 2:44Speaker 3: advice to the other young artists out there trying to,
- 2:47Speaker 3: you know, break through in the social media game. It's just, uh,
- 2:50Speaker 3: you don't want to just do the music. You want
- 2:52Speaker 3: to show them a little bit of your personality. And
- 2:53Speaker 3: one of my biggest videos that blew up for me
- 2:56Speaker 3: during the beginning was one of my get ready with
- 2:58Speaker 3: me is Right? And I didn't see a whole lot
- 3:00Speaker 3: of people doing that, and I saw this one video
- 3:02Speaker 3: and I was just like, I think I could do that,
- 3:04Speaker 3: make it my own and make it just a little
- 3:06Speaker 3: bit of maddic, see, you know. And I posted one
- 3:08Speaker 3: of those and it, I mean, it did awesome. It
- 3:09Speaker 3: got like a couple million views. And that was one
- 3:11Speaker 3: of my first videos. So as long as you even
- 3:14Speaker 3: it out showing a little bit of personality and also
- 3:16Speaker 3: showing your music. If I mean, if you have a personality,
- 3:19Speaker 3: you know, yeah, you gotta have the personality, but but
- 3:23Speaker 3: if you have a personality and you just show that
- 3:25Speaker 3: a little bit, I feel like you can go a
- 3:27Speaker 3: long way with that.
- 3:28Speaker 2: One hundred percent.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Before music started taking off, was there something like, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I mean, you're still a young man. You're still growing up,
- 3:34Speaker 1: But is there something that you were Like, I want
- 3:36Speaker 1: to play baseball, I want to play football. I want
- 3:38Speaker 1: to build rocket ships with Elon Musk. But yeah, like no, that's.
- 3:42Speaker 2: What got me into music.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I mean I played basketball and baseball, where my two
- 3:46Speaker 3: main sports were really basketball, been playing that my entire
- 3:48Speaker 3: life was my first love. It's really all I wanted
- 3:51Speaker 3: to do up until I got this need disease. I
- 3:53Speaker 3: say this every time, but I get I got this
- 3:56Speaker 3: need disease on my right knee. It's called osgod Schlaughter's disease.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And we went to this the specialist who only like
- 4:02Speaker 3: works on this kind of disease, and he said it's
- 4:04Speaker 3: the worst one he's ever seen, and he's been doing
- 4:06Speaker 3: it for like forty years. So it was pretty disheartening,
- 4:08Speaker 3: but it is what it is. When one door opens,
- 4:10Speaker 3: another one, you know, cracks. But yeah, I couldn't run, jump, stop,
- 4:15Speaker 3: do anything to play basketball or any sports on this knee.
- 4:17Speaker 3: So I was prevented from playing anything for an entire summer.
- 4:20Speaker 3: And that's why me and my dad started getting back
- 4:22Speaker 3: into music and you know, play on TikTok and all
- 4:24Speaker 3: that kind of stuff. And ever since then it's just
- 4:26Speaker 3: kind of you know, snowballed and got bigger.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So did that start as something therapeutic for you then,
- 4:31Speaker 1: knowing that you were losing something that you kind of
- 4:33Speaker 1: could get lost in something else.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent, because I mean I was I
- 4:36Speaker 3: was bored out of my mind right Like I didn't
- 4:39Speaker 3: because previous summers I was either playing baseball or basketball
- 4:42Speaker 3: like every weekend, like all the time.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I was bored, like I didn't know what to do.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And it was actually my mom.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I give all the credits to my mom because she
- 4:51Speaker 3: started a TikTok account and just posted stuff like very
- 4:55Speaker 3: mom stuff, if you know what I mean. But it
- 4:58Speaker 3: was great. I love my mom for it. I give
- 5:00Speaker 3: all credit to her. But she was really the one
- 5:02Speaker 3: who was just like Max, I think you should start
- 5:04Speaker 3: going live on TikTok and just just give you something
- 5:07Speaker 3: to do with dad and that kind of stuff. Because
- 5:08Speaker 3: my dad, he grew up around music. He was in
- 5:10Speaker 3: like family bands and all that kind of stuff, bluegrass scene,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and he kind of passed that on down to me
- 5:15Speaker 3: and we got into it a few years prior.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Then it kind of fell off because of sports.
- 5:18Speaker 3: But then after I got hurt, we started picking back
- 5:21Speaker 3: up and started going live on TikTok.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So yeah, Dad's like you got hurt, we could make music.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Again, exactly exactly because like I'm I was never like
- 5:29Speaker 3: the biggest fan of the blue grass. I love bluegrass.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I have the biggest respect for the blue grass picker.
- 5:34Speaker 3: It's like, it's it's awesome. They're crazy talented, like my dad,
- 5:37Speaker 3: Like he's a like could be a professional mandolin picker.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It's awesome. But I have so much respect for them.
- 5:42Speaker 3: But it's never something that my mind was just like
- 5:44Speaker 3: really like going after and we went to like these
- 5:47Speaker 3: festivals and all this kind of stuff.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It was sick and I love it, but it was cool.
- 5:52Speaker 2: But he was pretty excited when I got hurt. I
- 5:55Speaker 2: guess you could say, yes.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Well, so that dad is a world class picker. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 1: at some point, where's the collab coming?
- 6:03Speaker 3: No, I wish it does. Bro, he's got to get
- 6:04Speaker 3: in the studio with me. Every time I ask, he's like, no,
- 6:06Speaker 3: you do what you do. But we're trying to get
- 6:08Speaker 3: him in the studio or get him on stage.
- 6:09Speaker 2: One time. I think it'd be awes.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Listen, you pulled Dad on stage one time? That place
- 6:13Speaker 1: goes crazy.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I know.
- 6:14Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. We actually did it.
- 6:16Speaker 3: We did a hometown show and cross plain Sennescy is
- 6:19Speaker 3: where I'm from and where he's from, where my whole
- 6:22Speaker 3: family's from. We did a hometown show and we actually
- 6:24Speaker 3: pulled him up on stage.
- 6:25Speaker 2: He never he didn't play mandolin, did you. I don't
- 6:27Speaker 2: know why.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I mean, he's crazy good, but we didn't play mandolin.
- 6:30Speaker 3: We just we played a few songs together that were
- 6:32Speaker 3: some of our nearest and dearest sour hearts that we
- 6:35Speaker 3: played when I was a young kid.
- 6:36Speaker 2: So that was pretty that.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Listen the Maddox Monday numbers, I'm sure are big already. Yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 1: if you promote Dad coming through to play on Maddix Monday,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you might pull YouTube servers off.
- 6:46Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, Bro, You're actually right, dude, that
- 6:49Speaker 3: I feel like if we pulled in Dano to the
- 6:51Speaker 3: to the Maddix Mondays, I feel like that that'd go crazy.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So we should do that's the idea.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Absolutely. We Uh, what made you want to make music?
- 7:01Speaker 1: As you listen to other Obviously you said you know it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Being in the family is obviously in influence, But what
- 7:07Speaker 1: are some artists today that you're like, yeah, I love
- 7:10Speaker 1: them and I love how they do it.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I also say this a lot. My
- 7:13Speaker 3: sister she is She's twelve years older than me, right,
- 7:16Speaker 3: and she's actually one of the biggest influences for me
- 7:18Speaker 3: because when I was a young kid, I would be
- 7:20Speaker 3: in her car and she would play like one direction
- 7:22Speaker 3: in Bieber and like, you know, like everybody like the
- 7:26Speaker 3: the like Aldin and just I mean everyone, and I
- 7:29Speaker 3: would just get influences from that when I started making music.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Right now, I'd probably say two of my biggest influences
- 7:35Speaker 3: are probably like probably Morgan and Bieber. Morgan Bieber, I
- 7:38Speaker 3: get that a lot. Like that's actually one like a
- 7:40Speaker 3: nickname that people call me is like like that type
- 7:42Speaker 3: of thing. It's like a young Morgan Bieber and it's
- 7:44Speaker 3: it's crazy that I would get, you know, even compared
- 7:47Speaker 3: to those guys absolutely legends. But yeah, those are probably
- 7:50Speaker 3: like two of my biggest influences when it comes to
- 7:52Speaker 3: my music and just on stage and that kind of thing.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Have you met either of them yet?
- 7:55Speaker 2: No? I have not.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I really want to, I really I really want to.
- 7:59Speaker 3: They seem like cool guys and I think it'd be sick.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I have met another one of my influences names Whyte Flores,
- 8:04Speaker 3: a really good guy.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Actually played on stage with him.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Texas country guy.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, big Texas country guys from Oklahoma. He's got
- 8:11Speaker 3: that like kind of like dirt road like that type
- 8:13Speaker 3: of that type of sound.
- 8:14Speaker 2: He's really cool.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Uh. Played on stage with him during CMA Fest, which
- 8:18Speaker 3: was actually really cool and I got to meet him
- 8:20Speaker 3: and just talk talk guitars and stuff that type of.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So, uh, making music and putting it out is one thing,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but creating your own music is a whole different beast.
- 8:30Speaker 1: At what point you were like, hey, this is dope,
- 8:31Speaker 1: but like I'm tired of doing other I wanted to
- 8:34Speaker 1: do my songs. Yeah, at what point did that Did
- 8:37Speaker 1: that turn into that?
- 8:38Speaker 2: All? Right?
- 8:38Speaker 3: So? I mean yeah, Like throughout, like the very beginning
- 8:41Speaker 3: of like my TikTok career and all that kind of stuff,
- 8:43Speaker 3: I was doing primarily covers and that kind of stuff.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I was just covering other artists and covering other songs
- 8:48Speaker 3: that I thought were legit. And then I got picked
- 8:50Speaker 3: up by these two wonderful managers, Nick Barr and Eddie Franzoni,
- 8:53Speaker 3: and they got me down here in Nashville for the
- 8:55Speaker 3: first time. I grew up in Nashville, but then when
- 8:58Speaker 3: I was about seven, I moved to Birmingham and that's
- 9:01Speaker 3: and I just moved back in like September. But yeah,
- 9:04Speaker 3: they got me down here from my first ever studio session,
- 9:06Speaker 3: and I got to I got to see what it's
- 9:08Speaker 3: like to actually write a song and do that kind
- 9:10Speaker 3: of stuff. See what how like the process of it
- 9:12Speaker 3: with these professional writers, and it's it's pretty it's pretty legit.
- 9:15Speaker 3: And once I heard my song for the first time,
- 9:16Speaker 3: I was like, man, that's what I want to do,
- 9:18Speaker 3: you know, kind of like you said, I would rather
- 9:20Speaker 3: play my songs.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You know, what was the first song you recorded of yours?
- 9:24Speaker 3: Oh, dude, that's a that's a that's a tough question.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I'd say, I think it's actually it's it was a song.
- 9:31Speaker 3: It had Tennessee in the title. It was like you,
- 9:35Speaker 3: me and Tennessee. May have been the word I can't
- 9:37Speaker 3: I think, I don't. I can't remember, but that was
- 9:38Speaker 3: may have been the first one. I can't remember, but
- 9:42Speaker 3: it was.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It was.
- 9:42Speaker 3: It was something very similar to that. It was a
- 9:44Speaker 3: pretty sick song. We thought it was a hit bro.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I thought it was awesome. Dude off for Rip, I
- 9:48Speaker 3: was like.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Man, this is sick.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'm I'm releasing it tomorrow. But that that idea got
- 9:53Speaker 3: shot down really fast.
- 9:55Speaker 2: But nah, it was sick song. It was something like that,
- 9:57Speaker 2: probably like you me and Tennessee. I think it was
- 9:59Speaker 2: something like that.
- 10:00Speaker 1: What is the process like for you now that you're
- 10:04Speaker 1: starting to see I'd imagine you see music differently once
- 10:06Speaker 1: you're working with writers and you're in a real studio
- 10:09Speaker 1: versus just hit and record on TikTok, right, turn it
- 10:11Speaker 1: into a full career. What's something that goes into creating
- 10:15Speaker 1: music that you would have never guessed?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Really?
- 10:18Speaker 3: Just how many minds come together to get through one idea.
- 10:21Speaker 3: How long it actually takes to write a good song
- 10:25Speaker 3: is way longer than I thought. I thought, like with
- 10:27Speaker 3: these professional writers, you have to think they're humans, they're
- 10:30Speaker 3: not robots and just come up with.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Hits all the time.
- 10:32Speaker 3: But I mean, I'm playing with these I mean great guys,
- 10:34Speaker 3: and it's taken us like hours upon end, hours upon
- 10:37Speaker 3: end to come up with like a chorus, and it's
- 10:39Speaker 3: the craziest thing to me. But once you get it,
- 10:41Speaker 3: it's just like an an uncomparable feelings. It's awesome once
- 10:45Speaker 3: you get a good song and once you vibe with
- 10:47Speaker 3: it and record it for the first time. Hearing a
- 10:49Speaker 3: good song on your voice is like, it's like unmatched feeling.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's so cool. Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 1: What It's funny because talking to other artists throughout Nashville,
- 10:57Speaker 1: when you sit down for a rite or even just
- 10:59Speaker 1: to brainstorm, it's definitely like a no idea is a
- 11:02Speaker 1: bad idea, think yeah, but you still feel like I'm
- 11:05Speaker 1: not gonna say that I don't want to sound I.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Still feel that way sometimes.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I still feel like like every now and then, I'll
- 11:11Speaker 3: think of something and then I'm like, should I really
- 11:13Speaker 3: say this? Because this is kind of dumb the more
- 11:14Speaker 3: than I think about it, you know, But yeah, no
- 11:17Speaker 3: idea is about it. I mean, you're absolutely right, one
- 11:19Speaker 3: hundred percent right. You can throw out I mean anything
- 11:22Speaker 3: when you're in those writing rooms and sometimes they're like okay,
- 11:25Speaker 3: and sometimes you know it's it's great. But me, just
- 11:29Speaker 3: as someone who gets in there all the time, I'm
- 11:31Speaker 3: still on that level kind of like embarrassment.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I'm like, should I say this?
- 11:34Speaker 3: You know? But I know I have to get past
- 11:36Speaker 3: that sometime, but right now I'm still like questioning myself.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Well, so let me ask this then, what is the
- 11:42Speaker 1: idea you were hypist about that you shared and they
- 11:45Speaker 1: were like, what else you got?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Dude?
- 11:47Speaker 3: All right, exactly, dude. I've actually had one moment like that.
- 11:49Speaker 3: In particular. It was one of my first ever rights
- 11:52Speaker 3: and we were writing this song. I think it was
- 11:55Speaker 3: like called like I think it's called Grandpa's Boots.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It was.
- 11:58Speaker 2: It was really really good song. I love that song.
- 12:00Speaker 3: It's one of my favorites to date. And I'm throwing
- 12:02Speaker 3: out an idea that's just like really ultra specific to me,
- 12:08Speaker 3: Like I can't remember exactly what I said, but it
- 12:10Speaker 3: was like really really specific.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Those are not really relatable the other.
- 12:13Speaker 3: People that are, like, okay, so I may do it
- 12:16Speaker 3: broaden that a little bit. It was like it was
- 12:18Speaker 3: funny because I'm thrown out ideas like exact things that
- 12:22Speaker 3: happened to me only and I'm just and I was like, well,
- 12:25Speaker 3: I guess you're right, you know, I should probably make
- 12:27Speaker 3: it a little bit more relatable.
- 12:28Speaker 2: But it was cool.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Out of the songs you've been able to create already,
- 12:32Speaker 1: we're about to talk about a brand new song that
- 12:34Speaker 1: we're gonna hear on the radio today. Yes, what are
- 12:37Speaker 1: what are the songs that mean the most to you
- 12:39Speaker 1: early in your career that you're like, man, I'm so
- 12:41Speaker 1: proud of this. So I know that the pool is shallow,
- 12:44Speaker 1: so far right for what's available for fans to consume,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but out of those, you're like, man, this one is
- 12:49Speaker 1: like close to my heart.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I mean, like the one I just said Grandpa's boots,
- 12:52Speaker 3: just because it is so close to me. And I
- 12:55Speaker 3: know I was kind of making fun of myself for
- 12:56Speaker 3: doing like the specific thing, but I mean it's just
- 12:59Speaker 3: a very relatable song to me, and I feel like
- 13:02Speaker 3: it's only a song that I can sing because it's
- 13:05Speaker 3: I mean, it's just I mean it's I wore my
- 13:07Speaker 3: grandpa's boots to the studio that day, so that's I mean,
- 13:10Speaker 3: that's really why. But that one's one of the coolest ones,
- 13:12Speaker 3: one of the coolest rights I ever got to do.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I mean, all songs that I have out right now,
- 13:16Speaker 3: I'm super proud of just because, like at fourteen and
- 13:19Speaker 3: fifteen years old, a lot of people like they kind
- 13:21Speaker 3: of like diss you a little bit for like, yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 3: you're a kid that type of thing, and I feel
- 13:26Speaker 3: like once I put after I put out music and
- 13:28Speaker 3: showed people like that, I like to actually do this.
- 13:32Speaker 3: You know, I'm not just I'm not kind of like
- 13:34Speaker 3: playing around or anything like that. I feel like people
- 13:37Speaker 3: taking more seriously is really cool. And just seeing all
- 13:40Speaker 3: that kind of stuff go out and the fans loving it,
- 13:42Speaker 3: it's just it's I mean, it's the proudest moment ever.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Just seeing seeing those songs on TikTok and people making
- 13:47Speaker 3: dances and all that kind of stuff.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It just makes me. It makes me feel great.
- 13:51Speaker 1: It's awesome social media, especially when you get to a
- 13:53Speaker 1: spot where you I think you have. Last time I
- 13:56Speaker 1: checked one of the social media platforms, you're almost at
- 13:58Speaker 1: like a million. I think that might have been on Instagram.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, on Instagram I almost had a million.
- 14:02Speaker 3: On TikTok, I'm like three point something million, and then
- 14:05Speaker 3: on YouTube I'm almost at a million also, Yeah, in a.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Year, which is congratulations because that's so much because that
- 14:11Speaker 1: means number one, you're you're doing what you're supposed to
- 14:14Speaker 1: be doing with your life, and number two, you're grinding
- 14:16Speaker 1: because I'm no.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It's not easy.
- 14:19Speaker 3: My content managers on my butt all the time, always
- 14:22Speaker 3: on my tail man, and I'm always making these videos
- 14:24Speaker 3: twenty four to seven.
- 14:25Speaker 2: But I love it. I love it.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The social media in general is a two sided sword, right,
- 14:35Speaker 1: because it's like, oh, it's great and it's doing all
- 14:36Speaker 1: these things, but also it gives people access exactly that
- 14:40Speaker 1: to make a comment that can shake you, of course, right,
- 14:43Speaker 1: And that happens to people that have five followers, that
- 14:45Speaker 1: happens to people that have five hundred million followers exactly.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So how do you, especially as a young man, especially
- 14:50Speaker 1: being brand new to this, how do you react to
- 14:53Speaker 1: negative comments and not let them shake shake you?
- 14:57Speaker 3: I mean, I just pray about them. You know, I
- 14:59Speaker 3: grew up up in a Christian household. Me and my
- 15:01Speaker 3: mom and my dad were very you know, prominent on
- 15:04Speaker 3: that as a young child, and I just, I mean,
- 15:07Speaker 3: I feel I know that deep down really that they
- 15:10Speaker 3: probably really don't mean it, and you know, I just
- 15:12Speaker 3: I just pray for them and all that kind of stuff,
- 15:14Speaker 3: and just I don't I really try to not let
- 15:15Speaker 3: it affect me a whole lot because I know that,
- 15:18Speaker 3: you know, at the end of the day, it's just
- 15:20Speaker 3: like it really doesn't matter because you can have you know,
- 15:23Speaker 3: five hundred Maddox You're awesome comments, and then you have
- 15:26Speaker 3: one Maddix you stink comment, And it's just that's the
- 15:28Speaker 3: one that sticks with you and just it stinks that
- 15:31Speaker 3: that's the way it is, but it is. And I
- 15:33Speaker 3: just pray for him and all that kind of stuff
- 15:35Speaker 3: and hope they, you know, find find their right path
- 15:38Speaker 3: and all that kind of stuff and figure out that,
- 15:40Speaker 3: you know, if you're not going to say like the
- 15:41Speaker 3: Golden rule, you know, and in elementary school that they
- 15:44Speaker 3: have hung up on the bullets and board, if you're
- 15:46Speaker 3: not going to say anything nice, just don't say anything.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Keep it to yourself. Just keep on scrolling. Man.
- 15:50Speaker 3: But you know, if they do say it, I really
- 15:52Speaker 3: just I just pray for them and hopefully you know,
- 15:54Speaker 3: they get they get all good and you know, hopefully
- 15:57Speaker 3: take it down or something like that.
- 15:58Speaker 1: But that's the same person asking for a selfie when
- 16:01Speaker 1: they catch you at the grocery store. You can't tell
- 16:03Speaker 1: you that, right.
- 16:04Speaker 3: And yeah, and I know, and I'm never going to
- 16:06Speaker 3: turn those down, even if it's like a guy that
- 16:09Speaker 3: I know said it, right, I go to the grocery store,
- 16:11Speaker 3: I know, he commented on my video that I stink.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I'm just still gonna go what's up, man, you know
- 16:16Speaker 3: that kind of thing, because you know, that's just the
- 16:17Speaker 3: way I.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Was like, Yeah, it turns out I don't huh.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm actually a really good smelling guy.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I put on a decent amount of cologne. You know.
- 16:27Speaker 1: What is uh, what's something that you hold close to
- 16:29Speaker 1: your heart is a good memory so far because again,
- 16:32Speaker 1: we catch up with while you think about that, we
- 16:34Speaker 1: catch up with a lot of artists who don't get
- 16:36Speaker 1: to enjoy the journey because literally you have to think
- 16:40Speaker 1: ten steps ahead of where you are now. So it's
- 16:42Speaker 1: hard to be like in this moment. Matter of fact,
- 16:44Speaker 1: we just caught up with Landy Wilson a couple of
- 16:46Speaker 1: days ago, and she's like, I have learned to finally
- 16:51Speaker 1: like enjoy this and worry about that later and stop
- 16:54Speaker 1: worrying about that. It's like, just be here. So how
- 16:56Speaker 1: are you making sure with how quick this is all
- 16:58Speaker 1: exploded for you? Making sure that like you're enjoying.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Me really enjoying it.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean just one of the things that helps
- 17:06Speaker 3: me with that is just staying with staying around people
- 17:09Speaker 3: that I know were with me for the right reasons
- 17:12Speaker 3: and all that kind of stuff. Just staying close to
- 17:13Speaker 3: my family, staying close with like really close people to me,
- 17:16Speaker 3: and they always make sure I'm in the moment, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 3: because when I'm around like these other people are only
- 17:21Speaker 3: worried about, you know, the wrong things. They always want
- 17:24Speaker 3: me to keep keep thinking ahead and all that kind
- 17:26Speaker 3: of stuff. And I feel like when I'm around people
- 17:29Speaker 3: that really are with me for the right reasons, they
- 17:31Speaker 3: always keep me grounded and keep me in the moment.
- 17:33Speaker 3: And it's like badics, what you did was really cool,
- 17:35Speaker 3: like that type of thing. When I'm just I'm so
- 17:38Speaker 3: like crazy, like dialed into the next thing, you know,
- 17:41Speaker 3: I can't really think about it, kind of like, I mean,
- 17:43Speaker 3: I just played I sold out show in Brooklyn Bowl
- 17:47Speaker 3: at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, and it was I mean,
- 17:49Speaker 3: it was like a year ago. I'm playing at a
- 17:52Speaker 3: winery for like four people who are not even like,
- 17:55Speaker 3: you know, no clue who I am. And there's exactly
- 17:58Speaker 3: two of our parents, my grandparents. It's in the other
- 18:00Speaker 3: girl that's sitting in the back is talking about her wedding,
- 18:03Speaker 3: so you know, I mean they're planning their wedding. So
- 18:05Speaker 3: it's it's really you. Just I'm so very grateful that,
- 18:08Speaker 3: you know. I just I just want to I just
- 18:10Speaker 3: want to enjoy it as best as I can. Because like,
- 18:12Speaker 3: right after I got on stage, I was like, Okay,
- 18:14Speaker 3: what's next. So I got to make all these videos
- 18:15Speaker 3: and all that stuff, and they're like, Madix, you're good.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Bro.
- 18:17Speaker 3: It's like I was super super cool, and I was like, yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 3: I guess you're right, you know.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And let me say this about that Brooklyn Bull show
- 18:23Speaker 1: because we were lucky enough to be there. It was
- 18:24Speaker 1: a fun show. You did a great job that so much. Uh,
- 18:27Speaker 1: stop throwing stuff on stage. I saw people talking like
- 18:31Speaker 1: friendship bracelets. One of them dang there hits you in
- 18:33Speaker 1: the front, y'all.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Dude, It's it's crazy.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I love it, but they're they're I have very passionate fans,
- 18:40Speaker 3: and I I couldn't ask. I have the best fans
- 18:43Speaker 3: in the entire world. And I'm on, Like I remember
- 18:45Speaker 3: I was playing in Tuscaloos ad I sold out show
- 18:47Speaker 3: there and they just start chucking their phones and I'm like, Yo,
- 18:50Speaker 3: your mom's not gonna like that later. Your mom is
- 18:53Speaker 3: gonna be really mad at you if I step on
- 18:55Speaker 3: your phone, you know, and uh, they're like, I'm just
- 18:58Speaker 3: I really do appreciate it, and I'm like, man, I'll
- 19:00Speaker 3: try to make all these videos off on stage as
- 19:02Speaker 3: much as I can.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But like, please don't throw your phones. I don't want
- 19:04Speaker 2: your mom.
- 19:04Speaker 3: To get mad at me, you know that type of thing.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But no, I love it.
- 19:08Speaker 3: I'll pick up I'll pick up the wristbands and put
- 19:11Speaker 3: them all over my wrist anyway. I love it, even
- 19:13Speaker 3: if they hit me, you know. I just I'm so
- 19:15Speaker 3: grateful for my friends fans, And I try to say
- 19:17Speaker 3: this as much as I can. Like I said it earlier,
- 19:20Speaker 3: I really wouldn't be here talking to you if it
- 19:21Speaker 3: wasn't for them. So I really just try to take
- 19:24Speaker 3: in every moment I can with them.
- 19:25Speaker 2: They're awesome.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Some fans don't know the word boundary. I don't know
- 19:32Speaker 1: that you are. You are a human just like they are. Right,
- 19:36Speaker 1: what has been a fan encounter And you don't have
- 19:38Speaker 1: to say the city or who?
- 19:40Speaker 3: Dad's already laughing, nos.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So what's a fan encounter that you had to be like, hey,
- 19:46Speaker 1: whoa that it was either scary or like.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Just just like probably it was actually a mom.
- 19:52Speaker 3: It was a mom I can't remember exactly where it was.
- 19:55Speaker 3: And no Shade, no hate. I mean, it's completely fine.
- 19:58Speaker 3: But she asked me who I was voting for, and
- 20:01Speaker 3: I was just like, so, I am currently fourteen years old.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I cannot vote. I'm not sure you're aware of that.
- 20:08Speaker 2: But she asked me.
- 20:10Speaker 3: I was just like, Maddox batchin, you know, that's who
- 20:12Speaker 3: I'm voting for twenty thirty five.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I'll actually not even be old enough then, how old. Well,
- 20:17Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm voting for myself though me. You know,
- 20:20Speaker 2: I don't know. But she asked me that, and I
- 20:22Speaker 2: was just like.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Huh, I don't know how to answer that.
- 20:27Speaker 1: I don't know who will be running exactly.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I don't even know. I have no clue what's going
- 20:31Speaker 2: on in the world. I'm just worried about, you know,
- 20:33Speaker 2: girls and all that kind of stuff.
- 20:38Speaker 1: That's I did not think the story would come up
- 20:39Speaker 1: from a mom.
- 20:41Speaker 2: It was crazy. It was nuts. But no Shade, it's
- 20:44Speaker 2: completely fine. I don't care.
- 20:46Speaker 1: The song is out now talk about the It has
- 20:51Speaker 1: to be so frustrating because again we catch up with
- 20:53Speaker 1: so many artists. You create this song, it gets mixed, mastered,
- 20:56Speaker 1: all that you know behind the scenes stuff that fans
- 20:58Speaker 1: have no clue what's even going down.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Uh, and then you have to just sit. Yeah, and
- 21:03Speaker 1: not just not just this single, but like anytime, because
- 21:06Speaker 1: there's the record label processes, your management process, there's a
- 21:08Speaker 1: release process. Pick a date. Does that date get in
- 21:11Speaker 1: the way of anything else?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Like, it's no, it's a it's a long process. And
- 21:15Speaker 3: you record a song that you love and you just
- 21:17Speaker 3: want to release it immediately, but then you have to
- 21:19Speaker 3: slow down and think, like, oh, I guess they're right.
- 21:21Speaker 3: You know, you really got to market it and all
- 21:22Speaker 3: that kind of stuff. So it actually does is decent,
- 21:24Speaker 3: you know.
- 21:25Speaker 1: So there is a reason it's called I Don't Like
- 21:27Speaker 1: You Anymore. You played it at the Brooklyn Bull Show.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I heard you did it on a Maddox Was it Maddix?
- 21:33Speaker 1: What has been the hold up in getting this out?
- 21:35Speaker 3: M hm?
- 21:36Speaker 1: And getting because you wanted to put the video out
- 21:38Speaker 1: at the same time, right, Originally you had at the
- 21:40Speaker 1: end of it was at the end of this month.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Now you had to push it.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, So.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It's actually the one of the one of the main
- 21:48Speaker 3: reasons was actually the wildfires out in Los Angeles. A
- 21:52Speaker 3: big part of my a big portion of like my
- 21:54Speaker 3: my record label. I'm signing with Warner Records and We'rener
- 21:56Speaker 3: Records LA, and a big portion of all those guys
- 21:58Speaker 3: in my team and my manager and actually live out there.
- 22:01Speaker 3: So I was completely fine with postponing the release just
- 22:04Speaker 3: because I just wanted to make sure they were all safe.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I have a big, big, big portion of like my
- 22:09Speaker 3: team and all that kind of those guys out there,
- 22:11Speaker 3: so I just wanted to make sure they're safe, all
- 22:12Speaker 3: that kind of stuff. That's my number one priority, make
- 22:15Speaker 3: sure they're all good. Before I didn't want. I thought
- 22:17Speaker 3: it'd be kind of like almost kind of selfish to
- 22:20Speaker 3: try to release that song in the heap of them,
- 22:23Speaker 3: you know, packing, you know, evacuate from their homes. So
- 22:26Speaker 3: I had no problem, you know, postponing the release to
- 22:30Speaker 3: this month and earlier early this month is completely fine
- 22:33Speaker 3: with me.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So, yeah, did you get to finish the video? Oh?
- 22:36Speaker 3: No, Actually, I actually never went out there the school
- 22:39Speaker 3: that we were originally planning on shooting at, which was
- 22:42Speaker 3: where like some legendary movies like Team Wolf from like
- 22:45Speaker 3: the eighties, I think from the eighties, eight ers or
- 22:48Speaker 3: nineties whatever. But with that, I was filmed. It was
- 22:51Speaker 3: the film that that's going actually burnt down. So yeah,
- 22:54Speaker 3: it's really tragic, and I'm praying for all those guys
- 22:56Speaker 3: out there, praying for all the firefighters and all those guys.
- 22:59Speaker 3: I know they're doing the best. So uh yeah, and
- 23:01Speaker 3: yeah that school got burned down. We actually never ended
- 23:03Speaker 3: up going, but we're going. We were gonna go. I
- 23:06Speaker 3: think I think we're going to. We're leaving in the
- 23:08Speaker 3: mornings to go out there to film, so yeah, there
- 23:10Speaker 3: you go.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I gotta get it all done because it's both coming
- 23:12Speaker 1: out at the same time, right exactly, sir, Have you
- 23:15Speaker 1: had to focus too much on the music video stuff
- 23:17Speaker 1: or you just let like people do it for you.
- 23:19Speaker 3: No, I mean a little bit, because all right, this
- 23:22Speaker 3: time this is actually kind of funny. So this time
- 23:24Speaker 3: they're making me dance. I just want to say, I'm
- 23:26Speaker 3: not a dancer. I am very uncoordinated. I'm all right,
- 23:30Speaker 3: I'm coordinated because I play like sports and all that
- 23:32Speaker 3: kind of stuff, but like when it comes to dancing, bro,
- 23:34Speaker 3: I'm a new but like I have no clue what
- 23:35Speaker 3: I'm doing. None, none, And I'm with these choreographers and
- 23:38Speaker 3: they're like, okay, you know I'm doing this stuff and
- 23:41Speaker 3: they're like, this is kind of I'm just like, all right, bro,
- 23:44Speaker 3: I have no clue what I'm doing, but I'm pretty
- 23:45Speaker 3: I'm pretty excited to do the dancing thing.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I think it'll be cool.
- 23:48Speaker 3: We got a pretty good concept going for this music video,
- 23:51Speaker 3: so I think it's gonna be legit.
- 23:52Speaker 1: When you you you brought up the Morgan Bieber thing,
- 23:54Speaker 1: and it's funny because if somebody says something to me,
- 23:57Speaker 1: because a lot of your your early hype feels like
- 24:01Speaker 1: when Justin Bieber came out because he got on YouTube
- 24:04Speaker 1: grind it that way was discovered. You got on social media,
- 24:06Speaker 1: grinded discovered, the music was there, the following was there.
- 24:09Speaker 1: The only thing that was missing was like the record
- 24:11Speaker 1: label in the airplay, and like, now that's coming right.
- 24:16Speaker 1: How do you, through the creation process make sure like, no, this,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I gotta do this way? Maddox wants to I don't.
- 24:22Speaker 1: That's too much like Bieber, that's too much like Morgan,
- 24:25Speaker 1: that's too much. How do you how do you make
- 24:26Speaker 1: sure to like continue to do it your way?
- 24:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I actually like with the people around me.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I asked my dad a lot about this kind of
- 24:35Speaker 3: stuff is just because like I don't want to straight
- 24:38Speaker 3: up copy these guys.
- 24:39Speaker 2: There are absolutely legends Ben. I have so much respect
- 24:41Speaker 2: for him, but I really don't.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I want to do it my own way, kind of
- 24:43Speaker 3: like you're saying, and I just want to like I'll
- 24:45Speaker 3: take bits and pieces from both of these guys and
- 24:48Speaker 3: how they came up and all that kind of stuff,
- 24:49Speaker 3: like with more with uh with bieber On, like the
- 24:52Speaker 3: YouTube thing and just you know, grinding out the social
- 24:55Speaker 3: media thing and getting picked up. Yeah, of course I
- 24:58Speaker 3: wanted to follow that path because you know, I was
- 25:01Speaker 3: like one of my only I was the only option
- 25:02Speaker 3: because I was doing TikTok.
- 25:03Speaker 2: But you know, I didn't want to straight up copy.
- 25:06Speaker 3: And I have so much respect for him, like I
- 25:07Speaker 3: just said, but you know, they're absolute goats. But I
- 25:09Speaker 3: didn't want to copy, and I want to do my
- 25:11Speaker 3: own thing, kind of like with the music, and I
- 25:13Speaker 3: didn't want to do like straight pop music and I
- 25:15Speaker 3: didn't want to do like straight country music. You know.
- 25:18Speaker 3: I want to meet in the middle and that kind
- 25:20Speaker 3: of thing and just just take both the great parts
- 25:23Speaker 3: of both artists and kind of mix it in the
- 25:25Speaker 3: middle and create you know, maddis I guess and here
- 25:28Speaker 3: I am.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. I take bits and pieces from all kinds
- 25:30Speaker 2: of artists.
- 25:31Speaker 1: You know, tell us about this song I don't like
- 25:32Speaker 1: you anymore? And why this feels like yeah, obviously the
- 25:35Speaker 1: labels really behind this one.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Uh, there's a bigger deal with you releasing the song
- 25:40Speaker 1: and the video at the same time. So why is
- 25:42Speaker 1: why is this the right song that kind of feels
- 25:44Speaker 1: like a launching point for you?
- 25:45Speaker 3: Oh dude, this one, this one's absolutely jit. First, I
- 25:48Speaker 3: just want to thank the writers. You know, I had,
- 25:50Speaker 3: I mean I had some absolute go to write. I
- 25:52Speaker 3: had Ashley Gorley.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Uh, dude makes it hits.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Oh dude makes it so Yeah, I think like seventy
- 25:57Speaker 3: five plus number ones or something stupid.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Like like you could buy a village.
- 26:02Speaker 3: With exactly, bro Like all right, So it was actually Gorley,
- 26:08Speaker 3: Hunter Phelps, and David Garcia, I mean, just three absolute
- 26:11Speaker 3: goats in the Nashville scene. They're I mean absolutely great,
- 26:13Speaker 3: some of the coolest writing experience I've had, But I
- 26:16Speaker 3: mean it was absolutely sick. And this song, I mean,
- 26:19Speaker 3: I think it's I think it's awesome because like, as
- 26:21Speaker 3: a teenager and experiencing young glove. You always have that
- 26:24Speaker 3: point where you're just like, you know, I'm I'm I
- 26:26Speaker 3: want to take it a step forward and that kind
- 26:28Speaker 3: of stuff. And I've actually had that like exact experience. Uh,
- 26:32Speaker 3: I'm not with her anymore, but I dated this girl
- 26:34Speaker 3: for like, I think, like almost like a year and
- 26:36Speaker 3: some change a little bit like that, and you know,
- 26:38Speaker 3: it was to the point where like I really I
- 26:40Speaker 3: really liked her, and it was just like, I don't
- 26:42Speaker 3: like you anymore. I kind of I kind of love you, you know,
- 26:44Speaker 3: and it was It's kind of weird saying that at
- 26:46Speaker 3: such a young age, because people don't really like, they
- 26:48Speaker 3: don't really believe you. Yeah, what do you know about them?
- 26:51Speaker 3: I'm like, hey man, I mean, you've never been in
- 26:54Speaker 3: a relationship. I don't know what you're talking about, but
- 26:58Speaker 3: I'm I'm talking to I'm not I'm kidding.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I'm kidding. I'm just kidding.
- 27:02Speaker 3: But you know, it's just talking about in this song,
- 27:06Speaker 3: it's talking about that turning point of lacking the love,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and I feel like everyone goes through that at one point,
- 27:11Speaker 3: you know. So it's it's pretty cool. It's you know,
- 27:13Speaker 3: it's just it's a pretty cool song. So I'm really
- 27:15Speaker 3: excited for this one to come out. It's gonna be
- 27:17Speaker 3: a sick release and I'm just I'm geeked man, it's
- 27:20Speaker 3: gonna be awesome.
- 27:21Speaker 1: So you've had to sit on this finally in fans' hands.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna have you intro the song once we get
- 27:26Speaker 1: towards the end of the interview here. But what's next, Like,
- 27:31Speaker 1: do you have another song follow up? Is this going
- 27:33Speaker 1: to be part of an EP? Are you working on
- 27:34Speaker 1: an album?
- 27:35Speaker 2: No?
- 27:35Speaker 3: I think I think this year, I think we're gonna
- 27:38Speaker 3: work on probably like a little project, like a little
- 27:41Speaker 3: EP towards like April May that toward sign period around
- 27:45Speaker 3: like where stage Coach is gonna be pretty legit. I
- 27:47Speaker 3: don't know exact or anything like that, or exact song
- 27:50Speaker 3: it's gonna be.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I just know it's gonna be awesome.
- 27:52Speaker 3: It's gonna be a great time, and I'm just I'm
- 27:54Speaker 3: really excited for the fans to have more to listen
- 27:56Speaker 3: to because it's easier when they know the words at
- 27:58Speaker 3: the concerts because my voice ever goes out, I always have.
- 28:01Speaker 2: To go, hey, you got it? You know that type
- 28:03Speaker 2: of thing. So I'm really excited for more of those opportunities.
- 28:08Speaker 1: What do you got coming up this year? Stage Coach
- 28:09Speaker 1: is massive, that's gonna be a lot of it.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be sick, dude. I'm pretty excited for that.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Outside of that, do you have tour plans? Do you have?
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I'm actually going out on tour this year.
- 28:19Speaker 3: It's going to be all through like the month of April,
- 28:22Speaker 3: like starting in March, all through April. We're starting in
- 28:25Speaker 3: you know, this side of the country and going all
- 28:26Speaker 3: the way to California.
- 28:28Speaker 2: So it's it's it's going to be a pretty cool tour.
- 28:31Speaker 3: I think it's as of yesterday, it's ninety eight percent
- 28:34Speaker 3: sold out, and yeah, I'm pretty excited for it. I mean,
- 28:37Speaker 3: all venues were getting bigger rooms in New York and
- 28:40Speaker 3: it's just I'm really excited. That's what I'm saying. Man, Like,
- 28:44Speaker 3: these fans are just a whole another level, and I
- 28:46Speaker 3: just I give it all back to them.
- 28:47Speaker 2: It's gonna be so cool. I'm really excited for this tour.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm going to ask something and I'm going to ask
- 28:52Speaker 1: it carefully. Yeah, to where neither of us are going
- 28:56Speaker 1: to get in trouble.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 28:58Speaker 1: There is a very ten to young lady in country music,
- 29:02Speaker 1: and there is a rumor that, as we know she's
- 29:06Speaker 1: got more new music coming, that she will support you
- 29:08Speaker 1: with a tour this year. Is there a chance that
- 29:12Speaker 1: you're with said artist if she had dates to play
- 29:15Speaker 1: at some point?
- 29:16Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I don't know what artists you're actually talking about. Per Chance, Okay,
- 29:23Speaker 3: I don't know. Per chance. Now that we're on the
- 29:25Speaker 3: same page, that's awesome. I'm not neither of us were
- 29:28Speaker 3: gonna get in trouble because we didn't say anything. We
- 29:30Speaker 3: didn't say too much.
- 29:31Speaker 2: We're all good. We didn't say anything. But there's a
- 29:33Speaker 2: perchance chance that I could be.
- 29:37Speaker 1: You know, if you had to flip a coin, it
- 29:39Speaker 1: would land on one side.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think both coins have the exact
- 29:42Speaker 3: same side. I haven't actually have one of those fake
- 29:45Speaker 3: coins that are both heads. You know, you know what
- 29:48Speaker 3: I'm saying. But no, I mean maybe who knows, so
- 29:52Speaker 3: you have to see I don't know.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Well, that's that part of this conversation will hit closer
- 29:59Speaker 1: to that announcement, and I'll just unofficially say congrats, because
- 30:03Speaker 1: that's I'm sure you can feel in your heart. How
- 30:05Speaker 1: massive that is?
- 30:06Speaker 2: Oh, dude, I'm excited for that.
- 30:08Speaker 3: That's gonna be awesome, dude, because, like I mean, my
- 30:11Speaker 3: sister worked at one of the places that we're gonna
- 30:14Speaker 3: play like last year, and now that I get to
- 30:16Speaker 3: play there, it's gonna be cool.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I think I work at that place.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you might work at that place sometimes. I don't
- 30:21Speaker 3: know who knows. But it's pretty good, pretty cool, pretty
- 30:23Speaker 3: cool venue.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah, marathon musical. Yeah, all right, I'm gonna have you
- 30:29Speaker 1: intro the song, so this will be like an isolated
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'll open it and then you just say intro the song,
