Speaker 1: it right with God. And the worst deception is self deception.

Speaker 1: I cannot trust somebody who is a deception and they

Speaker 1: go to church, they sit there and they take liberties

Speaker 1: that they shouldn't take. The Grace of God is not

Speaker 1: used to excuse sin. The grace of God is not

Speaker 1: there to cover sin. The Bible tells us the grace

Speaker 1: of God is to teach us to deny ungodlyness and

Speaker 1: worldly lusts. The grace of God is there so we

Speaker 1: don't sin. Amen. And so the sin we're gonna look

Speaker 1: Many will say to me in that day, Lord Lord,

Speaker 1: today we're talking about it. We're gonna talk about greed,

Speaker 1: also known in Scripture as coveteousness. It's also known as coviciousness,

Speaker 1: and in scripture, and how this one hidden sin can

Speaker 1: deceive even those who think they're saying. Now here's a

Speaker 1: key verse. But for innication in all uncleanness or coveteousness,

Speaker 1: let it not even be named among you, as is

Speaker 1: fitting for saints Ephesians five to three. No one who's

Speaker 1: is coviteousness, that is, an idolater, has any inheritance in

Speaker 1: the Kingdom of Christ in God Ephesians five to five. Now,

Speaker 1: conveteousness is idolatry. The Bible equates greed with idolatry and

Speaker 1: Collossians three five. Now why because it puts money, possessions,

Speaker 1: or desires in place of God. Let me say that again.

Speaker 1: Because it puts money, it puts possessions or desires in

Speaker 1: the place of God. Jesus warned you cannot serve God

Speaker 1: in manmen wealth. That's in Matthew six, Verse twenty four. Greed,

Speaker 1: it will blind the soul. A greedy heart always wants more.

Speaker 1: to do anything that makes it hard for you to

Speaker 1: hear God. Amen. And Greek destroys compassion. It causes people

Speaker 1: to ignore the poor, neglect giving, and overlook injustices, all

Speaker 1: things God commends us to do. Wow. And when it's

Speaker 1: a commandment, it's not a suggestion, is a non negotiable.

Speaker 1: This is how God wants his people to live. So

Speaker 1: the rich man and Lazareth in Luke sixteen nineteen and

Speaker 1: thirty one, the rich man was judged not for his wealth,

Speaker 1: but for his greedy heart that ignored Lazarus. Wow. Now

Speaker 1: there's a false Righteousness can be fueled by greed. Many

Speaker 1: claim to serve God, but their ministry is fueled by money.

Speaker 1: Titus one eleven Judas, a scaryat walked with Jesus but

Speaker 1: sold him for silver. Say that's how wicked greed can look.

Speaker 1: He sold Jesus out for silver. Greed blocks Heaven's inheritance.

Speaker 1: Ephesians five to five says a coveteous person will not

Speaker 1: inherit the kingdom of God. This means we must repent

Speaker 1: and examine our motives. Do we love money more than

Speaker 1: we love Jesus? Now let's look at how to avoid greed.

Speaker 1: Practice generosity regularly Proverbs eleven twenty five. Set your affections

Speaker 1: on things above Colossians three two. Trust that God will

Speaker 1: supply all your needs Philippians four nineteen. And declare war

Speaker 1: on coveteousness by living simply, giving freely and serving faithfully.

Speaker 1: Let me say that again, declare war on coveteousness by

Speaker 1: living simply, giving freely and serving faithfully. Then now you know,

Speaker 1: the Bible tells us that it's always better to give

Speaker 1: them to receive, and our giving is like a protection

Speaker 1: against greed. It protects us against being coveteousness, being covetous right.

Speaker 1: And that's one of the practices and one of the

Speaker 1: things that the Bible encouraged us to do, to be

Speaker 1: regular givers, to consider the poor all these things so

Speaker 1: that to our hearts can be guarded to greed. Right.

Speaker 1: So that was just the accountability if you deal or

Speaker 1: struggle with greed. If any of that sounds familiar to you,

Speaker 1: and you need help. We just want someone to pray

Speaker 1: with you. So the Bible says that we confess our

Speaker 1: faults to one another so that we can pray for

Speaker 1: one another so that we can be healed. There's nothing

Speaker 1: wrong with accountability with someone that you can call on, someone,

Speaker 1: you can say, hey, I need help in this area

Speaker 1: exactly other That's what the body of Christ is supposed

Speaker 1: to be. You know. The pastor cannot do that for everybody.

Speaker 1: That's why leaders need to be risen up in the body, able,

Speaker 1: mature enough, and able to help and support others. Amen.

Speaker 1: All right, and let's get into Revelation chapter twelve so

Speaker 1: we can break this baby down. Let's go ahead and

Speaker 1: pray even mean. Father, we thank you for these topics.

Speaker 1: We thank you, Father God for the opportunity to dig

Speaker 1: into your word. We thank you, Father God for everyone

Speaker 1: God that you will use each and every episode. We

Speaker 1: ask Father God that people will be touched, that people
13:12
Speaker 1: will be healed, people will be set free. God. We

Speaker 1: ask go God on Lord, that people will be saved,

Speaker 1: that destinies will be changed. Father, and we asked this

Speaker 1: in Jesus's Mighty name. Amen and Amen. All right, so

Speaker 1: let's get into it. This is gonna be a great

Speaker 1: chapter here of Revelation, Chapter twelve. Now, let's see, we're

Speaker 1: gonna starting this one through seventeen. So let's get in

Speaker 1: verse one. The woman clothed with the sun versus one

Speaker 1: thing too. This woman represents the nation of Israel. She's

Speaker 1: clothed with the sun, standing on the moon beyound with

Speaker 1: the twelve stars. Now this is echoing Joseph's dream in

Speaker 1: Genesis thirty seven, verse nine through eleven. She's pregnant and

Speaker 1: crying out in birth pains as well. Now this is

Speaker 1: a symbol of Israel waiting to bring forth the Messiah.

Speaker 1: Now there is some symbolism in the Book of Revelation,

Speaker 1: but you got to understand what it means, because I

Speaker 1: believe that God always says what he means, and he

Speaker 1: always means what he says. Now, with that being said,

Speaker 1: I believe that this is a book that will break

Speaker 1: down and give you the interpretation other symbols. Right, it

Speaker 1: gives you the symbol, then it'll turn them right around

Speaker 1: because they don't want it to get this conscrewed right.

Speaker 1: They don't want people to twist the scriptures to their

Speaker 1: own destruction. So it'll give you the explanation right after.

Speaker 1: It says, in verse three through four, let's talk about

Speaker 1: the red dragon. Then we're gonna break him down a

Speaker 1: little more. Later in this episode, it says that Satan

Speaker 1: is described as a great red dragon through verses three

Speaker 1: and four, with seven heads. It's ten crowns. The dragon's

Speaker 1: tail sweeps a third of the stars, the symbolic of

Speaker 1: the angels that follow him in his rebellion. He stands

Speaker 1: ready to devour the child. Wow till you imagine Satan

Speaker 1: wants to the Christ like he really thinks he can

Speaker 1: defeat Christ. Now in verse five, the male child is

Speaker 1: Jesus himself, the one who will rule all nations with

Speaker 1: a rod of iron. With the songs. Chapter two, verse nine,

Speaker 1: he is caught up to God, to his throne and

Speaker 1: a reference to Christ's ascension. This is a reference to

Speaker 1: his ascension. While the dragon is standing there ready to

Speaker 1: devour Jesus. Christ is caught to the father. Satan doesn't

Speaker 1: have a chance, He doesn't have an opportunity to do

Speaker 1: what he wants to do. And now now verse seven

Speaker 1: through nine speaks of a war in heaven. Now this

Speaker 1: is Michael the Archangel, and man, I cannot wait to

Speaker 1: meet Michael. Michael is an angel of war and he's

Speaker 1: got some experience fighting against Satan. And so this is

Speaker 1: all out war in heaven. Verse seventy nine and this says,

Speaker 1: Michael the arch Angel leads God's army. Satan is his angels.

Speaker 1: They fight back. Man, it's insane to think he can

Speaker 1: fight God. But they are defeated and thrown down to earth. Wow.

Speaker 1: This reveals that the devil's access to accuse the brethren

Speaker 1: before God will finally be cut off. Amen, that's a

Speaker 1: hallelujah right there. He's finally gonna be now. Verse ten

Speaker 1: and eleven talks about the saint's victory. Now they overcome

Speaker 1: him by the blood of the Lamb and by the

Speaker 1: word of their testimony, not by their own works, but

Speaker 1: by Jesus his sacrifice in a life that speaks. And

Speaker 1: they love not their lives unto death. They were willing

Speaker 1: to give it all to Christ. Now, I don't want

Speaker 1: to skip over this too fast. I think this is

Speaker 1: a great indication of who we need to be as

Speaker 1: children of God. So what I'm gonna do it. I'm

Speaker 1: gonna do a part two and we're gonna break down

Speaker 1: the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.

Speaker 1: the dragon. Now verse twelve and seventeen, Satan knows his

Speaker 1: time is short. He pursues a woman, and we know

Speaker 1: that the woman represents Israel, but she is giving wings

Speaker 1: to escape into the wilderness. Hallelujah. See, Israel will always

Speaker 1: be God's chosen people, God's chosen nation, and we shouldn't

Speaker 1: have feeled any type of way about that because God

Speaker 1: chose him to redeem us the whole entire world. They're

Speaker 1: kind of like the first born right of the human family.

Speaker 1: They are our elder brothers, and so God will preserve

Speaker 1: and protect the nation. There's a doctor and that used

Speaker 1: to be popular a long time ago. I don't know

Speaker 1: if it still is, but they feel that the Church

Speaker 1: replaced Israel, and yeah, to a point, the vineyard was

Speaker 1: taken from Israel and given to the gentiles. But them

Speaker 1: as a nation that God loves and God has chosen,

Speaker 1: that has never changed. And so We even see this

Speaker 1: here in the Revelation, right before everything is wrapped up,

Speaker 1: that he gives them wings so they can escape the

Speaker 1: wrath of the dragon, that they are divinely protected. Amen.

Speaker 1: And it says then he goes to make war with

Speaker 1: the remnant. Now the remnant, as we said before in

Speaker 1: other episodes, that God always has a remnant. As much

Speaker 1: as Sick wants to destroy, deceive, as much as it

Speaker 1: looks like he's winning, as much as he looks like

Speaker 1: he's corrupting this generation, and there's still a remnant. There's

Speaker 1: still his faithful saints a man. And we need to

Speaker 1: will not bow the kneed. Amen. And Satan is aware

Speaker 1: of that as well. So even in this time, he's

Speaker 1: Satan doesn't care about religious people. He doesn't care if

Speaker 1: good deeds and good works. The only thing that he

Speaker 1: doesn't want you to do is keep God's word. If

Speaker 1: you keep God's word. Then you become a target of

Speaker 1: the enemy. I apologize for every person who has ever

Speaker 1: talked to you and said, hey, if you receive Christ,
