- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Is a founding member of the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Hey man, what's up?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:40Speaker 1: What up?
- 0:41Speaker 3: Welcome to episode three twenty talk about pulling the brakes
- 0:45Speaker 3: three twenty one.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yeah, hotel hell baby?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah sorry that was my basic training three twenty
- 0:51Speaker 2: first hotel.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Hell Wait this episode three two one?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Whoa?
- 0:56Speaker 3: Yeah left off.
- 0:59Speaker 4: There were uh a rocket or on the moon not
- 1:03Speaker 4: too long ago. They came back from that, like what
- 1:05Speaker 4: a week ago?
- 1:06Speaker 2: Yeah? I heard we exchanged some humans for some aliens. Finally,
- 1:10Speaker 2: finally we're gonna get some intelligent life on I know, man,
- 1:16Speaker 2: we fucking need it, man, like seriously.
- 1:19Speaker 5: As a holy man.
- 1:23Speaker 1: And is it really cheese on the other side, I.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Don't think so, Okay, I think it's just rock.
- 1:31Speaker 5: I wish Oh my god, yeah, dark.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Jack.
- 1:37Speaker 4: How fucked up would it be if like the Aliens
- 1:39Speaker 4: had like a thing just like all set up. There's
- 1:42Speaker 4: like a dedication to like led Zepplin or what the fuck? Like,
- 1:49Speaker 4: oh ship, that's what they were doing. The whole Iron
- 1:51Speaker 4: Maiden rules rules spelled r U l Z.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I fell it for real, just like for reels.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Anyway, Hi, everybody, if you can't tell already. This is
- 2:03Speaker 3: going to be a chill show. I desperately needed. I
- 2:06Speaker 3: don't know these two. I had a really rough week.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I'm sorry, man, I don't desperately need it, but it's
- 2:11Speaker 2: it's appreciated because I have plans.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Yeah, just to relax and chat and just chat about
- 2:18Speaker 3: what's going on?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Fuck, yeah, what's going on?
- 2:21Speaker 3: I'm going to get mine out of the way really
- 2:22Speaker 3: really quick. Yeah, there really isn't a lot. But yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 3: I had a rough week at work, and on top
- 2:28Speaker 3: of that, I am I have until the end of
- 2:30Speaker 3: this month to finish my COMPTA Network plus continuing Education certification,
- 2:39Speaker 3: to re certify, to renew my certification. If I fail,
- 2:43Speaker 3: I lose those certifications and I have to go through
- 2:46Speaker 3: the jam all over again. Yeah, but renewal is easier
- 2:49Speaker 3: than doing it all over again because test it's not
- 2:55Speaker 3: much easier because you have to go through about like
- 2:59Speaker 3: eight hours training courses and five twenty five question exams
- 3:05Speaker 3: which you have to get one hundred percent on to pass.
- 3:08Speaker 3: What the fuck? You can retake them as many times
- 3:10Speaker 3: as you want, but you only pass if you get
- 3:15Speaker 3: every single question right. What the fuck?
- 3:17Speaker 5: So I understand why each one?
- 3:20Speaker 3: Each one took me between an hour to an hour
- 3:22Speaker 3: and a half to finish. So I spent sixteen hours
- 3:25Speaker 3: over the past two weeks working on this just to
- 3:27Speaker 3: get one of my certifications renewed. I gotta do it
- 3:30Speaker 3: again to get the other certification renewed too.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Jesus, they needed to pay you even more. I know
- 3:35Speaker 1: you just got a bump.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Look now here's the thing.
- 3:38Speaker 5: Standards are fucking high, Jesus.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Fuck.
- 3:41Speaker 3: This is partially my fault. If I had gotten my
- 3:44Speaker 3: SISIVE plus certification, if I'd gotten a new certification, some
- 3:48Speaker 3: new certifications will automatically renew your old ones. Are you
- 3:51Speaker 3: If I had gotten the SIS of one, it would
- 3:54Speaker 3: have done the.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Tin Did they tell you that beforehand?
- 3:56Speaker 3: They did?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Oh? Why didn't they tell you? Again?
- 4:01Speaker 3: I was so busy at work, and I was still
- 4:03Speaker 3: expecting work to come through and pay for it and
- 4:06Speaker 3: just do it. And finally it came down to like
- 4:09Speaker 3: May first, and I was like, my certifications expire in June. Second,
- 4:14Speaker 3: I have a month is to get this figured out.
- 4:17Speaker 3: And I'm like, can I take the risk that I
- 4:19Speaker 3: will get the SSIVE plus exam passed within a month
- 4:23Speaker 3: or do I just do the research and I was like, fuck,
- 4:26Speaker 3: I'll do the research. How expensive could they be? One
- 4:29Speaker 3: hundred and seventy five dollars each? Is how expensive? So
- 4:32Speaker 3: it was three both and then I had to go through.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But I've been doing all this in my spare time,
- 4:37Speaker 3: so not only not only am I doing it when
- 4:40Speaker 3: I'm at work, but now I'm doing it when I'm
- 4:42Speaker 3: in my offtime.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Love it so much.
- 4:44Speaker 3: It's the most fun.
- 4:45Speaker 5: It really is.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Dude, Oh my god, you also want to do it
- 4:48Speaker 1: for free?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Fuck you?
- 4:56Speaker 5: I don't do it.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's like, fucking stop it. Sh don't.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Listen. Do not ask me to fix your fucking computer
- 5:06Speaker 3: unless you're amy something. It's a cash, ass or grass
- 5:11Speaker 3: one of the three, and I'll just give a grass
- 5:13Speaker 3: to these guys.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Man.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I will either give you a cash probably asked.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Probably It's so hard.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Not to get those confused as a cast or ash
- 5:22Speaker 3: at one point. Anyway, fuck me. So anyway, long story short,
- 5:32Speaker 3: I have not had a lot of free time. But
- 5:33Speaker 3: what free time I have had, I have been playing.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Even though you tried to warn me against it, I've
- 5:39Speaker 3: been playing Dragon Age Inquisition again. I actually don't hate it.
- 5:46Speaker 5: It's not terrible.
- 5:47Speaker 3: It's just there. My issue is largely with like it's
- 5:58Speaker 3: like it feels a lot like a single player MMO
- 6:01Speaker 3: because the areas are so big and vast, and there's
- 6:06Speaker 3: some things dotted here and there or trim, but once
- 6:10Speaker 3: you clear out the middle stuff, then there's these huge
- 6:13Speaker 3: gaps between everywhere you gotta go, and traveling takes so
- 6:17Speaker 3: fucking long time. Now, they tried to mitigate this by
- 6:19Speaker 3: adding like fast travel points. Okay, if you claim some
- 6:22Speaker 3: settlements or a new tent, you can put up a
- 6:25Speaker 3: new place that you can fast travel to, so you
- 6:27Speaker 3: can fast travel around the map. But still you wind
- 6:30Speaker 3: up running for like several minutes to get anywhere. Oh
- 6:35Speaker 3: and what's more, and this is this is the part
- 6:37Speaker 3: that I absolutely the fucking makes me laugh. They instituted
- 6:41Speaker 3: a mount system to try and speed things up. Okay,
- 6:44Speaker 3: but your horse moves only marginally faster than you do
- 6:49Speaker 3: while running, it might as well not be there.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm dead serious. Even at a gallop at full speed,
- 6:55Speaker 3: you can run almost as fast on foot. It is,
- 7:00Speaker 3: it is a fucking waste of time. The amount of
- 7:02Speaker 3: time you spend calling your horse and then mounting them
- 7:05Speaker 3: kind of negates any from using a horse to travel. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 3: it's having said that, I fucking love the story. I've
- 7:16Speaker 3: been deep into it. One of the things I love
- 7:18Speaker 3: about this game as opposed to like things like Mass Effect.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Mass Effect allows you to please everybody. These games really don't.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Things you do are gonna please some members of your
- 7:29Speaker 3: party and piss off the others.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It should.
- 7:33Speaker 3: It's almost impossible to get everybody's approval of you up
- 7:36Speaker 3: to maximum, So I'm not even trying. I'm focusing on
- 7:40Speaker 3: the people I have in my party, and that's it smart.
- 7:43Speaker 3: You know, the people whose views online mostly with my
- 7:45Speaker 3: own anyway. You know they br my friends, you know. So.
- 7:51Speaker 3: But I do like a lot of the twists and turns.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I love the some of the mechanics they introduced. Once
- 7:57Speaker 3: you become like once you get like halfway through the game,
- 8:00Speaker 3: they quote unquote make you the leader. They call you
- 8:04Speaker 3: the inquisitor, and you get to one of my favorite
- 8:08Speaker 3: things is you get to sit in judgment of people
- 8:11Speaker 3: who you capture, really inside their fate. And some people
- 8:16Speaker 3: I have straight up executed because I'm like, you are
- 8:18Speaker 3: a bastard. What you did was so fucking evil. I
- 8:20Speaker 3: cannot let you live and then other people were like,
- 8:23Speaker 3: I'm like you, you did it wrong, and and I
- 8:29Speaker 3: don't like you, but you're fucking useful.
- 8:34Speaker 1: That's the word. The usefulness keeps you alive.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Yeah, usefulness keeps you alive.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I mean it really does. Is like real life.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Uh you know. But also I've been, you know, trying
- 8:44Speaker 3: to keep certain members of my crew happy, so you know,
- 8:47Speaker 3: trying to do what they wouldn't want me to do anyway. Yeah. Absolutely. Uh.
- 8:55Speaker 3: The the other thing that I don't like is is
- 8:58Speaker 3: the the the war table. You can send your agents
- 9:01Speaker 3: out to do things in the background, and some of
- 9:05Speaker 3: them take like fifteen minutes of real time. And the
- 9:08Speaker 3: beautiful thing is the clock runs even when you're not
- 9:10Speaker 3: playing the game, so you can literally like pick some
- 9:14Speaker 3: missions that take like eight hours to complete and just
- 9:17Speaker 3: be like, Okay, you take care of that. You take
- 9:19Speaker 3: care of that, you take care of that, shut the
- 9:21Speaker 3: game down, go to sleep, and when you wake up,
- 9:23Speaker 3: they'll all be done and you just get right back
- 9:25Speaker 3: to the game. So there is some I do like
- 9:30Speaker 3: that factor, the feature of it, but the fact of
- 9:31Speaker 3: the matter is there's so much by the time you
- 9:36Speaker 3: When I was playing in the beginning half of the game,
- 9:38Speaker 3: I was able to pretty much line up those you
- 9:41Speaker 3: know things for them to do pretty well, such to
- 9:45Speaker 3: the point that when I got to the halfway point,
- 9:47Speaker 3: everything on the war table was done right about the
- 9:50Speaker 3: time I went to do the next big plot mission.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Oh okay, she had a plan perfectly.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah. But now, like I'm getting close to the next
- 9:58Speaker 3: big plot mission, there's still oh so much, and I'm like,
- 10:01Speaker 3: what am I supposed to do? Am I just supposed
- 10:03Speaker 3: to leave this shit undone? I guess so, But the
- 10:06Speaker 3: perfectionist part of me is like, I have to do
- 10:09Speaker 3: it all. I have to do it all.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I got to waste time.
- 10:11Speaker 3: If I don't, I'm leaving power and influence on the
- 10:15Speaker 3: table that could be used to, you know, strengthen my position.
- 10:18Speaker 3: And I haven't looked ahead. I have no idea how
- 10:21Speaker 3: this ends.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Oh nice.
- 10:24Speaker 3: So I don't know if I have enough power and influence.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I don't know if there's like a level I need
- 10:28Speaker 3: to beat to get the best ending or whatever, you know.
- 10:31Speaker 3: So I'm just kind of mosying my way through it.
- 10:34Speaker 3: But I am about I would guess two thirds to
- 10:37Speaker 3: seventy five percent done. No shit, But I put I
- 10:39Speaker 3: put in roughly forty four hours over the past.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Two weeks, so that's awesome, dude.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, So I'm gonna get it done. I'm gonna beat it,
- 10:50Speaker 3: and then I'm on vail Guard, which is the one
- 10:52Speaker 3: I'm really looking forward to, because.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I don't know anything about vail Guard, So you're on
- 10:56Speaker 4: your own.
- 10:57Speaker 3: It's air time, and that's that's what I'm all about.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, if you play the female Elf, I
- 11:03Speaker 3: think she voices it nice.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You should stream that.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Claudia Blacks and Claudia.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Blacks and she plays Morgan and she's a reoccurring character.
- 11:16Speaker 3: She plays a real interesting role in the first game.
- 11:20Speaker 3: She's like one of the best characters. Honestly. She's such
- 11:23Speaker 3: a smart ass. She has an unbelievably dry, sarcastic quip for.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Everything that's awesome, and.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Because it's Claudia Black, it's perfect. It's fucking perfect. So
- 11:41Speaker 3: she was one of my favorite parts of that game
- 11:43Speaker 3: for sure. I was just hilarious. Alistair was fun too.
- 11:47Speaker 3: He's played by Steve Valentine, who's another fantastic actor. He
- 11:50Speaker 3: was in Tesla Effect, the Text Murphy game, so yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 3: he played the fanatic. I can't remember name. But anyway,
- 12:02Speaker 3: Uh yeah, so a lot of cool characters, and Inquisition
- 12:07Speaker 3: feels a little bit like a homecoming because you eventually
- 12:10Speaker 3: see all of a lot of the characters who came
- 12:13Speaker 3: like the previous the previous two games.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Okay, that's cool, so.
- 12:16Speaker 3: They kind of they kind of did like an all
- 12:18Speaker 3: star tour almost. But I mean, you're making a game
- 12:22Speaker 3: about a giant rip in the sky, you know, so
- 12:25Speaker 3: you might as well make it world ending. Why not
- 12:28Speaker 3: bring everybody in?
- 12:29Speaker 4: You know?
- 12:31Speaker 3: So yeah, i'd say I'm enjoying it more than all
- 12:33Speaker 3: he's warning led me to think, which is good. But
- 12:35Speaker 3: it does have its downsides.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it was.
- 12:38Speaker 4: It's just those like it's like as vast as an ocean,
- 12:41Speaker 4: as deep as a puddle kind of situation where it's.
- 12:44Speaker 3: It's just too big.
- 12:46Speaker 4: They I think what happened was in the second one,
- 12:49Speaker 4: because of how small the maps were and congested they were.
- 12:53Speaker 4: They were just trying to do essentially the opposite, and
- 12:56Speaker 4: they went too much.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Yeah, they filled the small spaces with so much in
- 13:00Speaker 3: that game. You couldn't turn a corner without tripping over
- 13:03Speaker 3: another quest or another thing you could do like it Well, no,
- 13:11Speaker 3: I would actually say, to the game's credit, like I
- 13:13Speaker 3: actually enjoyed doing most of that stuff. Oh okay, like
- 13:16Speaker 3: it never it never felt it never felt like too
- 13:19Speaker 3: much to that game's credit. But Augie's right that the
- 13:24Speaker 3: maps were a lot smaller in that one than they
- 13:26Speaker 3: are in this one. So unfortunately in this case they
- 13:30Speaker 3: blew the maps up.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But you want big baps, will give you big baps.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I mean a horse that barely outruns him.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Luck with your marathon, motherfuckers, got a limp.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think the solution would have been more
- 13:46Speaker 3: things to do. There's honestly enough, like I said, I
- 13:49Speaker 3: put forty four hours in. There's enough stuff to do
- 13:51Speaker 3: in this game. But like I definitely think like an
- 13:56Speaker 3: actually fast horse would have been a good idea for
- 13:59Speaker 3: a start.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Like double the speed of the horse. Now, it's so
- 14:01Speaker 2: funny enough to do it.
- 14:02Speaker 3: You know what I haven't tried though, to be fair,
- 14:05Speaker 3: to be completely fair of the game is there are
- 14:06Speaker 3: other mounts, and I've collected a few, but I've never
- 14:09Speaker 3: actually tried swapping them out. So I wonder if there
- 14:12Speaker 3: actually is a faster horse you can get or or
- 14:15Speaker 3: or by I did unlock the Golden nug which is ridiculous.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Try that one.
- 14:20Speaker 5: I don't remember.
- 14:21Speaker 3: The nug is like a small bunny slash rabbit creature.
- 14:24Speaker 3: But if you pay some asshole in like the fancy
- 14:27Speaker 3: French city val Royo, if you pay him ten thousand gold,
- 14:31Speaker 3: you get like a golden nug statue. And they're like, well,
- 14:33Speaker 3: let's research this, and they're like, they found one, apparently,
- 14:36Speaker 3: a live one, and you can mount it and ride
- 14:39Speaker 3: it apparently. So I haven't checked that out.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yet, but I might as well fuck do it.
- 14:44Speaker 3: If I'm getting close to.
- 14:45Speaker 1: The end right now, we're gonna blame the game for
- 14:48Speaker 1: fucking right now.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Unless it's got a jet engine on his back. I
- 14:52Speaker 3: don't think it's possible. The game starts you off with
- 14:57Speaker 3: like a nag, like a horse that's you know, near
- 14:59Speaker 3: the end of his life or something just not just
- 15:02Speaker 3: not for he's still running, but that's about it.
- 15:07Speaker 1: He's on his last legs literally, like this thing's about
- 15:10Speaker 1: the go.
- 15:10Speaker 5: I don't know. If he stops, you man, I never
- 15:12Speaker 5: move again.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yea, I think he can start beating that dead horse.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Uh So let's see, and what else have been up to? Okay,
- 15:20Speaker 3: I've been spending a fair amount of time on YouTube.
- 15:23Speaker 1: YouTube.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a new channel that I've gotten quote unquote
- 15:27Speaker 3: addicted to, or at least I like having on in
- 15:29Speaker 3: the background. Yeah, you guys know how addicted to the
- 15:31Speaker 3: original PlayStation. I am, Oh my god, I love that
- 15:34Speaker 3: machine much so much. On Gate I am legitimately thinking
- 15:39Speaker 3: about getting because I because I have a real PlayStation,
- 15:42Speaker 3: but I can't mod it or I believe it can't
- 15:45Speaker 3: be modded yet. Oh the PS one, the small portable
- 15:49Speaker 3: one on the screen, Oh geez, oh god, so but
- 15:54Speaker 3: the original one can be modded. So I was genuinely
- 15:56Speaker 3: thinking about picking that up, Like I have, I have
- 15:59Speaker 3: some spare money that I was thinking about using to
- 16:01Speaker 3: pick one of those up, possibly for my birthday coming up.
- 16:05Speaker 3: But yeah, I genuinely don't. I love that machine so much.
- 16:10Speaker 3: The original PlayStation just felt like such a awesome, surreal
- 16:15Speaker 3: time and gaming when people actually tried strange, outlandish, weird
- 16:20Speaker 3: ship and so I was looking around and I stumbled
- 16:24Speaker 3: upon Sean Shanson. I don't think that's his last name,
- 16:30Speaker 3: but he is. He's an Irish YouTuber and he pretty
- 16:36Speaker 3: much exclusively covers the original PlayStation. And when I say covers,
- 16:40Speaker 3: I mean like tends to go in depth like his
- 16:45Speaker 3: his His video on Koudelka, I think is what drew
- 16:48Speaker 3: me in because I love that game. It's a survival
- 16:53Speaker 3: horror RPG with incredible cut scenes that are voiced but
- 17:00Speaker 3: looked like they were Mo Captain voiced simultaneously because the
- 17:04Speaker 3: cutscenes play out like a like a stage play almost,
- 17:07Speaker 3: and they're a couple of minutes long. Every time one
- 17:09Speaker 3: comes along, it's gonna rain.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I can spell it.
- 17:15Speaker 3: So anyway, I found his Whips is You two and
- 17:18Speaker 3: I started checking it out, and he he has a
- 17:22Speaker 3: series called Obscure and Forgotten PlayStation one Games, and I
- 17:26Speaker 3: watched the very first episode where he explained just how
- 17:31Speaker 3: many PlayStation games there are, and I was wondering why
- 17:34Speaker 3: to this point, even twenty five years later, I am
- 17:38Speaker 3: still finding new PlayStation games to try and check out
- 17:40Speaker 3: and stuff. How many games do you think have been
- 17:44Speaker 3: released for the PlayStation during its lifetime? The original Place,
- 17:47Speaker 3: the first one? Yeah, the first.
- 17:49Speaker 1: One, I'd say probably close to the five hundred.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That's a better guess. It's five thousand. Holy fuck yeah, yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 3: by many fucking thousand. And we're talking like all.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Over the world. Is that because it was easier to
- 18:07Speaker 1: produce because it was on a CD.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I assumed that was part of it, but also because
- 18:12Speaker 3: Sony was less restrictive than Nintendo was on who could
- 18:16Speaker 3: produce for their machine. I mean they insisted the game work,
- 18:20Speaker 3: you know.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 3: That that having been said, PlayStation got an extreme amount
- 18:28Speaker 3: of excellent titles, Like even though they were they weren't
- 18:32Speaker 3: quite throwing the barn doors open, they were still letting
- 18:35Speaker 3: in just about anybody. We didn't get a massive ton
- 18:38Speaker 3: of shovel wear, and even some budget titles that came
- 18:41Speaker 3: out were actually really good. So it's just like that
- 18:46Speaker 3: machine somehow got this massive amount of quality titles, some
- 18:50Speaker 3: of which we've never heard of because they were only
- 18:52Speaker 3: released in Powell really regions, or or they were Japan
- 18:57Speaker 3: only exclusives. And Sean covers these in two separate two
- 19:02Speaker 3: separate series, The Obscure Ones. The Obscure Series covers PlayStation
- 19:07Speaker 3: games I never fucking heard of.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Oh shit, I'm like I thought I.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Knew most, if not of all the fucking library. He
- 19:14Speaker 3: puts me into shame. I didn't know fucking shit. So,
- 19:17Speaker 3: I mean, I swear to God, every single episode there
- 19:20Speaker 3: is a new game that I add to my list
- 19:22Speaker 3: of Okay, gotta get this one. Okay, gotta get this one.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Jesus Christ. There is a mech action h slash dating
- 19:35Speaker 3: simulator game. It's called Love and Destiny, and the mech
- 19:41Speaker 3: action is supposedly really good at first, and then it
- 19:45Speaker 3: kind of it gets worse as the game goes on.
- 19:48Speaker 3: But you pick your mech. You pick your mech based
- 19:52Speaker 3: on which girl you want to date, and they become
- 19:55Speaker 3: your like co pilot, so to speak. And whenever it's
- 20:01Speaker 3: whenever they whenever they communicate with you in the middle
- 20:05Speaker 3: of a mission, their face appears kind of in wire
- 20:08Speaker 3: frame over the display, so you can still see what's
- 20:12Speaker 3: going on, but you still get to see their face.
- 20:14Speaker 3: No way, and it's wild.
- 20:16Speaker 1: You've gotta get that game.
- 20:17Speaker 3: The presentation on this game is insane, absolutely, and there's
- 20:23Speaker 3: more like there's there's so many more like I've just
- 20:27Speaker 3: scratched the surface. Honestly, as I learned more and more
- 20:32Speaker 3: about Pan only games that I can actually play, like
- 20:35Speaker 3: The Adventures of Little Ralph. I guarantee you've never heard
- 20:38Speaker 3: of that one.
- 20:39Speaker 1: No, there's no way.
- 20:41Speaker 3: This is supposedly one of the best games on the
- 20:44Speaker 3: original PlayStation bar none to the point where Sewn Shonson said,
- 20:48Speaker 3: this is a must play. Everyone must have this. This
- 20:51Speaker 3: is on this on this level. Yeah, and you've never
- 20:53Speaker 3: heard of no neither a I. It is a two
- 20:57Speaker 3: D side scrolling action I want to say it's an
- 21:00Speaker 3: action RPG, but I don't know how many RPG elements
- 21:03Speaker 3: there are. But the boss fights, Uh, it's you know,
- 21:08Speaker 3: you you run scroll, you do some light platforming, you
- 21:11Speaker 3: collect fruits and things for points haha. Fun. Then you
- 21:16Speaker 3: get to the boss fight. The boss fight is a
- 21:19Speaker 3: one on one fighting game like and the and the
- 21:22Speaker 3: fighting engine is good. No, ship like it's on it's
- 21:26Speaker 3: on like street Fighter two level. What Yeah? Yeah, Like
- 21:30Speaker 3: it's like genuinely very good.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Holy fuck.
- 21:34Speaker 3: So so like it's just this is what I love
- 21:37Speaker 3: about the PlayStation. They would just smash together anything. They're like,
- 21:42Speaker 3: let's make a two D action platformer and a fighting
- 21:45Speaker 3: game and just smush them together and make it smart.
- 21:48Speaker 3: And it fucking works. It's fun. It's fun as hell.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I'm like, I think there's a translated version out which
- 21:55Speaker 3: I have to get my hands on, but based on
- 21:57Speaker 3: what I saw, I'm like, you know, he describes it
- 21:59Speaker 3: it's control going very well, and you know, the translation
- 22:04Speaker 3: is done very well and is very funny. It's actually
- 22:07Speaker 3: very witty. So the translator did a great job. And
- 22:11Speaker 3: I had no idea this existed until like a week ago.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I think this is how many years ago this?
- 22:19Speaker 3: I don't know when it released. I want to say,
- 22:21Speaker 3: I want to say late in the cycle, nineteen ninety eight,
- 22:23Speaker 3: something like that, nineties, because they were originally developing it
- 22:27Speaker 3: for the Sharp X sixty eight thousand PC. It's so
- 22:32Speaker 3: much so that, in fact, even on the PlayStation version,
- 22:34Speaker 3: you can collect Little X sixty eight thousand machines and
- 22:37Speaker 3: get sixty eight thousand points for them.
- 22:40Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 22:41Speaker 3: It's so funny that they left that in there. We
- 22:44Speaker 3: were working on this for so long, we're gonna we're
- 22:46Speaker 3: gonna leave that in just as little nod to the
- 22:48Speaker 3: machine like I approve. And there's there's so much more.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I wish I could go over all of them, like
- 22:55Speaker 3: Slap Happy rhythm Busters. That's a fighting game mixed with
- 23:01Speaker 3: a rhythm game. So when you bust your super move,
- 23:04Speaker 3: you have to hit the rhythm points in time to
- 23:07Speaker 3: to get the super move off.
- 23:08Speaker 2: God no, I'd watch it. I couldn't play it. And
- 23:11Speaker 2: again it's a quick time event.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Again again it's legitimately very good, like extremely good, to
- 23:17Speaker 3: the point where he rated that one I must play too.
- 23:20Speaker 1: So how many of these have you ordered online so far?
- 23:23Speaker 1: None yet, I'm impressed.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I'm holding off, but I mean I I genuinely want
- 23:29Speaker 3: to start collecting again, even though I sold my Oh man,
- 23:37Speaker 3: I'm sure there is all right, we can borrow.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Yeah, borrowing, that's that's.
- 23:45Speaker 3: What we're calling it. No sailing the high seas for me.
- 23:48Speaker 1: God, no.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Line, that's all right.
- 23:53Speaker 3: So we're gonna take a quick break when we come back.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Somebody else is gonna tell us what's up right after
- 23:58Speaker 3: this bound mail bag mail bag getting them letters and
- 24:15Speaker 3: welcome to the mail bag.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Never not funny, it's so much like it's so damn good.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I gotta get you like another clean one of Daddy.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll tell you, I'll do it. I'll go even harder.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Anyway, Uh, what's in our mail bag this week? Stevie?
- 24:37Speaker 3: What do we got?
- 24:38Speaker 1: We actually got some comments on show three eighteen.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Gotta have that crunch crunch Yeah, heck yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Dude, I love crunchy. He's so much fun. And our first.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Comment comes from Bill m Stevie's pot Pies as.
- 24:54Speaker 1: One of the episode or one of the name of
- 24:57Speaker 1: my cooking show. I was like, that's so good.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I did not think of that because I actually love
- 25:03Speaker 2: pot pies, not just pot pies, but pot pies.
- 25:05Speaker 3: You could even do the theme song like Levan that
- 25:07Speaker 3: let die Stevie's pot Pies. Ah foun maw mawn.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Yeah, cook some food, cook some food, some food. Cook
- 25:24Speaker 3: it right up now.
- 25:29Speaker 5: Yes, I love it.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Oh, oh my god.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Our second comment is also from William Mannus, also Midnight
- 25:40Speaker 3: Smoke House. Sorry, that's fuck that wins. That wins Smokehouse.
- 25:49Speaker 3: It was right there.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Well didn't help how it was right none of us
- 25:54Speaker 2: because you're high Midnight.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Smokehouse where he gives various smoker recipes and then a
- 25:59Speaker 3: pot in fu dessert recipe. Oh shit, oh shit, Welcome
- 26:07Speaker 3: to the Smokehouse.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Various smokers.
- 26:13Speaker 3: I think he's got us right there.
- 26:15Speaker 1: God damn it, Bill, I need to buy a fucking smoker.
- 26:21Speaker 5: That's what I need.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I need a smoker and some more pot in order.
- 26:29Speaker 3: You don't have enough.
- 26:31Speaker 5: No, there's never enough.
- 26:34Speaker 1: All right, That is.
- 26:38Speaker 3: All right. Well, thank you Bill much appreciate it for
- 26:41Speaker 3: putting us all to shame of you. Brilliant you're brilliant
- 26:44Speaker 3: show names. Hopefully Stevene will take you up and one
- 26:47Speaker 3: of them. But for now, let's get back to the show.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Hey man, we're back. We're chilling. We've been all up
- 27:05Speaker 3: over what I was up to this past week, which
- 27:08Speaker 3: was not a lot, but stuff, what stuff and that stuff. Yeah, Stevie,
- 27:16Speaker 3: what's going on? Man? What's what's going up with you?
- 27:18Speaker 3: What are you even up to this week?
- 27:19Speaker 2: You know, I'm getting I'm getting ready for the end
- 27:21Speaker 2: of the school year, which is great because the weather's
- 27:24Speaker 2: you know, in theory, it's supposed to get better because
- 27:26Speaker 2: you know, we're in spring in theory, and it's been
- 27:30Speaker 2: nothing but what but every now and then, there's been
- 27:32Speaker 2: like a day here and there.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It's been hidd and miss like a mofo.
- 27:37Speaker 2: So I was like, oh my god, I want to
- 27:38Speaker 2: start to get my motorcycle ready. So I'm like, let's
- 27:41Speaker 2: get this thing going. Battery was on, great, everything looked great.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I took it for a ride once and I'm like,
- 27:46Speaker 2: all right, brought it back. I gotta get the oil
- 27:47Speaker 2: changed in it. So took a drive out to the store,
- 27:51Speaker 2: bought an oil pin. I bought a kit that came
- 27:54Speaker 2: with like the oil, the filter, like gloves, gloves in there,
- 27:58Speaker 2: a new freaking crush washer. I'll was like, hell, yeah,
- 28:01Speaker 2: let's do this. Shit came with everything. I'm like, all right,
- 28:04Speaker 2: get home. I'm like, let's do this shit. It's nice out.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I can't get this fucking oil pan underneath my bike
- 28:11Speaker 2: because my bike's super low.
- 28:12Speaker 1: You know what. That's fine, that's fine.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I won't worry about today. I went and got some
- 28:17Speaker 2: stuff done. I'll go in a couple more days and
- 28:19Speaker 2: that's nice. I'll go to the bike shop and I'll
- 28:21Speaker 2: buy a lift. Fuck it, I'm gonna get a nice
- 28:23Speaker 2: lift for the bike. Get it up here, great, go there.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I spent two hundred and thirty dollars on the fucking
- 28:30Speaker 2: lift for this bitch. I throw my truck in my car.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I'd take it home, go to put it on my bike.
- 28:36Speaker 2: The next nice day, which was like four days after
- 28:38Speaker 2: that first one.
- 28:40Speaker 3: That's been raining a lot.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I can't get this underneath my bike because the fucking
- 28:45Speaker 2: backfender on my bike is stupid as fuck Kawasaki.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, it is, man, it's so dumb.
- 28:54Speaker 2: They got like the regular backfender to the motorcycle, but
- 28:56Speaker 2: then they added this fucking abs plastic part to it
- 29:00Speaker 2: that holds these stupid, ugly ass turn signals your fucking
- 29:04Speaker 2: tail light.
- 29:04Speaker 1: And then there's a plate underneath it.
- 29:06Speaker 2: So every time I tried to get in the bar
- 29:07Speaker 2: underneath it, I kept hitting this fucking thing and.
- 29:09Speaker 1: It ended up bending my goddamn license plate. So I
- 29:12Speaker 1: was like, all right, well I'm taking this back.
- 29:14Speaker 2: So Max a nice day is like two days after that,
- 29:18Speaker 2: I think maybe three.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Go back to the bike shop. Return it. Sorry, it
- 29:22Speaker 1: doesn't worry. Explain what's going on. You're like, ah blah
- 29:24Speaker 1: blah blah. Cool. I'm frustrated. At this point, I haven't
- 29:27Speaker 1: been able to ride my bike. I get home, I
- 29:29Speaker 1: get on Amazon. I start looking up shit.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I'm like, I could buy a delete kit and rewire
- 29:36Speaker 2: the whole back end myself, just mechanically take it apart,
- 29:39Speaker 2: remove the whole back in, wire my own fucking lights
- 29:42Speaker 2: in the fucking bitch, and put it together. Oh my,
- 29:44Speaker 2: all right, So I started looking at like ninety bucks
- 29:46Speaker 2: for the kit. I'm like, okay, cool, I's not bad.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I'm like, let me go to Harbor Freight real quick,
- 29:50Speaker 2: just in case they might have a stand. No, but
- 29:53Speaker 2: they had a center line hydraulic lift. They had a
- 29:57Speaker 2: full steal one for like one hundred and forty bucks.
- 29:59Speaker 2: And I was with Pixie right and the guy and
- 30:02Speaker 2: I are talking. He's like, I don't know if you
- 30:04Speaker 2: want that one, you won't want the aluminum one, which
- 30:06Speaker 2: is one hundred dollars more than that. And I'm like,
- 30:08Speaker 2: why is that. He's like, well, it's a lot lighter.
- 30:09Speaker 2: So I lifted that one up and now I'm like, there,
- 30:11Speaker 2: you are right. It was heavy as fuck. So I
- 30:13Speaker 2: went with the aluminum one. Throw it in the back
- 30:15Speaker 2: of my truck trunk, get home, put it in the
- 30:18Speaker 2: garage because it's shitty out, can't do anything. Four more
- 30:21Speaker 2: days go by. No, just put this bitch underneath my
- 30:26Speaker 2: fucking bike. Lift this bitch up and get my oil chains.
- 30:28Speaker 2: It's gonna be great. Looking at the bike is sitting
- 30:31Speaker 2: in the garage looking at the box of this fucking lift,
- 30:34Speaker 2: and I'm like, you know what, the clearance doesn't look
- 30:37Speaker 2: like it's gonna get under there. And if it does,
- 30:38Speaker 2: it looks like it's gonna is it gonna crush my exhaust?
- 30:43Speaker 2: No Internet, no answer whatsoever from the fucking internet. So
- 30:48Speaker 2: I get on the phone with Kawasaki. Fifty three minutes later,
- 30:52Speaker 2: I speak with somebody.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Oh my god, for her to go talk to.
- 30:56Speaker 2: A mechanic who is a couple of feet away to say,
- 30:59Speaker 2: we highly recommend you never use those on our bike.
- 31:01Speaker 2: You will probably destroy your exhaust system. You must get
- 31:04Speaker 2: a swing bar.
- 31:04Speaker 1: That fits it. Faireness enough, ma'am, Thank you so much.
- 31:07Speaker 2: For the information. Could you recommend me a swing arm
- 31:10Speaker 2: for my bike? No, we cannot, fair enough, Thank you
- 31:17Speaker 2: so much. Have a wonderful day.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I hang up. I go back to it. I'm like,
- 31:20Speaker 1: what the fuck do I do?
- 31:21Speaker 2: I go back to another store, buy another oil pan
- 31:25Speaker 2: that looks a little shallower.
- 31:27Speaker 1: See if this fucker works. I give back. It's in
- 31:30Speaker 1: the garage. A couple of days later, a gang's had
- 31:32Speaker 1: to wait.
- 31:33Speaker 2: It's not horrible out, it's still shitty, but it's I
- 31:36Speaker 2: can't ride, but I at least get this going. Hit
- 31:39Speaker 2: the worm with the oil first, get the bike going,
- 31:42Speaker 2: have an idol for like a minute and a half,
- 31:43Speaker 2: no more than three. You can fuck it up. Let
- 31:45Speaker 2: it rest for five at your front. It off, cool,
- 31:48Speaker 2: Pop off the fucking oil thing. Yep, fits in there, perfect, Great,
- 31:51Speaker 2: put it underneath, st draining.
- 31:53Speaker 1: The oil right.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Yeah, we were moving, man, Start to open up the
- 31:56Speaker 2: rest of the kick, Get the rest of the oil out,
- 31:58Speaker 2: get the filter out. I'm all excited. Most of oil
- 32:02Speaker 2: is on of the fucking thing. I get under and
- 32:03Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, cool, gotta remove the fucking oil
- 32:05Speaker 2: filter right cause you got a chance oil filter. Why
- 32:09Speaker 2: can't get this fucking oil filter off? It's supposed to
- 32:11Speaker 2: be a hand tight, right. I can't get the fucking
- 32:14Speaker 2: oil filter off from under and it's underneath my bikes.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I'm like on the ground trying to get it off.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Nothing. I gotta go buy a fucking goddamn wrench for this, bitch.
- 32:23Speaker 2: No I bought one. I fuck, I forgot great, I
- 32:25Speaker 2: already had one, So I grabbed this wrench, go underneath
- 32:28Speaker 2: the bike. No, no joke, this is what happened. I
- 32:30Speaker 2: was about to go get one. I fucking clamp under
- 32:33Speaker 2: the fucking oil filter and I'm trying to fucking loosen
- 32:37Speaker 2: it will not and the clamp is just crushing.
- 32:40Speaker 1: The filter at this point, Oh my god.
- 32:42Speaker 2: And I don't want to pump shrinks on all the
- 32:44Speaker 2: oils is gonna go everywhere.
- 32:45Speaker 1: So I'm like freaking the fuck out. I'm like, fuck
- 32:47Speaker 1: this shit.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I know there's a ratcheting attachment you can use. So
- 32:51Speaker 2: I get in my car because I can't take the
- 32:52Speaker 2: bike there because the oil is all gone, I'll break
- 32:54Speaker 2: the engine.
- 32:54Speaker 1: So I drive an auto party store.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I grab a fucking ratcheting special attachment for these fucking filters,
- 32:59Speaker 2: and I brought the new one with me to make
- 33:00Speaker 2: sure a fit, right, because I'm not an idiot. Get home,
- 33:04Speaker 2: Pop the fucking thing on her cool it's nice, and
- 33:06Speaker 2: stug get the retch.
- 33:06Speaker 1: In her fucking slips every time. Can't get it in there.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I'm just like, fuck this shit. At this point, I'm
- 33:11Speaker 2: fucking mad. I'm like, one or two things are gonna happen.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna clamp on this bitch. I don't give a
- 33:16Speaker 2: fuck if it leaks. I have the pan underneath it, right,
- 33:18Speaker 2: it's gonna collect it anyway. It's I'm dirty on me,
- 33:21Speaker 2: and if it's stuck in that bitch, I'm gonna stab
- 33:23Speaker 2: it with a fucking screwdriver right through the center of
- 33:25Speaker 2: it and crank it like a fucking spinner. I didn't
- 33:28Speaker 2: carry that, but I was so fucking angry. So I'm
- 33:31Speaker 2: underneath it again. I'm like fuck yeah, and it starts moving.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I get happy. I'm like, yeah, fucking thing comes off.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Everything went great, kept the oil, and no problems after that,
- 33:43Speaker 2: except there hasn't been any goddamn weather nice enough for
- 33:45Speaker 2: me to fucking ride it since then. Now it's been
- 33:48Speaker 2: sitting in my fucking garage. Man Like I started it
- 33:50Speaker 2: to make you to oil move through and that was it.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It's ben shit. I was gonna go today, but I'm like,
- 33:56Speaker 1: you know what, the front yard needs to get mode,
- 33:58Speaker 1: so gotta do that first.
- 34:00Speaker 2: And then by I was done because I have a
- 34:01Speaker 2: battery operator pushboward.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I'm just like, I want to do shit.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I gotta do a show with like a half hour
- 34:07Speaker 2: I can't even go anywhere, so I'm just like.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, you could ride, go see your mom's,
- 34:14Speaker 3: but it's raining now.
- 34:15Speaker 2: And then we got with the storm that's happening right now,
- 34:18Speaker 2: so that's not happening if so, I'm taking the car.
- 34:20Speaker 1: But yeah, So that was crossed.
- 34:22Speaker 3: It is sunny and beautiful tomorrow. I'm hoping go.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Shit, I just want to go for a while like
- 34:28Speaker 2: that long, give me like an hour or two, just
- 34:31Speaker 2: go somewhere.
- 34:33Speaker 1: But other than that, not too much has been crazy.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I am meeting with my family after this, which is
- 34:39Speaker 2: gonna be nice because it's not just my immediate family
- 34:42Speaker 2: like my mama, pops, and shit, my little sister's going
- 34:44Speaker 2: to be there, her husband's going to be there, My
- 34:47Speaker 2: aunts and uncles are going to be that. I haven't
- 34:48Speaker 2: seen him forever, a couple other cousins. I'm like, holy shit,
- 34:51Speaker 2: some of my Canadian family are coming down.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I'm like, this is great. They were all there yesterday.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I guess i'll party. I'm like, all right, I'll be
- 34:59Speaker 1: there after the show. Is gonna be great. I'm excited.
- 35:01Speaker 2: My mom made me freaking sausage stew and my aunt
- 35:05Speaker 2: and uncle are making me chicken parmege for dinner today.
- 35:10Speaker 3: I'm so excited.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I'm just happy right now.
- 35:16Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, this is great, it sounds wonderful.
- 35:19Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 35:20Speaker 3: You deserve it after what you've been through.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Fucking angry man, I'm angry. Other cool thing, uh, what
- 35:30Speaker 2: else happened. Not much been playing on video games, which
- 35:33Speaker 2: has been nice. It's been really nice getting back into
- 35:36Speaker 2: boulders Gate a lot, playing a fuck ton of goddamn
- 35:44Speaker 2: Abiotic Factor with Aggy, and got to a point where
- 35:49Speaker 2: we thought we were at the end of the game,
- 35:51Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden auguments or you told
- 35:54Speaker 2: me your text, I think you told me, like there's
- 35:56Speaker 2: been an update.
- 35:57Speaker 4: Yeah, well they're adding stuff all the time, but we
- 36:01Speaker 4: we thought we were nearer the end. We are nearer
- 36:03Speaker 4: the end of the game. Like, there's just a lot.
- 36:06Speaker 4: It just seems that there's always just a lot, a lot.
- 36:09Speaker 2: So I've been like jumping on periodically with them, and
- 36:12Speaker 2: we've just been like fucking around, like fishing, fishing, cooking.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Cookie, growing plants.
- 36:20Speaker 4: They added now that you can now tame certain alien
- 36:22Speaker 4: creatures and have them as pets and farm animals and
- 36:25Speaker 4: ship It looked.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Like the things from fucking a Little Crap. They're like,
- 36:31Speaker 1: I don't want to say that, but the game Half Life.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, those little crab he thinks they look like
- 36:39Speaker 4: the head crabs, but they're more like, I don't know,
- 36:42Speaker 4: have you ever seen like a fucking the idea like
- 36:46Speaker 4: a monster loaf of bread, like a bro loaf of
- 36:49Speaker 4: bread with like a monster face on it.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, that's kind of seeing something fucked up along
- 36:55Speaker 3: those lines.
- 36:58Speaker 2: But now you can make them your pets, and you
- 37:00Speaker 2: can pick them up and pet them, and you can
- 37:01Speaker 2: feed them, and you can throw them at people.
- 37:03Speaker 1: On the park.
- 37:05Speaker 3: For some reason, you can pick them up and throw them.
- 37:09Speaker 1: They're like pokey, they're poke Jesus.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Then they'll attack the enemies and they don't really die.
- 37:18Speaker 2: They'll get down. You just go over and like rub
- 37:21Speaker 2: them and they come back whatever.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Smack them and they get back up, and if you
- 37:25Speaker 1: leave them, they'll just like respond near you again, just
- 37:27Speaker 1: like revive me. This is awesome. It's been fun. Yeah,
- 37:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I'm just having a good fu time with the end
- 37:37Speaker 2: of the school yere I made a bunch of gluten
- 37:40Speaker 2: free brownies for the first time a couple of days
- 37:43Speaker 2: ago for some of the staff and it went.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Off very well. I've never had gluten free brownies before,
- 37:48Speaker 1: and they were actually pretty good.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I have.
- 37:53Speaker 1: That's a lot of storm holy shit dot com.
- 37:57Speaker 3: That is that is a deep ass us a bit
- 38:01Speaker 3: of thunder dun. We might only have minutes left you're
- 38:09Speaker 3: listening to.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see it was was bust through this faster
- 38:14Speaker 2: than Oh my god, was gonna be a fast norm though.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it's that it's supposed to go through, which is
- 38:23Speaker 4: probably why it's doing that.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's a rolling Thunder song.
- 38:31Speaker 5: There's the video game.
- 38:32Speaker 4: I'm sure there's a mean and songs about Thunder Lightning
- 38:35Speaker 4: and the.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Game Slash Arcade game Rolling Thunder also in Genesis anyway.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Paint my nails?
- 38:44Speaker 3: You know you did? Yes, I noticed, but then again
- 38:48Speaker 3: I thought you had already painted them, but.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I always do.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's actously from biting them and actually been helping
- 38:53Speaker 2: because it being really thick.
- 38:54Speaker 1: It's been nice. Yeah, they're not like falling apart anymore breaking.
- 38:58Speaker 3: That's kind of an awesome way to solve that particular problem.
- 39:01Speaker 2: I don't bite them at all. Yeah, I don't paint
- 39:03Speaker 2: on my fucking teeth. It's nice, dude, that helps a lot,
- 39:06Speaker 2: Like a ton it's been at it's been amazing. Try
- 39:09Speaker 2: try it. You don't have to paint you clearcoat if
- 39:11Speaker 2: you wanted to. Just doing that's enough to be like
- 39:14Speaker 2: it tastese weird too.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I mean, I don't bite my nails.
- 39:18Speaker 4: You know, it's just put hot sauce on that for
- 39:20Speaker 4: your fingers, so every time you go to bite them.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Oh, I'm like, my fingers gone.
- 39:31Speaker 3: All right, I think that's good enough For another segment
- 39:35Speaker 3: of the show.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I'll let all you talk about his equipment issues. Yeah,
- 39:40Speaker 1: I'll leave that for him.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I don't know that I want to hear about him,
- 39:42Speaker 3: but all you're going, we're gonna have issues when we
- 39:46Speaker 3: come back. We're gonna talk about Augie's equipment when we
- 39:50Speaker 3: come back. Right after this, hey man, welcome back. It's
- 40:10Speaker 3: time for part three of our chill show.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Uh.
- 40:14Speaker 3: And the last person left to tell us anything about
- 40:16Speaker 3: their day and slash week, slash month, it's Aggie. What's
- 40:21Speaker 3: going on? Hen, what's with your equipment? Well, I should be.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Equipment is rustier and no.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Well no ship, you don't use it.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, apparently that's how it works. That's all
- 40:37Speaker 4: the water damage.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Jesus I hand hit us with water.
- 40:56Speaker 5: That's fucking funny.
- 40:58Speaker 3: But so.
- 41:00Speaker 4: If you you probably noticed on the way in today,
- 41:04Speaker 4: uh to the studio, that only half of my lawn
- 41:08Speaker 4: is cut. And we're talking about my actual law and
- 41:12Speaker 4: not my not my equipment.
- 41:14Speaker 2: At the end of the drive like.
- 41:17Speaker 5: That last year you came out of my driveway.
- 41:22Speaker 3: It was awkward and uncomfortable. I tried not to. I tried.
- 41:28Speaker 3: I tried not to stare. I really did, but I failed.
- 41:32Speaker 5: It only grows on the one side.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't make sense.
- 41:38Speaker 4: I keep giving it morning sun.
- 41:39Speaker 5: It's just like, I know, I don't know what to.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Do with it.
- 41:51Speaker 4: I'm incredible, like fucking Rick Moranison. Goddamn, no, fucking uh,
- 42:00Speaker 4: the fucking plant shop.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Please grow for me.
- 42:11Speaker 3: That's the.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Throwing that time.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like trying to figure out what I want,
- 42:24Speaker 4: which song it was that he was singing.
- 42:25Speaker 6: But anyways, so I haven't mowed the lawn, h the actual,
- 42:32Speaker 6: my actual in like a month, well more so because
- 42:36Speaker 6: you know falling all that ship.
- 42:38Speaker 4: Reason four was.
- 42:40Speaker 3: The weather's been awful.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Not just that, but apparently sometime over the winter, our
- 42:46Speaker 4: tractor popped a flat, so I had to replace the wheel.
- 42:52Speaker 4: Now I had gone after many weeks of waiting for
- 42:56Speaker 4: the weather to even.
- 42:57Speaker 5: Be worth going out to cut the lawn.
- 43:01Speaker 4: I had finally gone to go pick up replacement wheels, thinking, okay,
- 43:06Speaker 4: we'll go get these replacement wheels.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Good to go, I can.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Change this out, no problem.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Alf Steve helped me so that way, I don't, you know,
- 43:12Speaker 4: drop this shit on me accidentally, which what is such?
- 43:17Speaker 4: And and then I can get the lawn finally before
- 43:20Speaker 4: it fucking turns into a goddamn jungle.
- 43:24Speaker 5: And turns out.
- 43:27Speaker 4: The wheels on a Huskavarna need to be very specific
- 43:33Speaker 4: because you can't just get any replacement wheels, like I
- 43:37Speaker 4: got the right size and everything, but the hub in
- 43:41Speaker 4: the middle doesn't come out.
- 43:44Speaker 2: You needn't actual tire like with the whole thing like
- 43:48Speaker 2: you would have it in a mechanic where it puts
- 43:50Speaker 2: the thing down, goes around at the break, the seal
- 43:52Speaker 2: pops it off.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Didn't you put the new one on? You recrease it
- 43:55Speaker 1: and ship?
- 43:56Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 43:56Speaker 4: I like, I don't have that, so Mike, so I
- 43:58Speaker 4: went and talk about it, and so I'm like, okay,
- 44:03Speaker 4: So a couple of days go by, bad weather, can't
- 44:05Speaker 4: do anything, so no point going on replacing the ship.
- 44:08Speaker 4: But still need to go do it because now the
- 44:10Speaker 4: grass is knee high and we have been having tick
- 44:14Speaker 4: and flea issues cropping up everywhere apparently, and that's not great.
- 44:20Speaker 4: So we need to get that done soon. But then
- 44:23Speaker 4: Stevie went looking for the actual wheel, and he went
- 44:27Speaker 4: looking at how many places davy today?
- 44:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 44:30Speaker 2: I went to one, two, three, four, five places today?
- 44:35Speaker 4: The single one not Low's now home depot, not Runnings,
- 44:39Speaker 4: no tractor supply, not fucking harbor now outdoor store them.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Not even a fucking junk yard has a fucking wheel
- 44:47Speaker 4: for this goddamn tractor.
- 44:50Speaker 1: So we had to We have to internet it.
- 44:52Speaker 4: So well, we once again have to fucking feed into
- 44:55Speaker 4: the all powerful Amazon. So I contain my fucking Amazons
- 45:01Speaker 4: that's strolling in the backyard and it's like a fucking hell.
- 45:06Speaker 1: After our stresses that he can take care of his
- 45:07Speaker 1: personal Amazon.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's that.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Third.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I know I'm gonna need a machety for that.
- 45:16Speaker 3: Oh no.
- 45:17Speaker 4: But the the other thing is my work season started
- 45:23Speaker 4: back up, so obviously sucks because that means some of
- 45:27Speaker 4: the scheduling is a little now whatever.
- 45:29Speaker 5: But I love working at the place.
- 45:31Speaker 4: I'm never going to complain about that. Sadly, who knows
- 45:34Speaker 4: how long are you going to be? Prices of everything's
- 45:37Speaker 4: going up. I'm sure anyone who's listening who works a
- 45:40Speaker 4: fucking nine to five knows exactly what's going on, and
- 45:43Speaker 4: also gonna agree that it sucks and it's getting harder
- 45:46Speaker 4: and harder. It sucks for me because I liked working
- 45:51Speaker 4: at that place.
- 45:51Speaker 5: That's genuinely been.
- 45:53Speaker 4: The only job that I think I've held for longer
- 45:55Speaker 4: than a year. I think it's been three.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Or four now, Yeah, you've been there for a bit.
- 46:00Speaker 4: This is the longest job I've ever held. I've never
- 46:02Speaker 4: held a job anything other than working for my mother
- 46:05Speaker 4: for longer than a fucking year. So to see it
- 46:09Speaker 4: go kind of sucks. But it is what it is.
- 46:13Speaker 4: But there's always backups. There's you know, nothing to worry
- 46:16Speaker 4: about there, which is good.
- 46:18Speaker 5: Yeah, so that also blows too.
- 46:20Speaker 4: So with all that going on at the same time,
- 46:22Speaker 4: it's like, fuck, got to fix this shit. But at
- 46:25Speaker 4: the same time, well, I have the time and the
- 46:27Speaker 4: money to do it. But in less depressing news, I
- 46:33Speaker 4: have gotten no. I have finished, yes, fucking Cyberpum twenty
- 46:39Speaker 4: seventy seven, like finally finished with it, like done.
- 46:43Speaker 5: I didn't like.
- 46:43Speaker 4: I didn't like one hundred percent achievement it or anything
- 46:45Speaker 4: like that. I picked the ending, I really decided, I
- 46:49Speaker 4: because there was there's multiple endings.
- 46:51Speaker 5: I couldn't decide which.
- 46:52Speaker 4: One I wanted. I was aware of all of them,
- 46:54Speaker 4: but I didn't know which one I wanted. To be
- 46:55Speaker 4: satisfied with the game with, be done with. Finally chose one,
- 46:59Speaker 4: finished it? Done with the fucking game? Six hundred and
- 47:02Speaker 4: sixty five hours. Holy fuck, dude, Oh my god, it's
- 47:07Speaker 4: not the longest I've dedicated into a video game. I
- 47:10Speaker 4: have definitely dedicated much longer.
- 47:12Speaker 1: But you've beaten the other games?
- 47:15Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 47:17Speaker 3: Yeah, So how many times have you started over?
- 47:21Speaker 4: I don't want to say.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's not zero, so it's this isn't one.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Playthrough, right, but still I'm.
- 47:29Speaker 3: The first. This is the first time, maybe thirty character
- 47:33Speaker 3: the way to the.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Thirty plus times. But yeah, he finally did it?
- 47:37Speaker 3: Can I ask which ending you did?
- 47:39Speaker 4: Don't hear the reaper?
- 47:42Speaker 5: It is the secret and I don't know.
- 47:43Speaker 3: What my name? Okay, the secret ending the one where
- 47:45Speaker 3: you go in alone.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Do you tell to say you want to spoilers just
- 47:48Speaker 1: in case that game has.
- 47:49Speaker 5: Been out for like the games now for dude, for
- 47:51Speaker 5: like five Oh?
- 47:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:52Speaker 1: How long did I get you to beat it? Though? Yeah?
- 47:55Speaker 5: How long did it take you to five?
- 47:57Speaker 1: Here?
- 47:58Speaker 5: Six hundred and sixty five basic spoilers.
- 48:01Speaker 3: What you have to do to You have to get
- 48:03Speaker 3: Johnny's uh like, his affection, his affinity for you to
- 48:07Speaker 3: max as high as you possibly can. You have to
- 48:09Speaker 3: pick a couple of specific versational choices, and then you
- 48:15Speaker 3: need to go to the roof and just sit there
- 48:17Speaker 3: for five five minutes in silence, like you're you're supposed
- 48:21Speaker 3: to make a choice at this point, whether you want.
- 48:22Speaker 5: To go with them and I had all the choices.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Or even possibly kill yourself. You can choose at that point,
- 48:30Speaker 3: but if you sit and wait long enough, Johnny will
- 48:32Speaker 3: offer another choice. He's like, what if we do this
- 48:35Speaker 3: samurai style? We just go in on our own, don't
- 48:39Speaker 3: risk anybody, We do this ourselves. It is the hardest
- 48:44Speaker 3: ending to get it because fun the combat is insanely difficult.
- 48:49Speaker 3: You are literally on your own against entire like platoons
- 48:53Speaker 3: of corporo.
- 48:56Speaker 5: Combat.
- 48:57Speaker 3: The most satisfying final fight.
- 49:03Speaker 5: No no, no, you got experience and the other the.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Other possibilities were fun too, but they weren't like this.
- 49:09Speaker 3: They weren't like this one. This one was incredible and legitimately,
- 49:14Speaker 3: when you get through.
- 49:15Speaker 4: It with the bossible boss fight, the cap it off.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Absolutely you feel like an absolute badass.
- 49:21Speaker 5: Yeah you are a badass at that point.
- 49:23Speaker 3: If you could get through that, you you nothing can
- 49:26Speaker 3: stop you, like literally nothing.
- 49:28Speaker 1: It was so much fun it was.
- 49:31Speaker 5: So that's finally set the rest.
- 49:32Speaker 4: I might go back and get the other achievements, go
- 49:35Speaker 4: get the other endings to play through the DLC because
- 49:37Speaker 4: I want to experience through that.
- 49:38Speaker 5: I did it to an extent, but then.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Stopped because I started again as you do, as I do,
- 49:45Speaker 4: as we all do. So right now I'm just kind
- 49:47Speaker 4: of jumping through other games. I'm playing Abiotic with Stevie.
- 49:51Speaker 4: We're getting towards the end of that too, but they're
- 49:53Speaker 4: also actively adding ship to it. So yeah, the end
- 49:57Speaker 4: isn't the end in that one, so I'm not too worried.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I love. We finally got past the doors you saw
- 50:02Speaker 1: on the very first day. Yeah, we finally got to
- 50:05Speaker 1: those that were always like what.
- 50:06Speaker 5: The fucks behind those doors? We finally got behind those
- 50:08Speaker 5: doors the very first day.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Well finally opened it up. I'm like, God, damn it,
- 50:12Speaker 1: that's crazy.
- 50:13Speaker 4: But other than that, I've been jumping around to other
- 50:15Speaker 4: games trying to figure out, like what I'm interested in,
- 50:18Speaker 4: what I want to play. I jumped back into Satisfactory
- 50:20Speaker 4: for now because it's a good kind of like passive
- 50:22Speaker 4: in the background game while you're doing other shit or
- 50:25Speaker 4: just chilling because you don't have to do anything anything
- 50:30Speaker 4: really at all, and just let your machines do the
- 50:32Speaker 4: work as long as everything's set up properly. Everything's automated,
- 50:35Speaker 4: so you basically set everything up and then just kind
- 50:38Speaker 4: of afk or run around and do other shit, explore
- 50:41Speaker 4: or whatever, or do something else on your computer. So
- 50:45Speaker 4: I have been playing Warhammer or the RTS one. They
- 50:48Speaker 4: had like an updated kind of like not an.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Anniversary it was a special edition.
- 50:54Speaker 4: Yeah whatever they're calling it now they have like five
- 50:56Speaker 4: different anniversary special edition uh gold membership, fucking exclusive.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Whatever. Yeah, right, sucks you off edition.
- 51:13Speaker 1: That's what I always put in for it.
- 51:15Speaker 3: But it's a lot of fun.
- 51:17Speaker 4: I was playing through that they got a new one
- 51:20Speaker 4: that's coming out. That's because they kind of it's from
- 51:25Speaker 4: the first Is it the first one? Yeah, it's the
- 51:28Speaker 4: first one, and so like it's their older RTS game style,
- 51:34Speaker 4: and then when they went on to do like Donna
- 51:36Speaker 4: War three, they did like the newer kind of.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Like Mobia like style and combat.
- 51:41Speaker 4: It's kind of you still built up ship, but it
- 51:43Speaker 4: was like really weird and nobody really.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Cared for it.
- 51:46Speaker 4: So going back to like the original like age of Empires,
- 51:49Speaker 4: like you build up an army, build up a town,
- 51:51Speaker 4: send them in kind of thing, micro shit around and
- 51:54Speaker 4: connect collect that, collect but capture points and all that
- 51:57Speaker 4: cool ship. So been getting back in RTS is again too,
- 52:01Speaker 4: So that's fun.
- 52:03Speaker 1: That means we're gonna get back into that bird game one.
- 52:05Speaker 4: We CIV Oh my god, yeah, we could probably play
- 52:08Speaker 4: Cive Civilization five, which is the best in the series.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Like you cannot convince me to look at any other
- 52:15Speaker 4: ones past five. All right, there's there's nothing there.
- 52:19Speaker 5: There's like some.
- 52:20Speaker 4: Quality of life things, but the way that they did
- 52:22Speaker 4: some of this ship it's like like the early I
- 52:25Speaker 4: don't know if it was like the most recent one
- 52:27Speaker 4: of the one before this. They're like, you choose a guy,
- 52:30Speaker 4: but it doesn't fucking matter because you're choosing different periods
- 52:36Speaker 4: from different cultures throughout.
- 52:37Speaker 5: The sieves or whatever.
- 52:39Speaker 4: So even though you start off as like say, uh,
- 52:43Speaker 4: start off as Germany or whatever, you can be something
- 52:46Speaker 4: else by the end, or you're still Germany making the choices. Yeah,
- 52:50Speaker 4: but you're like making choices that other civilizations made kind
- 52:55Speaker 4: of thing, whereas opposed to.
- 52:58Speaker 5: I don't know, it's fucking weird. I I think it's weird, but.
- 53:03Speaker 4: I was great and it's maudible too that you can
- 53:05Speaker 4: add more ship including other sieves and stuff, more maps,
- 53:09Speaker 4: and then of course with you and I playing it,
- 53:12Speaker 4: we just crush everything. We build up our economies until
- 53:15Speaker 4: Stevie gets bored and then half the board disappears.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Because he destroys it.
- 53:21Speaker 5: No, because I fund you to just.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm worried.
- 53:27Speaker 5: I'm smart. I'm like, I'm gonna build.
- 53:28Speaker 4: I'm like, I build up my military too to protect myself.
- 53:31Speaker 4: But I always build up a lot of large cash
- 53:33Speaker 4: of funds, and then as soon as Stevie gets bored,
- 53:35Speaker 4: I'm like, here, take this do crime and he just
- 53:39Speaker 4: destroys like three civilizations.
- 53:43Speaker 2: They all deserve it, though I am very particular on
- 53:46Speaker 2: the ones I attack, usually the ones that pissed me off.
- 53:49Speaker 5: That's fair, It's okay.
- 53:51Speaker 4: They always get antsy when you do better than them
- 53:54Speaker 4: for some reason.
- 54:00Speaker 5: That's pretty much it.
- 54:01Speaker 4: More of the same.
