- 0:10Hey, any chance of scooting over to give a bird some breathing
- 0:13room? Are you squawking at me?
- 0:16Now don't start fighting you guys.
- 0:19I'll move down and make some room there pasty.
- 0:24Now quit. You're squawking.
- 0:26You happy now, Squincy? Why you always got to get your
- 0:29tail feathers all stirred up. I just want a little more room,
- 0:33that's all. There's a whole park bench here
- 0:35for crying out loud. You want to cry out loud,
- 0:38Squincy, is that it 'cause I can help you to do that.
- 0:42Buttons hear buttons. Oh, cute birdies.
- 0:48Did you hear that, Pesty? The little girl thinks.
- 0:50You're cute. Very funny, Robbie, very funny.
- 0:55What you're doing? I'm taking a bird bath.
- 0:58What's it look like I'm doing? Be nice.
- 1:01Bestie. She's just a kid.
- 1:03Did it ever occur to you that I might not like kids?
- 1:08Funny birdies. Where's Buttons?
- 1:11Buttons. Your dress has a zipper.
- 1:14You don't need any buttons. Why?
- 1:17Because your dress has a zipper. Why?
- 1:21I give up, Squincy. You try.
- 1:23Because it was made that way. Why?
- 1:26Because it was easier to use a zipper with buttons, you have to
- 1:31sew them all on and make buttons.
- 1:34Holes. Why?
- 1:35You're doing bestie. Look little girl, zippers are
- 1:39cheaper and you have a cheap dress.
- 1:40OK, you happy now? Scram.
- 1:42I got a headache. Poor birdie.
- 1:45And what's the big idea? Look.
- 1:47Robbie the girl grabs bestie. Somebody help me, she's going to
- 1:50eat me for crying out loud, Mama.
- 1:54Headache go away in Jesus name all better.
- 2:02It don't look like you broke nothing pesty.
- 2:04Did you just yell for your Mama? Are you kidding?
- 2:08I said. Baja.
- 2:11It's something I learned in karate.
- 2:13It's a scare tactic. When did you take karate?
- 2:16What kind of question is that? You're calling me a liar?
- 2:20Is that what you're doing? No, I just don't remember you
- 2:23taking karate lessons it. Worked, didn't it?
- 2:26She let me go. I rest my case.
- 2:28She. Wasn't trying to eat you Pesty,
- 2:31she was praying for you because you said you had a headache.
- 2:35It was a good thing. What do you know, she didn't
- 2:39grab you by the throat. Hey, my headache's gone.
- 2:43You see, I told you it was a good thing she did.
- 2:47You know Jesus was anointed by God to do good works.
- 2:52I think this girl is one of those Christians that does the
- 2:55works of Jesus. He's right pasty.
- 2:58Who asked you? Did I ask you?
- 3:00Huh. Did I?
- 3:01Knock you off, Pasty, You're starting to give me a headache.
- 3:06So, little girl, did you do that?
- 3:09You know, make my headache go away.
- 3:12Jesus help you silly birdie. Yeah, but you prayed, and that's
- 3:17a good thing. Thanks, little girl.
- 3:19What's your name? Bendy.
- 3:21Bendy, we're the bad feathers. I'm Pesty.
- 3:25This here is Robbie, and over there it's Squincy.
- 3:28OK birdie, Jesus loves you. Bye bye.
- 3:32I'd say that little girl was a maniac.
- 3:34Hey, don't call her names like that.
- 3:36He. Didn't mean anything bad by it.
- 3:39A maniac is someone who's very enthusiastic about something.
- 3:44He's right pasty. She's one of those Christian
- 3:46maniacs. She wasn't afraid to pray for
- 3:49you. She told you Jesus loved you.
- 3:52You're squawking at me. Leave him alone, Pasty.
- 3:55He didn't mean anything. You're.
- 3:57Squawking at me. Be nice, pasty.
- 3:59You're squawking at me. Watch it.
- 4:00You're squawking at me. Settle down.
- 4:02I'm looking at you over here. Knock it off.
- 4:09When Christians are described as enthusiastic, it means that they
- 4:12want to follow Jesus with all of their heart and do the works
- 4:16that Jesus did on the earth. Jesus said in Mark 1617 through
- 4:2118 that one of the ways we would be able to tell who his
- 4:24followers were would be when we see people lay hands on the sick
- 4:29so they can be healed. Special thanks to others Brianna
- 4:33Coulson. What are we stopping for?
- 4:51Didn't you hear what the godbird said?
- 4:53All I heard was a bunch of mumbling.
- 4:56Maybe you need to get your ears clean pasty.
- 4:59What are you saying? Are you saying I'm a dirty bird?
- 5:02Is that what you mean? I'm just saying that I heard him
- 5:06loud and clear. Oh, so I'm deaf now?
- 5:10I'm a dirty deaf bird. You just call me a dirty deaf
- 5:14bird. That does it.
- 5:17Knock it off you too. We're supposed to go 2 by 2 and
- 5:22preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead and cast
- 5:26out devils. Just like the godbird said.
- 5:29In case you weren't listening, Pesty.
- 5:32Yeah, I knew that's what he said.
- 5:34I was just testing Squincy, that's all.
- 5:37Let's get moving here. We're the godbird's disciples.
- 5:42He anointed us to do the same things he does.
- 5:46I don't know about you guys, but I'm hot, I'm tired, I need a
- 5:50birdbath. Besides, we're bad feathers.
- 5:54Since when do we do what we're told?
- 5:57But the Godbird said. I don't care what the godbird
- 6:00said and near the. Use.
- 6:02We care. Yeah, Pesty, what makes you
- 6:05think we don't care what the godbird said?
- 6:08Look at you, he said. Go 2 by two.
- 6:11He didn't say three by three. So there you have it.
- 6:15And. OK, I see your point.
- 6:17Come on, Squincy. Let's you and me go Willy Pesty
- 6:22here. 2's company, 3's a crowd. Wait a second, wait a second.
- 6:28Do you 2 actually think you can get along without me?
- 6:32Yeah. OK, OK, who's going to listen to
- 6:35a boy, huh? Other birds.
- 6:38OK, OK, OK, OK, let's say you run into a bird with a broken
- 6:43wing. What are you going to say to a
- 6:45bird with a broken wing? I'd.
- 6:47Say and do what the godbird always says and does.
- 6:51I'd pray for. His wing and then by the Bing he
- 6:54flies away. Yeah, just like the godbird.
- 6:57What makes you to think it will work if you?
- 7:00Pray. That's what the Godbird said to
- 7:03do, yeah. Did it ever occur to you that if
- 7:06you could do the same things that the Godbird does, he'd be
- 7:10out of a job? But the Godbird needs our help.
- 7:14Yeah, there's a lot of sick birds out there, Pesty.
- 7:17In fact, I'm talking to one of them Now.
- 7:21You don't have to go if you don't want to, but I'm going to
- 7:24do what the godbird says. Me too.
- 7:27I may be hot and tired, but I want to please the God Bird more
- 7:30than I want to please you. Let's go, Robbie.
- 7:33You 2GO on ahead, I'm going to give me a nice cold glass of
- 7:38Mountain COO. Mountain COO That cost money.
- 7:42Did you bring money, Pesty? You weren't supposed to bring
- 7:46any money. You know the God bird said that
- 7:49he would supply our needs. Do I look stupid to you too?
- 7:53I don't go anywhere without money.
- 7:56Besides, I knew we'd get distracted and wouldn't really
- 7:59go. So how about it guys?
- 8:02Yahoo. Good old mountain coup I'm
- 8:05buying. Later Pasty.
- 8:08Later Pasty. Well, they'll be back.
- 8:16They'll never make it without me.
- 8:18I'll wait right here for them. They'll get to thinking about
- 8:22those mountain Coos and they'll be begging me to buy them one.
- 8:27The next day, what's? Taking those guys so long, they
- 8:33must have got lost. I'd wish they'd hurry.
- 8:36I'm thirsty. I sure could use that mountain
- 8:39COO. Yeah, lucky you's coming.
- 8:44What I tell ya, Squincy. Robbie.
- 8:49You still hear. Me abandoned my own friends.
- 8:54I stayed put because I had a hunch you'd be back.
- 8:57It was just like you said, Pesty.
- 8:59I knew it. You should have listened to me
- 9:01yesterday, bird brain. What are you talking about,
- 9:04Pesty? What do you mean?
- 9:06What am I talking about? What are you talking about?
- 9:09Quincy and me prayed for this bird with a broken wing just
- 9:13like you said. Bada Bing bada boom you did.
- 9:17What? Happened.
- 9:18He flew away. We were just on our way to
- 9:21report to the God bird. Yeah, boy, is he going to be
- 9:25pleased. Come on, Squincy, let's hurry.
- 9:33What are you so joyful about, eh?
- 9:35What are you guys some kind of maniacs?
- 9:37Now you think you're Christian maniacs.
- 9:40Is that it? All this enthusiasm for the God
- 9:44bird. Now that you did something
- 9:45right, well, you guys can forget about the mountain.
- 9:49Goose, you coming pasty? Yeah, I'm right behind you.
- 9:58In Luke chapter 10, Jesus sent his followers to go to other
- 10:02towns to share the gospel and pray for the sick.
- 10:05Jesus followers came back so happy because they experienced
- 10:10God's power working through them.
- 10:12Jesus still needs us today to share His message with people
- 10:16and pray for the sick and they will be healed.
- 10:18We can do this boldly when we remember that Jesus is not only
- 10:22with us, but He is in us to help us get the job done.
- 10:33All right fellas, remember the words of the God bird.
- 10:37I do not seek my own will, but the will of the Father who sent
- 10:41me. John, 530.
- 10:44Well, the only thing I'm seeking right now is a couple of warm
- 10:47seed. That's what I'm seeking.
- 10:49What's the matter with your pasty?
- 10:52Didn't you read the Godbirds? Book.
- 10:54What are you saying, Squincy? Are you saying I can't read?
- 10:57Is that what you're saying? Because if that's what you're
- 10:59saying, I'm going to break your lousy beak.
- 11:02Knock it off Pesty. Can you 2 just do what you're
- 11:06supposed to do without fighting? I have a small problem with
- 11:09doing what I'm told, Robbie. You say we're supposed to do
- 11:13what the godbird says, which this week it's I don't seek my
- 11:17own will, but the will of the Father who sent me.
- 11:20John 530. Whatever that means, it means.
- 11:23It means that if what we want to do and what the Father wants us
- 11:27to do are two different things, we do what the father wants.
- 11:32It's that simple. So what's the problem, Pesty?
- 11:36The problem is we are bad feathers.
- 11:39Bad feathers do what's bad, remember?
- 11:42Yeah, I remember. But we're birds of a different
- 11:45feather now. We're good feathers.
- 11:48I got the same feathers I always had.
- 11:52What it means we're different on the inside.
- 11:56We're supposed to love God with all of our hearts.
- 11:59He's supposed to be #1 in our lives, I like to say.
- 12:05If it's in the book, take a look.
- 12:07Are you squawking at me? Are you squawking at me?
- 12:11I was squawking the Robbie. So mind your own business before
- 12:14I stick the book on your beak. You got that, Squincy?
- 12:18For the last time, you 2 knock it off.
- 12:21I was just trying to explain to him why we live by the words of
- 12:25the God Burn found in John 530. I do not seek my own will, but
- 12:32the will of the Father who sent me.
- 12:37I get it. You think I'm too dumb to be a
- 12:40good feather. You think I am too dumb to
- 12:42understand the words of the God board?
- 12:44Is that what you're saying, Quincy?
- 12:46I'm too dumb. You got to explain everything to
- 12:49me because I'm too dumb. That does it.
- 12:56The anointing of God to do good works is for believers today.
- 13:00This is not good works. Come on, Bestie.
- 13:12Squincy and I have both repented.
- 13:14It's your turn. I'm a bad feather.
- 13:17Bad feathers don't repent. What's the matter, Pesty?
- 13:22Do you want to be a bad feather for the rest of your life?
- 13:25So what if I do? Is that so bad?
- 13:28I mean, what could be so bad about being a bad feather?
- 13:31Bad feathers don't do what the godbird says.
- 13:34That's what's so bad with it. Yeah, and if you lukewarm, the
- 13:38godbird will spit you out of his mouth.
- 13:41What are you saying, Squincy? Are you saying that I'm a loogie
- 13:44in the godbird's mouth? Is that what you're saying?
- 13:47No, pasty, I didn't say you were a loogie.
- 13:51Oh, I. Get it?
- 13:52So now I'm vomit, huh? I'm so bad that the godbird just
- 13:56spits me out all over the place that doesn't.
- 14:00Get off Pesty, quit pecking on Squincy every time he says
- 14:04something you don't like. Why don't you beak on me?
- 14:08I started it. Why can't you stay out of my
- 14:10fights, huh Robbie? You're always breaking them up.
- 14:13What are you some kind of goody 2 shoes?
- 14:15Are you squawking to me, Pesty? Are you squawking to me?
- 14:19Because if you're squawking to me, I'll turn your beak inside
- 14:23out. I wasn't squawking to you,
- 14:24Robbie, Were you squawking to Robbie Squincy?
- 14:27Yeah, I'd never squawk to anyone.
- 14:29Pesty. You know me.
- 14:30We wasn't squawking to your Robbie.
- 14:32Now listen up, Pesty, Squincy and me decided to go in a new
- 14:37direction. Following the God bird.
- 14:39Can I talk without you interrupting?
- 14:41Is that too much to ask? I can do that.
- 14:44Anyway, like I was saying, Squincy and me have decided to
- 14:48keep God number one in our lives.
- 14:50So you're kicking me out, Is that what you're saying?
- 14:53Just like that, I'm not following the God bird, so I'm
- 14:56no longer a pigeon, No. Pesty, you're a pigeon.
- 15:01What Robbie's trying to say is that from now on, we want to be
- 15:05good feathers. We want to be ready to do
- 15:09whatever the godbird wants us to do.
- 15:12No praying for people, telling them about the godbird son,
- 15:17Jesus, that sort of thing. But I've accepted the godbird
- 15:21son into my heart. It's just that.
- 15:25What? Well, I'm a little.
- 15:29You can tell us, Pesty. We're your pals.
- 15:32We want to help. We cares about you.
- 15:36We want you to be ones of us. Now, well, I can't.
- 15:40Why not? Because I'm a chicken.
- 15:42There, I said it. Are you happy now?
- 15:44I'm a chicken. What are you saying?
- 15:47Are you saying you're Kentucky Fried?
- 15:49Not that kind of chicken. I'm scared to pray for people.
- 15:53I'm scared to tell people about the godbird son.
- 15:56Then stir up the gift that's within you.
- 15:59You said you asked Jesus into your heart.
- 16:02You got the same godbird son we do.
- 16:05Just stir him up. Get his wings flapping.
- 16:08Start flying with the the good feathers.
- 16:11How? By praying, reading your Bible,
- 16:16go into church. We must protect the godbirds
- 16:20anointing in our lives to keep ourselves ready for the godbirds
- 16:24use. Then when the opportunity comes
- 16:26to pray for someone, not a being, you just do it.
- 16:29Then the godbird takes over and answers your prayer.
- 16:33Is that it? That's all there is to it.
- 16:36That's it. I can do that.
- 16:38I can be a good feather. Then let's fly good feathers.
- 16:47Hey bestie, I always knew you'd come to your senses and repent.
- 16:51What are you saying, Squincy? Are you saying I was out of my
- 16:54mind? That I was crazy?
- 16:56Is that what you're saying? You better be glad I'm a good
- 16:58feather now. I'll turn your beak inside out,
- 17:01Squincy.
