• 1:24
  and
• 1:24
  perhaps
• 1:25
  the
• 1:25
  Upside
• 1:25
  Down.
• 1:26
  You
• 1:26
  know,
• 1:26
  I
• 1:26
  can't
• 1:27
  even
• 1:27
  tell
• 1:27
  anymore
• 1:28
  if
• 1:28
  I'm
• 1:28
  in
• 1:28
  the
• 1:28
  Upside
• 1:28
  down
• 1:29
  world
• 1:29
  or
• 1:29
  the
• 1:29
  real
• 1:29
  world.
• 1:30
  I.
• 1:30
  I
• 1:30
  don't
• 1:30
  know.
• 1:31
  We
• 1:31
  are
• 1:31
  your
• 1:31
  priests
• 1:32
  to
• 1:32
  the
• 1:32
  geeks,
• 1:33
  and
• 1:33
  that
• 1:33
  just
• 1:34
  means
• 1:34
  that
• 1:34
  we're
• 1:34
  the
• 1:34
  mediators
• 1:35
  and
• 1:35
  curators
• 1:36
  at
• 1:36
  the
• 1:36
  intersection
• 1:37
  of
• 1:37
  pop
• 1:37
  culture
• 1:38
  and
• 1:38
  our
• 1:38
  faith.
• 1:39
  And
• 1:39
  I
• 1:39
  have
• 1:39
  two
• 1:40
  of
• 1:40
  my
• 1:40
  favorite
• 1:41
  priests
• 1:41
  to
• 1:42
  the
• 1:42
  geeks
• 1:42
  with
• 1:42
  me
• 1:42
  today,
• 1:43
  Laura
• 1:44
  and
• 1:45
  Kevin.
• 1:45
  And,
• 1:46
  friends,
• 1:46
  we
• 1:46
  have
• 1:47
  a
• 1:47
  challenge
• 1:48
  set
• 1:48
  out
• 1:48
  for
• 1:49
  us
• 1:49
  today.
• 1:49
  We
• 1:50
  have
• 1:50
  to
• 1:50
  discuss
• 1:51
  or
• 1:51
  called
• 1:52
  to
• 1:52
  discuss
• 1:52
  or
• 1:52
  lured
• 1:53
  to
• 1:53
  discuss.
• 1:54
  Ah,
• 1:54
  we
• 1:54
  can't
• 1:54
  help
• 1:55
  it.
• 1:55
  We
• 1:55
  want
• 1:55
  to
• 1:55
  discuss
• 1:56
  four
• 1:56
  seasons
• 1:57
  of
• 1:57
  Stranger
• 1:57
  Things
• 1:58
  in
• 1:58
  around
• 1:59
  30
• 2:00
  minutes
• 2:00
  or
• 2:00
  so.
• 2:00
  So
• 2:01
  you
• 2:01
  guys
• 2:01
  up
• 2:01
  for
• 2:01
  this?
• 2:02
  I
• 2:02
  got
• 2:02
  this
• 2:03
  challenge.
• 2:03
  I
• 2:03
  don't
• 2:03
  know
• 2:04
  how.
• 2:04
  Yeah,
• 2:04
  we'll
• 2:04
  see.
• 2:05
  I
• 2:06
  believe
• 2:06
  it
• 2:06
  is.
• 2:06
  I
• 2:06
  especially
• 2:07
  love.
• 2:07
  I
• 2:07
  especially
• 2:07
  love
• 2:08
  this
• 2:08
  one
• 2:08
  because
• 2:08
  it's
• 2:08
  like,
• 2:09
  you
• 2:09
  know,
• 2:09
  I
• 2:09
  mean,
• 2:10
  that
• 2:10
  the.
• 2:10
  Each
• 2:10
  season
• 2:11
  gets
• 2:11
  longer
• 2:11
  and
• 2:11
  longer
• 2:12
  and,
• 2:12
  like,
• 2:12
  each
• 2:12
  episode
• 2:13
  is
• 2:13
  like
• 2:13
  a
• 2:13
  movie.
• 2:13
  So
• 2:14
  I
• 2:14
  can
• 2:14
  go
• 2:14
  on
• 2:15
  for
• 2:15
  hours
• 2:15
  and
• 2:15
  hours.
• 2:16
  We
• 2:16
  sure
• 2:16
  could.
• 2:17
  We
• 2:17
  sure
• 2:17
  could.
• 2:17
  We
• 2:18
  will
• 2:18
  try
• 2:18
  to
• 2:18
  keep
• 2:18
  it
• 2:18
  concise.
• 2:19
  We
• 2:20
  will.
• 2:20
  Because
• 2:20
  this
• 2:20
  is
• 2:21
  a
• 2:21
  part
• 2:21
  of
• 2:21
  our
• 2:21
  bonus
• 2:22
  series,
• 2:22
  Flicks
• 2:22
  Fridays,
• 2:23
  discussing
• 2:23
  those
• 2:24
  bingeable
• 2:24
  shows
• 2:25
  on
• 2:25
  Netflix.
• 2:25
  And
• 2:26
  this
• 2:26
  is
• 2:27
  the
• 2:27
  finale.
• 2:28
  This
• 2:28
  is
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  finale
• 2:29
  of
• 2:29
  this
• 2:29
  series.
• 2:29
  And
• 2:30
  so
• 2:30
  why
• 2:30
  not
• 2:30
  end
• 2:31
  with
• 2:31
  what
• 2:31
  some
• 2:32
  would
• 2:32
  consider
• 2:32
  the
• 2:32
  best
• 2:33
  bingeable
• 2:34
  show
• 2:34
  or
• 2:34
  perhaps
• 2:34
  the.
• 2:35
  The
• 2:35
  show
• 2:35
  that
• 2:36
  possibly
• 2:36
  pioneered
• 2:37
  Benjamal.
• 2:38
  We're
• 2:38
  not
• 2:38
  talking
• 2:38
  about
• 2:38
  House
• 2:38
  of
• 2:39
  Cards.
• 2:39
  We're
• 2:39
  talking
• 2:39
  about
• 2:40
  Stranger
• 2:41
  Things.
• 2:42
  And
• 2:42
  so
• 2:42
  it's
• 2:42
  time
• 2:43
  to
• 2:43
  battle
• 2:43
  this
• 2:44
  demogorgon
• 2:45
  and
• 2:45
  get
• 2:45
  justice
• 2:45
  for
• 2:46
  Barb.
• 2:47
  Let's
• 2:47
  talk
• 2:47
  Stranger
• 2:48
  Things.
• 2:48
  Let's
• 2:48
  do
• 2:49
  it.
• 2:49
  Let's
• 2:49
  do
• 2:50
  it.
• 2:50
  All
• 2:50
  right,
• 2:51
  so
• 2:51
  as
• 2:51
  we.
• 2:52
  How
• 2:52
  did
• 2:52
  you
• 2:52
  guys
• 2:52
  get
• 2:52
  introduced
• 2:53
  to
• 2:53
  this
• 2:53
  show?
• 2:53
  Were
• 2:54
  you
• 2:54
  there
• 2:54
  from
• 2:54
  the
• 2:54
  beginning?
• 2:55
  This
• 2:55
  is
• 2:55
  the
• 2:55
  first
• 2:55
  season,
• 2:56
  debuted
• 2:57
  in.
• 2:58
  In
• 2:58
  the
• 2:58
  summer
• 2:58
  of
• 2:59
  2016.
• 3:01
  Kevin,
• 3:02
  how.
• 3:02
  How
• 3:03
  did
• 3:03
  you
• 3:03
  find
• 3:03
  the
• 3:03
  show?
• 3:04
  Were
• 3:04
  you
• 3:04
  there
• 3:04
  from
• 3:04
  the
• 3:04
  beginning?
• 3:04
  Or
• 3:05
  someone
• 3:05
  say,
• 3:05
  hey,
• 3:05
  we
• 3:06
  know
• 3:06
  you're
• 3:06
  a
• 3:06
  nerd.
• 3:06
  We
• 3:06
  know
• 3:06
  you're
• 3:07
  a
• 3:07
  geek.
• 3:07
  You
• 3:07
  have
• 3:07
  to.
• 3:08
  On
• 3:08
  this.
• 3:08
  It's
• 3:08
  got
• 3:09
  lots
• 3:09
  of
• 3:09
  geek
• 3:10
  pop
• 3:10
  culture
• 3:10
  references.
• 3:11
  I
• 3:12
  was
• 3:12
  there
• 3:12
  right
• 3:12
  from
• 3:13
  the
• 3:13
  beginning.
• 3:13
  I
• 3:13
  mean,
• 3:14
  this
• 3:14
  was
• 3:14
  like
• 3:14
  a
• 3:14
  show
• 3:15
  Taylor
• 3:15
  made
• 3:16
  for
• 3:16
  me.
• 3:16
  So
• 3:17
  I
• 3:17
  binged
• 3:17
  that
• 3:18
  first
• 3:18
  season,
• 3:19
  that
• 3:19
  opening
• 3:20
  weekend
• 3:20
  or
• 3:20
  whatever,
• 3:21
  and
• 3:21
  fell
• 3:22
  in
• 3:22
  love
• 3:22
  with
• 3:22
  it
• 3:22
  right
• 3:22
  away.
• 3:23
  I
• 3:23
  liked,
• 3:24
  you
• 3:24
  know,
• 3:25
  especially
• 3:25
  once
• 3:25
  I
• 3:26
  learned
• 3:26
  that
• 3:26
  the
• 3:26
  creators
• 3:27
  were
• 3:27
  from
• 3:27
  North
• 3:28
  Carolina.
• 3:29
  All
• 3:29
  of
• 3:29
  the
• 3:30
  pop
• 3:30
  culture
• 3:31
  nostalgia
• 3:31
  that
• 3:31
  I
• 3:31
  love
• 3:32
  was
• 3:32
  embedded
• 3:32
  into
• 3:32
  it.
• 3:33
  So
• 3:33
  I
• 3:33
  was
• 3:34
  a
• 3:34
  fan
• 3:34
  straight
• 3:35
  from
• 3:35
  the
• 3:35
  beginning.
• 3:35
  And
• 3:35
  I.
• 3:36
  I
• 3:36
  was
• 3:36
  even
• 3:36
  ill
• 3:37
  because
• 3:38
  I
• 3:38
  remember
• 3:39
  a
• 3:39
  friend
• 3:39
  of
• 3:39
  mine,
• 3:40
  Zach
• 3:40
  Smith,
• 3:40
  who
• 3:41
  was
• 3:41
  writing
• 3:42
  for
• 3:42
  Indie
• 3:42
  Week
• 3:43
  at
• 3:43
  the
• 3:43
  time,
• 3:43
  which
• 3:43
  is
• 3:43
  our.
• 3:44
  One
• 3:44
  of
• 3:44
  our
• 3:44
  local
• 3:44
  Independent
• 3:45
  newspapers.
• 3:46
  He
• 3:46
  was
• 3:47
  able
• 3:47
  to
• 3:47
  do
• 3:47
  a
• 3:47
  feature
• 3:47
  on
• 3:48
  it
• 3:48
  before
• 3:48
  it
• 3:48
  debuted.
• 3:49
  And
• 3:49
  so
• 3:49
  at
• 3:50
  that
• 3:50
  time,
• 3:50
  I
• 3:50
  was
• 3:50
  helping
• 3:51
  a
• 3:51
  lot
• 3:51
  with
• 3:51
  NC
• 3:51
  Comic
• 3:52
  Con,
• 3:52
  and
• 3:52
  I
• 3:52
  was
• 3:53
  like,
• 3:53
  let's
• 3:53
  try
• 3:53
  to
• 3:53
  get
• 3:53
  the
• 3:53
  Duffer
• 3:54
  Brothers
• 3:54
  to
• 3:55
  the
• 3:56
  show.
• 3:56
  And
• 3:57
  by
• 3:57
  then,
• 3:57
  it
• 3:57
  blew
• 3:58
  up
• 3:58
  so
• 3:58
  quickly,
• 3:58
  and
• 3:59
  they
• 3:59
  got
• 3:59
  so
• 3:59
  busy,
• 3:59
  and
• 3:59
  they
• 4:00
  were
• 4:00
  already
• 4:00
  working
• 4:01
  on
• 4:01
  season
• 4:01
  two.
• 4:01
  So
• 4:01
  it
• 4:01
  didn't
• 4:02
  work
• 4:02
  out.
• 4:02
  But
• 4:02
  that's
• 4:02
  still
• 4:03
  my
• 4:03
  dream
• 4:03
  is
• 4:03
  to
• 4:03
  meet
• 4:04
  and
• 4:04
  possibly
• 4:04
  interview
• 4:05
  them
• 4:05
  one
• 4:05
  day.
• 4:05
  One
• 4:05
  day,
• 4:06
  see
• 4:06
  if
• 4:06
  it
• 4:06
  happens.
• 4:07
  But
• 4:07
  I
• 4:07
  was.
• 4:08
  I
• 4:08
  was
• 4:08
  one
• 4:08
  of
• 4:08
  its
• 4:09
  early
• 4:10
  evangelists
• 4:11
  and
• 4:11
  telling
• 4:12
  everyone
• 4:12
  to
• 4:12
  watch
• 4:12
  it.
• 4:13
  And
• 4:13
  I
• 4:13
  was
• 4:13
  a
• 4:13
  fan
• 4:14
  right
• 4:14
  there
• 4:14
  from
• 4:14
  day
• 4:15
  one.
• 4:15
  Cool.
• 4:15
  Laura,
• 4:16
  how
• 4:16
  about
• 4:16
  you?
• 4:18
  So
• 4:18
  I
• 4:18
  was
• 4:19
  there
• 4:19
  pretty
• 4:19
  much
• 4:19
  from
• 4:20
  the
• 4:20
  beginning.
• 4:21
  I
• 4:22
  did
• 4:22
  not
• 4:22
  watch
• 4:23
  it
• 4:23
  immediately
• 4:24
  when
• 4:24
  it
• 4:24
  came
• 4:24
  out
• 4:25
  because
• 4:25
  I
• 4:25
  knew
• 4:26
  it
• 4:26
  involved
• 4:26
  a
• 4:26
  kid
• 4:27
  disappearing.
• 4:28
  And
• 4:29
  as
• 4:29
  a
• 4:30
  mom,
• 4:30
  I
• 4:30
  was
• 4:30
  like.
• 4:31
  And
• 4:31
  then
• 4:31
  my
• 4:31
  husband
• 4:32
  was
• 4:32
  like,
• 4:32
  trust
• 4:32
  me,
• 4:33
  I
• 4:33
  really
• 4:33
  think
• 4:33
  you
• 4:33
  need
• 4:34
  to
• 4:34
  watch
• 4:34
  this,
• 4:34
  because
• 4:34
  this
• 4:34
  is
• 4:35
  everything
• 4:35
  you
• 4:35
  love.
• 4:36
  And
• 4:37
  then
• 4:37
  we
• 4:37
  did,
• 4:37
  and
• 4:37
  I
• 4:37
  was
• 4:38
  immediately
• 4:38
  hooked.
• 4:39
  And
• 4:39
  then
• 4:40
  by
• 4:40
  the
• 4:40
  time
• 4:40
  seasons
• 4:41
  two
• 4:41
  and
• 4:41
  three
• 4:41
  rolled
• 4:42
  around,
• 4:42
  like,
• 4:43
  we
• 4:43
  were
• 4:43
  doing
• 4:43
  countdowns
• 4:44
  for
• 4:44
  the
• 4:44
  show.
• 4:45
  So
• 4:45
  I
• 4:45
  was
• 4:45
  there
• 4:46
  from
• 4:46
  the
• 4:46
  beginning,
• 4:46
  for
• 4:47
  sure.
• 4:47
  Nice,
• 4:48
  Laura.
• 4:48
  If
• 4:49
  I
• 4:49
  can
• 4:49
  give
• 4:49
  a
• 4:49
  quick
• 4:49
  anecdote
• 4:50
  there,
• 4:50
  I
• 4:51
  know
• 4:51
  I
• 4:51
  could
• 4:51
  go
• 4:52
  on
• 4:52
  and
• 4:52
  on
• 4:52
  about
• 4:53
  trivia,
• 4:53
  some
• 4:53
  of
• 4:53
  the
• 4:53
  show.
• 4:54
  But
• 4:54
  a
• 4:54
  really
• 4:54
  interesting
• 4:54
  fact,
• 4:55
  since
• 4:55
  you
• 4:55
  brought
• 4:55
  that
• 4:55
  up,
• 4:55
  is
• 4:56
  that
• 4:56
  the
• 4:56
  Duffer
• 4:57
  Brothers
• 4:57
  were
• 4:58
  heavily
• 4:58
  inspired
• 4:59
  by
• 4:59
  the
• 4:59
  movie
• 4:59
  Prisoners,
• 5:00
  which
• 5:00
  came
• 5:00
  out
• 5:00
  in
• 5:00
  2013,
• 5:01
  directed
• 5:02
  by
• 5:02
  Denis
• 5:02
  Villeneuve,
• 5:03
  who
• 5:03
  is,
• 5:03
  of
• 5:03
  course,
• 5:04
  one
• 5:04
  of
• 5:04
  the
• 5:04
  hugest
• 5:04
  filmmakers
• 5:05
  today.
• 5:06
  But
• 5:06
  that
• 5:06
  movie
• 5:06
  is
• 5:07
  about
• 5:07
  child
• 5:08
  disappearance
• 5:09
  around
• 5:09
  Thanksgiving,
• 5:10
  and
• 5:10
  they
• 5:10
  took
• 5:11
  that
• 5:11
  as
• 5:12
  major
• 5:12
  inspiration.
• 5:13
  They
• 5:13
  wanted
• 5:13
  to
• 5:13
  craft
• 5:13
  a
• 5:13
  thriller
• 5:14
  around
• 5:15
  that,
• 5:15
  but
• 5:15
  with
• 5:15
  a
• 5:15
  heavy
• 5:16
  supernatural
• 5:17
  emphasis
• 5:18
  as
• 5:18
  well.
• 5:18
  Nice,
• 5:19
  nice.
• 5:20
  Yeah.
• 5:21
  I
• 5:22
  remember
• 5:23
  I'm
• 5:24
  a
• 5:24
  weekly
• 5:24
  listener
• 5:25
  to
• 5:25
  Rebel
• 5:25
  Force
• 5:26
  Radio.
• 5:26
  That's
• 5:27
  my
• 5:27
  favorite
• 5:27
  Star
• 5:28
  wars
• 5:28
  podcast.
• 5:28
  And
• 5:29
  I
• 5:29
  remember
• 5:29
  them
• 5:30
  having
• 5:30
  a
• 5:30
  conversation
• 5:31
  that
• 5:31
  summer
• 5:32
  about
• 5:33
  this
• 5:33
  show,
• 5:33
  Stranger
• 5:33
  things,
• 5:34
  that
• 5:34
  had
• 5:35
  80s
• 5:36
  pop
• 5:36
  culture
• 5:36
  references,
• 5:37
  and
• 5:37
  there
• 5:38
  were,
• 5:38
  like,
• 5:39
  Star
• 5:39
  wars
• 5:39
  action
• 5:40
  figures
• 5:41
  in
• 5:41
  the
• 5:41
  background,
• 5:42
  and
• 5:42
  they
• 5:42
  were
• 5:42
  talking
• 5:43
  about
• 5:43
  all
• 5:43
  these
• 5:43
  kind
• 5:44
  of
• 5:44
  retro
• 5:44
  references
• 5:45
  to
• 5:45
  Star
• 5:45
  wars
• 5:46
  and
• 5:46
  pop
• 5:46
  culture.
• 5:47
  And
• 5:47
  they're
• 5:47
  like,
• 5:47
  oh,
• 5:47
  you
• 5:47
  gotta
• 5:48
  check
• 5:48
  this
• 5:48
  out.
• 5:48
  There's
• 5:48
  a
• 5:49
  big
• 5:49
  Millennium
• 5:49
  Falcon
• 5:50
  hanging
• 5:50
  it
• 5:50
  behind.
• 5:51
  And
• 5:51
  I
• 5:51
  was
• 5:51
  like,
• 5:51
  oh,
• 5:51
  what
• 5:51
  is
• 5:51
  this?
• 5:52
  You
• 5:52
  know?
• 5:52
  And
• 5:52
  so
• 5:53
  then
• 5:53
  they
• 5:53
  started.
• 5:53
  They're
• 5:54
  like,
• 5:54
  oh,
• 5:54
  if
• 5:54
  you
• 5:54
  like
• 5:54
  the
• 5:54
  Goonies,
• 5:55
  if
• 5:55
  you
• 5:55
  like
• 5:56
  Stephen
• 5:56
  King,
• 5:56
  if
• 5:57
  you
• 5:57
  like
• 5:58
  anything.
• 5:59
  Kind
• 5:59
  of
• 5:59
  nostalgic
• 6:00
  for
• 6:00
  the
• 6:00
  80s,
• 6:00
  this
• 6:01
  show
• 6:01
  is.
• 6:01
  That's
• 6:02
  the
• 6:02
  timepiece,
• 6:03
  you
• 6:03
  know,
• 6:04
  for.
• 6:04
  For
• 6:05
  what's
• 6:05
  here
• 6:05
  with
• 6:06
  these
• 6:06
  kids.
• 6:06
  And
• 6:07
  it
• 6:07
  has
• 6:07
  a
• 6:07
  sci
• 6:07
  fi,
• 6:08
  PG
• 6:09
  horror
• 6:09
  kind
• 6:09
  of
• 6:09
  element
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  it.
• 6:10
  And
• 6:11
  so
• 6:11
  I
• 6:11
  hopped
• 6:11
  back
• 6:12
  in,
• 6:12
  and
• 6:12
  then
• 6:13
  my
• 6:13
  kids
• 6:14
  at
• 6:14
  the
• 6:14
  time
• 6:14
  were
• 6:14
  14
• 6:15
  and
• 6:15
  12
• 6:16
  and
• 6:16
  so
• 6:16
  they
• 6:17
  were
• 6:17
  just
• 6:17
  now
• 6:17
  like,
• 6:17
  oh,
• 6:18
  well,
• 6:18
  this
• 6:18
  kind
• 6:18
  of
• 6:19
  ramp
• 6:19
  up
• 6:19
  our
• 6:20
  TV
• 6:20
  show,
• 6:20
  watching
• 6:21
  our
• 6:22
  thriller,
• 6:23
  horror,
• 6:24
  mystery,
• 6:26
  all
• 6:26
  that
• 6:26
  stuff.
• 6:26
  And
• 6:27
  they
• 6:27
  were
• 6:27
  hooked
• 6:27
  immediately.
• 6:28
  So
• 6:28
  whereas
• 6:29
  for
• 6:29
  me,
• 6:30
  kind
• 6:30
  of
• 6:30
  coming
• 6:30
  of
• 6:30
  age
• 6:30
  was
• 6:31
  Star
• 6:31
  Wars,
• 6:32
  Karate
• 6:32
  Kid,
• 6:33
  Goonies,
• 6:34
  that
• 6:34
  kind
• 6:34
  of
• 6:34
  stuff,
• 6:34
  Stranger
• 6:35
  Things,
• 6:35
  and
• 6:36
  Harry
• 6:36
  Potter
• 6:36
  was
• 6:36
  definitely
• 6:37
  for
• 6:37
  my
• 6:37
  kids.
• 6:37
  They
• 6:38
  were
• 6:38
  like,
• 6:38
  that's
• 6:38
  my
• 6:38
  Star
• 6:39
  wars,
• 6:39
  that's
• 6:39
  my
• 6:40
  Goonies.
• 6:40
  And
• 6:40
  they
• 6:41
  were
• 6:41
  just
• 6:41
  hooked.
• 6:41
  So
• 6:41
  we
• 6:41
  were
• 6:42
  the
• 6:42
  same
• 6:42
  way.
• 6:42
  Appointment
• 6:43
  television.
• 6:44
  When
• 6:44
  season
• 6:44
  two
• 6:44
  came
• 6:45
  out,
• 6:45
  I
• 6:45
  remember
• 6:45
  it
• 6:46
  dropped
• 6:46
  and
• 6:46
  we
• 6:46
  woke
• 6:46
  the
• 6:46
  kids
• 6:47
  up
• 6:47
  like
• 6:47
  two
• 6:47
  hours
• 6:48
  early
• 6:48
  before
• 6:48
  school,
• 6:49
  cooked
• 6:49
  waffles,
• 6:50
  and
• 6:51
  we
• 6:51
  all
• 6:52
  ate
• 6:52
  our
• 6:52
  eggo
• 6:53
  waffles
• 6:53
  while
• 6:54
  watching
• 6:54
  the
• 6:54
  first
• 6:55
  two
• 6:55
  episodes
• 6:55
  before
• 6:55
  they
• 6:56
  went
• 6:56
  to
• 6:56
  school
• 6:56
  the
• 6:56
  next
• 6:57
  day.
• 6:57
  So
• 6:58
  that
• 6:58
  was
• 6:58
  just
• 6:58
  a
• 6:59
  core
• 6:59
  memory
• 7:00
  for
• 7:00
  us
• 7:00
  as
• 7:01
  a
• 7:01
  family
• 7:01
  and
• 7:02
  just
• 7:02
  have
• 7:02
  been
• 7:04
  real
• 7:04
  big
• 7:04
  geeks
• 7:05
  about
• 7:05
  the
• 7:05
  show
• 7:05
  and
• 7:05
  can't
• 7:06
  wait
• 7:06
  for
• 7:06
  the
• 7:06
  next
• 7:06
  season
• 7:06
  to
• 7:06
  come
• 7:07
  in.
• 7:07
  So,
• 7:07
  all
• 7:07
  right,
• 7:08
  four
• 7:08
  seasons
• 7:09
  debuted
• 7:10
  2016,
• 7:11
  then
• 7:11
  it
• 7:12
  was
• 7:12
  2017,
• 7:13
  then
• 7:13
  it
• 7:13
  was
• 7:13
  2019,
• 7:15
  then
• 7:15
  another
• 7:16
  three
• 7:16
  years
• 7:16
  to
• 7:17
  2022
• 7:19
  that
• 7:19
  came
• 7:19
  out
• 7:19
  in
• 7:20
  two
• 7:20
  parts.
• 7:20
  And
• 7:21
  now
• 7:21
  we're
• 7:21
  waiting
• 7:21
  for
• 7:22
  the
• 7:22
  final
• 7:22
  fifth
• 7:23
  season.
• 7:24
  Laura,
• 7:24
  if
• 7:24
  you
• 7:25
  had
• 7:25
  to
• 7:25
  sum
• 7:25
  up
• 7:26
  in
• 7:26
  a
• 7:26
  handful
• 7:26
  of
• 7:27
  paragraphs
• 7:28
  what
• 7:28
  this
• 7:29
  show
• 7:29
  is
• 7:29
  about,
• 7:30
  about
• 7:31
  you're
• 7:31
  in
• 7:31
  an
• 7:31
  elevator
• 7:32
  and
• 7:32
  it's
• 7:32
  like,
• 7:32
  I
• 7:32
  haven't
• 7:32
  heard
• 7:32
  of
• 7:32
  Stranger
• 7:33
  Things.
• 7:33
  What
• 7:34
  is
• 7:34
  that
• 7:34
  about?
• 7:34
  And
• 7:35
  before
• 7:35
  you
• 7:35
  get
• 7:35
  off
• 7:35
  the
• 7:35
  elevator,
• 7:37
  what
• 7:37
  are
• 7:37
  you
• 7:37
  gonna
• 7:37
  say?
• 7:38
  It's
• 7:38
  a
• 7:38
  tall
• 7:38
  challenge.
• 7:39
  Like,
• 7:39
  I
• 7:39
  just
• 7:39
  sprung
• 7:39
  this
• 7:40
  on
• 7:40
  her.
• 7:40
  So,
• 7:41
  yeah.
• 7:41
  And
• 7:41
  I'm
• 7:41
  also
• 7:42
  really
• 7:42
  bad
• 7:42
  at
• 7:43
  the
• 7:43
  summaries
• 7:43
  in
• 7:44
  a
• 7:44
  quick
• 7:44
  way
• 7:45
  because
• 7:45
  I'm
• 7:45
  a
• 7:45
  preacher
• 7:45
  and
• 7:46
  I
• 7:46
  like
• 7:46
  to
• 7:46
  talk.
• 7:47
  So
• 7:48
  you
• 7:48
  like
• 7:48
  to
• 7:48
  exegete.
• 7:49
  I
• 7:49
  know
• 7:49
  I
• 7:50
  do.
• 7:50
  I
• 7:50
  do.
• 7:51
  I
• 7:51
  can't
• 7:51
  give
• 7:51
  the
• 7:52
  synopsis
• 7:52
  without
• 7:53
  giving
• 7:53
  my
• 7:53
  commentary.
• 7:54
  But,
• 7:55
  I
• 7:55
  mean,
• 7:55
  the
• 7:55
  basic
• 7:55
  gist
• 7:56
  of
• 7:56
  the
• 7:57
  first
• 7:57
  season,
• 7:57
  if
• 7:57
  you
• 7:57
  haven't
• 7:58
  watched
• 7:58
  it
• 7:58
  at
• 7:58
  all,
• 7:59
  is
• 7:59
  it
• 8:00
  takes
• 8:00
  place
• 8:00
  in
• 8:00
  the
• 8:01
  1980s
• 8:01
  in
• 8:01
  Hawkins,
• 8:02
  Indiana.
• 8:03
  And
• 8:04
  the
• 8:04
  first
• 8:04
  season,
• 8:05
  we're
• 8:05
  starting
• 8:05
  around
• 8:06
  November
• 8:06
  1983.
• 8:07
  And
• 8:08
  it's
• 8:08
  the
• 8:09
  story
• 8:09
  that
• 8:09
  we're
• 8:09
  finding
• 8:10
  is
• 8:11
  that
• 8:11
  Will
• 8:11
  Byers
• 8:13
  has
• 8:13
  disappeared.
• 8:14
  And
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  whole
• 8:15
  season
• 8:16
  is
• 8:16
  sort
• 8:16
  of
• 8:16
  this
• 8:17
  search
• 8:17
  for
• 8:17
  him,
• 8:18
  trying
• 8:18
  to
• 8:18
  figure
• 8:18
  out
• 8:19
  where
• 8:19
  he
• 8:19
  is.
• 8:20
  And
• 8:20
  it
• 8:21
  is
• 8:21
  his
• 8:21
  mother
• 8:21
  who
• 8:22
  starts
• 8:22
  getting
• 8:22
  really
• 8:23
  crafty
• 8:23
  and
• 8:24
  doing
• 8:24
  some
• 8:24
  things
• 8:24
  to
• 8:25
  sort
• 8:26
  of
• 8:26
  tap
• 8:27
  into
• 8:27
  what
• 8:27
  we
• 8:27
  eventually
• 8:28
  know
• 8:28
  to
• 8:28
  be
• 8:28
  the
• 8:28
  Upside
• 8:29
  down,
• 8:29
  to
• 8:29
  get
• 8:30
  messages
• 8:30
  from
• 8:30
  Will
• 8:31
  and
• 8:31
  figure
• 8:31
  out
• 8:31
  exactly
• 8:32
  what's
• 8:32
  going
• 8:32
  on.
• 8:32
  And
• 8:33
  it's
• 8:33
  really
• 8:33
  through
• 8:34
  her
• 8:34
  commitment
• 8:35
  to
• 8:35
  the
• 8:35
  story
• 8:36
  that
• 8:37
  we're
• 8:37
  able
• 8:37
  to
• 8:37
  find
• 8:37
  a
• 8:38
  resolution
• 8:38
  and
• 8:38
  figure
• 8:39
  out
• 8:39
  where
• 8:39
  Will
• 8:39
  is.
• 8:40
  But
• 8:41
  what
• 8:41
  we
• 8:41
  quickly
• 8:41
  realized
• 8:42
  beyond
• 8:42
  in
• 8:43
  other
• 8:43
  seasons
• 8:43
  is
• 8:43
  that
• 8:44
  the
• 8:44
  Upside
• 8:44
  down
• 8:44
  never
• 8:45
  really
• 8:45
  leaves,
• 8:45
  that
• 8:45
  there's
• 8:46
  this
• 8:47
  sort
• 8:47
  of
• 8:47
  breaking
• 8:47
  through
• 8:48
  and
• 8:48
  connection
• 8:48
  to
• 8:48
  the
• 8:49
  Upside
• 8:49
  down
• 8:49
  in
• 8:50
  different
• 8:50
  places
• 8:50
  and
• 8:51
  in
• 8:51
  different
• 8:51
  times.
• 8:52
  And
• 8:52
  so
• 8:53
  that's
• 8:53
  a
• 8:53
  really
• 8:53
  terrible
• 8:54
  summary,
• 8:54
  but
• 8:54
  that's
• 8:55
  the
• 8:55
  summary
• 8:55
  I'm
• 8:55
  giving
• 8:56
  you.
• 8:56
  Elevator
• 8:57
  rides
• 8:57
  over
• 8:58
  the
• 8:58
  elevator
• 8:58
  ride.
• 8:59
  And
• 8:59
  they.
• 8:59
  They've
• 9:00
  been
• 9:00
  left
• 9:00
  wanting
• 9:01
  more,
• 9:01
  so
• 9:01
  they
• 9:01
  leave.
• 9:02
  And
• 9:02
  as
• 9:02
  they're
• 9:02
  walking
• 9:03
  down
• 9:03
  the
• 9:03
  hallway,
• 9:04
  they.
• 9:04
  They
• 9:04
  see
• 9:04
  Kevin
• 9:05
  and
• 9:05
  they
• 9:05
  see
• 9:05
  that
• 9:06
  he's
• 9:06
  wearing
• 9:06
  a
• 9:06
  Stranger
• 9:07
  Things
• 9:07
  T
• 9:07
  shirt,
• 9:08
  and
• 9:08
  they're
• 9:08
  like,
• 9:08
  you
• 9:08
  know,
• 9:09
  Laura
• 9:09
  just
• 9:09
  told
• 9:09
  me
• 9:10
  some
• 9:10
  stuff
• 9:10
  about.
• 9:11
  I
• 9:11
  want
• 9:11
  to
• 9:11
  know
• 9:11
  a
• 9:11
  little
• 9:11
  bit
• 9:11
  more,
• 9:12
  Kevin.
• 9:12
  What.
• 9:12
  What.
• 9:13
  What
• 9:13
  more
• 9:13
  can
• 9:13
  you
• 9:13
  tell
• 9:14
  me
• 9:14
  about
• 9:14
  Stranger
• 9:14
  Things?
• 9:15
  And.
• 9:15
  And.
• 9:15
  And
• 9:16
  I
• 9:16
  only
• 9:16
  have
• 9:16
  down
• 9:17
  this
• 9:17
  hallway
• 9:17
  to
• 9:18
  share.
• 9:18
  And
• 9:19
  so
• 9:19
  you.
• 9:19
  You're
• 9:19
  tasked
• 9:20
  with
• 9:20
  walking
• 9:20
  down
• 9:20
  this
• 9:20
  hallway
• 9:21
  and
• 9:21
  sharing
• 9:21
  what.
• 9:22
  What.
• 9:22
  What
• 9:22
  you
• 9:22
  think
• 9:23
  Strange
• 9:23
  Things
• 9:24
  is
• 9:24
  about.
• 9:25
  So.
• 9:26
  Yeah,
• 9:26
  no,
• 9:26
  I
• 9:26
  think
• 9:26
  that's
• 9:27
  a
• 9:27
  great
• 9:27
  elevator
• 9:27
  pitch
• 9:28
  there.
• 9:28
  And
• 9:28
  I
• 9:28
  would
• 9:29
  just
• 9:29
  add
• 9:29
  that
• 9:30
  looking
• 9:31
  at
• 9:31
  each
• 9:31
  season,
• 9:31
  because.
• 9:32
  So
• 9:32
  in
• 9:32
  the
• 9:33
  first
• 9:33
  season,
• 9:33
  the
• 9:34
  kind
• 9:34
  of
• 9:34
  central
• 9:35
  strange
• 9:35
  things
• 9:35
  that
• 9:35
  happen
• 9:36
  are
• 9:36
  the
• 9:36
  arrival
• 9:37
  of
• 9:37
  a
• 9:37
  young
• 9:38
  girl
• 9:38
  named
• 9:38
  Eleven
• 9:39
  with
• 9:39
  supernatural
• 9:40
  abilities.
• 9:40
  And
• 9:40
  we
• 9:40
  don't
• 9:40
  really
• 9:41
  know
• 9:41
  what
• 9:41
  her
• 9:41
  deal
• 9:42
  is,
• 9:42
  and
• 9:42
  she
• 9:42
  has
• 9:43
  some
• 9:43
  kind.
• 9:43
  There's
• 9:43
  some
• 9:43
  kind
• 9:43
  of
• 9:43
  government
• 9:44
  conspiracy
• 9:45
  linked
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  her
• 9:45
  origins.
• 9:46
  So
• 9:46
  we
• 9:46
  learn
• 9:46
  a
• 9:46
  lot
• 9:46
  about
• 9:47
  that.
• 9:47
  There
• 9:47
  is
• 9:47
  also
• 9:48
  a
• 9:49
  monster
• 9:49
  that
• 9:50
  named
• 9:50
  the
• 9:50
  Demogorgon,
• 9:51
  which
• 9:51
  they
• 9:51
  derived
• 9:52
  from
• 9:52
  D
• 9:52
  and
• 9:53
  D
• 9:53
  mythology
• 9:53
  and
• 9:53
  Litecoin,
• 9:55
  the
• 9:55
  monster,
• 9:56
  that
• 9:56
  term,
• 9:56
  but
• 9:56
  it
• 9:57
  stems
• 9:57
  from
• 9:58
  a
• 9:58
  parallel
• 9:58
  universe
• 9:59
  called
• 9:59
  the
• 9:59
  Upside
• 10:00
  Down.
• 10:00
  And
• 10:01
  so
• 10:01
  these
• 10:01
  concepts
• 10:01
  come
• 10:02
  into
• 10:02
  play
• 10:02
  early
• 10:02
  in
• 10:03
  season
• 10:03
  one,
• 10:03
  but
• 10:03
  then
• 10:04
  as
• 10:04
  the
• 10:04
  later
• 10:04
  seasons
• 10:05
  progress,
• 10:05
  we
• 10:06
  learn
• 10:06
  so
• 10:06
  much
• 10:06
  more
• 10:06
  about
• 10:06
  this
• 10:07
  world.
• 10:07
  And
• 10:07
  we
• 10:07
  have,
• 10:08
  as
• 10:08
  we
• 10:08
  were
• 10:08
  talking
• 10:09
  about
• 10:09
  right
• 10:09
  before
• 10:09
  recording,
• 10:10
  each
• 10:10
  season
• 10:11
  corresponds
• 10:11
  with
• 10:12
  a
• 10:12
  different
• 10:12
  holiday.
• 10:13
  So
• 10:13
  as
• 10:13
  Laura
• 10:14
  talked
• 10:14
  about,
• 10:14
  season
• 10:14
  one
• 10:15
  is
• 10:15
  very
• 10:15
  near
• 10:15
  Thanksgiving.
• 10:16
  And
• 10:16
  then
• 10:16
  Christmas.
• 10:17
  Season
• 10:18
  two
• 10:18
  is
• 10:18
  very
• 10:18
  revolved
• 10:19
  around
• 10:19
  Halloween.
• 10:20
  Season
• 10:20
  three
• 10:21
  very
• 10:21
  revolved
• 10:22
  around
• 10:22
  July
• 10:22
  4th.
• 10:23
  And
• 10:23
  then
• 10:24
  season
• 10:24
  four
• 10:24
  takes
• 10:25
  place
• 10:25
  over
• 10:25
  spring
• 10:25
  break.
• 10:26
  And
• 10:26
  so
• 10:26
  we
• 10:27
  see
• 10:27
  all
• 10:27
  these
• 10:27
  elements
• 10:28
  come
• 10:28
  together.
• 10:28
  We
• 10:28
  see
• 10:29
  influences
• 10:30
  from
• 10:31
  different
• 10:31
  80s
• 10:31
  eras
• 10:32
  of
• 10:32
  pop
• 10:32
  culture.
• 10:33
  So
• 10:33
  season
• 10:33
  one
• 10:34
  is
• 10:34
  very
• 10:34
  influenced
• 10:35
  by
• 10:35
  Spielberg,
• 10:36
  et
• 10:37
  Goonies.
• 10:38
  And
• 10:39
  then
• 10:39
  by
• 10:39
  the
• 10:39
  time
• 10:39
  we
• 10:39
  get
• 10:40
  to
• 10:40
  season
• 10:40
  four,
• 10:40
  we
• 10:40
  get
• 10:41
  a
• 10:41
  lot
• 10:41
  more
• 10:41
  Stephen
• 10:41
  King
• 10:42
  and
• 10:42
  horror
• 10:42
  influence.
• 10:43
  So
• 10:43
  it's
• 10:43
  as
• 10:43
  much
• 10:44
  a
• 10:44
  hybrid
• 10:44
  and
• 10:44
  a
• 10:44
  love
• 10:45
  letter
• 10:45
  to
• 10:46
  the
• 10:46
  pop
• 10:46
  culture
• 10:47
  that
• 10:47
  the
• 10:47
  Duffer
• 10:48
  Brothers
• 10:48
  grew
• 10:48
  up
• 10:48
  with.
• 10:49
  And
• 10:49
  it
• 10:49
  also
• 10:49
  modernizes
• 10:50
  it
• 10:50
  and
• 10:51
  brings
• 10:51
  it
• 10:51
  into
• 10:52
  something
• 10:52
  that,
• 10:52
  like
• 10:53
  you
• 10:53
  said,
• 10:53
  well,
• 10:53
  that
• 10:54
  your
• 10:54
  kids
• 10:54
  can
• 10:55
  really
• 10:56
  easily
• 10:56
  enjoy
• 10:57
  and
• 10:57
  digest.
• 10:57
  And
• 10:58
  it
• 10:58
  means
• 10:58
  as
• 10:58
  much
• 10:59
  to
• 10:59
  them
• 10:59
  as
• 10:59
  it
• 10:59
  does
• 11:00
  to
• 11:00
  you
• 11:00
  that
• 11:00
  you
• 11:00
  were
• 11:01
  growing
• 11:01
  up
• 11:01
  on
• 11:02
  the
• 11:02
  movies
• 11:02
  and
• 11:02
  music
• 11:03
  that
• 11:03
  heavily
• 11:04
  influenced
• 11:04
  the
• 11:04
  show.
• 11:05
  Nicely
• 11:06
  done.
• 11:06
  So
• 11:06
  then
• 11:06
  they
• 11:06
  turn
• 11:07
  the
• 11:07
  corner
• 11:07
  and
• 11:07
  they
• 11:07
  like,
• 11:08
  thanks,
• 11:08
  Kevin,
• 11:08
  and
• 11:09
  they
• 11:09
  go
• 11:09
  into
• 11:09
  their
• 11:10
  hotel
• 11:10
  room,
• 11:10
  and
• 11:11
  I'm
• 11:11
  sitting
• 11:11
  on
• 11:11
  their
• 11:11
  bed
• 11:12
  going,
• 11:12
  oh,
• 11:12
  do
• 11:12
  you
• 11:12
  want
• 11:13
  to
• 11:13
  learn
• 11:13
  more
• 11:13
  about
• 11:14
  Stranger
• 11:14
  Things.
• 11:15
  I
• 11:15
  have
• 11:15
  a
• 11:15
  D
• 11:15
  and
• 11:15
  D
• 11:16
  set
• 11:16
  out
• 11:16
  and
• 11:17
  I'm
• 11:17
  like,
• 11:17
  we're
• 11:17
  going
• 11:17
  to
• 11:17
  play
• 11:18
  D
• 11:18
  and
• 11:18
  D.
• 11:18
  I'm
• 11:18
  going
• 11:18
  to
• 11:18
  roll
• 11:19
  some
• 11:19
  dice.
• 11:19
  And
• 11:19
  let
• 11:20
  me
• 11:20
  tell
• 11:20
  you
• 11:20
  about
• 11:20
  80s
• 11:21
  Cold
• 11:21
  War
• 11:21
  culture
• 11:22
  with,
• 11:22
  with
• 11:22
  Russia
• 11:23
  and
• 11:23
  US
• 11:24
  and
• 11:25
  there's
• 11:25
  this
• 11:25
  underground
• 11:26
  conspiracy
• 11:26
  of
• 11:27
  this.
• 11:27
  They're
• 11:27
  experimenting
• 11:28
  on
• 11:28
  kids
• 11:29
  and
• 11:29
  this
• 11:29
  person
• 11:30
  then
• 11:30
  calls
• 11:30
  the
• 11:30
  cops,
• 11:30
  go
• 11:31
  like,
• 11:31
  why
• 11:31
  are
• 11:31
  you
• 11:31
  in
• 11:31
  my
• 11:31
  room?
• 11:31
  I
• 11:31
  don't
• 11:32
  know
• 11:32
  who
• 11:32
  you
• 11:32
  are.
• 11:32
  And
• 11:32
  so
• 11:32
  I
• 11:33
  get
• 11:33
  kicked
• 11:33
  out
• 11:33
  and
• 11:33
  I
• 11:33
  get
• 11:34
  arrested.
• 11:34
  So
• 11:34
  call
• 11:35
  security.
• 11:35
  If
• 11:35
  that
• 11:36
  happens,
• 11:36
  they
• 11:36
  call
• 11:37
  security.
• 11:37
  And
• 11:37
  when.
• 11:39
  And
• 11:39
  then
• 11:39
  when
• 11:39
  they
• 11:40
  call
• 11:40
  security,
• 11:40
  this
• 11:40
  guy
• 11:41
  named
• 11:41
  Hopper
• 11:41
  shows
• 11:42
  up.
• 11:42
  It's
• 11:42
  like,
• 11:42
  what
• 11:42
  is
• 11:43
  going
• 11:43
  on
• 11:43
  here?
• 11:44
  And
• 11:44
  he's
• 11:44
  got
• 11:44
  a
• 11:44
  coffee
• 11:45
  cup
• 11:45
  that
• 11:45
  says
• 11:46
  like
• 11:47
  morning
• 11:47
  is
• 11:47
  morning
• 11:49
  contemplating
• 11:50
  coffee
• 11:51
  and
• 11:51
  contemplation.
• 11:52
  Mornings
• 11:53
  are
• 11:53
  for
• 11:54
  contemplation.
• 11:55
  Yeah.
• 11:56
  So
• 11:56
  a
• 11:57
  cop
• 11:57
  shows
• 11:57
  up
• 11:57
  and
• 11:57
  takes
• 11:57
  me
• 11:58
  away.
• 11:59
  And
• 11:59
  then
• 11:59
  there's
• 11:59
  the
• 12:00
  end
• 12:00
  of
• 12:00
  our
• 12:00
  show,
• 12:00
  y'all.
• 12:01
  I'm
• 12:01
  arrested.
• 12:01
  And
• 12:02
  the
• 12:02
  rest
• 12:02
  of.
• 12:03
  We
• 12:03
  had
• 12:03
  to
• 12:03
  do
• 12:03
  a
• 12:03
  gofundme
• 12:04
  to
• 12:04
  get
• 12:04
  me
• 12:04
  out
• 12:04
  of
• 12:05
  prison.
• 12:05
  No.
• 12:06
  But
• 12:07
  yeah,
• 12:07
  they
• 12:07
  explained
• 12:07
  it
• 12:08
  great.
• 12:08
  And
• 12:08
  that
• 12:08
  is
• 12:09
  each
• 12:09
  of
• 12:09
  these
• 12:09
  seasons
• 12:10
  is
• 12:10
  a
• 12:10
  coming
• 12:11
  of
• 12:11
  age
• 12:11
  story
• 12:12
  with
• 12:12
  these
• 12:12
  kids
• 12:13
  that
• 12:13
  you
• 12:13
  really
• 12:13
  kind
• 12:13
  of
• 12:13
  start
• 12:14
  off
• 12:14
  in
• 12:14
  the
• 12:14
  kids
• 12:15
  basement
• 12:15
  with
• 12:15
  them
• 12:15
  playing
• 12:15
  D
• 12:16
  and
• 12:16
  D
• 12:16
  and
• 12:16
  adventure.
• 12:17
  They
• 12:17
  don't
• 12:17
  have
• 12:17
  phones
• 12:18
  yet,
• 12:18
  they
• 12:18
  don't
• 12:18
  have
• 12:18
  computers,
• 12:19
  they
• 12:19
  don't
• 12:19
  have
• 12:19
  the
• 12:20
  Internet.
• 12:20
  They
• 12:20
  just
• 12:21
  have
• 12:21
  their
• 12:21
  bikes
• 12:21
  and
• 12:22
  their
• 12:22
  friendships
• 12:22
  and
• 12:22
  their
• 12:23
  imaginations.
• 12:24
  And
• 12:24
  so
• 12:24
  there's
• 12:25
  this
• 12:25
  call
• 12:25
  to
• 12:25
  adventure
• 12:27
  among
• 12:27
  their
• 12:27
  friend
• 12:28
  group.
• 12:28
  But
• 12:28
  then
• 12:28
  you
• 12:28
  have
• 12:29
  the
• 12:29
  older
• 12:29
  siblings
• 12:30
  who
• 12:30
  are
• 12:30
  wrestling
• 12:30
  with
• 12:31
  high
• 12:31
  school,
• 12:31
  not
• 12:31
  just
• 12:32
  middle
• 12:32
  school
• 12:32
  or
• 12:33
  late
• 12:33
  elementary
• 12:33
  school,
• 12:34
  growing
• 12:34
  up
• 12:34
  and
• 12:34
  middle
• 12:35
  school,
• 12:35
  but
• 12:35
  also
• 12:35
  their
• 12:35
  older
• 12:36
  siblings
• 12:36
  who
• 12:36
  are
• 12:36
  in
• 12:36
  high
• 12:37
  school.
• 12:37
  They're
• 12:37
  wrestling
• 12:38
  with
• 12:38
  coming
• 12:38
  of
• 12:38
  age
• 12:39
  and
• 12:39
  what
• 12:39
  it
• 12:39
  means
• 12:39
  to
• 12:39
  grow
• 12:40
  up
• 12:40
  and
• 12:41
  those
• 12:41
  kinds
• 12:41
  of
• 12:41
  things.
• 12:42
  And
• 12:43
  the
• 12:43
  whole
• 12:43
  backdrop
• 12:44
  and
• 12:44
  context
• 12:44
  is
• 12:44
  this
• 12:44
  kind
• 12:45
  of
• 12:45
  80s
• 12:45
  Cold
• 12:46
  War
• 12:46
  era
• 12:47
  government
• 12:47
  conspiracy,
• 12:48
  but
• 12:48
  also
• 12:48
  this
• 12:49
  supernatural
• 12:50
  horror,
• 12:52
  sci
• 12:53
  fi
• 12:53
  element
• 12:54
  to
• 12:54
  these,
• 12:56
  to
• 12:56
  what's
• 12:57
  going
• 12:57
  on
• 12:57
  around
• 12:57
  them.
• 12:58
  And
• 12:58
  yeah,
• 12:58
  it's
• 12:58
  just
• 12:59
  an
• 12:59
  incredible
• 12:59
  adventure
• 13:00
  and
• 13:00
  the
• 13:00
  soundtrack
• 13:02
  and
• 13:02
  the
• 13:02
  score
• 13:03
  and
• 13:03
  the
• 13:04
  font
• 13:04
  that
• 13:04
  they
• 13:04
  use
• 13:05
  to
• 13:05
  show
• 13:05
  what
• 13:06
  town
• 13:06
  they're
• 13:06
  in
• 13:07
  or
• 13:08
  project
• 13:08
  stranger
• 13:09
  things
• 13:09
  of
• 13:09
  it.
• 13:10
  There's
• 13:10
  strange
• 13:10
  things
• 13:10
  that
• 13:11
  happen
• 13:11
  in
• 13:11
  the
• 13:12
  show
• 13:12
  for
• 13:12
  four
• 13:12
  season.
• 13:13
  They
• 13:13
  just
• 13:13
  ramp
• 13:13
  it
• 13:13
  up
• 13:14
  after
• 13:14
  every
• 13:15
  season.
• 13:15
  So
• 13:16
  I
• 13:17
  just
• 13:17
  adore
• 13:18
  this
• 13:18
  show
• 13:18
  and
• 13:19
  love
• 13:19
  it
• 13:19
  so
• 13:20
  much
• 13:20
  and
• 13:20
  looking
• 13:21
  forward
• 13:21
  to
• 13:21
  see
• 13:21
  how
• 13:21
  they
• 13:21
  land
• 13:22
  this
• 13:22
  plane
• 13:22
  with
• 13:22
  season
• 13:22
  five.
• 13:23
  It
• 13:24
  better
• 13:24
  be
• 13:24
  good.
• 13:24
  And
• 13:25
  also,
• 13:25
  oh
• 13:26
  my
• 13:26
  gosh,
• 13:26
  there's
• 13:26
  so
• 13:27
  much
• 13:27
  anticipation.
• 13:28
  They've
• 13:28
  got
• 13:28
  to
• 13:28
  stick
• 13:28
  the
• 13:29
  landing.
• 13:29
  But
• 13:29
  also
• 13:30
  one
• 13:30
  thing
• 13:30
  other
• 13:30
  I
• 13:30
  want
• 13:31
  to
• 13:31
  add
• 13:31
  to
• 13:31
  Laura,
• 13:31
  since
• 13:32
  you
• 13:32
  were
• 13:32
  talking
• 13:32
  about
• 13:32
  the
• 13:33
  parent
• 13:33
  angle
• 13:33
  there
• 13:33
  too
• 13:34
  is
• 13:34
  you
• 13:34
  Know,
• 13:34
  a
• 13:35
  lot
• 13:35
  of
• 13:35
  the
• 13:35
  coming
• 13:36
  of
• 13:36
  age
• 13:36
  stories
• 13:36
  that
• 13:37
  inspire
• 13:37
  changing
• 13:37
  things
• 13:38
  are
• 13:38
  so
• 13:38
  focused
• 13:39
  on
• 13:39
  the
• 13:39
  kids,
• 13:39
  and
• 13:40
  the
• 13:40
  adults
• 13:41
  are
• 13:41
  kind
• 13:41
  of
• 13:41
  absent
• 13:41
  in
• 13:41
  a
• 13:42
  lot
• 13:42
  of
• 13:42
  those.
• 13:42
  Like,
• 13:42
  you
• 13:43
  look
• 13:43
  at
• 13:43
  Goonies
• 13:43
  like
• 13:43
  they're
• 13:43
  on.
• 13:44
  The
• 13:44
  parents
• 13:44
  are
• 13:44
  just
• 13:44
  like,
• 13:44
  not
• 13:45
  there.
• 13:45
  There
• 13:45
  is.
• 13:46
  You
• 13:46
  know,
• 13:46
  obviously
• 13:47
  the
• 13:47
  kids
• 13:47
  in
• 13:48
  the
• 13:48
  show
• 13:48
  are
• 13:49
  primary
• 13:49
  characters.
• 13:49
  But
• 13:50
  one
• 13:50
  of
• 13:50
  the
• 13:50
  things
• 13:50
  that's
• 13:50
  really
• 13:51
  interesting
• 13:51
  about
• 13:51
  change
• 13:51
  of
• 13:52
  things
• 13:52
  and
• 13:52
  actually
• 13:53
  made
• 13:53
  it
• 13:53
  hard
• 13:53
  for
• 13:53
  the
• 13:54
  Duffer
• 13:54
  brothers
• 13:54
  to
• 13:54
  pitch
• 13:55
  is
• 13:55
  that
• 13:55
  there's
• 13:55
  as
• 13:56
  much
• 13:56
  focus
• 13:56
  on
• 13:57
  some
• 13:57
  of
• 13:57
  the
• 13:57
  adult
• 13:58
  characters
• 13:58
  as
• 13:58
  there
• 13:58
  are
• 13:58
  the
• 13:59
  kids.
• 13:59
  And
• 13:59
  so
• 13:59
  you're
• 14:00
  able
• 14:00
  to
• 14:00
  play
• 14:00
  tell
• 14:01
  they
• 14:02
  with
• 14:02
  Hopper,
• 14:03
  who
• 14:03
  is
• 14:03
  Will
• 14:04
  was
• 14:04
  mentioning
• 14:04
  as
• 14:04
  the
• 14:05
  sheriff
• 14:05
  of
• 14:05
  the
• 14:05
  town,
• 14:06
  who
• 14:06
  becomes
• 14:07
  one
• 14:07
  of
• 14:07
  the
• 14:07
  prime
• 14:07
  characters,
• 14:08
  one
• 14:08
  of
• 14:08
  a
• 14:08
  fan
• 14:08
  favorite,
• 14:09
  along
• 14:09
  with
• 14:10
  Joyce,
• 14:11
  who
• 14:11
  is
• 14:11
  one
• 14:12
  of
• 14:12
  the
• 14:13
  mom
• 14:13
  of
• 14:13
  two
• 14:13
  of
• 14:13
  the
• 14:14
  main
• 14:14
  kid
• 14:14
  characters
• 14:15
  in
• 14:15
  the
• 14:15
  show.
• 14:16
  That's
• 14:16
  one
• 14:16
  of
• 14:16
  the
• 14:16
  things
• 14:16
  that
• 14:17
  makes
• 14:17
  it
• 14:17
  so
• 14:17
  interesting
• 14:17
  is
• 14:17
  the
• 14:18
  generational
• 14:18
  aspects.
• 14:19
  And
• 14:19
  you
• 14:20
  get
• 14:20
  to
• 14:20
  see
• 14:20
  kids,
• 14:21
  teenagers
• 14:21
  and
• 14:22
  adults
• 14:22
  all
• 14:22
  play
• 14:23
  a
• 14:23
  very
• 14:23
  active
• 14:23
  role
• 14:23
  in
• 14:24
  the
• 14:24
  story.
• 14:24
  Yeah,
• 14:25
  well,
• 14:25
  and
• 14:25
  I
• 14:25
  think
• 14:25
  the
• 14:26
  truth
• 14:26
  is
• 14:26
  they
• 14:27
  have
• 14:27
  to
• 14:27
  do
• 14:27
  that,
• 14:28
  because
• 14:28
  the
• 14:28
  truth
• 14:29
  is
• 14:29
  that
• 14:30
  this
• 14:30
  story
• 14:30
  and
• 14:31
  the
• 14:31
  way
• 14:31
  it's
• 14:31
  written
• 14:31
  is
• 14:31
  a
• 14:32
  love
• 14:32
  letter
• 14:32
  to
• 14:32
  Gen
• 14:33
  X
• 14:33
  and
• 14:33
  millennials.
• 14:34
  Right.
• 14:34
  And
• 14:35
  so
• 14:35
  you
• 14:35
  have
• 14:35
  to
• 14:35
  include
• 14:36
  our
• 14:36
  age
• 14:36
  now
• 14:37
  into
• 14:37
  the
• 14:37
  characters,
• 14:38
  because
• 14:38
  it
• 14:38
  was
• 14:38
  our
• 14:39
  age
• 14:39
  that
• 14:39
  it
• 14:39
  was
• 14:39
  appealing
• 14:40
  to
• 14:40
  in
• 14:40
  the
• 14:40
  80s,
• 14:41
  and
• 14:41
  it's
• 14:42
  going
• 14:42
  to
• 14:42
  be
• 14:42
  our
• 14:42
  age
• 14:42
  that
• 14:43
  it
• 14:43
  appeals
• 14:43
  to
• 14:44
  now.
• 14:44
  So,
• 14:45
  like,
• 14:45
  it's
• 14:46
  a.
• 14:46
  It's
• 14:46
  a.
• 14:46
  It's
• 14:46
  a
• 14:46
  nod.
• 14:47
  Yeah.
• 14:48
  I
• 14:48
  also
• 14:48
  have
• 14:49
  to
• 14:49
  mention
• 14:49
  that
• 14:50
  I
• 14:50
  named
• 14:51
  my
• 14:51
  dog
• 14:51
  after
• 14:52
  Hopper.
• 14:52
  So
• 14:52
  I
• 14:53
  have
• 14:53
  a
• 14:53
  little
• 14:53
  Chihuahua
• 14:54
  named
• 14:54
  Hopper.
• 14:55
  Hash
• 14:55
  browns.
• 14:56
  And
• 14:56
  he
• 14:56
  is
• 14:57
  the
• 14:57
  best
• 14:57
  dog
• 14:57
  in
• 14:57
  the
• 14:58
  world.
• 14:58
  So
• 14:58
  nice.
• 14:59
  Does
• 14:59
  he
• 15:00
  have
• 15:00
  a
• 15:00
  shirt
• 15:00
  that
• 15:00
  says
• 15:00
  the
• 15:01
  mornings
• 15:01
  are
• 15:01
  for
• 15:01
  coffee
• 15:02
  and
• 15:02
  contemplation?
• 15:02
  That's
• 15:03
  a
• 15:03
  shirt.
• 15:03
  That
• 15:04
  little
• 15:04
  Hopper.
• 15:05
  Ah,
• 15:05
  I
• 15:05
  need
• 15:05
  to
• 15:05
  meet
• 15:05
  your
• 15:06
  dog.
• 15:06
  That's
• 15:06
  fun.
• 15:07
  Super,
• 15:07
  super
• 15:07
  fun.
• 15:08
  That's
• 15:08
  how
• 15:09
  much
• 15:09
  we
• 15:09
  love
• 15:09
  this
• 15:09
  show
• 15:09
  because
• 15:10
  I
• 15:10
  named
• 15:10
  our
• 15:10
  dog
• 15:11
  after
• 15:11
  him
• 15:11
  immediately.
• 15:12
  So,
• 15:12
  yeah,
• 15:13
  I
• 15:13
  mean,
• 15:13
  there's
• 15:13
  definitely.
• 15:14
  I
• 15:14
  know
• 15:15
  this
• 15:15
  episode
• 15:15
  isn't
• 15:15
  on
• 15:15
  YouTube,
• 15:16
  but
• 15:16
  you
• 15:16
  can
• 15:16
  see
• 15:16
  some
• 15:16
  of
• 15:16
  my
• 15:17
  Stranger
• 15:17
  Things
• 15:17
  Merc
• 15:18
  in
• 15:18
  the
• 15:18
  background.
• 15:19
  I've
• 15:19
  got
• 15:19
  a
• 15:19
  upside
• 15:20
  down
• 15:20
  poster
• 15:21
  and
• 15:21
  then
• 15:21
  a
• 15:21
  Hopper
• 15:22
  action
• 15:22
  figure.
• 15:23
  I
• 15:24
  need
• 15:24
  all
• 15:24
  behind
• 15:24
  me.
• 15:24
  I
• 15:25
  need
• 15:25
  that.
• 15:25
  Yeah,
• 15:25
  it
• 15:25
  was
• 15:26
  definitely
• 15:26
  Christmas
• 15:26
  where
• 15:27
  like,
• 15:27
  the
• 15:27
  kiddos,
• 15:28
  like,
• 15:28
  for
• 15:28
  Christmas
• 15:29
  got
• 15:29
  a
• 15:29
  bunch
• 15:29
  of
• 15:29
  Stranger
• 15:30
  Things
• 15:30
  merch
• 15:30
  and
• 15:31
  posters
• 15:32
  and
• 15:32
  to
• 15:32
  put
• 15:32
  on
• 15:32
  their
• 15:32
  walls
• 15:33
  and
• 15:33
  T
• 15:34
  shirts
• 15:34
  and
• 15:35
  soundtracks,
• 15:35
  all
• 15:36
  that
• 15:36
  stuff,
• 15:36
  because
• 15:36
  it
• 15:37
  was
• 15:37
  just,
• 15:37
  you
• 15:37
  know,
• 15:37
  it
• 15:38
  was
• 15:38
  so
• 15:39
  much
• 15:39
  fun.
• 15:39
  All
• 15:40
  right,
• 15:40
  so
• 15:40
  as
• 15:40
  we
• 15:41
  got
• 15:41
  to
• 15:41
  stay
• 15:41
  focused,
• 15:41
  I
• 15:41
  wish
• 15:42
  we
• 15:42
  could
• 15:42
  pick
• 15:43
  apart
• 15:43
  every
• 15:43
  single
• 15:43
  season,
• 15:44
  talk
• 15:44
  about
• 15:44
  every
• 15:44
  single
• 15:44
  character,
• 15:45
  and
• 15:45
  talk
• 15:45
  about
• 15:46
  the
• 15:46
  intersection
• 15:47
  of
• 15:49
  the
• 15:50
  politics
• 15:51
  and
• 15:51
  the
• 15:51
  faith
• 15:51
  and
• 15:52
  friendship.
• 15:52
  And
• 15:54
  we
• 15:54
  don't
• 15:54
  lie
• 15:54
  to
• 15:54
  each
• 15:55
  other.
• 15:55
  We
• 15:55
  tell
• 15:55
  the
• 15:55
  truth.
• 15:56
  Right.
• 15:57
  And
• 15:57
  so
• 15:57
  all
• 15:58
  those
• 15:58
  things
• 15:59
  that
• 16:00
  are
• 16:00
  part
• 16:00
  of
• 16:00
  the
• 16:00
  show.
• 16:01
  But
• 16:01
  since
• 16:01
  we're
• 16:01
  a
• 16:02
  short
• 16:02
  amount
• 16:02
  of
• 16:02
  time,
• 16:03
  we
• 16:03
  do
• 16:03
  encourage
• 16:03
  people
• 16:03
  to
• 16:04
  go
• 16:04
  watch
• 16:04
  this,
• 16:04
  binge
• 16:04
  it,
• 16:05
  especially
• 16:05
  for
• 16:05
  this
• 16:05
  next
• 16:05
  season.
• 16:06
  What
• 16:06
  is.
• 16:06
  All
• 16:07
  right,
• 16:07
  we're
• 16:07
  going
• 16:07
  to
• 16:07
  kind
• 16:07
  of
• 16:07
  go
• 16:07
  through.
• 16:08
  We're
• 16:08
  going
• 16:08
  to
• 16:08
  talk
• 16:08
  about
• 16:09
  our
• 16:09
  favorite
• 16:11
  season,
• 16:12
  our
• 16:12
  favorite
• 16:13
  character,
• 16:14
  favorite
• 16:14
  pop
• 16:15
  culture
• 16:15
  reference,
• 16:16
  and
• 16:16
  perhaps
• 16:17
  your
• 16:17
  favorite
• 16:18
  80s
• 16:20
  favorite
• 16:20
  80s
• 16:21
  song
• 16:21
  that's
• 16:21
  used.
• 16:22
  And
• 16:22
  so
• 16:22
  we're
• 16:22
  going
• 16:22
  to
• 16:22
  kind
• 16:22
  of
• 16:23
  Quick
• 16:23
  hits.
• 16:24
  Favorite
• 16:24
  season,
• 16:24
  character,
• 16:25
  pop
• 16:25
  culture
• 16:26
  reference.
• 16:27
  And
• 16:28
  so
• 16:29
  first
• 16:29
  favorite
• 16:29
  season.
• 16:29
  We'll
• 16:29
  go
• 16:30
  around
• 16:30
  the
• 16:30
  horn.
• 16:30
  Laura,
• 16:30
  go
• 16:30
  first.
• 16:31
  Favorite
• 16:31
  season.
• 16:31
  Okay.
• 16:32
  Favorite
• 16:32
  season
• 16:33
  is
• 16:34
  season
• 16:34
  two.
• 16:35
  Because
• 16:35
  I'm
• 16:36
  a
• 16:36
  huge
• 16:36
  Ghostbusters
• 16:37
  fan.
• 16:37
  We
• 16:38
  have
• 16:38
  more
• 16:38
  proton
• 16:38
  packs
• 16:39
  at
• 16:39
  our
• 16:39
  house
• 16:39
  than
• 16:40
  any
• 16:40
  human
• 16:41
  being
• 16:41
  should.
• 16:41
  And
• 16:41
  I
• 16:41
  mean,
• 16:42
  like
• 16:42
  real.
• 16:42
  We
• 16:42
  built
• 16:43
  some
• 16:43
  proton
• 16:43
  packs.
• 16:45
  So
• 16:45
  when
• 16:45
  they
• 16:45
  did
• 16:45
  a
• 16:46
  whole
• 16:46
  Ghostbusters
• 16:46
  thing,
• 16:47
  that
• 16:47
  was.
• 16:47
  Yeah,
• 16:48
  that
• 16:48
  was
• 16:48
  our
• 16:48
  life.
• 16:49
  We
• 16:49
  ran
• 16:49
  for
• 16:49
  it.
• 16:49
  So,
• 16:50
  Laura.
• 16:51
  But
• 16:51
  I
• 16:51
  also
• 16:51
  have
• 16:51
  a
• 16:51
  strong
• 16:51
  love
• 16:52
  for
• 16:52
  season
• 16:52
  three.
• 16:53
  So.
• 16:53
  Yeah,
• 16:53
  Laura,
• 16:54
  you
• 16:54
  get
• 16:54
  cooler
• 16:54
  and
• 16:54
  cooler
• 16:54
  every
• 16:55
  time
• 16:55
  I
• 16:55
  talk
• 16:55
  to
• 16:55
  you.
• 16:55
  Yeah,
• 16:55
  I'm
• 16:56
  with
• 16:56
  you.
• 16:56
  I
• 16:56
  think
• 16:56
  that
• 16:56
  anticipation
• 16:57
  and
• 16:57
  the
• 16:58
  trailer,
• 16:59
  because
• 16:59
  I'm
• 16:59
  a
• 16:59
  big.
• 16:59
  I
• 16:59
  like
• 17:00
  Halloween.
• 17:00
  I
• 17:00
  like
• 17:01
  Michael
• 17:02
  Jackson
• 17:02
  thrillers,
• 17:02
  one
• 17:02
  of
• 17:02
  my
• 17:03
  favorite
• 17:03
  songs
• 17:03
  of
• 17:03
  all
• 17:03
  time.
• 17:03
  And
• 17:04
  incorporated
• 17:04
  like
• 17:04
  that
• 17:05
  for
• 17:05
  the
• 17:05
  trailer
• 17:05
  and
• 17:06
  led
• 17:06
  into
• 17:06
  Ghostbusters.
• 17:07
  That
• 17:07
  and
• 17:08
  them
• 17:08
  going
• 17:08
  out
• 17:08
  and
• 17:08
  trick
• 17:08
  or
• 17:09
  treating
• 17:09
  and
• 17:10
  when
• 17:10
  are
• 17:10
  you
• 17:10
  too
• 17:10
  old
• 17:10
  to
• 17:10
  trick
• 17:11
  or
• 17:11
  treat
• 17:11
  or
• 17:11
  not
• 17:11
  and
• 17:11
  be
• 17:12
  kids
• 17:12
  or
• 17:12
  not
• 17:12
  like
• 17:13
  that.
• 17:14
  Season
• 17:14
  two
• 17:14
  is
• 17:14
  so
• 17:14
  good.
• 17:14
  I
• 17:15
  agree.
• 17:15
  The
• 17:15
  anticipation.
• 17:16
  Season.
• 17:16
  Season
• 17:16
  one
• 17:17
  was
• 17:17
  great,
• 17:17
  but
• 17:17
  season
• 17:17
  two,
• 17:18
  loved
• 17:18
  it.
• 17:19
  Kevin,
• 17:19
  how
• 17:19
  about
• 17:19
  you?
• 17:20
  If
• 17:20
  you
• 17:20
  had
• 17:20
  asked
• 17:21
  me
• 17:21
  a
• 17:21
  couple
• 17:21
  years
• 17:21
  ago,
• 17:21
  I
• 17:21
  would
• 17:21
  have
• 17:22
  said
• 17:22
  season
• 17:22
  two,
• 17:22
  and
• 17:22
  I
• 17:23
  still
• 17:23
  love
• 17:23
  that
• 17:23
  season
• 17:24
  because
• 17:24
  I
• 17:24
  love
• 17:24
  all
• 17:25
  Ghostbusters
• 17:25
  and
• 17:26
  all
• 17:26
  the
• 17:26
  Halloween
• 17:27
  elements.
• 17:28
  But
• 17:28
  I
• 17:29
  actually.
• 17:29
  And
• 17:29
  it's
• 17:30
  funny
• 17:30
  because
• 17:30
  when
• 17:31
  I
• 17:31
  first
• 17:31
  saw
• 17:31
  the
• 17:31
  season,
• 17:32
  I
• 17:32
  was
• 17:32
  a
• 17:32
  little
• 17:32
  iffy
• 17:33
  on
• 17:33
  it
• 17:33
  because
• 17:33
  I
• 17:33
  thought
• 17:34
  it
• 17:34
  was
• 17:34
  a
• 17:34
  little
• 17:34
  too
• 17:34
  long.
• 17:35
  But
• 17:35
  the
• 17:35
  more
• 17:35
  I
• 17:35
  watch,
• 17:36
  I'm
• 17:36
  like,
• 17:36
  gosh,
• 17:37
  this
• 17:37
  is
• 17:37
  so
• 17:37
  epic.
• 17:38
  Season
• 17:38
  four,
• 17:38
  the
• 17:38
  most
• 17:39
  recent,
• 17:40
  partly
• 17:40
  because
• 17:40
  I
• 17:41
  had
• 17:41
  some
• 17:41
  of
• 17:41
  my
• 17:41
  favorite
• 17:41
  characters.
• 17:42
  I
• 17:42
  love
• 17:42
  the
• 17:43
  arcs.
• 17:43
  I
• 17:43
  just
• 17:43
  love
• 17:44
  how
• 17:44
  they
• 17:44
  built
• 17:45
  so
• 17:45
  much
• 17:45
  momentum
• 17:45
  and
• 17:46
  stakes
• 17:46
  in
• 17:46
  that.
• 17:46
  And
• 17:47
  like
• 17:47
  I
• 17:47
  said,
• 17:48
  introduced
• 17:48
  a
• 17:48
  lot
• 17:48
  more
• 17:48
  of
• 17:49
  the
• 17:49
  horror
• 17:49
  elements
• 17:50
  that
• 17:50
  were
• 17:50
  still
• 17:50
  present
• 17:51
  from
• 17:51
  the
• 17:51
  beginning,
• 17:51
  but
• 17:52
  really
• 17:52
  zeroed
• 17:52
  in
• 17:52
  on
• 17:53
  those
• 17:53
  in
• 17:53
  season
• 17:53
  four.
• 17:54
  And
• 17:54
  it
• 17:55
  is
• 17:55
  just
• 17:55
  breathtaking.
• 17:57
  The
• 17:57
  action
• 17:57
  sequences
• 17:58
  in
• 17:58
  that
• 17:59
  season,
• 17:59
  everything
• 18:00
  they
• 18:00
  pull
• 18:00
  off
• 18:01
  that
• 18:01
  it's.
• 18:01
  You're
• 18:01
  watching
• 18:02
  it.
• 18:02
  You're
• 18:02
  like,
• 18:02
  this
• 18:02
  is
• 18:02
  a
• 18:03
  show.
• 18:03
  Like,
• 18:03
  this
• 18:04
  is
• 18:04
  like.
• 18:04
  I
• 18:04
  mean,
• 18:05
  it's
• 18:05
  like
• 18:05
  you
• 18:05
  get
• 18:05
  a
• 18:06
  movie,
• 18:06
  an
• 18:06
  episode,
• 18:07
  and
• 18:08
  I
• 18:08
  mean,
• 18:08
  Like,
• 18:09
  I
• 18:09
  saw
• 18:09
  my
• 18:09
  gripes,
• 18:10
  but,
• 18:10
  like,
• 18:10
  they're
• 18:10
  more
• 18:11
  nitpicky
• 18:11
  at
• 18:11
  this
• 18:11
  point.
• 18:12
  I
• 18:12
  really
• 18:12
  love
• 18:12
  the
• 18:12
  emotional
• 18:13
  journey
• 18:13
  of
• 18:13
  that
• 18:14
  season
• 18:14
  and
• 18:15
  just
• 18:15
  how
• 18:15
  big
• 18:15
  of
• 18:15
  bombastic
• 18:16
  it
• 18:16
  gets.
• 18:17
  So
• 18:17
  I
• 18:18
  really
• 18:18
  love
• 18:18
  that
• 18:18
  one.
• 18:19
  The
• 18:19
  whole
• 18:19
  use
• 18:19
  of
• 18:19
  Metallica,
• 18:20
  master
• 18:20
  of
• 18:20
  puppets
• 18:20
  and
• 18:21
  that
• 18:21
  come
• 18:21
  on.
• 18:22
  So
• 18:23
  good
• 18:23
  in
• 18:23
  the
• 18:23
  world.
• 18:24
  Yeah.
• 18:25
  Good,
• 18:25
  Good
• 18:25
  call.
• 18:25
  Good
• 18:25
  poll.
• 18:26
  Yeah.
• 18:26
  So
• 18:26
  two
• 18:26
  season
• 18:27
  twos
• 18:27
  and
• 18:28
  season
• 18:28
  four.
• 18:28
  Four.
• 18:29
  Who
• 18:29
  knows?
• 18:29
  By
• 18:29
  the
• 18:29
  end
• 18:29
  of
• 18:30
  this,
• 18:30
  we
• 18:30
  might
• 18:30
  all
• 18:30
  say
• 18:30
  season
• 18:31
  five.
• 18:31
  Laura.
• 18:31
  All
• 18:31
  right,
• 18:32
  favorite
• 18:32
  character?
• 18:33
  Hopper.
• 18:34
  That's
• 18:34
  easy,
• 18:35
  easy,
• 18:35
  easy.
• 18:36
  Shout
• 18:37
  out
• 18:37
  to
• 18:37
  Hopper.
• 18:38
  Hash
• 18:39
  browns
• 18:39
  as
• 18:39
  well.
• 18:40
  Yeah,
• 18:40
  Hopper.
• 18:41
  Hopper.
• 18:41
  Yeah.
• 18:41
  Good,
• 18:42
  good,
• 18:42
  good.
• 18:42
  Kevin,
• 18:43
  how
• 18:43
  about
• 18:43
  you?
• 18:43
  Favorite
• 18:43
  character?
• 18:44
  I
• 18:45
  have
• 18:45
  kind
• 18:45
  of
• 18:45
  a
• 18:45
  tie
• 18:45
  of
• 18:46
  Dustin
• 18:47
  from
• 18:47
  the
• 18:47
  beginning
• 18:47
  and
• 18:47
  is
• 18:48
  the
• 18:48
  one
• 18:48
  I
• 18:48
  most
• 18:48
  like
• 18:49
  too.
• 18:50
  Both
• 18:50
  as,
• 18:50
  like,
• 18:50
  comic
• 18:51
  relief,
• 18:51
  but
• 18:51
  he
• 18:51
  also
• 18:51
  has,
• 18:52
  like,
• 18:52
  a
• 18:52
  lot
• 18:52
  of
• 18:52
  emotional
• 18:52
  maturity
• 18:53
  too.
• 18:53
  And
• 18:53
  I
• 18:54
  was
• 18:54
  like,
• 18:54
  following
• 18:54
  his
• 18:54
  journey,
• 18:55
  but
• 18:55
  the
• 18:55
  one
• 18:55
  who
• 18:56
  rest
• 18:56
  in
• 18:56
  peace.
• 18:56
  But
• 18:57
  Eddie
• 18:57
  from
• 18:59
  before,
• 18:59
  I
• 18:59
  absol
• 19:00
  love
• 19:00
  his
• 19:00
  arc.
• 19:01
  And
• 19:01
  I
• 19:01
  was
• 19:01
  heartbroken
• 19:01
  when
• 19:02
  they
• 19:02
  killed
• 19:02
  him
• 19:02
  off.
• 19:03
  That
• 19:03
  is
• 19:04
  all.
• 19:04
  It's
• 19:04
  a
• 19:04
  great
• 19:04
  scene
• 19:04
  with
• 19:05
  the
• 19:05
  Metalka,
• 19:06
  but
• 19:06
  I'll
• 19:06
  get
• 19:06
  into.
• 19:07
  If
• 19:07
  we
• 19:07
  have
• 19:07
  time,
• 19:08
  I
• 19:08
  can
• 19:08
  get
• 19:08
  a
• 19:08
  little
• 19:08
  more
• 19:08
  about
• 19:09
  his
• 19:10
  thing
• 19:10
  of
• 19:10
  an
• 19:10
  outsider
• 19:11
  and
• 19:12
  be
• 19:12
  brush
• 19:12
  aside.
• 19:12
  And
• 19:13
  I
• 19:13
  just
• 19:13
  love
• 19:13
  Ghost
• 19:13
  of
• 19:14
  Quinn's
• 19:14
  performance,
• 19:15
  so
• 19:15
  he's
• 19:15
  one
• 19:15
  of
• 19:15
  my
• 19:15
  favorites
• 19:16
  too.
• 19:16
  Nice.
• 19:17
  But
• 19:17
  I.
• 19:17
  This
• 19:17
  is
• 19:17
  a
• 19:17
  hard
• 19:18
  one,
• 19:18
  though,
• 19:18
  because
• 19:18
  Robin,
• 19:19
  there's
• 19:19
  so
• 19:19
  many.
• 19:20
  They're.
• 19:21
  They're
• 19:21
  all.
• 19:21
  They're
• 19:21
  all
• 19:21
  great.
• 19:22
  You
• 19:22
  know,
• 19:22
  you
• 19:22
  can't
• 19:23
  pick
• 19:23
  a
• 19:23
  favorite
• 19:23
  kid.
• 19:23
  But
• 19:24
  the.
• 19:24
  But
• 19:25
  I
• 19:25
  will
• 19:25
  say
• 19:26
  your
• 19:26
  own
• 19:26
  children.
• 19:26
  But
• 19:27
  I.
• 19:27
  I
• 19:27
  will
• 19:27
  say.
• 19:27
  Yeah,
• 19:28
  Dustin
• 19:28
  for
• 19:28
  me
• 19:29
  is
• 19:29
  by
• 19:29
  far
• 19:30
  like.
• 19:30
  I
• 19:30
  just.
• 19:30
  I
• 19:30
  just
• 19:31
  love
• 19:31
  that
• 19:31
  kid
• 19:31
  so
• 19:31
  much
• 19:31
  and
• 19:32
  watch
• 19:32
  him
• 19:32
  grow.
• 19:33
  But
• 19:33
  then
• 19:34
  a
• 19:34
  close
• 19:34
  second
• 19:35
  is
• 19:35
  Steve.
• 19:35
  I
• 19:35
  just
• 19:36
  like
• 19:36
  Steve's
• 19:38
  character
• 19:38
  arc
• 19:39
  and
• 19:39
  him
• 19:39
  growing
• 19:40
  and
• 19:40
  becoming
• 19:40
  friends
• 19:41
  with
• 19:41
  the
• 19:41
  kids
• 19:41
  and
• 19:43
  what
• 19:43
  he's
• 19:44
  experienced.
• 19:44
  And
• 19:45
  then
• 19:45
  his
• 19:45
  relationship
• 19:45
  with
• 19:45
  Robin
• 19:46
  has
• 19:47
  been
• 19:47
  great.
• 19:47
  So.
• 19:48
  Yeah.
• 19:48
  Also,
• 19:48
  let's
• 19:49
  not
• 19:49
  forget
• 19:49
  Barb.
• 19:50
  Justice
• 19:50
  for
• 19:50
  Barb.
• 19:51
  Justice
• 19:51
  for
• 19:52
  Barb,
• 19:52
  man.
• 19:52
  Maybe
• 19:53
  in
• 19:53
  season
• 19:54
  five,
• 19:55
  maybe
• 19:56
  she'll
• 19:56
  come
• 19:56
  back.
• 19:57
  That's
• 19:57
  what
• 19:57
  I'm
• 19:57
  hoping.
• 20:00
  It's
• 20:00
  just
• 20:00
  more
• 20:00
  that
• 20:01
  I
• 20:01
  wish
• 20:01
  they
• 20:01
  would
• 20:01
  address
• 20:02
  it
• 20:02
  more.
• 20:02
  It's
• 20:02
  one
• 20:02
  of
• 20:02
  the,
• 20:03
  like,
• 20:03
  gaping
• 20:03
  holes.
• 20:03
  There
• 20:04
  is
• 20:04
  like,
• 20:04
  yeah.
• 20:05
  I
• 20:05
  mean,
• 20:05
  she
• 20:05
  was
• 20:05
  the
• 20:06
  best
• 20:06
  friend
• 20:06
  of
• 20:06
  Nancy.
• 20:07
  But
• 20:07
  I
• 20:07
  also.
• 20:07
  Just
• 20:08
  a
• 20:08
  quick
• 20:08
  notice
• 20:08
  about
• 20:08
  Steve.
• 20:09
  I
• 20:09
  do
• 20:09
  love
• 20:09
  the
• 20:09
  arc
• 20:09
  as
• 20:09
  well,
• 20:10
  because
• 20:10
  you're
• 20:10
  watching
• 20:10
  season
• 20:11
  one
• 20:11
  and
• 20:11
  you
• 20:11
  think
• 20:11
  he's
• 20:12
  just
• 20:12
  gonna
• 20:12
  be
• 20:12
  the
• 20:12
  douchey
• 20:12
  bully
• 20:13
  that
• 20:13
  you're
• 20:13
  not
• 20:14
  gonna
• 20:14
  like
• 20:14
  at
• 20:14
  all.
• 20:14
  And
• 20:15
  to
• 20:15
  see
• 20:15
  him
• 20:15
  go
• 20:15
  from
• 20:16
  that
• 20:16
  to
• 20:16
  a
• 20:16
  fan
• 20:17
  favorite
• 20:17
  and
• 20:17
  to
• 20:17
  have
• 20:18
  this
• 20:18
  arc
• 20:19
  and
• 20:19
  maturity,
• 20:19
  I
• 20:20
  love
• 20:20
  it.
• 20:20
  And
• 20:20
  I
• 20:20
  really
• 20:20
  love
• 20:21
  what
• 20:21
  they
• 20:21
  did
• 20:21
  with
• 20:21
  that
• 20:21
  Character.
• 20:22
  Okay,
• 20:23
  cool.
• 20:23
  All
• 20:23
  right.
• 20:24
  Favorite
• 20:24
  pop
• 20:24
  culture
• 20:25
  reference.
• 20:26
  It
• 20:26
  could
• 20:26
  be
• 20:26
  a
• 20:26
  deep
• 20:26
  cut.
• 20:27
  It
• 20:27
  could
• 20:27
  be
• 20:27
  plain
• 20:27
  in
• 20:27
  sight.
• 20:28
  They
• 20:28
  just.
• 20:29
  They,
• 20:29
  you
• 20:29
  know,
• 20:29
  they
• 20:29
  refere
• 20:30
  so
• 20:30
  many.
• 20:31
  But.
• 20:31
  But
• 20:31
  what
• 20:31
  would
• 20:31
  you
• 20:32
  say
• 20:32
  is
• 20:32
  your
• 20:32
  favorite
• 20:32
  one?
• 20:32
  Kevin,
• 20:33
  we'll
• 20:33
  go
• 20:33
  with
• 20:33
  you
• 20:33
  first.
• 20:33
  Give
• 20:33
  Laura
• 20:34
  some
• 20:34
  time
• 20:34
  to
• 20:34
  think.
• 20:35
  This
• 20:36
  is
• 20:36
  tough,
• 20:36
  but
• 20:38
  it's.
• 20:38
  It's
• 20:39
  more
• 20:39
  kind
• 20:39
  of
• 20:39
  a
• 20:39
  theme
• 20:40
  throughout
• 20:40
  the
• 20:41
  season.
• 20:41
  Two,
• 20:41
  the
• 20:41
  Halloween
• 20:42
  one.
• 20:42
  But
• 20:42
  the
• 20:43
  amount
• 20:43
  of
• 20:43
  stuff
• 20:43
  to
• 20:43
  do
• 20:43
  with
• 20:44
  aliens
• 20:45
  in
• 20:45
  that.
• 20:46
  Both
• 20:46
  in
• 20:46
  terms
• 20:47
  of
• 20:47
  casting
• 20:47
  they
• 20:47
  bring
• 20:48
  in.
• 20:49
  I'm
• 20:49
  trying
• 20:49
  to
• 20:49
  Blank.
• 20:50
  Dang
• 20:50
  it.
• 20:50
  I'm
• 20:50
  trying
• 20:50
  blank
• 20:51
  other
• 20:51
  name
• 20:51
  who
• 20:51
  plays
• 20:51
  the
• 20:52
  doctor.
• 20:52
  But
• 20:52
  he
• 20:52
  was
• 20:52
  in
• 20:53
  Aliens
• 20:54
  there.
• 20:55
  But
• 20:55
  that.
• 20:56
  And
• 20:56
  then
• 20:56
  just
• 20:57
  in
• 20:57
  terms
• 20:57
  of
• 20:57
  the
• 20:58
  execution

• 21:30
  there's
• 21:30
  a
• 21:30
  whole
• 21:31
  thing
• 21:32
  behind

  I

• 21:40
  I
• 21:40
  love.
• 21:40
  I
• 21:41
  love
• 21:41
  that.
• 21:42
  Yeah.
• 21:43
  I'm
• 21:43
  tempted
• 21:43
  to
• 21:43
  say
• 21:44
  D
• 21:44
  and
• 21:44
  D
• 21:44
  because
• 21:44
  it
• 21:45
  kind
• 21:45
  of
• 21:45

  big
• 21:51
  part
• 21:51
  of
• 21:52
  that
• 21:52
  resurgence
• 21:52
  of
• 21:52
  people
• 21:53
  going,
• 21:53
  yeah,
• 21:53
  that
• 21:53
  was
• 21:54
  cool.
• 21:54
  Let's
• 21:54
  get
• 21:54
  back
• 21:54
  into
• 21:55
  that.
• 21:55
  But
• 21:56
  for
• 21:56
  me,
• 21:56
  I'm
• 21:56
  such
• 21:56
  a
• 21:57

• 21:57

• 21:57
  fan
• 21:58
  and
• 21:59
  an
• 21:59

• 21:59
  fan,
• 22:00
  the
• 22:00

• 22:00
  that
• 22:00
  the
• 22:00
  11
• 22:01
  is
• 22:01
  kind
• 22:01
  of
• 22:01
  like
• 22:02
  Jean
• 22:02
  Grey
• 22:03
  and
• 22:03
  the
• 22:03
  Dark
• 22:03

• 22:05
  and

  this
• 22:06

• 22:07
  of
• 22:07
  the

• 22:09

  this
• 22:10
  telekinesis
• 22:11
  and
• 22:12
  powers
• 22:13
  there
• 22:13
  on.
• 22:14
  They
• 22:14
  did
• 22:14
  Jean
• 22:15
  Grey
• 22:15
  better
• 22:15
  than.
• 22:16
  Than
• 22:16
  the
• 22:16
  X
• 22:16
  men
• 22:16
  movies
• 22:17
  with

• 22:18
  I
• 22:18
  love
• 22:18
  it.
• 22:19
  That's.
• 22:19
  That's.
• 22:20
  That's
• 22:20
  my.
• 22:20
  That's
• 22:20
  my
• 22:21
  deep
• 22:21
  cut.
• 22:21
  I
• 22:22
  love
• 22:22
  also,
• 22:22
  just
• 22:23
  a
• 22:23
  quick.
• 22:23
  A
• 22:23
  quick
• 22:24
  one
• 22:24
  is
• 22:24
  that
• 22:24
  they
• 22:25
  take
• 22:25
  still
• 22:25
  the
• 22:25
  end
• 22:26
  of
• 22:26
  season
• 22:26
  three,
• 22:26
  but
• 22:26
  they
• 22:26
  finally
• 22:27
  land
• 22:27
  at
• 22:27
  a
• 22:27
  video
• 22:27
  store
• 22:28
  where
• 22:28
  Steve
• 22:28
  and
• 22:28
  Robin
• 22:29
  get
• 22:29
  jobs
• 22:29
  there.
• 22:29
  And
• 22:30
  I
• 22:30
  absolutely
• 22:30
  love
• 22:30
  that
• 22:31
  scene
• 22:31
  when
• 22:31
  the
• 22:32
  guy
• 22:32
  is
• 22:32
  interviewing
• 22:32
  them
• 22:33
  and
• 22:33
  like,
• 22:33
  okay,
• 22:34
  what's
• 22:34
  your
• 22:34
  favorite
• 22:34

• 22:35
  And
• 22:35
  Steve's
• 22:35
  like
• 22:36
  Animal
• 22:37
  House
• 22:37
  and
• 22:38
  then.
• 22:38
  And
• 22:38
  then
• 22:39
  Robin
• 22:39
  names
• 22:40
  off
• 22:40
  like
• 22:40
  the
• 22:40

• 22:41
  and
• 22:41
  all
• 22:41
  these
• 22:41
  classics
• 22:42
  and
• 22:42
  Deep
• 22:42
  Cuts.
• 22:42
  I
• 22:43
  just.
• 22:43
  I.
• 22:43
  I
• 22:43
  love
• 22:44
  the
• 22:44

• 22:44

• 22:46
  Yes,
• 22:46
  the
• 22:46

• 22:47

• 22:47
  Yeah,
• 22:48
  I
• 22:48
  love
• 22:48
  it.
• 22:49
  All
• 22:49
  right.
• 22:49
  It's
• 22:49
  cool.
• 22:50
  So
• 22:50
  this
• 22:52
  Stranger
• 22:52
  Things
• 22:52
  has
• 22:53
  the
• 22:53

• 22:53

• 22:54
  and
• 22:55
  all
• 22:55
  streaming
• 22:56
  shows.
• 22:58
  I
• 22:58
  don't
• 22:58
  know
• 22:58
  how
• 22:58
  much
• 22:58
  they
• 22:58
  have
• 22:59
  to
• 22:59
  pay
• 22:59
  and
• 22:59
  getting
• 22:59
  permission
• 23:00
  to
• 23:00
  use
• 23:00
  this
• 23:01
  kind
• 23:01
  of
• 23:02
  music,
• 23:02
  but.
• 23:03
  Yeah,
• 23:03
  since
• 23:03
  it's
• 23:03
  made
• 23:03
  a
• 23:04
  lot
• 23:04
  of
• 23:04
  money,
• 23:04
  it
• 23:04
  can
• 23:04
  spend
• 23:04
  that
• 23:05
  kind
• 23:05
  of
• 23:05
  money,
• 23:05
  but.
• 23:05
  All
• 23:05
  right,
• 23:06
  favorite
• 23:06
  80s

• 23:08
  or
• 23:09

• 23:09
  Pull
• 23:10
  that.
• 23:10
  They
• 23:11
  pull
• 23:11
  from
• 23:11
  here.
• 23:11
  Laura,
• 23:12
  how
• 23:12
  about
• 23:13
  you?
• 23:14
  The
• 23:14
  Never
• 23:14
  Ending
• 23:15
  Story
• 23:15
  theme
• 23:15
  song.
• 23:16
  There
• 23:16
  is
• 23:16
  not
• 23:16
  a
• 23:16
  better
• 23:16
  moment
• 23:17
  in
• 23:17
  the
• 23:17
  whole
• 23:17
  show
• 23:17
  than
• 23:18
  that.
• 23:18
  And
• 23:18
  because
• 23:19
  of
• 23:19
  that,
• 23:19
  my
• 23:19
  kids
• 23:20
  know
• 23:20
  the
• 23:20
  song
• 23:20
  inside
• 23:21
  and
• 23:21
  out
• 23:21
  now
• 23:21
  too,
• 23:22
  and
• 23:22
  it's
• 23:22
  just
• 23:22
  so
• 23:23
  great.
• 23:23
  But
• 23:23
  like,
• 23:23
  when
• 23:24
  they
• 23:24
  pulled
• 23:24
  that
• 23:24
  out
• 23:25
  and
• 23:25
  started
• 23:25
  singing
• 23:25
  it,
• 23:25
  like
• 23:26
  the
• 23:26
  second
• 23:26
  they
• 23:26
  start,
• 23:27
  that
• 23:27
  whole
• 23:27
  sec.
• 23:28
  Oh,
• 23:28
  my
• 23:28
  goodness
• 23:29
  sequence
• 23:29
  with
• 23:29
  Dustin,
• 23:30
  his
• 23:30
  girlfriend
• 23:31
  singing
• 23:31
  that
• 23:32
  song,
• 23:32
  like
• 23:32
  the
• 23:33
  minute
• 23:33
  they
• 23:33
  started,
• 23:33
  you're
• 23:34
  like,
• 23:34
  oh,
• 23:34
  no,
• 23:34
  we're
• 23:35
  doing
• 23:35
  this.
• 23:35
  And
• 23:35
  it's
• 23:36
  so
• 23:36
  great.
• 23:36
  And
• 23:37
  I
• 23:37
  love
• 23:37
  it.
• 23:37
  It's
• 23:37
  wonderful.
• 23:38
  Yeah,
• 23:38
  that's
• 23:39
  fantastic.
• 23:40
  It's
• 23:40
  relationship
• 23:40
  goals
• 23:41
  also.
• 23:41
  Ah,
• 23:42
  yeah,
• 23:42
  yeah.
• 23:43
  You
• 23:43
  know,
• 23:43
  you
• 23:43
  found
• 23:44
  the
• 23:44
  right
• 23:44
  one
• 23:44
  when.
• 23:44
  When
• 23:45
  that.
• 23:47
  Kevin,
• 23:48
  how
• 23:48
  about
• 23:48
  you?
• 23:49
  This
• 23:49
  is
• 23:49
  one
• 23:49
  the
• 23:49
  show
• 23:50
  introduced
• 23:50
  me
• 23:50
  to,
• 23:51
  but.
• 23:52
  And
• 23:52
  did
• 23:52
  it
• 23:53
  for
• 23:53
  a
• 23:53
  lot
• 23:53
  of
• 23:53
  people,
• 23:53
  but
• 23:54
  Running
• 23:54

• 23:55
  Bush
• 23:56
  was.
• 23:56
  It
• 23:56
  became
• 23:57
  an
• 23:57
  absolute.
• 23:57
  Like
• 23:58
  I
• 23:58
  say,
• 23:58
  it
• 23:58
  became
• 23:58
  an
• 23:59
  absolute
• 23:59
  class.
• 23:59
  He
• 23:59
  already
• 24:00
  was
• 24:00
  for
• 24:00
  a
• 24:00
  long
• 24:00
  time,
• 24:01
  but
• 24:01
  it
• 24:01
  like,
• 24:01
  went
• 24:02
  through
• 24:02
  the
• 24:02
  show.
• 24:02
  Who
• 24:03
  was
• 24:03
  able
• 24:03
  to
• 24:03
  reintroduce
• 24:04
  that
• 24:04
  song
• 24:05
  and
• 24:05
  Kate
• 24:05
  Bush
• 24:06
  to
• 24:06
  a
• 24:06
  whole
• 24:06
  new
• 24:06
  generation?
• 24:07
  And
• 24:07
  I
• 24:08
  absolutely
• 24:08
  fell
• 24:08
  in
• 24:09
  love
• 24:09
  with
• 24:09
  it
• 24:09
  and
• 24:09
  I
• 24:09
  fell
• 24:09
  in
• 24:09
  love
• 24:09
  with
• 24:10
  her
• 24:10
  work.
• 24:10
  So
• 24:10
  I
• 24:11
  have
• 24:11
  a
• 24:11
  huge
• 24:12
  geek
• 24:12
  playlist
• 24:13
  that
• 24:13
  I
• 24:13
  continually
• 24:13
  add
• 24:14
  to.
• 24:14
  And
• 24:14
  that's
• 24:14
  one
• 24:15
  of
• 24:15
  the
• 24:15
  songs
• 24:16
  on
• 24:16
  there.
• 24:16
  So
• 24:17
  I
• 24:17
  love
• 24:17
  that.
• 24:18
  And
• 24:18
  especially
• 24:19
  because
• 24:19
  of
• 24:19
  the
• 24:19
  cinematic
• 24:20
  aspect
• 24:20
  of
• 24:20
  it
• 24:21
  tying
• 24:21
  into
• 24:22
  Max's
• 24:23
  story
• 24:23
  in
• 24:23
  season
• 24:24
  four,
• 24:24
  it's
• 24:25
  just.
• 24:25
  There's
• 24:25
  some
• 24:26
  great
• 24:26
  scenes
• 24:26
  that
• 24:26
  it's
• 24:26
  used
• 24:27
  with.
• 24:27
  So
• 24:28
  I
• 24:28
  love
• 24:28
  that
• 24:28
  song.
• 24:29
  I
• 24:29
  do
• 24:29
  love
• 24:29
  the
• 24:29
  use
• 24:30
  of
• 24:30
  that
• 24:30
  song
• 24:30
  in
• 24:31
  the
• 24:31
  show.
• 24:31
  I
• 24:31
  think
• 24:31
  it
• 24:32
  was
• 24:32
  fantastic.
• 24:32
  And
• 24:33
  it's
• 24:33
  funny
• 24:33
  that
• 24:34
  that
• 24:34
  song
• 24:35
  after
• 24:35
  that
• 24:35
  happened.
• 24:36
  Yeah,
• 24:36
  it
• 24:36
  was
• 24:36
  an
• 24:36
  80s
• 24:37
  classic.
• 24:37
  It
• 24:37
  was,
• 24:38
  you
• 24:38
  know,
• 24:38
  great
• 24:39
  top
• 24:39
  of
• 24:39
  the
• 24:39
  best
• 24:40
  of
• 24:40
  80s
• 24:40
  soundtrack.
• 24:41
  But
• 24:41
  then
• 24:42
  all
• 24:42
  the,
• 24:42
  like,
• 24:42
  normal
• 24:43
  regular
• 24:43
  pop
• 24:44
  radio
• 24:44
  stations
• 24:45
  were
• 24:45
  playing
• 24:45
  that.
• 24:45
  So
• 24:46
  because
• 24:47
  of
• 24:47
  the
• 24:47
  show.
• 24:47
  And
• 24:47
  everybody
• 24:48
  was
• 24:48
  loving
• 24:48
  it
• 24:48
  so
• 24:49
  much.
• 24:50
  Yeah,
• 24:50
  I
• 24:51
  liked.
• 24:51
  I
• 24:51
  think
• 24:51
  it
• 24:52
  was
• 24:52
  leading.
• 24:53
  We
• 24:53
  got
• 24:53
  introduced
• 24:54
  to
• 24:54
  Billy
• 24:55
  at
• 24:55
  season
• 24:56
  three,
• 24:56
  Fourth
• 24:56
  of
• 24:56
  July,
• 24:57
  that.
• 24:58
  So
• 24:58
  the
• 24:59
  trailer
• 24:59
  for
• 25:00
  season
• 25:00
  three,
• 25:01
  when
• 25:01
  they
• 25:02
  played
• 25:04
  Moving
• 25:05
  in
• 25:05
  Stereo
• 25:06
  by
• 25:06
  the
• 25:06
  cars
• 25:07
  is
• 25:08
  just
• 25:08
  so
• 25:09
  good.
• 25:10
  I
• 25:10
  was
• 25:10
  just.
• 25:10
  Man,
• 25:10
  they're
• 25:11
  genius
• 25:11
  when
• 25:12
  it
• 25:12
  comes
• 25:12
  to
• 25:12
  setting
• 25:13
  up
• 25:13
  these
• 25:13
  trailers
• 25:14
  and
• 25:14
  edits.
• 25:14
  But,
• 25:14
  yeah,
• 25:15
  the
• 25:15
  car's
• 25:15
  moving
• 25:16
  in
• 25:16
  stereo,
• 25:16
  but
• 25:16
  Then,
• 25:17
  man,
• 25:17
  I
• 25:17
  tell
• 25:17
  you,
• 25:18
  one
• 25:18
  of
• 25:18
  the
• 25:18
  most
• 25:18
  heartbreaking
• 25:19
  moments
• 25:19
  is
• 25:19
  when
• 25:20
  they're
• 25:20
  at
• 25:20
  the
• 25:20
  lake
• 25:21
  season
• 25:21
  one,
• 25:22
  and
• 25:22
  they're
• 25:22
  trying
• 25:22
  to
• 25:23
  figure
• 25:23
  out
• 25:23
  where
• 25:23
  Will
• 25:23
  is,
• 25:24
  and
• 25:24
  they
• 25:24
  think
• 25:24
  that
• 25:24
  he
• 25:24
  fell
• 25:25
  into
• 25:25
  the
• 25:25
  lake,
• 25:25
  and
• 25:25
  they
• 25:25
  start
• 25:26
  playing
• 25:26
  Peter
• 25:26
  Gabriel's
• 25:27
  cover
• 25:27
  of
• 25:27
  Heroes
• 25:27
  by
• 25:28
  David
• 25:28
  Bowie.
• 25:28
  It's
• 25:29
  just
• 25:29
  like,
• 25:29
  Peter
• 25:29
  Gabriel
• 25:30
  is
• 25:30
  just
• 25:32
  beautifully
• 25:33
  haunting
• 25:33
  to
• 25:33
  me,
• 25:34
  most
• 25:34
  of
• 25:34
  his
• 25:34
  stuff.
• 25:35
  And
• 25:35
  so
• 25:36
  when
• 25:36
  they
• 25:36
  covered
• 25:37
  Heroes,
• 25:37
  that
• 25:38
  was
• 25:38
  just
• 25:38
  heartbreaking,
• 25:39
  where
• 25:39
  we're
• 25:39
  all
• 25:39
  crying
• 25:40
  as
• 25:40
  a
• 25:40
  family
• 25:41
  and
• 25:42
  while
• 25:42
  we're
• 25:42
  watching
• 25:42
  it,
• 25:43
  but.
• 25:43
  And
• 25:43
  it's
• 25:43
  just
• 25:43
  a
• 25:43
  beautiful,
• 25:44
  beautiful
• 25:44
  song.
• 25:44
  So.
• 25:45
  Yeah,
• 25:46
  good.
• 25:46
  Good
• 25:47
  stuff.
• 25:47
  Yeah.
• 25:48
  So,
• 25:48
  all
• 25:48
  right,
• 25:48
  we
• 25:48
  got
• 25:48
  a
• 25:48
  few
• 25:49
  minutes
• 25:49
  left.
• 25:49
  We're
• 25:49
  doing
• 25:50
  good
• 25:50
  on
• 25:50
  time.
• 25:50
  If
• 25:50
  we
• 25:50
  were
• 25:51
  going
• 25:51
  to,
• 25:51
  like,
• 25:52
  focus
• 25:52
  on,
• 25:52
  like,
• 25:52
  just
• 25:52
  one
• 25:53
  of
• 25:53
  the
• 25:53
  themes
• 25:53
  that
• 25:53
  we
• 25:53
  think
• 25:54
  is
• 25:54
  important
• 25:54
  for.
• 25:55
  For
• 25:55
  this
• 25:55
  show.
• 25:55
  Kevin
• 25:56
  alluded
• 25:57
  to
• 25:57
  it
• 25:57
  a
• 25:57
  little
• 25:57
  bit
• 25:58
  long.
• 25:58
  We
• 25:58
  know
• 25:58
  I
• 25:58
  have
• 25:58
  to
• 25:58
  go
• 25:59
  shortly.
• 25:59
  But
• 26:00
  if
• 26:00
  there's.
• 26:00
  There's
• 26:00
  a
• 26:00
  theme
• 26:01
  from
• 26:01
  this
• 26:01
  show,
• 26:02
  again,
• 26:02
  elevator
• 26:03
  pitch
• 26:03
  of,
• 26:03
  like,
• 26:03
  one
• 26:03
  of
• 26:03
  the
• 26:03
  themes
• 26:04
  you
• 26:04
  think
• 26:04
  is
• 26:04
  important
• 26:05
  here,
• 26:05
  what
• 26:05
  would
• 26:06
  you.
• 26:06
  What
• 26:07
  would
• 26:07
  you
• 26:07
  kind
• 26:07
  of
• 26:07
  tease
• 26:08
  out
• 26:08
  of
• 26:08
  this
• 26:08
  as
• 26:09
  a
• 26:09
  theme
• 26:09
  or
• 26:10
  something
• 26:10
  that
• 26:10
  us
• 26:11
  geekologists
• 26:11
  can
• 26:12
  go
• 26:12
  a
• 26:12
  little
• 26:12
  beneath
• 26:12
  the
• 26:13
  surface
• 26:14
  with
• 26:14
  and
• 26:15
  helping
• 26:16
  people
• 26:16
  think
• 26:17
  through?
• 26:17
  Yeah.
• 26:17
  I
• 26:18
  would
• 26:18
  go
• 26:18
  back
• 26:18
  to
• 26:18
  earlier,
• 26:18
  what
• 26:19
  I
• 26:19
  said
• 26:19
  about
• 26:19
  the
• 26:19
  generational
• 26:20
  aspect
• 26:20
  of
• 26:20
  the
• 26:20
  show,
• 26:21
  because,
• 26:21
  again,
• 26:22
  so
• 26:22
  many
• 26:22
  80s
• 26:22
  movies
• 26:23
  and
• 26:23
  shows,
• 26:23
  you
• 26:24
  know,
• 26:24
  they
• 26:24
  put
• 26:24
  all
• 26:24
  the
• 26:24
  focus
• 26:25
  on
• 26:25
  the
• 26:25
  kids,
• 26:26
  which
• 26:26
  was
• 26:26
  pretty
• 26:26
  inside
• 26:26
  because,
• 26:27
  like
• 26:27
  I
• 26:27
  say,
• 26:27
  you
• 26:27
  know,
• 26:28
  like,
• 26:28
  that
• 26:29
  was.
• 26:29
  The
• 26:29
  kids
• 26:29
  kind
• 26:30
  of,
• 26:30
  like,
• 26:30
  felt
• 26:30
  unseen
• 26:31
  and
• 26:31
  stuff.
• 26:31
  And
• 26:31
  so
• 26:32
  they
• 26:32
  did
• 26:32
  that.
• 26:32
  But
• 26:32
  then
• 26:32
  they
• 26:32
  made
• 26:33
  the
• 26:33
  adult
• 26:34
  characters,
• 26:34
  like,
• 26:35
  non
• 26:35
  existent.
• 26:36
  And
• 26:36
  they
• 26:36
  do
• 26:37
  comment
• 26:37
  on
• 26:37
  that
• 26:37
  here,
• 26:38
  too,
• 26:38
  because
• 26:38
  they
• 26:38
  do
• 26:38
  it
• 26:39
  with
• 26:40
  the.
• 26:40
  The
• 26:41
  Wheelers's
• 26:42
  father
• 26:42
  is
• 26:42
  pretty
• 26:43
  much
• 26:43
  completely
• 26:43
  absent.
• 26:44
  I
• 26:44
  mean,
• 26:45
  he's
• 26:45
  just
• 26:45
  totally
• 26:46
  ignorant
• 26:46
  and
• 26:46
  not
• 26:47
  really
• 26:47
  present
• 26:48
  in
• 26:48
  his
• 26:48
  family's
• 26:48
  life.
• 26:49
  And
• 26:49
  if
• 26:49
  the
• 26:49
  mom
• 26:50
  has
• 26:50
  to
• 26:50
  do
• 26:50
  more.
• 26:50
  So
• 26:51
  they
• 26:51
  do
• 26:51
  comment
• 26:51
  on
• 26:51
  him
• 26:52
  as,
• 26:52
  like,
• 26:52
  the,
• 26:52
  you
• 26:53
  know,
• 26:53
  stereotype
• 26:53
  in
• 26:53
  that
• 26:53
  regard,
• 26:54
  but
• 26:54
  they
• 26:54
  put
• 26:55
  so
• 26:55
  much
• 26:55
  emphasis
• 26:56
  on
• 26:57
  each
• 26:57
  generation.
• 26:58
  So,
• 26:58
  like
• 26:58
  I
• 26:58
  said,
• 26:58
  the
• 26:58
  kids,
• 26:59
  the
• 26:59
  teenagers,
• 26:59
  the
• 26:59
  adults
• 27:00
  and
• 27:00
  their
• 27:00
  dynamics
• 27:01
  and
• 27:01
  their
• 27:01
  relationships
• 27:02
  and
• 27:02
  all
• 27:03
  trying
• 27:03
  to
• 27:03
  better
• 27:04
  understand
• 27:04
  each
• 27:04
  other.
• 27:04
  And
• 27:04
  you
• 27:05
  see.
• 27:05
  And
• 27:05
  look
• 27:05
  at
• 27:06
  you
• 27:06
  look
• 27:06
  at
• 27:06
  Hopper,
• 27:06
  who
• 27:07
  has
• 27:07
  a
• 27:07
  great
• 27:07
  arc
• 27:07
  of,
• 27:08
  you
• 27:08
  know,
• 27:08
  he
• 27:08
  starts
• 27:09
  as.
• 27:09
  It's
• 27:09
  like,
• 27:10
  oh,
• 27:10
  here's
• 27:10
  the
• 27:10
  grumpy
• 27:10
  sheriff
• 27:11
  who,
• 27:11
  you
• 27:12
  know,
• 27:12
  sleeps
• 27:12
  around
• 27:12
  and
• 27:13
  drinks
• 27:13
  too
• 27:13
  much.
• 27:13
  And
• 27:14
  then
• 27:14
  you
• 27:14
  realize
• 27:15
  he
• 27:15
  has
• 27:15
  this
• 27:15
  tragic
• 27:16
  backstory
• 27:17
  with
• 27:17
  the
• 27:17
  loss
• 27:17
  of
• 27:18
  his
• 27:18
  daughter,
• 27:18
  and
• 27:19
  he's
• 27:19
  wrestling
• 27:20
  with
• 27:20
  all
• 27:20
  these
• 27:20
  things,
• 27:20
  and
• 27:20
  he
• 27:21
  has
• 27:21
  such
• 27:21
  a
• 27:21
  heart,
• 27:21
  and
• 27:22
  he's
• 27:22
  so
• 27:23
  much
• 27:23
  yearning
• 27:24
  to
• 27:24
  be
• 27:24
  a
• 27:24
  father
• 27:25
  again.
• 27:25
  And,
• 27:26
  you
• 27:26
  know,
• 27:26
  that
• 27:27
  be.
• 27:27
  Having
• 27:28
  that
• 27:28
  taken
• 27:29
  from
• 27:29
  him
• 27:29
  really
• 27:29
  destroyed
• 27:30
  him
• 27:30
  for
• 27:30
  the
• 27:30
  longest
• 27:31
  time.
• 27:31
  And
• 27:31
  so
• 27:31
  A
• 27:31
  lot
• 27:31
  of
• 27:32
  the
• 27:32
  show
• 27:32
  is
• 27:32
  about
• 27:33
  his
• 27:33
  rebirth
• 27:34
  and,
• 27:34
  you
• 27:35
  know,
• 27:35
  the
• 27:35
  relationship
• 27:35
  between
• 27:36
  him
• 27:36
  and
• 27:36
  11
• 27:36
  is
• 27:37
  beautiful.
• 27:37
  And
• 27:38
  so,
• 27:38
  you
• 27:38
  know,
• 27:39
  it
• 27:39
  really
• 27:40
  makes
• 27:40
  it
• 27:40
  an
• 27:40
  effort
• 27:41
  to
• 27:42
  dive
• 27:43
  into
• 27:43
  the
• 27:44
  flaws
• 27:45
  and
• 27:45
  the
• 27:45
  strengths
• 27:46
  of
• 27:46
  each
• 27:46
  character
• 27:47
  in
• 27:47
  different
• 27:48
  generations
• 27:48
  and
• 27:48
  helping
• 27:49
  them
• 27:49
  to
• 27:49
  better
• 27:50
  understand
• 27:50
  each
• 27:50
  other.
• 27:51
  So
• 27:51
  that's
• 27:51
  one
• 27:51
  of
• 27:51
  my
• 27:51
  favorite
• 27:52
  aspects
• 27:52
  of
• 27:52
  the
• 27:52
  show
• 27:52
  and
• 27:53
  are
• 27:53
  really
• 27:53
  strong
• 27:54
  thematic
• 27:54
  material.
• 27:55
  Yeah,
• 27:55
  I
• 27:55
  love.
• 27:56
  I
• 27:56
  love
• 27:56
  that.
• 27:56
  How
• 27:56
  about
• 27:56
  you,
• 27:57
  Laura?
• 27:58
  So
• 27:58
  I
• 27:59
  think
• 27:59
  for
• 27:59
  me
• 28:00
  it's
• 28:00
  nostalgia
• 28:01
  and
• 28:01
  innocence
• 28:02
  and
• 28:02
  wonder.
• 28:03
  This
• 28:03
  show
• 28:04
  had
• 28:04
  to
• 28:04
  take
• 28:04
  place
• 28:05
  in
• 28:05
  the
• 28:05
  80s,
• 28:05
  right.
• 28:06
  Because
• 28:06
  it
• 28:06
  would
• 28:06
  never
• 28:06
  work
• 28:07
  today
• 28:07
  because
• 28:07
  we
• 28:07
  got
• 28:08
  social
• 28:08
  media
• 28:08
  and
• 28:09
  TikTok
• 28:10
  and
• 28:10
  the
• 28:11
  whatever
• 28:11
  it
• 28:11
  is
• 28:11
  that
• 28:11
  the
• 28:11
  kids
• 28:12
  use
• 28:12
  nowadays.
• 28:13
  They
• 28:14
  wouldn't
• 28:14
  be
• 28:14
  out
• 28:14
  wandering
• 28:15
  around
• 28:15
  on
• 28:15
  their
• 28:15
  bicycles
• 28:16
  to
• 28:16
  begin
• 28:16
  with
• 28:16
  and
• 28:17
  doing
• 28:17
  all
• 28:17
  of
• 28:17
  the
• 28:17
  things
• 28:18
  that
• 28:18
  they're
• 28:18
  doing.
• 28:18
  And
• 28:19
  I
• 28:19
  think
• 28:19
  there's
• 28:20
  a
• 28:20
  sense
• 28:20
  and
• 28:21
  like
• 28:21
  just
• 28:22
  the
• 28:22
  very
• 28:22
  resurgence
• 28:23
  of
• 28:23
  D
• 28:23
  and
• 28:23
  D
• 28:24
  since
• 28:24
  Stranger
• 28:25
  Things
• 28:25
  and
• 28:25
  how
• 28:25
  people
• 28:26
  like
• 28:26
  some
• 28:26
  people
• 28:26
  that
• 28:27
  never
• 28:27
  went
• 28:27
  away.
• 28:27
  Right.
• 28:28
  But
• 28:28
  there
• 28:28
  was
• 28:28
  a
• 28:28
  strong
• 28:29
  renewed
• 28:29
  interest
• 28:30
  in
• 28:30
  things
• 28:30
  like
• 28:30
  D
• 28:31
  and
• 28:31
  D
• 28:31
  and
• 28:31
  like
• 28:32
  theater
• 28:32
  of
• 28:32
  the
• 28:32
  mind
• 28:32
  and
• 28:33
  imagination
• 28:34
  that
• 28:34
  we
• 28:34
  seem
• 28:34
  to
• 28:34
  have.
• 28:35
  And
• 28:36
  so
• 28:36
  the
• 28:36
  nostalgia
• 28:37
  aspect
• 28:38
  of
• 28:38
  that
• 28:38
  show,
• 28:38
  I
• 28:38
  think
• 28:39
  is
• 28:39
  something,
• 28:40
  like
• 28:41
  I
• 28:41
  said,
• 28:41
  Season
• 28:41
  2
• 28:41
  is
• 28:42
  my
• 28:42
  favorite,
• 28:42
  but
• 28:42
  I
• 28:42
  have
• 28:43
  a
• 28:43
  very
• 28:43
  strong
• 28:43
  sentimental
• 28:44
  attachment
• 28:44
  to
• 28:44
  season
• 28:45
  three.
• 28:45
  And
• 28:46
  the
• 28:46
  reason
• 28:46
  is
• 28:46
  it
• 28:47
  came
• 28:47
  out
• 28:47
  on
• 28:47
  4th
• 28:47
  of
• 28:47
  July,
• 28:48
  and
• 28:48
  I
• 28:49
  love
• 28:49
  the
• 28:49
  4th
• 28:50
  of
• 28:50
  July
• 28:50
  because
• 28:50
  it's
• 28:51
  hot
• 28:51
  dogs
• 28:51
  and
• 28:51
  fireworks
• 28:52
  and
• 28:52
  all
• 28:52
  of
• 28:52
  that
• 28:53
  stuff.
• 28:53
  I
• 28:53
  love
• 28:53
  it.
• 28:54
  I
• 28:54
  get
• 28:54
  so
• 28:54
  excited
• 28:55
  every
• 28:55
  year.
• 28:55
  But
• 28:56
  they
• 28:56
  did
• 28:56
  the
• 28:57
  best
• 28:57
  marketing
• 28:57
  in
• 28:58
  the
• 28:58
  world
• 28:58
  for
• 28:58
  that
• 28:59
  season
• 28:59
  because
• 28:59
  they
• 29:00
  did
• 29:00
  like
• 29:00
  the
• 29:01
  Diet
• 29:01
  Coke
• 29:01
  cans
• 29:02
  and
• 29:02
  the.
• 29:02
  Not
• 29:02
  Diet
• 29:03
  Coke,
• 29:03
  but
• 29:03
  it
• 29:03
  was
• 29:04
  the
• 29:04
  new
• 29:04
  Coke.
• 29:05
  They
• 29:05
  re
• 29:05
  released
• 29:06
  it.
• 29:06
  And
• 29:07
  I
• 29:07
  still
• 29:07
  remember
• 29:08
  that
• 29:08
  whole
• 29:08
  tobacco
• 29:09
  because
• 29:09
  my
• 29:09
  grandmother
• 29:10
  collected
• 29:10
  Coke
• 29:11
  everything.
• 29:11
  And
• 29:11
  when
• 29:12
  Coke
• 29:12
  changed
• 29:12
  the
• 29:12
  recipe,
• 29:13
  she
• 29:13
  was
• 29:13
  like,
• 29:13
  I'm
• 29:14
  done
• 29:14
  with
• 29:14
  this.
• 29:14
  Like,
• 29:15
  she
• 29:15
  protested
• 29:16
  and
• 29:16
  everything.
• 29:16
  It
• 29:16
  was
• 29:17
  crazy.
• 29:18
  So
• 29:18
  when
• 29:18
  they
• 29:18
  did
• 29:19
  that,
• 29:19
  they
• 29:19
  did
• 29:19
  the
• 29:19
  marketing
• 29:20
  with
• 29:20
  the
• 29:20
  Coke,
• 29:20
  they
• 29:20
  did
• 29:20
  the
• 29:21
  Eggos,
• 29:21
  they
• 29:21
  did
• 29:21
  all
• 29:22
  of
• 29:22
  this
• 29:22
  stuff.
• 29:23
  And
• 29:23
  then
• 29:23
  Fortnite
• 29:24
  also
• 29:24
  had
• 29:25
  the
• 29:25
  introduction
• 29:26
  of
• 29:26
  like,
• 29:26
  Scoops
• 29:27
  Ahoy
• 29:27
  and
• 29:27
  all
• 29:28
  that.
• 29:28
  So,
• 29:28
  like,
• 29:28
  for
• 29:29
  our
• 29:29
  whole
• 29:29
  family,
• 29:30
  we
• 29:30
  binge
• 29:30
  watched
• 29:31
  the
• 29:31
  entire
• 29:31
  season
• 29:32
  on
• 29:32
  the
• 29:32
  4th
• 29:33
  of
• 29:33
  July.
• 29:33
  We
• 29:33
  played
• 29:34
  Fortnite,
• 29:34
  we
• 29:35
  drank
• 29:35
  the
• 29:35
  Coke,
• 29:36
  like
• 29:36
  all
• 29:36
  of
• 29:37
  the
• 29:37
  things.
• 29:37
  And
• 29:37
  it
• 29:37
  was.
• 29:38
  I
• 29:38
  have
• 29:38
  such
• 29:38
  a
• 29:39
  fond
• 29:39
  memory
• 29:40
  of
• 29:40
  the
• 29:40
  day
• 29:40
  that
• 29:40
  it
• 29:41
  was
• 29:41
  released
• 29:41
  because
• 29:41
  it
• 29:42
  was
• 29:42
  beautiful.
• 29:42
  So
• 29:43
  I
• 29:43
  think
• 29:43
  just
• 29:44
  the
• 29:44
  theme
• 29:44
  in
• 29:44
  itself
• 29:45
  of
• 29:45
  nostalgia
• 29:45
  and
• 29:46
  then
• 29:46
  how
• 29:46
  they
• 29:46
  recreated
• 29:47
  that
• 29:47
  and
• 29:47
  let
• 29:48
  us
• 29:48
  live
• 29:48
  into
• 29:48
  it
• 29:49
  each
• 29:49
  time
• 29:50
  there's
• 29:50
  a
• 29:50
  new
• 29:50
  season
• 29:51
  introduced.
• 29:52
  So
• 29:52
  for
• 29:53
  me,
• 29:53
  I
• 29:54
  think
• 29:54
  nostalgia,
• 29:55
  wonder,
• 29:55
  feeling
• 29:56
  those
• 29:56
  feelings
• 29:56
  that
• 29:56
  we
• 29:56
  don't
• 29:57
  get
• 29:57
  to
• 29:57
  feel
• 29:57
  as
• 29:57
  often
• 29:58
  anymore.
• 29:59
  So
• 29:59
  that's.
• 29:59
  Yeah,
• 30:01
  I
• 30:01
  love
• 30:01
  that
• 30:02
  your.
• 30:02
  Your
• 30:02
  grandma
• 30:04
  acted
• 30:04
  Like
• 30:04
  Star
• 30:04
  wars
• 30:05
  fans
• 30:05
  when
• 30:05
  they
• 30:05
  changed
• 30:05
  up
• 30:05
  a
• 30:06
  character
• 30:06
  a
• 30:06
  little
• 30:06
  bit
• 30:06
  with,
• 30:07
  oh
• 30:07
  my
• 30:07
  gosh,
• 30:08
  I'm
• 30:08
  done.
• 30:08
  I'm
• 30:09
  going
• 30:09
  the
• 30:09
  message
• 30:09
  boards,
• 30:10
  I'm
• 30:10
  going
• 30:10
  on
• 30:11
  the
• 30:11
  message
• 30:11
  boards.
• 30:12
  She
• 30:13
  acted
• 30:13
  like
• 30:13
  me
• 30:13
  with
• 30:14
  Last
• 30:14
  Jedi
• 30:14
  and
• 30:14
  I
• 30:14
  was
• 30:14
  like,
• 30:15
  oh,
• 30:15
  calm
• 30:15
  down,
• 30:15
  Will.
• 30:15
  Calm
• 30:16
  down.
• 30:16
  She
• 30:16
  wrote,
• 30:17
  she
• 30:17
  wrote,
• 30:17
  she
• 30:18
  wrote
• 30:18
  letters
• 30:18
  and
• 30:19
  she
• 30:19
  did
• 30:19
  like
• 30:19
  letters
• 30:20
  to
• 30:20
  the
• 30:20
  editor
• 30:20
  of
• 30:20
  the
• 30:20
  newspaper
• 30:21
  and
• 30:21
  was
• 30:21
  like,
• 30:22
  to
• 30:22
  whom
• 30:22
  it
• 30:22
  may
• 30:22
  concern
• 30:23
  because
• 30:23
  that's
• 30:23
  how
• 30:23
  people
• 30:24
  type.
• 30:24
  There
• 30:25
  you
• 30:25
  go.
• 30:25
  Y'all
• 30:26
  can't.
• 30:27
  Yeah,
• 30:28
  yeah,
• 30:28
  I,
• 30:28
  I,
• 30:29
  I
• 30:29
  love
• 30:29
  that.
• 30:29
  Yeah,
• 30:30
  all
• 30:30
  those
• 30:30
  themes
• 30:30
  are
• 30:31
  great.
• 30:31
  And
• 30:31
  I'm
• 30:31
  with
• 30:31
  you.
• 30:31
  And
• 30:31
  I
• 30:31
  think
• 30:31
  it,
• 30:32
  it's
• 30:32
  definitely
• 30:32
  a
• 30:32
  coming
• 30:32
  of
• 30:33
  age
• 30:33
  story.
• 30:33
  So
• 30:33
  you
• 30:34
  have
• 30:34
  this
• 30:34
  friendship.
• 30:34
  You're
• 30:34
  growing
• 30:35
  up
• 30:35
  from
• 30:36
  younger
• 30:37
  to
• 30:37
  adolescents
• 30:38
  to
• 30:38
  your
• 30:38
  relationships
• 30:39
  and
• 30:39
  what's
• 30:39
  important,
• 30:40
  there's
• 30:41
  jealousy,
• 30:41
  there's
• 30:41
  grief,
• 30:42
  there's
• 30:42
  finding
• 30:42
  identity.
• 30:43
  We're
• 30:43
  going
• 30:43
  to
• 30:43
  find
• 30:43
  more
• 30:43
  out
• 30:44
  probably
• 30:44
  in
• 30:44
  season
• 30:44
  five
• 30:45
  about
• 30:45
  Will's
• 30:46
  identity
• 30:46
  and
• 30:46
  him
• 30:46
  wrestling
• 30:47
  with
• 30:47
  a
• 30:47
  lot
• 30:47
  of
• 30:47
  stuff,
• 30:48
  whether
• 30:48
  it's
• 30:48
  his
• 30:48
  sexuality
• 30:49
  or
• 30:49
  friendship
• 30:49
  or
• 30:50
  whatever.
• 30:50
  There's
• 30:51
  those
• 30:51
  things
• 30:51
  you're
• 30:51
  wrestling
• 30:52
  with
• 30:52
  and
• 30:52
  who's
• 30:52
  your
• 30:52
  friends.
• 30:53
  And
• 30:53
  their
• 30:53
  tagline
• 30:54
  is
• 30:54
  friends
• 30:54
  don't
• 30:55
  lie.
• 30:55
  And
• 30:56
  so
• 30:56
  as
• 30:56
  the
• 30:56
  backdrop
• 30:57
  of
• 30:57
  this
• 30:57
  government
• 30:58
  conspiracy
• 30:58
  and
• 30:59
  government's
• 30:59
  lying
• 31:00
  to
• 31:00
  the
• 31:00
  people
• 31:00
  and
• 31:01
  keeping
• 31:01
  it
• 31:01
  behind
• 31:01
  the
• 31:02
  scenes
• 31:02
  and,
• 31:02
  and
• 31:03
  keeping
• 31:03
  secrets,
• 31:04
  you
• 31:04
  know,
• 31:04
  with
• 31:04
  these.
• 31:05
  Friends
• 31:05
  don't
• 31:05
  keep
• 31:05
  secrets.
• 31:06
  They
• 31:06
  don't
• 31:07
  lie
• 31:07
  to
• 31:07
  each
• 31:07
  other.
• 31:08
  It's
• 31:09
  found
• 31:09
  family,
• 31:09
  the
• 31:10
  friendship
• 31:10
  among
• 31:10
  one
• 31:11
  another
• 31:11
  and
• 31:12
  the
• 31:12
  growing.
• 31:12
  And
• 31:13
  how
• 31:14
  friendships
• 31:15
  and
• 31:15
  family
• 31:16
  evolve
• 31:16
  over
• 31:16
  time
• 31:16
  too.
• 31:17
  We
• 31:17
  become
• 31:17
  different
• 31:17
  people.
• 31:18
  And
• 31:18
  how
• 31:18
  can
• 31:18
  we
• 31:18
  still
• 31:18
  be
• 31:18
  friends
• 31:19
  even
• 31:19
  though
• 31:19
  we
• 31:19
  evolve
• 31:20
  ourselves
• 31:21
  and
• 31:21
  grow?
• 31:22
  What
• 31:22
  does
• 31:23
  that
• 31:23
  mean?
• 31:23
  Loss
• 31:23
  of
• 31:23
  innocence.
• 31:24
  But
• 31:24
  also
• 31:24
  how
• 31:24
  can
• 31:25
  we
• 31:25
  still
• 31:25
  be
• 31:26
  friends
• 31:26
  with
• 31:26
  each
• 31:26
  other?
• 31:27
  Deep,
• 31:27
  deeper,
• 31:28
  committed
• 31:29
  friends
• 31:29
  with
• 31:30
  those
• 31:30
  around
• 31:30
  us
• 31:31
  and
• 31:32
  how
• 31:32
  to
• 31:32
  deal
• 31:32
  with
• 31:32
  that
• 31:32
  conflict
• 31:33
  and
• 31:33
  all
• 31:33
  those
• 31:34
  things.
• 31:34
  So,
• 31:35
  yeah,
• 31:35
  a
• 31:35
  lot
• 31:35
  of
• 31:35
  things
• 31:36
  in
• 31:36
  this
• 31:36
  is
• 31:36
  like
• 31:36
  if
• 31:37
  you
• 31:37
  just
• 31:37
  have
• 31:37
  a
• 31:37
  good,
• 31:37
  healthy,
• 31:38
  honest
• 31:38
  conversation,
• 31:39
  you
• 31:39
  probably
• 31:39
  will
• 31:40
  save
• 31:40
  yourself
• 31:40
  a
• 31:40
  lot
• 31:40
  of
• 31:41
  heartbreak.
• 31:42
  And
• 31:43
  isn't
• 31:43
  that
• 31:43
  true
• 31:44
  in
• 31:44
  most
• 31:44
  of
• 31:44
  our
• 31:44
  lives
• 31:45
  and
• 31:45
  circles
• 31:45
  and
• 31:46
  workplace?
• 31:46
  Yeah.
• 31:47
  So,
• 31:48
  man,
• 31:48
  man,
• 31:49
  so
• 31:49
  good.
• 31:51
  I
• 31:51
  would
• 31:51
  guess
• 31:51
  that
• 31:52
  you
• 31:52
  ranked
• 31:52
  this
• 31:52
  high
• 31:53
  and
• 31:53
  you
• 31:53
  recommend
• 31:53
  this
• 31:54
  to
• 31:54
  everyone?
• 31:54
  What
• 31:54
  you
• 31:55
  say?
• 31:56
  Yes,
• 31:56
  I
• 31:57
  would
• 31:57
  certainly.
• 31:58
  Yeah,
• 31:58
  I
• 31:58
  don't.
• 31:59
  Yeah,
• 31:59
  we
• 32:00
  all
• 32:00
  say
• 32:00
  10.
• 32:00
  We
• 32:00
  all
• 32:01
  recommend
• 32:01
  it.
• 32:02
  Go
• 32:02
  do
• 32:02
  it.
• 32:02
  Go,
• 32:02
  go.
• 32:03
  If
• 32:03
  you
• 32:03
  haven't
• 32:03
  watched
• 32:03
  anything,
• 32:04
  if
• 32:05
  you.
• 32:05
  Need
• 32:05
  any
• 32:05
  more
• 32:05
  convincing
• 32:06
  to
• 32:06
  show
• 32:06
  you
• 32:06
  how
• 32:06
  much
• 32:06
  I
• 32:07
  love
• 32:07
  it.
• 32:07
  I
• 32:07
  mean,
• 32:07
  this
• 32:07
  is
• 32:07
  a
• 32:08
  Netflix
• 32:08
  streaming
• 32:09
  show.
• 32:09
  I
• 32:09
  have
• 32:09
  a
• 32:10
  subscription.
• 32:10
  I
• 32:11
  also
• 32:11
  have
• 32:11
  a
• 32:11
  physical
• 32:12
  copy
• 32:12
  of
• 32:12
  the
• 32:13
  first
• 32:13
  couple
• 32:14
  seasons
• 32:14
  in.
• 32:15
  They
• 32:15
  look,
• 32:15
  they're
• 32:16
  shaped
• 32:16
  like
• 32:16
  VHS's.
• 32:17
  They're
• 32:17
  on
• 32:17
  Blu
• 32:17
  Ray,
• 32:18
  but
• 32:18
  they're
• 32:18
  shaped
• 32:19
  like
• 32:19
  a
• 32:19
  VHS
• 32:19
  box.
• 32:20
  And
• 32:20
  that
• 32:21
  on
• 32:21
  my
• 32:21
  shelf
• 32:21
  dude,
• 32:22
  that's.
• 32:22
  Probably
• 32:22
  very
• 32:23
  smart
• 32:23
  because
• 32:23
  with
• 32:23
  the
• 32:23
  streaming
• 32:24
  service,
• 32:24
  you
• 32:24
  never
• 32:24
  know
• 32:24
  what
• 32:25
  company
• 32:25
  is
• 32:25
  going
• 32:25
  to
• 32:25
  go
• 32:26
  bankrupt
• 32:26
  and
• 32:26
  just
• 32:27
  quit
• 32:27
  and
• 32:27
  take
• 32:27
  it
• 32:27
  off.
• 32:27
  You'll
• 32:28
  never
• 32:28
  be
• 32:28
  able
• 32:28
  to
• 32:28
  see
• 32:28
  it
• 32:28
  again.
• 32:29
  A
• 32:29
  hard
• 32:29
  copy,
• 32:31
  collectible
• 32:32
  DVD
• 32:33
  or
• 32:33
  Blu
• 32:33
  Ray
• 32:34
  or
• 32:34
  VHS
• 32:35
  tape
• 32:35
  of
• 32:35
  strange
• 32:36
  things
• 32:36
  would
• 32:36
  be
• 32:37
  super,
• 32:37
  super
• 32:38
  rad.
• 32:38
  All
• 32:38
  right,
• 32:38
  before
• 32:39
  we
• 32:39
  go,
• 32:40
  what's
• 32:41
  your
• 32:41
  hope
• 32:42
  in
• 32:42
  a
• 32:43
  sentence
• 32:43
  or
• 32:43
  two?
• 32:43
  Your
• 32:44
  hope
• 32:44
  for
• 32:44
  season
• 32:44
  five?
• 32:46
  What
• 32:46
  is
• 32:46
  a
• 32:46
  hope?
• 32:47
  Oh,
• 32:48
  this
• 32:49
  is
• 32:49
  when
• 32:49
  we
• 32:49
  start
• 32:49
  playing
• 32:49
  the
• 32:50
  Stranger
• 32:50
  Themes
• 32:50
  theme
• 32:51
  song
• 32:51
  while
• 32:51
  we
• 32:52
  like
• 32:52
  jeopardy.
• 32:52
  While
• 32:52
  we're
• 32:53
  wait
• 32:53
  for
• 32:53
  the.
• 32:54
  For
• 32:54
  the
• 32:54
  answer.
• 32:55
  If
• 32:55
  Joshua
• 32:55
  can.
• 32:57
  This
• 32:57
  sounds
• 32:58
  a
• 32:58
  little
• 32:58
  paradox,
• 32:59
  but
• 32:59
  I
• 32:59
  want
• 33:00
  both.
• 33:00
  There's
• 33:01
  characters.
• 33:01
  I
• 33:01
  want
• 33:02
  to
• 33:02
  end
• 33:02
  up
• 33:02
  happy
• 33:02
  and
• 33:03
  have
• 33:03
  a
• 33:03
  night.
• 33:03
  Like,
• 33:03
  I
• 33:04
  like.
• 33:04
  I
• 33:04
  want
• 33:04
  Joyce
• 33:04
  and
• 33:04
  Hopper
• 33:05
  to
• 33:05
  be
• 33:05
  together,
• 33:05
  for
• 33:05
  instance,
• 33:06
  but
• 33:06
  I
• 33:07
  also
• 33:07
  want
• 33:07
  characters
• 33:07
  to
• 33:08
  die
• 33:08
  because
• 33:08
  the.
• 33:09
  The
• 33:09
  cast
• 33:09
  is
• 33:09
  way
• 33:10
  too
• 33:10
  big
• 33:10
  at
• 33:10
  the
• 33:10
  end.
• 33:11
  Like,
• 33:11
  there
• 33:12
  needs
• 33:12
  to
• 33:12
  be
• 33:12
  some
• 33:12
  finale
• 33:13
  and
• 33:13
  resolution
• 33:14
  to
• 33:14
  something
• 33:14
  and
• 33:15
  it's
• 33:15
  not.
• 33:15
  And
• 33:15
  I
• 33:15
  like,
• 33:16
  you
• 33:16
  know,
• 33:16
  like,
• 33:16
  oh,
• 33:17
  just
• 33:17
  screw.
• 33:17
  I
• 33:17
  don't
• 33:17
  like
• 33:17
  this
• 33:17
  character.
• 33:18
  It's
• 33:18
  like.
• 33:18
  No,
• 33:18
  it's
• 33:18
  just
• 33:19
  that
• 33:19
  they've
• 33:19
  had
• 33:19
  an
• 33:19
  arc
• 33:19
  and
• 33:20
  I
• 33:20
  haven't.
• 33:20
  I'm
• 33:21
  not
• 33:21
  gonna
• 33:21
  name
• 33:21
  specific
• 33:22
  characters
• 33:22
  right
• 33:22
  now
• 33:22
  for
• 33:22
  that,
• 33:23
  but
• 33:23
  I.
• 33:24
  There,
• 33:24
  there.
• 33:25
  It's
• 33:25
  gonna.
• 33:25
  It's
• 33:25
  gotta
• 33:26
  be
• 33:26
  a
• 33:26
  body
• 33:26
  count
• 33:27
  a
• 33:27
  little
• 33:27
  bit.
• 33:27
  We're
• 33:28
  not
• 33:28
  taking
• 33:28
  a
• 33:28
  massacre.
• 33:29
  But
• 33:29
  I
• 33:29
  want
• 33:29
  there
• 33:30
  to
• 33:30
  be
• 33:30
  a
• 33:30
  mix
• 33:30
  of
• 33:31
  death
• 33:32
  and
• 33:32
  tragedy
• 33:33
  and
• 33:34
  also
• 33:34
  hopeful
• 33:35
  resolution.
• 33:36
  Nice.
• 33:37
  I
• 33:37
  agree.
• 33:37
  I
• 33:38
  just
• 33:38
  want
• 33:38
  Hopper
• 33:38
  to
• 33:38
  be
• 33:39
  happy.
• 33:39
  That's
• 33:39
  all
• 33:39
  I'm
• 33:39
  asking.
• 33:40
  Just
• 33:40
  give
• 33:41
  Hopper
• 33:41
  a
• 33:41
  happy
• 33:41
  ending.
• 33:42
  Okay?
• 33:42
  He
• 33:43
  does.
• 33:43
  Yeah.
• 33:44
  Yeah,
• 33:44
  I
• 33:44
  agree
• 33:44
  with
• 33:45
  that.
• 33:45
  I
• 33:45
  would
• 33:45
  like
• 33:46
  season
• 33:46
  five.
• 33:46
  I
• 33:47
  would
• 33:47
  love
• 33:47
  justice
• 33:47
  for
• 33:48
  Barb.
• 33:48
  I
• 33:48
  want
• 33:48
  Hopper
• 33:49
  to
• 33:49
  have
• 33:50
  a
• 33:50
  good.
• 33:50
  A
• 33:50
  good
• 33:51
  send
• 33:51
  off,
• 33:51
  heroic
• 33:52
  send
• 33:52
  off
• 33:52
  right
• 33:53
  into
• 33:53
  the
• 33:53
  sunset.
• 33:54
  Happily
• 33:55
  ever
• 33:55
  after.
• 33:55
  Not
• 33:56
  sure
• 33:56
  that's
• 33:56
  what's
• 33:57
  going
• 33:57
  to
• 33:57
  happen.
• 33:57
  And
• 33:57
  then.
• 33:59
  Yeah,
• 34:00
  I
• 34:00
  don't
• 34:00
  know
• 34:00
  what
• 34:00
  I
• 34:01
  would
• 34:01
  like
• 34:01
  to
• 34:01
  see
• 34:01
  more.
• 34:02
  I
• 34:03
  guess
• 34:03
  we
• 34:03
  saw
• 34:03
  more
• 34:03
  of
• 34:03
  like
• 34:04
  she's
• 34:04
  number
• 34:04
  11
• 34:04
  and
• 34:05
  all
• 34:05
  the
• 34:05
  different
• 34:05
  kids
• 34:05
  and
• 34:05
  numbers,
• 34:06
  but
• 34:06
  that
• 34:07
  a
• 34:07
  little
• 34:07
  bit
• 34:07
  more
• 34:07
  a
• 34:08
  superhero
• 34:08
  team
• 34:09
  come
• 34:09
  together
• 34:09
  with
• 34:09
  different
• 34:09
  powers.
• 34:10
  And
• 34:11
  that
• 34:11
  might
• 34:11
  be
• 34:11
  too
• 34:11
  much,
• 34:12
  but
• 34:12
  I'm
• 34:12
  a.
• 34:12
  You
• 34:12
  know,
• 34:13
  I
• 34:13
  love
• 34:13
  those
• 34:13
  superhero
• 34:14
  teams.
• 34:14
  And
• 34:14
  so
• 34:14
  we
• 34:14
  could
• 34:15
  bring
• 34:15
  some
• 34:15
  X
• 34:15
  Men
• 34:15
  and
• 34:16
  X
• 34:16
  Women
• 34:16
  together
• 34:16
  and
• 34:17
  some
• 34:17
  mutants
• 34:17
  and
• 34:18
  fight
• 34:18
  the
• 34:18
  final
• 34:19
  thing.
• 34:19
  The
• 34:20
  other
• 34:20
  theme
• 34:20
  is
• 34:20
  just
• 34:21
  like,
• 34:21
  you
• 34:21
  know,
• 34:21
  the
• 34:21
  small
• 34:22
  versus
• 34:22
  the
• 34:22
  large.
• 34:23
  Like,
• 34:23
  you
• 34:23
  have
• 34:23
  these
• 34:23
  kids
• 34:23
  that
• 34:24
  really
• 34:24
  shouldn't
• 34:24
  beat
• 34:24
  a
• 34:24
  Demogorgordon
• 34:25
  or
• 34:25
  the
• 34:26
  Upside
• 34:26
  down,
• 34:26
  but.
• 34:27
  But
• 34:27
  yet.
• 34:27
  But
• 34:27
  yet
• 34:27
  they
• 34:28
  still
• 34:28
  win
• 34:28
  because
• 34:28
  of
• 34:28
  love
• 34:29
  and
• 34:29
  friendship.
• 34:29
  So
• 34:29
  I
• 34:29
  love
• 34:30
  this
• 34:30
  kind
• 34:30
  of
• 34:30
  element
• 34:30
  of
• 34:30
  like
• 34:31
  the
• 34:31
  mustard
• 34:31
  seed
• 34:32
  of
• 34:32
  faith,
• 34:32
  the
• 34:32
  hobbits,
• 34:33
  that
• 34:34
  which
• 34:34
  is
• 34:34
  small
• 34:34
  and
• 34:34
  unassuming
• 34:35
  ends
• 34:36
  up
• 34:36
  winning
• 34:36
  the
• 34:36
  day,
• 34:36
  because
• 34:37
  it's
• 34:38
  about
• 34:38
  love
• 34:38
  and
• 34:38
  friendship.
• 34:39
  So
• 34:39
  as
• 34:39
  long
• 34:39
  as
• 34:39
  they
• 34:39
  land
• 34:40
  that
• 34:40
  plane
• 34:40
  right
• 34:40
  there,
• 34:41
  I
• 34:41
  will
• 34:42
  let
• 34:42
  them
• 34:42
  tell
• 34:42
  the
• 34:42
  story
• 34:43
  that
• 34:43
  they
• 34:44
  want
• 34:44
  to
• 34:45
  tell.
• 34:45
  All
• 34:46
  right,
• 34:46
  one
• 34:46
  more
• 34:47
  final
• 34:47
  question.
• 34:48
  Man,
• 34:48
  we
• 34:48
  did
• 34:48
  it.
• 34:48
  We're
• 34:49
  33
• 34:49
  minutes
• 34:49
  in.
• 34:51
  Look
• 34:52
  at
• 34:52
  us.
• 34:52
  We
• 34:53
  will
• 34:53
  have
• 34:53
  more.
• 34:54
  We
• 34:54
  will
• 34:54
  have
• 34:54
  more
• 34:54
  discussions
• 34:55
  and
• 34:56
  pre
• 34:56
  game
• 34:56
  shows
• 34:57
  leading
• 34:57
  into
• 34:58
  season
• 34:58
  five.
• 34:58
  Whenever
• 34:58
  that
• 34:59
  comes
• 34:59
  out,
• 34:59
  we'll
• 34:59
  talk
• 34:59
  about
• 35:00
  more
• 35:00
  season.
• 35:00
  And
• 35:00
  when
• 35:01
  season
• 35:01
  five
• 35:01
  comes
• 35:01
  out,
• 35:01
  we'll
• 35:02
  be
• 35:02
  on
• 35:02
  this.
• 35:03
  Geeking
• 35:03
  out
• 35:03
  hard
• 35:04
  around
• 35:04
  that,
• 35:05
  but.
• 35:05
  All
• 35:05
  right,
• 35:06
  so
• 35:06
  you
• 35:06
  finish
• 35:06
  binging
• 35:07
  seasons
• 35:08
  one
• 35:08
  through
• 35:08
  four,
• 35:09
  what's
• 35:09
  the
• 35:09
  next
• 35:09
  show
• 35:10
  you
• 35:10
  binge
• 35:10
  or
• 35:10
  the
• 35:10
  next
• 35:11
  thing
• 35:11
  you
• 35:11
  do
• 35:11
  after.
• 35:12
  After
• 35:13
  this
• 35:13
  show,
• 35:13
  Laura,
• 35:14
  what
• 35:14
  do
• 35:14
  you
• 35:14
  do?
• 35:16
  I'm
• 35:16
  immediately
• 35:17
  gonna
• 35:17
  play
• 35:17
  D
• 35:18
  and
• 35:18
  D
• 35:18
  with
• 35:18
  my
• 35:18
  kids
• 35:19
  and
• 35:19
  force
• 35:19
  them
• 35:20
  to
• 35:20
  play
• 35:20
  with
• 35:21
  me
• 35:21
  throughout
• 35:21
  a
• 35:21
  whole
• 35:21
  campaign.
• 35:22
  We
• 35:22
  always
• 35:22
  start
• 35:23
  DD
• 35:23
  campaigns,
• 35:24
  and
• 35:24
  then
• 35:24
  after,
• 35:24
  like,
• 35:24
  five
• 35:25
  sessions,
• 35:25
  they're
• 35:25
  like,
• 35:25
  why
• 35:26
  are
• 35:26
  we
• 35:26
  still
• 35:26
  doing
• 35:26
  this?
• 35:27
  But
• 35:27
  I'm
• 35:27
  gonna
• 35:27
  be
• 35:27
  like,
• 35:28
  pull
• 35:28
  it
• 35:29
  together.
• 35:29
  Pull
• 35:29
  it
• 35:30
  together.
• 35:30
  So
• 35:31
  that's
• 35:31
  what
• 35:31
  I'm
• 35:31
  gonna
• 35:31
  do.
• 35:31
  We've
• 35:31
  already
• 35:32
  done
• 35:32
  the
• 35:32
  Stranger
• 35:33
  Things
• 35:33
  DD
• 35:34
  campaign,
• 35:34
  which
• 35:34
  is
• 35:34
  a
• 35:34
  lot
• 35:35
  of
• 35:35
  fun.
• 35:35
  And
• 35:35
  if
• 35:35
  you
• 35:35
  haven't
• 35:36
  do
• 35:36
  it.
• 35:36
  Haven't
• 35:37
  done
• 35:37
  it.
• 35:37
  I
• 35:37
  can't
• 35:38
  talk
• 35:38
  today.
• 35:39
  Highly
• 35:39
  recommend
• 35:39
  it.
• 35:40
  It's.
• 35:40
  It's
• 35:40
  really
• 35:41
  great.
• 35:41
  You
• 35:41
  can
• 35:41
  get
• 35:41
  it
• 35:41
  at
• 35:41
  ollie's
• 35:42
  for,
• 35:42
  like,
• 35:42
  $5,
• 35:43
  like,
• 35:43
  the
• 35:43
  whole
• 35:43
  set.
• 35:45
  Sorry,
• 35:47
  but.
• 35:47
  But.
• 35:48
  But,
• 35:49
  yeah,
• 35:49
  that's
• 35:49
  what
• 35:49
  I'm
• 35:49
  gonna
• 35:49
  do.
• 35:50
  Play
• 35:50
  D
• 35:50
  and
• 35:50
  D.
• 35:50
  I
• 35:51
  love
• 35:51
  it.
• 35:51
  So
• 35:52
  what
• 35:52
  I'll.
• 35:52
  What
• 35:52
  I'll
• 35:53
  do
• 35:53
  is
• 35:53
  I.
• 35:53
  I
• 35:53
  just
• 35:53
  got
• 35:54
  arrested
• 35:54
  that
• 35:54
  showing
• 35:55
  at
• 35:55
  that
• 35:55
  stranger's
• 35:55
  hotel
• 35:56
  room.
• 35:56
  Now
• 35:56
  I
• 35:57
  show
• 35:57
  up
• 35:57
  on
• 35:57
  Laura's
• 35:58
  doorstep,
• 35:58
  knock
• 35:58
  on
• 35:58
  the
• 35:59
  door.
• 35:59
  She's.
• 36:00
  And
• 36:00
  I
• 36:00
  was
• 36:00
  like,
• 36:00
  I'm
• 36:00
  here
• 36:00
  for
• 36:00
  the
• 36:00
  D
• 36:01
  and
• 36:01
  D
• 36:01
  campaign.
• 36:01
  That's
• 36:01
  what
• 36:02
  I'm
• 36:02
  doing.
• 36:02
  I'll
• 36:02
  be
• 36:02
  a
• 36:02
  part
• 36:02
  of
• 36:02
  your
• 36:02
  D
• 36:02
  and
• 36:02
  D
• 36:03
  camp.
• 36:03
  And
• 36:03
  you're
• 36:03
  like,
• 36:03
  well,
• 36:04
  how'd
• 36:04
  you
• 36:04
  find
• 36:04
  out
• 36:04
  where
• 36:04
  I
• 36:05
  lived?
• 36:05
  All
• 36:06
  right,
• 36:06
  I'm
• 36:06
  calling
• 36:07
  Hopper
• 36:07
  to
• 36:07
  come
• 36:07
  get
• 36:07
  you.
• 36:08
  So.
• 36:08
  But
• 36:08
  no,
• 36:09
  I'm
• 36:09
  gonna
• 36:09
  jump
• 36:09
  into
• 36:09
  D
• 36:10
  as
• 36:10
  well.
• 36:11
  I.
• 36:11
  I
• 36:11
  wan.
• 36:12
  I
• 36:12
  want
• 36:12
  to
• 36:12
  go
• 36:12
  theater
• 36:13
  the
• 36:13
  mine.
• 36:13
  I
• 36:13
  don't
• 36:13
  want
• 36:14
  to
• 36:14
  scroll
• 36:14
  on
• 36:14
  my
• 36:14
  phone.
• 36:15
  I
• 36:15
  don't
• 36:15
  want
• 36:15
  to
• 36:15
  look
• 36:15
  at,
• 36:16
  like,
• 36:16
  theories
• 36:17
  for
• 36:17
  season
• 36:17
  five
• 36:17
  or
• 36:17
  trail.
• 36:18
  I.
• 36:18
  I
• 36:18
  want
• 36:18
  to
• 36:19
  play,
• 36:19
  like,
• 36:19
  D
• 36:19
  and
• 36:19
  D
• 36:20
  in
• 36:20
  person,
• 36:20
  looking
• 36:21
  in
• 36:21
  their
• 36:21
  face,
• 36:21
  rolling
• 36:21
  a
• 36:22
  real
• 36:22
  die.
• 36:22
  That's
• 36:23
  what
• 36:23
  I'm
• 36:23
  doing
• 36:23
  right
• 36:23
  after
• 36:24
  this.
• 36:24
  Or
• 36:24
  I'm
• 36:24
  gonna
• 36:24
  go
• 36:24
  out,
• 36:25
  ride
• 36:25
  my
• 36:25
  bike,
• 36:26
  and
• 36:26
  look
• 36:26
  for,
• 36:27
  like,
• 36:27
  in
• 36:28
  the
• 36:28
  woods
• 36:28
  or
• 36:28
  something.
• 36:29
  That's.
• 36:29
  That's
• 36:29
  what
• 36:29
  I'm
• 36:29
  gonna
• 36:29
  do
• 36:30
  after.
• 36:30
  After
• 36:30
  doing
• 36:31
  that.
• 36:31
  Kevin,
• 36:31
  how
• 36:31
  about
• 36:31
  you?
• 36:32
  If
• 36:32
  they're
• 36:32
  available,
• 36:33
  they
• 36:33
  al.
• 36:33
  Drafthouse
• 36:34
  did
• 36:34
  a
• 36:35
  John
• 36:35
  Carpenter
• 36:36
  screening
• 36:37
  of
• 36:37
  like
• 36:37
  all
• 36:37
  of
• 36:37
  his
• 36:38
  movies
• 36:38
  a
• 36:38
  few
• 36:38
  years
• 36:38
  ago.
• 36:39
  Hypothetically,
• 36:40
  if
• 36:40
  that's
• 36:41
  playing
• 36:41
  right
• 36:42
  when
• 36:42
  I
• 36:42
  finish,
• 36:42
  I'm
• 36:43
  gonna
• 36:43
  take
• 36:43
  a
• 36:43
  bunch
• 36:43
  of
• 36:44
  friends
• 36:44
  and
• 36:44
  force
• 36:44
  them
• 36:44
  to
• 36:45
  watch
• 36:45
  all
• 36:45
  John
• 36:45
  Carpenter
• 36:46
  movies
• 36:46
  that
• 36:46
  they
• 36:47
  haven't
• 36:47
  seen
• 36:47
  before
• 36:48
  that
• 36:48
  are
• 36:49
  heavy
• 36:49
  referenced
• 36:50
  in
• 36:50
  throughout
• 36:50
  Stranger
• 36:51
  Things.
• 36:51
  So
• 36:52
  like
• 36:52
  they
• 36:52
  live
• 36:53
  and
• 36:54
  Escape
• 36:54
  from
• 36:54
  New
• 36:54
  York
• 36:55
  and
• 36:56
  so
• 36:56
  many
• 36:56
  others.
• 36:57
  Man,
• 36:57
  I'm
• 36:57
  leaving
• 36:57
  the
• 36:57
  D
• 36:58
  and
• 36:58
  D
• 36:58
  campaign
• 36:58
  with
• 36:58
  Laura
• 36:59
  and
• 36:59
  then
• 36:59
  I'm
• 36:59
  meeting
• 36:59
  you
• 36:59
  at
• 37:00
  the
• 37:00
  Alamo
• 37:00
  house
• 37:01
  and
• 37:02
  watching
• 37:02
  those
• 37:02
  movies
• 37:03
  with
• 37:03
  you.
• 37:03
  I
• 37:04
  do
• 37:04
  love
• 37:04
  Alamo
• 37:05
  and
• 37:05
  I
• 37:05
  wish
• 37:05
  that
• 37:05
  they
• 37:05
  would
• 37:06
  just
• 37:06
  do
• 37:06
  like
• 37:06
  a
• 37:06
  binge
• 37:07
  watch
• 37:07
  session
• 37:07
  of
• 37:08
  Stranger
• 37:08
  Things
• 37:08
  at
• 37:09
  Alamo.
• 37:09
  That
• 37:10
  would
• 37:10
  be
• 37:10
  great.
• 37:11
  It
• 37:11
  would
• 37:11
  be
• 37:11
  amazing.
• 37:12
  And
• 37:12
  they
• 37:12
  get
• 37:13
  it's
• 37:13
  the.
• 37:14
  I
• 37:14
  think
• 37:14
  they
• 37:14
  would
• 37:14
  be
• 37:14
  more
• 37:15
  than
• 37:15
  happy
• 37:15
  to.
• 37:15
  It's
• 37:15
  a
• 37:15
  lot
• 37:16
  of
• 37:16
  times
• 37:16
  when
• 37:17
  because
• 37:17
  they'll
• 37:17
  occasionally
• 37:18
  do
• 37:18
  TV
• 37:19
  episode
• 37:19
  streams
• 37:20
  there,
• 37:20
  but
• 37:20
  it's
• 37:21
  a
• 37:21
  matter
• 37:21
  of
• 37:21
  like
• 37:22
  getting
• 37:22
  the
• 37:22
  company
• 37:22
  to
• 37:22
  agree
• 37:23
  and
• 37:23
  all
• 37:23
  that.
• 37:23
  For
• 37:23
  sure.
• 37:24
  I,
• 37:24
  I,
• 37:24
  I
• 37:25
  would
• 37:25
  love
• 37:25
  for
• 37:25
  Netflix
• 37:26
  to
• 37:26
  let
• 37:27
  that
• 37:27
  happen.
• 37:27
  You
• 37:28
  know,
• 37:28
  have
• 37:28
  screenings
• 37:29
  at
• 37:29
  Alamo
• 37:29
  and
• 37:30
  other
• 37:30
  theater.
• 37:31
  And
• 37:31
  I
• 37:31
  would
• 37:31
  love
• 37:31
  for
• 37:32
  the
• 37:32
  Duffer
• 37:32
  Brothers.
• 37:32
  If
• 37:32
  you're
• 37:33
  listening
• 37:33
  to
• 37:33
  this
• 37:33
  episode,
• 37:34
  since
• 37:34
  you're
• 37:34
  from
• 37:34
  Durham,
• 37:35
  since
• 37:35
  you
• 37:36
  a
• 37:36
  lot
• 37:36
  of
• 37:37
  North
• 37:37
  Carolina
• 37:37
  deep
• 37:38
  cuts
• 37:38
  and
• 37:38
  references
• 37:39
  in
• 37:39
  your
• 37:39
  show,
• 37:39
  I
• 37:39
  think
• 37:40
  you
• 37:40
  should
• 37:40
  come
• 37:40
  to
• 37:40
  North
• 37:41
  Carolina
• 37:41
  Comic
• 37:41
  Con
• 37:42
  and
• 37:42
  do
• 37:42
  a
• 37:42
  panel
• 37:43
  where
• 37:43
  Kevin
• 37:43
  and
• 37:44
  Laura
• 37:44
  and
• 37:44
  I
• 37:44
  will
• 37:45
  moderate
• 37:46
  that
• 37:46
  panel
• 37:47
  and
• 37:47
  ask
• 37:47
  you
• 37:47
  all
• 37:47
  kind
• 37:48
  of
• 37:48
  geeky
• 37:48
  questions
• 37:48
  for
• 37:49
  a
• 37:49
  crossover
• 37:50

• 37:50
  with
• 37:51
  Systematic
• 37:51
  Geekology
• 37:52
  and
• 37:52
  whatever
• 37:52
  they
• 37:52
  want
• 37:52
  to
• 37:52
  put
• 37:52
  it
• 37:52
  on
• 37:53
  MC
• 37:53
  Comic
• 37:53
  Con.
• 37:53
  That's
• 37:54
  what
• 37:54
  we're
• 37:55
  going
• 37:55
  to
• 37:55
  do
• 37:55
  and
• 37:55
  manifest
• 37:56
  right
• 37:56
  now.
• 37:56
  Please,
• 37:57
  Lord,
• 37:57
  make
• 37:57
  that
• 37:58
  happen.
• 37:58
  Thank
• 37:58
  you

• 38:01
  and
• 38:01
  binging
• 38:02
  these
• 38:02
  shows
• 38:02
  with
• 38:02
  us.
• 38:03
  We
• 38:03
  could
• 38:03
  talk
• 38:03
  forever
• 38:04
  and
• 38:05
  man,
• 38:05
  we're

• 38:11
  And
• 38:11
  and
• 38:12
  remember,
• 38:12
  remember,
• 38:13
  remember,

  whether
