Glacier Park International Airport just pulled off a major runway renovation in record time—finishing early thanks to 150 workers, 14 companies, and perfect weather. They reopened the main runway by 9 AM Friday after 88 straight hours of work, installing new weather sensors, upgrading runway lights and comms gear—all while keeping the airport fully operational using a backup runway for 170+ flights, including critical med and cargo ops.
