- 0:11SPEAKER_03: Be sure and follow or subscribe to the Stephen Jeff Show wherever you listen to podcasts.
- 0:17SPEAKER_03: Write us a review while you're there too.
- 0:19SPEAKER_03: And now, here's Stephen Jeff.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, thank you, Johnny.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: One more beautiful introduction.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: Just a fantastic way to bring us into the show.
- 0:29SPEAKER_03: Johnny, I appreciate it.
- 0:31SPEAKER_03: And you know, Jeff, you know what I realized?
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: This is actually episode 50 of season two.
- 0:37SPEAKER_04: That actually makes it 30 years older than we are, exactly.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: So, what I think we should do, we not take any time off or anything, but next week I'll just declare that it's season three, and that'll be episode one of season three.
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: You know, we'll just we'll just kind of keep going, but episode 51, uh, you know, that sounds too, you know, alien-ish.
- 0:56SPEAKER_03: You know, I don't too many UFOs might be involved.
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: I don't, you know, but I digress.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: Jeff, isn't it great to be back?
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: It is great.
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: How's it going, Steve?
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: Today is is kind of an important day in a lot of ways, and I'm glad that we're we're having this opportunity to have this show tonight because today is the anniversary of the death of Ermengaard, Queen of the Franks.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: And I think in honor of Ermengaard, Queen of the Franks, I think people should just uh you know have a hot dog, maybe.
- 1:25SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:26unknown: I don't know.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: One of her descendants was Lothar and the Hand people.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: So I mean, hey, she was something.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Let me tell you.
- 1:33SPEAKER_03: I I think she's worth a hot dog.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: I'd go with the Hebrew National, but hey, that's just me.
- 1:38SPEAKER_04: You know, it sounds like a lot of good things are happening, but you know, it's kind of a tough week.
- 1:43SPEAKER_04: I was doing some catching up on the local news and oh oh, don't do that.
- 1:47SPEAKER_04: Oh, don't do that, Jeff.
- 1:49SPEAKER_04: Oh gosh, though, don't do that.
- 1:50SPEAKER_04: And I don't know.
- 1:51SPEAKER_04: Do these do these local news stations all they report is bad stuff, right?
- 1:55SPEAKER_04: Is that is that the only real news that maybe a little corruption politically or some mass mass shootings, maybe?
- 2:03SPEAKER_03: In their partial defense.
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: I mean, who would watch a show where they said, hey, 93% of the people in town are happy?
- 2:10SPEAKER_03: Ooh, hey, 89% of people did not have a problem today.
- 2:15SPEAKER_03: I didn't, you know, come on.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: No, that's nobody would watch that, right?
- 2:19SPEAKER_04: And it's not funny.
- 2:20SPEAKER_04: You know, I know we always start our show with something funny, and like literally just before we got on the air, I heard this just horrible story about something that happened locally here.
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: What happened?
- 2:32SPEAKER_04: It turns out that there was this woman, she's pregnant, pregnant with triplets.
- 2:37SPEAKER_03: Well, that happens to women primarily, but and that wasn't the bad news.
- 2:40SPEAKER_04: That wasn't the bad news, that wasn't the the disgusting news.
- 2:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and she was leaving the Cubs game and walking back to her car near Wrigley Field, and uh a couple guys stepped out behind a garbage can and one of them shot her three times in the stomach.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: I know, I know that is that is like the antithesis of our opening joke.
- 3:04SPEAKER_04: It's the opposite.
- 3:05SPEAKER_04: How can you laugh about anything after you hear about that?
- 3:09SPEAKER_03: It's the yin to our jokes, yang.
- 3:11SPEAKER_04: Yes, and the good news, and this I guess there is an upside to everything, uh, the good news to her getting shot.
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: Okay, I can't wait to hear this, Jeff.
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: What what is the upside?
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: They rushed her to the hospital.
- 3:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and the doctors found that the three bullets had actually penetrated the triplets that were going to be born, you know, a few months later.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: So there's good news in this somewhere, right?
- 3:37SPEAKER_04: Well, it's good news that I Steve, I don't know what the good news is about that, but but uh yeah, I the mother is okay.
- 3:45SPEAKER_04: And it turns out that the bullets did not penetrate the kids in any area that would result in something even worse.
- 3:53SPEAKER_04: And the doctor said, obviously not going to renew remove the bullets now, but you can come back, you know, and then we'll take the bullets out.
- 4:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 4:02SPEAKER_04: And this was a story from from a while back, and and when they were recapping the story, updating the story, is that the kids turned, I think, 14 or 15 years old, 15 years old, I guess.
- 4:15SPEAKER_04: And one of them came home to their mom, and their mom since then has, you know, lived a great life, and the kids did well in school.
- 4:22SPEAKER_04: And so the follow-up to this story yesterday was that one of the daughters came home and told her mom that she had felt this really sharp pain when she was peeing, and out popped this bullet, which she had not told her daughter that she had been shot.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: I mean, can you imagine if you had no idea that there was a bullet in you and suddenly, you know, you're peeing in a bullet.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: It's unbelievable.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: I mean, you think this that is one heck of a kidney stone.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: That is that is a lead kidney stone.
- 4:50SPEAKER_04: And so then this woman's telling the reporter that this her second daughter came home the next day and said that she also had a sharp pain when she was peeing and that she also peed out a bullet.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: That's becoming like a trend.
- 5:04SPEAKER_04: Ooh, yeah.
- 5:05SPEAKER_04: Then later that afternoon, their brother, the third of the triplets, came home and said to his mom that he had had a pain.
- 5:14SPEAKER_04: And the mother said, Oh, was that from peeing?
- 5:16SPEAKER_04: And then you peed out a bullet.
- 5:18SPEAKER_04: And he said, No, he said he was masturbating and he accidentally shot the dog.
- 5:22SPEAKER_04: Ah, okay.
- 5:25SPEAKER_03: Good news for them, probably not for the dog.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: Dog's kind of worse off, but that that just kind of sounds like our show two weeks ago, doesn't it?
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: With the with the pet treats and all, yeah.
- 5:34SPEAKER_04: I don't know if they bought that dog afterwards, but well, they if they didn't live in Ohio, they probably didn't.
- 5:39SPEAKER_03: You know, though, Jeff, in all that, you do actually make a good point, which I uh is stunning, frankly, but you actually do make a good point that there is there's a good point in there.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, society is really getting violent.
- 5:51SPEAKER_03: Doesn't it seem like generations get more and more violent?
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: You know, I mean there have always been bad guys, of course, but you gotta wonder as generations move on, as those bad guys have kids.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: Do those kids become their kids or grandkids?
- 6:05SPEAKER_03: Do they become even worse, maybe, than the old guys?
- 6:09SPEAKER_04: We were watching a movie a little while back called The Descendants.
- 6:12SPEAKER_04: I think there's a two of them.
- 6:13SPEAKER_04: I think there's one that's Disney and one with George Clooney or something.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, when you when you first told me that, I said, Yeah, okay, you watched that George Clooney movie.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: What with you know, yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_04: But the descendants was, I think, kind of that theme, Steve.
- 6:25SPEAKER_04: It was about Disney, evil Disney characters who have children, and the children are expected to be evil like their parents, you know, kind of like Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
- 6:38SPEAKER_04: If anybody ever saw that, you know, she had a daughter, and the daughter grew up and Ursula wanted her to be evil, and they broke the cycle of evilness.
- 6:48SPEAKER_04: And, you know, it was a Disney movie, so it had a happy ending where the kids ended up not like their parents.
- 6:53SPEAKER_04: But I I really did wonder whether that was true or not, whether that cycle can be broken, whether the guys that shot this woman had children and whether those children became evil like the people who shot her.
- 7:07SPEAKER_04: And you know, I don't know if I know the answer to that.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: Well, I am so glad that you said that, Jeff, because when you were telling me about this movie, I remembered.
- 7:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you remember Tippi used to be our producer before Miss Claire.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 7:19SPEAKER_03: She, of course, once Miss Claire came in, Tippy got a little frightened and ran for the hills, started her own company.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: Actually, she arranges for speakers and guests and things.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: So she's still doing booking, but just kind of freelancing.
- 7:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I gave her a call.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: I said, you know, could you find us descendants of really bad people and get them on the show?
- 7:39SPEAKER_03: We want to see if they are also bad.
- 7:41SPEAKER_03: You want to see the next generational thing.
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: And so, Jeff, you're not gonna believe this.
- 7:44SPEAKER_03: Tippy really came through, and we've got two are in the studio tonight, gonna be on the show, right?
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: The other side of that glass, and they'll be on this show tonight.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: And one is gonna call in, I believe, from uh from Florida.
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: I think he's going to call in.
- 7:57SPEAKER_03: Let's bring on our first guest.
- 7:58SPEAKER_03: What do you say?
- 7:59SPEAKER_03: His name is He is, I think you'll recognize who his father was.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: His name is uh Jeffrey Dahmer Jr.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- 8:08SPEAKER_03: But he goes by his nickname is the Cub.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: Cub or Jeffrey.
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: I which should I call you?
- 8:14SPEAKER_03: Should I call you Cub or Jeffrey?
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, well, I mean, you can call me a cub.
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: Cub.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: Welcome to the show, Cub.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: Good to have you here.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: Uh I just want to get a little bit of clarification.
- 8:23SPEAKER_02: Were you literally the reason you're gonna bring me on is just to say, Are you evil?
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah, not just.
- 8:30SPEAKER_03: Not yeah, no.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: I mean, here's that.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: I didn't, you know, take time out of my restaurant just to be caught in a gotcha piece, you know.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: Oh, oh, you have a restaurant.
- 8:41SPEAKER_03: Restaurant.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: Well, what's the name of your restaurant?
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: I named it after myself.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: Like I I called it the cub.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: Ah, so it's a Sheffield Madison, right?
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: You know, I know it well.
- 8:51SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 8:51SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 8:52SPEAKER_04: And just to be clear here, no, we're not trying to find out if you're evil.
- 8:57SPEAKER_04: We assume that you're not.
- 8:59SPEAKER_04: You you are familiar with your parents, though, and specifically your father.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I yeah.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: I I knew my dad.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: I mean, of course, you you Google your name every once in a while, and you know, you get something popped up.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah a bunch of uh basically for me, a bunch of it seems like a bunch of hit pieces personally.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, yes, sure.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: He did have bodies in his trunk, you know, in a ice chest in a freezer.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: But I mean, he wasn't the man.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: I just remember us being in a kitchen with each other, talking to each other about how to you know, how always it was always important to keep all of your instruments clean, yeah, and to make sure because if if you don't care enough about the tools you're doing, it's not worth the job, you know.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: Well, and cub, you make such a good point.
- 9:46SPEAKER_03: You know, all we know is the bad stuff.
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: We don't know.
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, hey, maybe he was really great at crossword puzzles, maybe he had wonderful gift ideas for the family.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: I there may have been all kinds of things that he did that might not sound that bad.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: Well, and you know, uh again, uh he attended a lot of my uh school programs and and things of that nature, didn't really make anybody too nervous while he was sitting there.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: Um, just kind of did have a bit of a thousand-yard stare.
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: Uh, figured that out later on from people when they talked to me about it, but always was interested in everything that I did, and I just feel like he he would be proud of the person that he's created.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: Cub, would you would you say that you know you went into restaurants and you learned cooking?
- 10:31SPEAKER_03: Maybe did you learn cooking from your dad?
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: I I'm not gonna immediately say he he gave me everything, like I get it had to go to culinary schools and stuff like that.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, sure.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: But he did definitely show me the the way to handle specific meats really, really well.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: So and I bet you you translate that into the cub restaurant now, right?
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: Every time I I'm serving liver and onions, I really know I'm getting the right cuts of liver.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: Any uh sometimes during Halloween right now, we have a special on um brains.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: Ooh, and uh I could always use some of those, yeah.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: And tongue, and tongue, and and that's really hard to get sometimes right now.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: I have a lot of trouble getting tongue, especially like first date, it's just out.
- 11:16SPEAKER_03: Second date, maybe you you know, you got a shot, maybe.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: You gotta ask her first.
- 11:21SPEAKER_02: That's the problem though.
- 11:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, maybe that's gosh, and of course, I should have talked to you months ago.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: And we're expanding out into catering right now.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: We're trying to do you know, finger sandwiches and and things of that nature.
- 11:31SPEAKER_04: So and that was kind of one of my questions was like, what theme?
- 11:35SPEAKER_04: Like, is it German?
- 11:36SPEAKER_04: Is it French?
- 11:37SPEAKER_04: Is it fast food?
- 11:39SPEAKER_04: But it sounds like you're talking about like wholesome food, you know, the kinds of food that everybody likes.
- 11:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: It's it's wholesome food.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: Sometimes when you get spicy, you you use a little lung fish, and um you make sure that it's there.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: And uh, I don't think that obviously, you know, I have some people that complain about I'm a vegetarian and I can't eat anything that stares back at me.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: And I just feel like that's a that's a foolish way to live.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: I think if you can enjoy a good, good hunk of meat, uh, I just don't want to live that life.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: I bet the restaurant has a wonderful menu.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: I mean, you probably have all kinds of good things, and maybe with the holidays coming up here, you're doing holiday-related themes.
- 12:20SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, absolutely.
- 12:21SPEAKER_04: I think I read somewhere that you're sort of famous for your bloody Marys, too.
- 12:25SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: Oh, uh we we those are great.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: We have a we have a darn near chunky bloody Mary, is what I like to say.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: Chunky.
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 12:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's like chunky peanut butter.
- 12:35SPEAKER_03: I love that too.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: You know, yeah.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: I want a bloody Mary you can chew.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: You know how we yeah, yeah.
- 12:40SPEAKER_03: And do you do those pitchers like the unlimited ones that brunch?
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: Oh, I love those.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'm I'm coming by.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: A little bit of a little bit of garnish on the side.
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: Basically, if you deep fry, if you deep fry anything and put a toothpick through it, anybody will need it.
- 12:54SPEAKER_04: Oh, I would.
- 12:55SPEAKER_04: I don't want to be condescending here, but you sound like you've grown into just a great guy, and yeah, you know, and that reinforces in my mind that when you come from something that isn't perfect, it doesn't mean that you can't be perfect, right?
- 13:10SPEAKER_04: And it sounds like you are.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: It gives us hope, it gives everyone hope to see.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: Look, I mean, he came from a pretty bad situation, but look, he runs a restaurant, he serves fine food, he's a fine member of the community.
- 13:23SPEAKER_03: Uh look at this.
- 13:24SPEAKER_03: There is hope.
- 13:25SPEAKER_03: I think that's excellent.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: Well, cub, I want to thank you for coming on the show.
- 13:28SPEAKER_03: We we gotta move to our other guest, but hey, I'm gonna visit your restaurant.
- 13:33SPEAKER_03: I can't wait to meet some of that tongue.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: All right, yeah, I appreciate that.
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna get out of here.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: Now, Jeff, we we have another one here in the studio that we gotta talk to.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: His name is uh Jimmy Jones, and he's from Pasadena, California.
- 13:47SPEAKER_04: Jimmy's is he wait, is he the son of the football coach?
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: You know, we'll find out.
- 13:51SPEAKER_04: Okay, we'll find out here.
- 13:53SPEAKER_04: I didn't know I didn't know he was evil.
- 13:54SPEAKER_03: Well, it depends on which team you like.
- 13:57SPEAKER_04: Dallas Cowboys differ.
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: Jimmy, welcome to the show.
- 14:01SPEAKER_03: Uh uh hey, hey guys.
- 14:03SPEAKER_03: Hi, Jimmy.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: Oh, hey, Jimmy.
- 14:05SPEAKER_03: Hi, uh no, no reason to be afraid.
- 14:07SPEAKER_03: Just uh step right up to the microphone.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: You're you know, you're fine, you're fine.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: Um, not much of a public speaker.
- 14:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, okay.
- 14:15SPEAKER_04: That's okay.
- 14:16SPEAKER_04: So, Jimmy, the theme of this show is coming from difficult places with relatives that maybe were not perfect, and how people have changed their lives.
- 14:27SPEAKER_04: And so, are you related to the football coach or are you related to the to some other famous Jimmy Jones?
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Other one.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: Well, yes, um, I I will uh answer that question with the question uh do I look like I do anything with football?
- 14:46SPEAKER_03: I gotta say, you don't really look a lot like Jimmy Jones, the football guy.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, no.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: Um I'm the latter one.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: Okay, good.
- 14:55SPEAKER_03: Oh the Jonestown guy.
- 14:57SPEAKER_03: I get you.
- 14:58SPEAKER_03: Okay, well, well, the Jonestone guy.
- 15:01SPEAKER_03: You certainly had an interesting childhood, I would think, you know.
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: Uh well, I mean, I didn't have uh I guess I was very alone.
- 15:09SPEAKER_02: I didn't really have dad and and mom.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: They both overdosed on Kool-Aid.
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I understand.
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: That'll that'll kill you.
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: That's just I've been trying to do that for years, you know.
- 15:19SPEAKER_03: It's all sugar, sugar wine.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I and that's that's kind of why I don't I don't drink any of that stuff.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: I tend to just be a water guy.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Um I I'm actually uh a real estate developer.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm terrific.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: I own a retirement village.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Excellent.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: A hundred acres outside of Pasadena.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: Great.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, very nice.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: Great land, uh, as always.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: It's it is a timeshare, uh, which I know how that feels.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: Uh it's aptly named the Jonestown Estates.
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: Good name.
- 15:48SPEAKER_03: I would guess with that name, the time is pretty short that they share.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: It's it's a frequent churn.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I have a lot of people coming in and out.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Uh cleanup sometimes can be a little bit messy.
- 16:00SPEAKER_04: And they say, I Steve, I think we even have an had an episode earlier last year.
- 16:04SPEAKER_04: They say once you're in a timeshare, it's impossible to get out.
- 16:09SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and then oh yeah, you basically it's till you die.
- 16:12SPEAKER_04: It's the end of the right.
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that is that is the best exit.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: That might be the only exit in a lot of cases.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: Sometimes that's what you just have to do.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you just have to look at each other and just go, We're we're in this till the long run.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: Do you have receptions for the residents there?
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: And and all the yeah, yeah.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: Like a meeting room where they all come in and maybe have it have a glass of juice or something.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: Uh we we have juices, we have like orange juice.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: We sometimes throw a continental breakfast their way.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: They got muffins and and cereal and oh, very nice.
- 16:43SPEAKER_03: Very nice, very nice.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it's BYOB if they're they're feeling frisky.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Um we have had a yeah, yeah.
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: So, Jimmy, did did you get a chance to know your dad?
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Not especially.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: He was always out and about and talking to people, and you know, sometimes I had to follow him at times, but I never really felt like we had to get a conversation going or anything like that.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: He was people seemed to like him, so oh yeah, that many people can't be wrong.
- 17:11SPEAKER_04: No, uh, and he was a unique man.
- 17:14SPEAKER_04: Uh, I don't know if I knew anybody quite like him.
- 17:16SPEAKER_04: There's a few, uh, Jimmy Swagger comes to mind, but in general, he was the perfect combination of a religious man and a sales guy.
- 17:25SPEAKER_04: And I'm a sales guy, and I just always respected that he was able to balance and be a part of both worlds.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: I I'm not so much uh the the religion side of it, but I and I try to balance the sales as best as I can.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: I mean, it is, you know, paying my bills as best as I'm allowed to, but you know, it's it's just it's great.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: It's it's I I have no complaints in my life right now.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: Well, and and you know, the interesting thing about that combination that you're talking about here of a religious guy and a sales guy, your dad, really probably better than anyone, was able to diminish one of them without necessarily enhancing the other one.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: That's unique.
- 18:05SPEAKER_03: I mean, I don't that that takes skill.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: I I I guess Jimmy, it's just it's just great to have you on the show, and I hope uh I hope that Jonestown Acres or Joe, I uh I hope Jonestown Estates is uh doing well.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: Jonestown Acres is a completely separate business entity.
- 18:20SPEAKER_04: So okay.
- 18:22SPEAKER_04: I don't hear good things about that.
- 18:23SPEAKER_04: That's a display.
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: It's a farmland and it's not good.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, oh wow, yeah.
- 18:28SPEAKER_03: That's where like the people the the one out of their contracts, you send them to Jonestown Acres.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: I mean it's mostly it's a sugar cane field, so and you know how I feel about that.
- 18:37SPEAKER_03: So for sure.
- 18:39SPEAKER_03: Brings back a lot of memories, I bet.
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's been great, great getting a hold of you again.
- 18:45SPEAKER_04: We we just said this uh before that yeah, we have another example of somebody who, regardless of where you came from, has made a great life for themselves, and you should be very proud.
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: Look at him, he's got real estate developments, he's got uh businesses going.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: This guy, you know, he really came from a bad situation.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: I mean, really, really bad situation.
- 19:05SPEAKER_03: And look at him, he's doing great.
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: Thank you, Jimmy.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: Thank you, guys.
- 19:09SPEAKER_04: And well, Steve, Steve, before we we go to our third guest, I was just wondering if right in our studio is Miss Claire.
- 19:17SPEAKER_04: And I was just wondering if Miss Claire had any children, and but they probably would be too young to interview at this point.
- 19:24SPEAKER_04: But at some point, I have a feeling we may do a future show where we might be interviewing Miss Claire's daughter or son.
- 19:30SPEAKER_04: Do you think that's possible?
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: I don't like the way she's looking at us right now.
- 19:34SPEAKER_03: She's over at that control panel, and it's yeah, it's not pretty.
- 19:38SPEAKER_04: Well, well, maybe we should just move on, then.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: We should just move on, yeah.
- 19:42SPEAKER_03: And now our our third guest is not here in the studio, wasn't able to join us live.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: Well, in person live, he's joining us live on the phone from Palm Beach, Florida.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: Like to introduce John A.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: Barron.
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: John, welcome to the show.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: Thanks for having me on the show.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person, but I have a call.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: There's a lot of that going around.
- 20:05SPEAKER_03: Uh pollen in the air, yeah.
- 20:06SPEAKER_04: No, a lot of a lot of that happening.
- 20:08SPEAKER_04: Welcome to our show, John.
- 20:10SPEAKER_04: And John, I I just have to ask, I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but are you a listener of our show?
- 20:16SPEAKER_04: Because we had a John Barron who gave us a tip on some stuff that was going on in Ohio.
- 20:23SPEAKER_04: And would that be you or is that somebody else?
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: Oh, no, no.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: That that must have been my brother, uh, John A.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: Barron.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: Uh, I'm the Baron who sent you proof Obama is from Kenya.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: Oh, I remember that.
- 20:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: I remember that.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:39SPEAKER_03: Well, now, and but you're John A.
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: Barron, also, right?
- 20:42SPEAKER_03: And you have a brother named John A.
- 20:44SPEAKER_03: Barron?
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: But my A stands for Adolph, and his stands for Andrew.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 20:49SPEAKER_03: Oh, there you go.
- 20:49SPEAKER_03: That's that's that's a distinction.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: Okay, exactly.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: John, what do you what do you do for a living?
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, not much.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm a billionaire.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: Uh but I'm in politics too.
- 21:01SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
- 21:01SPEAKER_04: Very good.
- 21:02SPEAKER_04: Would we know you?
- 21:03SPEAKER_04: Is there I I I am not familiar with your name.
- 21:06SPEAKER_04: Is there is is this your real name?
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: Well, yes, this is this is my real name.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Um, like I I you might have maybe seen I I own a group of uh travel agencies uh all over the world.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: You know, we we go to Australia, we go to Indonesia.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: We specialize though in uh European group vacations.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: Ah, it's the biggest the biggest vacation tour group in history, okay.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: I've seen the likes of this since people came to see my dad.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: You know, the the tour starts.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: Uh I'll just I'll just run through the tour.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: The tour starts in in Germany.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: Then it goes to Poland.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: Okay, then it goes down to Austria.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: Uh eventually I mean uh traveling to Paris and then and then for uh for a little extra money we go into the uh the Scandinavian countries, I mean, which is easy to to get to.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: And pretty much they're stress free.
- 22:08SPEAKER_03: A lot of paperwork probably tough country to travel in.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: Hard to prep for that.
- 22:17SPEAKER_03: Would you want to tell us who your famous ancestor was?
- 22:21SPEAKER_03: Your famous evil ancestor?
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, I I I don't recognize the name.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: And I'd I'd really rather not say, you know.
- 22:35SPEAKER_03: Which war would that be?
- 22:37SPEAKER_02: Uh one of the Great Wars.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: I've been told that there's a couple of them.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: So I am not we really couldn't narrow it down.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: Um, okay.
- 22:49SPEAKER_02: They they did say he he was very good at finding solutions.
- 22:53SPEAKER_03: Oh, I oh, okay, okay.
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: Very well.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: And he was popular, right?
- 22:58SPEAKER_03: He was popular.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, he was he was very popular.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I heard he was a decent painter too, which was interesting.
- 23:04SPEAKER_03: Uh an entire apartment, two coats, one afternoon.
- 23:07SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah.
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: Great painter, right?
- 23:10SPEAKER_04: That sounds fascinating.
- 23:12SPEAKER_04: And uh and and what you do sounds fascinating.
- 23:15SPEAKER_04: I I just came back from Krakow, Poland, and went to Auschwitz and you know, visited there, and that was really fun.
- 23:23SPEAKER_04: And and then traveled down to Austria.
- 23:25SPEAKER_04: So I I kind of did what you do.
- 23:27SPEAKER_04: I didn't do it as part of a tour.
- 23:28SPEAKER_04: Is there is there s some special things that if I had gone through your tour that I would have uh benefited from as opposed to doing this on my own?
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: We we we would have we would have talked about some more specific things.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: We would have given you the the real story as opposed to maybe what might have been talked about.
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: My dad, you know, it is kind of thing, he was he was very popular, uh, had big crowds.
- 23:52SPEAKER_02: No one has seen the likes of those crowds before.
- 23:55SPEAKER_02: All of that kind of stuff.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: Bigger than any war in history.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Uh 150 million people lost their lives in that war, almost all Nazis and innocent German so uh civilians.
- 24:06SPEAKER_02: As you know, there were good people who lost their lives on both sides uh in that war.
- 24:10SPEAKER_02: And I just think everybody uh overhypes one side, and it's just you know, typical fake news, lame stream media, you know, that kind of stuff.
- 24:20SPEAKER_03: Talking about his crowds, I bet people didn't leave his speeches early.
- 24:24SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: No one got Howard and left.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: None at all.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he would never ramble, he would never talk about fictional characters, he would just make sure everything was just right on point.
- 24:35SPEAKER_04: It sounds like you've learned a lot, you know, sort of the mistakes that maybe he made, that you you've corrected them, and you sound very successful.
- 24:43SPEAKER_04: I'm extremely impressed.
- 24:45SPEAKER_04: Yeah, very likable.
- 24:46SPEAKER_04: Uh, can is there a way you could give us the initials of this guy of your father, just so that we can maybe have a we we can guess at home, people can guess.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: I I would I would rather not, but um, let's just say I'm not him.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: Although uh it would be a a compliment to be considered as good as him.
- 25:06SPEAKER_03: You really made a good point tonight with these descendants that evil doesn't necessarily have to pass down to the descendants.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: Sometimes it does, sometimes it changes form, but it doesn't have to.
- 25:18SPEAKER_03: There's hope, Jeff.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: I I prefer to keep everything being handed down as pure as possible.
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: I'm getting a pretty good idea of who this is, John Barron, if that's your name.
- 25:29SPEAKER_03: Uh you know, appreciate you coming on the show.
- 25:31SPEAKER_03: And I so appreciate all of our guests tonight that I really think we should provide something for them just to as a thank you.
- 25:39SPEAKER_03: And so, Johnny, what do we have for our guests?
- 25:43SPEAKER_03: Right, Steve?
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: Our guests generously let legally untraceable gifts fall from their family trees, so now all three can enjoy them.
- 25:52SPEAKER_03: First, a lifetime membership in beautiful Jonestown Estates, a lovely retirement home and pharma root test site where you can see the Scenic San Gabriels if you have time.
- 26:03SPEAKER_03: Membership Good for Life or 60 Days, whichever comes first.
- 26:07SPEAKER_03: Jonestown Estates, where lifespans aren't long, but the juice sure is strong.
- 26:14SPEAKER_03: And they will relish dinner for three at the Cub, where they will enjoy a free Speak Your Mind special, which includes brains, tongue, and a site of steamed ricin.
- 26:25SPEAKER_03: Uh, rice, I think you meant to say.
- 26:27SPEAKER_03: Plus, you can choose your favorite style of preparation: Caribbean, Thai, or American.
- 26:33SPEAKER_03: The Cub, an appropriation station brand.
- 26:37SPEAKER_03: And speaking of American, our guests will receive a beautiful laminated America First Ancestry tree that shows 100% European ancestry.
- 26:47SPEAKER_03: It's suitable for framing, and they can take it sharply and write their names on it as if it was their own test.
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: This collector's item is made in China, but imported to America first, just like our name was imported.
- 27:00SPEAKER_03: This lovely and semi actor family tree is theirs for just a small donation of$25,000 to the John Barron Defense Fund.
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: For another$5,000, we'll throw in a gold-plated pair of used cats.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: This has been a DNA production that associates you with Eugenics Media.
- 27:18SPEAKER_03: Be sure and follow or subscribe to the Steven Jeff Show before you listen to the podcast.
- 27:26SPEAKER_03: This is Johnny's.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: Steven Jeff should have asked me to be on the show.
- 27:30SPEAKER_03: My father was an announcer in that Questo scandal of 1959.
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: And look, I turned out okay.
- 27:38SPEAKER_03: In fact, Steve's mom said just the other day that I'm a little better than okay.
- 27:42SPEAKER_03: I think we're jumping into the gene pool again tonight.
- 27:46SPEAKER_03: I'd better bring towels.
- 27:49SPEAKER_03: Good night.
