- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the almost Say it Was podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: You got Ben and actually back here together today. I
- 0:11Speaker 2: just referred to myself in the third person, so we.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Got a headline on our hands already.
- 0:16Speaker 4: How awkward are you?
- 0:18Speaker 2: I just got on the zoom and Ben is like
- 0:23Speaker 2: bleeding from his nose and it looks like from this
- 0:27Speaker 2: point of view that like you're dribbling blood into your mouth,
- 0:30Speaker 2: But that's just because the cotton up your nose. And yes,
- 0:33Speaker 2: he already used tampons and like, wow, he couldn't they
- 0:37Speaker 2: wouldn't fit.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh gosh, Ben, your nose is broken.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I literally told Ben when I first saw him, he
- 0:46Speaker 2: has the cutest, most perfect nose. This is something that
- 0:49Speaker 2: I've always admired about your face. How cute, soapy your
- 0:53Speaker 2: nose is. And he literally just broke it outside right
- 0:57Speaker 2: before getting on our podcast. Ben, can can you please
- 1:00Speaker 2: explain to everybody what just happened and how you're going
- 1:03Speaker 2: to the er after recording the podcast? Even though totally unnecessary,
- 1:06Speaker 2: we told him he could go now.
- 1:08Speaker 5: No, I'm doing it for the fans, doing it for
- 1:10Speaker 5: the fans, doing it for the fans.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I can tell you the whole story.
- 1:15Speaker 5: So I we have massive winds in Denver right now,
- 1:20Speaker 5: up to seventy mile per hour. And one of my
- 1:22Speaker 5: neighbors called and they said, hey, can you help us
- 1:25Speaker 5: pick up some of the trash that's coming to our
- 1:27Speaker 5: neighbor or into our yard because the whole neighborhood kind
- 1:30Speaker 5: of like funnels down into their yard. And I was like, yeah,
- 1:33Speaker 5: I'm home, why not? So I grabbed a trash bag.
- 1:35Speaker 5: I went out there. I was helping them out, and
- 1:37Speaker 5: then I looked up and the whole neighborhood is covered
- 1:39Speaker 5: in people's like trash, Like the whole place. Trash cans
- 1:43Speaker 5: are blown over, people are at work. So I was like,
- 1:45Speaker 5: you know what, I'm going to take the dog for
- 1:47Speaker 5: a walk, and I'm going to take this trash bag
- 1:48Speaker 5: with me, and I'm going to pick up the trash
- 1:50Speaker 5: along the side.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Of the road. By the way.
- 1:53Speaker 5: I won't mention some of the things I found, but
- 1:55Speaker 5: you don't want your neighbors going through your trash. People
- 1:57Speaker 5: are buying some real they're having some fun at their house.
- 2:00Speaker 3: To jop that. Now, Ben, you.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Must oh, I mean, I found I found boxes of
- 2:06Speaker 5: intimate products.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Like beyond condoms, like.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Yeah, like like self pleasuring toys.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh goodness, yeah wow.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Two of them actually in a very similar spot. So
- 2:21Speaker 5: either one family is really diving deep or two different
- 2:27Speaker 5: people in the neighborhood have just felt like.
- 2:28Speaker 4: The winner has gone on long enough and they need to.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Okay, juice, but this is not for.
- 2:36Speaker 5: My neighbors to hear and think, I like to go
- 2:37Speaker 5: through your trash. I hey, I don't know whose it was.
- 2:40Speaker 5: I respect my neighbor's privacy, but just know I was
- 2:43Speaker 5: trying to help. And so I make my way around
- 2:46Speaker 5: the neighborhood and there is a trash can that's tipped over,
- 2:49Speaker 5: and some of the trash from the trash can has
- 2:50Speaker 5: spilled out. So I picked oh oh, I picked the
- 2:54Speaker 5: trash can up, and I start picking up the trash
- 2:58Speaker 5: around the trash can, and I'm like, you know what,
- 3:00Speaker 5: I'll just throw it back into the trash can instead
- 3:02Speaker 5: of putting it in the garbage bag that I have.
- 3:05Speaker 5: And as I stood up, the trash lid picked up
- 3:08Speaker 5: by Augusta Wind came and smacked me right smack dab
- 3:12Speaker 5: in the middle of the face.
- 3:14Speaker 3: What kind of material was it.
- 3:16Speaker 4: It's a plastic can. It's like with the like the
- 3:19Speaker 4: lid is attached.
- 3:20Speaker 6: Swing like a classic garbage can.
- 3:22Speaker 5: But it's big and so when it picks it up,
- 3:25Speaker 5: it was it was going pretty hard, or at least
- 3:29Speaker 5: it felt like it.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so it got me. I mean you could see
- 3:34Speaker 4: where it got me, and it just smashed my nose in.
- 3:38Speaker 4: So after this, when I go into the hospital, see
- 3:40Speaker 4: what they can do, see because I'm in a lot
- 3:42Speaker 4: of pain and.
- 3:43Speaker 3: My eyes are it's so swollen.
- 3:45Speaker 5: You want to hear the craziest part. Yeah, Tomorrow we're
- 3:49Speaker 5: celebrating my mother in law sixtieth birthday. Oh and h
- 3:55Speaker 5: for her birthday, her one request is that all the
- 3:57Speaker 5: kids chipped in for a family picture. Well, so, yeah,
- 4:06Speaker 5: so they're gonna say that's my son in law who
- 4:08Speaker 5: we are well pleased.
- 4:09Speaker 2: She wanted every kid to have their own session of
- 4:13Speaker 2: or are they all getting together?
- 4:15Speaker 4: We're all getting together.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Oh you're flying to national tour.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna that's gonna feel really good too, the
- 4:20Speaker 2: pressure on your nose.
- 4:21Speaker 5: No, right, I don't know if they are. Actually Once
- 4:23Speaker 5: I go to the yar, I got to ask if they'll
- 4:24Speaker 5: allow me but so hey, we're here with the Broken
- 4:27Speaker 5: Nose on the almost famous podcast. We're here with Headlines today,
- 4:31Speaker 5: breaking down everything happening in Bachelor Nation. Let's start out
- 4:33Speaker 5: with this. Clayton Eckard reveals how reconnecting with X Susie
- 4:38Speaker 5: Evans led to paternity scandal.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Oh, this was juicy.
- 4:43Speaker 2: This is a juicy headline that he did not give
- 4:45Speaker 2: us when he was on our podcast a week or
- 4:46Speaker 2: two ago. So what happened was that he was really
- 4:52Speaker 2: into Susie again after the two of them had like
- 4:55Speaker 2: gotten a drink or a coffee or something, and he said,
- 4:59Speaker 2: all these emotions came rushing back and he didn't know
- 5:02Speaker 2: how to handle it.
- 5:03Speaker 6: He was like, do do we try to give this
- 5:04Speaker 6: another try?
- 5:06Speaker 2: I guess the hangout was like supposed to be just friends,
- 5:09Speaker 2: but then he left it feeling more. He said he
- 5:12Speaker 2: went home and he just was like smoking a lot
- 5:15Speaker 2: of pot that week. Afterward, he said to tame his emotions.
- 5:21Speaker 2: He wanted to suppress them. And then one of the
- 5:24Speaker 2: things that he did when he was super high was
- 5:26Speaker 2: bring back this girl who ended up creating this false
- 5:30Speaker 2: praty scandal with him. And because he was in touch
- 5:34Speaker 2: with Susie throughout it all, like she kind of had
- 5:37Speaker 2: firsthand knowledge about everything that was going around going on
- 5:40Speaker 2: with it. But at the same time, I guess he
- 5:42Speaker 2: was like, so we're friends, but like maybe I like you.
- 5:45Speaker 2: But then also I'm going to tell you right now
- 5:47Speaker 2: that I just slept with the girl.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Just ask my feelings for you. It seems like he
- 5:53Speaker 3: was in a very he it.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Does admit that he was like in a very messy
- 5:56Speaker 2: situation in his life and he was trying to like
- 5:59Speaker 2: to know them out. So so, Susie, if it wasn't
- 6:04Speaker 2: for you.
- 6:07Speaker 4: He wouldn't have his own podcast.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Me.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I mean, I can relate with going through like seasons
- 6:15Speaker 5: of like sadness over a love interest. I get that,
- 6:18Speaker 5: and I understand that sometimes when you're in those seasons,
- 6:21Speaker 5: you think the best way to solve it is to
- 6:24Speaker 5: you know, what's the saying they say.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Get under someone? You have to get under someone to
- 6:30Speaker 2: get over someone.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I I agree it's true.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I don't think it's I don't think that's healthy.
- 6:36Speaker 2: No. I understand though, to like what in the Ashley language,
- 6:42Speaker 2: I always just needed to find a new crush to
- 6:45Speaker 2: get over the old crush.
- 6:46Speaker 4: You've always had a crush.
- 6:48Speaker 6: I mean not like, yeah, celebrity crush.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's what I'm talking about. Those those
- 6:54Speaker 5: didn't satisfy well, no.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Because those could also become delusional, but like a lot
- 6:57Speaker 2: of them also were like.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Close enough.
- 7:01Speaker 2: The U.
- 7:02Speaker 5: I am curious about Clayton's decision here he it feels
- 7:07Speaker 5: like he continues to go back. Maybe he's like Rachel, right,
- 7:11Speaker 5: he tried, Susie, he tried. I wonder how often he
- 7:14Speaker 5: sits and thinks, Wow, I've really missed out on some
- 7:17Speaker 5: great women.
- 7:19Speaker 6: I mean, I think he probably does often.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I don't think he does that with Gabby though, you know,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I don't think he thinks about Gabby like that.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Did he have a thing with Gabby?
- 7:28Speaker 3: He should?
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah, they were, And then I remember he like she
- 7:31Speaker 2: made fun of she said lots of mean things about him.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I forget, I forgot that.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, Hey, next headline is semi relatable to mine.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Katzo gets a black eye.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Okay, we don't really know how she got a black eye.
- 7:46Speaker 3: She didn't.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Oh, okay, she said, I took a fall this century,
- 7:51Speaker 2: but it was so worth it for these key moments.
- 7:54Speaker 3: So she fell well, skiing.
- 7:56Speaker 2: And I think my takeaway from this is that she
- 8:00Speaker 2: was seen skiing on the slopes with a man that
- 8:05Speaker 2: she kind of teased to us was a flame that
- 8:09Speaker 2: was starting to burn pretty strong when she was on
- 8:11Speaker 2: the podcast about.
- 8:12Speaker 6: A month ago. Ooh yeah, I love he's still in
- 8:15Speaker 6: the picture.
- 8:16Speaker 3: We love it.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Her boyfriend, her boyfriend, and she falls skiing, which so
- 8:21Speaker 5: many of us do. That's such a cooler story than mine.
- 8:24Speaker 5: I got smacked in the face with a trash can
- 8:26Speaker 5: and she falls skiing. Hey, Bachelor Nations Jade Roper knows
- 8:42Speaker 5: Son Reid would have been a perfect brother to late son.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Boh.
- 8:47Speaker 2: He would be this sweetest, little friendliest, bubbliest boy.
- 8:53Speaker 3: He was so kind to Dawson.
- 8:55Speaker 6: You know, I mean Hayden Obviously he's nineteen months though.
- 8:58Speaker 2: So like with Dawson, they made friends at our vacation
- 9:02Speaker 2: in Mexico.
- 9:03Speaker 6: He and he's a year and some months older than him,
- 9:06Speaker 6: and it was a very.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Sweet but Jay just wanted to share a little redappreciation moment.
- 9:10Speaker 2: The other day, they went for a walk and then
- 9:13Speaker 2: they stopped at a park and a few older kids.
- 9:16Speaker 2: She thinks that they were like in their teens with
- 9:18Speaker 2: disabilities and special needs were playing there with their caregivers.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And then Reid was very sweet and befriended one boy
- 9:24Speaker 2: and gave him one of his hot wheels, and for
- 9:27Speaker 2: about thirty minutes they raced cars down the slide, and
- 9:30Speaker 2: she just was thinking about how good of a big
- 9:33Speaker 2: brother he would have been to the baby that they
- 9:37Speaker 2: they lost midway through her pregnancy. Bo She said that
- 9:41Speaker 2: Read is just so patient and thoughtful and friendly and
- 9:44Speaker 2: chatty that he is, and then she just would have
- 9:47Speaker 2: thought that he would have made it.
- 9:48Speaker 3: For a great big brother.
- 9:49Speaker 6: I'm so proud of him.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Very very sweet, very sweet. Speaking of something very sweet,
- 9:56Speaker 5: Susie Evans's sister gives birth to her first baby while
- 9:59Speaker 5: at the same time battling breast cancer.
- 10:03Speaker 3: So sad.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Her sister has stage two breast cancer and she'd even
- 10:10Speaker 2: been undergoing some chemo treatments light chemo treatments during the pregnancy.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I really don't know how that works. I know that's
- 10:16Speaker 2: a thing, but like, how is that? Like how is
- 10:19Speaker 2: that a thing? Do you have any idea?
- 10:23Speaker 4: No?
- 10:24Speaker 6: I mean, I guess I'm gonna have to ask my
- 10:25Speaker 6: dad about that one.
- 10:26Speaker 3: But so.
- 10:30Speaker 2: She just she did do a really cute Instagram reel
- 10:33Speaker 2: where it was like her running through the airport and
- 10:36Speaker 2: she gives her sister no attention and she just runs
- 10:38Speaker 2: over to the baby.
- 10:40Speaker 3: My sister. It was exactly like that.
- 10:44Speaker 2: But she said that she's done three rounds of slightly
- 10:49Speaker 2: less aggressive chemo before taking a three week break getting
- 10:52Speaker 2: induced at twenty nine weeks, and now she's about to
- 10:55Speaker 2: get that going again. She has to do nine rounds
- 10:58Speaker 2: and then they're gonna talk mission to me, they're not
- 11:01Speaker 2: sure yet, and then see where to go from there.
- 11:05Speaker 2: And she said that all this has changed a million
- 11:07Speaker 2: tillion times. The thing that sucks right now is that
- 11:10Speaker 2: I feel like this is the hardest for me, and
- 11:13Speaker 2: I just really want to get the misseectively done and
- 11:15Speaker 2: I really just want to get this removed. And then
- 11:19Speaker 2: she also said that like she feels okay, but like
- 11:21Speaker 2: obviously she feels.
- 11:22Speaker 3: You know, she felt pregnant.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And then she also has been going to the on
- 11:26Speaker 2: callist three times a week, and so there's been a
- 11:30Speaker 2: lot of doctor's webens, lots of symptoms, and she just says,
- 11:34Speaker 2: it's like so hard to watch your body fail when
- 11:36Speaker 2: you've always been so healthy. So we're definitely thinking about
- 11:39Speaker 2: all involved there and hoping she gets through this as
- 11:41Speaker 2: quickly as possible.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Quick correction, she was induced at thirty nine weeks.
- 11:46Speaker 3: What did I say?
- 11:47Speaker 4: Nine weeks?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Oh, whoopsie, Daisy, that's a that's fine. Big huge difference,
- 11:51Speaker 2: big huge difference.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Things.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Well, we got you.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Final headline is this, Tameron Hall and Jesse Palmer are
- 11:59Speaker 5: going to host the Oscars Red Carpet on ABC.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Who used to do the red carpet for ABC for
- 12:06Speaker 2: the Oscars when the Oscars were like a thing, isn't
- 12:09Speaker 2: if you don't how the Oscars are just not a
- 12:11Speaker 2: thing anymore?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean they've died.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Absolutely died, like to the point where I don't even
- 12:16Speaker 2: know if ABC will be doing it in a few
- 12:17Speaker 2: years from now. It's because like none of the movies
- 12:20Speaker 2: nominated are ever movies that we really see, and then
- 12:22Speaker 2: like a lot of the actors and actresses like, of course,
- 12:25Speaker 2: like you don't have to be a list, You shouldn't
- 12:29Speaker 2: have to be a list to receive these awards. But
- 12:33Speaker 2: it used to be like we knew all the movie
- 12:35Speaker 2: stars and we and we had seen all the movies
- 12:37Speaker 2: throughout the year, and now it's just like indie movies
- 12:40Speaker 2: with actors that we don't necessarily know.
- 12:44Speaker 4: There's we go through every year.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You do it.
- 12:49Speaker 5: You watch all the movies, well, we mark them. We
- 12:52Speaker 5: try to watch most of them. I'll be honest, most
- 12:54Speaker 5: of them, Like I don't follow.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't like enjoy because like they're too dark
- 13:00Speaker 2: and they're just like, ugh, these are depressing movies.
- 13:03Speaker 3: I do want.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Like like when Top Gun came out and that was
- 13:08Speaker 2: nominated and everybody loved that movie and it made you
- 13:12Speaker 2: feel pride. That was the kind of movie that I
- 13:16Speaker 2: felt like they kind of needed to give the Oscar
- 13:19Speaker 2: two for Best Picture just to be like, look at America,
- 13:22Speaker 2: the movie we all loved. The got the award of
- 13:26Speaker 2: being the most like the best, even though like it
- 13:31Speaker 2: maybe it wasn't as art.
- 13:32Speaker 3: It was an ARTIFARTSI I'm with you.
- 13:35Speaker 4: I used to love it.
- 13:36Speaker 5: It used to be something I have on my calendar,
- 13:39Speaker 5: sit down and watch it. I haven't watched it in
- 13:40Speaker 5: a long time. But doesn't take away from the fact
- 13:43Speaker 5: that Jesse Palmer still finds a way to be fill
- 13:47Speaker 5: his schedule up and it is with incredible efficiency that
- 13:51Speaker 5: he does.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Is everywhere, ABC, esp and Hulu, they love him, and
- 13:56Speaker 2: I mean, he is a wonderful dude. And the big
- 13:59Speaker 2: thing for us is that the Taylor, Freaky, Paul and
- 14:03Speaker 2: the Bachelorette special, which is apparently only twenty minutes of
- 14:07Speaker 2: It's like a thirty minute special and for us, you know,
- 14:10Speaker 2: like without commercial, will just be twenty minutes.
- 14:13Speaker 3: That will be airing after the Oscars. It's a huge
- 14:16Speaker 3: time slot.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Even though obviously we've just said that the Oscars aren't
- 14:19Speaker 2: what they used to be, It's still a huge time
- 14:21Speaker 2: slot to go after the Oscars because you have all.
- 14:24Speaker 3: The rollover effect.
- 14:25Speaker 2: It's kind of like how one of the most watched
- 14:26Speaker 2: episodes of any TV is usually right after.
- 14:29Speaker 3: The Super Bowl.
- 14:30Speaker 5: I used to host the show on NBC that ran
- 14:33Speaker 5: right after Saturday Night Live. You guys did it too, Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 5: First Look, and it would rewrite after Saturday Live and
- 14:38Speaker 5: everybody fall asleep watching Saturday Night Live, and First Look
- 14:41Speaker 5: will get all the viewers.
- 14:42Speaker 2: It's still got like a million viewers a week. I mean,
- 14:45Speaker 2: most of them are probably asleep. But I love working
- 14:48Speaker 2: on First Look. You love working on First Luck, says Jared.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it's great. That's all the headlines we have for you. Today.
- 14:55Speaker 4: I think we'll close with this Ashley.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Age of Attraction has come out on NETFLI yeah, hosted
- 15:01Speaker 5: by Nick and Natalie. We mentioned it a few weeks ago.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Have you watched it yet?
- 15:06Speaker 2: I think it dropped last night. Okay, and if I'm correct,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I think it drops the couple.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Let me just pull up Netflix really quick.
- 15:14Speaker 4: You know one of my closest friends in the world.
- 15:18Speaker 4: His sister.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Is on this season of The Attraction. Yeah, unfortunately she
- 15:26Speaker 5: wasn't shown very much.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Did you watch any yet?
- 15:29Speaker 1: No?
- 15:29Speaker 5: I haven't, and without I mean, I'm curious about the
- 15:34Speaker 5: idea I want to hear. I kind of want others
- 15:36Speaker 5: to watch it and tell me if I if I
- 15:39Speaker 5: should or not. But uh, yeah, Ashley watching dude.
- 15:44Speaker 2: There's a lot out So five episodes dropped today. They're
- 15:49Speaker 2: all an hour long, so that's a lot of viewing.
- 15:53Speaker 2: It does seem interesting though, So basically the premise is
- 15:57Speaker 2: like all these people are like they get together to
- 16:00Speaker 2: dating show and then you don't find out anybody's age.
- 16:02Speaker 2: There's a huge range of ages and I'm sure everybody
- 16:05Speaker 2: looks fabulous, but you don't find out the person's age
- 16:08Speaker 2: until a certain point, like once you basically are in
- 16:11Speaker 2: love with them.
- 16:13Speaker 4: That's I mean, that's that's wild. I like the idea
- 16:16Speaker 4: that the concept sounds interesting and like it sounds intriguing.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, could you imagine Nick and Natalie if they were
- 16:23Speaker 2: just in the dating pool and they didn't know each
- 16:26Speaker 2: other's ages. Honestly, nobody would ever think that they were
- 16:28Speaker 2: what they were. And obviously they're the hosts for a reason.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Because I think.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I don't want to put hard numbers on it.
